I bought a fridge with an ice maker in the fridge. For the first 8 months the ice maker made 120 to 150 small cubes of ice daily and worked to my satisfaction. Then the ice production dropped to about 40 to 50 cubes daily. After almost a dozen service calls the unit was replaced with a new fridge. For about 8 months the second unit worked as described in the manual making 120 to 150 small cubes in a 24 hour period. Again the ice production dropped to 30 to 40 cubes daily. This time after 3 service calls from 2 different companies I was told by Frigidaire that the unit is working properly and the ice maker is only a convenience and they have left me hanging with an ice maker that does not produce ice. The technician that came out said the ice maker temp was 28 degrees and too warm. Should be 9 degrees. Frigidaire tech support said it is working properly so I got hung out with nothing.I wrote the CEO Mr. Shaw and his assistant called me and said nothing they can do and Mr. Shaw does not even know there is an issue because he gets screened from everything. I will never purchase another Frigidaire product. A friend has the same unit with the same issue. There is a design flaw but instead of making good on it Frigidaire changed the specs and now it makes 30 to 40 ice cubes daily.

I bought a new house 2 years ago with a kitchen full of Frigidaire Professional Series appliances. Recently the oven convection fan started to sound like an aircraft engine. The entire fan assembly had been replaced along with the motor; it now only sounds like a semi truck in my kitchen. The repair tech called Frigidaire from my house and was told that is the way it is so shell have to live with it. This is the third appliance that has been problematic. The gas range burners still dont work properly, after 3 attempts to repair. After only one year, I replaced the dishwasher with a Bosch, which I love. There will never be another Frigidaire appliance in my house.

Stove came with a twelve-month warranty, and the oven failed to heat at thirteen months. It cost more for repairs than the stove originally cost - but at least we had home warranty coverage. Still had the $100 deductible.

We bought a new Frigidaire range and the oven door handle fell off right after one year warranty. The problem is, we seldom use oven, at most 20 times a year. And it conveniently broke after one year warranty. Yesterday, the entire oven outer door with glass fell off while nobody used range at the time. It was scary, especially since we have young children walking by. Bad workmanship. Horrible experience!

As a result of an inability to control freezer temperature, food in freezer
As a result of an inability to control freezer temperature, food in freezer got freezer burn and in fridge any beverages next to freezer wall got ice in them. Service company, Anderson Appliance of Pensacola, was very responsive and tried replacing all electronics to no avail. After replacing two boards and reprogramming them, they declared it a defective refrigerator and put me in contact with Frigidaire warranty. At first this was a very frustrating process as they only wanted to replace it with the replacement for that model which would not match the finish on the 3 appliances we bought at the same time while building our custom home. We expected that any replacement provided would have to match the other Frigidaire appliance we bought less than 6 months before.I wound up calling and getting another warranty representative who was sympathetic to our issue and immediately had the supervisor upgrade us to the only refrigerator with the same finish at no cost to us. Juanique and Matt ** were very helpful in quickly resolving our issue and following up to ensure that the vendor we bought the refrigerator from ordered our replacement and did not charge us for it. Although it took a long time to get the initial approval, once I found the right staff in the warranty department, our new refrigerator was delivered within a few weeks. We love the new refrigerator which holds its temperature in both compartments and are thankful that Frigidaire helped us resolve this issue to our satisfaction.

FEB27S5DBB Wall Oven temperature set point runaway. Oven could not be shut off at control panel (off/on) button. Oven temperature continued runaway exceeding 500F and climbing. Had to trip electrical breaker to shutdown oven. Frigidaire failed to acknowledge unsafe design could have burned down my house. They would not take responsibility for cost of repairs which was $450.00.

Grab a bag of popcorn and get ready... I bought the dishwasher, back in Mar
Grab a bag of popcorn and get ready... I bought the dishwasher, back in March 2016 from the local Home Depot store for my remodeled kitchen. The unit worked perfect for the first 10 to 11 months. Note, I dont have any kids and the unit did get used a lot. Maybe 2 times a month. Around Jan/Feb 2017 the unit began to leak from under the door. I called the company & explained to them in detail the problem. They set me up with a 3rd party service repairman (contracted out) by their choice. This guy arrives a week later. He had to be about 80 some years old. I had to help him off the floor, as he couldnt get up on his own. He told me he thought he knew what the problem was, would order a part, & get back to me. About 2 weeks went by and never heard from this guy, at least to update me. I called him & politely left him a few messages, and he never returned my calls. I called Frigidaire and told them the same. They called the repair guy and got back to me & said he was backed up with other customers. I told Frigidaire, thats no excuse not to at least return my calls. I asked for another service company and they agreed, but it wasnt easy. The other service company came a week later. It took this service company a total of 6 visits over 2 to 3 months to try and diagnose the problem at which by the 3rd visit the service repairman said, this unit is unrepairable but Frigidaire is going to make me try and do everything possible before a replacement, thats how shady they are. At the 5th visit while the repairman was trying to fix the unit, he had Frigidaire Corporate Repair Center on speaker phone. They suggested to the repairman (as I overheard the conversation) that to go ahead and find parts from a different model or dishwasher company and start replacing the customers dishwasher parts with them. I started to flip. The repairman said we are not going that route. Thats like taking parts of a 1990 junk car and putting them on a 2017 Caddy. LMFAO. So just think what kind of replacement appliances Frigidaire sends to customers. HMMM. OBVIOUSLY NOT BRAND NEW ONES.Finally, after the 6th service call Frigidaire replaced the unit on May 12, 2017. It arrived and was set up. It worked for the first few hours/day. The next morning I got up and ran a cycle following the directions precisely. Guess what? It leaked. LMFAO. I called the company back told them about the problem. The company was really rude and ignorant on the phone with me. I told them I dont have time for another 6 service calls with my job, etc. Furthermore, I dont want a replacement unit, just my money back as the unit was nearly $675. I told them I wanted to take my business elsewhere. A day later, another corporate bigwig called me and said we will deliver you a 3rd unit without repairing the 2nd one. I thought, well, Ill hope for the best, even though this is not what I wanted. A week after Memorial Day my 3rd unit arrives. It was set up by their 3rd party contractor. They turned it on and BAM, the piece of junk malfunctioned and started to leak. The 3rd party company assured me it was not on my end as far as plumbing, etc, as I already had all this looked at. The 3rd party company (who Frigidaire pays) educated me, the consumer, that they are taking my 2nd unit and leaving the 3rd unit at my house and on the paper statement writing 3rd unit set up properly, malfunctioning/leaking. The 3rd party company told me to contact Frigidaire for further instructions on what to do with the unit on how to get refund/replacement. I called Frigidaire and explained the same to them and they were nasty on the phone to me, stating it was all my fault for signing for it and now they have to go ahead with scheduling repairs. I told them NO REPAIRS. I told them come get the junk unit and give me a refund, but they REFUSE to agree with the CUSTOMER and keeping saying on the phone I understand your frustration. I tell them they are a bunch of clowns trained to say that, because if they were in my shoes they wouldnt be saying that. Their final sentence to me was, when you are ready for the repairs call us back. Then those ** hung up. Doesnt make sense how the 2nd unit was replaced without any repairs but now they want to go ahead and make repairs to the 3rd one? What a bunch of ass clowns.I am now working with my local Home Depot. A nice manager is working on the case for me. He is going to work with vendor and submit a claim for the lemon law. I should hear back within the next day or two. I told Home Depot I will gladly keep my $675 within the store if I can just bring the stupid junk unit back and get a different brand/unit not Frigidaire product. The manager agrees I have been thru way too much. Frigidaire customer service is absolutely horrible and sucks. They are the most ignorant people I have ever dealt with my life. I have seen and heard dogs at a local SPCA get treated better than this company treats humans, its disgusting. Think long and hard before committing and buying any of these products because in the long run it just isnt worth it!

Purchased the group of appliances. Dishwasher, stove, refrigerator and microwave. Junk appliances. Dishwasher stinks and does not barely clean or get warm. Refrigerator top freezer does not shut securely. I have replaced the gasket and that is more junk from Frigidaire. Stove, the oven does not work. Destroyed foil (Reynolds) then oven cleaner does not clean up only leaves more of a mess in bottom. I am soooo disappointed with these appliances. Im stuck with them now as too much time has passed. I just dont want others to be fooled by the appearance of the Gallery Group. They are junk. I would never buy Frigidaire item again.

We purchased a brand new house in March but the oven has been having issues. The technicians came to our house for several times to replace the motherboard then the wirings. Now we are having issue again on the temperature control. We are asking for replacement the last time we called customer service last month due to several problems arising with the brand new oven for four months but they refused. Our oven is rarely used. We only used it for heating pizza. It is just frustrating because we have all these issues/problems with the brand new oven which was rarely used. There wouldnt be any issues like these if they have thorough quality control. They kept on telling us that they will not replace it because it is still repairable but we are not technicians. DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE BUYING APPLIANCES ESPECIALLY FRIGIDAIRE/ELECTROLUX.

We bought our appliances 4 yrs ago. Dishwasher doesnt clean good and started leaking after 3 weeks. REFRIGERATOR has been garbage from the get go. We paid 2500 for a refrigerator that only had a yr warranty. So far we have spent another 1000 on it because its junk! I will never purchase Frigidaire products again. I have a GE refrigerator that we have had for 20 yrs and it works better than the new one. Needless to say I will seek out old appliances before I ever buy a new one again. They made them cheap, sell them for thousands and rip off the consumer. Nothing like big business!!

Purchased a Frigidaire dishwasher in November 2016 but it was defective right off the bat. Water was not flowing into the unit. Waited for a serviceman who said it needed a valve, waited over 10 days for the part to arrive. Another certified repairman came to install but that was not the problem. He said a switch had not been turned to its proper position. Began using the dishwasher but on February 25, 2017 I started the dishwasher and left the house only to return to find the door of the dishwasher open, the floor wet and the electronic starter on my cooktop clicking. At some point in the cycle the door blew open. The force was great enough to spray water 6 to the cooktop.I grew up with Frigidaire products that my parents trusted and got great service but that was 50 years ago. The product today is substandard and it seems Customer Service really doesnt care. I wish I had read the online reviews before my purchase but I trusted the product. Needless to say I will never purchase another Frigidaire ANYTHING and I will discourage anyone else to do the same.

I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator in Oct 14 for my man cave. The reason was for the ice. The ice maker has frozen up on me 3 times, April 15 (under warranty), April 16 and the last time December 16. I paid to have it repaired in April 16. So after the third time I thought I would try the factory again, yea right. Was just told that it is not unusual for this to happen and as far as they were concerned, the product is out of warranty. We have a GE Profile at the house that is approximately 9 years old and have never had a problem. I need the ice so I think I will go get another GE refrigerator and set this one on the curb with a FREE sign on it. I will also start telling everyone I know or dont know, as I walk down the aisle at Lowes, that you really dont want to be purchasing this product because if you read the other reviews, Frigidaire should be recalling this model of refrigerator.

Its systems are super easy to maintain and clean. Very cold air is produced and it's very quiet compared to other products. It's also very affordable and space saving on certain units. It has been great overall. Product quiet and effective. Not much water waste either for those who don't like to waste. I enjoy it a lot after a hard day of hot work. Cool, sleek design on some products. They're very edgy and give a home or business that extra touch that makes it seem more modern and beautiful. It has never given me any trouble in almost 3 years. Best investment of my life. I just clean it externally and let it rest for a few hours a day. Other than that nothing needs to be done.

2 years ago, we bought a slide-in convection range, dishwasher, washer, dryer, microwave and side-by-side refrigerator from their Professional Series. 13 months after using the range occasionally, the computer board malfunctioned because we used the self-cleaning option. Now 2 years later, the same thing has happened to our dishwasher.I contacted customer service and was told in so many words that this is a normal occurrence. And when she found out we had not purchased the extended warranty, they basically said get lost. After a heated discussion, she has offered to send a replacement for the dishwasher. After calling their service people, we discovered the labor to repair it will be almost half the cost we paid for it. They manufacture subpar appliances. It is unreal how many people they are taking advantage.

New stove and the smell that comes off of it goes in to the food that I am trying to cook in the oven... Have ran it through a clean but it still smells and smokes. NEVER buy a Frigidaire stove. If I cant get rid of the smell in one more cleaning I will need to scrap the stove and get a different brand. They dont care as when I called they just said, Yes, it will smell for a while because of the oil etc. in the stove. Not good... Worst appliances ever! Bought a dishwasher and refrigerator less than 4 months ago. 1st the dishwasher broke... they are ordering a new part-NOW the refrigerator spits out ice... randomly! Its also the noisiest refrigerator Ive ever heard! Loud noises every 1/2 hr!!! Most regrettable is dealing with the Frigidaire Company. They are unhelpful and rude... sounds like theyre speaking from a script. Wouldnt surprise me as they must have many complaints. Please choose any other brand!!! Believe me you wont be happy!!! This dishwasher hasnt worked correctly since first purchasing it in Feb 2020. I tried to return it to Amazon within weeks of initially buying it and was told I would have to try to get it fixed through the warranty. Amazon would not accept a return without an outside company verifying that it could not be fixed. Now- 10 months later, Ive been working with Frigidaire/Electrolux warranty repair and it is a NIGHTMARE. DO NOT buy any Frigidaire or Electrolux products. They are crap, their warranty relies on certified repair people to come out and those repair people are scamming.I have been getting multiple emails for months saying the repair people have ordered parts and they have arrived and when I call to schedule the appointment for them to come out as instructed, they tell me they have no parts and they will have to order them. Its very obvious that the repair company is ordering parts from Frigidaire and using them for something other than fixing my machine. Frigidaire will not do anything when I tell them that the repair people are lying saying that they are coming out with parts. All they tell me is that it has to be fixed because the repair company is saying it can be fixed. Its been 11 months now. Im saying that they can not fix it if it has been 11 months. I wish I would have read a review like this when trying to decide which brand to go with. My advice is go with ANY BRAND OTHER THAN FRIGIDAIRE AND AMAZON.

My ice maker from my Frigidaire refrigerator has never worked properly. It never stops making ice unless I manually shut it off. Then it started spitting out ice all connected and huge chunks. Then one day my daughter and husband were getting ice from the ice maker and noticed right before drinking it small and large pieces of plastic in their water. The dispenser broke as the ice went through and the cracked plastic. Ive contacted Frigidaire and they try to avoid what I tell them by saying sorry your ice maker is not working. No... We have had our Frigidaire Affinity for EIGHT years with no problems whatsoever--till yesterday. The washer stalled on the spin cycle. Problem was wads of some kind of matted, tarry stuff on the drain filter. Stuff that comes off dirty clothes? Don't think I cleaned the washer every time it asked "Clean washer"? And think maybe that was the problem. OR, how to get out the gunk that accumulates on the filter? Where is my manual? Can't find. Otherwise, I have been DELIGHTED with my wonderful, stalwart Frigidaire Affinity. And even this problem is probably just use-related. And, it might be my own darned fault, just as Jimmy Buffett said.

I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator model #LFHG225ITF3 in May of 2019. In December the ice maker stopped working. I replaced the filter and an external line filter and it still didnt function so I called service. A young man all of 20 years old if that showed up and looked in the freezer. He then proceeded to make a phone call and made the repair by getting instructions by whomever he was speaking to. He said, OK its fixed and left. 24 hours later still no ice. I called the repair line again and demanded a different service company. The next company showed up and again a young man got on the phone with someone. He declared that the ice maker had to be replaced. By a diagnosis over the phone. That was 2 weeks ago. I just called service again and got a complete runaround. She called the company that was supposed to order the part and replace it and got their answering machine. When I told her I could have had the part in my hand in 24 hours if I had ordered it from Amazon she just kept repeating her script over and over. I told her I want a new refrigerator if the people that they have servicing their appliances cant even replace an ice maker. I cant have one, she said, because the unit has not been deemed unrepairable. So if I dont hear back within 24 hours she will send out a third company. To waste a third day of mine waiting for them to show up and potentially not fix the unit. This game, according to the representative, could go on and on until someone can fix it. Bottom line, be very worried about getting a problem solved by Frigidaire. I have never experienced such nonsense. They are subcontracting with the worst of the worst to service your expensive purchase. Buyer beware!

Frigidaire refrigerator delivered Feb 2017. Electrolux is parent company. Unit carried 1-year warranty. Nov 2017 I discovered crack in inner lining (I suspect it was delivered with crack) and initiated telephone conversation with Electrolux who stated unit would be replaced under warranty but had to satisfy protocol. SEVERAL techs over several visits came to house. Electrolux found fault with each one --- one took over a month to invoice Electrolux & send report. One told Electrolux they would call me to set appointment & never did --- one neglected to be on phone with Electrolux factory tech at time of visit etc, etc. All techs that came to house confirmed, documented, & reported crack to Electrolux. Each call to Electrolux met with yet another step to accomplish until now unit is beyond warranty and Electrolux now saying I am beyond warranty and will only approve factory-approved repair which is to tape crack not replace unit.23 Feb 18 call to company that delivered refrigerator stated they would have replaced unit with new one if I was within warranty but because unit is now out of warranty there is nothing they can do even though Electrolux freely stating they have documentation that my conversations with them started well before warranty dropped. Customer Support is AWFUL. They lied to me. They dragged their feet so much that my unit is now out of warranty. Any help to have Electrolux replace this unit, as they promised from the beginning, would be appreciated. At this point - my advice: DONT BUY ONE.

We purchased a new electric double wall oven on 6/10/14. The oven takes up to 1/2 hour to reach the desired temperature. The temperature must be set 25 degrees higher than what is chosen. When using both racks in the same oven temperature drops 50 degrees. A fan blows hot air into the room to cool down the controls, well after the unit is turned off. Not bad for $1500.00.

We both went downstairs and tried to find where the smell was coming from. Our kitchen filled with smoke, we decided to wake up the kids to get them out of the house. He pulled out the refrigerator when he discovered thats where the smell and smoke coming from. Shortly after that, the bottom of the fridge burst into flames. We used a fire extinguisher and luckily got the fire out. We contacted Frigidaire and their response was that there wasnt much they could do since the fridge was 10 months outside of the 1 year warranty. Even after we had one of their techs come out AND verify the part that burned/melted, they continued to say it was outside the 1 year warranty. They offered to replace the part that burned if we signed something saying they were not liable for anything.

We needed a fully functional, energy efficient refrigerator for a tight spot in our small house, which we bought 15 years ago. We did not want bells and whistles like an ice machine, although this fridge does have the capacity for one, door water dispenser, alarms etc. These items are just more to break, need cleaning and cause problems. We bought the 14 Frigidaire and it has been wonderful. Interior is roomy for the size, electricity use is quite reasonable. It is easy to clean and the gasket has held up well. The small size means that we need to use up leftovers, don't have food waste, and keep it neat. The price was right. Should we need to replace it, we will look at the same brand.

2 years ago we purchased 3 Frigidaire appliances, their French doors fridge model FPHB2899PF2, their gas slide in range and their dishwasher all in the Professional series. At the one year mark the dishwasher broke down and required replacement parts that Electrolux was aware of. The oven racks (3) are all approximately 1/4 inch too small. So when you put almost any weight on them they fall to the bottom of the oven. Best yet just shy of the 2 year mark the door ice maker died. We called Electrolux service who directed us to our local repair company who arrived at our house and spent 4 minutes and $100 to tell us that this particular Frigidaire fridge was garbage and that he has repaired or tried to many in his area. He told us ours was non-repairable. Long story short we daughter for numerous emails and calls with Electrolux to only end up with a partial credit towards a new purchase which would cover approximately 35% of the replacement cost. At this point we gave up. We did however reach out to Leons Furniture where we purchased the group only to be totally ignored! Needless to say we spend all of our efforts spreading our message.

My wife worked and saved for a LONG time because she wanted to upgrade the kitchen. Once she felt she had saved up enough, she went shopping for a houseful of appliances. She liked the Frigidaire Gallery line and the Affinity washer and dryer. In October of 2010, we took delivery of stainless gas range, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator along with new washer and dryer. The only good thing to be said about Frigidaire is the smudge-proof stainless is the real deal. Too bad its not worth the aggravation. I would rather clean the front of the fridge every day, than deal with this brand ever again. We have paid for extended service contracts on all of the appliances since 2010 and with good reason. The washer has been repaired at least 8 times. It also stinks inside quite often. There was a class action suit for this and all you get is a check for $50. We used it to buy vinegar to clean it periodically (the only thing that works). Dryer has been repaired at least 3 times, if not more. Dishwasher repaired once. Gas range did a weird thing where if you tried to light one burner, all the igniters would fire up. That took time for parts, but it was otherwise usable. The refrigerator, where to begin??? Constant noise and malfunctions with the ice maker. Also, it would never stop making ice, even after the ice bin was full. After five repairs, my wife convinced someone in customer service it was time to replace the fridge. Fridge number two had the same issue with the ice maker, it would never stop making ice. You know the bin is too full when water drips from the ice dispenser. In 2014, we moved and washer, dryer and fridge #2 came with us. My wife likes her appliances to match, so she bought a new Gallery gas range, microwave and dishwasher.Fridge #2 didnt make it far into 2015. Ice maker stopped making ice. Deemed un-repairable, enter fridge number 3. Fridge #3 also has the issue with never stopping ice production. The icemaker was replaced (they finally re-engineered it so they didnt have to bring you a new fridge every time the ice maker quit). #3 is a little noisier than 1 and 2, but tolerable. Also, the replacement ice maker never stops making ice... Two cubic foot microwave deemed un-repairable after just 2 years. They agreed to replace it, but they dont make a 2.0 anymore, we could get a 1.75 cubic foot. Ok, but that unit is cheaper than the one its replacing, are we getting money back? You guessed it, no. They will add 3 months to the original warranty - TAKE IT, YOULL NEED IT!!! We were without a microwave for six weeks while waiting for Frigidaire and Lowes to communicate with one another. As I am typing this, its been almost a week since weve been able to use the gas range after it filled our home with gas. The nice man from the gas company put a DANGER tag on it and shut the gas supply to it. Frigidaire service said someone would be out the next day to look at it, but weve been down that road many, many times and we knew no one would be out the next day. Called the service company and, sure enough, earliest appointment was two weeks out. Call Frigidaire back and said we cant be without a range for two weeks. They said they would escalate to scheduling team, I said, You need to authorize a replacement now. No, we only escalate. I need to talk to a manager. Get Angela on the phone, shes like a parrot and says the same things over and over again. She promised a call back with status the next day, never heard from her again. Called her and left messages twice, no response. If you are reading this and am wondering if my wife and I would recommend Frigidaire appliances... Wed ask you why would you want to do that to yourself? If you just have to have smudge-proof stainless, never be without the extended contracts. Never. Customer service has only gotten worse over the past eight years and my wife is truly regretting the decision to go with Frigidaire.

I purchased a Frigidaire microwave on November 2018, October of 2019. The microwave rack caught on fire. I filed a claim with Frigidaire. They sent a technician to my home who never opened the panel. He sprayed it with spray paint changed the hook. The microwave now knocks the power out in my kitchen. I spoke to a corporate supervisor who sent another technician out who was very rude, stated he was not working behind another technician, he should have done the job right the first time and he left my home. I called the supervisor back, she sent another technician out. He opened the microwave, took pictures, referred back to his phone and it still doesn’t work. He stated it may have to be taken back to the shop. He left without the microwave. I called his office back and was told he ordered more parts which was not what he stated to me. I called the supervisor back and she stated that she would need to send another technician out. I explained how angry I am at this point. I feel that no one not even the corporate supervisor cared about me or my families safety are danger. And I will never purchase another Frigidaire product and I will be sharing my experience with everyone who I know and more. Anytime the corporate Supervisor told me to take the microwave back to Home Depot and they would have to take it back once they hear my frustration is said, not only did she lie she knew she was brushing me off. Still unresolved. Truly dissatisfied former customer.

On June 11, 2014 I purchased Frigidaire Air Conditioner - Model FFTA1422Q2 - Serial No. KK3 through P.C. Richards, which was delivered on June 19, 2014 and installed the following day. I completed and mailed in my registration on July 1, 2014. I used the unit during the summers of 2014 and 2015. I tried turning it on again on Friday, May 27, 2016 and the unit would not cool. On Saturday May 28, 2016 I called the Frigidaire Customer Service number 800-944-9044 only to get a recording to contact 2 different service companies, one in Laurelton, NY and the other in Deer Park, NY. Neither of these numbers were operational.I then called PC Richards Customer Service to find a repair service that handles Frigidaire units so that I would not void my warranty. They gave me Aid Audio & Television Service Corp. I tried reaching them but due to the holiday weekend I could not get through until Tuesday, May 31, 2016. Told them the unit was not cooling and the first appointment I could get was Friday, 6/10/16. When the serviceman arrived he said I needed a new control board and the office would call me on Monday June 13, 2016 with the cost. When I did not hear from them on Monday, I called them back twice and could not get an answer. I then contacted PC Richards Customer Service department and spoke with Ellen. She called and spoke with Soma who said that Paul would be back in touch with me. He called me later in the day and told me that it would cost me $416.00 plus tax for the part and labor, which included the $95.00 I had already paid for the service call. I told them I would let them know.I felt this was ludicrous and I then contacted Frigidaire Customer Service on Wednesday June 15, 2016 and spoke with Linda. She agreed and did not think I even needed a control board since it was operational, it just wasnt cooling. She told me the main control board would be $85.56, a display board was $52.41 and a control panel with overlay would be $23.51. She felt another service company should come and look at the unit at no charge if the problem was in the sealed system, otherwise I would be charged. She made arrangements with Petro Home Services to look at the unit on Monday 6/20/16. The service man determined that I had lost the Freon and needed to put in a sealant and replace the Freon. On 6/22/16 I was told by Kelly at Frigidaire that parts were being ordered at no charge.Petro returned on June 24, 2016 and took the unit out of the sleeve again only to find out that I needed a new compressor as well. At first I was told that the part was covered, but I would have to pay the labor charge of $500.00. I again called Frigidaire and spoke with Chanel who confirmed that I would not be responsible for any payments. The compressor was ordered (Part #5304476923). I have now been told by Petro Home Services that there was no ETA on this part. I again called Frigidaire on June 30, 2016 and spoke with Sandra and requested a new unit. She very blatantly told me that the unit was repairable, not replaceable.I wrote to Frigidaire telling them it has now been 6 weeks that I have been without an air conditioner, with my apartment reading 90 degrees in the middle of a heat wave. I am a senior citizen and cannot live in these conditions. I either need this unit to be repaired immediately; replace the unit with a brand new one or refund me so that I can purchase another air conditioner. I am tired of getting a run-around and need immediate action, otherwise I will purchase another unit and take action against Frigidaire. With no response I bought another air conditioner that is working beautifully. They finally came and repaired the broken one with a new compressor and freon and I sold it at a loss, but at least my apartment has been cool the rest of the summer. I would never purchase another Frigidaire product again and would certainly make sure my relatives and friends would not either.

I bought a Frigidaire front load washer, and have had problems right from the start, so we had gotten a extended warranty through Frigidaire, and have had problem after problem (serviced at least 7 times in 3 1/2 years), and told from a Manager at customer service Jennifer that not only will they not replace this lemon of a washer, but are not responsible for the horrible service men they send out to my home, the first one General key Stone tried to lie and say it was something I put in my washer causing the problem to the company, but told me different, and found out from another service man that he just lied cause it was a hard to get to piece he had to replace, and then that service man who came back several times hit a valve and caused my basement to somewhat flood with this rusted water from a old pipe that was not being used, and brand new towels were ruined, along with a throw rug. You also have to wait for the servicemen to come, (and take off from work these days, and pay for wash to be cleaned while waiting), and then wait at least a week or 2 or 3 for the parts, and then another week for the repair Apt. This company is of no help. Do not buy anything from Frigidaire including any service contract. Youre better off just buying a new machine from a good company like Whirlpool. Will never purchase anything from Frigidaire again.

Purchased a suite of Frigidaire products in May 1014 - fridge, range, microwave and dishwater. From the beginning I had problems with the fridge. The freezer frosted over and was icy. I called a repair company and was told the gasket had to be replaced (on a new fridge???) and had to be ordered. I waited a couple of weeks and after numerous calls was told the part (gasket) was on back order. What does that mean??? I was told to call Frigidaire and did so. What a runaround. They told me I would have to wait for the part which may be in Aug. 4th. Asked to speak to a supervisor who told me they could only give me a ETA on when it would be available and I would have to wait. Wait to fix a broken fridge that I only had a couple of months. I complained. I wanted it replaced and they said they DO NOT REPLACE only repair. They specified they were not refusing to fix, but I would have to wait for the part which would hopefully be in this year (exaggeration). This is deplorable conduct. I have to suffer with a broken freezer until the part becomes available. I never heard of such a ridiculous answer. I contacted my salesman and he is getting in touch with their rep. I have read so many complaints about this company that I think I will have to get rid of this fridge and take the loss. Frigidaire, you are on my you know what list.

Reasonably priced and do a fantastic job cleaning and drying. Front load washer and dryer - owned for 5 years and have not had any problems and no service calls. Easy to use and use very minimal amount of water and electricity. Don't like paying a lot of money to purchase a product when there are less expensive models with the same features. In late November 2015, we remodeled our kitchen and purchased a complete suite of Frigidaire Gallery appliances. We couldnt install the dishwasher until the granite countertops had been fitted so the dishwasher went in last, a few days before Christmas. As soon as it had been plumbed in (at a cost of $120 by our Lowes kitchen fitter), a 15 minutes rinse cycle lasted three hours. I switched it off and reset the machine. Another 25 minutes cycle last four and a half hours. I called Frigidaire and they said that they couldnt get anyone out until January 2016! I called HHGregg who said that its not their normal policy but they would order us a new one, but we had to pay for it over the phone, return the old one to the store (a 64 mile round trip), and then we would get a refund on the original one. So 64 miles later, we had another dishwasher, which my husband had to install, since the kitchen fitter wouldnt come back without another charge. In February, I noticed that the side-by-side refrigerator was dropping temperature on the fridge side. It went from 38F to 14F, up and down wildly, then it would settle back at 38F, then the freezer would start to defrost. In the middle of this, we lost endless amounts of food as it completely froze in the refrigerator and defrosted food in the freezer. Customer service at Frigidaire was dreadful and they would not even guarantee that someone would call you to make an appointment for a further two business days. By this time the fridge went back to its normal temperature. I eventually got them to give me the local Frigidaire repair man and I dealt with him directly. Over period of a month or so, every time he was scheduled to come the fridge worked correctly, then froze everything in sight. Finally, we got it fixed. The damper hadnt been installed correctly and we were a filter missing. Were now holding our breath waiting for the stove or microwave to break down. I will never buy Frigidaire appliances nor will I recommend them.

Bought Frigidaire microwave 6 months ago. Quit working and after 4 service calls, runaround from Frigidaire customer service, many lost hours of frustration (too many to count) Im at my wits end. Last service guy told me Frigidaire will NEVER replace an appliance. Said theyll just keep trying solutions, ordering more parts, etc. After 2 months Im done! I bought the microwave from Wayfair so as a last resort called them. After a couple of minutes on the phone they gave me a FULL REFUND without having to return it! Really? I also found this hoping it will help somebody:Here’s what worked: 1) Be nice. Every person I spoke with at Electrolux tried to help. 2) Take notes. Log every problem, every conversation with support staff including who you spoke with and their company ID, if they have one. 3) Know what you want to accomplish. The company would have been happy to continue repairing the fridge until it was out of warranty. I made it clear that the warranty would not expire until I had one year of trouble-free operation. 4) Put a limit on what you will accept from the company. When I got to my limit (and you must be reasonable about your limit) I required the company take action.5) Talk to a person who can say yes. When the service person says “no”, ask to speak with a supervisor. The language that finally worked for me with a third level supervisor was: “Can you authorize this (replacement or refund) or should I speak with your legal department?” 6). Be prepared to follow through. I did not ASK for a replacement or refund, I told Electrolux that I would accept nothing less, I filed a complaint with my state’s Department of Consumer Affairs and I let them know I was willing to file suit to replace a defective design. At that exact point, after receiving their copy of my filing, Electrolux refunded the full purchase price of the refrigerator and refused to pick up the old one. Never, never buy Frigidaire again!!!

Beware Frigidaire Gallery 22.6 Cu. Ft. French door counter-depth - I purchased this fridge on March 15, 2012. It took delivery a week or two later. It is a beautiful fridge, which does not leave fingerprints on the front except on the handles. The counter depth is nice. However, the fridge stopped cooling properly on September 5th, not quite to the 6 months’ mark. The thermostat and possibly the compressor both failed. Fortunately, still under warranty. Unfortunately, Frigidaire does not contract with the larger, easier to get appointments and faster repair companies. I live in a large metro area and had 4 choices. Two of which are several counties away from me. So now 12 days after the repairman was finally able to come to diagnose, they are waiting on parts and I am now 16 days into no fridge and taking my family out for all meals. First visit, they diagnosed the fan unit and the thermostat. It took 7 days to get parts. When they installed those, they found that the door sensor is faulty. Now waiting on more parts. I also bought the matching dishwasher, hopefully not the same issues. I would recommend you purchase an extended warranty, which I will, but through a third party sufficiently able to provide proper service in your area. Im most annoyed that my Kenmore/Whirlpool fridge that this replaced never once had an issue in the 11 years I used it. It was just no longer a good fit in the remodeled kitchen. My favorite part of this entire thing - On Frigidaires website, they allow you to rate their products and post them. They send you an email asking you to click a link to confirm your review, only the link doesnt work! Funny. I wonder if I rated it 5 stars if the link would magically work.

Purchased home in June 2017 with new Frigidaire appliances included in purchase. Started off with the electric stove which the burners did not work, was told by the warranty center that they would be out in week or more. Ended up calling out an electrician to fix the problem and paid him $90 so we could eat. Thank heavens we did not wait. Our next problem was last night we went to bed and awoke to have our refrigerator door open and our food defrosting. Proceeded to call the warranty center and got really no satisfaction. I bought my fridge at Teppermans in Windsor. The staff were hard to find and when I did they disregarded my questions and made me feel like I was bothering them because I was multi buying for a discount, I had to tell them it was on sale as they didnt recognize the sale and were trying to tell me they were not on sale until after about 3 sales people tried to find the sale on it and embarrassed me as if I was lying or trying to get it cheaper than regular price and that it was a cheaper brand, I finally proved them right and they didnt apologise, They thought they can make me pay the price on the sticker. I was so upset and wonder how many customers they do that to. My fridge had many problems and they would not fix it. Gave me a hard time so I will not shop there no more and my fridge lasted 5 yrs only.

In January/February of 2016 I bought a brand new unit from this despicable company Frigidaire. Keep in mind when I buy a refrigerator I intend for it to last at least 4 to 5 years before it starts to give problems unless there is a natural disaster. Earthquake, storm, etc... in less than 9 moths the fridge light doesnt work. I went to numerous stores to get a light bulb thinking that the light bulb in the fridge blew out. Home Depot, Lowe’s, Orchard, etc… 7 different light bulbs were purchased and tested on the fridge yet none of them worked, I went as far as going back to Lowe’s and getting the light bulb that was used in the model on the floor and tested it, that didnt work either. Later that day I called Frigidaire customer support and got the most rudest, ignorant, discussing person on the phone. While shes babbling on and on about how it is my fault and how the company she works for is sooooo great Im trying to tell her that theres no way in hell that I could have done anything to the fridge if the unit is working and cooling things. I explain to her that is a self defrost fridge and that there are only 2 people in the household. I hung up refusing to get yelled at by someone who won’t listen to anything I have to say. Around 15 min after I had hung up I went to the fridge (with my flashlight) to get some lemonade. As soon as the grub on my right pinky finger touched the fridge door handle it detached from the fridge. I sat there next to the door handle thinking to myself well this is complete madness. The light bulb doesnt work and the fridge handle is not latched correctly. This company really needs to start manufacturing decent unit. Mark my words, NEVER WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THE CRAP FRIGIDAIRE SUPPLIES TO YOU... PS. waiting for my 3rd repair guy to show up on Friday. Let’s see how that goes.

Model # - FRsss2323AS0 or O Serial # -4A14107574. Order number for missing parts: ** waiting on shipment since Feb 25, 2022. Where is the tracking number. My mother has been waiting on missing parts for her new fridge since January 2022. I have called a few times just to simply get the tracking number for the order shipped out I was told on February 25, 2022. They have all the details on file from the specs as to which parts are missing (deli tray 3,4,5 which is specs 48,49) and (Crisper tray 49) as well as a fridge logo. This was covered by Mykia, she told me that the order was held but never go back to me as to why it was held. I spoke with Ann who told in early Feb. She told me by Feb 25 2022 the missing parts will be shipped. I spoke to Sirena told March 14 she hung up on me and but told me she would place me on hold to go retrieve the tracking number, enter hang up a dial tone. Someone either did not do the reorder for the missing parts or the shipped is still not out yet. Either way when a customer calls if the CS rep does not know the answer as to why the order hasnt been shipped or cant even provide the tracker number for the missing parts, this only means people are slipping on the cs service skills. From January until March 14 2022 my mother is still waiting on missing parts. WHY? Can I get a order tracking number without cs reps hanging up or just the honesty of what is really going on here. Tomorrow I will call back and just request to speak with a supervisor or manager because these are simple questions that only require simple answers. WHERE IS THE TRACKING NUMBER FOR THE MISSING PARTS???

It should not have pulled away the way that it did and now the entire unit will not work. I took picutres and even called/chatted with Frigidaire and they were not able to help me. About 18 months ago, we purchased a Frigidaire Professional Double Convection Oven, a matching Microwave/Hoodfan and a matching Warming Drawer from Sears. Total cost was about $6000 as I recall. All four of the (no name) bulbs in the ovens failed within three months of very limited use, suggesting to me that Frigidaire/Electrolux were using cheap and nasty bulbs of unspecified make which were not fit for the intended purpose. I replaced them all with bulbs from Noma and not one of the four Noma ones has failed since.About 10 months ago, we carried out the recommended self-clean cycle, following which the top oven would not come up to temperature. Sears service was called, took up my time removing the oven from its cabinet and replaced the thermal trip/breaker which is located in an absurdly inaccessible place at the back and behind the oven for a (resettable!) trip. Sears wisely decided to fit a new trip rather than just resetting the original one. Then, about three weeks ago, we noticed that the enamel is failing on the bottom of the top oven casing, clearly the result of faulty manufacturing. It has fallen off in several places. I contacted Sears and they claimed that this was cosmetic and not covered by the extended warranty which I had purchased. At my insistence, their service man came out and inspected it and clearly told me that me his view is that this was not cosmetic but is a manufacturing fault. I was party to his end of the telecon he then had with his supervisor, and it was clear that his supervisor was telling him (from 2000 miles away, never having seen the problem at first hand) that as far as Sears was concerned, it was cosmetic and not covered by warranty. Sears made no reference to Frigidaire on the issue. It was clear that the dishonest Sears supervisor was telling his service technician that he was to tell me that the issue was cosmetic, and appeared to be instructing him that that was what he was to write in his report. I spoke to Sears customer Service (a misnomer if ever there was one) and they told me that the service guy had stated in his report that is was a cosmetic issue, not covered. They then told me that they had ordered a replacement casing (in effect recognizing that it needed replacing) and that I would be charged for it. Well, at some point, theyll be asking me for my credit card Number and no way will I ever be giving them that! We carried out another self-cleaning cycle a couple of weeks ago and the top oven once again will not reach the set temperature. Looks like the issue is not the trip at all, but a more fundamental problem. So, but for the fact that we have the second oven, wed have been ovenless again for some weeks. This week, I phoned Sears and told them that after all these issues over 18 months of very limited and very careful usage, I wanted a replacement oven, as I was unprepared to tolerate such an unreliable and poorly-manufactured product and could not devote yet more of my valuable time to dealing with yet more service calls. They have declined to agree to that.Today, I contacted Frigidaire/Electrolux in Misssauga and spoke to some creature whose English was barely understandable and who basically told me that the whole matter was one for Sears, not Electrolux. I found him obstructive, unhelpful and unworthy of a customer service position. There was no recognition that any of these issues were in any way the responsibility of Frigidaire/Electrolux as the manufacturer of the appliance! So, both Sears and Electrolux will now find that they are having to deal with a Scotsman who doesnt tolerate fools gladly, doesnt tolerate so-called customer service as appalling and unreasonable as this and doesnt tolerate being *** to.I am truly appalled at the obstructive, dishonest and unreasonable attitudes of both Sears and Electrolux and currently await a visit from a senior Sears technician, which is being arranged at my insistence. Neither Sears nor Electrolux give a *** for the fact that a customer has spent several thousand dollars on a major name product branded professional (suggesting superior quality and reliability) which is of unmerchantable and unsatisfactory quality. I wouldnt touch another Frigidaire/Electrolux appliance with a bargepole but this issue is far from over. Watch this space!

We purchased over $4,000 of new appliances when we remodeled our kitchen in 2010. At the time, Frigidaire was the only company that produced a smudge proof stainless counter depth refrigerator. This is by far the worst buying decision I have ever made after buying appliances for 40 years. The dishwasher racks and the stainless front panel began to rust at 3 years old. The refrigerator never ever cooled properly causing to lose produce to freeze and spoil. The temperature constantly fluctuates, consequently, your temperature control does absolutely no good. If you lower the temperature to keep products like milk, butter, jellies, etc., at 37 degrees the produce compartments go below 32 degrees. We just paid a $430 repair bill for a new control board and we still have the same cooling issues. There is most definitely a design flaw with this refrigerator! The microwave had to be replaced due to failure. It simply stopped at 4 years old. The slide in stove has not caused any problems except for cleaning the glass top surface which requires more work than the floors. Everyone that reads this review should believe every word and please take my advice... STAY AWAY FROM FRIGIDAIRE!!!

Keeps losing refrigerant. I have had this freezer for 4 and 1/2 years, the tech just left. This is the 3rd time it has needed service, all for the same issue. It has taken 3 to 4 calls before its “fixed”, at least until next year. Once a year I have to call them, this is just ridiculous, cause they do not want to replace their product. I will not buy another appliance from Frigidaire. It’s sad because it was almost always a good company before Electrolux bought them. Thing is I have a 22 year old Electrolux vacuum that I love.

My electric range is less than two years old. After doing a self clean the oven stops working. The repair costs me a whopping $352.15 to replace the control panel (EOC and overlay). The service technician admits that on these models the relays start arcing and routinely burn out after a self clean cycle. If that happened with a car it would be recalled but we appliance buyers have to endure this kind of nonsense!? No fair! And this model is recommended by Consumer Reports? Oh puhleese!

Frigidaire gas range - One of the burners burns way too high and hot. The manual says it can be adjusted. I had 2 service calls for this issue. Both servicemen said it was by design and there was nothing wrong with it. What??? It does not have a low setting, I cannot use this burner and it is the largest one! Frigidaire uses a third party service, AE Factory Service in Texas. Im Im Maine, they have no idea who they are sending and they dont care. Also bought was a refrigerator, and the if maker is a nightmare. The service man said, I should never buy a refrigerator with an ice maker, they never work right. He didnt bother to try to fix it. Frigidaire does not care about their customers.

I will never purchase another Frigidaire product for the following reasons: 1). After two years, the interior light switches failed, causing the lights to remain on after the doors were closed, resulting in the bulbs burning the top of refrigerator compartment. Repairman couldn’t fix them, due to the fact that there are no cool bulbs to replace with. I still have no lights in fridge. 2). The auto ice maker has no overfill shut-off, until you discover that when door is opened, the ice falls underneath the freezer, and the door won’t close until you remove spilled cubes under the freezer; accessing the spilled cubes is a nightmare, for which I now have a special homemade device for this job. 3). Now that fridge is “old” (2012 purchase), water is leaking to bottom of freezer compartment, the freezer jams if it’s not removed. Every 5-6 days, I must empty the bottom drawer of freezer, get down on hands and knees, chip away 1/2 inch of ice from freezer floor, then re-pack bottom drawer!4). Upon calling Frigidaire about the last issue, representative advised me to “purchase a new one, it’s old”, which I definitely will, however, not from this company or any of its affiliates!

I have to say, I am very biased. I prefer Frigidaire. We have 2 side by side units, one from 2006, and the other one is from 2017. Both have worked very well, and, yes we have had some minor repairs that I always could fix, but, overall, they just do what we expect. I think the key is to not buy all of the fancy electronics. Both of our units just have water / ice in the door, and that is all. On the 2006, other than filters, I just replaced the water control assy in the back of the unit. Part was less than 40.00. So, I guess I have had good ones. I still would buy them again.

The appliance store had a special if you bought all Frigidaire appliances. Big mistake!! Within 1 year the dryer, washer, and dishwasher all broke. Frigidaire fixed them under warranty. Within the second year the dryer, washer, and dishwasher all broke again. This time the repair bill was going to be on us and not cheap. We decided to replace all 3 appliances with Maytag and Kitchenaid. We have never had a problem with these brands.Fast forward to 4.5 years later and our Frigidaire refrigerator caught fire! Had to call fire department. The compressor caught fire and all the electrical is burned up. We have on order a new refrigerator from GE. Never will I ever buy a Frigidaire appliance again!!! Only 2 appliances havent broken, Oven and microwave. I cant wait for the micro to break because the hood vent sounds like a jet airplane when using it. Has from day one but it does work.

When we bought our home back in March 2016, we replaced the kitchen appliances with smudge resistant stainless steel Frigidaire ones. We quickly realized that THE HANDLES are not smudge resistant. Annoying. We also noticed that the drawers were so tight and stiff we could barely open and shut them. The company sent us a food grade silicone spray to treat the rails. THEN, 2 months after we got the appliances the motherboard on our dishwasher crapped out. We had to wait 2 weeks for the part to come in. Shortly after, the motor in the ice maker went.Again, replacement needed. Recently, it started being fussy again, requiring the ice to constantly need to be cleared from the blade in the front or it hangs up and won’t spin. And now, AGAIN, the motherboard went on our dishwasher. And we are expecting family from out of town in a week for our daughter’s wedding. At first, Frigidaire offered to pay for the part, but wanted us to pay for the labor, because it was out of warranty, and we didn’t purchase an extended one.So I asked them, How is it, that we spend $580 on a new dishwasher, and we are told we need to spend an extra $100 to $200 in order for the company to stand by their product? I told the Frigidaire representative that I felt like the extended warranty was extortion. I asked her how she would feel, if she spent that kind of money on an appliance and it lasted less than two years? I said that our last home had a cheap KitchenAid builder’s grade dishwasher, and we never had an issue with it in 10 years. She checked with the manager, and then she told me that they would do the repair for free as a one time courtesy. But that I should purchase the extended warranty??? I said no, because if it needs repairs again, I’m getting rid of it.

Weve had this oven for four months now. It takes 30-40 minutes to preheat (to 350 or 400 degrees). The stench of resin from assembly, that the instructions promised would go away after a couple of uses, has still not gone away after 30+ uses. The racks for the oven are too narrow (or the walls of the oven are warped/poorly made). If you set a medium size casserole dish on the racks (with food in it)... the rack can fall out of its supports. I keep thinking to myself; how long have manufacturers been making ovens? Is it really that hard to provide an appliance this simple without design, manufacturing, and quality control flaws?

We purchased a Frigidaire Gallery French Door Refrigerator six years ago from Howards. It cost us over $2000. In October 2016, it stopped cooling and freezing and we first noticed an SYCF code. We called Frigidaire and were told to order the control board which sits behind the ice maker. The part was ordered on Nov 6 and came after Thanksgiving! I was so mad and when I called Frigidaire, they refunded us for this part because it took over three weeks to get. This control board didnt fix the issue, so we called them back. It was recommended that we call a certified technician on their list. I contacted Riddle after speaking with Frigidaire. Theyre a certified repair service for Frigidaire. I called on Tuesday, Jan 3 in the morning and their technician, Ben, showed up that afternoon. After 15 minutes, he diagnosed the problem is that the switch board with two 5 amp fuses needed to be replaced. He said that he would call the following day to give me a price for the service and labor. For the 20 minutes he was here, it was a $79.00 service charge. I received a call from Ben the following morning at 10:00 a.m. stating that the cost would be $629.20 because he would replace the switch board (that he diagnosed the day before) and the main control board (below the refrigerator). I said THREE times that youre charging me for the main control board based on an assumption you have that it wont work because the switch board doesnt work. I said that isnt right since he didnt diagnose or test the main control board to see if it needed to be replaced. He is basically charging me for a product that may not be broken. The original cost was around $350 and now with this new bogus main control board, it totaled $629.20. AVOID USING RIDDLE who is suppose to be certified repair company for Frigidaire. I called Frigidaire and explained my experience with Riddle and ordered the main control board. The rep I spoke to pulled up the specs for this model and I clearly stated its the control board which sits behind the fridge, at the top left. I confirmed THREE times because he kept calling it something else. He assured me that it was the right item. About 7 business days later, I received the item and guess what? It was wrong.I called and spoke to Juanique, corporate manager on Jan 12, 2017 (remember, our fridge has been broken since October 2016) and she returned the incorrect item and shipped out the right part. She gave me 20% off and free ground shipping because of all my issues. As we waited for the part, we decided to buy a new fridge to avoid all the headache and future issues with this refrigerator. On 2/1/17, I called and requested an RMA number. It took over 10 minutes because the rep (April) could not locate the order. Their system is absolutely ancient and wastes too much time for the consumer. My experience with this location has been NEGATIVE. The customer service reps need more training, attitude adjustments. The two managers I spoke to were very helpful and actually fixed the problems created by their employees. Do yourself a favor, DO NOT BUY FRIGIDAIRE GALLERY FRENCH DOOR refrigerator (model #FGHB2844LF1). The ice maker broke two years into the purchase. We didnt fix it since we have a U-Line ice maker.

I have had my range nearly a year. FFEF3051TBC model number and serial number VF73535062. I have had this range for almost a year and the door falls off constantly until it stripes out. 2 small bolts holds the whole door together. I put it back on the first 7 times until it stripped and had to be replaced and took a month and a half to get parts and them to fix it. Worked for almost a month and same things now happened. I put it on 6 times until it stripped out again now and had to order parts again. Was 5 to 6 weeks again before it was fixed. Work for almost 5 weeks. Now it is broke again about 4 weeks before Thanksgiving and now it’s Tues. And Thanksgiving is Thursday, family coming in and I can’t cook dinner. I have called corporate office many many times they say they have to fix it and only replace if the heat measured isn’t good. Well I have been without the range for 3 months and growing and while it is torn up I am sure it’s not heating right. The bottom is burned and top of food not done. I would never recommend this product to anyone. They try to put it off and off until warranty runs out. I have a new house with a new stove I can hardly use grrr. SO UPSET. I wish I had went with Amman’s product.

We bought a new home in 09/13, we upgraded our appliance package to the tune of 1800.00 dollars above the amount allotted by the builder. We had nothing but problems with the appliances. Dishwasher, stove, and now the fridge. Yes I understand they are just over 5yrs old. But when we bought the appliances we made sure of the warranties on the units. typical warranty 1yr complete, 5yr compressor. Weve had to have the fridge serviced a couple times over the years, and Frigidaire {Electrolux} has been aware that there was a problem with the compressor. So fast forward a couple months, now the unit is completely off warranty. Low and behold they will not warranty the compressor. Sorry of which they have changed their warranties to now only be 1 yr for the complete fridges, no compressor warranties beyond the year. But they would gladly sell me a NEW compressor to the cost of 495.00 canadian, shipped. But I must have a Frigidaire approved installer put it in at the cost of 695.00, bringing the total repair to 1100.00 Well we decided to just scrap the fridge since the repair is so costly, and no guarantee it would last. So why not just buy a new Fridge from another manufacturer. Oh ya did I mention Samsung, Dayco and numerous other manufacturers have increased the warranty periods on their refrigerators. The last time I ever buy a Frigidaire or Electrolux product ever. Also I will make sure as many people know as possible that they do not stand behind their product.

Wow, where do I start? Six years ago, we renovated a house and bought all new appliances. Lowes was having a sale on Frigidaire, so we chose all Frigidaire appliances (refrigerator, range, microwave, dishwasher, washer and dryer). Almost immediately, we had a strange issue with the refrigerator. If you put items, i.e., sodas, on the bottom shelf, you cant open one of the crisper drawers. The weight of the sodas pushes down and prevents the drawer from sliding. Very poor design.About a year after the purchase, the dishwasher stopped working. We called out the repairman and the motor had gone bad. He said there was a series of motors that were bad and Frigidaire replaced the part for free but we still had to pay for labor. Also, it takes a long time for the stove to preheat. It takes 20 minutes to pre-heat to cook a pizza for 20 minutes. It is quicker to have a pizza delivered!Year three, the dryer stopped working. The main circuit board was burnt up. We were told it was not worth fixing and we had to buy another dryer. (We did not buy a Frigidaire). Now we are on year six. The clear coating that stops fingerprints on the stainless steel is wearing off both the microwave and refrigerator. This looks terrible. So, when we spend $3000 on appliances, we expect them to last more than 6 years. We are now faced with the thought that we will have to replace everything again. Poor design, unreliable, poor longevity, and looks terrible after a few years. We will never buy another Frigidaire product.

I purchased a Frigidaire stove oven combo from Lowe’s. Within 3 weeks, we realized with the oven set at only $350, it made the top front of the unit so hot it would burn. Upon calling Lowe’s, they suggested we call the service number for the manufacturer. I was on hold for so long. When I finally got help, they told me it was normal that the oven vented there. The other vent is back by the left burner. However, that area never got hot. So she said the warmer top front was within the manufacturing guidelines. I asked if they would just send out a repair man to verify nothing was wrong. She refused and said I would have to pay for any call myself. If I had little children, having this unit in their home would have been considered abuse. Here I am only two years later and last night when setting the oven at 425 it began burning and smoked out the entire kitchen. Never buy Electrolux products either as they own Frigidaire. And yes I tried to contact their customer service for help and that number was disconnected!

New house came with all new Frigidaire appliances. Within about 4 months, the dishwasher had a pretty serious leak at the base of the door. Repair took a month as the door panels took a long time to get to the repair company. The technician seemed uneasy about the repair but expressed that he was obligated to do it. His parting words were along the lines of, Well, lets see how it goes. A month later, the same leak returned. I called Frigidaire and told them that this time Id like a replacement. They told me that the repair technician would have to make that determination. The repair service said they would gladly come out, but rarely will Frigidaire replace anything, they always end up repairing. I impulsively went out and charged a new machine, which reading this forum makes me feel as if I did the right thing.A month ago, the microwave clock began running about an hour fast or shutting off. The bottom shelf of the refrigerator falls off its track locking the crisper draws in place. I think its criminal that a company is allowed to produce massive amounts of impossible to dispose garbage. I feel horrible that I am sending a less than one-year-old dishwasher to the dump. My last unit was going strong after nine years when I sold my last house. After the washer is paid Ill charge a micro, then eventually the fridge. We all work in this house and cant take the time to have all these repair people to come. This is really aggravating.

The following is a letter written in response of the poor quality of Frigidaire products purchased for my new home. This letter was uploaded 2 times via Frigidaires website contact us page and mailed via USPS and have had no response to any correspondence. (I have submitted this letter twice via your website and have had no response.)Upon building my new home in 2008, I purchased all Frigidaire Professional Series products for my new kitchen. Since moving in, I have had issues with each piece except the dishwasher (PLD4555RFC2). The double ovens (PLEB30T9FC) hinges squeak when I open or close the doors. The top ovens hinges were replaced during the warranty period, yet they have begun squeaking again. Moisture gets between the glass (an area I cannot open to clean) leaving behind water spots and dust when it dries. This obscures the view of the food I am cooking. No matter how clean I keep the oven, it always looks dirty when viewed through the glass. The microwave (PLMVZ169GCC) touch plate cover had scratches when it arrived and so it was replaced via the warranty.I purchased a full fridge (PLRU1778ES3) and freezer with ice maker (PLFU1778ES3) with the trim kit and gave the specification sheet to my cabinet maker to ensure a custom fit for the unit. The freezer has had frost issues because the door seal would not completely seal when closed. We were able to have the seal replaced during the warranty period as well. Now the refrigerator runs constantly on any setting during any season, but it cannot keep pace to chill food enough, even on the coldest setting. Milk seldom lasts to its expiration date. The compressor has been replaced and the Freon charged but it continues to run all day and all night. When the fridge does turn off--maybe once a week, provided it hasnt been opened for more than eight hours--it seems like something is wrong in the house because it is so quiet! Also when the fridge is off, the contents inside are covered in dripping condensation, which spoils our produce more expediently.Your recommended repair company has determined that it is not feasible to repair the unit because it has a Freon leak, which can only be remedied by overriding the refrigeration device and building a new device on the outside of the unit. Ultimately, a new refrigerator would be more feasible and cost-effective. I have called Frigidaire to inquire assistance for all the problems were are having. We have been informed that Frigidaire refuses to offer any solutions because our products are no longer under warranty. Since we made this purchase, you have changed the design of the full fridge and full freezer. To replace the refrigerator, we would need to replace the freezer and trim kit too! After five years in a brand new home, we are faced with spending $3200.00 on a new fridge and freezer unit. We purchased your top-of-the-line professional series appliances because we love to cook and entertain and we believed your sleek, well-designed appliances would assist us in this endeavor. Your fridge and freezer units are the centerpiece of our kitchen. We designed our entire kitchen, down to our drawer pulls, to match these units.Upon our endorsement of your products, friends and family have purchased several Frigidaire appliances for their homes. Now due to our loyalty to your brand, we would appreciate in-kind loyalty from you by helping us to remedy our lingering predicament. Could you please offer a resolution that will repair the aesthetics of our kitchen and thus endorse our faith in Frigidaire? We would appreciate your graciously offering an in-house credit toward the purchase of a replacement refrigerator, freezer, and trim kit for our home. Although the new appliances would no longer precisely match our current double oven, dishwasher, microwave, and drawer pulls, they would still be the centerpiece of our kitchen. Certainly this is a more pleasing solution than pairing a short Frigidaire freezer with a taller Frigidaire refrigerator below an empty hole where the trim kit no longer fits. Helping us to defray the cost of these appliances because you stand behind your name, would ensure continued fierce loyalty toward your brand. Thank You.

Fast forward to this year, we wanted to stay with the Professional line since that is what we purchased last year. Received the brand new double wall oven this afternoon, 12/15/2021. Within 30 minutes of the installers leaving the stupid oven gives an Error Code message (F47). My husband has been on hold for more than. We have spent over $7,000 for appliances for them not to work!!!! We were told that the Professional product line was the top of the line appliances for Frigidaire. I will be writing the CEO Mr. Alan Shaw, the Board and everyone else about my issues. I will also be writing up reviews on all of my social media pages. This is ridiculous! I was about to go with Samsung appliances but decided on Frigidaire because I figured that I would have more problems with Samsung. I should have followed my first mind because I am beyond frustrated with Frigidaire Professional. And to make matters worse....its the week before Christmas! How in the heck am I supposed to host dinner with a busted oven!!!! If I could give a negative -5 stars I definitely would.

This is the worst purchase I have ever made in my life! Purchased a complete Frigidaire kitchen package (Fridge Model FGSS2635TD, oven, microwave, dishwasher) from Brandsmart USA in Miami, Florida to install in my brand new remodeled kitchen. It took over 2 months to arrive due to Covid. Brought the new black stainless steel appliances/smudge proof and what a mistake. The paint chips off all the appliances. Had to have the refrigerator door handles replaced because of chipping, other parts chipping as well. Had to purchase paint to apply every time it comes off and you see the silver stainless steel underneath. After only using the microwave for a couple of weeks it stopped working. Contacted Frigidaire to have a technician repair. It has been 2 months the technician has been out to the house 3 times and cant repair. Every time he comes there is a new issue and additional parts are needed, which take forever to arrive since everything is on backorder. This last time the tech advised I would need an entire front door to the microwave, the entire inside has practically been replaced and still doesnt work. Frigidaire customer service is horrible!! I have had to contact them over 10 times to no avail. One agent had the audacity to tell me they cant provide me with a new microwave and that they are losing money on me since they have to send the repair tech!! Like I said it would have been cheaper to send a new microwave!! If they would have manufactured a quality product this would not have happened. Unfortunately, I have to continue to wait since Im still paying for these appliances that cost over $4000.00. Praying that nothing else happens to the other appliances!! If I could give less than one star I would. Never again.!! Do NOT buy!! Grave disappointment from this company! Totally dissatisfied!

The temperature of my Frigidaire french-door refrigerator went up to 55F after less than 5 years of regular usage and it stayed at high temp between 44-55F. I called to schedule an appointment for diagnosis, the associate immediately charged me $99 over the phone for the appointment. Later, I changed my mind and decided to buy a new fridge during Black Friday sale, so I called to cancel my appointment on 12/1/2021. 2 weeks later I didnt see refund and called to follow up. Guess what? They did cancel my appointment but they DID NOT process the refund. After that, I had to call many times to follow up my refund, last call was on 12/27/2021. 1+ month later into 2022, Im still waiting for my refund. Good luck if you are dealing with Frigidaire.

Electronic control to Frigidaire Dishwasher model PLDB998CCO, part 154445803 has been discontinued with no compatible parts listed. My dishwasher is 9 years old and needs an electronic control. I called Frigidaire who could offer no help or guidance. Now, I must replace a dishwasher because a company decided to stop making a necessary part. This should be considered criminal.

I purchased a new Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator and had it delivered in January of 2016. I bought it through Best Buy and the delivery was an absolute nightmare. Right away there were issues. I ordered a model with black exterior and received one that was grey and was told that the model I purchased was no longer offered in black. I agreed to keep the model that had been shipped. From the beginning the unit made a lot of unusual noise. Within the first year the water and cubed ice indicator lights quit working and the ice maker would freeze up so much in the back that the auger couldn’t turn to dispense the ice. Every couple of months I would shut the ice maker off and the ice would thaw and water would run out and down the front of the refrigerator door. It seemed to function better through the warmer months of the year. In December of 2017 the ice maker stopped working altogether. I recently called a local repair company to come out and take a look at it. I was told by the repairman that the problems that I am having stem from a flaw in the design of this particular model and that Frigidaire is well aware of that. They build a moisture barrier kit to replace the design flaw in the back of the unit. This flaw causes moisture to continuously build around the water lines, the fan, and the ice maker and it freezes causing the ice build up and malfunction of the cooling fan for the ice maker. This inevitably led to the electronic panels failing. I have been quoted by him at just over 800.00 to repair all items with no guarantee that it won’t happen again. I paid nearly 2500.00 for the refrigerator with two years of use and I’m facing an 800.00 repair with no guarantee of a repeat problem. I contacted Frigidaire to ask if they would at least be willing to assist in offsetting some of the repair cost. I asked them why, knowing that a problem existed so much so to create a repair kit, did they not contact consumers to offer this repair kit before problems like mine came about? They had no good answer for me. They have offered to send me the sweat kit that they claim fixes the moisture build up but are not willing to assist me with any further parts or repairs. So, here I sit stuck with a 2500.00 two year old refrigerator that requires 800.00 in repairs with no guarantee that it won’t happen again. Quality product and customer satisfaction is clearly a thing of the past.

2015 we bought all new Frigidaire appliances. Very disappointed. Refrigerator back Iced up and rusted out. Frigidaires fix was to put a 1 and 1/4 thick foam on the back of the frig. Now the fridge sticks out even further from the wall, I wouldnt be able to see if it were iced over with the foam on the back, and the ice machine hasnt worked the same since the repair. Our double oven burns food on the edges. Frigidaire put one of the largest burners towards the back so that the heat from the burner melts the face of the control board. Had it replaced once already and it is melted again. Our Dishwasher wont work on all the setting. If we select Power wash, we end up with water all over the floor. We get constant power failures also. If I could give a zero rating I would. Im surprised this company hasnt been sued. Last I spoke to Frigidaire, I was told that they could help me find a service provider and that once I pot them to fix the issue, they could then offer me an extended warranty. Seriously???

We purchased our Frigidaire convection oven at Home Depot about 3 years ago. It has worked great till tonight. We were baking potatoes for dinner (in what we thought was a 400 degree oven) when, after about 30 minutes, the oven started beeping non stop and 'F10' was flashing on the display. The stove top was very hot to touch and a strong electrical smell was filling our house. The oven window was dark brown. I opened the oven door, thinking there was an oven fire and the heat that came from the oven was overwhelming! I was unable to turn off the oven, so my husband finally tripped the breaker. After reading all the other reviews, we will be keeping the breaker off and getting a new oven tomorrow!!

Frigidaire recommended a service rep for the Kingsport, TN area to repair an oven door inner glass. I took the oven door along with the Frigidaire Range model number and serial number and the manual that was supplied with the stove to Milhorn Appliance Co., Kingsport, TN. I was given an estimate to replace the door glass of $59.95 plus $50.00 labor. It was to be picked up the following Wednesday. When I called to verify the pick-up, I was told that the price now would be $170.74. Milhorn would not return the door without the glass. The range cost $595. I would not have agreed to the increased price. I would have bought another stove. Frigidaire continues to recommend this shop.

4 new Frigidaire professional appliances. Year 2 replaced stoves control panel (over $300) and ice maker in fridge needed repair. Year 3 ice maker repair again, year 4 dishwasher leaking and had to replace. Fridge ice maker and water dispenser repair. Year 7 stove started to smoke (when back was removed the wire assembly for bake was melted into the control panel) so had to replace. So that leaves only 1 appliance (microwave) that remains. Frigidaire customer service has no comment other than to provide you with a contact for repair. Will never buy any frigidaire product again.

I purchased a home that had all new appliances including a Frigidaire stain
I purchased a home that had all new appliances including a Frigidaire stainless steel refrigerator (Model FFTR1821QS), manufactured in April, 2015. Within 2 weeks of moving in, on 10/23/15, the refrigerator started making a loud groaning and clunking noise and was no longer cooling. Called Frigidaire and they scheduled a service call for over a week out with one of their contracted companies. The guy came out and determined that there were 3 parts that needed to be replaced, all of which were on backorder, so they likely wouldnt be available for weeks. I called Frigidaire again to figure out some kind of resolution and get a more accurate timeline for when the parts would be in and when the repair could be completed. They were not able to give me a timeline other than one of the parts needed is expected to arrive 1 week from today.I have now been without a refrigerator for 1 week and AT MINIMUM expecting to be without for another week, most likely much longer since the other 2 parts do not have an estimated arrival date at all. The person in the parts administration department was unable to do anything further and abdicated responsibility to the customer service department. When I called Customer Service, I expressed by frustration and stated that having to wait 3-4 weeks or more without a refrigerator is completely unacceptable. After being on hold for a while, the person came back and offered me 6 months of additional extended warranty on the refrigerator which does absolutely nothing for me today. I asked for the brand new refrigerator to be replaced or to be given some kind of compensation because it was obviously a defective model if this level of problems were happening so soon.I was told that a repair and offer of additional extended warranty was all that could be done. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was connected to Danielle, corporate manager, who gave me the same lines the other person did. I asked for a replacement or some other kind of compensation again and was told that the manufacturer warranty only covers parts and labor and not replacement and that Danielle, herself, would research the parts that are needed (for the 3rd or 4th time... apparently that should give me some kind of solace that another person will do the same thing that has already been done) and will give me a call next week with an update. If the parts arent there, they arent there.Theres nothing than can be done to expedite that process. I asked to speak with her supervisor and she refused to transfer me to anyone else. It is absolutely ridiculous how little regard Frigidaire has for their customers and their experience with their products. I will never purchase a Frigidaire product and will recommend that anyone I know steer clear of them as well.

I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator on 5/31/14 (approximately 6 months ago) from Lowes. The refrigerator portion stopped cooling. I contacted the 1-800 number and I was instructed by recording to enter my zip code. I entered my zip code and was told by the same recording that they had no service providers in my area and I would have to call a 706 area code number. I dont live in the boonies. I live in Scottsdale, which is a suburb of Phoenix, AZ. I called the 706 number and had to wait on hold for 30 minutes before the call was answered. I was told that they dont have any service providers where I live (once again not in the boonies, right next to Phoenix). They would have someone call my by Monday (I called them on Wednesday) and would schedule a service call then. Who knows how long from Monday it will take them to come out. When I explained that time was of the essence due to the fact that I store insulin in my refrigerator, it was suggested that I purchase a industrial refrigerator. I suggested that Frigidaire manufacture a refrigerator that last longer than 6 months. I was then asked to take a survey. REALLY????

Purchased a new house in 2008 and decided to upgrade to some nice new stainless appliances. The company recommended Frigidaire. Poor decision. The stove threw sparks when the oven door was closed due to poor wiring under the glass top. The microwave was so loud, it had to be replaced immediately. Now when a cabinet door is closed, the microwave turns on by itself and you have to open the microwave door and close it to turn it off. The dishwasher is hard to close, its noisy, and the gaskets started falling off within a year. The refrigerator door shelves broke several times under normal use and the company refused to acknowledge issues with poor design, then denied sending us replacements. Now the temperature control actuator that opens and closes to let cold air in started clicking, then broke, and wont hold a temperature under 40.This is without a doubt the poorest quality appliance company EVER. I have a 15 year old GE Hotpoint refrigerator in the garage we use for extra food, milk and beverage storage, and have never had an issue with it. If I had the money to replace it all tomorrow, I would take every bit of this garbage, and deliver it right back to the front door of the company with a few choice words painted all over it.

Last issue was the entire control board needed to be replaced. The dishwasher pump has been replaced. Currently the microwave doesnt heat and the top of the double oven wont heat. We have had the refrigerator for less than one year. The ice maker leaks into the refrigerator and the ice becomes one. He used an adhesive to complete the seal. By Sunday, May 1, 2016, it was leaking again. There is a serious flaw in this refrigerator. Please do not purchase this model refrigerator. Im writing on behalf of my daughter who is due to give birth any day now and who has waited since January for Frigidaire to make right a product that does not work. In the last four weeks, Ive spent nearly 8 hours on hold BEFORE I could actually talk to someone, and though it has been 8 months, the replacement dishwasher which Frigidaire was supposed to deliver has not been delivered. On two occasions, delivery men have brought out a new dishwasher but then, mysteriously, the new machine was deemed broken in delivery and impossible to install. Ive been instructed to send copies of documents to prove our purchase even though they have record of the fact that she owns it. I am waiting for Frigidaire to deliver a serial tag to me - Im supposed to attach it to a rebate email. I have never received the tag.My belief is that Frigidaire is attempting to get out of replacing the product which has never worked by delaying until it is no longer in warranty. They are a dishonest company, run by incompetents or worse, they are criminals and are happy to take money and try to grind consumers down by making their service impossible to get all the while recorded messages assure those of us on hold that Frigidaire is concerned and cares about its customers. RUN, RUN, RUN, but do not buy anything any Frigidaire.

Bought a new French door Refrigerator and have had constant problems with the ice maker. The refrigerator was replaced by Frigidaire and now to find out the replacement was 2 years old and has the same ice maker problem. They call out repair companies that have extremely rude employees and problem cannot get resolved. Never can get the same customer service representative on the phone so have to repeat the same issue over and over.I am considering putting the refrigerator on the front lawn with a big sign on it. This will be the best advertisement. Frigidaire tells me they have a bulletin on the ice maker being bad but can never seem to find a way to correct it. All I want is my ice maker repaired so I do not have to keep buying ice and explaining why to guests. I do not feel with a refrigerator only 3 years old I should be having to write this complaint. If Frigidaire knows they have a problem with these ice makers they should just step up to the plate and make it good.

I have what I consider a fairly new machine - bought in 2010. It has operated well with minimal use since my children have been grown since its purchase and since we own two homes (both with laundry) and use this less than half time. The last load I washed was fine. As I put a new load in, the error light showed E90 and it beeped. I could not get either to stop, so pulled out all the manuals that came with the washer and dryer that I got from Sears. Spent quite a while reading through all 3 to no avail. So looked online. Still there was nothing to let me know what the problem was. By this time I was feeling very frustrated. So I found an 800 number to call. I was shifted to 4 different people, repeating info several times. By the time I got to a tech, I was very frustrated. Then she could not find the particular Error code - Even with the info on her computer and available from me as to the specific machine! That seems strange. However the tech seemed to be sure that the problem is the computer board. Not sure thats the correct term. My last washing machine lasted over 20 years with no need for repairs. So I am extremely disgusted to find that the board will cost over $200.00 and the service fee will likely be at least $130.00. The tech tried to sell me an extended warranty for $215.00 (to save me money). This washer is only 4 years old! I feel hoodwinked. My washer in my other home is over 20 years old and is fine. Why would I ever buy another Sears product? Which is a shame, because I have gone to Sears for large appliances since 1971.
