I love how quiet my Bosch dishwasher is. This is my second one. I had one in a previous house. The only thing I am disappointed about is that the rinse agent seems to stay on my glasses. If I opt not to put rinse agent in my dishwasher a light stay illuminated.

Purchased new Bosch 800 Series dishwasher (Model #SHE68T55YC/01) on 7/26/13, replacing 15-year-old Bosch dishwasher. Now, the lettering on the fascia panel is coming off--DELAY gone completely--out of warranty according to Bosch Customer Service. New fascia panel cost $73.00 plus cost of technician to come out to replace (which the rep neglected to tell me after taking all my info. I just happened to ask before hanging up.) Ridiculous. A little tacky but I have used a permanent marker to mark controls.

Put dishes in dirty and they come out perfectly clean – no little Klingon bits... Various load sizes to choose from, hard water salt container, utensil tray on top shelf for cutlery. 3 levels top for cutlery, middle for glasses and cups, bottom for dishes and pans. Stainless steel with controls hidden on top of door but a progress display just above handle. Bosch makes various dishwashers. Make sure you buy the model that is BUILT IN GERMANY.

DO NOT BUY BOSCH APPLIANCES. Lousy quality, terrible, unethical and helpless customer service, supervision and management policies. I currently own several thousand dollars of expensive Bosch appliances that are in my judgement and based on experience, poorly designed, poorly engineered, poorly fabricated with deficient materials & components and assembled with lousy craftsmanship Poorly made products indeed, contrary to other high quality Bosch tools, equipment and electronic components used in German made cars. The microwave oven [HMB5050/01] is sitting there for more than six months waiting for Bosch to authorize me to take it to a local dealer at no charge for their required service inspection. It is unacceptable, unreasonable and unethical that the microwave oven is totally useless after only a year+ and should have to be replaced under warranty even if it had expired a few months prior. Now, for whatever reason the SS refrigerator doors are rusting!!! badly [B26FT70SNS/04]. It is unreasonable and unacceptable for any 300 series quality ASME SS to rust in this day and age, it is terrible that your customer service rep argued on the 10 yr warranty first that it was the cleaning product we use [none-my wife will not use any chemicals] and then that warranty only covers rusted perforations!!! I understand manufacturing quality problems that escape inspection or lousy purchasing specifications for defective austenitic steels [industry wide problem] but expect for the manufacturer as reputable as Bosch [was] to back its products ethically and accordingly to the nameplate they carry. The ice maker doesnt work, the shelving pops out, and it cracks easily. The dishwasher’s [800 SERIES SHE68R55UC] text by the buttons has faded away and sometimes it doesn’t dry completely and to top it all, I did not get my full $1500 rebate from Bosch when I purchased all the appliances under a ridiculous excuse on some of the appliances [“we don’t recognize the serial numbers”]. Reading throughout the enormous quantity of negative internet posts it looks like this should be a recall issue. I was hopeful that Bosch would come through as you all have with other customers but they didn’t. Their policies are not applied in a consistent manner; A reviewer at Amazon said I was very pleased that Bosh arranged to have my microwave fixed, even though it was 3 years out of warranty. I encourage anyone with similar problems to contact them rather than rant and rave about the problem, give them a chance to make it right.” Well, not to me regrettably.

We bought our dishwasher because we had a Bosch and loved it. It was too costly to repair. One week into having this dishwasher, the door became heavy. We called for repair and they said the string broke (yes, the string). How could you make a dishwasher using string? When I tell people, they laugh but I dont think its funny. We are getting another one just like this one but luckily we bought the contract so I guess they will be out once a month to replace the string. Couldnt you think of something more substantial than string?

Was remodeling my kitchen and wanted to date my appliances. Did research and came up with Bosch as a number one brand. It is not. You know the commercial, if you have to rinse the dishes what does a dishwasher do? Well, that’s this dishwasher. It takes just over 2 hours to do a normal cycle and still I’m rewashing by hand. I thought it maybe the detergent I use so switched, nope. I wish I stayed with my OLD Maytag! I gave it 2 stars because it is very quiet. I wish I could change it, but not willing to be out $900 bucks.

I was traveling from MA and was in NYC helping my family member drive to have some tooth surgery done. During my down time went online and as I recently bought the Bosch washer, I wanted to see if there was a dryer out there. Fortunately there was, it was actually an open box at this location, I had a very good experience with the service at this location and also 5* on the product itself too. I went in and was greeting Denise, she was very helpful during the whole process and even allowed my to view the dryer in person in the bay before committing to the purchase. I really liked how quick she got me checked out and was super friendly. I have to give this store 5* for quick and friendly staff. Now back to the dryer. Wow, so nice, best dryer I’ve ever owned in my life. Extremely quite and piggyback ready the washer I just bought too. If you live in a small studio or apt, these are the absolute best washer/dryers you can get for cleaning g and silent operation. One and only drawback, 220v and the hefty type, definitely check your connections first, otherwise! Love it!!!

I was purchased washing machine Bosch 8 kg- fully automatic- front load (WAT24463IN) from Amazon in 14 April 19 and installed in 27 April 19. First, I start from installation, at the time of installation water inlet pipe connector to tap worth Rs. 350 charged by Bosch service eng. and water tap also changed. Machine installation delayed due to shortage of length of wire plug to attach electric board from machine, purchase 350 Rs extension box due to shortage of length in plug wire. During first usage outlet water washed away in whole room, due to shortage of water outlet pipe, again purchased 250 Rs additional pipe. After usage within 04 month on dated 17 Jul 19 the power control board of machine got worse (fuse) & machine stop working. Within 04-month machine got damaged & covered the same in warranty usage, means there is no guarantee of product after warranty period of 2 years. After asking to service eng. of Bosch he is telling you want to purchase stabilizer for same, again purchased stabilizer of Rs 4000 from Bosch service eng. The compatibility of product not good, after purchase again you want to pay extra more than 5000+ for other unnecessary things. After call to Amazon customer care for extended warranty they were telling within 90 days you want purchase extended warranty for product from booking date. It means they knows the product quality to aware for providing 90 days for extended warranty period, 2 years warranty for cover & after that usage of customer for profit. This is the asset for customer by investing 30 to 40 thousand, they played after 2 years by taking much more charges for part replacement & breakdowns, this is worst strategy of Bosch to deal with customers.

Freezer has been repaired 3 times. Ice maker has never worked properly. Already out nearly $500 in repairs. Now, rubber sealant around both freezer and refrigerator remain very warm to the touch. Freezer leaking on floor, and the freezer doesnt work at all. Lost all food stored inside. Called Bosch and local Recommended repair service companies, as we have before. No help on the weekend. No call back from Bosch. No effort to help. I WILL NEVER BUY ANY BOSCH PRODUCT. AND WILL WARN EVERYONE I KNOW NOT TO. GOING ON OTHER SITES NOW.

Because of good reviews we purchased our first Bosch. We were told how durable and outstanding they were. A one year warranty was given with the purchase. After 3 months we had problems with the control panel. Then the pump malfunctioned and a new pump was installed. Within this year we have had more water in the bottom and not pumping out. Called Bosch and they had their certified tech....hmmmm who made three appointments and never showed up. Then when he came it was for a whole five minutes to say we needed a new pump. Three weeks later he came and installed a new pump and was there a few minutes, never checking the complete cycle. It still doesnt drain out, so we called our own tech and he informs us that it is now a complete computer board. Oh we also have had to have our racks replaced as they rusted. Then the new racks dont match and dont have a track to stop the dishes from rolling out. We are through and have made a whole family pledge, never again a Bosch… dump Bosch from our lives and buy American who treats their customers with respect.

Bosch does not stand behind their products. Several of their dishwashers are being recalled for a bad control panel. It can go bad and catch on fire. My dishwasher was not in the recall. However, the part went bad. It had a burnt control panel. I contacted Bosch. Sent them pictures of the control panel, the burnt portion, etc. FIVE DAYS LATER Bosch e-mails me back. Apologizes for the delay, of course. Say they are sending a repair fella out to my house. FIVE DAYS AFTER they get my e-mail, they tell me this!!! I am a female who HATES to wash dishes! How long did Bosch think I would wait till I went and purchased another dishwasher or fixed the current one?Frankly I believe that was the whole point of WAITING FIVE DAYS BEFORE E-MAILING ME! Bosch says that since the repair was performed before their authorized service guy came to look at it, they would not pay for the part! I believe that was Boschs whole point!!! I will never purchase another Bosch product. Bosch is a dirty company that does their utmost to prevent having to fix their problems!

I purchased a Bosch washer, Model WFMC22OAUC in Feb. 2008 along with the dryer and petal stools. I did my homework and found this brand to be the most recommended by pretty much everyone, retailers and repairmen. The washer has now been repaired three times. The mold sticks to high heaven and, being farmers, I can honestly say one gallon of water doesnt bring out **. My whites are now gray. I was told I could wash three loads at once. I should have been told to wash one piece of clothing per load. I doubt that that one piece would be cleaned.

Bosch refrigerator problems. Bosch 800 Series B26FT70SNS /04 25.9 cu. ft. French Door Refrigerator has issues and failures. The first issue is the crushed ice maker. It does not crush all the ice as my old GE unit did (or any other brand I have ever used). The Bosch unit only breaks some ice cubes in half, others it only will chip a corner off and only a few seem to come out mostly crushed. The lack of ice crushing has been confirmed by Bosch as normal for this unit. If you like fully crushed ice and not almost complete ice cubes mixed in with it, I would not recommend this refrigerator. The next two problems are more serious. Firstly, after swapping out the ice maker with a new unit to try to solve what we now know to be an unsolvable problem, the new ice maker unit has failed completely; it no longer makes ice and of course it is now out of warranty. I wrote an e-mail to the Bosch representatives who helped me the first time with this problem however they did not respond to my e-mail. The second failure is much more critical. The refrigerator intermittently stops working! Occasionally, the Bosch Series B26FT70SNS stops getting cold! Thats all the darn thing needs to do and it fails doing it! Ill come home to a puddle of water on the floor, the food in the freezer is thawed out and the refrigerator is warm! After cycling the power by turning off the circuit breaker sometimes it will start working, and sometimes it starts again by itself. I lost food and had to clean up a mess.I wrote another e-mail to the Bosch representatives about the ice maker and cooling failure, but again they did not respond to either of my e-mails. Because the Bosch representatives have been unresponsive on these last two problems it tells me that they do not want to get involved with defective products or product problems.Because I went with all BOSCH products in my new kitchen (Double oven, cooktop, range hood, dishwasher, warming draw, refrigerator) I am now terrified as to which product may fail next and the difficulty in communicating with factory representatives. I regret my decision of selecting all BOSCH appliances. As of this posting I have not heard back from Bosh.Based on my experience with multiple failures of my Bosch 800 Series B26FT70SNS /04 25.9 cu. ft. French Door refrigerator I cannot recommend purchasing this unit.

Tenants did not realize that water dispenser was not functioning well as they never use it before. As a landlord, I was not able to visit during the pandemic till October. I found out that the water is not running from dispenser plus ice are not producing. I contacted Bosch warranty department which took at least 1 hrs to speak. They sent technician in November and End of December. The Fridge is still not working. The valve in the back of the fridge has be to replaced. Im very upset and frustrating due to slow response. When I called Bosch, the customer service informed me that they have closed the issue and that they are done. No suggestions or offers to correct the issue and no apology for their delays. Bosch 800 slide in electric range.. 5 burner. There is a major flaw with the self-cleaning feature. After two hours of the four hour cleaning cycle, an error code, E302, appears on the panel. This has happened both times the oven has been cleaned. The instructions from Bosch Help Line (nothing in the manual regarding this problem) are to turn off the electrical breaker when the error message appears for ten to thirty minutes (depending on the representative you are talking with), then turn the breaker back on. The oven will then complete the cleaning process (hopefully). Why would you have to turn the breaker off each time you clean the oven? This range cost $1799.10 + tax. A range this expensive should clean properly.

Our four year old dishwasher was issued a recall as some of the plugs were catching on fire. I did as instructed on the recall notice and an authorized repairman came to the house. He said he couldnt get the dishwasher out without damaging our floors and left. I let Bosch know and they suggested that we get a quote to have the granite countertops removed, so that the repairman could get in. I asked for another dealer but they didnt want another repairman. I called our contractor to remove the dishwasher and the repairman came back to change the plug but refused to put back the dishwasher. The contractor came back to re-install the dishwasher and the dishwasher top rack and sprayer were now broken. Bosch got the fire hazard fixed so they are off the hook for that, but I am left with a broken dishwasher and their so called customer service wont respond. Now, I am forced to replace the dishwasher when I as the customer have done nothing wrong. Bosch cares about avoiding a lawsuit, but could give a whit about the customers experience. The company sure does not have the customers back. This whole process has taken weeks and I am completely frustrated.

The first dishwasher had burnt up the wires inside washer as well as outside connections. It took a lot of calls for them to agree to replace the first unit. I had read on line that it had happened to others. After second dishwasher was installed on 1/9/09, my wife and I saw that our model number was a recall to possible electrical fires. For about two years, we received letters in the mail of this recall. Fast forward to late August up to early September, the second dishwasher is not working right. Bosch agreed to pay for a tech to diagnose and concluded that the heater assy shut as well as the main PCB, whatever that is. Repair is estimated at $450 to $500 on an almost four year old dishwasher. Bosch said that I am out of luck because warranty is over and that the second dishwasher was a goodwill case, even though the first dishwasher was a recall as a fire hazard. Oh and by the way, it is just my wife and I, so we dont use our dishwasher like a big family does.

The insurance company will take care of the kitchen damage, but will not replace the dishwasher. The dishwasher replacement is completely our responsibility. When I called Bosch to see if they would at the very least give me a partial credit toward the purchase of a new Bosch I was told by Representative Kayla, and not very sympathetically, that since I didnt have any paperwork on the original purchase they would not do anything for me. I purchased a dishwasher from Sears about three years ago. It worked well for a few months, then began shutting off after a few minutes. It worked sometimes and sometimes not. I contacted Bosch who said they needed the original receipt. I always keep my receipts but of course.... So Sears printed me up a copy with all of the information on it. Of course Bosch would not accept this receipt as proof of purchase. I had spoken with someone from Bosch several times both by phone and email. They told me who to contact to repair. No one would return my calls or even want to travel to repair this expensive dish drainer. I even contacted people who repaired appliances and when I said Bosch - they didnt want to work on it. Of course last week I found the original receipt, and since I know they didnt care then, they wouldnt now - I am sure. I thought it was good to try to keep your customers happy, but I guess they dont mind bad product reviews. I will never purchase a Bosch again. You would think they would read these reviews and do what they could to change peoples minds. Good customer service goes a long way.

We love our Bosch Dishwasher and will buy another one when we move (even though the new house comes with a brand new one). We especially like the 9 minute rinse cycle we can use if the load isnt full. We also like the third rack for spatulas, though that rack doesnt always get cleaned well. Its also extremely quiet. We only wish there was a light to say it was clean vs just rinsed.

I have had several problems with my freezer since I bought it. I have sent it to service several times. Its parts have changed several times. But after 2-3 months, we are in the beginning. When they last came to service, they said it is a flaw and its guarantee ended and they wanted 450 YTL to give me a new one. I didnt give it. I couldnt trust because I have given money for the repair several times. It doesnt work and I cant eat anything at home. Please give attention to my problem and give me a new one as soon as possible.

I bought this dishwasher based on customer reviews. I like the washing performance of this dishwasher, and the lighted controls…especially that it tells me how many minutes are left on the chosen cycle and when it is finished. It is also very quiet. There is one thing that frustrates me and that is the design of the lower rack. The tines are placed so that it can accommodate 12 place settings (according to the instruction manual). Few, if any, people have need for this on a daily basis. What is needed for families is capacity for place settings combined with serving bowls, mixing bowls, and cooking utensils. However, the tines are positioned so that this is very difficult and requires running the dishwasher more frequently or doing more hand washing. (My previous dishwasher was much more accommodating of a variety of dishes and pans.)I wrote a letter to the manufacturer with my concerns and asked if there is an alternative bottom rack. I got a callback but was unavailable. The message was that they would call back. Never happened. I called the number in the instruction book twice, each time the representative said she would have another person call me back...never happened. I thought Bosch was a top of the line brand and expected better service than this. At this point I would never recommend this brand to anyone. Model SHEM63W56N/13.

We purchased this Bosch model brand new about 2.5 years ago. We noticed intermittent cooling problems even during the first summer of use when it was hot outside but they were intermittent and therefore impossible to diagnose. At the end of this June the freezer compartment went up to 40 degs (it was 12 hours before we noticed it because the system did not alarm as it was supposedly designed to do). A repairman diagnosed the problem as a slow low side leak requiring $1200 to repair (not including the diagnosis which was another $250). Considering its short life span, it seems to be highly likely that this was a defective refrigerator at purchase time. Technically it is 6 months out of mechanical warranty by calendar days if you compute time from purchase to complete failure. However, anyone taking an honest look at this situation would conclude that the problem causing this failure started during the warranty period and Bosch should take responsibility for repairing it. As this problem seems to be posted fairly frequently I think it should be the subject of a legal action against Bosch. At the very least I advise anyone reading it to do a frequency search for this complaint and re-think the BOSCH purchase in lieu of a more reliable product.

During shifting of house I moved all my household items along with Bosch front loaded 7.5kg washing machine that I purchased just 6 months ago. During re-installation I was told the its motor has come off the drum and it will cost 7500 INR to replace it.. I had warranty but Bosch representative said this item is not under warranty. Also the way Mr ** the service person from Powai Mumbai reacted was terribly upsetting. He kept on saying, You should read the terms and conditions in the manual. I will never buy any Bosch product ever and I would strongly advocate for not purchasing Bosch products to everyone..

We had ordered three appliances from Bosch all of which were the black stainless 800 series (the gas range, refrigerator & dishwasher). Both the refrigerator and the range came had a problem. The refrigerator has such a heavy lean on our level floors that even the adjustable legs couldn’t extend down 2” to make it level. We had called Bosch and as requested had a third party arranged by Bosch to inspect, which concluded that it needed to be replaced. We then waited 2 months for customer service to produce a code for reordering, during this time we did not have a fridge. We spoke to numerous customer service reps. At which point had an urgent request of the manager(who was the one responsible to place the reorder code on the product) but the manager could not return this request until 2 months later. The customer service reps. Would tell you one thing then another completely opposite until I had recorded it so that the rep could listen to what was said. Once the new item arrived, upon delivery they noticed that the doors were all finished in different finishes. The bottom freezer door was a different finish then the upper doors and the handles were different from the upper and lower doors.(Quality inspection?) So naturally they needed to replace all the doors off of the unit. These two refrigerator somehow passed quality inspection?!? And it was not just that item, our range had arrived with a bronze coloured vent piece that completely didn’t match their black stainless steel and the rep. Had agreed that they don’t know why it was like that...When I told them of this and they asked for the item info on the inside of the unit (with the rep on the phone) I opened the oven door to find a large 8” piece of bent metal with insulation exposed in the interior of our “quality inspected” range! The third party had to write an inspection report on this too even though it was clear as day that this was a safety issue/ and that this item clearly was not inspected. This item as well took 2 months for replacement., it too fell on the shoulders of customer service manager who could not produce a reorder code until 2 months later. And we did not have our range or refrigerator at this time seeing as their customer service team reassured me on 4 separate times that it would be 5-7 days for processing.I would never wish upon anyone to have to go through what we did with Bosch. Months and months of phone calls, and no appliances for months, and how we have been treated. We thought we were buying quality products with a company that could offer customer service. This was not the case. Please do yourself a favour and buy from a company that you can trust. BOSCH is not that company. And No Bosch has not figured out why they have a bronze vent piece on their black stainless steel range and the replacement range arrived with the same bronze vent piece. But at least the insulation was not visible this time. Buy quality inspected appliance from anyone but Bosch!

While I purchased my Bosch electric range in September of 2014 and am out of warranty, I had expected a better experience when the inner glass door shattered during the self-cleaning cycle, especially as I rarely use the oven and this was only the 3rd time I used the self-clean feature. When I called Bosch, the agent I spoke with seemed to agree with me that there must be a defect of some kind for this to happen, and she made an appointment for a technician to assess the issue at no charge to me. I may have been somewhat naive, but I was led to believe that Bosch would likely review the issue and not charge me for the repair as the damage clearly occurred due to a defect in the appliance and through no fault of mine. The technician they sent was awesome, arrived on time, assessed the problem and told me he would order the glass. As I didnt hear back from Bosch, I assumed that the agent had brought my issue to the attention of her supervisor and, since I didnt hear back, assumed there would be no charge to me. Well the technician is in my kitchen repairing my oven door and asked if Id heard from Bosch as to the charge. When I advised I hadnt, he suggested I call. I was shocked to find out that no one had made an effort to send my issue up their chain of command, nor was I able to speak with a supervisor as there was none available. The best they would offer, as the technician was already doing the repair job, was a 20% discount off the replacement glass.I also had an issue with my Bosch microwave one month out of warranty when the turntable motor stopped working. I was told I would have to pay not only for the replacement piece, but for the technicians visit, but I wasnt told that until the repair guy showed up at my door and told me that I would be seeing lots of him because they dont make appliances the way they used to. I sent him away on principle and hired an appliance repair guy to do the job - it wasnt cheaper but I couldnt get past the guys attitude.Had I known I would also be charged to repair a defective appliance, I would probably have hired the same appliance repair guy to do the job. The only thing that made this experience less horrible was the technician they sent - he was prompt, efficient and clearly knew what he was doing. I bought Bosch Appliances because everything I read indicated they were absolutely top of the line. I am severely disappointed in the product and their poor customer service problem resolution.

I purchased a Bosch dishwasher model SHE45M05UC that was delivered in Augus
I purchased a Bosch dishwasher model SHE45M05UC that was delivered in August 2009 from Freidmans Appliance in Pleasant Hill, CA. I had my last dishwasher, a Whirlpool for over 20 years without a single problem. Freidmans told me they were out of stock of the model that I originally ordered and substituted in the SHE45M05UC. I ordered the model just below this one. I noticed after I began using it that the rack continually got stuck even when I pushed it in very carefully. This caused many of my dishes to break when they clashed against each other as the rack jammed. I have a stack of cracked and chipped dishes, and have suffered a lot of damages. Freidmans did nothing to help me when I reported it to them. I didnt live in my house or use the dishwasher in 2010, I am the only one who uses it and I only run it about once a week or so. I also reported the problem to Purcell Murrays showroom in Brisbane and talked directly to one of the owners about it and he failed to replace the dishwasher. About a month ago towards the end of June, all of a sudden a huge amount of suds came poring out of the dishwasher as it was running. When I opened the dishwasher it was full of suds and full of water at the bottom of the dishwasher. I called Freidmans and spoke to Shannon who told me she would call Bosch service center to see what could be done and she would call me the following day. She never called me. I left several messages for her yet she failed to return my calls. I recall back in 2009 when I talked to Steve, the man who sold me the faulty dishwasher - he never would return my calls and he refused to exchange the dishwasher when I reported the fault with the rack that always sticks. I went into Freidmans yesterday to follow up because Shannon had failed to call me as she said she would and had not returned my calls. The salesman Steve had a little smile on his face as I discussed the issue with Shannon. Shannon again said shed call me the next day which was Monday, yet she didnt call the next day. Today I called for Mathew **, the store manager, just as I did back in 2009. Mathew does not ever return calls. I was told by Shannon that Mathew would call me in a few minutes and now one hour later he has not called me. I called a couple of times asking for Mathew and he would not come to the phone. I have used the dishwasher no more than 200 times in the past years and most of the time it is only half full and I run it on light. Now it does not work at all!! You dont want to do business with Freidmans in Pleasant Hill, CA and definitely dont want to purchase Bosch appliances. I know there is a class action lawsuit against Bosch for their washer dryers and I bet there are enough consumers with dishwasher problems to support a suit for the dishwasher defects. Bosch does not support or stand behind their products and Freidmans doesnt either. In fact I have never experienced such inconsideration for customers as I have at Freidmans. They are just about making a fast buck and could care less if their customer is ripped off. What do you say?

We own a Wall oven and microwave combo - HBLP751UC. The oven part over the years would just freeze that is none of the controls would work till the breaker was switched on and off. Now the microwave switches are broken and parts are not available for 2-3 weeks or longer. So the whole unit is out of action for that long. When purchasing I should have done my due diligence and checked but these are made in China and I was hoping for German reliability. I could have done much better at a cheaper price. Now I am stuck with this without service from Bosch. When I asked Bosch for service they said they do not have service people in my area and to use someone in the market who is certified. Check if they have service in your area before purchase and also buy a warranty for sure. Sorry I do not have anything positive to say about Bosch appliances.

I love my new very quiet Bosch dishwasher, but since I bought the lowest priced model I thought that was why I wasnt getting the best clean glasses and dishes. I contacted Bosch and they sent out a local repair guy. He discovered that water had been pooling under my dishwasher which could have been very damaging to my home. He ordered a complete replacement from Bosch. That was almost a month ago, and since then I have had to initiate all phone calls to see when my new dishwasher will come. Yesterday I spoke with a supervisor who was very condescending and with a sickly sweet tone told me it will be at least another 10 days before any action is taken because that is just their process, and then she cut off the conversation. I dont really know if I will get the new dishwasher after the way she abruptly cut me off.

We replaced our 20 yr old Maytag with a Bosch... it arrived the first week of Jan. 2015. I never liked how my dishes fit in it.... glasses tipped over and it was hard to fit in mugs and bowls. I noticed that there was an orange greasy residue near the door hinge after each cycle. I made it a practice to clean that area every time I emptied the machine. We used the Finish Powerballs and rinse agent. Our water heater is new and the water is very hot. Then I noticed a smell when drinking from a glass. This morning there was an odor from the machine when I went to empty it... nothing in the filter... Smelled like a wet dog. Returning machine.

I am surprised by the negative reviews here. I have owned this dryer for over a year and my experience has been very positive. Coming from a conventional, vented gas dryer, I expected long, slow drying times but did not get this at all. We changed from large, conventional washer and dryer to the European-sized models so we don't cram every possible piece of dirty clothes into one load. I typically run 4-5 smaller loads per week: dark, light, white, towels and jeans, and dress shirts. This dryer does a great job of drying all these clothes types, especially if you take advantage of the special settings. For me, the key is to remove clothes immediately at the end of the cycle. This is true of all dryers, IMO, but especially with this one. It *does* leave a small amount of residual moisture in the clothing, depending on setting. If you pull clothes out while they're warm, then fold or hang immediately, almost all the wrinkles disappear without ironing. If I have one complaint, it's that the dryer only rotates one direction. This means very large items (california king sheets, for instance) can get tangled and not dry evenly. There is one MAJOR advantage to this dryer. Living in a drought-prone area, I put the drain hose into a bucket and recover one to two gallons of water from each load that I use to irrigate my garden. Clean clothes, happy tomatoes. What's not to love?

We purchased a Bosch washing machine a few years ago and noticed that mold grows on the inside of the rubber gasket. We later found out that there is a class action suit for this machine. I called Bosch and scheduled an appointment and the man called in sick and did not show up. I took a day off from work for this repair and they let me know 20 minutes before he was scheduled to arrive. I told them that the next time if they do not give me sufficient notice I would send them a bill. I also told them since they were scheduling me for another day, that meant they were agreeing to my terms. The second time I took a day off they called and told me that the man did not have the part with him. I told them that I was sending them a bill and the woman told me that they do not reimburse people.

Were a family of 5 and two are top athletes (i.e: eat a lot etc...) and one issue I cant remember exactly what it was about but must have been minor. Tray design would need fine tuning as they are a bit awkward to fill but, yup its been loaded tightly and then we dont expect miracles. No amount of bleach, vinegar, or scrubbing will remove the mold from the rubber seal. And I leave the door open between washes. I purchased a Bosch Dishwasher (i.e. total cost $$857.98) which was installed in Dec 2017. About 3 weeks ago I was receiving error messages as well as the machine skipping cycles and stopped. Given that one of the error messages was E24 the Bosch authorized repairer wanted to order a pump for the machine to save me from minimizing the number of trips he would need to be made. May I add the service charge would have been $180, labor and parts extra given that the pump was outside of the warranty. After ordering the pump, I receive a message that the pump is in. But of course it was the wrong pump. I will not bore you with the details of the story but after a lengthy conversation, I told this company to NOT come at all and will find another Bosch authorized dealer. Well, I did, he promised to come, waited for him and he never showed up, did not call even though I left several voice mails, etc. Bosch kept saying we need a diagnosis but it sure is difficult if there own people do not show up as promised or have excuses about the wrong pump being ordered, etc.I provided all the detailed information that Bosch wanted. This evening I received an email from them telling me a decision had been. I doubt if this case was escalated to management as I requested. I called Bosch (25 minute wait) to find out what the decision would be given that they emailed me and said decisions cannot be provided by email or voicemail. The Bosch rep said they were going to do a big favor and as a 1-time courtesy provide the parts but I still would be responsible for the service call and labor. BTW, the issue in all likelihood is a control panel which has a 5-year warranty. Or in other words they did nothing except to ensure that I will never purchase a Bosch appliance again. If there would have been a pump issue the retail price is $30.05. Such an offer from Bosch. Bosch service providers are few and far between. And from my experience they are totally incompetent. Bosch sold me a lemon of a dishwasher and has failed to provide any type of concern for their customer.

Purchased the Bosch Dishwasher SilencePlus 44 dBA model during a full kitchen remodel. After using the dishwasher for 30-days, it was returned in exchange for a Kitchen Aid model. Chief complaint (for us) is the dishwasher remains wet inside after washing dishes and never dries out. Dishes remain damp and not fully dry. Tired of leaving the door open overnight to let the dishwasher dry. During the time we had it, because of the inside not drying, a musty odor is becoming noticeable. With this wet condition and closed, we are concern about it developing mold. Absolutely would not recommend this model or manufacturer. In speaking to the appliance representative where the dishwasher was purchased, the rep indicated that this remaining wet issue about Bosch dishwashers is very common and others have voiced the same complaint.

I bought my 800 series Bosch dishwasher a year and a half ago and while there were some bumps because I bought a used one from the Sears Discount Center the representatives were very prompt about repairing and then replacing my defective machine. Now that I have a functioning dishwasher it is not only my very favorite appliance of my house, it is one of my most beloved possessions. There are 10 people in my family and we are able to stack in a huge amount of dishes because the spacing of the racks are so well designed and the additional 3rd rack is able to accommodate all of the silverware. I have never had such clean dishes with so little pre-cleansing before I put the dishes in. There are times that still needs servicing due to the hard water in Arizona but once it is cleaned I am once again left with immaculately clean dishes every time, including my Bosch mixer which I can put in encrusted with dried bread dough and pots and pans. I am very disappointed to hear all of these awful reviews when truly it is the best appliance I have ever owned. All of my friends who have Bosch dishwashers feel the same way I do. I purchased a Bosch dishwasher in February of 2012. There was a horrible odor from the dishwasher. I called their customer service and was told service repair will be done under warranty. The first appliance company came out and replaced a sensor. I was hoping that would elevate the problem. But no, the odor still emanated from the dishwasher - so foul my daughter refused to empty it. So I called again; this time using a different service company. They came out and said there was nothing wrong, and to use the Quantum detergent (which I was already doing, but Bosh customer service told me to use the powder). So needless to say, they left and did nothing. I called Bosh yet again and they told me to have it serviced. I called the same company (that was just there and said nothing was wrong) to come out yet again. This time they found the heat sensor was bad. So they came out to replace it, only to tell me they could not get this dishwasher out. I would have to call the installer. I called the installer to come out. They had no problem getting it out and charging me $170.00 to do so. My concern is that this heating element is not the real issue and I will have to have it reinstalled, pay more money and still have the horrific odor coming from the dishwasher. When I called Bosh and explained my plight, and all the time I missed from work, they said, You need to have at least 3 services done on it before we do anything. I truly dont think the heating element is going to solve the issue. Two separate components went bad and the dishwasher isnt even a year old. Isnt there some lemon law? I am frustrated beyond frustrated! Has anyone else had these issues with Bosch? If so, class action could be applied.

I would NEVER recommend a Bosch dishwasher to anyone. I bought the top of the line based on previous reliability of Bosch products. What I never expected was that they would REFUSE to stand behind their warranty. My dishwasher has completed less than 100 loads in total - or about $30 a load. Not even close to value for money in my opinion. It started leaking and triggering the dreaded E:15 within 5 months of install. When a pinhole leak was discovered in the machine the certified repair tech told us he had never seen this and it was clearly a manufacturing defect. Bosch, decided not to look at it and refused to honour the warranty. Now I guess we get to work with consumer affairs. I am happy to share photos for all to see.

Bosch nexxt 500 plus series washer and dryer - I have had issues with balance of washer. Goes into convulsions and does not spin water at times and does not dispense enough water at other times. It really is a 50/50 chance of whether it will work appropriately. The Matching series dryer sometimes becomes so hot it burns your skin when touching clothes! Bottom line, POOR CRAFTSMANSHIP AND POOR PERFORMANCE! DO NOT BUY BOSCH.

I purchased a Bosch cook top, oven and microwave a couple of years back. Had nothing but trouble. The first year had 3 calls on the oven. Now since January Ive had 3 calls on the microwave. Ive been without a microwave for 1 month now. Those who have a microwave will understand how inconvenient this is. Ive never had a problem with appliances in the past. The latest update: theyre waiting for parts to arrive from Germany. Buy LG, GE, Sears, whatever, that has a stock of parts in this country. You wont be sorry you did. Bosch is a piece of crap! And... you pay more for it.

Worst dishwasher weve ever had - does not hold many dishes as the racks are tiny. Forget about putting bowls in the lower rack, if you do you cant add plates as they bump up against each other. The lower rack falls off the track if the bottom rack is fully loaded and then you have to pick it up and try to get it back on track. The SMELL - OMG, since day one we have removed the strainer in the bottom, rinsed it and allowed it to dry in between washings - noticed an inch of water in the well at the bottom - which adds to the smell. Called repair and they simply state, Thats the design. Well let me tell you the design sucks!Never in my many, many years of owning dishwashers have I EVER dealt with a smell like this. It is embarrassing when you have company and open it as the entire kitchen ends up smelling like a TRASH HEAP! So now we buy deodorizers to keep the smell at bay, and rinse agent to help the dishwasher do its job, and detergent, and dishwasher cleaner, 4 products - unreal. Who knows maybe they are in cahoots with the manufacturers of these products (or who knows maybe they are the ones who make them - because their dishwasher SUCKS! Did I say that already?).

I purchased a Bosch front loader washer about a year-and-a-half ago. Since then I have had a service technician at my house no less than 7X and I have also replaced a part on my own. The part I replaced which was shipped from the Bosch company was deemed faulty by the technician that came to re-replace the part. I have had several parts fail on this machine. I am extremely displeased with the companys lack of concern, accountability and action in this matter. Even as I write this review I am listening to the lock on my washer click in and out. Hopefully it will land on unlock and I can get my clothing from it.

Bosch 1000 rpm 6kg 15 Prog Classixx. I like Bosch products because they last well. Theyre expensive to buy, compared with other brands, but cheaper in the long run (and therefore also better environmentally). The reviews for this product were good as well, which is always a big factor for me. I wanted a general purpose model, which is why I chose this one. I didnt need anything special as I dont do any specialist washing (very dirty or extra large items, for example). Ive had this washing machine since October 2004. I dont know whether or not this model of the Bosch washing machine range still exists, but I would recommend it simply because the machine has always performed well and washed satisfactorily, its about average cost to run (slightly better than that, actually) and its never broken down in the eleven plus years Ive had it.

I am contractor, build new homes for sale. Have been building and selling new homes for the past 15 years. I have never had such a horrible experience like the one I had with this company. The new stove for the new house I sold to a homeowner does not work and have been trying to get the company to send someone to fix it for the past 3 days. They have given me 5 different telephone numbers for someone to come and take a look it. Each of them will tell me, I do not know why they gave you their number for they only service what is bought from their store. The bottom line is - stay away from any appliance with name BOSCH on it. Their appliance and customer service is the worst you can think.

Bosch 800 44-Decibel Top Control 24-in Built-In Dishwasher. This is my first Bosch dishwasher. It is Super quiet, you know its running due to the led light that signs on the floor. It seems to clean very well. We use the cascade platinum pods and rinse aid on auto wash. All works fine. The annoying stuff, the power cord is like 8 long so you will have to replace the cord with a six footer unless your outlet is directly behind the unit on lower right hand corner. Salt for the water softener will have to be ordered online and shipped to you.

I contracted Apple Air to install a tankless hot water heater during a complete home renovation. The Bosch unit has had nothing but problems since we starting using it. Apple has had a technician here a dozen times and has tried replacing different parts and has had no success. The unit gets freezing cold and then scalding hot intermittently. Even the technician said he can see the codes that are appearing indicating the problem. I’ve been very patient thus far but am tired of being told “we’ll call you back” when they never do. Weeks go by and we hear nothing. It’s not right. At some point they need to admit that the unit is faulty and to either install a new one or issue me a refund because frankly I don’t want to do businesses with this company anymore. Please don’t make the mistake I made by getting schmoozed Apple Air and there salesman John **.

Particularly when fully loaded the bottom rack wont stay in the track and falls into the tub. We just had Abt Appliance out since the dishwasher is only a month old. Our experience with Bosch appliances has been mixed but disappointing. First, the first cooktop delivered during a remodel would not function as soon as installed. This resulted in a multi-week delay in the remodel. Next, the microwave failed within a year of installation and then again within another year. We have paid more than $300 in repairs so far. Finally, with regard to business, we were promised a substantial rebate if we installed 3 or more appliances. We installed 4 but have not yet received the rebate. We have been pestering the dealer repeatedly for about 2 years now with no satisfaction. I will never again purchase a Bosch product.

Stupidly we believed the hype about Bosch products. Dishwasher was too small for regular size dishes, who knew, Bosch dishwashers were built for the smaller European dishes. Washing cycles were hours in length, no such thing as a quick wash! Had to be replaced after 5 years with a Kitchen Aid which works fine. Front loading washer (supposedly top of the line) needs to be wiped down after each use, and propped open to prevent mold. Cant run spin cycle only when necessary. Would sure like that feature since the washer doesnt always get all the water out of the load. Plastic window cracked and came off the frame almost to the day after the warranty expired. The scotch tape looks so attractive holding the plastic window in place. And the dryer WOW what a poorly engineered appliance. The door fell off! Thank goodness for YouTube where my husband found instructions to order the door part and to repair the door. And, I just love cleaning the entire length of the filter after 2 or 3 loads because the filter and I use that term loosely doesnt filter. Lint, etc. gets stuck at entrance to the filter and also on the other side of the filter and BTW the filter needs to be washed about once a month because the filter screen gets covered with something. When we had the repairman out to repair the heating element I mentioned the filter problem and he said he heard that complaint a lot. Fix it! And thank you very much Ill decide when the clothes are dry not the dryer which 9 times out of 10 cases, the clothes arent dry and Ill decide if I want to use the wrinkle free function not the dryer which again is trying to prevent wrinkles in damp clothes. Hello, Bosch, you get wrinkles in damp clothes! Never again will we buy a Bosch product, they are the worse.

In the last 12 months, Ive bought a high end Bosch flexi-induction, series 8 oven and washing machine. The first two, I intentionally paid a premium for it as they are made in Germany while the washing machine made in Thailand. The branding has bring down not only tarnished her brand but to Germany as a world-class engineering country. Almost everyone knows top quality engineering comes from Germany like Porsche, BMW, Merc, Audi, Miele etc.Utterly disappointing with less than 12 months, there were multiple service calls on the new oven, induction and washing machine. It’s not a coincidence. Three products all have issues, be it German made or not. Almost all my white goods and big household items are Bosch. Going forward, I’ll just go for China or Korean brands that are significantly cheaper. Premium price doesn’t equate to quality and durability anymore especially with Bosch. I used to have Bosch dishwasher that lasted for years, now, quality of this brand has dropped significantly and I’ve changed to Miele instead. Bosch, seriously is hopeless. It will be another Nokia (market leader went collapsing) if it still doesn’t wake up.

We purchased a Bosch oven two years ago. It now does not work. We live 110 miles from the nearest authorized repair. Our local appliance repair person has charged us $200.00 to fix our unit by replacing items until the unit works. Now he does not call us. I talked with Bosch customer service and they advised me that I need to provide them with the receipts of when I purchased the oven. So I would need to go through my 2013 records to find the receipt, then they would pay for an appliance repair person to come out. I have already spent 4 hours dealing with this problem. Three years ago, I purchased a stackable washer and dryer for my condominium. Since I had limited space for these products, I chose Bosch. Now, the dryer stopped working so I call a repair service. $450.00 later, the unit still does not work. I called directly to Bosch to see what they could do about my problem. They sent a tech to review the problem and he diagnosed it as a failed control module. Bosch wanted me to pay for the service and the part which would have been another $300.00 or so. To total this cost so far ($750) if I replaced the part is not a good idea because I could get a new dryer for about $800.00. I feel that Bosch product is inferior and service is zero. As a small business owner, I think this is disgraceful. I stand behind my products and service and incur extra service costs when I have to. Even though it sometimes erases my profit on the job, I always take care of my customers. This is a big company and can well afford to take care of their customers in a proper manner.

Monday, November 06, 2017, I received by mail the Bosch Important Safety Recall Notice - Bosch Dishwashers letter regarding potential fire hazard. The dishwasher power cord can overheat and it was suggested to STOP using the appliance immediately if you have one of the affected models. I located my model and serial number and found that my dishwasher is affected by the 2017 recall expansion! I immediately went to the Bosch dishwasher recall registration Web page. Based on the information provided and my address, I received a list (only one agency name was listed) of authorized service agents that would inspect and repair my dishwasher at no charge, along with a reference number. So far, so good! On that very same day, I contacted the repair agency, gave them the information requested and was told they will order the part, and when the part is received they will call to schedule the repair appointment, and told me that it would probably be by the end of the week. By the end of the business week, Friday, November 10, 2017, they never called. On Tuesday, November 14, 2017, AGAIN I called Bosch authorized service agent to ask for update on repair request. I was told the power cord is now expected to arrive on Thursday, November 16, 2017, and the repair will be scheduled for Friday, November 17, 2017, between 8AM - 5PM. I was also told the repairman will call me the day before, on Thursday, November 16, 2017, to narrow down the time within a two hour window for Fridays repair. On Friday, November 17, 2017, AGAIN I called Bosch authorized service agent since their repairman was a No Call, No Show. I was told that the repair has been scheduled for Tuesday, November 21, 2017 and that the part is still not in but should be in today or Monday the 20th. And, the repairman will call me on Monday, November, 20, 2017 with the time window for the Tuesday, November 21, 2017 repair. Maelynn, the service agent apologized for not calling to inform me and was not sure who even changed the repair schedule from November 16th to the 21st. Well, it is now Wednesday, November 22, 2017 and I still have NO dishwasher repaired, NO date for a repair, UNABLE to use the dishwasher, Thanksgiving is tomorrow and all the dirty dinner dishes will have to be washed the old fashioned way...by hand.
