La peor experiencia que he tenido como consumidor - nunca. Ped√≠ un microondas LG 1,3,18 a trav√©s de un tercero, AJ Madison. Se retras√≥ semanas (no es culpa de LG), cuando finalmente lo recib√≠ y lo enchuf√© ten√≠a un c√≥digo de la muerte - F11. Nunca funcion√≥, ni siquiera UN SEGUNDO. Eso fue a mediados de marzo. Ahora es el 3 de mayo de 2018. He enviado repetidos recibos, he respondido a sus cartas, he pedido m√°s informaci√≥n, he tomado fotos, he cortado los n√ļmeros de serie, he firmado declaraciones de que, de hecho, compr√© el microondas. I really loved this refrigerator (LMXS30776S), lots of space, extra drawer for drinks, and the black stainless steel. We bought it 5/22/16, and the compressor went out on 6/29/18... we bought the extended warranty (thru HH Gregg). They had someone out 7/3 who said they werent qualified to fix the compressor, and another company stood us up altogether. After hours spent on hold, and the warranty company saying its now in a diff department... I ended up live chatting with LG who gave me a list of their approved companies - out of 6 I finally have someone coming out to hopefully fix the compressor on 7/20. We paid $3461 (tax & warranty included) for this beautiful piece of worthless metal! I understand things break, but I think its strange that some companies refuse to work on LG refrigerators or arent qualified. I would never recommend this refrigerator.
We have had an LG refrigerator for 6.5 years (Model LFC25765ST). It stopped cooling one day. When I called LG Canadas Customer Service Center (in Manila, Philippines) the agents were all very pleasant and professional. However, the experience to get a qualified technician out to support or repair the problem was beyond belief! The management in charge of this division, or divisions responsible to coordinate, and execute on field service and repair are irresponsible and doing incredible damage to the LG brand. Because LG insists on doing the services themselves, the experience is HORRIBLE! They have authorized a very small number of local companies/technicians to do warranty work as well, but the list is really short, and should include a much larger list of qualified service techs. I have 3 LG appliances currently. When I bought them, they were all serviceable by the company/dealer I bought them from. LG changed that a few years back, and really screwed up the potential to have appliances repaired by qualified companies with a positive experience. The details of all the pitfalls of my experiences over a 6 day period and my 9 different calls to the customer service group are too numerous to list here. JUST AVOID using LG techs to perform service if you already have an LG appliance, and AVOID BUYING any LG appliances no matter what!!!
I have only had my over the stove microwave for a little over a year (model # LG - LMV2031ST). It stopped working. I am very surprised. I spent time researching it and expected to have it last longer than a year. My previous one lasted 11 years. It was from a different company. The warranty has conveniently expired. I now have to spend precious funds for repairs or to purchase another one. I am on a fixed income and would never consider buying another LG product.
Se oxid√≥ todo en 2 a√Īos. No limpia la ropa tan bien. Tuve una Whirlpool durante 19 a√Īos y nunca se oxid√≥ y la ropa sale limpia. La secadora est√° bien pero en menos de un a√Īo se rompi√≥ el filtro. LG no se sostiene con su producto. La Whirlpool que tambi√©n tuve durante 19 a√Īos ten√≠a el mismo filtro. S√≥lo cambi√© de m√°quina porque ya no llegaba al fondo as√≠ que compr√© la de carga frontal. Gran error.
There is a constant nasty mold smell. This is ridiculous! Of all the washers I have had in my life this was the most expensive and the least effective. Has all these lights and noises, but the clothes dont get very clean and loading is always off and IT SMELLS LIKE A SEWER PIPE! I leave the door open all the time as instructed, but it smells like an EGG FART EVERYDAY!
We bought an LG washing machine in April 2013 and immediately noticed lint on our clothes (dark) after each wash. I called LG to return and they said they had to send a tech out first. When the tech came, he saw the problem but could not figure out why it was happening. He called LG support from my home and they told me there is nothing they can do as the tech cannot find anything wrong. They refuse to do anything as they say nothing is wrong with this machine. I want to write the CEO but can not find email or postal address. Any ideas?
I am having the same problem as others stated about it stopping in the middle of loads. Ive been doing the same load for 4 hours now, still not done. The washer is only about 3 or 4 years old. And dont even ask me about the LG TV fiasco. Still waiting after 1 1/2 YEARS for them to call me back with a repairman. Dead pixels right out of box. LG claims they have no repair people in our area. I will never buy another LG product and tell my story with everyone I can.
I just saw a lot of my relatives and friends own an LG refrigerator so I decided I might as well get one too. Its more because its popular and my local store had one on sale that I found very appealing. I really enjoy how slick and modern the design appears. Modern design is what I can really appreciate especially since it saves energy. But I realized that it comes with a lot of technology features that I really enjoy and find tremendously helpful. Honestly there is nothing I donit like about this refrigerator, very cool and very efficient at what it does, its technology is top-notch with a touch screen and the ability to save power, theres no reason not to love it.
0 stars ! We have had the LG front loading washer for several years and have tried all tricks to get rid of the moldy smell, like leaving the door open when not in use, to no avail. The repair man suggested we run a bleach load first to help kill the smell prior to doing the other loads, or just run it empty with bleach prior to using it. We bought it for its efficiency, not to waste energy! We have reached the end of our rope with this washer and feel it is irresponsible to even give it away due to the health concerns.
La lavadora y la secadora son muy elegantes y funcionan bien. La lavadora es muy vers√°til y puede limpiar cargas peque√Īas o grandes. Hay un sinf√≠n de ciclos, muchos de los cuales no utilizo. S√≥lo hay dos adultos en la casa. La secadora funciona bien y no seca demasiado la ropa. Mi √ļnica queja es que la lavadora tarda demasiado en el ciclo normal. Por eso uso el ciclo r√°pido en la mayor√≠a de las cargas.
We bought our range in May of 2017. By Sept of 2017 it required its first service. It stopped working due to a problem with the connection. It was repaired and was covered by warranty. Now, it‚€ôs Oct 2019. The burners don‚€ôt heat correctly. The front burner is heating too hot while the left front doesn‚€ôt heat at all. Stays lukewarm. Then when I turn on the rear burner the front right comes on. My range is either possessed or just that jacked up. I wouldn‚€ôt get another LG range if it were free and came with a professional chef! Do not buy this product.
LG French Door refrigerator - I hope this review will provide you with enough information to stay FAR AWAY from LG. I purchased this refrigerator in May, 2013. In early September 2017 the compressor died. Until LG determined that there was NO qualified installer in the Phoenix area, they made a one time arrangement with an independent contractor to install the new compressor. Five weeks later the replacement died and we have been arguing with LG customer service to have a new compressor installed.This has been going on for about a week. Two weeks ago I had knee replacement surgery and I am to ice it quite frequently. It take a freezer to do that. My wife has to keep going to the market to buy ice for me. LG does not give a damn about anything. They will offer no compensation for food lost, we asked LG to replace the refrigerator and they just laughed it off. As of today we still do not know when this will be repaired. What a disgrace!
RUST at the metal lips where the detergents are poured. I noticed some rust under the plastic cover where the detergent is poured and decided to take out the four screws and check where the plastic meets the metal. IT WAS ALL RUSTED. The instruction manual does not require that the four screws be taken out for cleaning. The manual requires cleaning of the plastic area so that the dispensers work well, which we did. I reported this to LG with the pictures that I am sharing. They asked me if I use corrosive materials like bleach. Of course we do and the dispenser has a location where to apply the bleach. This unit is not heavily used (3 people), well cleaned and maintained (I am an engineer). It is no longer under warranty and LG said that it is cosmetic. I disagree because pieces of the rust are getting into our laundry as the washer vibrates. Check out the photos and decide.

El departamento de servicio de LG no quiere cambiar la estufa defectuosa diciendo que las piezas de repuesto puestas para NO arreglar el problema no eran piezas importantes. Pueden establecer una s√©ptima llamada de servicio para NO arreglarlo de nuevo. Ellos apestan y el producto apesta.
Compr√© una lavadora LG de alta gama. Lava bien las cargas regulares de ropa - SIN EMBARGO - ¬°NO planee lavar s√°banas o almohadillas de colch√≥n! LG WM3360HWCA - After about 2 years the washer sounds like a Concorde taking off on spin cycle. You cannot be in the same room as the noise is so bad. Called LG and of course theres no one here on the island (live in Hawaii) to come and service it. They gave me the contact number for a company that does repairs. Unfortunately after a week of calling them and no return calls I ended up having Sears come out. He spun the drum in the machine all for $105 and then stated that the repairs would be $1100 as the bearings had gone out. I paid $700 for this washer. How can the repairs cost more? The Sears service rep said that I was over using the machine. I explained that I only fill up to the minimum line on the guide inside. He stated that in Hawaii the water is soft and that we are supposed to use half the recommendation that is on the bottle. I have never heard this before. So now out-of-pocket and have to go and buy a brand-new washer. LG the good life my ass.
Purchased a washer/dryer company WM3987HW at the end of last July. In December the unit flooded due to quality issue - technicians words on the report. Went a whole month without a repair because according to the report that they received it was an installation issue. They will not send me a copy of their report so I can compare to the one I have. Nowhere on my report do I have installation as the cause. Hours on the phone from customer service, supervisors and claims department and 5 months later still have no end to my nightmare. Im in the process now of having to prove to them that it was a quality issue. I have already done all this once in my application for repairs. This will be the third time that all the information has been sent.Second issue I have is since January my pump has been replaced 2 times with a service call in for the same issue. My unit is not working again. That will be 3 pumps replaced in 5 months. They will not replace the product and will not guarantee me in writing that they will replace the pump if it goes again after warranty. The only reason Im even checking off one of the rating stars is for those customer servant agents that apologized wishing they could do more for me but their hands were tied. Has to be very hard to work for a company that isnt based on ethics.

Habl√© con un par de personas de soporte de LG y la primera envi√≥ a una persona de reparaci√≥n porque la m√°quina no se seca. El t√©cnico no encontr√≥ nada malo. Volv√≠ a llamar porque la m√°quina segu√≠a sin secar y LG iba a enviar de nuevo a una persona de reparaci√≥n... Entonces llam√© al t√©cnico y me dijo que estas m√°quinas nunca secan y que si volv√≠a a venir, s√≥lo comprobar√≠a las especificaciones y que √©stas eran correctas. As√≠ que volv√≠ a llamar a la gente de soporte de LG y esta vez la se√Īora me dijo que la m√°quina s√≥lo seca al 90%. De hecho, no seca realmente. La prob√© usando la mitad de la carga de lavado y creo que despu√©s de horas de secado, estaba m√°s h√ļmeda que cuando sali√≥ de la lavadora. Ahora tengo que comprar una secadora. He tratado de disputar esto con Goedekers, la compa√Ī√≠a a la que compr√© esta m√°quina, pero su pol√≠tica es que una vez que se entrega, es tuya. El punto es que no deber√≠an vender esta m√°quina y el p√ļblico deber√≠a ser advertido de no comprarla.
Ha sido un buen producto en general. Algunas de las piezas de pl√°stico se han roto - de fabricaci√≥n barata - pero por lo dem√°s es fiable. Ha aguantado bien los √ļltimos a√Īos, pero a los 10 a√Īos est√° empezando a mostrar algo de desgaste en la suspensi√≥n del tambor por lo que puedo ver. I just called LG to try and warranty my french door refrigerator with a broken compressor. I purchased my unit Aug. 2012, and I am well within my 10 year warranty. Heck, Im still within the 7 year warranty for the other parts that will need to be replaced when they repair the compressor. They transferred me to their affiliated repair company and they want $1000.00 to fix my unit. If Im under warranty, why do I have to pay that much for something that is guaranteed to break again, from reading all these comments???? $1k I might as well use that money for a new unit, not LG!
It had a leaking Tromm front loader. This ruined my 180 sq. ft. of ash hardwood flooring costing approximately $2000.00. After the floor was replaced and a pan placed under the machine, I have noticed that it fills up about once a week. This leak is coming from the dispenser tray! I noticed water and soap residue on the inside of the front panel that had also caused the door hinge to start rusting. After closer inspection of the dispenser during operation, I can see water hitting the angled section of the tray and running over the side. LG said a repair tech would have to fix this, but without a newly designed part, it will just do the same thing again. This is not caused by too much soap as some might suggest because it does this with or without adding soap! The only solution I see is to buy another brand after spending over $1000.00 a year for a poorly designed product.
If I only had read all the reviews on the LG refrigerators... I would have avoided all the aggravation and expense. I Bought an LG refrigerator 1yr ago. I had it serviced 3 times... Freezer leaked and fridge did not stay cool... Spoiled food, wet floor (accident waiting to happen if I hadnt notice the flood)... This is nothing you want to see when you walk into your house after 10 hrs of work... After $600 in repairs had to get rid of it... Just a waste of $1100 + repairs. To top it off, had to purchase a new fridge... Dont buy LG...
I decided to try LG because it was on sale at menards and I bought it. I was looking to upgrade to a different refrigerator from the original side-by-side that I owned. The only thing that I have not liked about this refrigerator is that the cover on the ice machine has broken. Theres a couple screws to the latch on it and they have broken off. Other than that, I like the fact that it has an ice maker and it also has the water dispenser. I like that it has the freezer door on the bottom. It has the open wide space on the top for the refrigerator.

I purchased an LG refrigerator. It was the four model. I took it home and it didn‚€ôt work. LG sent out a tech. The tech broke it even more. I told LG to send out somebody from a different company. A guy came out about 10 times. Then I finally told him that I just wanna get rid of it. He got in contact with LG, LG told me to send over a letter with a stamp on it from the inside of the fridge. I mailed that off a couple of days ago and Im just waiting to get my refund. Now, I‚€ôve got a broken fridge sitting inside of my kitchen that I have to somehow dispose of.
My LG fridge is a dud, within months of ownership, the door shelves broke off, the snack drawer cracked, and during Summer, the freezer does not freeze; needless to say, it does not make ice, and your food is constantly ruined. Forget about ice cream!
Unfortunately we have the exact complaints as everyone else!! Do NOT buy LG products! They do not last and even worse is the customer service. We have been trying to get our refrigerator fixed for a month and a half. 3 times they‚€ôve sent out a technician and 2 of those three times they cancelled the appointment the day of. Spent an hour on the phone with customer service just to be mocked by a representative (John **) when I expressed frustration that our refrigerator went out after only 3 years....Oh wow, really, 3 years, hmmmm very sarcastically!
We recently purchased an LG washing machine, model WT1001CW. Overall, we are pleased with its design and function. It is very quiet (despite what some say about excessive noise), and for the most part it cleans okay. However, today, my wife put in some heavily soiled clothes, after an afternoon of working in her garden. These clothes were definitely dirty, but no different from clothes that we had washed dozens of times before in our previously-owned Kenmore agitator washer. Surprise! The claims we had read about that said the new impeller-type washer just didnt clean all that well are TRUE! As I write this, my wife is running the same clothes through a wash cycle for the THIRD TIME. This may not necessarily be an LG problem, but a problem with the basic concept of impeller washers. I will NEVER buy one again (unless that is all that I can buy). Sometimes new is not better.

In April 2015 I purchased an LG refrigerator model # LF S29766S from Bestbuy in Garden City, New York. On June 22, 2018 I noticed that everything in freezer was defrosted. Problem was reported to LG who referred me to Bestbuy who I had purchased 5 years warranty with. After waiting for nearly one week, serviceman assessed refrigerator and indicated that a new compressor was needed. After speaking to various people, I learned that there have been problems with LG refrigerators. If so many people are having problems, LG refrigerators should be banned.

I purchased a beautiful French door refrigerator (Model LFXC24796S) from the Home Depot in November 2017, by September 2018, the compressor has already gone out on this fridge. I purchased the extended warranty through Home Depot and the soonest they could send someone out was three days later to look at it. I was told parts had to be ordered because the compressor went out and it would take 3-5 business days. It has now been day 5 and I have received no contact from the service people and Home Depot and LG are giving me the runaround. Meanwhile we are at home living out of coolers for 11 days now with a beautiful looking $2,700 piece of crap. Threw away over $300 worth of food. I am so disappointed at LG and Home Depot for not doing something to make it right. I am about to drive this fridge to Home Depot and demand my money back. DO NOT EVER BUY AN LG fridge! Even the service technician who came out told me that all of these type fridges break very easily. For as much money as you spend, you can get something more worthwhile in a Whirlpool, GE, or KitchenAid.
Compr√© el microondas hace un a√Īo y funciona muy bien y calienta la comida de manera uniforme. Lo limpio f√°cilmente. Parece nuevo por dentro y por fuera. El color que tengo es negro con algunos revestimientos cromados y por dentro es beige.
La basura de lavadora de carga superior modelo WT1701CW no funciona. Esta lavadora, me dijo el vendedor de Conns, con quien ya no hago negocios, fue programada por una mujer. Deber√≠a hacerla feliz a ella y a sus amigos ecologistas, porque ahorra agua. Pero si quieres lavar tu ropa, no tienes suerte, porque no se sumergir√° por debajo del nivel del agua, que es de unos pocos cent√≠metros. LG no ayuda en absoluto, neg√°ndose a hacer nada. Ni actualizaci√≥n de software, ni reparaci√≥n, ni reprogramaci√≥n, ¬°NADA! El d√≠a de lavado en mi casa implica usar un CUBO para llenar la m√°quina hasta un nivel adecuado para el lavado, y luego repetir la brigada del cubo para el enjuague, ¬°CADA CARGA, CADA VEZ! I spent $2000 on this front loading brand new LG wash machine. I bought this machine in July 2016 - delivered in September 2016 - power stopped in February. LG sent Precision Television (took a month) with a new brain. They put the new brain in - guess what - worked for about a week. No power again. I had electrician come out - nothing wrong with my power. Called LG again - sent me to Appliance Doctor. They do not call back. Had to write to LG again and complain. I wish for a Samsung like I had before. These people need to give me my money back.
I bought my LG Refrigerator LFX28968ST March 2015 and after 3 years my compressor breaks. A repairman came to my house and charged me $450 in labor to install the new part. LG covered the part but I had to pay the labor. I wasn‚€ôt very happy about the situation but I had no other options but to pay. The repair man installed the new compressor and the refrigerator seemed to be cooling. The next day the refrigerator stopped cooling again. I called the repair man and he came back out to my house worked on the refrigerator for about 1 hour 1/2 and told me everything was working properly. The next day refrigerator stopped cooling again. I called the repairman. He came back out to my house for the third time and spent another hour 1 1/2 working on the refrigerator supposedly fixed it. The next day still not cooling. Called the repairman and he told me he was going to refund me all my money and I needed to buy new refrigerator because it is a lemon. I spent $2800 on this refrigerator and it cannot be fixed. I will never buy any LG products again.
They do not stand behind their product. Had issues with the washer the day we installed it. It leaked. Leak has stopped for now. Took over a month to get someone out to look at it. Repair person said they were ordering parts. Have not heard back from him. The washer works for now but what happens when it breaks down again? We have contacted LG several times and have gotten the runaround every time. They will not even give you an email you can reply to. DO NOT BUY LG. The company we purchased the item from has been very helpful. They even contacted LG several times.

We purchased an LG front load washer at Home Depot. Only after it was installed could we, and did we, learn that it vibrates incredibly loud on a firm modern floor regardless of the load and balance, and due to its very high spin speed. Home Depot and LG refuse to exchange it for a top loader. A Home Depot representative admitted that they intentionally do not mention that problem to potential purchasers. LG does not even respond to our many forms of contact. They both claim that the machine is working as designed, which can only mean that the design is defective. In our opinion, no one should purchase an LG front loader washer. We have had to resort to ridiculous and only partially successful steps to dampen the vibration and noise, such as cramming pool noodles around the washer (see attached photo).
It appears we are far from alone in this mess. Our refrigerator is not even three years old yet and the ice maker has ceased to work. Called twice ‚€Ē two different sets of instruments. Not enough words.
I bought this LG Gas Slide In Stove Model LSG4511ST from Home Depot online on Feb 17, 2018. Within a few weeks of barely using it all five burners on the stainless steel stove top were corroding with rust. We just spent a ton of money remodeling our kitchen and were excited to get our first and new Slide in Gas Stove. Well the nightmare began. We contacted Home Depot and they referred us to LG. Home Depot wouldn‚€ôt speak to us. We paid $1300 for the stove. After many calls, chats and emails to LG customer service and their executive office they replaced the entire SS stove top and all five burners after SIX months of hell with them. They didn‚€ôt show up, excuses, no response to emails, no call backs - HORRIBLE company. Then within a short time after they replaced parts it started corroding AGAIN around ALL FIVE burners. The calls, chats, emails to LG started again and this time they don‚€ôt respond at all. I tried Home Depot also and they will not take any responsibility. Nothing! I am sitting here with a defective ugly stove in the middle of our brand new kitchen. I am now forced to sue them. I filed a complain the US Bureau of Consumer Goods a month ago, was assigned a complaint number and ‚€úinvestigator‚€Ě name and email and they don‚€ôt respond either. I have tons of documentation of this nightmare and photos. The icing on the cake is I wrote a review for the stove on www.homedepot.com and they ‚€úrejected‚€Ě it. They didn‚€ôt want the public to know the truth about a product they sell!
I purchased an LG refrigerator from Home Depot. Most expensive refrigerator they had on the floor was $2800. I have had nothing but trouble with it. It has leaked 4-5 times ruining my floor and now it is not cooling or freezing. No one here in Cheyenne will even work on LGs. The repair business report has difficulty obtaining parts as they have had customers waiting for over a month to get parts so they will not service them. I am left with either cutting my losses or having someone come from over 60 miles away try to come and service. Be aware. Do not purchase LG because of their poor availability of service and parts and poor quality.
Dont buy any LG Refrigerators! It might be less expensive, but it will create more trouble to you. My LG refrigerator failed less than 5 years. Their consumer services and local 3rd party technician are not well trained. The $350 I paid for services is down in the drain. If they dont know how to fix it, just tell me and I will buy a new one. Dont buy LG.

LR3023ST - El panel t√°ctil dej√≥ de funcionar en varios botones que afectaban a 3 quemadores y algunos n√ļmeros del horno a los 2 a√Īos. El panel t√°ctil fue reemplazado. Luego, 2 meses despu√©s, volvi√≥ a ocurrir afectando a 2 quemadores diferentes y al bot√≥n de apagado del horno. No volveremos a comprar otra estufa LG. Nos gustar√≠a darle un cero a este costoso esfuerzo ya que hoy salimos a comprar otra estufa.
I have a LG LSXS26326 side by side, not even 3 years old, purchased 3/2015 from Lowes for $1600, 3 weeks ago is not cooling on either side. I called LG direct many times, always getting the runaround. I was given 2 numbers of repair services in my area. I called these numbers 2 days in a row and left messages, with no response. Every service repair company I called in my area said they are not authorized to work on LG sealed system or compressor, since they are under warranty. HomeAdvisor sent a service repair out from SC, Im in NC, 30 minutes and $75 dollars later, I was told it would cost a minimum of $500.00 in labor to fix the problem and maybe parts, since LG customer service is so hard to deal with, like I didnt already know. Repair would need to replace compressor and sealed system and blowing out lines with very expensive gas. I was told parts are still under warranty by LG Direct, but could take 7-10 days to ship out, who knows how long it would take to get them??? Ive lost hundreds in food. My repairman basically told me to go bUy a new refrigerator, he said 85% of the refrigerators they work on are LG, and recommended Whirlpool, Kitchen Aid and/or Maytag as replacements. Very upset that they do not stand behind their products and their customer service has A LOT to desire. Do not buy LG unless you have money to throw away. Im a single mom and this has cut way into our budget. $1600.00 down the drain!!! We had hopes to go on vacation this year, but thanks to LG that wont be happening, having to buy another fridge in such a short period of time, has taken that out of the budget.
I have the same experience with my machine. Just after 1 yr, the washer will spin & refill for hours repeating the same cycles. The machine starts at 57 min. wash 9 normal load, cottons) but after an hour is still spinning, draining & refilling. The first time I noticed this, it was spinning for over 3 hrs. until I stopped it. Not only that, the clothes come out about as dirty as they went in. The machine is a huge disappointment.

I just purchased fridge 12/2014 and had 5 repairs. Fridge freezes, touch screen computer freezes, freezer defrosts. LG refused refund. I spent more than $2400. Customer service worst. Wont transfer to manager. They just try place band aid to cover repairs while warranty expires. Waste of money I spend so much on raw food causes by malfunction and inconvenience missing work meeting with technician. Repair visits for malfunction analysis are separate than when replace parts. Not done at same time. Worst purchase ever...
Mi mujer y yo compramos una cocina de gas LG (modelo LRG3081ST) y descubrimos que cocinaba demasiado los alimentos. Al probarla, descubr√≠ que la cocina se sobrecalienta durante el ciclo de precalentamiento. Despu√©s de ajustar la temperatura de horneado se puede ver c√≥mo el term√≥metro aumenta 5 grados cada 6 o 7 segundos. Cuando el term√≥metro alcanza 5 grados por debajo de la temperatura fijada, permanece con esa indicaci√≥n durante unos 2 minutos mientras el horno sigue calent√°ndose. Cuando suena la notificaci√≥n de precalentamiento, la temperatura de precalentamiento es de unos 100 grados por encima de la temperatura establecida.Abr√≠ un caso con LG y enviaron un t√©cnico de reparaci√≥n para ver el horno. El t√©cnico confirm√≥ el problema e intent√≥ pedir una placa de control de repuesto. LG le dijo que ese era el modo en que se supone que funciona el horno y no le permiti√≥ pedir la nueva placa. Ahora he presentado una reclamaci√≥n al cliente, pero no tengo ni idea de si alguien har√° alg√ļn cambio. No puedo imaginar que LG haya dise√Īado un horno que se supone que se sobrecalienta 100 grados. Nuestra resoluci√≥n actual es establecer la temperatura de cocci√≥n, pasar por el ciclo de precalentamiento, dejar que el horno se quede hasta que se vuelva a encender para mantener la temperatura de cocci√≥n establecida, y luego poner la comida en el horno. Esto no es aceptable.

Hemos tenido que llamar al t√©cnico tres veces para que venga a verlo porque funciona muy fuerte. Compramos el producto porque era s√ļper silencioso y nuestra cocina est√° cerca de nuestra sala de estar y dormitorio. Te despertar√° por la noche. Funciona con ruidos de vibraci√≥n, zumbidos, etc. y la soluci√≥n de LG es enviar un correo electr√≥nico con ruidos aceptables del frigor√≠fico. We brought an LG french door refrigerator model LMX28987 ST on September 9 2009. Jan 2010 the right side bin of the fridge door started to crack so we had to call customer service to get a replacement. A few months after that the top freezer door would not close shut, with ice forming around the edges. We called customer service to help us with this situation but all they told us was that they could not help us because our warranty expired. We asked to buy one right away but they said they count not extend it because it has already been over a year... so ridiculous. Now we have to pay for the damages of this fridge with the money in our own pockets when the company could not even build a fridge that can last us more than 2 years. Horrible customer service. I wouldnt even buy a single product from them again. Cheap materials that break so easily. Life is not good with LG products in the house.
LG True Balance washing machine - We purchased this machine brand new and was told it was top of the line in terms of quality and capacity. It was also at the top end of pricing. We have been dissatisfied in every way. It takes hours to complete a wash cycle and the only chance you stand of getting through a wash cycle without machine stopping every 10 minutes and showing an error code is if you wash like items, ie only towels or only jeans... and then you still often times have to reposition at least once. Many times I cant get the load to finish and have had to remove and wring out by hand soaked and dripping items from machine. We have balanced it every way possible and done all recommended troubleshooting. Techs say just wash like items... not realistic to wash that many separate loads. Would love to hear if anyone has figured out how to fix this issue.
I really like my LG washer. It‚€ôs fairly large, I can fit 15-20 of my largest towels and still have room for washcloths and hand towels. It‚€ôs very quiet as well. Lots of features and settings for example, setting for towels, cottons, perm press, delicate, and bulky items. There is also a setting to sterilize items. Very happy so far with my washer.

Para cuando consegu√≠ una reparaci√≥n, la lavadora estaba completamente agarrotada y no se pod√≠a reparar. La lavadora se ha ido hoy al vertedero. Un correo electr√≥nico enviado al vicepresidente del servicio en Canad√° hace cuatro d√≠as ni siquiera ha sido acusado de recibo. Una atenci√≥n al cliente absolutamente deplorable y m√°s agravante de lo que merece la pena.
The easy clean oven feature is useless even if used weekly! Would advise everyone to save their money and avoid purchasing this appliance. I am so sorry I didn‚€ôt read reviews prior to my purchase. Surfaces especially on the sides of the oven are not cleaned. Even the scraper does not help because difficult to use on sides of oven where racks are. Can‚€ôt use easy off to help because of cleaning instructions. Just a terrible purchase.

Hoy he sacado la puerta y he descubierto que el conjunto de la puerta consiste en un muelle de alta resistencia unido a un trozo de cuerda de persiana veneciana que va sobre una peque√Īa polea de pl√°stico. El cord√≥n se hab√≠a roto (ver foto). La siguiente hora la pas√© discutiendo con un representante del servicio de atenci√≥n al cliente y un supervisor porque me negaba a pagar para que un t√©cnico me dijera qu√© pieza necesitaba y me cobrara la instalaci√≥n. Finalmente me dieron un n√ļmero de tel√©fono de una empresa de piezas a la que pod√≠a pedir la parte del cable del montaje. En 2006, compr√© un paquete de 4 electrodom√©sticos. La estufa y el refrigerador fueron reparados por problemas de riesgo de incendio dentro de los primeros 6 a√Īos. Los productos LG no est√°n hechos para durar.
Me encanta esta secadora. Me gusta la flexibilidad de introducir la temperatura y la duraci√≥n del ciclo o simplemente elegir un ciclo preestablecido. Pero tarda un poco en ver qu√© ciclo preestablecido funcionar√°. Por ejemplo, secar s√°banas en el ciclo normal no va a funcionar. Selecciono el ciclo voluminoso y hace el trabajo. Tenemos esta m√°quina desde hace unos tres a√Īos y no hemos tenido ning√ļn problema.
No se puede pedir m√°s. El panel de control es f√°cil de entender y utilizar. La cantidad de ropa que lava es enorme comparada con la que ten√≠a antes. Ten√≠a una lavadora de carga frontal Bosch y s√≥lo lavaba la mitad de la cantidad de ropa y a√ļn as√≠ no limpiaba bien. No me di cuenta de la falta de limpieza de mi ropa hasta que us√© la LG. La secadora a juego es s√ļper eficiente √©l ropa m√°s r√°pido y con menos arrugas. Nunca hab√≠a utilizado productos LG. Me alegro de haberlo hecho. Ahora que me voy a mudar a otra casa, estoy mirando a LG para todas mis necesidades de electrodom√©sticos de cocina y me voy a llevar mi lavadora y secadora.
Bought LG double door refrigerator about 2 years ago. The drawer broke after 6 months. Called for replacement part. Paid $50 for a new drawer. It didnt fit. Was the wrong one. Called LG. They said they dont make a replacement drawer for my model and they sent me the closest one which doesnt fit because its not for my refrigerator. They did refund my money and I now use the old drawer with duct tape. And dont even get me started on the ice maker. The LG refrigerators look nice but are made very poorly. And if you are looking for service and support after you buy and something goes wrong, dont purchase LG.
I bought a new LG dryer, September 24, 2020, from my local best buy. I also purchased the 5 year extended warranty. Fast forward to beginning of march 2021: my new dryer stopped working, gave me an error code. Because it was just over 5 months after purchase, i had to file a claim with lg. So, i call the lg warranty phone number and was told that there werent any technicians in my area that could service my dryer and they would look at third party techs. 4 months pass and finally someone comes out in June, 2021. He states that LG dryers have ongoing issues with their thermal fuses. He didnt have the right part with him and said he had to order it and would call to set an appointment when the part came in. About a week had passed and I called the technician, I was told the part was on backorder but i had a date of repair, July 17 2021. Tech showed up for the appointment and He replaced the fuse and the dryer worked again. 13 days later on July 30 2021, my dryer stopped working again and I received the same error code.I called the warranty department back and was told that they would contact me in 10 business days, as they had to look for someone to service the dryer. 10 days passed and they never called, after about a month, i called them. I was told that they were having a hard time trying to find someone to come out to fix their appliance. I asked them if they could send the last tech back out. The rep agreed and stated I would be called back. No one called. So I called again, this time I was told that my dryer was a lemon and i needed to wait for a phone call from another department, and was guaranteed i would hear from someone in 3 days. Another weeks passed and I called again, now each time I call, I am given a ticket number, I was told this time that nothing could be done. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that there were none on staff, and then was told that they couldnt patch me through to someone else... After about and hour of this crap I was told the supervisor would call me back, again. No call ( surprise surprise). I keep trying to get through to someone at LG, still having no luck and its now passing the 1 year manufacturer warranty and my time is running out to have this thing fixed, again.Lg just kept giving me one shit poor excuse after another and finally i gave up when i wad told youre outside of the 12 month manufacturer warranty, theres nothing we can do, maam . So, I called Best Buy. I explained the situation and all the bs i was going through with LG and the rep told me that LG has been having a lot of issues and they would take care of me. That was September 2021. No one has come out. My dryer is still broken.I took it upon myself and contacted the original technician and asked if he could come back out to replace the fuse again. He was able to put a repair ticket in with LG because my appliance broke a few months before the 12 month warranty ended. He came out toward the end of October 2021. He checked the fuse, because the error code the dryer was showing indicated it was the fuse, again. It wasnt, the fuse was fine. Turns out, according to the tech, I need a new wire harness and maybe a new computer? He wasnt sure, so he was placing an order for both and would call with an appointment. Its now December and the technician hasnt been back, after multiple phone calls I was finally told that the parts needed were on backorder and he wasnt sure when they would be in.I called Best Buy again today and explained the situation, again, and was told when ordering parts the company has so much time to fill the order, after that date has passed we (Best Buy) consider the appliance a total loss and she was going to transfer us to another department to get it all sorted. New department said that the technician has to come out and put it in his/her notes that it can not be fixed or is not worth fixing. Then and only then can the dryer be considered a total loss, and then they will replace my dryer with a new one.. another LG. I explained, in the nicest way possible, I do not want another LG appliance. I bought this one brand new just over a year ago, Ive been able to use it maybe 6 months total. I have had nothing but issues with the dryer and the companys customer service. I have 4 children ( ages 15, 6,3 and 2),we need a working dryer. We need something reliable. I would much rather have them take this junk out of my house and refund my money. It has been called a lemon many times, not only by best buy reps but also 2 reps that work for LG. Its a massive inconvenience to have to bring laundry to a laundromat everyday to have it dried.. I get 27 minutes of drying time for $1.50. Because I am potty training 2 toddlers, have 2 in school and my partner is an ironworker, we do a lot of wash. I spend between $10 and $15 every 2 days at the laundromat and about $20-$30 a week in gas to go back and forth to the laundromat. Thats A LOT of money to be dishing out because LG doesnt stand by their products. Money that could have gone on a couple new appliances, bills etc. She, the CSR, said she was transferring me to the lemon claims department. The man I spoke to basically told me that unless i file a civil claim against the company and a technician says that I have a faulty dryer, the only thing they ( best buy) can do is replace my dryer with a used LG dryer of comparable value. Which this dryer now isnt worth a damn thing. I am so annoyed with LG. Im annoyed at the fact that i spent almost a grand on something that LG says would last 10-15 YEARS. it didnt even last 6 months!Now i have to waste more time on monday calling LG, best buy and the technician and ask them to email or snail mail me all the paperwork and notes for the last year, so i can bring it all to my attorney. I have had enough of that company and their appliances. I will never purchase another product with the LG logo.

T√≠o, ojal√° hubi√©ramos pagado por unas rejillas nuevas para nuestra vieja KitchenAid. Mi presi√≥n sangu√≠nea aumenta cada vez que cargo este cutre lavavajillas LG. Las p√ļas est√°n mal ubicadas, ¬Ņqu√© pasa con la gran zona de la rejilla inferior que no tiene p√ļas? Debido al dise√Īo de la rejilla y de las p√ļas, se puede meter un 20% menos de platos en esta cosa. Luego funciona eternamente pero eso es parte de todos los lavavajillas nuevos. Me gusta como los sitios dicen que hay que dejar correr el agua primero para que el agua est√© caliente. S√≠, el KitchenAid calienta el agua mucho mejor. I am very pleased with this refrigerator. The capacity is excellent as well as the many adjustable shelves. It is great in appearance and is easy to maintain. I change the filter as required and assure all maintenance as required.

I purchased this LG French Door 28 cu ft Refrigerator Model # LMX28988SW on 3/10/2011 and was delivered and setup from Best Buy on 3/28/2011. Was told this is the best fridge on the market... It cost almost $2600, but I wanted something that would last. Boy, that sure didnt happen... Not quite 7 years later my freezer and icemaker both stopped working. The ice maker needed replacement just a few months after purchase and now it failed again. Im sure its somehow related to the freezer no longer freezing things. I have an International Harvester refrigerator in my barn that was purchased by my parents in 1950 and it still works fine. How discouraging that this LG fridge has already puked out.

A primera vista, este es un refrigerador impresionante. Se ve bien, tiene mucho espacio y hace hielo como un loco. L√°stima que se haya estropeado 4 veces en otros tantos a√Īos. La primera vez fue porque no estaba bien ventilada. No importa que nuestro Frigidaire que tenemos en el garaje pase por ciclos de invierno y verano sin queja y cueste aproximadamente 1,4 de lo que cost√≥ este. Ok, mi error. Ese al menos estaba cubierto por la garant√≠a. La siguiente vez fue el compresor. Y la vez siguiente, la v√°lvula de agua. This washer is horrible, I hate it. Just like everyone states, I cant run a load of laundry without it constantly adding more water because its uneven. Hate it, will never buy LG again. I think we should be given our money back. 3 years I have dealt with machine. Refund would be nice.

We bought a fridge 15 months ago 8/2013, the ice maker went bad within a year. Now the compressor went out. We did not get an extended warranty since it was new. We paid cash and now they say we cannot buy an extended warranty. Are we stocked without one? Anything else we can do? Thank you for your help.
We rent & the landlady provided this refrigerator when the old, original refrigerator stopped working. I would not buy this refrigerator, but it is not a bad refrigerator. I dislike that the refrigerator looks like stainless steel, but wont hold magnets. I do not like that its side by side style, too, and the ice crusher spits ice at you.
Purchased this unit in Feb. 2011. Eight months later the ice maker quit. LG replaced it. 6 months later it failed again, this time on me. Two months later water supply to ice maker froze and pushed the water line out of the back of the unit, wet floor, ruined ceiling and wall in basement. 4 months later, water solenoid failed in the open position, filled the freezer with water, large block of ice and ruined food. Two weeks ago noticed the freezer was frosting up bad. Found that the freezer fan was not working. Ordered new motor. Upon returning from work this evening the refrigerator was 62 degrees, more ruined food. Called LG, said they had other complaints of the same. Offered to schedule a repairman for me. I think I need a Lemon Crusher.
My Mom purchased an LG freezer on the bottom refrigerator/freezer from Best Buy. This POC has been trouble since month 1 - she has had the unit for 6 plus years and periodically has a tech come out at her expense to blow dry the freezer to un-ice it and get the motor to start running again. Best Buy wont stand behind it and neither will LG... I will never never never never buy an LG anything ever again... Why has no one taken legal action against them?
Horrible, horrible, horrible! Bought my LMXC23746 French door refrigerator in 9/2015, It was scratched during delivery and had to wait nearly 4 month for another. 5/2016 it wasnt staying cold. LG rep walked me through some steps and it worked for about 10 months. Then it happened again, but this time the water also had leaked from the ice maker because it had defrosted and we were out of town. This time they told me to call a repairman and the rep gave me a phone number to call. Long story short, after two repairmen, a new main control board, a new compressor and about $600.00 later, it is now 9/2017 and yep, problem still exist. Will never buy LG again. I would sign up for a class action suit for sure if there is one.
I have experienced the same as all the other consumers with their LG refrigerator pooping out after only a few years. I too am doing the waiting game for having my compressor fixed. I too have thrown out hundreds of dollars in food. All that frozen unfrozen meat right in the garbage. All the water from the ice maker going into my grout. Trying to find somebody to loan you a spare refrigerator. What I worry about now... is even using it after its fixed because what it sounds like is all these people are getting it fixed only to have it fart out and go through the same thing a month later. Im sad because I really love LG..Loved LG. I just bought a brand spanking new LG washer and dryer. Should I worry about that also?

Customer service quality and procedures when something breaks needs to be one of the most important considerations when choosing who to buy an appliance from these days, especially an expensive refrigerator that is not built to last despite claims that it is, but for a higher purchase price. It was important enough to me that I was willing to pay more upfront. $2800 more. Things break, design flaws happen. That is not as concerning to me as what a company does to their customers when it comes time to make it right, and how they make it right. Regardless if they have fixed their linear compressor problems, it is not worth buying LG refrigerators. Or any other product as far as I‚€ôm concerned, given what they are presently putting us through and how little they are compensating for our losses.I‚€ôll be shocked if this doesn‚€ôt cost them dearly in customers and loyalty. It certainly has turned my 18 and 22 year old sons off after watching what we are going through since July. That‚€ôs future business right there that they screwed up. Not to mention my failing double oven, dryer, and dishwasher which need replacing soon. And where there is one there are hundreds or thousands more. That‚€ôs a lot of exponential word of mouth.LG is losing all that future business for what? To save a buck on repairs now by forcing customers to use their preferred 1-star rating repair servicer even if they repaired it once already and it failed? To avoid doing the right thing by reimbursing their customers for full damages and losses fully caused by their part failures as well as their repair failures? That choice alone about customer service reflects poorly on the business smarts of a company, which in turn affects reliability. If you ever have a warranty repair with your LG products, you are at risk of what is happening to us right now. Are you willing to gamble for that much money? We bought our LG French Door refrigerator Thanksgiving 2016 for $2800. Chose LG because of reputation, longevity claims about the model, and their description of great customer service should something go wrong. We thought it was worth the expense. The linear compressor failed after 3-1/2 years in July. We had to wait 2-1/2 weeks before their ‚€úauthorized repair servicer‚€Ě got here to repair it. We bought a larger mini fridge and still lost well over $300 of food. Their servicer did not call us to first diagnose or ascertain what parts might be needed. They simply showed up and assumed they only needed to swap out a compressor.LG bottlenecked their quality before they got here by only authorizing a maximum of $505 including labor, regardless that neither of them knew for sure what all needed to be checked and repaired. They set us up for failure. Their preferred provider didn‚€ôt even look for leaks in hoses that might have caused the compressor to fail to begin with, so if there was one it‚€ôs still there! They did not replace all the other covered parts that are supposed to be replaced with this repair, such as evaporators, hoses, etc. Two weeks after the repair we spent $450 on groceries believing it was safe to now restock. Two days later it broke again. My dealings with customer service since have been unacceptable. I have been patient and understanding about all the extremely long hold times given Covid, (1 hour and 17 minutes on hold this morning before the exec division picked up,) but not understanding about forcing their customers to have to retell all of the specifics of their circumstances dozens of times to each new agent that picks up, treating them like a first time caller, before anyone finally understands again how egregious the case has been handled thus far. And when they finally do they have no power to ensure it won‚€ôt continue to happen. Wash, rinse, repeat.There are too many cooks in the kitchen and all the departments that have to be involved are isolated and cut off from the other so the agents can never prevent anything from going wrong again or have influence over final decisions. There is no quality control in LG‚€ôs customer service. Their executive services group can‚€ôt directly talk to someone in the authorization department to ensure everyone is on the same page so they stop sabotaging what was agreed to. They have no true escalation capabilities and if they do they are highly ineffective. I believe this is purposeful when it comes to these refrigerators. The first agent this time around said our case was escalated since we just went through this. That didn‚€ôt mean squat in the end. It has been dealt with worse than the first time and has followed the same channels as a first time repair. He said dispatch would be calling me directly this time 3-4 days from our call to lessen the amount of time we were without our fridge again. That was August 22 and today 2-1/2 weeks later we are still without a working fridge. No one called. I had to start all over from the top when I called back. They tried to resend the same incompetent repair company as last month and ignored our request to send a different one that would approach it properly this time and give us confidence we wouldn‚€ôt be put through this again next month. It‚€ôs exhausting to pull everything out again, set up coolers and ice and check safety of food every day. Their preferred service provider in our area was going to be at least 2 more weeks out. LG blamed Covid saying it has impacted the availability of servicers in our area. The truth was LG directly prevented a timely and proper repair we had access to; it was not a problem with availability of servicers in our area, it was a problem of a company only wanting to use a one-star servicer that they can successfully under compensate, regardless that the repair company cuts corners and does inferior work to make it worth what LG pays.We asked LG why we couldn‚€ôt find our own repair company nearby who could get here sooner than 2 weeks. They told us if we could find someone sooner they would gladly email them the authorization, because they can‚€ôt find anyone else. All they can see is their authorized 1-star servicer. We had a 5-star service nearby standing in my kitchen the very next day! And they had done a lot of warranty work for LG before so we were delighted with having found them.They diagnosed the fridge thoroughly first, and in person, recognized that the compressor was not installed correctly and not all parts were properly replaced. Due to this we had oil leaking all over the place creating new repair problems. We called LG back and provided all the contact info they requested. They called our chosen repair co. that same day too and told both of us they would submit a request for authorization and they should have it in the next 24-48 hours. Our repair would be done in under three days. Instead, we got a text and email the next day that their 1-star servicer has accepted our repair request and would be there 12 days later.We called immediately and complained we had someone sooner and did not want the same company, and our case was escalated again. The executive group agent said she saw what happened, the wrong department got the request and ignored the notes in our account and on the request. She canceled their servicer and personally emailed the department directly with the info for the repair company we found, highlighting they were available immediately to do the repair and they have done warranty work for them before.Two days later we get another text/email that the 1-star company happily accepted our request again. I called LG again and the new exec agent listened to all that had happened prior and understood my rage, and told me they were having problems with the authorization department and she had no power to ensure it wouldn‚€ôt keep happening this way, but she did have the power to submit a request for a full refund. She had me upload a receipt and confirmed it was received and valid. She would send the request for an auth to our chosen servicer one more time and would call me two days later to see if they had received the authorization. If not she would go through with the refund request. Instead, I get several texts from LG‚€ôs chosen servicer all weekend long reminding us they were coming. However, in the past two weeks that servicer did not once call us to get information to determine what parts might be needed, which confirmed for us that if we let them into our home it was going to be handled sloppily like the first time they did the repair. We are sick of what we‚€ôve had to go through living out of a mini fridge for almost two months. For a family of five with adult kids? We want to feel confident it‚€ôs done right this time. What LG did that was unethical was agree that if we could find someone sooner they would send an authorization, and then they repeatedly hosed that authorization and every subsequent request for one over the next two weeks to buy time until the A&E appointment was just around the corner. They ignored our valid concerns and discomfort of having this company do the repair again. It‚€ôs not like we chose a servicer that never did LG warranty work before. There is no excuse for putting us through this hell. Call several appliance repair companies in your area before you commit to buying anything. They know what brands and products are easiest to fix and have the least hassles with warranty repairs, and which are reliable. All the other repair companies we initially called said the same thing: ‚€úwe no longer do LG repairs‚€Ě and if you ask why they all tell you the same thing, ‚€úit‚€ôs because LG under-compensates true costs and undermines their efforts to do quality work. And it‚€ôs too much of a headache to deal with their customer service. It‚€ôs just not worth it given the amount of time we would have to put into dealing with them.‚€ĚI wish I would have called them before choosing an LG fridge, because I never would have purchased it. But this is the real reason LG has a hard time finding an available service provider in your area. And when you find your own? They sabotage it. All to save a buck? How is two or three under compensated repairs in a row cheaper than one done right the first time at a fair price for the actual time required to do a proper job? It can only serve to hurt your customer for unnecessary and unreasonable lengths of time and kills all future business, and word of mouth compounds that. I was also told today there is no guarantee the refund will be approved. They look at how many times it‚€ôs been repaired in deciding too! The fact that they were interfering with the repairs, and they failed to let us have a timely and proper one that we had standing right there two weeks ago is not taken into account. If they deny our refund, they will simply reschedule their shoddy servicer all over again. At this point the right thing to do is approve a full refund. My husband is paid hourly and his company is about to be impacted by Covid so he will lose hours pay in the near future. We have to use our scant emergency fund to pay for a reliable refrigerator repair, about $1200-$1400 after the botched repair, or buy a new one. And not having that emergency money is going to hurt us when my husband‚€ôs hours are reduced. We cannot tolerate more weeks Iiving like this and never should have had to when we had a reliable repair company standing in our kitchen two weeks ago!To add insult to injury, LG has taken forever to approve our food loss and mini fridge reimbursement requests from July. Several reps quoted from our account that they saw the mini fridge reimbursement was officially approved on August 12 but there was no notes about the food loss. We were told this for the following two weeks every time we called. Then today, the rep said the notes showed it wasn‚€ôt approved until September. Somebody changed the notes. We were also told that we couldn‚€ôt have both a food loss reimbursement and a mini fridge reimbursement. They only allow one $250 reimbursement per calendar year, regardless if they caused you way more losses.We lost well over $500 of food so far plus paid $260+ for a mini fridge. We can‚€ôt even claim food loss this time around even though their repair failed and we properly waited a couple weeks after the repair to make sure it was good before shopping again. Customers can be out $750-$1,000 due to LG‚€ôs own mistakes, and only get reimbursed for $250 of it all while they go through hell with customer service. LG does not care about you as a customer or any impact they have had on you or the domino effect. Now, is all this worth buying their $2800 refrigerator? Absolutely not.
This is a review of the LG customer service experience for a repair of an LFXS29626S French Door refrigerator. We woke up Christmas morning to find the 3yr old refrigerator was no longer cooling at all. Reviewing the warranty showed that the sealed system was still covered, so I placed a call to LG customer service. While the customer service phone rep was quite friendly/understanding and professional, thats where the enjoyable experience ended. Net-net is that after 4 months and 5 separate repair visits from 2 separate 3rd party repair shops, many phone calls, much lost time and spoiled food, the unit is still not functioning as expected. The unit was cooling properly after the 4th visit, but now the unit sounded like a leaf blower all the time. The final fix was more of a hack that only partially addressed the noise issue, but they say that it falls within spec tolerance.I called LG and requested escalation. Upon speaking to the escalation manager, I requested that they replace the unit since it was not actually fixed. She was very firm that the company had a process that must be followed and that they would not replace the unit. They offered a minimal reimbursement for the spoiled food, which would nowhere near cover all that we had lost. Either way, we have not received any reimbursement. At this point were going to put the unit in the garage and purchase another refrigerator - something other than LG. The thing that the company (especially the escalation manager) didnt seem to grasp was the concept of total customer value. Not only will this experience keep me from buying LG refrigerators in the future, but since they also sell everything from washers/dryers, to TVs, to cell phones, I will look elsewhere for many products. The marginal cost for them to simply replace the refrigerator would probably have been around $600, but instead they likely spent more than twice that on parts and 3rd party repair services. When you add that to the future lost revenue it was simply a bad business decision that could have been properly remedied in order to keep an affluent customer.
Another complaint about the plastic knobs that break and have gas leaks. I have other people in my home that use my stove and they arent aware if the knob is all the way off. Gas leaks that can lead to death! LG is doing nothing about it.
The LG refrigerator has beautiful design inside and outside. Very well lit. No problem except it made a low noise every 15 minutes which was fixed by the stores repair section.
We purchased an LG fridge in November. Soon we noticed water puddling on top of the freezer door (bottom freezer model). Then we noticed that the water was freezing on the outside of the ice maker bucket, and that the ice cubes were melting then freezing together. When we used a blowdryer to melt some of the ice so we could remove the ice bucket, the melted water ran out, not from the dispenser as we would expect, but from all the seams in the door. On February 9th, I sent in a repair request. The provider I was given (which took a couple of days to receive) was unprofessional and after giving my address, told me they had no availability in my area and to find someone else and hung up. On February 14th, I received two more service providers contact info. One of them never answered my repeated calls. The other one informed me that they only serviced a neighboring county. Around February 21, I received another service providers contact info, and a service appointment was set up for March 1, between 8 am and noon. I took the morning off work. When the technician had not arrived by 12:30, I called the service provider who said they would contact the technician and get back to me. I was called back in a few minutes and was told the technician was stuck in traffic and would be at my home by 1 pm. At 1:15, he had still not arrived and I called the service again. She said she would call him again and get back to me. This time when she called back, she said he did not answer his phone and she that she left him a voicemail. When he finally showed up, around 2:30, he said that he had been running a little behind. After looking at the ice maker, he told me this was a common problem with this model of fridge and we would need a whole new door, which might or might not fix the problem, and someone would be in touch with me within 24 hours to set up an installation date and time. Nine days later, I got the call and an appointment was scheduled for March 13th, again between 8 am and noon. Again, I took the morning off work. Again, the technician did not arrive till after 2 pm. He did install a new door, said we were all set and left. And now the ice maker does not work at all. So far, Ive missed two days work, dealt with 4 incompetent and unprofessional service providers authorized by LG. Ive read many reviews praising LG products, but frankly all the reviews for their customer service are very negative (wishing we had checked those out and not just the product reviews when we purchased the appliances in November).

Our upside down fridge has been tremendous with inky 2 exceptions. The door trays are too flimsy, even though I do not load them with too heavy items. The freezer baskets allow things to fall through or get caught. The baskets need to be of a solid material and not open weave.

Four weeks ago, my LFX25960SW LG Refrigerator displayed an ER dH error code on the front door panel. All of my food was warm and the fridge was not cooling. I called LG (what a circle jerk) and was referred to A&E Service. I called and was told that I would have to wait a week for someone to come out. He came out and said that it was the bimetal heater, which he doesnt carry in his truck and would have to be ordered. It was shipped to my house in 4 days. I had to wait another week for the serviceman to come back. He took off the old one and put the new one in, but when my husband checked the part he took off, it was working. The serviceman said that it might be the circuit board, and that he would order it. A few hours after he left, the error code came back and the fridge was warm again.I wasnt confident that the part was ordered, so I called LG myself to order it and found out that the serviceman hadnt ordered the part. It came 5 days later but we had to wait another week for the serviceman to come back. He put in the new circuit board but within 5 hours after he left, the error code was back and the fridge was warm again. Luckily, we had a small fridge in the garage; but it was getting pretty annoying humping bags of food back and forth. I just called LG again today and was told that they would call A&E and look into the matter, and call me back. As of yet, there has been no phone calls. I guess its going to be another day of waiting for the phone to ring. The time Ive wasted on the phone with LG and A&E and on waiting for the repairman have been very frustrating, and my fridge still doesnt work.I live in Missouri and actually called a repairman I know in Chicago. He told me that he doesnt even work on LG because you cant get parts and theyre nothing but junk. I wish I had known before I bought this high priced piece of crap. I will never buy an LG product again. They do not stand behind their product. Once its bought, youre on your own.
Ive had the top loading high efficiency washer for about a year and it is truly the worst purchase Ive ever made. Im almost inclined to buy a new washer and chalk up an expensive loss for the sake of my own sanity. The washer gives a UE (uneven load?) error on a fairly regular basis. This stops the already very long cycle and makes me have to reset things to finish the load. Most wash cycles take over 90 minutes. Even just a spin-only cycle is 13 minutes and it will sit weighing the load or something stupid and useless for 5 minutes before one even starts to hear it spin. The only good thing is the large size of the tub. Overall, this washer is horrible.
I purchased my LG refrigerator in June 2017 and 3 weeks ago the compressor failed. After a few hours of talking with LG they agreed to send out a repair person to assess the issue. A&E is the only authorized repair in my area that can work on a sealed compressor so an appointment was set for 2 days after my initial call. The repair person let me know that this is a known issue with the LG refrigerators and that even with replacement I might only get another year out of this fridge. LG finally agreed to a one time compressor replacement and A&E ordered the parts. The parts never arrived and instead of re-ordering what was the initial order, A&E insisted that they would have to come back out to my home before they could re-order the parts. They appoint was another 2 days out. When they arrived, they confirmed the parts that needed to be ordered, rescheduled an appointment for August 28 and again ordered, 2019 the parts which arrived 5 days later. The new Super Compressor according the A&E was installed on August 28, 2019 and we were told to wait 24 hours for the appropriate cooling. Since this install my freezer still has not gotten cold, the fridge now will fluctuate from 20 degrees to 56 degrees and now the panel is showing an error code. I am now waiting for A&E to come on Sept 3, 2019 to look at the fridge again. Both LG and A&E only have call centers with trained staff to restate that they are sorry for the inconvenience and nothing more. I am on the verge of 4 weeks without a refrigerator with no end in sight. I based my purchase on the Consumer Reports magazine and website that touted the LG fridge performance and reliability. As a consumer I feel that I have been duped and am potentially looking at investing more money for a refrigerator that works. I would never buy an LG product again after this experience knowing that this was a known issue and LG kept selling their product with the same faulty compressor.

I bought my LG Top Load Washer 5101 in March. Within a few days, I noticed scratches on the lid. I have no kids, no cats, nothing rough that I put on the lid. I called LG and they acted surprised that such a thing could happen. I asked for a new lid but they refused. So I returned the machine to Best Buy and got another one (I really liked how it cleaned). Its now August and even though Ive been super careful and have only put a plastic laundry basket on the lid, the strip closest to the glass has scratches all over it (and no, I dont have any mice).I was going to buy the matching dryer but now hesitate. I would love to be in contact with the woman who said her problems were cosmetic, too.
LG French Door Refrigerator LMXS30776S. Loud noise, sounded like a fan or something. Called LG, out of warranty repair. Charged me $135 to schedule an appointment. Had a morning appt. Tech arrived in the afternoon. He seemed to be guessing at what was wrong. Started taking apart the bottom freezer drawers. Asked for a hair dryer, and said since he was new he didnt have a steamer. Finally left without repair and the freezer drawer off the track. Worst service ever. Never will I buy an LG product again.
I like the ice machine and able to adjust the temperature to your liking, also how it is long-lasting and always keeps things cold. Also you never have to worry about food going bad because it keeps everything super cold. What would improve the refrigerator if it came in more colors and a wider variety of ice textures to fit everybodys personal needs and also wish it had a ice cream maker to make ice cream or ice pops or another cool thing would be a coffee maker button to make coffee of any kind you want. It has been my expectations, a 10 out of 10 and it was on sale and most importantly it was recommended to me by my friends. I have no regrets purchasing this item. I love it and I will have it for many many more years to come.
Im repeating what the others have said. The knobs of the LG 5-burner stove have broken a number of times and have also been accidentally turned on, only to fill the house with gas. I am afraid to go out and leave my animals in the house and check and recheck before I leave each time and I worry until I get back home.
