Paso 2
Compruebe que el lavavajillas está conectado a la línea de agua caliente y no a la de agua fría. Intercambie si es necesario.
Paso 3

The difference is that, in my case, I bought it from a friend that went with a stackable set of machines. And they were saying that LGs warranty is not transferable! They will only stand behind their products if you purchase them new and have the receipt! Pretty sneaky, if you ask me. The service rep actually said, Well, its in the fine print! I will never own anything made by LG again! What a rip off! I will make sure that everyone possibly know about their warranty being highly unfair! If everyone knows how bad it is, nobody in their right mind would buy this LG junk!

We had a kitchen remodel in November 2009, we purchased all LG appliances. My LG convection oven has been serviced 3 times for the same exact problem. Error: F-9, the thermostat will not heat the oven. Obviously there is a problem with the oven and it should be replaced. The model cost over $1800.00, and I thought that LG stood behind their product. The oven (wall unit) is just 2 years old. I also have an LG dishwasher, which was serviced because the motor went out the first year.

After returning home from a 4 day trip my wife and I noticed that our frozen food was thawing out on our freezer. I checked our temperature settings to make sure that they were correct and watched to see if maybe our freezer was going through a defrost cycle. It wasn€t and the next day we had to remove our food to another refrigerator that we have so the food didn€t spoil. I contacted LG support and set up an appointment for service which was several days later. The technician came out and diagnosed a bad compressor and coils which he replaced. It took a couple of days before the ice maker even started to make ice again and thought that was strange but everything in the freezer froze so we thought we were good. After about 3 weeks we noticed that everything was thawing again and I contacted the technician directly and told him what was happening. He came out again and checked my unit and found a pinhole that caused the Freon to leak out. He repaired it and all was well until about a week ago we noticed that our ice cream was turning into milkshakes so I called the technician again and he came out and checked our refrigerator and told my wife that there was nothing wrong with it according to what his computer readouts said. By the next morning the frozen food in the freezer was thawed out and we had a large puddle of water on the floor from the upper ice maker thawing out and the water from the ice running all over the floor. I sent the technician a text and he told me that there was nothing he could do and that I needed to call customer support and file for a new repair order because he said he couldn€t figure out what was wrong. I sent him the pics I have attached and he said that ambient air temps won€t give correct readings to which I responded that the temp readings were off the walls of the refrigerator and freezer compartments. No response back on that comment.I have a different LG technician scheduled to come out tomorrow to evaluate our situation and hopefully he can fix it or get us replacement refrigerator because this one apparently defective. By the way, the refrigerator that we have had to move our food into is a GE Profile that we have had for over 15 years and have never had an issue with.

WE bought LG washer and dryer after building our new home. First time I buy LG and last time. Not only did it smell which I could deal with it by leaving the door open. In December of 2014 it started shaking so bad when spinning. The repair man came and charged me $120.00. The shaking continued and when I called him back he said we had to replace the whole tub, springs___the guts of the machine. Really! For $780 plus dollars. He said after a few years the springs go from round to oval shape and it is a kit, thus the price to replace the whole thing. I said no thank you. I will use it until I cannot stand the shaking and will buy a different brand. This time a top loader. The last one I had last me 17 years and it was a different brand. So I am going back to that brand. After doing some research, I told the repair man I would post this review to tell other women to beware.

Este horno empotrado vino con la casa. Es hermoso. Pero creo que nunca ha funcionado del todo bien. Hay muchas cosas que me gustan: el ajuste de prueba para fermentar el pan, la rejilla para enrollar, el modo de asado por convección. Sin embargo, no mantiene bien la temperatura del horno, se precalienta lentamente y el ventilador es ruidoso. Ahora está totalmente muerto con menos de 6 años, y no calienta en ningún ajuste. Estamos esperando a que nos llamen del servicio técnico, quién sabe cuánto tiempo tardará. No me sorprendería que ya no hubiera piezas disponibles, ya que parece ser un problema de LG y Samsung. Si tenemos que comprar otro horno, no será un LG. Me gustaría poder encontrar una cocina de inducción o de superficie lisa que funcione bien pero que no tenga muchos componentes electrónicos, que parecen ser la perdición de todas las cocinas modernas. Soy un cocinero y panadero con experiencia, pero no me gusta el gas porque tenemos una casa estrecha.

I placed calls to LG to arrange for my 3 year old refrigerator to have a new compressor installed. I had a local company confirm this was the reason for the breakdown. The first call at the beginning of the year did not ever end up with a response or resolution (someone was supposed to contact me). I waited several months and contacted LG again. The support desk had me upload all of my warranty information to their site through a provided link. Again, I was assured that someone would contact me to arrange this repair within a short period of time. Again, this did not ever occur.Today, almost a year later, I have purchased a new appliance because keeping my food in a cooler for 10 months was not an option. I have posted the fridge for scrap on Kijiji and a local person responded within an hour to remove it from my home. Too bad that LG couldnt have responded as efficiently. A lot of wasted money in both purchase price and time trying to resolve/arrange the warranty.My questions are these. How is it that a manufacturer is not held accountable for failure to provide what they are legally responsible for? What recourse is there when this process fails? At what point does one give up because they have spent hours and hours trying to get the warranty service? Like many Canadians, I am a working individual and dont have endless hours to dedicate to continued follow-up. Appliances are expensive purchases yet there seems to be no process where the companies are made responsible for providing the warranty coverage they espouse. My hope is that this changes in the future.

He replaced the compressor and left saying it will take some time to cool. The next day it was hotter than before inside. I called him and he came back next day to find a clog and a broken pipe. He had me send the original receipt. He submitted it to deem the fridge unable to be fixed and needing replacement.Apparently, the entire process can take up to two weeks... so I am to go without a fridge for that long. I purchased a mini fridge, but I€m sure LG will not be reimbursing me for that either. As well, LG ONLY reimburses you what they deem the refrigerator is now worth, since it is 3 years old. Yet, I have seen statements by LG in warranties and online that are misleading about this €replacement€.Lastly, I have a dead, large refrigerator sitting here and no information on LG picking this up. Even if I wanted to go buy a replacement prior to LG getting through their long approval process AFTER the tech explained it all, I can€t!!! I am single and have no way to remove it. LG - You owe me the money that I spent on this refrigerator just 3 years ago, plus the cost of the mini fridge I had to buy. And you need to remove this worthless fridge this week! I have never had so many issues with a refrigerator (even 10yrs old), much less all of the trouble I€m having to go through for this lemon product I was sold!Original review: It seems my refrigerator will fall under the same bucket of consumers that have started the class action lawsuit! I bought the LG Side by Side Refrigerator in Stainless Steel in May of 2016. It has suddenly just stopped cooling. Opened my freezer to find melted food all over and had to throw out hundreds of dollars of food from the freezer and fridge!Contacted LG on Saturday and they said I only have warranty to replace for 1 yr. Some parts are warrantied for 5 yrs and some 13, though. The rep was scripted and seemed annoyed if I asked any questions about best temperature, etc. So, not a great experience with their customer support after their appliance fails after only 3 yrs! She did give me a €courtesy€ one-time free service call. But, who knows how much it will cost in the end, nor how long parts will take.I€m fairly certain the compressor went bad, due to the symptoms and fact that coils are cleaned. The model I bought had the linear compressor - which I was sold on by Home Depot as being great per warranty and reliability. Upon now reading the class action suit that€s ongoing... the issue is these linear compressors failing at 3 yrs on average!I will never buy an LG appliance again! I bought their washer and dryer and the dryer stopped working in 1 yr and 1 month after purchase. That also required repair and I was without a dryer for over a week. I€m single and facing upcoming lay-offs at my job. In all my 44 yrs, I have never had any issues like this with a refrigerator, or dryer (even at 10+ years!). I have already lost money from all my food going bad and expensive medication for my pet has also gone bad! LG can€t get anyone out here until Tuesday. They need to do the right thing for customers that experience this with faulty parts, or appliances... without a lawsuit, or hassle!

Compramos otro lavavajillas más caro, no de LG, y pusimos el viejo en nuestro garaje. Nos dijeron que el cheque estaba en el correo. Como no ha llegado ningún cheque, se hizo una llamada de nuevo a LG Corp. ¡¡Nos informaron de que todavía no tienen el DW!! ¡Obviamente, el cheque en el correo era una mentira! ¡¡Llamé al centro de cumplimiento que informó que el DW no ha sido recogido todavía por FedEx, a pesar de que fue recogido en nuestra casa el 1,22!! Es ahora 2,10, cerca de 3 meses desde que esta pesadilla comenzó y estamos fuera de $ 2000 para la compra de 2 lavavajillas ????

Al cabo de unos meses, los mandos empezaron a agrietarse y el laminado barato de acero inoxidable empezó a pelarse. Me puse en contacto con LG y me dijeron que estaban al tanto de un problema con las perillas y que había una perilla más nueva disponible que corregía el problema y que me las enviarían. Aunque era escéptico con la información que me dieron, decidí aceptar su explicación y me enviaron un nuevo juego de mandos. Cuando recibí los pomos nuevos, los comparé con los originales y me di cuenta de que eran exactamente iguales. No había ninguna diferencia. Seguí utilizando los pomos viejos (con mucho cuidado) hasta que terminé la renovación de mi cocina. Una vez terminada la nueva cocina, cambié los pomos por los nuevos. ¿Adivinan qué? Hoy mi mujer ha utilizado el horno para hornear y los nuevos pomos han empezado a pelarse y agrietarse. La encimera y los pomos se limpian todos los días después de cada uso. Ayer estaban bien. Sólo han pasado 45 días desde que los cambié. Son una auténtica porquería. Parece que el horno acumula demasiado calor y es entonces cuando ocurre. No sólo eso, sino que también hay un olor a quemado cuando esto ocurre. Bueno, afortunadamente compré planes de protección extendida para cada electrodoméstico LG que compré en Home Depot. Mañana temprano hablaré por teléfono con ellos para ver qué van a hacer. A estas alturas, después de leer todas las quejas sobre el problema de la perilla, nunca volveré a comprar otro electrodoméstico LG ni tampoco se lo recomendaré a nadie.

My freezer drawer was completely full and all frozen food unthawed, what a mess! All contents of the main refrigerator had to be thrown out. Services calls, replacing parts and replacing the lost food turns into an expensive venture. Extremely disappointed that manufacturers are unable to produce quality appliances in todays world. I am certain Quality Control does not exist at LG. They know how to assess a price tag and take the consumers money!

Llamamos a LG y verificaron que era un problema del compresor, pero tuvimos que pagar de nuestro bolsillo el coste de la visita del técnico y el coste de la reparación mientras ellos suministraban la pieza. El técnico vino y en menos de 20 minutos dijo que era un compresor. El coste de esos 20 minutos fue de 85 dólares. El coste del servicio del técnico para realizar el trabajo, 890 dólares. El coste del compresor de LG es de menos de 260 dólares. A ese precio, prefiero comprar un frigorífico nuevo. Llamé y me quejé a LG. Me dieron otros 3 técnicos PERO tendré que pagar nuevos costes de mano de obra. Me dijeron que podía explicarles que ya estaba diagnosticado, a lo que todos los técnicos dijeron que esto es falso y que tendrán que realizar su propio diagnóstico.1 de ellos no contestó, el otro dijo que no ha tocado el frigorífico LG en más de 7 años y que no quiere hacerlo. Llamé a LG porque no conseguía nada y me aconsejaron que podía llamar a cualquier técnico local y que ellos aprobarían al técnico para realizar el servicio. He llamado a unos 6 lugares locales y TODOS ellos no quieren tocar el refrigerador LG. Todos han dicho una cosa u otra sobre los frigoríficos LG. No estoy consiguiendo nada con LG y es un momento muy frustrante para mí y para mi familia que me den largas y no haya nada en el frigorífico. LG ni siquiera me va a reembolsar el coste de la compra hasta que el técnico realice una reparación de 890 dólares de la que ellos sólo tienen que desembolsar 260 dólares... Tengan cuidado, si compran un frigorífico LG, prepárense para las evasivas y para que NINGÚN técnico quiera repararlo y, si lo hacen, el coste será ridículo. Esto es totalmente inaceptable y puedo ver por qué hay una demanda colectiva contra esta empresa. Voy a publicar en todas las redes sociales cómo LG trata a sus clientes en un artículo que saben que es defectuoso. Espero poder disuadir a otros de comprar un frigorífico LG. Sears no quiso enviar a un técnico de servicio a pesar de que me ofrecí a pagar la llamada sabiendo que estaban fuera de garantía. La excusa fue que estaban demasiado lejos de Edmonton. No es demasiado lejos para entregar los electrodomésticos. De todos modos, las dos fuentes de alimentación fallaron y fueron sustituidas por una versión actualizada. Es curioso que sepan que las piezas son defectuosas, pero ni siquiera cubren las piezas defectuosas en garantía. Ambos lavavajillas siguen teniendo muchos códigos de error y fallan a mitad de ciclo más del 50% de las veces. A nadie en LG o Sears parece importarle, así que supongo que cuando mueran por completo los reemplazaré por otra marca y a través de un minorista que no sea Sears que acepte darles servicio en mi área por escrito antes de la compra. After six attempts to fix it, LG decided to deem it normal rather than fixing the problem. A few weeks after owning this refrigerator, water started dripping from the water filter inside the refrigerator. LG refused to fix this issue and told me that I would have to pay for the repair.In my interactions with LG, the customer service supervisor was demeaning, condescending, rude, and unhelpful. I wrote LG corporate headquarters to notify them of my horrible experience with LG and to ensure that they knew that I was unhappy with their product and their customer service. Their response was that the refrigerator was working as designed. They never apologized for my experience. After owning this refrigerator for less than 3 months and it never working right, I decided to call the place that I purchased to exchange to a different brand. I will never purchase any LG product again and I would recommend that you look at a different brand like KitchenAid or Kenmore.

Nadie puede decirlo, pero supuestamente, espero que el segundo centro de servicio pueda lograr lo que el primer centro de servicio no pudo hacer - programar una cita de servicio. Después de 2 semanas y media de evasivas y mentiras por parte de LG, he terminado de intentar que me reparen la secadora en garantía. Voy a morder la bala y llamar a un servicio de reparación para reparar mi secadora de 9-10 meses de edad de mi propio bolsillo. También me gustaría señalar que nuestro caso no es un caso aislado. Había un defecto en el frigorífico que hacía que la máquina de hielo se congelara y expulsara agua por la tubería de agua desde la parte trasera del frigorífico, provocando la inundación. Tengo un suelo de madera en la cocina y la madera se alabeó y se levantó debajo y delante del frigorífico. Sears vino a reparar y el técnico provocó un cortocircuito en la placa electrónica y todo el frigorífico se apagó. Tuvimos que esperar a que nos pidieran la pieza. Así que nos quedamos sin frigorífico durante días y con el suelo de madera destrozado. En resumen, se instaló la pieza correcta y el frigorífico volvió a funcionar, pero llevó semanas y mucha documentación y correspondencia entre mi persona, Sears y la sede central de LG para determinar quién era el culpable y quién sería responsable de sustituir el suelo. Fue un tiempo muy frustrante y enloquecedor. Otra cosa sobre el frigorífico LG, hace unos meses me di cuenta de que la pintura de las asas se está desconchando y ablandando. Theres mucho pelado ya y mucho con rasguños largos de las uñas que alcanzan para la manija. No se como arreglarlo para que no se vea tan feo y no quiero tener que tratar con Sears o LG por esto.

Me puse en contacto con LG el 21 de agosto de 2020 y me confirmaron que la unidad estaba en garantía y enviaron a un técnico local para que viniera el 27 de agosto de 2020. El técnico vino según lo previsto y básicamente dijo que LG es conocida por fabricar compresores defectuosos y que tenía otras 40 casas esperando compresores. Hice un seguimiento semanal pero las piezas estaban pendientes de entrega. El 9,11,2020 recibí una llamada diciendo que podrían volver para arreglar la unidad el 9,17,2020. El 9,17,2020 el técnico llegó y dijo que el problema no era el compresor sino el tanque que contiene el refrigerante. Dijo que debería tener la pieza en 2-3 días. Después de 5 días de no saber nada de ellos, hablé con la sede central de LG, que confirmó que el técnico local no conocía el problema, por lo que enviaron a otro técnico local para que llegara el 25 de septiembre de 2020. El técnico no llegó el 9,25,2020, así que llamé de nuevo a la sede de LG y me dijeron que el técnico había cancelado la cita, pero que no sabían por qué no me lo habían comunicado. My parents purchased one of the models that has been recalled (WT5101HV Serial No. 007KWYP02018), about 18 months ago. The machine was acting up, and they just got the letter about 2 months ago. We called LG and scheduled to have a technician come out, and they did the software patch download. This was a joke! It did not fix the problem, instead it only perpetuated it. Now, instead of the wash load spinning rapidly out of balance.... it spins much more slowly and still out of balance! In addition, the wash and rinse cycles still do not work properly. The machine starts the normal wash cycle, and never drains any of the soapy water! Instead, it keeps adding more and more water (just like before). It only drains all of the dirty soapy water (very slowly) at the end of the Full wash/rinse/and softener cycle. And it never properly spins the wet clothes to remove excess dirty water. This process takes 3 times as long as before, and the clothes never come out totally clean. A simple load can take all day to complete! They are ready to Dump the unit in the ocean! Does anyone know if there is any kind of class action or formal legal group that is trying to get LG to make customers whole?

I have absolutely no complaints about it. Theres nothing that I dislike about refrigerator. I would like to try to a digital one someday though. Después de poco más de un año, el dispensador de agua decidió encenderse solo e inundar la cocina, el sótano y estropear el suelo. Una llamada a LG no dio más resultado que la recomendación de un técnico. Vino y dijo que había que reiniciarlo. Lo hizo y dijo que estaba arreglado. Antes de que pudiera guardar sus herramientas y darnos la factura, el dispensador de agua se volvió a encender solo. Me hizo cerrar el suministro de agua, dijo que iba a buscar algunas piezas y nunca volvió. Sin factura, sin word.... Se fue. Bueno, durante los últimos 2 años hemos hecho hielo con una máquina de hielo. Tercer strike. Recientemente, el acero negro ha comenzado a pelar de la nevera. Es literalmente negro envoltura de saran. Hemos utilizado nada más que agua y una toalla de papel para limpiarlo por temor a arruinar el acabado. ¿Alguien más ve una tendencia aquí. This started from the beginning and I called LG and every time they came out it would not duplicate. Finally after months of this and many phone calls to LG, they actually replaced it. Same thing. I just gave up and have been dealing with this washer for about 4 years now, waiting till it completely dies and I can buy a new washer. I sure do miss my old Kenmore that had a ringer in the middle. That one got my clothes clean. There is never enough water to get the clothes really clean, if and when it finishes washing which takes double time because it stops and starts over. The only setting I use is the bulky/bedding one because it uses the most water. I can never leave the house once I start a load, because it would never finish. Thankfully its only me, dont wash much and I sit near it, so I can hear when it ** up. The clothes smell moldy after washing them, and the machine is always smelly after a wash. I hate this piece of crap.

Our service provider who was referred by Home Warranty of America (also a horrible warranty company) ordered the wrong part which will take another 7-10 days to get the part. I am livid and fed up. Also, our fickle LG dishwasher has been giving us problems since the day we moved in. It turns on when it wants to. We have to constantly reset the breaker for it to function properly.

The first time we tried to wash a load of clothes, it flooded our washroom. When it entered it spin cycle, it jumped around on the floor and hit the dryer. We contacted Home Depot (where we purchased it along with matching dryer and extended warranties). They immediately started putting us off on a repair shop, LG, and had the delivery company insurance take responsibility for the flooding. The repair shop is so busy that we were not able to get an appointment for 3 weeks. They have tried to repair this washer four times UNSUCCESSFULLY. Each time it takes two to three weeks for the next service appointment.LG does not want to bear any responsibility for producing a faulty, dangerous washer. Each time we try to speak with them they never return calls or put us off on Home Depot, who put us off on them and the Repair company. This is a new Washer that has never washed a load of clothes with an extended warranty. This has been the worst customer service experience we have ever had and the fact that it has come from two major Companies (LG and Home Depot) is really surprising. Note: we have another appointment scheduled a week from now (some progress). Washer - WM3370HRA, Dryer - DLEX3370R.

No quiero esa unidad en mi casa. He pasado varias horas acumuladas en el teléfono tratando de obtener una nueva unidad. La unidad sólo costó 200 dólares, y sin embargo han enviado a gente de reparación a mi casa. El coste del tiempo de reparación ha superado el coste de la mercancía y, debido a la frustración, LG ha creado un consumidor que nunca comprará otro producto LG. Los pobres representantes del servicio de atención al cliente deben odiar su trabajo. No están capacitados para ayudar realmente al consumidor. After 2 failed attempts, an independent non-LG tech finally diagnosed compressor failure. LG phone techs may be trained to downplay the situation, because the repair tech said he diagnoses 5 and replaces at least 3 of these a day. They cannot keep up with the work and LG wont hire more repairmen. Took another 5 days for parts to arrive and then schedule a repair day. Meanwhile I am living with NO FRIDGE and now LG says they will NOT reimburse me for the mini fridge we had to buy (not to mention all the bagged ice Ive had to purchase too!) The best we can do is send you a check for $100 for food reimbursement. I spent $1500 on a refrigerator from you and thats the best you can do???Compressor was finally replaced today and repairman said, I dont trust the new compressor either, so dont put any food in it for at least 48 hours till youre sure its operating correctly. Yikes. This has been such a disillusioning experience, I have praised LG products to anyone asking for recommendations, but I will not anymore due to the TERRIBLE customer service I received!! Refrigerators, and appliances in general, are designed these days to break and NOT be repaired. If thats the case, then the price should reflect a disposable product, not the thousands they do cost. LG is not standing behind their product, but rather hiding behind untrained techs who speak so politely, yet do not disseminate truthful information to frustrated customers looking for help from the company they trusted with their hard-earned money. El 31 de diciembre, el fontanero y el instalador de gas vinieron a mi casa, inspeccionaron la cocina y dijeron que era defectuosa y que había que cambiarla. Me dijeron que tenía que ponerme en contacto con LG y así lo hice. LG tardó hasta el día 1,4 en enviar a su representante que es ASAP solutions. ASAP solutions inspeccionó la cocina y dijo que necesitaba un nuevo encendedor y un colector. Evidentemente, había lo que ellos llaman un boletín en esta nueva gama de 2200 dólares. En otras palabras, tenía piezas defectuosas que se sabían que eran defectuosas cuando compré la cocina, por la que esperé varias semanas ya que estaba en pedido pendiente. De hecho, la cocina no se fabricó hasta octubre de 2020 y se envió desde Corea. En lugar de reemplazar la cocina, el representante de LG de ASAP Solutions dijo que iban a reemplazar el encendedor y el colector. Me dijeron que tardarían como mucho una semana en pedir las piezas y reparar la cocina. Esa semana ya ha pasado y el subcontratista de LG ni siquiera responde a mis correos electrónicos sobre cuándo se resolverá el problema. Me gustaría añadir que comprendo que estamos en medio de una pandemia y que esto no es lo habitual. He tenido que pedir a numerosas personas que vinieran a mi casa, a expensas de la salud de mi propia familia, para pasar por este proceso y seguir sin tener un campo de tiro que funcione. No he tenido una gama de trabajo desde el 16 de diciembre de 2020 antes de la entrega de esta gama muy caro que nunca ha funcionado, y por cierto, he comprado una garantía extendida. Si se me permite, también me gustaría añadir que mi familia ha tenido que ir sin una gama durante las vacaciones y no parece haber ninguna resolución a la vista.

La tercera rejilla era un dolor de cabeza porque no cabían los vasos en la rejilla del medio, y cuando se intenta ajustar la rejilla se colapsa y no mantiene nada en su sitio. Las rejillas abatibles están mal diseñadas - han resultado ser una pesadilla. No se bloquean y siguen colapsando cuando se cargan platos y tazas en la lavadora. La rejilla superior, que debía sostener los cuchillos finos y los utensilios para servir, no se mantiene conectada a los accesorios laterales y las cosas que se cargan aquí se desconectan y caen en el compartimento principal para ser sacadas de la rejilla más baja. Han resultado ser una gran decepción. A veces hay que luchar contra el dispensador de jabón para que se cierre. Upon the washing machine acting up and not draining after about 10 or 11 months, we called LG support to get it corrected, was when we were informed it was almost two years old. Even when we had it less than a year. The washing machine had OE and UE errors popping up interrupting the spin cycle continuously, requiring resetting and restarting in the spin cycle. The first tech diagnosed it needed a stator, ordered that to our house and installed it, problem continued. LG schedule second tech service company, who diagnosed, after reading bulletin stator replacement no longer done, but circuitry parts. Ordered two, parts came to house and third person came in only installed one circuit, stating I needed two separate circuits for washer and dryer. Problem continued. LG was notified and I was informed the previous appliance service technicians came from an appliance service company that they can no longer recommend. Plus since this problem has extended past the original warranty I needed to get an extension, which was done at no cost, to cover the next service person. A third appliance company, who came today and diagnosed Pipe in house will not let unit drain, gets pressure build up and no drain. Customer needs plumber. Nothing wrong with unit.€ I immediately returned home and showed the tech the fault of his diagnosis by detaching the drain from the drain pipe in the house and connecting the cold water feed to the drain pipe and had it run for several minutes. THEN he said, I dont know what to tell you. Then he said my pipe was too high, so I pulled out the manual nearby and NOPE the pipe length was well within the distance in the manual. Wrong again. The machine works he said, when you dont connect it to the drain pipe, so it€s a drain problem he said. Nothing wrong with the machine when you disconnect it and let it run in a garbage barrel, he said. What are you talking about, the machine worked for like 10 or 11 months and now this problem wont go away and you are saying that the problem is not with the machine? €Oh it tries to send the water up but it can only send so much, then it figures it cant then it shuts down.€ €Oh,€ I said, €then it€s a sensor problem, or a computer problem.€ €No there is nothing wrong with the machine, when you disconnect the pipe into a garbage barrel.€ How does this continue on? €Oh, Ill have my boss give you a call, because I cant fix a problem that isnt there.€ There were also suggestions to re-route my drain pipe through the basement window opening, creating a new larger pipe, but his suggestions simply met deaf ears by that time. So after he leave and here I am at the Consumer Affairs site reading all the numerous complaints and I find one service tech diagnosed a pressure switch as the problem, which under warranty I would welcome before I send this unit to the scrap heap.

He came to the first appointment right on time, diagnosed the broken line, and said he would order the part and call when it came in and to set the next appointment. Great! Well this was on Tuesday, it is now Saturday. I decided to call to see what is going on. I got a hold of the customer service rep and he advised me that the appointment was set for today being Saturday, between 1 and 3. I let him know that I had not received any call to set up any appointments, but OK Im home. It is now 5:30 pm, Saturday and no repair man, no call. I called Customer Service and the rude woman on the phone said he will be there between 1 and 5 pm. I explained to her the time I was told and she proceeds to argue with me, so I bit my lip and said OK. I called at 5:45 pm because we are getting ready to make dinner and didnt want to be in the techs way and him in ours. I believe I got the same rude person and she said he will be there when he gets there. Lessons learned: (1) dont purchase anything from Lowes (Lowes did say I could bring it back, which is a hassle because it is full and I dont have anywhere to put the food); (2) dont buy anything from LG. Horrible customer service.

I also am not a huge fan of the way the water lines need to be cleaned out. If you dont leave the door wide open, it gets a funky moldy smell. I want it to be within my price range and large enough to do my familys laundry. I prefer name brands with reputations for quality and longevity. Regular repairs would make me flip. The washers are expensive enough as is that I dont need to be spending MORE money to fix it.

This time it was 9 days before the technician arrived.By then it had spontaneously started working again so she refused to do anything. We paid over $100 for this. Now 1 month later its done again. We were told this is how its designed to work and there is nothing they can do. If this is true no one should ever buy LG. They design to cost you hundreds of dollars and dont back up their appliances. Cant wait to see how long it takes to get a technician and what they will do or not do this time. Each time we seem to have to pay more money plus we never seem to qualify for the supposed $200 in food recompense.

He ordered parts and came back on Nov.12 and put the one part in and said he made sure the refrigerator was reprogrammed. He had ordered a new cover dispenser because the one on the refrigerator had turn black but they had sent the wrong part so he said he would be back Nov. 23 to install it. That evening when I started to get water there was Er under the word refrigerator and rf under the word freezer. I couldnt get water or ice. I unplugged the refrigerator and plugged it back in and it started to work. Every time I go to get water I have to do the same thing. I called back thinking it only needed to be reprogrammed again but couldnt get them to send someone out because the man who came the first time was scheduled to come back on Nov.23 even though I was told that someone would come on today Nov.19 but didnt show. Now the freezer keeps thawing and refreezing the food. The refrigerator will cool but not get cold. I have lost so much food not once but twice. Your service is very slow and your product is very poor. I will never buy another LG anything.

LG was telling us that Best Buy was responsible even though its on paper that the compressor is LGs responsibility. They did not want to give me what I paid for and deserved. Either a repair in a timely manner or a replacement. After 3 weeks and help from Best Buy I finally got approved for a new refrigerator. And needless to say I did not get a LG this time around. I wouldnt buy an alarm LG alarm clock.

I now have to look at the owner€s manual to make sure I am using the correct cycle because the panel is unreadable. Then, after about a year and a half, I had to replace the drain pump. And of course, I have the smell and mold issue no matter what I use / how often I clean it. So, I have a very expensive, top-of-the-line appliance that I hate. My old $500 top load machine was still going strong after almost 20 years - wish I still had it! No more LG products for me...

The maintenance required for routine use is more than one would expect for an appliance such as a washing machine. The machine routinely soils and streaks clothes and has ruined countless garments despite the suggested tub cleaning, wiping down, and costly extra tub cleaner. Additionally, the washer often leaks soapy water into the floor despite the use of HE detergent, meticulous measuring of detergent so as not to overfill. Now I must wash only small loads to keep leakage to a minimum--one of the big selling points was the ability to efficiently do large loads. Over recent days, I have had consistent leaking. I suspect we may have water damage below the floor, but no visible staining of the lower ceiling as of yet. I am constantly washing towels that I have to use to clean up the mess from routine use of the appliance. This product is a lemon. There should be some sort of buy back or trade in for some other, more useful washing machine.

The night before it was to be serviced the refrigerator stops working altogether. I call the service company to give them a heads up that more parts will be needed only to be informed that LG doesnt give the repair service parts until theyve been out to analyze the problem. The service representative comes out and says its the power circuit board and orders a new one that takes four weeks to receive; another week to arrange the service appointment. The service rep (Jeff a good guy) returns to installs the boards and tells us all is well. The ice maker worked for three days and then stopped. I call the repair shop and was told that service cant come back out because LG has closed the ticket; so I have to call LG again. Jeff comes out to analyze the lingering problem to get the replacement part. We were told that the part is back ordered and expected delivery will be a month. Two months roll by without the delivery of the part. It is now July and the ice maker remains inoperable. While waiting for the part, in May we called the service shop to voice our concern about not having our functioning ice maker. The service shop told us that LG was likely going to replace or refund us for our refrigerator since the part is taking so long to arrive. We called LG and they said they needed a copy of our receipts for the refrigerator and they would send us a link to the LG service department. A couple of weeks later the service shop called and asked what was the status of the LGs replacement or refund on this ticket. I told the service shop I was still waiting for a link from LG to send receipts. She told me I should call LG again, which I did. LG said I had given them the wrong email address (my email address is my first and last name so essentially they were telling me I didnt know how to spell my last name). When I questioned why they thought I couldnt spell my last name and asked them to take ownership of the error they hung up on me. I sent in the copies of my receipts. LG never got back to me (as I had been promised). I asked them today (about a month after they had received the receipts) what was happening in regards to my replacement or refund and they said that since the part should be in next week, a replacement or refund was rejected. This action from LG is probably just a delaying tactic on their part. Ive been hung up on about six times from their warranty service, usually after being on hold for over fifteen minutes just waiting for them to pick up after a transfer. They have promised me a call back on several occasions and I have yet to receive a call from them. Their product seems to be of low quality based on it failing within the first six months of operation. Their warranty service would have to improve several steps to make it up to pathetic. I strongly suggest buying from a different brand.

Well, Ive finally had it with this machine. We bought it & the matching electric dryer from former homeowners when we bought their house. Guess we should have done more research into the plethora of problems these sorry excuse for an appliance really have. These junkers wouldve been out on the road the second we moved in. First, within a month the dryer died. One morning I turned it on & it started smoking, so that was that. Out to the curb! Next, we had been using the LG steam washer for about 4 months & continually noticed water on the floor around it. Never really found where it was coming from other than a drip streak down the side around the detergent drawer where you add the soap/bleach. Another issue was the door lock kept malfunctioning & wouldnt let the load run unless you either slammed the door shut or put pressure on it with your knee when it was trying to lock. Then the thing would sound like a 747 taking off when it was in spin mode. It would shake violently & eventually wake up the baby with its deafening whir. Finally, it showed an error message saying the pump wasnt able to drain the tub because of a clog or something. So I got on my hands & knees to screw open the drain trap & 5 gallons of water came gushing out all over the floor. There is a small rubber hose down there also, but when I took out the plug on the end of it no water drained out. What gives LG? Do you need a wet/dry vac at the ready to do this procedure or a stack of towels so you dont trash the floor? Very poor design! And doing this did absolutely nothing. Same error code came up & the pump just sickly rumbled. So it is now out on the curb also awaiting a trip to the dump where it belongs. Please, everyone, do not buy these piece of refuse appliances from LG. You will only bring upon yourself great pain & grief. Time to break out the old GE top loader that I know works fine. Glad I held onto it for back up. DONT BUY LG!!!

After seeing pictures of the damage, they said it wasnt a manufacturers defect and things eventually begin to fail. Please consider another brand if youre buying a fridge. LG couldnt care less about a dangerous event, or working with a customer to resolve an issue.

I am not one to leave reviews for products... especially negative ones. But I have been so frustrated with our customer service at LG that I figured this was my only recourse. We have an LG refrigerator that is less than four years old. We paid about $2500 for it. We kept the one year warranty that came with it when we purchased it new. Within six months we had to use the warranty because something went wrong with the ice maker. It was frustrating that we had to wait about a week to get it fixed, but it was fixed with no cost to us as it was under warranty and all of the service and product was covered.Since then, the middle plastic drawer in the freezer broke and we eventually ended up just removing it from the freezer. Most recently our ice maker stopped working and eventually the refrigerator stopped cooling. After making no less than six phone calls to customer service and following their trouble shooting, we finally had to call a local service provider. The problem was that we could not find anyone in our area who worked with LG. Literally every place we called stated that LG was difficult to work with and their systems were difficult to diagnose. We found an LG certified technician about 45 minutes away but they wanted $200 plus mileage to come out and look at it. (Our one year warranty was up, so the only parts covered were the compressor and coils. Service was no longer covered).After making several more phone calls to LG, they told me that if I could find someone to look at it, then they would work with that technician to help us get it fixed. All I needed to do was to give them the contact information of the provider that we were going to use. Even after I did this, they told me that it would take 3-5 business days for them to approve the technician (at this point it has already been 4 weeks without use of our refrigerator). I asked for a supervisor and the policy was that they could not give me the direct number of a supervisor, that I had to wait for a phone call in return. I am a physician and do not have access to my phone during most of the day. When the supervisor did call back, she did not leave a return phone number, nor did she answer my question and instead, just reiterated that it would be 3-5 days for them to approve our technician.When the technician did come out, he discovered that there was a blockage within the sealed system that was causing the Freon to not move freely throughout the unit. His recommendation was to junk our refrigerator because he would have to completely take apart the sealed system and stated that this was too difficult. In his words no one in their right mind would take this apart and fix it and left it up to me to deal with LG because of past experience, he would not work with them.After more phone calls to LG and them refusing to provide me with the service department number (citing privacy policy), their solution was to call an LG certified technician. So I was back to calling the person who charged $200 plus mileage (the only one I could find within 60 miles who would come look at it). When I spoke with the technician on the phone, they indicated that they do sealed system work because LG wants to uphold their warranty. It was going to be a minimum of $400 to take apart the refrigerator and could be up to $1200 because it was so labor intensive. Keep in mind, that I spoke to several technicians who stated that they would total it, but the LG certified technician was the only one who would do the work.We have decided to just junk our refrigerator and buy a new one that is NOT LG. This is ridiculous because our fridge is less than 4 years old and we have already had these three major issues. In all of the phone calls to the LG customer service department, not once did I get any empathy or an apology for what we were dealing with. Not one customer service representative offered an alternative solution. They provided only barriers for us to get our refrigerator fixed. As I shared our story with our friends and family, we heard other experiences of very poor customer service and products through LG and we will never buy an LG product again.

My repairman told me that they have this problem since the refrigerator came to the market. I have paid hundreds of dollars in service calls, and the last time I spoke to their customer service department I was met with complete indifference. I was told that there was nothing they could do for me. Another issue is with this unit is poorly designed; it has a very flimsy hardware for the crisper drawers that keep coming off the rails. That issue was also not acknowledged.

In my first call to LG, they immediately offered me a compensation check to have a repairman fix it. I agreed to this. Then LG transferred me to their parts and repair dept. The person in parts and repair said it couldnt be repaired, because it was not installed yet, even though it is just the oven door. At this point LG customer service number was closed for the day.December 16 - I called Home Depot service back first to get help. They personally called LG and had a ticket created in the LG system for replacement instead. They said in about three days I would get a call to schedule the new range delivery. December 21 - I hadnt heard from LG yet, so I called them. They said a manager there had cancelled my replacement ticket without calling me to let me know(!), because I had been issued a damages check, and I could no longer get a replacement. I explained that LG Parts and Service told me I could not have it repaired, because it wasnt installed. LG said they would send an independent technician out and they would decide whether it can be repaired without installation. December 26 - Technician is no call, no show.December 27 - Technician comes out, tells me LG will probably just issue a replacement, he has to submit a claim. He will call me in about 3 hours with an answer. I dont know what this means for the damages check they were going to issue? December 29 - I start calling the repair company back for an answer. I talk to someone there 1-2 times a day thereafter, each time they say they dont have an answer, but will in a few hours. January 5 - I give up, the appliance repair service isnt calling me back. I call LG, say I dont think a claim was ever submitted on the oven door. The notes in the system at LG now seem to indicate I was in the process of a replacement, rather than repair? NOW, three weeks later, they say a replacement *can* be done (I am not confident I will receive the damages check anyhow). I am fed up, I tell them I want that damages check at this point, so they will have to find another company to repair it.They transferred me to LG parts and service. I asked parts and service if they can simply send me a new oven door, and I will send the old door back? There are two metal clips that hold the door on, you just flip them up and slide it out, I believe its designed this way so you can take the door off to clean it. They will not let me handle this. I am given the name and number for a new repair company, and told they will be in contact with me ASAP. The new repair company hasnt contacted me yet, and isnt answering their phone right now. Both repair companies have very low ratings online, complaints through the BBB as well - though with something this simple, I dont really care - as long as they can repair it quickly. That doesnt appear to be a possibility. The LG repair and service escalated my request, which was supposed to lead to a callback from an executive team within 48 hours. They never called back.January 8 - The Twitter account for LG helps me in a direct message, which was more effective than any phone call I placed. They arranged an LG employee technician in my area to repair the oven door. The Twitter account person said it was requested the parts be pre-ordered, repair date is January 15. January 14 - I installed the oven in preparation for arrival of my new oven door parts. January 15 - The LG technician calls and says we have to reschedule because of a back injury. 1/19 was my new date he gave me... But then I asked if he pre-ordered parts. They were not pre-ordered. The technician checked stock in your system for the door glass. There is no stock available on the door glass, he doesnt know if there WILL be stock on the door glass in the near future, but he has put the order in now. He said to check back in two days for a status whether there will be glass.I made a big mistake installing the oven beforehand. I followed up with the Twitter account person, who was helpful again, but said the system indicates he has not ordered the glass yet. January 17 - The second outside repair shop, which I never was able to get ahold of, showed up at my house while no one was home, called me and said they were there to fix the range! They said LG (India call center, parts and repair) set up the appointment date and time. No one from LG called me about there being an appointment scheduled. I told them I have a factory tech already scheduled, they didnt have parts to fix it anyways.January 19 - When I check the online status, the technician still has me listed as a scheduled repair today. However, the status of the parts are still back ordered days later. How are there not parts available? 5 weeks as of today. Update: spoke to tech, parts are back ordered until at least the end of February. If the parts and service had told me this 5 weeks ago, the first time I spoke with them, I wouldve demanded a new oven. I assume I will be able to get a new oven, has not happened yet though.

Has ice maker with cubes or crushed ice. Everything fresh and cold, space for eggs and produce. Able to hold milk in the door. Doors fit salad dressing and the smaller bottle that need to be refrigerated. Freezer a little small seems like hard to put larger items in the freezer one or maybe 2 larger meat items. Small drawer can hold vegetables and popsicle ice cream bars but its a little small.

He pagado más de 1.000 dólares por esta chatarra. La única solución que me dieron fue ir a una ferretería y conseguir un artículo que se pone en el lavavajillas y se supone que lo limpia. No hace falta decir que todavía no puedo usar mi lavavajillas. Cuando compré todos mis electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable se suponía que esto era lo mejor. Vivo de la Seguridad Social y me va a costar mucho ir a comprar uno nuevo. No será un LG. Yo lavaba literalmente los platos antes de usar el lavavajillas. Ahora cuando lavo los platos a mano al menos sé que están limpios. Estoy muy disgustada con este producto. Nunca me he quejado a los consumidores pero en este caso tengo que hacerlo. Tengan cuidado y si se deciden por un LG asegúrense de tener una garantía extendida muy larga.

I personally like a side by side refrigerator. I also like several color choices, it is very much appreciated if the refrigerator is on sale as well. Also I like easy to change water filters. I do not like when the filter is at the bottom of the door on the refrigerator. Its too hard to get down there. I like the filter by the ice machine.

LG was very difficult to deal with for warranty and repairs as only 1 company in our province will fix LG! And that company was not very professional or accountable with the repairs. We went months without the use of our appliances as a result and LG never compensated us for these major disruptions in our lives! And not to mention all the time missed off work to meet the repair people and there were many appointments. I have since looked on the internet about other peoples experiences with LG and there are so many similar stories of terrible products and terrible service. Never will I buy another LG product again. I always bought Kenmore before and had no problems.

Purchased in 2015 to replace a 10+ year old GE. Worst mistake we ever made was to spend $2700 on an LG 3 French Door model number: LFXS30766S /02. I am going to spare you the long version. After 18 mos the water dispenser stopped working and we were told it was not repairable. We kept using the ice maker but it began to lock up due to ice build up with every filling. We battled that for six months and decided to just turn the water off to the unit. Today - less than 3 years after purchased the unit stopped cooling and we lost most everything in the freezer and refrigerator. What a piece of junk!! We will NEVER EVER EVER buy anything from LG EVER AGAIN!!!

Then I bought this LG refrigerator and the compressor failed in it. But I called LG and it was handled the best way it could€ve been handled. I was very impressed. And service tech came out and fixed it. He was very professional and very good. He put a new compressor in it and the difference is night and day. The refrigerator has been running great since then and they got a loyal LG customer now because of the way they handled the whole situation. They backed the product, so I don€t have a problem and I€ll buy another one. My wife even told me that I had to talk to somebody and tell them how the experience was and how well it was handled.

Al principio estábamos muy disgustados porque nuestro costoso frigorífico LG se rompió después de 3,2 años, lo que nos dejó sin neveras durante una semana, perdiendo el 80% de los artículos de nuestro frigorífico y congelador debido a su deterioro. Finalmente pudimos hablar con un representante de LG por teléfono en 24 horas para discutir el problema y LG vino y respaldó su producto llevando a cabo una reparación con piezas nuevas mejoradas y una actualización de software para ayudar a eliminar futuros problemas. LG se hizo cargo de la orden de reparación, envió a su técnico interno LG Service Direct a nuestra casa y realizó la reparación. El técnico fue muy profesional y altamente cualificado. La reparación sólo duró 1 hora. Estábamos muy preocupados por si se pedían piezas y había que esperar 1 ó 2 semanas más después de las pruebas de diagnóstico. No es el caso. La reparación se completó el 26 FEB 2020, 6 días después de la rotura. 5 horas después de la finalización de la reparación, la máquina de hielo estaba produciendo hielo, el congelador estaba funcionando y el refrigerador estaba frío. Parece una buena reparación. Me gustaría agradecer a LG su apoyo en este asunto de la reparación de nuestro frigorífico. Esperamos poder disfrutar de nuestros electrodomésticos LG ahora y en el futuro.

Un técnico vino varios días después y determinó que la junta de la bañera había fallado y el agua había destruido el cojinete. Pidió una pieza, que tardó semanas en llegar. Sustituyó la pieza, pero la máquina no funcionaba bien. Intentó desmontar y cambiar la pieza, pero no funcionó. Dijo que se puso en contacto con el servicio de asistencia de LG para técnicos contratados y le dieron varias cosas para probar, pero ninguna funcionó. El técnico hizo un total de 5 visitas antes de decidir cambiar el conjunto de rodamientos y la bañera. Han pasado 3 meses, 90 días, 1,4 años y nada. He llamado numerosas veces a LG y me dan largas. Tienen que esperar un informe de un departamento u otro, tienen que comprobar el pedido de piezas, tienen que ponerse en contacto con el técnico de servicio, me dicen que el técnico se pondrá en contacto conmigo en breve, y así sucesivamente... Cada vez que llamo es la misma rutina.

I went back and read the owners manual to learn how to load this machine. I started being extremely careful in the way I load it and I would only receive the error occasionally (cant wash a mixed of heavy and light weight items-really? I dont know anyone who doesnt wash their hand towels with their bath towels), but now I receive it with every load I run. My husband washed three loads of laundry this past weekend and he also received the ue error. He said it is a piece of junk! I paid a lot of money for this machine and I am ready to throw it out the window! I am done purchasing LG products. On a side note. I am 54, not tall by any means, but I have always been able to reach the bottom of the tub in a washer. I literally have to stand on a stool to remove all of the clothes from this machine. Bad design.

I have the LG model WM2140CW washer and dryer for about 2 years. I have cleaned the gasket, inside of the tub, and door on the washing machine as directed by the manufacturer and run bleach through the tub clean cycle and still cannot get rid of the moldy smell. When cleaning the gasket, I noticed mold and mildew on the gasket and have cleaned them with modified bleach and even used Q-tips to remove the mold, it just comes back. Even after you wipe the gaskets off after each wash, you cannot get all of the mold out of the gaskets and this transfers to your clothes, sometimes needing to be rewashed 2 or 3 times. I keep the door open for ventilation but there is no way for the gasket area to stay completely dry. The smell is so bad at times you have to close the laundry room door to keep it from reeking into the rest of the house. I am calling for service this week but I know what they are going to tell me which is exactly what I have been doing. I would not recommend this LG set to anyone. I plan on going back to a top loading washer just to get the smell out of my house and clothes. As far as the dryer, I have to run it 2 to 3 times just to get clothes dry. Avoid LG at all costs.

Bought 11/18/12, this will be my third repair. The first was the ice-maker which was replaced at no charge - that was 11/14 - 2 years after purchase. The second was the fan which was making such a loud noise that I could hear it in the other room. That was repaired 2/15 and I had to pay for it. Now the fan did the same thing - a horrendous noise, and now my refrigerator button reads ER and my freezer, RF. I spoke with LG Cust. Service who told me I would have to pay for the repair; next I asked for a supervisor and they eventually connected me with an executive agent. I waited on the line for 15 minutes before anyone picked up. She told me if I faxed her my receipt, they would pay for the repair. My telling her that this refrigerator was 2 years 8 months old made no difference. When I faxed over the receipt, I called them to make sure they had it and someone else set up an appointment, after much trying - since it was the Thursday before July 4th, for repair on Tuesday July 7. I received a phone call today that the company cant make it on Tuesday, now its Thursday. I have lost most of my food and I have had it. This product is garbage and no one should sell it. I will tell EVERYONE I know never to buy anything that is LG.

Mientras escribo esto hoy (19 de febrero de 2021), ¡todavía no tengo un lavavajillas que funcione después de gastar casi 900 dólares! El primer lavavajillas llegó el 21 de enero de 2021, pero rápidamente me di cuenta de que la unidad no secaba los platos (incluso con el ajuste Extra Dry). Un asociado de electrodomésticos en mi Home Depot local en Austell, GA, el Sr. Scott ** fue muy útil para ayudarme a contactar con LG para informar del problema. LG decidió reemplazar la unidad que fue entregada el 7 de febrero de 2021. Los instaladores me dijeron que no podían instalarla completamente porque está conectada eléctricamente y se supone que no pueden tratar con cables sin algún otro accesorio. ¿Por qué no se me informó de eso de antemano o de los instaladores anteriores? De todos modos, esta segunda unidad tampoco secó mis platos. Llamé al servicio técnico y me dijeron que usara Rinse Aid. No me pareció que tuviera que comprar no sólo detergente para lavavajillas sino también abrillantador. Así que inicialmente me negué a añadir un abrillantador a mi costosa compra de lavavajillas que no funcionaba. Un técnico de reparación fue enviado desde National Platinum Service en Columbus Georgia. Ese técnico llegó 13 minutos antes, tocó mi timbre y se fue 12 minutos antes de la hora de mi ventana de servicio. Enviaron a otro técnico al día siguiente que también me dijo que debía añadir Rinse Aid. Después de hacer muy poco para revisar la unidad me pidió que firmara y se fue. Me di por vencido y compré Rinse Aid y luego puse en marcha mi lavavajillas de nuevo y luego otra vez usando el Rinse Aid y variando los ajustes (como High Temp, Extra Dry, etc). No hubo suerte: ¡los platos, las rejillas y el interior de la unidad están empapados! LG hace que te transfieran a varias personas que, o bien no pueden ver los detalles de mi problema, o bien te mantienen en espera tanto tiempo que cuando alguien habla contigo hay un retraso de audio de 4 segundos añadido a un servicio de atención al cliente poco compasivo. LG dice que no lo reemplazará por un modelo diferente ni me devolverá el dinero, así que estoy atascado con un pisapapeles de 800 dólares. No puedo contactar con el Sr. Scott en Home Depot y LG no cede (porque realmente, realmente deben necesitar mis 800 dólares). Quieren enviar a otro reparador como si yo lo hubiera roto. Esto es terrible.

One week ago, the washer stopped spinning. We replaced the part. This week, the washer wont even turn on. I called the company for the second time. They chose to offer me a phone number of the closest repairperson (like I cant find that myself). I asked to file a complaint. As of today, I have had no one email or call me back. I emailed the company. Still, I heard nothing. These appliances are very expensive and should be lasting a lot longer than 5 years. The last washing machine we had was an inexpensive top loader that we purchased in 1983, and lasted until 2006. This is ridiculous! We also purchased an LG flat screen TV a couple of years ago. I had to replace a part in it already. Its definitely not a good life for anyone, but Lifes Good for the company!

Los mandos de control son completamente inseguros y ponen en serio peligro la vida. LG tiene que retirarlos del mercado. Hay que hacer algo. POR FAVOR.

Sí, lo hacen... cada vez que cargo, cierro, abro o casi cuando respiro al usarlo. Si cargo parcialmente (por supuesto, lo hago) y cierro para esperar más platos futuros, los divisores se caen y los platos y cuencos dan vueltas. Es muy frustrante porque tengo que volver a cargar cada vez que cierro suavemente (si es que llego a ese punto antes de que se caigan). Ahora trabajo a cámara lenta y contengo la respiración cuando la uso. Vamos, que estoy MUY insatisfecha.

Desde el primer día hubo problemas con LG. Los platos no se apilan. Se caen inmediatamente (como fichas de dominó). El portacubiertos funcionó mal casi inmediatamente. Ya no se bloquea para mantener la cesta de utensilios en su lugar. Esto hace que el cesto del extremo (uno de los 4) se vuelque dentro del aparato por el peso. El estante superior organiza vasos, cuencos o tazas. De nuevo, los artículos se caen continuamente. Yo (originalmente) pensé que los tiempos ajustables tanto en el estante superior como en el inferior eran una idea inteligente. Estoy seguro de que se veía bien en el papel, pero es un completo y total fracaso. Nada es seguro. Nada es fiable. ¿Se molesta LG en probar los equipos que construye? Desde el fondo de mi corazón... si ven este lavavajillas a la venta por favor huyan tan rápido como puedan.

The direct-drive motor now makes a very loud grinding noise (even though the motor has a 10-yr warranty). Ive since learned that this is a common issue thats been going on for nearly a year. I called the LG 800# found in the Owners Manual. They scheduled a repair appointment with their third-party repair service (A&E Factory Service, which also goes by the name Sears Appliance Repair... really????). I took the first-available a.m. appointment, thinking thatd increase my chances of them actually showing up.My Service appointment was scheduled for 7am-11am today (Aug 8, 2020). You guessed it... NO ONE showed up, or even bothered to contact me (other than a confirmation text I got yesterday). So I called their 800#, and was on hold an HOUR before getting a live person (guessing lots of people are having similar experiences since their phone lines are so busy??). When I finally get someone, he says he needs to put me on hold while he investigates the issue. But after being on hold another 10 minutes, the line disconnected. So now I have a brand new LG Washing Machine that doesnt work, and LG is taking no responsibility to fix it or replace it.
