We purchased a Kenmore elite water heater from Sears 3 years ago. Everything was until it stopped working. It turned out that the Sears installer had installed it with a small leak in the supply line connection, which dripped into the heater and rusted out the tank. Kenmore charged us $75 to send someone out. He said talk to the store; they said call the national service line. They transferred us to another service line. They sent us to the Water Heater Hotline. They told us there was nothing they would do. We just bought a new GE water heater from Home Depot. I understand now why Sears is going to go bankrupt.

Kenmore elite is the best cleaning dishwasher I have ever owned. I liked the interior and the control panel. It cleans dirty, hard to clean dishes better than any other dishwasher. I like that it has different wash cycles. Also, the turbo wash cycle cleans great. The silverware holder holds a lot of silverware. The prongs to hold the dishes are tall and strong.

My 2005 Kenmore Electric Range (model 790.96619401 Serial No. VF45126081) caught fire this afternoon. Thankfully, my husband and I were present, as were my FIVE children. We were left shaken to say the least! I was preheating my oven when I heard a crackling sound. Suddenly, I saw a spark that quickly turned to flames shooting from behind the control panel. We were able to pull the appliance from the wall and unplug it, at which point the flames died out. There was no damage in or around the electrical socket and the damage to my wall was DIRECTLY behind the vent where the flames came from. I am disturbed to see how many others have had similar experiences with Kenmore appliances.Sears has been little to no help in resolving this matter. It took 5 associates before someone even took an incident report! I was told they could send a technician for repairs at my expense, since I am no longer under warranty! This is not even the 1st issue I have had with this company. Six months after I purchased my $1500 refrigerator, there was a recall for chance of fire! PLEASE BEWARE! DO NOT BUY SEARS OR KENMORE!!!

White that goes with anything and easy to wipe clean. Looks good after years of use and fits well in my kitchen or anyone elses. Big enough for a large family and for holiday goodies and leftovers. Holds all I need with room to spare. Lots of shelves, plenty of pull out drawers and temp control for bins for what I need and more. Convenient freezer. Have had for 10 years with no problems or maintenance calls in that time. Worth the money for peace of mind and carefree. Would surely buy same one again.

Keeps everything fresh and tasty and very reliable to my family and has never let me down at all and will buy another one in the future and very excited to get one that is updated and happy to use. Im very satisfied with the fridge altogether. Very much Kenmore has met my expectations and more.

Weve had our Kenmore electric washer (top-loader) and dryer for approx. 15 years and have had excellent results with both, having had to have the dryer repaired once and the washer twice; none of the service calls were expensive or life-threatening for the appliances. We use them about 5 times a week and are so satisfied we recently purchased new ones to go in a new laundry room. This time to save money we got a front-loading washer and gas dryer. The old pair, still working perfectly, we gifted to a grandchild.

When I had some extra money last year, I bought a new refrigerator as I thought the Kenmore was getting old and would quit working soon. I put the new one upstairs and the Kenmore downstairs. I like the Kenmore much better, its still running and may switch them out again.

I had purchased a Kenmore wall oven back in December 2011. A few months ago, the racks were not fitting properly and the pan with food kept spilling and crashing onto the element and I kept getting burned. Last straw was last evening when I burned my arm pretty good when trying to rescue a falling pan. I went to Sears this morning and they told me it was probably the racks so I ordered 2. Now reading all the complaints, I see that it probably is not the racks but the product itself and it is no longer under warranty. The sales people looked at me like I was nuts when describing this problem.

I liked the fact that the Kenmore Refrigerator had rollout trays and that the bins were clear. I also liked the shelves on this model. The light inside was nice. It was more clear and brighter than the other models. However, one of the things that I didnt like was that the doors are hard to keep open. Nevertheless, I chose the Kenmore Refrigerator due to the overall appearance of the brand versus the other brands and the price was enticing as well. I also liked the fact that it was the color that I wanted, stainless steel.

Bought this refrigerator less than two years ago, already doesnt cool or freeze. Sears technician was a no-show after waiting all day on a Saturday. Said he called, complete lie. Trying to get another tech out, may be another week, this is so unsatisfactory! I was a big Sears supporter but no more. Looks Kenmore refrigerators are junk, Sears needs to extend the warranty especially on their high end products. Im going to the Executive Team about this.

Shortly after the one year warranty expired on our Kenmore 400 Washer (Model:29422801), it began tearing holes in items. The washer seems to enjoy eating jeans, boxer shorts, shirts, my wifes bras, and our blankets. After 14 months, the washer no longer functions as it was described. I tried to reach out to the manufacturer but to no avail.

I purchased a Kenmore refrigerator with a bottom freezer in September 2017. Ive had the technician over twice already. The problems associated with this are loss of food; inconvenience and the mental stress I go through each time I call because I have to wait a minimum of seven (7) days for an appointment. When I complained to the customer service rep I was told that they only label appliances non functioning after FOUR visits.This is a very poor business model from a company whose main product is appliances. So here I am once again in the middle of summer with a refrigerator that is not sending cold air up from the freezer to the refrigerator so I dont even have cold water. Shameful. I would not recommend anyone purchase appliances from them unless they have a guarantee to have service in 24 hours from when the request is made. And yes! I did pay $241 for an extended coverage and the service still sucks.

I recently noticed rust around the bleach dispenser of my Kenmore top loading washer Mod 796 2900 2000. I called Sears and was told to call the Rework department at 1-800-659-7026. I spoke to several folks to include John, Jose and Paul (no last name or employee number was given) and 2 out of three said there was a RECALL on this model number and one said there was not. The final person that I spoke to said there was a recall and actually scheduled a technician to come out and service my machine. I asked specifically, since this is under a recall I do not have to pay the service charge right? and I was told, that is correct. When the tech called to tell me he was coming he said he would have to charge me because this was not a covered call. I then called 1800-549-4505 and spoke to Zack. He told me that it is not a recall but a Service Flash (SF26-813). I was told that the Service flash covered the parts and all I was responsible for was the trip charge of $85-$89 and if you are given any problems have them call to this number (1800-469-4663) and reference the SF number. The tech called me back and again said he verified and was told that this was not covered and that I would have to be charged. I asked for their departments number so I can have the dept. that I spoke to talk to their dept. but they would not give the number. I called the 800-469-4663 and spoke to Anna (employee number **) and she said that she read off the notes from the last phone call that my washer was not covered because of the serial number range. So basically, Sears personnel are not all trained the same (leadership/management problem), because of this Sears/Kenmore wouldnt take care of a defective product that they sold me for a large amount of money. Granted, it is not under warranty any more but I thought the company would take care of a defective problem regardless because of their name and reputation. It probably would have been cheaper to fix a problem at somewhere around $200-$400 than to lose all the customers that this event is going to cause. I have made numerous phone calls to see if Sears/Kenmore would address this problem but to no avail. If you are considering buying a Kenmore appliance of any kind please do research beforehand and reconsider.

This dryer always returns clothes fully dry as long as you dont overfill it. Lighter settings are excellent for more delicate clothes and all of my elastic clothes have been fine on the lowest setting. I can usually fit everything I need in one load. Works well for single large items like comforters in a pinch (when I cant get to a laundromat). Easier if you dont do a load of all bulky items. It doesnt take up too much space in my garage and its appearance is fine. Plain white isnt my preference but this was on sale, and its decent-looking as far as basic dryers come. I got this item on sale so Id say the value is very good for the price I got it at. Dries my clothes fine. Doesnt ruin anything as long as you pick the right level before running it.

I really like both of the machines. I feel like they do a good job washing and drying. Never had to reload clothes because they were not done properly. Also never experienced any breakage with clothes.

I came home to find glass on my kitchen floor and in the dinning area next to the kitchen. Further investigation lead me to the Kenmore gas range oven door. I purchased the range january 2011. Glass was everywhere. No one else lives in my home. I very seldom use the oven. Nothing fell, nothing mysteriously hit the oven door. I called sears to no avail. I purchased a $275.00 moderated protection plan. If this has happened to anyone else please provide me with what you did to resolve the issue. Thanks.

I think that the washer is a very good one even compared to the others on the market. It has good speed and quality and is not difficult to set up. I think that it is a very reliable washer. It has never broke on us and weve had it for 3 years. It has never malfunctioned or slowed down or overflowed etc. I would definitely recommend it to others. Its sleek and futuristic and could match in any house. Its a nice size and doesnt take up all the room. I think its the perfect washer and would buy it again. Its the perfect washer for me. I would def recommend it to mothers. Although youre paying a little extra its worth the price because of quality and reliability.

Our Kenmore Elite Microwave we use everyday. We have been using it for years and love all the features. In fact, we have all Kenmore appliances in our kitchen. We use it for cooking popcorn, baked potatoes, frozen and fresh vegetables, warming food and defrosting. And the occasional microwave meal or instant oatmeal product types.

I bought a Sears Kenmore Elite Refrigerator 795.71053.014 a couple of years ago. The bottom freezer floor fills with water and freezes and eventually leaks all over the floor. It has ruined that section of my floor. Sears came out once to fix it but the problem came right back.

It lasts a very long time. I love the ice maker in the refrigerators left door. Another cool thing about the fridge is that it has a lot of space for any groceries you buy. The size is very amazing. When I first got it, it surprised me. The best part about it, it keeps everything nice and cool inside the fridge. The Kenmore 50023 has a very nice appearance. It just pops out in my kitchen. When a family member, or a friend comes over, he/she asks me how did I get it. The value on the Kenmore 50023 isnt that good but it definitely beats other refrigerator prices. I would give it a 5/10 on value and price.

It has a great size capacity to wash several clothes at one time. There is a delicate and regular and spin cycle. I truly would recommend this machine to anyone. This washing machine is very reliable. You can fit numerous items in at one time and always expect them to come out clean and fresh. We have not had any issues with our washer at all. We choose the white washing machine as most of our items are white. The inside has a pretty good size tub and there are numerous options that you can choose from for a cycle to wash your clothes. We paid around $300 for our washing machine which I feel is a great value. If you think about how much money you will be saving from not having to go to the laundromat then you will quickly realize that this is truly an excellent value not to mention definitely more convenient.

To put it mildly, I am totally fed up with this Kenmore Top load series 700 washer. More often than not, I have to repeat an entire wash, as I just have, but for the third time (same load) because the clothes come out with a scuzzy residue all over them. I have tried deep fill, two rinses, etc. etc. Nothing works with any consistency, and it is ludicrous to have paid almost a thousand dollars for a machine which, from its first day, refuses to wash clothes satisfactorily. Is there no way to make Kenmore accountable for marketing and selling a product which is such a miserable failure?

Efficient, economical quality value and dependability! I would recommend this mfg. to all who need a washing machine or a dryer. I would recommend the dryer also for the same reasons as the washing machine.

I purchased my Kenmore front load washer in 2009. All was good until I need it fixed! A technician came out and told me what was wrong...and charged me for that visit! Now a part is on back order and has been for OVER 2 MONTHS!!! This is ridiculous! Sears repair service sucks! I will never purchase another product from them and I will definitely pass my experience along so that others do the same!!!

The refrigerator must be long lasting and energy efficient, and all of the Kenmore brands had these features. Plus I have specific size requirements and Kenmore had the only refrigerators that I trusted that would fit in my home. But I really do not like the ice maker in the freezer. I do not have a water hook up in my home so I cant use it and it takes up too much space in my freezer. But it lasted a very long time and I was sad to have to replace it. I ended up getting another brand because they did not have the refrigerator needed as far as size went.

I bought the Kenmore front loader washer and dryer in burnt orange when we purchased our home. I LOVED them. They worked great for years. We did have a small issue with the vibration and it was loud. We did have an issue with mold, but we bought the special cleaning tabs and kept the door open when not in use. Well, the dryer started going first... not drying well. I would run the dryer 3 times to dry one load. Then the washer went. Door lock would hold laundry hostage... cycles stopping. Id say we got 5 good years out of the dryer and 6 good years out of the washer. We paid through the nose for these things... Really sad.

It works incredibly well and is very easy to clean. It holds a decent amount of stuff. The freezer is slightly smaller than I would like but is sufficient for my small family. It hold most of the things I need but I did have to remove one of the shelves to make the spaces the right size to hold a gallon of milk. The door shelves are decent. It is clean and doesnt take up too much space but would look a lot better in stainless steel or possibly in black. The white attracts dirt and grime a little more than I would like. For the size and space the price was very reasonable but you definitely get what you pay for. The lines of it are not super clean and the style is a little outdated but its not the worst I have ever seen or used.

I felt this dryer lasted a long time. It never had any issues and did the job. I bought it 2 years ago. I was not sure what to expect as our Whirlpool dryer we had before had constant issues. Never a problem yet! Very good reliability. Never had to have a serviceman come out because it never broke. I highly recommend. We owned the Kenmore dryer. I am ok with the looks. It is a plain white dryer. I do not expect much look-wise, as long as it functions and lasts a long time. Great value, lasts a long time with no issues. The price is also very competitive.

My wife and I purchased a Sears Kenmore Elite Washer and Dryer in May 2012. We have found rust on the face and on the hinges. The service staff changed some parts at a cost of $350. The rust was not removed nor could we get a reassurance that the rust would be abated. We found that LG manufactured this machine and we are in the process of filing a complaint with LG. I think Sears needs to be responsible since it is their name on the product. Anyone else have any problems?

Its a great fridge. My only complaint would be it stains easily and its hard to get clean sometimes but overall Im happy with the fridge. Its a great size and fits all my stuff. I could maybe use more freezer space though. It looks great with the other colors in my fridge and works well with stainless steel. Im quite happy with the color. I got this fridge from a neighbor so it was a particularly good value.

No service calls concerning refrigerator, self-defrost feature performs extremely well. Interior is spacious with adjustable shelves. Would recommend to family and friends as a dependable appliance. The adjustable shelves are a convenience I enjoy based on different sizes of containers used for refrigeration. Exterior is easy to clean with very little effort required. The streamline handles make it ideal for almost any design style. Would recommend for spaces that are not large enough for the side-by-side models. Regular price of appliance is reasonable but would look for discount or sale to obtain a better cost. Sales people are knowledgeable about appliances and any additional promotional sales.

I cannot do a large load in my Kenmore washing machine and the dryer has to be started twice to dry clothes. If a pillow is in the washing machine I have to spin it twice to drain the water.

I had not used the oven for a few months in the summer. Went to bake something and the house smelled like burned plastic. All kinds of weird noises like popping and banging were happening. It really freaked me out and made me feel it was not safe to operate the oven and will not. Looking to buy a new one. The stove is 10 years old but if it were newer, I would not be happy and go after Sears. I am not sure if I am satisfied or not because I do not know the life expectancy of a range.

The fridge has held up with its performance quite nicely. I have no complaints on this model or brand. There has been no major issues. Food has stayed cold and freezer works great. The size of the appliance is alright. It could be a little bigger but thats alright. I just cut down on the amount I buy to stock the fridge with. I do however like the layout of the fridge. It fits everything great. I absolutely love the look of the appliance. This fridge is great to look at and it goes with my decor in my kitchen well. I would have liked to see a few more different colors. It was a decent value. I would have thought it would have been a little less expensive but completely satisfied with the new fridge and style.

It works great. Cost effective. Only complaint is wheels come off at times. But the dishes come out clean and the drying is great. If you are on a budget it is a solid purchase. I am very happy with it. Nice size. Fits a lot of dishes, the top rack is very versatile. It can store different things and in different ways. The silverware caddy removes nice and easy too. I really did not get this model for the looks, it was the price compared to other dishwashers that made it attractive. It looks like a budget model, but it doesnt look bad by any means and fits the kitchen nicely. The job this dishwasher does at the price compared to other brands and models make it a best buy. If you want a dishwasher that is basic and does the job right, this is the way to go.

The Kenmore washer was ok. It could have been better. Maybe I need a bigger washer. I feel that maybe the washer and dryers you all make could be a little smaller for us short people cause the tube is deep that we cant reach all the clothes at the bottom of washer.

My Kenmore washer is very good. I wash up to 3 loads a day. Im very happy with my purchase. It cleans my clothes and Ive not had any problems. My washer is very reliable. From large, medium and small loads. Its the best washer that Ive owned. I would highly recommend this washer. Appearance of washer is very good. The settings are very easy to set. Overall it goes well with my appliances. Its a very nice washing machine. The value of my washing machine was very good. If you are looking for a washing machine to get the job done without being expensive get one.

Its a really great fridge. It works well and is easy to wipe down when it gets messy. Its the best fridge Ive owned so far. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a good reliable fridge. It has a sleek look and is also easy to wipe now and the ice machine works great. The size of the fridge is great. Theres lot of room to put everything with space left over and lots of little spots for things like cheese and sauces. The fridge is very very nice on the outside. It looks modern. I love the stainless steel look. Its very classic and nice. Great for any kitchen. The value of the fridge is great. It has a good look so what else are you looking for. Its built very well. I like it very much so its worth the price I think.

I do not look for specific brands when I buy, I look for the features, size and price. Ive owned a Kenmore refrigerator several years ago and have owned several other brands since then. There was nothing I disliked about the Kenmore. If it keeps food cold and lasts a long time that is all I expect. And it was as good as expected.

I am a 68 year old man, and a Kenmore refrigerator has always been in my parents home. When I became an adult and married, the first refrigerator my wife and I purchased was a Kenmore. Today in my Kitchen is a Kenmore. Reason why is because of the excellent performance over the years. I cannot remember not one negative incident with a Kenmore in all those years. I am dedicated and loyal to Kenmore because in my life they have served me very well, I can also say perfectly.

I purchased a Sears Kenmore refrigerator 3 1/2 years ago for almost $3000. I didnt buy the extended warranty because in my mind I spent enough money and I thought Kenmore was a reputable product. The refrigerator that it replaced was a Kenmore and it was already 15 years old and never had one single problem. It is now in the garage. In October of this year, the new one stopped cooling. We had a service guy come out and he said it was a sealed compartment issue and I needed to have a Sears technician come out. I googled it and found that there was some success with unplugging it and waiting 4 hours, then plugging it back in. I did this and it did work, for about a month. I called Sears when it stopped working again and explained I knew it was not functioning properly because the first thing that happens is that it stops making ice. I told them that I had an independent repair guy come out and he said it was a sealed system problem. This is covered for 5 years under the manufacturers warranty. The lady I talked to said it wasnt and that I needed to buy the only warranty they offered which was a one year warranty for $300. They sent a guy out. He diagnosed a problem that wasnt covered under the manufacturers warranty but would be covered under the $300 warranty that I just purchased. It took over a week to have him back out to fix it (yes they dont come with the parts on their truck) and replaced the defective part and said if it doesnt work by the end of the day to call back. It didnt work. They sent out the same guy a week after that and he said it now was the sealed system and would be covered under the original warranty. He told us we should call and cancel the extended warranty. We waited well over a week for another guy to fix it and it took him 4-5 hours but it is working. He said we should call and cancel the extended warranty. I called and they will not refund me the $300 because the 1st repairman came out and replaced a part that wasnt under the original warranty. I explained that it also wasnt the problem. It didnt matter. I will never shop at Sears again and will share my story as often as I can.

This maybe the most disappointing review I have ever written. I grew up with Sears. I have always been a loyal and trusting customer. First of all Sears is no longer Sears. Now it is Sears Holdings (think Chrysler before Fiat bought them). My Story, I purchased a top of the line Sears Kenmore water heater from Sears Montclair 3 years ago. It was warranted 12 years. Over the Thanksgiving weekend 2014 it failed. It blew out all the hot water onto my garage floor. It occurred during the late evening on a weekend. I purchased a new top of the line water heater from Home Depot before they closed and had it installed by a plumber. When I went to return the old water heater to Sears the fun and games began. I started off going to the Montclair store where I purchased it in person. Zero help. They knew nothing and could only refer me to an 800 number. From there I went to 3 more numbers before sending me back to Sears Montclair. The last contact through Montclair referred me to another 800 number Sears is not Sears of old. This is probably my last business transaction with Sears or their partner Kmart. Sears no longer has a reputable service dep’t and should not be trusted for large purchases. I must note that the workers were kind and pleasant. I call it business confusing or intent to cause chaos and frustration with a smile on their face. I wish I could recommend some other store but I have found out that they all sub contract service and routine wait for appliances.

Profoundly bad experience with this Kenmore Series 100. Dryer handle broke 1 week after bringing it home. Washing machine is stunningly bad. I have to wear white for my job and I have to run 3 cycles to get my clothes clean. This experience has led me to refurbish my old machines and expect to see another 20 years of AMAZING quality from my laundry machines. I will NEVER BUY KENMORE AGAIN.

We have tried liquid, powder, and pod, all HE soap, all of which have been left behind on our clothes. Deep fill seems to gets most of the soap off the clothes but other cycle leaves it streaking across the clothing. If youre looking for a fast washer, this one is not for you. 1hr20min to over 2 hrs. The over 2 hrs normally gets the soap off the clothing but not every time. As you can see with the dress, soap spots all over. I wish I would have thought about taking a picture every time over the last year but then I would have ran out of memory on my phone. The one thing the washer does well is spin the clothing almost dry.

Designed to fall apart. Veg/cooler bins on the bottom literally fall apart if not very, very carefully opened/closed, which you must do slowly or the drawers fall out. Freezer is inconveniently designed and items fall through the grated bottoms. Had to put big plastic bins in to prevent this. Light bulb in the freezer is useless, lasted less than a month. You also have to be extremely careful to place items away from the bulb, which is positioned so you cant see it, to avoid breakage. Amount of inside available space compared to outside dimensions is horrible. Huge thing, little space. Will never buy this brand again.

We are trying to prepare our Thanksgiving pies, and simply open the oven door to place the pies inside and POP! Nothing made contact with the glass, it simply shattered all over the floor. My oven door looks just like all the others here, so tell me its not a manufacturers defect. Every appliance Ive purchased in the last ten years has been shoddily built somewhere other than America. I say let Americans build something again. The closer they are, the more likely it is I can kick them when my expensive junk breaks!

I’ve had my Kenmore for about 10 years. I get it checked out through my maintenance agreement every two years. I’ve had very few problems with my washer. One was with my bleach add in tray that started to rust and the other was with the balancing of the washer to stop the knocking sound. Both problems were corrected and are no longer problems.

Pizza oven (721.66993 011) still works but the microwave turntable will not turn and will not heat. I also bought a Kenmore washer and dryer from Sears and got the extended warranty. I was told after they have been to my house more than 4 times they could not give me a new set because they switched companies that handled their warranty work and they could only see where they have been to my house once. Its takes 4 times to be able to get a new set. So now Im stuck with a piece of junk that doesnt clean well or dry well.

I believe that this dryer is a good and sturdy machine. It comes in handy in a pinch all the time. You know it will get your clothes good and dry quick as promised. It is a good washer and dryer that I own. I have owned several one over the years and I have liked them all. The one I have now is still in good shape and it gets a good workout almost everyday. The appearance is good and white, and blends in everywhere needed. No color mismatch there. I love the color but it could be in different ones. I think it would be helpful to all people who needed a good and trustworthy washer and dryer. I would recommend it to anyone, and it has a good reputation all the way around.

It stacks easy, everything has a lot of space. You can put extra if need the extra room. If you give an dinner party you need not to worry, maybe just 2 loads will clean everything. Large room for every dish, glass and even a few pans. It is easy to load. Everything will be clean. No need to prewash. Just rinse off and load. The great part is your plates will sparkle just like your glassware, pots and pan are clean. Sleek, up to date goes well with any decor style you have. It fits very well with new updated modern, it goes well with any color you have, glass, wood, marble, tiles. Or just painted walls. It fits well with everything you can think of. The way that this work horse work, its worth a lot more than the asking price. If you just look at the style, the amount you can load into it, the job it do, the beauty of it. And it use less water.

Work wonderfully, would recommend this fridge to every single person I know, all my realities, the whole universe. This is the best, I tell, the best. It is a great size. It could use a bigger freezer, that would be my only complaint. I cannot fit enough in the freezer, always running out of room. It looks pretty good but hard to keep clean from fingerprints. It would be nice if they werent so expensive.

We have always bought Kenmore appliances and have had great service from Sears. We have Kenmore washer, dryer, dishwasher, stove and fridge and freezer. We have been married for 50 years and always had Kenmore appliances. I would highly recommend them. It is too bad that they have closed down all the stores in Canada.

I needed something to clean my laundry, and at the time Kenmore is all I could afford because I have just moved to another State and I have never gotten another one since this has held up for about 6 years now, and they were used 5 years before we got the set. I hope they will hold up a lot longer. Just until I pay off some of my other bills, I will use this set as long as it holds up. The washer is a top loader, the dryer has the door on the front, and they both do the job I need them to do. I do about 8 loads a laundry every 2 weeks since there is only 2 of us in the household. They are good for the price we paid for them, and would get them from the same company again when we need to get another set. Hopefully I will not need them for a while.

Purchased a replacement Kenmore model 79094192310 convection range in January 2015. In December 2015, oven heat went wild and would not turn off until I turned off breaker. Called service since still under one year warranty. Girl assured me it was a bad heat probe, even though I told her I was sure it was a blown controller. Delaying Christmas baking waiting a week on scheduled tech and probe. Of course, tech arrives and assures me the controller is bad. Although his computer said he had the part on his truck, he did not and ordered replacement scheduled for yet another week later. Totally unacceptable. I then ordered the part online from another supplier with one-day shipment. Paid for the part myself. I will install myself. Tech assured me the range was made by Frigidaire, however, part supplier told me this model is made by Electrolux. Whatever. Poor quality. Will never buy Kenmore again. BUYER BEWARE!

Kenmore is of the best choice of washing and drying machines but they do not last thirty years like washers and dryers used too. I for one am in need of New washer and dryer but can not afford one at this time. Have stretched self repair to my limits.

After the second self clean on our Kenmore convection oven that we paid 1799.00 21/2 years ago the paint under the top and the door is now rusted because the paint melted from the self cleaning. Also the button for the warming over turned brown. I will never buy a Kenmore oven again that was an expensive lesson.

Bought the fridge in October. Month ago we had a repair man diagnose a grind noise and turned out to be ice build up near the fans which the repair guy said should not happen. Said there is either a leak somewhere or the fridge needs replacing next time it happens. Well it happened again a month later. Hoping Sears or Kenmore will help me out here as the fridge is not even 6 months old yet. Paid 3k for it and it replaced our 15 year old KitchenAid that was problem free - just needed more food space. Very upset and disappointed. Please help.

I love the pretty color, it matches my other kitchen appliances perfectly. Its very nice and I like the way they made the switches and buttons on it. I love the size too cause it holds all my dishes perfectly with plenty of space. I love the way its made all my dishes fit in each little space just right. I really love the way the Kenmore washes. My dishes always come out really clean Spot free. I would recommend this dishwasher to others. Great buy. It was in my price range and something that I could afford. I recently bought a Kenmore refrigerator to be exact 5 months ago and its already not working! How is this possible? How can you spend your hard earned money on a product that will break down on you in less than 5 months? I called for repairs and was told why I didnt add a protection plan. WHY should I! I shouldnt have to worry about something so expensive breakdown on me so fast. After throwing away all the food that went bad I had to wait 4 days for a technician. I was greeted with a very smelly, rude and ignorant man that did nothing but tell me that he needed to order a motor and left.I called Sears Repair and was told I had to wait another 3-5 days for the motor to come in and then... Make an appointment for another technician to come in. So what do I do for food? Eat out a can for a week? Will I be reimburse for all the breakfast, lunch and dinners I have to pay for until they fix my broken down expensive new refrigerator? I am beyond disappointed with this issue. I will gladly forward my receipt if requested but at this time I do not have it. Item was bought at Sears (Cottman Plaza) in Northeast Philadelphia PA on 8/7/2016.

My refrigerator is working very well and have had no problems. My food stay cold all through out the year. There is plenty of room for all of my foods. I cant recall the exact size but I am very pleased with my appliance. I have never ran out of space to put my groceries. Its a nice sleek appearance and the appliance is very sturdy and will not tip over. There is enough shelf space to put my eggs, meat, milk, butter eggs, etc. At the time of my purchase my appliance cost $500 and I am very pleased with the whole deal. I think the appliance is well worth the money.

The performance is very good. It cleans the dishes without spots or residue left over. The machine works well and we havent had any problems. The size is adequate. We can wash all of our dishes. Sometimes the tray for the silverware isnt enough but we have four kids who like to use spoons and forks. The appearance is nice. It flows with the rest of the kitchen. Looks modern and fits nicely into our kitchen cabinets. Doesnt look as if it is going to break. It is worth the money we paid. There are higher priced models but this one does the job and is affordable. It has also lasted so it has value in its longevity.

I have a family with three kids. That means a lot of clothes to wash each week. Love the load sizes, helps me get away with doing less loads. Clothes get washed great, then come out smelling fresh and clean. My washer reliability has been good so far. The different cycles mean I dont have to worry about ruining my delicates, yet know I can trust my washer to deep clean all my husbands work pants. Its a simple appearance. Not hard to keep the outside clean. I usually wipe everything down 1-2 times a week, just to keep everything nice and clean. In my opinion this washer has been a good value. This is a trusted company for my family and I do believe you get what you pay for when it comes to major appliances.

I only had one problem with washer. A leaking component in the front middle needed to be replaced after warranty expired. Cost about $135.00. Still works great after 22 years. No problems with the dryer.

I have never had a problem with Kenmore products. The washing machine lasted for 20 years and I was washing for five children and two adults. In all those years, I have never had to call a repairman.

Purchase a kenmore washer and dryer in september 2012 from sears. Today august 17 noticed rust forming around the perimeter of the bleach dispenser. First amazed that this should happen to a kenmore. Then after reading similar messages on the web, disappointed that Kenmore has not done anything to correct the problem. And by disavowing any responsibility for the issue under warranty, by doing this I have the impression that they knew of this issue some time ago. I will try and correct the problem but like many others have found.... rust never really goes away. May be the last time I buy a Kenmore and products from whatever manufacturer actually makes the machine. There was a time, if in nothing else, you could trust a Kenmore.

Into the 3rd year of owning this water heater, which I really loved, the water only SOMETIMES heated up. We started dreading taking a shower in the early morning because we never knew if the water would heat up beyond lukewarm! I thought it was a fluke at first, but now were coming up on our 3rd year anniversary with it and nothing has changed in the disappointment area. Very dissatisfied with this water heater.

We purchased a Kenmore dishwasher about five years ago. Do not buy a Kenmore dishwasher. Parts fail and they leak. Our kitchen floor (new) was ruined. My husband fixed the first leak. This was a small part that cost $5 online. Of course the warranty had just run out??? Two years later and something else is leaking. I guess he is going to have to try and fix it again. Cheap crap, manufactured without adequate quality control (yes I work in shipping/logistics so am aware of the shortcuts). You pay enough for these things but they do not last. My advice is to stay away. There is a reason that Sears is failing and disappearing. Maybe this is why.

This stove/oven was actually purchased by my mother. She loved Kenmore products. The item in my opinion is okay and I have no problems with its performance. Its just not the appliance I myself would have purchased.

We purchased $10,000 worth of Kenmore Elite kitchen appliances, including a microwave. Within a few months after purchase, the handle began to corrode. It became worse and the coating is almost completely worn off. When I was finally able to call customer service, the microwave was outside of the one-year warranty. I had the worst customer service experience I have ever had with a company. I was on the phone 2 hours and transferred 9 times. No one would replace the handle unless I paid full price for a new handle or paid $250 for an extra warranty! Very disappointing - do not purchase Sears/Kenmore Elite.

The washer has a small basin, works well for small loads. Rinse cycle if you forget to place in fabric softener you can forget it. Looks great. Washes well. The washer is reliable on small loads. I would not overfill as I have been left with dirt stains. The smaller the load the better. Its just me so I dont mind. The washer is very simple. Not a lot of bells and whistles. Just enough knows not to look too cluttered. Fits in a medium to small space. The value was great, I bought it on sale at Sears. I feel I got a great deal. Nice washer features I needed and didnt pay a lot for it. I would recommend this washer for a single person or just a couple. Too small for a family.

We bought a Kenmore freezer 2 years ago in June. We saw a leak underneath recently and found they had applied aluminum foil to the connections. This was not something a long-time, multiple-Kenmore-purchasing customer would have noticed within their 1-year warranty. The compressor is also REALLY hot, as is the heat exchanger. Sears made us pay $99 to have their repair guy out, who glued more insulation to the line, told us the compressor temperature and the aluminum foil was acceptable, did not give me a receipt and left. The freezer is leaking today (one day later) and his insulation fell off. Sears (in the Philippines call center) wont stand behind the defect or the repair (to send another tech is another $99). We wont be buying ANYTHING from Kenmore or Frigidaire (the manufacturer) ever again.

Worked great! Never had any problems with it at all. With a family of seven, it could have been roomier. Maybe more shelving or deeper shelving. More compartments maybe as well. Seemed like I always needed more room for bottles and jugs, etc.. My refrigerator looked great! It really wasnt anything too fancy but yet it had a clean sleek design to it. It was white in color rather plain but it matched and has very clean looking. I believe it was a fantastic value including style, design, price and especially dependability. I would most definitely recommend it for sure.

Have a Kenmore side-by-side since 1999. Purchased from Sears locally. Purchase and renew the service agreement for it since appliances are large, expensive, and important. In 15 years, we have had the unit serviced twice. The first time was to replace/fix something in the ice maker which is a wonderful luxury feature, easy fix. The second time, the only issue was dust underneath the unit causing coils to malfunction. Tech cleaned it out, super easy fix, completely my fault. Please clean out underneath your fridge at least yearly. The quick and short of it is, my Kenmore unit has been rock solid for 15 years and is still running steady. Kenmore, good stuff.

The size was great for a family of 5 and never had a problem. We have 2 dogs that shed and the hair is always under the refrigerator but even this did not cause a problem. Had it for over 28 years and ran great. The size was perfect for a family of 5 but the freezer section was a little small and could have bigger. We did have a stand alone freezer also that really helped. Was a plain white refrigerator with textured sides and front but it was very easy and simple to keep clean. The inside had adjustable shelves that helped with cleaning also. I really do not remember what we paid for the refrigerator since it was so many years ago but since it lasted so long I would consider it a really great value.

Installers messed up cabinetry, didnt fix. Temp on oven wrong all the time. I had to build a 2 by 18 plug or it would have just been open to under my stairs.

Powerful washer provides the incredible clean that you expect your clothes to be. You cant go wrong with this washer. Kenmore has made me a happy customer for life now. Its very reliable. I have found this washer to be more reliable than all of the other washers I have ever owned. Its a bit on the small side and you have to be careful about the load size but its a great investment. Its white. Its a little bulky. It looks just like every other washer on the market. The only real difference is this seems to clean better. The washer is the perfect size for a small apartment like what I live in. You can make it work room wise. This washer is a must. It does the job well and does not take up as much space as other washers tend to. The dryer portion of the set also covers everything you need.

My previous Kenmore dryer was twenty years old but had to replace due to cellar being flooded or it would be still working today. My dryer now is six years old and runs like it is brand new. It is very reliable, efficient and trustworthy. It is well-made and strong and sturdy. Has a modern appearance and fits well. Was easy to install and runs quietly. It does the job for my needs, and does a good job at drying the clothes. This dryer was of great value to meet my budget. For the size and price it is the ideal dryer for one or two people in a household. It is a product I would recommend to anyone.

For the price it was at the time (there was a sale when I went to take a look at it), the space and build of this unit was great for my budget. Its basic and I like that because I dont have to worry so much about maintenance with fancy features. I can display photos and its easy to clean. Very well in keeping things cool and stored. The freezer is just enough space for all my long term storage needs and the energy saving feature is a big help. Also, it holds all my groceries and snacks brought in by my family and friends. Its a huge help around the holidays when I got to cook a lot.

My dishes are clean when they come out. I was afraid that there would be food residues and other stains, but that did not happened. It has a great number of water jets that get the dishes wash at every angle. Its just the right size, plenty of space inside to fit large plates and pots and pans. The bottom shelves makes it easy to wash large baking sheets and the separators help organize and allow you to fit many dishes in there. It had a very advanced top of the line sleek look that do not disappoint. It looks more like a work of art than a dishwasher. I felt like I bought something straight from the future. What I got for the price I got was not bad. I expect it will last me a long time and work hard for my family. The price couldve been less which would have been awesome. But I got what I paid for.

My refrigerator is nearly 2 years old. Almost a year ago it developed a loud vibrating noise at certain times it was running. Ive had Sears service people visit three times and whenever they were here, the noise wasnt happening, so they said that they couldnt do anything about it. One of them tightened some screws, to no avail. So I constantly put with the noise. The only recourse I have is to keep calling Sears and hope they will arrive when the noise is occurring, or luck out and get a technician who will actually look into the workings of the unit to try to get the noise to occur. Is anyone having this type of problem with their Model 71033?

The refrigerator after just 11 months, before the one year warranty expired, started collecting water in the bottom floor of the refrigerator (upper unit) and did not cool anymore, lost lots of food. Called their technical repair number, they sent a “technician “ who basically told me it was my job to fix it, that the problem was that I needed to defrost the refrigerator completely, wait a couple days and plug it again in order to defrost the ice that would collect on the back wall and resulted eventually in water pooling at the bottom and not cooling; never mind that it was the middle of summer and that I owned only ONE refrigerator. After many sour discussions with their repair service (How can a less than one year old refrigerator suddenly stops working?) and their insistence that they would NOT give me a new refrigerator, I decided to do as they said: defrost it, wait 2 days, plug it back. It worked for 4 months, after this period it starts all over again with same problems, called again, this time however, I was told it wasn’t under warranty any longer (1 yr 3 months old) so I had to pay for the repair, trip of technician and any parts. I refused to do that for a basically “NEW” refrigerator. I have had problems with this refrigerator every 3 or 4 months and as of now, less than two years old, I’m so frustrated that I’m ready to acknowledge a “loss” and move on, get a NEW refrigerator; obviously making sure it is NOT A SEARS BRAND or any manufacturer related to SEARS. Wondered why they are in bankruptcy? DO NOT BUY A KENMORE OR SEARS APPLIANCE in the short life they remain as a business. SEARS does NOT take responsibility or stand behind their appliances. We should have a class action suit!

It did exactly what I paid for the washer to do. It was able to wash my clothes in a quick and efficient manner. I have absolutely no complaints to report about this washer. I usually have quite a few loads of laundry, as I help raise a good size family. I used to have to wash loads separately. This washer is able to handle much larger loads easier. The washer looked like a typical washer. Absolutely nothing out of the ordinary with this product. I did like the clear door, so I didnt have to open the door to check my wash. I did not have to break the bank for this washer at all. I forget exactly how much I paid for this brand, but I do know I already have it paid off.

This really gets our clothes clean. Its very quiet, wrings the clothes out perfectly and dries the clothes very quickly. It also hold a good amount of clothing so it cuts laundry time. We love it. It holds more than our last one. It has a clean look, too. Its not over the top with buttons. It is to understand and operate. Even the kids can figure it out which is very helpful. It was just perfect for our price range - very affordable though we had little difficulty raising the money for our new washer. But it works quietly and is effective for our daily needs.

Not only is it old it is loud and it has a problem shutting off after the wash cycle. It is an ongoing problem. Most of the time after it finishes wash cycle it remain on and we have to throw the circuit breaker to get it to turn off. It does a good job cleaning the dishes and holds a good sized load.

I bought a Kenmore Elite Oasis HE automatic washer model number 110.27067601 serial number CT0570011 in late 2008 (along with the dryer). I also bought a one year extended warranty for it. Shortly after, the machine had the F1 error code and could not function. I called, a technician came out and replaced the control board. A couple years later, I had the same problem. The machine gets the F1 code while filling. I had to press the stop and start button at least four times to get the machine running again. Then 20 minutes before the cycle is over, it has another F1 error code. This time I have to press stop and start four more times. Being a busy physician I did not contact Sears and just tolerated the inconvenience for several years.I called and schedule a service call on March 20th, 2015. The technician, ** came to my house on March 25, 2015 along with another technician **. They did some diagnostic with their computer and told me I need a new control board. I asked ** what is the warranty for this new control board. He told me its only 90 days. I told him it is a bad product. He proceeded to argue with me he had nothing to do with it. Its the manufacturer of the board. I told him when I bought a machine I dont know whats inside. Anyway, an argument ensued. ** walked out and refused to service my machine. I was told the control board itself costs $180, with labor the total cost would have been $280. The board clearly is defective and theres no solution other than frequent costly replacement.If you take into consideration the cost of $300 with 90 days warranty. Essentially if the breaks down every 90 days, I would be wasting $300 every 90 days. The cost of owning this machine is prohibitive. In summary this machine is a lemon and its criminal for your company to put your name on it as your store brand and sell it for a high price. I would like to request one of the following solutions: 1) Refund for the cost of the machine, $800. 2) If refund is not possible, I request you provide to me another washing machine of my choice of similar value free of charge. 3) If both solutions 1 or 2 are not possible, I request for the next 15 years, that you provide free service and parts every time I get the F1 code. I feel extremely angry and deceived. As you can tell many other customers feel the same way as I have found on the internet. I am livid and would take the issue up with appropriate overseeing agencies to warn others of your callous practice of selling expensive appliances that dont work.

We purchased this refrigerator 6 1/2 years ago at a cost of almost $3,000.00. It stopped cooling a few days ago-the Sears technician said the compressor and another part were shot. The compressor would have been repaired under the 10 year warranty, the other part would have cost almost $700.00, and we would have had to wait three weeks for the part. Just want out and purchased a new refrigerator, and you can bet it was not a Kenmore.

BUYER BEWARE!!! This water heater worked fine until recently - only the 6th year we owned it. It suddenly would shut off and be locked out according to the error code, requiring the gas control valve to be replaced. No problem, right? Only the part (without labor included) is nearly $400 - which is HALF the price of the water heater! Sears kindly offers a deal for repair (parts were only covered for 1 year), but for me, this is about principle and QUALITY! Which is why we will replace this water heater with ANYTHING OTHER THAN A KENMORE (our original water heater lasted more than twice as long - is it any wonder that the Sears in Sandusky Ohio closed its doors?!?). From this day forward, we will not purchase ANYTHING with the Kenmore (or Sears, for that matter) name attached to it. And you would be wise to do the same. Our next water heater will be tankless. Goodbye Kenmore!!

Purchased Kenmore Electric Range Model 79094182310 Nov. 2017. Within 1 yr after using Self-Clean feature which resulted in scorched area to the top of oven door on left side, I called for service. This scorched panel was replaced and I was told not to use self-clean function???! During 2018 I continued using the oven, replaced the bulb and still getting scorched/brown areas on top panel of the oven door even at temps of 425 and above. Called again and tech from Indianapolis came, checked thoroughly, called for research info about this oven, advised that the oven door seems ok but heat exhaust from oven is faulty/insufficiently constructed and there is no repair/solution. This faulty electric range should be recalled and replaced.

Loved the dryer, very fast - I can have dry clothes in 20 minutes. Also the wrinkle free setting is amazing - best part about it. Fits in a small space and works amazingly you should get it. I have had this machine for 4 years now. Had no one to come and repair the machine. Amazing product. It has not broken down or given up on me even when I have family over and do 10+ loads back to back. It looks great and it works great. The size of it is also great. It is also a great buck for space if you live in a small house - the space is amazing. The size and appended are great. It looks amazing. The money was worth what I got - it was a shiny nickel. I had a dryer before that was a couple years old and would always break down. I spent more repair that stupid thing than buy this awesome dryer.

When I had this refrigerator it worked great. It did not freeze things in the refrigeration part of the fridge and kept them at the perfect cold temperature. The refrigerator was alright when it comes to size. I prefer to have a bigger fridge but it was all that I was able to afford at the time. The refrigerators appearance was fairly standard. It was white with the freezer on the top and the refrigeration on the bottom. It matched the kitchen paint well; which is why white is a good color to go with. For the amount that I paid for the refrigerator it was well worth the money. It was definitely not the most expensive model but for its size and cost it was better than the other available options.

This evening my elder father called to tell me that my mom set the oven to self-clean the day after Thanksgiving. She set the oven to self-clean and they went to bed. When they woke the next morning, the oven was very clean but now the stove top will not heat. I told them to unplug the thing until they can make sure that is not a hazard to operate. After all these complaints I am shocked to see so many customers having problems with the Kenmore ranges. My mother always bought Kenmore and when I bought my first and all homes since have been furnished with Kenmore and Whirlpool appliances. So sad to see that Sears is losing their special touch! Sears was always known for their customer service and customer satisfaction! Now with my parents thousands of miles away, I have to worry about their appliances blowing up.

Sometimes I have trouble with it being too full, but it works well most of the time. I have had other washers that didnt work as well and shook and stuff. This is stable. It always gets my clothes clean and the soap isnt left behind on the clothes. I would love to be able to see inside, but this isnt like that. I just know that it is washing the clothes. I would say the price was pretty good for the way that it works. It wasnt the priciest of washers, but I would say for what it does a little much.

Cracks in plastic around glass shelf, put super glue seems to be holding on one shelf. The other shelf plastic around glass come apart cant use the shelf at all. Hundred twenty five dollars for one shelf. Then I notice cracks on the inside of icebox back and sides. I never have put anything hot on the shelves to cause them to crack. My daughter bought me the refrigerator new for a Christmas present.

I bought the Kenmore front loader washer just over three years ago. During the first year, it has nothing but problems with it. I had the warranty so Sears came to my house several times to fix it. They said I was using too much soap. I was not; I was using Wisk HE soap and only using the recommended dosage (usually doing less). They ended up replacing the washer after months of complaining and battling. They made it sound so easy when you buy the warranty that they will back their product 100%. It was a fight to get them to do what they were supposed to. With the new washer, the warranty only transferred to the new washer so it was only covered for the remainder of the warranty.Now this one is having issues and the warranty is up. Sears makes such crappy front loading washing machines and should not be able to sell them. How is it that I have had two different machines in just over three years and they have both failed me?

Its ok. Not too flashy just plain white. It works for me and my family at the moment. There are multiple shelves in to allow me to separate the food and to individualize the food. I can fit most of the food but it can be a little bit bigger but I know you get what you pay for and if I wanted a bigger fridge I would have to increase my money. I was looking for something reliable but cheap because my previous fridge I went out but it works for me. Trimming is coming off after a few years and its not staying cold, but I know I didnt pay that much for it still suppose to last for a period of time.

My husband and grandson both work in construction and have very dirty clothes. This machine does not get stains out. I need to always pre-wash and do extra rinse. This is not energy or water saving! I have allergies and use the free & clear types of HE detergent, but still need to do an extra rinse. We also have mildew problems even though I follow the directions for cleaning the machine. I want my old one back!

We always look for the brand Kenmore as it has always been dependable and weve never had any problems with that brandmaker. The price was perfect for our budget, the style was exactly what we were looking for and it had an ice maker. We like the double doors & its lasted over 30 years with no problems. Though Id like them to have wider freezer side and a different color such as white since mine is an ugly almond.

This refrigerator was a replacement for a previous one that I had. The performance of the refrigerator is amazing. A lot better than the previous refrigerator that I had. I feel like this refrigerator is a good size. Its not too small to fit all of my food and produces into it. I like that this refrigerator doesnt take up that much space in my kitchen. It takes up the appropriate amount. It makes my kitchen look sophisticated and modern. I feel like it really compliments the appliances in my kitchen. I think that this is a good color to have in a kitchen. Its not too flashy or dull. I really value this refrigerator. I would hate to see this refrigerator go. I would say this refrigerator is a lot better than other models that I have seen on the market far as durability.
