The oven door only closed all the way in the first few months. After that, it doesnt close all the way and is only getting worse. We went online today to figure out what to do. I bought the oven Bosch HGS7282UC and it looks like many people have had this problem.

I had a Bosch refrigerator for many years and was very happy. I recently had to renew the fridge and opted to buy Bosch again, however I am very disappointed in the new design. Shelves are not the right distance apart (not allowing the stacking of such things as 2 yogurt pots) thus wasting lots of space, putting a huge draw in place of a door shelf, door shelves with a cover, the freezer is much smaller than the previous even though the external dimensions are the same. The new fridge makes lots of squeaking noises. Your designers are IDIOTS. I will be looking at another manufacturer when I change this fridge.

I purchased a Bosch cook top, oven and microwave a couple of years back. Had nothing but trouble. The first year had 3 calls on the oven. Now since January Ive had 3 calls on the microwave. Ive been without a microwave for 1 month now. Those who have a microwave will understand how inconvenient this is. Ive never had a problem with appliances in the past. The latest update: theyre waiting for parts to arrive from Germany. Buy LG, GE, Sears, whatever, that has a stock of parts in this country. You wont be sorry you did. Bosch is a piece of crap! And... you pay more for it.

I purchased this washer to replace a failing stacked washer/dryer combo. I bought the Bosch set because the dryer is ventless and this just fits my townhouse better. First off, this washer is designed to plug into the back of the matching dryer (Only one 240V outlet is needed!) So far so good with this washer's results. It is very quiet and efficient. The matching dryer, while ventless still dries VERY well. I am surprised as Bosch's claim of only 8% slower than a vented dryer seems to be very accurate. This washer is designed to fit 10-14lbs of laundry per load and I can attest this is accurate and is efficient while washing and drying. The dryer will take some getting used to and messing around with the proper settings but once you figure it out it's a cinch! This is an absolutely GREAT product.

The oven has had major issues and it is only 2 years old. The door has never been able to close completely shut since day one. In first year the computer unit broke. Now, beginning of second year and the ocean doesnt turn on. I will never purchase a Bosch product again. They say nothing is covered and they are not responsible for anything. Completely disgusted. Looks like I have to purchase a new stove, for it is not safe and is costing too much money in repair bills.

My Dishwasher was purchased April 2011, about 1 1/2 years ago it started to stay on for about 3 mins and then go off, so it didnt turn on the first try, then the issue started to get worse, it is up to 10 tries before it goes on. We are very frustrated, maybe I am naive but I was counting on this dishwasher working for at least 5 years.Model Number SHX68E05UC/25 - Before this dishwasher I owned a lower end Bosch dishwasher, the only reason we changed it was because this one was quieter and had the sanitizing feature. I so regret getting it, this dishwasher was manufactured in Germany, with German Engineering etc, but their warranty sucks, they do not stand behind their product. I guess it is all about the money and all lies behind the product hype. I demand satisfaction, we the consumers should not have to fork out more money to repair a defective product. I checked online and it is supposed to be warrantied for 5 years, yet Bosch service warranty says only the timer part is warrantied for 5 years but not the service to install it. Seriously should I throw my dishwasher out after 2 years and purchase a new one?? I want and demand satisfaction for the product I was sold.

New home purchase with Bosch dishwasher and I have always heard good things about them....Wrong! The rack does not connect to the door and falls out all the time...breaking dishes! I cant believe Bosch would allow this, as it is a major problem! I get angry every time I load and unload the darn thing and would never purchase another no matter how well it would clean! It does a decent job cleaning but if the dishes break, whats the point?

I bought an entire Bosch kitchen last summer. I was cleaning last month and noticed rust and pitting on the door of the fridge. I called Bosch and they asked me to send in pictures to file a claim, so I did my best to show the pitting in the pictures but the surface glare made it difficult. About 2 weeks after I sent in my official claim email I get a response (the initial receipt of the email said I would hear back within 5 business days).Bosch informs me that rust is a surface cosmetic issue and not covered under the warranty so I call to ask if they saw that there were holes in the stainless door. They said it all looked like surface rust and could be cleaned off. But they were willing to give me 25% off if I want to replace the door. I spent about 10 minutes talking before asking for a supervisor. Talking with the supervisor I was able to get them to send a technician to diagnose if there are actually holes. May 17th: technician confirms that there is uncleanable pitting in the stainless steel door.Today: May 31st (2weeks since diagnosis) I get a call that they will pay for the parts of the door as a goodwill gesture but not for the labor of the replacement. So they admit that their product is bad but wont actually pay to replace it, instead trying to frame it as they are doing me a favor. Absolutely horrendous service, to admit that the door is flawed and provide a new door but make me pay for the labor to replace it (~200$). This has officially been the worst customer service experience I have ever experienced. The representatives were defensive and unwilling to take responsibility for their faulty product. I will never again buy a Bosch appliance and Ill also be sure that no one else does if I can help it.

I purchased a $1,600 Bosch dishwasher with the hope of owning a top rated and performing dishwasher. Wrong! This dishwasher has been nothing but trouble. At 8 months, it leaked profusely and caused $4,000 in damage to the kitchen in my 2 year old house. I live in Florida and this caused mold, which required remediation and the replacement of a kitchen cabinet. The pain of messing up my beautiful new home in addition to the loss of use of a dishwasher for 4 months. Their insurance company did pay, but my inconvenience and exposure to the mold was not even considered. The next year, the power cord was recalled due to fires. A backorder for the part took one month. Last month, the drain pump failed and another 3 weeks of no dishwasher. All told, this dishwasher has been out of commission for almost 5 months. Bosch’s Reply is, The dishwasher is out of warranty, so take it up with your extended warranty. What about Bosch’s obligation to provide the customer with the goods that they paid for? Did I mention how rude the customer service reps are? Bosch needs to own up to their shortcomings and be fair to the consumer. Lemons happen and they need to correct the situation with a new product. Don’t hold your breath!

I bought my dream kitchen’s appliances all BOSCH on July 8, 2013: the worst decision!!! The microwave does not heat evenly! I use the MW primarily to heat a cup of milk. I set it for one and a half minutes, and what happens? It scorches the top of the milk, to the point it boils over the cup while the bottom of the cup is warm at best. I called their customer service, had a technician come and his response: The MW is working properly... please refer to page X in the user manual where it says to stop the heating midway through and mix the liquid for optimal heating. Really? I think a cheapo MW does better. That is plain wrong! I had never had issues with any other MW... and this is what they say? This is ridiculous. DO NOT BUY BOSCH period. I thought I was making a good decision, but I regret it every day. Having odor issues with an 800 series dishwasher. Stick to GE! It could be all made in China, but at least its a product used by the masses, and as such statistically the number of defects will be very few. And price wise... theyre almost the same.

The worst dishwasher ever made. My father went through Consumer Reports for the best model of dishwasher to get — the Bosch one was in the top 5. This dishwasher was made for international living not for the American ways of life - busy schedules and raising a family. This dishwasher as with all Bosch dishwashers have a smell that rivals rotting meat. You can’t get rid of the odor it comes back time and time again. It also is extremely difficult to navigate. Dishwashers are to be user friendly. Not hard to figure out. I am not alone in this review. Many others feel the same way.

I have been using Bosch Dishwashers since 1986. I purchased my first Bosch Dishwasher while living in Rauenberg Germany. Had no problem with the machine. On my return to Canada in 1993 I kept the machine, had to have a 220 line installed in house to use machine. In 2013 decided to buy another Bosch machine. I quickly found out there is a difference in quality of machines made in Germany than the ones in North America. I have had nothing but problems with my new Bosch Model SHE3ARF2UC/08 SilencePlus 50 dBA. Every month once or twice a month the machine would not drain. Saying blockage of drain. Dishes are washed off prior to been placed in machine. Problem still persisting. This is a regular problem with this machine. Time to look for another brand. Had enough of this problem. Costly.

Bought the dishwasher (SHX7PT55UC) 2 years ago from Airport Appliance. From the start, the dishwashers lower rack came off the track and the dishwasher did not clean the dishes. I had Bosch come out two times. The first time, I was informed that the installation was done backwards. They said they fixed it but its never cleaned well unless its on the most aggressive cycle. The rack still comes off the track constantly. One of the worst problems is that this dishwasher takes all color off my dishes and makes all cups totally dull. I hate it. Never again will I have anything Bosch. Bosch = BAD! Ive had Bosch repair people out twice. Plus, they dont stand by their product. Terrible customer service.

We purchased a Bosch dishwasher 1 year ago. Within a month the door started popping open during the wash cycle. I called Bosch customer service and they set up a repair. They know there is a problem so they have a replacement kit called a latch stiffener. Well everything worked fine for the summer months when we return from our six months in Florida. I use the dishwasher another month and the same things started happening. I called customer service and talk to the same woman that I had spoken to last summer. She is very nice and very helpful and tried her damnedest to get me a replacement dishwasher. The company told her since there had only been one repair they could not replace the dishwasher that I would have to have a second repair done on it. So that is scheduled for next week but I also had her note in my account that this is the second repair on the same dishwasher for the same problem as I am now out of warranty. There are only two of us in the house so the dishwasher does not get run that often. When it does work it cleans the dishes nicely and it is very quiet. I agree the racks are not the greatest and they do fall off the track and you have to look them up to try to get them back on but that I can deal with. Running 8 minutes and having the door pop open is not acceptable.

I have a washing machine and it has PCB malfunction. The repair technician visited 9 days ago and ordered the parts from Bosch. Since Bosch has monopoly of the repair services, the parts are not available in open market. Hence no one except for the Bosch can repair the machine. Now I have to rely on Bosch to fix the machine at a cost dictated by Bosch. It has already been 15 days my washing machine is not working. Something terribly dysfunctional about Bosch and how they treat customers. After receiving several marketing letters pushing that I purchase a service plan because my warranty had expired, I agreed and sent a check. When my dishwasher broke I contacted Bosch and filed a maintenance request. After 10 days of silence from Bosch, I called and was told that my request would not be honored because I was still under warranty. I then contacted the service department and was told to send a copy of my purchase receipt, which I did. After another 10 days of silence, I again contacted Bosch and was told that the person handling my case had been in “training” and I should send a picture of my defective part... which I did. Again total silence from Bosch!Does anyone work at Bosch? The only efficient thing they do is cash my check. Why would they send marketing material imploring that I purchase a service plan when I’m still under warranty? The material specifically warns that my warranty had expired. Then when I ask for servicing they ignore my request then decline to honor their contract. I’ll never buy Bosch again.

I recently purchased a home that came with a 2015 Bosch dishwasher. I had Miele dishwashers for the past 20 years and a always extremely satisfied. Always cleaned well and never had any bad odor. I assumed Bosch would be similar quality. I was sadly MISTAKEN! From day 1 I noticed it did not clean nearly as well. First we started making sure all dishware was put in perfectly aligned. Never overlapping, then we began rinsing the dishes more than we ever had in the past, then we tried changing detergent, then we put the machine to the heavy and sanitize settings, still every time we unload... I have to scrub, rinse or polish the dishes, glassware or cutlery. What a pain. My sister in law complained a few years ago that she found her Bosch appliances awful, I figured she wasn’t “treating“ them properly. Now I understands what she means. In the end it is not a good product and can never be compared to Miele.

We purchased 3 Bosch appliances when we built our house 6 years ago. The dishwasher and microwave are up to par. All appliances are working. However, our 30 BOSCH gas range is experiencing rust spots on the lower drawer and around the main door. The enamel has come off part of the top of the range. I know from past experience with another dishwasher in my previous custom home, which Sears stood behind, that had rust spots on the door panel. The repairman actually said its a knock off from China and this is not stainless steel. I will say that my opinion is this is the same problem with the Bosch oven. Most people know that magnets do not stick to stainless steel. Well, start testing! Magnet sticks to my stainless steel dishwasher, microwave, range door and range lower drawer which means the appliances are NOT stainless steel. The magnet does not stick to my LG refrigerator which is 10 years old so it is true stainless steel. Since BOSCH and the store I purchase it from advertised these products are stainless steel, I paid for stainless steel. Customer service is not up to par. The customer service rep and a supervisor talked about my business to my cleaning lady as she called them to defend her use of cleaning products as BOSCH tech said my cleaning products must contain bleach. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB, Attorney General as I feel this is false advertisement. and to BOSCH, I am glad you recorded the conversation with my cleaning lady as you had no right to speak with her about my business and to make her an offer on my range of 20% off. It cleans OK but lacks a good drying feature. I had a lower model previously and it worked much better than this higher end one. Silverware is still dirty at times, pans and glasses still wet. I love the light at the bottom showing its on because it is so quiet. It has a 3rd shelf, a variety of ways to arrange dishes by either leaving the tines up or down. It seems to be smaller than the older models. Very sleek, hidden controls. The light at the bottom showing it is on almost bleeds across the floor. Purchased a dishwasher and oven in 2007. The DW was rated #1 and environmentally friendly... Its not ... It requires expensive rinse agents and it doesnt clean the dishes. The heating elemental either never worked or broke just outside of the 1-year-warranty. We had purchased the extended warranty so at least they fixed it.... But it still cost that added $150 bucks. The convection oven was also $1000 and doesnt cook several trays of cookies perfectly as advertised...not worth the money. Two years ago the main computer module fell off the back... The glue dried out that held it in place. Thankfully we jerry-rigged it back. Now the oven door wont close properly, so the oven turns itself off. We called for service and they said the part is $240 plus $150 for labor. I called customer service to see if they could help out... Nope... They blame me... This oven has a control panel with loads of stupid features, timer, Sabbath mode, clock (with year, month, date - who cares!!!) and so on. Its just an oven! Nobody needs that stuff. The control panel is the root of all thats wrong with the oven - if Bosch had just made the oven with power on off, temperature dial, light switch and convection fan on/off, Im sure itd work forever. Not now, the control panel has always been wonky, insisting on setting the time before you can turn on the oven! Now it refuses to accept time changes, thus rendering the oven inoperable. Lunacy. Bosch Energy Star tankless hot water heater refused to start. 45-minute wait for tech help. Every fix they told me to try failed. Average time on the phone each time 1 hr 45 min. I went through the same dog and pony show each time. I was told to purchase a $50.00 part at their authorized parts house. Part out of stock. It took 15 days with express shipping. The part did not cure the problem. By this time we have gone one month without hot water (in the winter in Idaho). They stonewalled us at every turn. I finally talked to a female in sales who told me I didnt know what I was doing. In frustration I ripped out the Bosch and replaced it with a Rinnai tankless. What a nice unit - problem-free.And when you call, there is no wait, and their techs listen and answer each point. Not the negative attitude you get from Bosch. My best friend had similar experience with his Bosch dishwasher. Neither of us will ever purchase anything from BOSCH. As a note, yesterday I went to the auto parts to get an in-tank fuel pump for my Corvette. Needless to say, I didn’t buy the Bosch. I purchased the more expensive Delco. I also let them know why.

A brand new dishwasher bought from a local major appliance store installed
A brand new dishwasher bought from a local major appliance store installed by a licensed contractor in a kitchen remodel project malfunctioned just outside the regular warranty period from Bosch. Bosch solicited me through email and regular mail of an extended warranty which I accepted. Prior to signing up, I actually spoke directly to a real person/sales representative of the company about the eligibility for repairs under the extended warranty. I was told yes very affirmatively. They took my money and then advised that I could not call in my first repair service for the first month. So I waited patiently and finally called in for repairs. They denied the warranty service by citing pre-existing condition. Im mad. I tried to explain that it is a condition which had deteriorated over time (washing cycle not completing in different stages) which I had explained to the sales rep from the beginning. Bosch misled me, took my money and made me wait a month to make the first claim only to deny it. Im so disgusted with the whole process that I just want my money back and take my business elsewhere or buy a new dishwasher from another manufacturer. They are not giving my money back so Im venting my frustration. Im so upset that I have to deal with dirty dishes for a month when I could have just go out and buy a new dishwasher. The dishwasher is an expensive model: SHP65TL5UC. I regretted that I also purchased other major kitchen appliances from this company. Dont buy Bosch!!!

Bosch are terrible products and there customer service is even worse. We bought a new house and it came with Bosch appliances. After living in the house for 2.5 years the refrigerator’s water filter broke and then the fridge stopped cooling. This happened at the best possible time. I just had my second child who is now one month old child, my mother and father in-law are visiting as well as my brother and sister in-law with their two kids. Bosch only allows for factory service people to inspect the machine. On the list of 4 in my area, Palo Alto 3 dont deal with refrigeration units. I was able to get someone to come out in two days to look at this. Keep in mind when you have a 1 month old child, milk and formula must be kept cold and they need to be fed every 3 hrs. The factory tech said the problem was a leak in the coolant. He cant guarantee the fix because they cant fix all leaks, but since the fridge is out of warranty the repair will cost $900. Keep in mind I went to Home Depot and bought a fridge out of necessity for my garage, GE, $400.I asked Bosch if they could work with me on the repair or discount a new fridge. If they would Id buy Bosch and be a loyal customer. They said youre out of warranty so we wont do anything for you. Huge inconvenience factor and they just dont care about the customer.

I purchased this Bosch dishwasher and had it installed by a licensed contractor in Sept 2015. I immediately noticed that the dishes were not clean and neither is the silverware. If you use the most powerful setting, sometimes they get clean IF I prewash everything. I find it ironic that this dishwasher is so quiet because it isnt doing the job. I would never purchase another machine from Bosch. I will go back to Whirlpool which cleaned large loads with no problems. The configuration of the racks is horrible. Cannot fit very many things in this dishwasher. I hate this dishwasher and it wasnt cheap.

I completed a kitchen renovation and purchased a Bosch refrigerator. When it was unwrapped, the right door was severely damaged. Bosch suggested a new door rather than a new refrigerator and I agreed. We are now 2 months later and I’m told the production of the door is not until 9/18/21 and they have no idea when they will replace the door. Lewis was very irritated when I tried to get a definitive answer as to the install date. These are not cheap appliances and I guess I expected better customer service. If negative stars were possible they have sincerely earned it. We spent nearly 11,000 dollars in appliances and the combination wall oven microwave has never worked correctly. Bosch has tried and failed to fix the appliance three times. I have spent over 12 hours on the phone with Bosch, most of it on hold, trying to rectify this situation. I have asked for assistance to get the appliances replaced to no avail. On 1/3/18 they came and fixed the appliance for the third time. This fix was to replace the touch panel because the second trip to the house the technician replaced it with the wrong touch panel. When that technician was questioned about it he said, “That’s the right one for your oven” instead of holding the two next to each other to determine that it was in fact the wrong one. Then a different technician came to replace that touch panel with the correct one. That one, on the first use came up with fault codes saying that the electrical was too hot. Ten minutes later another code came on that says communication error now the oven won’t come on at all. I called to request that the appliances be taken out of my house and explained to them my concerns of faulty wiring. I also told them of my concerns of fire hazard and having my newly built home burned down. The representative told me that it needed to go to management and that I would be contacted in 24-48 hours. I was not contacted and after 72 hours I called them back to find out the first representative didn’t even send my file to management. I explained the situation and was told that it would have to go to management. I then asked to be transferred to management because I had no faith that I would be contacted. I was finally transferred to an “escalation manager” who was unable to help me and she transferred me to the “escalation supervisor” named Shawn. Shawn then explained to me that they would never refund my money for the appliances and that I was stuck them, but they might be able to replace the oven. I had already been told by two representatives that refunding the appliances was a possibility only to be told by this extremely unprofessional representative named Shawn that was not an option. He then told me it would have to go to management and I would be contacted in 24-48 hours. I cannot stress enough my displeasure with everything about Bosch most of all by their customer service. They are absolutely one hundred percent unprofessional hacks that will never get my business again. I will never buy anything with a Bosch affiliation again. Horrible company, horrible employees, and horrible products. Save yourself from this overpriced trash.

Next, I noticed I had to rewash many of the dishes. There are always food particles on most of the dishes. We had the machine for 9 months and the part on the front of the machine leaked and ruined my hardwood floors and damaged my family room ceiling. Three years ago, I purchased a stackable washer and dryer for my condominium. Since I had limited space for these products, I chose Bosch. Now, the dryer stopped working so I call a repair service. $450.00 later, the unit still does not work. I called directly to Bosch to see what they could do about my problem. They sent a tech to review the problem and he diagnosed it as a failed control module. Bosch wanted me to pay for the service and the part which would have been another $300.00 or so. To total this cost so far ($750) if I replaced the part is not a good idea because I could get a new dryer for about $800.00. I feel that Bosch product is inferior and service is zero. As a small business owner, I think this is disgraceful. I stand behind my products and service and incur extra service costs when I have to. Even though it sometimes erases my profit on the job, I always take care of my customers. This is a big company and can well afford to take care of their customers in a proper manner.

I am surprised by the negative reviews here. I have owned this dryer for over a year and my experience has been very positive. Coming from a conventional, vented gas dryer, I expected long, slow drying times but did not get this at all. We changed from large, conventional washer and dryer to the European-sized models so we don't cram every possible piece of dirty clothes into one load. I typically run 4-5 smaller loads per week: dark, light, white, towels and jeans, and dress shirts. This dryer does a great job of drying all these clothes types, especially if you take advantage of the special settings. For me, the key is to remove clothes immediately at the end of the cycle. This is true of all dryers, IMO, but especially with this one. It *does* leave a small amount of residual moisture in the clothing, depending on setting. If you pull clothes out while they're warm, then fold or hang immediately, almost all the wrinkles disappear without ironing. If I have one complaint, it's that the dryer only rotates one direction. This means very large items (california king sheets, for instance) can get tangled and not dry evenly. There is one MAJOR advantage to this dryer. Living in a drought-prone area, I put the drain hose into a bucket and recover one to two gallons of water from each load that I use to irrigate my garden. Clean clothes, happy tomatoes. What's not to love?

However, he was not able to come out for service until the following week. I called back the customer service number again and the individual was willing to order the control unit but the computer system was down and I would have to call back on Monday. I purchased an Energy Star Bosch dishwasher about two years ago. It runs quietly but my main complaint is that even when I use the power wash cycle (which I always use now), the dishes just dont come out clean. I need to practically wash them before I load them in. And then after the cycle is finished, the glasses on the top rack always have food remnants on and in them. Also, the dishes sometimes are still dirty in places. I think that being an Energy Star appliance, quality and efficiency have been compromised for the sake of conserving water and electricity. In addition it probably costs me more money to pre-wash the dishes before I put them in the dishwasher! I also find that the silverware rack is in the wrong place. The silverware catches on the side making the rack stick when you pull it out. It also is on the other side of the dishwasher when loading. Let me start by saying I have lived in 2 apartments with a combined total of 6 Bosch appliances, 3 of which have failed. In my old apartment, we had the Axxis Washer and Dryer (top/bottom) units. The dryer never dried. After numerous service calls which my landlord paid for, it finally worked. The washer also leaked water extensively, causing the hardwood floor boards to come up.In my new apartment, we have the exact same washer and dryer which have worked fine. Problem? The cooktop and oven. Both failed the same exact month. The cooktop igniter would not stop clicking and the electric oven would not heat, even though it was receiving power and all else functioned. I had a technician from Bosch who came to diagnose. He knew less about ovens than he did English. Could not understand a word he said. He fussed around with the cooktop for an hour and proclaimed some part to be broken. Cost? $800. Are you for real? The cooktop NEW is $700. As for the oven, he claimed the element needed replacement. Cost? $1000. I kicked him out of my house and they still billed me $160 for the service call. Bosch, you are the absolute worst. I will never buy an appliance from you again.

The same day (evening), my wife came the house to try the dishwasher—same problem. I called Bosch again and they sent back the same tech. Why doesn’t he know his own product? He was constantly on the phone with his supervisor. After he said what the problem was and that it cannot be fixed, he left. I called Bosch again and asked them what we planed to do. Rep from Bosch Home said that they switched company that’s making control panels for them and said that they will not be able to help me! I asked him if you are representing Bosch as a company with a big name and said this is not my problem if they change vendors. I cannot buy every 4 years a new dishwasher based on them saving on vendors! Also, I recommended him to just refund my $305 for the job that was never done. Customer service at Bosch refused to help me at all. Now, I am out of $305 and my dishwasher is still not working. I have to spend more money to buy a new dishwasher! I thought getting a top-of-the-line Bosch dishwasher the answer to my dreams but the reality is that my glassware and cups come out with many spots on them and it does not hold a lot. It is very quiet which is good but it has a long cycle time which is not.

My experience has been sooo baddd with Bosch customer service. So, we build our home and one my friend recommend me to get Bosch Appliances so I did. I order my kitchen appliances with bosch back in May. I didnt received my appliances in July so I couldnt do closing on time due to not having my appliances and get inspection done before I moved to my new home. Which I was like okay due to Covid I understand. Here is the worst part. So the day I closed on my home and start using my appliance. Happen to find out that my Microwave and my dishwasher is not working. Brand new out of box. So I called bosch customer service in July the day after I closed on my new house and explained them the both appliances are not working.I was given a number to call for service repair which I did and they told me 3 weeks wait for them to come out due to COVID which again I was okay no problem. Its COVID. Understandable. They came to my house after 3 weeks and told me that they have to order part for microwave and suggested me to call bosch customer to replace it because it would make more sense since he visited cost $1246 this time and next time would be about same and told me that if he doesnt hear back from bosch he will be back in 3 weeks again. So I called Bosch back and explain the whole thing. I was told they made ticket (wrong ticket where they combined microwave and dishwasher) and the rep told me they send the ticket to management to review and will send the replacement.I called after 2 weeks AGAIN and the rep told me that they didnt proper format from the service company so I make three way call and explain them that bosch need special format for exchange. Service provider send it to bosch and bosch rep was like, Yup got it. Since bosch didnt reach out to me or the company the service guy came and said he have to order another part and will be back 2 weeks again. This visit was again $1246. So I called bosch again and find out whats going on and went through the same thing report format is not acceptable by management company. At this point, we paid $2800 for service and I bought this microwave around $1800.00. Didnt understand why bosch didnt see that because he will back again and will cost another $1200.00 so at this point we paid double than what microwave cost. So I called again a week later is same story. They dont have the proper format from the service provider. So here I am stuck with microwave because I can return it anymore since my purchase month was in May and here I am still waiting for bosch management to review in End Of August. The worst customer service ever. I called them more than 10 times since July to August and stayed on the phone for more than 2 hours going around and around. Every time I called my phone timed was more than 2 hours.

When we went shopping for a dishwasher, we want that first of all got the dishes clean without rinsing and it had to be quiet. We bought a Bosch and my friends & family can’t believe how well it works. It’s fantastic. It gets everything so clean and we forget it’s running because it is so quiet. We recommend it to everyone who comes over.

My Bosch dishwasher smells. Bought at Best Buy. I see another review June 2016 a few days ago has the exact same issue. It smells no matter what I do. I wish I had not bought it. The Bosch company was kind and offered to send a technician for free, but I see other reviewers have the same issue with no solution. It just plain stinks after each wash, even after cleaning the filter after every wash, using the recommended brand of detergent pods, and paying more for cleaning fluid every couple weeks. My dishes stink, especially the glasses. When I drink, it smells like dead fish in my water glasses.

It does not seem to dry outside well inside. I leave the door open at times to help it dry out. All other dishwashers I have had, have dried out inside when the dishes were dried. The dishwasher is so quiet, I sometimes have to check to make sure it is running, even though the buttons on the front tells me it is!

My wonderful Bosch dishwasher recently stopped dispensing the detergent. Since its under warranty, I have followed all the required steps and jumped through the requested hoops, but have discovered that Bosch obviously does not offer service in our area. Over the past week I have spent 2 hours and 47 minutes on the phone (most of it on hold), been disconnected (with no return call from them) 3 times, and have emailed with no response twice. I have a file number now due to the concerns about no service provider in our area, but that seems to be simply a pacifier, since it has proven to provide nothing. Bosch service is THE worst!

I dont recommend the Bosch stackable dryer. Drying sheets is a pain since the dryer rolls them up in a ball; if you dont shake them out every few minutes, the inside stays damp. The sensor doesnt work, so you have to keep adding time to the dryer. And things take much longer to dry than they should. The dryer I have is new; I was very happy with my 15-year-old dryer and thought a new one would be an upgrade. I was very badly mistaken.

I loved my Bosch dishwasher (Silence Plus 48 dBA Dishwasher) when I first got it. It was so quiet and did a great job. Two years in and just out of warranty, it needed a $300.00 repair because water was leaking out the bottom. Now, two years after that, it wont stop draining, even with the door open. A repairman confirmed what I thought, water was leaking into the subtray so the float wouldnt drop to allow the machine to function. He found a break in the water valve and told me the problem is a common one. I wont be buying any Bosch appliance again.

Our Bosch dishwasher, model #SHE43P22UC/64, has so far had no issues cleaning but we have had to replace the plastic control panel 3 times and it is broke again. Apparently, opening the dishwasher is too much for it to handle and it continually cracks and pulls off of the dishwasher. Have had to tape it together for right now because the cost of repairing it again is just too costly for the labor and service call. Will never buy a Bosch again. They arent worth the extreme expense and they dont stand by their products nor do they respond to complaints.

Bosch dishwashers have a circuit board that according to all the repair persons Ive talked to simply go out after a certain number of loads. A circuit board manufacturing engineer told me after looking at the part that the Bosch cost is about $17 to build it. The repairmen want between $250 to $350 to replace the board that Bosch sells to them for $150. 5 cycle, all the bells and whistles. Deep floor, thin walled, big as you can fit in std space. Bosch make beautiful stainless fronts. Negotiate a 2nd circuit board with your purchase, you will need it soon. Its precisely designed to fail at 3 yrs normal use.

We bought a BOSCH washing machine on 7th May 2018 from our nearest dealer in Anchal, Kollam (Dist), Kerala. They delivered the product on same day evening as informed us to company executive will come within 24 hours or maximum 48 hours for installation and demo. We were waiting from 56 hours or more and none of the company executives or service person contacted us. When we called customer care and dealer they are just saying executive will come soon. You need wait again and again. If they are not able to do this simple installation & demo for new customer in timely manner, how do they handle service complaints and technical issues!!! We feel that BOSCH company is not caring about their customer service and they just want to dispose their products and they dont have any concern about service after sale. As per our experience, We do not recommend anymore their products.

We purchased a new Bosch built-in dishwasher in December to replace our 13 year old GE profile dishwasher. The GE worked great but the gaskets needed replacing $120. Each. So I decided to buy a new Bosch, what a mistake. I called Home Depot and they said they would have taken it back however I would have to pay my plumber to take it out, return it to store and pay him to re-install it. Well, that didnt happen... When I then called Bosch and complained about new Bosch dishwasher that (Didnt clean dishes or silverware) and (smelled awful) the young lady said my plumber must not have installed a trap (wrong). And never addressed the dirty dishes in and dirty dishes out!!!! My wife and I hate this machine and if this company doesnt rectify it for us no one in our family will ever use this product again (Sales come from consumers, referrals come from consumers, positive vs. Negative feedback also from consumers. 46 years never a problem w/ G.E...

I have all 800 series appliances from Bosch that are all just 4 years old. Refrigerator is noisy, plastic shelves are cheap and break easily, and shelf spacing is limited - its hard to fit a gallon of milk in. Dishwasher: was very quiet and now sounds like there is a heavy storm in the kitchen when it is running. Plus the racks are weird and dont hold dishes well. You end up washing half loads all the time because otherwise plates touch each other in the rack. Double ovens: my wife sloshed some chicken drippings on the glass door when unloading it and the grease got between the glass panels. I called Bosch about the oven door issue and my warranty was up by sixty days and they refused to fix this under warranty. I have never had problems with appliances before (GE Hotpoint; Kenmore). I paid top buck for an All Bosch kitchen. Its all junk.

I bought a Bosch refrigerator because I absolutely LOVE my Bosch dishwasher
I bought a Bosch refrigerator because I absolutely LOVE my Bosch dishwasher. I paid $2000.00 and the icemaker/water dispenser was defective the day it was delivered. That entire unit had to be replaced, which took a month. Less than 3 months later, the icemaker conked out again and had to be repaired. The culprit this time was a frozen fill tube. This was in June 2015. In October/November 2015, the icemaker started overfilling at random times. In December 2015, the icemaker simply quit functioning altogether. I called Bosch on 12/16/15 to report the problem -- third time with the icemaker -- and requested they just replace the refrigerator, as it is obviously defective. Also, Bosch could not even schedule a repair for the refrigerator until 01/04/15, and the warranty expires on 02/15/2015. I have never had any major appliance experience problems within the first year of service, let alone be delivered defective. The rep. told me shed forward the complaint to management and I should get a decision by the end of business. No one called me that day, or the next day, or the next day, either. So I called them back and had to wait more than 30 minutes before getting a live representative, who told me that managements decision -- which had been made the day before -- was that I should just get the unit repaired again for the third time for the same issue, and that if and when it happened AGAIN, THEN theyd consider replacing the refrigerator. As I pointed out, this would MOST LIKELY occur AFTER THE WARRANTY EXPIRED, so I would be on the hook for the cost of repairs by that point. The rep. assured me that Bosch would simply extend the warranty, based on my documented repair history. (Yeah, when pigs fly.) I requested to speak to a supervisor, but none were available. When I said I would file a complaint, the representative threatened to release the line -- hang up on me. This was after I had spent more than 45 minutes just that day on the phone trying to resolve this issue with BOSCH. I would never consider buying another BOSCH refrigerator in my entire life. This is the only refrigerator I have ever bought in the last forty-four years that has EVER given me any problems. Unbelievable. Dont buy one. LEMON.

Dishwasher is three years old. The door does not latch. If is held shut by a magnet. If the machine vibrates at all, the door opens and the machine stops. You have to go in and push the door shut, again. Sometimes, it goes through the entire cycle down to 1 minute, and then runs forever, constantly reheating the water. I cannot leave the house when the machine is on. I have had the serviceman out 4 times, and he refuses to come out any more. Boschs solution to my problem? Use less soap. Never again. It is a piece of crap - and expensive, too.
