He said that we used too much soap????? We paid 1/2 as much as it cost new!!! I will NEVER buy another LG washer again and hope that no one else will ever also!!!

We plugged in our new LG fridge 3 days before Thanksgiving of 2007. Two years and one month later, the ice maker broke down. LG policy would not cover the expense. Four years to the day, after plugging in our new fridge, the compressor failed. That was November 22, 2011. I am sending this note on February 2, 2012, and we are still waiting for parts to repair the new LG.

I have 4-year old front load LG washing machine. The door is either wide open or it is locked shut. I hate having to keep the door wide open and if you leave it shut, it stinks! I FINALLY FOUND A SOLUTION - a new product called FRONT LOAD FRESH cost ME ONLY $12.95. Front Load Fresh is a bracket I purchased on Etsy through Simple Life products; it partially holds open any front load washing machine door. Finally my laundry room looks nice and my washing machine no longer stinks. By the way they also have top load Fresh - a bracket to hold open top load washing machines for $12.95 on Etsy.

After about a year I noticed some rusting at the bleach dispenser but I just ignored it.Fast forward to 2017 and it has turned into a full blown big deal. It has rusted out, corroded, ready to crumble! I contacted LG and they were happy to send someone out to fix it for a flat rate of $245, to put another defective top on it that I would have to replace in a couple of years, whether I use bleach or not, because this has nothing, absolutely nothing to do with bleach! Upon doing a little online research I learned that I am not the only one having this issue, there are dozens, perhaps hundreds with the exact same problem! Yet LG swears that WE are spilling bleach and they are not liable for any repairs! But many washing machines before have had bleach spilled and did not rust like these do, so it must be a defect that LG will not fess up to. I am mad! That they are getting away with this and ripping people off!

Llamé al servicio de atención al cliente y me dijeron que estaba en garantía, pero que iban a hacer una excepción porque la mano de obra no estaba cubierta. Su próxima cita disponible era el 5,7,20. Me llamaron unas horas más tarde y me dijeron que la próxima cita disponible era hasta el 5,18,20. Bought a LRMVS3006S. 30 cu. ft. Smart wi-fi Enabled InstaView™ Door-in-Door® Refrigerator with Craft Ice™ Maker less than 2 week ago. Ice maker did not work after 60 hour wait recommended when I called LG after waiting 48 hours for icemaker to function. Then we noticed that temperatures are not reaching the low levels needed. Result: Spoiled food!!! They sent a technician to fix it (which we reluctantly agreed to). Technician showed up 10 days after we bought fridge. What did he say? No fix. Problems with compressor and we dont even have the parts to fix it. The thing is, we do not want our brand new - not cheap - refrigerator fixed! We want it replaced or receive a full refund!!!. Almost two weeks and still dealing with insurance we bought to cover it and LG not responding. After always buying all appliances LG brand, this is the end of our LG preference in this household for sure.
Power wave technology will not activate on new washer! New WT5070CW washer
Power wave technology will not activate on new washer! New WT5070CW washer arrived. I tried five different cycles and none can produce the powerful jets advertised as LGs Wave Force technology. Technician can only get the wave force action to occur while the washer is in test mode. The Wave Force action appears to be created by centrifugal force of the spinning drum. The drum will not spin fast enough on any cycle to create the wave force action. I am an engineer and it appears that the RPM setting on the motors variable frequency drive is not set high enough to create the wave force action. Hopefully, this is just a software glitch that LG engineers will quickly figure out. I plan on returning quickly if LG does not step up and fix the problem! Is anyone else experiencing this?

When we went shopping for a new washer/dryer, I was upset to find that nobody carried the old-timey washing machines -- unless you wanted a very small tub that you cant wash your bedding in. I did not like the fact that these new washing machines did not let you set your own water level or preferred washing cycle (you know, permanent press, delicate, regular, etc.); nor did I like the fact that it did NOT have an agitator. I do not need a washer/dryer for dummies who need presets for the various types of loads. LOL Plus, I had a sneaking suspicion that a washer without an agitator couldnt get laundry cleaned properly.Well, as it turns out, everything I did not like about the new washers is everything that I absolutely hate about our LG top loader that we bought in 2012. I was right not to want one in the first place, but I had no choice but to buy one if I wanted a NEW washer/dryer. The load sensor simply cannot gauge the size of a load properly. It either adds too much or too little water. Most of the time, it wont add enough water to cover even half of the load. When you trick it into adding more water (by opening and closing the lid as if you added garments), it ALWAYS adds water to the top -- even for a tiny load of undies.I was told they came out with these new types of washers to help reduce water usage. Well, thats an epic fail! Especially since the machine never gets the laundry clean, which often results in washing a load two or three times. I always wondered why Downy came out with those scent-boosting pellets, which we never needed with our old-timey washer -- because these washers simply do not clean clothes and they need something to make things at least smell good. Who do they think theyre fooling when soiled clothes come out of the washer still soiled?Now, about the lack of agitator, I couldnt have been more right. I was told by the salesman that the wave force is the way the machine agitates the clothes. Well, how can the wave force work when theres too little water in the machine that it doesnt even cover the load? When it fills the tub to the top on a load that didnt need that much water, the wave force causes the clothing to get all twisted. Each piece is twisted on itself as well as twisted with other clothing items. How gentle is that on clothing?With my old-timey washer, I could wash the dogs bedding and have it come out minus all of the dog hair and any stains and smells. Not with this machine. Theres always a significant collection of dog hair, particularly on the top, and I had to begin using color bleach to help with stains and smells better, but its still not clean. Dont even get me started on how unclean undies come out. LOL Those two types of loads, as well as towels, are usually the ones I have to wash two or three times -- and they STILL arent as clean as they should be.At least the dryer does a decent job, but it makes a weird noise that has me worried it will break down at any moment. Also, I fortunately have not had as many issues with the washer getting unbalanced as Ive read that others have had, but I hope I didnt just jinx myself by saying that because it does seem to be happening more often of late.At the moment, I simply cannot afford to replace a washer/dryer set thats only a few years old. My old Maytag lasted 20+ years with only two minor belt replacements, so I certainly did not expect to have to replace a three-year-old set or spend gobs of money fixing something that, according to other reviews, probably wont fix a thing.I tell you what, though, when I do go to replace them, if the stores do not have the old-timey machines with large-capacity tubs, I will go to a store that refurbishes them and spend my hard-earned money there -- most likely on a Maytag set. Maybe I should go check them out now to see how affordable they are. I know for a fact they wont cost thousands of dollars and will STILL actually get my clothes clean with less time and water -- not to mention without Downys smell-good-dirty pellets. LOLIn conclusion...just say no! Not only to LG, but any washer like it because its not possible to PROPERLY wash laundry without an agitator. Furthermore, if youre a green person like me who wants to save on water, you will cringe at how much water these washing machines cause you to waste just trying to get your laundry clean -- and to no avail.

We purchased a top load True Balance model WT4870CW early July 2013. No need for repair just yet but I cannot imagine we will remain unscathed. Countless UE warnings and subsequent UE shutdowns despite manually redistributing load and sorting by evenly weighed items. Water hammer on our plumbing from rapid cycle solenoid function when not experiencing uneven load. We will continue to hope for best while querying the web for updates and solutions (yeah... sure). Its crazy to hope for and experience elation just because the machine occasionally runs back to back loads trouble free. Our Whirlpool washing machine which this LG replaced gave us 19 years trouble free.

LG WT1101CW Washing Machine. Dont Buy LG. Warranty Not Honored. I purchased an LG top loading washing machine a year and a half ago after my twenty-year-old Maytag machine made of steel with a solid lid that finally needed to be replaced. Within months of buying this machine, the plastic around the hinges of the lid began to crack and started to crumble at the hinges. The plastic is not holding up to the opening and closing of the lid on my unit. I had the lid and hinges replaced four times for the same problem. Once the plastic around the hinges starts to crack and disintegrate, the lid cannot close, and you cannot use the machine at all. Customer service assured me after the fourth repair for the same problem that the unit would be replaced as defective. The plastic on the new lid after 5 months is starting to crack again, so I called and found out that my case was directed to the Defective Return Team and they rejected the claim. They told me it has been over a year since the purchase and it is now out of warranty. I have been repairing this brand new machine within a few months of purchasing it. Home Depot says its out of their hands, its up to LG but LG has not adhered to their own policy that after three visits to repair the same problem, it is considered unrepairable and is considered to be a defective machine and will be replaced. They will now send a technician out for a fifth time for the same repair. Its not fixing the problem! The lid keeps cracking around the hinges on both sides. Poor quality, poor workmanship, cheap materials and they will not replace the machine, and now that it is out of warranty, they may not replace the lid when it cracks again and I will have a machine I cannot use that I paid almost $700 for. After experiencing this, I will never buy another LG product again.

The ice maker fail to produce ice just a few months after buying the refrigerator. Luckily it was under warranty and a technician came out a few days later and made a quick repair. I purchased the refrigerator in 2009, and I get things fails with age. But it is scary when start to find small and large pieces of plastic in your mouth after drinking a glass of your favorite drink. In fact I swallow a large piece and almost choke. This type of problem may cause serious injury or death to a small child and old person. Check your ice maker.

El nuevo lavavajillas LG de acero inoxidable vino con la casa que compramos en 2011. Tuvo que arreglar después de dos meses de movimiento en. No estaba drenando. Fijo entonces tuvo que ser arreglado. Unos meses después de eso, no se enciende. Tiene problema de moho constante. Corrí con lejía, limpie entre las molduras de goma en el interior donde el moho es con lejía, ejecute vinagre ciclo de limpieza. Encontré moho en las tazas y el moho creció en todo el artículo de mango de madera. Algo de óxido en los lados interiores, 2 horas de funcionamiento. El botón de encendido es demasiado sensible, se enciende solo al golpearlo. También las púas de la rejilla inferior están tan cerca que la parte delantera de la rejilla inferior es inutilizable y la rejilla superior no sujeta bien los vasos, se han roto varios vasos. El diseño es malo en general, la rejilla inferior está muy cerca del suelo. Nunca compraría un lavavajillas LG.

Different compartments for easy access to food and drinks color choices and size available were also taken into consideration. Ice maker which breaks mine has been repaired at least five times since purchased.

Then I got, €Oh, you must submit this and that.€ Every one of them that I could understand said, €Oh, sorry for your problem. Ill note that and that is all I can do.€ As well as, €System is down today, sorry.€ I requested a senior advisor or someone and never got anything but, €All I can do is note that, so sorry. Anything else I can do?The cost from the spoiled food I have had to throw out over the years is astronomical. The fact that I havent gotten seriously sick from the food is miraculous. Every time I had a little food that didnt taste right, I threw it out. There were so many times my ranch salad dressing tasted so sour, but I ate some and served it. But then I replaced it. I and my guests are lucky we werent poisoned, though I have had some minor stomach bouts. And now think I know why.I have suffered with a horrible refrigerator from LG for almost 5 years. I purchased an extended warranty (worthless) from Assurant. It has malfunctioned since day 1. I made a few calls early on and gave up...Due to personal circumstances recently (divorce and unemployment), I needed to have my refrigerator working for my future sustenance. So before the warranty ran out, I started on this ridiculous journey of trying to get it fixed. It has turned into a nightmare. And from what I can gather, guess I am lucky my house didnt burn down from some defect LG knew about, as well as not to be dead from food poisoning.

LG needs to have a class action lawsuit filed against them or we all need to file claims against them in small claims court. We have most of the same issues as everyone else: Tromm LG washer and dryer. Washer model WM2277HW and dryer model DLG5988W. The washer smells like mold and always has. Slimy, moldy gasket, towels and bathroom rugs come out smelling like a barn, especially the washcloths. Soap dispenser does not drain properly; dryer does not dry. We have had multiple service calls and nothing gets more than a temporary fix or they declare they cant find anything wrong. These units were supposed to be the best and we have been putting up with them far too long.

We received our new LG top load washing machine at the beginning of Feb. 2016. Mid March (not even two months!). We noticed all dress shirts and golf shirts were coming out with oily spots on them. Contacted Home Depot who directed us to LG. So, we did contact LG since Mar 21st. You cant reach customer service right away; each customer service rep tells you so many different things. Customer service asks you if you are using HE detergent or fabric softener, and then tells you to try tub clean with clean water then with bleach which didnt solve the problem. The technician LG sends tells you it is what youre putting in the washing machine is the problem. One customer service rep tells you once the technician looked at it, it will be escalated to Mgmt. for exchange; another rep tells you it is rejected and asks you more tub clean while your dirty clothes is piling up. We bought a side by side Refrigerator Freezer in June of 2015, on August 10th it decided to die. I believe it was the compressor. I called LG and they gave me 3 different numbers to call. Two of them were out of state. I called the first number and they said they would charge me $600 just to come look at it, and then they would have to order parts. In the mean time all of my food was spoiling. Neither of the other two numbers answered their phones. Obviously no one was available to even look at the refrigerator. Its not like We were forced to go buy a new one you can go for weeks without a refrigerator. I will never buy another LG product, as the reviews show they make defective products.

First the smell issue, then the clothes being half dry and now the mold or some kind of something being left on the clothes. First off when I call they have no record of the previous calls! They tell me do the clean cycle, joke doesn€t work! Then they say less clothes, doesn€t work! My clothes are literally covered in something after every load and it€s not getting any better. I€m going to buy a new machine and I will trailer this thing around as a lemon! LG Products and customer service are a joke! DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS!!! I also had a refrigerator that sat in my living room for 2 months because I couldn€t find a repairman to even come work on it and then LG sent out one of their people only to have him tell me it was a known issue and they had to replace the compressor under warranty after they tried to get me to pay for it first!!! Like the features, Ive owned and used these item for over 13 years and have not had any issues or problems with them. Regular repairs would definitely be a deal breaker because, Ill be forced to pay or spend extra money on these items if not investing in another brand. Im a male who washes most of the time because the wife is away so, I have known what cycle and temperature to use when washing whites, colored or black garments. So because this product is seamless to operate Ive never had any problems doing my laundry. Beside the price fitted in my budget.

Spoke to Home Depot and LG service departments and neither would exchange the machine, or help in any way. My eyes arent good so I need that light. I told them if it was from wear and tear I could see that but this could be VERY HARMFUL to have an acid type of substance coming out of my refrigerator. Apagar el disyuntor para que se apague. En ese momento no estaba al tanto de la retirada de la estufa. Al día siguiente, los quemadores no se encendían o no se podía controlar la temperatura. Encontré que hay una retirada de fábrica de estas estufas por este mismo problema y que son un peligro de incendio. Me puse en contacto con LG y me dijeron que tardarían de 3 a 5 días laborables en responderme. (Mientras tanto no se puede usar la estufa por el peligro de incendio). El 5º día por la tarde, seguía sin haber contacto así que les llamé. Me dijeron que no había notas en mi expediente y que pondrían a alguien a trabajar inmediatamente. Hi. I bought an LG washer and dryer 2 weeks ago, got it installed 4 days ago. My first wash the dryer didnt work, I kept trying but it didnt. LG sent a 3rd party tech who investigated and replaced a part (back box ) but it still doesnt work. Hes left it to a next unscheduled appointment to probe further to try and see if changing front panel will work. I paid $2600 for this machine and Im so disgusted, disappointed & frustrated with the process and the service from LG. For the price this machine is a complete failure for me. I paid for a new functioning washer and dryer and I got a trial and error piece of equipment. Im a mother to 4 school going kids and the inconvenience, hole in pocket and frustration is inexplicable. I want LG to replace this machine irrespective to their further investigations irrespective if it leads to repair or not. Because I didnt pay for a repaired product I paid for a brand new functioning product and I want one or my money back. I wouldnt recommend this machine to anyone on this basis.

After trying for 6 months to fix the washer using steps outlined by LG, the problem has only gotten worse. LG offered to send a repair service out to fix the washer for nearly $500, which is almost as much as the washer cost. When I mentioned that the problem seems widespread online and that LG was offering no-cost service calls to others experiencing the same problem (it appears to be a consistent and easy fix of replacing the board and stator), they refused to offer the same service and insisted the repair would include a hefty fee. I would rather spend my money on a brand that stands by its products.

Puse una carga de toallas, salí a mi porche para sacar a mis perros y mi compañera de piso llegó a casa para encontrar agua por toda mi entrada, por todo el suelo del lavadero, el baño, el pasillo y las dos habitaciones del pasillo. Había por lo menos de 20 a 30 galones de agua por todas partes. LG tuvo la audacia de decirme que podía pagar para que un técnico viniera a diagnosticar el problema y que luego podía pagar para que lo arreglaran. Tengo unos 20.000 dólares en daños de los que me tengo que hacer cargo. No voy a pagar también por la avería mecánica de sus máquinas. I purchased a LG Refrigerator (model no: LSC27910SW) about 4 years ago. 4 months into it the icemaker broke. 8 months after that the lever for the icemaker would get stuck when you pushed it in forcing you to manually grab the lever to stop water/ice. Had it fixed again. 1 1/2 into it it started doing it again. We have been living with it like that. NOW the outside of the refrigerator is rusting all around the outside of the dispenser and on the corners of it. I live in Colorado. We dont have humidity. I E-mail LG 2 days ago. No response. Called LG today. They said Sorry but we cant do anything for you. I told them, I am buying a new refrigerator, do you want me to buy a LG again? His response was thats up to you. I will never buy ANYTHING LG again.

LG smartdrum inverter washing machine - The machine just does not rinse out the dirt from the clothes. It leaves lines of loose dirt all through the clothes where it has spun out the water and not adequately rinsed them. I have never ever been this disappointed with a product. I will not recommend this machine to anyone and if I could afford to replace it I would. It takes at least 2 full wash cycles to remove some of the loose dirt, the second with no detergent.

They referred me to an LG authorized repair service. After 2 weeks and 3 visits and $372.00, the refrigerator still did not work!!! They told me that I need to get an LG factory technician.I called LG who then told me that I must purchase a 60-day extended warranty for $253,29. They set up an appointment a week later with another LG AUTHORIZED repair service. On the day of the appointment we called the service only to be told that he was too busy and that LG did not send him the parts which he needed to do the repair. I called the LG number again who made an appointment with another service. It is now 3 weeks and they are still waiting for the parts!!! To be continued. I thought Comcast and AT&T were bad!!! LG wins the booby prize.

Updated on 09/10/2019: Update to my previous post. After a week of having the parts the Puls technician finally showed up and installed a new/different compressor than the original. Install went fine up to the point he told me it required a new software upload before we could plug in the refrigerator, which he has not received yet. Now another day has come and gone with no working refrigerator (two days after replacing the compressor). What a major undertaking this has been! I had to call on behalf of the technician to get the software ordered and Puls is telling me that it was LG that was the hold up. What a nightmare of an ordeal. You would think LG would know the software was a requirement and would have sent it with the compressor. Nope, no such luck! What horrible aftermarket support. Think twice before buying LG... Original Review: I have loved my LG fridge until it stopped working. I called LG and they asked a few question and figure out it was a closed system or compressor issue under warranty. They shipped me all the parts needed (good for LG) but Puls Technologies Inc. dropped the ball and did not have a tech show up as scheduled. So they told me it would be the next day, then they called back and said the soonest would be in three more days on Saturday. My question is, can I get a technician on my own and have them do the repair and send LG the bill? A week without a refrigerator is not a fun thing to deal with. After reading more on LG refrigerators, I see this seems to be an on going issue. Wish I knew this before I bought the fridge and an LG dishwasher. Lets just say, I wont be buying a matching oven and microwave from LG.

Y a menos que hayas lavado todo antes de cargarlo, las posibilidades de que la carga esté 100% limpia son escasas. Tienes más posibilidades de que George Clooney y Brad Pitt laven y sequen tus platos a mano que de conseguir una carga limpia con esta máquina. Tienes que usar jabón líquido. Las cápsulas no se disuelven en esta máquina. Hay un filtro. Un filtro muy molesto, con una lavadora de goma que hay que vaciar y limpiar cada pocos días. Además los brazos rociadores se atascan. A menudo... ESTA MÁQUINA REQUIERE MÁS MANTENIMIENTO QUE UNA AMA DE CASA DE BEVERLY HILLS. ¡Y como una RHOBH, NO funciona! Esta es una máquina perfecta para una pareja de recién casados que es despreciada por un frenesí o una suegra despreciada. Esta máquina volverá loco a un recién casado. Entonces llamé directamente a Lg, que me dijo que tardaría entre 5 y 7 días en llegar la fecha de la reparación. Me han dicho que no tienen a nadie en mi zona que acepte su cobertura. After reading on the energy savings we bought an LG HE front loader in 2010. Well, after reading my booklet and other information, I understood that have to keep the door open to not have odors in the washer. We have terrible build-up of mold inside the rubber gasket. I am allergic to mold. I have to get in there and clean with bleach but still comes back. I will say it cleans my clothes. You only need a tablespoon of detergent. But my problem now is the terrible LOUD noise it makes every time it empties the water out. Goes off-balance all the time with small loads. CANNOT wash a small throw rug. Its IMPOSSIBLE to find a reputable repairman. My mom bought the same washer 2011 and now her motor went after others issues with leaking. Shes going out and buying another name brand. I would never buy another LG appliance again.

I did not choose my LG refrigerator. It came with the house or condo I bought and was in the kitchen and I wont replace or buy something new when not needed. It will be saved and used in or on something else. Keeps food fresh so that I always have something I can eat or fix for my family and if thirsty they can also find something to drink and it will taste good. But maybe keep my cat and or dog food to keep fresh also and keep things to drink and consume when it is wanted.

Bought the washer and dryer in August 2011 (washer is WaveForce top loader). At first I loved it! I have 2 small kids and a dog so I wash a load daily at least. Got the software update notice so had that done. Noticed I would get the uE or UE code fairly often after that. Then one day no matter what setting I used it would get to the rinse cycle and never put water in it, wouldnt dispense my fabric softener, and just flash 22 min and then after a while stop and give me the UE code. So then I have to stop the unit, choose rinse/spin and then the fabric softener will be dispensed. Then when that is done, my clothes are still way too wet, so I have to choose spin only to try to get more water out. Sometimes I run it a few times and its still too wet. Called LG several times, downloaded the app to figure out what was wrong. Couldnt figure it out. Finally had LG repair place come to figure out whats wrong. $50 later I was told I need a new main board. So today 12-12-14 I had the repair guy out and he replaced the board. He ran his test washes (with an empty washer mind you) and it seemed fine. He left and I needed to wash what I had let pile up some because I knew it would be fixed...first load a light blanket. Washed it a hundred times before. Washer gave me same error codes at the same time. I called the company and was told service guy is out still. I called the cell phone of the service guy because he called when he arrived and left 2 vms and no reply back. Called LG to complain and am so tired of some idiot overseas talking in circles from a manual!!! So it was $190 today and its been almost 5 hours since they left and I just started a smaller load #3. I have 10 people that will be here over holiday and this is what I have to worry about! Towels and clothes starting to have a weird smell. They arent getting clean or spun out enough. And when I cant spin enough water it makes my dryer work harder. Thats next I bet. Worst experience with LG. Wish I wouldve seen this before. I always assumed LG was good. Never, ever, ever again!! Buyer beware!

Compré una estufa eléctrica LG de gama alta, en 2014 y en unos 3 años los elementos calefactores se están estropeando. Desde hace 2 semanas, el elemento delantero derecho es inútil. Ahora los 2 elementos de la izquierda están actuando. Si enciendo la trasera izquierda, la delantera izquierda también se enciende, creando un peligroso (inesperado) problema de superficie caliente. En todos los años y en todos los diferentes lugares en los que he vivido, sólo hemos tenido modelos de bajo coste que no eran de LG, que nunca fallaban. Esta vez pagamos más y en poco tiempo se va al infierno. Nunca consideraré a LG para ninguna categoría de productos.

Seems my problem (compressor & HORRIBLE customer service) is one of MANY complaints about the LG refrigerator. It is junk and the service techs are even worse!!! No one cares and there really is no one to talk to as it seems even the managers and supervisors are deaf tone. The Filipinos are very nice... but NOT HELPFUL at all. It is like they just read from their computer prompt with every statement you make. My question is: WHERE AND HOW DO WE GET A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT?! $3000 fridge should last more than 3 yrs! I have a small fridge that is 21 yo and has never had a service call and still works! My in laws have a fridge from 1978 that STILL WORKS! Wth?! Junk!!!

Compré mi lavavajillas LG en marzo de 2018, en un mes la rejilla inferior que dobla los dedos hacia abajo para las ollas grandes, se partió y se rompió. Me costó 6 llamadas y 2 meses conseguir un reemplazo. Me enviaron 2 rejillas lo que te dice lo desorganizados que son. ¡Actualmente tengo un lavavajillas que NO TIENE POTENCIA! Estamos en enero de 2019, así que llamé y concertaron una llamada de servicio para la próxima semana. Acabo de recibir una llamada de seguimiento de un representante de LG preguntándome todas las mismas preguntas que me hicieron cuando llamé. Me sentí muy frustrada con ella, ya que le pregunté por qué me llamaban de nuevo con preguntas que ya me habían hecho. Entonces me dijo: Gracias. Que tenga un buen día. ¡Qué pena! La máquina de hielo siempre ha sido marginal, pero esta última semana, después de llegar a casa de unos días fuera, encontramos que el refrigerador y el congelador no funcionan. No hay códigos de error, así que intentamos un reinicio de energía. Todavía no hay refrigeración o congelación. Llamamos a la empresa de reparación de electrodomésticos de la tienda donde lo compramos y su técnico vino y verificó que el compresor había fallado. Estos frigoríficos se anuncian como un ahorro de dinero, pero cuando te gastas más de 2.000 dólares por una chatarra que sólo ha durado 6 años, echa cuentas. No son más baratos de poseer. Fuimos a comprar un repuesto y le contamos a la vendedora nuestra experiencia con los frigoríficos LG y nos comentó que varios de sus clientes le habían transmitido la misma historia sobre compresores LG que fallaban. Probablemente sea más sensato comprar un frigorífico nuevo, dado el coste de la mano de obra de la reparación. Tenga la seguridad de que no será LG ni ningún otro producto LG en el futuro. First my front loading dryer drum cracked. Clothes keep getting stuck in it and they rip. Next, the front loading washing machine is mildew smelling and the rubber seal has got holes in it and water runs into the motor compartment and the door leaks. The tray you put the soap into has broken and soap runs down the outside of the washer. Our clothes get caught in the seal and get ripped. The clothes dont come out clean and sometimes smell. This set is a piece of junk! I will never buy another set of LG products from Home Depot again!

Conscientes de la situación, siempre somos muy cuidadosos alrededor de la estufa y hay veces que el pomo se roza y el gas se escapa... sí, se escapa. Uno no se da cuenta de que el gas se escapa hasta que alguien huele el gas unos minutos después. Esto es totalmente inaceptable, y si tienes niños pequeños es extremadamente peligroso. Estamos estudiando la posibilidad de comprar tapas a prueba de niños que posiblemente se ajusten a los pomos y ver si eso funciona, y estamos contactando con LG.

Bought LG model LFXS30726S on December 2014 (a $3000 fridge). The compressor failed while on vacation on August 2017. Returned home and witnessed food all ruin, house smelled like some animal died inside. Late return home from vacay so had to stay up late to clear out the fridge fast and doubled bags about 8 trash bags. Family not sleep well that night due to the bad smell that permeated the entire house.Next day, got a local serviceman and he said the compressor died and its a common issue for LG and informed me the compressor has 10 yrs warranty. So I contacted LG. Horrible experience (life was not good!). First call I was given three local authorized LG repair services. First one no one answered the phone. Second and third, we dont do warranty jobs?? Second call to LG, received fresh three new numbers and got the same results?? My furious third call back to LG, LG assigned the repair to LGs own technician and said first availability will be 4 days out.Next morning after vacay, we took the fridge apart and removed the heavy houses door in order to get the LG outside to clean and remove the smell. The next several days we tediously cleaned with vinegar and baking soda several times a day. LG technician came 4 days later and confirmed the compressor is bad and its on order and will be expedited to the house the next day. The next day it took 1.5 hr to replace the compressor and the labor charge was $460 (with tax).I contacted LG executive services and informed them my experience. They replied via email saying my product is out of warranty yada yada and zero compensations or apologies for poor quality product. This was the second major issue with this fridge. 5 months after we bought it, the controller was bad (defrost timer was bad) causing the freezer to ice up and the fan kept hitting ice LOUD bangs. It took LGs technician FOUR trips/appointments to the house and TWO technicians to determine it was the defrost timer. Had to take off work to meet technicians. They replace the controller board to fix this issue. We bought a mini 3.3 cu ft. fridge (NOT LG) to get us by while the LG was out. I wont recommend LG fridge to anyone and wont buy another LG fridge.

Opened the door and the freezer was warm. Called LG, they sent a technician out, he had to replace the compressor and the circuit board, waited 1 week for parts to come in. Technician came and replace the parts. 2 days later, something happened AGAIN, waiting for another week for him to come out (because he was busy doing other repairs), he added Freon, that lasted for 2 days, then the day before Christmas eve 2018, he came out and put more Freon in it. The Technician CANT FIND THE PROBLEM. Now, its December 29th 2018, still not fixed.We been on the phone with LG for the last 4 weeks. All they keep saying is that they will send the repair guy out. Now mind you, I had to throw out over 500.00 worth of food in the beginning. They are going to refund us a check for 150.00 and the Technician already got paid for the job, 250.00. Hes been out 3 times so far, each time for at least 4-5 each time. All LG WANTS TO IS KEEP TRYING TO FIX IT. It seems to me with all of these problems that all of us consumers are having, that they would just replace them... Im still without a refrigerator and have 2 little kids. THEY DONT CARE. Late at night, (after we all went to bed) we heard glass breaking. Upon investigation, we found that the glass in the front loader door has blown out, glass all over the floor AND inside the washer. Glass was very hot. Cleaned up the mess and called LG. My husband is disabled and we do his laundry every day. I spoke to customer service and they said it had to go to resolution team, even though I have had the machine for 5 years and it was no longer under warranty. After a week of waiting for their decision, now I have service scheduled for Monday (which I have to pay for since the washer is not under warranty....no kidding!!) They had better come with the parts because going to the Laundromat is no fun...especially after paying $700 for this machine.....

We purchased our LG Tromm 3 years ago. The first thing that happened was the boot on the opening that the door fits into ripped. It was replaced with a generic part because LG apparently stopped making the original boot. The repair person, recommended by LG, came and installed the new boot and it didnt fit properly. After he left, we did a load of wash and all the water drained onto the laundry room floor and down into our finished basement. They came back with another boot, apologized but did nothing about the water damage and the second boot worked. The moldy smell is nonstop. We do a monthly bleach tub clean and have used the pucks you can buy to clean front-loading washers, but nothing works. I wipe out the fold in the boot constantly because gunk accumulates in it. I drain the washer from the little hose in the compartment at the bottom often and clean out the trap. My clothes smell awful. Im not sure on what to do with a 3-year old washing machine that makes my clothes worse smelling than before they were washed.

Compré el lavavajillas LG LSDS4821ST el 30 de noviembre de 2008. Sólo lo he utilizado 3 veces desde 2008. El lavavajillas dejó demasiada agua en la máquina después de secar los platos. Los platos tampoco estaban limpios ni secos. Llamé al servicio técnico durante el periodo de garantía y me dijeron que el agua sobrante era normal y que los platos se secaban al aire con un nuevo sistema de lg. Las pocas veces que usé la lavadora tuve que limpiar el exceso de agua en el fondo del interior de la máquina. Los platos también estaban mojados. El colmo fue cuando el dispensador de jabón para platos no se abría. Eso fue en 2013 y desde entonces no lo he vuelto a utilizar. El servicio de atención al cliente de LG te da largas. Tengo una lavadora y secadora LG con bastantes problemas. No compren nada de LG, ni siquiera un teléfono.

I purchased this LG LSXS26386 refrigerator new from Home Depot in June 2016. Shortly after it was delivered, the refrigerator door had to be replaced because the door in door wouldnt stay closed. Now in October 2017, I am having another issue with this refrigerator. It has begun to make a buzzing sound each time the motor is running. After calling LG, they said, through smart technology of my refrigerator, that the error code SBS-ERDS (defrosting system) will require a repair. They offered me a charge of $425 (1 year) or $338 (1 time) repair. I cant believe this! After only 17 months of usage, this piece of garbage refrigerator is already costing me more money. Do not waste your money on this refrigerator or any other product LG is trying to sell!

But they need to get out of the refrigerator department, complete failures, TWICE!!

Ha sido una experiencia desalentadora haber comprado un modelo que era una supuesta mejora sólo para que no funcione en menos de 2,5 años. Today, no one show up. I called LG customer service again, they told me no one set up any appt for me on yesterday and they set up another appt on next Tuesday. I have to take another day off, wait for that. And same issue has repair 3 time, still has problem. DO NOT BUY ANY LG PRODUCTS. THEIR WARRANTIES ARE JUNK. We purchased the LG1443KDS at the end of 2011. The machine vibrated so badly it would travel the length of the utility floor and destroyed the large rubber drum seal. The repair technician advised the retailer to replace the machine, that was subsequently done. The replacement washing machine has displayed the same characteristics on a number of occasions other than destroying the drum seal. The noise from this appliance is on a par to pneumatic drill being used indoors, and could quite easily injure a small child or animal when the violent motions take place, lifting it clear of where it is situated.We also contacted LG directly regarding our concerns, but were merely brushed off. Absolutely no interest in their customers or appliance aftercare. This washing machine was extremely expensive, but is the worst appliance we have ever owned. This is the first ever LG appliance and is DEFINITELY our last. Purchase junk from this manufacturer at your peril.

Purchased model LFXC24726S/00 November 2014. Had to be serviced January 2015 due to excessive ice buildup in freezer. Time frame was 5 wks d/t, part not in stock, reorder wait & install. 8/1/18 fridge dead. Told 8/14 would be soonest tech would be available to come out, diagnose, possible order part if not available then repair...2+ weeks with no working fridge. Told I could rent one in the meantime and be reimbursed at 25% of the cost of my fridge. Seriously?!! Lost food, utilize insulin (requires refrigeration), had to purchase a new fridge ASAP.I don€t about anyone else but I don€t have $2200-$3000 lying around for new fridges every 4yrs. Totally unacceptable! I will NEVER purchase another LG product again as they are not supported by the company once you get them in your home. It was suggested that I have it moved into the garage after I get the new one & allow them to repair it. Why the hell would I do that? I don€t need 2 fridges, I just need 1 that is reliable & works!

A lo largo de 9 meses, 2 compañías de reparación diferentes, muchas horas en el teléfono, hemos tenido el panel de control reemplazado 2 veces, la placa base reemplazada 1 vez, la cerradura de la puerta, el pestillo 3 veces. La máquina no muestra ningún código de error y la aplicación inteligente en mi teléfono cuando se vincula dice que la máquina está funcionando bien. He pedido una lavadora de reemplazo porque esto es un limón. He documentado todos mis correos electrónicos a LG y a los técnicos del servicio técnico. Cuando leo todas las críticas negativas sobre este mismo producto, y bajo la crítica LG responde que se ponga en contacto con ellos llamándoles, o contactando en Facebook o Twitter porque quieren arreglarlo, tengo que reírme. Yo he hecho todo eso, incluso contactar con ellos en Facebook. Cuando el reparador visita tu casa y reporta tu problema al servicio técnico de LG, luego envía el reporte a LG, te dice que esperes la respuesta de LG. No hay respuesta en más de una semana, así que llamo al servicio de atención al cliente. No puedes llamar al servicio técnico, sólo los reparadores tienen acceso a ellos. El servicio de atención al cliente no tiene acceso al servicio técnico. Les dejan una nota para que te llamen. Así que se dan vueltas y vueltas. New refrigerator, ice maker quit and while we were gone for 3 weeks, water leaked all over the floor, ruined baseboards/floor. Called for repair. Have been promised a technician and or calls for 4 days now with NO callbacks and no technicians. Weve been lied to again and again, and still no fix and none in sight. Defective product, impossible service! Never again would we purchase an LG product!

Me encanta el espacio ajustable en el interior del frigorífico y la refrigeración constreñida en todo el frigorífico. Mi problema es que llevo 3 semanas sin frigorífico y mañana viene mi familia. Mi marido llamó al servicio técnico de LG el 25 de noviembre y nos encontraron un distribuidor autorizado, pero está a una hora al sur de nuestra casa. Vinieron el 27 de noviembre y nos dijeron que el compresor estaba estropeado y que pedirían otro. No hace falta decir que la cena de Acción de Gracias se sirvió en neveras y frigoríficos de los vecinos. Front load clothes washer - whenever we start a new wash, after it sits more than 1 day, a putrid odor emits from it. It is about 5 years old & has happened since new. Per LG, we clean all the areas they told us & leave door & dispenser open when not in use. We have complaints to LG several times - but they were no help. This washer is one of the most expensive around.

Three weeks ago my son contacted LG customer service. Our refrigerator has been running with a loud fan sound. Recommendations... to set temperature at original setting settings and dont open the doors. Three weeks from then... same situation. Today I called LG customer service talked with Chris. He asked for the fridge/freezer temperatures. Fridge panel at 34, freezer at -6. Yet, I explained to Chris that I bought refrigerator/freezer thermometers... the fridge reads 60 degrees, the freezer is reading at 30 degrees. Chris asked my son if the settings on the refrigerator was personal or preference. My son said I guess preference. Conclusion - Chris now had us reset the temps to fridge, 37 and the freezer at 0. He said since we preference the other temps, tried to explain that we did not set this temps, he said, Well your son said it was a preference. No one at LG was helpful. Very belittling, Dok. the first person spoke with, continued asking Is the fan sound humming, snapping, tapping? When I tried to explain that no one set these temps, Chris used the bias term personal or preference. Not one person was willing to work together to solve the problem. They were looking for blame. Point remains, whatever the panel temps says the refrigerator is still at 60 degrees, and freezer is at 30+.

The second repair never got the freezer to work so I had to buy another fridge. I bought a top freezer because they are top rated for performance.

I just called LG to try and warranty my french door refrigerator with a broken compressor. I purchased my unit Aug. 2012, and I am well within my 10 year warranty. Heck, Im still within the 7 year warranty for the other parts that will need to be replaced when they repair the compressor. They transferred me to their affiliated repair company and they want $1000.00 to fix my unit. If Im under warranty, why do I have to pay that much for something that is guaranteed to break again, from reading all these comments???? $1k I might as well use that money for a new unit, not LG!

I kind of feel bad, because I just read the other reviews, and my complaints are as bad as theirs. However, I am so anxious about whats to come. My story is Im heartbroken at the purchase of this LG refrigerator model# LMXS30776S. We used the money that my mom left us to buy it, and we went to Home Depot many times, looking at the refrigerators to pick just the right one to remember her by, and decided on this LG door in door, December 2016. From the very beginning, the door in door would not open, and would not close properly.We gave it some time, but called in less than a month old. In January, they came out... one of the repairmen said to man -up and dont open it and close it like a girl. When we told him it doesnt open or close, like in the multiple stores we tested, he said, he didnt care about the stores, to give it time to wear in like the stores. I told him I did care that it worked like the refrigerators that I tried out. Again, he said to give it time.We waited for 2 or three months and called another repairman. He came out and basically said the same thing. He said he had the same refrigerator, and it did the same thing. I said, And your wife is willing to put up with this? He said, you get used to it. We waited almost a year and called another repairman from Home Depot (our LG warranty was up.) He came out and said since nothing was broken, he could not fix a door that would open, even if it didnt open correctly. He couldnt fix a rattle in the door or what I thought was the motor, because essentially everything was working (the right temperature, motor not stopped, door opened etc.)He told me thats the way warranties work... things have to be broken, not just not working right. Over $3,000 is a lot of special money to spend on a refrigerator that doesnt work right, but wont be fixed. LG definitely does not stand behind their products. I will not ever buy an LG again, and I so wish I had read the reviews before buying - AND, like I said before, am so nervous now for whats to come.

He comprado el horno de pared LG 2018 LWS3063ST. Después de tener dos meses utilicé el modo de autolimpieza y se calentó tanto que me quemó el horno. Después de tres meses de no tener el horno y de volver a pedir que se sustituyeran numerosas piezas, incluidos los fusibles, el transformador y la placa base principal y el panel de la pantalla, el horno funcionaba para trabajos ligeros. Me aconsejaron que no volviera a utilizar el modo de autolimpieza. Estamos hablando de un horno nuevo, 1700.00 ya que esto es típico para los hornos LG. Me dijeron que la próxima vez que mi horno sería reemplazado. De nuevo me dijeron que nunca usara el modo de autolimpieza. Avance rápido hasta el 1 de enero de 2021. Voy a encender uno y no se calienta. Código de error F19. La parte principal está fuera de servicio otra vez. Eso sí, no he utilizado el modo de autolimpieza desde la última vez y la garantía de LG acaba de desaparecer y me he pasado a SquareTrade. Quieren enviar las piezas de nuevo después de que se me garantizó un reemplazo esta vez para este horno de limón. Aparentemente el proveedor de servicios amontonó todas mis visitas en sólo dos incidentes y LG no marcó en mi cuenta que el horno sería reemplazado. No pueden decirme por qué la pieza sigue fallando. LG sigue enviando piezas por su garantía pase lo que pase en lugar de sustituir. No volveré a comprar LG. Deberían respaldar sus productos. Simplemente reemplazan las piezas en lugar de la unidad hasta que se pasa la garantía y sigues atascado con un montón de basura, pero ahora has agotado tu garantía y la misma pieza defectuosa que no han arreglado o el modo de autolimpieza que quema el horno desaparece y te quedas con un electrodoméstico de limón que ahora necesitas comprar un nuevo horno. Mi último horno tenía 20 años. Utilizaba la autolimpieza todo el tiempo. Nunca tuve un problema o una llamada al servicio técnico. LG es una basura.

I would never buy this type of range again. The large burners are in the front, where one would place a large stock pot. It is very dangerous to have such a large pot positioned in front. You have to reach over it to get to the smaller pots. Its very dangerous. The reason I bought this range was because it matches the refrigerator. It looks good, but it is difficult to use. I can manage it, because it is just my husband and myself. If I had a young family, I would get rid of it (even though it is new). It could become a hazard with small children around. They could easily pull a large pot over on them. I am constantly vigilant when I am cooking on it and worried I will tip the front pots over on myself. Its not a pleasure to cook anymore!

I just remodeled my home. They started in November, and I got to the kitchen part of it in December, and I had to go and get a new refrigerator, stove, and a microwave, so I just bought the bundle. I was gonna go with Samsung, and the lady that was at Home Depot said that LG is better and that she could give me a deal on it. I just bought the bundle of refrigerator, microwave and oven. I havent had a problem with the microwave or oven, but the refrigerator is disappointing. It was the freezer part of the refrigerator that I have a problem with. At first, I picked out one that didnt have the icemaker, and it was sold out by the time I got back to purchase it. And so, the lady set me up with the refrigerator I have now.They put it in in December, and I started having trouble and noticed some things were going on in February. Then in May, it was really not freezing the bottom half, but I like the freezer part of it. My old refrigerator had the freezer on top, and I like the bottom freezer, but it just doesnt work. I do like the icemaker feature and when it was making ice. I also like the water part of it, and then the freezer thats in the bottom. Its a nice refrigerator. It was kinda top of the line, and then the lady gave me a little bit of a discount on it, so we have then paid for it.There was a technician out here who was checking it out. LG sent him out, and they figured out it was the temperature gauge, but he said in 2020 they are coming out with the new coolant for the refrigerator. So, I dont know if that would make a difference, but it isnt gonna help me because the reason they couldnt replace that is that they said they didnt have technicians to do it, so it might be something new. Also, I just got an email from Mat, and he said theyre still figuring out whether theyre give me the refund or a replacement. I know I took a little time. I didnt know how to take pictures of my papers and download them to him. I figured that out, and I finally got it to him yesterday. He replied back that he gave it to his boss, and theyre still looking it over.
