Had the fridge about two years. Water gathers in crisper bend. Called Samsung and got same answer as everyone else I am sorry to hear blah, blah, blah call for Samsung Service Repair. Paid over $1800. And should NOT have to call Samsung Service Repair. Fridge should have been a recall since Samsung cant seem to manufacture a working fridge. Will never purchase another Samsung Fridge!!!!

Bought this in November 2019. Everything was great for the first year. Picture is as described. Sound wasn’t great so I bought a $99 BOMAKER 37 Inch 2.0 sound bar on Amazon Prime Day 30% off and WOW what a difference that made! Then December 2020 came and picture started flickering till finally wouldn’t turn on. I called Geek Squad and they told me my 1yr warranty was up and I hadn’t bought the extended 2yr warranty from them for $299. If you buy it remember to bite the bullet and get the extended warranty. I know it’s a lot of money but you’ll be kicking yourself later if you don’t. Still functions as wall art at least

We have had our refrigerator for about 3 years and had many problems with it. The defrost drain continually stops up and the water pools up in the crisper, the meat compartment and the bottom into the refrigerator. You have to unload the refrigerator and manually defrost it (takes 24 hours or more). This lasts for about 6 months and you have to do it again. The ice maker is noisy and continually drips water out of the dispenser. The ice maker also sweats inside which causes many problems. The doors are very hard to close and keep close. When you shut one door, it pushes the other door open. You must make sure you push both doors at the same time. Samsung was no help even though this is a widespread issue with their refrigerators. Will never buy a Samsung product again!

Unit is a slide in model. Stove top heats quickly and two of the large burners have multi size heat areas. Oven temperature is accurate, easily holds two large dutch ovens simultaneously, has a large viewing window and a bread proofing function. I would prefer that the oven racks move more freely with heavy items. Glass top covers that edges and prevents food particles from dropping between. I would purchase again.

We got a Samsung microwave in 11/30/2013 and by June of 2014 first, the vent fan would come on when no one was home. So we call the repair line and they came out and change out parts. Then one month later, in July 15, 2014 did the same thing and when you turn it on, would get a SE and cut off. When the repair man call me to come out (without looking at it) and clear my schedule, said, I will order parts and then come out, so that means I need to wait again to see if he show up then.

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator model RF32FMQDBSR/AA in June of 2014, and have since had to have the ice maker replaced 3 times for a total of $1000. It originally failed just a year after the frig was purchased, so was no longer under warranty, and that bill was slightly over $500. In August of this year it failed again, and that experience cost $400. At that time the repair company said they were no longer doing warranty work for Samsung due to the issues with the ice maker. Here it is 2 months later and the icemaker has failed again. This morning the tech came out and we were charged $100 for a service call, and it is still not making ice. Samsung wont do anything about the problem. We are probably going to have to purchase a different brand of refrigerator as we have already spent 25% of what the original purchase price was for repairs. No more Samsung for me.

Samsung is a joke. We have a refrig, under warranty. They sent a tech 3 times, 3rd time (after charging us a total of $220) declared nonrepairable and theyd send a check for the invoice total (we submitted all they asked for, including a photo that wed cut the cord!). Promised refund on 9/12/2018. 10/12/2018 the chat guy doesnt answer. Nothing sent. They have trained people to keep you in a crazy loop that makes you think theyre working on the problem. In the end, nothing has happened but empty promises. Do NOT purchase SAMSUNG. Theres a reason for the low rating.

I bought a brand new Samsung glass top/double oven, convection range 4 years ago. I paid a lot more than I usually do for appliances, thinking it would last the rest of my life. I bought the flat bottom pots they say to use, not knowing that if the bottom is aluminum, the burner would get hot enough to melt the bottom if the pot boiled dry. I ended up with aluminum melted into the top and a huge crack when it cooled. Samsung says no replacement top available, buy a new range. Customer service non-existent. Oven didnt hold temp either when baking.

Buyer beware!!! After owning this French door refrigerator for a little over a year, there started to be water buildup under pantry drawer. The water would then freeze and would prevent the drawer from opening. I began the weekly game of trying to thaw the ice in order to use the pantry drawer. The ice would come out in big sheets. Big enough that while pulling a chunk out of the fridge, a piece broke off and dented my appliance. And because there was nowhere for the water to go, it started seeping out onto my hardwood floors which caused them to hoover up. After about 3 months of this NONSENSE I had it serviced. The repairman had fixed NUMEROUS Samsung French door refrigerators with this same issue. SHAME ON YOU Samsung for allowing a fridge to be engineered this way... Thought you were smarter than that. Since that service call I have had to get my ice maker serviced 2 times, dishwasher serviced 2 times and washing machine 2 times. All Samsung appliances. Buyer beware!

Purchased RS261MDWP fridge from Home Depot June 24th, 2013. I noticed rust forming at lower edge of ice/water dispenser. I did not call and make complaint before warranty expired (missed by two weeks). As it turns out, it makes no difference because the rust is considered cosmetic and is not covered under warranty. I had a Samsung certified serviceman come take a look at it for repair. New door and installation would total over $500. I declined and paid the serviceman the $80 for trip charge. There is an inherent design flaw in the construction of the door. I own numerous rental homes, one of which is an ocean front weekly rental. My appliances of choice are Whirlpool. I have had no rust problems with that fridge and it is less than 200 feet from the ocean! The Samsung fridge is greatly compromised by the rust. It is very obvious and I will be replacing a 1-year-old fridge that will end up in a garage.

OK so we have a really nice over the range Samsung microwave that decides that its going to turn on by itself. The microwave got so hot that the glass plate inside broke when my husband opened the microwave door. The glass almost hit him in the face when it broke. He immediately unplugged it. However Samsung believes that because the warranty is up they are not responsible to replace or repair the damage. We will see about that!!!

4 Years ago I upgraded 4 of my appliances, 2 of them Samsung fridge and microwave. Fridge broke in 2013. Microwave broke this month. Called Samsung informed them its not working and gave burning smell and they recommended to have microwave evaluated by tech which I refused (reason written below between they told me after 1 year no warranty). Went to Best Buy and bought GE microwave. Hopefully it will last long. Our TV from Samsung already broke of course. Last year when my fridge broke, I called Samsung. In short they recommended CERTIFIED technician who came and couldnt pinpoint issue (FREEZER SIDE WAS NOT WORKING, MELTING EVERYTHING). He told me it could be one of many reason and recommended to change 3-4 expensive parts plus his labor cost. I could buy new fridge comparing parts and labor cost. My opinion Samsung products dont last long. If you have money to throw, do buy them.

My husband and I needed a new refrigerator, after our Kenmore finally bit the dust. We opted to try a different brand, Just because, I guess we wanted a change. We went to the big-box appliance store, hoping to find something fabulous! The salesman was pleasant enough, and he seemed to be knowledgeable about all of the brands they carried. We really seemed impressed with the Samsung. It was super bright, as it was really well lit on the inside. He touted the greatness of the Cooling Door feature, telling us it would keep our milk, OJ, etc nice and cold, and offer easy access so we wouldnt have to open the whole door to get our most-used items. Its never an easy task figuring out how an empty refrigerator will work when you load it up at home.It wasnt a good thing, when the repairmen had to order a new door the day it got delivered, as it was non-functioning for the water/ice. It also was damaged, so I should have known we were in for it! Ive had the repair techs out 4 more times in 2 years. The thermostat will not keep a steady temp. It either freezes everything, or it gets dangerously warm! We lost an entire refrigerator/freezers worth of food to excessive warmth. I spoke with Samsung directly, and the rep told me to take all of the spoiled food out of the garbage, photograph it and send the photos to them! WHAT??!! It was right in the middle of the summer! No way were we going trash-picking! I purchased 2 thermometers specifically for refrigerators/freezers to monitor the temp. Never consistent... The ice dispenser leaks water down the front of the fridge, so I have to keep a washcloth on the cup holder shelf. The front of the refrigerator is stained from the water on the stainless steel all the time. The inside has a crack right where you open the door. The freezer is horrible to utilize. The top drawer doesnt pull all the way out, so you cannot reach things easily. Because of the ice maker/dispenser, the inside shelves of the door hardly hold anything! Im betting I am forgetting even more of the items that have been plaguing us since this unit was delivered. One repair tech even told me I should consider putting it out in the driveway for a garage sale, hoping someone would unload it from me! Please dont consider Samsung! They make great electronics, but appliances? NO WAY! I have a stove from Samsung that I shall also submit a review for as well.

Samsung microwave, Model: SMH1816S purchased about three years from Best Buy based on their review. A few days ago, the microwave started making humming/buzzing sound even though it was not in use. I also noticed that it was heating up but nothing was showing on the panel so I immediately unplugged and the following day, I called Samsung customer service. The lady I talked to seemed very nice and stated that she is going to create a Liability ticket -which I thought it was kind of bizarre considering that I was just calling to diagnose the issue. She proceeded to tell me that she was referring my ticket to their executive support team (sounds fancy) and that someone will contact me within two hours. Days passed and several calls from me and still have not heard from them. I am thinking about starting a Dont Buy Samsung Crap Page on Facebook, maybe thatll get their attention.Incidentally, their junk of so called products is not limited to microwaves. I have a Samsung laptop (Model NP-NF310) that had the keyboard stopped working 4 months after purchasing it. I called Samsung about it and the guy told me that it was out of warranty and replacing the keyboard would have cost almost as much as the computer itself. I should have learned my lesson from that experience before buying the microwave, but the Best Buy salesman was very convincing (fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me). Samsung - you outdo yourself in producing crappy junk time and again but NEVER AGAIN, will I buy a Samsung.

I purchased an 9187 OTC Microwave in 2010. In 2012 and again in 2014, I have had to replace the control panel due to the 5E error. Samsung insists this is normal, that the electronics routinely fail during the life of the appliance. I have tried isolating the ribbon cable as suggested by some comments, without success. Ditto for unplugging and cleaning the leads to the keypad. With 300 complaints on this site alone, something is wrong with the design of these microwaves and I am surprised Samsung will not acknowledge the issue.

I have owned a Samsung side by side refrigerator (model rsg257aars) for about three years. About one month ago, I started noticing that water was coming out of the water dispenser in significant volume intermittently. The amount of water has been enough to flood my kitchen floor on multiple occasions. I know the water is coming from the dispenser as I placed a solo cup under the dispenser which has been filled each time after a flood. I have also seen the process start myself. The flow only stops when I push the water dispensing pad much like if I was filling a cup of water. I have called three different repairmen including the Samsung authorized repair personnel who have not been able to fix the problem. I have paid more than $400 at this point. In reading lots of these Samsung issues, I suspect that part of the problems is due to the electrical boards being defective causing a multitude of the matters noted in this forum.

We purchased a Samsung refrigerator in August of 2013, Model #RF31FMEDBSR/AA. It worked fine for a couple of years, then in March of this year the freezer part stopped freezing. A Sears tech came out on March 31st, ordered a compressor, evaporator and dryer, came following week and replaced. Took freezer 3 days to start freezing properly, worked a few days and started having the same problem. Called tech service back, came out on April 22 did a recover/recharge. Worked a couple of weeks, same problem again. On May 16 came out again repeated the recover/recharge procedure. Within the next two weeks had to call again with same problem. Tech came out on May 31 replaced Thermo BIM part, worked for about a month. Now same problem with freezer and temps in the refrigerator part of unit is also failing. All Samsung wants to do is send me a certified Samsung tech and charge me a bill... The last Sears Tech has worked on refrigerators for 30 years. Yes this is a lemon, and yes Ill let everyone know about Samsungs customer service. No I wont purchase another Samsung product. This is a LEMON!

Upon moving into a new home, I purchased a 4-drawer Samsung refrigerator. Its beautiful and has a lot of cool features, but within 6 months the ice maker was frozen over. I contacted Samsung and they sent a repair person (theres only one in my area). He walked in and without even touching the refrigerator indicated that he could replace the parts, but Samsung hadnt done anything to truly fix the issues, so it would break in another 6 months. It didnt last that long! Within the next 8 months, it would break 3 more times. They finally agreed to replace it after the repair person refused the job the final time. They led me through a long process of providing documentation and then indicated that they couldnt find a replacement (even though they are in all of the big box stores near me), so they offered me a refund. I accepted it and they led me on an even longer documentation process -- requested paperwork piece-by-piece (first the bill of sale, then a picture of the warranty information, then a scan of the sticker on the inside of the door...), indicate they didnt receive what Id sent and ask for it to be sent again; send the wrong form and after I call, send me a new form, indicate they didnt receive it and ask for it again... This continued until I wrote an email to the Executive Vice President. I was assigned a designated contact, whose title indicated she was in the Presidents Office, who was no better than their original customer service representatives. She only assisted when I initiated the contact and what was supposed to take 5-7 days, took over 2 weeks. Upon getting my refund approval, my designated contact told that Id receive two emails -- one asking for all of the information (ignore it, she said) and a second that would request my bank information to get a direct deposit. Amazingly, Id receive the first email repeatedly, but never get the second one. I now have to wait for a check to be cut. I have already been in the process for two months and am now told that it will be an additional 2 weeks to get a check. As the check is too large to put through my banks app, I will have to drive over an hour to the nearest branch. At the time Im writing this, Florida has just entered a 30-day stay-at-home order; therefore, I will be unable to deposit it for a lengthy time. Buyer beware! While Samsung appliances look pretty (my dishwasher is also a disappointment!), they are poorly made and their warranty is painful and designed to discourage you from using it.

Bought this Samsung refrigerator (Rf263beaesr) because we thought Samsung was always high quality. Theyre pieces of junk. Im so mad, retailers should not sell Samsung refrigerators. I have a GE fridge in my garage, bought it 25 years ago, for $400.00. Still works perfect. Saved up to purchase a Samsung side by side French door refrigerator. What a disappointment. We didnt have it two years before we had problems. The ice maker stopped working and started dripping water into the refrigerator. We had to pay out of pocket to get ice maker repaired. The technician said hes had numerous calls for that same problem in Samsung refrigerators. He told us we had an expensive paper weight. That repair lasted about 90 days. Again the ice maker stopped working. We decided we couldnt afford that expensive service call; wed do without the ice maker. The refrigerator started making aloud roaring noise; the inside refrigerator temp. down to the low fifties. We had toss out food. We couldnt endure it anymore. Our stimulus check was used to buy another refrigerator. We are both handicapped and cant shop daily for food; especially during this epidemic. Im totally disgusted. I feel like weve been swindled especially since Samsung know about this problems with their refrigerators. Unfortunately; we also have a Samsung stove and dishwasher. Wed purchased all three appliances at the same time. The stove temperature isnt regulated correctly. I always have to use an oven thermometer to keep from burning my food when I bake. Id never buy another Samsung appliance. Never!

Our Samsung dishwasher started leaking one week ago (3 years old). Not under warranty. It was very hard to get a Samsung approved repairman. He comes in and after 10 mins. and 95 dollars tell me I need a new part but the good news is that there is a service bulletin on this part. I NEED TO CALL SAMSUNG AND ORDER THE PART. Samsung, he assures me, will pay for the part. It is a scam. When I called Samsung, they had never heard of a service bulletin, might not have heard of Samsung, not sure. They kept reading from their cue cards: Your dishwasher is not under warranty anymore. They were rude and very unhelpful. I have FOUR Samsung appliances in my kitchen, did not even treat me as a valued customer. When I offered to send them the service bulletin on the part, they did not even answer. DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG APPLIANCE! By the way, the microwaves heating sensor stopped working after one year. I bought a Samsung Refrigerator Model RF217ACPN in July 2012 at Best Buy from the Boston/Fenway location (now closed). Two years into owning it the temperature went up to 70 degrees and there was water in the bottom drawers. I did some googling about it and learned that the radiator in the back over cools, then builds up with ice preventing it from cooling, then when it finally melts the water ends up in the bottom fruit and vegetable trays. After two weeks of calling them begging them to see it is a faulty and defective product they gave me a one time service for free and guaranteed it would be solved. 4 months later, same exact problem... water in the drawers and 70 degrees. After calling this time explaining it was never really fixed in the first place, Samsung gave me two options, 1) repair it using their service center (a $400-600 charge) or 2) repair it using their extended protection plan (a $388 fee with service for a year). I dont want it fixed. I want my money back or have it replaced with a fridge that works. What a terrible product... I had my previous fridge for 30 years! This one cant even make it past the three-year mark. Samsung is fraudulent and taking advantage of people. I will never buy anything from them after this experience. We struggled with a Samsung RF263 for 3 years. Finally it shut off with NO WARNING; was 50 degrees when I realized it. THIS is a major food safety issue, especially with elders who may not pay attention and have repeated bouts of diarrhea because of spoiled food! I reported this as a safety issue to CPSC. Within 48 hours I was contacted by Samsung to schedule a COURTESY tech visit - this after they repeatedly claimed the behavior was normal. He moved the sensor! Two years later I can say I am very happy with the damned thing. Had two Samsung Microwaves let the smoke out with a year of purchase. Lowes replaced first, I threw out the second. Turns out the power transformer uses copper clad wire rather then solid. Bought a GE and NO issues. Then there was the LED TV fiasco. Kept turning off after three years. Almost threw it out until I discovered the class action settlement where they had to to come to the home, replace the 15 cent electrolytic capacitors in the power supply with 50 cent capacitors. Turns out there was actually a business where savvy people bought up broken tvs and replaced the caps. Took the tech all of 15 minutes to do in my home. Samsung close engineers their products. I will NEVER buy another Samsung even though I expect this refrigerator to work for another 15 years. Want to get it fixed? File a food safety complaint with CPSC!!!

We got the new refrigerator in April 2015. I immediately noticed the ice cubes came out different sizes and some crushed. Also the cubes are cloudy and have frost. I called Famous Tate in Tampa where we bought it and was told to call Samsung direct. The tech came out and said nothing he could do but apply silicon to seal the ice maker and hope for the best. Well it didnt help and then Famous Tate sent one of their techs and he basically said the same thing. The ice maker is flawed and we will have to live with it. Why? I paid good money for a new refrigerator and it is worse than the old one. I want to trade but so far no help from Famous Tate or Samsung.

RSG257AARS - I bought a higher-end refrigerator a few years ago. Ive already had 2 shelves break as well as the freezer door handle that keeps popping off. I was told by Samsung Executive Accommodation Customer Support that its considered normal physical damage and therefore no accommodation would be granted (for the handle). I asked him to affirm that he was essentially saying that Samsung considers it normal for a refrigerator door to pop off just 3 years after purchase, and incredulously he did. Samsung has lost a loyal consumer of higher-end appliances.

Purchased a samsung dishwasher model dw80f600wtb. This is supposedly an $800.00 dishwasher. It worked well for about 13 months. Then I start getting error lights for no reason. Lowes wont stand behind what they sold me ($2500.00 worth of appliances) and neither will Samsung. I should have known after my Samsung clothes washer drain kept getting clogged with things and had to be cleaned out every month to the point I gave that $800 wash machine away for free. But no I didnt learn, I bought an $800.00 dishwasher that is now useless unless I want to pay upwards of $200.00 to have it fixed. I will NEVER EVER BUY ANOTHER SAMSUNG PRODUCT!

French door model RFG297 - Similar issue to many reviews I found on this site. Comforting to know were not alone. We have had the tech out three times and having them back again next week to fix the excess water and ice collecting below the meat and cheese drawer. We purchased this appliance in Dec 2010 and were told it was top of the line for its class. This appliance is definitely defective, but doesnt appear Samsung will admit it. We bought our Samsung refrigerator in Feb. 2013. Ice maker has never worked. I called Samsung and went through the trouble shoot steps twice. It never worked. The second technician I talked to said the first one didnt know what he was talking about. I called them again; they sent out a technician. They had to send them out of course while we were both at work. My husband took off to be able to meet him there. He called and said he wasnt going to be able to make it and told me to tell my husband to go back to work. I called his dispatcher; he came out anyway. He told my husband to be sure and buy the extended warranty! WHY DIDNT WE LISTEN? We had to replace the ice maker. Mind you it was a brand new $1,400 refrigerator, and the ice maker never worked! Now the flap on the front of the door where the ice comes out will not close, and air gets up into the ice maker and it freezes then wont come out of the door. So we have to manually shut the flap so ice wont freeze. I called Samsung again. They are sending a technician from some place I have never heard of and of course, one of us has to take off work again to have our brand new refrigerator fixed! I will never again buy another Samsung product and will let everyone know about my bad experience with Samsung. Why didnt I read this page before buying a Samsung product!

I have owned a Samsung French door, bottom freezer, model RF197ACWP for a year and a half and have had pooling of water under and inside the crispers and a layer of ice forming in the bottom of the freezer. This is apparently a common problem with this model, a manufacturing defect. I have never experienced any issues with any refrigerators I have owned in such a short period of time. The last refrigerator I owned lasted 15 years without problems and the one before that 20 years! Also, just after a year with this inferior product, the white door handles started to peel, exposing polished chrome or steel. I thought the cosmetic damage was the worst of my complaints! Little did I know. I will not consider buying Samsung products again, as its customer service is unresponsive in addressing complaints.

I have a RFG29 Samsung French Door Refrigerator that is about 7-8 years old
I have a RFG29 Samsung French Door Refrigerator that is about 7-8 years old and no longer within warranty. We started having ice build up under the large slide-out crisper drawer that hindered getting the drawer to slide out. Called the Samsung US for help and the customer service person said it needed to be level - they explained when the screw down levels in front touched the floor, it was level. Of course that didnt work, so called back on a Thursday and another representative told me how to identify the error code on the control panel - that indicated a freezer evaporator defrost system failure. The rep then set me up with an afternoon service appointment for following Monday, and the service company would contact me to confirm the appointment. Was also told that a flat $120 fee would need to be prepaid. The repair service company called the next day and said their first available appointment time was the following Thursday between 1:00 and 5:00 - said the Samsung Customer service could only give me a preferred time, and not an actual appointment time since the local service company controlled their schedule. Also paid them the $120 fee via credit card. When Thursday afternoon came, I heard nothing and called Samsung Customer Service to find out what was going on. The Customer Service Rep checked and found that the first repair service had transferred the repair ticket to another repair service who quit doing business with Samsung the day before my scheduled service, and my ticket was transferred to a third repair service. The Rep gave me their name and number, and said they should contact me to schedule service. (I did check and found that my credit card had not been charged by the first repair service.) I checked reviews for the third repair service, and saw they were generally bad.I called a non-factory authorized repair service the next day (Friday) who came out that afternoon and immediately told me the problem had a factory service repair kit which they would install for a flat fee (suspect it was cheaper than Samsung) and warranty it for a year (think Samsung authorized service was either 30 or maybe 90 days). They ordered the part, came back the following Monday and installed the factory repair kit, and things seem to work fine. I never heard from the third Samsung authorized repair service. To top it off, I got a call from Samsung US Customer Service who wanted to know where I bought my refrigerator. Further, since Samsung could not provide a service tech, they would give us full credit toward a new replacement refrigerator. However, as my wife said, how are we supposed to shop for a refrigerator under COVID-19 lockdown? I told the Rep that I had the refrigerator repaired, and Samsung could pay the repair bill ($300) - the Rep then informed me since I didnt use an authorized Samsung repair service, Samsung would not pay for the repairs and also that I was no longer eligible for a replacement refrigerator! I politely (not) told her it would be a cold day in hell before I ever had another Samsung product. Subsequently, I received an email from Samsung canceling my repair ticket. At least I found what I consider a very good appliance repair shop locally.

The unit worked for seven months and the problem has returned. Technician ordered a new ECS sensor. The part has been on back order for three weeks. Looks like Samsung has a design problem.

I am writing this letter to inform Samsung and Home Depot of a very real problem that my family and I have with one of your products. We bought a refrigerator on November of 2017 from Home Depot. Very good looking fridge. The sales personnel talked up a very good advertise for it and it was priced very good. Also we were told by Home Depot that it had a 2 year warranty. We didnt think anything about extending a warranty due to the Samsung name being strong in our household. Samsung phones to Tvs and computer monitors. Until March of this year 2019 hit. We noticed the bottom portion where the freezer is starting to ice up. Lots of ice crystals forming all over the food. We thought, well maybe its because we are running the swamp cooler and the humidity is entering the fridge when we open it. Never gave it a thought that less than a year and a half later that something would be wrong with our brand new fridge. Boy were we wrong! A month later, my wife came home and everything in the fridge had melted and spoiled! We checked the temperature on the door display and it displayed the right temperature. Or should I say, the temperature it was supposed to be at. After panicking and trying to salvage whatever food was left by moving it to our garage fridge, we decided to browse the internet for answers. And boy did we find a ton of them with these model types. Apparently this model has an issue which you Samsung will not acknowledge! So after read the instruction of the hundreds of people with the same problem, we reset the fridge and its display came back with the true temperature reading. The fridge is usually set at 0 for freezer and 36 for the fridge. It came back at 57 for the freezer and 71 for the fridge. Big difference after the reset. So obviously now, the fridge kicks back on and starts to cool. So this now happens about once or twice a week. We have to unplug the fridge every 2 to 3 days just to make sure the on board computer gets the right reading and clears the glitch this fridge has. And almost every time we do reset it, the temperature is off by 5 to 10 degrees. We are obviously frustrated. But thats not the worst part. We call Samsung to get someone to repair the fridge because as we were told It has a 2 year warranty and we were told that, No, your model has only 1 year warranty. We were shocked! Not only by that but by when we told Samsung that we were told by Home Depot that it supposedly had a 2 year warranty, that Samsung actually came back with, Oh sorry, we changed it this year. How can you sell an item, tell the customer it comes with 2 year warranty, not only did Home Depot say it, but when you google Samsung refrigerator warranty, it also says 2 years. Then when one breaks, back out of it completely and say Our bad, its one year now. We have 2 kids, we are not rich in any way. We work very hard and try our best to do everything we can for our family. We mustard up the finances to buy this fridge. Not only did we buy the fridge, we also bought a Samsung dishwasher for a matching set. And now we sit here with a fridge we cant use. We lost 300 dollars worth of food and have a $2,000.00 dollar piece of furniture in the kitchen now. After arguing with Samsung for hours which by the way were very rude on the phone, they did us a favor by sending a tech out free of charge to look at it. The guy came out, dusted off the back and cleaned the front grill at the bottom and said theres nothing wrong with it and that there was nothing that he could do. Didnt do any testing on it at all! He actually said its probably our fault for by not monthly cleaning the back of it? Are you serious.? Our Kenmore in the garage has been running for 21 years non stop. And Samsung wants to blame us because there was some dust on the back of the fridge? Wow Samsung, you really know how to stand behind your products. This has set our family back bad financially. We have to use our old fridge in the garage now which is smaller and doesnt accommodate our now growing family, which is the reason we upgraded. Or should I say downgraded. We lost a lot of food. My son has allergies so we have to buy the expensive gluten free food for him. We are still paying on the fridge that you wont repair because of a warranty you lied about. Or that you said changed the next year after our purchase. The ice maker in the fridge is another story. Doesnt work, has to be cleared everyday or it wont make ice. All this in less than 2 years of owning it. I will not let this go. I will write, paste and pass this story anyway I can. This is not right for you to sell a product and walk away from a known problem with these model refrigerators. We cannot afford to buy another one and we cringe at the payment due from Home Depot every month. This is not customer service! This is you ripping a family off from their dreams of having a nice home to raise their kids up in and having the tools to do it with. Thanks for crushing that Samsung and Home Depot. Shawn **

I send them letter and call them, They never call you. I was told they can just repair and they cant exchange or refund. I dont need to tell them I need functional dishwasher. They know but they dont care. I am working and I can accept the Tech in my house just on Saturday. I am waiting quiet every Saturday for Tech, till now they changed more than 5 parts. Do not buy their product.

We have had the Samsung dishwasher about 4 years and this is the 4th time we have had the same trouble. The machine comes on and then you can hear the water going to the washer and then you hear it pumping out. Then the lights come on indicating low water level. According to the owner manual the first it happen it was still in warranty. The repairman came out and replaces a sensor box on the side of the washer. The second time it happen about a year later my husband took the sensor box off and replaced it. It wasnt under warranty. We cant afford to call the repairman. The last time I took everything from the washer and ran a couple cups of vinegar through a cycle and it has worked fine until this time I tried to run the washer again with vinegar but it didnt work. I will never get another Samsung appliance again. We also have a refrigerator that has some problems but thank the Good Lord it still works. The model # for the dishwasher is DMT 400RHSAAX. We purchased this dishwasher (Samsung DMR77 Stainless Dishwasher) about 2 years ago, paid $800 for it. It has never cleaned right from the beginning. After a couple of months, the stainless front door panel started pitting. I contacted the company and they tried to make it my fault. Now, the motor is making this high pitched noise that is very irritating. I suspect the motor bearings are shot. I replaced a 10-year-old Maytag machine that was still working fine. My wife wanted to remodel the kitchen and go with stainless, so we bought a Samsung stainless refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. This dishwasher is a piece of junk and I am going to toss it and buy a Whirlpool for about 40 percent less than I paid for this junk. I will never buy a Samsung product again.

Updated on 06/16/2019: Well, hello folks! It’s been a couple of years since I last posted. Still the same old fridge complaints. The repair guy has been here at least 4 more times since 2017. Same repairs, circuit boards, etc. THIS time he said Non-Repairable! But it’s ok, the company said they would send a check for 800 dollars. Seems they subtract the prior repairs from your purchase price!! How clever!! Which means the extended warranty is a joke! Hey!! Guess what! I paid a lot more than $800! I now am so sick of Samsung, that I will never, never again be so foolish. Btw the Samsung microwave has been just as bad. This has got to stop. These companies are not concerned about longevity, just sales. I’m ashamed of them.Original Review: Well, fridge is blowing the circuit breaker again. 2nd time in less than 2 yrs. Took 2 mos. the first time to get it fixed, wonder how long this time? H. H. Gregg in Cincinnati is now out of business, although they wasnt much help in the first place, and ext. warranty is dragging their feet again. All brand new appliances after we got our new house, fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, washer, etc. controls on the stove never have worked right. Anything below 3 on the burners may work, may not. I wish I just had a fridge that cooled, let alone the icemaker working. Supposedly a couple circuit boards went bad the 1st time, and its doing the same thing this time. So we are patiently waiting for a serviceman to call back, meantime living out of a couple of coolers. BUYING SAMSUNG WAS WITHOUT A DOUBT the BIGGEST MISTAKE OF OUR LIVES!!! This company doesnt care about ANYTHING, except selling you a bill of goods! Well, they sold me once, but NEVER again. I thought they were a good company. Apparently not.

We purchased a Samsung side-by-side two years ago and the upper ice-maker started freezing up so we called Lowes for repair. The repairman came out and said it has been a continuing issue with this refrigerator so he attempted a fix because that was all he was allowed to do. We then had to call and request a second time and he said he would have to order parts (that would take a long time to get because of so many being broken). We have now been waiting a over a month with our refrigerator pulled out because the fans can make horrible noises that we cannot endure so we unplug it for a period of time. I bought a Samsung RF266 for ~$1,500. Within 2 years, the sensor broke and iced up and caused the fan to make noise. It was repaired, but of course, not covered under the manufacturers 5-year warranty. The repair guy told me its quite common that the sensor has issues. Having known this, I would not have purchased a Samsung fridge. It cost me about 20% of the original cost to have this fixed. As a reasonable person, I would expect issues such as this to be covered under the warranty. The warranty states, Samsung will repair or replace any part found to be defective. It also states, This limited warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. I think any reasonable person would expect a sensor to work for the full 5 years. And if not, that it should be covered under the above warranty statement. I called Samsung and the lady Ashley basically told me I should have gotten an extended warranty and it was not their issue that the sensor breaks frequently. Theres customer service for you. So I would definitely not buy any of their products going forward as well. Samsung, you guys are pretty dumb and have lost out way more than you would have if you just covered things like this under warranty.

We bought all new kitchen appliances (4) from Home Depot and they were delivered Feb. 2014 to our winter home in Florida. The dishwasher has been used under a couple of dozen times (only 2 of us) as we did not use the place much since then due to our schedules. Arrived in Florida this week and first time we tried, it failed. We got the HEAVY & the Smart Auto indications on it and nothing worked. Searching online we find that this issue is well-known and well-reported by a lot of folks and reading their comments makes us regret buying anything from Samsung. Contacting Samsung was beyond ridiculous.Justin ** | Samsung Electronics America | Social Media Support & Executive Customer Relations made these comments: ...there is no known issues with this particular model. Despite all sorts of homeowners and technical people knowing all about it? Really? And also, ...we would be unable to offer any accommodations. Nothing? That is all you got to say and all you wish to do? Really?I even sent this guy links to various review sites all describing their exact same pain and you are totally unaware? Really? Perhaps lift your head out of the sand might help? We could pay to fix it as some have, but as so many stated the repairs failed again and in some case again & again I feel the best action is to throw Samsung in the garbage pile where they belong and purchase a better and more reliable dishwasher. And now I fear the future as the range, the fridge and the microwave are also Samsung appliances. Why oh why did I buy Samsung? ARGH!!!

The water jet inside the washer is super handy to touch up items with a stain before the load. I wondered if I would use the deep fill water option since my old machine used a lot more water. But I have not felt the need to use it yet, this washer gets clothes nice and clean without all the extra water. I love that it reminds me when it is time to clean the machine. I bought the 4-door RF4287HABP. Initially thrilled with it. After about 3 days, my wife noticed her wine (kept indoor) wasnt as cold as in our old dead LG. I tried about 4-5 different thermometers all with nearly identical readings of approx. 40 degrees in lower door. I contacted Samsung and was told as long as temp fits in their 34 - 46 degree range there is no problem? I said that means I should be able to set it between 34 and 40 degrees. No, I was told. I stated milk needs to be at a max 40 degrees and this is what the gallon door storage is alluded to in their advertising. Then I asked for a sup thinking she was new. I was told the same thing and that my 4 thermometers were most likely off (not considering the whole issue started w/ luke warm wine). I purchased a new Samsung microwave/convection oven to mount over my stove
I purchased a new Samsung microwave/convection oven to mount over my stove about a year and a half ago. Within a month, the touch pad started acting up. Fan and light would come on by themselves. Touch panel would not work. Samsung, via Lowes, was notified, and had the touch pad replaced twice in the next 6 months. The last time, the service technician said that Samsung was aware that particular style of touch panel had a problem in areas where a lot of steam or moisture could be generated. If a microwave over a stove doesnt see a lot of steam, I dont know what will! So, it kept going out. They finally replaced the entire unit about 5 months ago. Now that one is acting up the same way. Wake up in the morning and the stove light and exhaust fan are running on high, and the touch panel is non-responsive. I have to go to the basement and throw the breaker to reset it. This is very aggravating. I am very dissatisfied, and think Samsung should give me a completely new model that works. I will never buy another Samsung microwave oven.

My 3 year old Samsung range model #NE59J7630SS blew a fuse when it was a year old. The technician told me to pull the stove out more as it was getting too hot when I cleaned it. Now my stove started sparking in behind and then turned into flames and burned all the wiring in the back panel. The fire dept called an inspector as they said this should not happen to a stove. I would not buy a Samsung again.

The refrigerator side does not stay cold. Ive had technicians come to the house three times. Ive been told that Samsung has flaws in the design that cause critical areas to freeze up. Once frozen, you have to turn off the refrigerator for a few days to let it de-thaw, then turn it back on again. If that were not enough, because the outlet for the defrost water becomes frozen, you have to chip ice out of the bottom every few weeks. Do not buy Samsung!

Model NE59M4310SS. Purchased my stove on May 16, 2019. Stove was delivered June 1, 2019. Only used oven once and the cook top a couple of times. One week later today, the oven and cooktop are not working!!!! The clock is okay so I know that the power is not the issue. I tried several times to troubleshoot to no effect. They cant send a tech out because its the weekend of course. Shame on Samsung for selling me a factory reject. I will never purchase anything Samsung ever again. Buyers note that model number and stay away from it.

Refrigerator freezer stopped working first and the inside stopped soon after. After calling Sears out to repair they diagnosed it as the sealed refrigerator system stopped working. This was covered by Samsungs factory warranty, (covered for 5 years). After contacting Samsung they had 3 techs come out over the course of 3 weeks trying to repair it. They could not and said we would receive a new unit in 48 hours. After no contact in 48 hrs. I called and they had to do the paperwork. After calling several times for updates. They decided to refund our money because they did not have the same unit. It has been over a month since the unit stopped working. We are now waiting for our refund. They say it takes between 7 to 14 days but the Samsung Reps. say thats not true. They wait the full 14 days to refund the money. So if your fridge stops working please check your Warranty that comes with the fridge even if you dont have a store warranty. The warranty information is in your refrigerator manual. The number for Samsung is on the back of the manual or your decal inside of your fridge.

Major problems with Samsung range model NE59J7750WS/AC Duo-Flex - If this r
Major problems with Samsung range model NE59J7750WS/AC Duo-Flex - If this range is working up to the specifications of the manufacturers design then that design is flawed. One flaw is that there are no vent openings in the bottom of the oven to allow for heat transfer. Vents that would mean the oven could come up to temperature in 10 minutes rather than the 30 to 45 minutes this lemon takes. Other brands that we have since been looking at have these vent slits. It may be more convenient for Ms Consumer to clean a range with a hidden bottom element but if by hiding it you restrict the heat flow, what good is it?Another flaw is that the sensor tells the temperature display 365 and beeps to say it is ready to bake when the oven is only at 225, 365 is still 30 to 45 minutes away. Why was this range designed to do this? To impress the EnerGuide inspector with how quickly it reaches temperature? Can you say Volkswagen?? A third flaw is that there is no consistency in the final temperature reached. Set it for 365 and it may only go up to 345, next time it might go to 385 (as it did when Sears repairman Ken was here. He said he could fix that problem, I said why bother, last time it only went to 345, if you drop it by 20 it could just go to 325.)A fourth flaw is the variation of oven temperature within one baking session. The last time we baked (was the LAST time as we wont try again) it took 38 minutes to get up to 365. We put in a sheet of cookies and 12 minutes later they were done to perfection (the two on the right). The second sheet of the same cookie batch went in just as the first was taken out, when checked 8 minutes later they were already burnt. Usually, when you open the oven door to take something out and then put something in the temperature drops, in this case it must have risen substantially to burn the cookies in 8 minutes. There is no rhyme nor reason for the temperature variations with this thing. You say There is no repair solution that can be attempted by our technicians as after multiple visits we have not detected any fault with the unit. That is not true. Your guy Ken can attest to the fact that it took 45 minutes to get up to temperature and that the final temperature was 20 degrees higher than the setting. He wasnt here when it only went to 345, he hasnt been here when the wild fluctuations have occurred. Have him spend a day here checking it out, hell tell you whats what. Better yet have him take it home and make HIS wife try to use it! We arent going to anymore! For more than 45 years we have put our faith in Sears and Sears products. Now, at the first instance of a problem Sears has failed us. Well see if a media investigative reporter will be interested in this matter as we have had no luck getting Samsung or Sears to see reason. CBC, CTV & Global for a start.

Good day, I am writing to you today in regards to an ongoing issue that I have been having with my fridge and the lack of customer service I have been receiving from Samsung. My transaction # **. My fridge was bought in 2012 and I have been having major issues with it since 2014. In 2014 I had to replace the main board because it completely shut down. A few months later, it started making loud noises and leaking from the bottom. As I had just spent $1,100 on the fridge in 2012 and another $425 in 2014 including parts and labor, I was hoping these issues were manageable. Recently it has not been cooling properly and I have lost a lot of food. I have been in contact with numerous departments within Samsung in the past couple of weeks and I did manage to get someone have a Samsung-approved company come out and diagnose it at no charge. When the company came out, they determined that the fridge needed 6 parts and the total including labor would be $628. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with this issue as Samsung is supposed to be of high quality and should stand behind their products. I understand that my product is out of the 1 year warranty but lets be honest, Im looking at having to spend a total of over $1000 in less than 5 years on what is supposed to be a quality product. I am seeking help from Samsung in the cost of fixing my fridge and they all say that there is absolutely nothing they can do for me. I am a loyal Samsung customer with my fridge, washer, TV, Blu-ray and cell phones being Samsung. I am in desperate need of help as soon as possible as I have 2 disabled people that have meds that have to be refrigerated and a 2-year old.

We are totally dissatisfied with Samsungs French door refrigerator (RF26VAB
We are totally dissatisfied with Samsungs French door refrigerator (RF26VABWF) and totally frustrated with dealing with their appointed service representative - Lakes Electronics. We purchased a French door refrigerator December 2008. By March 2012, the refrigerator stopped cooling. Between Lowes service company and then Samsungs factory service unit (Lakes Electronics) it took three trips and $570 dollars to get serviceable.Three years later, the refrigerator started leaking water from the unit that was replaced in 2012. We called Lakes Electronics directly for service, who responded appropriately the next day. The repair person defrosted the leaking unit, charged the standard fee, and gave us his directed contact number. Within a few days the refrigerator started leaking water again, we waited a few days in hopes that it would corrected itself and called for another service trip. On the second trip, the service rep took the unit apart, supposedly unfroze the drain line and told us that he would check with Samsung to try to diagnose the problem. He said that he should have an answer in a day and a half.Needless to say, the leak resumed within two days. The rep failed call with the status of the claim. We called him twice after a week, but he failed to answer and failed to return the call. We infer that he had no idea what was wrong. We dont know if he neglected to contact Samsung or Samsung didnt know how to fix the problem. Now we contacted Lakes again. We get the answer that they will send the same representative out and that they will charges us again. In effect, they promised fix our flat tire by filling it with air but not find the nail that causes the flat. When we question whether they guarantee that the problem is fixed, we get a run-around. When we ask to discuss the issue with supervisory staff, we are put on permanent hold.In addition to the above tale of woe, the ice maker stopped working a couple years ago. Plus the cold water runs so slowly, it is totally worthless. These problems were true with a brand new filter. The filters cost $40 every six months. With the rest of our frustrations with our purchase of the refrigerator we havent even considered bringing service in for ice and water line problems. For sure, we will never buy another Samsung appliance.

Well, here are my 2 cents worth - we also had our almost 2-year-old Samsung microwave SMH9187B start turning on by itself (baked potato feature). This has got to be a safety issue! Then, more and more, we got the SE showing up on the display. My husband managed to fix it a few times by taking the control panel apart and trying to protect it from what he figured was happening - oxidization of contacts whenever steam from the oven/ stove below got into it or maybe even if it got quite steamy inside the microwave. Now its definitely dead, though, and when he spent an hour on the phone to Samsung, they acted as if it was a problem theyd never heard of before and refused to do anything about it. I cant believe theyd ignore so many people with the same defective microwave.

My Samsung refrigerator was ordered from Home Depot and scheduled for delivery on 12/2/2013 by 11am. At noon on 12/2/2013, I called Samsung at 855-681-6917 to find out what the delay was. I was told by Samsung that the delivery date had been moved to 12/3/2013 and given no reason for the delay. Later, I received the automated call telling me my new delivery time on 12/3/2013. At 9:30am on 12/3/2013, a representative named Trey from Samsung told me that my unit was damaged and would not be delivered. He would get back with me within 48 hours to let me know my new delivery date. Well, no one called so I called them three days later to find out the status of my delivery. They said it would be 3/4/2014 before I could get my new fridge. Sorry guys, but no one keeps my money for 3 months with no performance. I will cancel my order on 12/9/2013. Also note that when I place the fridge in my shopping cart on the Home Depot site, it shows an estimated delivery date in January. Whats wrong with this picture??? Its a big fat lie. Drain tubes on these units are undersized causing the ice maker to not work and water to leak out from under their freshness trap. Weve now had two floods in our kitchen and no ice. Our appliance repair service was well aware of these problems. Our unit is 4 years old and no longer in warranty. The repair cost will be $800 to fix.

Purchased a Samsung refrigerator RF220NCTASR/AA September 2016 In January. I experienced food poisoning and food spoilage. I bought a thermometer to check temperature and it was hovering at 42 degrees even when turned up all the way! There is no way to know how long this was going on!! Service response was terrible and I was forced to wait almost two weeks for a tech to come out and slap in a new assembly cover on Feb 1st. The next day the problem was worse. The temperature would go from 32-42 degrees in as little as 30 minutes. I still have not been able to use the refrigerator as it is unsafe and they will not come back out to service until Feb 6th. Meanwhile, I have called corporate demanding a new fridge from Samsung, hhgregg and have file complaints with the BBB, local TV stations, and newspaper.

The refrigerator works well, but I clean it weekly to keep in good condition. Its heavy so moving to clean vents behind is a chore, but I do it at least every 6 months to keep it going. Some of the plastic parts just snap and break apart. All of my plastic drawers for vegetables/fruits and frozen foods broke and are held together with rubber bands. Water dispenser works fine but filters expensive and the area where the water comes out has rusted onto the door. But hasnt broken in 5 years. Ice dispenser works best on cubes, but not crushed ice.

Dishwasher worked great for 6 months or so. Much quieter than previous dishwasher. Loved the extra space on the top rack. Samsung Dishwasher DW80F800UWS. Started intermittently displaying OE error code. We would try again, shake things, etc. Eventually it would run. Now, it consistently fails, having tried 10+ times in a row. I opened things up and clean parts and reassembled it. I tried what I thought was the most vigorous setting... pots and pans with storm wash. Failed within a minute. I took out all the dishes and racks. Now... it works. Bottom rack. Works fine. Top rack... fails.Experimenting a bit, it fails when the water first attempts to spray out the top rack. That nozzle at the back of the dishwasher hooks into the spinning bit on the bottom of the top rack. I cleaned and rinsed it with vinegar to remove any build up. Still fails. Of course I let it all dry and tried again. Now it fails and the top part is still dry. I smack the side of it a few times and now its sort of working again. No telling how long until it fails again. It is so aggravating.

My dad, my brother, my father-in-law, and my brother-in-law told me not to go with Samsung, but I didnt listen. Now, Im paying the price. In less than 8mo Ive had 5 technician visits to attempt to fix my dishwasher. After 5 visits I finally got frustrated, and decided to call samsung to see if they would replace my dishwasher since its obviously defective. In short, their answer was no! First time the dishwasher broke was about 4mo after I purchased it. It would stop mid cycle with an error code which meant that it got too hot. That took 2 visits and as many weeks to repair. At the 7mo mark (July 1st), it stopped washing the dishes in the bottom rack properly. I contacted Samsung July 3rd. It’s July 24th and the dishwasher is still not repaired. Technician came out and said that he had to replace two parts, the bottom spray rail and the control panel. He had to order them. That was visit #3. Visit #4 was when he came to replace the parts. After a couple of hours of work the dishwasher was still not repaired. He said that there was another part broken, the motor that moves the rail. He’s suppose to come back Wednesday, July 29th. In the past 8mo, according to my count, 4 different parts have broken on Samsung’s “top of the line” dishwasher. I hope my review keeps someone from making the same mistake I made. moral of the story: listen to advice...do not buy samsung appliances. Theyre inferior quality. We bought a Samsung Appliance package in September 2014. I have not been happy with any of the appliances. You must wash the dishes before loading them into the dishwasher, or the food will still be on them after a heavy load cycle. I do love that dishwasher is super quiet, which is the reason I was attracted to it. My Range makes a rattle noise when the fan kicks on, and I do not believe it cooks as well as my previous unit. My microwave sensors are WAY off, and we have tried to fix, but again, either the popcorn burns or pops 3 kernels. It too rattles. These are all issues I can deal with.My biggest issue is the refrigerator. We are currently on our FOURTH unit. The first unit would only cool to 42 degrees. The second unit wouldnt even power up when they brought it out. The third unit the doors would not close completely even though they worked and tried to adjust. Installers said the brackets were not aligned correctly. So, I finally after months of hassle get a new one. Whew... Or so I thought. I have had 5 service appointments to fix the same issues on this unit and am still having issues. When I contacted Samsung today, I was told they were sorry, but it was out of warranty. Even though the issues are documented. We escalated and were told they would do us a one time favor to have another technician come out. Im not sure why. It is clearly a design flaw. My ice is slush, I always get about a 1/8 cup of water first before hitting the ice button due to the melted ice. The ice drips to the bottom of the panel and then freezes like a rock jamming the ice maker. I am told that it is due to putting groceries in my refrigerator (someone PLEASE tell me this is NOT the answer I got!) What are you supposed to do with a refrigerator if you cannot put groceries in it!?I was also told that the low ice production was not due to melting (mind you I have puddles of water) but due to overuse. We have 2 adults and 2 kids and use a very minimal amount of ice. If it cannot keep up with our demands, it should not even be an option! I use the power freeze and power cool button when we stock the fridge to keep it from warming down too much, as the last technician recommended, but this isnt the answer either. Id love to have my $3K+ back and go back to my ugly, but extremely useful old appliances! The pages of reviews tell me this is a lemon, but Samsung refuses to do anything about it!

The settings and all the special features are easy to use, everything is so clean and easy to use.

We just remolded our house. We had beautiful hardwood floors installed throughout the house including the kitchen. We bought new appliances, a Samsung package including the Refrigerator, Stove, Microwave, and Dishwasher. All of the appliances are junk. The biggest kicker is that our new 6 month old refrigerator flooded our entire house. The hardwood kitchen floors are ruined and the basement is soaked in water. I was told, not to buy Samsung and I did anyway. What a mistake that was. 1000s of dollars of repair to do. Already the stress of the drying machines to suck up the water is maddening. DO NOT EVER BUY SAMSUNG APPLIANCES. YOU WILL REGRET IT. They deserve to be sued!

Had the fridge for about 9 months and a fan started to make noise, then it stopped cooling altogether... Called the local warranty service and waited for over two weeks. Finally called and they were waiting for almost a dozen parts. Still without the fridge for over three weeks. Then the ice couldnt decide whether to dispense ice or water. It would indicate water then dispense ice. Paid more for supposedly a higher quality product but turned out to be a turkey. Never a Samsung product again.

Do not consider buying Samsung ranges. We bought an expensive induction range and had 10 repair visits within the first year. Nothing changed and there are still many problems with the unit. Despite many attempts to get the unit fixed, Samsung refuses to repair this unit. Stay away!!!

My microwave, purchased in late 2010 finally started showing the dreaded SE error message about two weeks ago. The device appeared to be getting phantom button presses (fortunately not the start button) and beeping until I pulled the power plug. Tried a few times to clean the flex cable connecting the keypad to the controller card, but now that only makes it functional for a day or two. Was amazed to see that this fragile connection spans 8+ years of production. Seeing that this has happened to so many others, makes me feel lucky that I got this much use out of it.

I bought a new fridge five days ago, with a lower freezer, model RF4287HARS. It was plugged in by the delivery tech and set to specific settings. The same day, water began to build in the vegetable bin. We cleaned it and shortly afterwards, moisture was building up. Samsung is lame at acknowledging fault and the extended warranty is quick to remind me that the manufacturer warranty is in effect. I will drop this pretty, but lame product made by Samsung, in the store today.

The story begins less than four years ago. We purchased an entire suite of Samsung kitchen appliances – range, refrigerator, dishwasher and over the range microwave. Since installation (less than 4 years ago) the range began turning on (by itself), a clearly dangerous situation. We found online that this has happened before with terrible consequences. We replaced this range with a Frigidaire range. So far, no issues. Now the dishwasher is not drying. I went through the manual and completed all recommended options to resolve this issue. I am now shopping for a new dishwasher, as nothing I have done seems to make the dishes dry. The refrigerators ice maker has always been an issue in that it does make ice but very inconsistently. The cubes are malformed and at times, it simply stops only to start again whenever it feels like it. I can say that the microwave has, so far, not given us any issues. I would like to warn anyone considering the purchase of any Samsung kitchen appliances to do your online research. I believe that if I had done so prior to investing thousands of dollars with Samsung appliance, I would have thought better.

After 3 years, the Ice machine flapper broke displacing water all over my wooden floor. I called several places for repair and they all did the same thing when I said I had a Samsung, that was to list off many, many things that go wrong with it. It will cost me over $500 to fix a 3 year old refrigerator. I dont want to spend that much money, when I could have a new fridge for $1500.I called Samsung, not to get anything for free but just to ask if they would give me a discount to buy to fridge. Anything to show customer service on a 3 year old fridge. They basically said they wouldnt, they didnt care if I badmouth them, didnt care if I took to social media. They plain didnt give a **. Ill do my best to get the word out there. I will never buy another Samsung product ever again. Buyer beware.

Never buy a Samsung fridge. They are awful. I have had nothing but issues with mine. $2,500 for a refrigerator that is constantly breaking, plus the cost of buying the extended warranties every year. The 25 year old fridge I have in my garage works better than my brand new one. I will never recommend to anyone to buy this brand of appliance. Wish I never had bought mine!
