Great quality heater. Read the instructions for use before you put this in an enclosed tent or other enclosed space. Have used several times with complete confidence in the O2 sensor and tip over sensor. Slept several nights with this on full blast, all night long. Great way to stay warm on the scout camping trips with your kids. I've gotten soft in my old age.

It was nice having this heater during my last hunt. It warmed the tent nicely each morning. This allowed me to get dressed in a warm tent without feeling rushed to beat the cold. I ran it off a 20lb propane tank outside the tent and found that I didn't need to run it long to warm the tent.

I have had one of these for some years now, purchased through Amazon. I've taken in camping and also have used it as an emergency heater here in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas when we've had power outages in bad winter storms. In every case we've had, this heater has kept us warm and toasty. I don't understand the other reviews that say this heater doesn't work but would guess that the folks reviewing were trying to heat too big a space. If you keep the heater heating around 230 - 250 square feet, it will be very comfortable and warm. The heater lighting procedure is pretty straightforward and you get roughly an evening's worth of heat off a single bottle of fuel. I purchased the adapter to use the heater with a 5 gallon LP tank and it works great. Highly recommended.

We have a 45 foot RV toy hauler and the rear garage isn't very well insulated and the heating vents don't work so well back there. I bought two of these for Christmas and put one back there and used the other next to my son's bed. These things were amazing. With two of these running on low (so the fuel would last most of the night), the thermostat almost never flipped on and our furnace hardly ran. It was down below freezing over the New Year weekend and these heaters kept us comfortable. We were camping for a week and I was afraid we would burn through our large LP tanks if we ran the furnace too long. These really helped us conserve LP. I bought a big case of the smaller fuel canisters at Home Depot and we used one apiece every night. Perfect.

The powerful heat output of the Mr. Heater Buddy Heater lets me spend a few more hours outside on my deck at home in Canada, where the winters can be harsh and temperatures dip below freezing even in the fall.
