Technician are not attending the customers in time. They made us to wait days together. This is the first time I bought washing machine. All my happiness became sad with customer care. I am still waiting for the Technician to install water smoother and to get a cover.

We have a top-of-the-line Bosch dishwasher. The performance is unsatisfactory. If I wanted to clean my dishes before using the dishwasher, why would I need a dishwasher? A single speck of food will be transferred to another item as well as retained on the original item. Would never recommend Bosch.

This is our second Bosch dishwasher. The first one died within a year and was replaced (though it took ages). We loved the way it worked, esp. the silence of it, but were surprised by the failure of a new appliance. The customer service was not great. New house, new DW: this one died within 11 months of purchase and installation. And I am a super-neat-freak the dishes are almost clean when they go in dishwasher user. But still, this new Bosch died 11 months in, and 5 weeks after reporting the problem were still being given the run-around.After trying to replace the board and sensor unit on site this past week, the service guys hauled it away, damaging my cabinetry. And suddenly (lo, presto!) we now, 2 days later, have a leak under our sink, which is adjacent to the DW, from where they pulled the fill/drain hoses and did god knows what. Next time I will camp over their shoulders, video camera on. So: 5 weeks after reporting the Bosch units failure, we have no dishwasher, and are unable to use our kitchen sink. I am disgusted.

I was so looking forward and very excited to finally have Bosch appliances in my newly remodeled kitchen, however, I am now very disappointed and heartbroken with my first time Bosch appliance experience. Purchased the Bosch kitchen appliance suite and while the refrigerator and range seem to be fine, our installer discovered severe concealed damage to the $1000 dishwasher when unpacking to install. The inside of the dishwasher is crushed in from the top and the upper spray unit was dislodged from its bracket. The box arrived in perfect condition (as did the range and refrigerator) and no damage is noticeable until unpacked AND the felt covering is pulled back to see the damage to the outside of the unit. The response from the Bosch USA customer service team was that, upon review, they were unable (unwilling!) to help. When I asked to speak to the decision making manager I was told We are not allowed to do that. It would appear that the dishwasher was damaged at the Bosch factory and shipped to the distributor who also assumed the unit was undamaged due to the perfect condition of the box. Is this the way a world-renowned brand like Bosch provides excellent customer service and satisfaction?!? Really?!?

After 2h 45mins on the phone and talking to 10(!) separate people with Wayfair and Bosch trying to get the dishwasher I ordered last Wednesday, that was supposed to arrive on Friday, that I then had to call to find out why it wasnt delivered on Friday, only to be told it was on a truck and could be delivered Sat, but Sat didnt work for us so the next available date was today (Wednesday - 5 days late), only for them to now tell me (after having to call back to find out why I hadnt heard anything about delivery), that there is no dishwasher until at best (!) early November!! I am APPALLED at the customer service from both Wayfair and Bosch in not stepping up to solve THEIR problem. When I called Bosch directly, they told me they couldnt talk to me and that I had to call Wayfair back (yet again). Complete runaround. Ultimately I was told that I should just cancel my order and order something else (like this was my fault!) without any offer to resolve the issue. And finally after 10 people, I still have no real sense if Bosch actually has any dishwashers in stock anywhere. While I wanted a Bosch based on reviews for quality, Im not planning on making ANY future orders. If I could give 0 stars I would. A complete waste of time and effort! STAY AWAY!!

We purchased a Bosch dishwasher and about a year later, a Bosch washer and dryer. After 4 years with the dishwasher, the water no longer was hot. We telephoned the company we purchased it from and they referred us to a repairman. Bosch only certifies certain companies to do their repairs. Unfortunately, this company wasnt really easy to work with. They did eventually come out to the house. After a prolonged conversation with a Bosch representative, it was determined the internal water heater was bad. The part was ordered. It took three months for the part to come in and eventually get replaced. When the part was put in by the same company and the machine turned on, the board indicated it would take 367 minutes to wash an empty load of dishes. The representative left and indicated the machine would have to be reset. Well the next day, I phoned them back. The machine ran the 367 minutes but no hot water. They sent a different repairman and Bosch wasnt willing to accept they diagnosed the problem incorrectly. They did eventually replace the motherboard and the machine is currently working. The washing machine, after 3 years of use and with only 2 people in the family, started rocking and my husband saw sparks on the inside of the wash tub. We were told it could not be repaired. We couldnt dump it fast enough. Dryer still worked but it took over an hour to dry a regular load of clothes. The machine didnt clean well and the dryer often left clothes damp even though the moisture sensor had been checked twice. Bosch is highly overrated and they must pay their vocal advocates a lot of money. We wont even consider a Bosch in the future.

We bought a complete set of Bosch appliances, range, fridge, microwave, and dishwasher in 2016. Within the first year, we had a repairman come out for our ice maker on the fridge, (wasnt making ice) quick enough, thought he fixed it the first time but... he ended up coming back out a second time. We then came to the conclusion we use too much ice than the ice maker can handle for 2 adults!! (Seems odd) but ok. Fine... Now here we are, 3 years later and my range will not heat, the broiler works but the oven does not.. for appliances that are relatively new that seems really odd!!!! Ive had a Whirlpool that lasted 15 years!!! I do not think I will buy another Bosch appliance!! Ill stick with GE or Whirlpool... Tomorrow I have a repairman coming!! Can only imagine what thats going to cost!!??

We purchased this refrigerator to replace a side-by-side that was over a decade old and having trouble keeping the refrigerator cool enough. We needed a counter-depth model due to the relatively small size of our kitchen, and we wanted a French door style with one or two freezer drawers. Other features we wanted: large enough vegetable and fruit bins (some brands have ridiculously small bins), digital controls, LED lights, ice maker (but we had not liked the in-door water and ice we had on the side-by side), the ability to make a shelf into a half-shelf to accommodate tall bottles, and a lot of usable door space. We have been able to fit quite a lot in the refrigerator portion--more than we did in the side-by-side. The shelves are laid out quite nicely, and we have not even made adjustments from the original factory positions. We don't use the egg trays (we kept the tray from the side-by-side, which we like better), but we think we could use one more door shelf and may order one. The freezer is a bit more space limited, although we have been able to fit virtually everything we needed without too much of a problem. We were a bit skeptical about the full-width tray at the refrigerator bottom, but have found ourselves using it for a number of items, especially cheese. This French-door refrigerator allows you to open the left door, access, and close it without touching the right door. I have struggled with other brands that require you to pop the right door just to get the left one in place. We live in Boston where the water is better than anywhere that we have lived, so the lack of a filter has not been a problem (we did flush things out with a few batches of ice at first). It senses when you need ice, so you don't have to manually turn it off. Unlike some reviewers, we have found that it makes plenty of ice. (Our other refrigerator did have a small water filter, but it was always unclear how often we needed to change it and when it might itself become a source of bacteria. If you really need a filter, we would think it might be better to get a more robust one that filtered both the sink tap water and the line to the refrigerator.) Our only caution/complaint is that the door-open warning is not loud enough. You really need to make sure the French doors are fully closed, because you won't easily hear the low-level dinging over a normal TV or stereo.

Worst customer service! I had an appointment yesterday for my washer and the technician was supposed to call me the night before or morning of the appointment to give me a two hour window. My appointment was in the window of 8-12. I have taken a half day off to be there. No one called. I then called customer service at Bosch and was on hold for 25 minutes just to get disconnected. I called again and was on hold for another 25 minutes. The representative said the technician had an emergency. She put me on with her supervisor who said she was sorry and scheduled me for the next day for a window of 8-5. She said Bosch should have notified me and stated she understood my frustration and admitted over and over that this was their fault. She then states the technician would call me with a two hour window that night or the next morning. She promised I would get a call this time.Next morning arrives, yes I had to take the day off, and technician did not call the night before or morning of. I called customer service and was on hold for 30 minutes. She calls the technician, on hold for another 15 minutes, to give me the two hour window from 12-2 pm. I waiting and waiting... I then get a call close to 1:30 that he showed up and left because my building wanted to see his ID and he refused to give it to them. Ok, I get that, but why did he leave without calling me directly. Why have a call center call me?I told the call center I can let him up if he had called me directly. She said no he is not coming and wont come back. She gives me another company she has looked into that can come and fix my washing machine. I called them and they say they do not service Chicago and they are 2 1/2 hours away and they get calls from Bosch all the time and they tell them over and over that they do not service Chicago. I go down to my building to ask why they didnt call me and both the front desk and security said no one from Bosch has been there. The desk always calls if there is an issue. They cannot lie!I call customer service again on hold for 25 minutes and got disconnected. Called again and on hold for 25 minutes and finally someone gets on the phone. She says she is calling the technician right then. Im on hold for 15 minutes and then I get disconnected. I call again and on hold for 25 minutes and the rep says he has to put me on hold... on hold for another 20 minutes for him to say the technician didnt want to show his ID, so left. All this has been explained and in the notes... I said I want to speak with a supervisor, because the day prior the supervisor was very apologetic. Supervisor Ray gets on the phone. He says there is nothing he can do. Only reschedule me for November 10th-- two weeks from today or give me a third party number, which didnt work before. He was very rude and would not help in any way. He did care about all I went through and how I already took 1 1/2 days off from work.Again, the technician lied about coming, but Ray did not care. Why didnt he have someone else service my machine or yet, make him come back? He refused to do anything about. He never apologized until I said you are not even sorry. He tone of voice was awful. I asked to speak with his manager and he said there was no one above him. Hard to believe... I cannot believe how unprofessional he was. It was truly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Ray the supervisor and the technician should not be employed by Bosch.

Absolutely love this stove. I use the convection more than anything because it seems to cook more quickly and food tastes better on this function. The stove top definitely heats up even on low knobs so be careful! Always start stovetop on lower settings especially if you have expensive pots and pans! When you are cooking in oven, be sure to press Kitchen Timer and not Oven Timer or the oven will automatically turn off after your done cooking which is nice but I always use Kitchen Timer button so that I don’t have to keep reheating the oven if I am cooking more than one dish or if I need to continue to time items on stove top. The depth for dishes is larger than my last stove but not as wide no complaints but just depends on what size pans your using. I love it!

We bought our Bosch dishwasher in 2012 because we heard they were the best from the salesman (I think it was because he got a spiff for selling that brand that month). I am sorry to say that the dishwasher is leaking due to a defective valve. Bosch customer service claimed our dishwasher is “old”. They also state that their dishwasher life expectancy is only 10 years now. Hmm. My last KitchenAid dishwasher turned 15 years old when we sold the house and the owner said it went out finally after 20 years. My GE at our other house is still going strong after 14 years. Bosch is not what it use to be and their customer service manager is rude. When a company has it in the back of their head that their appliances are pretty much done at 10 years that says something about their philosophy behind building them. Just saying.

I purchased this dishwasher on 8-1-18. Four months later I heard a motor running my kitchen. After investigation I determined that it was the dishwasher drain pump. I opened up the door and the key pad was dead. The only way to shut it off was to unplug it. I called Bosch and they gave me a number to call saying it would be two and a half weeks before a serviceman could be out. Two and a half weeks and no show. Called again and told another two and half weeks. Over a month later and a technician shows up. He said water had leaked into the bottom somehow but couldnt determine where it is coming from! He said he needed to order a part and it is backordered, (Two Weeks) and Bosch wont see the part and it wont be released at least for another week after that! Furthermore he doesnt know if it will fix it!! I purchased this brand because they were supposed to have a good service record? I consider this a LEMON and after calling and explaining my circumstances I asked them to replace it not knowing if it will ever be right and was refused. If you buy a Bosch have them throw in a dish rack and drain pan with it!

Right out of the box, our brand new Bosch tankless water heater (2700 NG model) did not work. Our plumber called their customer service. The person he spoke with, and subsequently my husband spoke to as well, was extremely rude. He told us that we would have to order a new one (it would take four days to deliver) and that we would have to pay the plumber to reinstall the new one as well as pay for shipping on the new unit. Who has that type of customer service? It was brand new and just out of the box and it is defective. The hardware store where we purchased it told us it was an issue that we had to take up with Bosch. Talk about being between a rock and a hard place! After hours on the phone with both Bosch and the hardware store, Bosch agreed to send us a new tankless heater and the hardware store agreed to pick up the overnight shipping cost. We are still out the cost of having the new tank installed. I would never purchase anything that bears the Bosch name on it. And yes, I did my research about tankless water heaters. This will be the first of many websites that I will tell the world about the poor customer service by Bosch. Do yourself a favor and purchase any other tankless besides Bosch!

DO NOT BUY BOSCH APPLIANCES. Lousy quality, terrible, unethical and helpless customer service, supervision and management policies. I currently own several thousand dollars of expensive Bosch appliances that are in my judgement and based on experience, poorly designed, poorly engineered, poorly fabricated with deficient materials & components and assembled with lousy craftsmanship Poorly made products indeed, contrary to other high quality Bosch tools, equipment and electronic components used in German made cars. The microwave oven [HMB5050/01] is sitting there for more than six months waiting for Bosch to authorize me to take it to a local dealer at no charge for their required service inspection. It is unacceptable, unreasonable and unethical that the microwave oven is totally useless after only a year+ and should have to be replaced under warranty even if it had expired a few months prior. Now, for whatever reason the SS refrigerator doors are rusting!!! badly [B26FT70SNS/04]. It is unreasonable and unacceptable for any 300 series quality ASME SS to rust in this day and age, it is terrible that your customer service rep argued on the 10 yr warranty first that it was the cleaning product we use [none-my wife will not use any chemicals] and then that warranty only covers rusted perforations!!! I understand manufacturing quality problems that escape inspection or lousy purchasing specifications for defective austenitic steels [industry wide problem] but expect for the manufacturer as reputable as Bosch [was] to back its products ethically and accordingly to the nameplate they carry. The ice maker doesnt work, the shelving pops out, and it cracks easily. The dishwasher’s [800 SERIES SHE68R55UC] text by the buttons has faded away and sometimes it doesn’t dry completely and to top it all, I did not get my full $1500 rebate from Bosch when I purchased all the appliances under a ridiculous excuse on some of the appliances [“we don’t recognize the serial numbers”]. Reading throughout the enormous quantity of negative internet posts it looks like this should be a recall issue. I was hopeful that Bosch would come through as you all have with other customers but they didn’t. Their policies are not applied in a consistent manner; A reviewer at Amazon said I was very pleased that Bosh arranged to have my microwave fixed, even though it was 3 years out of warranty. I encourage anyone with similar problems to contact them rather than rant and rave about the problem, give them a chance to make it right.” Well, not to me regrettably.

Overall the stove is a good unit. However, cleaning it completely is difficult because it does not allow you to remove the power knobs to perform a complete cleaning. In addition, the heat elements are not consistently on, regardless of what setting you place them on. They will stay on for a short period and then turn off for a few minutes until such time that it feels it should come back on to that setting. The unit is a little pricey, around $800 for a cooktop. There are no frills extras on the unit, very basic in fact. You need to be careful as to what you use to clean the top or surface; very easy to remove the black coating if done with a wrong cleaner.

Washes dishes but often leaves residue. Doesnt dry the plastics. Honestly, I use the main wash; pots and pans is too hot most of the time, and the quick wash doesnt really clean them all. I dont like the arrangement of the racks. Bowls dont fit well on either level, I could help Bosch find a much better way so loading is easier. Its comparable to others in the same price range. I dont recommend the Bosch stackable dryer. Drying sheets is a pain since the dryer rolls them up in a ball; if you dont shake them out every few minutes, the inside stays damp. The sensor doesnt work, so you have to keep adding time to the dryer. And things take much longer to dry than they should. I have been a longtime owner of Bosch appliances in every home we own with no issues in the past 20 years. I down sized and moved into a new home. I decided to change out the refrigerator first. I love the new refrigerator with French doors and one big drawer below. Upon delivery my appliance was DOA. It tripped the dedicated breaker in the garage. We plugged it into other outlets in the kitchen to check to see if it was the outlet. They took it away, the rep was very arrogant saying that it was a problem with our electric in our new home. The distributor asked if we could have an electrician check out. The electrician said that we would need to something that he can not and would not do for us. We needed to put an old style non-ARC breaker in for that dedicated outlet. The retailer brought it back on Tuesday the following week after my husband installed a Non-ARC required by code breaker. It works. So we needed to break the electrical code to keep this appliance. The electrician said that their refrigerator and DWs have that issue. In the country they are made, they do not replicate the electrical supply with breakers like we have in the US for testing and this problem is known by the reps, distributors, and the company. I would love to see them do something about it. We have an electrical code for a reason. ARCs have been required since about 2013 or so. You would think they would have corrected this by now. All of my other homes were not new- last three so it was not an issue with the breakers. You choose.

I purchased a $1,600 Bosch dishwasher with the hope of owning a top rated and performing dishwasher. Wrong! This dishwasher has been nothing but trouble. At 8 months, it leaked profusely and caused $4,000 in damage to the kitchen in my 2 year old house. I live in Florida and this caused mold, which required remediation and the replacement of a kitchen cabinet. The pain of messing up my beautiful new home in addition to the loss of use of a dishwasher for 4 months. Their insurance company did pay, but my inconvenience and exposure to the mold was not even considered. The next year, the power cord was recalled due to fires. A backorder for the part took one month. Last month, the drain pump failed and another 3 weeks of no dishwasher. All told, this dishwasher has been out of commission for almost 5 months. Bosch’s Reply is, The dishwasher is out of warranty, so take it up with your extended warranty. What about Bosch’s obligation to provide the customer with the goods that they paid for? Did I mention how rude the customer service reps are? Bosch needs to own up to their shortcomings and be fair to the consumer. Lemons happen and they need to correct the situation with a new product. Don’t hold your breath!

A few things I noticed to improve performance and maintenance is to have a dedicated towel handy to wipe the water off the door and soak up any residual water left under the grey rubber flap around the circular opening. Water always collects there and if you don't soak this up with a towel, mold can grow over time. I also decided to add the detergent directly to the washer chamber instead of using the upper fill cartridges to avoid gunking up the interior tubes/slots that can also encourage mold growth. This was advice given to me from a relative with a similar machine. I do suggest using the slots for bleach as directed in the manual. Overall, an excellent machine! I only wish these compact machines were better priced, as they are all currently around twice the cost of a regular sized washer. (from all manufacturers) Somewhere around $600 seems more appropriate.

Our old dishwasher pump failed after 17 years, so we decided to replace the dishwasher. I spent a lot of time investigating different appliances, and we decided to go with a Bosch. It hasnt turned out so well. First, we had constant horrible smells coming from inside the dishwasher. We contacted Bosch, but they didnt advise of any fixes. We saw on the internet that this was a common issue with Bosch (after we owned it). We did finally find a solution by changing the location of the drain line and where it ties in to the garbage disposal. I would have thought Bosch could have offered that fix, but they didnt. The second event has been disastrous. Theres a valve on the bottom of the dishwasher, not sure if it is the drain discharge valve or a water inlet valve. We wont know until the repair person that Bosch is sending takes a look. We accidentally discovered that the valve has failed and is leaking (again, we are seeing this complaint on the internet now). This valve failure has ruined our hardwood floors as well as the finished ceiling in the room below. We wont know how extensive the damage is or if mold is present until we pull up the hardwood floor. We are guessing that theres thousands of dollars’ worth of damage to remove and replace the floor and the ceiling below. I have no idea what mold remediation cost could be if we discover theres mold. I thought I was getting a high end appliance that would be trouble free. I would have saved money by replacing the pump in the old dishwasher. Since this seems to be a common problem, Im surprised that Bosch didnt contact us to replace this valve versus allowing a faulty part to ruin our home. Bosch has opened a claim for us and is sending a person by to inspect. We will see how good their customer service is with regard to this issue. More to follow.

Was remodeling my kitchen and wanted to date my appliances. Did research and came up with Bosch as a number one brand. It is not. You know the commercial, if you have to rinse the dishes what does a dishwasher do? Well, that’s this dishwasher. It takes just over 2 hours to do a normal cycle and still I’m rewashing by hand. I thought it maybe the detergent I use so switched, nope. I wish I stayed with my OLD Maytag! I gave it 2 stars because it is very quiet. I wish I could change it, but not willing to be out $900 bucks.

I have a stainless Bosch model SHX43R55uc/64 and it STINKS like no other even cheap dishwasher I have ever owned in my entire life!! I am looking to replace it due to the SMELL, it cleans the dishes well but the smell in the unit after the wash is enough to choke a sanitary worker. It smells like dead animals. I take a turkey baster and remove about 4 full basters full of water out of the bottom below the filter that if left there gets putrid, then put some bleach in it but fear that my dishes are being washed with bleach. I had a repair man out and he said, Nothing you can do about it thats the way it was designed!

We purchased a Bosch refrigerator while building our house. By the time we plugged it in we had owned it 6 mos at least. This was in August 2016. By Jan 2017 we began having problems. Ice maker had barely worked from beginning. Then refrigerator part broke right after one yr warranty, even though it had only run 6 mos. $700 in repairs. Now refrigerator began freezing everything. So repairs are over $500. But repairman showed us the part that broke and we put gorilla tape over the air coming out freezing everything until we decided whether to pay another $500 or throw this $3,200 POS in the garbage.

My lower Bosch oven has always been slow to preheat but it wasnt until the oven surface was being cleaned while the oven was on that I realized that the oven was very hot to the touch on the lower outside of the oven door. Three visits by an authorized tech to rule out problems with the door and gaskets resulted in his conclusion that the oven has a defect that it is a fire hazard as heat is going into the surrounding wall. I am asking other consumers who find their ovens are slow to preheat to actually check the outside border of the oven while on to see if it is hot. I am filing complaints with the relevant state and federal consumer product safety organizations in the hope of starting a recall. So check your in the wall Bosch ovens while on.

I had some issues with the fridge, it wouldn’t cool and also the water dispenser stopped working. The technician came on a number of occasions to figure out what the issue was, of course all at a cost to me. He thought he figured out why it wasn’t cooling and replaced the fan. He told me to purchase a triple valve from Bosch and that should fix my water dispensing issue. So I ordered online straight away. After a few days the item arrived, but I had also noticed that the internal temp inside the fridge didn’t go below 20 degrees Celsius. I decided enough was enough, spent so much on this technician and yet nothing, so I went out and purchased a new fridge. I contacted Bosch and explained the situation, and seek a refund on this triple Valve, technician labor cost as well as the cost for the new fan he had installed because the fridge clearly isn’t going to work. Till now it is still under review. As for the triple valve I sent it back to Bosch at their request (after again explaining to sales why I no longer want the item) at my own expense and yet they still charged me a ‘restocking fee’. I told them I only purchased it at the advice of the technician but because he couldn’t resolve my main issue, I didn’t need it anymore. They wouldn’t budge. I will recommend anyone that is thinking about purchasing a Bosch appliance to reconsider. Their customer service is awful and their technicians don’t seem to know the product too well either.

We purchased our 800 Series from Lowes. I wish I had returned it. The wheels on the lower rack were poorly designed (product manager should be fired). If there are any dishes in the lower rack, you cannot pull the rack out. Its frustrating to struggle with this everyday, and with the price we paid, I really expected a better dishwasher. I have called customer service three times. They have been no help - instead, they wanted to send out a service person. (Can you fix bad design?) The last agent said, Oh, we have a fix for that now - has anyone offered to send you the fat wheels. The wheels were not wider, and they were not a fix. The rack constantly gets rolls off track and gets stuck inside the dishwasher. So - if youre going to purchase any Bosch at all - you might want to try putting a few plates into the bottom rack and see if it pulls out. This one bad design feature overshadows the third rack for silverware and any other nifty features. If you cannot get the most important design right, the rest do not matter. Oh, and you must thoroughly prewash your dishes as this 800 Series cannot do the job on its own.

When I called Customer Service today the woman was not at all helpful, especially when she saw that I am two months past my 1-year warranty. Admittedly, my Bosch Oven is now over 10 years old and out of warranty. However, this is the second time that the Bosch Oven has exploded with glass shattering over the floor and the people in the kitchen. Whilst I expect some ovens to grow old, I do not expect them to explode - especially twice now. The first was when the oven was being used and the second time was when the oven had cooled down. The first time, Bosch provided some (around 40%) reimbursement. On the second contact, first impression from customer service was that they were interested, but since then, they have been notably unavailable for comment or response. If you are considering buying a Bosch fridge freezer, be aware that they have chosen to design the light fitting for the cold water/ice dispenser so that you have to buy a complete replacement module and pay for them to visit your home to fit. Likely cost of all this will easily exceed £200/$300 - just to change a light! Ours lasted less than 3 years, so this would be an expensive fridge if we paid Bosch every time it failed. After 40 years, it was finally time to purchase a brand new washer/dryer set. Since I had lived in Europe, I had a high opinion of Bosch appliances and choose Bosch as my brand (Model #WFMC5301UC 16-496151) for both the washer and dryer. It was a huge mistake. Two years after purchase, I had to replace the entire front door, which wouldnt close properly. Now, the same door has a crack at the base (even though I gently lift and close the door from the base for each use) and the water slowly trickles down to the floor. The same is true of the dryer door -- two cracks across the top of the plastic. I called Bosch and the replacement cost would be half again as much as new appliances, which, of course, will be worthless. I was told that 5-10 years is all the one can get out of a top-quality appliance. I will NEVER purchase a Bosch product again. What pieces of junk!

I have owned and used our Bosch Dishwasher for over twelve years without a single problem. Ive heard complaints about Bosch lack of cleaning. I have never experienced such a problem. Some of the complaints sound as though they have a poor water supply. Maybe a water filter prior to the dishwasher would help. I read complaints regarding drying. l would need to know what is in the dishwasher first. If there is a lot of plastic I would expect less than quality. Bosch dries the dishes with hot water rinse. The latent heat of the dishes and glassware is used to dry. Plastic does not retain much heat thus the lack of drying. It is my opinion that the complaints are misdirected. It is a traditional/regular size dishwasher. The interior holds everything I need to wash, although the set up of the tines have taken a bit getting used to. I have been dealing with a non-working tankless water heater for about a week, and Bosch customer service keeps telling me from pictures I sent that the install is incorrect. I have had many technicians come into my home and verify the setup and that Bosch, a reputable company, should accommodate us. Its been under 5 years since we have used these units and with not having hot water for almost a week and the countless phone calls to Bosch and emails with pictures, I am resorting to going to the Better Business Bureau. We had the town of Clifton verify everything before they issued us a Certificate of Occupancy. This CO would not be issued if a potential threat was posed due to incorrect installation. We also called Clifton City Hall, who said install was done according to city code. Of two, only one tankless water heater works. I will mention all over social media how Bosch treated this situation and my overall experience. We had to pay multiple amounts to the plumbers who visited our home, who ended up telling us this is something Bosch should be handling for us. Where is Bosch when this customer needs them to help? The 15 year warranty is mighty easy to void isnt it. Also, if Bosch is so confident that the install is incorrect, why doesnt Bosch come here and take a look themselves? Id appreciate a response as this is getting extremely frustrating.

I had purchased Bosch washing machine (Model No. WAK24168IN/03) on 18/01/2016. On 03-02-2016, I found the washing machine throwing E-18 and stopped working. It was also giving electric shock on touching. Immediately, I called the customer care and registered complaint and they provided technician within 2 days. Technician informed us that drain pump got damaged and needs to be replaced with a new pump which will be fixed on 08-02-2016. From that day to till date, we had no information on the status from Service Center. We kept calling several times and asking the update on the status. They simply gave some stupid reasons and kept ignoring our calls. Finally, they gave us the number ** of senior authority from Bosch Services who had kept awaiting us by telling that he will call and update on the status, and kept postponing the dates without giving any info on the status.I have lost my patience following up the poor and reckless customer service, as it wasted my time as well as money on the name of the brand just for a spare part. If this is the situation of service in the warranty period, then I just cant imagine what will it be after that period. I also pity on customer service who cannot give any information on the address of their Service Center. Washing machine is a very important home appliance in a daily life and we cannot waste any more time on following up people from one side with no response on the opposite side which delayed and disturbed routine planned schedule. Hence, I request you to refund the money or to do the service as quick as possible since it is already one month with no update on the status from the Service Center either through mail/phone.

I bought this pairing tops hoping it is a good appliance. Less than 15 month and it has failed. Have extended warranty and they have made at least 6 visits and ordered multiple parts and it is still not working. It has been not working since Sept 1st week and we are more than three months without microwave. My $90 microwave bought 10 years ago is the savior compared to this piece of ** and New Leaf ** service.

Have an expensive 8 yr old Bosch refrigerator. Already replaced water pump (about $400.) now door handle broke off at bottom. Bosch CS is worthless. Most repair services dont handle bosch - cant readily get parts. Those that do wont give prices - they want $100 service call to diagnose prob and then order parts for 2nd visit. And cant get price of new handle without a costly visit -- some scam theyve got going. It also never produces enough ice. Supposed to be stainless steel - aside from not being stainless its not magnetic - so what kind of SS is it really. My opinion is to never buy bosch anything.

We purchased a Bosch dishwasher 2 years ago. We have had nothing but trouble with it. It had an interior odor from the very beginning and the smell continues to get worse, unbearable actually. We clean it regularly, wash the filters, use store bought cleaners, have tried vinegar, everything imaginable that I could find on the net. A couple weeks ago I decided to call Bosch. They sent a a service tech to the house who was there a total of 5 minutes. He looked in the dishwasher, checked the filter and the wash wand. He confirmed that the machine has an odor, confirmed that it is installed correctly and that the machine was in fact clean and well maintained. I followed up with Customer Service and was told the problem had been escalated. I was told they would respond within a 24-48 hour window. They didnt. I followed up once again and was told they would do nothing about the situation. When they said a service tech would come by, I assumed that meant they would be able to help. Sadly, it was all a waste of time. There has been nothing done to eliminate the odor and no explanation as to why the odor exists. We are currently renovating and will be replacing the dishwasher. We will NEVER EVER purchase a Bosch appliance again. This was an expensive mistake.

We got a Bosch Refrigerator vía our Builder, is the brand they carry. Is a Bosch French Door Bottom Mount! Every one we use the water dispenser the water drips constantly. We are trying to figure out what to put there. Every time that we use the ice dispenser the ice flies all over our wood floor. We have to pick up the ice constantly from the floor. The Bosch technician came to our home yesterday and said nothing could be done. That it was normal, I told him is NOT. We own an LGE and Whirlpool for over 10 years and never had that problem. That said he said, Buy bigger glasses. Really?

Because of good reviews we purchased our first Bosch. We were told how durable and outstanding they were. A one year warranty was given with the purchase. After 3 months we had problems with the control panel. Then the pump malfunctioned and a new pump was installed. Within this year we have had more water in the bottom and not pumping out. Called Bosch and they had their certified tech....hmmmm who made three appointments and never showed up. Then when he came it was for a whole five minutes to say we needed a new pump. Three weeks later he came and installed a new pump and was there a few minutes, never checking the complete cycle. It still doesnt drain out, so we called our own tech and he informs us that it is now a complete computer board. Oh we also have had to have our racks replaced as they rusted. Then the new racks dont match and dont have a track to stop the dishes from rolling out. We are through and have made a whole family pledge, never again a Bosch… dump Bosch from our lives and buy American who treats their customers with respect.

My children and I nearly lost our lives 3 nights ago in a fire. I went to bed after turning on my premium Bosch dishwasher. I am deaf in one ear. I went to sleep and heard/smelled nothing. Suddenly my 12 year-old daughter came running into my room yelling that there was a fire in the kitchen. I ran down and saw 3 foot flames coming out of the dishwasher. Thank god I had a fire extinguisher, which I had taught myself to use after seeing a Dateline story years ago that most Americans who have extinguishers dont know how to use them. We are now displaced temporarily from our apartment for at least 2-3 weeks during clean-up and without a kitchen for 3-4 months. If one more minute had passed, I would not have been able to reach the extinguisher on the counter and would have lost everything. If my daughter had not been so alert or there, I/we would have died. What makes me angry is that Bosch KNOWS these dishwashers may catch on fire. There is a voluntary recall posted deep in their site for models from 1999-2005 for a very rare ability to inflame. They have made little effort to contact consumers directly. If you google, you will see that the international news media is starting to notice.

We got our Bosch dishwasher 2 weeks ago. It was very labor intensive to set up. Too many bells and whistles. Also we did have a problem with water accumulation. We were told to use the extra shine button. This works. However we have to make sure we are here when the dishwasher is done so we can open it right away to let out the steam. So we have to take the extra step of setting the timer. Also it takes a very long time- 2 1/2 hours for the cycle to get done with the auto button and the extra shine button. Also the amount of dishes you can put in seems small. The plus here is that the dishwasher is very quiet. We got the Bosch hoping for an energy efficient machine. We do have to rinse the dishes first so that also takes up extra water. Perhaps this is a good model if you are a caterer, but cumbersome for general household use. My old broken down dishwasher did a better job of cleaning and drying in half the time. Its actually easier for me to wash my dishes by hand unless we have company.

Bosch Energy Star tankless hot water heater refused to start. 45-minute wait for tech help. Every fix they told me to try failed. Average time on the phone each time 1 hr 45 min. I went through the same dog and pony show each time. I was told to purchase a $50.00 part at their authorized parts house. Part out of stock. It took 15 days with express shipping. The part did not cure the problem. By this time we have gone one month without hot water (in the winter in Idaho). They stonewalled us at every turn. I finally talked to a female in sales who told me I didnt know what I was doing. In frustration I ripped out the Bosch and replaced it with a Rinnai tankless. What a nice unit - problem-free.And when you call, there is no wait, and their techs listen and answer each point. Not the negative attitude you get from Bosch. My best friend had similar experience with his Bosch dishwasher. Neither of us will ever purchase anything from BOSCH. As a note, yesterday I went to the auto parts to get an in-tank fuel pump for my Corvette. Needless to say, I didn’t buy the Bosch. I purchased the more expensive Delco. I also let them know why.

I purchased and installed the Bosch HMB8050/HBL8750 stacked microwave/convection oven and built-in oven pair in 2011. The microwave/convection oven was great in terms of roasting small items and we used it very frequently. That is until the convection part of the oven did not deliver the preset temperature and was making rattling noises. The repair technician determined that it was the drive shaft of the fan is broken causing temperature not distributing properly. We went to all the appliance parts suppliers and could not find the part as it has been discontinued. I also contacted Bosch directly, after being re-directed to 3 or 4 different numbers and confusion with the part number, they said no part was available. We tried to replace the microwave/convection oven with another Bosch but the model is discontinued. New models are now all flushed with the cabinets which means my existing cabinet has to be rebuilt and will look out of place with the existing built-in oven. Found a different make microwave/convection oven ($700) that may fits in the existing cut out but discovered that the Bosch microwave/convection oven and built-in oven shared the same power source!! The Bosch representative recommended replacing the complete system!!! So, because of a $180 part that Bosch discontinued will require me to take out a working microwave AND a perfectly working built-in oven and put in another Bosch $5,000 to $7, 000 combination oven in?? NO WAY! Will I buy another Bosch again? NO WAY! It is absolutely ridiculous to discontinue a part barely 10 years after a product in the market. Shame on Bosch.

Bosch 300 Dishwasher was running and cleaning great for about 2 years. Then we smelled a faint melting of burnt rubber smell...not strong but enough to get noticed. Took out all plastics continued using...smell still remained. Worried it might cause a fire. Had technician come out for $99. He did diagnostic test...everything is fine. Smell continues and now when we run dishwasher it trips its own circuit breaker. NO longer using dishwasher... Waiting for repair guy to come out on Monday. Whats the deal on a $700 dishwasher...? Is this another automobile recall crisis...? If not it will be if they cause house fires. I hope they dont! Will add comments after visit on Monday.

We bought our Bosch Ascenta Dishwasher two years ago. One year and one month to the date of purchase it quit working. Called them. They came out and fixed it. Argued with me but they fixed it. One year later, same problem. Now its out of warranty and they wont fix it. Wont even really discuss with me. How can a name brand, like Bosch, not be able to build a dishwasher that will last more than one year? Or two? And when I get customer service, how can they not care? Amazing? I asked for help and they told me to get an analysis and then UPPER MANAGEMENT will determine whether they are going to help me. Crazy. Does the president/CEO of the company have to review every single case? What a joke. I will NEVER purchase or recommend a Bosch appliance again in my life EVER.

In 2002 we purchased a Bosch dishwasher which we couldnt be happier with. At the same time we were talked into purchasing a Bosch oven which I have never liked. Temperature has always been uneven and I have needed to be sure to turn dishes during baking to cook evenly, especially baked cookies, pies and cakes. Recently, after broiling a meal, the oven just quit. The only thing working was the clock and timer. Authorized Sears service repair came out and had a lot of trouble figuring out the design schematic in the first place. He finally found a broken selector switch but was told the appliance and all repair parts have been discontinued and is unable to be repaired. An e-mail from Bosch replying to my complaint simply reiterated that the oven has been discontinued and to try ordering from discontinued parts websites. No offer to compensate or assist in locating the part, which I have been unable to find on my own. Now our home has been sold and the buyers are requesting we replace the oven, forcing us to spend upwards of $1,000 on an oven we wont be using! Buyers beware of Bosch. Customer service is useless to say the least.

This is a great dishwasher. Cleans dishes etc very well. One of the things I really like about this dishwasher is that it has a pan beneath it and if the washer leaks the dish catches it and has a sensor/valve that will shut the machine off. We bought our unit in February and had it installed in March, a month later. But the microwave component did not work from Day 1!!! We called the warranty support line and was given several repair shops to call. Some would not serve our area as we are out of the city. The third one on their list came out in April and verified that the unit was not working and needed two new parts. Upon returning to the shop, he confirmed that they would have to be ordered. Four weeks later, after hearing nothing, we called to find that the parts were not yet in. Less than a week later, now late in May, they arrived. They were installed and the unit worked on June 9th. We called to see about a warranty extension so that it would start in June rather than February. But they categorically refused. Bad unit, bad warranty service experience, bad experience with Bosch customer service.

We purchased a Bosch washing machine a few years ago and noticed that mold grows on the inside of the rubber gasket. We later found out that there is a class action suit for this machine. I called Bosch and scheduled an appointment and the man called in sick and did not show up. I took a day off from work for this repair and they let me know 20 minutes before he was scheduled to arrive. I told them that the next time if they do not give me sufficient notice I would send them a bill. I also told them since they were scheduling me for another day, that meant they were agreeing to my terms. The second time I took a day off they called and told me that the man did not have the part with him. I told them that I was sending them a bill and the woman told me that they do not reimburse people.

I contracted Apple Air to install a tankless hot water heater during a complete home renovation. The Bosch unit has had nothing but problems since we starting using it. Apple has had a technician here a dozen times and has tried replacing different parts and has had no success. The unit gets freezing cold and then scalding hot intermittently. Even the technician said he can see the codes that are appearing indicating the problem. I’ve been very patient thus far but am tired of being told “we’ll call you back” when they never do. Bosch 500 Series HBE5451UC - From installation forward the oven would not heat up to temperature. We bought it through Sears. I called Sears Repair twice. They just gave me the runaround wanting me to bake various things and keep track of how long they took to bake. Sears was not interested in my problem. Called the Bosch Service line. They gave me the name of and excellent repair service that would drive 60 miles to my home in the mountains. The repair technician evaluated the oven and found it had a bad board, I suppose circuit board. It took 3 visits from the repair tech. The wrong board was first sent. Once the correct board was installed the oven is reaching temperature. However it continues to not bake good evenly. It bakes things faster in the back of the oven than at the front. I have to watch or bread or cake will be burned in the back of the oven while still pale at the front. The baking rails are a real danger. There is only one pair of rails with the oven. I tried to buy a second pair so I could bake 2 pans at a time and they are not available. So, I tried inserting a pan without the rails. It is very dangerous!! You have to be very careful or the pan falls out and would dump its contents on the floor. So, the oven has very limited use with only one usable rack for a pan limiting how much one can back at a time. This is the 3rd wall oven we have had in this cabinet in the 40 years we have lived in the house. It is 34 inches up from the floor. Every time I open the oven it blows hot air into my face fogging my glasses. I have to step back and wait for my glasses to clear before I can check or remove whatever is baking. As a Public Health Nurse I am concerned this oven has too many safety issues and is a menace to the consumer.

We purchased in 2013 a top-of-the-line Bosch dishwasher and it is worked well until about two weeks ago, when it just died. My complaint is not the unit but with the complete lack of service that Bosch offers. The unit broke and we called for service and were told at the earliest date they can give us was some 13 days in the future. However that was not to fix the unit only to diagnose the problem. Fixing the unit would take ordering the part and then coming back to reinstall it. We circumvented this problem by calling Sears who diagnosed the problem over the phone ordered the part and was able to schedule us two days before the Bosch service team with would be coming out.As I was outraged at how long this is going to take I called Bosch to complain and they basically told me that they simply do not have enough service people in the area to take care of the products that they sell. I told customer service that this was completely unacceptable and that I would write this review. Avoid Bosch products at all costs. There are others that offer much better service.Updated on 2/14/2015:13 months into owning the unit the control panel went out. We called Bosch to fix it, they told us three weeks hence a repairman would arrive to repair the unit. Instead of waiting we called Sears with whom we have an extended warranty program to cover the unit and they came out 2 1/2 weeks after we called. During the call to analyze the problem and told us they were sending us a new control unit. The day before the visit we realized that no unit had arrived at our house so we called Sears. They told us that the request for the item was denied and they would come out and analyze the problem and order the correct parts. The repair man told us that this is ridiculous, the part shouldve been ordered and waiting for him to install it. He then analyzed the problem, decided that that was exactly the correct part and ordered it and he would be there to put it in a couple of days after it arrived. Upon returning to install the part, Bosch had only sent the cover with none of the control unit inside. The second order was placed this time for the control unit, whose arrival we are still waiting for, now 3 months since the unit broke. The moral of the story is do not buy a Bosch dishwasher unless you can afford two of them, one to keep on reserve while the first one is being fixed.
