Samsung Refrigerator RF28HFEDBBC/AA- This refrigerator has problems with the ice maker. Ice builds up on the interior of the ice maker and has to be cleared at least once a month. The ice comes out wet and the dispenser in the door leaks water continuously. There is also a problem with water leaking into the bottom of the refrigerator and then freezing so you cannot easily pull out your meat drawer. Samsung claims no issues with the unit but from what I see on the internet that is not accurate.Attached is their response: Thank you for contacting Samsung. I see that the ice maker is not freezing, and ice builds up at the top of the unit and cubes come out wet. Also, the water is leaking and filling the reservoir in the door. I know how bothering this issue could be. Samsung does strive to produce quality products and provide best service. However, your experience doesnt reflect this. Samsung products are designed by dedicated and skilled engineers after extensive technical research. We dont have any reported issues with this refrigerator model. Its disheartening to know that you are experiencing these issues. We dont like to see our customers unhappy or inconvenienced; however, Samsung provides 12 months of warranty from the date of purchase. If your refrigerator is out of warranty, you have to pay for the service.A service request was filed for this issue and it was cancelled, as there was no service center available in your area. Since your refrigerator is out of warranty, you may get it repaired locally at your discretion. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. This is what I received from them. Interesting fact I already had the ice maker looked at during warranty and there is a service center in my area. So they dont support the product and dont know who they have in the area to repair the product. Do not buy Samsung refrigerators. No support.

I do not have to rinse the dishes. Delay start, short cycle. The inside bottom rack has many ways to place the dishes in. The utensil rack is the whole length of the inside of the dishwasher. The top rack has where you can put in wine glasses where they are held in place with individual holders. It is black with stainless steel inside. I love how clean the dishes come out. Also no water spots. It is so quiet that you dont even know it is on.

The machine quit working after seven months. Never really fell in love with the thing. First, the racks are awkward. They look nice in the store but you cant stack dishes in them very well. Next, the wheels pop off the rack when you slid it in or out like the designer had been fired from the Lego factory. Next, the depth of the unit is not a standard depth. It sticks out into the kitchen just enough that when you lean against the counter, you hit the buttons on the front of the machine turn it on or off, or changing the settings. Next, the soap dispenser wasnt designed right because if you put pot or a pitcher too close, the front edge, it doesnt open. Then you have to wait another three hours for clean dishes. Finally and the biggest one is that it must have cheap components. It just died. After the repairman looked at it, he said it could be the control circuit or it could be drain motor. Really? Because when you think about it or if you have ever checked one of these out mechanically, there are only three parts that can break down. He mention two of them. On the other hand, this is the perfect machine if you: 1) Like doing dishes my hand. You can even use the dishwasher racks to dry them on, if you dont mind the two cent wheels that pop off; 2) If you have so much kitchen space you dont mind sacrificing 20 cubic feet for a giant unmovable paperweight; 3) The repair person is good friend you want to send business to until the warranty runs out; 4) You have several hundred dollars that you want to either give to the Occupy cause (heads) or the 1%ers (tails) and tails won and you dont know how else to give it them; 5) You have in-laws that constantly come over and want to get rid of them by making them eat off dirty dishes; 6) You love the stench of stagnant water that develops while you wait for repairs. My old dishwasher was in the house when I bought it 14 years ago. Who knew that the old clunky Roper was good and brand new Samsung was garbage? There are only about three functional parts to a dishwasher: pump in, pump out and a control unit. All three can be easily manufactured to function for 20 years. You have to really try to make something that will go out in less than four years. In other words, your Samsung is designed to fall apart in about 36 months. Following a normal curve, some us end up with the ones that die in less than a year and other will get a machine that last 48 months. I have canned goods in my cupboard that lasted longer than my dishwasher! Something should be done. I know this is long winded, but what else do I have to do while I am again waiting of the repairman to call?

Dishwasher never worked right from day one. Does not clean dishes, does not dry dishes and it smells! Tried for 7 months with Lowes to fix it. Finally Had A & E service, which is the service provider SAMSUNG sends, come out. A & E was also horrible. We have been attempting to have unit fixed for 3 1/2 months. 4 no shows and 2 walkaways due to not enough men for the job. After spending over 24 hrs on the phone with SAMSUNG being lied to and given the run around, I thought we had a fix. I was promised a refund confirmed by a manager and to wait 2 more days while the paperwork goes through the system. No call back after the 2 days. Once again - I called them on day 3 only to be told paperwork was filled out wrong. Please wait 2 more days. Again no call back. I called them day 3 only to be told wait 5 more days. When I pressed I was then told sorry NO REFUND, you need to try and have the unit fixed again. Its like Movie GroundHOG DAY - only thing is this is a NIGHTMARE that does not end. Bottom Line is SAMSUNG does not service what they sell nor do they take care of their customer. I will NEVER buy another Samsung product again.

The freezer on my refrigerator went out 2 months ago. I purchased a warranty and the company Avauxco still can not get the part. If Samsung really appreciated and cared about their customers, they would do something to make this horrible situation right. I was a loyal customer since I purchased a washer/dryer, dishwasher, and phone. NEVER will I purchase another Samsung product. And I plan to tell everyone at the store how Samsung treats their customers. They do not back their products at all.

Have owned my Samsung appliances for 2 years, 6 months. The dishwasher leaks from the front just like described by many others. I have found that when loading the dishwasher the last time before running the cycle, I physically push the front gasket all the way around the opening (just run my finger around it) and it lessens or stops the leaking experience. This of course is not acceptable performance but it may help others until they replace their Samsung Dishwasher with another brand as I will do soon rather than spending any more money on this poor performing product. I will say, I LOVE my other Samsung appliances - Refrigerator, Stove/Oven, and/or Microwave - they all work GREAT and would definitely buy again.

I purchased a Refrigerator for over $3000.00, the entire CHEF collection for over $7000.00 thinking I was buying high quality appliances. Instead I get an Ice Maker that wont work and was told by the repairman it was due to the higher water pressure in the US. I have to keep defrosting it with my hairdryer. It is already cracked. The microwave wont respond to my finger on the controls unless I hold it flat not my fingertip. Part of the name has come off the dishwasher. In my opinion and experience if you want good appliances DONT BUY SAMSUNG. They are very poor quality and all you will get is excuses. Mine were less than a year old when they started breaking.

Built new home 2010. In April 2014 after four years, dishwasher, a household of only 2, this dishwasher would not go into start mode and lights were flashing. Called Samsung, they advised no problems reported. Not under warranty, nothing they can do. Called for service they indicated it would cost more to repair, buy a new one. 5/30/14 purchased new same model since only model the store offered. In Jan 2015 dishwasher started to experience the same issues as my 4 yr old model. Still under warranty, Samsung repaired. Aug 2015 the dishwasher is again having the exact same issues. Samsung although stated the sensors have 5 yr warranty now they say they dont and will not repair. This dishwasher has a major problem and us the consumer is paying off it. Do not purchase this model.

DMT300 Dishwasher - Low water level error. Over and over since the machine was just over a year old. Most problematic appliance I have ever owned. Can fix it by cleaning out the level switch assembly. I have done this 3 times. Had to pay for a manual to learn to press HEAVY, DELICATE, and POWER together to get into the diagnostic mode. The manual supplied with the dishwasher is pretty much useless.

After 3-4 months dishwasher has again same problem. Now they are telling warranty is over and they cannot repair under warranty. This is faulty product and have seen many customers complaining about same problem. Hope they had replaced the unit while had the issue during warranty or repaired it properly. OK, I am a very seasoned mechanic. I put a new bearing set in my pile of crap, front-loader Maytag washer. I can fix anything from a BMW to a microwave. I bought this SAMSUNG at LOWES and right after the warranty, the auto and normal lights blink, it stops mid-cycle and take like six reboots to even get going, and 80 percent of the time, same thing, the lights are back. The drain lines good. It hooked to hot water line. Its just a big pile of crap like every other post here. I will pull it out and start to fix it today. From day one the soap packs hung up. If you dont use a rinse product, it WILL NOT CLEAN DISHES. Its freakin required! DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG DISHWASHER!!! Lucky me, I can fix this crap pile, pull it out, and Craigslist it goes. Awful product. They should be ashamed.

When we moved we put in all new appliances... The dishwasher has had repair out twice... French door refrigerator once along with the washing machine that doesn’t drain properly, and as a consequence, smells bad and has to constantly be drained from the bottom making a terrible mess because of the way the drainage is set up. Right now my dishwasher is again having a problem and keeps turning itself off. I can find no leak. I will have to spend another $150 for repair to come out again. I will NEVER buy another Samsung appliance. They should stick to smartphones. In 53 years of marriage, never had a problem with a KitchenAid or Bosch... Should have stuck with what I know.

My husband and I bought all new Samsung appliances for our first home: refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, washer, and dryer. Each product has had to be repaired in the less than 4-year period we have owned the home. The most infuriating by far has been the refrigerator which now freezes over on a monthly, well, lets be real here, weekly, basis. A block of 3 builds up near the fan due to its poor design flaw which means we have the joy of unloading the entire contents of the refrigerator and freezer only to carry them out to the 1980 GE refrigerator in the garage. The sole job of the refrigerator is to keep food cool, yet this product cannot do it. Im angry that this issue has not been resolved and a recall has not been issued. It may sound crazy, but spending my monthly midnight Oh no, its done it again...time to relocate all of the food hours of fun isnt a tradition Id like to continue. I just want my money back so I can put it towards a new refrigerator that will not convert itself into a titanic sized iceberg that, although an iceberg, cannot keep my food chilled.

I paid a thousand dollars for my dishwasher in 2015. I have not gotten one years use out of it without something breaking down on it. In the first year, after many issues, we ended up replacing the board on it. The rubber mat on the top rack and some of the plastic clips in it broke down during the second year. Now the water wall is giving us problems. Customer service runs us through a simple troubleshooting guide just like the one on YouTube then says not their problem anymore, call a repairman. Weve replaced the motor, the sensor and it still doesnt work. Looks like it is the computer board again. I will never buy Samsung again. I thought they were one of the best. I guess I was misinformed.

I had to call a plumber emergency to fix it and pay out of my pocket. Samsung refused to reimburse. Fridge French door brand new doors do not close properly. Service never showed. Samsung spent an hour on phone not agreeing to service and finally agreeing even though fridge is under a year old. Installers who are from Samsung installed doors incorrectly. Again they refuse to fix. Bins in fridge break within a year and again they refuse to fix. DO NOT BUY ANY SAMSUNG APPLIANCES. Its bad enough their appliances are bad but their service is awful and I purchased appliances straight from Samsung not from a store. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG APPLIANCES. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. We purchased a Model DW80J3020US Dishwasher from Lowes December 30, 2015. This dishwasher did not clean the dishes as well as our old Kenmore which was 11 years old. On May 8, 2016 the dishwasher quit working completely (no power on light). I telephoned Samsung support and was advised that a local repair shop would contact us within 24 - 48 hrs. We did not receive any contact and when I called Samsung back on May 11, 2016 they informed me that a company known as Precision Television at 800 603-2433 would set an appointment for repair. I phoned Precision Television and they informed me that they DID NOT SERVICE SAMSUNG DISHWASHERS. I telephoned Samsung again and was told that Precision Television (aka Precision Services) was the company that was going to service our dishwasher. Another contact to Precision Television proved useless and they again informed me that they had no technician for service calls and did not service Samsung dishwashers! Two more calls to Samsung (the last call was May 13, 2016) resulted in the representative telling me that another repair service, Lehmans Appliance would take care of the service. It has been 5 days since the service order was referred to Lehmans Appliance and they have not called me and have not answered 6 messages that I left. I have to assume that Samsung does not honor their warranty.

We purchased Stainless steel kitchen appliances in 2016 and have nothing but issues. Bought an extended warranty and even they refuse to repair anymore. Refrigerator - stop making ice, didnt cool properly, buildup of ice under deli tray, door handle came off of freezer drawer. Microwave - not warm properly, some of features not working. Dishwasher - will not drain water proper or wash dishes efficiently (dirty after an entire cycle, motor keeps running). I have contacted them. They only guarantee a year like most. Thats why we got the extended warranty. Never experience such repairs. Its only been 3 yrs. Something is wrong with this picture. I have spoken to them and they have washed their hands. Even the warranty service man told me that they were bad manufacturers and that they get calls all the time back to back for same issues. Please YouTube the models before purchasing. We are out of $4000 basically. I filed a complaint with BBB. They need to stick with cellphones.

DW80H9930US - My Samsung dishwasher was installed on October 25, 2014. The first call for repair was made on December 5th for a persistent water leak from the bottom of the door. The repair was made on Dec. 26th in which the venting system in the door was replaced. The next repair call was made on Dec. 31st for the same water leaking problem. The repair was made on Jan. 9, 2015 in which the venting system gasket was reseated. The next repair call was made Jan. 10th for the same water leaking issue from the bottom of the door. On Jan. 16th, the service man placed an order for a door latch replacement. On February 6th, the door latch mechanism was replaced. Water leaking and the door popping open without error codes mid-cycle continued. The most recent repair took place on March 14th, where the repairman replaced the whole door. No more water leaking has been noticed, however, one month after this repair, the door continues to pop open mid-cycle without any error codes. The time remaining does appear and flashes. I close the door, and it starts up again and with fingers crossed it finishes, but not without multiple door popping open episodes. Ive checked the strainer in the base and its not clogged with food particles. The top rack does roll forward, and Ive seen another posting about it becoming disconnected from the sprayer mounting at the back of the dishwasher wall. Perhaps this is the reason the dishwasher continues to stop mid-cycle without displaying error codes. My anger is with Samsung, not with P.C. Richard & Sons performance. I dont know, but one thing is for sure, when my 5 year warranty has expired (thank God, I had the smarts to purchase one), this dishwasher is going to the curb and I will NEVER buy another Samsung appliance, nor will I recommend their products to anyone!Updated on 09/25/2015: the dishwasher seemed fixed after the whole door replacement back in March 2015, however, it has begun leaking again (mid-August 2015) from the lower left area at the bottom of the door (the same area where it leaked from the start).

Bought this Samsung model #DW80H9930US dishwasher 8 months ago. The piece of crap starting leaking on its third use and has never stopped. The dishwasher leaks from the doors and seems beneath the door. It has never latched properly so that when if and when it ever reaches a steam cycle without human intervention, the steam escapes from the top of the dishwasher and soaks the entire counter top which then drips to the floor too. Sometimes, I would excited because I only had to intervene with the door twice during a cycle to ensure washing completion. 8 months later, I have to re-latch the door six times to complete the cycle while the dishwasher pisses all over the floor. Ive had Samsung out two times already to fix this never ending problem to no avail and I am working on my third time now.Getting in touch with someone to speak with at Samsung who can get me to the right person to fix the damn thing is a nightmare. After speaking with at least two people who I have to repeatedly ask to repeat themselves because of thick middle eastern accents, I am then told to email all of my proof of purchase receipts to an unnamed department without any point of contact information, whom I am told will get back to me within 24 hours. It then goes from 24 hours to 48 hours (as told by the third person with an accent). When I clarify with her that in two days I should be receiving a call, she tells me that its 48 BUSINESS HOURS! So I now have to wait another week before I even get a call back to tell me they have verified I made the purchase legitimately.So... I email my proof of purchase to a totally different group of people (apart from the customer service reps with accents) and they get back with me about 17 hours later, with an e-mail telling me I need to upload the documents instead of emailing the documents; more time wasted. This is Samsung!!! And when they call me back about four days later, with a blessing stating they believe I made the purchase, they call a company in California who contracts with repairmen in my state who will eventually come to my house to look at the leaking monstrosity. And if they dont get it fixed on that visit, I have to start the process over again. I am disgusted with Samsung and will never. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG APPLIANCES. There is a class action lawsuit with their washing machines right now. I am surprised there is not a class action for the dishwashers. Anyone know a good torte attorney???

SAMSUNG DISHWASHER DMT610RHS, a year and a half old. CE error, nothing works. I first called Samsung nearly three (3) WEEKS ago. Technician came twice, no results. I spent COUNTLESS FRUSTRATING HOURS on the phone listening to Samsungs service music on hold. They promised to call, but never did. Exceptionally disorganized and counterproductive service structure. Calling Samsung is useless and a waste of time; calling the service company, downright insulting. They basically get annoyed that youre wasting their time, when you just want to have a status report. At this point, Im looking at an organized action against Samsung such as a class action lawsuit. We, consumers in similar circumstances, should collaborate to achieve a successful result.

I purchased a home in October 2018 with a suite of 4-year-old Samsung appliances. The only good thing about the dishwasher is that its quiet. With that being said dishes often come out after being washed with food particles still on them and do not dry well. My issues started a month ago when the dishwasher wouldnt complete a full cycle - it was stuck mid-cycle. I chatted with a Samsung rep who said to flip the switch off and back on on the circuit breaker. This reset the dishwasher and it did complete the cycle. Two weeks later, the dishwasher lights were flashing, it was making a suction noise, flashing a LE code and wouldnt power off. I had to shut off the circuit breaker.I chatted again with a Samsung tech, who promised a tech would be out the following Monday. That was the 1st lie. The technician couldnt come until Wednesday and I had to pay $100 for a trip fee (the rep never mentioned this) because its out of warranty. Tech comes out and says I need a new door because the door wont properly lock - which will be $230. I have a hard time believing the door is suddenly the issue considering the dishwasher is 4 years old. After reading the other nightmare reviews on this site, Im certainly not going to funnel $330 into the repair of a garbage appliance - which should work properly. Even after taking my issues to Twitter, Samsung has still yet to respond. Garbage appliances + terrible customer service = me spending money to buy a new Bosch dishwasher. Save your money and avoid Samsung appliances like the plaque! Ive also had to reset the circuit breaker on the 4-year-old refrigerator a couple of times. Never had any issues with the 9-year-old suite of Kenmore appliances in my last home.

Within a week the dishwasher started making this loud grinding noise. The noise eventually went away. November 2012 the dishwasher started faulting out with the 9E code again. The sensor level was replaced again. October 28th 2013, dishwasher started 9E faults again. I will either replace the sensor level or buy another dishwasher. I will never buy another Samsung dishwasher.

I installed new Samsung dishwasher August 2018. Lasted until April 2019. Never really got dishes clean. Very disappointed. Started leaking water and no one around under a hundred mile can do warranty work. Whatever do not buy Samsung anything. Customer service is not helpful even when they admit its a warranty issue. Very overrated appliance.

13 months ago we bought a Samsung Dishwasher: DW80F800UWS. Within the first 4 months it stopped working, displaying an error code 1E and 3E. Samsung sent a repair service, they had to order a part, which was on backorder (as a number of these parts were in demand) and we waited 3 weeks to get our dishwasher fixed.m Last night it fails again. Same error codes. Samsung says it is off warranty so they wont fix it. The service company, Totem Appliances in Burnaby, BC, says they only warranty the parts for 90 days. They wont fix it either, unless I pay for it. Likely about $300. So the $1,000 dishwasher that is only 13 months old will cost me $300 to repair, and no guarantee that this time the part will last more than 6 months. Wont ever buy a Samsung product again.

We purchased the WaterWall dishwasher, three rack on March 22/2016. But we did not have it delivered until mid May because we didn’t move into our house until then. We actually paid 999.00 for it. Up until 6 weeks ago we had no problems with it. We are a retired couple with no children in our home. I would load and use the dishwasher about every 2-3 days. Being only two of us, it wasn’t over worked at all. The Famous 7 E code came to our attention. Not knowing a whole lot about the dishwasher I contacted Samsung and basically got told, I had no warranty. To make matters worse I live 3.5 hours from a appliance repair company. Knowing we could not afford a call out fee for someone to travel to and from our home never mind the cost of the repair, we decided after reading so many complaints about this model we would buy a different brand. It would be cheaper in the long run. My only concern is that if youre going to buy a major appliance. Do your homework and look it up on the reviews. I wish I had done mine and I definitely wouldn’t have bought this machine.

We purchased an expensive Samsung Dishwasher model DMT800RHS 2 years ago. The dishwasher has never ever really gotten the dishes clean, even after trying to change the type of dishwasher soap as well as turning up the hot water tank and running hot water prior to starting the dishwasher as was suggested. The dishwasher is being repaired for the 3rd time now to a 5E error message. According to the manual the dishwasher is not able to drain. At a cost of $125.00, three times now I am very disappointed in the product and do not recommend anybody buy this dishwasher.

We have also been given the run around from Samsung about what seems to be a faulty product - their waterfall dishwasher. What a horrible company, I cannot believe they can stay in business. Our dishwasher is just two years old and quit working. After talking to several customer service agents on the phone, through email, and online, it is still not fixed. We had a local repairman come to look at it, he said it costs more to fix it than what it is worth at this point. There are only two certified Samsung repair businesses in Indiana. The one in Fort Wayne told us they would not come and look at it due to the constant issues with Samsung. We have another one finally coming Monday - we hope (after 7 days of dealing with them to the point my husband was screaming at the customer service rep that was in India because they were asking completely irrelevant questions). If you are looking for new appliances, please do not purchase this brand. We had issues with our refrigerator also. They are poorly made, and Samsung has to have the worst customer service of any company on earth.

My dishwasher started leaking badly. Upon my inspection, the bottom door seal was falling apart/disintegrating. I went to Lowes where I purchased it (this was one month after my 3 year extended warranty had expired) and asked to order the part in order for my plumber to repair it. They could not find the correct part but tried to sell me a part anyway. I knew enough to know that was not a part I needed So, I came back home and called Samsung for help. They referred me to J & J Parts which is their official distributor of Samsung parts. They could not find the individual part I needed. Moreover, they indicated that Samsung built that rubber piece into the door and I would have to buy the door for $254 to solve the problem! I called Samsung back and explained the issue. They didnt seem to care and said I would have to call an official Samsung tech. to come out and fix the problem. So I did that hoping it would cost me much less than $254 and the seal would be repaired. The tech confirmed what J & J Parts said to me on the phone - that I would have to order most of the door piece (over $200) and then the labor cost to add on to that made the estimate to repair at over $400! The Samsung tech visit cost me $97 for nothing that I didnt figure out myself! All this headache for a 22 piece of rubber seal! The bottom line is this: dont buy a Samsung dishwasher (my model #DW80H993), if you did and this happens, dont waste your time and money to try and fix it. I obviously would not spend the $400 for this piece of trash, so I bought a new and different dishwasher with a 5 year warranty.

In April, we purchased a brand new Samsung dishwasher from City Furniture. This was a very special treat, as we had used free and 50.00 dishwasher all our married lives. We got a top of the line one, thinking this way, we would not have any repairs for year. How wrong we were. Within a week of having it, the dishwasher flashed a code, and quit. After calling Samsung for three weeks, City Furniture kindly replaced the unit. It ran fine..for a month. Then it quit. Multiple phone calls to Samsung, a month later... its fixed. Ran fine for 2 months. Since then, we have made many, many phone calls to Samsung. They have: Twice sent our repair request to the wrong servicemen. Escalated our call three times... No response... Who does not service this area. When they did finally get hold of the right serviceman he was beyond rude. But I guess if you are the only Samsung serviceman in the ares (he is), you can afford to piss off customers, because what else are they going to do? Then Samsung sent the wrong error code to the repairman. After a month, the part came in. Oh but wrong part, because he had the wrong code. Gave him right code. Still waiting. Months later. We have a $1000 dollar Samsung 8 month old dishwasher that has now been NOT working more often that it has worked. Another call to Samsung yesterday. Their response was well, we have to wait for the technician to file a report before we can do anything. You mean the technician who STILL HASNT COME??? Time for BBB. Do yourselves a favour. Dont buy Samsung.

Nightmare... Purchased the dishwasher June of 2014, 2 years later water wall error 7E, which is an expensive fix. It involves two motors and a sensor. Called several service technicians in our area, they all stated that there are several service bulletins and TSIs posted for Samsung service technicians in regard to this issue so it would be best if I called Samsung because Samsung should fix for free because it is a product defect that is warranted. I called Samsung at 1.800. Samsung and spoke with William in customer service. He agreed that this is a defective issue with this Samsung dishwasher and that they would offer me a one-time extended service agreement and would set up an authorized Samsung service company to come out and fix it.The next day I received a call from the Authorized Service Company, Quick Fix and they said that I would have to pay for the service because it was out of warranty, I stated what William had told me. They said, “Well, in addition to this not being written in the notes, we no longer service your area so Samsung will have to provide another authorized service company for your unit.” So I called Samsung back and spoke with supervisor Tyler (employee number- **) and Layla (employee number **). They stated that William had not written it in the notes for the extended service warranty and that Samsung does not even have an authorized service company in our area, so they wouldnt be able to help us. We have asked them to review the recorded service call with William as they stated that they couldnt honor because it was not in the notes.I went back to my warranty. It states that Samsung will cover all parts and labor if it is deemed to be a defect issue. We went back to Best Buy to receive assistance with the issue as we had purchased the DW80H9930US from Best Buy. The sales reps, Chris, tried to call Samsung and get help with the issue as they had a list of authorized Samsung service repair in SWFL. Samsung also told Best Buy that they did not have authorized Samsung repair service in SWFL. Best Buy started giving them the list. They said that Best Buy would need to contact Samsung’s ECR service. Best Buy did state that this is always an issue with Samsung and that they have poor customer support and that there are a lot of issues with Samsung appliances.ECR was closed, so Best Buy passed my complaint to Vanessa, she called ECR the following week. Samsung’s customer service agent told Vanessa that Samsung would be giving me a full refund on my dishwasher as they know that there is a severe issue with the water wall on these dishwashers. Samsung had Vanessa fax my receipt and other documentation to a fax number. They were supposed to send fax her back with a refund letter so that I could purchase a new dishwasher from Best Buy. A couple of days went by with no word, so Vanessa called Samsung back. Samsung stated that they had no record of Vanessa ever calling and that no refund would be issued. Vanessa stated that Best Buy would not be able to help me any further. Why are Samsung and Best Buy still selling these dishwashers if they know that there are severe issues with the product and that neither one of them will stand behind the product, so the customer is left with an overpriced appliance that does not work. Both companies have failed in providing customer service and support. Neither one stands behind the warranty. Hoping that all appliance companies will read this and stop selling Samsung appliances! Customers stop buying from Samsung and Best Buy!

I have been in touch with Samsung regarding my microwave since August 3, 2017. At first, they were going to send out a tech to look at it since it completely just stopped working. My microwave is less than a year old and under warranty. After three days without a call from a tech to schedule an appointment to come fix it I called Samsung back. I explained that no one has come by or called about fixing my microwave. The customer service rep said they would contact the company about coming out to repair it. I also asked for the companys number. After still not hearing from them I called the company myself. No one answered so I left a message. After another few days with no call back I called Samsung again and reported the issue. Next, the rep put me on hold and tried to contact the company with no success. That rep said they would keep trying and call me back. Finally, after more than 2 weeks without a working microwave a Samsung rep called stating that they did not have anyone that could repair it and would issue a refund. But of course, there is a catch! I had to supply a receipt that I no longer and had paid cash for the microwave so no bank record. Once I explained this they said they could still issue a refund but it would take 10 days of review and then they would send out an email to start the process for getting a refund. I am not a criminal nor am I trying to scam them. I would much rather have my microwave fixed than purchase another one. But that does not seem to be an option. I cannot understand why it would take 10 days for review. Also, the refund is going to be $37 less than what we paid. We have had other Samsung products that we have had to replace or repair. We replaced our dishwasher and our refrigerator need to be replaced. It has several issues. We will not be purchasing anymore Samsung products or recommending them! We finally just went ahead and purchased another microwave and have the Samsung sitting around waiting for the email about getting a refund. Samsung requires you to take a picture of it with the cord cut and the serial number. I get this procedure but I should not have to wait 10 days for an email in order to send this information in. It seems like a stall tactic to me. I am a service business owner and would never have a customer wait over a month for results!

I am a 73 yo Veteran and have had a dishwasher all my life. This Samsung dishwasher (Model #AA3JAG9MC&05835Y) is the worst I have ever owned starting with the dumb design of the dish racks that make your glasses fall over and dished roll when the rack is pulled out or pushed in. The worst problem is that it does not clean the dishes, I have been embarrassed several times when guests poured a drink and then dumped it when they saw the glass was not clean. I wash the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher and still have to put a lot back in the dishwasher when they come out dirty. Ran the dishwasher twice yesterday and the dishes and glasses still come out dirty. Samsung wants me to spend my money to have their reps come out to fix the problem. Not going to happen, will throw out the Samsung and buy another brand that does what it is supposed to do.Also having problems with my Samsung Grand Prime cell phone. Friends are cursing me for not answering my phone only to find out that the ringer has changed from sound to vibrate or do not disturb WITHOUT my knowledge. Samsung can correct by a simple LOCK function on settings but after numerous calls and requests Samsung did nothing to correct the problem. Solution to my problems: TRASH MY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS AND GET ANOTHER BRAND THAT WORKS.

I have had some of the same bad experiences with Samsung products, so I decided to share my experience to help those facing the same problems as me. I have owned the top of the line dmt800RHS dishwasher for less than two years. Initially the only issue was that the dishes would not get clean enough, so I spoke to the Lowes sales person who told me to make sure the water was hot at the sink before I start my washer. Even though there is a heating element in the machine, this did seem to help. Then, we started to smell what a lot of you are complaining about. Finally, the last straw was this latest issue with the machine filling with water but not starting the wash cycle. It also drains okay. I took the washer outside and removed everything inside it. Dont worry, its not rocket science, you can do it too. Just take your time. What I found was a piece of calcium stuck between the impeller and deflector. The calcium had hardened on the heating elements. I had to remove trapped food from inside the screen. I believe that is where the smell is coming from. I laid the machine on its back and removed the white plastic cover on the bottom that has two screws. Use a flat tip screw driver to release the tabs. Once inside, use a pair of pliers to pinch and slide the clamp back to remove the black hose at about the middle of the washer bottom. Stand it upright and blast the interior with your garden hose. If you live with hard water and your heating coil is covered with calcium put the hose back on and in the upright position submerge the coil in a CLR/water mixture. It might be a good idea to use a dishwasher cleaner monthly to keep the odor and calcium down. I hope I helped someone.

We have been using this dishwasher for two years and regret the day that we bought it. The only positive thing we can say is that it’s quiet. If you like doing separate loads for plates/small items and a separate load for pots & pans /storage containers then this unit is for you. PROBLEMS: The lower rack at front has a set of three rows of tines that don’t allow for easy placement of small plates. If you try to use the front and middle rows, they are too close to the front of the rack for anything but saucers. (If you use saucers) If you try to use the middle and third row, your small plates interfere with the dinner plates. (The tines for the dinner plates are slanted in the opposite direction from the small plates)Also all the tines have the wrong slant for North American plates. If you try to add a pot, the tines are too close together for it to fit properly. (There is a feature where you can fold down the plate tines to fit the pots but then there is no place for plates.) The upper rack guide roller retainers protrude and cut your hands if you are not careful. If we could afford to toss this dishwasher out, we would have done so on day two! We like it even less after two years.

This whole time I have been calling Samsung customer service with no resolution. They in fact, said they also could not get through to the repair vendor and I should keep trying.Day of appointment- I get a text from Tech telling me he will be there in 4 hour window. I asked if he had a slide protector for the floor (which is standard issue for appliance delivery and repair, and what the installers used). He said no. He told me if to have the fridge moved out away from cabinet before he got here. I advised I could not do that as it was too heavy. He advised me to reach out to place I purchased as he would not move. He only replaces parts or repairs. I contacted Samsung, who again could not help and advised me to contact Home Depot.I contacted Home Depot and explained the situation. They sent out a manager with slide pads and he moved fridge out and placed slide pads under the fridge. Repair tech came out. He showed up in an unmarked personal vehicle with another man with no uniform. How unprofessional. All he wanted to talk about was how he was not going to be responsible for property damage. We determined what the issue was, which turned out to be an installation issue. We also purchased a dishwasher with this fridge. We spent over $4000 and this has been one of the worst experiences I have had with a purchase. Samsungs failure to respond appropriately and ongoing issues with this vendor(as referenced in online reviews) will cause me to never buy a Samsung product again (we also have 2 Samsung TV’s).

Bought a Samsung dishwasher, model 80F600UTS. I have had nothing but trouble with it. The first thing was a sensor for hot water that broke. The repairman knew what was wrong but had to go through the Samsung hoops before he was allowed to order the correct part. This was several weeks and six repair visits later. I was fortunate it was still under warranty. It broke again, it is about one and a half years old. The same sensor board broke, but for water level. O, that was replaced, now out of warranty. Today, about a month from the last repair, it has broke again. The same lights are flashing so I can only assume it is the same board again. The repairman is on his way again. I am thinking of scrapping the dishwasher and getting a different one, NOT SAMSUNG. The repairs are now almost as much as the dishwasher cost. Bad experience, piece of junk dishwasher and Samsung has not really cared. The warranty is up and they are not responsible. BEWARE.

Just a note to say that it is beyond me how a giant company like Samsung can sell such sub par products and allow themselves to disappoint millions of customers with their extremely horrible customer service. I cant even count how many bad reviews there are out there about numerous Samsung Refrigerator models, not to mention all the other product issues as well. We too purchased a terrible fridge model RF267 and have been dealing with the ice maker freeze up and water leaking among other things for years. Its appalling to me that Samsung can let this go on and on for years on end. If a company refuses to build a good product and refuses to be held accountable for their lack of knowledge in engineering and complete disregard for customer satisfaction, they should no longer be in business. Bye bye Samsung... The electronic world is far too competitive. Its only a matter of time before what you have dished out comes back to you.

Our Samsung dishwasher started leaking one week ago (3 years old). Not under warranty. It was very hard to get a Samsung approved repairman. He comes in and after 10 mins. and 95 dollars tell me I need a new part but the good news is that there is a service bulletin on this part. I NEED TO CALL SAMSUNG AND ORDER THE PART. Samsung, he assures me, will pay for the part. It is a scam. When I called Samsung, they had never heard of a service bulletin, might not have heard of Samsung, not sure. They kept reading from their cue cards: Your dishwasher is not under warranty anymore. They were rude and very unhelpful. I have FOUR Samsung appliances in my kitchen, did not even treat me as a valued customer. When I offered to send them the service bulletin on the part, they did not even answer. DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG APPLIANCE! By the way, the microwaves heating sensor stopped working after one year. Samsung Model DW80F600UTB Dishwasher - I usually do not write comments about products but if this helps anyone who is buying a dishwasher then here goes. We bought a Samsung dishwasher to replace Bosch that quit working. We were sold on the features & the fact that our longtime salesperson friend recommended it. Really bad choice, From the beginning the dishwasher barely cleaned the dishes. The silverware never ever got completely clean. It leaves a very bad odor when the dishes are done that the old one never did. Loading this thing is a total nightmare. The top shelf is not too bad, but trying to get things in the bottom shelf is almost impossible. The front keypad to start the dishwasher has been difficult to use from the very beginning. You almost have to push with 2 hands to get the start button to engage. Now we can not go out a buy a new dishwasher so we are stuck with this thing until it totally stops working. My advice to anyone reading this because they are thinking about a Samsung dishwasher, please look at another brand. Thank You.

My repeated attempts to get from Samsung or Lake Electronics any documents proving the statement of their technician was laughed at by both Samsung Customer Service and Manager of Lake Electronics. Final answer from Samsung Customer Service was: Your Warranty is void.My technician from Broward Factory Service told me that Samsung dishwashers and other electronics are very bad and unreliable, and that I would be much better off replacing my machine than fixing Samsung on my own dime. Anyway, Samsung dishwashers are bad, and think that class action lawsuit against Samsung and its Customer Service is warranted.

I had to put a dot on it to know where the power is to turn it on and off! Between the two appliances I paid over $3000.00 for Junk! Look up the Samsung class action suit, they knew about this problem and didnt do a thing to fix it!

Does anyone else have problems with the front door leaking out of the vapor collector inside the door? It is vented out the bottom and our Samsung dishwasher leaves a small puddle every time we wash. Samsung said it is because our house isnt warm enough. I especially like that one!! not.. We have placed a rubber backed throw and the tray from our George Foreman fryer to catch the water. Samsung says this cant be happening.

We purchased a Samsung dishwasher on 10/30/15. It began failing and showing error codes three weeks after its one year warranty expired. Samsung sent techs out three times, twice with no charge and never fixed the fundamental problem; the machine stopped cleaning dishes. Samsung made exceptions and we did not pay a cent for the service visits, but it was utterly impossible to get the company to simply replace the washer as it was just not functioning any longer. Short fused customer service at best and obviously a product line that is inferior. A class action lawsuit ought to be initiated against the company for anyone who bought a dishwasher that has failed in the past 5 years. An abhorrent experience with a dishwasher that was less than 14 months old.

I cant find my bill, so to avoid paying for repair costs and all the hassle, I will get rid of the dishwasher and buy a Bosh dishwasher. Another thing, when my Samsung fridge/freezer arrived, it had a big dent.

My Samsung dishwasher DMT300 was purchased in 2011. It broke. Heating sensor needs to be replaced. It costs me $245.00! I purchased this along with a Samsung refrigerator and that broke as well in less than 6 MONTHS! Samsung tech arrived and fix it. Thank God it was still under warranty! I had a Maytag dishwasher that was once repaired due to wear and tear but it lasted 12 1/2 years! I called Samsung at 1 800 726 7864 and they will not pay for anything since it is no longer under warranty. Even the repair technician advised me not to purchased Samsung appliances. We are on a fixed income. We trusted that Samsung brand will last at least 7-10 years! It is very upsetting to invest your money at something worthless! I will never ever purchase a Samsung product!

We purchased a package deal on 4 Samsung appliances in the summer of 2016. It was suggested that to update our kitchen for potentially selling it that new appliances are a must. The units that we purchased from HHGregg are VERY disappointing. The dishwasher DW80J3020US is very quiet, which is nice, but since there is no latch to lock the door, occasionally we open it mid-cycle forgetting it is on. There is no way to continue the cycle; it has to start completely over. We contacted customer service asking about this and they confirmed this. That is poor design. For the microwave model ME16H702SEB, you cant cook something and use the timer at the same time. It may seem like a small thing, but it is very inconvenient. Again, poor design. We are extremely disappointed in the quality of these units and the lack of attention to detail. They are cheaply designed. Stay away from them.

Bought this Samsung dishwasher DW80F800UWS only 6 months ago and have had to call 3 times for servicing for various issues. The first was a broken door latch, second was noises from the pump and not cleaning correctly and finally it stopped draining. For the cost of this dishwasher, there are way too many issues. I will say that Samsung does send a tech out promptly but that doesnt alleviate the frustration of having to call them so many times for repairs in such a short time frame. Warning! My dishwasher broke within a year, under warranty. Its been 10 weeks, six technician visits, 25 hours of phone calls and dozens of emails and I still dont have a functional dishwasher. Plus, one of the technicians uninstalled it and didnt reinstall it, so its not even attached to the counter anymore. In addition to all that, the cycle is nearly 4 hours long! Example of lies I have been told by this disgusting company after they replaced the motherboard, water wall and motor: 1. Once a technician comes out twice, we deem it defective and give you a refund. Its been six times so far. 2. Technician needs to come out three times before we can deem it defective. See above. 3. It doesnt work because you arent running the sanitize feature. Okay, still doesnt work. 4. It doesnt work because you are using regular Cascade pods, not Platinum pods. Okay, still doesnt work. 5. It doesnt work because you are using pods, not liquid detergent. Not according to Cascade, but okay, still doesnt work. 6. It works. I dont remember having you over for dinner and you offering to clean up, Samsung, so how would you know that? It leaks, doesnt even get some dishes wet and doesnt dissolve the detergent, liquid or pod. Model DW80J7550UG. Garbage product from garbage company. Do your research (wish I had) and unless you like to throw away money, stay far away from this company.

I had a technician come out. He pulled up the problem and told me that it would cost $500 to put a new sump pump. Which is more than I paid for the washer when I bought it. The worst customer service experience I have ever been apart of. I purchased a new Samsung dishwasher MODEL NUMBER DW80J3020UB/AA, from Conns on October 13th, 2015. It was delivered a few day later, the box from the outside looked fine, no damage to report, all is good. Two weeks later when my contractor had the dishwasher installed it leaked water from the front of the unit. After further examination damage was located inside the dishwasher that was creating the leaking issue. I called Conns to report the damage and was notified by the manager that it was a Samsung issue due to it being after 30 days from purchase and they gave me an 800 number to call. So called Samsung to report the damage, they listened to what I had to say and told me that a service technician would need to come and look at and/or possibly repair the dishwasher. Fine, a tech came to the house, looked, took pictures, called and reported back to Samsung while I was listening and this is what he reported. There is damage to the inside of the dishwasher that cant be repaired, the customer could not have seen this damage from the shipping container and that the dishwasher needed to be replaced. All was good until a few days later I hadnt heard back from Samsung so I called to ask for an update and possibly get the ra number required to replace my dishwasher. I was notified that the service technician reported back to them the damage was cosmetic and therefore the damage would not be covered under the manufactures warranty. I replied to the lady that the technician had reported something completely different to myself and to them while I was listening. She said that another service company would have to be sent out to resolve the issue. Thats what happened, another company came out and looked at the dishwasher and reported to them that the dishwasher was damaged, could not be repaired and needed to be replaced. The customer could not have seen the damage from the shipping container so therefore needed to be replaced. Waiting, waiting, nothing from Samsung, so I called them again for an update and this is what I was told! The damage to your dishwasher IS NOT covered and will not be replaced due to the technicians report that visited our home. I paid $500.00 plus for a brand new dishwasher that was delivered, unusable and will NOT be replaced. I am not rich, $500.00 dollars is a lot of money that normal people cant just throw away but I guess that is what Conns and Samsung expect. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

Less than 2 months after this was delivered rust has developed all around the water and ice dispenser. We called Samsung and they promised a replacement door. It never arrived. It is now 6 months later and they now claim they never replace products for cosmetic damage. So, basically they are saying that it is perfectly normal for a $3000+ refrigerator to rot away in less than a year and that this is expected wear and tear. In addition the ice maker has quit functioning. If you call support and get Shatavia, an executive for escalation, assuming you had the patience to wait on hold for an hour - just hang up. She is useless for help. She will obsequiously apologize and then basically tell you that she isnt going to do anything to address the fact that you just flushed your money down the toilet. In summary in the past year I have had the following products from Samsung fail: 1: refrigerator: rusted door and failed ice maker. 2: dish washer: Water level sensor warnings. Unable to complete a wash cycle. Works maybe one time in 8. 3: Galaxy Note 2 : exploded, bursting the screen while charging overnight. Not one of these products did Samsung stand behind. So, if you have several thousand dollars just lying around, and you simply feel your life simply wont be complete without products that rust, quit, or exploded at random, then by all means buy Samsung. For the rest of us not quite ready for the crazy bin, AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Please anyone that has had problems with their Samsung Product - no matter what the product, contact me. I am trying to get a class action suit started against Samsung and their customer service department. I have had problems with my Samsung dishwasher from day one and now it is Oct of another year. Samsung thinks that they can run the warranties out on their products and people will eat it and buy something else. If your product has not been replaced or repaired, it is still under warranty and we need to get together and make sure these big companies dont think they can get away with that. My dishwasher has been sitting here since June of this year(2014) with water in it. Has been repaired many times and the last time the repairman didnt even get down the road before it broke again. Having trouble with Samsung wanting to repair again, well under the lemon law with is a law it has to be replaced. They are hoping like a lot of people I will just let it drop, no such chance, its the principle of the matter now. Big companies need to pay for their mistakes so please contact me with your information **. If I get enough I can proceed with a class action suit against Samsung. Thank you.

We bought our entire appliance set through Trail appliances. Nothing wrong with the excellent service we received at time of sale. Installed the units in our new kitchen. At 11 months the dishwasher dumped large amounts of water on the floor during wash cycle. Finally got a technician to come and look at it. Samsungs support for him over the phone was pathetic. Between him and I we finally figured out the problem lies in a poorly designed tub vapor venting system. I have to regularly remove this silly valve and clean it. Just poor design. Now that the unit is 4 years old the drying fan motor vibrates. I removed it from the machine and tested it on the bench. It is not noisy outside of the machine but whines loudly when reinstalled. Fortunately I am a mechanic by trade and disassembling this machine is not a challenge for me. I sympathize with the consumer who has to wait long periods to get an overpriced repairman to come to the house. Further my wife has complained from day one about the poor cleaning ability of this machine. We will replace it eventually. It will NOT be Samsung.

The dishes do not come clean unless you wash them prior to putting them in the dishwasher (kind of defeats the purpose). If you have cereal bowls, forget about finding a good way to load them. The bottom rack tines are at an odd angle and hold some plates too close together. The silverware must be rinsed and loaded working end up, and dont put 2 spoons in the same bin. I work for a Big Box Home Improvement Store. A customer purchased a Samsung dishwasher from our store with installation. Our installers installed the dishwasher on Christmas Eve, 2014. On December 26, the customer called and said the dishwasher was not rinsing the dishes. The dishes had a soap film, food particles and spots on them. The dishes were a mess. Our installer went to her house to see if it had anything to do with the install. No, the dishwasher was installed correctly.I then called Samsung and got the famous ticket # for my client. In the meantime she also called Samsung and they agreed to send someone out. He came out and just looked at the machine, not opened it or repaired it, just looked and said she was using too much soap. She called Samsung and they told her to purchase a special soap, she did, didnt help. They told her to use vinegar in her rinse cycle, she did, didnt help. They told her to rinse three times for every one wash, she did, didnt help. In the meantime I continued to call Samsung to get a repair person out to her house to fix the dishwasher. I have so many ticket # by now it is comical. Never again did they send a repair person to her house. Now her LE light is remaining on.The hours I spent on the line with the call center from mumble mouth world was terrible. The representatives speak in such heavily accented English you cant understand them, and you know they are laughing at you. I had spoken with everyone in the call center since they dont really elevate you to a manager but just pass you off to the rep sitting next to them. With each rep you have to repeat the entire story again. I got mad one time and yelled Dont you people know how to use a computer? I really offended them and from then on I didnt have to repeat the story. They read the notes in the computer. Each 45 minute call ended with a promise to send a repairman out. They NEVER EVER DID!Then when you call to tell them the repair person never called to set up a repair date, you get the famous ticket # again. Then I told them I wanted a return authorization #. Our store was going to take the piece of junk back and give her a new one. They refused stating She hasnt had three attempts at a repair! What? She should have had about six repairs but the repair person never comes. No RA# until three attempts had been made to repair the dishwasher by the Samsung repair person. Constant loop. Fortunately our store manager stepped up to the plate. She is to come into the store and pick out any dishwasher she wants as long as it is not a Samsung. Our installers will install the dishwasher and remove the defective one, no cost to her.

Dishwasher worked great for 6 months or so. Much quieter than previous dishwasher. Loved the extra space on the top rack. Samsung Dishwasher DW80F800UWS. Started intermittently displaying OE error code. We would try again, shake things, etc. Eventually it would run. Now, it consistently fails, having tried 10+ times in a row. I opened things up and clean parts and reassembled it. I tried what I thought was the most vigorous setting... pots and pans with storm wash. Failed within a minute. I took out all the dishes and racks. Now... it works. Bottom rack. Works fine. Top rack... fails.Experimenting a bit, it fails when the water first attempts to spray out the top rack. That nozzle at the back of the dishwasher hooks into the spinning bit on the bottom of the top rack. I cleaned and rinsed it with vinegar to remove any build up. Still fails. Of course I let it all dry and tried again. Now it fails and the top part is still dry. I smack the side of it a few times and now its sort of working again. No telling how long until it fails again. It is so aggravating.

Last year, I bought an expensive top-of-the-line Samsung dishwasher. I thought this would be the best dishwasher I ever had. Boy, was I wrong. When my 15-year-old Sears Kenmore dishwasher died, it was doing a better job on dishes than this brand new $1000+ dishwasher. If I dont wash my dishes before I put them in, I have to wash them when I take them out. And they are never dry when they come out. I always have to dry them. My floor around my dishwasher is always wet because the dishes drip water when I take them out. And if I put 5 glasses in the top, 4 of the glasses have debris inside them when I take them out. Bought this dishwasher to replace the original one that we bought (16yrs old) when we built our home. The old worked MUCH better! The only reason I did not return was because hubby installed it and I didnt want to go through the trouble the take out and return to Home Depot. It is quiet but I would rather it be noisy and actually clean my dishes. Had I known I would be hand washing after running a cycle I wouldnt even have bought a new one. Ive done everything that has been suggested, I have to run it on storm wash just to get them halfway clean. I love ALL my other Samsung products except the dishwasher. Look elsewhere for yours!Pam
