Samsung has fallen so short on their appliances (refrigerator) that from the first week I had to have our refrigerator serviced, and it has been a total flop since the beginning. If you put anything in the freezer it makes terrible noises and now my lights on the outside panel wont light up.

A little over 2 years ago I purchased a Samsung dishwasher. It has been the worst dishwasher I have ever experienced and never would I ever buy any other product with the Samsung name on it. It has been nothing but problems. The old one was far better. Tomorrow I intend to go elsewhere to purchase a more reliable dishwasher and send this one to the scrap heap.

I paid a thousand dollars for my dishwasher in 2015. I have not gotten one years use out of it without something breaking down on it. In the first year, after many issues, we ended up replacing the board on it. The rubber mat on the top rack and some of the plastic clips in it broke down during the second year. Now the water wall is giving us problems. Customer service runs us through a simple troubleshooting guide just like the one on YouTube then says not their problem anymore, call a repairman. Weve replaced the motor, the sensor and it still doesnt work. Looks like it is the computer board again. I will never buy Samsung again. I thought they were one of the best. I guess I was misinformed.

Our out of warranty fridge is corroding on the lower corners of our ice/water dispenser door. The corrosion is getting worse and becoming an eyesore. It is an obvious craftsmanship or material problem. The Samsung Company does not stand behind their products. Their customer service people are terrible, trying to blame it on the way we clean, the environment or rough use. They even suggested that it was a result of living near the ocean and salt, lots of that here in Ohio. They promise to call back, and you will never hear from them. Do not buy Samsung appliances. Poor products and poor support.

My wife and I were in the market for a new dishwasher. Our old one was 19 years old and still working. We just wanted a new one with the front handle and settings on top. We were advised by Best Buy to go with the Samsung. Two years and one week, it stopped working. We even took an extended warranty with Best Buy. We felt sure we were told it was a 2-year from the original year of the manufacturer. We were wrong. We got two years but one coincided with the manufacturer warranty. I just do not understand that at all. Be that as it may, Samsung nor Best Buy would help. They washed their hands and practically said: have a nice day! We are out the money and have a pretty dead weight mounted under our granite counters. Luckily we have Choice Home Warranty who came out and found the bad part. Its on order and scheduled for install in a week. DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM BEST BUY NOR ANY SAMSUNG PRODUCT! Their products are faulty (weve returned two Samsung tvs and now are very pleased with our Vizio). Once again, I must reiterate: NEVER BUY A SAMSUNG PRODUCT OF ANY KIND! Never! Never! Never! Otherwise, caveat emptor!

The stove is difficult to use... Difficult and complicated selection panel which is hard on the hands and has to be pushed 2 to 3 times for make selection. Difficult to figure out model number which is in a stupid location. OVEN WARMER. My advice is DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG APPLIANCE. Service is terrible and the people do not listen or speak proper English when supporting English Canadian Customers...and yet the company charges top dollar for this premium stove that I would not even pay $5 dollars for. Not worth the money.

We purchased a Samsung Convection oven from The Home Depot in Jasper Georgia for a new home. The range main control board has failed after 18 months. I contacted Samsung and they set up a Samsung authorized service company to contact me. When contacted I asked the service company for a copy of their general liability insurance only to find out they were uninsured.I then contacted a reputable technician who confirmed that the control board was bad. I contacted Samsung and they would not consider replacing it. I also informed them that they were trying to send out authorized Samsung service companies that are uninsured and that did not seem to phase them. Therefore, I would not recommend purchasing their products.

I purchased this (french door) refrigerator upon the purchase of our new home. After a year of having this appliance it started giving me problems. Freezing up, water building up in the bottom inside of the refrigerator. Had an appliance guy come out, he reset the computer part, it started working again for about 6 months. Called my home warranty again. Sent out another guy. He couldnt figure it out, sent out another guy. Stated to unplug the fridge. Let it completely defrost and then plug it back in. It started working again, one month later bam now not only the ice maker isnt working the water isnt working. Called my home warranty again, they disconnected something that should have never been put in there. Started working again, now no ice again water works. Called Samsung, told them what I have been going through. They brushed me off. Spent over 1700.00 on this damn appliance that wont even make ice, the filter alone is 50.00 every 6 months to replace. Needless to say the bag of ice I have to buy every three days that cost 4.69, and Samsung just brushes you off. I am one pissed off consumer right now.

I purchased a Samsung dishwasher and 2 weeks out of warranty it failed and will not drain. I was told that they are sorry, but because it was purchased 1 year and 2 weeks before the failure, I will have to pay for all repairs. They said that they referred it to a company to have it repaired, but after a week had gone by and making multiple calls, I discovered they provided the repair company with the wrong phone number and email address for me. When I mentioned that I saw online that many people are having the same problem and that the dishwasher is built faulty, they told me that they appreciated my researching the issue, but it is out of warranty and basically, too bad.

The old saying that he/she cant even boil water is true for anyone with this range. Samsung NE594R0ABSR, SN J0ZI7DCF801481Z. Glass cracked while boiling on Fast Boil element. Then the fun started when trying to get warranty support from Lowes extended warranty plan. They had to send out tech to take pictures to determine if damage was caused by abuse. (over a week for this) Tech confirmed not from abuse or physical damage.Nearly four weeks after the event and several phone calls I finally achieved a resolution. On the final call I waited while they first called service tech, they said waiting on parts, no idea how long. Then Lowes called Samsung to get a ship date, and could not get an answer from SAMSUNG aka SamSUCKS in my view. So we agreed to a buyout and they are sending a check, so I am out only the cost of extended warranty and delivery, feel fortunate about this part. Now for the best part! They do not want the unit back, said to just throw it away! Done with SamSUCKS forever...

We bought a Samsung SMH9187 in April 2011. It started to give intermittent (1/month) SE error and beeping around November 2011. We did not call for repair as the microwave still worked. The microwave completely stopped working in May 2012. We called Samsung to inquire about the error and learn whether there was any chance the warranty would cover it, since it began months before the warranty expired. They attempted to argue that the warranty was from date of manufacture (and thus ended in November 2011, thankful I had my receipt with date of purchase). We were informed that Samsung would pay for the replacement part but not the cost of installing it. Their authorized repair company would call us in 48 hours. We didnt hear anything from them for 5 days. We called Samsung and asked if we could have the part sent directly to us, no, this is against their policy. The authorized service company indicated a cost of $145 to replace the part. However, they cant do anything until Samsung Service includes more information in their service request to the authorized dealer.I contacted Samsung again and asked them to provide me with the part number that needs to be replaced. They gave me the phone number of their authorized parts dealer and told me that this dealer can provide me with the part number. The authorized parts dealer told me that they cant provide me with the part number over the phone. I need to go to their website (samsungparts.com) and look up my model # and use keyword control panel. Im told that the part I need costs $78.98 (she can tell me the price but not the part number?!)I still dont know the part number that Samsung was going to provide me for free, but the website has two parts called control panel for my model of microwave, one of which is $78.98. Luckily, the website does include the part numbers. I checked Sears Parts Direct and found the same part for $40.99. I ordered it, paid $11 shipping, and Im now hoping that the replacement process is relatively simple.I understand that things break, but, after my experience and seeing all the Samsung SE stories on the internet, Samsung products and service are terrible! Im beginning to think that Samsung is purposely making it difficult to learn about the meanings of the error codes and how to repair them, so that you use their service company or buy parts from their overpriced supplier.

We bought a side by side Samsung Fridge and Freezer. Within the first year the motherboard broke and Samsung came to fix it with no charge. 3 years later out of warranty the fridge broke again. It took one of their technicians 3 weeks to come out due to them giving bad service. They more worried about the R570.00 call out fee rather than providing excellent service. After 3 weeks technician came and said there was a leakage, rusted pipe and it needed gas. Come on Samsung. After 3 years a fridge cannot need gas. I had a Fridge side by side Fridgemaster for 15 years and it never needed gas. Its abnormal and I know it is a faulty fridge.I told one of Samsung people yesterday I am a very unhappy customer and is only paying because I have to get it fixed. It costed me buying a bar fridge as Samsungs waiting period is pathetic. I was quoted R450.00. I have a call recording and emails sent to them. I intended buying a Samsung washing machine but NO SAMSUNG PRODUCTS ever. I am telling the world out there dont ever opt for a Samsung Fridge. They sell faulty products and would not replace it. My fridge still looks brand new as we working and only uses it at night and over weekends but I made a big mistake as the product is not cheap over 10,000.00. I am still waiting on them now to call me to say when the pipes will be fixed and the gas. Suppose to come Saturday but I will wait and see if I receive a phone call today.

Shortly after that, water began pooling in the Cool Select Pantry Drawer and now the drawer seems to be frozen in place and will not open at all. After some internet research Ive learned this a fairly common problem with Samsung refrigerators and apparently Samsung has chosen not to address the problem. I purchased this fridge because it was the best looking fridge on display at Lowes. I know now dont buy something based on looks. We had problems before we ever got it on. The ice maker didnt work on it as soon as we got it moved in. It was still under warranty then so they sent out a repair man to install a whole new freeze door because the ice maker is in the door. Even the repair man said they have more calls on Samsung than any other fridge. FYI, he said that Whirlpool is the best one to buy. We bought the whole kitchen set; hopefully, the rest last a little longer than the fridge. Needless to say, I will never buy Samsung again. Horrible product.

The 10 year warranty they so proudly display on the outside is nonexistent. It is one year and even they don’t want to come out. You have to beg and beg for them to send someone. They also have a judgement against them for faulty refrigerators due to ice makers. They are beautiful on the outside but they suck mechanically.

Im as upset about this issue as Ive ever been about dealing with a manufacturer. I will never purchase a Samsung brand device or appliance. The unit is a RF266AWEP. It stopped cooling 7 days ago and my wife and I have been taken on a journey of phone calls and multiple transfers to Samsung executive support staff all resulting in a cowardly This service ticket has been cancelled email that came through last night. We paid for an Samsung authorized repair technician to troubleshooting the unit. I was hoping the issue would be something simple and they could fix it. The service tech stated that the issue was with the compressor and would cost around $800-1200 in labor to repair. But, great! That part (and labor to repair) is still under warranty so we call up Samsung and spend a total of 12 hours over the course of 3 days on various phone calls, speaking to support reps. There are 3 authorized Samsung service centers in our area. The one that came out, refuses to perform the repair work because they are overbooked. The second refuses to come out because another repair provider has already looked at the unit. The third does not have someone that can perform closed system compressor work. So in the end, no one will fix our Refrigerator and Samsung just closed the ticket and left me a voicemail stating the ticket is closed. The end. This whole process feels extremely shady. I think they are trying to force us to just give up and go buy a new fridge. Dont buy Samsung products. If you have, good luck with warranty repairs.

RFG237AARS purchases 2/2013. I have a Samsung Range and Dishwasher and havent had any issues with those appliances, but this refrigerator is definitely a lemon. There are quite a few Youtubers out there showing the icing problem. They are chiseling ice blocks off the fridge. The fridge starts making an annoying sound which happens to be the twin cooling fan system hitting the ice. Thats not right. Its disappointing that Samsung is not addressing the issue. I have been able to care for mine periodically and unthaw it from time to time, but its definitely a feature Samsung isnt being upfront about. I’m sure at some point the fan will break because of the issue. I can only imagine what expenses they would try to push onto the consumer(me), and given the age of the refrigerator it isnt worth a $500 repair bill. It doesnt sound like people are having much luck with repair(s) either. Some report multiple repairs yet they still have a dud afterwards.

Our experience with the Samsung refrigerator (French doors, bottom freezer, ice/water in door) has been a big disappointment. The ice-maker never worked well - the ice gets wet then freezes over. The refrigerator coils accumulate frost and ice and the fan starts to rattle and eventually die when it hits the ice. An appliance repair company replaced the evaporator cover to create a new seal, and installed a new drain kit ($400), but only 3 1/2 weeks later the same problem occurred. They came out again to defrost it, but said they would not service this refrigerator after that - that it is a design defect that Samsung should recall. Three weeks later, the same problem occurred, over Christmas with a house full of family and a refrigerator full of food. I called Samsung but they wont do anything about it. Samsung, if youre reading this, you may think youre saving money in the short run, but in the long run, your customers are falling away like flies. I strongly discourage anyone from buying Samsung refrigerators, and I will no longer buy Samsung products of any kind.

The fridge failed four times in each of those three years due to multiple part failures. Lost all food every time. Now at 3.5 years the ice maker and twin cooling fan failed due to known problems of this freezing up. Ice make jambs in the back and freezes. Cooling fan has ice buildup around it and stops pushing air into the fridge to keep food cooled. Have to take apart and melt ice manually every 3-6 weeks. Samsung Model DW80J3020UB - I notice several weeks ago that it wasnt drying properly. Couple of nights ago I was getting ready to go to bed when I noticed the dishwasher was still running in the heavy cycle which we never use. I didnt want to go to bed with fear of the dishwasher start in the wash cycle and flood the kitchen. I took the door panel off and cut the wires going to the motor and the motor kept running, got the door to close with motor still running. Got up the next morning motor not running, went to Lowes and bought a Bosch dishwasher. This Samsung dishwasher was bought in Nov 2015. I bought this Samsung refrigerator RSG5FUPN three years ago and today I can testify that it was one of the worst shopping in my life (and I have over 40 years of experience with other refrigerators). It has many defects related to the quality of materials: A long crack (about 40 cm in length) was created in the inner wall of the freezer. At the bottom of the kiosk door, rust (corrosion) was spreading. The doors color faded and yellowed. Internal shelves and covers are broken for no reason (during normal use). Drawers have places where dirt accumulates and cannot be cleaned.

He replaced one small part and said it was fine. Now, it didnt last two weeks. It did the same thing. This refrigerator is 11 months old and still under warranty. I called today and was put on hold for an hour. Finally, I was told the serviceman would come out again. I think I got a lemon.

I have bought Samsung refrigerator model RT37K3763S. This so called refrigerator cost me 37750 K in year 2016. Only first few days it worked fine. Then Ive started accumulating everywhere in freezer, its ducts and cooling for lower section gone. They changed the door in first few months. Now its one year and out of warranty.I have same complaint after every 15 days. Standard answer is shut it down for 24 hrs... Then someone comes and changes the sensor... Someone comes and fixes the gasket... I have got loads of food wasted because this fridge just stops cooling after every few days. Multiple complaints with Samsung. They are not ready to accept that its a faulty product. I feel completely cheated with this product and service. The company doesnt even know what the root cause of this issue is... Very poor service.

Unfortunately I purchased a Samsung dishwasher when it was first launched so consumer reviews were not available then. I wish I had the foresight of returning the dishwasher immediately during the first month of purchase because my dishwasher never thoroughly cleaned my dishes. I was so amused by the lights and buttons that I ignored the dishwashers failures. After numerous service calls to the vendor, the repairman decided to replace the unit. Shortly after however, the dishwasher completely broke down. I wish we could make Samsung accountable for what they know to be a poorly produced and designed product.

I just purchased all new Samsung kitchen appliances. The dishwasher was broken. It ran, but would not turn off even when I opened the door. I had to turn off circuit breaker. Called Lowes, and they replaced with a new one. They were great about it as I said I did not intend on having to pay my contractor a second time to install it, they completed the installation. Now it runs, but does not dry dishes. I purchased the rinse agent as I was advised, used it, still does not dry dishes. Today I used the sanitize option which was suggested in manual to get dishes dry...still not dry. I also have a very bad smell coming from dishwasher when there are no dirty dishes in it. It smells like garbage. So today I called Lowes and spoke to my salesman. I am NOT going to re-purchase a Samsung. He is going to have his department manager call me tomorrow. Again, I dont want to pay installation, but either way I am so disappointed. So far I am happy with refrigerator, stove, and microwave, but have only had them two weeks.

After paying for months for a new refrigerator, which was over $2,500, which is a lot of money to me, after about a year, it started making a noise. I called Samsung for them to tell me that a service tech would come out, but that was not covered under warranty and I did not buy the extended warranty. Well, after I spent that much money, I didnt think I needed to spend additional amount for an extended warranty. Was I wrong? Another $300 for some 18-year-old kid to just switch out a motor. Here we are 11 months later with the same problem, mainly because the first technician didnt fix it right the first time. It constantly freezes up, and water is under the vegetables bins. What a lemon. People, do your homework and never buy a Samsung refrigerator! This one had the ice and water on the outside and the French doors. I was really upgrading, and I had to make payments. Samsung couldn’t care less!

I tried to contact Samsung and they said perhaps I spilled something. I told them that the problem was repetitive and that I did not store water in the refrigerator. They wanted to send out a technician but I asked them to give me some troubleshooting ideas first. They said they didnt have any because they havent had complaints about this. I purchased a Samsung refrigerator approximately 3 years ago. The refrigerator started making a loud noise and would stop when the door was opened. The noise would start again when the door was closed. I googled the problem and discovered many other Samsung refrigerators had done the same thing. The solution was to unplug it and defrost the freezer. So I do that about once a month. Now the entire refrigerator has started to freeze up and the ice maker has stopped working. I will NEVER purchase a Samsung product again. And I would recommend that you not buy a Samsung refrigerator. I spent $2100 on mine. Not worth the money.

I have them coming out to fix this and it is 2 years old so it is out of warranty. Samsung otr microwave smh9207st is very dangerous and should be recalled. It had the door replaced twice and almost every holiday while I was cooking on the stove the steam rose and if the microwave was turned on it died like it isnt sealed properly. I think it was the third time it actually caught on fire and the magnetron and numerous parts were replaced free of charge with the promise if it failed again it would be replaced with no problems. When it died again they did not replace it - they repaired it again. When it died again they admitted they had it on record it was supposed to be replaced but refused to. They would pay for the magnetron but that was it. I would be responsible for the labor and any other parts. The repair service visit for the fire the repairman had just left a place not 20 miles from me for the same microwave catching on fire. I wanted to share my experience because I believe someone might truly get hurt by this product. I will not repair this again for the fear of burning my house down. I will never buy one of their products again because I have found they do not care if it is dangerous. They should recall and discontinue making it.

Purchased Samsung refrigerator 3 years ago. Ice maker has not been working properly for several months. After researching this problem, I find it is very common. It has been reported that there was a design change made to the current model to address this. Spoke to a Samsung customer support person as well as a manager. They will not assist with the cost of the service call in any way. I received estimates of $400-$500 dollars. The refrigerator cost $2000. So in three years I am incurring a repair cost equal to 1/4 the price of the refrigerator. We are remodeling our kitchen in several month. It looks like it will be LG for us in the future.

I posted a YouTube video I made about how I fixed my Samsung Microwave plagued with the dreaded 5E (SE) error. Like many other people, my Samsung Microwave started giving me an SE error a little after a year after I bought it. When I called Samsung, they told me the warranty was up and suggested I should call an appliance repair company. I followed their advice on this site and tried to repair the microwave myself by cleaning the display pad. The fix took me about 15 minutes and seems to have worked. Two weeks later, and the microwave is still working fine. Keep your fingers crossed. Some other commentators on this site have suggested that Samsung may now fix this error if you mention all the negative comments on this and similar sites. I will give Samsung another call and see if this approach works if the microwave fails again and once again I am plagued with an SE error.

We purchased the Samsung 24CF counter-depth side-by-side refrigerator in December of 2013 from Pacific Sales in Chatsworth, CA. The unit cost $3149 before tax and we paid an additional $350 for an extended 5 year warranty. Within 6 months, several of the side shelves, which theyd demonstrated as being intended to hold gallons of milk, had cracked or were broken to the point they hung of the door. This was true even of the shelves we used only to hold condiments and smaller, lighter items. Within 13 months, every single door shelf was cracked or broken and the plastic surrounds on the main shelves had cracked as well. The warranty company said the shelves were not covered and Samsungs customer service department said they could not do anything as it was over 12 months since purchase. All they would do was provide me with a number to call so that I could pay for the new interior shelves myself. Given the price of this refrigerator, the quality is really inferior. We had our previous Kitchen Aid refrigerator for over 18 years and nothing inside was broken or cracked when we replaced it. DONT BUY A SAMSUNG.

Last year, I bought an expensive top-of-the-line Samsung dishwasher. I thought this would be the best dishwasher I ever had. Boy, was I wrong. When my 15-year-old Sears Kenmore dishwasher died, it was doing a better job on dishes than this brand new $1000+ dishwasher. If I dont wash my dishes before I put them in, I have to wash them when I take them out. And they are never dry when they come out. I always have to dry them. My floor around my dishwasher is always wet because the dishes drip water when I take them out. And if I put 5 glasses in the top, 4 of the glasses have debris inside them when I take them out. My fiancé and I left our home with our daughter at approximately 8 AM this morning for work. We had both spent significant time in the kitchen before leaving and the microwave (SMH9187ST) was properly functioning (displaying the time, no one had used it since the night before.) When we returned around 5:30 PM, there was an electrical smoke smell emanating in the house. My fiancé immediately followed the smell to the kitchen, where he saw our Samsung microwave was smoking and the clock was not displaying. Upon opening the microwave, we observed more smoke and the scorched insides of the microwave. The glass turn table had shattered and there was a charred hole in the rear of the interior. There was obvious scorching up the back of the unit as well as on the top. He immediately opened the cabinet above the over-the-range microwave and unplugged it. There was no one in the house during the day, except our dog and 2 cats. The unit appears to have spontaneously combusted. After researching this model, I cannot believe it has been allowed to remain in homes this long after so many reports of damage, fire, and potential disasters. We are seriously lucky our home did not burn down with our pets inside today. Our daughter turns 1 tomorrow and is usually home with the babysitter, luckily she was not home today. I dont even want to think about how badly this could have ended for me and my family.

Had the Samsung refrigerator a little over a year and the ice maker stopped working. Called customer service who ran me through 15 minutes of tests then said a technician would call within 48 hours to come out and repair the fridge. Two days later after not getting a call, I called Samsung again and was informed that the service provider will call me. Samsung tried calling and no luck left message. I was then instructed to run through the same 15 minutes of tests and told (once again) a technician would call within 48 hours. No one has showed up so I called Samsung back again to find out there is only one AUTHORIZED company in the area SA Display. So now I have escalated this because I cant get my ice maker fixed. By reading everyones reviews there is an obvious issue with this model number. So I am still waiting on someone from the escalation department to call me back on how they are going to service this ice maker issue. So not only have I waited 2 weeks to resolution I now have to wait ANOTHER 48 hours for a technician to call me. This is the worst refrigerator I have ever had and I tell all my friends, relatives and neighbors do not buy this brand. I have a home warranty and they cant even figure it out. Right now I cannot get water to work so now wont make ice. Never ever ever buy a Samsung refrigerator, please.

We bought Samsung appliances package from Best Buy and I installed on October 2019. The dishwasher doesn’t clean dishes at all. Called service department several time and twice technician visit. Their report said that this dishwasher needs hot water and our water heater is too faraway!! The water heater is in our garage. We never had a problem with the last one. Anyhow I do not recommend this model of Samsung dishwasher. DW80R5061US/AA,

I am doing something that I was hoping that I would not have to do. I am putting the Samsung Corporation on public blast because I have been given absolutely no other option! After purchasing a top of the line dishwasher just last fall, our unit has required repair for error codes 3 TIMES. All were under warranty and while the first tech was educated and efficient...the problem was not fixed leading us to where we are today. Approximately 6 weeks ago (while still within the manufactures warranty) we placed a call for repair. After an hour of waiting on the line, we were told that a service repair shop would be calling us. Never did. I called said company 3 times and left messages hoping for a return call. Never happened. Called Samsung back...waited an hour and 40 minutes for a rep. Was told that a repair shop would be calling me to schedule. Gave me the number for the exact same repair shop. I declined. Asked for another shop. They finally agreed to send someone else out at your request...like it was unusual that I wanted another company. That company called and scheduled with me but needed a week to order parts (how did they know what part if there was no in person diagnostic?). Fine. No dishwasher 2 weeks...ok, well be patient. Came out, replaced main board in about 30 min and was out. Started the cycle and it looked to be working and left. Day after, first full load in the machine...ERROR CODE. Are you kidding me? Called Samsung...I could go on and on about the HOURS AND HOURS we have sat on hold with Samsung. At least 1 hour and 30 minutes EACH CALL, EVERY TIME. We have phone records to support this. We have asked to be expedited to executive customer service = declined. We have asked for a replacement unit = declined. We have asked why this has happened = no answer. WE HAVE BEEN MORE THAN PATIENT but at this point it has been upwards of SIX WEEKS since this has started and there has been NO RESOLUTION whatsoever. We have followed up almost every other day with this company to check the status, we have proven our bill of sale, we have provided them with many, many, many opportunities to make this right = DECLINED. We asked for our case to be forwarded to a higher level = declined. We feel totally at their mercy. We are at our wits end because we feel we are being taken advantage of and have been given NO SOLUTION to our issue. The customer service has been DEPLORABLE to say the least. I am BEGGING for someone, anyone...please help! Has anyone experienced this? What do we do? We 100% do not want this unit anymore (when warranty is up...well be responsible to pay for these constant error codes to be fixed) and we would be more than happy with either a full refund or an exchange for a non-Samsung dishwasher (from HH Gregg). We feel like this company has us strung up with no option but to be continually jacked around. We have asked for a copy of our communication transcript and were told that they cannot provide that for us. (WHAT?) We do not have finances to pursue legal action, but if we did, that is the route we feel is appropriate after all that we have experienced.

Waterwall dishwasher model DW80h993OUS started pouring water from the botto
Waterwall dishwasher model DW80h993OUS started pouring water from the bottom shortly after we bought it. Two service repairs later it is still leaking. It is only a few months old and this is unacceptable! There is no reason a new, expensive dishwasher should be continuously patched together. Im going to give Samsung one more call and hope they do the right thing and replace this dishwasher.

Long going problem with the refrigerator building ice and the drain system
Long going problem with the refrigerator building ice and the drain system clogged. I wrote a complain back in September 2014. Every two weeks I have to melt the ice with my wifes Blower and drain hot water to the draining system. I cant do this any longer Im sick of it. I didnt buy a New refrigerator to be a SLAVE of it. It was supposed to service me. Not the other way around. My question to Consumer Affairs is why hasnt the U.S. Government taken action against Samsung? Many other complaints as the same as mine.

I bought a package deal of Samsung appliances when I moved into a new home.
I bought a package deal of Samsung appliances when I moved into a new home. Fridge, Microwave, Stove and dishwasher. After 3 months the dishwasher started to leak. We had numerous service calls to fix it. It would be fixed for a short time and then leak again. At one point it quit completely. We had to shut the breaker off because it just kept flashing and beeping. Eventually they deemed it unfixable and was to issue us a check for the cost of the dishwasher in March 2017. We have yet to see a check 6/24/2017 and the dishwasher is completely unusable as it has flooded our kitchen and warped my wood floors prior to that... We were given a number to contact for Samsung claims for the floors and after many call, and told we would have someone call back they have NEVER CONTACTED US.The Samsung fridge started making noises about 6 weeks ago... (How convenient after the year warranty). Anyway I had the repair man come out last week and he informed me that there are 5, yes 5 recalls on the parts. It is Currently in my kitchen completely unusable. These appliances are less than a year and a half old. This is not ok... It is unacceptable to sell crap like this at the price it is and get away with it. I AM NOT MADE OF MONEY. NOR HAVE I EVER BOUGHT A KITCHEN FULL OF APPLIANCES. SO IT WAS EXCITING... AND NOW ITS A NIGHTMARE. If I could give you NO STARS I WOULD!

My Samsung French door 28 cu. ft. refrigerator was purchased in April 2011
My Samsung French door 28 cu. ft. refrigerator was purchased in April 2011 from Lowes. It cost $2,800.00; that’s a lot of money. I had a Samsung washer and dryer and a big screen TV that I was happy with, and was not aware of any problems with their refrigerators. The other day, I tried to get ice from the dispenser and no ice came out; just water. I called Samsung and they told me to reset the icemaker. I told them we had ice but none would come out of the dispenser. We cleaned out the old ice, reset the icemaker, and waited 24 hours like they said. The ice maker made ice but none would come out of the dispenser. I called them back, and they said they would send out someone to look at it, but could not tell me how much it would cost. For some reason, I did not purchase an extended warranty; I have it on everything else. About a few days after purchasing fridge, my brother-in-law died and my husband had a heart attack at the funeral so I did not think about the warranty about a week later. I called Lowes trying to get one, and they could not as it was a week later. Then I called Samsung, and they would not give me an extended warranty; so I have none. Now I am left with a $2,800.00 fridge with no ice or pay the high price for a service man to fix it. We are seniors, and you would think that the icemaker would work longer that than 2 years. I have never had an icemaker go out on much cheaper fridges. Sorry, but this sucks.

HhGregg did not stand behind this sorry refrigerator. The 1st time cost 220 to replace 2 years ago. It came and it was a bad. Sent it back. The ice maker is defective. Everyone cant be wrong or trying to cheat them. They cheated us. Louies Appliance Repair in Bham Al is a good company with a man named Vann taking Louies business on the side. I truly was shocked a thief not fixing his saving me so called money. Should have known when I asked for a receipt and he said they would mail it to me. For 220. Vann snapped the computer ice maker and did not wait even long enough to see if ice maker worked. It did not.Plus Vann said he would fix my ice maker on my Whirlpool. Supposedly wrote down info. He has never returned to put in the new ice maker I bought on the Samsung and never came on Whirlpool. Even told him to order parts. He vanished and I did not turn him in. I waited for receipt of my payment. Never came. Wake up Louies. That Vann guy is ruining your good recommendation I was given by one of your customers. Obviously they had an honest employee of yours to service their appliance. Samsung you suck. Worst product I ever bought. That is why I had ask to fix a 10 year old Whirlpool. From getting class action lawsuit with every one of you that reviewed this store.

I Do NOT recommend SAMSUNG French Door refrigerator. Does not stay cold. Freezes up and needs to be continually defrosted. I believe there is a defrost problem with a coil that is incorrectly placed and not long enough so continual problems. Didn’t last a week from last defrost. Waiting for serviceman. I’ve read this is a VERY COMMON problem. Will never buy SAMSUNG (samsuck) again!

The Samsung microwave SMH8165ST was purchased approximately 2 years ago from Lowes. First the light kept coming on and off by itself for a day or two. We unplugged overnight, same thing. Then the SE code came on. We looked online and there were many, many complaints about the SE code and at the same age of microwave as ours. Some people suggested taking off the touch board, replugging everything and putting it back. For some it worked. We simply plugged and unplugged the wires inside, replaced. Now the microwave is completely dead. Customer service just gave me a number to buy a new keypad. No more Samsung for us.

Hello, I dont normally get on this and write reviews but the phone call I just had with Samsung just blew my mind. Weve had our stove for 2 years. I just noticed today that the exterior front of the stove is peeling off. It is extremely unsightly and never seen any other product stove peel like this or had had these kinds of issues. Should this be happening after 2 years? This peeling clearly states (from the outside) that its a cheaply made product. The best part is that I called Samsung to see if there is possibly anything we can do for this and to let them know that this is happening. They had no recourse whatsoever and that there is no warranty to cover such a thing.I kindly explained that now, its a thing and asked if theyd be able at least give me some idea on how to go about fixing this issue and they said, no. Then I said, Well then unfortunately Im going to have to write negative review. Is this what your company wants? and then they gave me a dissertation of why I should do that and where the information goes. With all of this said, wouldnt Samsung rather have a positive review by at least someone saying I called Samsung about my peeling stove and that even though there was no warranty to cover this, they provided me with a few service, or with some resources to help fix this issue.

I was complainant # 100 and this is a follow-up of the situation. I called a 4th time to Samsung Customer Service to inform them of my success at repairing the microwave SMH9187ST and requested only the cost of the control panel assembly ($71.02). After some deliberation, the answer was no because I was not an authorized repair technician. Had I waited on Samsung to handle this situation with their service, I would have had no expense. Samsung now recognizes a problem with these microwaves and will assist consumers. I feel like Im being punished for being a capable do-it-yourself-er. Whatever happened to good customer service of decades ago?

We paid almost $700.00 for this dw80f600uts dishwasher, first trouble within 6 months of installation. We contacted Samsung. We basically got the run-around until the dishwasher was out of warranty. They told us they would send a technician but we were never contacted back. We have an extremely busy schedule and I cannot afford to take a day off work so someone can look at my dishwasher. This dishwasher was one of the more expensive dishwashers when we purchased it. We were told it was extremely high quality, better than BOSCH which was in the same price range. We had a Bosch at our old home. It lasted 6 years (may still be running today?) without a problem.

French door refrigerator model RF263BEAESR/AA. This POS is 3 1/2 yrs old. Ref makes a racket after there is ice buildup and fan hits ice. Only way to stop noise is removing all shelves, removing inside panel in rear and chopping away at ice. This has to be done at least once a month. Getting ready to check it out the door. Do not buy SAMSUNG. First time service man said nothing can be done to permanently correct it. Its been going on now for over a year. Now we do it ourselves. Apparently there is a lawsuit regarding this problem.

We bought our Samsung fridge with icemaker in 2015 and loved the design for storage. We had several issues with defrosting and the fridge developing ice and the back and freezing food. We started to take a day once a year to defrost it over 24 hours and it worked for a couple years but we called it this year. It froze up again (early this year) and we defrosted it again but it never got back to properly keeping our food cool but not frozen. Our local repair person told us he wouldnt waste our time because hes gone to service Samsung fridges many times and bought new parts but it never helped. When we had our new fridge delivered the delivery person commented that theyve removed mostly Samsung fridges from peoples homes. They look good but not worth it. Ours lasted 6 years! Thats not long for over $2,000.00. Not to mention the environmental impact!

The SE error occurred on a two-year-old over-the-stove microwave. The same thing - unplug, worked for a short time and then nothing but an SE error since. The TV has been a problem as well. Luckily, I had a warranty. But it is less than a year old and I had the entire rear component replaced. Now there is a line on the middle of the picture that will not go away. I think they are just selling junk.

Does anyone else have problems with the front door leaking out of the vapor
Does anyone else have problems with the front door leaking out of the vapor collector inside the door? It is vented out the bottom and our Samsung dishwasher leaves a small puddle every time we wash. Samsung said it is because our house isnt warm enough. I especially like that one!! not.. We have placed a rubber backed throw and the tray from our George Foreman fryer to catch the water. Samsung says this cant be happening.
