I really like LG products. Ive never had any bad experiences with them. They are dependable and reason I priced and Ive owned several appliances and electronics made by LG. Of course more room on the inside or make the best of the size with shelves and drawers is always good. I chose LG because of the color and the interior of the cooler part and of the freezer part and Ive been very satisfied. I am very pleased with my LG.
I have had this washer for 14 mos, am ready to take a hammer to it! Leaks all from under! Floor constantly wet, clothes are not clean and are wet when you put them in the dryer! HD offered me 100.00 to go towards another washer! Really! I just paid you 1800.00 for this set! Very upset and ready to cry because I cannot afford another washer! I will be glad to join a class action lawsuit against this company LG!!! I refuse to talk to a foreigner about my problem but will be glad to talk to my attorney!
LG double door refrigerator - I had bought this 2 years back and from last September There is a problem with the cooling... ice formation in deep freezer and no cooling in the lower fridge door. It has been an harassment of sorts... different mechanics and experiments and still the same problem continues. Its even worse as its unattended despite innumerable calls to the customer care and the local customer manager doesnt answer. Planning to boycott LG.

Purchased LG fridge couple years ago from Home Depot on clearance. Nice, big, spacious. The ice maker has a silly ice plus button to make more ice. First, the ice compartment is small so the ice plus button is really needed to be on all the time. Second, ice plus button turns off automatically. So if you use a lot ice dont buy one that has an ice plus button. LG should have an ice maker that does not need an ice plus button. Thirdly, the so called water filters you have to purchase from home depot are not oem filters. The OEM filters are high priced and need to be changed every three months to get the water to dispense like it did when it was new. I will not purchase another LG ice & water dispenser on a fridge. For future reference buy simple less headaches.

Hi, we bought a french door LG refrigerator 2 years back and started having problems with freezer from year 1. After many calls we had a good service rep and fixed the problem. He was the best. We didnt expect problems with the LG fridge this soon but glad service Rep took care of it.
We purchased an LG fridge in November. Soon we noticed water puddling on top of the freezer door (bottom freezer model). Then we noticed that the water was freezing on the outside of the ice maker bucket, and that the ice cubes were melting then freezing together. When we used a blowdryer to melt some of the ice so we could remove the ice bucket, the melted water ran out, not from the dispenser as we would expect, but from all the seams in the door. On February 9th, I sent in a repair request. The provider I was given (which took a couple of days to receive) was unprofessional and after giving my address, told me they had no availability in my area and to find someone else and hung up. On February 14th, I received two more service providers contact info. One of them never answered my repeated calls. The other one informed me that they only serviced a neighboring county. Around February 21, I received another service providers contact info, and a service appointment was set up for March 1, between 8 am and noon. I took the morning off work. When the technician had not arrived by 12:30, I called the service provider who said they would contact the technician and get back to me. I was called back in a few minutes and was told the technician was stuck in traffic and would be at my home by 1 pm. At 1:15, he had still not arrived and I called the service again. She said she would call him again and get back to me. This time when she called back, she said he did not answer his phone and she that she left him a voicemail. When he finally showed up, around 2:30, he said that he had been running a little behind. After looking at the ice maker, he told me this was a common problem with this model of fridge and we would need a whole new door, which might or might not fix the problem, and someone would be in touch with me within 24 hours to set up an installation date and time. Nine days later, I got the call and an appointment was scheduled for March 13th, again between 8 am and noon. Again, I took the morning off work. Again, the technician did not arrive till after 2 pm. He did install a new door, said we were all set and left. And now the ice maker does not work at all. So far, Ive missed two days work, dealt with 4 incompetent and unprofessional service providers authorized by LG. Ive read many reviews praising LG products, but frankly all the reviews for their customer service are very negative (wishing we had checked those out and not just the product reviews when we purchased the appliances in November).

When I decided to purchase this washer, I chose LG expecting to be dealing with one of the top corporations in electronics. What a disappointment! On trying to have it repaired - error message indicating the machine is not draining - I contacted you asking for a local authorized dealer. I was given the name of RISING SERVING SOLUTIONS whom I contacted and got an appointment for a WEEK LATER. So far, after 3 visits of their technician who changed the drain motor twice, the brain of the machine and having paid $390 for the repair, I continue to have the same exact problem. On my last conversation with the technician he alleged that the problem is with the drain hose/pipe.Although Im not knowledgeable on the subject this explanation makes no sense, since the machine drains water properly on the wash and rinse cycles, presenting the problem only on the spin going on to dry cycle. Calling twice and speaking to your supervisors at customer service led nowhere. What to do next?
Lg really needs to improve quality. I have experienced only junk coming from LG. Lg stove, broken after 3 years of use. Should not need a $300 gas valve And an ignitor $100, already! I am a service tech. Lg microwave exhaust fan does not reach 400 cfm (needed for gas stove) and goes slower when microwave is turned on. Junk! Air flow meter only reads up to 260 cfm with a transition to direct airflow through meter. Refrigerator, you have to open both doors to open crisper drawers.Very poor design! How about someone actually try to clean this fridge...what a joke! Takes almost a day to break down fridge to clean. Fire that designer, probably couldn‚€ôt design a way out of a paper bag. Lg ductless split ac. Again just junk! Poor design. I will be sharing my experiences with the garbage your company is putting out. Not a happy lg user, Richard. Lg gas stove, lg fridge, lg microwave exhaust and experienced lg ductless split. JUST DON‚€ôT BUY LG! Parts are waaay too expensive! Also not readily available! Too many issue in design to mention for fridge. Gas stove is very poorly designed. Very cheap. These products just feel CHEAP! And they are cheap, cheap, cheap products! If you want quality, buy a better brand! Lg = like garbage!
Worst and Cheating Service from LG. Issue Started from Deepavali. I had complained regarding TV service before 40 to 50 days but still, the status is the same.My TV Model No. LG-LED/42LA6620 got a problem as the TV was not turning ON, regarding this I had complained and an executive told that they will come and diagnose the issue. After couple of days, he came and saw that there is a problem in it and told he will return in a couple of days and went. But later he did not return at all. He did not even receive our calls and we were in search of help, but nothing happened. Later I called to customer care and you people told that it will be done on chargeable basis. Even visiting charges should be beared by the customer. I agreed for that and requested for the executive at my place. And you people struggled a lot to arrange a person to my place but you people failed to do that.But we are the person who is suffering and ultimately our situation is like Wait or Go and as we got an expensive TV from you and fortunately or unfortunately I have got all LG brands in my house (TV, FRIDGE, WASHING MACHINE etc.,) and I am a promoter for LG product. But now am just afraid that how about future of the products I got. How the support and services for these products, am panicked. And after struggling a lot we didnt get any help from LG but we at the receiver end have to get our TV repaired and took that TV personally and went to the other city that is Hospet from Gangavathi for getting it serviced. After submitting that TV they told that it has to be diagnose and it will take a couple of days and we left our TV there and returned. After couple of days, they told that there is a motherboard issue and it will charge you around 7k to 9k.I told them to go ahead and service it. I want the TV to be Fixed. But trust me I have doubt on those technicians over there, I am having an impression that I am in safe hands or someone trying to loot us. But still, I told them to go ahead and service it. Later after a couple of days, I get a call saying that it will take a month to replace it. I told, Okay. Fix it as soon as possible. And later I get one more story that, We need bill sir as this motherboard is not available as of now, if you provide bill then we will look for depreciation and you can go for another model. Now am really frustrated and just cant control myself for simple issue, I am okay with taking TV personally to the service center, I am okay with replacing a motherboard, I am okay with money, I am okay with time. Now its a new phase. They are asking me to go for depreciation.But I managed my self to get the bill and submitted to them but until today am in the same situation and TV is in the same condition. Today 23/12/2017 morning when I called to the customer care, I get these type of responses ie., Sir you need to visit the dealer where you have submitted your TV, and, We cant help you in this, what the hell is this response from LG customer care, I made him realise that he is working for LG then he told that he will arrange call back. Later I called once again and narrated all the story to that lady, she told she will arrange a call back. Thank God that I got a call from LG but now they started with new story which clearly shows that they are cheating openly to the people.When I called in the morning and asked regarding the status of my TV, LG customer care people they told part is not available so it will take some more time. But after an hour I get a call saying that sir your LCD has problem as we are testing on your TV but there is problem in display. Now here we can see clearly, that from main office they are saying part is pending, and from Hospet dealer they are telling that, Sir motherboard we received and testing on it but there is a problem in LCD and it will be fixed with a charge of Rs: 24,000/- extra. If they tell us that its going to cost you more in which we can go for other options by dropping the idea of getting this tv repaired.This is so cheap activity done by you people to grab money or to drop the issue. If you people really need money/dont want to support then try to get it by earning with trust but not by cheating the innocent people, its our hard-earned money we spend on buy expensive gadgets by trusting giant companies. Now I am requesting you again to the experienced/some qualified engineer to look into the issue and solve it. Really LG is stepping back from giving services. Its really gonna affect the brand. I was promoter for the company but you people are making me to go for worst condition... If this is condition for few more customers then soon it is gonna be in helpless situation. I dont know what kind of engineers LG is hiring not capable to repair a simple issue then what for they hire a so-called qualified developers.

Dijo que no estaba cualificado ni capacitado para trabajar en el frigor√≠fico. 90 minutos m√°s tarde, dijo que a las 7:29:21 hab√≠an reprogramado la orden de trabajo. Nadie llam√≥ o lleg√≥ de Aandamp;E en esa fecha. El 2 de agosto, Aandamp;E me env√≠a un mensaje de texto diciendo que ahora es el 10 de agosto. Hoy... 17 de agosto nadie lleg√≥, nadie llam√≥... dos d√≠as tomando el d√≠a libre en el trabajo y se perdi√≥ dos veces por Aandamp;E no aparecer... As√≠ que un refrigerador de $ 3700 que ha sido roto desde principios de julio se encuentra en nuestra cocina sin ninguna se√Īal de que ser√° reparado, reemplazado, o de trabajo en cualquier momento.
LG is a very reliable refrigerator. One of the best parts about it is I know more people that have plenty of experience on working on an LG if I ever have a problem.
I sure wish I came here before purchasing my LG LFXS29626 refrigerator... As has been noted, a little over 2 years (gee, theres a 2 year warranty... hmmm), the fridge died. puddles on the floor, which I thought might be from the water filter, began forming... Before I realized it wasnt cooling, $500 worth of food had to be tossed into the trash... 1 week later, a service guy fixed it (replaced the compressor, added coolant)... it now rattles, and it isnt cooling... they are coming back again on Weds (5 days from now) to try to fix it again... I dont have much faith. One thing I will say... CALL LG. They covered the labor and the part, despite being past the 2 years. Dont let them tell you theyll cover the part but not the service, as this problem is PREVALENT, and they are (Im sure) just trying to avoid a class action lawsuit at this point.
As most of you know, I do not use social media as a living diary to post what I‚€ôm feeling, what I‚€ôm wearing or what we‚€ôre having for dinner tonight. However, today I am going to make an exception and share my story about why you shouldn‚€ôt buy an LG refrigerator as I head into week three without one as I continue to work with LG support.Let me start by saying, you can‚€ôt make this stuff up. The morning of Monday, May 18th started as any other Monday. I woke up at 5:30, turned on my computer, started my coffee, put the dogs out and reached into the refrigerator to get my cream. Imagine my surprise when I realized my 16 month old refrigerator [LFXS30766S] and freezer were warm. I‚€ôve bulleted a the rest of this story to make it read faster for those of you who care to. ‚€Ę Called LG support, who deduced that it was probably the compressor and issued a service ticket [**] for 5/19 between 8-5 am EDT. [At no time does he mention that they have a known problem with their compressors which is why they have extended their one year parts and labor warranty into a five year warranty.] o I was thrilled to receive a call around lunchtime from the service company [J.O.A. ELECTRONICS] who told me he could come that same afternoon [5/18] to look at the refrigerator. o J.O.A. comes at 3 pm EDT, runs diagnostic, confirms it was the compressor, charges me $50 and starts to leave. I ask him how long it will take the part to come in.o J.O.A. then tells me LG will order compressor and fix the refrigerator that he can‚€ôt do it. [Are you freaking kidding me?] ‚€Ę Called LG support back and talked to a new service rep who told me: o J.O.A. Electronics shouldn‚€ôt have charged me $50 as my refrigerator was still under warranty and he should order the part so he can come back and fix it. o She then supplies ME with their contact info and tells ME I need to: Ôāß Call them and tell them they have to return my check. [as they shouldn‚€ôt have charged me]Ôāß Confirm that they can order the part and fix the refrigerator. [Isn‚€ôt this why she‚€ôs getting paid?] ‚€Ę So at this point my husband gets home from work and calls J.O.A: o who refuses to return or destroy our check, causing us to call our bank and issue a stop payment [$30].o who also tells Steve that his job was to do a diagnostic, not order the part or fix the refrigerator just do a diagnostic. [seriously, this is who my service ticket from LG went to? What happened to a certified tech or company‚€¶] ‚€Ę Called LG support back [for those counting, this is call three on 5/18], and talk to another service rep who: o Listens to my tale. o Puts me on hold to talk to management; and then gets back on the phone to tell me, she can: Ôāß schedule an appointment [**] with Jude an LG certified technician, for 5/26 between 8-12 EDT [because Monday, 5/25 was Memorial Day] NOTE: that‚€ôs a week without a refrigerator DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, OVER THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND AND AFTER DOING A MONTH‚€ôS WORTH OF FOOD SHOPPING.o After slightly losing my **, let‚€ôs be honest folks, for all of those of you who know me, patience is not my strongest strength, I tell her fine and graciously accept the appointment with Jude the Savior for over a week away. We make due for the next week without a refrigerator [shopping daily/borrowing refrigerator space from friends]. Again, you can‚€ôt make this ** up. ‚€Ę So, joyous day, 5/26 arrives: o Jude [the long awaited LG certified tech] calls to tell me he‚€ôs running late and will be at our house closer to 1:30/2:00. o In the meantime, our address update from my calls a week earlier take effect and our town is updated. [they had the correct street address but the wrong city]o I immediately get a call from Jude, the LG certified tech and savior, who I have waited a week to come fix my refrigerator, who tells me our town isn‚€ôt in his territory so he won‚€ôt be coming because it‚€ôs too far. He cancels my RNN ticket. [We live 15 minutes from the wrong town in the ticket.] ‚€Ę Pissed off [major understatement], I called LG support, tell the service rep I want to speak to a supervisor, get put through to another minion, tell my story, AGAIN, including the J.O.A. mess, tells me he can get us serviced the next day [you see there‚€ôs no way we can get same day service because of COVID-19 and such ‚€ď really, there‚€ôs a pandemic in play, this is news to me], 5/27, new ticket issued [**]. [We wait with baited breath to find out who is going to be coming to fix our refrigerator.] o I get a text telling me a service ticket has been issued and I will be contacted once a service center has confirmed.o J.O.A. ELECTRONICS accepts my ticket is confirmed as our service company. [again, you can‚€ôt make this ** up] ‚€Ę We call back LG support, express our frustration and concerns about J.O.A. being assigned the ticket and again tell him the story about J.O.A. an the incident that happened back on May 18th. o While we‚€ôre on hold, the service rep calls J.O.A. himself. [props Arnell as it was more than Diane did for us on 5/18] Ôāß They assure him they can do the job and they will call us to set up an appt.o We wait. [NO CALL. NO APPT SET UP.]‚€Ę The morning of 5/27, I literally get woken up by a text from LG that says they are still looking for a provider to come as quickly as possible. I will be notified when an appt is confirmed.‚€Ę I send an email complaint to the office of the president because he wants to be connected to his customers (5/27), outlining our dilemma and the challenge we‚€ôve had getting service for our refrigerator. [Again, it‚€ôs only 16 months old]‚€Ę 5/27, call LG support (again), to be disconnected (again), but this time Service Representative calls me back. We now have a case ticket (vs a repair ticket [CNN vs an RNN]) which will take 3-5 days to be reviewed before hearing back from LG. [AT WHAT POINT IS LIFE GOOD WITH LG because I‚€ôve missed the GOOD LIFE EXPERIENCE!]‚€Ę 5/29, receive a standard letter from an executive advisor in response to my letter to the president thanking me for my letter, telling me that my case is in review and let her know if there was any immediate needs that she could help me with‚€¶SERIOUSLY, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? IMMEDIATE NEED. HOW ABOUT A REFRIGERATOR THAT WORKS!!!The worst part is we are out hundreds of dollars in food, the returned check fee, a couple of vacation days and I still do not have a working REFRIGERATOR. At this point, I just want my money back so I can buy a refrigerator that works and will work 10 years from now. Again, our compressor didn‚€ôt even make it 24 months. So if you‚€ôre in need of a refrigerator, do not buy the hype ‚€ď LIFE IS NOT GOOD WITH LG. Buy a Samsung, GE, Kenmore, or another brand. Life is not Good.
The refrigerator had touch screen features, good temperature functions, and enough room for all my groceries. The height and width was good, as well as the space it took up. I would improve the amount of time the warranty lasts and probably more cost effective. The cost is pretty high for some of the products, however, I enjoy the appliance. I chose this brand because its a well known brand and everything works well as expected. Im a fan of other products from LG and they work great. Great purchase and easy to use.
Stay away. Two years ago I bought an LG french door fridge. A week after we had it ice started to build up on the walls. We had someone out to repair it. Now it barely makes any ice. The other day it stopped cooling and we lost all our food. When we called LG they were very rude to us and did not want to help us. Now I have to buy a new one. I certainly will not buy another LG.
Me hicieron creer que mi nuevo horno LG Easy Clean era lo mismo que la autolimpieza. Es absolutamente horrible. La limpieza f√°cil ni siquiera empieza a limpiar el horno. Estoy muy disgustada. Ahora estoy atascado con esta horrible gama.
Este microondas se incendi√≥ mientras cocinaba verduras al vapor. O√≠mos un chasquido y a continuaci√≥n todo el espacio interior estall√≥ en llamas. (3) Necesito llamar a la oficina de la casa para hablar con el t√©cnico de dentro.Hizo la llamada mientras est√°bamos all√≠ y un t√©cnico en el tel√©fono le pidi√≥ que enviara un video desde su tel√©fono con las instrucciones del t√©cnico en el tel√©fono. Una vez completado, colg√≥ y dijo que esta unidad est√° frita y necesita ser reemplazada, pero que dos t√©cnicos de la oficina central ten√≠an que revisarla. Diez minutos m√°s tarde me llamaron diciendo que era un error del cliente debido a un incendio de grasa y que no iban a reparar o reemplazar. Despu√©s de enviarles el recibo de la tienda les ped√≠ la denegaci√≥n y la raz√≥n por escrito, que se negaron rotundamente a darme. Al d√≠a siguiente me enviaron un correo electr√≥nico para decirme que hab√≠an establecido una revisi√≥n de la autorizaci√≥n de devoluci√≥n y que deber√≠a tener noticias suyas en un plazo de 2 a 3 d√≠as laborables. Fui a la tienda donde compr√© el microondas LG, les di mis notas y ped√≠ ayuda. Una vez revisado por la tienda y visto lo que LG me estaba haciendo pasar me dijeron que me cambiar√≠an la unidad. ¬ŅComprar√≠as otro producto LG despu√©s de haber le√≠do este atropello? Yo no lo har√≠a, pero sin duda volver√© a comprar en Best Buy, ya que respaldan un producto que el fabricante, LG en este caso, no har√≠a.
He le√≠do varios comentarios con respecto a este asunto, y son correctos. LG tiene que corregir este asunto. Well, Im thoroughly disappointed with my Tromm washer and dryer. The latest failure was the last straw. I have now officially paid more for repairs than I paid for the appliances, and they have been banished to the garage, and hopefully Ill find a buyer, but the word must be out about LG, because Ive had no takers. The washer never has cleaned well, and took forever to do that. The technician said to get a top-load domestic brand, so I went to Lowes and purchased the largest top loader with a spindle that GE makes.Im through with LG, and the repairman said Samsung is no better. So, I guess you could say Im through with Korean products. Thank you very much Korea. Isnt it hysterical that the pendulum has finally swung back towards American products being more reliable and well-built? The way it used to be when I was growing up. Heres the really ironic part. When I bought the Tromm, I sold a Kenmore Series 80 pair to a friend for $100.00. She is still using them and has never had to have a repair. I want them back! I guess the joke is on me, but you know what they say: Fool me once...
I do not normally write bad reviews, however; with the amount of money I spent on my LG Probake series range/oven, I am very disappointed. Model # LRE4213ST. As others have written, you barely bump or lean up against the knobs on the front and they turn on. Even the dog can turn them on. We have truly returned home to find the burner red hot, luckily, we keep it cleared off, but we just bought a home and remodeled and I really don‚€ôt want the house to burn down. I have had to go through 2 sets of childproof knob protectors to help prevent this.
Ive had numerous problems with my LG Washer TROMM WM2688. There is bellows hose underneath the tub that gets a hole in it and leaks every few months. It takes about an hour and a half to fix it. I‚€ôm on my 5th bellows hose now. It just went out again. Ive also had the water fill valve get stuck on and stay on. I had to replace it. It also has a problem with draining the water from the tub. I get an error saying water is not draining. You hit restart from the pause and it will continue. It could be the pump out, the sensor out, or the control board out. Not sure yet. If I couldn‚€ôt work on it myself, I would have spent enough on service to buy a new one. It wouldn‚€ôt be an LG. I‚€ôll buy no LG products.
I like so many others, purchased my French Door LG refrigerator on 11/13/2015. Almost four weeks ago I walked into the kitchen and discovered a puddle of water on the floor. Called a local repair service and they came over and said it was the board. They ordered a new one, which took two weeks to get. Installed it and guess what, that wasnt the problem. Its the compressor! I has to call a certified LG repair service and they have ordered the new part, said it will take 7-10 days to get. So hopefully by the end of next week it will arrive.In the meantime after reading all of these complaints I have called NBC News Better Get Bacquero and am also filing a complaint with the District Attorney in NYS. I suggest that everyone who has these issues (there seem to be over 1900 of us) do the same thing. By the way, if you check out the complaints re: the Kenmore refrigerators also made by LG there are a total of over 4000 complaints. Something needs to be done!!
I purchased this refrigerator, model LFD22860ST, from Sears in Feb. 2007. Two weeks ago, I smelled an electrical type smell that woke me up in the middle of the night. The light bulbs had been burning while the doors were shut. The wiring was burnt. The light cover was burned and melted off and was laying on top of food. The top of the liner had begun to melt as well. I managed to get one bulb out. The other bulb burned out. One of the plastic tabs in the upper inside corners of the french doors (the part that is supposed to keep the door firmly closed) broke off. And the bracket deep inside that you screw the tab into has broken out as well. So, there is no way to anchor/screw a new tab in even if I wanted to. Its the door with the controls and water in it, so its a challenge to make sure it is not coming open by itself. The plastic piece that runs across the lower inside, that holds the crisper bins in, has broken in the middle. So, every time you pull/push the bins back in, you have to struggle with that as well. The ice maker overfills. And when you open the bottom freezer door, ice cubes come tumbling out all over the floor. With that, Im constantly turning the ice maker either on or off. Ive noticed that LG has discontinued this model. Was it discontinued because of these problems? I paid an awful lot of money for this designer, stainless steel, french door refrigerator. I really expected it to last more than 4 years!
Machine sounded as if it was gearing up for take off. LG ran a smart diagnosis over the phone and said everything was normal. I then ran a spin cycle and had the service tech listen over the phone and he said No way was that sound normal. As we live farther than 20 miles from an authorized repair service, our case had to be evaluated for repair or replacement. They replaced it and it sounds much different and improved. With the new machine, the liquid HE soap is not totally dispensing leaving gummy residue in the tray. The manual is not very clear on how much to use for what size load. I was told to use 1 Tablespoon for medium and 2 Tablespoons for bulky loads and that a small amount of water remaining after the load finishes is normal and to wipe it out of the dispenser trays after each load. Definitely not user friendly.

Brought a brand new refrigerator on March 2018, no issues until January 2019. The refrigerator suddenly not cool enough until my food defrost. Called the customer service many times come to fix it but always no show and keep telling me reschedule because of too many case. I was lost count how many time waiting for the technician come to fix my refrigerator. My family and me still suffering with this issue almost 2 months but they even didnt send anyone come to check the refrigerator. The worst things I facing is talk to technician. They very rude when I ask them why no show. My opinion - bad quality, bad after sales service, and not worth for money!
Bought this $2600 fridge (LG LMXS30776S) in 2015. A week ago, noticed frozen fruit was soft enough to crunch. Took temperature of fridge and freezer compartments. Fridge: 49 deg F, Freezer 33 deg F. Compressor running non-stop. Pulled covers on evaps, partial frosting. No error codes. Got a replacement fridge off Craigslist that weekend. Plugged LG fridge back in, compressor comes on, but there is no cooling now. Indicates leak in sealed system. No error codes anywhere. Called local appliance shop -- $700 and it could take a month. Complained to LG on Facebook, they responded that they have a tech that could fix it total/flat rate of $375. Unbelievable. Pretty sure what happens with the compressor failure is that the refrigerant leaks out and the compressor keeps running harder and longer until it burns out. Cant believe that there arent any sensors to at least shut it off before burning out. Wont ever buy anything LG again.

Purchased LG French door refrigerator 17 months ago. Stopped cooling three weeks ago and finally repairman came today. Compressor is shot. Could take another three weeks before it is repaired. I have been without a refrigerator for three weeks now. Based on other reviews I can expect the compressor to go out again within 12 to 18 months because LG refrigerators are poorly made but they have a high price tag. I am now stuck with this piece of junk.
I found this site while researching LG FL washers. I have had an LG WM2010CW washer for years now. I went through the mold issue and solved it with common sense. Im not disparaging anyone here with mold issues but these suggestions fixed my issue which was minor in comparison.Clean out the filter at the bottom of the machine; then run a clean cycle with a cup of vinegar. Pour it into the dispenser for detergent, not the bleach dispenser. When the cycle is done, re-clean the filter and wipe out interior with vinegar. Get out the goop manually. Remove the dispenser drawer and wipe out the entire compartment with vinegar. Allow to air dry overnight leaving out the drawer. Replace the drawer and run a rinse to remove the vinegar. Quit using fabric softener or dryer sheets and switch to an unscented powder detergent. You need to be able to smell the machine. Use 2 tbsp. per load for moderate water, 1 if your water is soft. Adjust up or down as needed from there. Fill the softener compartment with white vinegar. Run an extra rinse on every load to work on the buildup. If you are using scented detergent and its still strong-smelling after the cycle, it isnt rinsing out. To monitor rinsing, add a gallon of water through dispenser drawer during rinse cycle, or more if needed, to see water. If detergent isnt rinsing out, either the oil or dirt is in your clothes. Do this for a month or so as every load of clothes will be reintroducing mold to your machine. Fabric softener is made from animal fat and will get rancid and breed mold. It also leaves fatty, greasy residue on your clothes that detergent must cut through. Detergents are alkaline so the mold in your washer needs that environment. The vinegar is a mild acid. Once your washer is back to normal and you have detergent dosage worked out, use a max of a tbsp. of softener or mix softener (50/50) with vinegar. The clean cycle on your washer is for maintenance. It isnt designed to eradicate a major problem. It took awhile for the machine to get in such bad shape and it will take time to fix it.
I have a LG washer, model WT1101CW, and it keeps getting unbalanced during the spin cycle. Extremely frustrating! The true balance software detector seems to be way too sensitive.

I have been looking for a new refrigerator/freezer unit for some time in anticipation in placing it in our new house. This unit fulfills all of our needs, it allows my wife to look in the freezer and look at everything at a glance instead of searching like she had to in our old one. The refrigerator portion is much more spacious and we have yet to fill it up yet. What I like is the ice and water dispenser on the outside of the unit, it is able to take my water bottles with room to spare instead of angling them in and getting ice and water all over the place.
Microwave had a fire in the fan/exhaust area and spread to the cabinets. It could have spread, had I not turned off the breaker. The wiring to the wall had not electrical issues. The fire clearly started from within the microwave. MODEL# LMV1813SW.
We purchased an LG French door stainless refrigerator in September of 2016 (did not take delivery until mid October). On September 19, 2018 we woke up to a defrosting freezer and non-functioning refrigerator, in under two full years of use. LG customer service told me the part is covered under the sealed system warranty, but labor is not. They offered to cover labor ‚€úas a courtesy,‚€Ě but they did not have a technician available. They gave me the phone number of an authorized repair center and an ‚€úAPN‚€Ě number, but when I called I was told they are not currently taking repairs for LG because they have a 3 WEEK backlog.I called LG back and they gave me the only 3 other authorized repair centers in the state of Colorado. Two don‚€ôt actually work on refrigerators and the third offered to come out in a week. Took the appointment but called LG back and was told I could call try to find someone to fix it sooner, but they would only cover labor through their providers. When I told them I can‚€ôt afford refrigerator repair on a product I bought in good faith that has failed in under two years, I was told ‚€úthat‚€ôs not on LG.‚€ĚI kept the appointment, sat home all day yesterday (9/25/18) waiting for my 1-3PM repair window, expecting a working fridge by dinner time. At 3:30 the provider arrived, looked at the fridge, said ‚€úyep, your compressor is shot. It‚€ôll take 3 days to get the part, then we‚€ôll get you on the schedule for repair. Just understand we‚€ôre very busy and seeing a ton of these, so we‚€ôre trying to get at least one repaired daily.‚€Ě So I have no idea how long it‚€ôs going to take. My family of 7 is living out of a dorm sized (Whirlpool) fridge. I‚€ôm going to the store up to 3 times a day to get food I can make immediately and a half gallon of milk at a time for my 5 kids. We bought an entire kitchen suite of LG appliances at the same time and are now terrified they‚€ôre all going to fail and it won‚€ôt be ‚€úon LG.‚€Ě As I‚€ôm sharing with friends, at least 3 have had the same issue, one within the month and her fridge was newer than mine.
My LG washing machines turbo drums sensor is fixed to holding the door of the machine. Since it is in frequent use, the sensor gets damaged and rusted due to frequent water contact. In the last two years, I have changed the sensor twice. This is the biggest fault that your machine has. Because of this, we will not prefer LG machine in the future. Please change the place of fixing the sensor in LG washing machines.
The fridge was only 8-month-old when the dispenser stopped working and the ice maker started making noise. Initial call to LG was okay. Then the headache began. It took them 5 weeks to get someone to replace the part and every time I called, I got someone from India (clearly with an accent). Then no supervisor. Horrible service. First LG appliance I bought and the last for sure.

We replaced older but well-functioning washer and dryer with the upright LG. We were told by the salespersons that this was the best although expensive system. The research we read also led us to believe we were making a great investment. Wrong! The smell and mold that builds up is unbearable. Our room downstairs smells moldy ever since we began using our machine. The washer shakes horribly. We also had an LG serviceman come twice. We paid for his time, travel and service to adjust the legs of the machine. It still shakes and now leaks. Of course, this all started happening once the year warranty expired.When I contacted the LG company directly about the problems, I was directed to use the LG service repair. Beyond disappointed and frustrated. We are worried about the negative impact we may experience with our health with the constant mold that continues to plague the machine. After reading all the logs, something needs to be done about this problem! LG WM2233HW.
We are an LG household. Washer, dryer, and refrigerators. Our main kitchen refrigerator, a 2016 model, stopped working in July 2019. First failure. LG send out their authorized repair technician who came and changed the compressor. It worked for about 2 weeks and died. That was the second failure. LG sent out another technician who said the previous technician had done an incomplete repair, he said he completed it, and left. The refrigerator worked for a few more days, then died again.That was the third failure. The fridge has now been non-functional for over a week, and the repairman is not scheduled to come for another week. It is not good to send repairmen who are unable to perform a satisfactory repair the first time around, not to speak of the extreme inconvenience of losing three refrigerators worth of food (from three failures in the span of a month). Looking back, I would have much preferred a replacement machine after the first machine failed, or a refund after the second failure. We are now on the third failure and not thinking good thoughts of the LG refrigerator company.
LG refrigerator model LSFD2591ST - Purchased in November of 2013 for $4,500.00. Motherboard failed February 2015. We lost all of our item in both the freezer and the fridge. Absolutely no help from LG as they instructed us that the 12 month warranty had expired. We had the board replaced. Restocked our freezer and fridge only to have the compressor fail two days later. Again lost everything that we had. We went the rest of the month living out of coolers. Today 7-17-15 I get a call from my wife that the fridge is not cooling again! 5 months! Really! I called LG directly and they have instructed me that they will cover the compressor as it is still under warranty but the labor is my responsibility. I will NEVER buy another single thing from LG. JUNK... JUNK... JUNK!

Bought a new LG fridge in November 2017 from Home Depot (delivered Feb 18). Fridge was finally installed by my general contractor in January 2019 after kitchen renovation. Almost immediately, the fridge started to make a loud buzzing type noise. The noise is unbearable and can be heard in the other room while watching TV (to the point of needing to raise the TV volume), as well as when we are upstairs. The noise is non-stop and continues even when the fridge door is open. I called LG and they said that the compressor was defective as they are designed to shut off when the door was open. However, they said that the warranty is only for a year after original purchase (even though its been installed less than a year), and I would need to contact a repairman to have them come fix it, and they would not cover the cost of the repairman. I am now getting quotes to fix it for a few hundred dollars, which at that point I should just get a new fridge despite my fridge being used only 6 months. I will never again buy an LG product.
My LG French door side by side icemaker has quit several times. We have turned it off for a few days and turned it back on. Sometimes, it works again for a week or two then it quits making ice. It will still distill water but no ice. I paid a lot of money for this fridge and now I see a lot of icemaker problems. They should recall their products. We are still paying for this from Home Depot. Also, water filters cost $50 and are only available from selected stores!
When I purchased my refrigerator 7 1/2 years ago there was no warning that it was about to be discontinued. Now I need a part for it or its an anchor for a rather large size boat. I have no respect for a company that dont carry parts for their products past 7 years. Who would have thought that you are supposed to consider making a nearly $2,500 purchase of an appliance as a throw-a-way.

La lavadora cuenta con grandes caracter√≠sticas para satisfacer todas las necesidades de lavado. No podr√≠a estar m√°s contento con esta marca de lavadora.
My LG fridge has space for all items to fit properly and in an orderly fashion! The fruits and vegetables in its space and meat and milk and juice in its space. You can turn ice maker off if it makes too much ice or you can empty it and start from the beginning to make ice!
No se puede pedir m√°s. El panel de control es f√°cil de entender y utilizar. La cantidad de ropa que lava es enorme comparada con la que ten√≠a antes. Ten√≠a una lavadora de carga frontal Bosch y s√≥lo lavaba la mitad de la cantidad de ropa y a√ļn as√≠ no limpiaba bien. No me di cuenta de la falta de limpieza de mi ropa hasta que us√© la LG. La secadora a juego es s√ļper eficiente √©l ropa m√°s r√°pido y con menos arrugas. Nunca hab√≠a utilizado productos LG. Me alegro de haberlo hecho. Ahora que me voy a mudar a otra casa, estoy mirando a LG para todas mis necesidades de electrodom√©sticos de cocina y me voy a llevar mi lavadora y secadora.
El compresor de nuestro frigor√≠fico dej√≥ de funcionar hace algo m√°s de 3 semanas. He llamado numerosas veces a LG para intentar obtener una respuesta para ver si lo arreglan. Todav√≠a est√° en garant√≠a. Debido a Covid-19, no pueden encontrar a ninguna persona de servicio en mi zona. La √ļltima persona con la que habl√© por tel√©fono me dijo que como no tengo el recibo de compra no pueden hacer nada por m√≠. Este frigor√≠fico se compr√≥ hace m√°s de 9 a√Īos. Y me dijo bueno lo que sea como si no le importara escuchar mi versi√≥n. Sigui√≥ hablando por encima de m√≠ y tambi√©n de mi mujer que intentaba explicarse. Lo que realmente nos molest√≥ a ambos fue la falta de profesionalidad y el hecho de que he tenido que contactar con lg cada vez para obtener una respuesta. Se prometi√≥ un correo electr√≥nico la semana pasada y. ¬°¬°¬°¬°No fue hasta hoy lunes 11 de mayo de 2020 que se envi√≥ el correo electr√≥nico despu√©s de que la persona con la que habl√© me dijera que lo enviar√≠an!!!! B√°sicamente no recomiendo ning√ļn producto de lg a nadie. El servicio de atenci√≥n al cliente se encuentra en Filipinas, no hay nada malo en ello pero es como si no les importara porque no est√°n aqu√≠ atendiendo nuestros problemas. Experiencia muy decepcionante para nosotros.
First time for French door and I am a huge fan. It has door-in-door-feature, freezer on bottom and stainless, outside ice/Water in door, and plenty of room inside. I adore this fridge and will never buy a different one again! LG is amazing brand.
LG Microwave Model # LMH2016St Serial # 212 AQP3 X244 purchased on 2/13/2013 from HHGregg costing $338.99 with installation costing $149.99 plus taxes at $16.95 has blown a fan and melted the cover on the fan. It seems to me that a microwave that cost that much should last longer than 2 and 1/2 years. I would not recommend an LG product from my experience. The company offers no help at all in regards to this problem.
He tenido varias lavadoras LG y siempre me han gustado. Son fiables, duran una eternidad y pueden manejar muchos tipos de cargas en ella, desde art√≠culos pesados, ropa de cama o delicados. El √ļnico problema que tengo ahora con la m√≠a es que a veces no se puede equilibrar sola. Entonces tengo que hacerlo yo mismo.
I have been fighting with LG over this French Door refrigerator with its freezer drawer glides breaking three times in three years. Yesterday, the drawer fell completely to pieces and now my icemaker is not working consistently. Ice is building up inside the walls (has been for two years). The freezer doesnt freeze. The list goes on and on. Not only have I been forced to purchase the defective parts three times, the parts are not in stock. If there is no recall or problem with the part, why the shortage? I have gotten nowhere with LG including the supervisors. I believe there is cause for a class action suit to be brought against them over this as there are many others having the same issues. Yet, LG refuses to make good on their product. Today alone, I have found no less than 1,000 others who are also having these same issues. That was with just one Google search. I am certain this product is a manufacturer defective product and needs to be removed from the market. I will never own another LG product again nor purchase another item from Best Buy.
Couldnt agree with James of Dover, DE more. Good stuff, James. Didnt think Id ever be laughing so hard about my Awful LG washer. From the day it arrived, it has controlled, taunted and frustrated me to no end. One load cycle averages about 24 hours and three check ins on my part. Considering a washboard as a replacement, to save time, effort and aggravation. And frankly, the matching dryer isnt much better as it almost invariably dries clothes down to damp, at which point I have to start it again to wring out the last ten minutes of time needed to get to dry. Stingy machines with no redeeming qualities. Steer clear.
Our fridge is 4 years old and the sealed system compressor failed. The unit had a 7 year warranty and it turned out that LG now covered labor as well because of the frequent failures. The customer service at LG barely speak English and are clueless. After bouncing us to and fro with Lowes (who sold us a warranty with the fridge) it turned out their recommended service did not have any support staff in Arizona. We have been without the refrigerator for over 2 weeks right through Thanksgiving. It took us hours on the phone to get anywhere but finally we have a repair company but LG even let them down by being late delivering the parts - from Phoenix to Tucson!!! Take our advice dont buy an LG and get you refrigerator from a local supplier who can service it (not from Lowes).

My LG fridge is almost 3 years old. It broke down, makes horrible noises. I paid someone to fix it, that LG sent and it broke again a week later. Life is good but LG products are ** garbage. Do not buy these products. Terrible company.
Bought an LG French door refrigerator in June of 2016 and by May 2019 the refrigerator stopped keeping cool or frozen. Was never warned about the huge problems that the linear compressors have and that LG refrigerators only lasting 36 months. After spending 1400.00 and having it last not even 3 yrs is ridiculous!!! Nobody would even come to fix it because it would cost more than its worth we were told and would continue to be defective. So out of alot of money with bad LG product and had to purchase new one but never again will buy LG.... went with GE....
LG was given to us as a gift when we bought our house. I like the drawers on the inside. They had to come out when it didnt cool or freeze, but everything is working okay since then. It just took forever for someone to finally come to our house, and then it took forever for them to get the part in, and it took them forever to come back again ‚€ėcause I went almost a month without a refrigerator.
LG French Door Refrigerator LFX31925ST - Lifes not Good - Lucky Goldstar. I purchased an LG French Door Refrigerator LFX31925ST in Oct 2014. Immediately after it was delivered, the control board had to be replaced (under warranty). Shortly after the 1-year warranty expired, the unit started making a loud propeller-type noise and stopped cooling on a Friday afternoon. We had to cook the food that was thawing from freezer and throw out a lot of food from fridge.We had a bout of food poisoning from refrigerated food that apparently had spoiled, so we threw it all out. After 9 days without a refrigerator and living out of an ice chest, the unit was repaired. The one year warranty had expired however the 10-year warranty on the compressor was still valid. Only one issue, the 10-year warranty on the compressor covers the compressor part only, not the labor or coolant. So the compressor, which has a $130 cost per the tech, cost me over $250 in labor and coolant.Now, less than 90 days later, the fridge started sounding like a turboprop airplane that we cant even watch TV on the same floor. This is the same symptoms as before and after spending 30 min on the phone with LG customer service rep Carl, in the Philippines, who asked if I approved to accept charge up to $200 for service call. Are you kidding me?!? I have an appointment with service tech this week which will hopefully cover the repair under warranty. No more LG for me, ever. They are still Lucky Goldstar to me and still operate like the same company that manufactured Lucky Goldstar branded microwaves for Walmart not long ago. Anything but LG. Never again.
My experience with my LG is terrible. My refrigerator, as even confirmed by the technician, doesnt cool. And LG said they had numerous problems with the cooling system and leakage. Since January, they came seven times and it has not been fixed. And since January, it hasnt been cooling. We called LG. The fridge is under warranty. From what Im seeing on the warranty information, its a 15-year warranty that technicians have been sent over and over again. The tech re-fixed the entire refrigerator with new parts, new compressor, and still, its not working. I loaded it up the last time he did it, and I told the LG service people its not working, and they told me, Well, bring the person one more time. And as long as they document that its not repairable, they will give me a new refrigerator or pay me whatever the cost of the new refrigerator is nowadays.So I gave them again the benefit of the doubt. The last time they fixed it, only the bottom freezer part was working. I loaded it up with food because it was Easter time and I was expecting company and I needed the space to load the food in there, and two days later, everything has melted, and I still have the food. So the top part never worked. I even did what they asked. I have it documented and turned it over to the attorney general. Because they were not even gonna honor. I have it written in their email, where the lady is saying, Give us one more time, a chance. And theyre still not honoring their email or their writing. Theyve been ignoring me.Also, LG subcontracts to foreigners. Every time I speak with someone, its from the Philippines. They have this executive service department. I try to connect with them, and they dont even take any initiative to do anything. This executive department is a joke. I spoke with every supervisor that existed there, and I have documented their names. I asked for a manager and they wont give me a manager. They say that theyre the ones responsible to do something. Then do something.Im very dissatisfied. Ive looked through the reviews, and every single person that complained about the cooling system gave up. Im not gonna give up. If thats what they think Im gonna do, no way. Now, Im waiting from the attorney general. And they also confirmed that theyve been having problems and a lot of consumers have turned to them where they made LG pay for the refrigerator.
I‚€ôve dealt with many terrible companies in my time but never one as bad as LG. I bought a refrigerator with an extended warranty and the compressor (main component) died on me within that time period. Called LG to help. A very friendly agent set up an appointment with me with a company based in NJ called ‚€úRising‚€Ě. No sooner did I hang up did Rising call me back to tell me they do not service my area and they have to cancel my appointment. This is when the real trouble happened.I called back LG and they referred me to my next two non-existent authorized dealers. When faced with the reality that no one would fix my warranty refrigerator, I sought out my own resolution. Called LG to get an authorization letter for an ‚€úoutside‚€Ě repair company to fix my fridge. After 24-48 hours I called back. They told me they had cancelled the request for an outside vendor and made an appointment with Rising service again. I called them again and was told once again that they do not service my area and they intend to keep cancelling whatever appointment LG makes for me. I called back LG. This circle of events occurred again in the exact same order THREE times. I tired to escalate to management and got more runaround.With no refrigeration for a week I finally decided to pay out of pocket and sue them later. Here‚€ôs what I found out though. A little INSIDER SECRET - LG does not pay the authorized companies and that‚€ôs why no one wants to do their jobs. So take it from me. So far I‚€ôm out 3/4 of the value of the fridge in a little over 3 years - do NOT buy an LG product because if it goes bad you‚€ôre out of luck. Learn from my mistake.

Compr√© la secadora LG DLE3170 hace unos 3 a√Īos. En 6 meses empec√© a tener problemas con la pantalla de pelusa. Durante el centrifugado la rejilla empezaba a levantarse por encima del borde entre 3 y 5 mm, lo suficiente para atrapar la pieza de ropa. Luego se arremolinaba en una cuerda floja, lo que tra√≠a consigo otras piezas de ropa y todas ellas se apretaban en una enorme espiral. The features that I like about the refrigerator is the finish, the size, the overall design, it also has large storage drawers and also has a large freezer to make it easy to organize your frozen foods. I would like to see a more variety of colors and finishes and more unique and innovative features that no other brand has and app to control the temperature of your refrigerator and a ice and water dispenser that can be controlled by an app as well. I choose the LG brand because the brand has been around for a long time. They are a high quality brand. They make a variety of durable and unique products. Their products have a unique and stylish design and are easy to use and lasts a long time.

No iba a estar en la casa donde est√° la secadora hasta dentro de 5 meses, as√≠ que LG extendi√≥ la garant√≠a hasta que pudiera volver para arreglarla. I bought one of the first LG washer/dryer that first came out - navy blue. At the very beginning I noticed some rust forming, thought it was me not drying the moisture. But now there is so much by rust by the soap tray and at the bottom where the washer and cabinet come together. Its been leaking a small leak all these years. Have pictures.
My LG washer broke three months ago. I have a service contract but the companies LG hired to repair the washer have done nothing. I can‚€ôt even call them. Their mailbox is full. They do not answer or return or leave messages. I have a $1500 steam washer and I‚€ôm still going to the Laundromat paying to do my laundry for three months. Next time I‚€ôm going back to Maytag.
Do not buy this junk. If you want your clothes clean...forget it. My clothes come out stinking. I want my old washer back. No water in this machine. It dry washes everything. The clothes smell worse than when they went in. I wish I could get my money back. Garbage garbage garbage. You can not soak anything or control anything you want. We need to get a class action lawsuit going.

After many years of being professionals in the working world, we have hit on the WORST product and service from an appliance manufacturer. Our washer was just over 12 months old when we began to experience relentless problems such as continuous UE signals, subsequential refilling of the washer tub, prolonged run times up to 4 hours, and soaking wet clothes even after the spin cycle was completed. We called LG Customer Service and were told in so many words---too bad but it is your problem.We have been Honda car owners for 30 years and cannot say enough good about their customer service and working WITH us when any problems occurred. As a result, we have told many others to buy Honda and they will NEVER be disappointed. We were just told by a repairman that the control panel is bad and needs to be replaced to the tune of $234.00. This on a washer that is now about 15 months old. Quality control must not be existent at LG. In this case, we WILL tell all those we know NEVER to buy a LG product of any sort.
I bought a new LG Refrigerator in May 2018. Within a month, I started having issues with the refrigerator. It started making a very loud noise & had cooling issues. I called LG customer service, as it was under a manufacturers warranty. For last 2.5 months, LG could not even repair the refrigerator or provide a replacement. Highly unprofessional customer service, as the updated provided by them changes every week. Considering my experience, I will never buy LG products.
My husband bought this horrible piece of crap without me. We had it a couple of months when it started to fail. Getting stuck on spin cycle and the clothes were SOAKED. Tech came in and said we have to put it on BULK (never had this problem with other machines). So, he cleared it, and worked on the drain motor. A couple months later (while using bulk setting), the machine did the same thing. In the year and a half since we bought it, it had done this about 25 times. Second time we had a tech come out... tried to tell us the same thing. This item is faulty. Just found out a friend with a front load LG is having the same issue. Never buying an LG again.

The washer keeps tripping GFI which indicates a current leakage problem, that is, a DESIGN PROBLEM. Local techs and LG keep writing this up as an electrical breaker tripping which is a problem of shorting out, or over-amping, not current leakage. GFI breakers are required by electrical code in areas where water is present. The local techs and LG want to solve this problem by removing the GFI, thus violating electrical code in order to make their product work. Current leakage design problems dont improve, they get worse over time, further endangering customer safety.
I am disappointed that the fridge stopped cooling in about 3 years. Repair process/experience is even worse. Took LG and contractor three times to come and fix and fix again and again. Food reimbursement never showed up over a month since request sent in as early as 4/1/19. Had to call on 5/20/19 and got another case number and told me I should have received an email in 48 hours. Now it is over 72 hours. Horrible experience! No more LG products for my family.
We bought a brand new LG double after all my family told me how well they are. FYI parents and sister have only had theirs for a couple years so they are just lucky so far. Good thing I bought the warranty from the store however after spending 1600 dollars I cant believe it is malfunctioning. Currently top oven will not hold temperature when you pre set it to a certain degree. At 400 it warms up but as soon as the little tune goes off the oven shuts itself down and completely cools off. The lower oven has the exact opposite issue and heated up to a very dangerous 550 degrees via my thermometer when I pre set it to three hundred and fifty degrees to bake cookies. I had to unplug the oven as I could not get the temperature to stop rising. I have children and currently puppies in the house. I could have had a very bad accident. I cannot believe that LG would sell these faulty products that are downright DANGEROUS. I am currently waiting 2 weeks for a certified repairman unable to plug it in and cook for my family as I am scared the oven below me will explode or worse. After reading the reviews I am not very hopeful for the future of the range as it seems that even if I do get it repaired I will have issues... I should have realized this after my new dryer fried out after 6 months but I let it go thinking it was just a one off factory defect. The dryer and washer both LG are currently working but it seems we are going to throw away 4500 dollars total between all 3 and warranty plans and I guess we will start saving up for Whirlpool appliances. Please if anyone out there is reading this considering an LG... DONT make the same mistake I did! The old adage of you get what you pay for does not hold with LG appliances... you can save money and get better!
We exchanged a defective Samsung refrigerator for an LG 8 months ago and paid more for it as well. Right after Christmas found everything defrosted in our freezer and the refrigerator not working as well. Called LG and after waiting forever, told that nobody could come out for at least 4 days for repair. The repair guy shows up today to tell me the compressor is shot (again, after only 8 months) and he does not have one on his truck! He had 2 and used both this morning!! Now with the New Year Holiday one will not be delivered until next week and the repairman hopes he can get out to fix it then. After spending $2,800 I really didnt think Id have to be purchasing a mini refrigerator and loads of ice. Terrible product, worse customer service - save yourself money and DO NOT buy an LG product!
Spending nearly $900 on my LG washing machine was the single biggest waste of hard earned money I‚€ôve ever experienced. This thing is not worth the box it came in. It‚€ôs the worst household appliance I‚€ôve ever owned. Since my purchase I‚€ôve read countless reviews saying the exact same thing. It‚€ôs not at all unusual to spend between 12 and 36 hrs to actually get a load of clothes washed after continuous malfunctions. We are literally hauling it to the landfill. This machine would be an insult to give to someone else. I will most definitely not ever purchase another LG product. BE WARNED... Do your research and check reviews before wasting your money on any type of LG washing machine. This product doesn‚€ôt even deserve 1 star. Customer service is non-existent so don‚€ôt waste your time trying to get help, they could literally care less about any problems you might be having.

I purchased a brand new LG Range, Model #LDE3031ST that was delivered from Best Buy on February 8, 2014. I am only at this residence on Saturday and Sunday where the Range is, so it gets minimal use. On April 8, 2014, the bottom oven of the range stopped working. I contacted Best Buy who referred me to LG. I jumped through hoops with LG. They insisted I send them a receipt documenting that the unit was new and still under warranty. I did this the same day. No response. Two days later, I call again. I am given the number of the local repair company who is suppose to fix it. Fine, it was a Saturday so I was told by LG that I should hear from them on Monday. I did not. On Tuesday, I receive an email with a repair date of Tuesday. I call LG to find out what time and they tell me that it has been cancelled because the repairman said I wasnt available. I never received a call and I actually have someone sitting at the residence all day this day. I am told that they can come out Friday (today). Fine, I have someone sitting there waiting. I call LG this morning. They are closed for the holiday. I call the repairman. This is my third call to the repairman who has not returned my calls. He is rude and states that they have no repairs scheduled for today. That maybe Monday or Tuesday he will call me. Easter is Sunday. I have 20 people coming over that I have to feed cold cereal because the oven doesnt work.I am getting a run around for a lemon. I have been waiting 20 years for a new range that works. I am not happy with this one. LG does not stand behind their product. When I continually call, I am confronted each time with a, what seems to be the problem. Evidence they do not keep records. Do NOT buy from LG. Its the worst experience I have ever had with an appliance. I plan on opening a claim with the BBB and my local Attorney General.UPDATED ON 01/23/2015: I had written a previous review regarding the horrible service I received from LG. Since my original review, a service tech has come out to my home 4 more times to fix the same issue. LG refused to give me a new range. For the year I owned the range, 15 days was the waiting period I had to wait for the stove to be delivered. The first service call I did not have a working range for 6 weeks. The second service call, no range for 3 weeks. The third, no range for two weeks and the last service call, no range for 4 weeks. So out of the 12 month warranty, my range only worked less then 8 months. Buyer BEWARE. Every holiday last year was ruined because of this stupid range. Every holiday, I was without a range that worked and LG responded with, We are very busy with it being the holidays. The service tech, which was very nice and not working directly for LG but an independent that I made them send because the LG tech never showed up and never called. The tech told me that these stoves constantly have trouble because its a smart stove and the motherboard can break from a brown out or the simplest things. Run from LG.
I liked the refrigerator. A lot of people recommended it to me to use because they use the same good brand. It reliable and something you can depend on. It keeps a sense of clean. Kept my food frozen. All my food and drinking items was fresh. Every time I put some in the refrigerator it was wasnt harmed. I love my ice maker and all the good features on it. I could recommend the refrigerator to anybody to try out and use. I bought it at a reasonable price and value. The refrigerator has met my expectations. Kids lunches and all are fresh and well kept for the next day. All of my food is safe and ready to cook each time. The refrigerator has been good and I love it. I would recommend it to family and friends or anybody looking for a good brand.

LG envi√≥ a 3 t√©cnicos diferentes que me dieron diferentes informes con problemas con el refrigerador el compresor, el panel y problemas dentro del refrigerador. No estaba satisfecho con el producto y pregunt√© a LG si pod√≠a conseguir un nuevo frigor√≠fico o un reembolso porque no me sent√≠a c√≥modo aceptando que LG reparara un producto que s√≥lo ten√≠a desde hac√≠a 17 d√≠as. Despu√©s de ir de un lado a otro y de hablar con una supervisora, Cecilia, me dijeron que ten√≠a que enviar la factura del frigor√≠fico a un correo electr√≥nico que me hab√≠an proporcionado y que alguien del departamento de reembolsos se pondr√≠a en contacto conmigo en un plazo de 5 d√≠as. Volv√≠ a llamar el lunes 30 de noviembre. Ped√≠ hablar con un supervisor. Se neg√≥ a darme su nombre. Me transfiri√≥ al departamento de reembolsos. Me informaron de que nunca hab√≠an denegado mi solicitud porque el departamento de atenci√≥n al cliente nunca hab√≠a presentado mi solicitud. Pusieron en sus notas que ten√≠a que aceptar la reparaci√≥n. Ahora es el 1 de diciembre de 2020. Todav√≠a no tengo un refrigerador. Tengo 4 ni√Īos peque√Īos y tengo que comprar todo para cocinarles. Esto es inaceptable y el peor servicio al cliente que he recibido.
I will never ever buy another LG product of any kind. I purchased my washing machine almost five years ago and have been fighting with it ever since. At ok never point I discovered that the machine had actually been recalled. The machine was known to vibrate across the floor. The techs have been out numerous times but when Home Depot called they said they were only out twice, once a no power issue. They are so misinformed. I had the motherboard replaced and other issues. Now if I wash a quilt the machine stops and flashes. Then when I put it on Spin Only it shoots out water!! So I am left with soggy blankets. I am so furious and disappointed. They should have designated this a lemon four years ago. I think someone needs to instigate a class-action lawsuit against LG. Why are we putting up with this??? I plan to have my lawyer look into this. The techs are coming again on Friday. They will say the same nonsense. I will tell them it is time to sue.
I was happy with the young man that repaired our refrigerator. He was professional and completed his work within a timely manner. I was disappointed in LG for not trusting me, I told the lady the compressor was not running. The fan and lights were working, just not the compressor. The temperature in the refrigerator was 65 degrees plus. I also told her I had heard the compressor running loud a few days before and now nothing. If the lady at LG had trusted me, the part could have been ordered and here or with repairman when he arrived here the first time and I could have my refrigerator repaired and running a week earlier. I am all not happy that repairs had to be done within the first few years of owning it. I understand that this is a regular occurrence on refrigerators now. Disappointed in the integration of the companies putting in place planned obsolescence. I have a 25 year old refrigerator that is still running and has never had repairs done to it. The big profits for the companies, is not good for the consumers or the landfills. I am thankful for the warranty that did cover the parts and the lady at LG for covering the labor repairs. I am just sorry that I have to be without my refrigerator for a extended period of time.
I purchased 5 Major LG Appliances (Range, Washer, Dryer-both with pedestals, Dishwasher and Refrigerator) in August of 09. Right away the appliances started giving me issues. The Dryer would not dry completely, due to me calling so many times, a tech was sent and told me not to use dryer sheets, um ok. I then received a part, a whole electronic panel in which I didnt even know was coming with no one to put it on. I still just have to dry my laundry 2 times to completely dry. The washer has had several parts replaced, I actually ordered the parts online since LG gave me the run around. The refrigerator works but has issues with the way it was built, cheaply! The dishwasher does nothing close to washing dishes. I rinse everything before it goes in and they come out dirty, like they were soaking in a mud bath. The MAJOR complaint is the LG LRE30453 Range. It is dangerous. I have called for over 2 years about this range overheating, both the burners and the oven. I was told to unplug, to reset the breakers, leave off 10 minutes, reset temperature but holding down the bake key and adjusting the temp up or down. I have done everything and it does not work properly. The range heats up to 600 degrees no matter what temp it is turned on to. It does not give an error code and it does not lock like it would if it were overheating, there is also a fuse that is supposed to blow if it gets too hot, per the tech that finally was sent this week, per LG extending my warranty on parts and Labor. The tech said that, due to the range being RECALLED, as well as the amount it would cost to fix it, that he would deem it unrepairable and LG should replace it. WELL, LG called this morning and let me know they were going to send me a check for $253.43 plus tax for my range and for me to Scrap the one I have now. I told them that was not acceptable and would not cover the price even of a generic brand and I wanted a supervisor, they had Michael, supposedly a supervisor called me and he gave me an extra year on the warranty to up the amount to $375.14 plus tax (403.25), but he wants me to send the range to LG, wait 3-6 weeks for them to review the range, then send me a check for the stated amount. I asked if they were going to cover meals during that time and he snickered and said, um no maam, we sure wont. I am SO furious about this. The tech said the range could be fixed but, in his line of work, he will usually deem it unrepairable if the cost to repair will exceed the price of LG replacing it for the customer. Well, now I am screwed, LG needs to either fix my range for 1500 or replace it for the 800 I paid for it on sale.I was on the phone with LG , 4 different people, hung up in 2 times after waiting on hold for their escalation team to answer. I called the 3rd time, got a lady names Ross and sat on hold for 25 minutes before she came on the line to tell me that she was reading my notes and I already talked to Michael so, there was nothing to be done. I asked about the escalation line again and she was very rude, and acted like I just wanted a new stove because mine was scratched or the paint was chipped, due to the lady taking my techs call RMAd the range and put due to paint chipping...I guess that was the easiest thing to pick to devalue the range the most. My tech called them and let them know he did not deem it unrepairable due to paint, that was just an issue from the overheating of the unit and it was UNUSABLE not cosmetically damaged like they reported that he claimed. He actually called them from my kitchen on speaker phone to describe to them the issues. Ross then very rudely gave me a number to call the escalation team myself and the phone rang and rang, to finally a recording of, this department is closed, please call back in normal business hours. I was on the phone with these clowns ALL day, with the supervisor Michael telling me that this week is the first time I have ever called them. Funny how all my calls disappeared once I called them out on not notifying me of the RECALL on this lemon of a range. I then referred back to my dryer issue and they acted like I was crazy. I guess at this point, I AM CRAZY, and broke from eating out and ruining food and pots and pans. LG is a JOKE. Life is NOT good with LG, they stink and do NOT stand behind their overpriced headaches of appliances.
Purchased this top load LG washer 4 years ago. Problems with the performance: Takes too long to do a small or medium load. Washer does not balance the load. Sheets and other large items cover the smaller clothes and they never get clean. Machine Quality. Washer LID BROKE APART for no reason. Will not close at all now which means I cannot use the machine. I contacted LG and complained gave me a case #. Never called me back. When I contacted them they said that the warranty was only for a year. Had to order a new LID for $200 which I have not received yet. Not sure if the expense for the LID was a good idea. The problem will most likely happen again. $700 for this machine was a WASTE of hard earned money. WILL NEVER BUY ANY LG PRODUCT AGAIN.
The LG refrigerator is one of the best refrigerators I have ever owned. Keeps everything cold and fresh. Even when the power went out because of hurricane; food lasted overnight till we could get gen. Only problem is the ice maker doesnt work well.
I purchased my LG French Door Refrigerator in August of 2013. It worked great until earlier this week when it completely stopped cooling after only 2 1/2 years of use. I called LG and was sent to an overseas call center where someone reading from a script was quick to inform me that the 1 year warranty of my $2,000 appliance had expired. Not only did they not make any effort to help me, all they did was provide the names of two non-local companies who could service my appliance at my expense. I called the companies who would not travel to my home. I called LG back and they told me to find a repair person myself because they have no authorized repair people in my area. I did find a repair person to look at it and it was determined to be a sealed system failure which would be covered under my limited parts warranty. I called LG back and they have no one in my area that will work on a sealed system failure on their product. I have a completely useless product and no one to fix it. I paid $2000 for a refrigerator and I am storing my groceries in a cooler in my garage. I have never received such horrible customer service and I would strongly caution anyone considering an LG appliance to NOT do it! I will NEVER do business with this company again.
Please check on the customer service before purchasing from LG. We live in a small town (50,000) and all of our usual repair folks refuse to work on LGs. Had to have someone from 75 miles away come, and they were unable to repair after four service calls. Have been in touch with LG---They told us this was the only person around that could work on the refrigerator! Would not buy an LG again because of issues of poor service after the purchase. Have been without a refrigerator for four weeks waiting on someone to repair it.
Ive had my LG Top Load Washer 2yrs, 4 mo and couldnt be more displeased with it. As others have said, it gets out of balance nearly every load and doesnt wash anything very well. Often I have to wash a 2nd time. Today was the icing on the cake. It overflowed and flooded 3 rooms. I put it on pause and opened the lid, and it started draining water. I let it finish then turned it OFF and it went back to draining even more water in OFF. I pulled the plug and ready to send it off a cliff. NO MORE LG for me. First and last time!! I wont bother getting it fixed since I can tell that will be a waste of more money on a cruddy product.
It is up to date, keeps food cold, and also keeps drinks pretty cold as well. Its also pretty spacious to put leftovers and other stuff in it like juice, milk, etc.. It is an all around amazing brand when it comes to fridges. I have always liked LG and I will get another LG brand in the future. I love the brand because they make a lot of good stuff that is very up to date. LG has always succeeded to make me happy with their appliances. I love how every time I put a used drink in my fridge. It stays super cold so its refreshing when I want it again.
Purchased a BRAND NEW Kenmore Elite 2014. Within 6 months, had a frozen drain which froze up the food in the refrigerator part. It was under warranty, so fixed without cost. I lost food though. In Jan 2019 the evaporator, compressor and dryer broke!! It would have cost close to 1,000.00 to fix, so I bought a service contract with Sears, monthly cost of 50.00 to cover all the new appliances I had purchased from Sears. It still cost 99.00 for the diagnostic. I lost food again!!! Now July 10, 2019 the evaporator broke again, not even 7 months old and again I LOST FOOD!!! LG you owe me for all the food I lost, in addition to lost time at work to be home so the repair people can FIX MY LESS THAN 5 YEAR OLD REFRIGERATOR.
