After about a year water was building up under crisper and ice maker would freeze also. At least once a week we have to shove towels in to soak up all the water because if not will run into freezer! Service tech said that’s pretty much junk. I agree!!! Do not buy! Looks nice but they are junk!!!

Bought my Samsung refrigerator less than 3 years ago, March, 2016. I have had to have the ice maker replaced and now the refrigerator is not cooling properly. It has taken a month to get a repairman in to fix the problem. Less than 36 hours later after it being repaired, I was awaken at 4 am in the morning with my refrigerator making the same noise and stopped cooling AGAIN. Luckily the refrigerator is still under warranty but I was without for a month, now it is going to be another 2 weeks before they can come out and replace the same part they just replaced. It is 2 weeks before Thanksgiving, how is anyone supposed to live without a refrigerator at this time of year? This is inexcusable! Samsung needs to buck up and get these items fixed or replace our units with new ones!!!

I dont see model no on it but it is stainless interior and black exterior with electronic buttons. I have been very satisfied but I couldnt give it a 5 because it has some trouble occasionally with heavily soiled dishes and when it dries it leaves water in any surface that is not completely flat. The quick run doesnt seem to be any shorter than the regular and it is a long run. It has a heavy soil. It is very quiet.

From last Thursday March 23, 2017 our Samsung stove got thermo cracked while doing cooking. Contact customer service. Sent them pictures of cracked glass of stove. Stove is manufactured in May 2016. We bought it few months back. They deny to send any help or tech to take a look. They said is physical damage and they dont cover it. Talked to their supervisor Mike.Updated on 04/05/2017: Talked to their supervisor Mike ** and their executive sale supervisor. Even they suggested us to show stove to their own company tech. And we paid $50 from our pocket. Even their own tech made a decision that it was not physical damage. It was thermo cracked but Samsung supervisor never accepted their own employee results or decision. How could trust on Samsung company when they dont trust or respect their own employee decision. They denied to help us.

My microwave (SMH9207) that I never took out of the box until about two months ago has gotten this nice wonderful SE error code. Samsung refuses to fix the microwave. They also are saying I bought the microwave in 2010, but that isnt true. The executive slipped up and told me that they actually go by date of manufacture and add two months to it. Next they just keep saying that they are not going to fix this problem even though you can go look anywhere online and see that they are having problems with all the keypads on their microwaves. Next, the tech support people really dont want to transfer you to anyone higher than them. They are smart ** over that. They are not going to do anything for you. Plus, they act like robots and read off the stuff that they have on the screen, and thats all instead of being like real companies and standing behind their product. I refuse to ever buy anything from them again.

I bought the refrigerator from Lowes 5/5/09. Lowes delivered six units before finding one with properly spaced doors. The first indication that I might have purchased a defective product became evident when the ice maker malfunctioned. There was a weekly ice jam inside the compartment. If it wasnt cleared, the ice was no longer dispensed. When kept empty the ice maker worked, dumping ice into the door with sound that could only be likened to that heard at a bowling alley. It would cause me to jump out of bed during the night.Soon after the jams appeared, I began to find pieces of white plastic in drinks when the ice dispenser was used. Over a year ago I began to see rust coming through the finish around the water/ice dispenser. I notified Samsung early on when the ice maker was jamming up and was told I needed to schedule an appointment for service. Well, forget that! There is no one who services Samsung where I live. Yes, there is a dealer in a nearby town, but they refused to service what they didnt sell!I was fed up with this unsightly appliance and decided to post my problem on Samsung Appliance USA Facebook page. I received the typical Samsung condescending response, You need to schedule a service call. Read my lips Samsung, there is no service. Ill get rid of this one and try another. I dont recommend buying anything from Samsung just because of the attitude regarding SERVICE! They will not stand behind their product. No, this isnt my first time experiencing a problem with Samsung!

We purchased a Samsung refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher to upgrade our kitchen. It has not been a year and the refrigerator is having all the problems in the other complaints stated by other people - wow!!! My family is in shocked to see the new product making this loud noise. The third party repairman supposedly fixed the ice maker advising this is a known problem but Samsung continue to put these products on the market - this should be a crime - this is so unfair to the consumers - I am going to write write write and talk talk talk until someone stop these defected refrigerators from being purchased - how many complaints do they have to receive? THE REFRIGERATORS ARE DEFECTED!!!

At the moment, our house is fully stocked with Samsung stainless steel appl
At the moment, our house is fully stocked with Samsung stainless steel appliances from top to bottom. Dishwasher, microwave, freerange oven, refrigerator, TVs, etc. You name it, we bought into the Samsung brand due to the tech features and the sleek designs, but we regret every single decision we made when buying the Samsung brand. Never have we ever had such an awful experience with EVERY single product from a single brand than with Samsung. Ill keep this review narrowed in focus to just the Samsung freerange oven, but I do want to provide some details around the numerous and frequent issues weve had with every other Samsung appliance we own.First off, some background, we usually buy our appliances from Lowes due to the proximity to our home and the frequent sales they offer. We started to renovate our house a few years ago and began purchasing new appliances at that time. From the start we had problems. First, we purchased a new Samsung waterwall dishwasher and within the first year, we had to repair a plastic motor part that drained water after the wash cycle. We decided to not purchase the Lowes warranty at the time (regrettably) and I was forced to watch a YouTube video of a guy taking the motor apart and using epoxy to repair a cheapo plastic part that was seemingly critical to the machines functionality. Next up was the Samsung microwave, which after 6 months had the motherboard supporting the dials blow out. It literally just stopped working, without warning or without an obvious cause. Luckily, this was within warranty and a new board was mailed to us, which solved the problem. Fast forward 3 years (which seems to be the magic timeframe for ALL Samsung appliances to crap out), were now having the exact same issue. So, outside of warranty, we need to figure out whether to fix or replace this crappy Samsung microwave. Next up we have the Samsung smart 55 LED TV. We bought this at Best Buy on a Black Friday deal 3 years ago and it was great...until it wasnt. No warning, it worked one day and then it didnt. Looked up all the DIY fixes and replaced the power board, no luck. It was JUST outside warranty and we know face the decision to pay more to fix it or just change to a new, different brand, TV. UGH!Now, to the Samsung freerange oven. To start, we are very, VERY, fortunate to not have had our house burn to the ground due to this incredibly dangerous and absolutely awful appliance from catching fire....TWICE! Some details, again, we bought our Samsung freerange range oven, Model NE597R0ABSR/AA, Serial Number J0V27DCC501158V, from Lowes back in 2019. We had a very old oven that just wasnt cutting it and we did quite a bit of research before purchasing this oven. We felt at the time that Samsung had very good reviews, despite some of their newer lines of appliances being out for a short period of time. We take the plunge and the experience of having it delivered and installed was great. Not more than 2 years of having the oven we had our first of two awful experiences with the oven. I cook for a family of 6 about 5-6 times a week, using 3 of the 4 range top burners and the oven at the same time. Thats a lot of cooking on a regular basis, so when we were simply cooking on 2 burners without using the oven and we saw FLAMES coming from the back of the oven, we were blown away. And terrified! We immediately turned the burner, got the fire extinguisher ready and shut off the main breaker to the kitchen. The flames subsided but the smoke was still billowing out of the back of the oven and the fire detectors went crazy. As we pulled the oven out from the wall (and took off the food, which eventually spoiled) we could see where the smoke was coming from. We unplugged the oven and took off the panel and the entire motherboard was melted....it was like someone doused it with gasoline and set it on fire. Our oven was ruined and the wall behind the oven was charred. Long story short, we filed a claim with Samsung and despite our oven being out of warranty for just a few months, they sent out techs (who didnt speak English) to replace the motherboard and it worked once again. We were pretty shaken from the experience and were hesitant using the oven or range with any level of intensity, but over time we began to use it normally. Not 10 months later, we were making dinner just like we always did (the night before Thanksgiving, nonetheless) and THE SAME THING HAPPENED, but on a different place on the the oven. We heard a POP, and the back of the oven started smoking and there were flames. Then the oven shut off. Once again, we turned off the oven, we pulled it out, we unplugged it, we removed the back panels and IT MELTED THE GODDAMN WIRES!This was the last straw. Samsung appliances have been nothing but an absolute disaster and even with warranties, they seem to stop working/break/catch fire/etc just days or weeks or months past the warranty timeframes. Samsung makes appliances and products that look great, but my god they are absolute trash. We are now in the process of replacing every Samsung product in our house to prevent a disaster in our home. Do your research, buy what you can afford, but please, do not buy Samsung. Its garbage.

DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG FRIDGE!!! It is garbage. I only had the fridge two years. It makes noise like a rocket about to launch. It freezes up and have to defrost for days. Then will work for a few months. Samsung wont do nothing about it. They said they will a service tech call to set up appt but no one ever calls. I finally just broke down and purchased a Whirlpool fridge. Samsung should just stick to TVs and phones. Even my Samsung washer and dryer is junk.

Samsung SMH2117S microwave - Samsung refused after various escalations to repair the SE- error code that made the OTR microwave go crazy. The fan initially kept turning itself on and off constantly, then would show the error code and die. Unplugging it and plugging it back in would briefly fix the issue, but then it just croaked for good. Just a few months out of warranty (of course), and now, for purely the principle, would join a CA lawsuit against Samsung despite the unlikely odds of that happening. Like most others here, we are adding Samsung (and Sony) to the list of god-awful businesses from which we will NEVER again purchase.

There is lots of room to store food in it. The design of 4 doors with the option of making the third door a fridge rather than freezer space is good for large families. Plenty of shelf space in doors for sauce, jam bottles as well a cheese storage. And a nice container for eggs. In addition the stainless steel does not show up finger or handprints and is easy to keep clean.

I am unhappy and very disappointed in our new dishwasher, delivered almost two months ago. I would not recommend this product to anyone! Not one load has come back totally clean! We were told to rinse of dishes and use a bleach based detergent and use a rinse aid. We do that! Residue still appears in glasses, bowls, etc. The rack is awkward and hard to fit dishes in, glasses tend to fall over. Never had this problem before. We were told Samsung was a good product when we were looking at refrigerators, stoves, etc. We bought all appliances to match. What a joke this dishwasher has been. Would like to get a new one! Our old Kenmore worked perfect but it was white, switched to stainless steel. Stainless steel gets dirty fast. Thought it wouldnt bug me to wipe it down. Ugh! What a pain! Wish we would of went with the smudge proof Frigidaire offered.

I bought a so-called Black Stainless Steel Samsung Range almost two years ago. I recently found out the hard way that this product is really stainless steel covered with a black vinyl coating. This coating is peeling on my range. It also scratches very easily leaving the shiny stainless steel below showing. Samsung charges more for this black vinyl coating yet they will not cover peeling or flaking of the coating in their warranty even if it occurs in the 1st year. They claim their warranty does not cover aesthetics. It is true, shiny stainless steel blotches on your otherwise nice looking range is ugly but does not affect the functioning of the stove which has been good. Samsung offers no remedy for this problem except that you can replace the peeling panels for hundreds of dollars. Apparently all brands of black stainless steel are this way except for Bosch appliances. Stay away from black stainless steel until they make a product that works and the manufacturers back it up with a warranty.

Purchased the NE59J7850WS Samsung dual flex electric oven. After less than 2.5 years, the oven is not working. It intermittently continues to heat, well past the set temperature, and well past 500F+. We have had servicing, but since the issue is intermittent, it didnt occur when he was here and he could only identify two things that could be going wrong (thermostat and control board), both which were replaced. Our Samsung Refrigerator RF267ABWP is 4.5 years old. We paid over $1,800 for it new. The ice maker recently quit working and then the water dispenser line froze up. We had a Samsung authorized repairman come out to fix the problem. Cost $417.00. We found out that actually, the Main Board had failed and it had apparently caused the ice maker and water line problems. We then found out there is a service bulletin issued via Samsung regarding the Main Board that had to be replaced to fix the problems. Samsung is obviously aware of the problem or the service bulletin would not be out there. Called Samsung to discuss this issue to see if they might reimburse us for the cost of the defective Board, since their company is aware of the Board problem. Terrible experience and now I know I will never ever purchase another Samsung product. After talking with multiple representatives, being accidentally hung up on, trying to sell me an extended warranty and absolutely refusing to let me speak to anyone in charge, like a supervisor, Samsung just completely ignored what I was telling them and said since our warranty was over, no offer of resolution for me. Each time I asked to speak to someone in charge, I was told they were busy. Each time I asked if this busy person could please call me back when they got a chance, I was ignored. I could not get anyone at Samsung to listen to what I was saying, or anyone to acknowledge the problem I was presenting to them. I am really Sorry I bought this Samsung refrigerator and advise anyone in the market for a refrigerator to keep looking until they find one of another brand that they like.

The water problem is a very easy fix..... buy an external water filter and plum it in in line either behind the unit or where the unit gets its supply of water. TAAADAAA remove the filter and it will now be in bypass, but the water is filtered before it gets to the fridge...... ONE other GREAT feature, the filters are 10 to 20 dollars as apposed to $70.00++ for each Samsung replacement filter. The filter assy (first filter is included) and reducer hardware to install is still less than the Samsung replacement filter. Just remember to buy the charcoal filter for taste and sediment. AS for the rest of the unit it is as already stated...... junk and service is an empty promise. After all they got your money..... so go away.

We purchased this product on July 27 2017. Months after we purchased it the ice maker started icing up and water started dripping inside the fridge. When you would hit the ice button you would first get water then ice would drop. The ice would not be totally frozen. Then water would drip out after you were finished. Three different times they have replaced the whole ice maker. On Nov 8 2018 they told our repair man they were going to do an exchange. Then on Nov 29 they had another company come in and fix it (3 time). On Jan 24 it started doing the same thing. When we contacted Samsung they told us it is now our problem. They are not going to fix it again. They totally lied to us about exchanging it. This fridge is nothing but junk and headaches. We ended up going to Sams Club and purchased an ice maker. You spend nearly $3000.00 for a refrigerator and you cant even have it make ice. Buy from a different company. They know they have problems with this refrigerator and they wont stand behind them. We will never have another Samsung in our house. Read other reviews on this. I know others have the same issue. We read them but we thought they had the issues resolved. The dishwasher is one year old and from day one smelled like football locker room, even when it was empty. It was installed by Home Depot. I re-routed the drain hose higher to keep water from the disposal from back-flowing into the dishwasher, which I assume has no back flow prevention valve, given the amount of water left in the sump after running. No change. Ive owned and installed many, many dishwashers and never had an odor problem, even when they were full of dirty dishes. We bought a second home home with brand new Samsung appliances. A Stove, Microwave, Dishwasher, refrigerator, washer and dryer. We have issues with every one of them! Poor design and poor engineering is consistent throughout the entire line. I wouldnt even recommend them to my worst enemy! The seller paid $500 for a transferable extended warranty. It took him 3 months of constantly calling Samsung and hours of arguing to finally get the warranty transferred! So, if you have an issue with a Samsung appliance, well, good luck.In addition to the constant horrible smell, the dish racks are very poorly laid out and waste a lot of space. Good luck trying to fit 12 place settings into this. It does a poor job of removing coffee stains from cups. The upper rack has only 2 height settings. On the higher one even small saucers hit the very useless top cutlery rack. On the lower setting you run the risk of the washer arm hitting any moderately tall dishes or pans, which causes food to stick to the dishes.I am speculating that the smell is caused by incomplete draining. There is filter that needs constant cleaning, but even keeping it clean doesnt prevent the smell. There is a sump under the filter where water pools, but that should be clean water? But many other dishwashers leave some water in the bottom and do not have this horrible smell. And, at this price point, the dishwasher should have a food grinder instead of a filter that needs constant cleaning! Again, poor design and engineering! The dishwasher is very quiet, and if you set it up within the confines of the poor design and engineering, it will usually get things fairly clean. But you can find many, many other dishwashers for much less money that will do a much better job every time, and smell fine even with a load of dirty dishes. Dont fall in love with the pretty face! Buy something that works!!!!

On August 2, 2018 a complaint was filed with New Jerseys Better Business Bureau against Samsung. The same day the BBB forwarded my complaint to Samsung and to my surprise the same day we received a phone call from Jamie ** from the Office of The President. Mrs. ** set up an appointment with Service Quick to repair the product for August 6, 2018.On August 6, 2018 I received a phone call from the technician assigned to my repair. Before even showing up at my house he told me he didnt have the parts to repair the refrigerator. He also stated that he was unaware of the refrigerator not working. He stated that the compressor issue is outside of his expertise and would need to be rescheduled. We had to wait another week without a refrigerator and I also needed to request another day off of work to accommodate the repair.I reached out to Mrs. ** to receive guidance because of the above miscommunication. Several phone calls and e-mails were sent to Mrs. ** and were never answered. Why reach out to someone to help solve a problem if you are only going to ignore them. It makes the situation much worse than better. Our refrigerator was repaired on Monday August 13, 2018. On Wednesday August 15, 2018 we purchased groceries. We woke up this morning to the freezer failing two days after the repair and losing all groceries that were in the freezer for a second time. Service Quick is wanting us to wait additional time to schedule the repair.During the conversation with Mrs. ** it was expressed that this was a one time accommodation to repair the unit. This ended up being a sealed system repair per the ticket. This is covered under the five year manufactured warranty per the technician and also our paperwork. So I am not sure what the one time accommodation is and why this is being treated as if Samsung is doing us a favor by fixing the product which is still under their manufactured warranty.I have already taken two days off of work between two technicians and now am being asked to take an additional day off of work. I need your assistance in getting someone out here to finalize this repair and/or replacement. Paperwork was given to the repairmen showing the ice-maker had been replaced (4) times previously. Now it has been replaced five times. This certainly falls up under Californias lemon law. As a consumer I have presented the product to the manufacturer or its representative so they could diagnose the defect and repair it. Along with the duty, as a consumer I have the right to expect the product will be repaired honestly and expeditiously. I have left prior to today a total of three telephone messages and three e-mails for Mrs.**. All have remained unanswered.

I have a 3 month old Samsung DW80M2020 dishwasher. The flashing light on Normal was the reason called for service as that is a signal something is wrong. I troubleshoot everything that was possible for me to check, service was dispatched from a company name of Nisi. I was told machine was out of balance and that they corrected the problem. Wrong. The problem still exists. Dispatched another young man on Friday and he noted on my ticket that he adjusted drain hose and that I should have no more problem. Wrong. The light was still blinking. I called again and they gave me a repair ticket number and the phone number for the same company that was out 2 times already and they told me they would not come out because it was not installed properly, How did it work great for 2 months if it had not been installed properly. Customer service is non existing at Samsung in my opinion.

We purchased a Samsung gas range in November and within 5 months they have been out to 3 times to make repairs. Once to fix the knobs and the control within a few weeks of purchase and twice now to replace the actual metal surface on top as the area around the griddle burner splits. The paint on the grates is lousy and comes off with every pot. The flame on the burners is very high even on simmer but the flame on the griddle burner in very low even on high. The oven doesnt work much better seems like the regular bake isnt hot enough and I usually have to add time to baked good. I dont think I would purchase another Samsung appliance.

I now join a select group of people that have made an expensive mistake. I bought a Samsung RS263 less than 3 years ago and now the ice maker and cooling fan have stopped working. It will not only cost me $375.09 to fix, but the parts are on back order and will take 5-6 business days to get here (translates into 8 days). I share the sentiments of many, Its a refrigerator, youre supposed to plug it in and forget about it for next 15 years!!! Now its down to can they really fix it or did we waste $1,300?

My husband and I purchased a suite of Samsung appliances in 2012 for our new home. Shortly after the refrigerator was installed and in use, we discovered a leaking problem in the right crisper drawer. We contacted Samsung who in turn sent a repairman to service the fridge and the problem seemed to be fixed until almost a year later. We have had three (3) separate repairmen come, all arranged by Samsung to assess the same leaking issue. The last repairman to come to our home to assess the problem, took pictures and sent onto Samsung.Samsung contacted us and said the fridge was defective and irreparable. Samsung offered us a depreciated refund of $266.30 and with this; we would have to completely empty the fridge for Samsung to pick up. The fridge cost $1,299 + taxes in 2012 and what was being offered was nowhere close to the cost of a new fridge. Letters and emails were exchanged and Samsung changed their offer to $500 but we would still need to prepare the fridge for Samsung to pick up.We did not accept their offer as we would be without a fridge and the cost of a new fridge was a lot more than what was being offered. Samsung said that was their final offer which is unacceptable. They have admitted the fridge is defective and all we want is a replacement of a similar fridge. Nothing more and nothing less. When purchasing any new appliances or products; they will not be from Samsung. This company does not stand behind their products and their customer service is very lacking.

He said that I had to pay to have a certified rep to come out and if it was under warranty they would pay for that but not the visit. I dont have a rep within 20 miles and I live in Detroit. Home Depot said that they have the worst appliances. I have the stove, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher. I wish that I would have done more research. Ive wasted tons of food because it may work for a day or two before it goes out.

Fridge - weve had problems from the start. Samsung has sent local technicians to fix it 5-6 times now, including the main computer board and the compressor (twice). The last time the tech came, he said he doesnt know what else to do, and recommends it be replaced. Samsung has denied this and says it is repairable. So we are stuck between Samsung saying its fixable and the tech saying he doesnt know what to do. THIS IS HOW WARRANTIES WORK???I have been patient for six months trying to deal with this, but Im done. I am telling everyone I know to never buy a Samsung appliance ever again. Oh, and last week our dishwasher broke. We bought it just under a year ago, but they dont even read emails. I clearly explained that 06-10-2014 meant OCTOBER 6th, and NOT June 10. But they didnt even read the email I sent with the receipt and simply denied the claim, so now Im having to deal with that. Every single miscommunication costs a week in terms of getting repairs done in a timely fashion. Oh, and if Samsung EVER tells you they will call you back in 24 hours, DO NOT believe it. They have told us that 5-7 times during these processes and never once did they do so.

Shortly after that, water began pooling in the Cool Select Pantry Drawer and now the drawer seems to be frozen in place and will not open at all. After some internet research Ive learned this a fairly common problem with Samsung refrigerators and apparently Samsung has chosen not to address the problem. I have a Samsung fridge that constantly has fluids in the veggie bins and underneath them. At times it will freeze then thaw and has cracked one of the bins. The company has received a repair ticket in Aug. 2014 and I am still getting the run around about a refund for literally way under price paid ($2300+) just shy of $600 and they keep assuring me someone from a higher-up dept. will contact me today every time I call (they did have a office of the PRESIDENTS contact me but again empty assurance) and just press in extensions till I receive a live person. I have health issues that only allow me to eat organic produce and I cant keep them in the fridge so my health now is struggling and the company is well aware of this and offered a $300 dollar food refund for Aug. till now, but again I havent seen a penny just promises and transfers and the customer service (refund dept.) are rude and has told me I need to pull the fridge out to cut the cord send them a certified package with it and then in 14 Business Days they will issue tour refund but it can take 7-10 business days for it to clear. I would steer CLEAR of Samsung if I were you. Its not worth the frustration they will put you through!

I have had my Samsung French door Twin cooling Refrigerator for a little more than a month. When cleaning and polishing it I noticed pin size rust spots that are barely visible to the eye. However when I spoke with Samsung they said I should of noticed them when the fridge was deliver. We did look over the appliance for scratches, dents, and marks but these spots are the size of the point of a pin and can not be seen until you are up very close which I was today when I was polishing the doors. Since it is a Cosmetic problem Samsung will do nothing.Goemans Appliances where I purchase my Appliances for my new home said to try Stainless Steel Cleaner. I will do that, I sure hope it works. When I hung up the phone from Samsung I went to the internet to see what I could do. It is frightening what can happen with these tiny spots if you do not get them under control. My advice do not buy Samsung. They do not stand behind their products. Goemans Appliances do not service their products and most of all DO NOT BUY SS APPLIANCES. I purchased the fridge (RF32FMQDBSR/AA) 3 years ago through South East Steel (SES). Immediately it was evident the ice maker was defective. Problems included no full size ice cubes, leaking constantly and requiring manual defrost and reset whenever door was left open more than a few seconds, for example if loading a large grocery order. It took quite a while for SES to respond to my concern. The repairman Samsung sent, while under warranty, pierced the mechanism with an ice pick, left in anger, and it took months to receive a replacement part and installation. Problem unsolved. I then went back through SES who took so long to get a repair request to Samsung, the warranty expired. Samsung did make the concession of sending out a repairman who said this model was known for its leaky ice maker, there was nothing he could do and to call the company periodically as it should soon be covered by a recall. I called every 4-6 months for over a year and a half to be told each time Samsung was aware of the problem and there was no remedy. Finally, the ice maker stopped working all together. I then called Sears Repair. The workman told me that this model was being replaced for any Sears customer with a long-term contract because Samsung was so unresponsive regarding the ice maker defects. He told me class action suits were pending. He did order a new motor. The second Sears technician who showed up to replace the $392 part told me it was a upgraded part for the ice maker. All problems resolved! So if Samsung knew about the problem and upgraded its ice maker motor, why wasnt it covered as part of a recall. And why, in all the calls and queries I made was I not told that upgraded replacement parts were available. And finally since this part solved the problem reported while under warranty, why isnt at least the cost of the part covered? Total repair was $600. I am asking for cost of the part. So far it has fallen on deaf ears at 1-800 SAMSUNG I am awaiting a supervisors supervisor call back. Wish me luck. Otherwise the fridge seems well designed and working well.

We purchased this range NX58J770SS/AS on the first week of November 2018. That week I worked late all week and didnt use the oven. The next week went on vacation. So back Thanksgiving week, cooked the Turkey and after that may have used the oven 3 or 4 times. So on Dec 18 I decided to bake croutons, top part of oven 400 degree, with about 3 tablespoon of oil on a baking sheet. After 10 min. thought they were done, shut the oven off. Then decided to put them in again for more crunch, turned the oven on. Turned around and in seconds the smoke alarms go off, and look in the oven and blazing flames coming from oven. Turned oven off and thank God my husband had a fire extinguisher out in the garage! Smoke was bad and now white stuff everywhere. Of course called service in the morning, and told them the same story. They sent a repairman Dec 24, took pictures and video for the technician people. I didnt get an answer from them by the end of that week, so I called them to see what their answer was. Their answer was is cosmetically injured. Ask them what that meant, there was oil on the back part of the oven. I said first it was cooked off. And 3 tablespoon of oil would of not caused a blazing flames. So now I have an oven that was told not to use by the repairman, and the people we purchased the oven from. The person I talked to said that was their decision, and end of that story. First I cook for a living and never saw a brand new oven cause that type of flame!

I did a kitchen remodel in December 2013. I bought all new appliances and was really impressed with the Samsung Dishwasher DW80F600UTS/AA model. In just over a year of having it installed, the dishwasher would stop after about 20 minutes and the delicate light would flash. I called Samsung and they said it was my drain line. I had someone come out and check my drain line, but that was not the problem. I called Samsung again and explained my situation. I was told that if I used their service center and if it was deemed Samsungs fault it would be repaired. I agreed and paid $110 for the service company to come to my house. He told me that the motherboard has gone out in all of these models but usually within the year. Since I am a single person and dont wash dishes as much as most families it just took it a little longer.I called Samsung again after they received his report and basically was offered to buy a extended warranty. When I refused, I was offered for the part to be paid for but not the installation. Customer Service is horrible. Every time I called they said I would get a phone call regarding their customer service but as of today there has been no phone call - guess they really dont care. Its a shame that they dont stand behind their product - if the motherboard had been replaced in this model I should have received something within the year of buying it stating there was a problem and they were willing to replace it. Car manufacturers recall their product when they see a problem and is willing to repair/replace product.

I bought a Samsung refrigerator 9 months ago. It worked for 4 months and stopped cooling. Unable to reach Samsung, I contacted the California’s state attorney general’s office and they contacted Samsung within a week (complaints are not new to them). Someone from the office of the president called and was annoyed that I did not contact them first. I noted that they do not want to be contacted; otherwise, the number would be posted online. Instead, there is a bogus number with their corporate address. I was told that I would receive a full refund. They later indicated that full refund was only the price of the refrigerator, not the total purchase price (which included $158.00 in taxes). Ive refused to accept less than the full purchase price. RF267ABRS - My experience leads me to believe that Samsung refrigerators are junk. They look nice but after a few years, you will have problems. It started with the lower part of the refrigerator filling with water that iced up and leaked onto the hardwoods. I kept having to get ice and water out of the fridge, then it stopped (for now). Next, my ice maker chamber stopped cooling. Theres nothing online about how to fix this (that I could find). I called Samsung but if the fridge is not under 1 year old then they tell me they can set me up with maintenance but I have to pay for it. I had to buy a new washer and dryer and decided it was time to stop giving loyalty to a company that in my opinion, makes things to break. Stick with Samsung TVs, skip the appliance.

Model # RF260BEAESR/AA -- do not buy this product...ever! Left French door assembly/gasket has broken and literally fell off twice. As it is a little over 2 years old, it is no longer under warranty, therefore Lowes has offered me nothing but rudeness and ridiculous hold times. The end result is that Samsung had to be called directly. After repeated phone calls and hours of my life that I can no longer get back, its going to cost me ANOTHER 300.00 to replace the same part. Samsungs customer support is deplorable. They have essentially offered me nothing. After the tech completes this repair my total repair/loss cost will be almost 1,000.00, and I will still have the same horrible appliance that will undoubtedly need the same repair months from now. Samsung has refused to even pay for the diagnostic tech appointment (another 90.00 to tell me what I already know) or parts, or labor. Apparently when you buy a Samsung appliance you are entirely responsible for obvious factory defects and they will assist with nothing...ever. In speaking with a few Samsung-certified technicians, they have informed me that not only do most customers have this disappointing experience but their own technicians cannot get the support they need to provide the necessary service!!! My Samsung 24-inch dishwasher model DMT300RFS is less than three years old.
My Samsung 24-inch dishwasher model DMT300RFS is less than three years old. We have had problems with the dishes coming out of the dishwasher with ground-up food on them since day one. Recently we have been getting an error code for clogged drain also. I pulled the dishwasher into the middle of the kitchen floor, checked all plumbing and drain hose and found them clear. I ran the machine and found it was only discharging a small amount of water during the drain cycle. I removed the filter in the tub - clear. I removed the drain pump - clear. I checked the rubber check-valve upstream of the pump and found it cocked and stuck sideways. I freed it with my finger (it is in the molded plastic comprising the bottom of the tub). I reassembled the unit and operated it and it pumped like a banshee during the drain cycle. After running the machine a couple of times it started pumping only a trickle again. The check valve had become cocked and stuck again. What is happening is the check valve sticks open and when it hits the drain cycle, the drain pump pumps dirty water back into the dishwasher and only a trickle gets pumped to the sink drain. Dirty water stays in the tub and debris gets deposited back on the dishes during the rinse cycle. Because it takes so long to drain the tub, the machine thinks the drain is plugged and shuts down with a clogged drain issue. The part with the check valve in it is very expensive and (for me) would require a service technician to replace it, adding to the cost. To me, I will be better off replacing the unit. There are review after review on the internet complaining of these same problems (dirty dishes and error codes). It is my opinion that this problem is a design error as it is not possible to provide maintenance to the check valve. It is deep in the large plastic piece comprising the bottom of the tub.I hope this post helps others understand what is wrong with their machine.

Same issue as William. Purchased the RFG298HDRS refrigerator with bottom freezer drawer less than one year ago. Recently, noticed the inside of the freezer and all contents were covered with furry frost. Thought door was left open on accident. Noticed instead that the weatherstripping seal was no longer touching the refrigerator when drawer was closed. Took all contents from freezer. Drawer would still not close all the way. Turns out like William above, 1.5 inches thick-1 inch thick solid sheet of ice covering inside of drawer housing- floor of the freezer housing. Took upper freezer drawer out and was able to remove solid sheet of ice in two pieces from bottom of freezer. Now drawer closes fine. This is really an unfortunate situation. I think the water that leaked before we noticed the problem, has ruined the floor. (The flooring wasnt my choice, it was here when we bought the place. Not ideal for a kitchen but what can you do?) At any rate, drawer now easily opens and closes. I will watch for it to become more difficult as time goes on and will add emptying freezer and chipping off sheets of ice to my growing list of things I have to do to accommodate other peoples stupid design flaws.

I just got a brand new Samsung DW80K7050US dishwasher which retails for $950. To install it, the electricity must be connected (easy) and the output line has to be connected (easy) and the supply line has to be connected (easy). But.. when I turn the water on, I can hear a high pressure leak but see no water coming from anywhere. After a few minutes, a puddle of water comes from under the machine. There isnt a drop of water IN the machine. That means that when the machine was put together, there is a leaky seal or missing washer someplace... And I have to uninstall the machine, turn it upside down and play surgeon for a few hours trying to fix this damned leak. That is ridiculous.Even worse, I have done searches on this, and that problem is not uncommon. Typically it is fixed by the install, but in this case, I installed it. Why should I pay someone $150 to connect 3 wires and two hoses? Its no more complicated than attaching a garden hose. Obviously they dont test their products for leaks before shipping them out.

And the best part is it’s backed by Samsung customer service, and customer service is the key factor for me.

This appliance (Over the Range 2.1 Cu.Ft. Microwave Oven) was bought in April, 2016 for $500.00. In April, 2018 the vent began turning itself when no one was using the oven & ion. August 13th a fire had just started while I was asleep. Luckily I woke up & was able to unplug the oven. 8/14/16 I contacted Samsung. I was hung up on or suddenly disconnected a few times but was finally given a repair ticket. A repair shop called on 8/16 and told my husband that he had to take the microwave off its mount by 8/20 because they were coming. Although Samsung was paying them they could only come at one particular time on 8/20 and would not reschedule. Also they refused to come unless the microwave was unmounted. Two people have to unmount the microwave so we had to arrange help or that was it! I called Samsung right afterward and they said the ticket was canceled. From then on we got the runaround and the gist of it was that wed have to pay $200.00 or the cost of a repair, not having any idea whether or not it could be repaired.

BEWARE. Had problems from the first week. Leaks like crazy on the heavy wash cycle. After several service calls and repairs we gave up and stopped using that cycle as the issue could never be resolved. We only use the express cycle to avoid leakage. Worked that way for a year. Now we have a computer problem where the key pad just blinks but the dishwasher wont start. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. Most expensive piece of garbage weve ever purchased. So sick of service calls. Going to trash this piece of junk and cut our VERY EXPENSIVE losses. This was supposed to be top of the line. Dont be fooled. Its garbage.

Samsung Side by Side Refrigerator RS263TDPN froze up the fan in the refrigerator side of the unit. I removed the plastic in front of the fan and defrosted the ice that had accumulated. Now I am attempting to re-install the parts and use the refrigerator. The unit had heated up the refrigerator and I had to throw away lots of food. That this is an issue with no Samsung support or bulletin is criminal. That the salespeople at stores continue to sell these units with no mention or discussion of problems when asked about the units is also criminal.

Samsung Model DW80F600UTB Dishwasher - I usually do not write comments about products but if this helps anyone who is buying a dishwasher then here goes. We bought a Samsung dishwasher to replace Bosch that quit working. We were sold on the features & the fact that our longtime salesperson friend recommended it. Really bad choice, From the beginning the dishwasher barely cleaned the dishes. The silverware never ever got completely clean. It leaves a very bad odor when the dishes are done that the old one never did. Loading this thing is a total nightmare. The top shelf is not too bad, but trying to get things in the bottom shelf is almost impossible. The front keypad to start the dishwasher has been difficult to use from the very beginning. You almost have to push with 2 hands to get the start button to engage. Now we can not go out a buy a new dishwasher so we are stuck with this thing until it totally stops working. My advice to anyone reading this because they are thinking about a Samsung dishwasher, please look at another brand. Thank You.

I had the refrigerator about a year and the memory board went out causing the icebox part to freeze and the freezer part to be the icebox. It cost me $500 to replace the memory board. Now eight months later, my washer has stopped working. It is a computer chip that has gone out which Im sure will not be cheap. I wouldnt recommend Samsung to anyone. They couldnt give me another Samsung product for free. I wouldnt bring it in my house. Buyers beware!

I purchased this fridge because it was the best looking fridge on display at Lowes. I know now dont buy something based on looks. We had problems before we ever got it on. The ice maker didnt work on it as soon as we got it moved in. It was still under warranty then so they sent out a repair man to install a whole new freeze door because the ice maker is in the door. Even the repair man said they have more calls on Samsung than any other fridge. FYI, he said that Whirlpool is the best one to buy. We bought the whole kitchen set; hopefully, the rest last a little longer than the fridge. Needless to say, I will never buy Samsung again. Horrible product.

The problem with water in the drawers and on floor of refrigerator section
The problem with water in the drawers and on floor of refrigerator section is quite common. The drain tube gets iced up. You need to replace the evaporator cover in the refrigerator section. You also need to add a drain probe to carry heat from the defrost heater into the drain tube. Before you can remove the cover, you must defrost ref for 24 hours with doors open, unplugged. To remove rear cover in ref section remove 2 screws along bottom edge and then remove plug in center near top and remove screw under it. Start prying from each side from the bottom. Release 2 plugs at top left. Make sure drain hole in tray under evaporator is clear of ice by pouring hot water down it. Install new probe and install new cover. I think that if you go to searsparts.com and enter your model number you should be able find the correct parts.

About one year after I purchased my Samsung dishwasher (DMT800RHS), we began getting error messages and problems with dishes. We had a Samsung authorized tech come out at $250 expense to ourselves and he found a bunch of plastic pieces the color of the racks in the pump impeller. Nearly 6 months later, we had the same issue and had a local tech come out. For another $75, he retrieved the same rack colored pieces of plastic out of the pump. Tonight, we had a third tech come out and retrieve more rack pieces out of the pump. I have attached photos of the rack adjuster, where every plastic attachment is broken on both sides. These have broken during operation. I hope this review helps someone choose carefully when purchasing a dishwasher, and avoid the headache that we have been dealing with.

Purchased this dishwasher in March 2013, within 6 months the heavy light sensor starts flashing, and the dishwasher stopped working. I called Samsung immediately and a technician was scheduled to visit on Oct 22, 2013. The morning of the appointment, I called A&E the company that was scheduled to get a window for repair. I was told Samsung cancelled my appointment, I got back on the phone with Samsung. The customer service department states they never cancelled it, but they could reschedule, wish they did for Oct 28. When this day arrived the dishwasher had reset itself, due to the water leakage had time to dry under the dishwasher. The Tech said there was nothing he could do and DID not even pull the dishwasher out to check for leakage. He stated maybe it is the circuit board, and used that as an excuse, so I wouldnt LOOK crazy! March of 2014 same issues started again. On the phone again with Samsung, they state sorry no warranty left. Really, by 3 days. So after disputing this argument, they scheduled another tech to return with the same original company A & E. When this tech arrived he states a leakage and possible tub issues, sump assembly issue. They could definitely see and feel water, but could not exactly determine where it was coming from. They tech ordered a sump pump and returned to replace that part on March 25,2014. Now here it is July 2014 with the same issues, and Samsung would not send out a technician unless I would agree to pay the service call. I told them this was unacceptable, because this is an ongoing issues since purchase in March 2013.They would not give in. I finally agreed to pay a service call only just to get the repairs done so I could hopefully be free of this nightmare. March 23 2014, the tech arrived and diagnosed the dishwasher and knew immediately that it was a manufacturer defect that caused the actual tub itself to leak and is NOT repairable. A replacement would be recommended (stated on the final paperwork), and he relayed this information to Samsung through the Samsung Tech line. The technician issued me the return authorization number# to start the process. When originally starting the process, I thought I would be getting a replacement, but how convenient the dishwasher has no manufacturer defects, and this model no longer available. So not they put me under the BUY BACK PROGRAM which Is a program where they depreciate the original price you pay by a certain percentage depending on length of time you have had the dishwasher, however the warranty states printed in the owners manual - if any issues is a leakage in stainless steel door or tub it has lifetime warranty!

This refrigerator (Model RF263Teasesr) is 2 years old and nothing but problems. Water continually drips down door. Frost continually builds up in the twin cooling portion and within the icemaker. Nice looking fridge that cost $1600 and does not work. Never, never buy a Samsung fridge. Their help line is staffed by people who try to be polite but are of absolutely no help. To make matters worse, their warranty which supposedly covers defects in materials and workmanship one year and five years is irrelevant. The only way to determine on the extreme off chance something is covered is if a Samsung approved repair person services it. Samsung DW80H9930US Dishwasher. When I bought my dishwasher from Lowes two years ago, this was the Most Expensive one at that moment. After I used it for a while, it stopped working. So, I contacted Samsung and asked for the fix. I paid for it and it fixed. In my second year, one day, when I had the small kid walking around, I suddenly noticed that inside the my dishwasher got the mold so badly. I thought it might be because we used it for a while. After I tried to clean everything including the shelf itself. I thought the clean is done and everything will be good again. However, it seems that the mold is NEVER gone away. We cleaned and cleaned. After we really tired of cleaning the dishwasher, I called the customer service and the Samsung Dishwasher manager, Jack **, told me that that is the Maintenance issue. Then I asked, after I PAY for the maintenance, if the mold will go away. He said he cannot guarantee it because it is always maintenance issues. So basically saying, when we buy a dishwasher from Samsung, we have to ensure that we need to pay Maintenance fee for it or they recommended to open the dishwasher Door after the cycle is done for a hour. I did not know when I bought the dishwasher, I need to wake up at 3 in the morning to open the door for my little doggy in order to let the moisture out. Of course, they never committed that is the design defect of their machine. I am wondering if any of family members who has the dishwasher and has the mold issue should work together to sue the company as the mold is the one of most recognized factors causing Cancer. I bought so many Samsung applications when I bought my very first house but I guess it is the goodbye information to you.

OMG, Samsung refrigerators are totally worthless. We have had so many problems and service calls with our new Samsung fridge. Talk about, sounds like an airplane? Yes, it has something to do with the air circulation fan behind the thermostatically controlled shelf. The noise starts as a humming and moves on to a machine gun, hard click about once every half second. It started when the machine was new and happened 3 more times. The 1st and 2nd time we had it repaired. Today we are hauling away this nearly new machine. We loved this machine when we were shopping for a new fridge. We got this one because it had a dual compressor and a special thermostatically controlled drawer. Love and joy ended real fast because those are things that broke first. (We are 2 old people and we hardly go into the refrigerator -- so you cant blame any problems on kids and abusive overuse.) We hear our problem this week is a broken diverter -- will only be a mere $750 to fix. Right now our shiny, stainless unit is sitting on the sidewalk. Our fabulous new fridge from Home Depot is a top of the line LG for several hundred $ less than $2000 -- LG getting about 5 stars from reviews. Now that Im looking at general reviews about Samsung, everything they make seems to be horrible. How could that be?! We used to buy a ton of Samsung stuff -- not anymore. There are so many little, bad issues with this fridge and I see nearly 1500 complaints (a lot of them from 2015!). All I can say is -- get an LG from Costco or Home Depot -- they seemed to have the best price, haul away fee, etc.

I tried resetting it by plugging and unplugging, holding down buttons, unplugging and plugging back in keypad. Nothing worked. I still got the SE code. Finally, I cleaned the ribbon connector with rubbing alcohol. This fixed it for about 5 minutes, then it started doing it again. I guess I need to either replace the keypad or the whole microwave. Its an SMH9187W, manufactured in Sept 2010. It was in use for 14 months, 2-3 times a week of light duty (warming up leftovers). Very disappointing that a seemingly nice, high-end product would fail so quickly. I have owned many microwaves and have never ever had a microwave fail - even old free ones that were given to me. The problem with replacing the keypad is that you will be lucky to get a year and a half out of it, as we know from experience. Perhaps I could trade it for a different brand at a used appliance store. I think any other brand would be better because out of the probably 10 different microwaves Ive used and owned over the years, Ive never ever seen one fail.

After almost 40 minutes they said the part would be shipped. On July 2, I called and again there was an issue understanding the reason why they did not ship the part. Again, after another 40 minute conversation trying to clarify what part I needed he assured me he understood and will ship the part. It finally came July 11. Guess what? WRONG PART. Sent me the drawer and not the flap! So, I call again. After 10 minutes of listening and not understanding the woman on the other end, I asked to talk to someone who spoke better English. After 10 minutes on hold, a supervisor (not speaking any better English) told me this part was not covered under the warranty to be shipped and that only a technician could order it; technician NOT covered under the warranty. At least, this is what I understood of the broken conversation. I will do my best to make sure that any major appliance purchased in the future will be made or serviced by the United States such as I have been trying to do with the things I purchase now.

Omg, how I wish I had read the Consumer Affairs reviews before I bought my Samsung range. Consumer Reports DID not give it a bad review. I purchased all new appliances for my retirement home and price didnt matter. Love my Sears Elite Refrigerator and my Bosch dishwasher. However, I cannot say anything good about the Samsung slide-in electric glass cooktop! The glass top has several scratches beginning the first time I used it. It was installed the second week of March 2018 but wasn’t used until April because I was in Florida. This is my fourth cooktop. First was a Corning, second and third were General Electric. After using it for only two and one-half months I cannot believe the condition of the cooktop. The booklet says not to slide pans. I try not to, but of course you will slide a pan occasionally. I use the same cookware that I used on the others. I never had one scratch on any of my other three cooktops. Every time I use it I’m a nervous wreck worrying about scratching it. There is no reason to get another top because I do not want another Samsung. This is a very expensive mistake! And, I will be replacing it. I feel sorry for those who are stuck with their Samsungs because they can’t afford to replace them. Samsung ought to stick with televisions. I sure hope there is or will be a class action lawsuit. Extremely dissatisfied with Samsung range and it will be a relief to get rid of it!
