What an awful experience it is getting service from LG, they are the worst Ive encountered. My $2000 LG fridge stopped working July 4th and it was stuffed with food the technician who came said he could repair the fridge so he would have it taken away. He made up a story about why he couldnt fix it but most likely he didnt know. The fridge is 3 years old and so he charged me for the collection and now he says its the compressor. The 10-year warranty doesnt appear to apply to whats wrong and he says that LG dont have a compressor to supply him? Ive lost my fridge all the food and I have no respect for LG. I called their marketing department but the lady answering the phone hung up on me after I called to complain. Great customer relations LG.

I contacted LG this morning and spent three hours on the phone with them. They did several diagnostic tests over the phone. They offered nothing. They did try to set me up with a local repairman and could not find one. We contacted Home Depot on our own and paid $97 for their diagnostician to come out. His price for repairs is the $700 mentioned above for a washing machine clutch and assembly as well as the dryer vent blower. These are both minor repairs and will still have this gross total to fix. Will never purchase LG again and plan to discourage others from buying as well. If there is anything I can do to further contact LG, please let me know. I have sent an email to their customer service dept following my phone call with customer service and diagnostics this morning.

Bought the LG French Door refrigerator in July 2013 after researching and review customer reviews. Last week, we noticed the bottom freezer was working and the food was thawing. The next day, we called a local repair company to come take a look at the refrigerator who came over a day later. At that point, the freezer was not working and the refrigerator was barely cool. All the food stored in both sections had to be thrown away. We were told it was the compressor and immediately called LG helpline. We were advised that LG would replace the compressor but we would have to pay the service charge. The LG representatives tried to make an appointment but got errors. They gave us 3 service companies to call and make an appointment to repair our refrigerator. None of the 3 will come to our area (we are outside of Las Vegas, NV). The only exception was 1 company but we would have to pay travel time back and forth. This would amount to around 900.00 which included parts. We declined their offer. It is totally unacceptable that a refrigerator that we paid around 2200.00 is now unusable. We now have to buy another refrigerator, wait at least a week for delivery while in the mean time use a cooler filled with ice to keep essential cold and usable.

We purchased a LG TROMM Washer in Jan. 2007 (WM2487h*M) and we should have known better as we had to trade it out within the first few days of purchase because the water was filling up in the drum after the rinse cycle and the symbol FE was displayed. Luckily, Best Buy exchanged it for a new one without hesitation and it was almost as if they had already been down this path before with several customers. Fast forward less than five years later and the same thing has happened. We just spent $640 on repairs including a new water pump, a new water valve and a new memory board for this hunk of junk of a washer. In hindsight we should have just bought a new machine as the warranties had all expired. The guarantee for the new memory board is for two years supposedly, but we have yet to see paperwork from the registered LG repairman. Although he did state that the new memory board was registered with LG. I guess well just need to keep pressing them on this until we see something in writing.

Estoy muy disgustado de que con este problema conocido LG como una empresa no hizo nada para notificar a los consumidores que compraron estos modelos defectuosos de este problema que es más allá de la reparación.Así que fui en línea para ver si las reclamaciones eran verdaderas acerca de una demanda colectiva y que eran. El último día para presentar una reclamación era el 5 de febrero de 2021. Ya había pasado esa fecha cuando me notificaron que existía tal cosa. Perdí tiempo y mucho dinero en esta situación y podría haber comprado un nuevo refrigerador. It would work for a short time, called back, we had to push buttons to reset. This was extremely difficult as we both have arthritis. Finally on May 2015, they did extend warranty as it was on-going. A new ice maker installed. Lasted approx 3 mos. Called back, offered to send repair but at our expense. $3200 for a new refrigerator for our new home. Ridiculous!!! There has to be a recall on this appliance. We will NEVER purchase LG again!!

Como está fuera de garantía, llamé para pedir una cita para el servicio técnico y me dijeron que el precio que me habían ofrecido dos de sus representantes había subido más de 100 dólares cuando finalmente llegué al departamento que podía programar el servicio. ¿100 dólares en menos de tres minutos? Me dijeron que se debía al impuesto sobre las ventas. Después de volver a llamar, me las arreglé para que el precio volviera a ser el prometido y conseguí una cita para la tarde siguiente. A la mañana siguiente recibí un paquete por correo nocturno. Era la bomba de mi lavavajillas, que había llegado antes de que el técnico pudiera ver la máquina. Evidentemente, LG ha tenido este problema muchas veces antes si conoce el problema antes de que pueda ver el aparato. ¿Por qué no se retiró la pieza defectuosa si el problema es tan común? Hay que evitar esta empresa a toda costa. Te mentirán y harán cualquier cosa para evitar aceptar la responsabilidad de sus productos inútiles. Si hubiera un número negativo de estrellas con el que pudiera calificarlos, lo haría.

Center shelves on refrigerator cracked. Drawers broken. I am at loss as what to make of this substandard refrigerator. I imagine circuit board or sensor broken. Unsuccessful in obtaining any data to move my internal fridge to work, not even taking in consideration the substandard condition of the inside of refrigerator.

The back board went out and freezes and they wont give me another one. Wanted my money back from the first one, they said just try another one or I did five more times. They wont fix it so I have LG coming out to fix it today. Im still making payments on it and just want the new model. The part is on recall. Spent many hours on phone, six hours a day, 4 hours a day and so on. Well, its been a month. Sears has a very mean person in parts. She made me cry. She told me that I was scamming Sears. How the hell am I scamming Sears when they have been all broke last 2 1/2 months? Help. Im so stressed out. Please take my word. La temperatura del horno se disparó el lunes 26 de enero de 2015. Precalenté el horno a 350, coloqué la pizza en la bandeja del horno y la alarma de humo se disparó 5 minutos después. Los controles de la cocina me permitieron apagar el horno y dejar que se enfriara. La pizza se redujo a carbón. Obtuve un termómetro de mi parrilla con un límite superior de temperatura de 600 F y lo colgué de la rejilla del horno LG y puse la temperatura a 350. En 5-7 minutos la temperatura máxima del termómetro fue de 600 grados. Apagué el horno y escuché un ruido agudo detrás del horno seguido por el reloj y todas las otras pantallas LED que se apagaron. El DMM de Bluepoint mostró 0 VAC cuando ambos cables calientes se tocaron (debería haber sido 220 - 240). También mostró 0 VAC cuando cualquiera de los cables calientes tocó el neutro (debería haber sido 120). El disyuntor estaba en posición abierta y ya no se cerraba para completar el circuito. Tomé la tapa del conector de la gama 240 y encontré que ambas patas calientes estaban físicamente fundidas, formando un espacio de 3,16 pulgadas entre el final del cableado y los receptores de los cables del conector (en inglés, hubo un tipo de fallo eléctrico tan repentino y cortocircuito que voló los cables de los terminales en el conector y totalizó mi disyuntor Siemens). Con el Junk LG ahora desconectado, utilicé el DMM para comprobar la continuidad del enchufe de tres puntas mientras todavía estaba conectado a la estufa y tenía un circuito caliente en cortocircuito con el neutro. El cable de la estufa se retiró y con el DMM se comprobó que no había cortocircuito entre los hilos del cable. Envié un correo electrónico a LG y me enviaron un diagrama de cableado completo. Como esta cocina nunca mostró un código de error en ningún momento, retiré la cubierta trasera y la cubierta de la placa de circuito impreso. En la parte trasera de la cocina se observan muchos puntos de decoloración de la pintura, incluyendo la zona de la luz de la estufa, los dos conectores eléctricos secundarios grandes y otras zonas. No tengo intención de jugar con LG en esto por razones de seguridad. Tengo nueva gama Whirlpool viene hoy y estoy a punto de reemplazar 240 conector, el cableado y el interruptor de circuito para nuestra protección. La estufa LG va a ir a un centro de reparación de electrodomésticos local, certificado por LG y de confianza personal. Pediré a esta tienda sin nombre que proporcione a mi abogado los resultados de sus pruebas y diagnósticos junto con las piezas defectuosas. Mi intención es hacer que LG se sienta muy incómodo por vender estos peligrosos aparatos a nosotros como consumidores.

We purchased the LG Bottom Freezer Refrigerator Model #LFX25960ST in May of 2007. 1st issue was the Product Consumer Energy Rating. The Energy Rating LG gave was less than the average energy the fridge used. I receive a check from LG (I think) every quarter to make up the difference in energy used (around $4.00). Next came the ice maker. The ice maker would freeze up and overflow with water or just stopped working all together. The ice dispenser in the door has never crushed Ice the way it should. We had 3 service calls on ice maker issues, 2 of which the ice maker had to be replaced. Still does not crust ice the way it should. I just gave up trying to get it fixed. Then I noticed that the hard wood floors in front of the fridge were starting to warp. Ceiling tiles in basement showed where water had leaked from kitchen above. We pulled down the tiles but were unable to find a leak. We pulled out the fridge and saw where water had wet the sheetrock and floor behind the fridge. Thinking there was a leak in the plumbing behind the fridge we ripped out the sheetrock, finding nothing. We then decided to leave the fridge pulled out to try and determine where the water was coming from. About 30 minutes later, I returned to the kitchen and noticed that water was spewed to the right side of the fridge and all across the dining area, approx. 15. We turned off the water going to the fridge and contacted LG. 2 days later a repairman came in an immediately noticed the warped flooring. He the checked the ice maker and the fridge and found nothing. He turned the water back on and asked me to dispense water from the water/ice dispenser. When I pushed the water dispenser, water, again, shot out all across the kitchen and dining room. The repairman was then able to show us where the line coming from the valve on the fridge to the filter had split. He stated the line was faulty and would have to be replaced. 2 weeks later the repairman returned and replaced the faulty line. LG did pay for fridge repairs and repairs to my floor but nothing for the downtime or aggravation we endured. Then we had issues with the interior light in the fridge. It would stay on even when the fridge was closed. Again we contacted LG for repair. Now after having this fridge for only 7 years, the entire cooling system, fridge and freezer, has gone out, resulting in ruined and sour food. We contacted LG again. My husband spoke with the lady from LG. At one point in the conversation, he told the lady, Im sorry, I know this isnt your fault, but Im very aggravated right now dealing again with this Lemon of a refrigerator. The LG Supervisor then told him I understand your aggravation, but you are just going to get even more aggravated when you hear what I have to say. I cannot help you because the refrigerator is out of warranty. WHAT??? Who says that??? Where is the customer service??? So now Im stuck paying an $85.00 service call plus replacement parts and labor to fix ANOTHER issue with this LG Refrigerator. I am so done with anything LG.

The repair man suggested we run a bleach load first to help kill the smell prior to doing the other loads, or just run it empty with bleach prior to using it. We bought it for its efficiency, not to waste energy! We have reached the end of our rope with this washer and feel it is irresponsible to even give it away due to the health concerns.

I then found pieces of the enamel on the oven floor. I called LG to complain. They asked me to send them pictures of the oven. After emailing them the pictures, they came back, said that it was out of warranty and I did not purchase an extended warranty. Their conclusion was that the chipping was caused by owner neglect. I was fuming since I did not do anything to cause this. I only used the self-cleaner. I asked to speak to someone in a higher position and was told that they were the highest I could go. I preceded to inform them that I would not take that as an answer. I still have the pieces of enamel that came off. I told them that I would be contacting the Better Business Bureau and anyone else I knew to report this and they told me, to go ahead.Im stuck with an appliance that I wonder whether it is safe or not. I have a 10-year old stove whose oven looks 100 times better than this one. Unfortunately, I purchased a LG refrigerator and dish washer to match. I have been dissatisfied with dishwasher since day one, a hard pill to swallow.

La acción del impulsor no mueve la ropa lo suficiente, los niveles de agua no son suficientes para que la suciedad flote y se vaya, y no puede hacer sábanas grandes en absoluto. Cuando hago sábanas tengo que comprobar constantemente y empujarlas bajo el nivel del agua, sin importar el ajuste que utilice. Nunca se sumergen completamente. Normalmente tengo que añadir agua adicional para hackear el peso para que se añada más, incluso después de pulsar el botón de agua extra. Ojalá hubiera conservado mi vieja Maytag y la hubiera reparado.

Si lo haces, hazte un favor y compra la garantía extendida, la necesitarás. Empecé a tener un problema justo después de que el mío saliera de la garantía. Pagué una reparación, unos 150 dólares, y no se solucionó el problema. Entonces tuve una persona de reparación diferente, autorizada por la fábrica, y él reemplazó algunas partes. Vino 3 veces por otros 350 dólares y el problema persistía. No me molesté en llamarle de nuevo, simplemente pensé que podía vivir con el ruido que salía porque la máquina estaba limpiando mis platos muy bien. Sin embargo, anoche volvió a aparecer el mismo código de error que inició todo el asunto. Así que hoy he llamado para hablar con el servicio de atención al consumidor de LG. Una vez más me han dado largas, y el técnico me ha dicho que tenía que hacer algo en la máquina y ver si funcionaba. Le he hecho la puñeta y le he recordado cuánto me he gastado en el lavavajillas de gama alta y cuánto he gastado ya en reparaciones y creo que es una tontería esperar que el consumidor haga algo para intentar arreglarlo. La primera vez que llamé, me hizo ir de un lado a otro buscando destornilladores para poder nivelar un lavavajillas que no necesitaba ser nivelado. Así que le dije que no iba a hacer lo que él quería y que no esperaba tener que pagar otra llamada de servicio para esta máquina de mierda. Quería hablar con su supervisora. Cuando se puso al teléfono, volví a repasar todo el asunto y, por supuesto, las piezas que se sustituyeron ahora no están en garantía, por lo que lo único que podían hacer era sugerirme que llamara de nuevo al técnico y que éste les llamara a ellos para ayudarles a averiguar cuál era el problema. Por supuesto, yo tendría que pagar por todo esto, ya que no queda garantía. Le dije al supervisor que no creo que lo haga. Me iré a comprar otro lavavajillas de otra marca antes de poner más dinero bueno después del malo. Ya me he gastado más de la mitad en reparaciones de lo que pagué por el estúpido aparato en primer lugar.

Well, Ive finally had it with this machine. We bought it & the matching electric dryer from former homeowners when we bought their house. Guess we should have done more research into the plethora of problems these sorry excuse for an appliance really have. These junkers wouldve been out on the road the second we moved in. First, within a month the dryer died. One morning I turned it on & it started smoking, so that was that. Out to the curb! Next, we had been using the LG steam washer for about 4 months & continually noticed water on the floor around it. Never really found where it was coming from other than a drip streak down the side around the detergent drawer where you add the soap/bleach. Another issue was the door lock kept malfunctioning & wouldnt let the load run unless you either slammed the door shut or put pressure on it with your knee when it was trying to lock. Then the thing would sound like a 747 taking off when it was in spin mode. It would shake violently & eventually wake up the baby with its deafening whir. Finally, it showed an error message saying the pump wasnt able to drain the tub because of a clog or something. So I got on my hands & knees to screw open the drain trap & 5 gallons of water came gushing out all over the floor. There is a small rubber hose down there also, but when I took out the plug on the end of it no water drained out. What gives LG? Do you need a wet/dry vac at the ready to do this procedure or a stack of towels so you dont trash the floor? Very poor design! And doing this did absolutely nothing. Same error code came up & the pump just sickly rumbled. So it is now out on the curb also awaiting a trip to the dump where it belongs. Please, everyone, do not buy these piece of refuse appliances from LG. You will only bring upon yourself great pain & grief. Time to break out the old GE top loader that I know works fine. Glad I held onto it for back up. DONT BUY LG!!!

Three week wait just to get a third-party service company to do diagnostics, then the part can be ordered, which has a 3-5 business day turn around time. Multiple service companies refused to do LG service work. The LG service website lists available service providers in the area, but upon contact they all stated they no longer support LG warranty or service work. I will never buy another LG product.

LFX319255T/03 - We read reviews and paid $2500.00 for this LG which is 2 1/2 years old at this point. Within the 1st year the entire electronic panel died and had to be replaced. This was handled under warranty but of course this means losing everything in my refrigerator/freezer twice before it was fixed as well as living without a refrigerator for several days while waiting for service. Then it developed mildew and another service call was necessary. Now it had stopped working again and they are telling us they have no approved service providers in our area to fix it (Cumberland County, NJ). LG had a lawsuit regarding these refrigerators and reimbursed customers for some of their lost food but having new, expensive refrigerator that breaks down every six months seems outrageous! I have a $2500.00 useless refrigerator sitting in my kitchen. LG says we should hear back from them within three days if they can find someone to repair it or we can find someone and give them the name!!! We called three local companies who will not touch repairs that are under warranty. I would avoid this refrigerator unless you like cleaning it out yearly and have checked to make sure you have service providers in this area.Updated on 12/16/2015: We spoke with 17 LG representatives including their Executive Department and 9 appliance service centers. There were originally no service providers in our area and no reputable companies accepted payment directly from LG or wanted to work with them. Long story short, we had to file a small claim action in order to get this resolved but now we are accepting a LG replacement refrigerator which also has reviews of disrepair. I am hoping we have better luck with this product but I would not recommend purchasing any LG product at this point. They were a nightmare to deal with and provide very poor customer service. Since we will need to sign an agreement not to discuss this refrigerator and our experience in order to get a replacement, I wanted to post my experiences prior to agreeing to this settlement. I hope this will help others avoid the same mess.

I purchased this from Costco and concierge tried to have LG come out again. Second technician came and did not do service. They saw the machine spins and machine shook violently with the correct amount of HE detergent used. They then called LG second tier support and when the machine shook the one that was suppose to see it said his video froze. They couldnt stay any longer due to their next appointment and told me that they would report this to. Lied! At this time I have been on the phone with Costco for 15 times and hours or more each time. Distressed and disgusted with the lies blaming the consumer for not using the wrong detergent and claimed they didnt see any shaking. LG then scheduled their in subcontractor to take a look for second opinion, took a day off. They didnt showed up or called for no showed. Costco called and had another subcontractor to come a look. This technician was ethical and did report that this machine shook but LG didnt do anything. 3 months now and they said their machine has no issue when this twin wash washing machine shook horrible. I had them on video that this shook and technician did see it but they refused to look at the videos I recorded! I will never buy any LG products and will discontinued my membership with Costco. This product is the latest line of product with only several months of use. Disappointed for them wasting my time and my money on on this purchase. Oh tech even told me I had to wan socks with socks separated. Pants with pants. Shirts with shirts. These idiots talk to you like you come from the Stone Age. Im in IT and work with software and hardwares. I hope these will eventually blowed up and eventually LG will lose 1 billion dollars due to defective product that they claimed the user is doing it!!! I hope this gets out and be careful on purchasing their products. Im still under warranty but they refused to come and serviced.

For more than a week, the LG customer service representatives have repeatedly made mistakes in a simple request form for an authorization to ship a compressor that was under warranty. As a result, a wedding party is arriving and there will not be a working refrigerator. From failing to get my name and address, to failing to get the address of the service technician correctly (they got that wrong twice), and, finally, when they finally did send out the authorization form it was incorrect, it had the wrong technicians name and address. I called yet again, this was after a full week had gone by, to alert them yet again. They said they had fixed it, emailed a second authorization letter, which did arrive. But it also had the wrong technicians name and address. So I had to call yet again. This time they told me Oooops, this time we had the technicians number wrong. So they again assured me they would have it fixed promptly and resend it. Several hours have gone by, and we still do not have the authorization letter. During this ordeal, two LG customer service representatives promised to call me back to be sure the problems were resolved. Neither did. A third has just asked if she can call me back again. I declined. I am currently on hold waiting to find out the status of our authorization letter. It baffles me that a corporate entity could have any kind of international credibility with a customer service system which is so profoundly incompetent.

I opened the back of the fridge and look around and noticed a fuse looked a little burnt. I got a better light and was sure the fuse had burned out. I didn€t see how to replace the fuse without removing the entire motherboard. I contacted LG and told them what I seen. They stated that they don€t replace the fuse but only replace the entire motherboard and it cost a few hundred dollars. I took it apart, replaced the fuse and now it happened again a few months later. I live alone and don€t really even use the fridge as a large family would. This is a piece of crap I will never buy LG again.

A wire between the main compartment of the oven and the lower warming drawer compartment (inside the oven) arced and the heat melted a hole in the metal at the bottom of the oven. Essentially, the metal was on fire.Fortunately, the house did not burn down. The oven sort of shut itself off, and it did not trip the circuit breaker. It is out of warranty. Ill be calling the Consumer Product Safety Commission and the PA State Attorneys office in an attempt to get this product recalled. It is dangerous.

Thats a long time to wait just to get the appointment. So I called Best Buy since I bought an extended warranty of 5 yrs (glad of that!). They are not allowed to service recall problems. So, today being day four of the five-day wait, I thought Id call the service provider they assigned me to. No answer, but I left a message. I thought what the heck, maybe I should call LG back. Guess what? They made an error, the man said. They never gave the repair facility a phone # to reach me at. Gee, I would think someone would look at the repair order and figure that out! So, here I sit with laundry piling up because I have an inoperable machine. The drum came off! Im just lucky nothing was ruined inside of it when this happened. Im so shocked by this ineptitude. I once had a GE refrigerator go out. I called the company and told them it was maybe four years old. They had two people out to replace the motor the same day. What a difference from LG! Oh, and my LG is three years and four months old. I hear Speed Queen is the best, but I never see it sold anywhere! I would caution everyone to avoid LG!

You have worked hard for your money, dont waste it on LGs products that offer a huge warranty on the motor, but rust out in under a year. Sure, theyre cute, they sing to you, they are curvy where your last washer/dryer was boxy... dont be deceived. In under a year this washer has gone from being the superstar of the house, to a tired shadow of its former self. The bleach dispenser rusted almost immediately and now, the appliance can only be used to wash dark clothes, ones that the rust stains will not show upon. Thats real nice, an $1,100 machine that can only do 1/3 of my wash. Maybe when I replace it - which will be very soon - the motor with its warranty can be re-purposed to drive a pottery wheel. Ultimately, it was designed for it - making everything it touches dirty instead of clean. Skip this washer, the dryer too. Go with Costco. At least there is some semblance of customer satisfaction there AND you neednt speak Tagalog to get it.

Power wave technology will not activate on new washer! New WT5070CW washer arrived. I tried five different cycles and none can produce the powerful jets advertised as LGs Wave Force technology. Technician can only get the wave force action to occur while the washer is in test mode. The Wave Force action appears to be created by centrifugal force of the spinning drum. The drum will not spin fast enough on any cycle to create the wave force action. I am an engineer and it appears that the RPM setting on the motors variable frequency drive is not set high enough to create the wave force action. Hopefully, this is just a software glitch that LG engineers will quickly figure out. I plan on returning quickly if LG does not step up and fix the problem! Is anyone else experiencing this?

Luckily it was covered under warranty so it was free. However, its only been 4 years since the replacement and again the drum bearings are going bad and need to be replaced. I was told that with the direct drive system the bearings had a longer life than previous models. If this is true then the previous models must have only lasted 2 years! We are going to run this one into the ground, spent all that money on it and feel like I might as well get my $$s worth (and it isnt worth fixing at this time.) I will NEVER buy another LG washer (and possibly product) in the future. I feel like the product they produce is low quality at a high quality price. I will be going back to top loader when this one completely fails.

Así que ya hemos esperado seis semanas sin un frigorífico y potencialmente tendremos que esperar otras seis semanas antes de que tengamos un cierre y, honestamente, no soy demasiado optimista basándome en la duración del tiempo y la ambigüedad que cada persona nos da por teléfono. Aunque cada representante del servicio de atención al cliente es agradable, es lamentable que LG no dé autonomía para tomar una decisión, incluso cuando sus propios reparadores han dado su opinión. Después de investigar un poco, descubrí que este es un problema generalizado en LG y posiblemente en otras marcas que utilizan este compresor de tipo lineal. LG conoce el problema y sigue vendiendo este producto. Para empeorar las cosas, están o han estado instalando el mismo tipo de compresor como un reemplazo que probablemente fallará de nuevo en poco tiempo.LG - escucha esto no es un picnic cuando pierdes cientos de dólares de comida. Me gasté más de 3.000 dólares por lo que me hicieron creer que era un frigorífico de alta calidad. Aunque el compresor está en garantía, LG dice que la mano de obra no lo está porque son 5 años y unas pocas semanas, ¿están bromeando? En realidad, se introdujo en el horno a 100 grados por debajo de la temperatura, perdió calor al abrir la puerta y nunca se cocinó lo suficiente. Ahora tengo un medidor interno colgado en el centro del espacio del horno, que tengo que iluminar con una linterna a través de la puerta, para controlar la temperatura. Esta es la tercera vez que he tenido que llamar al servicio técnico y pagar 60 dólares cada vez en mi póliza de garantía de los propietarios. El problema habitual son los quemadores que no se encienden y, en el pasado, sólo se apagaban unos pocos a la vez, dejándome un quemador o dos que funcionaban. Esta vez se han apagado todos y ahora la parrilla tampoco funciona, sólo el horno. Un técnico de servicio dijo que los cables dentro del panel estaban sueltos. No sé cómo ha ocurrido, porque la cocina no se mueve mucho. Otra queja en los primeros seis meses de la compra es un goteo interior entre el cristal doble de la puerta del horno, pero he vivido con el feo lío porque el técnico de servicio no podía arreglarlo sin llevar la gama entera a la tienda durante una semana. Pero esperen... ¡hay más problemas con los productos LG! Los problemas de la puerta del frigorífico lado a lado también me han costado tres llamadas al servicio técnico (60 dólares cada una). El productor de hielo se pone en huelga con frecuencia durante varios meses y luego, por sí solo, vuelve a funcionar. Por supuesto, esto hace que el dispensador de hielo esté constipado y sea totalmente inútil. I purchased a WT5070CW a year ago. This has to be the worst washing machine I have EVER owned. Every load gets off balance. When it gets unbalanced the machine stops. When you adjust the clothes and restart it will get off balance again. It has taken me a full day to wash one load of clothes. Today it took three hours to do one load. If you have a small load (a couple of towels) it takes six or seven tries to get the load done. I dont think it is possible to keep this machine balanced. I paid a lot more for this machine than I planned on spending and am VERY disappointed. I have found several other complaints about the same machine and the same problem. I think this model should be recalled.

I purchased my refrigerator from hhgregg (which is now out of business, my luck) about 4 years ago. Maybe within a month of this huge investment, we started to have issues with the ice machine. We have had service call numerous times over the ice machine, which is quite shocking all for a simple standard feature on a refrigerator. Thank God we were still under warranty for the ice maker replacements, and even still after the repairs, we continued to have issues with the ice machine. After hhgregg went out of business, so did our warranty servicing. Then, about a month ago, the compressor went out. Thinking that LG would stand by their products and offer servicing, that was not the case. From reading past postings, they are completely aware of the problems with the compressor failing on this model. They had a technician come out who confirmed that the compressor went out and to fix would be $$$$ (costly), and offer a 90-day warranty. The technician recommended that it wasn€t worth it and to go with a completely different brand! I was in complete shock! However, I truly appreciated his honesty, since it confirms that LG dont stand behind their products. Such a huge waste of money and disappointment. So, unless you have money to throw away, stay away from LG refrigerators. MODEL: LFX31925ST.

No se puede quitar ya que se quemó en la parte superior de la superficie de la gama. Sería mejor estilo con 1 quemador grande andamp; 1 quemador pequeño en la parte delantera andamp; mismo en la parte posterior de la superficie. Para utilizar el quemador pequeño, el dial se enciende fácilmente. Esta gama en comparación con mi otra gama, parece salpicar el aceite más alrededor de la superficie. Una 10,21,18 llamó a la empresa porque el quemador delantero derecho no bajaba. Mi garantía de 1 año se agotó unos días antes. La empresa envió a un técnico sin coste alguno para mí el 10.23.18, ya que la garantía acababa de expirar. Esto fue realmente apreciado por mí. También me equivoqué al pedir este tipo de cocina, ya que no era autolimpiable. Estoy muy disgustado conmigo mismo, ya que la discapacidad me dificulta agacharme durante mucho tiempo para limpiarla yo mismo. We had the understanding that LG would honor open ticket items as though they were brand new. If we had known that LG (according to them) do not honor open item warranties I would not have bought the open item to save $100. I would have gone with a unopened product. But that isnt the full issue. So we bought a fridge it 2013 had some minor issues with the fridge but were able to fix the problems with a little help from videos as they were not major issues nothing repairing just thawing or cleaning something up. Well about 3-4 weeks ago we noticed our food was no longer staying cold and everything in our freezer was thawed and had to be thrown out and fridge was also not keeping things cold and lost most of our fridge stuff as well. We contacted LG to see if they could have someone come out and fix the issue as it was still under warranty. Well they called back to say they could get someone out to us in two weeks. We have young children in the home so going without a fridge for 2 weeks was not acceptable. We spoke to best buy and they recommended a repair place that is LG certified to come out and look at it. We contacted them and they asked the model and serial number once he got that information he knew exactly what the problem was and how to fix it. He has been fixing about 2-5 of these a week for the past year as it was a known defect during assembly of the product. When he first started seeing these issues appear he spoke to a tech at LG and the tech from LG let it slip mistakenly that during assembly of a part the worker bypassed procedures and did not install or use a spark shield. Without that part during assembly the part would fail within 4-5 years. And it looks based on the fact that he has fixed 2-5 a week that it is actually happening a lot. We had the repairman order the parts to get it fixed and we then find out that we would be charged a flat rate of $399 + tax or $425 to repair this. Parts would be all covered but labor wasnt so labor would be $425. I really find it hard to believe that I should be responsible for the labor on a product that was sold to me with a defective product. But we needed a fridge so we got the parts and had the repairman to come. Now the repairman spent 3 hrs only to find out the part that was sent was defective as well and did not work. So now my family has been without a fridge for 3-4 weeks. We called to complain to LG that first off we dont think we should be responsible for the labor costs if it was due to a defective product they knowingly put into the fridge. After some lengthy conversations with LG they have now since claimed that they will not pay anything due to this product being an open item product. They are still not standing up and admitting they put a defective part into a product and sold it. We know there is a list of serial numbers with this issue. If I had bought a car with a defective part a recall would be issued to repair this. But LG is trying to keep this on the down low and not pay up. It doesnt stop there. They have told our repairman that we said he was unprofessional and that he did not do a good job so now they are making false claims against our repairman that we never said. Plus during my first conversation with them they mentioned that you would be completely covered and you will have no cost out of your pocket for the repair only to go back on that statement and only offer my repair man a voucher for $115 of the $425 service. While I waited on the phone for the confirmation that this was all worked out I repeatedly asked will I be completely covered and nothing will come out of my pocket to which I was told over and over again that it will be covered. Only to find out the lied again to me and that they were only offering the lower rate. Now after we complained more now they are completely dropping all help and deeming this was due to the open item purchase and they dont cover the warranty on open items. I spoke to Best Buy and they restated that is not the case. Open items they sell are covered under warranty without question. Please what can you do to help. This has been very frustrating that I am without a fridge and now I am having to pay another $400 after buying a fridge less than 5 years ago for 1800. This is not the service I expected from a billion dollar company.

The LG refrigerator I used was spacious enough for us and I loved the fact that it was from a brand I trust and love. I loved the ice maker and water dispenser on it. The water from it was some of the best water. The fridge itself had tons of room and fit the space perfectly. The fridge we used had a bottom drawer freezer. I wasnt a huge fan seeing that it sometimes would catch if food shifted. The fridge had a lot of room...sometimes I felt too much room lol. So the spaciousness was a pro and con...mainly because I am short.

Llamamos a LG y verificaron que era un problema del compresor, pero tuvimos que pagar de nuestro bolsillo el coste de la visita del técnico y el coste de la reparación mientras ellos suministraban la pieza. El técnico vino y en menos de 20 minutos dijo que era un compresor. El coste de esos 20 minutos fue de 85 dólares. El coste del servicio del técnico para realizar el trabajo, 890 dólares. El coste del compresor de LG es de menos de 260 dólares. A ese precio, prefiero comprar un frigorífico nuevo. Llamé y me quejé a LG. Me dieron otros 3 técnicos PERO tendré que pagar nuevos costes de mano de obra. Me dijeron que podía explicarles que ya estaba diagnosticado, a lo que todos los técnicos dijeron que esto es falso y que tendrán que realizar su propio diagnóstico.1 de ellos no contestó, el otro dijo que no ha tocado el frigorífico LG en más de 7 años y que no quiere hacerlo. Llamé a LG porque no conseguía nada y me aconsejaron que podía llamar a cualquier técnico local y que ellos aprobarían al técnico para realizar el servicio. He llamado a unos 6 lugares locales y TODOS ellos no quieren tocar el refrigerador LG. Todos han dicho una cosa u otra sobre los frigoríficos LG. No estoy consiguiendo nada con LG y es un momento muy frustrante para mí y para mi familia que me den largas y no haya nada en el frigorífico. Como ocurre a veces con las pizzas, el queso se derritió por encima del borde de la piedra de la pizza hasta el fondo del horno. No hay problema, tiene una función de autolimpieza. Cuando la pizza estaba hecha, la puse inmediatamente en autolimpieza porque ya estaba caliente. Tardó 3 horas y calentó mi casa a 80 grados (nota para mí, no autolimpie un horno cuando hay 95 grados fuera). A la mañana siguiente abrí el horno para volver a meter las rejillas y, para mi sorpresa, lo único que había hecho la función de autolimpieza era COCER el queso derretido aún más en la superficie. Tuve que sacar (desenroscar) la bandeja inferior y limpiarla con limpiador de hornos y 409. Todavía no es perfecto. Muy decepcionado.

My expensive LG side by side refrigerator isnt even 3 years old. We noticed melting ice and water on the floor. The freezer section was no longer getting cold at all. Everything inside thawed out. The refrigerator sounded like it was still running and the cold side is only slightly cool. I called Lowes this morning (Sunday, Thanksgiving weekend) and they told me that the parts were covered but I will have to pay for labor. The earliest repair appointment is for Tuesday. Im not sure how much the labor will cost, but there is definitely a pattern on the reviews that have been posted. When I purchased it LG had great reviews, but obviously they are now using cheap parts. I hope this review saves someone else time and money, because now I am stuck with this expensive but cheaply made refrigerator.

We paid $90 to have it fixed (parts were covered under the 10 year warranty and labor under an extended warranty). It took almost 2 full weeks to get it fixed. Now, 3 years later the linear compressor has gone out AGAIN!!! This time the labor will cost us $540 to fix because the extended warranty we purchased through Home Depot expired. This fridge is going to the landfill and we will be purchasing a new fridge that is not LG. Its just ridiculous to need to replace such a major component every 3 years.

This is strictly a review. I purchased this washer (LG Washer WT110CW) as to the high standard that Consumer Reports gave it. I hate it. Your standard wash cycle is 57 minutes. There is a load for bulky, whites, etc. but some have a cycle up to 113 minutes. They do have a quick load of 35 minutes, but thats the least. Then it spins to the point of almost drying and your clothes by then are so wrinkled, that the dryer will not take them out and now I have to iron these items. It was over $600 with tax, so I just cant go buy another one. Way too much computerized options that take forever. I want my Kenmore back that gave me very little problems and a load was done in 30 minutes (no matter what it was).

The problem was that the valves for turning on the stove were too easy to turn on. I had accidentally turned the stove on with my behind as I turned away from the stove and brushed against the knobs. I didnt think much of it at the time until our toddler was working his way around the kitchen and on two occasions slapped at the knobs and turned the gas on in both cases. We immediately called the LG service line and they had the valves replaced. What we noticed shortly after was the knobs themselves getting loose. When I checked them out, I noticed that the backer was cracking and crumbling away. I contacted company for replacement parts and was shocked at the cost of replacing the knobs, about 30% of the cost of the stove itself. I checked the net and found that this was a common problem with no solution listed. What I did to correct it was to take one of the remaining better knobs and go to a good appliance retailer. I pulled knobs of stoves in inventory and checked to see if the LG knob would fit. When I got one, I asked about ordering replacement knobs for that unit and found them to be of better quality and lower replacement cost. I picked up a set of 5 for under a $100 and I am sure I could have gotten a better deal if I wasnt in such a hurry to get a set that fit. I will never by an LG again and have told everyone I work with my LG horror story. Also, my LG french door fridge has had a drawer bracket crack and my LG dishwasher is experiencing problems as well. They were all bought at the same time.

I then ran a spin cycle and had the service tech listen over the phone and he said No way was that sound normal. As we live farther than 20 miles from an authorized repair service, our case had to be evaluated for repair or replacement. They replaced it and it sounds much different and improved. With the new machine, the liquid HE soap is not totally dispensing leaving gummy residue in the tray. The manual is not very clear on how much to use for what size load. I was told to use 1 Tablespoon for medium and 2 Tablespoons for bulky loads and that a small amount of water remaining after the load finishes is normal and to wipe it out of the dispenser trays after each load. Definitely not user friendly.

The washer doesnt even wet the clothes: I mean the clothes are actually dry in the middle of the load; only the outside of a medium-sized load gets wet. I called LG. When I told the repair guy that the washer didnt get the clothes wet, he checked it and said nothings wrong, thats just how it goes.Here is the proper way to use this washer: Pretreat and load clothes. Run water in laundry room sink until hot; fill a bucket with soapy water, and pour over clothes in machine to make sure they get wet. Set washer to: cotton, pre-wash, extra high heat, highest spin speed, heavily soiled, water plus, and turn on the machine. Wait two and a half hours, and then repeat. Thats right--about two and a half hours to get a load done, five to get them more-or-less presentable. Cold is cold; tap cold--whatever that it--is cold, warm is cold, hot is cold, extra hot is actually hot.I emailed Energy Star: they said that if I have a problem with the machine I should call the manufacturer. When I explained that the machine was working to spec--that it was designed that way--they explained that they DONT TEST the Energy Star machines to make sure they do the job theyre supposed to, they rely on the manufacturer to confirm that the appliance does the job its supposed to AND meet Energy Star requirements. Somebody needs to clue in the EPA and Energy Star: if you have to wash every load twice, in blazing hot water, and replace the appliance every 3 - 5 years (typical of modern machines) youre not saving resources. Getting rid of this and getting an old-fashioned Speed Queen.

I found this site while researching LG FL washers. I have had an LG WM2010CW washer for years now. I went through the mold issue and solved it with common sense. Im not disparaging anyone here with mold issues but these suggestions fixed my issue which was minor in comparison.Clean out the filter at the bottom of the machine; then run a clean cycle with a cup of vinegar. Pour it into the dispenser for detergent, not the bleach dispenser. When the cycle is done, re-clean the filter and wipe out interior with vinegar. Get out the goop manually. Remove the dispenser drawer and wipe out the entire compartment with vinegar. Allow to air dry overnight leaving out the drawer. Replace the drawer and run a rinse to remove the vinegar. Quit using fabric softener or dryer sheets and switch to an unscented powder detergent. You need to be able to smell the machine. Use 2 tbsp. per load for moderate water, 1 if your water is soft. Adjust up or down as needed from there. Fill the softener compartment with white vinegar. Run an extra rinse on every load to work on the buildup. If you are using scented detergent and its still strong-smelling after the cycle, it isnt rinsing out. To monitor rinsing, add a gallon of water through dispenser drawer during rinse cycle, or more if needed, to see water. If detergent isnt rinsing out, either the oil or dirt is in your clothes. Do this for a month or so as every load of clothes will be reintroducing mold to your machine. Fabric softener is made from animal fat and will get rancid and breed mold. It also leaves fatty, greasy residue on your clothes that detergent must cut through. Detergents are alkaline so the mold in your washer needs that environment. The vinegar is a mild acid. Once your washer is back to normal and you have detergent dosage worked out, use a max of a tbsp. of softener or mix softener (50/50) with vinegar. The clean cycle on your washer is for maintenance. It isnt designed to eradicate a major problem. It took awhile for the machine to get in such bad shape and it will take time to fix it.
