I dont recommend the Bosch stackable dryer. Drying sheets is a pain since the dryer rolls them up in a ball; if you dont shake them out every few minutes, the inside stays damp. The sensor doesnt work, so you have to keep adding time to the dryer. And things take much longer to dry than they should. The dryer I have is new; I was very happy with my 15-year-old dryer and thought a new one would be an upgrade. I was very badly mistaken.

I have a housekeeper whom is used to a simple oven. If she touch the wrong button the clock goes off. I can spend one hour trying to fix it. However, it doesnt adjust itself. Unfortunately the oven does not work unless the clock is set. The service man has been here twice already and will not come again for less than 100.00. I have been cooking for 56 years and have never had a problem with an oven not working because the clock isnt set. Buyer beware. This oven is way too complicated. As of now I am waiting for a new service man. Incidentally, the instructions stink as are their videos. I bought six bosch appliances and am even so sorry.

Bought Bosch Range 3 years ago. With 55 years of cooking this is the worst stove I have ever had. Nothing works the way it should. Turn a back burner on and the front burner also gets warm. The largest burner gets too hot. The oven is worse. Cant cook anything on the bottom shelf, it burns everything on the bottom. Can only use the middle shelf but not over 350. I will never buy anything that has the Bosch name on it... Does not even desire one star.

Our new top of the line Bosch fridge loses its programing after a power outage. We lost all our food in the fridge because we were away. After contacting Bosch we were assured this is the way the fridge is made and that this is what to expect when you purchase a Bosch fridge! This means we cannot leave for holidays, weekend getaways, etc. for fear of a power outage and coming home to a fridge/freezer full of rotten food.

Advice for anyone looking for appliances: DO NOT BUY FROM BOSCH.. We got a microwave from them because it was supposed to be the best of the best. About 16 months after purchasing, the microwave needed fixing so we did it the way Bosch said we had to do it for the parts to be covered. This happened 3 times in a matter of 3 years. The third time, it was deemed unrepairable. After a month of going back and forth with them, not having a microwave, the best offer they could give me was that I had to pay $300 for a replacement microwave. Mind you, it was a $1200 microwave to begin with. So with the original cost upfront, the service costs and what they now want me to pay for a replacement microwave, I’m looking at roughly $2100 dollars on this microwave. And they claim this to be a “more than fair” offer. The customer service will throw you around from one guarded person to the next. They’ll forward you to their “manager” and when you ask for their name and title after finishing a conversation with them, you’ll find out that it’s not the manager and they’ll REFUSE to give you their last name or an email or anything to contact them. Then, when you’ve had enough and you name all the people you’ve spoken with and that you want to speak to the actual manager, they put you on a lengthy hold that conveniently dies on several occasions. https://www.facebook.com/BoschAppliances/

Our four year old dishwasher was issued a recall as some of the plugs were catching on fire. I did as instructed on the recall notice and an authorized repairman came to the house. He said he couldnt get the dishwasher out without damaging our floors and left. I let Bosch know and they suggested that we get a quote to have the granite countertops removed, so that the repairman could get in. I asked for another dealer but they didnt want another repairman. I called our contractor to remove the dishwasher and the repairman came back to change the plug but refused to put back the dishwasher. The contractor came back to re-install the dishwasher and the dishwasher top rack and sprayer were now broken. Bosch got the fire hazard fixed so they are off the hook for that, but I am left with a broken dishwasher and their so called customer service wont respond. Now, I am forced to replace the dishwasher when I as the customer have done nothing wrong. Bosch cares about avoiding a lawsuit, but could give a whit about the customers experience. The company sure does not have the customers back. This whole process has taken weeks and I am completely frustrated.

Washes dishes but often leaves residue. Doesnt dry the plastics. Honestly, I use the main wash; pots and pans is too hot most of the time, and the quick wash doesnt really clean them all. I dont like the arrangement of the racks. Bowls dont fit well on either level, I could help Bosch find a much better way so loading is easier. Its comparable to others in the same price range. Ours decided to fall apart after 6 years. The actual computer panel just fell off. We can use it without the panel, but it is really broken. Wont buy another Bosch.

Worst customer service! I had an appointment yesterday for my washer and the technician was supposed to call me the night before or morning of the appointment to give me a two hour window. My appointment was in the window of 8-12. I have taken a half day off to be there. No one called. I then called customer service at Bosch and was on hold for 25 minutes just to get disconnected. I called again and was on hold for another 25 minutes. The representative said the technician had an emergency. She put me on with her supervisor who said she was sorry and scheduled me for the next day for a window of 8-5. She said Bosch should have notified me and stated she understood my frustration and admitted over and over that this was their fault. She then states the technician would call me with a two hour window that night or the next morning. She promised I would get a call this time.Next morning arrives, yes I had to take the day off, and technician did not call the night before or morning of. I called customer service and was on hold for 30 minutes. She calls the technician, on hold for another 15 minutes, to give me the two hour window from 12-2 pm. I waiting and waiting... I then get a call close to 1:30 that he showed up and left because my building wanted to see his ID and he refused to give it to them. Ok, I get that, but why did he leave without calling me directly. Why have a call center call me?I told the call center I can let him up if he had called me directly. She said no he is not coming and wont come back. She gives me another company she has looked into that can come and fix my washing machine. I called them and they say they do not service Chicago and they are 2 1/2 hours away and they get calls from Bosch all the time and they tell them over and over that they do not service Chicago. I go down to my building to ask why they didnt call me and both the front desk and security said no one from Bosch has been there. The desk always calls if there is an issue. They cannot lie!I call customer service again on hold for 25 minutes and got disconnected. Called again and on hold for 25 minutes and finally someone gets on the phone. She says she is calling the technician right then. Im on hold for 15 minutes and then I get disconnected. I call again and on hold for 25 minutes and the rep says he has to put me on hold... on hold for another 20 minutes for him to say the technician didnt want to show his ID, so left. All this has been explained and in the notes... I said I want to speak with a supervisor, because the day prior the supervisor was very apologetic. Supervisor Ray gets on the phone. He says there is nothing he can do. Only reschedule me for November 10th-- two weeks from today or give me a third party number, which didnt work before. He was very rude and would not help in any way. He did care about all I went through and how I already took 1 1/2 days off from work.Again, the technician lied about coming, but Ray did not care. Why didnt he have someone else service my machine or yet, make him come back? He refused to do anything about. He never apologized until I said you are not even sorry. He tone of voice was awful. I asked to speak with his manager and he said there was no one above him. Hard to believe... I cannot believe how unprofessional he was. It was truly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Ray the supervisor and the technician should not be employed by Bosch.

We bought a new townhome in with new Bosch appliances in Nov 2013. Someone said the appliances were high end. For the past 6 months the microwave has tripped the circuit breaker upon opening the door. So much for high end. We called an appliance company who charged $129 just for driving to our house. After nearly two hours, and speaking to a Bosch technician, the appliance tech said we need a new board for a total of $315, parts and labor! WHY DID IT BREAK DOWN AFTER ONLY TWO YEARS?!! I could have bought a cheaper Walmart microwave that would still be working right now. Bosch needs to make better appliances or extend their crappy one-year warranty! No wonder the warranty is only good for one year and doesnt cover circuit boards!

However I feel that they have either lowered their quality to make more money or are trying to reach a different type of consumer either way it equals some disappointing details on many of their products. I do find that the stove is very nice and solid and seems to work well so far. Just need to see their products in person. Sometimes when you think its metal its actually plastic.

We purchased our Bosch Dual Fuel Range about 8 years ago. We had problems with the gas igniters that was not fixed properly by the authorized service. I eventually fixed it. Recently, the stove started burning the food. The service identified the problem as a failed relay board. Bosch shipped the wrong part, so we had to wait about a month for the correct shipment and repair. On a supposedly high quality item there should not be failures like this. If there are, they should not cost an arm and a leg. The most recent repair costing close to $500.

I bought this dishwasher based on customer reviews. I like the washing performance of this dishwasher, and the lighted controls…especially that it tells me how many minutes are left on the chosen cycle and when it is finished. It is also very quiet. There is one thing that frustrates me and that is the design of the lower rack. The tines are placed so that it can accommodate 12 place settings (according to the instruction manual). Few, if any, people have need for this on a daily basis. What is needed for families is capacity for place settings combined with serving bowls, mixing bowls, and cooking utensils. However, the tines are positioned so that this is very difficult and requires running the dishwasher more frequently or doing more hand washing. (My previous dishwasher was much more accommodating of a variety of dishes and pans.)I wrote a letter to the manufacturer with my concerns and asked if there is an alternative bottom rack. I got a callback but was unavailable. The message was that they would call back. Never happened. I called the number in the instruction book twice, each time the representative said she would have another person call me back...never happened. I thought Bosch was a top of the line brand and expected better service than this. At this point I would never recommend this brand to anyone. Model SHEM63W56N/13.

Our 15 year olds Bosch dishwasher with a custom cabinet to match our cupboards is the best dishwasher we ever had. The adjustable upper rack can hold a 9 and 1/2 in tall wine glass and with adjustable rack tines makes loading the dishwasher a delight. Just recently we had to have the circuit board panel rebuilt since replacement is obsolete but its worth every penny. When this dishwasher goes I will definitely buy another Bosch dishwasher now with a third rack available.

Something terribly dysfunctional about Bosch and how they treat customers. After receiving several marketing letters pushing that I purchase a service plan because my warranty had expired, I agreed and sent a check. When my dishwasher broke I contacted Bosch and filed a maintenance request. After 10 days of silence from Bosch, I called and was told that my request would not be honored because I was still under warranty. I then contacted the service department and was told to send a copy of my purchase receipt, which I did. After another 10 days of silence, I again contacted Bosch and was told that the person handling my case had been in “training” and I should send a picture of my defective part... which I did. Again total silence from Bosch!Does anyone work at Bosch? The only efficient thing they do is cash my check. Why would they send marketing material imploring that I purchase a service plan when I’m still under warranty? The material specifically warns that my warranty had expired. Then when I ask for servicing they ignore my request then decline to honor their contract. I’ll never buy Bosch again.

Last year, I bought a Bosch dishwasher for near $1000. That was really a smart dishwasher and consented me for operation. I found that some micro and macro cracks have appeared in the top front plate of the set. As I am a specialist and a lecturer in the university, I found that these cracks are a result of humidity and low quality of the top plate of the set. Three years ago, I purchased a stackable washer and dryer for my condominium. Since I had limited space for these products, I chose Bosch. Now, the dryer stopped working so I call a repair service. $450.00 later, the unit still does not work. I called directly to Bosch to see what they could do about my problem. They sent a tech to review the problem and he diagnosed it as a failed control module. Bosch wanted me to pay for the service and the part which would have been another $300.00 or so. To total this cost so far ($750) if I replaced the part is not a good idea because I could get a new dryer for about $800.00. I feel that Bosch product is inferior and service is zero. As a small business owner, I think this is disgraceful. I stand behind my products and service and incur extra service costs when I have to. Even though it sometimes erases my profit on the job, I always take care of my customers. This is a big company and can well afford to take care of their customers in a proper manner.

I purchased this washer to replace a failing stacked washer/dryer combo. I bought the Bosch set because the dryer is ventless and this just fits my townhouse better. First off, this washer is designed to plug into the back of the matching dryer (Only one 240V outlet is needed!) So far so good with this washer's results. It is very quiet and efficient. The matching dryer, while ventless still dries VERY well. I am surprised as Bosch's claim of only 8% slower than a vented dryer seems to be very accurate. This washer is designed to fit 10-14lbs of laundry per load and I can attest this is accurate and is efficient while washing and drying. The dryer will take some getting used to and messing around with the proper settings but once you figure it out it's a cinch! This is an absolutely GREAT product.

Received a Bosch dishwasher which was installed by a Richards contractor. The machine worked well for 3 months then suddenly died. We had purchased a long term service contract with Richards and were directed to their service vendor (Danmark). It took approximately 2 weeks for a serviceman to come out. Of course, they had to order 2 parts. It took an additional 2 weeks for the serviceman to return. He installed the parts and the washer was still was inoperative. He instructed us to request a new machine which we did. We were contacted by Danmark and were told Bosch requested that another part (the main circuit board which was replaced already) be re-replaced before they agreed to replace the machine. We agreed and the serviceman returned 2 weeks later and replaced the board again. Guess what, the machine still didnt work. Now frustrated, I called the store where the machine was purchased and explained the situation to a store manager. He did, in all fairness, relay my problem to Richards service department because in one hours time, I received another call from Richards. Once again I had to retell my story to this person who assured me I would hear from her the following day. Four days later, theres still no return call from Richards service department. I returned a call to the store manager, retold my story and went out of my way to thank him for effects of relaying my problem to Richards service. I asked for Richards service phone at which time this manager got annoyed (clearly in his voice) and promptly gave me a wrong number. Thank you P.C. Richards, guess youve lost another customer. $1375 may not seem a lot to you, but its a lot of money to me. Im considering a small claims suit against Richards and Bosch and will explore that option.

After almost 3 months I still dont have both machines fully functioning. This is incredibly inconvenient since I have a young child and have to do laundry frequently. Bosch has given my husband and I the run around repeatedly. Their customer support is terrible. Weve lost 4 vacation days staying home for repair men and at least 20 hrs of calls and being on hold. DON’T BUY A BOSCH. PLEASE SHARE!! I’d give a minus 5 stars if possible!! Purchased a Bosch dishwasher December 11, 2015 from LOWES for our Florida condo. This condo is used FIVE (5) months out of the YEAR. So this dishwasher has been used 15 months! Lifetime tub warranty. Bad quality rubber seal. You can see by the photos it’s disintegrating. After calling, getting bounced around then waiting 24-48 hours for a return call...they send out their technician. He lies and says he never saw this before. We tell him we found out that our neighbor next-door at the condo had the same model and the exact same thing happened! Coincidental? I think not. Then he said, “Yes it’s bad batch of rubber and the dishwasher will leak. It’s not fixable.” Call again. The one department they transfer us to then another, we have to wait 24 to 48 hours for each return call, never give us direct numbers. We have to wait for them to return our calls. Then we have to fill out paperwork. They want to prorate the dishwasher. Make us pay almost $300 again for the proration, delivery fee and tax. Purchasing delivery installation we paid over $700 for this piece of crap. Filled out all the necessary paperwork. Never hear anything. Call, tell us they got it and reviewing now. Wait over a week. And NOW they say they never received the paperwork we filled out. Resend. We need to wait another 48 hours. From the beginning they knew the absolute last date we could have this dishwasher delivered. They had it in their notes. Well it’s too late now. We’re not going to be here any longer to have a delivery of the dishwasher. I will go buy a GE in the Fall and have it installed. I will never buy a Bosch again. I will do everything I can to let everyone know the lack of integrity and honesty this company possesses. Please share our story so another sucker doesn’t get taken. Bosch knew they had a bad failed batch of rubber seal gaskets out there. And yet they left their dishwashers in the vendor’s warehouse, no recall, to continue to push failed equipment on consumers to continue purchasing their subpar product. I’d like to shove this dishwasher right up their you know what. #boschisjunk #dontbuybosch #boschunethetical

This dishwasher does a very good job at getting all of my dishes clean. Even those that have dried food stuck to them. It does everything I need it to do. Although, this dishwasher does not have heated dry option. I am fine with this, as the heat from the wash gets most everything dry. It has basic regular, light, heavy duty settings. Thats all I need! It is a traditional/regular size dishwasher. The interior holds everything I need to wash, although the set up of the tines have taken a bit getting used to. I feel if they were orientated differently I might be able to load easier. Its a nice stainless steel washer! When researching this dishwasher, only negative thing I could find was issues with the door latch. Knowing this, I exercise extra caution in opening and closing. It does open stiffly.

I live alone and wanted a small capacity washer and dryer, although I bought a set the washer has a larger capacity than the dryer, so there was a learning curve. But they are the perfect size for me. The cycles on the dryer will not dry my clothes, but there is a timed dry option, which works just fine. You just have to be careful with overloading. This is not an issue for me, but it may be for others. The washer is close to perfect.

Our Bosch dishwasher, model #SHE43P22UC/64, has so far had no issues cleaning but we have had to replace the plastic control panel 3 times and it is broke again. Apparently, opening the dishwasher is too much for it to handle and it continually cracks and pulls off of the dishwasher. Have had to tape it together for right now because the cost of repairing it again is just too costly for the labor and service call. Will never buy a Bosch again. They arent worth the extreme expense and they dont stand by their products nor do they respond to complaints.

Dishwasher control panel markings have all worn off after two years. So you no longer can see power buttons or different cycles. Filed a claim with Bosch like many other consumers have done. Bosch says that they will not cover it and claims it is cosmetic issue not a operating issue. It is an operating issue since you have to take out the manual to know which area to push to run the dishwasher since all of the print has worn off the control panel. I have noticed a lot of other consumers have had the same issue.

We purchased in 2013 a top-of-the-line Bosch dishwasher and it is worked well until about two weeks ago, when it just died. My complaint is not the unit but with the complete lack of service that Bosch offers. The unit broke and we called for service and were told at the earliest date they can give us was some 13 days in the future. However that was not to fix the unit only to diagnose the problem. Fixing the unit would take ordering the part and then coming back to reinstall it. We circumvented this problem by calling Sears who diagnosed the problem over the phone ordered the part and was able to schedule us two days before the Bosch service team with would be coming out.As I was outraged at how long this is going to take I called Bosch to complain and they basically told me that they simply do not have enough service people in the area to take care of the products that they sell. I told customer service that this was completely unacceptable and that I would write this review. Avoid Bosch products at all costs. There are others that offer much better service.Updated on 2/14/2015:13 months into owning the unit the control panel went out. We called Bosch to fix it, they told us three weeks hence a repairman would arrive to repair the unit. Instead of waiting we called Sears with whom we have an extended warranty program to cover the unit and they came out 2 1/2 weeks after we called. During the call to analyze the problem and told us they were sending us a new control unit. The day before the visit we realized that no unit had arrived at our house so we called Sears. They told us that the request for the item was denied and they would come out and analyze the problem and order the correct parts. The repair man told us that this is ridiculous, the part shouldve been ordered and waiting for him to install it. He then analyzed the problem, decided that that was exactly the correct part and ordered it and he would be there to put it in a couple of days after it arrived. Upon returning to install the part, Bosch had only sent the cover with none of the control unit inside. The second order was placed this time for the control unit, whose arrival we are still waiting for, now 3 months since the unit broke. The moral of the story is do not buy a Bosch dishwasher unless you can afford two of them, one to keep on reserve while the first one is being fixed.

We moved into a new house with new bosch appliances: fridge, stovetop, speed oven and oven. After only TWO years of use, the speed oven digital display is dimming and will need to be replaced with a part for $150, plus labor. When I contacted Bosch, they would not replace the part. The words on the stovetop are already peeling off (Front, Back, etc.) and the buttons on the icemaker are finicky and need to be caressed to work. The dishwasher doesnt clean any better than our old appliances, the stovetop takes forever to boil and the stainless steel finishes are so hard to get clean. I cant make applesauce on the stovetop because the lowest possible setting is too high and burns it (this may be a reflection on using gas instead of electric, weve never had gas before.) I will never intentionally buy Bosch appliances ever again! Our old cheaper appliances were much more reliable. Not worth the cost!

Was told by salesperson at Lowes in Longview that the Bosch Dishwasher #SHe53tf2ud02 FD9503003422 was the best to buy. Was purchased for $796.41 in May 4th. 2015 at Lowes in Longview. From the start we could not dry dishes in the machine. Asked for service man to look at it to see why it would not dry dishes. We were told by service rep. that it was not designed to dry dishes. Went back to sales department at Lowes and were told that it was too bad but we purchased a dishwasher that didnt dry dishes. No recourse what so ever. So, since owning it our dishes are now etched and the washer stinks up the kitchen and make it smell like a moldy swamp. We are removing the crappy dishwasher and replacing it with a 219.00 Frigidaire like the one we took out. Dont buy Bosch from Lowes or anywhere else.

We purchased a new Bosch built-in dishwasher in December to replace our 13 year old GE profile dishwasher. The GE worked great but the gaskets needed replacing $120. Each. So I decided to buy a new Bosch, what a mistake. I called Home Depot and they said they would have taken it back however I would have to pay my plumber to take it out, return it to store and pay him to re-install it. Well, that didnt happen... When I then called Bosch and complained about new Bosch dishwasher that (Didnt clean dishes or silverware) and (smelled awful) the young lady said my plumber must not have installed a trap (wrong). And never addressed the dirty dishes in and dirty dishes out!!!! When remodeling my kitchen my sister in law told me not to buy a Bosch dish
When remodeling my kitchen my sister in law told me not to buy a Bosch dishwasher. She dislikes hers. We were buying all other Bosch appliances so we risked it. The dishwasher came unusable. The drum that houses the dishwasher and holds the water in was pierced in manufacture. It took us one month and many phone calls to get a Bosch technician out to tell us it was not repairable and authorize replacement. It then took Bosch 8 weeks to find a new replacement dishwasher and someone to install it. We live in Philadelphia, you could trip over plumbers in our neighborhood. Now it is less than a year since we have the brand new replacement and it no longer works. Waited 2 weeks to get a technician out to tell us that the pump, mother board and one other part have gone bad. Problem is they are not in stock so now we are one month into no working dishwasher (again) and still waiting for repair. Each call to Bosch is at least a 20 minute wait on hold (apparently they have a slew of problems to deal with) and it takes at least 3 phone calls to get anyone out to your house. Just dont do it. Save yourself the hassle.

Our Bosch fridge/freezer is less than four years old, yet the handles both top and bottom developed cracks and then sheared off. Bosch was not interested as they said out of guarantee. Their resolution was to purchase replacements. I thought that one should expect a decent amount of time using an appliance before it broke like a cheap toy. Bosch appliances are not cheap to buy. I have never had this happen before as we keep our white goods for a very long time and they wear out mechanically. One expects an item to be fit for use and this does not come under that category. The people I spoke to said a manager would phone me back within 3 hours. That was two weeks ago and I have heard nothing from them. If they care so little for their customers, I would suggest not buying a Bosch item.

Long story short, I bought a 500 series Bosch and after 2 months it started malfunctioning. I must say Bosch Customer Services did try to fix it by replacing two computers and a pump, but it still malfunctioned. They finally replaced it after numerous calls, service calls and emails. I bought a different brand. Bosch did call me back unprompted by a call from me to see how things were going and even after it was replaced, I got a call from one of the managers about problems with a dealer refund. I found them to at least care about their customer to go out of the way to assist me. As for the product and I have had Boschs before, it was a lemon. Previous bosch dishwashers were great and my niece even has the same one I had but hers worked beautifully. After an 8 month ordeal, I dont think I would buy one again, but its only because I dont want to ever experience this amount of hassle again over anything.

Purchased 2 dishwashers from Sears. One went to daughter. Hers broke down in first month of having it. Customer service gave us two repair companies to call. Repairman came out and had to call Bosch to have them walk through what to do in finding out what is wrong. Finally after a couple of calls, parts had to be ordered. I called customer service when I found out part was on backorder for 2 or more weeks. They explained part had just come in that day but would not go out to repair service for at least 10 days or so. I explained that she had the machine for about a month and now it is going to be out of service for that long. Customer service said they would expedite it. They would call and let us know it was on way. I had to call again because now a second or third part I didnt know about is on backorder. Has been 2 weeks and no one has let us know how things are going. Will not buy Bosch again. Customer service is pitiful. I worry my machine will break down now. Thought Bosch was a good company. I talked to so many customer service people and they didnt know what was going on. Talked to a manager and she was condescending and no help. No thanks, Bosch is worthless.

It performed much better when new. Now we have to pre-wash everything because the dishwasher no longer removes dried-on food and sticky residue. I keep the filters clean but it is just not washing as well as it used to. Could be that hard water and non-phosphate detergents is partially to blame. Very quiet compared to others. It has rinse and hold, pots and pans, and other useful cycles. Configurable rack partitions and top shelf fold-out utensil holder offer lots of loading options. Like most average dishwashers this one does not have enough top rack clearance for tall glasses. Looks sharp with no outwardly visible controls. Stainless steel front is nice but difficult to keep clean. Pro: Still running after 10 years of daily use. Tub and racks still in perfect condition. Con: Rinse aid dispenser door no longer stays closed. Detergent door stopped latching after a couple years... fix required disassembly and cleaning. Ability to clean dirty dishes has degraded over the years.

I have been dealing with a non-working tankless water heater for about a week, and Bosch customer service keeps telling me from pictures I sent that the install is incorrect. I have had many technicians come into my home and verify the setup and that Bosch, a reputable company, should accommodate us. Its been under 5 years since we have used these units and with not having hot water for almost a week and the countless phone calls to Bosch and emails with pictures, I am resorting to going to the Better Business Bureau. We had the town of Clifton verify everything before they issued us a Certificate of Occupancy. This CO would not be issued if a potential threat was posed due to incorrect installation. We also called Clifton City Hall, who said install was done according to city code. Of two, only one tankless water heater works. I will mention all over social media how Bosch treated this situation and my overall experience. We had to pay multiple amounts to the plumbers who visited our home, who ended up telling us this is something Bosch should be handling for us. Where is Bosch when this customer needs them to help? The 15 year warranty is mighty easy to void isnt it. Also, if Bosch is so confident that the install is incorrect, why doesnt Bosch come here and take a look themselves? Id appreciate a response as this is getting extremely frustrating.

DO NOT BUY BOSCH APPLIANCES. Lousy quality, terrible, unethical and helpless customer service, supervision and management policies. I currently own several thousand dollars of expensive Bosch appliances that are in my judgement and based on experience, poorly designed, poorly engineered, poorly fabricated with deficient materials & components and assembled with lousy craftsmanship Poorly made products indeed, contrary to other high quality Bosch tools, equipment and electronic components used in German made cars. The microwave oven [HMB5050/01] is sitting there for more than six months waiting for Bosch to authorize me to take it to a local dealer at no charge for their required service inspection. It is unacceptable, unreasonable and unethical that the microwave oven is totally useless after only a year+ and should have to be replaced under warranty even if it had expired a few months prior. Now, for whatever reason the SS refrigerator doors are rusting!!! badly [B26FT70SNS/04]. It is unreasonable and unacceptable for any 300 series quality ASME SS to rust in this day and age, it is terrible that your customer service rep argued on the 10 yr warranty first that it was the cleaning product we use [none-my wife will not use any chemicals] and then that warranty only covers rusted perforations!!! I understand manufacturing quality problems that escape inspection or lousy purchasing specifications for defective austenitic steels [industry wide problem] but expect for the manufacturer as reputable as Bosch [was] to back its products ethically and accordingly to the nameplate they carry. The ice maker doesnt work, the shelving pops out, and it cracks easily. The dishwasher’s [800 SERIES SHE68R55UC] text by the buttons has faded away and sometimes it doesn’t dry completely and to top it all, I did not get my full $1500 rebate from Bosch when I purchased all the appliances under a ridiculous excuse on some of the appliances [“we don’t recognize the serial numbers”]. Reading throughout the enormous quantity of negative internet posts it looks like this should be a recall issue. I was hopeful that Bosch would come through as you all have with other customers but they didn’t. Their policies are not applied in a consistent manner; A reviewer at Amazon said I was very pleased that Bosh arranged to have my microwave fixed, even though it was 3 years out of warranty. I encourage anyone with similar problems to contact them rather than rant and rave about the problem, give them a chance to make it right.” Well, not to me regrettably.

The Bosch dishwasher seemed like a good idea. Its a reputable company, right? Furthermore, it fit my dishes and glasses. However, it never dries things. It is always dripping with moisture when I open it in the morning. The continually wet dishwasher has already ruined some of my good knives and stainless silverware. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BOSCH!! Poor customer service and bad products. I installed all new Bosch products for my remodeled kitchen 3 years ago. I noticed rust stains on my dishwasher about 2 years ago, and they became worse and worse to the point that friends who came over asked me why my dishwasher looked like that. Bosch customer service told me that they can only give me 50% off a new panel (and charge me additional for tax and freight), and I would have to pay $129 for the cost of their installer. I bought an oven, microwave, dishwasher and stove from them, and this is all they could do for me! They said to use a rust stain remover, and implied it was the kind of products I was using that caused the rust! I told them I never saw stainless steel rust, and this was the only appliance that was rusting. If you google other sites, many customers indicate that the materials in their stainless steel was not good. In addition, my cooktop had to be returned because the stainless steel near the burners were turning brown from the flames. Another product defect, and they had to replace my cooktop. Very disappointed in their customer service - the company does not support their products or their customers! BEWARE!

If you are considering buying a Bosch fridge freezer, be aware that they have chosen to design the light fitting for the cold water/ice dispenser so that you have to buy a complete replacement module and pay for them to visit your home to fit. Likely cost of all this will easily exceed £200/$300 - just to change a light! Ours lasted less than 3 years, so this would be an expensive fridge if we paid Bosch every time it failed. My experience with a Bosch dishwasher was having it hang up during a cycle and not shut off. This was the first month I used it. Turns out it was under recall for a control board failure that had caused fires. Unfortunately only a licenced Bosch repair company could do the warranty work. Closest and only (?) one in OR is 90 mins away. Control board costs half of what a good competitor brand machine costs. Since having it fixed, if the machine gets interrupted by power bump, door open, off button pressed, or anything, then it loses its place and is a nightmare to reset. Try googling how to reset one. Note the multiple ways given and question how or why there are so many. If I can just get it to drain this time, I have a Maytag waiting in the kitchen to take its place.

I purchased a Bosch dishwasher Model SHP65T55US thru Appliance Connections online. The item arrived with no dings, dents to the box - nor on the outside of the dishwasher. It was installed. We were able to use it for approx two weeks and the door all of a sudden wouldnt seal. Called Bosch & they gave us service repair places none of which wanted to repair the dishwasher as according to every single one of them - Bosch does not pay them enough for warranty work. This process took about a month - where Bosch ended up making a deal with one of the repair places to have them come out and repair the door. In the meantime, I took out the top rack & could not get it back in again. So I thought I would let the repairman do it. He came & fixed the door but could not get the rack in. He told us that it is a warranty issue as the top of the dishwasher was bowed. Bosch refuses to admit it is a warranty issue - they said that it is inspected before going out. This was missed by Bosch, by Appliance Connections and by us - until a Boschs Certified repairman informed us that it was a warranty issue. Bosch insists it is a shipping issue - how can that possibly be when it was bowed on the INSIDE... with no dings, dents, scratches, anything on the outside of the dishwasher. Must be a miracle that shipping caused a indentation on the inside. WOW... Really.

Unfortunately, they also did not have many updates regarding that and they said they will escalate to a higher level. Now it has been 30 days without any progress or update. I purchased a $1500.00 Bosch Stove HEIP054C-01 5 years ago. Within a year I had to have the panel replaced with the Stove knobs on it because the burner markings and high to low settings decals/markings had worn off. Now after 4 years these markings have worn off again. I feel that this is a fire hazard as it’s difficult to tell which burner I am turning on and often get the wrong one. I called Bosch and they said that they don’t have replacement decals like a lot of other appliance companies and that it would cost $500.00 to replace the whole panel again.I am truly disappointed that they don’t have a cheaper, easier fix. I will not be replacing the panel as it is too expensive. When I bought the stove I also bought a Bosch microwave, fridge and dishwasher. I can honestly say that I won’t be buying Bosch again for my next appliances. They are beautiful but really not great for Value for money and replacement parts which shouldn’t be needed after only 4 years are extremely expensive. Please stay away from this model and save yourself some headaches.

Bosch is known for being quiet. That is very important in homes with open floor plans. I have a large center island where the back of the dishwasher is facing a living space. Because it is only about 58 db, it is practically impossible to hear it running. Furthermore, the end of cycle chime is necessary to know when to empty it. The soil sensor seems to work quite well as it will only run as long as there are soiled dishes. The water temperature gets quite hot, so I know unwanted bacteria is eliminated. Dishes always come out squeaky clean. I love the half load cycle and use it frequently. The energy and water usage is very low. I think that most people who own dishwashers think that the whole unit fills with water each time they run a cycle, and so they are reluctant to run the dishwasher. Many folks, unknowingly, use MORE water by doing dishes by hand than they would have done if they had put them on the proper cycle in the dishwasher. If the owner would read the specifications of actual water usage, they would be surprised how little water a full load uses in comparison to rinsing dishes before placing them in. I also like the fact that I can put delicate items, such as crystal and fine china, and know that nothing is going to come out damaged or cracked. The size of most regular household units will fit into a standard 24 wide lower cabinet. I also think the capacity and overall arrangement of the racks gives quite a bit of flexibility, as no two loads contain the same collection of dishes to be washed to be washed at the same time. This particular unit has a very low-profile handle and doesnt interfere with todays contemporary, clean lines in the kitchen. The handle is sturdy and feels secure. My unit is a nice grade of stainless steel, not a thin gauge that would tend to dent easily. The interior is also a food-grade stainless steel that doesnt collect unwanted odors or corrosion from the soap. If you opt for Bosch, you dont have to get a really expensive, high-end model since they are all extremely quiet and easy to use. Bosch also, in my opinion, exudes an element of high quality, even if its a low-end model. Generally, the higher end machines have options and features that most owners rarely use. I believe that Bosch is a good choice for a discriminating buyer who doesnt necessarily have a huge budget, but wants a beautiful, efficient machine that will last a long time. It is a work-horse that will bring compliments from friends and family for years to come as they have a 25 year warranty on their products.

I have bought several Bosch appliances. I’ve had less than desirable performance from them. Finding someone that will service a Bosch is impossible. I had a refrigerator stop working and they just let me know it was my tough luck that they couldn’t come for a service call for two weeks. The repair service in Birmingham was very unprofessional and seemed not to care. I will not buy another Bosch appliance.

My new 500-series dishwasher produces huge clouds of toxic and awful-smelling air--and this from the very first wash. I hired a service person to come in and check the installation. That was perfect. Dishes appear to be steamed rather than washed. Every coffee cup looks dirty when I remove it despite using the 10-minute rinse cycle on days when I do not run the wash. Everything is sopping wet. The smell from the insulation around the unit to keep it quiet, Ive read is so noxious, that it assaults anyone who comes into the kitchen. Even when the washer isnt running, it stinks. Ive tried leaving the door open so that the water can evaporate and things can dry. I have come to avoid the kitchen and find myself eating out and bringing food in rather than generate dishes. Bosch did not respond to my complaint. I regret purchasing a Bosch and Im angry that its off-gasses have pushed everyone out of the kitchen.

We bought our Bosch Ascenta Dishwasher two years ago. One year and one month to the date of purchase it quit working. Called them. They came out and fixed it. Argued with me but they fixed it. One year later, same problem. Now its out of warranty and they wont fix it. Wont even really discuss with me. How can a name brand, like Bosch, not be able to build a dishwasher that will last more than one year? Or two? And when I get customer service, how can they not care? Amazing? I asked for help and they told me to get an analysis and then UPPER MANAGEMENT will determine whether they are going to help me. Crazy. Does the president/CEO of the company have to review every single case? What a joke. I will NEVER purchase or recommend a Bosch appliance again in my life EVER.

For a kitchen renovation in May 2018 I purchased Bosch oven, stove, dishwasher, hood and refrigerator. The 1st day the on/off button on the range hood broke AND the icemaker fell out of the refrigerator. They were repaired at no cost. 8 months later the refrigerator lost power. Upon calling for service we were informed there were 3 authorized dealers in Westchester, NY and we needed to wait 5 days for a repair person. This is not a rural area. Crazy that there are only 3 contracted repair companies. If we called our own repair person the warranty would become invalid and we would have to pay for the repair/part. The person came and said they needed to order a part (computer board) from out of state which would take 5 days. Whatever happened to overnight service? 10 days later the refrigerator which was 8 months old was repaired. We noticed the oven took 2x longer than a recipe required. Upon buying an in oven thermometer we determined that even after following directions to preheat, the oven did not get to the temperature it was set for even after 1 hour. The icemaker works at a snails pace. It takes 24 hours to spit out 10 cubes. I get the sense it doesnt work right. I would NEVER recommend Bosch appliances and I am VERY disappointed I purchased these products. THE WORST.

I started my claim 5 months ago & still no resolution! Bosch sent 2 different repair companies out to replace parts to our microwave (brand new unit which didnt work correctly from early on). After the repairmen changed the parts, micro still didnt work. I made numerous phone calls (thats putting it mildly!) to Bosch Customer Service advising them that since the new parts did not resolve the problem, what was their next step for me. After being put on hold many times – four times up to 20 min., I couldnt even get thru to management! They are a terrible company to deal with and I want future customers to know how they deal with you by shuffling you around instead of replacing a defective appliance.

Our Bosch 800 gas slide-in range was purchased in late 2019, installed in February 2020 and the igniter failed in October 2021. One would hope that a new $2200 range would last longer than a year and a half before failing. We would have had to wait 30 days for service at hundreds of dollars cost, so I bought a new igniter and installed it so that we would have a working oven. Bosch was unwilling to reimburse us for the $105 igniter. I dont recommend Bosch.

Food does not get off my utensils especially my knives. It looks as though they are rusty when it is food. A no handle dishwasher with buttons on the bottom of the handle does not light up. In a semi-dark kitchen, you cannot see the buttons to select and start the dishwasher. Poor design. I used to have an Asko and I think that it was bigger and brighter. No light inside and no lights outside. Other than that I dont feel one way or another about the appearance. It is really quiet. That is the reason I bought it over others. It does have its drawbacks.

We got a Bosch Refrigerator vía our Builder, is the brand they carry. Is a Bosch French Door Bottom Mount! Every one we use the water dispenser the water drips constantly. We are trying to figure out what to put there. Every time that we use the ice dispenser the ice flies all over our wood floor. We have to pick up the ice constantly from the floor. The Bosch technician came to our home yesterday and said nothing could be done. That it was normal, I told him is NOT. We own an LGE and Whirlpool for over 10 years and never had that problem. That said he said, Buy bigger glasses. Really?

We purchased our 800 Series from Lowes. I wish I had returned it. The wheels on the lower rack were poorly designed (product manager should be fired). If there are any dishes in the lower rack, you cannot pull the rack out. Its frustrating to struggle with this everyday, and with the price we paid, I really expected a better dishwasher. I have called customer service three times. They have been no help - instead, they wanted to send out a service person. (Can you fix bad design?) The last agent said, Oh, we have a fix for that now - has anyone offered to send you the fat wheels. The wheels were not wider, and they were not a fix. The rack constantly gets rolls off track and gets stuck inside the dishwasher. So - if youre going to purchase any Bosch at all - you might want to try putting a few plates into the bottom rack and see if it pulls out. This one bad design feature overshadows the third rack for silverware and any other nifty features. If you cannot get the most important design right, the rest do not matter. Oh, and you must thoroughly prewash your dishes as this 800 Series cannot do the job on its own.

Ice maker had barely worked from beginning. Then refrigerator part broke right after one yr warranty, even though it had only run 6 mos. $700 in repairs. Now refrigerator began freezing everything. So repairs are over $500. But repairman showed us the part that broke and we put gorilla tape over the air coming out freezing everything until we decided whether to pay another $500 or throw this $3,200 POS in the garbage.

These Bosch Appliances are a piece of garbage. I purchased a washer and dryer for a heck of a lot of money because I believed too much and now they are garbage! They dont drain well, our clothes smell, and they ball your wash. My washer is ready to walk away by itself when it spins. If I could, I would burn them. Who ever heard of taking an hour to do a load of wash and you cant adjust the settings? I have heard from a lot of people that have seen my washer and dryer how nice it looks until I tell them what they are like. I let anyone who asks if I like them and I say no. I dont recommend these appliances to anyone even if they are looking at them in the stores. Now, when I look at all the comments of all your appliances, your company is no good. I will never recommend your company to anyone.

The first to go was dryer, that repeatedly gave lint error message and would not switch on. The next was built in microwave oven at 4 years. Then the washing machine has to be replaced at 5 years. In the 7th year it is the built in double oven, after minor troubles over 2 years finally failed completely. The company is not helpful. Didnt clean anything. You had to wash the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. If you rinsed the dishes they would come out dirty. There was no difference in the normal wash to the heavy duty wash or even quick wash. It was a regular sized dishwasher, 22 inches wide I think. Stainless steel showed every water drip fingerprint and pet nose print. It was pathetic. No assistance from Bosch for its warranty was useless. Changed the motor and no difference. Only thing it was good for is to be run over by a loader to flatten it.

Bosch 500 Nexxt Plus Washer - The washer smells awful. We try to clean the door gasket and leave the door open. Our towels smell awful after the first day. One out of 10 times the washer does not spin out the water, so you have to do a quick wash to get the system to spin out the water. Have an expensive 8 yr old Bosch refrigerator. Already replaced water pump (about $400.) now door handle broke off at bottom. Bosch CS is worthless. Most repair services dont handle bosch - cant readily get parts. Those that do wont give prices - they want $100 service call to diagnose prob and then order parts for 2nd visit. And cant get price of new handle without a costly visit -- some scam theyve got going. It also never produces enough ice. Supposed to be stainless steel - aside from not being stainless its not magnetic - so what kind of SS is it really. My opinion is to never buy bosch anything.

We bought our unit in February and had it installed in March, a month later. But the microwave component did not work from Day 1!!! We called the warranty support line and was given several repair shops to call. Some would not serve our area as we are out of the city. The third one on their list came out in April and verified that the unit was not working and needed two new parts. Upon returning to the shop, he confirmed that they would have to be ordered. Four weeks later, after hearing nothing, we called to find that the parts were not yet in. Less than a week later, now late in May, they arrived. They were installed and the unit worked on June 9th. We called to see about a warranty extension so that it would start in June rather than February. But they categorically refused. Bad unit, bad warranty service experience, bad experience with Bosch customer service.
