Las dos veces, un tornillo que sujeta la polea a la parte posterior del tambor se ha aflojado, lo que ha provocado que la polea se corte en la carcasa del tambor y provoque fugas. Al contactar con Electrolux la primera vez, la empresa de reparaci√≥n que enviaron hizo 4 viajes para reparar la unidad, y estuvimos sin lavadora durante varias semanas. Esta vez enviaron una empresa que vino a evaluar el problema y volvi√≥ varios d√≠as despu√©s para hacer la reparaci√≥n. Se presentaron a las 8:00 de la noche de un domingo, y ahora son las 11:23 de la noche y todav√≠a no se ha vuelto a arreglar.Para colmo, la persona encargada de la reparaci√≥n me acaba de informar de que un cable del interior de la m√°quina se ha da√Īado y que tendr√° que pedir uno nuevo y volver de nuevo. Electrolux nos ha dicho que no reemplazar√°n la m√°quina mientras su t√©cnico diga que se puede reparar. Estoy muy decepcionada. Para lo que pagamos por estos electrodom√©sticos de alta gama, el servicio de atenci√≥n al cliente es una broma. Vivo a 35 millas de la lavander√≠a m√°s cercana, y esto es un dolor total en el ** para mi familia de cuatro... Hemos tenido que recurrir a lavar a mano los uniformes escolares de mis hijos diariamente para salir adelante y Electrolux parece sentir que tenemos derecho a un producto que funciona como se anuncia. Espero que alguien presente una demanda colectiva. No volver√© a comprar productos Electrolux. Frigidaire ha destruido lo que una vez fue la mejor marca en el negocio.

Compr√© una lavadora y secadora Electrolux de carga frontal nueva en julio de 2015. La lavadora goteaba por debajo y llam√© a la empresa de reparaci√≥n. La rueda met√°lica trasera con la correa de goma hab√≠a estado cortando continuamente en la parte trasera del tambor y hab√≠a hecho un agujero por el que se filtraba el agua. Hab√≠a un mont√≥n de tiras destrozadas de la correa de goma en la parte inferior de la unidad debido a que la mitad de la correa se erosionaba al ser tallada en la parte posterior del tambor con la rueda de metal. No vale la pena reparar. Hice fotos y llam√© al servicio de atenci√≥n al cliente de Electrolux y ped√≠ un descuento para una lavadora nueva o incluso para una lavadora usada, ya que √©sta llevaba s√≥lo 2,5 a√Īos de uso. La respuesta fue NO. Me sugirieron que buscara ofertas. Me ofrecieron un 50% de descuento en las piezas. Nada sobre la mano de obra. As√≠ que podr√≠a comprar una lavadora nueva. ¬ŅQu√© tal si me ofrecen un 50% de descuento en una lavadora, ya que esto era claramente un defecto? De todos modos, nunca volver√© a comprar un producto Electrolux.

Wow where do I start. Purchased for almost $3800 in 8/09. Less then a yr old, all the door hinges had to be replaced with a upgraded hinge. Three months later the door catches broke and had to be replaced. Six months later the ice maker was making very loud popping noises. It had to be replaced, not once but twice with again upgraded unit. The ice makers still makes lots of strange noises. Service tech says thats normal? The final straw came the week prior to this past Christmas when the info panel read an error code of SY EF. Called for service and after several days they came out to advise me it was the evaporator fan and control board. The unit ran continuously trying to keep at requested temp, all to no avail. You would think an appliance would last longer than 5 years without a major malfunction. Not so with Electrolux. Still waiting for parts to arrive, 2 weeks later. I would go into additional details about the dishwasher and microwave oven at this time. Junk. Ive learned my very expensive lesson.

The ice maker has never worked. It does not maintain the right temperature to keep the ice from melting. Ice turns into solid block and is not usable. All the parts that could be replaced have been replaced as per comments from technician. There is a design flaws and the technicians have repeated that they have many issues with these refrigerators. Under the service contract, a replacement is called for after 3 similar calls. We have asked for a replacement and all Electrolux does is to send more technicians trying to wear us down. Well have no choice but go to court to get satisfaction.

Tengo una nevera de 3 meses y no enfría. Hace ya tres semanas que no tengo frigorífico y no se ve el final. No tienen a nadie que pueda reparar la unidad y no la reemplazan. Ahora están con el segundo técnico y no puede revisarlo hasta dentro de 20 días. Espero estar sin frigorífico durante al menos 3 meses, esto no es justo. Deberían haberla sustituido. Veamos. Una garantía de 12 meses pero la unidad no funciona durante al menos 3 meses y tengo inquilinos que no tienen frigorífico. Ahora tampoco compraré en Home Depot porque no lo cambian ni lo reparan. La próxima vez compraré en una empresa que venda y repare lo que vende.

Thank God we have one year manufacturers warranty and purchased additional four-year warranty from Lowes because this machine is a lemon. Problems started following amateurish installation by Lowes. It has only been in use for six months in a two-adult household. No demanding tasks; never overloaded or abused in any way. It is junk. Early on, it began to have failures of all kinds; excessive vibration and noise; six repair visits; one repair required the machine to be in the shop for five days while the inner drum, outer drum, bearing, and rollers were replaced. Sensors failed, door gasket failed, trim ring replaced, feet replaced. Repairman says that Electrolux and Lowes never replace appliances, no matter how needful. Cant wait to see what fails next.

I have had it looked at over 4 times. My dishwasher constantly leaks and I have had it repaired over 3 times. My microwave takes twice as long to heat anything as my old $200 microwave. Dont waste your money. Electrolux makes horrible products.

We bought an Electrolux gas stove less than 3 years ago. In less than two years, the enamel on the inside of the oven was flaking off where the racks go. These racks are on gliders so if you are cleaning the oven, its pretty much the only time the whole rack gets moved in and out. In other words, the rack stays in place but the shelf itself can glide in and out to remove food. I noticed 3 spots chipped off about 8 months ago after I cleaned the oven and was putting the racks back in. I wrote to Electrolux and sent pictures to them. They sent me back an email saying they had a technician look at the pictures and he determined this was normal wear and tear. So I sent them a reply stating that my last two stoves were over 20 years old, the racks were in and out of those stoves many times and all the enamel was still in place when I got rid of the stoves. This was a manufacturer defect and I would like this fixed. The liaison from the CEO then called me and told me the same thing that their reply email stated and again I told her about my last two stoves never having this problem. She then offered me 60% rebate to buy another Electrolux stove because they cant replace the inside of the stove. I told her, No, I want all my money back so I can go and buy a stove that will last. I had read online many people were dissatisfied with their stoves for the very same reason I was complaining. Also the front right burner doesnt light right away, another complaint from others. When it finally decides to light you get a loud fffumm and a huge flame shoots out of the burner. Now, the other day I cleaned my stove and the next morning I opened the oven to wipe the ash out and in the bottom of the oven the ash was rust colored. I thought that was weird but figured it was the grease that had spilled over before I cleaned it, but once I started wiping it out, I noticed the bottom of the oven is actually rusted and pitted all over. This is not normal. As I see it, the enamel is breaking off when the oven is cleaned. The front of the stove where the knobs for the burners, where it tells which burner is for each knob is all worn off. This is a very expensive appliance with shoddy workmanship! Now Electrolux is telling me they will give me 50% back to buy another one of their stoves. I would never spend that kind of money, and this was the most expensive stove in any of the places we looked. I thought I was paying for a good brand, a long time name in the appliance business and would stand by their product. I will never purchase another Electrolux product again.

Ha habido problemas de drenaje y de fugas, pero el problema m√°s constante ha sido el hecho de que la rejilla superior no se limpia. Tres empresas autorizadas de Electrolux han trabajado en el lavavajillas. Se han sustituido todas las piezas del lavavajillas. He comprado innumerables productos de limpieza recomendados por los t√©cnicos y el problema no se ha resuelto. La cuarta parte superior del lavavajillas no se aclara y siempre hay comida acumulada en el fondo de la m√°quina (causando un olor terrible - un t√©cnico me dijo que aclarara y limpiara a mano - nunca he tenido que hacerlo antes). He solicitado una copia de mi registro de servicio pero me han dicho que no estaba disponible para m√≠ pero que los t√©cnicos tienen toda la informaci√≥n. La pieza equivocada se ha pedido dos veces (o simplemente se ha enviado la pieza equivocada... nadie est√° seguro) lo que significa que he estado confinado en mi casa dos veces en las √ļltimas dos semanas sin que se haya hecho ning√ļn trabajo en la m√°quina. El mes pasado, un t√©cnico dijo que no sab√≠a qu√© m√°s se pod√≠a hacer, pero cuando se lo dije al Servicio de Atenci√≥n al Cliente me dijeron que el t√©cnico no lo hab√≠a puesto por escrito. Aparentemente hay un procedimiento que debe seguirse para obtener una revisi√≥n de reemplazo para un producto que no puede ser arreglado y debe ser iniciado por un t√©cnico. Todo esto est√° en las notas que el representante de CS dice que est√° a√Īadiendo a mi archivo, pero tengo muy poca fe en eso. En cada llamada de servicio me atiende una persona diferente y siempre quieren probar una cosa m√°s. Compr√© un contrato de servicio extendido el a√Īo pasado, as√≠ que no he perdido nada de dinero en este momento (aunque pagu√© m√°s de 400 d√≥lares despu√©s de que se acabara la garant√≠a y mi constructor pag√≥ m√°s o menos lo mismo), pero he dedicado una tremenda cantidad de tiempo y energ√≠a a intentar que esto se arregle. Mi contrato vence en julio y le dije al servicio de atenci√≥n al cliente que esperaba que esto se resolviera antes de esa fecha y que no se alargara hasta que mi contrato expirara antes de que se resolviera. Tengo cuatro cajas de piezas inservibles almacenadas en mi casa. Electrolux podr√≠a haberme comprado dos lavavajillas nuevos por la cantidad de piezas y mano de obra que se han desperdiciado en esta m√°quina. He intentado ser paciente con esta situaci√≥n, pero me han puesto a prueba hasta el l√≠mite y quiero algunos resultados.

A los ocho meses de tenerlo se rompi√≥ el tirador de la puerta al abrirlo. Desgaste normal con dos adultos y cero ni√Īos. Estaba cubierto por la garant√≠a. A los ocho meses me pas√≥ lo mismo y se me rompi√≥ el tirador de la puerta en la mano. No hay cobertura porque la garant√≠a ha expirado. Eso nos lleva hasta hoy, en 2016. CINCO A√ĎOS y un par de meses... ¬ŅCu√°nto tiempo debe esperar un consumidor para poder utilizar un electrodom√©stico como un frigor√≠fico? El que sustituimos ten√≠a 22 a√Īos y segu√≠a funcionando, pero yo quer√≠a electrodom√©sticos de bajo consumo. Mala decisi√≥n. Seguro que ya no los hacen tan s√≥lidos... As√≠ que hoy, en la limpieza de primavera, descubr√≠ que los lados izquierdo y derecho est√°n cubiertos de peque√Īas grietas, en todos los lados. Casi parece lo que pasar√≠a si algo se calentara demasiado y luego se enfriara demasiado o viceversa... No tengo ni idea de c√≥mo pueden producirse este tipo de fracturas en el interior del frigor√≠fico. A menos que sea por un producto defectuoso del fabricante. Algo en el material que utilizaron no est√° a la altura de lo que se necesita en una nevera. Esa es mi primera suposici√≥n. Pero, por supuesto, la garant√≠a es nula y el representante telef√≥nico ni siquiera habl√≥ de la posibilidad de que la empresa se hiciera responsable de los productos defectuosos. Pero voy a vigilar de cerca para ver si alguna vez se retira del mercado. No se podr√° utilizar durante mucho m√°s tiempo. ¬ŅCinco a√Īos en una nevera? ¬ŅSe supone que esos son los nuevos est√°ndares a los que nos va a obligar uno de los dos principales proveedores de electrodom√©sticos de Estados Unidos? Purchased second most expensive dryer from Electrolux‚€ôs assortment. Less than 10 months the dryer started making a terrible sound. A technician came out twice unable to fix. Essentially requiring to replace all internal parts. Electrolux customer service department is filled with incompetent individuals that do not understand the meaning of customer service. Each person I spoke with, were not solution oriented or the slightest bit empathetic to the issue(s) at hand. I emailed the head of appliances in North America (Alan Shaw) in hopes he could have an individual or team to assist with the issue. I was contacted by a horrendously rude woman (Rita **) who was curt and not once apologized for the inconvenience. She offered a 20% discount on an extended warranty. Since then I emailed the CEO of all Electrolux worldwide and have very little confidence he or anyone else in company will be accommodating or offer any resemblance of customer service. DO NOT BUY ELECTROLUX PRODUCTS.

Purchased a Electrolux Refrigerator Model #EW288S715A. Ice maker stopped working about 6 months after install. Electrolux tried and send us a new refrigerator. Within a few months the ice maker went again. Electrolux said they would sell us another new one for 40% off the retail price. Its a good thing we didnt do that deal - I have since learned that the refrigerator that they would have sold us would have had the same problem. So no ice-maker in a $4000 CDN appliance and after a few years an error message appeared on the panel.Found out that the problem with the ice maker has now caused more serious problems with the guts of the refrigerator from water damage caused by poor insulation that will cost us almost $900 CDN and will probably fail again in the near future. Electrolux know this is a problem but are not reaching out to their customers to tell them what to do - basically the company has stuck their heads in the sand hoping that purchasers of this product dont get together and go after them. I am working on starting a class action suit. Electrolux is one of the largest appliance manufacturers in the world and are abusing their clients with incredibly bad designed products. Stay away from Electrolux. I was told that Bosch makes a fairly good refrigerator.

(Fue muy amable) Dijo que era el tambor y puede pedir una pieza nueva y cuando llegue volveremos a sustituirlo. Llam√≥ a la reparaci√≥n, nos dijeron que estar√≠a en la semana siguiente un lunes. As√≠ que el lunes llega y se va. Llamamos y nos dicen que la pieza no ha llegado, que habr√° que esperar otra semana. Esto es extremadamente frustrante ya que tenemos un reci√©n nacido y hemos estado lavando la ropa en una lavander√≠a y en la casa de un vecino. ¬°GASTANDO DINERO EN LA LAVANDER√ćA! Finalmente despu√©s de m√°s de 50$ en monedas gastadas vinieron el 03,15 y reemplazaron algunas partes. Home Depot me ayudó y me dijo que me reembolsaría 300 dólares del coste que tendría el servicio de lavandería. El 28 de marzo, llamé a Electrolux para asegurarme de que me entregarían mi lavadora y secadora el día 31. Me dijeron que de nuevo mi secadora estaba atrasada y que no la entregarían hasta el 16 de mayo. Me dijeron que no podían hacer nada y que tendría que ponerme en contacto con Home Depot para obtener ayuda. Han sido 5 semanas de interminables horas de llamadas telef√≥nicas y correos electr√≥nicos con Canadian Appliance Source, el minorista; el Departamento de Garant√≠a de Electrolux; y Home Appliance Care Ottawa, t√©cnicos de servicio autorizados. Despu√©s de la primera llamada del servicio de garant√≠a, el t√©cnico diagnostic√≥ que el problema era la placa base relacionada con las fluctuaciones de energ√≠a en la toma de corriente de la secadora. I am not exaggerating when I say I had 22 repairmen come out to fix my refrigerator, including their own engineer who flew out and spent 8 hours and even he couldnt fix the problem. Very sad! There was issues with the ice machine and sliders which left the freezer door open for I dont no how long and the light comes on when it wants to. The stove has stopped working, so of course we had to eat out on Thanksgiving and Christmas and its still not fixed. The frame around the top was bent when delivered so the whole thing had to be replaced and there were some missing screws. My dishwasher has never properly cleaned the dishes; Ive given up on having clean dishes altogether. What Im saying is if you are on the fence about purchasing Electrolux appliances, take a walk in my shoes. Its been a nightmare since I purchased my Electrolux. I dont mean to bad mouth a company but having my appliances for the short time that I have has only caused me stress and frustration. I saw some of the complaints before I made my discussion and thought that some of the people had nothing better to do but complain, but now I believe all the people that have had issues because Im living it. I‚€ôm stuck with a very bad product. I will have to live with it until the warranty run out then they will go on Craigslist. Dont walk away from deciding if you want to purchase an Electrolux product: run away.

We cant afford an appliance that has proved it will need repeated repair.We purchased a beautiful Electrolux EI28BS56IS stainless steel refrigerator from Lowes in Meridian Mississippi 11-30-10. We had a Sears Kenmore refrigerator that was approximately 16-19 years old. It was still working well but was stained and had cracks in the plastic where someone has dropped a heavy jar. While shopping at Lowes, we were mesmerized by the beauty and BRAND NAME of this refrigerator. My husband is retired Navy and lives on Social Security and I work part time since my cancer treatment. This was a luxury but we were planning on this lasting a long time, maybe for our lifetime.We moved it in, but kept the old refrigerator pushed against another wall to make it easy to transfer items after the new Electrolux cooled. Thank goodness we did that. We had trouble with the ice maker right away, but curiously, even though the new one was bigger than my old fridge, it would not hold everything that was in the old one. What? How is that possible? Oh well, it is a good time to clean out items. Now I have less but the shelves wont adjust to really be useful. You would have to take out a couple of shelves to fit in milk and soda. That leaves even less room. You have to sacrifice sometimes to get something else, right? But what have I gotten - a really expensive albeit pretty refrigerator that takes up more room but actually holds less. Why does the ice machine make that knocking sound but doesnt make ice?Purchased 11-30-10; First repair 12-15-10. I asked the repairman his opinion about the refrigerator - I wont quote him, but he mentioned he wouldnt take it if I gave it to him free. I was concerned, but what choice did I have? Keep my fingers crossed and pray. I came to despise that refrigerator. Every time I walked into my kitchen, there it was, sitting there like a big stainless steel lemon, reminding me it was a time bomb waiting to go off - reminding me of my mistake. Calls to Lowes and Electrolux too numerous to count. Next repair, 03-22-11. Next repair, 04-01-11. Although I believe there was at least one more visit from the repairman, I cant find documentation, so I wont count it.August 2013 - a strange but somehow familiar knocking sound is coming from the kitchen. I sense a sick feeling beginning in the pit of my stomach. My husband checks the ice maker - there are a couple of pieces of ice in the bin with some odd black color. Check the filter (we have also dealt with 2 cracked filters that caused water leaking onto the floor). Change filter just in case. Nope - still doesnt work, but I am getting used to the knocking noise. Call to Lowes service company- they cant find the record of our previous visits (surprised?), wait, hold on, and on, and on... I finally hung up while on hold and called Electrolux directly. I explained what I was dealing with (again), and they do have the record of all 3 previous repair visits, but since I purchased the warranty from Lowes, I need to call them back. Okay, thanks. Call back to Lowes Service Company. A Lowes manager at the local store told us to ask for an RA number from the service company (after 3 repairs, you can ask for replacement?). Rep at Lowes Service Company said we needed 2 more repairs under the extended warranty because the first 2 repairs were under manufacturers warranty and they DONT COUNT! WHAT? Dont count as what? They were repairs that were needed. That doesnt make any sense. By reading reports online about this model, the company knows the problems it has had. They have to know its not reliable. Are they just hoping I will give up? I dont have any money, but I do have lots and lots of time to send my review of Electrolux and Lowes and Lowes Service Company every day and tell everyone who will listen.When we remodeled our home, we purchased all appliances, hardware, lumber, bath fixtures, and remodeling items from Lowes. I am very disappointed in the way they are taking care of this. I am very disappointed in the brand Electrolux. Read more than just this review- check all the other unhappy customers. Electrolux should be ashamed for having their name on this POS (excuse my language). I can guarantee I will never knowingly purchase any item made by this company. I wish I could go somewhere besides Lowes but our town doesnt have a big choice. I will avoid Lowes wherever I can if they dont find a way to make this right. Since the refrigerator is still covered under the extended warranty that WE PURCHASED, Lowes has set up a service call for 18 days from now. My concern is what happens after our warranty runs out? We know, and they know, this appliance is a lemon or just a defective design since many of these dont work properly. Are they just hoping it will make it until the warranty has ended, and we are on our own? This doesnt seem like an honest way to do business. If you buy an Electrolux appliance, BUYER BEWARE!!!!

The repairman stated the refrigerator was not repairable, he notified Electrolux and stated Electrolux would make good on it. Electrolux offered a 20% rebate on my next Electrolux refrigerator purchase because of the age of my refrigerator. My refrigerator is 5 years old. A refrigerator life expectancy is 14-17 years, making the average 15.5 years. My refrigerator lasted less than 1/3 of the average expectancy and I expected Electrolux to give me 2/3 off my next purchase.They stated my refrigerator was past warranty. Well Electrolux, this was a KNOWN manufacturer‚€ôs defect and you allowed the warranty to expire without informing your consumers. I bought Electrolux because I believed you to be upfront and honest and to stand behind your product and most of all to do the right thing. I couldnt be more wrong. I will never buy from you again and that includes your Frigidaire brand and I will be sure to let everyone I know and even strangers that you do NOT stand behind your product and are deceptive by not disclosing manufacturer defects to consumers at every opportunity.

Except for the microwave, the double oven, refrigerator, dishwasher & top gas burner have had numerous problems. Lucky I have a 5 year extended service contact which will soon come to and end. Basically the appliance are made like junk... The refrigerator was replaced be the manufacturer after two days since there was moisture all over the interior of the unit. The replacement refrigerator wasnt any better. They then corked up the air ports in the refrig/freezer wall to limited the airflow which is a ridiculous fix since this restricts the circulation which a major feature of the unit. The freezer cheap plastic draws are broke (no longer slide & not under warranty). The freezer froze up and had to be taken apart to get the ice off the back coils. The water dispenser had to be replaced 4 times to get one that would stop dripping. The water & ice dispensers are poorly designed. During power outage, the freezer starts defrosting in about 4 hours resulting in a flood on the floor from the ice cube tray. Door has no restraint, when opening, to stop it from hitting the Electrolux stove handles which is next to the frig resulting in denting the stainless steel refrig door. As for the stove, the heating elements (flaw in its design) in both the top and bottom have been replaced 3 times. Expect this failure will be repeated again& again. Without the warranty, this would be a huge expense. The stove was out of commission for least 3 weeks each time. The dish washer, first day of operation (bottom shelf loaded with dishes) came out of the washer and rolled across the kitchen floor. It took the repair service several tries to jury rig a fix to solve this from happening. The dishes never get dried since there is no heat cycle and you have to manually wipe down the inside of the machine to prevent the mill due smell that will occur. The wash cycle is over an hour which is ridiculous. The machine occasionally starts by it self. Most of the internal working parts are cheap plastic.Waiting for the microwave to fail. To date, the repair service has been to my house over 12 times... Our 20 year old appliances, refrig & dishwasher, never had a problem. In fact, we have the old Whirlpool refrig in the garage. This is where we now keep all the meats and ice cream... In conclusion, there should be a class action suit against Electrolux.

They sent a second technician who also no-showed.When I spoke to the Electrolux representative for the fourth time I asked to speak to a supervisor. I asked the supervisor what my options are because Electrolux only contracts with 4 repair people in the entire New York City area and all 4 had 1-2 stars on all consumer review websites and 2 of them had already no-showed. I was hoping that we could hire a contractor we know is high-quality, can fix the brand, and is available and have that reimbursed, like going out of network for health insurance. The supervisor put me on hold for a long time--the entire call lasted 61 minutes. When she returned she told me they would no longer honor our purchase date and that because the fridge was manufactured in 4/2013 they would consider it purchased in 10/2013 and we were therefore out of warranty and there was nothing she could do to help us.We have been unable to locate the itemized receipt. Electrolux has offered to sell us a $600 3-year warranty. However, upon reading reviews of our purchase, everyone who has had this issue says it is chronic and never resolved. Dont make this mistake. The EI288S65KS6 does not work and Electrolux is a company that will not work with you.

For almost a month I chased customer service to fix our oven. I wrote 2 complaints on their website with no response. I rang the customer line over 8 times. I spent hours and hours on hold. I received two callbacks that came at a time I was unable to answer so I had to wait on line for ages again just to get through. After waiting a week for a technician to come out, we were told the part needed to be ordered and would be another week. A week later, we were called 20 mins before his arrival to tell us it would be over $650 to fix including the call out. I refused to pay this amount. The oven is only 5 years old. I was told by customer service that because it was 5 years old then parts would breakdown and that I was not obligated to get them to fix it and could find help elsewhere! What a joke! Who buys an oven to last just 5 years!! I told them that after 2.5 weeks without an oven and multiple calls and complaints and emails I would not pay this amount. They agreed to a staff discount amount, however, the part needed to be ordered AGAIN (despite the fact the technician had it in his van ready to install that day), and then once the part arrived we would need to arrange an appointment for a technician again, so another week would go by with no oven. At 3.5 weeks we finally had the technician fix the oven. After my first couple of calls, I insisted on speaking to a manager about this matter, however, despite my complaint being escalated not once was I referred to a manager. I was told at one point to go out on the weekend and buy a new oven and they would give us a $600 discount! Not only would I NEVER buy Electrolux again, I also did not have an easy $2000- $3000 laying around to buy a new oven this weekend and pay for installation! What a complete joke! Not once did Electrolux care about the customer. Not once did they make it convenient of us. Not once did they escalate my matter to a manager. This company needs a serious look at their practices and a huge overhaul of their customer service line. I told they could not transfer me to the manager because they do not have the phone facility to do so! I was also told that even if that first technician installed the new control panel he had in his van, that I would have to pay full price. Why, should I the customer, chase all of this up because they do not have the correct technology or facilities to do what is convenient and right by their customer? They are a HUGE company selling electrical goods but do not have the most basic facilities to transfer phone calls or arrange for a reduced price with their technicians. NEVER BUY ELECTROLUX.

After dozens of attempts to solicit help with the oven, their customer service people range from clueless to nasty, and couldnt care less about getting it right for the customer. They just read their script and evade accountability. Theres obviously something seriously wrong with an oven that breaks as many times as mine has. Five issues Ive had: The first year of ownership, the oven‚€ôs glass door shattered during the self-clean cycle. The next year, the convection bake control stopped working. After self-cleaning again, the oven door locked and wouldnt open, so the power relay board needed to be replaced. Sixth months later after another self-cleaning, again the door locked and wouldnt open. This time, the authorized repairman reset the thermostat. Now theres a ‚€úboom‚€Ě sound whenever I turn on the broiler, and the repairman said we need to replace two igniters. Repair costs have been exorbitant, and Electrolux has been extremely difficult to deal with. Understandably appliances can malfunction, but when this many things go wrong and Electrolux refuses to take responsibility - the bigger problem is that the company doesnt stand behind their products!

Electrolux era el √ļnico sistema que ofrec√≠a una puerta reversible en la lavadora. Hemos tenido una lavadora y secadora LG desde 2005 y nos gusta esa marca, pero est√°bamos atrapados con la situaci√≥n. La secadora es un ejemplo impresionante de p√©sima ingenier√≠a y p√©simo control de calidad. La repisa de la puerta es profunda, por lo que el movimiento de giro de la secadora arroja la ropa m√°s ligera, como calcetines y camisetas, a la repisa, que cubre la abertura del filtro de pelusas, lo que provoca una mala circulaci√≥n del aire. Para solucionarlo, la empresa instal√≥ una paleta m√°s grande que aparentemente intenta solucionar el problema sacando la ropa del filtro. El segundo fallo es el sensor de humedad, que se encuentra cerca del filtro de pelusas, mirando hacia arriba. Es bastante grande. Como la ropa no circula correctamente en la secadora y acaba encima del filtro de pelusas, acaba encima del sensor de humedad. La ropa h√ļmeda permanece en circulaci√≥n porque es m√°s pesada. La ropa m√°s ligera, que se seca m√°s r√°pido, acaba cayendo sobre el filtro de pelusas y el sensor, por lo que la secadora piensa que la carga est√° seca y se√Īala el final del ciclo. A menudo tenemos que ejecutar tres o m√°s ciclos para secar la ropa. La placa de control electr√≥nico fall√≥ a los pocos meses de instalar la secadora. Los sensores t√°ctiles no funcionaban. En 15 a√Īos de posesi√≥n de electrodom√©sticos LG (el primer conjunto desde 2005 hasta 2016, el segundo conjunto desde 2106 hasta ahora - ambos est√°n en nuestra casa principal) hemos tenido m√°s llamadas de servicio en la basura de Electrolux en 18 meses de servicio que en 15 a√Īos para LG. Le rogamos a Electrolux que devolviera los electrodom√©sticos, pero se negaron. Acabaron retirando el frigor√≠fico y d√°ndonos uno nuevo porque el frigor√≠fico ten√≠a el marco doblado. El segundo frigor√≠fico sigue en nuestra casa y he tenido que llamar y recibir dos visitas m√°s del servicio t√©cnico. Ahora estamos lidiando con una m√°quina de hielo que no funciona correctamente, por lo que se acumula hielo en la pared trasera de nuestro frigor√≠fico, lo que empuja los cajones fuera de sus gu√≠as. Ahora estamos esperando las piezas que est√°n atrasadas para poder hacer la reparaci√≥n. Cuando llamas a Electrolux para una reparaci√≥n, acabas hablando con personas que nunca te dan la misma informaci√≥n sobre c√≥mo o cu√°ndo ser√° la cita para el servicio. ¬°Su servicio de atenci√≥n al cliente es un desastre y el verdadero chiste es que te preguntan cuando terminas de concertar otra cita si quieres hacer una encuesta para decirles c√≥mo lo est√°n haciendo! ¬°Ja! Los productos, el servicio y los proveedores de servicio de Electrolux apestan y, como empresa, deber√≠an avergonzarse de s√≠ mismos por fabricar productos de mierda y cobrar tanto por ellos. H√°gase un favor y busque electrodom√©sticos en otra parte. Quiero decir, ¬Ņcu√°ntos d√≠as quieres estar sentado en casa de 8 a 13 horas o de 13 a 17 horas esperando a que te hagan una reparaci√≥n? La vida es demasiado corta para eso.

And Im still dealing with them. Some background. About 15 months ago I bought a fridge and freezer set from them. They are fairly high end, stainless steel all fridge and all freezer set. Model numbers are # E32AR85PQS and # E32AF85PQS.I am amazed at the number of issues we have had with this fridge in such a short time. The handle is permanently loose, the seal is subpar, but those two issues are minor. After we had owned it for about six months, it started leaking water. We would wake up in the morning and there would be a pool of water in front of the fridge. I called the store where I bought the appliances, and they directed me to call Electrolux.After about a half dozen calls and no real concrete answers they finally gave me the name of two Authorized service providers in my area and told me to call them. I did - 1 was out of service and one wasnt taking appointments for a couple of weeks. We waited the couple of weeks while the leaking continued to ruin our hardwood floor. When the repairman showed up, he called Electrolux and they told him this was an issue they were aware of and they sent him a part to fix it. So this was an issue they were aware of, but they didnt bother to reach out to people that bought the fridge. No compensation for my ruined floor was offered.Jump ahead to about 3 weeks ago and our fridge is no longer cooling. The coldest it is getting is about 15 degrees Celsius (but it is usually warmer). I call Electrolux again and the first agent I spoke to says that I have to deal with it myself as it is past the 1 year warranty period. She asks if there is anything else she can help with and hangs up. Then I call back and get a different agent and I explain all of the issues I have previously had and she offers a part authorization, which means I have to pay for the servicing but not the parts.I do a little more digging into my receipts and manual and see that there is a 5 year warranty on the cooling system (which is obviously where the problem is). I call them back and ask for a supervisor and explain this and then she says yes, they will cover the service cost and parts. I am not particularly happy that I was the one that had to bring this up. Had I not, I would have been on the hook for a new fridge. So, she gives me two services providers to try calling to set up an appointment. The first is the one Id told them last time was out of business and the second one doesnt have an appointment until September (It is August 12th at this time). And this is only to come look at the fridge. I figure by the time it gets replaced or fixed I will have been without a working fridge for at least a month and a half in the summer (I have young kids, lots of milk and yogurt going bad).While this is all going on, I have someone else look at the fridge. He is an appliance repairman but not one of their authorized dealers. He tells me what he thinks is going on (compressor issue or worse) and I relay that to Electrolux. They actually call him to confirm this, but then tell me that his opinion does not matter as he is not an Authorized servicer.There are other repair companies that are nearby that would be able to come take a look at the fridge in the next few days, but Electrolux wont allow this because they arent Authorized. There are other Authorized repair companies that are further away that could come in the next few days, but Electrolux wont allow this. The would rather have us be without a fridge for at least a month. With all of the issues we have had with the fridge, I would assume they would try to be accommodating, but they are not, even in the slightest. So now I wait for 3 weeks for someone to even come take a look. Poor product, worse customer service. I would never purchase another Electrolux appliance and I would suggest others stay away.

So, I went back to the store, upgraded to an Electrolux and had the two switched out (with extra unintended expense, by the way, as the Electrolux was just a bit taller and required that I have floor tile removed - and reinstalled - in order for it to fit). That was 4 years ago. I purchased the extended warranty, just in case. But before the original warranty expired, Id had problems with glassware being cloudy, and with a garbage odor inside the dishwasher any time used the rinse-only cycle. (I always scrape dishes before I put them in for rinsing.) Repairman could never find the reason for the odor; plumber verified that the installation was correct and no crimp in the drain line. Odor continued. After another complaint, this time because some items on the top shelf remained dirty, repairman noted that the upper spray arm was catching on the wand that supported it. Fixed it, but have had intermittent similar problems. Had not called for repair, mainly due to the inconvenience of scheduling and needing to be home for the visit, but also because of some health issues that for a while diverted my attention. Now, after a few months of finding one or two items on the top shelf looking as if hot water never reached them, I called once more. Surprise! My extended warranty expired last year!!! (Upon checking, I find that the e.w. on my Electrolux oven has expired, as well.) I was never notified of the need to renew either warranty! The customer service rep with whom I spoke about this earlier this week admitted that there had been a problem with their notification system, but suggested that I had the responsibility of keeping up with that sort of thing!! I will NEVER purchase another Electrolux product, which, by the way is nothing more than a dressed-up Frigidaire. I have Frigidaire front-loading washer and dryer, which I hate (washer door will not close properly and dryer never has dried sheets or towels on the first cycle!) and about which repairmen just make excuses. Stupid me, I didnt know that both brands were essentially the same. Bottom line, count me totally dissatisfied with both labels!!

It was delivered in September... but wait, it was a different model. When we questioned the dealer, he told us that Electrolux had discontinued the model we ordered and that the one we had received was the replacement. However, there were a few small catches. It was all stainless like the one we had ordered, the inside was organized differently and the freezer had two drawers rather than three, not to mention the quality seemed to be significantly worse. But the dealer and Electrolux tried to tell us it was an equal replacement... right. There didnt seem to be a lot of options at the point so we settled with a far too small compensation. The dealer (Standards of Excellence in Concord, CA) came out and installed it in October. When they left, the doors werent even. In February, the flap on the French doors was jamming when we closed the fridge, so we called a service company. They came out, ordered the part and two weeks later, replaced the flap and tried to align the doors (not completely) and left. A few months later, the flap (mullion) failed again and I called a different service company. They came out, ordered the part, came back with the part, and spent a lot longer aligning both the mullion and the doors and left. The doors now seem to be fixed although they arent quite even. However, about a month ago, the ice maker stopped delivering cubes. It only gave out crushed ice and the display was giving some strange messages once in a while. The service guy came out again and said that the solenoid for the ice maker had gone bad, had dropped down and had fried one or two of the circuit boards. He replaced the solenoid but had to order the boards. Evidently, the fried boards were causing the computers to go nuts and provide random messages on the displays (and to the diagnostics he was trying to use). As of Monday, everything seems to be fixed... for the moment. But I have no confidence they will stay fixed. This morning, I called Electrolux to complain; their suggestion was to pay for an extended warranty. I absolutely hate the idea of giving Electrolux another cent for their poor quality product. My 10 year old Kenmore is happily humming away, working perfectly in the garage. I wish I could make it stainless.

I have contacted Appliance World and they informed me that they have a no return policy, and that I have to work directly with Electrolux. I have contracted Electrolux and they have sent a service man to my house 3 different times to fix the problems. My washer currently seems to be working. However, the dryer is still not working - making the same loud noise. I have had to take 3 days off from work for these service calls, and Electrolux is now saying I have to have a 4th service call and that my warranty does not include replacement of the machine.

Called customer support and firstly they asked me if I unplugged the washer (not sure what is the connection between the 2, but ok..). Then they said that I have to pay for the service and when I told them that the appliance is in warranty they said that I have to pay to unstack the dryer (which is on top of the washer) at least (!). Be prepared to pay $135 with tax. :( They booked a service provider that was not covering my area, so I had to call again and when I told the customer support about this, he pretended he cant hear me and hung up on me. So I had to call again. I am very frustrated with the customer service as well as with the payment I have to make even if the appliance is in warranty. I will never buy Electrolux and would never recommend it to anyone. An appliance that starts making that noise after 2 months of use is not a good appliance!

Module was replaced and door seal replaced. It still leaked. After reviewing similar experiences and complaints we cut our losses, scrapped it, and bought a Kitchenaid. Beware of the razor sharp metal edges when you try to remove it. The quality of the oven is no better. The oven door does not close tightly causing the light to stay on. Apparently it needs new hinges or possibly door. Needless to say, based on our experiences we will not purchase any more Electrolux appliances.

The first time we used the dishwasher, the control panel kept displaying a code 11 that indicated a drain valve issue. I contacted the customer service department and they referred me to a service company to come and review the issue. The service tech had no idea what he needed to do, and advised me that it was not an issue with the appliance, but an installation issue and advised there was nothing he could do. I then contacted a plumber at my own cost and was advised by a 25-year experienced plumber that there was nothing wrong with the installation and to contact Electrolux back to get a second opinion from another service tech. I contacted Electrolux back and after many complaints, they finally sent a different service company to review the product.The new service tech finally advised that the issue was due to the faulty computer board, which he advise Electrolux to replace. Electrolux then advised that the dishwasher I purchased was no longer available and the store which I purchased from gave me a refund. I then decided to give Electrolux another chance and purchased their product. Recently, I used the self-clean on my Electrolux ICON stove and when the self-clean was complete, I opened the stove and noticed the door window had dirty film in between the glass and there were two size toony marks on right and left side of the door. I wiped it with a damp cloth and pieces of the material started chipping off. I sent an email to their customer service department and they advised there was nothing they can do as their guarantee only covers working parts and not visual ones. I could not believe that I received such an email from a high-end company.

The steam/water valve on the dryer failed 4 months ago and after the load is dry the water continues to stray into drum, filling it up with water, runs into drawer and floods floor. We had it fixed by the appliance store technician. The valve has now failed again. A tech is coming out again. Has anyone else had this issue? Model # EFME517SIW0.

I set the fridge to 33 and Im lucky to get 37 with doors closed for 12hrs, Electroluxs response was well if you set to 33 and get 36.5 it is fine. NO I paid over $3000 for this unit and I expect my fridge to preform, I have emailed and contacted them 6 times and they have ignored each complaint.The unit is 3 months old and I need something to be done immediately, should I pursue this legally or are there any other ways to be heard?

I have done tons of research and they have major issues with their ice makers, period! Monday I took off work again to have the repair guy show up and the order that had been called in (by a manager) said I was out of warranty and to charge me. Sooo, he had to leave and now we are waiting again... another day off work for yet another company to come next week! Oh yeah, and by the way they did not get anyone out after the Monday incident, I had to again take my time to call them. This is completely ridiculous and uncalled for! I really want my money back because this is fridge 5, all ice makers with way too many issues, unfixable! All within the first year! I could go on and on but this is just the tip off the iceberg. Today they told me I had to call the service guy to set my time but they had already give them a dispatch number. Called and guess what no #. Sooo again I had to call again! We have the same problems that a number of other Electrolux buyers report. Our 2.5 year old appliances have had 10 service calls in this time frame. Problem is now that they are out of warranty, the service calls, and the cost of parts have become astronomical. The refrigerator filters cost $60 each. New shelf $40. Ice maker replacement part $200. Range control panel $535.51, range display board $211.79, plus service call $125+/-. None of these repairs are guaranteed, in fact the range needs these 2 parts for the second time. If you can find a service repair company that even wants to work on these lemons. Most of service companies refuse to work on these appliances. They do not want to accept responsibility for failed repairs. The service repairman basically told me that the repair will fail again. He implied that I should junk the 2.5 year old range ($2,800 new). Think Electrolux customer service will be any help? Think again. Their purpose in life, is to 1) Sell you more stuff like extended warranties. 2) Make sure that you talk to no one else at the company. 3) Listen to your problem, sympathize and give you nothing that will solve the problem. If you ask to be transferred to a supervisor, they transfer you to the next cubicle to someone like Therese (one of the rudest people you will ever encounter), Thomas, Stephanie, or Bridget. All of these people will tell you that they are important (BS like special assist to CEO) but they are dead ends. My advice stay away from Electrolux, Frigidaire, and if the sale is approved GE appliances. Electrolux is in the process of buying GE appliance. My advice, call the store that you bought the appliances from. That is how I got the microwave replaced. Dont be afraid to write these reviews. Use social media to help spread the word about these awful appliances and the horrible company is... Please, please, please, be a good friend and neighbor and help get the word out.

In short, the product was not a new product when we purchased it from Home Depot in 2006.When we contacted Home Depot about this matter, the appliance manager was very concerned and stated that they will be checking all products from Frigidaire for refurbished soot marks. He also stated that the freezer should not have stopped working after just a short length of time.As a result, we have contacted our attorney. Our attorney explained that his office will be contacting the FDA and also the Federal Consumer Affairs Office in Washington and request a full investigation into this matter. It is suspected that Frigidaire is selling refurbished products; and 100s of other consumers may have been scammed as well.The product arrived at my home from Home Depot in the manufacturers box and sold to us as a new product. However, the repair annalist informed us on 3 November 2011 that the product was refurbished not new!We called Frigidaire Customer Care Center today at 1-980-236-2000 and talked to a representative who had an extremely illiterate tone over the phone. The washer/dryer set is 2 years old. I have contacted Electrolux and they said I have a parts warranty but will have to pay out of pocket if I don‚€ôt use the warranty. What is the point of purchasing a warranty if you never have a working product? I‚€ôm trying really hard to understand why it is so hard to complete the repairs on the unit I have. If you sell a warranty you should stand behind it. I will never buy Electrolux again and most certainly will never purchase anything from RC Willey. Extremely disappointed in both companies.

Over the past 5-6 years we have spent $15-20000 on Electrolux appliances. Wanted nice looking and (we thought) reliable, high quality and dependable apps for our $$$ spent. Have continued to have probs with the refrigerator ice maker - a very moody part/worked when it wanted to!!!Several days ago I took ice cream out of the freezer compartment and it was almost melted. Thought maybe I hadnt properly closed the door (although a signal should sound if this were so). I rearranged a few things in the freezer and made sure the door was solidly closed. No change. The temp gauges on the front panel were still registering 0* for the freezer and 37* for the fridge. A thermometer showed 10*/freezer and 45*/fridge and these numbers worsened over a couple hours. I was lucky enough to have some freezer and fridge space in an older refrigerator to store food products.Today the appliance repair guy told me that there was a freon leak in the ice machine and could be repaired for ~$1000. But being an honest guy he said the best thing to do was to take it out back and shoot it and forget about putting more money into it. The prob would probably happen again and again. We are going to purchase a new refrigerator- NOT ELECTROLUX- NOT EVER AGAIN!!!! The Electrolux Customer Service Dept was going to give us a greatdeal of 30% off of parts - ordered from them of course!! Thanks but no thanks. After spending so much money on Electrolux already I am angry. Does anyone know about any pending legal action against Electrolux? After reading reviews, I am certainly not an isolated case.

Sin embargo, la compa√Ī√≠a de seguros de Electrolux (Sedgewick) no acept√≥ nuestro reclamo a menos que fuera verificado por un t√©cnico de Sears a un costo de $96.00. Estamos midiendo de 1 a 4 onzas de agua diariamente que estamos obligados a recoger en una taza, y vaciar diariamente, para evitar cualquier da√Īo adicional a nuestros gabinetes y z√≥calos. I had a high end Electrolux dishwasher (5 years old) that needed a new pump. I purchased one through Electrolux that took 20 days to arrive and it arrived with the connecting piece broken in 2 pieces. When I called to report this, I was told I needed a service person to come to my house to verify riptide was actually broken (it was against their policy to either take my word or to accept pictures from me). The service company to whom they had referred me sent 5 faxes to document the damage - they had to send 5 times because Electrolux could not find the incoming fax (they said they get hundreds - great system) or they needed more info. By now I was getting extremely close to Thanksgiving - desperate for a dishwasher. They refused to send a new pump overnight so I accepted they would send by 2 days and rescheduled repair for a Saturday. Then on Friday the assistant to the CEO (!) told me she canceled my shipment because the documentation on the damaged pump had discrepancies. She accused me of faking the paperwork and also accused the service company of fraud. What possible motive would we have for faking that I received a broken pump?? After an amazingly insulting and frustrating experience with Electrolux I went and bought a new Kitchenaid dish easier today. WOULD NEVER CONSIDER ANOTHER ELECTROLUX PRODUCT.
