I purchased this microwave from Home Depot in Squamish BC, and have not stopped regretting it after numerous and non-stop issues. The power level button has never worked, the magnetron broke, the machine ran continuously without shutting off, it displayed multiple error codes. The sensor pad, key pad and magnetron (everything but the fan and light) were all replaced within the 1st year, costing much more than replacing it and the same issues are still happening now just outside of warranty. I was told I could purchase a extended warranty any time within the 1st year and was not able to after many attempts. After much complaining and pressure, Home Depot did advocate for me to get a new replacement unit but was not successful. This horrible experience could have been far less stressful if not for the inflexible and unreasonable policy of Samsung. The many agents I spoke with were polite and understanding but completely unable to provide reasonable customer service due to the strict, wasteful and outrageous Samsung repair rules policies and guidelines. I am awaiting to hear back from them after another phone call but based on the last year of my experience with this appliance, am not holding my breath. I hope this review saves someone else from this very frustrating experience. There are hundreds of videos on youtube and complaints highlighting the same issues we have had with our machine. These appliances seem to be consistent lemons.

Samsung is the WORST refrigerator I have ever purchased. The customer service is a joke. They just give you the runaround so you give up. They insult people. They transfer you and put you on hold for literally hours, disconnect the call and they DO NOT stand by their product. After 4 months of talking to a total of 31 different people at their customer service department, my family is still without a working refrigerator.

We purchased this refrigerator (RF23HCEDBSR/AA) Oct 2014 and the last several months ice maker was making loud noise. We took it apart and ice cubes stuck so we cleaned it out. A month later again, and another month came. We turned the ice maker off because too loud of noise. Called service center, said they have 2 places to call. One in PA and the other also same distance in MD. We live in MD. Even though we turned ice maker off noise continued. We called someone local and came out next day. Said the seal and ice maker were the problem & ice getting stuck. After $98 for service call it started all over again. Called our local company again. They said Samsung has a 3 week back order for the parts. Hmmm the next visit to fix with labor & parts $325. I just dealt with Samsung with their washing machine recall 3 or 4 months ago. Now this.

Perfect size, love the middle drawer for the grandchildrens drinks and husbands beer. Has pitcher for my water in the refrigerator. It has lots of space in the freezer and the main part of the fridge. It looks great and fits our needs. I like the door you can open for just small things so you dont have to open the main door of the fridge and let all the cold air out. Couldnt be happier with it.

I bought brand new Samsung Kitchen Suite. After 3 months, the microwave started beeping in the middle of the night. Still under warranty, the touchpad was replaced by the technician. 7 to 8 months later, it occurred again - now out of warranty, we looked online. My husband followed the advice of others having the same problem and he unplugged and re-plugged the ribbon cable which worked. Now, about 6 more months and it started again. So he has added an additional piece of plastic behind the ribbon cable to improve the contact. For now it is working. I am very disappointed in Samsung quality and service.

I purchased a really expensive model in April. The ice maker broke two months ago. I have been trying to get it fix for two months with no luck. They keep giving me the run around telling me that they will call back within 48 hours and they dont. I have left messages all the way to the Executive Customer Relations Dept and NO ONE calls back. They told me Comtech (321-332-0830) had my case and I am TIRED of leaving messages for them as well and they dont even answer the phone. WORST customer service EVER!!! My Samsung refrigerator that I bought a year ago last December today started making a strange noise. The ice maker has had continual issues but today I came home to a flashing panel and what looked like the freezer defrosting. I tried to ascertain what the problem could be and noticed a loud whirring noise but couldnt determine anything out of the ordinary. The ice maker was functioning fine, for once, but the freezer seemed to be defrosting. I tried several times to depress the panel button, to engage the Power Freeze function, and while it seemed by the numeric display to be responding, there was no cooling happening in the freezer area. The noise continued on and off and oddly the upper refrigerator part didnt seem to be affected, so far. I called Samsung Support and asked for assistance and a service call. They came back to me saying it would be 2 business days from today which would then be Monday. Since now everything was defrosting and ruining in my freezer I asked if they couldnt expedite the service call. The CSR gave me the appliance repair company contact info and suggested I call first thing in the morning. I asked when he gave the number if it wasnt in another local because I recognized it as one far from my service area. He said not to be concerned about that. Well, when I looked up the information the company is located in Sarasota, FL and I live in the Mobile, AL area so I am concerned! This is ridiculous and absurd for a 1.5 yr old appliance that should have at least a 10 yr lifespan minimum. What is happening here? Ive bought several refrigerators but never one so expensive and certainly never one with so many issues. The CSR stated that if there was a manufacturing defect they would stand by the warranty and I certainly hope this is the case. This doesnt bode well after all of the complaint reviews Ive read about their refrigerator line. Wish me luck, it appears I may need it!

I had my Samsung French Door refrigerator for approx. 5 years and the same thing. First the handle came off on the freezer. The digital panel went out 3 times. Now it leaks water and does not cool or freeze. Its not under warranty anymore. I called a technician and they state it needs Freon but from what I understand this appliance is supposed to have a closed system. From this point, I refuse to buy anything else Samsung. There should be a class action lawsuit. This is 1800 dollars gone to waste. We had a Kenmore for 20+ years that never leaked or needed Freon and we got rid of it to upgrade.

I bought this French door Samsung refrigerator cause the one that came with the house I bought had died. After looking at both Home Depot, H. H. Gregg, Lowe’s and Best Buy - I settled on this model RF268ABWP at Lowe’s in white. A little background - I went to culinary institute of America at Greystone and have been a professional chef for over 30 years - I know my way around a kitchen and appliances. This Samsung is the worst - there’s just not hardly any storage room in freezer and it continually ices up to the point the drawer/door is open and water/ ice melts on to the kitchen floor. The door at several places has started to rust, underneath the coolselect crisper drawer in the main body of fridge also continually ices up and the drawer starts to be pushed out. Have to thaw ice jam and remove ice sheet and then dry out fridge bottom and freezer drawer bottom. Complete pain in the **. Called Lowe’s customer service and nothing, also called Samsung and nothing no help. After reading and digging around on internet found that it’s a design flaw and company knew about it but refuses to fix. If I could fit on my boat it would be at the bottom of some lake. Complete junk and a waste of over 1400 bucks - my advice to anyone buying a new or used fridge - stay away from Samsung.

My beautiful Samsung French-Door Refrigerator has caused us nothing but problems. Freezing up at the back of the unit, the ice maker worked well for about 12 months and then would jam and ice over, to the point where I cant open the ice cabinet any more. Have had 2 repairs done, and $800 later its no better. It will be going out on the front lawn in about 2 weeks, as I think thats all the life that is left in her. Many of our friends have has the same issue... not sure why there hasnt been a recall on any of the parts that we had repaired. Try Googling issues with Samsung fridges - and the first thing that comes up is fridge icing over... hmm... I detect a theme here. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG FRIDGES!!! They blow...

Our Samsung dishwasher has already been replaced once (right after we got it). I have many of the same problems Ive seen here especially the soap door not opening AT ALL during the cycle, multipacks not dissolving thoroughly, dishes NOT CLEAN! Samsung customer service is equally crappy. Its worse than dealing with a government office! I wish I had my old, portable, hook-up-to-the-faucet dishwasher back! It was 10 times better than any of the new, name-brand, expensive dishwashers out there now! Unfortunately we gave that one away. When this Samsung p.o.s. dishwasher finally quits, Ill just get something else rather than go through the nightmare they call customer service again!!!!!

Our Samsung FE-R300SX is 3 years old and we heard a loud pop and saw flames and smoke shooting out the back of the range. The circuit board caught fire. Samsung will not cover any of the expenses. Thankfully we saw it right away and our kitchen did not catch fire. This range should be recalled for safety. My husband and I were headed out the door when we heard the loud pop and saw the flames. We were baking Tater Tots and had the oven timer on. Our son was in his room playing video games and was going to turn off the oven when the timer went off. Our kitchen would have been on fire before he would have noticed a problem. We paid almost $700 for this range on sale and it is only 3 years old. We are very unhappy customers and will never buy anything Samsung again. They didnt even call me back about the problem. They sent an email to say they were sorry it caught fire, but they set me up for an out of warranty repair that I will have to pay for. I called them back and was told that I had no recourse and they would not cover the repair. Even thought there is a 5-year parts warranty, it does not cover the circuit board which caught fire.

Samsung Flex duo range NE59J7750WS - I wish I would have found this site BEFORE I purchased this range. In theory, this was everything I wanted, replacing an 18-year old Maytag. Plugged this range in and the flex duo range doesnt work! Keeps showing error code C-20. Samsung said because we installed it that it wasnt covered under warranty. Nowhere in the literature does it say that. I called Sears and Samsung multiple times in two days. If I plugged it in and the rest of the machine works, its not me plugging it in wrong! Samsungs customer service, or lack thereof makes me wish I could return this and put my old rusty one back. Dont buy from Samsung! Especially if you plug it in yourself! How ridiculous! We purchased a Samsung Fridge that was delivered 10-22-18. The ice maker never worked. Auger would get stuck pushing the ice drawer out and causing it to bang on the inside of the refrigerator door. No ice would come out. Then we would have to open the door, shake the ice drawer at which time we would get chips of ice even though it was on cubed. Called Lowes and they sent out a repair company that replaced the ice maker. Within 3 days the ice maker is doing the same thing again. It is a flawed design and Lowes said even though we just bought it it was two weeks out of guarantee to replace! We purchased the extended warranty but the problem cant be fixed. Lowes is selling a defective product that is now part of a class action lawsuit. This Samsung Model RF23J9011 is part of the lawsuit. Why would Samsung continue to make defective ice makers AND why would Lowes keep selling them when they have to know, based on the numerous calls they are getting with the same complaint, that these refrigerators are garbage. Just get your $2,400 and throw it out the window. UGH.

I had a Whirlpool for 11 years and wanted a new stainless steel model. I got this 2 years back from Best Buy. I didnt get the extended warranty because I never used it with my old dishwasher and all money was just gone waste. The Samsung brand proved to be my nightmare. I had to call tech service twice in 1 year. Then again after year for which I paid through my own pocket. The dishes are never clean and top shelf never gets dry. I wash all with a soap, rinse with water then again run the dishwasher. If you put the dish without washing it doesn’t get clean. The material used inside, smells like a rubber and I think my old dishwasher was much sturdier than this WaterWall. Additionally, you have to baby it. I bought a Samsung dishwasher at Home Depot last year. It was on sale, all stainless inside and seemed like a great deal. It worked a couple of times then quit... lights flashing and stinky water remaining in the basin. Home Depot responded quickly and sent someone out twice to repair it then finally sent me an email saying it was not fixable. They gave me a full refund. But, I am stubborn and was determined to fix it. Sometimes it worked thru a full cycle and sometimes it did not. I would have to push a couple of buttons to get it to drain afterward. After months of troubleshooting it finally works for me every time. The key is a balanced load. When you put a dinner plate on one side of the rack you must put the next dinner plate on the other side. Same with the top rack. Equal weight on both sides of the carriages is the trick. It sounds like a pain in the you-know-what but it works for me and I feel like a winner! :)

I want to share one of my WORST EXPERIENCES IN LIFE with you. If you really want experience non-professionalism and unethical attitude of the company towards customer grievances, then buy Samsung product especially Samsung refrigerator. I want to share a personal experience of non-professional and unethical attitude of this company, i.e. Samsung which is one of the top most brands in India and across the world. My refrigerator has been out of order for the last one and half months. The authorized service center of Samsung informed that my refrigerator cannot be repaired as company has stopped manufacturing small part. We purchased the refrigerator on 08.04.2011. Just 5 years after the date of purchase, the refrigerator started malfunctioning. The authorized service center of Samsung was contacted who took more than a months time to inform that the defective part cannot be replaced because company has stopped producing it. I was surprised how company can disown the responsibility of providing spare parts after 5 years as hardly anyone replaces refrigerator in India after 5 years. In fact, the CEO of the company who claims that if any customer has any grievance they can directly contact him and the same will be resolved immediately also did not bother to reply the mail sent to him or get it resolved. I am sharing this WORST experience with you so that it may reach as many people as possible. I request you to please share with your friends, colleagues and all known unknowns so that they can be warned about SAMSUNG PRODUCT.

Black French door Refrigerator Model # RF263AEBP. After just over 1 year from purchase, we were alerted to our 1st of now 3 water freeze-up in our fridge. In time #1 & 2 noted water on kitchen floor which was ultimately also on the floor of refrigerator section. Warranty was expired. Thank goodness for websites like this and youtube as we determined the problem was water line freezing and ultimate ice back up. Ice was thick all over the coils and drain clogged with ice. After following youtube directions all was fixed and we felt pretty darn happy with ourselves. (Rightly so as based upon reviews here not only do Samsung techs not know what’s going on - there is no fix, thats clear - but private techs dont know either and all just sell you a bill of goods you dont need.)About 6 months later we were alerted to the problem again in the same way described above. Followed the same youtube process and although this is getting old, solved the problem. Its been over a year and no freeze ups. Until 2 days ago. This time no alert of water, simply the fridge was warmer than usual. Rebooted the fridge and the sensor panels. The key here we didnt hear the fan going. Fridge and freezer cold enough but no noisy fan motor (a lifetime issue with this fridge). Again alerted by one of the reviews, we tried to do what we always do but this time it took 40 min to remove the back panel to access the frozen coils. When we finally got it off the fan was still under over 3 inches of ice (fan is on the back panel). Well after another hour of defrosting all ice with hair dryer and clearing the iced up drain.. all was cleaned (only positive occurrence for me) and put back.Well, while ice is gone, this must have been the straw on the camel’s back as even though the fan moves freely it seems the motor probably has had it. Froze up too long. No early alert system which clearly this defective product needs. I am mad. Not at defective product but at the dismissive attitude of this company to all those who have been trying to go through the proper channels. I do have no choice but to call my regular appliance company who I trust. Then Ill decide whether or not to repair or replace. Its a shame because the physical structure Im happy with. But will never, ever, ever buy an appliance that has any association with Samsung in the future...

This series DW80F600 dishwasher showed signs of high temperature heating errors when it was only 10 months old. We called support and were told that it would cost a certain amount ($273.43 to be exact) to have someone come and look at the machine. Just look at it, not fix it! WE went ahead and had them look at the problem and of course, the part needed wasnt under any sort of warranty. Now just over a year old and we are are stuck with a $498.75 bill for a machine that still doesnt work. The error lights came back on the very next day! We could have purchased a brand new dishwasher for much less and gotten much better results. I am warning all who think purchasing this machine, to rethink that plan!! This is the worst dishwasher on the market.

My husband has been buying Samsung product for 20 years and since building our new home of course all of everything has to be Samsung...well either theyre under new management or they are getting too comfortable with their name, because we have had bad experience with the oven the 1st year. The door got stuck self cleaning and burned out the display panel and still cant see the numbers on it even after getting it fixed parts in all service paid $400. Microwave numbers seems to jam sometimes but still work. The Samsung vacuum cleaner has no adjustment, very hard to push and now 4 year later within the 5 year of our new home the refrigerator bottom freezer does not work.We YouTube fix it yourself and nothing has worked...top work but bottom doesnt and not to mention the dishwasher top rack will fall on one side off the track. We paid cash from Best Buy for all of our Samsung appliances and I am very disappointed and wait a minute our 50 tv all of a sudden had gotten a green line to appear in the left hand corner. Dont know how that happened...we are 50 year old. No kids to cause any of this damage nor do we have pets. We are very clean people and dont want to have to replace all these but looks like soon its gonna happen so this is our past experience with Samsung products

I remodel my whole kitchen! I went to lowes for appliances, bought Fridge, stove, microwave hood range and dish washer! 1st week the ice maker stopped working, got that repaired! Two weeks later, the freezer went out! Lost 60$ of meat in freezer!! So Lowes replaced whole unit free of charge!! The 2nd fridge came, it stopped working within 1 week of running! Called Samsung, they told me to open back panel and hit reset button in back! Did that and it started to work again! Well the next 3 days the ice maker quit again! Samsung got it repaired, 3 weeks later it went out again! Since then it has been 5 months without a hitch!Meantime, Microwave Hood range stopped working, repairman came out, order a couple of parts replaced them, still didnt work. Lowes replaced unit!! 2 months of running the 2nd one started to make a loud vibration!! Repairman came out to see, said it was loose in casing! While looking at that he opened lite part and it was broken, the light fixture itself! The pins that hold lite up was broken! Wait for Buy Back on that! He also came to look at dishwasher cause it was make a loud noise, also which it didnt do it in past! Repairman said the Motor is going out!! So it is on order!Stove on other hand, the back leg that holds unit leveled was bent and could not be fixed, got it replaced! On 2nd stove the front window has water leak condensation from cooking and there is no way to clean it!! On all the appliances I was told they were top of the line! Stainless steel, in which I cannot keep clean, there is like streaks on all of them and no matter what I use, very good cleaner still cant remove stains from them! The repairman told me the SS is very cheap kind of SS, and that is why there are stain on them! All of this has happened from April 15th 2013 till now! And Samsung warranty is one yr, in which they want me to buy new warranty!! Even though I have had 3 of them replaced, it still goes back the date of purchase! Im currently building up my report to have Samsung buy back all of them!!! Im so very upset about this!! In which they are giving me a run around trying to do this!! My time is running out for warranty! And Im so scared they will not last for much longer!! I need help from an outside source. Please anyone out there! Im disabled cause of a semi crash I was in, and the money I used is all I have left from this upgrade! Thanks for read my report.

RB217ABPN - Purchased 11/06/09. Started noticing water in the fruit bin. Called for repair dept. Was told maybe we would have to pay for repairs, but go to simulator samsung.com. We did but it was not available for our refrigerator. Went to youtube. My husband took the refrigerator apart like shown. Once we removed the panel, we noticed it was all rusted on one side, the screws were not all in to hold the fan in place and one side of the panel is cracked in several places. Put back together. Hopeful it will work, but will be out looking for a new refrigerator since I dont think rust and cracked panel can be good. Nothing last long anymore.....

Water constantly leaks and pools under vegetable drawers. We must chip ice away every few days so that food doesnt freeze. This fridge has the ice maker and water/ice dispenser on door. We turned off the ice maker and disconnected the water thinking it would stop the water leaking but it did not. Ice maker worked great but the water leak is ridiculous. We will never purchase another Samsung refrigerator again.

Upon moving into a new home, I purchased a 4-drawer Samsung refrigerator. Its beautiful and has a lot of cool features, but within 6 months the ice maker was frozen over. I contacted Samsung and they sent a repair person (theres only one in my area). He walked in and without even touching the refrigerator indicated that he could replace the parts, but Samsung hadnt done anything to truly fix the issues, so it would break in another 6 months. It didnt last that long! Within the next 8 months, it would break 3 more times. They finally agreed to replace it after the repair person refused the job the final time. They led me through a long process of providing documentation and then indicated that they couldnt find a replacement (even though they are in all of the big box stores near me), so they offered me a refund. I accepted it and they led me on an even longer documentation process -- requested paperwork piece-by-piece (first the bill of sale, then a picture of the warranty information, then a scan of the sticker on the inside of the door...), indicate they didnt receive what Id sent and ask for it to be sent again; send the wrong form and after I call, send me a new form, indicate they didnt receive it and ask for it again... This continued until I wrote an email to the Executive Vice President. I was assigned a designated contact, whose title indicated she was in the Presidents Office, who was no better than their original customer service representatives. She only assisted when I initiated the contact and what was supposed to take 5-7 days, took over 2 weeks. Upon getting my refund approval, my designated contact told that Id receive two emails -- one asking for all of the information (ignore it, she said) and a second that would request my bank information to get a direct deposit. Amazingly, Id receive the first email repeatedly, but never get the second one. I now have to wait for a check to be cut. I have already been in the process for two months and am now told that it will be an additional 2 weeks to get a check. As the check is too large to put through my banks app, I will have to drive over an hour to the nearest branch. At the time Im writing this, Florida has just entered a 30-day stay-at-home order; therefore, I will be unable to deposit it for a lengthy time. Buyer beware! While Samsung appliances look pretty (my dishwasher is also a disappointment!), they are poorly made and their warranty is painful and designed to discourage you from using it.

My husband & I renovated 2 apartments in 2012 and purchased new appliances from Best Buy -- 2 French door refrigerators, microwave/cook oven -- to the tune of a $3,500 to $4,000. We thought this manufacturer had a trustworthy reputation, thus we bought their brand name. Unfortunately, problems abound with our refrigerator & microwave. The microwave required servicing as did the refrigerator. The freezer is cold but refrigerator is warm. Calls to the service department have been frustrating. Someone was to get back to us -- but didnt. In a total bureaucratic manner one blames the other for incompetency and POOR SAMSUNG SERVICE. Tell your family, friends, neighbors and even people you dont know well -- DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS.

Contacted Samsung and they informed me that there was nothing they could do for me as I hadnt purchased the extended warranty. We have had this fridge for a year and a half and it is still not working and leaking water. We have already spent close to $500.00 in repairman costs and still no help. Do not buy any Samsung appliance unless you have money to burn. This isnt right. My husband and I are considering contacting an attorney in this matter. My parents took delivery of a Samsung fridge model RS267LBWP on Sept.13, 2007. It worked for 32 months and then had no cooling problem. This problem has now gone on for 26 months and 7 service calls (at considerable expense) to the Samsung authorized repair center. Their Customer Service experience has been dreadfully poor as they are unresponsive to what is really a lemon. I have tried to escalate to the Voice of the Customer Manager who referred me to the Office of the President (yes, OOP - spell it backwards and thats exactly what it means). Take this notice and warn people to never buy a Samsung product. They do a great job of marketing and advertising but youre on your own if the product ever has a problem. Sony and Apple lead the way in terms of customer service. I will stick by those brands and the excellent service that they have provided in the past.Just an addendum: A family member bought a 52 Samsung LED TV 3 years ago and now the TV is developing dead pixels in the middle of the screen. This is obviously a Samsung problem but they have no solution to the problem and wont offer one other than a new $800 screen. The end of story - buy a Samsung product if you want but dont say you werent warned of the major customer service deficiencies this company exhibits.

I got this stove in 2012 and had purchased extended warranty for 3 years. The stove was okay performance wise but scratched too easily. I had other glass cooktops that looked better even after 8, 9 years while this one got all scratched up. And three weeks back the glass top just burst when I was cooking. Thankfully the shards of glass held intact and did not fall in. As per my manual the glass top was covered for 5 years. I call extended warranty that had expired and found out that this was common occurrence with samsung stoves. I register a complaint with Samsung customer service and as per the guy who spoke he will send a service tech to inspect cause as it was still under warranty. I was asked to email pictures which I promptly did. After living 1 week without stove I follow up and was transferred to Executive customer service and the lady who spoke was really rude. She checked my email as I am on phone after asking for date and case # etc and right away says that claim is rejected because it is physical damage and after repeated questioning too could not explain physical damage and proceeded to say it was my fault. I said Ill sue them and she goes on to say I could and send me the response in email as I asked that for legal purposes. She cuts me off and emails that it is my fault hence not covered. I call again and fight my way through the same BS Executive customer service and convince other guy to open new case and send pictures from different angles. After dealing with them for 3 weeks an hour each time on phone they say they cannot honour the warranty and say it is cosmetic scratches that caused the break. How can something that you yourself call cosmetic cause a shattered glass. I will never buy anything samsung ever again. Dont waste your money buying anything made of samsung. They have no integrity and make ** products and wont even honour their own warranty.

Heavy smoke came out of the oven and filled the whole kitchen and spread to other rooms. I panicked and switched off and called the company. They said the technician can come only after two days. Then the technician arrived and said the coil has gone and replaced it. By then, the back of the oven looked all burned out. I wanted a replacement as it was on extended warranty, but the repair person said that it will not have any more issues. Tried to bake again, this time, the cake was not cooked in the middle, only the sides were cooked and it was all a mess. I bought a brand new Samsung glass top/double oven, convection range 4 years ago. I paid a lot more than I usually do for appliances, thinking it would last the rest of my life. I bought the flat bottom pots they say to use, not knowing that if the bottom is aluminum, the burner would get hot enough to melt the bottom if the pot boiled dry. I ended up with aluminum melted into the top and a huge crack when it cooled. Samsung says no replacement top available, buy a new range. Customer service non-existent. Bought the Samsung French door refrigerator in 2014. In 2015, it stopped cooling twice. Had to be thawed at home since it is already out of warranty. Which is ridiculous. Samsung service is of no assistance. Just refer you to a local repair shop who refers you elsewhere because they refuse to service Samsungs products. If I had known about the short life of this refrigerator and the inability of it to perform its only job of cooling food, Id have definitely switched to another brand before the purchase of this $1,500 piece of pretty - looking junk. Samsung has been made aware of this design flaw for years, but due to selfishness and greed have refused to address the issue, fix / redesign the problem coils, or even recall their junk refrigerators. They have done a huge disservice to their consumers by allowing these pieces of junk to remain on the market without fixing the issues. I feel they should be made to recall the problem appliances. We lost over $300 in food and even the babys formula. Theres no excuse to sell high priced junk to consumers without standing behind your products. Bad business practices. Samsung should just stick with cell phones and computers. Their refrigerators are not worth the money or bad reviews. Just stay away!

I try to be a responsible informed consumer before making a pricey purchase. I took the plunge and bought a Samsung refrigerator Model #RS261MDBP 05/2014. The first refrigerator delivered had a golf ball size dint on front right door. Immediately delivery company informed Samsung and the refrigerator was replaced approximately a week later. My grown children were home at time of delivery while I was out of town caring for sick family member. I came home a month afterwards and noticed three dints on right door as if someone placed and replaced their hands there to push refrigerator in place. I also noticed the ice maker wasnt making much ice. I read the troubleshooting section of manual and made adjustments of temperature and rearranged food in freezer. At this time condensation was accumulating in freezer and food in fridge was spoiling. Once again I adjusted temperatures to no avail. I contacted Samsung which a repair company came out and said that model came off assembly with the issues I was having due to some faulty parts. Little over six weeks later the same problems started all over again. Another company came and fixed a totally different problem. Two weeks later ice maker still wasnt producing ice properly, milk spoiled, and condensation started accumulating in freezer again. Samsung was informed of all the issues Ive had since receiving their product. Eventually after many phone calls, emails with proof of purchase and pictures they agreed to a partial reimbursement, deducting 10% per month after 1 year ownership. My very first new refrigerator and it was heartbreaking. I will not buy another Samsung appliance.

Our beautiful and expensive Samsung fridge has locked up several times, requiring a hard defrost. This time it actually burnt up the fan, requiring an emergency overnight purchase of a new fan. And were not sure the new fan will work - the serial numbers on our fan show that its no longer available, and Samsung doesnt have replacements. We had to go with a third party and hope their best guess is right. In the meantime our food is in coolers for two days, and the ** of it is that Im pretty sure that the best case scenario is that this fan will fit, and in a few months it will all freeze solid and lock up and burn the fan out again.Im ready to throw in the towel, but we spent a couple of grand on this (considerable for a not-wealthy family) and my husband wants to keep trying. It would be so bad but apparently this has been going for almost a decade. Im pissed off at Samsung for still putting out this shoddy product, as well as Lowes for continuing to see it. Here it is in a nutshell (a rather big nutshell)... I STRONGLY advise against purchasing a Samsung range (Samsung MODEL NE59J7630SW) for the following reasons... Purchased 01/15/2017, delivered 02/07/2017. We have been contacting Samsung for service since October with no success. We have now been WITHOUT A WORKING RANGE FOR OVER A MONTH. The so-called SERVICE and WARRANTY for this appliance is a joke (See below). We have not used the stove as Samsung instructed for over a month.Weve spent $100s of dollars eating out and can only can eat cold sandwiches at home. We also had to cancel our Christmas gathering that weve had for 15 years due to this on-going problem. Samsung now says they dont have ANYONE to service our area and were promised a full REFUND (still waiting for it). We bought it at HOME DEPOT. So that you can fully understand our frustration, heres a log of how weve tried to resolve this...10/16 - Called for service - Hot element light stays on continuously (NO CALLBACK OR RESPONSE). 11/06 - I burned my hand because I didnt know the element was actually HOT! 12/01 - Called again (ticket **) Stove-top cracked (Tech to call with service date, NO CALL RECEIVED). 12/07 - Received email from Samsung - CANCELLED TICKET/SERVICE CALL??? 12/07 - Called Home Depot appliance manager (said to try again, let him know if not resolved).12/14 - EMAIL from Samsung (new ticket **) - Appointment made for 12/18 (NEVER SHOWED). 12/18 - No one showed up. Called Samsung, service center said date was 12/21 9am-1pm (said Samsung messed update). 12/21 - Tech called 11:30 am running late, changed to 3:30 pm. Tech called 4:30 stuck in traffic, will be here late (NEVER CALLED BACK OR SHOWED UP). We texted technician at 4:45 asked him to please come next day so we would have our stove by Xmas (NEVER REPLIED).12/22 - Called Service Center, They said we were TOO FAR AWAY and they needed to service locals first. 12/22 - Called Samsung, They said they would find another service center to fix it by 12/27 or ISSUE US A REFUND. 12/22 - Called Home Depot - Rich called Samsung/called us back/said Samsung would repair it by 12/27. 12/23 - EMAIL from Samsung (new ticket **), said service center would call to set date (NO CALL RECEIVED). 12/26 - Called Home Depot (Rich) - got nowhere.12/27 - Day came and went without any call from Samsung or service center. 12/28 - 4:55 pm - Call from Service Center to make appointment for 01/03/18 1 pm-3 pm. 12/28 - 4:56 pm - EMAIL from Samsung CANCELLED. 01/03/18 appointment just made a minute earlier!!! 12/29 - I CALLED SAMSUNG and spoke to 3 different people/supervisors and demanded REFUND as promised (GOT NOWHERE). 01/03 - Samsung called, they CANT FIND SERVICE CENTER, requested Receipt (we emailed it to EFAX@SEA.SAMSUNG.COM ref# **).01/04 - Samsung called - they requested Bill of Sale (we emailed it to EFAX@SEA.SAMSUNG.COM ref# **). 01/05 - (5:31pm) Samsung called - requested SPECIAL Bill of Sale (was sent on 4th but we sent AGAIN to EFAX@SEA.SAMSUNG.COM). 01/05 - (7:52pm) Samsung called - said received all of the information except... MISSING THE SPECIAL CUSTOMER INVOICE RECEIPT. 01/05 - (8:57pm) I called Samsung back, told them we ALREADY SENT THEM EVERY DOCUMENT AND RECEIPT WE HAD RECEIVED from Home Depot.01/10 - We re-emailed ALL PAPERWORK WE RECEIVED TO SAMSUNG AGAIN... sent to (EFAX@SEA.SAMSUNG.COM ref# **). 01/10 - We emailed copies of all papers to Samsung, Home Depot store manager AND our attorney. 01/10 - We are seeing our lawyer Monday (well NEVER purchase another Samsung product).

I bought a DMT300 series dishwasher not even 2 years old. For the last 3 months, when you try to do a cycle after about 5 minutes the normal-heavy-quick lights continue to flash and wont wash anymore.. All I can say is that I will never buy a Samsung again. My husband said just go buy another dishwasher. To us its not worth calling someone in to fix it, cause they automatically will charge you about 150.00 bucks just for showing up..

I have a fridge of 1.5 years and just after first year was defective ice maker and now just after 1.5 years, compressor is blown. Compressor is under warranty for 5 years, but after 15 days, Samsung has still not replaced the compressor or the fridge. Every time I call (and spend 1-2 hours waiting for case management), they pretend theyve never spoken to me - even though they ordered the dispatcher that diagnosed the issue! This is so fraudulent and unacceptable. I bought the fridge at Lowes and they should be ashamed to allow this type of dishonest activity to happen. I have spent so much in restaurant bills and spoiled food, I could have bought a Viking fridge. NEVER, NEVER, EVER BUY SAMSUNG. By the way...my Samsung washer/dryer? Also had issues the first year.

I would like Samsung to help me out on this problem (T9000 refrigerator stopped cooling in the main refrigerator area). I built my kitchen around this product that seems to be garbage. Samsung Model RF260BEAESR/AA - Loud cracking noise from the fridge. The noise happens all throughout the day and night. Samsung was aware of the problem according to the Totem Appliance technician. A new evaporator plate was installed. This did not solve the problem. Samsung technicians claim that this loud cracking sound is normal. It is so noisy that we are awaken from our sleep each night. How can the technicians claim that this is a normal sound when they have never heard my refrigerator. Customer service has been extremely bad. I have spent hours and hours trying to talk to customer service which has gotten me nowhere. Samsung does not back up their warranty.

One of the front right burner, it does not come on with the igniter and then it finally does making a big flame because the gas has been on for a few seconds. They wanted me to troubleshoot the issue over the phone. I am not a train tech for this job. I am their customer. This being a safety issue for myself and my kids its unbelievable. I dont recommend and will buy anything from Samsung ever again.

Like many, I am the unfortunate owner of a Samsung microwave (model SMH9187ST) which is now not even 2 years old. It gives nothing but an SE code now, and since the warranty has expired, it will cost more to fix than replace. It was repaired once when under warranty but I should have known this lemon was going to break again. Before the SE code errors, it also had the baked potato function begin to work by itself. I have sent many complaints to Samsung and they finally said, We will file a repair claim, only to be told by the repair person it was out of my pocket charges. They refuse to stand by their product and I am out of luck. This is so very frustrating!

Samsung Refrigerator RS2530BBP - We purchased this refrigerator from Connâ€
Samsung Refrigerator RS2530BBP - We purchased this refrigerator from Conn’s Appliance in March 2009. About 4 months ago, we noticed that the refrigerator compartment was not cooling. We researched the problem on the internet and found a lot of people had reported the same problem with this particular model. Following the suggestions on the internet, we removed the panel in the rear of the freezer compartment and found the evaporator core was completely covered in ice. We used a hair dryer and melted the ice. This resolved the problem, but only temporarily.Within 2 weeks, the refrigerator compartment was warming up again. We, again, took the panel off in the freezer and melted the ice. One of the suggestions we found was to replace the sensor on the evaporator core so we ordered a new sensor and replaced it. This did not resolve the problem. We called 4 different appliance repair companies and none would work on a Samsung refrigerator. We have resorted to thawing out the freezer every 2 weeks to keep the refrigerator cold enough to keep our food from spoiling. At this point, we are shopping for a new refrigerator and we are NOT looking at Samsung. We have Samsung TVs in our house and Samsung cell phones and have not had any problems with them but we will never again buy a Samsung refrigerator.

We purchased our Samsung Refrigerator Model RF23HCED on April 14, 2014. First problem was that the ice maker room kept getting a lot of frost on it ceiling. My husband would periodically check and service it by steaming off the frost (as recommended in the Samsung Service Bulletin. Then on Oct 2017 the fan, behind the refrigerator wall began to make a lot of noise. Luckily we had purchased a 5 year extended warranty from Home Depot (strange that one was not offered to us by Samsung). The repairman sent by Asurion arrived, 10 days later, and removed the back wall and stated that the problem was Samsung poor design. Samsung had placed the SENSOR in the wrong place. He said that he would fix the problem and he did, it lasted for a year and a half.Fast forward to June 2019 and the fan starts making the same noise and the refrigerator temp starts rising. So my husband takes the refrigerator apart and defrosts both the ice maker room and the coil and fan behind the back wall of the fridge. BINGO it works (well see for how long). The Samsung Service Bulletin states that when these refrigerators have this happen there are many steps to be done AND the Ice Makers are to be REPLACED! So I contact Samsung and all I get is well arrange for a serviceman to come out.We are not paying Samsung one more penny to correct their errors. Simply send us the ice maker and my husband will do the replacement. But all they do is read a script...warranty expired...repairman will be sent. When in fact they knew, well before our warranties expired, that the ice makers needed to be replaced, as well as the sensors re-located. They did not issue a recall, but waited for our warranties to expire so that they could make us, the consumers, pay for their error(s).So a poor design by Samsung does not hurt them - just us consumers, Samsung gets to charge us for sending out repairman on each and every poorly designed refrigerator, we pay for the labor and the parts - AND - we are supposed to suddenly trust them and believe that they have our best interests at heart while they rake in more money from us. Samsung should stick to TVs and phones (the non-exploding type of course). STAY OUT OF THE KITCHEN!!

Bought Feb 2015. Worked, but never dried 1 dish. In June heavy light started flashing, repair came out, said he raised hose. Worked for 2 weeks. Can out again - replaced 2 hoses, then decided tub leaked. Accused us of attempting to repair, two elderly women me and my mom. Samsung said that they would refund, not replace as rhe model has been discontinued. Nothing on my receipt indicated that I purchased discontinued item. Now I can get the upgraded model for an additional $200. Bait & switch? So here I am with a dishwasher that does nothing but flash heavy light. Dishes being washed by hand. They now drain in my dishwasher. This horrifying appliance replaced a $25 whirlpool about 30 years old purchased at Habitat for Humanity, which worked perfectly for 4 years. Service America would not repair because it was too old... So much for new. All I asked is for a replacement with stainless front and interior and was quiet. My new Samsung is very quiet, just a lovely blue flashing light.

BUYERS BEWARE!! The worst experience involving the Samsung dishwasher DW80H9 series. First year the top rack was not functioning properly. The fix was use zip ties to stabilize, this was from a Samsung tech. Second year continually got the E7 error code, replaced the spray arm motor and assembly. Third year, same E7 code and replaced same parts again, but I had to wait 2-1/2 months to get the correct part. This year is the fourth year, guess what, same error code. Today I canceled all extended warranties, this company needs to remove their products from the consumer base and start over again. The Samsung Protection Plus warranty system is a joke also, the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. If I can change a handful of peoples minds to purchase a different manufacturers product, my job is done. Please be aware that Samsungs appliances are pretty and your kitchen looks awesome, but not functional and you will be spending your valuable time on the phone for hours for repair. Please take heed!!!

Dont be fooled ... as we were by salespeople who tell you that Samsung appliances are top of the line. We bought a front loader washer/dryer and French door refrigerator less than six years ago. All three appliances have been repaired at least once. The refrigerator, however, should be singled out as a LEMON -- we continue to have the same problem. We purchased our Samsung mini split air conditioner not even 3 years ago. The first summer it was in they had to replace the communication wire so the inside unit would work. The second summer it had a leaky valve so they had to recharge it and we havent even started our third summer and the fan motor inside the head needed to be replaced. They ordered the new motor and installed it, now both circuit boards are fried. Samsung is not willing to stand behind the product and said it isnt their product, was made by someone else, even though their name is on it and passed the buck onto a third party. Said we need to schedule an onsite visit for the unit to be looked at. Samsung informed us this would take 2-3 weeks to be arranged. Considering all the issues we have had since day 1, this is not very acceptable customer service. I would not recommend this or any other Samsung items to people based on this interaction with them!

I bought my Samsung Stove oven range from HHGregg and bought 5 years warranty with it. Within 1 month of usage (cooking for 2) started noticing the blackish superficial layer peeling off from the glass top. Called HHgregg and was directed to Samsung. Third party repair personnel after inspecting said it is common occurrence and to use razor as suggested to peel of the layer by scrubbing it in a certain way. Before 12 months end I saw the crack on the cook top and a bulge on the glass top. After complaining to customer service it took 30 days with 3 guys from different company and taking pictures of the stove to tell me that it is wear and tear. I need to pay 250$ for cook top and 250$ for the labor to repair it. I cant afford to repair it or replace it as it is the brand new stove which I paid 1200$. Bad customer service. Was told by the electrical company that the engineers at Samsung will see pictures and determine if it was wear and tear. My old cooking range was from whirlpool survived 10 years. Bought Samsung model DW80F600/AA dishwasher from Lowes for all the features
Bought Samsung model DW80F600/AA dishwasher from Lowes for all the features it had like quietness, stainless steel exterior/interior and food grinding capabilities. All was good until it suddenly started leaving dirt on dishes. After trying a few different dish washer detergents, decided to call in for repairs. Could not get a technician immediately so had to wait about a week. The technician eventually came and I must say he was really on time. He took a look and decided it was a return valve that needed to be replaced. However, he did not have it and it had to be ordered. The actual part was a small rubber valve that costs under $2. How it would not be in his van really beggars belief. So he ordered the part and had to come again after two weeks to allow for the part to arrive (was shipped by UPS ground!).Second time round, technician was not as much on time as the previous time but in fairness, called in early to say he would be late. So I have no fault with that. He called again when he was about 10 minutes away so I met him at my property. He quickly replaced the valve and ran a quick test. All seemed fine. And now the big disappointment! After just a couple of days, the dishwasher started behaving the same way as previously. I thought, if the original diagnosis was correct, then the return valve must have gone again. I looked at the return valve and it looks like a part that can easily fault so obviously Samsung never gave it some real thought. And now that they know it bends so easily, why dont their technicians carry it in their vans and as a result have to make two trips to carry out a repair? So, continuing with the dishwasher saga, technician called in again. As usual, the first visit is without parts but I still have to wait in the house for either a morning or afternoon appointment. This time decided he needed to replace two more parts (a sensor and a drain pump). As before, had to wait for the parts to ship by UPS to my house. Another appointment in 2 weeks to allow for the parts to be delivered.Fourth time, they sent a different technician. Spent about a couple of hours replacing the parts. Said all was well and left. Hardly a day went by and the same error code resurfaced. All this time, I had been calling the number that was provided by Lowes to schedule service. But this time, I decided I would call Samsung customer service direct. Did so and told them I have already had 4 technician visits. They said they do not have any record of it! They set me up with a new technician to come in and take a look. First appointment was on a Thursday but they cancelled it a day before saying the parts will not have been available. So they set it up for the Friday following the Thursday. Technician came, opened the dishwasher bottom piece, asked for a paper towel, wiped away some water from the sensor that was replaced previously then put it back. Ran a short cycle and it would not drain. He then concluded that it was not working as expected because I had a food disposal unit on the sink. Told me that their appliances should not be connected to the same plumbing as the food disposal so advised that I get a plumber to modify the plumbing. Was fed up at this stage. How on earth do they make appliances that will not work if there is a food disposal attached knowing very well that almost every modern American home has a food disposal unit under the sink????Looked up the user manuals. Found no evidence of mention of food disposal units so decided I was being taken for a ride. Called Samsung customer service again and they told me all they can do is send a technician again to get a second opinion. Told them I already had 5 visits. They told me they only have evidence of one. Asked to speak to a supervisor. None was available so set up an appointment for a supervisor call back. Supervisor called back within about an hour and said the best she could do was send a technician out again. Bad news is I have to wait another 8 days as there is nothing available sooner. So now waiting for the sixth visit and possibly a 7th, because I am pretty sure the technician will not be carrying any parts.I have never been so disappointed by an appliance before. Should have carried out more research before I landed on a Samsung. My older dishwasher was doing a much better job and I wish I had kept it. Dont lose your money buying this appliance!! Samsung should either get their act together or stick to things they do well in such as phones and televisions. They should stay out of the appliance business for now!

This wash machine has a wide variety of settings for washing. The bedding and waterproof items setting is very helpful. Without the center cylinder things like this can tangle, but not so in this setting. The spin cycle does a great job. Much less dryer time is needed. The water jet inside the washer is super handy to touch up items with a stain before the load. I wondered if I would use the deep fill water option since my old machine used a lot more water. But I have not felt the need to use it yet, this washer gets clothes nice and clean without all the extra water. I love that it reminds me when it is time to clean the machine. The self clean cycle is great. You will enjoy the little chime that goes off when the load is done. Highly recommend this washer!

When I purchased my new home in July of 2010, I decided to buy my dream refrigerator along with it. I purchased the Samsung French door from Lowes for about $2500 - a real splurge for a single school teacher. I didnt get the extended warranty because I figured that anything that expensive would be well made with excellent customer service. Wrong on both counts. The first refrigerator lasted two weeks. The water spout wasnt working so Lowes told me to get a plumber. I had the plumber come and $100 later, the problem was still there. Finally, after a lot of complaining, Lowes switched it out for another one. I blamed the problem on Lowes, thinking they gave me a floor model. The replacement worked much better until I noticed snow on the right side of the freezer (about 6 months later). Of course I figured I did something wrong. I was still in denial that Samsung would sell a piece of junk for top dollar. I cleaned out the freezer and was careful about closing the door. Then I noticed the food in fridge would be completely soggy to the point where I had to throw things away. My biggest mistake was waiting a year and a half to call them. They told me to troubleshoot and go from there. This past holiday, the snow was so bad that my food was ruined in the freezer. I have gone the rounds with Samsung. They told me it will cost $500 and they will not pay any of it. Basically, what they are saying is it is okay for them to sell a product to a consumer for $2,500 and then expect a repair of 20% of that price in two years. Mind you, I am a single senior who barely opens the freezer or fridge for that matter. I take care of my things and never in all my years had to repair or replace any appliance owned. Samsung needs to make this right. They need to step up to the plate with integrity and replace all our defected refrigerators. Consumers have rights. It is illegal to sell someone something and not have it perform the function it was meant to do. I am boycotting all Samsung products and urging you to do the same. Please, please, please if you are considering a Samsung, please do not purchase. This refrigerator is defective.
