Haier Washer no GWT460AW - I have had washing machines for over 50 years and never had one like this. Thought it might be erratic due to some energy saving feature but in the spin cycle it sounded like a jet engine starting and stopping and even with light loads like 2 bed sheets and 3 towels it would jam up and stop. Then I heard this sound like a gun shot but the spinning tub broke loose and washer hit the wall, top came right off the washing machine and the side of the tub was pushed out.
This works great for small loads. The only thing I can think of to improve it is to make a "gentle" cycle. My washer is a small bathroom size - one that attaches to my shower nozzle. I got it because I don't like our community laundry facilities and have control over what germs and dirt goes into and gets cleaned out of it.
We purchased a Haier countertop microwave (model mwm0722tsbk) just over a year ago. It randomly started on fire during use, for no reason. I contacted the company and was told I would be contacted after they looked into it. I never was. When I contacted them again, I was pretty much told they werent going to do anything about it. It was a waste of money, but as I told the representative, I mainly wanted to make them aware of it so it didnt happen to others or maybe they would check into it a little. He sounded bored. I’m pretty sure they wont look into anything. So I felt I should at least comment to warn others of the fire possibility! Luckily, when it happened, my husband was nearby.
Looks great. Lots of features for a reasonable price
This washer is the largest of the portable washers that the company offered at the time. Mine is about 5 yrs old. It has been very reliable in that it runs well. The problem with it is that it cleans using a pulse-type action, like a jewelry cleaner or toothbrush, and has no center column to keep clothes from tangling. I have to stop it between the wash and rinse cycles to un-knot the clothes. They also have to be repositioned during the spin cycle or the washer goes off-balance and tries to walk across the kitchen. The upside is that I rarely forget to add softener which I add when I untangle the clothes. It does get my clothes clean. If you are considering this washer just be sure not to overload because fabrics like to "pill" if you do - those little fuzz balls - especially with sweaters and socks. I use laundry bags to wash delicates. It is easily moved from the sink back to the closet as it is on wheels that can be locked when in use. I like my washer and would recommend it to anyone. AS long as you have a tap with running water it will work for you. It is self draining, just don't forget to put the drain hose into the sink. I believe I read that if you prep your clothes before you wash following the manufacturer's instructions that they won't tangle but I have no patience for that sort of detail.
The thermal fuse failed in my dryer after three years. I tested it with a multi-meter, so I know it went bad. Part number for the fuse is WD-3050-01. I removed it after much work (its almost inaccessible). The Haier America website says the replacement part is WD-7350-015. That part arrived yesterday. But its much smaller. In particular, the wings for the two attachment screws are almost an inch closer than the original. No specs to indicate this on the website.I called the number given at www.haieramerica.com/support and spoke to Lina (agent id: **). She said Haier could not answer my question: How do I attach the replacement thermal fuse to my dryer? She said Id have to get a local technician to answer it, presumably for a fee. First, a part failed after three years that should have lasted the life of the appliance. And secondly, Haier couldnt answer a question that is likely common if this part has failed as many times as I think, assuming others have had the same experience. So the part failed and they dont stand behind the replacement part. Conclusion: no more Haier products for me.
I didnt even know this site was available. Ive been emailing to the company since day one. In good faith, I bought a Haier microwave MWM7800TBPG on the original carton. One week, it stopped working. I went to L&T and spoke to the manager. He said to bring it in and theyll exchange it. I went home, brought it to the store and it was closed down! I thought, for sure, they would send me to a repair shop or exchange it as he said. But it was closed down and the liquidation people said its not their problem. Im so stuck with my good faith, money and get this?I have other large appliances that I am using. So far, Im very satisfied. What can you do to help me out? Ive never been treated like this before; ignoring the consumer who paid for it in good faith. Please contact me, hope to hear from you. Thanks!
Here it is. 2 years and 2 days later, the phone number on the web site is one number short to be dialed. I never got my $100.00 rebate. And the wash/dry combo still does not dry the clothes. I cannot get anyone to help and no one will work on it that I know of. I never got a book with it so I cannot even look up trouble shooting. I spent $796.50 to wash clothes and hang dry them!
We have had our dishwasher now for 2 months. It is wonderful compared to the previous one. Much improved organizer inside provides for washing many more dishes. It is super quiet and we can't tell it is running. Absolutely no complaints.
Very sleek with hidden controls. Has more features than I need for my basic dish cleaning needs.
It was everything I had expected. The dryer time is long but that was indicated on the reviews I had read.
I purchased a new Haier model H21TS80 refrigerator in August 2014 from Lowes. I have been jockeying the temperature controls between the freezer and the lower compartment trying to obtain a steady 35 degrees in the lower compartment. It is impossible. The temp will go up and down 10-12 degrees. At times it is over 40 degrees then again it is 30 degrees. No one is using it but me and I am not in and out of it a lot. Nor do I place hot items in there so neither one of these apply. There also has been an annoying buzzing sound from the freezer area. Totally unsatisfied with it.
This all in one machine is a really space saver.
I purchased a Haier stovetop hood, the control pad is placed right where the oil and grease is directed out of the kitchen. By designing that way, the contacts quickly become contaminated, and no longer respond. I called Haier a number of times, they refused to help in any way. I even ask if they just send me another switch, Id pay to have it installed myself, they refused. I would never buy a Haier again, and I strong urge others not to buy from them. They are there to sell, and after that, you no longer want anything to do with you. Id definitely stay away from anything Haier.
This dishwasher is perfect for my small kitchen. The other reviews are comparing this machine to a full size machine. Not accurate. If you need a small dishwasher this is excellent in cleaning, drying, quietness, attractiveness. Do not hesitate to purchase IF you need 18”. I do and I love it.
Its not very complicated and its not high retail microwave. Good for quick dishes, has 700 Watts, comfortable for me. Its really easy to clean, very compact. It has the different buttons for a particular items like potato, pop punk Pizza, frozen dinner reheat or beverage that you can use quickly.
I bought a Haier refrigerator in 2010, that has always had faulty seals that Ive been gluing back into the slots for years. Secondly, I should have known better, when I purchased the Haier HWF05XCP-L 5,000-BTU Mechanical Window Air Conditioner less than one year ago. It now spits out a gooey, watery substance. I live in a city where the temperature reaches 120 degrees, no joke! Now Im without air conditioning. It is now 114 degrees outside as Im writing this. Haier should stop making appliances!!!
I think some of the negative reviews regarding this product are from consumers who don’t know what to expect with a combo 2in1 ventless washer/dryer. This machine has exceeded my expectations. My previous machine took an hour to wash and 4 hours to dry and was more expensive than this one. As long as you don’t over fill the machine you can wash and dry a load in 3 hours and they are not wrinkled if you get them out immediately. Obviously it’s no where near the type of machine you put in your house but for an RV, it works great. I’ve had it a couple months and do 1-2 loads daily as we are full time rv-ers. As long as you know what to expect when purchasing this type of machine, it performs exactly as expected. A lifesaver when you have 2 kids and a pet in an rv.
I bought a refrigerator HA10TG31SW on Feb. 29 of 2016 that went out in June 2016. The manufacturer is Haier. I called service at 1-888-775-6937. I explain to them that the refrigerator went out, was not cooling at all. They said because it was sitting on the front porch, even though the porch was covered, the refrigerator was exposed to cold and hot weather and that the warranty was void. The first week of March was when the refrigerator was first used. Temperature average (Highs/Lows): March 64/38, Apr 73/47, May 79/57, June 87/65 taken from US Climate Data. In other words we had a mild temperature for the time the refrigerator was working. In my opinion this should in no way cause this refrigerator to go out. This was just a way to get out of repairing the refrigerator is under warranty.
We purchased a new Haier stove, model HCR2250AES in March 2019. In early May, the knob for the back right burner fell off. I called Haier as the stove was under warranty and a technician from Public Electric came to look at it. He said he would order the part, which would take 10 to 12 days. It is now July 25 and the stove is still not repaired, despite repeated phone calls to both Haier and Public Electric. Basically, there are two complaints here. The first is that the stove broke so soon after purchase. However, that sometimes will happen. The more serious complaint is that the repair has taken so long.
After 2 years of H*LL with my 4-yr old Haier refrigerator, (freezer cold, refrig too warm, fan doesnt run as often as it should - seems to be a common denominator of Haier refrigerators!!) I broke down & called my towns oldest & most reputable appliance sales/repair center. They said NEVER buy Haier! These economy brands are not build for longevity!! Seriously??? I have $50 shoes that have lasted far longer than this hunk of junk! Not only will my reputable sales/repair center NOT SELL Haier, they will NOT service it. Apparently there is too much aggravation to get replacement parts, etc! Nice job Haier! BITE ME! (It seems like the only time my fridge is happy is when the A/C is on! WTH?? It needs HELP to stay cool?? Never again, Haier! And dont count on me ever to talk nice to anyone about you & I HAVE A BIG MOUTH when I am unhappy & boy am I unhappy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
I had purchased 2 in 1 convertible fridge model Haier FF Fridge HRB 2764PMG-E, WE HAD PURCHASED IT ON 07/03/2018. JUST AFTER THE USAGE OF ONE YR AND 3 MONTHS THE FRIDGE STOPPED WORKING. When the servicemen came in to check they said that the compressor gas leakage is the problem, the gas pipeline has got rusted. Its really waste of money to buy such a worthless product which is of very low quality. I didnt have an option of giving a minus rating, products from Haier are really worthless.
This washer and dryer combo is the ABSOLUTE WORST PURCHASE I HAVE EVER MADE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. For over $1200, you get a brand new machine that considers a full load of laundry to be one sock and one tee shirt. And then it takes 6 hours to dry your one sock and one tee shirt. And then after taking 6 hours to dry, it keeps the door locked for 45 minutes to let the one sock and one tee shirt cool down before its safe to open. Our machine has broken down twice with the error code FC, locking a load of laundry in there with water in it. The first time it broke down, GE ordered the parts and the parts were on backorder for over 3 months because apparently EVERYONE else with this machine is having the same problem. I put a big enough stink up, and after 6 weeks, was able to get the machine replaced with a new one (although I lost my entire load of laundry with the broken one because they couldnt unlock it.)One month after getting the new machine, it breaks down with the same error code, FC. GE has sent out their guy on two separate occasions to fix it, and they cant fix it, telling us themselves to get another brand and that this one sucks. They represent GE and they are telling me this. They wont replace this machine. They wont stick by their brand. They order their parts from China. Their own technicians cannot understand how to fix this model. They wont give us a refund and dont offer us any means as far as being out of a washer a dryer for the last 6 weeks. Weve owned this stupid model for 6 months and it has been BROKEN on and off FOR 3 MONTHS, half the time. The worst purchase I have ever made. You would be better off throwing your money in the trash.
Consumer reports said Haier was a great refrigerator, but in 40 years it was the worst brand we ever owned. We purchased it from the blue home improvement warehouse. The freezer kept filling up with ice and the fridge would reach room temperature, probably because the vents from the freezer would block from ice. This was supposedly a de-icing freezer but we never saw that feature work properly.Over the course of 4 months the blue home improvement warehouse forced us to swap Haier fridges 5 times before they finally issued a refund. We knew the appliance installers names on a first name basis, where their kids went to school, whos birthday was that week. It was pathetic. We bought a Whirlpool fridge and 8 years later never regretted it. Haier was a major Consumer Reports FAIL and we never bought the subscription again.
Several follows ups service person came for installation after 7 days. At the time of installation display was not working, so we have contacted area manager and he promised will replace the new instruments within the couple of days. 10 days crossed now he his picking my phone calls. Now I have plan to surrender the instrument and go for the better brands. Once again I request you to please dont purchase Haier brand oven.
This is a follow up of my complaint from Sept. 26th. I finally got through to them and they told me that I would receive a refund check. Well here it is Dec. 4 and still no check. I called again and they said they had to have more substantial documents to show where I purchased the Haier convection oven, even though I sent in three documents to show where I bought it from. They called me today to tell me that my particular oven that I bought for $399.95 is only worth $200.00 now. Have you ever heard anything ridiculous before? I am at my wit’s end. I have done everything they told me and I am still getting the runaround. I’m fed up!
Paid 1200 for a Haier fridge freezer. Looked great. Stopped working after 13 months. Got warm instead of cold. Had taken out an extended warranty. 9 months later still trying to get the fridge fixed. The company have come up with numerous excuses all of which are not varied. Ive been shoved from pillar to post. Basically they take your money and then dont give a damn. They are a disgusting company and all I can say to anyone thing of buying a product from this company DONT. They are total rip offs. They are the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. They do not deserve to be in business ripping off customers the way they do. DONT buy from this company.
Here it is, February 5, 2011, I am again searching the internet for parts and a repair service (if any) for the Haier xqg5011 washing machine that I purchased for approximately $800 in about early 2006 which is yet again dead. I kept the blasted machine even though it barely works and the handle snapped off (cheap plastic door-locking mechanism and so snapped off years ago; have to use butter knife or flat-blade screwdriver to open door) I kept it only to wash small loads of socks and underwear, since thats all the machine can handle. Everything else (shirts, pants, jeans, sweaters, t-shirts), I have to cart to the laundromat, just like before I paid $800 for this piece of garbage. It still overflows and floods (and causes damage to my apartment floors and to the apartments below mine). Prior to its death again a few days ago, I had to check it every five minutes when using it to wash 5 or 6 pairs of socks and 5 or 6 boxer shorts to make sure it didnt overflow. Only thing I can say is buyer beware of Haier!
In November 2013 I purchased a brand new a Haier washer and dryer but I did not purchase the insurance protection and that was my second mistake. Purchasing Haier was the first. My mother lives in a senior citizen complex and the amount of laundry she has is about one good load a week. So to keep her from having to go to the laundromat since she in a wheelchair, we got this set for her to make her life less stressful.Four months later the dryer starts spinning a load and did not stop without unplugging. Called for service and a repair man came said it needed a replacement for a part that I cannot remember what the part was. But he said it shouldnt be more than a week or so and he will return and put the part in all will be done. Well he never came back, said the part never came in. I was told this after four calls trying to find out what happened with the part coming in and where is the repairman.Nothing was ever done because by this time it was no longer under the six months of warranty. On my own with getting this fixed which after contacting four different appliance repair companies, no one wants to touch anything made by Haier. So you say we still have a washing machine, wish that was true. In April of 2014 the washing machine would stop in the middle of spinning a load in the rinse cycle. Sometimes we can let the washer start over, which it will do on its own or we can stop it, wait awhile, push the knob and hope it continues which it sometimes does and other times it will not complete washing and I have to take the dripping wet clothes out, squeeze them out the best I can and go to the laundromat to either finish washing or try to dry the clothes, depending on how wet they are. I am out of money spent on purchasing appliances intended to make life easier for my mother instead I have more work on me now because she is not able to do all that must be done to do a load of clothes. My mother is stuck with a washer and dryer that is not 2 years old that do not work nor can we find a service company that will try to fix either appliance became of the bad reputation of the quality of Haier products. Not sure how writing this will help my mother or me in our situation but maybe it will help someone to stop and think before purchasing any Haier products. Thank you.
I purchased my Brada washer January 2014. I have used it for a year and a half and it will not spin. Can hear it trying to catch but it cant. I am assuming either a transmission issue or gear. Service call is set for Friday and already out $100.
I have purchased a Haier Front load Washing machine with DD motor facility which is wash clothes silently, now I can use my washing machine while my children is sleeping. Thank you Haier. I am happy with Haier front load DD Washing machine.
I purchased 4 GE CAFE appliances January 27, 2019. The fridge and stove were defective. The second fridge they sent was defective as well and was returned. I still have yet to have customer service call me back about my stove. It is now one month that I have a defective stove. I am not buying another GE fridge and currently do not have a fridge. Its terrible to know that your expensive appliances are defective and one has to fight every day for someone to follow up. I had GE products for 29 years previously but obviously now the quality of products and service has gone downhill maybe since Haier has taken over??? Where is quality control? Are all the appliances refurbished hence the issues? Am I getting someone elses returned product? The whole experience has been so disappointing. Customers should expect working appliances and excellent customer service. I do not expect service done on brand new appliances that have not even been plugged in. That is unacceptable.
I have purchased Haier HSU18C-NMW3B model which having self clean technology. Self clean Technology provides complete wet wash of AC's indoor unit and keeps air clean with better cooling. It comes with hyper PCB which helps to provide cooling in extreme temperature up to 60 degree. Triple inverter Technology helps to take care of my cooling, my comfort and voltage fluctuation worries. Thanks to Haier for such wonderful product.
Purchased a Haier microwave in December 2015. It stopped working in February of 2016. Haier said warranty had expired. Previous GE microwave lasted 15 years. Haier didnt last 15 months. Will never purchase another Haier product. Ever!!
Bought a Haier appliance package from The Home Depot. My kitchen isn't so big so I had to go with smaller appliances. The associates at Home Depot helped me find everything. 18'' Dishwasher, 24'' Range and over the range microwave, as well as a small awesome four door fridge that Haier makes. Did you know Haier owns GE now? Anyways. Delivery was questionable as the dates got pushed back 3 times... However, Home Depot issued me a $200 credit just for the wait. Finally received appliances and have had them for a year now. They work great so far! Extremely please with the aesthetic and functional quality.
Purchased Haier HRF-336IDB Refrigerator in Pakistan. Its Temp Set function found out of order. Freezer Zone Temp was showing -18oC since it was unpacked and turned on and was not changing, even after 24 hrs. In addition, Fridge Zone Temperature was changing from nos. 1-7 but not setting/locking on desired no. Launched complaint, technical support came and said straight away that Freezer Zone Temp does not change at all. Moreover, Fridge Zone Temperature will change as soon as its internal Temperature becomes warm or cool. I presented them its user manual and asked to point out all those statements, which you just said regarding setting Fridge and Freezer Zone Temperatures manually. He had no answer and again re iterated above-mentioned pathetic illiterate response. Bought him a hot glass of water to put those inside fridge and freezer zone sensors in it. He did the same repeatedly and the temperatures did not change. At last, their technical support accepted that the item is faulty. I returned the refrigerator directly to Haier Pakistan and took my money back with the help of a reference there, otherwise, they do not have any money back guarantee/policy and they do not take back their pathetic, third class Chinese, faulty products, even if you give it back for free. Never buy Haier products, especially in Pakistan. Their products and services have gone extraordinarily pathetic. All this negative credit goes to their TOP MANAGEMENT and QUALITY DEPARTMENT who are very tactically and skillfully looting and plundering innocent people of Pakistan. Lastly, their QUALITY DEPARTMENT also seems drunk all the time, as I have found several QC PASSED and PAKISTAN STANDARDS stickers on the item but its basic functions were not working, and their innocent technical staff tried to impose their versions of manually setting Freezer and Fridge Zone Settings.
I purchased a washer and dryer in March of 2011 from Conns Appliance. I got them home and the dryer would work. The machine light indicated on but would not spin, the washer worked fine. So I took the dryer back to Conn’s and they replaced it. The second dryer did the same, made a loud noise and did nothing else. I was told that maybe the electric source in the home was not enough to power the dryer, so I rewired. Still, it did not work. I called Haier to report the problem. After changing the first appointment, they finally came out and their repairman said that I needed a new electric plug. The manufacturer’s warranty was up, so I was stuck with a brand new dryer that never worked once. Here it is now 2013 and the washer is broken - will not rinse or spin. Their products are trash and I do not recommend anyone to buy them. I am very angry because I did not get much use out of them, because I had them stored away for a whole year awaiting the purchase of my home. So the washer has only been in use for five months. The bottom line is that they were purchased in 2011, in which the dryer never worked once, the washer worked a few months in 2012 and both are broken in 2013. No need to call Haier for help because that would be a waste of valuable time. They sell trash and I dont understand any company is willing to sell their products. I will never purchase their products of any kind again and will not recommend them to my worst enemy.
We bought this appliance set 04/12. A few months later, we had our first problem with the machine; it tore our clothes, pulled out threads, and did damage for more than $400. We had parts replaced more than 3 times. After many calls, I spoke with the manager and asked for a full refund. He told me that he would send out the information for the refund. I never received a phone call, email, or letter. No one contacted me for more than a month. After a phone call today (I called), 05/21/2013, I was told they didnt contact me because they had it in a file - that I didnt want that insurance (I paid for an extra 5 year warranty!). The truth is that I told them I dont want the machine! That was their excuse for not contacting me for over a month?! The truth is that I told them I dont want the machine set! I wanted the full refund. Today is May 21, 2013. The machine is still useless, and I still dont have a working machine, or the full refund, and no refund for my torn clothes. The only thing I heard from them is, Sorry that happened. Sorry does not pay for my damaged laundry or public laundromats that I am forced to use now. I complained many times, and I called but nothing was solved. The only thing that they offered was a new same type of machine that I dont want! Is there any help out there on how to solve this problem? Im very afraid to agree with them on a new part or replacement of the machine.
An absolute nightmare from start to finish. Bought the fridge freezer five years ago. It broke down six times within three years and was replaced. On each occasion had to spend over two hours on phone before help line answered and arranged technician to come round - three weeks later! Replacement almost as bad. Broke down three times, then had reasonably good run of just over two years - so warranty ran out when it packed up yet again. Freezer okay, but rotor driving cold air from freezer to fridge kept icing up. Same problem, eight different technicians but all unable to solve problem. Am now looking for another fridge. Great shame. Fisher and Paykel used to be great company, with ultra reliable appliances, but gone to dogs since taken over by Haier.
I bought my first one in June 2014, freezer went nuts minus 20 frig part 60. Haier would not work with me to fix it. Lowes replaced it with another one. This is my second, had it about 2 months, its now doing the same as the other one. I will never buy anything made by this company again.
I bought the set of Haier Washer and Dry from HH Gregg November 15, 2012. All was fine until one Sunday the washer no longer would drain or spin. I contact Haier and they issued a call ticket number for my local service company ARC Service in Richmond VA. I began reaching out to them and it took 2 business days before anyone would answer the business phone. No voice mail and the email address they gave me was bouncing back. Once I set up an appt. they sent out a service tech. He looked the machine, said it was the compositor and they would order this part. Four days later without any word from the service company I finally was able to get them on the line. A new service tech came out the next day, mind you this has been well over a week now, and he installed new compositor and this did nothing to the machine. Service tech I heard on the phone with his boss going back and forth. They took the tub out of the washer, found nothing jamming the motor. Now they believe it is a motor or control panel. They can only order 1 part a time and was told it would take 2-3 weeks to get the new motor. I am getting absolutely no help from Haier. When I call I am told nothing they can do. Then I am once again for the last 2 days trying to get a hold of my local service company ARC Service and no answer. This is beyond unacceptable. This morning I called HH Gregg to log a complaint and will be waiting for them to contact me through their vendor control department. I would recommend no one purchase a Haier Appliance or use the Richmond VA based service company ARC Service.
I bought a Haier washer (encore) 1 1/2 years ago from ABC Warehouse in Elkhart, IN. 1 and 1/2 years later, the drum basin dropped 2. It wont rinse and spin. Model #RWT350AW. I never even used the extra large load. Im stymied, after doing laundry for 2 people for 5 years, leaving my old washer in the home I sold. Why such a sudden breakdown in a new washer? I called ABC, no info on the techs to fix. I called Haier, no service care in Indiana. Burnt up the phone trying to find a tech to fix. $214 for Sears to fix and warranty parts and labor for 1 year. What other choice do I have?! 1/2 the price of the new washer on sale. Trust me, it was installed right and I know how to wash clothes. I didnt ask them right when I bought it. But the salesman surely talked it up before I paid for it. Big mistake.People out there buying a TV or any other home appliance, ask for a year in advance. Parts only might be whats covered and that could be a lot of cash. Plus, finding a tech to service it might be tough. Ill never buy from ABC Warehouse again. Live and learn my friends.
Your product is very good working but its spare parts is not available in market. For example my mobile l50 it's touch break and touch is not available in market so my product is waste but your product working very good.
I went to my French door Haier fridge yesterday to notice the fridge up the top wasn't working but the freezer was perfectly fine. On the orange LCD screen on the fridge door the fridge temp had disappeared. After stressing & cursing I started to hunt down my owners manual ready to produce to a fridge repairman that would be attending the next day. My Haier is 3 years old so I was out of warranty too. Finally I found the manual & amazingly found there's an option to turn OFF the fridge and/or the freezer by using the LCD panel on the front of the fridge. If I had not kept my instruction manual I would have either been ripped off by a repairman or had to go out & spend another $2000 on a brand new fridge. Check the manual & be knowledgeable about your fridge with using & setting the temps, etc. After you have all settings in place press the LOCK button so nobody will change settings or accidentally turn your fridge or freezer off like what happened to me. The settings for perfect temp for fridge should be 3 degrees & the freezer should be set at -18 degrees.
Do NOT buy a Haier product! I have owned Kenmore refrigerators for 25 years and they are still working and have I NEVER had a problem with them. Four years and 9 months ago, I made a bad decision and bought a Haier refrigerator that was on sale at HH Gregg. I even paid for an extended warranty. The refrigerator has already stopped working and it has not been 5 years yet! Who buys a refrigerator to last only 5 years or less! Terrible! Do not throw away your money! The company is terrible and they have a list of excuses as to why they cannot repair the product.
We needed a microwave for a small space, and this was the only one we could find that would fit. We were pleasantly surprised at the options and full capabilities this microwave offered. It was a little pricey for the size.
I purchased a Haier refrigerator for my new condo. Space was limited so I needed the largest refrigerator that would fit in my kitchen. I have now had it for over a year and it has been perfect as my brother just bought one yesterday after he seen how happy I was with my purchase.
About 1 year and 2 weeks after the purchase of my new Haier refrigerator from HHgregg, the handle broke off in my 10yr old daughters hand. Both HHgregg and Haier said it is out of warranty. Even with my extended warranty, it does not cover the handle! Haier of the Philippines did say though that they would replace the handle if I could email them a copy of the receipt!! Haier representative gave me bogus email address to send it to!! When I call back to get a correct email address, a different representative could not even find the account again!!! So I guess the American public gets screwed by an overseas company again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did talk to a supervisor at Haier of the Philippines named Jonathan who said they will not do anything!!!!
After purchasing the refrigerator in 2013, it is no longer getting cold on the bottom. I realize that it is out of warranty, but a refrigerator should last more than 5 years. I am having trouble finding a local repair company to service this product. Nobody wants to work on it. I will never purchase an Haier product again.
Haier Bottom Mounted Refrigerator is very much attractive in this segment. We can use this Bmr in different modes. 10yrs compressor and fan motor warranty makes life easier. This is best for aged womens. Value for money.
The best feature is - you can stop the cycle and let the clothes soak to soak out deep stains. Then you can resume cycle by restarting to any cycle type you want. If you stop the cycle, the water stays in the tub. You can look for more clothes to fill up the tub. Then, you can change the water level to a higher setting. It cleans the clothes very well. The delicate cycle works well without damaging the items.
Tight fit but we made it work in our 2005 Winnebago Journey 39K
I purchased a washer and dryer 12/12, with 2 service calls noted, haier will not do anything. Washer spins the clothes into a rope, they both make terrible noises, the dryer is now failed. Do not buy haier.
I really appreciate the work of your Thane branch engg Mr.Raghu ** services engg, he comes for installation of refrigerator after his working hours also over and he really help us. Thank you so much Haier for your help and for a lovely product.
The PERFORMANCE of the fridge is so bad that even one star would be an insult for the star itself. Worst fridge ever. Within 6 months I have complained 4 or 5 times. The compressor has been changed once and within 2 weeks the fridge is giving zero cooling and again not working. Poor PERFORMANCE poor MAINTENANCE and poor CUSTOMER SERVICE. Plz plz SAVE YOUR MONEY AND PLZ DONT BUY IT. They have got the worst compressor ever. Everything is pathetic with this fridge and company.
I purchased a refrigerator online on July 22nd and it was delivered on July 26th, it broke down a week later, called for service, repairman came out and determined that the compressor was bad. I called and told them that I did not want that refrigerator and requested a replacement, well that had to decide if they would replace it. Almost 2 weeks later they said they would replace it. Called back a week later to find out why I had not heard anything only to find out the order had been cancelled and they would be returning my money, as of this date Im still waiting for them to pick up the refrigerator and give me my money back. This experience has been horrendous and totally unacceptable. When they cancelled the replacement refrigerator as it was out of stock, I was never notified. Nor did they offer a substitute. I would never buy another GE or Haier product ever again and I have instructed my friends and family likewise.
I bought an awesome GE refrigerator that arrived with a dented door. The GE repair man ordered the door from Haier Appliances Parts LLC which did not arrive the day he came to do the repair, so he ordered a second door. I then had 2 big boxes with the doors sitting in my living room. He came switched my door, then I had to contact Haier to find out how to return the new and old doors to them. I was told which company was going to do the pick up and when I asked, they had no confirmation number or a date when the pick up would happen. I was told to just wait for the call. Several days after no call, I called again. I was given the same information and no date as to when the doors would be picked up. I just had to wait for the company to contact me to schedule the pick up.A week later, the doors are still sitting in my living room so I called again. Received the same information but this time was told that the doors would be picked up on a Wednesday and that I could leave them at the front door and they would be picked up. I come back home Wednesday evening to find the doors sitting at front of my door. Leave them there all night and half of Thursday. No pick up.I called Haier again and I am first told that they have made three attempts to pick up the doors, which is not true as evidenced by the phone clerk telling me that the pick up company had the wrong phone number (provided by Haier) and for that reason have not been able to contact me to schedule the pick up. This time I was given a tracking number for the pick up and a phone number to call the pick up company... So as you can see, the no hassle returns was not the experience that I had. I dragged the boxes back inside. This return has been a big hassle and I will have to admire these two large boxes for another 3 days before they are picked up.
I bought a Haier Portable Washing Machine HLP23E. Worked great for a while. Then it started going through the same cycle over and over, until finally, it would rinse and go through that one 2-3 times and finally spin. Then it didnt drain and would kick to the next cycle and start filling up, flooding my house. When I reached in the washer, it shocked the ** out of me. Ive been calling Haier for two months now, and each time, they say Oh, someone will contact you in the next three business days...NOT!!! These folks warranty SUCKS!!! I want my money back!!! Lying bunch of people. If you cant get me a repairman, send me a damn new one!!!
My Name Is VINOTH, Im From Chennai. Last 8 year back, I buy Haier washing machine. There is no any problem but 19/11/2015, I have problem, washing machine not working. I call Haier customer care, they say technical person comes on 24 hours but there is none responsible. And I call day after day, 29/11/2015 no responsible technical person. Please friends dont buy any Haier product. This is worst company, worst customer service.
I had Haiers 2.0 cubit foot Washer Dryer Combo Unit in white for six months before it broke. It took three months to get it fixed/replaced. The entire process was utterly bizarre, and a small nightmare of customer service insanity. Heres a breakdown of what went on: Number of times I took off from work, rearranged my schedule, and stayed home for an all-day service window appointment, all so that at the end of the day I still didn’t have a washer dryer combo unit that would wash (or dry) my clothes: SEVEN (7). Number of times truly bizarre and eldritch things which occurred during repair process: EIGHT (8). Specifically, 1- Haier at first contracted with a repair company that DOES NOT REPAIR HAIER MACHINES. 2- Haier’s computer system doesn’t tell Haier if the repair request has been rejected by the repair subcontractor.3- Haier reported that they had no one who would repair in my area. (I live in Buffalo, NY, half way between Chicago, Washington, DC, and NYC... not in North Dakota, or Alaska.) 4- Haier’s repair subcontractor is not allowed to stock any parts on the truck. They must all be special ordered, one at a time. Which takes weeks. Each time. For each part. Which are all back ordered, or simply out of stock. And the parts aren’t guaranteed to work, when installed. Ask me how I know.5- The first replacement washer dryer combo unit arrived, broken, having obviously been dropped somewhere in transit. The sides were bulging. 6- Haier’s repair subcontrator tech begs me on two separate visits to get Haier to send me a replacement, because the number of times he has come out, only to not be able to fix my machine is messing up his ratio of visits to closed cases. 7- Haier’s robo call system is guaranteed, I discovered, to call me with dire threats should I not return a call, when I have already in fact returned that call, or dealt with that business – yet it happened every single time. 8- Haier’s customer service personnel routinely claim they have called or emailed, or will call or email, and they haven’t or don’t – and not because I’ve called instead. They just don’t. If I didn’t keep such meticulous notes of our interactions, their gaslighting might have worked.Number of times I received an email from Haier saying that they had called me when they hadn’t, or promised to call me on a certain date and then they didn’t: TEN (10). Number of times I received a call from Haier citing an email they had sent, that I never received: TWO (2). Number of robo calls I received informing me that I MUST call Haier back immediately for something that I already called Haier about earlier in the day: TWENTY-THREE (23). Amount of laundry reimbursement received from Haier, over the course of three months without a laundry machine: ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).Full disclosure: The maximum is usually $75, so I was told by Haier. When I pointed out that their average wait time for repair couldn’t possibly be on the order of months, I was granted an extra $25. Number of months I had clothes locked and getting disgusting in my laundry machine: THREE (3). Number of irreplaceable items of clothing that were locked in said machine for three months: TWO (2). Specifically, 1- The race t-shirt from my first half-marathon. 2- The hand-embroidered handkerchief one of my sisters brought me back from Italy.Number of otherwise expensive or difficult to replace items of clothing that were locked in said machine for three months: THREE (3). Specifically, 1- A pair of work pants from Lane Bryant that had been tailored to fit me. 2- A clergy shirt I had made out of tech fabric. 3- An insulative base layer I made for my husband. Number of times Haier asked me if I had receipts for any of my clothing locked in the machine: FIVE (5).Amount of clothes reimbursement received from Haier, after duly sending pictures of all the clothes, once they were out of the machine: ZERO DOLLARS ($0). Full disclosure: I’ve been told by Haier that the standard reimbursement is no more than $150. When I finally asked how much we would get, I was told, “the company has declined your request for reimbursement.” And you know, $150 would have replaced my one work outfit, and nothing else – a clergy shirt, and a tailored pair of pants – but it would have been something. A token gesture. A token gesture which would have kept me from shaming the corporation online. The token gesture I did get was an extended warranty, on top of the standard one-year manufacturer’s warranty for the newly delivered replacement. For how long, you ask? A year? Two years? Five years?...no. Six months extra.
If you plan on purchasing a Haier product, buy the best warranty offered by your retailer. Their product is crap! My washing machine is 10 1/2 months old and has needed repairs three times already. My warranty is about to expire in 6 weeks, and I am not offered by Brandsmart or Haier the possibility of getting an extended warranty. Reading all the comments on this page and seeing what customer service Haier has to offer, I would avoid Haier all together!
Bought Haier freezer 10 months ago with extended warranty (mistake). Freezer not cooling correctly. Called Haier hotline for customer no service. Couldnt get a tech to our area for 3 DAYS. Will lose hundreds of $ in food. Haier said best they can do as it takes that long to process complaints thru THEIR system. Will never ever ever ever ever buy or deal with Haier again.
I bought a Haier 5.0 cu deep freeze from Walmart, Im thinking thats my first mistake. I didnt have it for 9 months and the compressor took a crap. I contacted Walmart first considering thats where I had bought it, they suggested to call Haier. I called Haier and the lady that took my information was extremely nice and apologetic. I talked to and emailed several people after this, yes emailed... The case manager never answers the phone and you cant leave messages often because the voicemail is full.I was then informed they dont call back considering its an incoming call center. Really, WOW!!... So I got my pictures of what I could take that was already in the trash. I didnt take pictures of everything because it smelled so bad! I sent all my pictures, receipts, costs of food I lost, etc. I lost over $500 worth of food. They reimbursed me the cost of the piece of crap unit and $210 in food. That was unacceptable but because I didnt inventory everything in there and prove it was in there thats all they could do for me. I did also learn that Haier is a GE product, so I will NEVER buy a Haier product again and knowing GE is a subsidiary of this company, I wont be doing any freezers by them either.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from this manufacturer!! I bought a fridge and after 5 months stop working. THEY DENIED returning my money and told me to take the fridge to their shop. I am a woman. How I am suppose to carry a fridge left and right??? So I need to pay someone / arrange people to help me with this. So inconvenient and doesnt worth my money and time.
I purchased a Haier wine cooler 10/14. In under 4 years both the compressor and dryer went out. The compressor is covered under 5 yr “sealed system” warranty, but the dryer is not. They can no longer source the dryer part and offered me $150 to buy new one of my choice or a “discounted” rate of $700 for a new GE model. I will never buy another GE Haier model of appliance, because quite simply they do not stand behind their product. I was told by consumer services the unit is “old”. Based on other reviews...consider 4 hrs all you will get out of these poorly made products.
The oven is competitively priced at about $1200. Sadly it arrived with trays that don’t stay in the rungs. This means when you put anything in the trays they collapse down to the bottom of the oven, which is perilous. So we called and they sent new trays. They didn’t fit. So we called and they sent a guy round who said the inside of the oven is defective and bowed. So we called again. They said they don’t have any installers that can do the wiring so we have to arrange for an electrician to remove the wiring and then another visit to install the new wiring. They said they will offer $150 to pay the electrician. (No way you could get an electrician round for that in Boston.) There is no option of a full refund. I wish I had bought the Bosch one. This company basically doesn’t really stand behind its products and it seems the products are prone to defects. Just duck this company (Haier brand) completely. Amazingly poor aftercare service and almost nonexistent complaints proceedings. Considering legal options.
We bought a Haier top-freezer refrigerator from Lowe's in 2017 for our "new" house. We love it! I keep a fridge thermometer in it and it always registers the perfect temperature. I have recommended this type and brand of refrigerator to clients and friends.
The Haier range arrived too damaged to use. I contacted Customer Service who reviewed the pictures they requested and eventually settled upon offering me $50.00 for a range that I purchased for $1,435.00 without a replacement range. It seems this is a criminal matter. The retail store which I purchased the range from, eventually honored the purchase. This is not how companies in the U.S. operate. Shame on Haier and their company policies. It is absolutely ridiculous.
I purchased a washing machine from HH Gregg last year.in the month of February. The washing machine stopped working four months after I purchased it. The dryer stopped working 17 months after I purchased the matching pair. The washer, I was refunded the price of the machine. The dryer on the other hand is out of warranty. I must say I am very disappointed with their appliances. I have to pay someone to come and repair the dryer. This is what I was told by a woman of God on the telephone in conversation with her 3 days ago. I wish I had never brought these washer and dryer pair by this company. I have several other items I purchased, I only can hope they dont stop working to the Lord. Jesus knows I am praying for a better dryer now.
The refrigerator lights broke and will cost over $100 for parts alone plus service. The refrigerator was less than 1yr old when I contacted Haier (horrible customer service. Delivery was a month after purchase.) I will NEVER buy Haier or GE products again... And I will keep going out of my way to spread the word to anyone. Shame on this company. DO NOT BUY THIS REFRIGERATOR MODEL #HRB15N3BGS.
I bought this fridge in the beginning of November, and within a week, I noticed the freezer frosted over. So I called customer service. Since it was only a week old, it was under warranty still. They sent someone out who I had to wait two weeks for. He said it was unfixable and he would file the papers and let me know the information I needed. I didnt hear from him, so I called a week later. He said he was out of the office but would call me with the info. No call and he never answered his phone or had a machine. So, I called Haier. They said they just received the paperwork that day and it had to be okd by their engineers, which took 3-5 business days. I got a callback 6 business days later saying they still hadnt heard anything. Then, I called a few days later and nothing. A few days later, I called again and still nothing, but I was told a supervisor was on it and she was going to call me back later that day. No call. I called the next day, told them what had happened, got mad, and got hung up on. I called back, demanded to talk to a supervisor, and was told by Rich that he was personally going to take care of this issue and get my replacement in a timely manner. I said 21 days, which is how long I had been waiting by then, was past being timely all ready. He was sorry, and he said he would call me back the next day with or without any info he was able to get. No call! Bunch of **. They dont honor their warranties, and they sell products that they know are crap! So now its three weeks later and over a month since I called the first time and I still have a defective fridge and no answer from Haier! Close this company down!
I purchased a new Haier refrigerator July 2014 (The original refrigerator delivered need to be replaced immediately because of broken light that could not be repaired). In July 2015 the refrigerator stopped cooling. Haier sent out contractor twice and they have done various fixes over a two week period but, the refrigerator will be 59 degrees one day than 39 degrees the next. When I called Haier customer services they would not let me talk to a manager as requested. I need to send them a picture of the temperature. This is my first purchase of a Haier product but most likely my last. I have had other makes of refrigerators that lasted 20 years without needing a repair.
I didn’t want to have to resort to posting on such a public forum but I have had no choice but to do so! I purchased a Haier machine in April 2018 and 6 weeks later I had issues with the machine, where it was overflowing with water 4 times in total which caused watermarks to my carpet. I had a Fisher and Paykel approved technician who came out and had a look and completed a repair and left. The machine continued to overflow again and the technician was out again and in his report said that the sensor that monitors the water level was faulty and he suggested a full machine replacement. In August last year it was replaced with a like for like (the same machine) about 8 months passed when number 1 issue on the 2nd Haier unit happened where the spin cycle would shake the unit vigorously as per video. The technician was out again and replaced the barrel inside as this was not balancing (again manufacturing issue).3 weeks later issue number 2 on the 2nd Haier unit happened and the machine wouldn’t drain the water. The tech was out again and replaced the water pump, again manufacturing issue. Another 3 weeks passed and issue number 3 on the 2nd Haier unit happened where the spin was again like how it is in the video. The tech arrived again and replaced the shocks. 2 weeks later we arrive at issue number 4 on 2nd Haier unit occurred as you can see below .... vigorous spin. The tech just arrived and told me he has already replaced all parts therefore he is going to put in his report and request for a brand new 3rd unit to be replaced!!! All throughout this entire journey I have spent hours and hours and hours on the phone with numerous staff members who have promised the world and promised to call me back and they never did, only Aleni who is awesome. You should have more of him! I am always having to call to follow it up.Every time I have booked a technician I have waited for 1 to 2 weeks for an appointment to be seen and without a washing machine for weeks on end maybe even months as waiting for parts and appointments. I have been given a $100 countdown voucher for the “inconvenience” and over a year later I’m still waiting for my carpets to be cleaned as a result of issue 1 machine 1! This is shocking! The manager Sue never calls me. She avoids me, I have spent an hour explaining my situation every time I call. As we know Haier brought fisher and Paykel and due to all these issues and me having no trust in this brand I have asked them to replace me with a fisher and Paykel branded machine but they refuse to, they told me I have to buy a brand new fisher and Paykel machine as their policy is like for like ...Do not get me wrong. I don’t care that Haier is cheaper than a fisher and Paykel machine and I would be happy to have the Haier if only it worked but it doesn’t ... so I’m purchasing a new machine as we speak ... Fisher and Paykel off my own back and I will fight this all the way. Please be mindful. I have had 6 tech visits = $115 each visit total: $690 plus 2 replacement machines $1096 plus Countdown voucher $100. Carpet clean from overflowing of water $120. Hours upon hours of time on phone with your staff = cost of wages with a total cost to the company of $2106 plus wages for staff talking to me.Cost of Haier unit that I have, today’s price $548. Cost of replacement unit from fisher and Paykel is $939 plus delivery $85 = $1024 the difference between the two prices is $476 so that means over a price difference of $476 the company has spent $2106 plus wages on arguing the point of replacement ... ahhh come on already any primary school child would be able to work the maths out on this one! I hope this post reaches the powers above whom will agree if they have common sense!
I order a refrigerator and freezer door handle in black and a microwave door also in black. Well I received the door handles however when I got the microwave door it was white. Called back for them to send me out the right door and yet again they still sent me another white door but they want to keep charging my credit card for THEIR dumb ass mistakes. So I have talked to supervisors and assistant managers and yet again no one can get me my right merchandise. Now remind you that I did all this within the month of February. So now its like the 4th day of March and now they are telling me to send back the second white door and that my order for a black door is on back order until April 20th. How crazy is that? So now I am really frustrated so I told them to cancel the whole damn order and I will never ever ever use their merchandise again. So disappointed in them.
I bought a Haier refrigerator for the breakroom at my shop on May 1, 2016. On November 25, 2016 the refrigerator stopped cooling. I submitted a repair request and was then told Im out of luck because the item is being used in a business. That refrigerator gets used much, much less than if it were at my home. We are a small, 4 person business. We cant afford to replace a $350 refrigerator every 7 months. I contacted a local repair shop who quoted me $150-200 to fix the darn thing. And he recommended we trash the Haier and buy a reliable brand, which in his experience, Haier is not. Im very upset at myself. I read all the bad reviews before buying the Haier but thought I would be the lucky one and not get a piece of junk.
First you buy an expensive electronic from a trusted company, which is going to last many year. Then you realize that this refrigerator only has a working light-bulb and not cooling the food. While all the food rots inside, the company sends repairman after many days. Repairman makes temporary fix, so we need to call Haier within a few days and they send the repairman after many more days. This cycle has been going on since the first week when we bought this expensive junk. Not only has the company not refunded us but they insist on us eating food from this fungus infested box of metal. Which raises concerns of responsible authorities who are either corrupt or not receiving the information about such criminal behavior. The matter needs to be resolved at the soonest, not more than 24 hours, as the longer we take, the more we will suffer and in the end you will find a dead family of humans who believed the company Haier and trusted the Indian system for the best quality of life.
I so wish I wouldve looked at the reviews before this Haier washer was purchased. Only after one month, the washer makes a lot of noise. While washing, it would wash and stop, then wash again. Same for the spin cycle. Customer service SUCKS. They just gave us the runaround and gave us different numbers to call only to be put on hold. FINALLY, I was given a local number to call and he told me itll take five days to get in touch with me, and if I dont hear from them within the five days, to start all over again a call back. One of the numbers we called told us that Haier products were on the BOTTOM of the list, meaning WORST products. Why pay for a five-year warranty for appliances that dont work in the beginning? Haier products SUCK. We were better off keeping the old washer that you had to spin the clothes twice. :(
Our Haier dishwasher broke less than one month within warranty. When we called customer service, they told us they would get in contact with an authorized repair shop. Two weeks later, they call to tell us there is no authorized shop in our area. They will ship us a new machine if we send them the serial number tag, which we will have to install at our own expense. Three weeks later, our new dishwasher arrives, dented and damaged. After we sent them pictures of the damaged replacement, we waited another week with no response from Haier. Had this dishwasher broken a few weeks later, our extended warranty would have applied, and the store we bought it from would have repaired it free of charge. Haier would not allow us to apply the extended warranty early, even though the store offered to honor it. The extended warranty is now void as we sent the serial number tag to Haier.
I bought a washing machine in September 2012. My washer was still on warranty when it broke after four months. They sent a technician from a local authorized dealer. So far (8 weeks later), my washer is still down. I had eight visits so far to repair it, and they still can’t figure it out what is going on. They keep replacing parts (probably worth more than the actual washer). I talked to their customer service so many times, and it is the worst customer support I have ever dealt with. I understand that machines break, but this is more than ridiculous now. Stay away from this company as far as you can.
I purchase this ref. in August, 2013. In October the food was freezing in the refrigerator. Tried to return item to Lowes. They said the return date has expired and call Haier. October 30, called Haier customer service numbers. They sent arranged and sent repair person, upstate appliance. Repair person arrived 10/30/2013, examine the ref. Stated it was broken thermos and other items was broken. Stated the part will take about 2 weeks to arrive. After 2 weeks I call the company again and Haier they confirmed the statement. I then started call Haier customer service. Spoke with Sarah asking for them issue a credit for a better ref. Told she had to contact admin. for approval. I DID not want a replacement on a new ref just credit for purchase of another. Nov 11 2013 call again told the issue has not been resolve. Food is over freezing.
Purchased a $700 wine cooler Haier refrigerator and the nightmare began. The door did not seal properly and was not level on the top. After removing the door I discovered that the factory drilled holes for the top mounting hardware (top right of door) were not drilled correctly. They were drilled off line and incorrectly during the manufacturing process and not in the right position. This caused the hardware to mount improperly and the door to sit out of level. I switched the door to the left side mounting holes and fortunately the holes on the top left of the unit were drilled in the right position during the manufacturing process. Also, with absolutely no assistance and support from customer service. I called customer service 3 times and not one representative that answered the phone could understand or assist with the problem. Furthermore I was promised a callback in response to emails with pictures that I sent and not one company representative bothered to respond. Your call center named Haier America is far from anything that personifies America and quality and values. 3 call center reps that I spoke with are being paid to answer phones and provide support and they all failed miserably. So you have lost a customer forever and trust me I will never, ever purchase another Haier product. One would think that Haier would want to build their business by expanding their customer base. I finally reached executive relations and they deemed the wine cooler to be defective and requested that I haul this refrigerator back to Lowes Home centers to try and get a replacement. This is unacceptable. I no longer own a pickup truck and I have no means to haul this heavy cooler back to the store. They will not budge on their nonsolution so I am screwed. Never Again!!!
I love the fact that I don't have to take the clothes out to dry them
In June of this year, I ordered a Haier convection oven for $399.95; and when I received it, the handle was broken on the door. I called Haier warranty exchanges, and they gave me a ticket number and told me to send it back for a replacement. I waited and waited and didnt receive a replacement. I then called them, and they said they didnt have the style I wanted and asked me if a replacement of equal or higher value would be alright. I said that would be alright if it was the same size as the one I ordered. They said they would send one and expect it in 7 to 9 business days. Well, I waited three weeks and still no oven. I called them on the 26th of Sept. and asked them why I havent received my replacement oven. They told me that they could not send a replacement oven and they would send a refund check in 45 days. Why forty-five days! They have lied to me every time I’ve called them. I will never buy another Haier product, ever!
I bought this product a year ago. Right at the year mark, I started having problems with it. I called a repair person that Haier suggested in the area I live and he described exactly what was wrong with my washer without even coming to see it. He said it was not unusual for these washers to have that problem. What is happening is that no matter how leveled the load is, it is sensing it as unleveled. Do not buy this product. Now I have to pay, on top of the $300 plus that I paid for the washer, $80 to get it repaired!
Installed washer and did not work. Technician came out 5 days later to inform me that the unit needed a whole new board (A BRAND NEW UNIT NEEDS ANOTHER BOARD). Called the manufacturer requesting a new washer. They insist that I try new parts first (could take from 1 to 2 weeks) before resorting to new washer. I explained that this is for a rental unit and my retro has already been without a washer for a month. They did not care. Im very angry.
Haier Double Door Refrigerator. Worst product ever. Never Recommend to anyone. Bought Haier refrigerator in the month of May 2015. Today, I have filed complaint for third time. The engineers are not able to fix the problem till date and company is not even willing to provide the replacement of the product.
I bought this model because of the low decibel rating and excellent price. I have purchased Haier products in the past. They withstand the test of time. Excellent products!
DON’T BUY THIS FRIDGE! I’ve had issues with this fridge since the day I bought it. I’ve had to call the company 7 times and had the company come and fix it twice because of screws falling out and all the noise it makes. It’s been such a headache. I give it NO STARS.
Got a great price on a Haier washer and dryer set at Ollies Bargain Outlet. Worst thing I could have ever done. Looked up reviews before buying and had great reviews at the time. Now all I see online is complaints of their product, but especially the service. I can wholly relate now... I call warranty repair 2 weeks ago, they sent out Gabes Appliance Repair. Repairman comes out without proper replacement parts! I had company coming and there were 10 of us with no washer for towels, etc. It has been two weeks and I just called a few minutes ago and get the same or prewritten nonsense from a foreign call center that basically knows nothing!!! I ask when my repair will be done and she called the repair center. I found out after 2 weeks they still havent received the wiring harness that was in stock at Haier!!! So now I am told to wait for their call when they get the part with no idea why the part was not shipped 2 weeks ago and if or when it will be shipped! Do not buy Haier and they are not made in America. They are Chinese crap that at one time was owned by a German company for a while but now is wholly Chinese. I have never had these problems with my Whirlpool or Kenmore. I know the stuff made today is crap, but this goes to a whole new level of low. Spend the few extra dollars for a product that actually cares about service in a timely manner. How I wish I had done more research. The most frustrating is the could care less attitude of the Haier help line. They are polite, but worthless…
I searched all over for the best fridge for my home bar area. I wanted one that could chill white wine as well as beer/soda at the same time. I came across this: Haier Combo Wine and Beverage Center model Model #: HBCW100ABB at Sams Club. It looked perfect. Nice glass door, interior lighting, dual zone. It got good ratings on the Sams Club Website 3.5 out of 5 stars. I figured what could go wrong? It was DOA- came out of the box with the following problems:It did not cool either zone- at all- kind of defeats the purpose yes? The LCD temp display in each zone acted like it was from another planet - thinking it was 27 degrees at room temp. When I go to lower it, I can lower it all the way to 4 degrees F!? The range supported is not displayed at all on the little screens. Essentially this is just Chinese junk. The fun comes when I call the OEM (Big bold letters NOT TO RETURN). I call them after following all instructions in the book - do not turn on for at least 1 day, wait for it to cool down, so forth. They say they will send someone and to wait a few days. I called back today and was told - yeah sorry we are not sending anyone because no one local to you (DC area - 30miles outside of downtown) can work on it. They were going to process a refund that I MIGHT see in 30 days. That was it - no explanation and no results. What a joke. I processed a return on Samsclub.com and will return it tonight. I would buy nothing at all from this company. They are moving crap product fast and hoping to get around warranty and refund to make money. Steer clear!
After having a Splendide Washer Dryer in our last 5th Wheel, when we upgraded to our new RV we had the cabinet but without the washer dryer. Not wanting to spend over a thousand dollars again, we bought a Haier HWD 1600 used from a young couple who'd had it about 2 years. She loved it but with a growing family they were moving to a larger home and full size units. For $500 I thought it was a good deal, and it looked perfect like it was brand new. With a little work I installed it and we've been using it 8 or 9 months now. We're newly retired and in our RV full time. We absolutely LOVE our Haier! It did begin having trouble drying about a month ago. I noticed the top was warm when we'd cut it off - it would keep running because it knew the load wasn't dry - so I decided it wasn't able to blow the hot air down into the drum for some reason, so I ordered a new heater fan motor just in case, which was only $34 and came in just 2 days!
I have baked for many years. This year bought a new range. Just had it checked and was told that I had to turn my racks during baking. I have never had to do this before. I took a picture thinking that this could somehow be fixed if they could see the problem. The back corner of one side of oven is over-browning. They said that nothing could be done. I am supposed to turn racks. The technician showed me one small line in my paperwork that most would not see and surely don’t see until after you have purchased. The worst part is I have an extended warranty on a range that I consider to be sub-standard.
Unfortunately I did not purchase an in-store protection plan from Lowes. I have never purchased them before, since I have never had to use one. Anyway, after a pretty good hunting season, I needed a freezer in a hurry. For one, I had a pretty good 8 pt buck caped out and needed a second freezer to keep the future mount in and 2 more whitetail deer I had harvested, one being my fiances first doe ever taken. 1 day lacking two months to the day after the freezer purchase, I went to get some venison out and when I opened the freezer most everything was thawed out and spoiled. I still have not heard back from the taxidermist. I dont know if the caped out buck is salvageable or not, it was in the bottom of the chest, so it probably was a little cooler than a lot of the other freezer paper wrapped backstrap, ham steaks, and ground meat in Ziplock Freeezer bags, that had blood soaked through and accumulated in the bottom of the unit. Furiously I took it upon myself to drop the unit back off by the front door of the local Lowes store with the lid open so customers could see what this product was all about. In the meantime they disposed of it. It is the same old story, lousy products, as a consumer you have no recourse. You have to end up paying for a product you dont even have, or would not have again. Corporate America....outsourced overseas junk, and hard working folks, like me end up scr**** in the end. I struggle to make ends meet and try to live off of Gods awesome land as much as possible. AND NO I am not on one of these timber company or whomever elses get rich to lease the land to some sucker for $1000.00 per year!!!! Uncle Ted Nugent I hope you get to read this story of the waste of the best and most nutritious of all red meats The mouth watering North American White Tailed Deer. I have pictures of the inside of the freezer, the mountable buck, & her first deer harvest.
Bought Refrig with Freezer on top on Sept 5, 2014 model HT21TS80SP from Lowes. Looked like a great product, design, functionality & price. China company but designed, manufactured and assembled in USA. So I thought put Americans to work, buy American. JUNK, PURE JUNK!!! 89 days old, unit died on a Thursday, Haier warranty repair company only serves my town on Tuesdays. I lost everything in my frig/freezer. Repair Tech said, “KNOWN problem, bad switch.” He replaced 2 parts (Thermo & Timer) WHY was a recall not performed??? Now, 15 days later on Christmas Eve (Dec 24, 2014) it DIED AGAIN. I lost everything in it AGAIN!!!! with many people coming for the Holiday. I will call Repair Center this morning Dec 26 and wait for repair AGAIN, probably have to wait till next Tuesday. Word to everyone, HAIER is JUNK PURE JUNK. Save your mind and food and buy LG. LG is best product(s) on the market, you pay slightly more but they are great. HAIER should not be allowed to be sold in the USA or its territories. JUNK JUNK JUNK!!!!
NEVER BUY A HAIER PRODUCT! We purchased a Haier chest freezer from Sams Club. Without going into the delivery nightmares and false claims made by Sams Club, the freezer was delivered with a buckled lid. Haier refused to accept responsibility for replacing the lid and tried to blame it on the delivery. Sams Club agreed to send a new one, but the delivery and return were a worse nightmare than before. We had to hire a handyman at our own expense to help us. The replacement was delivered with the package undamaged. When opened, we found that it had been packaged at the factory with a cracked end cap on the lid. The lid was also installed crooked. We cant go through another nightmare return and this damage was clearly done at the factory. Even though the warranty states that it is warranted for defects in materials, Haier refused to fix it. We spoke to a supervisor and the same thing. I dont know what to do. Weve paid full price for a poorly constructed, damaged product and Haier refuses to accept responsibility. If you buy a Haier product, youd better pray that Haier Quality Control was paying attention that day because Haier is dishonest and irresponsible and takes no responsibility for their product. Still trying to decide what to do. Well probably just return it to Sams Club and buy a GE from Home Depot. Learn from my mistake. Stay away from these crooks.
I bought Haier Ac HSU-19C-TFW5 last month. I bought it for my parents. It generates very Less noise and gives highest cooling because its fan and compressor work on dual DC inverter technology. And it has a very wonderful feature of self clean, where AC cleans itself on just a push of a button. It gave us a sense of security that we don't require any service guy to come to our home in present pandemic scenario. I really love Haier Ac's performance and commitment to deliver what they claim. Wonderful product, I recommend to buy Haier AC.
This refrigerator came with the house my son bought. We had never heard of this brand of refrigerator. It is an excellent fridge! Keeps items really cold. In fact, we can put the cold setting too high or items inside the refrigerator will actually freeze! Not sure how old the fridge is. We have had it several years and it is as cold as the day we moved in to the house.
I bought this microwave as a gift for my daughter who has very limited kitchen counter space. The size is perfect. The style goes well with her stainless steel fridge. She has only used it for a month, but so far it's a very functional, good microwave considering its compact size.
I bought a refrigerator on March 31, 2013. 3 months later, it will not keep anything cold. I called Haier and they referred me to a repair company in Burr Ridge, IL. After the 3rd service call on August 7th, they were unable to fix due to a blockage in the line. Called Haier on August 9th. Still no answer to what Haier will do. I will NEVER EVER buy another Haier product. And no one should. And they need to hire people that can speak English!!!!
Observations: Ignition issues. All burners work properly without a flame height adjustment. Oven broiler ignites properly and functions well. Oven will not ignite using built-in igniter. Must remove oven bottom panel burner cover to light. Can hear the click of the igniter, do not see spark. To ignite must turn on gas to 300º setting. Igniter can be heard clicking. Can be ignited by holding lighter to jet area. Using the lighter the oven will light for about 5 seconds and then goes out. Must repeat. Usually takes at least 2 tries, if the lighter is not directed at the thermocouple nipple for approx. 30 seconds. Exterior heat issues. When the oven is on, the top surface gets extremely hot. E.G. warm to touch front of cooktop. From midline to rear of stove hotter than is comfortable to touch. Back vent area extremely hot. Question safety of that amount of heat and the wall surface 2” away. The oven door vents “blow” a significant draught of hot air. Not comfortable to use top surface with that amount of heat blowing in my face. The significant breeze is aggravating. This amount of hot air will NOT be acceptable if outside temperature exceeded 50º. It heats the entire kitchen.Oven temperature issues. I believe the oven temperature component is not functional! The manual that was included with the stove references the pre-heat light. There isn’t one! Setting the temperature to “min” results in internal temperatures 375 to 400º. Setting the temperature for 300º results in internal temperature of 375 to 400º. Setting the temperature to max (dial turns approximately same distance past the 450º setting as the increments of 50º in all other dial settings) results in internal temp of 450º. Setting the temperature to 350º results in internal temp of 425 to 450º. Using convection fan does not appear to impact the errant temperatures.General observations. This stove is unusually high. 36 3/8” BEFORE you put the legs on. The timer makes no sound when it completes a timed event. The “dirty gray” burner setting and oven control markings on the front panel are almost impossible to see against the black background. The front control panel is perpendicular to the floor, so to read settings requires bending to get a readable angle. Magnets hold very well on everything but the stovetop and oven handle. This is advertised as a stainless-steel stove.
