I join the many consumers angry about the quality of the Bosch Dishwasher. I purchased a Bosch dishwasher believing that this is a high end brand and a quality appliance. The dishwasher leaves dishes disgustingly unclean and even a Bosch service technician was unable to fix the problem. Trust me, dont buy Bosch.

Last year, I bought a Bosch dishwasher for near $1000. That was really a smart dishwasher and consented me for operation. I found that some micro and macro cracks have appeared in the top front plate of the set. As I am a specialist and a lecturer in the university, I found that these cracks are a result of humidity and low quality of the top plate of the set. I contacted the Bosch agency in Esfahan, Iran regarding warranty, but only faced very irresponsible statements. Contacting the Dubai agency also had no result. So if you have decided to buy this brand, please be careful.

I purchased a Bosch washer, Model WFMC22OAUC in Feb. 2008 along with the dryer and petal stools. I did my homework and found this brand to be the most recommended by pretty much everyone, retailers and repairmen. The washer has now been repaired three times. The mold sticks to high heaven and, being farmers, I can honestly say one gallon of water doesnt bring out **. My whites are now gray. I was told I could wash three loads at once. I should have been told to wash one piece of clothing per load. I doubt that that one piece would be cleaned.

I have had my electric glass cooktop since 2010 and have been very pleased. Never had a repair. It has an integrated Power Start feature which heats the element quickly to the highest power and then resets it to the continuous cooking setting picked. I guess like a gas stove would be. Another great feature is the Auto Chef that works with a pan that came with it, on one element. This sensor controls the temp of the pan, heating up only when necessary and prevents burning, but does do frying!

Food does not get off my utensils especially my knives. It looks as though they are rusty when it is food. A no handle dishwasher with buttons on the bottom of the handle does not light up. In a semi-dark kitchen, you cannot see the buttons to select and start the dishwasher. Poor design. I used to have an Asko and I think that it was bigger and brighter. No light inside and no lights outside. Other than that I dont feel one way or another about the appearance. It is really quiet. That is the reason I bought it over others. It does have its drawbacks.

The convection wall oven has locked up and over heated 4 times in 6 years, once cremating a very expensive standing prime rib roast, the circuit board replaced twice. The microwave had its circuit board replaced and the dishwasher had to have its hinges repair. All on my dollar, even though the oven was just barely over 1 year old, the microwave was 2 and the dishwasher 4. Their customer service is the worst. For company that thinks it is high end it is just another overseas cheap piece of junk. Do not buy Bosch appliances.

We bought the Bosch Nexxt 100 Series Washer and Dryer about 5 years ago from Lowes. For the last 4 years we have had nothing but problems. First the washer. I kept ending up with cut marks in things. Almost like someone was murdering my sheets and clothes with a knife. They had perfect cut marks. Bosch offered no advice on what the issue was.Second the dryer. The dryer has been by far the BIGGEST headache! The first issue was that it would work but wouldnt heat up. Bosch told me to remove the back panel and the 20+ screws, shove my hand in there and find a TINY reset button. Ok, fine. FOUND IT! Reset! But then I kept having to reset it every week. Then a couple days ago I tossed in a small load of laundry and almost instantly started smelling something burning. So I open the dryer and I have flames between the back of the dryer drum and back panel. Not the most ideal place to have a FIRE! Not easy to tip a dryer backwards with a pitcher of water in hand trying to throw enough into small holes to put out a fire. BOSCH tells me Lint makes its way to the back of the drum, down the back and into the box where the heating element is. Clean it out, put it back together, plug it back in and resume normal use. Make sure to clean it out every few months. Can we say NO?Needless to say, I will NOT buy another BOSCH appliance. When I go to buy a new dryer I will also be buying a new washer. The only thing these appliances are good for is taking out back with a sledgehammer in hand and releasing some build up frustration!

I bought a Bosch washer & dryer set several years ago. I was frustrated
I bought a Bosch washer & dryer set several years ago. I was frustrated because if I didnt want the pressed wood (cardboard) exterior so I had to pay more for the plastic model. I had the dryer for about a year and I notice what I thought was the dryer not drying the clothes and turning itself off. But when I turned the dial the light would come on. What is happening is the dial connection is loose or bad. If I push down on the dial the dryer sometimes works. I have resorted to putting a full bottle of detergent balanced on the dial so it will hopefully stay on long enough to dry anything. It rarely does. Drying clothes in my Bosch Nexxt Premium Dryer is a nightmare and can take HOURS for even one small load. (It all depends how often I am willing to run back downstairs to restart/reset the dial.) What a disappointment. Dryers are such simple things how can they mess it up? But they did. This has been going on for years! Not sure which is stupider. Me buying the Bosch in the first place or me putting up with it this long. My experience with Bosch is they are overpriced and poorly made. Who designs anything made out of pressed wood sandings or plastic for a laundry area? They do know there is water in a laundry room? It should have been a sign.

I am contractor, build new homes for sale. Have been building and selling new homes for the past 15 years. I have never had such a horrible experience like the one I had with this company. The new stove for the new house I sold to a homeowner does not work and have been trying to get the company to send someone to fix it for the past 3 days. They have given me 5 different telephone numbers for someone to come and take a look it. Each of them will tell me, I do not know why they gave you their number for they only service what is bought from their store. The bottom line is - stay away from any appliance with name BOSCH on it. Their appliance and customer service is the worst you can think.

Inside the dishwasher is roomy and configured to load glasses, plates and pots and pans after a family dinner with no problems. We use cascade and a dishwasher liquid for glass spots. The bottom rack is a huge amount of work because it comes offtrack constantly and the little wheels come off, no matter how gentle I try to be. I would never buy a Bosch dishwasher again and do regret my choice. This mechanical difficulty is annoying. Also, there is residual water on the top shelf, not every time but often (settling in containers or on glasses). It does get the dishes clean.

My daughter and son in law bought a new home 7 years ago and bought top of the line appliances. They no longer had their washer with 3 children to do laundry and the front panel cracked. They had a service man come from Midland appliance around 11 times to change this panel. My daughter and son-in-law work. So someone had to be available to let the service man in. I complained and thought it fair for inconvenience plus unacceptable poor quality of a washing machine. Bosch didnt seem to care. So this story ends with I would not purchase any Bosch appliances when I had to replace mine and my daughter has purchased the same set of course newer and it is DEFINITELY not a Bosch. Service was good from Midland but Bosch would not stand behind their name. I tried to help them as very busy parents with identical twin boys and a beautiful granddaughter.

Bought the dishwasher (SHX7PT55UC) 2 years ago from Airport Appliance. From the start, the dishwashers lower rack came off the track and the dishwasher did not clean the dishes. I had Bosch come out two times. The first time, I was informed that the installation was done backwards. They said they fixed it but its never cleaned well unless its on the most aggressive cycle. The rack still comes off the track constantly. One of the worst problems is that this dishwasher takes all color off my dishes and makes all cups totally dull. I hate it. It worked for another few months and stopped working again. Had another repairman from Lowe’s come and he left without fixing it because he didnt know what was wrong. Another repairman (#3 so far) came out and says he knows whats wrong with this model, there is a defect with the door latch. He fixes it. Works fine until a few days ago stops working again. Of course its now out of warranty so I will have to pay to fix a dishwasher that is a little over 2 years old. I wish I kept my old noisy dishwasher instead of this piece of crap. Has been nothing but trouble and I will Never buy another Bosch product again. Dont believe the hype. It is also hard to load the dishwasher as the racks are too narrow and it didnt dry the dishes well either.

At this point I had the machine for 1.5 months and have never done even one load. I asked Bosch for a replacement and I have a case file, but the service center keeps losing information or telling me that I need to provide more info. I bought this elsewhere about three years ago, and have to say at first I really didn't know what to make of it. It's definitely different from a conventional dryer. The drying cycle takes a little longer, and your clothes aren't bone dry when they come out. They aren't damp either. It's like they're on the edge of dry and they dry when you take them out of the machine. After getting used to it, I couldn't live without this dryer - love it. It's perfect for my situation, I happened to have a washer hookup and dryer outlet in my condo, but no vent. This is perfect. The little bit of water that comes out of your clothes will be pumped out of the machine and go down the drainage hose, or if you don't have that option I believe you can sponge it out. Give it a try, it's a great machine.

I purchased and installed the Bosch HMB8050/HBL8750 stacked microwave/convection oven and built-in oven pair in 2011. The microwave/convection oven was great in terms of roasting small items and we used it very frequently. That is until the convection part of the oven did not deliver the preset temperature and was making rattling noises. The repair technician determined that it was the drive shaft of the fan is broken causing temperature not distributing properly. We went to all the appliance parts suppliers and could not find the part as it has been discontinued. I also contacted Bosch directly, after being re-directed to 3 or 4 different numbers and confusion with the part number, they said no part was available. We tried to replace the microwave/convection oven with another Bosch but the model is discontinued. New models are now all flushed with the cabinets which means my existing cabinet has to be rebuilt and will look out of place with the existing built-in oven. Found a different make microwave/convection oven ($700) that may fits in the existing cut out but discovered that the Bosch microwave/convection oven and built-in oven shared the same power source!! The Bosch representative recommended replacing the complete system!!! So, because of a $180 part that Bosch discontinued will require me to take out a working microwave AND a perfectly working built-in oven and put in another Bosch $5,000 to $7, 000 combination oven in?? NO WAY! Will I buy another Bosch again? NO WAY! It is absolutely ridiculous to discontinue a part barely 10 years after a product in the market. Shame on Bosch.

Bosch are terrible products and there customer service is even worse. We bought a new house and it came with Bosch appliances. After living in the house for 2.5 years the refrigerator’s water filter broke and then the fridge stopped cooling. This happened at the best possible time. I just had my second child who is now one month old child, my mother and father in-law are visiting as well as my brother and sister in-law with their two kids. Bosch only allows for factory service people to inspect the machine. On the list of 4 in my area, Palo Alto 3 dont deal with refrigeration units. I was able to get someone to come out in two days to look at this. Keep in mind when you have a 1 month old child, milk and formula must be kept cold and they need to be fed every 3 hrs. The factory tech said the problem was a leak in the coolant. He cant guarantee the fix because they cant fix all leaks, but since the fridge is out of warranty the repair will cost $900. Keep in mind I went to Home Depot and bought a fridge out of necessity for my garage, GE, $400.I asked Bosch if they could work with me on the repair or discount a new fridge. If they would Id buy Bosch and be a loyal customer. They said youre out of warranty so we wont do anything for you. Huge inconvenience factor and they just dont care about the customer.

I have had my Bosch dishwasher for two years now. Last October (after having it for 14 months) I finally figured out what was on my dishes when I removed them from the dishwasher after running them through the cycle. IT WAS MOLD. I called Bosch, I wrote to Bosch - finally they agreed to send someone out to check out my dishwasher for which I would be responsible for paying the service fee. At first I agreed and then phoned them back and said I would not pay it as I felt the dishwasher was still considered new. They did eventually send someone out - a 19 year old boy who walked into the house knowing what my problem was. He said this happens a lot because people dont bother to clean out the food trap at the bottom of the dishwasher and the accumulating food is causing the mold. Hmmm. Well, he took my dishwasher apart and surprise! There was nothing in the trap. I did not bother to tell him that I thoroughly rinse all the dishes/silver before placing it in the dishwasher. He did not know what to say so he just said he would get back in touch with Bosch. He said possible it needed a new control board. Well after going back and forth with Bosch - and tossing out ALL my dishes, silver and glassware due to it being infected with the black mold - I was told to run it through a clean cycle using a solution. I did this and was afraid to use my dishwasher in case it came back... Well, this morning when I unloaded the dishwasher - ITS BACK! Im not even going to try again - I will go out this weekend and buy a different brand. Now my microwave that I bought at the same time - has gotten steam under the glass on the front door for the longest time. Noticed a few months ago that the plastic around the outside of the window is cracked in two places. Will I ever purchase another Bosch appliance? NEVER!

We have had dishwashers since 1974 and were always satisfied. A guarantee should not mean that after 2 years machines should start misbehaving. The baskets are rusting even though no objects that could rust were put in there. The light for the main programme failed. The on off - switch failed. We are very disappointed as the very 1st dishwasher we had from Phillips lasted for ages and we only replaced it because we moved house and had a new kitchen. Very unhappy. Friends please do not go for Bosch brand front load washing machine. I made wrong decisions in buying Bosch washing machine. I bought it on 6/7/2016 for 25k and it is stopped working now as on 25/9/2018 in just 2 years and 2 months. Warranty period is 2 years. Service person visited the site on 1/10/2018 and inspected the machine and told drum and gasket has gone and needs to be replaced. The cost for replacement as they told first is 11800. After discussion with Bosch higher officials they have given 50% discount and now the cost I need to pay is around 6000. Investing 6000 in 2 years for service is not a small amount. People buy the product by trusting brand and my kind request to Bosch is do not sell this type of cheap quality products to consumers. My kind request to consumers is if you want to buy washing machine please do not go for Bosch which is designed to work only for warranty period I think.

Every computer component was replaced while under warranty; some components more than once. It was finally determined to be unrepairable by the repair person who had been here numerous times. The warranty company sent another repair company who told them that the oven did not fail during the one time that they were here, so the warranty co. told me that I had to pay the service call fee & that they would not return. I bought this dishwasher based on customer reviews. I like the washing performance of this dishwasher, and the lighted controls…especially that it tells me how many minutes are left on the chosen cycle and when it is finished. It is also very quiet. There is one thing that frustrates me and that is the design of the lower rack. The tines are placed so that it can accommodate 12 place settings (according to the instruction manual). Few, if any, people have need for this on a daily basis. What is needed for families is capacity for place settings combined with serving bowls, mixing bowls, and cooking utensils. However, the tines are positioned so that this is very difficult and requires running the dishwasher more frequently or doing more hand washing. (My previous dishwasher was much more accommodating of a variety of dishes and pans.)I wrote a letter to the manufacturer with my concerns and asked if there is an alternative bottom rack. I got a callback but was unavailable. The message was that they would call back. Never happened. I called the number in the instruction book twice, each time the representative said she would have another person call me back...never happened. I thought Bosch was a top of the line brand and expected better service than this. At this point I would never recommend this brand to anyone. Model SHEM63W56N/13.

I purchased a $1,600 Bosch dishwasher with the hope of owning a top rated and performing dishwasher. Wrong! This dishwasher has been nothing but trouble. At 8 months, it leaked profusely and caused $4,000 in damage to the kitchen in my 2 year old house. I live in Florida and this caused mold, which required remediation and the replacement of a kitchen cabinet. The pain of messing up my beautiful new home in addition to the loss of use of a dishwasher for 4 months. Their insurance company did pay, but my inconvenience and exposure to the mold was not even considered. The next year, the power cord was recalled due to fires. A backorder for the part took one month. Last month, the drain pump failed and another 3 weeks of no dishwasher. All told, this dishwasher has been out of commission for almost 5 months. Bosch’s Reply is, The dishwasher is out of warranty, so take it up with your extended warranty. What about Bosch’s obligation to provide the customer with the goods that they paid for? Did I mention how rude the customer service reps are? Bosch needs to own up to their shortcomings and be fair to the consumer. Lemons happen and they need to correct the situation with a new product. Don’t hold your breath!

Now, the lettering on the fascia panel is coming off--DELAY gone completely--out of warranty according to Bosch Customer Service. New fascia panel cost $73.00 plus cost of technician to come out to replace (which the rep neglected to tell me after taking all my info. I just happened to ask before hanging up.) Ridiculous. A little tacky but I have used a permanent marker to mark controls.

On December 2, 2019 dishwasher quit working. Called Bosch and was referred to factory certified repair company. Repairman came and looked at dishwasher on January 2, 2020. He took a look at the washer and said it had burned out the junction box just like all the recall units he had replaced. He went back to shop and the people contacted bosch about the washer. They wanted documentation like proof of purchase. We provided and heard nothing from bosch.I contacted bosch the next week and they said they had no paperwork and contacted the shop. While I was on hold, the shop sent paperwork again right away and then I was told I had to provide pictures. Contacted bosch again the next week and they said they had no paperwork even after providing case number. After 45 minutes on phone they said they might replace parts but tough luck, we paid $1000 for a washer that doesnt work and was purchased in May of 2017. Terrible Customer Service if you can call it that. I have another way of putting it but it is not suitable to be printed would not buy bosch again and will actively discourage anybody from buying.

Purchased our Bosch Dishwasher in January 2020 and now, 6 1/2 months later it needs repair. Contacted Bosch Customer service to have an approved company come in for repairs and was given three local contacts. One did not service my area. The other told me it would take 4 weeks for someone to come out and service our dishwasher. I notified customer service of this poor response but was told that they could nothing do about this. They blamed it on Covid. Called my Bosch authorized dealer, who is not a Bosch authorized repair service, but who installed my dishwasher and they were able to put me on the schedule within 24 hours. The drawback: I got to pay and my warranty is no longer in effect. So warning to all: Bosch does not take care of their customers and their attitude towards their customers was borderline rude, extremely dismissive and smug. An all-around horrible experience.

For decades now I have used and preferred Bosch products. Recently I have had an ongoing bad experience with a Bosch dishwasher that I bought last June from Sears. Last January it abruptly stopped working. It was under warranty so I contacted Bosch as Sears does not handle warranty issues. I was told to contact a local service provider. To my regret I called Appliance Marshall repair in Cary Illinois. The idiot they sent made 2 trips and was not able to figure out how to make the warranty repairs. Instead he claimed that water leaking from the brand new custom made to accommodate my new dishwasher had somehow leaked water that damaged the dishwasher, and that it was not covered by warranty. I told him that there was never any such event, and there was no water leak anywhere. The only source of water in that location was the dishwasher. I have pictures that show the floor discolorations and that the leak came from the dishwasher itself. There is no discolouration or drip line on the floor aside from the perimeter of the unit. But since this guy used up my 2 service calls I have to pay for some 3rd party to come out and fix my dishwasher. This has been going on for over 2 months now and I still cannot use my VERY expensive Bosch dishwasher. I should add that during both visits this creep made to my home he made me very uncomfortable by asking irrelevant questions, suggesting friends for repairs to the new home I am remodeling, and really strange behaviour. I hope these guys are subject to a successful criminal background check prior to being sent into peoples homes. Anyway, prior to his deciding and informing Bosch that he could not accomplish the warranty repairs, I called and emailed Appliance Marshall repair that he never be sent to my home again since he made me so uncomfortable. Since an accurate and verifiable diagnosis of this unit was never made I feel that I have a Bosch product in my kitchen that is a fire and electrocution hazard. I just want to express my extreme dissatisfaction with Bosch.

Bosch service tech discovered a manufacturers defect in my new dishwasher model number SHEM63W55N. My dealer submitted the request to replace immediately. The RA paperwork took 7 weeks. After spending the morning on the phone with the seller, I was told this model is not available. When I called Bosch, the customer service informed me that they have closed the issue and that they are done. No suggestions or offers to correct the issue and no apology for their delays. I have to hope that the seller will do what is necessary to correct the issue. Would have expected better and more compassion from their customer service people. I do not recommend Bosch if you want good customer service!

I have a very small dishwasher because of my space. This model is the latest model and works really well. I like the fact that there is a separate cutlery section. HMB5050 Bosch microwave - I remodeled my kitchen 3 years ago. Researched the big Bosch appliances and most received good reviews. The least expensive item, the microwave, I did not research. Big Mistake!!! Read the reviews, all have the same issue. Total failure between 2-3 years. Inverter board/magnetron. Repair cost $600!! So many reviews with the same issue, Bosch should have recalled this item. Instead just discontinued it. No help from customer service, although they did have me go through the trouble of sending them a bunch of stuff. In the end they offered me $25 towards a new inverter board. Im considering a small claims court option. I have enough info about the item to at least warrant a try. All my other Bosch appliances: warming drawer, double wall ovens, dishwasher, 5-burner gas cooktop, have held up well. I cook a lot! Just such a disappointing experience with the darn microwave! I wish they would help me out with a credit towards a new one! They know this thing has serious issues! Ill keep you posted!

Have an expensive 8 yr old Bosch refrigerator. Already replaced water pump (about $400.) now door handle broke off at bottom. Bosch CS is worthless. Most repair services dont handle bosch - cant readily get parts. Those that do wont give prices - they want $100 service call to diagnose prob and then order parts for 2nd visit. And cant get price of new handle without a costly visit -- some scam theyve got going. It also never produces enough ice. Supposed to be stainless steel - aside from not being stainless its not magnetic - so what kind of SS is it really. My opinion is to never buy bosch anything.

Our Bosch washing machine is just 4 years old, with very light use and the main bearing has failed. The drum has come loose and caused friction so that it has melted, with smoke from the machine and had to be turned off to prevent a fire. Bosch have not accepted that this is a fault and have refused to inspect the damage. I do not expect this quality from the manufacturer, previous machines have lasted 6 to 8 years. I had a Bosch Dishwasher go out on us while still under warranty. This happened in March, it is now mid September. In order to have warranty work done, you have to go through one of Boschs certified repair facilities. A gomer from the worst appliance service firm in town came out 3 times at over $75.00 a crack. They ordered parts, which Bosch was out of. Our problem was so rare according to the wonderfully inept anti-customer service rep that I spoke to, that actually drew out a long sigh on the phone like I was interrupting a wonderful game of spider solitaire. Fast forward, 3 more service calls and we still have a wonderfully designed German paperweight. Gomer Senior from the Authorized Service Company let us slide on the last service call because he flooded my basement. Yes, a dishwasher repairman forgot about the water that could be in a dishwasher. I called Bosch and said no more, enough, just stop. I sent them 8 pages of documentation with the time line of our torture and heard nothing from them. Fast forward, several e-mails and placed calls to Pam, the Manager. I am starting to think that Pam is paid a piece rate by LG or Whirlpool to see how many customers she can send away from Bosch. Pam never returned my e-mails, or phone calls. Mind you, in her defense the one area she has trained her wonderful, rude, and inept staff in is to avoid forwarding anything to her. Then, just the guy making $8.00 per hour can get blamed. I was just told today that 3 weeks ago, she denied that Bosch was responsible for anything. Is this for real? are you sure you want to take that road Pam?

We purchased a Bosch 800 Series HMB8050 Built-in Microwave on 6/2010. On 5/4/2011, their service contractor changed a blown fuse and again on 10/30/2013. We did not have to pay for these service calls or parts. It stopped working again 2 weeks later. On 12/09/2013, they come out and replaced the PC board, switch, and fan. That cost me $99.00 for the service call. Five days later, the glass plate would not stop turning and light would not turn off. Right now we have it unplugged. When we called their customer service department, they said that this is considered a new work order and that I would have to pay for all service charges and parts which could cost us up to $500.00. We paid $1,100 for the appliance and $250 to have our cabinet adjusted to fit the unit in the wall. In 2010, we also bought a Bosch wall oven and dishwasher and have had no problems with these appliances. This has been very frustrating, highly inconvenient, and very expensive. At this point, we are still trying to figure out what to do next. We either will have to pay to get it fixed or buy a new Bosch!

Within a month, we could not get it to start because the door would not close. The tech said it needed to be leveled. Two months later, the door wont close. Tech has to order a bracket for the door. Two months later, same problems -- tech removes some of the parts of the top rack. Two months later, same problems. I have asked for a replacement and no one got back to me. Today, same problem. I think they are just trying to put me off until the warranty runs out.

Nice but not that nice. My salesman very highly suggested this dishwasher so I bought it for $900. The good? Its very good looking. The bad? I do not find it any better than a $500 dishwasher from GE. Its quiet but not silent. It seems to clean dishes fine but it will not dry them no matter what you try. I live in a very very dry part of the country and no matter how much or how little I load this machine up with... and select Extra Dry when I open the dishwasher in the morning after running at night... not only are the dishes and cups still wet but so is the inside of the dishwasher. So, whats the point of having controls to select dryness? Oh, the (3) not 4 legs are plastic and all 3 of them broke off when I tried to slide the dishwasher. Great huh? Funny, I know steel legs may cost another $5 but I dont remember arguing with the salesperson about $5. so why not raise the price by $5. and get rid of the cheap cheap cheap plastic legs. My brand new $900 dishwasher now sits on wooden blocks... Great idea... Plastic legs.

The tumble dryer was not working properly, not drying the container button kept flashing even though the container was not even a quarter full, and then the handle broke. We call Bosch with the same problem (under warranty) months ago and the engineer said that he could find a fault - he admitted that the handle (top) was broken but did nothing about both problems. Today, we had an engineer coming and all he wanted first was his call charge. He refused to look at it and did not have a spare handle to change despite our phone call to make sure we wont waste time on this. We refused to pay because when weve spoken to Bosch we said that this was an existing problem, and of course now our warranty had run out. Weve spoken to a Supervisor and said they could not do anything and could not find our previous call and existing problem. Very angry with them. All our appliances are from Bosch. WE WILL NOT BE BUYING FROM BOSCH ANYMORE AND WILL PASS ON THE BAD EXPERIENCE WE HAD TO EVERYBODY. Do not buy from Bosch, they will try to rip you off like us once a problem arises. They wait until the warranty runs out to make you pay whatever they can.

I would NEVER recommend a Bosch dishwasher to anyone. I bought the top of the line based on previous reliability of Bosch products. What I never expected was that they would REFUSE to stand behind their warranty. My dishwasher has completed less than 100 loads in total - or about $30 a load. Not even close to value for money in my opinion. It started leaking and triggering the dreaded E:15 within 5 months of install. When a pinhole leak was discovered in the machine the certified repair tech told us he had never seen this and it was clearly a manufacturing defect. Bosch, decided not to look at it and refused to honour the warranty. Now I guess we get to work with consumer affairs. I am happy to share photos for all to see.

My experience has been sooo baddd with Bosch customer service. So, we build our home and one my friend recommend me to get Bosch Appliances so I did. I order my kitchen appliances with bosch back in May. I didnt received my appliances in July so I couldnt do closing on time due to not having my appliances and get inspection done before I moved to my new home. Which I was like okay due to Covid I understand. Here is the worst part. So the day I closed on my home and start using my appliance. Happen to find out that my Microwave and my dishwasher is not working. Brand new out of box. So I called bosch customer service in July the day after I closed on my new house and explained them the both appliances are not working.I was given a number to call for service repair which I did and they told me 3 weeks wait for them to come out due to COVID which again I was okay no problem. Its COVID. Understandable. They came to my house after 3 weeks and told me that they have to order part for microwave and suggested me to call bosch customer to replace it because it would make more sense since he visited cost $1246 this time and next time would be about same and told me that if he doesnt hear back from bosch he will be back in 3 weeks again. So I called Bosch back and explain the whole thing. I was told they made ticket (wrong ticket where they combined microwave and dishwasher) and the rep told me they send the ticket to management to review and will send the replacement.I called after 2 weeks AGAIN and the rep told me that they didnt proper format from the service company so I make three way call and explain them that bosch need special format for exchange. Service provider send it to bosch and bosch rep was like, Yup got it. Since bosch didnt reach out to me or the company the service guy came and said he have to order another part and will be back 2 weeks again. This visit was again $1246. So I called bosch again and find out whats going on and went through the same thing report format is not acceptable by management company. At this point, we paid $2800 for service and I bought this microwave around $1800.00. Didnt understand why bosch didnt see that because he will back again and will cost another $1200.00 so at this point we paid double than what microwave cost. So I called again a week later is same story. They dont have the proper format from the service provider. So here I am stuck with microwave because I can return it anymore since my purchase month was in May and here I am still waiting for bosch management to review in End Of August. The worst customer service ever. I called them more than 10 times since July to August and stayed on the phone for more than 2 hours going around and around. Every time I called my phone timed was more than 2 hours.

I bought my 800 series Bosch dishwasher a year and a half ago and while there were some bumps because I bought a used one from the Sears Discount Center the representatives were very prompt about repairing and then replacing my defective machine. Now that I have a functioning dishwasher it is not only my very favorite appliance of my house, it is one of my most beloved possessions. There are 10 people in my family and we are able to stack in a huge amount of dishes because the spacing of the racks are so well designed and the additional 3rd rack is able to accommodate all of the silverware. I have never had such clean dishes with so little pre-cleansing before I put the dishes in. There are times that still needs servicing due to the hard water in Arizona but once it is cleaned I am once again left with immaculately clean dishes every time, including my Bosch mixer which I can put in encrusted with dried bread dough and pots and pans. I am very disappointed to hear all of these awful reviews when truly it is the best appliance I have ever owned. All of my friends who have Bosch dishwashers feel the same way I do. There is no reason to buy any other brand. Do not let these bad experiences scare you away from a truly miraculous piece of equipment.

We purchased a Bosch dishwasher 1 year ago. Within a month the door started popping open during the wash cycle. I called Bosch customer service and they set up a repair. They know there is a problem so they have a replacement kit called a latch stiffener. Well everything worked fine for the summer months when we return from our six months in Florida. I use the dishwasher another month and the same things started happening. I called customer service and talk to the same woman that I had spoken to last summer. She is very nice and very helpful and tried her damnedest to get me a replacement dishwasher. The company told her since there had only been one repair they could not replace the dishwasher that I would have to have a second repair done on it. So that is scheduled for next week but I also had her note in my account that this is the second repair on the same dishwasher for the same problem as I am now out of warranty. There are only two of us in the house so the dishwasher does not get run that often. When it does work it cleans the dishes nicely and it is very quiet. I agree the racks are not the greatest and they do fall off the track and you have to look them up to try to get them back on but that I can deal with. Running 8 minutes and having the door pop open is not acceptable.

We bought a Bosch Silence Plus 44 dishwasher less than 6 months ago (July 15) for $875; counting installation, just shy of a grand. Less than 6 months later, most of the dishes are coming out dirty and the pump sounds anemic. I first registered on the Bosch site, then contacted customer service. They did not have any access to their own database, which meant I had to repeat everything all over again. They then sent me to do my own legwork, giving me the name of one contractor 1.5 hours away. The contractor then told me they did not cover my area. Bosch doubted my word and called that contractor when I called to tell them what happened. When the contractor confirmed, they never apologized, but just gave me the names of two other contractors, and told me they could not help me schedule an appointment but I have to do it myself, and they have no way to know how long the wait may be (Those of you who are posting about 1-wk waits apparently ought to be thankful Bosch at least held your hand. As of January 2016 they are not even extending that courtesy). The first contractor I called said there will be a 3-week wait. My husband is German, and used to swear by Bosch. When we lived in Switzerland, we had Bosch appliances that worked like a charm. We inherited an old Bosch washer when we bought our house that still works quite well. Apparently the company has decided to spend down its reputation. As the Germans would say, schade (shame).

Our Bosch dishwasher, model #SHE43P22UC/64, has so far had no issues cleaning but we have had to replace the plastic control panel 3 times and it is broke again. After 2h 45mins on the phone and talking to 10(!) separate people with Wayfair and Bosch trying to get the dishwasher I ordered last Wednesday, that was supposed to arrive on Friday, that I then had to call to find out why it wasnt delivered on Friday, only to be told it was on a truck and could be delivered Sat, but Sat didnt work for us so the next available date was today (Wednesday - 5 days late), only for them to now tell me (after having to call back to find out why I hadnt heard anything about delivery), that there is no dishwasher until at best (!) early November!! I am APPALLED at the customer service from both Wayfair and Bosch in not stepping up to solve THEIR problem. When I called Bosch directly, they told me they couldnt talk to me and that I had to call Wayfair back (yet again). Complete runaround. Ultimately I was told that I should just cancel my order and order something else (like this was my fault!) without any offer to resolve the issue. And finally after 10 people, I still have no real sense if Bosch actually has any dishwashers in stock anywhere. While I wanted a Bosch based on reviews for quality, Im not planning on making ANY future orders. If I could give 0 stars I would. A complete waste of time and effort! STAY AWAY!!

At this point, something went wrong in appointment scheduling process as I was never notified. I called and was told one day that was rescheduled and once again I learned about it only by calling customer service. Its unbelievable that the company is still in business really. Huge mess. Better to go with another manufacturer.

I bought a Bosch SHE3AR7UC Ascenta dishwasher about 6 months ago after my previous low end unit got too noisy after 9 years of service to me and more to the previous homeowner). Given the price and ratings, I expected a trouble free appliance. Yes, it is quiet. But it arrived with internal damage and when I called them, they said they could replace the bent up tray. I said I was uncomfortable with that, as I didnt know what other damage may have been caused. I was not given a choice so accepted their offer. Months later, it has failed about 6 times, and is now unusable. Error 15, 24, and sometimes wont reset or power off. The repairman comes in a few days, meanwhile I am handwashing dishes after spending 800 bucks! And they wont replace it, despite having shipped me a damaged unit. Customer service on the phone is also poor, unless you get past the front line folks. I will never buy Bosch again.

New home purchase with Bosch dishwasher and I have always heard good things about them....Wrong! The rack does not connect to the door and falls out all the time...breaking dishes! I cant believe Bosch would allow this, as it is a major problem! I get angry every time I load and unload the darn thing and would never purchase another no matter how well it would clean! It does a decent job cleaning but if the dishes break, whats the point?

If you want a company that honorably stands behind its products, and has caring customer service, then DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT!!!! purchase a Bosch product. Dishwasher malfunctioning and you are just out of warranty? They dont care. Paid $1500? Oh well... too bad. I purchased a $1500 Bosch dishwasher. 3 repairs to the malfunctioning salt indicator in first 22 months of ownership. Bosch would do NOTHING for us. BTW, paying more for a dishwasher does not in itself shield you from malfunctions. Moreover, our old $500 Maytag worked flawlessly for 12 years. BOSCH = Bad Overall Service Customers Have.

We purchased a Bosch dishwasher after research for top brands. To make a long story short, just after 3 months, we had problems with the bottom rack staying on the track. All the wheels eventually came off one by one, we put them back on but they still kept falling off. So we bought new wheels, still, the rack never glided or stayed on its tracks. We now have to lift the full bottom rack and place it inside the washer. The wand (attachment for water) comes off during the cycle EVERY time no matter if anything scrapes or touches it during the cycles. The third rack (silverware) rarely cleans anything unless they’ve been hand cleaned before going in. Never ever have I spent so much money on an appliance to have it fall apart and dysfunction after 3 months. Customer service was so unwilling to handle the first wheel issues, that attempting a refund was daunting. I’m not sure if Bosch cares if the appliance works at all, or if maybe they just sell “pretty” appliances to people who don’t cook.

I have been using Bosch Dishwashers since 1986. I purchased my first Bosch Dishwasher while living in Rauenberg Germany. Had no problem with the machine. On my return to Canada in 1993 I kept the machine, had to have a 220 line installed in house to use machine. In 2013 decided to buy another Bosch machine. I quickly found out there is a difference in quality of machines made in Germany than the ones in North America. I have had nothing but problems with my new Bosch Model SHE3ARF2UC/08 SilencePlus 50 dBA. Every month once or twice a month the machine would not drain. Saying blockage of drain. Dishes are washed off prior to been placed in machine. Problem still persisting. This is a regular problem with this machine. Time to look for another brand. Had enough of this problem. Costly.

My father purchased a Bosch tankless water heater about 18 months ago. He had a professional plumber install the tank to the specifications that the factory mandates. The unit never did work properly. After hours on the phone with tech support listening to every reason in the book why it wasn't "their" fault , and hundreds if not thousands of dollars spent on a plumber they still will not honor their warranty and replace the unit. The problem with the unit is that whenever you turn on the cold water to make the water warm instead of scalding, the heater shuts off completely leaving you with ice cold water. The factory techs tell us that there is not enough water coming into the unit. Ok easy fix right "just tell us how much water is required". O wait the "tech" isn't allowed to suggest anything like that. My father is so frustrated he wants to take the unit outside and shoot it with a rifle. If there is a class action we want in!!!!!! Purchased this Bosch dishwasher on 2/15/2013 from Sears with an extended warranty and with several service calls we are still having issues with it. The digital operating panel is not working. It will not shut off the dishwasher. Today I finally manually turned the dishwasher off... it had been operating for over 4 hours. Can you imagine my electric bill with a faulty Bosch dishwasher. We had ordered three appliances from Bosch all of which were the black stainless 800 series (the gas range, refrigerator & dishwasher). Both the refrigerator and the range came had a problem. The refrigerator has such a heavy lean on our level floors that even the adjustable legs couldn’t extend down 2” to make it level. We had called Bosch and as requested had a third party arranged by Bosch to inspect, which concluded that it needed to be replaced. We then waited 2 months for customer service to produce a code for reordering, during this time we did not have a fridge. We spoke to numerous customer service reps. At which point had an urgent request of the manager(who was the one responsible to place the reorder code on the product) but the manager could not return this request until 2 months later. The customer service reps. Would tell you one thing then another completely opposite until I had recorded it so that the rep could listen to what was said. Once the new item arrived, upon delivery they noticed that the doors were all finished in different finishes. The bottom freezer door was a different finish then the upper doors and the handles were different from the upper and lower doors.(Quality inspection?) So naturally they needed to replace all the doors off of the unit. These two refrigerator somehow passed quality inspection?!? And it was not just that item, our range had arrived with a bronze coloured vent piece that completely didn’t match their black stainless steel and the rep. Had agreed that they don’t know why it was like that...When I told them of this and they asked for the item info on the inside of the unit (with the rep on the phone) I opened the oven door to find a large 8” piece of bent metal with insulation exposed in the interior of our “quality inspected” range! The third party had to write an inspection report on this too even though it was clear as day that this was a safety issue/ and that this item clearly was not inspected. This item as well took 2 months for replacement., it too fell on the shoulders of customer service manager who could not produce a reorder code until 2 months later. And we did not have our range or refrigerator at this time seeing as their customer service team reassured me on 4 separate times that it would be 5-7 days for processing.I would never wish upon anyone to have to go through what we did with Bosch. Months and months of phone calls, and no appliances for months, and how we have been treated. We thought we were buying quality products with a company that could offer customer service. This was not the case. Please do yourself a favour and buy from a company that you can trust. BOSCH is not that company. And No Bosch has not figured out why they have a bronze vent piece on their black stainless steel range and the replacement range arrived with the same bronze vent piece. But at least the insulation was not visible this time. Buy quality inspected appliance from anyone but Bosch!

I have a stainless Bosch model SHX43R55uc/64 and it STINKS like no other even cheap dishwasher I have ever owned in my entire life!! I am looking to replace it due to the SMELL, it cleans the dishes well but the smell in the unit after the wash is enough to choke a sanitary worker. It smells like dead animals. I take a turkey baster and remove about 4 full basters full of water out of the bottom below the filter that if left there gets putrid, then put some bleach in it but fear that my dishes are being washed with bleach. I had a repair man out and he said, Nothing you can do about it thats the way it was designed!

We purchased a new dishwasher two months ago. The handle cracked in all three spots where the handle is screwed in. I called Bosch and within four days the repair tech showed up with a whole new door front. I thought it would just be an easy unscrew the handle and screw a new one in. He replaced the door front and pushed start and the dishwasher no longer works. He thinks he ruined the circuit board. He said he would replace the circuit board but he wasnt even sure if that was the issue. The part never arrived and I contacted Bosch. They said they would exchange the dishwasher for a new one, but I am still waiting. It has been 6 weeks and I have not had a working dishwasher in my home. Thanksgiving weekend was last weekend and I had a house full of company for the entire weekend and no dishwasher. Two months old and here I am with no dishwasher. I purchased Bosch because I thought they were supposed to be the best, but this has just become ridiculous.

I do like my new dishwasher - cleans great and is quiet but there is a smell. This is not food related, or deposit related since it is only 2 weeks old. It is obviously from the plastic molds used for the racks. I am unsure if this is a deal breaker yet and send it back. I have no alternative one to get. This one has everything I want except this smell is bad. You would think Bosch would fix this long ago, sadly not.

I live alone and wanted a small capacity washer and dryer, although I bought a set the washer has a larger capacity than the dryer, so there was a learning curve. But they are the perfect size for me. The cycles on the dryer will not dry my clothes, but there is a timed dry option, which works just fine. You just have to be careful with overloading. This is not an issue for me, but it may be for others. The washer is close to perfect.

800 Series dishwasher is great when it comes to cleaning. Issue is with the bottom rack. The tapered wheels dont stay on the tracks. Particularly when fully loaded the bottom rack wont stay in the track and falls into the tub. We just had Abt Appliance out since the dishwasher is only a month old. Tech said that this is a common complaint and Bosch has not done anything to address it. Very frustrating since it forces you to have to only partially load the lower rack. Will contact Bosch directly and see what they say. If there is no fix we will be replacing with a KitchenAid!

Purchased a new Bosch French door refrigerator. Two weeks later the ice maker stopped working. Called for service. Noticed the vegetable and deli drawers had frozen everything solid. Noticed all the food in the rear of the device was partly frozen. Rep came out and announced the ice maker was defective, needed to be replaced. Ordered new one. He also explained that the ice maker regulates the temp for the refrigerator. Replaced the ice maker. The ice maker constantly drips all over the refrigerator. The water and ice dispensers do not work well. Ice either comes out at a breakneck speed or not at all. Water sprays out all over the place. Very poor engineering.I still have occasional freezing in the veg drawers. Spoke to the Bosh consumer agent, she was arrogant, rude and generally unhelpful. Suggested to me I not put vegetables in the veg drawers, as they tend to freeze! I asked her if she was planning to send another device out for purpose of cooling the verges. She became even nastier. My opinion, run in another direction if you see Bosch while shopping for appliances. Also, my daughter apparently bought a Bosch side by side and hates it. Rues the day. Wish I had spoken to her first.

Purchased a dishwasher and oven in 2007. The DW was rated #1 and environmentally friendly... Its not ... It requires expensive rinse agents and it doesnt clean the dishes. The heating elemental either never worked or broke just outside of the 1-year-warranty. We had purchased the extended warranty so at least they fixed it.... But it still cost that added $150 bucks. The convection oven was also $1000 and doesnt cook several trays of cookies perfectly as advertised...not worth the money. Two years ago the main computer module fell off the back... The glue dried out that held it in place. Thankfully we jerry-rigged it back. Now the oven door wont close properly, so the oven turns itself off. We called for service and they said the part is $240 plus $150 for labor. I called customer service to see if they could help out... Nope... They blame me... I must have set something too heavy on the door.

Bought a Bosch SMV46G00G dishwasher, thinking Bosch would be good. My previous cheaper SMEG dishwasher, could be switched to ECO setting and left to run its long cycle whilst I went off to bed. Result? Clean dry dishes in the morning. So I did the same with my expensive Bosch washer. Result? Soaking wet dishes and machine in the morning. Ah! but it saves you energy costs, say Bosch. Thats no good to me if it doesnt do the job, is it? I could take it all down to the local stream and save even more energy and money. I expected a machine that was capable of switch and forget. Instead I have to wait until its finished before I can open the door and let it dry overnight. Poor, stupid design. Why not have a mechanism to open the door automatically after a drying time? Too difficult? I think not, it was standard design on USA machines. Recommendation? Dont buy.

I purchased 3 Bosch appliances less than six years ago - 2 ovens and a 5-burner cooktop. When deciding on the purchase, my appliance dealer assured me that Bosch produces high end appliances. We went ahead with the purchase and paid high end prices too. Now, less than six years after we bought them, all 3 appliances are malfunctioning. Its so strange - almost like they have a pre-ordained life span from the manufacturer, because they all broke within the same 4 - 6 weeks. We have been trying to get them repaired through Bosch service for over a month and they are dragging their feet and giving us a horrible runaround. What a shame! I dont think I shall ever purchase another Bosch appliance nor recommend them to any of my friends or relatives. The customer service reps are lying to us, changing their minds, changing their strategies, not calling back, making offers then going back on their word... Its all horrible. I purchased the Bosch Axxis stackable washer and dryer in late 2008 to fit in my kitchen closet. June 2014, started to have problems with it making noises while spinning and then it got louder and finally stopped spinning. I contacted Bosch Customer Service who referred me to service repair but did not offer me a good explanation or offer to refund anything for the unit to be broken after approximately 6 years of use and I am the only person using it.The stackable unit cost me over $2,000 and now the washer needs to be replaced because the repair costs are over $900.00. This is disgraceful! Now, I have to figure out how to find a new 24-inch washer that will fit my Bosch dryer on top because I will never buy another Bosch anything! It is a piece of garbage.

My Bosch combination microwave/convection oven just stopped working for the 5th time in 5 years, and my extended warranty just expired 5 days ago. I would NEVER recommend this appliance. I thought Bosch was a great brand name, but its been my experience that their ovens are inferior. The control panels went black each time and had to be replaced. We purchased a Bosch dishwasher for $749 a little over four years ago. We also purchased the five-year extended warranty. To date we have changed the door which was rusting, circulation pump assembly, the control panel, and have been told that the original pump is bad now. HOWEVER, they wont pay for it because they say we have spent more for repairs than the dishwasher costs so they wont repair anymore -- yet we are still in our five-year warranty period. AND we finally, after going through the maintenance company for months and dealing directly with Bosch, got the pump sent to us. This is still not the problem! Not many more parts on this dishwasher but I would never buy another Bosch appliance. The Warranty Company sent one company to fix it for the original pump, another for the computer control panel, and a third, sent by Bosch, to check it out and none had the same diagnosis. AND IT STILL DOESNT WORK!

I had a Bosch refrigerator for many years and was very happy. I recently had to renew the fridge and opted to buy Bosch again, however I am very disappointed in the new design. Shelves are not the right distance apart (not allowing the stacking of such things as 2 yogurt pots) thus wasting lots of space, putting a huge draw in place of a door shelf, door shelves with a cover, the freezer is much smaller than the previous even though the external dimensions are the same. The new fridge makes lots of squeaking noises. Your designers are IDIOTS. I will be looking at another manufacturer when I change this fridge.
