Our Bosch is perfectly silent while it washes. It reliably does a very good job of cleaning everything. Our only disappointment is that a spring mechanism came loose in the door causing it to flop down.

Model # B22CS80SNS/01 - First catastrophic failure of fridge in 2013 resulting in over $700 loss of foodstuff. Case **. Replaced ice-maker in mid-2017. Second catastrophic failure in Thanksgiving Week 2017 with over $1000 loss of food products. Case **. Contacted Bosch and was promised that they would schedule a diagnostic check on the appliance. NOTHING has been done three (3) days later. Representative Ishtiaq ** actually DECLARED TO ME THAT THE FRIDGE WAS APPROACHING ITS USEFUL LIFE OF SEVEN (7) - YES, 7 YEARS! Im now getting ready to dispose of the dishwasher. I cannot afford a $1700 fridge every 7 years and a $600 dishwasher every 4 years. Not to mention the loss of food products and having to put up with the lies and poor Bosch customer service. You have been warned.

I have owned my Bosch dishwasher for 4 years. The first one I received was replaced and I lived with it. Sometimes I just want to cry at the poor job it does and other times I just wash the dishes by hand. I am not a plumber but I have learned to remove the wands and clean out the openings so the water can pass through. Yesterday I had a dinner for 10 guests and when I took out the fancy glasses they all had to be washed since they were not suitable for company. I am heartbroken about this purchase. Any suggestions?

We purchased in 2013 a top-of-the-line Bosch dishwasher and it is worked well until about two weeks ago, when it just died. My complaint is not the unit but with the complete lack of service that Bosch offers. The unit broke and we called for service and were told at the earliest date they can give us was some 13 days in the future. However that was not to fix the unit only to diagnose the problem. Fixing the unit would take ordering the part and then coming back to reinstall it. We circumvented this problem by calling Sears who diagnosed the problem over the phone ordered the part and was able to schedule us two days before the Bosch service team with would be coming out.As I was outraged at how long this is going to take I called Bosch to complain and they basically told me that they simply do not have enough service people in the area to take care of the products that they sell. I told customer service that this was completely unacceptable and that I would write this review. Avoid Bosch products at all costs. There are others that offer much better service.Updated on 2/14/2015:13 months into owning the unit the control panel went out. We called Bosch to fix it, they told us three weeks hence a repairman would arrive to repair the unit. Instead of waiting we called Sears with whom we have an extended warranty program to cover the unit and they came out 2 1/2 weeks after we called. During the call to analyze the problem and told us they were sending us a new control unit. The day before the visit we realized that no unit had arrived at our house so we called Sears. They told us that the request for the item was denied and they would come out and analyze the problem and order the correct parts. The repair man told us that this is ridiculous, the part shouldve been ordered and waiting for him to install it. He then analyzed the problem, decided that that was exactly the correct part and ordered it and he would be there to put it in a couple of days after it arrived. Upon returning to install the part, Bosch had only sent the cover with none of the control unit inside. The second order was placed this time for the control unit, whose arrival we are still waiting for, now 3 months since the unit broke. The moral of the story is do not buy a Bosch dishwasher unless you can afford two of them, one to keep on reserve while the first one is being fixed.

The compressor on our Bosch refrigerator seized after just 7 years. The cost to repair was more than we paid for our new refrigerator - NOT a Bosch, a Frigidaire Gallery. Stay away from dual evaporators - sounds nice, but its too complex for the government-mandated efficiencies. (The Bosch dishwasher is great.)

Dishwasher is three years old. The door does not latch. If is held shut by a magnet. If the machine vibrates at all, the door opens and the machine stops. You have to go in and push the door shut, again. Sometimes, it goes through the entire cycle down to 1 minute, and then runs forever, constantly reheating the water. I cannot leave the house when the machine is on. I have had the serviceman out 4 times, and he refuses to come out any more. Boschs solution to my problem? Use less soap. Never again. It is a piece of crap - and expensive, too.

We had a new kitchen last March and decided after much research we would buy Bosch appliances, supposedly they are very reliable. Unfortunately we found them not to be! We purchased 6 appliances at a cost of around 5k. After 1 week the extractor decided to not work. I informed Bosch and they came out and repaired it although it took 2 visits, though I must say it is not easy getting them out when it suits and I ended up taking a day off work. Whilst he was there on his 2 visit I reported the fridge/freezer was not getting cold. The engineer advised switching it off and then switching it back on at the lowest level to see if that sorted it, it didnt. Another call to Bosch and another visit from an engineer. He advised that the fridge/freezer needed re-gassing. I advised him it was a brand new fridge only a month old and I wasnt prepared to accept a repair and insisted on a new one. Bosch agreed and duly delivered a new one, this meant getting my kitchen fitter back in as it was integrated, again more time off.Now 9 months in and the main oven has a problem, after putting it on the self-clean setting when it had finished we opened the door and the glass cover clip had broken. Again another call to Bosch and another day off to accommodate the arrival of the engineer. I must say I am very disappointed in first the products and secondly Boschs customer service. They are very slow in coming back to you and not very cooperative either. They have agreed to cover all the appliances for an extra year on top of their 2 year guarantee but it is the inconvenience of it that really annoys me. Lets hope the remaining 50% of the appliances stand the test of time! Great appliances though when working!

Dishwasher control panel markings have all worn off after two years. So you no longer can see power buttons or different cycles. Filed a claim with Bosch like many other consumers have done. Bosch says that they will not cover it and claims it is cosmetic issue not a operating issue. It is an operating issue since you have to take out the manual to know which area to push to run the dishwasher since all of the print has worn off the control panel. I have noticed a lot of other consumers have had the same issue.

Absolutely love this stove. I use the convection more than anything because it seems to cook more quickly and food tastes better on this function. The stove top definitely heats up even on low knobs so be careful! Always start stovetop on lower settings especially if you have expensive pots and pans! When you are cooking in oven, be sure to press Kitchen Timer and not Oven Timer or the oven will automatically turn off after your done cooking which is nice but I always use Kitchen Timer button so that I don’t have to keep reheating the oven if I am cooking more than one dish or if I need to continue to time items on stove top. The depth for dishes is larger than my last stove but not as wide no complaints but just depends on what size pans your using. I love it!

After extensive research on the best dishwasher on the market we found that it was Bosch. We purchased one on 1/30/16 from Sears. Upon delivery they told us that the fact that we were told and there was a sign on the dishwasher we bought that we would get a supply of Finish dishwasher tablets that it was a mistake. I was told to call and deal with Bosch on it did not get anywhere with it. Sears had to come back because it was not hooked up properly before I could actually use it. After getting it hooked up it worked good for the few months we used it. We are only in the property it was installed in a maximum of 5 months. The dishwasher began giving us an E20 code and when we looked it up online it said pump or motor problem. I called for service first at Sears and was told it would be 2 weeks at least before service. Called Bosch and they gave us a number and was told the same thing 2 weeks at least. Went online to chat with Sears and was told that the pump and motor had at least a 2 year warranty. Today repairman came said the pump is bad and that the warranty would not cover. They told us to call Bosch directly to talk to them and have been trying all day but cannot get anyone to answer. I am put on hold saying I will be helped by next available person and stay on hold but eventually I am cut off. Frustrating. This dishwasher cost way more than others but we were willing to do it thinking it would be the last one we buy. After hardly using it we are told repair will be between $400 and $500. It is not acceptable. Hopefully eventually someone at Bosch will answer and take care of us but cannot continue calling week after week. It is already going on 3 weeks without the dishwasher we only use a few months anyway.

Have an expensive 8 yr old Bosch refrigerator. Already replaced water pump (about $400.) now door handle broke off at bottom. Bosch CS is worthless. Most repair services dont handle bosch - cant readily get parts. Those that do wont give prices - they want $100 service call to diagnose prob and then order parts for 2nd visit. And cant get price of new handle without a costly visit -- some scam theyve got going. It also never produces enough ice. Supposed to be stainless steel - aside from not being stainless its not magnetic - so what kind of SS is it really. My opinion is to never buy bosch anything.

I purchased a Bosch Eco action washer and dryer. Do not make the same mistake. Clothes never come out clean - spots do not come out and other washers have cleaned much better! If you run too many loads in the washer, it gives you an error message. When you call Bosch, they tell you that you need to call a repairman and charge you $100. The dryer never shuts off - it has this de-wrinkle feature that the dry clothes continue to spin even after they are dry - an annoying and wasteful feature. You cannot put a load of clothes in the dryer and then leave because it continues to spin wasting electricity! Dont waste your money on any Bosch appliances!

We are/were 20-year loyal Bosch dishwasher owners. They run quietly and efficiently. But in early March, 2018 we opened the door and the top panel (facia) came off! We tried snapping it back in, then called our handyman. He found that several plastic parts had broken off or were missing from the panel. So we called Bosch to order a new facia panel. It was just under $100 w/ shipping! First send was broken, 2nd send was missing a section, and the 3rd send was sent with a threat that if we didn’t have this handled by an authorized Bosch service person, our warranty would be cancelled. Our handyman is $50 per call, the Bosch “expert” approximately twice that! So, when our trusted handyman began putting it altogether, he found that each little part of the facia needed to be bought separately! The shiny handle clipped in, the cover for the power button which allowed access to the button, and the rocker buttons all had to be ordered SEPARATELY!!! This is now late April and finally we have ended our nightmare with Bosch customer service. Needless to say, this ends our 20-year relationship with Bosch products made with same cheap plastic as any other brand. VERY disappointing!

After 40 years, it was finally time to purchase a brand new washer/dryer set. Since I had lived in Europe, I had a high opinion of Bosch appliances and choose Bosch as my brand (Model #WFMC5301UC 16-496151) for both the washer and dryer. It was a huge mistake. Two years after purchase, I had to replace the entire front door, which wouldnt close properly. Now, the same door has a crack at the base (even though I gently lift and close the door from the base for each use) and the water slowly trickles down to the floor. The same is true of the dryer door -- two cracks across the top of the plastic. I called Bosch and the replacement cost would be half again as much as new appliances, which, of course, will be worthless. I was told that 5-10 years is all the one can get out of a top-quality appliance. I will NEVER purchase a Bosch product again. What pieces of junk!

We had a Kitchenaid that did not clean the dishes as well as the Bosch (I found this out when I got the Bosch). The Bosch has a better rating for reliability. The KitchenAid I replaced was top of the line and it died at 8yrs old. My wife says the Bosch holds more dishes and is easier to load. One tip, whom ever installs it should read the directions carefully (some plumbers are over confident they know how to install these. End up not getting the drain hose placed properly and the power cord) as these two exit the back of the dishwasher and when pushed into the cabinet they could have a chance to get crushes or tangled up or under the machine. The hose and cord need to pulled to take up the slack as the machine is pushed back in place. The drain hose needs to be 20 higher than where it exits the machine before going to the sink drain. Some folks complain of a foul smell from these machines and I feel the plumbers did not install them right. My sister in law has a Bosch and the cabinet inside stinks awful, mine has No Smell after a month of use. Thats why I feel the install by the plumber is faulty. I always bought KitchenAid but felt the quality has gone downhill and am very pleased with this Bosch... Cleans super well.

I bought this elsewhere about three years ago, and have to say at first I really didn't know what to make of it. It's definitely different from a conventional dryer. The drying cycle takes a little longer, and your clothes aren't bone dry when they come out. They aren't damp either. It's like they're on the edge of dry and they dry when you take them out of the machine. After getting used to it, I couldn't live without this dryer - love it. It's perfect for my situation, I happened to have a washer hookup and dryer outlet in my condo, but no vent. This is perfect. The little bit of water that comes out of your clothes will be pumped out of the machine and go down the drainage hose, or if you don't have that option I believe you can sponge it out. Give it a try, it's a great machine.

In 2012 we purchased a Bosch dishwasher based on Consumer Reports Magazine. We bought the top of the line spending a lot of money for what we thought to be a good unit. Since installation we have had it fixed 3 times the first being for a power cord that failed but was a recall that Bosch covered. That part again failed 2 years later and had to be repaired again for the same failure as the first but at my cost. The latest was for a power control circuit board. The dishwasher would start appear to be running but after only 2 cycles would stop and indicate the dishes were clean. However no water ever entered. A search on the internet revealed that other models had the same problem and was involved in a recall. A workaround was to open and close the door after the 2nd cycle and the unit would then fill. I tried the workaround and it worked, indicating the same problem and was later confirmed by a repairman. I contacted Bosch, provided all requested documentation and was eventually told that our unit was not included in that recall and the best they could do was 20% of the replacement board cost which equated to $24.00, but wed have to pay for shipping and taxes which was $17.00. I thought we had bought a well built appliance from a reputable manufacturer but have been proven wrong. Their customer service is terrible and does nothing to HELP you. In the 7 years weve owned it half of the original purchase price has been in repairs. I would not recommend any Bosch appliance to anyone again nor would I buy one.

It’s been a year since my ice maker has stopped working. I called them to schedule a repair, I paid $1500 for a new part, the repair guy gets here, completely breaks my freezer. Now I need to throw away all my produce and wait another 2 weeks until someone gets here to fix what he broke. I year later...my ice maker is still not fixed, I have had Bosch technicians come here once a month with a new part they promised would fix my problem. (I just want to clarify that every time they are supposed to come here I take a days off of work to wait for them.) Last time Mr ** The technician gets here he simply looks at the fridge for 5 mins and says the ice maker is broken and there is nothing he can do, and he leaves - I took another day off from work to wait for him.I call Bosch customer service again (I already remember their number by heart. We have a relationship for a year now.) asking for my money back for the parts I paid for that were completely unnecessary, I also notice that my door is breaking and it needs fixing. Customer Service tells me that they need to send another technician to make sure that there really isn’t anything that they can do and then they can only refund me the money back and that they will order new parts for my door that is breaking. This was three weeks ago. The day the technician is supposed to arrive I get a call in the morning, just add that I did take the day off from work again to wait for them, I got a call in the morning from the technician telling me that the part for the door never arrived and that they need to make an appointment for another three weeks, Let me just add that my door is really about to fall off and I will not have a fridge if it does.I never write bad reviews and I’m not an angry person but Bosch has treated me so badly and so unfairly, Their customer service is The worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. They will not try and get you earlier appointments all they say is that they are sorry and that there’s nothing we can do. The only place that I can complain is here and I don’t know what else to do and now I have to wait another two weeks for somebody to come here and fix my fridge which will never get fixed at this point and I will never get my money back for all the parts that I paid for in the past year to fix my fridge. I have lost all hope and I know at least to never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever buy any Bosch appliances ever again just to not have to deal with customer service and technicians. We bought the Bosch Gas Range Model#HGS3053UC09. Now the control/display panel is complete dead. The circuit board needs to be replaced. This is the second issue with this stove. Within the first two months, one of the burners was replaced. We bought 4 Bosch Appliances in February 2012 at Pacific Sales, 3 out of 4 had problems. Stove 2 problems so far. Microwave blew up and caught fire within a week. It was replaced since it was under warranty. Refrigerator - ice maker stopped working. NEVER, EVER again will we buy a Bosch product. BEWARE.

The plastic end of our dishwasher handle cracked, but I caught it before the handle became loose and broke off completely. It was still under extended warranty and Im happy to say Bosch sent out a repair person with the $5 part (2 replacement ends) and fixed it without cost to me. The repair guy told me it is a known problem and gave me the extra end to use if it happened again. I love everything else about the dishwasher and have had no problems with it after 8 years... yet.

The refrigerator was brand new and a near out of box failure, working less than 24 hours. On 4/23/15 When I first contacted Bosch, the care rep advised the first available appointment was 8 days later, May 1st between 12-5. When my husband called, frustrated, to see if there was any earlier availability for someone to come out, there was nothing in the system. The next earliest time became 4/28, where the technician found it needs a new main board and inverter. I have gone back to Goedekers Appliances, where I bought this thing asking that they pick it up, refund my money and I will buy something else. They maintain I must work through Bosch. Bosch on the other hand, called me once to promise a decision by last Friday (5/1/15) and never called me back. We have medications for family members that must be refrigerated not to mention the substantial loss in food that spoiled. None of this apparently matters. I had to threaten spreading the news, going to the press, Facebooking my story to finally get to a supervisor. I think when one has an out of box failure, it is reasonable to expect that someone will be out within the week to resolve any and all issues, whether that be a full replacement of the fridge, a loaner fridge or what have you. As this circus has taken this long with my having to stop my work day to project manage Bosch for status, what I had been asking for since 4/28/15 is either a full complete refund or a brand new Fridge. Being ignored thusly, today, I demanded a full refund from Bosch and for them to get this thing out of my kitchen by COB today. Suddenly now they can get a technician out today! I said yes, get your tech out here to take this fridge and provide me a full refund. Your time to repair this thing has passed. Get it out of my kitchen. And I hung up on ** supervisor in customer care at Bosch 800-944-2904. So he called me back, confirmed my name and hung up on me! NOW THAT IS GREAT CUSTOMER CARE!!! When I buy most anything, even a car, within 24 hours, I can get a full refund. If I buy a bad pair of pants, I get better service. Very angry.

The part I replaced which was shipped from the Bosch company was deemed faulty by the technician that came to re-replace the part. I have had several parts fail on this machine. We purchased a Bosch washing machine a few years ago and noticed that mold grows on the inside of the rubber gasket. We later found out that there is a class action suit for this machine. I called Bosch and scheduled an appointment and the man called in sick and did not show up. I took a day off from work for this repair and they let me know 20 minutes before he was scheduled to arrive. I told them that the next time if they do not give me sufficient notice I would send them a bill. I also told them since they were scheduling me for another day, that meant they were agreeing to my terms. The second time I took a day off they called and told me that the man did not have the part with him. I told them that I was sending them a bill and the woman told me that they do not reimburse people.

I bought my 800 series Bosch dishwasher a year and a half ago and while there were some bumps because I bought a used one from the Sears Discount Center the representatives were very prompt about repairing and then replacing my defective machine. Now that I have a functioning dishwasher it is not only my very favorite appliance of my house, it is one of my most beloved possessions. There are 10 people in my family and we are able to stack in a huge amount of dishes because the spacing of the racks are so well designed and the additional 3rd rack is able to accommodate all of the silverware. I have never had such clean dishes with so little pre-cleansing before I put the dishes in. There are times that still needs servicing due to the hard water in Arizona but once it is cleaned I am once again left with immaculately clean dishes every time, including my Bosch mixer which I can put in encrusted with dried bread dough and pots and pans. I am very disappointed to hear all of these awful reviews when truly it is the best appliance I have ever owned. All of my friends who have Bosch dishwashers feel the same way I do. There is no reason to buy any other brand. Do not let these bad experiences scare you away from a truly miraculous piece of equipment.

The seller I purchased this from initiated a customer service call and they did send out a repair person to look at the oven. He took pictures and said the cavity is unrepairable. After calling them again to get a final response they said the oven works fine and it is only cosmetic. I agree, but this is not minor cosmetic. Bosch is known for being quiet. That is very important in homes with open floor plans. I have a large center island where the back of the dishwasher is facing a living space. Because it is only about 58 db, it is practically impossible to hear it running. Furthermore, the end of cycle chime is necessary to know when to empty it. The soil sensor seems to work quite well as it will only run as long as there are soiled dishes. The water temperature gets quite hot, so I know unwanted bacteria is eliminated. Dishes always come out squeaky clean. I love the half load cycle and use it frequently. The energy and water usage is very low. I think that most people who own dishwashers think that the whole unit fills with water each time they run a cycle, and so they are reluctant to run the dishwasher. Many folks, unknowingly, use MORE water by doing dishes by hand than they would have done if they had put them on the proper cycle in the dishwasher. If the owner would read the specifications of actual water usage, they would be surprised how little water a full load uses in comparison to rinsing dishes before placing them in. I also like the fact that I can put delicate items, such as crystal and fine china, and know that nothing is going to come out damaged or cracked. The size of most regular household units will fit into a standard 24 wide lower cabinet. I also think the capacity and overall arrangement of the racks gives quite a bit of flexibility, as no two loads contain the same collection of dishes to be washed to be washed at the same time. This particular unit has a very low-profile handle and doesnt interfere with todays contemporary, clean lines in the kitchen. The handle is sturdy and feels secure. My unit is a nice grade of stainless steel, not a thin gauge that would tend to dent easily. The interior is also a food-grade stainless steel that doesnt collect unwanted odors or corrosion from the soap. If you opt for Bosch, you dont have to get a really expensive, high-end model since they are all extremely quiet and easy to use. Bosch also, in my opinion, exudes an element of high quality, even if its a low-end model. Generally, the higher end machines have options and features that most owners rarely use. I believe that Bosch is a good choice for a discriminating buyer who doesnt necessarily have a huge budget, but wants a beautiful, efficient machine that will last a long time. It is a work-horse that will bring compliments from friends and family for years to come as they have a 25 year warranty on their products.

We bought a washer dryer for £599 just a little over 2 years ago. It broke down in the 1st year, and it has been repaired by a Bosch engineer, as it was still under the manufacturer warranty. 1 month after the 2 years warranty has expired, it broke down again. Each time the problem was a broken drum. I called Bosch customer service complaining about the fact that an appliance I paid that amount of money for, has only lasted for 2 years. I was told that since the washing machine is out of the warranty, theres nothing they can do. I would have to pick up the fee for repairs. Id rather buy a new washing machine, instead of paying for the repair of one which obviously is very low quality. That is not something I was expecting from a brand like Bosch, but certainly they dont care about their reputation. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM BOSCH BRAND AGAIN as their products are really bad and their customer service is even worse. I do not recommend Bosch. Stay well away from the Bosch brand, as their products are not worth the money you have to pay for it.

The first dishwasher had burnt up the wires inside washer as well as outside connections. It took a lot of calls for them to agree to replace the first unit. I had read on line that it had happened to others. After second dishwasher was installed on 1/9/09, my wife and I saw that our model number was a recall to possible electrical fires. For about two years, we received letters in the mail of this recall. Fast forward to late August up to early September, the second dishwasher is not working right. Bosch agreed to pay for a tech to diagnose and concluded that the heater assy shut as well as the main PCB, whatever that is. Repair is estimated at $450 to $500 on an almost four year old dishwasher. Bosch said that I am out of luck because warranty is over and that the second dishwasher was a goodwill case, even though the first dishwasher was a recall as a fire hazard. Oh and by the way, it is just my wife and I, so we dont use our dishwasher like a big family does.

We bought a Bosch dishwasher she68t55uc mid 2014. It has been great but all of a sudden last month December 2016, the dishwasher started making a squealing sound. We called and a repair man came. He chipped my counter which I had to fix, he had to break the door hinge because it was fine before he came, but after coming twice to repair it, the squeal is still here. So Lowes will replace as under extended warranty, but I hope to pick a kitchen aid instead. You must press the start button for the EXACT length of time or it wont start. Hold it too long (more than about 1.5-2 seconds) it wont start, hold it for less than 1 second, it wont start. I purchased a Bosch dishwasher in February of 2012. There was a horrible odor from the dishwasher. I called their customer service and was told service repair will be done under warranty. The first appliance company came out and replaced a sensor. I was hoping that would elevate the problem. But no, the odor still emanated from the dishwasher - so foul my daughter refused to empty it. So I called again; this time using a different service company. They came out and said there was nothing wrong, and to use the Quantum detergent (which I was already doing, but Bosh customer service told me to use the powder). So needless to say, they left and did nothing. I called Bosh yet again and they told me to have it serviced. I called the same company (that was just there and said nothing was wrong) to come out yet again. This time they found the heat sensor was bad. So they came out to replace it, only to tell me they could not get this dishwasher out. I would have to call the installer. I called the installer to come out. They had no problem getting it out and charging me $170.00 to do so. My concern is that this heating element is not the real issue and I will have to have it reinstalled, pay more money and still have the horrific odor coming from the dishwasher. When I called Bosh and explained my plight, and all the time I missed from work, they said, You need to have at least 3 services done on it before we do anything. I truly dont think the heating element is going to solve the issue. Two separate components went bad and the dishwasher isnt even a year old. Isnt there some lemon law? I am frustrated beyond frustrated! Has anyone else had these issues with Bosch? If so, class action could be applied.

I have owned and used our Bosch Dishwasher for over twelve years without a single problem. Ive heard complaints about Bosch lack of cleaning. I have never experienced such a problem. Some of the complaints sound as though they have a poor water supply. Maybe a water filter prior to the dishwasher would help. I read complaints regarding drying. l would need to know what is in the dishwasher first. If there is a lot of plastic I would expect less than quality. Bosch dries the dishes with hot water rinse. The latent heat of the dishes and glassware is used to dry. Plastic does not retain much heat thus the lack of drying. It is my opinion that the complaints are misdirected. The poor customer service should be addressed immediately.

Purchased our Bosch Dishwasher in January 2020 and now, 6 1/2 months later it needs repair. Contacted Bosch Customer service to have an approved company come in for repairs and was given three local contacts. One did not service my area. The other told me it would take 4 weeks for someone to come out and service our dishwasher. I notified customer service of this poor response but was told that they could nothing do about this. They blamed it on Covid. Called my Bosch authorized dealer, who is not a Bosch authorized repair service, but who installed my dishwasher and they were able to put me on the schedule within 24 hours. The drawback: I got to pay and my warranty is no longer in effect. So warning to all: Bosch does not take care of their customers and their attitude towards their customers was borderline rude, extremely dismissive and smug. An all-around horrible experience.

Friends please do not go for Bosch brand front load washing machine. I made wrong decisions in buying Bosch washing machine. I bought it on 6/7/2016 for 25k and it is stopped working now as on 25/9/2018 in just 2 years and 2 months. Warranty period is 2 years. Service person visited the site on 1/10/2018 and inspected the machine and told drum and gasket has gone and needs to be replaced. The cost for replacement as they told first is 11800. After discussion with Bosch higher officials they have given 50% discount and now the cost I need to pay is around 6000. Investing 6000 in 2 years for service is not a small amount. People buy the product by trusting brand and my kind request to Bosch is do not sell this type of cheap quality products to consumers. My kind request to consumers is if you want to buy washing machine please do not go for Bosch which is designed to work only for warranty period I think.

This is my third front loader, and without a doubt, the best. It is silent, efficient, and everything comes out clean. Only complaint would be the marks on the rubber seal. I cleaned it every time I used the machine and left the door open but still got marks.

Food does not get off my utensils especially my knives. It looks as though they are rusty when it is food. A no handle dishwasher with buttons on the bottom of the handle does not light up. In a semi-dark kitchen, you cannot see the buttons to select and start the dishwasher. Poor design. I used to have an Asko and I think that it was bigger and brighter. No light inside and no lights outside. Other than that I dont feel one way or another about the appearance. It is really quiet. That is the reason I bought it over others. It does have its drawbacks.

The Bosch dishwasher seemed like a good idea. Its a reputable company, right? Furthermore, it fit my dishes and glasses. However, it never dries things. It is always dripping with moisture when I open it in the morning. The continually wet dishwasher has already ruined some of my good knives and stainless silverware. The store where I bought it came out and checked it. They claim its operating as intended. The company, when I called, informed me that you MUST remove the dishes the minute the cycles finish. That means that I have to babysit the dishwasher and it has ceased to be a convenience.

We bought a dishwasher nine months ago and it hasnt worked properly from day one. Parts were replaced twice and it didnt fix the problem. The repair person tried his best even calling for additional support but I guess no one knows how to to fix it. It stops working and maybe after 12 hours or so it will restart. Once it is working it is fine but that is not what you want. I have just hung up from being on hold to get another repair ticket for over 50 minutes and no one picks up at their end. I strongly would discourage anyone from getting a Bosch product.

I purchased a refrigerator back in June 20019, we installed it in our kitchen in December 2019 and the freezer did not work, we called the dealer and they did not take any responsibility for the damage, they told me to contact Bosch directly. I called customer service and they just offered me a repair, the refrigerator is very expensive. Almost 10,000 dollars but they do not exchange it. Only repair it. Today is the 2/27/2020 and still it is not been repaired. The company they contacted for the repair is a second party company, they just fix appliances. I have been eating out just because I can not use my refrigerator 100%. It is the worst experience for me and I have expend a lot of money as of today not only eating out but also calling these companies every week and trying to figure this out.

Our Bosch fridge/freezer is less than four years old, yet the handles both top and bottom developed cracks and then sheared off. Bosch was not interested as they said out of guarantee. Their resolution was to purchase replacements. I thought that one should expect a decent amount of time using an appliance before it broke like a cheap toy. Bosch appliances are not cheap to buy. I have never had this happen before as we keep our white goods for a very long time and they wear out mechanically. One expects an item to be fit for use and this does not come under that category. The people I spoke to said a manager would phone me back within 3 hours. That was two weeks ago and I have heard nothing from them. If they care so little for their customers, I would suggest not buying a Bosch item.

I do not have whether anyone managed to get help in France or in Cyprus for Bosch appliances? Trying to contact them, for both fridge and stove problems, to no avail. The French number is out of date and the Cypriot one does not exist. Bosch only wants to sell but does not seem to be willing to keep their customers in the long-run. Lesson duly learned and the word will be spread.

We purchased a Bosch Powerstar tankless water heater with a 10-year warrant
We purchased a Bosch Powerstar tankless water heater with a 10-year warranty in October of 2008 from Home Depot. At the time, the price on the water heater was $800. In September of 2012, it stopped working so I called Bosch. The first rep told me I needed a licensed person to come out and look at it before I could claim warranty on the unit. This was on September 28th. Okay, not a problem, right? Wrong! First off, they do not have technicians to send to look at their products so I had to call a plumber and I couldnt find one that could come that day. On October 2nd, the plumber shows up and after extensive arguing between Bosch and the plumber because he was told to disassemble the unit, take photographs of the inside, and send them to the Bosch tech. But first, they would have to send us the new O-rings before the unit could be disassembled, so $80 to the plumber and he left. The O-rings finally arrived on October 10th so another call to the plumber. He came out on the 12th. After 4 hours of this crap and $320, they decided to warranty the unit and said they would ship out a new one. Well, today is October 22nd and I still do not have my new water heater! I called Bosch this morning and they didnt send it out until the 18th. So now, after 25 days of no hot water, I have decided I will never buy another Bosch product in my lifetime and I hope you wont either! Very bad customer service.

Worst customer service! I had an appointment yesterday for my washer and the technician was supposed to call me the night before or morning of the appointment to give me a two hour window. My appointment was in the window of 8-12. I have taken a half day off to be there. No one called. I then called customer service at Bosch and was on hold for 25 minutes just to get disconnected. I called again and was on hold for another 25 minutes. The representative said the technician had an emergency. She put me on with her supervisor who said she was sorry and scheduled me for the next day for a window of 8-5. She said Bosch should have notified me and stated she understood my frustration and admitted over and over that this was their fault. She then states the technician would call me with a two hour window that night or the next morning. She promised I would get a call this time.Next morning arrives, yes I had to take the day off, and technician did not call the night before or morning of. I called customer service and was on hold for 30 minutes. She calls the technician, on hold for another 15 minutes, to give me the two hour window from 12-2 pm. I waiting and waiting... I then get a call close to 1:30 that he showed up and left because my building wanted to see his ID and he refused to give it to them. Ok, I get that, but why did he leave without calling me directly. Why have a call center call me?I told the call center I can let him up if he had called me directly. She said no he is not coming and wont come back. She gives me another company she has looked into that can come and fix my washing machine. I called them and they say they do not service Chicago and they are 2 1/2 hours away and they get calls from Bosch all the time and they tell them over and over that they do not service Chicago. I go down to my building to ask why they didnt call me and both the front desk and security said no one from Bosch has been there. The desk always calls if there is an issue. They cannot lie!I call customer service again on hold for 25 minutes and got disconnected. Called again and on hold for 25 minutes and finally someone gets on the phone. She says she is calling the technician right then. Im on hold for 15 minutes and then I get disconnected. I call again and on hold for 25 minutes and the rep says he has to put me on hold... on hold for another 20 minutes for him to say the technician didnt want to show his ID, so left. All this has been explained and in the notes... I said I want to speak with a supervisor, because the day prior the supervisor was very apologetic. Supervisor Ray gets on the phone. He says there is nothing he can do. Only reschedule me for November 10th-- two weeks from today or give me a third party number, which didnt work before. He was very rude and would not help in any way. He did care about all I went through and how I already took 1 1/2 days off from work.Again, the technician lied about coming, but Ray did not care. Why didnt he have someone else service my machine or yet, make him come back? He refused to do anything about. He never apologized until I said you are not even sorry. He tone of voice was awful. I asked to speak with his manager and he said there was no one above him. Hard to believe... I cannot believe how unprofessional he was. It was truly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Ray the supervisor and the technician should not be employed by Bosch.

Three years ago, I purchased a stackable washer and dryer for my condominium. Since I had limited space for these products, I chose Bosch. Now, the dryer stopped working so I call a repair service. $450.00 later, the unit still does not work. I called directly to Bosch to see what they could do about my problem. They sent a tech to review the problem and he diagnosed it as a failed control module. Bosch wanted me to pay for the service and the part which would have been another $300.00 or so. To total this cost so far ($750) if I replaced the part is not a good idea because I could get a new dryer for about $800.00. I feel that Bosch product is inferior and service is zero. As a small business owner, I think this is disgraceful. I stand behind my products and service and incur extra service costs when I have to. Even though it sometimes erases my profit on the job, I always take care of my customers. This is a big company and can well afford to take care of their customers in a proper manner.

Purchased new Bosch 800 Series dishwasher (Model #SHE68T55YC/01) on 7/26/13, replacing 15-year-old Bosch dishwasher. Now, the lettering on the fascia panel is coming off--DELAY gone completely--out of warranty according to Bosch Customer Service. New fascia panel cost $73.00 plus cost of technician to come out to replace (which the rep neglected to tell me after taking all my info. I just happened to ask before hanging up.) Ridiculous. A little tacky but I have used a permanent marker to mark controls.
