On the 27th of this month, I complained to the call center about the drainage problem with the machine and a man came within 48 hours as promised. He did some adjustment and the machine started working. I took AMC on his advice, and the next day I loaded the machine and the problem was there again after half the cycle. Again I had to call the call center on the 29th after 24 hours - the same man came, did the same adjustment and assured me this time he checked it and it wont happen again.But on the next load, the problem was there again. On May 1 I called them again, they gave me the number of the service center but I could not get through. Again, the call center registered my complaint the third time. This time it was an urgent call. They said within 24 hours, someone senior will come but now its more than 30 hours and nobody came. The call center people gave me the no of the area manager and he promised me it will be done today. I am still hopeful, still waiting.
I have a front-load washer that has made me and my family very sick. Before I bought the front-load washer, I called LG customer service to get details on how to not have smell/mold problems in my machine. I was very diligent in cleaning it. I cleaned around the rubber area in the door, I drained the old water, cleaned the filter, cleaned inside the soap area and the took the soap dispenser out and cleaned that too, as well as running the tub clean cycle - using afresh, running it with bleach, running it with vinegar, leaving the door open, using HE soap, etc. I called LG to see what they could do because the smell was in my clean clothes. An LG tech came out to look at the machine regarding the smell and found that I did everything humanly possible to keep it clean. He called LG and they told him to take the tub to a car wash and spray it down (ridiculous).The tech went further, because he knew this would do nothing, and got approval to replace some parts (the back part of the tub had been discontinued???). In cleaning the machine, I watched as black mold and bacteria came out of the hoses and it was on the back of the tub. I took this information to the corporate level and I was told immediately that it was maintenance. I was shocked as to how Tish could tell me that it was my fault immediately without talking to the tech. It was only after I told her that the tech said that it was going to come back again, that she called him. After being left on hold for 15 mins., she got back on the phone and said that she spoke to the tech, his manager, and her manager, and that they were going to review my case.Well 1 week later I called back; Tish told me that they werent going to do anything. She said after talking to their legal department they decided that it was a maintenance issue. They said I misused the washing machine...HUH?? I have had allergic conjunctivitis so bad that my eye doctor and my specialist have told me to go 2 hrs. away to UVA because after 2-3 years of misery and steroid eye drops, dermatologist testing, allergy testing and numerous visits to doctors, they dont know what is wrong with me. Funny how now that the tub in my washer has been replaced and many parts steam cleaned, I dont have the zombie look anymore. It is still in the clothes and the sheets that we sleep in, but it has improved. Bottom line, LG corporate is programmed to blame the consumer, even if they have a defective product. They dont stand behind their name at all. BUY A SAMSUNG!!!
The refrigerator is nice looking and functional. It met our needs and there are no repair issues. Thats why were repeat customers with the brand. LGs quality, features, pricing, and reliability has made them our choice for kitchen and laundry appliances.
This refrigerator is horrible! It almost burnt my house down! I smelled a horrible smell and realized the lights in my refrigerator had melted the housing it was in on my refrigerator. It was falling off the top, the plastic all around it was melted and when I wrapped a light bulb with a towel, it still almost burnt my hand. All my food was spoiled. The food was hot, melted and spoiled. Im so glad I got this before a full blown fire started before going to bed tonight. After googling the problem, I see this has been a problem for years with lawsuits (successful lawsuits dating back to 2010) and still 4 years later this is still happening. LG needs to have better quality control. Do not buy LG!!
We bought a home with an LG French door freezer on bottom refrigerator. The compressor failed suddenly, we lost all of our food. I€ve since learned from other stories that LG compressors are not reliable. When I called LG, I was told that because we did not know when the unit was purchased, they would only honor their seven year sealed system repair warranty from the date of manufacture, which was (drumrolls) seven years and three months ago. Despite the fact that the refrigerator was very likely purchased less than seven years ago, they would not pay for the repair. We decided not to go forward with the repair, as I am uninterested in paying for repairs to a shoddy product. We bought a new refrigerator, naturally not an LG. We won€t be considering any LG products in the future, as any company that would cut corners with a central element of their product, and then treat customers in such a rigid, bureaucratic manner is not to trusted.
We bought a WT5070CW washing machine a couple years ago. Within a year after purchase, we noticed rust forming where one pours bleach into the machine. We dont use bleach a lot, nor are we excessively hard on the machine. It has continued to get worse and now the inlet cup is pretty much ringed by rust. It is very unsightly, and we know this shouldnt be occurring.

Very nice fridge, all the looks and gadgets that we (my wife) wanted. But after 3 years the compressor died and LG was a nightmare to deal with. It took ~5 months of tech visits after it completely died but they never fixed it 100%. Despite the 10 year warranty, they just said sorry and offered me to either (1) deal with it or (2) take a check for half the price I paid for it 3 years earlier and void the remaining warranty. So overall were looking for a new fridge now. My advice is DO NOT buy this fridge unless you also are buying a 5+ year warranty through an independent company (big box store) who will back it up, because LG will not.
I chose to purchase an LG refrigerator over other brands because this brand had what I was looking for at the time. LG has met my expectations. I would still consider purchasing an LG brand, but I would consider getting a different style. The features that I like most about the refrigerator is that it has a built in freezer, as well as an ice dispenser and water dispenser. I like to be able to have my fridge produce ice rather than going to buy ice or having to make it with a tray. The features that I dislike about the refrigerator is that after a while, the freezer component becomes very noisy when you open it. Another feature that I dislike would be that the ice dispenser becomes very frozen and the ice gets stuck together and I have to break off the ice pieces individually.
I bought a LG washer model number WT507OCW from Lowes Jan 2014. A few days ago I tried to use it, pushed the power button, made a clicking noise and shut down. I called Lowes. They would not do anything so I called LG because the washer is still under warranty. After about an hour they set me up with a company in my area to fix it and told me to call them. I called and they refused to come out and repair the washer. I called LG back and told them what happened. LG said they will call me back within 3 days. On the 4th day without a call back, I called LG again. They tried to set me up with the same people who have already refused to repair the washer. When I told them that they again told me I would be called back in 3 days, I told them that was not acceptable and to replace the washer. LG has refused to honor the warranty. I ended up calling a repair service and paying for the repairs myself and LG refusing to reimburse me for the repairs. DO NOT BUY LG.

We purchased the LG Model # LDF7774WW just a few months ago and from the very first wash we noticed that it would not clean the dishes properly, even though I am in the habit of rinsing off the dishes under running water with a dish scrub brush before putting them in the dishwasher. Also, there is a setting for heated water on the panel. It clearly shows the temperature of 160 degrees. However, after suspecting this claim, I tested the water mid-wash with two distinctly different thermometers, one electronic, the other mechanical. Both thermometers showed readings of between 110 degrees and 109.4 degrees. This washer is simply designed to be inferior. Our past GE dishwasher would superheat the water to the point where you could get a mild burn if you were not careful removing metal items from the washer at the end of the cycle. With LG, the dishes feel a little warmer than room temp at the end of the cycle. Avoid this brand and especially this model. It is garbage.

We purchased an LG refrigerator a little over 3 months ago from Home Depot. We have had so much noise coming from it!! We have leveled it and checked that the floor is level. Called customer service and was told if they found it to be normal noises we would have to pay for the service call! It will run quietly for maybe a day then will start humming loudly, everything in the doors vibrate, and makes really weird noises!! Called customer service and was told I need to manually defrost! I should not need to manually defrost a $1700 refrigerator after only 3 months! Home Depot wont do anything because it is under manufacturers warranty for the first year.

I had an awesome experience with LG customer service! My Washer WM0642HW that I bought 7 years ago started with a big noise and doesnt spin. I called to LG Cust. Serv. and then they sent a LG technician to check my washer and he found the problem. The rotor was damaged and due to the Motor was under 10 years warranty this professional guy replace the part and I dont pay nothing! The service was on time and very professional. I have a lot of LG products - VCR, DVD, TVs, washer and dryer too. Dont complains! I love LG Products.
LG True Balance Washer - I agree with every negative review I have read. Bought this expensive laundry set that doesnt get clothes clean, throws itself off balance no matter how large or small the load is. Takes forever to do a few small loads and the clothes come out spotty (white clothes w/ detergent stains). I also bought the matching dryer that takes several tries to get the clothes dry. Dont use the high heat or your clothes stink. Very unhappy. Wish they would trade them out with something that works.
We purchased this refrigerator when redoing kitchen. Took 4 deliveries to get it. I was laid up with hip surgery so by the time I tried to clean doors nothing worked. No stainless steel product worked. Then I tried putting up magnets. They do not stick. This LG refrig came from Mexico. Company told me to get service co out and see if it is SS. WHAT? Co says it is SS. If it is why dont magnets work and SS Cleaner work? Called service co here and they want nothing to do with this. Never heard of this. Mad in Michigan.
I am so far pleased w/ my new refrigerator, but getting the right help for a replacement part has been extensive and frustrating. Fridge under warranty. Needed to order new tempered glass shelf for my model fridge. First time - Sent the wrong part. Glass is correct width but 2.5 too long. Called again. Second Time - Sent entirely wrong part. Third time - Looked online at blown out version of parts while on phone with Customer Service. They sent the wrong part again, but same part as first attempt. Each time the Model number was verified having taken a picture of sticker on inside of fridge. Clearly the part # is mislabeled. Now they are asking me to wait 3-5 more days to get a call to schedule an in-home visit. Offered to send picture of parts and how tempered glass shelf is too long. No, once the order was put in process by supervisor for technician there is nothing else to do but wait.ON ANOTHER NOTE: Im from Maine. Fridge purchased in Maine. Maine has Consumer Goods And Maine Express And Implied Warranty Laws. I do not know about other states, but is worth a look. In Maine regardless of what warranty the retailer or manufacturer gives, Maine law gives consumers a 4-year warranty and the Retailer is who is responsible and who you deal with, not the manufacturer. So when offered the 3-yr warranty, I say, No thanks, because Im covered by Maine Law for the 4 years.
Failed compressor on a 4 year old Kenmore Elite French door refrigerator. It was manufactured by LG and sold by Sears Canada. Of course I purchased the extended warranty which is now null and void after having been underwritten by now defunct Sears Canada. LG Canada basically told me to go ** myself. I am Horrified that I spent 4000$ on an LG refrigerator and LG won€t step up to make this right given the known issue of compressor failure. The repair bill is estimated to be 1000$, which I cannot afford. I€ve had to purchase an inexpensive used fridge and move a basically lightly used top of the line refrigerator to storage in hopes that LG may step up and do what is right. It is untenable that consumers are being exploited in this way and treated with such a lack of care or concern. I am thoroughly disappointed and will be pursuing every avenue to see my money returned.So far, LG has proven they are driven by profit - they are knowingly selling defective appliances to consumers. I recommend that folks avoid LG manufactured products and spend their money on appliances that are manufactured by reputable companies that will stand behind their product. Compressors should last 10-20 years. 4 years??! They are defective and LG needs to own their mistakes.
We purchased the Door In Door French Door refrigerator (LG - LFX31945ST) on 7/20/2013 for $2500. Two days ago I heard a loud pop that sounded like ice dumping on overload. We left the house for a few hours only to come home and find water all over the floor, leaking from the ice maker in the fridge. The fridge had stopped maintaining any cold temperature in either the refrigerator or the freezer section. Much food was in the process of spoiling.Called an appliance repair person who diagnosed the problem as the control module/capacitor, which was burned out. He called for the part and was told that particular part has been on backorder since April and that it was unknown if or even when it would be available. This is ridiculous, we now had to go spend money to purchase a new refrigerator. The service person informed us that his main complaints on appliances are for LG and Samsung products. He doesnt understand why there is not a class action lawsuit against these companies for their poorly performing products for which you have trouble getting even parts to repair. We will not buy anything LG ever again.
I am writing this for LG refrigerator. Their after sales service is worst. Pls think before buying this product..Their service center are not responsible for anything...Worst experience...Will never buy LG product.
We purchased a LG TROMM Washer in Jan. 2007 (WM2487h*M) and we should have known better as we had to trade it out within the first few days of purchase because the water was filling up in the drum after the rinse cycle and the symbol FE was displayed. Luckily, Best Buy exchanged it for a new one without hesitation and it was almost as if they had already been down this path before with several customers. Fast forward less than five years later and the same thing has happened. We just spent $640 on repairs including a new water pump, a new water valve and a new memory board for this hunk of junk of a washer. In hindsight we should have just bought a new machine as the warranties had all expired. The guarantee for the new memory board is for two years supposedly, but we have yet to see paperwork from the registered LG repairman. Although he did state that the new memory board was registered with LG. I guess well just need to keep pressing them on this until we see something in writing.

When we built a custom home two years ago we thought we researched for the best front load washer available for our laundry room at the time. My wife and I decided that Consumer Report would be the best reference point. DO NOT GET LED DOWN THIS PATH. We purchased the Front Load LG WM8000HVA. After a year our clothes started to smell so we ran some cycles with bleach, then vinegar, then AFFRESH. Nothing helped... NOTHING.Just go online and see thousands of reviews for front load washers. I dont think it is just the LG. I think it is a problem for all front loads. My wife has a great nose and with that comes a lot of complaining. The solution was difficult but easy: I bought a new $1200 LG WT7600KKA yesterday from Best Buys in Louisville, KY. Giving our current front load to charity.
The LG refrigerator was an awesome brand. It had features such as smart capabilities and had in drawer freezer as well if you rent as well as the side-by-side freezer. I did not like it because it had too many king some problems thermostat one keep it cool all the time. Also had to constantly fill it up with coolant and it had a leak in the back that will require a lot of house problems such as floors warping and moisture getting its in the house. I went with the LG because it was him highly recommended. It was cheaper and most friends and had a hell of a warranty on it. Was also a alfred hadley my friends and family and co-workers.
I purchased an LG Inverter because I had purchased an LG washer and dryer set and I was happy with them. The dishwasher in the beginning worked okay. Now the dishwasher stinks and my dishes are not clean after a 2-hour wash. They come out filmy and dirty. I wash the dishes before they go into the washer and it still does not help. And my clothes washer has developed a horrible smell. I have followed the cleaning instructions with marginal success. With the dryer, I was able to program dryer settings and now that doesnt work. I will never buy another LG product again. Buyer beware, do not buy these products.
We bought our range in May of 2017. By Sept of 2017 it required its first service. It stopped working due to a problem with the connection. It was repaired and was covered by warranty. Now, it€s Oct 2019. The burners don€t heat correctly. The front burner is heating too hot while the left front doesn€t heat at all. Stays lukewarm. Then when I turn on the rear burner the front right comes on. My range is either possessed or just that jacked up. I wouldn€t get another LG range if it were free and came with a professional chef! Do not buy this product.
Tenemos esta máquina desde hace unos 2 años. No me gusta que no se pueda lavar una carga muy pequeña o ER, no se puede añadir agua primero, y en los últimos meses han estado constantemente recibiendo banderas WE. Las cargas tardan de 2 a 3 horas en hacerse si no me quedo vigilando. He intentado todas las soluciones sencillas, pero hoy ha sido el colmo. Un juego de sábanas, 4 fundas de almohada y 2 toallas de mano, 6 banderas de emergencia hasta ahora, 2:10 minutos, cambié a centrifugado después de que la máquina se apagara y todavía tenía 2 banderas de emergencia. Esta máquina no limpia mejor que las máquinas anteriores que he tenido sin todas las campanas y silbatos. Me gustaría recuperar mi vieja máquina Roper que funcionó durante 16 años hasta el momento en que vendí mi casa y nunca se rompió una vez. Not even 3 years ago we purchased a $2,400 refrigerator that was on sale. Well a month ago the fridge quit cooling and the warranty covered parts. Called and explained the problem and we were told to turn off the fridge for 24 hours and it might restart. I explained my food is going bad and do you tell all customers to turn their fairly new appliances off for a restart. The LG rep. giggled and said if I called out someone without trying a restart it would cost more money. After a month and three visits from a serviceman he tells me the fridge is bad. LG going on policy I guess with little concern about our family and us having no way of cooling our food offers to prorate our fridge giving us approximately $850. Kicker another two weeks for a check. The last of several supervisor tells me, You can still go buy a fridge if you want, you just wont get your check till the 19th. Bottom line, no concern or compassion for a customer. I will never own LG again.

I got my new French door LG Refrigerator, Model #LFX31925ST/100, in October of 2011, for $2354.90. The ice maker has been replaced at least twice and currently they say the one installed in August needs to be replaced again, it quit in Dec. I have had at least 6 service calls. Not counting the times they couldnt get here and had me pulling the fridge out from wall & unplugging it for several hours and plugging it back in, to eliminate loud knocking noises.This week we finally figured out that even though 8/23/15 they replaced fan grill assembly in the back of deep freeze (new one has some sort of defroster in it) we still have no ice. Last summer the water spout on door stuck in on position and nothing we did would shut it off. It flooded our kitchen before we could get the water shut off. I have thrown out so much food during the past two yrs, it is insane. Finally went and bought thermometer and learned that even though door panel shows refrig. set at 33 temp is 46-48. Freezer varies. Now I have learned it is currently part of a Class Action Law Suit and Im not alone. Im done in and crying Uncle...
We just bought this machine 2 years ago and it cost us almost $2K. Recently, it has been nothing but a headache. Keeps giving us an error message. After calling LG over & over, all we are told is to run washer cleaner through it, which weve done a million times. Still not working. LG finally said theyd contact an appliance repair and send out a rep (at a cost of at least $280 to us...thanks, LG!) and gave us a date and time window. No one showed. LG never set it up. Im beyond unhappy. I will NEVER, EVER, EVER buy another LG product. Their customer service is absolutely horrible and their slogan of Lifes Good is a JOKE. Life is only good if you do NOT own any LG products!!! Please, for the love of all things, just DONT buy LG.
Washer is only 2 months old. Clothes do not get clean. Huge amount of detergent residue is left on clothes even after running 2 full cycles. Now clothes and comforters are literally ripping in half. Repairman found defect in the tub ring causing the rips. Neither LG nor Best Buy will allow me to return it for a different model. Im stuck with an 800-dollar washer that cant clean and needs a repair at 2 months old. I will never buy LG product again.
I purchased my LG washing machine 1 1/2 years ago. It is a model WT1101CW. It is constantly saying its unbalanced and has rattled my bathroom floor apart. The tiles are now badly cracked. Not only that, but in the last several months it has developed an issue where it cant run for more than a minute or two at a time without giving me the UE (unbalanced) error code. I called the LG recall line after seeing that some similar LG machines have been recalled for the same issues, but was told that based on my machines serial number, my machine isnt one of those recalled. I was then transferred to customer service who again told me to make sure that the machine is level. The machine is perfectly level. I have cleaned the tub often, and also tried unplugging it and pressing start and pause as LGs customer service department has also suggested.I was also told by their customer service department that I could try adding a cycle option such as add fabric softener to increase the amount of water in the tub. Since it only has water in it during the tub clean cycle when it also gives an unbalance signal every few minutes, this isnt going to help. It also defeats the purpose of the machine being energy efficient. Today I have spent 9 1/2 hours so far doing a tub clean with just vinegar as they suggested. Every minute or two it gives me the unbalance error code and I have had to restart it. It still has water in it and hasnt finished. It is now 8:30 pm and I started it at 9 am this morning.I just called LGs customer service department for the 6th time in the last few days and was told that since my 1 1/2 year old machine is out of warranty, it will cost a minimum of $299 for a service call! When I objected to the exorbitant price, the representative offered to let me pay with three easy payments. I can buy a new machine for not much more than that. I am 60 years old and have to say that this is the WORST washing machine I have ever owned, and the WORST customer service I have ever received. Also, I believe this model machine needs to be recalled as well. There is definitely an issue with it, and I see from the other complaints on here that I am not the only one having problems with this model. WORST PRODUCT AND WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!

We purchased an LG washer and dryer set at Home Depot and within two weeks and only a few washes the washer leaks from the front. We had to pay an LG technical person $145 to come to our house and tell us it was because we have a dog and he said even a single dog hair in the door seal will make the front door leak. If you own a dog - this is a really terrible option for a washer. Apparently you need to clean the rubber seals and door after every wash and its virtually impossible to clean dog hair off of the rubber gasket in the front. Its still leaking and neither Home Depot or LG will take the product back. Too bad they cant at least pay for my water damaged floors. I can also add that the dryer is the noisiest I have ever owned. Brand new $2500 French door refrigerator not cooling or making ice out of the box. LG €support€ made me test it different things for 2 days straight. Just long enough to be past the 2 day return policy at Home Depot. Lost hundreds of dollars in meats and seafood in my freezer. Turns out the main PCB board which is the brains of the refrigerator is defective. I demanded a new refrigerator and have been given the run around from LG for the past week, not to mention rudely spoken to and hung up on several times. Home Depot does not stand behind the product forcing a replacement. Terrible experience with both companies. I have a non working refrigerator and no answers to this day. Buyers beware! Go with Whirlpool from a private appliance store that knows the product.
LG model LFX31925ST - Came home to a loud noise coming from my 5-month old LG refrigerator, all the freezer food is thawed and the ice was melting in the door. I used the live online chat. I asked €Is there a fire danger, what should I do?€ The response is, €Call the smart diagnosis department.€ She gives me the number to call. The smart diagnosis department could not help. A day later LG called and gave us a phone number to set up in home repair.That company said it is difficult to communicate with LG and get parts or payment from LG. That person declined to take our repair request. We waited to hear from LG. Nothing. I submitted a second request by filling out an online repair request. Nothing. I sent an email request and got a quick email reply, €Sorry for your difficulty,€ then something that made no sense and finally You be contacted.€ Hmm, shouldnt that be €You WILL be contacted€? I now understand LG is aware of a common control panel problem. I think that this is my problem. I also believe I am going to get stuck with a lemon. Do not buy this product.
I am so fed up with my two LG front load washers which I purchased in August, 2006. 1 1/2 years ago the cold water valve had to be replaced in #1 washer. Six months ago, the hot water valve had to be replaced in #2 washer. Today the cold water valve had to be replaced in #1 washer again. I paid over $2,000.00 for these washers. Doesnt anything last more than 4 years? Next time Im buying top loading, cheap washers so when they break, I will just throw them out and buy new ones.
I purchased a $700 LG washing machine. After 1.5 years, the machine stopped working. It literally died, no display, no nothing, right in the middle of a wash. The lid was electric, therefore we could not get our clothes out of the machine (in about 12 inches of water). We had 4 different servicemen out (sent by LG) and none of them knew how to open the lid, until the 4th arrived with a 9 volt battery and got it open. Of course, the clothes were ruined. I explained the situation to LG and they actually sent me a check for $275 (the estimated cost of the clothing) and Best Buy gave me credit for the defective machine, which we used to upgrade to a better model LG washing machine. The new expensive machine continually gave the UE error message, inappropriately. It would show this even when we were cleaning the tub and nothing was in it. This got so bad eventually it started taking us a day or more to complete one load of clothes.Sooooo, I put in another call to customer service, who repeatedly told me it was out of warranty and they couldnt do anything. I asked to speak to someone in management and was transferred to executive services. They actually listened to my story, sympathized with me and sent out a repairman (who ordered parts, over $900) and fixed the machine. It now runs great! So, even though some companies like LG make a product that has serious performance issues, their customer service has done an excellent job addressing my concerns and going out of their way to make it right.
I bought an LG Range from Best Buy in November 2018 for $1800. In February the oven broke and I have been told that it was the control panel. After 3 weeks they have sent the control panel but the LG repair guy said that we need 2 others parts. # weeks later I am still waiting for the LG repair guy to fix this oven. Its a total of 6 weeks. Meanwhile my 8 months LG dryer broke. I couldnt go with the same experience. I decided to pay out of pocket, 300$ later. The dryer broke 1 week later. I just spoke to an LG supervisor who said that she didnt get any parts order. I am literally crying... Worst customer service. Terrible appliance!
I bought my refrigerator in December of 2006. In Feb. of 2008, the light stayed on all night and warped the liner. There were burn marks under light cover which looked like it was melted. Thank God that my repairman, the Appliance Man, is smart and honest. He told me that LG was having a big problem with that refrigerator and that it was a design flaw - A defect in (on) the board and a known defect. He also told me to tell LG that it was unrepairable. Amanda ** from LG agreed to replace it.When they delivered the new one I was told that the new one would not be under warranty -??? It hasnt been a problem since although little teeny nailhead size dents appear out of nowhere. The drawers are cheaply made and all have one problem or another. I decided to write about my experience as many comments in the reviews sound as though they experienced my same problem. Thankfully I have a great repairman that knows his stuff!
I purchased an LG front load washer about 6 months ago from Sears. It began leaking from the bottom within 3 months of purchase. I called LG and after 5 hours of run around through their customer service. Customer service reps are all from India or Philippines. They have no idea what you are saying. They email you videos to watch on how to clean your machine. Finally after I lost my temper they set up an appointment for a tech to come out. We will see what happens. This leak is substantial and has caused major water damage and possibly mold to the walls and floor. Has destroyed the item stored within 6 feet of the washer. I would have called sooner but instead I thought the pipes in my walls or slab leak. After turning the water off to my home I discovered it was my brand new washing machine.

Purchased a LG French Door with freezer on the bottom three years ago. The fridge stopped working on November 1st. My husband contacted the customer service department of LG and spoke to a rep. When he didnt hear back from them, he called again only to discover that there was no record of the initial call. Repairman said that the electronic panel is broken. The repair will be approximately $400. Spoke to an electrical engineer who diagnosed the problem and even guessed the cost of the repair. He had similar issues with his LG. Said that it is a quick fix with a little soldering and a cheap fuse. Apparently the glass tubing that the Koreans use breaks easily after door is closed repeatedly. I have triplets who are in the fridge and closing the door 24-7. The designers either dont know how Americans used a refrigerator or it is planned flaw so the consumer is forced to make a costly repair. Will never buy another LG after learning this!
I would give this product 0 stars if that were an option. I purchased this appliance 4 years ago and while it looks great, it has been nothing but trouble. We first had an issue about 2 years after purchase - it stopped cooling in the freezer. We lost quite a bit of food but the repair was covered by the warranty. Now 2 years later, the same thing has happened except now it is both the freezer and refrigerator that will not cool. I have lost hundreds of dollars in food and have to take time off from work to wait for the repairman. And to top it off, LG customer service is terrible. I spent nearly an hour on the phone scheduling an appointment, only to have them reschedule for a day later. I am furious. After doing some research, I see that there is a class action suit against LG for just this problem - issues with their compressors. Unfortunately for me, the suit is in California and Im in NY or I would jump on that.

We exchanged a defective Samsung refrigerator for an LG 8 months ago and paid more for it as well. Right after Christmas found everything defrosted in our freezer and the refrigerator not working as well. Called LG and after waiting forever, told that nobody could come out for at least 4 days for repair. The repair guy shows up today to tell me the compressor is shot (again, after only 8 months) and he does not have one on his truck! He had 2 and used both this morning!! Now with the New Year Holiday one will not be delivered until next week and the repairman hopes he can get out to fix it then. After spending $2,800 I really didnt think Id have to be purchasing a mini refrigerator and loads of ice. Terrible product, worse customer service - save yourself money and DO NOT buy an LG product!
I purchased an LG refrigerator (Model: LFD22860SW) in March of 2007. The light lens in the fridge part melted and light sockets brown one bulb melted in. Sears gave me an unacceptable three-week wait for the service. For $251.00, they can come out sooner. The local appliance store gets my new and repair business going forward. LG = Lost Groceries SEARS = Not so solid
Updated on 08/12/2019: I posted a review of LG refrigerator here a while ago. I described how shortly after the warranty ended, it needed a circuit board replaced and every shelf cracked. LG responded to me claiming this was unusual and they wanted to take care of it. They asked me for more and more information, model, serial number, date of purchase, photos, etc. This went on for several weeks. Finally they responded that the warranty was over and they owed me nothing. But they already knew this since my review already mentioned that. So the only reason they responded must be to give others the impression that they stood behind the products when they actually didnt. It was rubbing salt into a wound. I thought readers should know. And LG, dont bother responding. I wont fall for it again.Original Review: I think all refrigerators today are junk and this one is no exception. Shortly after the warranty expired, it needed over $200 in repairs (circuit board). It has a top freezer and bottom fridge. When you put your hand over the space between them, you feel the cold air escaping. Most of the poorly constructed shelves have cracked but I have been told this is standard on any brand of fridge. The shelves cost almost as much as a new fridge.
We purchased the LG front loading washing machine four years ago. It does vibrate but not like a Bronco. It does smell sometimes but we bleach out the machine once a month or so. It does not clean our clothes very well. I have to soak my shirts and pants in a water/ammonia solution before putting them in the washer to get a start on cleaning them properly. I guess if we use high-powered stink detergent, we would not notice a not quite clean smell of freshly laundered clothes, but we dont want artificial stink on our clothes. When my mother sells her house, Im going to trade our inadequate machine for her 15-year old Maytag top loader with the suds saver. We would warn anyone about purchasing this washer. I had no idea that so many people had those amounts of problems with this product. Wish wed read here first. It figures that LG is a Republican supporter, lots of big stink to cover up even bigger stink.
I purchased TWO LG front loader washing machines from Home Depot for my own use. From day one the clothes never came out clean. Because I had bought two I assumed that this issue was with my plumbing and had the plumber back in several times. Each time he assured me that there was no issue with the plumbing. I finally called my extended warranty company to come and take a look at the machines. The technician simply shook his head and said that he understands my frustration as he owns the same machine. There is simply no sufficient water in these high efficiency front loaders to wash laundry! They are marketed as giving a superior wash yet DO NOT WASH THE CLOTHES AT ALL! Try washing a load of laundry in the sink and adding just one jug of water! I am still hopeful that LG will stand behind its product and replace these machines, as I currently have two very nice looking ORNAMENTS in my home.
LG is great brand. Love their unique features. Great company. I know the brand and I am familiar with the brand. It is always great whether it is a tv or a microwave. I love the brand so I thought it was a much better choice. I like how the refrigerator gives ice and it is great. Love the color and the spacing in the freezer. Love the white color on the inside. And it looks great on my wall. Love how it is built to last and hope it does. But I dont like how much space is taking and there should be more light. It could be much better color. It is not too heavy and love the electrical and it is okay. Could be way better.
I have only owned this LG for a couple years. I wish I had realized this before I made such a major purchase. Please note: My LG refrigerator Model LFX 25978ST/00 stopped working - first ice machine failed, then it broke and is not dispensing ice, then freezer and then finally entire fridge - lost all my food. Called an appliance repair and they charge you to look and then they take their sweet time to fix. Last time it took 1 month, this time 3 weeks before he can come and look. They are the worst service centers. Last year it was conclusion was the compressor was also failed. LG guarantees its compressor for 10 years, BUT, only deals with certain repair centers, so I was already out $200 and needed to call one of only two LG-affiliated centers in my area. One quoted me 500 for labor. Scheduling the repair could take up to 2-3 weeks.There needs to be a class action lawsuit against LG. I purchased a LG refrigerator and I am going to make it my life project to talk bad about service and this product. I am so shocked that this broke down two time in less than a year. Nobody wants to repair it. They all say LG is bad product in Fridge. I have kids and NO FRIDGE. I thought LG was one of the best, but NOW I AM do not think so. Repair people are not outstanding service providers and they dont do a great job as far as I can see. Model: LFX25976 ST/00, serial: 011KREL00716, compressor is the problem.
Our refrigerator (model # LMXS30776S) is just over 3 1/2 years old, and this will now be the 7th time we€ve had it fail. Just last month, we had to have the ice maker replaced because of a leak. Five months ago, the evaporator, drier and ice maker assemblies were replaced as it was not cooling. The year before that we had to have the compressor and evaporator replaced along with a repair to the ice maker, losing a vast majority of our food in the process. Now, not only is the ice maker not working, but the fridge won€t cool below 52 degrees. Based on all of the complaints and class action lawsuits that have surfaced, this is a widespread problem that needs to be remedied. History would suggest that we will be in the same position in another 6 months down the road. LG needs to be held liable for the damages caused to their customers.
First, we purchase this refrigerator IMXS30776D is 2016. This refrigerator is barely three years old and $2800.00. This refrigerator has had all part replaced (the compressor twice). The technicians from A&E Factory Service deemed our refrigerator non-repairable. We called LG to see if we could get a replacement or refund. They said they needed information from the technician at A&E to confirm our refrigerator is non-repairable. Three weeks later, we have been passed back and forth between LG, SEARS the A&E. We made another attempted today to find out a status and were passed to SEARS Warranties department. They pretty much told us, No we are not replacing or refunding the refrigerator. I will not buy another LG refrigerator or any other product that LG makes. I will also pass on my experience to everyone I know and those I see shopping for refrigerators (Best Buy, Lowes, Home Depot which I frequently shop). Stay away from LG refrigerators!!!!
I wanted to be fair about my review so I waited until I had it a while. I bought this machine a yr ago and I am very disappointed. In any cycle, theres not enough water to get everything wet, say nothing about rubbing the clothes together. The repairman came out for a repair issue and stated the machine was made to wash ONE set of sheets not two. If I want anything really clean, I have to go to bulky to get enough water to make any soap suds. Most of the time, I can see the blue soap color on some of the clothes.. They dont get wet enough to get the soap off. I will not buy LG anything again.

Noise! Popping, knocking noises from my LG side-by-side Refrigerator! At first, I only noticed it happening at night. Now, they are happening in daytime as well. Sometimes, it is really loud! The sound comes from the inside. Sometimes, it was from the fridge or from the freezer. I have tried reporting this to their Customer Service Department but I come to a conclusion that they must not have one because I have never had a reply!
I bought the LG top loader 1 year ago. It hasnt washed my clothes properly since Ive had it. I always have dirt covered all over my clothes after, and have to wash them sometimes twice. Never can I wash blacks one time. I will never get another LG and when I called about it, I was told I needed to call some other number. When I went back to the store, I was told, Oh ,you probably arent putting enough clothes in it. Very disappointed and really would like my money back.
Love the black stainless but it easily scratches and is not magnetic. Things on the bottom shelf tend to freeze, could use more vegetable drawer depth, as it is frequently tight. We love the alarm feature and the bottom drawer freezer. Sometimes the freezer doesnt stay closed.
We saw the LG refrigerator in the store and we were interested in it. It has the French door and the under freezer, and we had a normal purchasing experience when we got it. Its been working well so far but we had to have some work done on it because the compressor failed. They fixed it under warranty though.
Tuvimos nuestra lavadora durante unos 6 o 7 años. No limpiaba muy bien la ropa. Hace unos dos meses empecé a lavar la ropa cada vez que nuestros hijos salían a realizar sus tareas exteriores (vivimos en el campo). Todavía tenemos 6 niños en casa, uno sólo tiene 2 años así que estaba en la casa conmigo y con nuestro hijo de 17 años. Oímos un sonido como el de una escopeta que se dispara en la casa. Nuestro hijo de 17 años y yo corrimos a ver qué era, la lavadora literalmente explotó. Por suerte los niños estaban fuera haciendo las tareas o alguien podría haber resultado gravemente herido o muerto... la trona de nuestros bebés salió despedida por la habitación y casi rompió la ventana. LG no ha hecho nada. Les llamé inmediatamente después de limpiar el desastre y toda el agua. Me dijeron que no tendrían noticias suyas en dos días... nunca me contestaron. No volveré a comprar ningún producto LG.
Mi frigorífico de 5 años dejó de funcionar de repente. Un técnico vino al día siguiente y determinó que el compresor había fallado. Me sorprendió porque los compresores suelen durar más de 20 años. Después de investigar un poco, descubrí que este es un problema generalizado en LG y posiblemente en otras marcas que utilizan este compresor de tipo lineal. We purchased an LG French door with freezer drawer in bottom. Have had problems with mold developing along the door gaskets as doors do not closed properly. Yesterday, there was an odor that smelled like burning plastic. It smelled like some electrical insulation was burning. The smell diminished, but this morning we discovered that the electrical cord was burning at the outlet. I called the service contract people and was told that the electric cord was not covered, that if they sent someone out it would cost $100.00+. Drove to the local HHGregg store where we purchased it originally and spoke with the manager, which was as helpful as talking to the service provider. In my opinion, both Gregg and the service provider are dishonest about their policy coverage. It appears that I am not alone with this problem.
Had nothing but problems from this machine, and with the service provided. Pump broke after 3 months, took 6 weeks to get someone over to fix it. Said they had no service in my area. Took 3 weeks to make an appointment, said computer would not accept, and to call back later. Finally talked to a service man on the phone, told him that I thought it was the pump, he said he thought so to. Shows up next day, yep it€s the pump. (Why not bring one with you)! Got to order one. Be back next week. Pump took 2 weeks to get here. Then another week to get them out to fix it. (Somewhere in the process. I went out and bought a cheaper washer, just to please the wife). The old pump had a straight pin in it, shut it down. Ok, now, after having the washer for over a year, the washer will never just wash the cloths, it stops with a UE error about every time. Took the wife 8 hrs to wash 1 load the other day. Got my service man on the way to try to fix this problem. Let you know how it turns out.
Wish that I had found this site prior to buying their top loading washer. Bought from Home Depot 4 months ago. Left one day with washer running, when we returned it had stopped with error code, washer had not drained. Looked at error code which said that hose was possibly crimped. Pulled washer away from wall and insured that they was nothing wrong. Called LG and girl had me do the over the phone diagnostics. Bottom line, she said that it needed service and they would schedule in 3-5 business days.Only call we received from them was a company name & phone # left on answering machine, with no further information. Sent a email asking what the hell is this, you are supposed to be scheduling the service, not me. Couple of days later this service company called and left messages on the answering machine, wanted us to call them to schedule a service appointment. I called on Friday afternoon, and they would have a service tech our way on Wed. I inquired what if it needs parts will they be able to repair by Fri. reply: no way as they would have to order parts. I inquired if they provide service after 4:30 pm or on weekends as we were both returning to work next week. She says no; in other words they wanted us to take time off from work to repair a product under warranty. I told her to forget it I would recall LG, which I did and explained to the girl that they needed to find a service company that can accommodate our work scheduled, she said that she would call back for scheduled service in 3-5 business days. Last we have heard from them and Home Depot says we just sold you the washer you, LG delivered it and any issues you have you have to take up with LG. WRONG answer, Bottom line you have three choices: 1) Insure that we receive repair on the existing washer , 2) Come get the washer as you havent been completely paid for it yet and refund what you have been paid, 3) give us a new replacement or once again you dont get the balance. All 3 scenarios is that it is still under warranty and you were paid the money not LG. As it stands, intend to file official complaint with Consumer Protection Agency, Federal Trade Commission & Attorney Generals office if for nothing else other than formal matter of record.
It started when we got back from a family vacation in mid July 2018. We have owned our LG refrigerator for 3 years and we are a family of 7. Upon our return from vacation, we went grocery shopping. The very next day our refrigerator failed and all of our food was spoiled. We had spent hundreds of dollars at Costco and other grocery stores. Home Depot Protection Plan sent out a company to diagnose the issue. Once they diagnosed the problem, they said they couldnt fix our refrigerator. We had to make another appointment but this time with an LG specialist, which took another week to schedule.When they showed up we expected them to fix our fridge, but instead they had to diagnose and said they could not go off the previous companys diagnoses. Although, both companies said the refrigerators compressor went out. We were then told the part was on back order due to these refrigerators breaking down from LG. The part didnt come in until September. Once the new compressor was installed we were assured within 48 hours we could use it again. Again we went shopping and and lost all of our food again. Once we got the company back out, they said it was a faulty compressor and they would have to order us a new one.We have now had 2 food loss claims and 2 compressors replaced. Again, being assured the fridge would work, we bought more food. This time we realized the fridge was making weird noises and the freezer was not keeping our food frozen. After several more calls and several more service calls, our freezer is still not working properly 9 months later. Each time a new guy shows up telling us something new as to why this was happening. We have complied with everything they have asked us to do. We now have our fridge pulled out a foot away from the wall, which is a complete eye sore, and it is still not working properly.We have had over 9 calls to the Home Depot Protection Plan company for the same issue and they are still not calling it a lemon! We recently had another appointment on March 15th, 2019 for a final diagnosis, and the company never showed up! We are throwing away so much food which is a waste of our time and money. My family and I are scared to buy a lot of food because we are afraid the LG refrigerator is going to break down again. Our plan states after 2 calls for the same issue it is considered a lemon and it would be a Buy Out. We have had enough of this run around!
The easy clean oven feature is useless even if used weekly! Would advise everyone to save their money and avoid purchasing this appliance. I am so sorry I didn€t read reviews prior to my purchase. Surfaces especially on the sides of the oven are not cleaned. Even the scraper does not help because difficult to use on sides of oven where racks are. Can€t use easy off to help because of cleaning instructions. Just a terrible purchase.
Another complaint about the plastic knobs that break and have gas leaks. I have other people in my home that use my stove and they arent aware if the knob is all the way off. Gas leaks that can lead to death! LG is doing nothing about it.
I had a Samsung refrigerator and it last two years. I went through hell with Samsung because it was still under warranty and it took me three months to get that resolved. Then I bought this LG refrigerator and the compressor failed in it. But I called LG and it was handled the best way it could€ve been handled. I was very impressed. And service tech came out and fixed it. He was very professional and very good. He put a new compressor in it and the difference is night and day. The refrigerator has been running great since then and they got a loyal LG customer now because of the way they handled the whole situation. They backed the product, so I don€t have a problem and I€ll buy another one. My wife even told me that I had to talk to somebody and tell them how the experience was and how well it was handled.
If you purchase this piece of trash, count on its breaking down in less than five years - as ours did. And good luck getting warranty service, much less emergency service. One other suggestion: be certain to ensure your freezer food. This company should be shut down.
We bought a fridge 15 months ago 8/2013, the ice maker went bad within a year. Now the compressor went out. We did not get an extended warranty since it was new. We paid cash and now they say we cannot buy an extended warranty. Are we stocked without one? Anything else we can do? Thank you for your help.
Hay que limpiar los platos antes de poner en marcha el lavavajillas o no quedarán limpios. Compramos un seguro de reparación o sustitución: lo único que sirve es para que te cambien las piezas porque no te cambian toda la unidad... Se han pasado un año poniendo piezas nuevas en este nuevo lavavajillas. El hombre que enviaron me hace preguntarme si LG sabía que esto estaba ocurriendo. No fueron de mucha ayuda.
Estoy muy molesto con mi compra de LG. De vuelta en enero de 2019 mi estufa fue entregada andamp; instalado. Todo parecía estar bien hasta que decidí limpiar la estufa usando la función de autolimpieza el viernes 8,9,2019. Después de usar la función de autolimpieza el esmalte de mi estufa está quemado en las esquinas de la puerta. Durante la conversación inicial con el Departamento de Garantía me dieron un número de caso y me dijeron que se pondrían en contacto conmigo para concertar una cita para que su técnico viniera a echar un vistazo a la estufa. Dos días más tarde recibí una llamada telefónica de una empresa de servicio explicando que mi defecto cosmético no está cubierto por la garantía y que si vienen y determinan que no es un defecto del fabricante tendré que pagar una cuota de servicio. Le comenté mi preocupación por el sobrecalentamiento o el posible esmalte quemado y le expliqué que no me sentía cómodo con este escenario.Volví a llamar a LG y decidieron enviar a un técnico certificado de LG. Llamó esta mañana 8,14,19 y dijo que estaría aquí entre 2-5. Cuando llegó hoy (17:10) dijo que no tenía ni idea de la causa de estas marcas, incluso señaló que no podía probar el horno porque ocurre durante el ciclo de limpieza cuando la puerta está cerrada. Llamó a su equipo técnico en la oficina. Incluso a él le ponen en una larga espera. Me dijo que tenía que ir a su próxima cita y que me llamaría para decirme lo que habían decidido. Cuando me devolvió la llamada me dijeron que no iban a cubrir el defecto de que está quemado en la comida. (¡¡Huh!!)Primero como lo saben. ¿No estaban aquí? El técnico que físicamente miró la estufa y no llegó a este escenario - una persona en el teléfono lo hizo?? Pero incluso con este posible escenario - pregunté cómo puede la comida entrar entre la junta y la puerta? Sin embargo, no hay comida quemada en ningún otro lugar de la estufa. Ni siquiera en el suelo de la cocina. Me dice que no puede hacer nada y que llame de nuevo al servicio de atención al cliente. Ahora estamos esperando la visita de un segundo técnico. Tenga en cuenta que he pasado literalmente horas en el teléfono con cada llamada. Me he tomado 3 horas libres en el trabajo hoy y tendré que tomarme más tiempo libre el viernes para la segunda cita. Compramos nuestra lavadora LG el verano de 2014. La lavadora funcionaba muy bien hasta que empezamos a notar que se formaba óxido alrededor del dispensador de lejía. ¡Ahora, cada vez que lavo sábanas o mantas salen con manchas de óxido! Los lavados posteriores no eliminan el óxido, por lo que se estropean. Sólo hemos tenido esta lavadora durante 6 años y teniendo en cuenta que tenemos una secadora Amana que todavía funciona después de casi 13 años (y era mucho más barata, por cierto) no habla bien del problema de calidad de la lavadora LG.
Hace poco pasamos por 4 meses de renovaciones. Qué pesadilla y el contratista no va a volver para hacer los retoques finales. Hemos tenido nuestra cocina completamente eviscerado y cuando se trataba de los aparatos que compramos y LG gama y nevera. Ambos funcionan muy bien. Hay que acostumbrarse un poco a pasar de los aparatos de los años 70 y 80 a los nuevos. No hemos tenido problemas con el frigorífico, pero sólo lo hemos utilizado durante un par de meses. La cocina funciona bien. Pensaba que con una cocina nueva iba a esperar menos tiempo para que hirviera el agua, pero no. Tenemos un problema de olor a gas cada vez que usamos la cocina. Ya sea el horno o los quemadores, olemos a gas. Hay información contradictoria en Internet sobre si esto es normal. No deberíamos oler a gas en otras habitaciones que no sean la cocina, pero sí cuando usamos la cocina. El otro problema que es importante es el de los mandos para encender los quemadores. Esto es un completo peligro para la seguridad y cómo este diseño pasó cualquier inspección de seguridad antes de venderse al público está más allá de mí. Me he chamuscado el pelo largo dos veces, una vez metiendo la mano en un armario cerca de la estufa y otra limpiando junto a la estufa sólo porque apenas me apoyé en la estufa. Los mandos giran apenas rozándolos y al instante el quemador está encendido antes de que puedas apartarte. Si mis hijos fueran todavía pequeños no me quedaría con esta cocina. Es un accidente a punto de ocurrir. Me parece que este diseño es terriblemente irresponsable para una empresa y esta cocina debería ser retirada del mercado. También me parece que la ventilación del horno a través de la encimera no es el mejor diseño. Cuando utilizo el horno y los quemadores al mismo tiempo se crea demasiado calor y en una ocasión el ventilador de la campana extractora se activó por sí solo y no se apagó hasta que el calor se disipó. Al mismo tiempo, la ventilación del horno hace que las ollas en la estufa se calienten aún más que al estar en los quemadores y las asas no se pueden manejar a menos que se use un soporte para ollas. Hornea bien. Encontramos que usamos más la convección porque al hornear los alimentos no se crispan tanto como quisiéramos. Supongo que esa es la diferencia entre el calor eléctrico y el gas. Las empresas tienen que defender mejor sus productos. Nuestro viejo frigorífico de 25 años sigue funcionando con fuerza y ha sido relegado al puerto del coche como frigorífico de desbordamiento. Estoy seguro de que estos nuevos electrodomésticos de hoy en día nunca durarían tanto. Si el nuevo frigorífico LG se estropea, puede que tengamos que volver a meter el viejo dentro. Ah, y nuestro televisor Samsung de 2 años acaba de morir por completo. ¡¡¡Que calidad!!!
We remodeled our house a little over two years ago, and my wife bought new LG appliances for the kitchen including a dishwasher, electric cook top range, microwave and refrigerator. I like the fact that when you get water out of the refrigerator door, it comes out fast. When it went out, it took almost two weeks to get done, and that€s the only complaint I have. We€re retired and we can€t afford to go out every meal, so we lived out of coolers and one small hundred-dollar refrigerator for a month. When the repairman brought the compressor in, he informed us that he puts a lot of compressors into LGs. In fact, he finished up with us at 8:00 in the evening he was here, and he went on to do another one before he went home.
This is the first time Ive ever written a review, ever in 42 years but Im so dissatisfied with LGs customer service that I feel its warranted. I had my $4000 LG refrigerator less than a year when problems started. The issue started as a loud noise thats ended in the refrigerator not working at all. I called customer service immediately when the noise started and they went thru a series of self-tests by phone to determine what the cause was. Initially the rep suggested it was a fan issue. So we re-leveled the unit and the doors as suggested (because according to LG this isnt covered under the warranty). The problem continued and then error messages began to show on the door so we called back to LG and after several days of calling we were eventually set up with a warranty repair service to come out the following week. Now keep in my mind the back and forth of trying to reach someone who could help us in customer service had went on already for over 2 weeks already. Finally an service appt... But no one ever called us or showed up as planned for the repair. So we called back to LG and started from scratch again. At the end of the call the rep tries telling us we are now out of warranty. Furious, I immediately explained to her this problem was called into LG long before we were out of warranty and due to their delays and pushing us off is the reason we are now beyond one year. However we certainly were in warranty when this debacle started. After going round and round for 3 more weeks, we come home to a non-working fridge and everything ruined inside. Its been 4 additional weeks now that weve made calls to LG and continue to be put off or lied to by their reps. I finally demanded to speak to a supervisor on the last call who advised me that they couldnt locate anyone to come repair the fridge for at least 2 more weeks. This all started 8/28 and its 10/14 and still our fridge is not working. I called the company that one rep said would be coming out to repair just to confirm. I wasnt being lied to again and not surprising the repairman said he absolutely will not do work for LG because they dont pay the company for their repairs and that he immediately turned down the work order when it was sent to him. Do you think anyone from LG called to tell us that this service company declined the work order and set us up with another repair company... Nope not a word! So here we go calling them back again and now the latest is the national LG service locator is trying to find someone to come repair our fridge - still have no date of when to expect our fridge to be repaired. THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE EVER EXPERIENCED. I will never purchase another LG item and will share my experience with as many who will listen. We purchased the $4000 LG refrigerator last year and it lasted 11 months before the problems started... Now we have been sitting with a non-working refrigerator for over 2 months and still no confirmed service repair appt. Im warning anyone considering purchasing an LG product - DONT!
Compré el modelo LG LDF7932ST en 2006. Se suponía que era lo mejor de la línea. Silencioso, eficiente, etc. y caro: 1200 dólares. I purchased the set of washer and dryer last year from Sears but I have been regret to change my old Whirlpool set that I had it over 15 years. I only decided to change them because of water consuming. Other than this both were working perfect. I have two football player teens at home and I have to do laundry almost every day but most of the time the clothes are coming out smelly and I have to rewash them and using more electricity and water. I wish I could have my old one again.
We got our LG refrigerator at Costco two years ago. Then we started having problems with our ice maker. We called it in and LG sent somebody out here to replace it about three times already. They have replaced everything that they could possibly replace for the ice maker and its still not making ice. Its inconvenient for us. But the technicians have been good and theyve helped us with all the questions weve had.
Acabo de comprar un lavavajillas LG LDP6797BB en Home Depot el 10,9,17, me lo entregaron el 10,17. Lo instalamos nosotros mismos (sin problemas). Una vez que instalamos el lavavajillas y confirmamos que no había fugas, fui a hacer funcionar el lavavajillas durante un ciclo completo (como se recomienda). Encendí la máquina sólo para obtener este código L2, saqué el libro para averiguar el significado de este código, afortunadamente (según el libro) esto no es un error es un código de Agente de Enjuague... Sin embargo, el libro no dice cómo borrar este código. Así que llamé al servicio de atención al cliente de LG, y me dijeron que tenía que reiniciar la máquina en el disyuntor. Cuando el ciclo se completó, cargué el lavavajillas con los platos y encendí la máquina... L2 OTRA VEZ, reinicio OTRA VEZ, no funciona, reinicio del disyuntor otra vez. He hecho esto 1 MILLÓN DE VECES en una semana (y sí hay agente de enjuague en la máquina). He llamado a LG y no me han ayudado. No tienen técnicos en el personal con los que se pueda hablar, sé que es una solución fácil, pero insisten en enviar un técnico a mi casa. NO VOLVERÉ A COMPRAR LG NUNCA MÁS... Cruzo los dedos para que puedan arreglar esto de una vez por todas.
I purchased a refrigerator, dishwasher and gas range for my new home that I moved in to in 2019. Close to 5000$. Of course they are all out of warranty now and during Christmas of 2021 pieces of enamel was being found in my food I was baking in the oven. Needless to say this has to be a manufacturers defect because nothing I have done would warrant chips of enamel falling off. I called they said, Nope its out of warranty. Even with the fact that we could have consumed some of the enamel they do NOT care. Even the man that I called about checking it out said LG was hard to work with. I am hoping to get this resolved soon being I can not use my oven for fear of consuming enamel. I was so proud at how all three units looked in my kitchen and people were impressed with the look of them. Shame on you LG for selling expensive crap!! And then refusing to take care of your customers.
I want you all to know that the LG model LFX 30766S we bought in the 2nd half of 2015 stopped cooling and the compressor is shot. We are waiting for service to repair and expect, based on the call with the service center will cost a minimum of $300 just for the visit and they indicate that they may have to order parts... We will see but we are still waiting for 4 days for service. Ill keep you posted but this Made in Korea was over $2300 and didnt last 1 year and a half. We still dont know if parts are under warranty... Keep tuned and stay away from LG refrigerators.
We have a studio series LG bottom freezer 3 door fridge. Excellent lighting, easy access to everything, water & ice in door. Only drawback is the water & air filters are kinda priced.
We replaced older but well-functioning washer and dryer with the upright LG. We were told by the salespersons that this was the best although expensive system. The research we read also led us to believe we were making a great investment. Wrong! The smell and mold that builds up is unbearable. Our room downstairs smells moldy ever since we began using our machine. The washer shakes horribly. We also had an LG serviceman come twice. We paid for his time, travel and service to adjust the legs of the machine. It still shakes and now leaks. Of course, this all started happening once the year warranty expired.When I contacted the LG company directly about the problems, I was directed to use the LG service repair. Beyond disappointed and frustrated. We are worried about the negative impact we may experience with our health with the constant mold that continues to plague the machine. After reading all the logs, something needs to be done about this problem! LG WM2233HW.
Siempre compramos productos de SEARS, así que cuando llegó el momento de comprar un nuevo frigorífico, fuimos a nuestra tienda local de SEARS. Compramos uno con congelador inferior (LG). Después de varias llamadas (y horas de espera) a su departamento de atención al cliente, y de responder a las mismas preguntas una y otra vez, por fin me puse en contacto con una representante comprensiva que realmente me escuchó y se dio cuenta de que mi frigorífico seguía teniendo la garantía del fabricante, así como la garantía ampliada que había comprado. Pidió un frigorífico de sustitución y lo recibimos unos 10 días después. Dos años después de recibir el segundo frigorífico, ¡éste empezó a funcionar mal! Optamos por contratar la garantía del hogar, pero aún así tuvimos que pagar unos 600 dólares de nuestro bolsillo. Ahora, otros dos años después... ¡¡¡aquí vamos otra vez!!! El mismo frigorífico, el mismo problema. Pero, debido a la pandemia, tratamos de reducir nuestros gastos, y recientemente cancelamos la garantía del hogar. Así que, de nuevo al teléfono con SEARS tratando de ver si había algo que se podía hacer (como si tal vez había un retiro de este modelo). Ahora algunos pueden decir mala suerte, pero yo digo CALIDAD BARATA... ¡¡No compre productos LG o Sears!! ¡COMPRADOR CUIDADO!
First my front loading dryer drum cracked. Clothes keep getting stuck in it and they rip. Next, the front loading washing machine is mildew smelling and the rubber seal has got holes in it and water runs into the motor compartment and the door leaks. The tray you put the soap into has broken and soap runs down the outside of the washer. Our clothes get caught in the seal and get ripped. The clothes dont come out clean and sometimes smell. This set is a piece of junk! I will never buy another set of LG products from Home Depot again!
El compresor de mi frigorífico LG (7 años) ha fallado, LG no quiere cubrir la mano de obra para reemplazarlo. I have a front loading LG Tromm purchased 3.5 years ago. This washer smells of mildew perpetually. I never leave clothing in the washer after the cycle is finished. I have drained the water, cleaned the filter, tried vinegar in the tub clean cycle, tried numerous washing machine cleaners, tried leaving the door open, tried wiping out the rubber seals and the drum. No matter what I have tried it always smells awful. I was told I was buying the best machine on the market. Now Im reading all the complaints about the smell and how the water doesnt actually get hot. Sorely disappointed. Will never recommend.
Compramos esta estufa hace 4 años y la instalamos en una casa de nueva construcción. El primer pomo de plástico barato se rompió durante el primer año. Ahora sólo nos queda UN pomo que funciona. He intentado reparar y reforzar los mandos originales varias veces (algo que LG debería haber hecho desde el principio). Mi pregunta es cómo puede una empresa fabricar un producto tan bueno y luego poner basura absoluta en la parte más utilizada de la estufa. Mi verdadero problema es el precio ridículo de la sustitución. ¿Hay alguna opción realista para esto? Este frigorífico fue comprado, antes de comprar nuestra casa, el 4,2,2015 por los propietarios anteriores. Compramos la casa el 31.8.17 y los electrodomésticos se entregaron con la venta. El 9,23,2019, dejó de enfriar abruptamente sin previo aviso. Cuando llamamos a LG, accedieron a enviarnos una empresa de reparación LG certificada para diagnosticar el problema. Este es uno de los modelos infames con los compresores notoriamente malos. Cuando el primer técnico vino el 30 de septiembre de 2019, diagnosticó que necesitaba una reconstrucción completa: compresor, evaporador y secador. LG rechazó ese presupuesto, nos envió por correo un compresor nuevo y concertó otra cita con el único otro proveedor de servicios LG certificado en nuestra área.La segunda compañía vino el 10,15 y reemplazó el compresor. El frigorífico pareció funcionar con normalidad durante 10 días, el tiempo suficiente para que volviera a confiar en él y lo llenara de comida. Luego, de repente, dejó de funcionar de nuevo. Nos dijeron que la primera cita para la reparación sería el 11.08, pero que de ninguna manera íbamos a tener que esperar tanto porque este problema estaba siendo escalado a la lista de servicio temprano. Nos dieron un vale de $ 200 para la sustitución de comestibles.11,08 Viene, y la empresa de servicios está en nuestra casa de nuevo. El frigorífico está ahora en peor estado que antes, ya que no enfría nada. También tengo piezas de frigorífico viejas y estropeadas que me han dicho que guarde en mi casa hasta que puedan volver a recogerlas y reciclarlas de forma responsable. El frigorífico mantiene una temperatura constante de 78 grados, que es 13 grados más caliente de lo que incluso caliento mi casa en invierno... Esa noche, LG nos dijo que tendríamos derecho a un reembolso o a la sustitución del frigorífico y que nos enviarían un correo electrónico con un portal para subir documentos, pero cuando volví a llamar unos días más tarde después de no haber recibido la información, me dijeron que algún tipo de fallo había hecho que borraran mi dirección de correo electrónico del ticket.Con cada conversación que tengo con LG, y con las Empresas Certificadas LG con las que eligen hacer negocios a pesar de tener la mayor cantidad de reseñas de 1 estrella que he visto en Google, me quedo más atónita y confundida. Mi prometido es trabajador de la construcción y yo soy profesora de secundaria. Nunca he experimentado el nivel de falta de respeto e inconsistencia que he tenido con LG a lo largo de este calvario. Hemos tenido que ausentarnos cuatro días del trabajo, hemos perdido cientos de dólares en comestibles e incontables horas al teléfono por causas ajenas a nuestra culpa o negligencia. No puedo creer que una empresa internacional multimillonaria no pueda hacerlo mejor. Tenemos otra cita el 12.27, por lo que no podré celebrar otras vacaciones familiares, y se cumplirán exactamente tres meses desde que nuestro frigorífico quedó inutilizado la primera vez.
It met all my standard and recommend to everyone. The price was reasonable too. The color and style I loved and was exactly what I was looking for. I will always buy an LG fridge and tell everyone about it. I loved the ice maker and there was so much room for me to store all my groceries. Very clean and open. Loved the space on the doors and had enough room for all the condiments. The shelves were perfectly spaced and had enough room. There is nothing really that I did not like about it. It was exactly what I was looking for and the price range was perfect.
