Appalled by the way Samsung and Lowe€s have treated me. My brand-new Samsung electric range did not work properly from day one! After multiple calls speaking with agents who attempted to have ME fix the issues while they were on the phone, Samsung reluctantly sent a service repairman to my home. C & E Appliances sent someone who admitted they knew Nothing, about cooking. The first thing he did was blame me for buying a stove which offered the rapid boiling option! Secondly, he snidely stated, I bet you never read the manual to your stove. Both statements were untrue! I bought this stove as part of an appliance package. I purchased them for various reasons, but NOT one included rapid boiling. I have read the manual many, many times and worked with Samsung employees to fix the issues. The repairman explained that other people were having similar issues with baking; especially bread and cakes. He stated he didnt know anything about baking. He also told me he didnt know anything about simmering! According to the stove€s manual simmering occurs when your knob is placed on Low. (See pg. 35) My stove will not simmer, and my oven does not bake evenly. Since the repairman did not know why I needed to simmer I explained a few things about some of my favorite recipes. Most of them require simmering at a specific temperature. €Simmering cooks the food gently and slowly, allowing it to maintain its structure in ways that are impossible with boiling.€C & E€s repairman advised me to preheat my oven for an extra 15 minutes prior to baking. He also said I should bring my rice to a boil on one burner, transfer the pot to another burner and turn the knob below the Low setting to simmer. I have lots of photos to prove his advice did NOT work. Samsung drew my complaints out with self-help fixes which did not work. Soon after the first serviceman left Samsungs 1-year warranty expired. Based on the recommendation of Lowes salesperson, I had purchased a 5-year extended warranty, which turned out to be worthless. Lowes sent me the exact same man to look at my stove! The warranty clearly states if Lowe€s or Samsung can€t fix it they will replace it. I have taken this matter as far as any of your companies€ phone systems will allow. Promises from those claiming to be corporate managers have been broken.A 2nd repairman came out to investigate. He checked the brand-new pots I had purchased for my brand-new stove and they were fine. He had absolutely no idea what was wrong and suggested I use the back burners to simmer, or the warming center. Neither is possible. The smaller burners in the back are not large enough to simmer soups, stews, sauces or rice. According to the manual, and common sense, the pot or €Pan should not hang over the element by more than one-half inch.€ (See pg. 37.) The temperature on the small warming center is not high enough to simmer, nor is the element big enough to accommodate a larger size pan. (See pg. 50.) I made a formal complaint to the BBB concerning C & E Appliance. Preparing a formal complaint to BBB for Lowes and Samsung.

I love the Samsung refrigerator that I have. I have had two bad experiences with the ice maker, though. I currently am unable to make ice unless I thaw the ice maker until there is no more ice collected on the surface. It is a two day process. It will work again if I have time and inclination to do the thawing.

Ive owned nearly every brand of dishwasher available in the USA at one time
Ive owned nearly every brand of dishwasher available in the USA at one time or another, from a Caloric in the 1970s to, Whirlpool, GE, Frigidaire, Kenmore, and most recently a Samsung. None of my previous dishwashers ever leaked water except for the Samsung. The motor shaft seal leaked and the water caused the pump motor to fail. $150 dollar repair if you do the labor yourself. After watching many YouTube videos on Samsung dishwashers I have discovered this to be a common problem. Its a poor design that has cost Samsung a repeat customer forever.

I bought a Samsung refrigerator, model @ RF263BEAESR in Aug 2012. First off, the handle broke off within a year and a half or so. I find the parts list online & email Samsung to ask how to locate them and buy them, as a couple of them didnt have part #s on the schematic. They proceed to tell me that they cannot sell me these parts, that I would need to contact a Samsung authorized repair person. Fast forward to 6-2016. The ice maker has continually frozen up for the past couple of months. Then all of a sudden, the fan starts making a loud noise. Then I realize that the unit is not as cool as it is supposed to be after purchasing a thermometer and setting it inside.Luckily, I purchased the extended warranty through the company I bought it from, however, the warranty contract will only allow $125 reimbursement in spoiled food. When I went through all of the food, I tallied it all up and it totaled over $208!! I am angry that Samsung has made such a shoddy product and no recall has been issued for this fridge. IMO, a fridge should last longer than 3 years before having cooling issues. I have owned others for many, many more years and never had a cooling problem with those.Apparently, this is a well known issue that the unit freezes up in the coil/ fan area, yet Samsung has not issued a recall, just a service bulletin! I threw away $2300 on this fridge and it looks like I will be forced to search for another one. I also own a Samsung dishwasher (has been worked on twice since purchased in 2013) and washer (has been worked on once since purchased in 2013) and dryer (crossing my fingers on that one!) Had I have known that they do not care about their customers and making things right, I would have never purchased any of their products! I know I wont be a repeat customer!!!

DO NOT BUY! DO NOT BUY! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DO NOT BUY THIS DISHWASHER! My wife and I purchased this dishwasher in February 2014. It lured us in with its beautiful looks and promise of quiet operation. For nine months this dishwasher worked flawlessly. It cleaned our dishes well and you could never tell this thing was in operation when it was running. During the first week of November we got an LE code and the dishwasher shut down. The manual told us to cut the power to it and call Samsung for service. It took two weeks to get a technician to our house and he had to order a new control module and a new leak sensor. Apparently LE is the fault code for leak. When the Technician replaced these items the machine started working again. Two days before Thanksgiving the dishwasher stopped working again and was flashing the LE code again. This time it took almost a month for the Technician to get to our house and he couldnt find the leak so he ordered an entire Sump Assembly since Samsung told him this is the only other thing that could be wrong. Christmas Eve, the technician came out and replaced the Sump Assembly and got the machine running again. On New years day, a week after the repair, our dishwasher stopped working again and was displaying this dreaded LE code again. I immediate called Samsung and they scheduled the repair man to arrive for another repair today but the machine started working again yesterday (assuming the water leak dried up) and the repair tech called Samsung to explain to them the situation. Samsung told the repair tech since he couldnt recreate the problem theyre not going to recognize there was a problem and they were not going to pay for the service call. Even the repairman was disgusted with this and called his supervisor to explain the situation and jumped through hoops to find a way to keep us from paying for the service call. He even called the store we bought the machine from and explained the situation to them which lead to the store telling me to bring this piece of junk in to them tomorrow and theyll give me a new machine of equal value and different brand name.I went online and entered the model number of this dishwasher in google and I am in shock from the amount of complaints I see about this dishwasher and theyre all the same complaint. That LE code and the inability to get it fixed and Samsung refusing to do anything more than toss new parts at it. This dishwasher is in need to be recalled but Samsung will not acknowledge it. PEOPLE PLEASE!!! DO NOT BUY THIS DISHWASHER! There needs to be a class action lawsuit brought up against this company. Also everyone that has been ripped off by this company needs to simply contact the Federal Trade Commission and make them aware of this Samsung sponsored con game being ran on American consumers.

I bought the RF217AWCP French Door in Nov. 2011. I had problems with crisper drawers filling with water. This week the motor started running loud and quit cooling altogether. I spent over $400 to have back panel, evaporator and fan piece replaced. The tech advised that he does the repair often and it is a known quality issue. When I called Samsung service, I was told 1) they have no complaints filed in their database on this model and 2) I probably was keeping too much food in it. Unbelievable!

While baking Christmas cookies a buzz, pop, smoke, then fire broke out of the top rear behind the clock and program panel. Put it out with a fire extinguisher. Scorched the wall behind stove. The circuit board and connectors burned up. Luckily we were close by. Stove is completely inoperative and only four years old. Second Samsung appliance that failed in just a few years and had to be replaced. Fridge had to be replaced due to continued failure and expensive repair. I will never purchase Samsung products. Dangerous and fire hazards when it comes to electrical parts.

I purchased a new Samsung refrigerator for my wife for her birthday. Without pulling out the paperwork I think it was in November of 2008. Purchased at Lowes. Had a repairman come out to fix it twice within the first year. It was icing up and sounded like a food processor inside due to ice build up around the fan. The coils were solid ice and the drain was frozen. There was water underneath the platter drawer and so much it would leak out and across the floor. Well seven years later Im still going through the same things. As I write this at 1:48 in the morning I cant sleep due to the noise the fan is making due to ice buildup. This is ** for what I paid. Ive found out about a class action lawsuit against Samsung but cant find any info on how to join. I cant afford a new fridge right now so Im stuck until the lawsuit is settled I guess.

Do not buy this Samsung Refrigerator French Doors Model RFG237. I have had it for 4 years and have defrosted it 6 times. What happens is I get water/ice build-up under the crisper drawer. When I took the back inside panel off where the heating coil is there is a ton of ice build up. Apparently the drain clip is a piece of junk and doesnt even go in the drain hole. When I tried to contact Samsung they said I had to pay for the new part as my Warranty was up. When doing some research online it seems like a lot of people have this problem and it should of been recalled.

I have had my Samsung 9187 for about 4 years and yesterday the thing just kept beeping and then finally displayed the dreaded SE code. After some quick googling, I found a site which offered a solution. I just finished it up and the microwave works again like new. So here it is: Over time, condensation will make two pieces of the ribbon cable stuck together, causing short circuit. The solution is to separate the pieces and put a piece of paper in between. First you need to access the control panel by unscrewing the top grill of the microwave. After removing the top grill, you will see a screw holding the control panel to the oven. Just unscrew that one and remove the control panel. You will then see the ribbon cable. Inspect whether it is folded and the two sides are stuck. If yes, just separate them and put a piece of paper in-between. Its really that simple, put the paper between the two sides of the ribbon found inside the control panel. Hope this helps.

The knobs on this stove are easily turned on if you accidentally rub up on the knob. I have done it 3 times and my son has done it a couple of times as well. The knobs are located right at the front of the stove on an angle where if you accidentally rub or bump the knobs, it turns on. I have to make sure nothing is on the stove because it will burn the house down if we leave the house and the knobs are accidentally turned on. Very dangerous stove, shame on Samsung for making such a hazardous stove!

I bought my fridge June 2010. It is a very large double door stainless steel model with deli tray, freezer on bottom and cost $2700 from Lowes. A few months ago, I noticed water on my floor, so first thing that came to mind was the kids are playing with water dispenser, so I locked it. That did not solve the problem so I was not sure of what to do since it was not a large amount of water. Then during my routine cleaning, I had a burst of energy, and decided to remove the deli tray completely and that is when I noticed a huge amount of water! I could not believe it! Where was it coming from? No visible leaks, cracks and nothing. I tried for weeks to find someone to come out, with no luck. I finally called Lowes and they sent someone from A&E who told me that my fridge was not properly leveled and water that is suppose to drain down is leaking forward. It popped me $216 to level my fridge. I was burned but thought it was better than $2000 for a new fridge. I checked it today (3 days have passed) and guess what? A huge puddle of water under the deli drawer! I called A&E and they said that they will come out, and waive the service fee but I will be responsible to order new parts. Are you kidding me? I just gave you $216! Never again will I buy Samsung. I wish I knew about this site before dropping big bucks on a big piece of **!

We purchased the Samsung RF30KMEDBSG/AA from Home Depot in August 2017. Within two months the ice maker completely froze over and was a giant block of ice. Samsung customer service instructed me to put the ice maker into a forced defrost and run that several times. They said it was because the unit was new and had air in the water lines. A week of getting good ice and then another block of ice. This went on several times until I forced Samsung to send a service tech to my home. I cited the now known class action suit to get them to come service the unit. The tech force defrosted the ice maker, sealed the compartment with clear silicone and replaced the entire ice maker mechanism. He stated this is the standard repair and thats about all they could do. Over the next four months we would get occasional build up on the ice maker which we would clean off and run it through a maintenance cycle. We are at no less than 3 customer service calls for different issues and at least 6 for the ice maker alone. Samsung has serviced the unit twice and given instructions for the homeowner to service as needed which we have performed almost bi-monthly.Last week the freezer compartment warmed up to 52 degrees and all our frozen food was lost. Of course we are now a few months out of warranty and they would come look at it but parts and labor is at our own expense. After reading more online reviews and complaints regarding Samsung products, I will never be purchasing another of their products. I spoke with Home Depot regarding the issue and they were supportive but understandably unable to assist at this point. 14 month old $2500 refrigerator that is useless and unreliable but the one star is because it looks great!

Smart auto and Heavy code on DW80F600UTS. I purchased this dishwasher in late 2013 because it was on sale. It was a year later when the Smart Auto and Heavy lights started blinking. I didnt purchase the extended warranty which was a mistake. The dishwasher became something for looks for awhile until I had time to fix it. Once I started fixing it recently, I found many posts on all the possible fixes. I replaced the case break and it still does not work. I see others say to replace the ECS and main boards. I must have pulled out the dishwasher a half a dozen times already trying to fix it. What a waste of time and money. Never buy a Samsung. I think I will also trade my Galaxy S5 for an iPhone just out of principle.

Samsung has very poor customer service, you purchase the product expecting the product to last a while, however, after having it for only 4 months, there are problems. I am not happy with the after purchase customer care, they are not interested in resolving your issues. I was a big fan of Samsung simply because Ive always had numerous Samsung phones, after this issue, I cancelled my phone and purchased an iPhone. I purchased a French door refrigerator RSG309 that has a computerized display, which was my first mistake. I thought, because it was Samsung, it would be okay, I was sadly mistaken. After contacting the customer service center so many times and remaining on hold, being transferred numerous times, having to repeat myself over and over again like a broken record, I gave up. The display does not work, I have to unplug the refrigerator constantly to reboot it so the dispenser can operate properly. This is the worst customer service ever.I am frustrated, I will never purchase a Samsung product again. I definitely plan to seek legal advice because the product is practically new, I purchased an extended warranty and still cant get assistance.

In July 2012, we had to buy a new refrigerator because the compressor on the old one died. We usually buy appliances from Best Buy but now appliances have been taken over by Pacific Sales. We got their cheap extended warranty and, to this day, the ice maker has failed to function properly. Warranty was called and out of the 4 times, they paid 3 and the last one I had to fight the warranty company (Warren Tech the worst company to deal with) because I kept saying that the ice maker isnt functioning properly because every month the ice builds up and no ice comes out. Ive had the refrigerator (RF260BEAESR French door) about 4 years and it works ok. I like the size and especially like the bottom freezer. My complaint is with the finish which is supposed to be stainless steel. I have cleaned it as instructed, taken good care of it. No kids or any influences which would damage the finish. No matter how well we cared for it - it still has spots and streaks and I can see where the finish is worn off so it is spotty and discolored in areas. Its a cheap finish, and if it was really stainless steel it wouldnt stain - but it does. Not happy about that! Samsung used to be a good products but not anymore. 4 years ago we bought a Samsung French door fridge from the local Best Buy store. This summer the fridge started making loud noises like a fan rubbing at speed. Turns out it was due to ice build up on the back wall of the fridge compartment. We moved the contents to the 20 year old Amana fridge in the garage and defrosted the Samsung for the weekend. less than a week later it was all iced up again. Since Best Buy requires all our personal information just to talk to someone about how much it will cost to have a tech come out and service the fridge, we contacted a local repair shop and they said its a known problem and that the Samsung repair doesnt work so they were reluctant to even schedule a tech.A week later the water dispenser button broke and while trying to fix that we noticed the 800 number for Samsung. I called them and a very pleasant fellow after reviewing the photos I sent issued a one time free repair service. #**. 24 hours later they call to say there are no available service providers within a hundred miles. They suggest I call Samsung appliance service who tell me since its not the ice maker they wont repair it and I should just call a repair service on my own dime.So I have a Samsung fridge that ices up and is causing food to spoil. Up to a quart of water collects under the Cool Select Pantry tray, that is also cracked. A broken water dispenser and an all-round piece of junk for a fridge backed up buy a we dont give a darn manufacturer. Wish we had read the reviews before we bought this because like so many others I will NEVER recommend a Samsung appliance. Bad design and worse service. The Samsung experience.

I have a Samsung dishwasher that was manufactured in 2011 (model number DMT400RHS). It has several physical defects. The lower front cover (part Number AP4342361) caught on the door repeatedly and bent, which requires me to periodically rescrew it to the dishwasher. A prong on my upper dish rack snapped off and is rusting. The dish rack rollers (part Number AP4342187) pop off of the dish rack repeatedly. The biggest problem, however, is that a metal piece of the interior cabinet has partially detached and bent. It prevents the lower dish rack from being pulled out or pushed in without a great deal of effort - particularly if it is weighted with plates. I was told by a Samsung authorized service technician that this problem could not be repaired but that the part was under a lifetime warranty. Unfortunately, since I am not the original purchaser of the dishwasher (the previous owners of my home installed it), Samsung will not offer me any compensation or assistance in finding a solution.

Black French door Refrigerator Model # RF263AEBP. After just over 1 year from purchase, we were alerted to our 1st of now 3 water freeze-up in our fridge. In time #1 & 2 noted water on kitchen floor which was ultimately also on the floor of refrigerator section. Warranty was expired. Thank goodness for websites like this and youtube as we determined the problem was water line freezing and ultimate ice back up. Ice was thick all over the coils and drain clogged with ice. After following youtube directions all was fixed and we felt pretty darn happy with ourselves. (Rightly so as based upon reviews here not only do Samsung techs not know what€s going on - there is no fix, thats clear - but private techs dont know either and all just sell you a bill of goods you dont need.)About 6 months later we were alerted to the problem again in the same way described above. Followed the same youtube process and although this is getting old, solved the problem. Its been over a year and no freeze ups. Until 2 days ago. This time no alert of water, simply the fridge was warmer than usual. Rebooted the fridge and the sensor panels. The key here we didnt hear the fan going. Fridge and freezer cold enough but no noisy fan motor (a lifetime issue with this fridge). Again alerted by one of the reviews, we tried to do what we always do but this time it took 40 min to remove the back panel to access the frozen coils. When we finally got it off the fan was still under over 3 inches of ice (fan is on the back panel). Well after another hour of defrosting all ice with hair dryer and clearing the iced up drain.. all was cleaned (only positive occurrence for me) and put back.Well, while ice is gone, this must have been the straw on the camel€s back as even though the fan moves freely it seems the motor probably has had it. Froze up too long. No early alert system which clearly this defective product needs. I am mad. Not at defective product but at the dismissive attitude of this company to all those who have been trying to go through the proper channels. I do have no choice but to call my regular appliance company who I trust. Then Ill decide whether or not to repair or replace. Its a shame because the physical structure Im happy with. But will never, ever, ever buy an appliance that has any association with Samsung in the future...

He also told us it would keep happening. LOWES would do nothing for us nor would Samsung. Im 60 and have used MANY different washers in my home and others. I must say this one is THE rotten egg. Turned on the broiler element on my Samsung oven and less than 5 min later there was an explosion. You could see blue electricity arcing through. We quickly shut it off, the kitchen filled with smoke, and when we looked the element had exploded and broken. There were burn marks where the electricity hit in the corner. Samsung after dealing with them for two months has offered us $200. The repair person they had come out said it€s extremely unusual and not repairable. I€m pissed.

Samsung Microwave S0404 REF Sku 1000-045. When I was heating up some water, after the timer was out and I wanted to get the heated water out, I noticed a horrible smell, and then I saw the right side of the microwave burning. I try to unplug the microwave, but it is a build in and I could not reach that high. I called my husband in and he unplugged the Micro. I have a pacemaker/defibrillator and I noticed a pain on the left side on my shoulder. We have a 5 year in store Protection Plan and called for replacement. I found out they have to send someone out first to see the damage. This upset me very much because first of all we was promised that this plan will replace faulty merchandise right away.

I have had really a very bad experience with this fridge. This one is really not working good, it seems to have manufacturing defect. Till now I had complain 5-6 times, every time service engineer comes but the same problem persists again and again. Today also after complaining service eng came as usual and said it will take at least three days. If in this hot summer days I cant use my fridge then what is the point of buying this.

I bought a Samsung Rs2530 Bbp refrigerator from Best Buy in October 2008. It made a lot of ice at first, and we never ran out. In less than a year, it stopped cooling and decreased ice output. I set up a service call, and they replaced something inside behind the icemaker. They told me I needed to have less stuff in the freezer for it to work right. They extended my warranty to three months, and said the icemaker would work. On Christmas Eve, it quit cooling completely; they couldn€t get anyone out until after New Year€s Day. That ruined all my food and our holiday. They then said I cancelled the service call the day I took off to meet with them, and that I had to reschedule. That meant two vacation days off work. They got it running, but it still didnt make much ice. Then the warranty was over. Back in June, the power went out and it quit cooling again. I had one light flashing on the front. I found Jonathan ** of ARC who said he could work on Samsung appliances, and could come the same day--unlike the people Samsung wanted me to use. However, a few hours later the refrigerator just started working, so I told Jonathan I would get him to fix the icemaker in a few weeks. The power went out again last Wednesday; it stopped cooling, and I got the same flashing light. I tried to research the problem online. I found out that either the unit could be reset (didnt work), or it could resolve itself (didnt happen the first day like last time). Also, it could either need a control board (found for $60-$70 dollars), or depending on which light was flashing it could indicate a faulty sensor. Since I didnt know which, I had to call Jonathan. I told him I needed to know what part to replace. He came in asking questions like he hadnt spoken to me like, €So what is this flashing light for?€, €It just isnt freezing?€, €Looks like its working...the lights come on when I opened it.€ and €Let me check the compressor.€ After digging in it for a little longer, he asked me about the flashing light AGAIN, and said it was the control board. He could fix it for $450.20! He said the spare part was $260 and that he could get it in about three days. He would apply the $89 he was charging for the service call to the bill, or that he could get me the same refrigerator new for about $2000 or used for $1000. Really? I paid less than $900 when I bought it new. I decided to take a loss on the $89, and get the control board since he gave me the part number. Guess what? It wasnt the control board. I replaced it; I tried all the resetting and still had the same problem. I left it in a few hours to see if it would start working. Nope. I took it back out hoping the parts store would take it back. They wouldnt. I stopped payment on Jonathans $89 check, since I was now out of $72 more because of his wrong information, and the food decaying in my refrigerator and freezer. He not only tried to overcharge me for 5 minutes of work, he also misdiagnosed the problem and knew less about it than I did. I decided to just get a used refrigerator over the weekend, but late Friday it just randomly started working again. Okay. I bought new food and cleaned it out. We had a thunderstorm today and lost power. You know the rest; flashing light, not cooling and no one can fix it unless it fixes itself. Samsung shouldnt make refrigerators as I see this or similar problems all over. Jonathan ** of ARC is not qualified to diagnose or make repairs, and will rip you off.

Refrigerator was leaking sheets of ice under freezer for months. Samsung kept having us try different things to resolve the problem. I was trying to cooperate but Samsung should have replaced the refrigerator. I was repeatedly pulling out sheets of ice. 2 months after the one-yr warranty expired, we woke up to a flood thru our kitchen wall behind the refrigerator to our dining room. $1200.00 in damages we had to pay. Samsung promised they would honor the warranty because it was a continuing problem. After poor customer service, disorganization, and six months of grief, they then said no they would not even cover $400.00 of the damage. We will never buy another Samsung appliance. Very sad. The refrigerators are faulty and too risky to have in the home.

I purchased a new Samsung side by side refrigerator freezer with ice maker in 2016. I have had a service technician come out to fix it 3 times. The first time the freezer wouldnt work. Come to find out it was frozen up. A temp control issue. After that got fixed a few months later the ice maker stopped working, now last but most definitely not least I found out today that the compressor is bad and I paid extra money for it good product and boy was I mistaken. DONT THROW AWAY YOUR MONEY! If you want to throw money away buy one of these terrible pieces of junk. I am sorely dissatisfied with the product and their willingness to fix the problems. Read some reviews from others and youll see. Buy about any other brand and youd be better off than me.

I purchased a French door refrigerator from Lowes about 15 months ago and I purchased a 5 year extended warranty in case something went wrong with the appliance. After about 14 months the refrigerator went bad and started popping the CGFI plug in the house. After contacting Lowes to request help in support of this issue and try to use the extended warranty I was told that the warranty company refused to help saying that it was our fault the refrigerator was not working. I contacted Samsung to ask for help, they said they can send someone to diagnose the issue but it would cost me additional $165.00 for labor.I agreed to this but the person who was supposed to perform the diagnoses was not even qualified to work on refrigerator and Im sure he was not certified by Samsung to work on their appliances. He blamed us like the Lowes supposed qualified technician that it was our fault that the refrigerator was not working. I have contact both Samsung and Lowes many time without any progress. I have decided not to ever buy anything from Samsung or Lowes. I hope you can learn from my mistake in dealing with well known companies. I can provide receipts if I feel this is going somewhere. I have spent too many hours waiting for people to show and diagnose and on hold, making phone call and talking with managers.

This current one is just as bad, if not worse. Our dishes are never dry. They all need to be dried with a towel since theyre so wet. And the recommended jet dry does not help. The worst part about this product is our dishes are never clean. Samsung has not been the least bit helpful and claims it works just fine. I dont consider dirty dishes acceptable and neither should they. Its unfortunate that so many consumers are unhappy with the product but we are stuck with it. Bought the refrigerator (Model RF263AEBP) and electric range in August 2010
Bought the refrigerator (Model RF263AEBP) and electric range in August 2010 and have had nothing but problems with the refrigerator since we bought it. Same problems as everyone else is having, freezer has ice accumulation and ice maker quit working. Ice accumulation in the vents in the refrigerator causing water to settle under the drawers and on the kitchen floor. Refrigerator and freezer quit cooling. Repairman finally came out the first of December and told us it has a Freon leak but would have to come back and do a dye test to see where leak is. In the meantime he did something to mess up the compressor so he had to order a new one (Thank goodness it was still in warranty). This was before Christmas. Set an appointment to come back January 16, 2015, to replace compressor. Advised us that he would change out some parts (that we had to pay for) but in probably 4 years we will have the same problems because it would be out of Freon again. Guess they cant fix the leak. If the leak cant be fixed it seems like they would replace the refrigerator. Could not go through Christmas without a refrigerator so we had to buy a new one and believe me it was not a Samsung. I have noticed the last time I did the self clean on the oven, it did not even clean it good. Will not buy another Samsung.

Read my title and that should give you an idea of how great my Samsung product isn€t. I sadly own a Samsung French door refrigerator. Ive had it for a year and no less than seven problems with it. Giant buzzing noises, Ice forming under drawers so you can€t open them, trays in the doors falling out and smashing to the ground together with all my salad dressings etc ... The writing on the Inside of the fridge wiping off the day I got it... The dividers held in place with sticky tape! The shelves not fitting properly ... It€s the worst made and designed fridge ever. But worst of all you can€t clean under some of the glass ... You just can€t. With much difficulty (Takes two people) you can take the section out but you still can€t clean under the glass. So the only thing you can do is soak your fridge In the bath. It€s seriously appalling. Appalling - and the way Samsung says there€s nothing they can do ... is the stuff of nightmares- It€s insane making. I have green slime under the glass of my fridge- that you can€t clean - It€s a health hazard and Samsung don€t care. They called the problem cosmetic. My health and cleanliness of where I store my food is not cosmetic. As soon as I can get rid of this poorly / cheaply made badly designed fridge I will. Do not buy this product. In fact judging how it€s taken me a Year to get anything done anything- I would never ever buy Samsung again either.

I really do not need to write a review. Just look all the other reviews about the Samsung refrigerator because that is exactly what I am experiencing. Bought the fridge in 2012. Have had it repaired 3 times for the same problem (icing over of the compressor unit in the back of the refrigerator portion). The product is inferior and their customer service does not care. They serve up platitudes and fake sympathy for your problem and then tell you you will pay, again and again and again, for the same repair over and over. I am stuck with this fridge because I do not have the money for a new one. Recently saw a young couple purchasing a Samsung refrigerator and stopped them before they could get ripped off too. If this review keeps one person from buying the piece of junk I am now stuck with, then it has been successful.

We just bought (September 2019 ) a 23 cu ft Samsung Model RF23R6201. The freezer operates at 15 degrees Fahrenheit higher temperature than it should! It is supposed to be at minus 5 degrees Fahrenheit but it is actually at plus 10 degrees Fahrenheit (I have verified this with two Refrigerator Thermometers). A Samsung repairman came by a couple of days ago (after a one week delay!) and supposedly fixed the problem with a software update which did not improve the performance of the Refrigerator at all! Needless to say, the ice maker does not work either! Furthermore the Refrigerator (deceptively?) indicates an inaccurate value for the freezer temperature. STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG REFRIGERATORS! I purchased a Stainless Steel counter depth French door refrigerator w/ drawer freezer at a premium price through Lowes. Within 7 months, the ice maker stopped working and a noise like a motor straining to work started. That issue was taken care of with a service call. Then it happened again. This time, I called Samsung and the girl I spoke to wanted me to remove the ice maker unit. The owners manual said not to do that so I had another service call. This time, a new ice maker was ordered and installed. Immediately after this call, a single click could be heard maybe once an hour. Then a noise like a compressor turning on started and lasts from 5 to 12 seconds sometimes 4 or more times a day.Now the noise like a motor straining is starting again. The ice maker stopped working, and now the ice maker started working again. This refrigerator makes more noise than my dishwasher! So, I am going to have to call for service again. Three service calls in just over 2 years is ridiculous!! I had my last refrigerator - basic with no ice maker - for over 20 years and no problems like this!!!

After reading other posts, I realize that my Samsung French Door with Drawer refrigerator is a real lemon and that I am one of thousands of unfortunate people who purchased this refrigerator! It appears that there is no customer service, so the refrigerator will just have to be trashed. Last year the ice maker quit, froze totally solid, could not be fixed by a refrigerator repair person. He couldnt thaw it and suggested we call Samsung. After several hours, actually 2 days, we thawed it with a hair dryer, hot water, etc.! We pulled the cube maker out and just used the ice maker area to make cubes placing an ice cube tray in the opening. Suddenly one day a year later it started making ice cubes, then it quit, now it is leaking water onto the floor. Today water just poured out of the ice maker area into the refrigerator! I came to this site to see if others were having similar problems with their Samsung Refrigerator, and found that I am only one among many who are out well over a thousand dollars, with no hope of getting assistance from Samsung. What a waste of money on this product! Why is there not a class action lawsuit against Samsung?

I purchased a black stainless steel appliance package and its been a nightmare. Initially the stove was scratched during installation, so they sent me a new one. The new one sounded like it was about blow up and clicked and clicked. The lady said it was because its cold in Colorado?! They swapped it out. Then there is the refrigerator. With the first one, the right door wouldnt stay open, so they sent out someone to fix it. After he fixed it, the right door stayed opened, but the left one didnt. They claimed thats how they are supposed to work for efficiency. No, thats simply not true. They sent a new one. This one had a terrible buzzing and humming sound every time it turned on. They sent me another one. This one was even worse, but the good news is that the doors stayed opened. Clearly how they should work. So, I let them know about the loud sound and they sent me another one. Its the worst one of the three. Im at a loss. Does Samsung just make a terrible product? The dishwasher doesnt clean the dishes. I always rinse them and make sure there isnt much of anything on them. And it stinks!! I keep the door open, which is annoying. Very very disappointed in the products. This has been going on since I purchased them less than 6 months ago. I purchased a Samsung Dishwasher from Best Buy, when I had the unit installed I discovered that the kick plate was missing. I called Samsung and requested that they send me the missing part. They took all of the information and gave me instruction on how to send the receipt which I did. After a few days a representative called saying they needed more information. I asked what information they needed and they said they needed the Serial Number and Model Number. When I explained that I already gave them this information the representative put me on a long hold and came back and said not to worry they had everything they needed and that my missing part would be shipped in 7-10 days. Several days later I received an email from Samsung asking for me to upload my receipt to them (which I had already done a few weeks ago). I resent the receipt and then a few days later received another call saying that since the item was purchased as an open box item that they would not provide me with the missing part. Bottom line is that the customer service is very disorganized and inefficient. After 13 months (just after warranty expired) the icemaker began icing over
After 13 months (just after warranty expired) the icemaker began icing over. I called Samsung who would only send out a paid repair person. I learned how to de-ice it myself and have to do this every three months or so. I just discovered a fix on YouTube which resulted in $200 worth of parts. Now, three years later, there is a solid sheet of ice under the crisper drawer and a very loud fan noise coming from the fridge (RF263BEAESR/AA). Again using YouTube I discovered that ice builds up because of another poor design and I had to remove all the food, all the shelves, including the difficult to remove one above the crisper drawer, and then pry off a back panel and use a hair dryer to defrost it. Ice had built up and the fan was hitting the ice. This is due to a small metal piece that is attached to the heating element, the metal piece isnt long enough and allows the drain to freeze closed. This causes the ice build up. This is an expensive appliance and I am already looking at having to replace it because it is not reliable and requires so much maintenance. My old fridge was a cheap GE that lasted 16 years without a single repair. Samsung knows about the design flaws, has even issued a technical bulletin about it. They refuse to issue a recall and correct their mistake, leaving so many homeowners frustrated. I will not buy another Samsung product as long as I live! There are several class-action lawsuits pending against Samsung in regards to this appliance. Buyer beware, run from Samsung appliances.

We purchased our Samsung #FTQ353IWUX stove 8 years ago. There have always been little problems, all happening after our extended warranty expired. Ie: the glass top cracked; cleaning cycle never completely cleaned the oven; now I have a problem with the oven light flashing off and on and snap/crackling/popping when I turn the oven on. Purchased from Lowes. They gave me 2 repair companies to call. Neither will touch a Samsung. So, off to buy a new stove in the next day or 2 and it will NOT be a Samsung.

Purchased my Samsung French door fridge from Lowes in June 2014. Immediately noticed that ice comes out very slow. After a year the ice stopped coming out at all. Could not figure out how to get the ice maker opened up so called Samsung. They told me to change out the water filter ($60) and that would fix it. I assured him the one year old water filter was not the problem but he guaranteed me it would fix the problem. Of course it did not. Because you know you are going to be on hold with them forever I waited several months to call again. Now the door flap on the left side door has had a spring broken and does not close properly. Called again they finally agreed to send someone out to look at it. Need a new door flap ($80) and when I described the ice problem the tech says oh yeah, I have fixed lots of those. Samsung knows about the problem. It costs $200 in parts. What?? I called to argue that they should pay for the parts. Getting the runaround and not getting anywhere. Worst $2000 ever spent! Never again will I buy a Samsung product.

The cooling function in the fridge section keeps failing, after two repairs
The cooling function in the fridge section keeps failing, after two repairs while it was under warranty (which was extremely difficult to get, despite the fact that the fridge maintained 19 degree celsius even when programmed to cool to 1 degree), and multiple repairs after the warranty expired it still will randomly fail. I have done everything advised - I even bought a separate freezer unit because some people suggested the freezer was too full. I keep the fridge minimally packed, but still the fridge refuses to cool. Now it has begun resetting every time the door is open, and sometimes makes a loud grinding noise (we have disabled the ice maker multiple times to try and stop that). Do yourself a favor and do not buy this very expensive fridge. Its garbage.

Purchased a Samsung induction stove 3400.00 Canadian dollars, Samsung French door fridge, washer and dryer in 2015. Approx 7K in Cdn. funds. Dryer has been repaired three times, ice maker in fridge replaced and still has to be defrosted every month to work. The stove in the start of the second year of ownership has had all circuit boards replaced. In 2018 the convection fan was replaced and yesterday, April 17/2020 the two right side elements have stopped working. Never never never again! They look great and have all the bells and whistles - wait until you have to deal with them!!!

This refrigerator was purchased late April 2015. Since purchasing this product, the upper ice maker has been faulty. It constantly freezes over and does not produce ice. Numerous occasions we have defrosted it and it remedies the problem for approximately 2 to 3 weeks. As of the last week, the refrigerator is making a very loud noise when the doors are shut. Upon doing much research, there are numerous complaints of very similar issues. The customer service reps I talked to on two separate occasions offered me no remedy to this problem other than me paying a service company $100 to come look at my refrigerator plus any cost of parts and repairs. For a $2000 refrigerator from a big brand name company, this response is unacceptable. I purchased the Samsung French Door Refrigerator model RFG297HDRS in January 2014 from Home Depot for around $2,000. Since the first day the refrigerator arrived at my home it is very loud. The noise is so loud you have to leave the room. After several service calls, they replaced it with the Samsung French Door Refrigerator model RF28HFEDBSR, which was a smaller model and nowhere as nice as the other model. This model as well is loud. For over 1 year, 54 telephone phone calls, many emails, several service calls and unpaid days off; I am stuck with this refrigerator. The Samsung refrigerators are VERY LOUD and Samsung does not stand behind this product line.

We bought an Appliance package last October from Bill Smith Appliances. I am very dissatisfied with the Electric range. It has serious safety issues. The knobs that turn off the range top, turn very easily as when someone walks by it, or if I reach up and brush the knob, the stovetop goes on and heats up the glass. I have done it many times. Recently, the stovetop went on, without turning it on, and burned a plastic bowl that sat on the top of the stove. Im afraid that it will cause a fire, or burn someone not knowing it was on. I am very unhappy with the Samsung products and would not recommend them to anyone. Very dangerous! There was also a promotion for buying the appliance for $350 off the total cost. I have contacted Samsung, support@samsungpromo.zendesk.com and Bill Smith, phone #239-275-5555, because we still havent received our rebate.

Bought this unit 3 years ago and now in the middle of the night it starts beeping showing error code SE and will not work. I made soup on the burner. This is an over range unit. Under the control pad and apparently the stream damaged the keypad controls and rendered the unit inoperable. What a sham. What did the engineers, if there were any, think that the operating environment of this model oven would be, arid? I have made the mistake of purchasing Samsung appliances in the last 2 years. Within the first year, the washing machine broke. After several calls to Samsung, a service technician came to our house to repair the machine. At this time, the technician reported back to Samsung that the washer needed to be replaced. I realized at that point that our situation was looking like the beginning of a nightmare. After several conversations between the service technician and Samsung, our machine was finally replaced. We also purchased a Samsung dishwasher. Within 13 months I had to hire a service technician to replace the thermostat (error 1E, 3E) for 282.50. Now, almost another later, another error OE. I will NEVER buy anything Samsung EVER again!

We have had this fridge for less than 3 years, as early as 6 months from when we bought it the ice maker would stop working and the fan would get loud, after having a service tech out he said it was a common issue with these as they constantly do this, so I went on line and found numerous people with the french door and ice maker combo have the same issue--Seems like a design flaw, but Samsung doesnt seem to do anything about it. So usually once every 6-8 months I would have to dump the entire fridge/freezer (we keep an old fridge in the basement essentially to allow for this) and unplug the fridge and allow it to thaw out overnight, then I remove the back panel of the fridge (inside) and thaw the cooling unit out with a hair dryer, re-assemble it and we are good to go.The last year we seem to be needing to do this every 2-3 months, I had to do it tonight after 5 weeks--This is ridiculous. My wife said, Wow you are getting really fast at taking this apart and thawing out the cooling unit--While this was meant as a compliment, its kind of crazy that I need to become fast or good at thawing out the fridge--The one in the basement thats 15 years old I never have to touch--The thing is we own a Kitchen cabinet business and we always have to recommend appliances to clients, guess what we DO NOT recommend to them, 1) samsung appliances in general (just replaces 4 year old samsung washer/dryer set) (2) fridges with ice makers. So please do your self a favour and do not buy this fridge. Samsung needs to stop making the RF25HMEDBSR OR ANY UNIT SIMILAR AS ITS A PIECE OF JUNK.

We purchased Stainless steel kitchen appliances in 2016 and have nothing but issues. Bought an extended warranty and even they refuse to repair anymore. Refrigerator - stop making ice, didnt cool properly, buildup of ice under deli tray, door handle came off of freezer drawer. Microwave - not warm properly, some of features not working. Dishwasher - will not drain water proper or wash dishes efficiently (dirty after an entire cycle, motor keeps running). I have contacted them. They only guarantee a year like most. Thats why we got the extended warranty. Never experience such repairs. Its only been 3 yrs. Something is wrong with this picture. I have spoken to them and they have washed their hands. Even the warranty service man told me that they were bad manufacturers and that they get calls all the time back to back for same issues. Please YouTube the models before purchasing. We are out of $4000 basically. I filed a complaint with BBB. They need to stick with cellphones.

We paid almost $700.00 for this dw80f600uts dishwasher, first trouble within 6 months of installation. We contacted Samsung. We basically got the run-around until the dishwasher was out of warranty. They told us they would send a technician but we were never contacted back. We have an extremely busy schedule and I cannot afford to take a day off work so someone can look at my dishwasher. This dishwasher was one of the more expensive dishwashers when we purchased it. We were told it was extremely high quality, better than BOSCH which was in the same price range. We had a Bosch at our old home. It lasted 6 years (may still be running today?) without a problem.

Purchased a Samsung French door refrigerator 16 months ago. It was pricey but it was a smaller refrigerator that fit well in our kitchen, and based on reviews on Consumer Reports thought it was going to be great. First problem is the door handles. Any slight bump of a dish going in the fridge chips off the black paint leaving white marks. Then I started noticing water in the bottom of the bins. After 13 months, the refrigerator stopped cooling. Of course, the year warranty was up, so I was responsible for the cost. Called Samsung and they said I would hear from a repairperson within 48 hours. After 3 days I called them back and said I hadnt heard from anyone, so they gave me the name of the company to call myself (could have saved time doing that in the first place). Repairman couldnt come for 2 more days. When he did, he said I would have to defrost all the ice that had built up on the back wall of the fridge and that he would order a part. So... 5 more days without a refrigerator. New part works. Then last week, noticed the refrigerator getting warm again, and the freezer had ice crystals all over and the food was rock hard. Put in a thermometer and the fridge was 58 and the freezer was -10. Repairman back out. He was stumped, but called their Samsung expert. He asked if we used the ice maker (no... we have enough problems). Seems the light that says ice off needs to be on, or the freezer works extra hard to make ice (even though there is no water hooked up). Hope this helps someone. So, again we had to defrost the fridge. Its worked now for a week - not sure how long this will last. Samsung needs to admit there is a flaw in their refrigerators and give us some compensation.

Please research carefully Samsungs refrigerator before you buy. The french model that we got has ice under the drawer and behind the back panel (a year after we bought the fridge). Samsung said it is not a common problem but research the internet and found many Samsung fridge has the same issues. Basically you need to open the back panel and add some sort of heating wire to make sure the little drain hole behind the back panel doesnt clog. We choose to unplug our fridge every 2 weeks and the hassle to remove all our food to our small fridge and freezer until we have money to replace this nice looking and useless fridge. I wont buy Samsung since they wont stand behind the product with design fault.

Samsung counter refrigerator rf197acrs - After one year, our great looking Samsung refrigerator started to accumulate water and ice under crispers. We defrosted the refrigerator. It stopped for a while but ice started to accumulate at the back of refrigerator behind wall (you could see buildup through air pockets). In addition, the fan started to make noise and eventually the refrigerator shut down all together. As we were waiting for someone to help us, we called Samsung with little help as we did not purchase additional warranty. We called Lowes with little help; however they were sympathetic to our predicament. We finally had repairman out and he exchanged part at back of refrigerator wall but that also failed. He came out again and replaced the same part with a new one and here I am waiting for this one to break! This situation leaves one with a feeling of hopelessness!

I bought the RF263beasr/aa. Junk, junk and junk. Problem is plain and simple and should never occurred on a new Fridge. Icing problem on the back at the point that you can hear the fans hitting and scraping the ice. And the Ice maker also develops ICE. Read instructions and forums and I leveled the fridge. I made sure that the gaskets of the doors are fully closed and the gasket of the ice maker fully closes and seals the ice maker when door is closed. Fridge is 3 years old and it still has the same problems. I have to get the ice maker every month and use my hair dryer to deice the ice maker. I also once a week I force a defrost cycle plus turn the fridge off for 4 hours to let the coils defrost. My old previous fridge was a GE 15 years old. Nothing wrong with my old fridge (NOTHING, no ice maker problems nor icing problems). I made the big mistake of remodeled the kitchen and bought new appliances. I bought Frigidaire stove, Microwave and dishwasher. My wife insisted on the SAMSUNG Fridge because of the looks and I pampered her... BIG MISTAKE!!!!! NEVER AGAIN WILL BUY A SAMSUNG PRODUCT AGAIN!!!! SUPPORT SUCKS. Customer service SUCKS!!! One thing I love though: I am an IT Manager and I get to say and approve what Technology to buy in my office with 800 users and guess what!!!! I turn down everything Samsung!!! From printers, PCs, laptops, faxes, TVs, monitors, etc, etc ,etc!!! Nothing Samsung ever again... And any other agency that I do business with I spread the word!!!

We purchased this dishwasher Model # DW80H9930US/AA on the recommendation of the HHGregg Sales Representative based on reliability. We have had nothing but problems since December 2014 when we purchased it, with 3 service orders to date. The last one is a repeat for the issue that we had less than a month ago. On top of that, Samsung uses servicing dealers that do not have parts in stock. Thus, they are allowed to order the parts based on the repair order making the customer wait the additional time for the repair. Of course, if there is another issue, you need to start all over again with a service request where they try to get you to repair it yourself using their manuals. I will never buy another Samsung appliance again!

Samsung Model RF32FMQDBSR/AA. I purchased the Samsung 4 door refrigerator around 8 months ago. I follow all the instructions regarding the ice maker when I went on vacation. When I got back home again I check my owners manual and follow the instructions with the ice maker. After 24 hours there was no ice make yet. I check the manual again to make sure I did everything I was supposed to do. Once again I waiting and no Ice. After giving it a week and having the Ice maker not making any Ice, I contact Samsung. The lady at the phone ask me for the model number, my phone, and located the account then she proceed to asked me what was the issue. I explained it to her that the Ice maker was not working that I try everything in the manual but it did not work. I also explain that I follow the instructions to removed the Ice bucket, however the bucket wasnt coming out, at all. She ask me some questions about if the Ice light was lit up on the door and if said off the Ice maker wasnt going to make ice. No kidding Sherlock. Im not a moron. I calmly explain to her that after a week of not having Ice I turn it off. No sense on having the feature on if is not working. She then advised me that if it was something they cant fix by phone but they needed to send a repair person then I was going to get charge for the visit. But if the repair person was needed then the visit was free of charge. I was told that a service representative was going to called me within 2 business days. She proceed to gave me the service number reference that I needed to gave the tech (**). As she told me I received a call from the service tech to schedule the appointment. However the service tech was from Oklahoma and Im in Pennsylvania. The tech was sorry for the misunderstanding, it wasnt his fault. I contacted Samsung again and I explain to the male representative the issue with the address and I gave him my reference number. The gentlemen proceed to tell me that my refrigerator didnt have warranty. Wait what happens in 3 days? I explained that it when I spoke with the lady that gave me the reference number my refrigerator had warranty. Well Im not one to argue with customer service representative since they are provided a script on what to said. I told him Just give me the tech number please. He did gave me a service representative from Reading PA. I called them to schedule an appointment and when I gave the lady who answer the phone the reference number. She proceed to tell me I needed to provide for them the receipt of purchased, that the visit was going to be $70 plus labor and parts. I again, didnt want to argue another customer service representative. I make the schedule, however after thinking about it I cancel it. Who knows what they are going to charge me. What happen to the warranty? This refrigerator is Top Samsung Product with a cost of almost 4,000 dollars. If Im going to paid Im choosing who I let in my house. I have Samsung products all over my house since I believed to stick with one company, washer, dryer, phone, microwave on and on and on. I have never contacted Samsung for service. The first time that I need service They give me a hard time, thats not good customer service. Since Im selling my house and moving out of state soon, instead of paying a repair person I will sell ALL my Samsung electronic and start new with another company. Before you spend that much money on a Samsung product make sure they are not going to give you the runaround.

When our refrigerator quit after 24 years, I was excited to receive our new Samsung refrigerator. The unit was on sale, but my particular unit had been mislabeled in the store, so the salesman gave me the listed price. Perfect! Well, less than 8 months later, the ice maker just quit - on the day of our Thanksgiving dinner. I read all the literature and watched the videos via the QR Codes. My husband and I both reset the ice maker and waited 24 hours. We changed the water filter, even though no indicator light suggested it needed changing. My first call to Samsung left me beyond frustrated. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told no one was available. This technician (I use this word loosely) had me repeat everything that I had already done. Then she finally told me to turn the ice maker off on the door panel and wait 90 minutes for it to start making ice again. When I asked how it would possibly make ice when its off, she just kept repeating her instructions. What did I do? I turned the ice maker off. I wondered if this was some hard reset that wasnt listed in any material. Then came call number 2. I turned the ice maker on and gave it a little time. Nothing. I told the second Samsung person what the first person had me do. He said, Well, your ice maker wont work if its turned off. You think? He started asking me to do everything again...checking filter, resetting machine. He then asked me the temp settings. I told him -2 for freezer and 36 for the fridge. He said I needed to change the fridge to 37. When I asked him why setting my fridge one degree warmer would help, he had no answer. He then told me to wait 2-3 hours and call them back if it was not working. I said, Look, Ive been doing the same procedures for over 24 hours now. Cant you schedule someone to come fix this? He then informed me that it was procedure.Call number 3. When the third technician started to ask me questions, I cut her off. I explained that I wasnt going to repeat everything again for a third person, especially when my husband and I had already performed the same steps the day before. She apologized and told me that someone would be in my area on Friday, but the service department would call and confirm. I received a call from their service department. It was an automated message, asking me to wait. When nothing happened after several minutes, I hung up. On the second call, I decided to put my phone on speaker and go about my tasks. After 30 minutes, no one had picked up! I then called them back. After a few calls, I finally reached someone. I was told that they did not have me down for service for Friday and that the next available day would be the next Thursday. So, we are now waiting to see if someone will actually show for Thursdays appointment. I cant believe that something is broken in such little time. I usually read reviews before purchasing any big ticket items. I didnt with this purchase. When your fridge goes out, you simply go out and get one, preferably one that can be delivered quickly. I wont make this mistake again, and I definitely will not be purchasing a Samsung! I dont see how this company is going to stay in business with poor quality and poor service.

The manual says to turn off the circuit breaker and call for service. Ill call on Monday and see what they say. I read on this site that others are having the same issue.

I have a stainless steel French door bottom freezer refrigerator. Unfortunately my refrigerator stopped working after only one year. I contacted Samsung immediately, they informed me that a repairman would be in touch soon. Two days later Samsung contacted me to say they did not have any repair people to assist us, but that they would refund our refrigerator and also for our food loss. It took months to get out refund we also never received food compensation loss. Customer service was incompetent and not knowledgeable of our situation. Stay away from Samsung products because when they stop working for whatever reason the company will not help you. Trust me this has been a horrible experience.

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator 3 years ago. Ive been having problems since then. It is covered under warranty but this time is the last straw! My refrigerator has extreme mold and black smut that was blown in my air vent through my entire home. Its all over my curtains, furniture, dishes, appliances etc. Lowes refuse to pay for my damages. My family and Ive been inhaling this smut for almost 2 months. Ive decided to get an attorney involved. This is unfair!

Bought the Samsung Waterwall Dishwasher in Black Stainless Steel in July. It was not delivered on time, Lowes claimed that Samsung sends it when they feel like it and doesnt adhere to the deadlines they themselves create. My refrigerator wasnt delivered until late August! We had our first dishwasher leak in August, had to replace the kitchen floor! The dishwasher has had many problems with cleaning, Ive been told its due to the distance between the washer and sink. So I basically use it as a sanitizer. Started leaking again, called Samsung, they sent the information to a contractor in town. Contractor ordered parts, 7-10 business days to get the part!!! Are you kidding me??? An emergency plumber could come take care of this today!!!Ive been on the phone with them for hours today, there is nothing they can do to speed up this process. The best they can do is turn my water off so it doesnt ruin my floor again! Thats wonderful with a house full of people and Thanksgiving at my house. I bought brand new so I didnt have to deal with this. I guess Samsung just doesnt mean quality anymore.
