Received a damaged refrigerator and reported the damage to the appliance store. The damage is a bent frame behind the bottom kick plate. The appliance store contacted the distributor with no results. I then contacted Frigidaire customer service and they did not stand behind their product with a repair or replacement. Their response was that their warranty only covered manufacturing issues and that a damaged frame (bent) was not a manufacturing defect. They pointed the finger at the appliance store and/or the distributor and left me to resolve the issue. In addition to the bent frame, this is the noisiest refrigerator I have ever owned!.

I bought a new Frigidaire dishwasher model FFCD2413UW at Lowes. Biggest mistake ever. Problem one, there is no mention anywhere about the fact that you must buy additional parts to install your dishwasher. This caused two 70 mile round trips. Problem two, The door on this dishwasher has no latch. With no latch to click to open it you must employ brute strength to open it.Problem 3, once you get this piece of junk open the door wont stay open. The problems here are numerous but the most aggravating is that when you open the door to load the dishwasher and pull the bottom rack out, the door starts shutting on its own sliding the rack back into the dishwasher. I have been employing a brick to hold the door down while I load the dishwasher. Problem 4, I thought my previous dishwasher was loud. This dishwasher drowns out every other noise by a mile. We have been setting it to come on later, it only has one setting for this, 4 hours. So now around 2 am the entire family meets in the kitchen to find out what the racket is about.

Bought all new Frigidaire appliances for new house in Coeur dAlene, Idaho.
Bought all new Frigidaire appliances for new house in Coeur dAlene, Idaho. Right away the refrigerator broke, making the freezer side super cold and the refrigerator side hot. Model number is FGHC2345LF. Freds Appliance (supplier we bought from) fixed it. This is a vacation home, so we are not there very much. Next time we came out, the same problem. Freds fixed it again (allegedly). This happened 3 more times, for a total of 5 repairs for the same thing, under warranty. They claim they replaced mechanical parts, electrical wiring, circuit boards, etc.Of course, as soon as the warranty expired, the same problem reoccurred and both Frigidaire and Freds Appliance told us to start paying if we wanted it fixed. Paid $583 to repair it. A year later, its broken again. Now they are saying its my fault because we dont use it enough! Seriously! They say it has electrolysis because Im not there with it. We leave the house at 55 degrees in the winter when were not there, and never over 80 in the summer. These are not extreme operating temperatures. Why doesnt the state attorney generals step in? I am going to request assistance from the Idaho BBB and State Attorney General.

Purchased all new Frigidaire appliances with a new home and have nothing but regret in doing so because of inferior quality, The dishwasher leaked causing damage to surrounding cabinets, the Range Oven light burned out after only a few uses and the side by side refrigerator freezes anything and everything on the top shelf of the refrigerator. Called for repair three times in six months. Not only that... Frigidaire refused to payout on a 150.00 rebate. Clearly a company with questionable business practices producing and selling an inferior product line with quality issues!!!!

Purchased a Frigidaire dishwasher in November 2016 but it was defective right off the bat. Water was not flowing into the unit. Waited for a serviceman who said it needed a valve, waited over 10 days for the part to arrive. Another certified repairman came to install but that was not the problem. He said a switch had not been turned to its proper position. Began using the dishwasher but on February 25, 2017 I started the dishwasher and left the house only to return to find the door of the dishwasher open, the floor wet and the electronic starter on my cooktop clicking. At some point in the cycle the door blew open. The force was great enough to spray water 6 to the cooktop.I grew up with Frigidaire products that my parents trusted and got great service but that was 50 years ago. The product today is substandard and it seems Customer Service really doesnt care. I wish I had read the online reviews before my purchase but I trusted the product. Needless to say I will never purchase another Frigidaire ANYTHING and I will discourage anyone else to do the same.

I purchased my Frigidaire Professional appliances for a kitchen remodel in January of 2015. The appliances Sat in my garage (in its factory box) until our remodel was done, so we started using them in mid Feb. 2015. The refrigerator ice maker started making a slight noise around Christmas of 2015 and has progressed into a horribly loud noise in January of 2016. Today I called Frigidaire to complain, they offered to sell me an extended warranty for another $450.00... I told them No thanks. I would use a portion of the $450 to hire someone to come work on their product. You know, I dont mind paying extra for a good product. That is what I thought we had done, but Frigidaire proved me wrong today! This refrigerator cost $1800 - and I did not even get a solid year out of it before problems started. Now I find they refuse to stand behind their product. This was my first Frigidaire product and it will absolutely be my last! Thanks for nothing Frigidaire.

In May 2015 we bought a brand new/just built home in RI. We bought 4 Frigidaire appliances for the kitchen (Microwave, Stove, Refrigerator, and dishwasher). In May 2016 I PAID Electrolux/Frigidaire to extend my warranty on the refrigerator. In the last week, Ive received multiple emails from Best Buy offering to extend my warranty on ALL this equipment. I called Electrolux/Frigidaire to clarify the status of the refrigerator, AND I dug into my files to find the 2016 agreement. To my shock, I discovered that the agreement I paid for in 2016 listed a completely different refrigerator, that THEIR records claimed Id bought from Lowes in 2014! Ive NEVER bought any appliance at Lowes, and in 2014 I lived in a completely different town and state than they had listed. This was DEMONSTRABLY THEIR DATA-CAPTURE PROBLEM. I wanted them to honor the warranty I PAID FOR and apply it to the correct appliance, the one that is actually standing in my kitchen now... The one I bought in 2015. THEN, I would have re-upped the contract, which was due to run out a month from now. THEY WOULD NOT DO THAT. Their only offer, return to me the pro-rated amount of my premium, which means probably 2 or 3 dollars. Meanwhile, IF my refrigerator had suffered a problem a month ago, or last year, I would NOT have been covered. In closing the data mistake could NOT have been made by me. It is literally impossible that I could have randomly invented model and serial numbers that match a refrigerator that is a different model, bought in a different year, from a different big box store. So, its demonstrably Electrolux/Frigidaire fault. And WHAT are they willing to do to make it right? NOTHING. ZERO. NADA. I shall never again buy: another Electrolux/Frigidaire product, or an extended warranty from ANY company. They are (Ill use the word again) DEMONSTRABLY a RIP-OFF!

In October 2010, I purchased several Frigidaire Kitchen Appliances. The refrigerator makes a noise from time to time like a popping sound and the ice maker stop working months ago. The Electric Coil Top Range has one front burner that gets so hot. I have to change the drip pans every few weeks as they turn purple, gold and brown. Now there is a 2 inch burn mark under the drip pan and a pile of soot was found from the burner burning too hot. I am afraid a fire will start soon and I try to use the other burners. I wont be buying Frigidaire products in the future.

I am very upset that I did not do my homework before I purchased my new kitchen. In 2007, we had a fire in our home and had to have all of our appliances replaced. I did not have a lot of time to do online research because we were busy working at our home trying to get moved back in, so now I am paying the price. The range keeps blowing the electronic board and thermosensor from overheating (which wouldnt you expect a range top to get hot), even though I had the recall done, which was supposed to correct the issue. I am very upset about Frigidaire not recalling their faulty products, as I am sure they know that they have a design issue in these ranges.I just hope that consumers research complaints about Frigidaire because they will see how poorly made their appliances are. As everyone else has said, SHAME ON YOU FRIGIDAIRE. It is sad to see expensive appliance products made in the USA that are of such low quality that you have to replace them in just a few years. Consumers be wary of anything that Frigidaire makes.

I purchased a Frigidaire Gallery gas Range from Sears. In 4 months the touch pad stopped working. First one number didnt respond. So, we stopped using the 1 digit. Soon another then another stopped working. The Sears warranty was invalid. So I replaced the $120 touch pad myself. While taking out the old part I noticed how poorly the thing was put together. All the screws were over-torqued cracking the plastic parts in many places. I replaced the touch pad and it worked fine. Then 2 more months went by and the electronic brain shorted out in a thunderstorm. Again, Sears would not do anything about it so I replaced the part myself. Now the new Sears replacement touch pad is starting to not work again! We now have to cook without the #3. So 350 degrees is 400 degrees or 299. It is so frustrating. We bought a whole suite of appliances. Frigidaire dishwasher was so bad that we had Sears come and get it the day after it was installed and they replaced it with a Kenmore when I complained repeatedly. The refrigerator works, but is noisy. I will never shop at Sears again and I recommend that you buy nothing there. They do not back up what they sell!

About 4 months into using the fridge, the temps went wacko!!! Currently fridge temp is 63 and freezer is -30. We lost like $200-$300 worth of food. No help from customer service... Its been almost 2 weeks now and finally service guys coming today. However I have no hope as reading These reviews makes me think this is my first problem but not the LAST... We bought all new appliances 4 years ago and have had to have the dishwasher repaired twice in under 3 years. The console assembly had to be replaced both time costing approximately $500. Now the microwave has stopped working. It smells like something has burned out as there is an electrical smell. Who knows if it can be repaired or not. Now Im waiting for something to go wrong with the stove and fridge. I would caution everyone to steer away from Frigidaire products as they should last longer than a couple of years.

5/17/17 Installed window AC (heavy 18,000 btu). Strange sound and smell upon plugging it in. Repair tech said Power Supply Board / Relay Switch not functioning. Frigidaire (Electrolux) wanted to repair the New unit. After arguing it was replaced by retailer not Frigidaire. 6/16/17 Stopped working, retailer would not replace it, Frigidaire sent repair tech a week later, same problem as first unit. Part ordered, repair tech installed, didnt start, etc. 8/1/17 Today 1.5 months of calls speaking Supervisors they are still stating they will find a repair company to fix the unit. Summer will be over before it’s fixed. I have emailed, Chatted, pleaded and cried. Even offered to accept a buyout of the unit (cost $600) at 50% less since I have had to purchase a replacement. Never will buy Frigidaire again! If a negative star was possible that is what I would give them. Will only shop at P.C. Richard, which has amazing customer service and repairs.

These appliances are only 15 months old and Ive had numerous problems with them and Id like to warn others about them and encourage them not to buy them. After being married for 49 years we had all new matching appliances and I was thrilled! But these appliances have been nothing but problems... Before the warranty was up, I had to have 4 or 5 service calls on the refrigerator. The first time I tried to clean my self-cleaning oven, the glass in the door shattered and I was left without an oven for about 2 weeks before they got it fixed, and was told by the service man that it really isnt good to use the self clean feature because it could damage parts in the stove. Now about a month ago my dishwasher just stopped working! Now Frigidaire did agree to cover the cost of the repair since it was only 14 months old, but only because I really put up a fight, but now a month later Im still without a working dishwasher! Service man came out yesterday and it seemed to work because I cleaned it because it had been sitting for 2 weeks and I wanted it clean before I washed dishes. After dinner last night I loaded it up and started it and about 3 hours later, my husband and I were in the living room watching tv, and it started making noises. I checked to see if the dishes were clean and they werent so I called service again and now its going to be another 5 to 7 business days before they can even get the part! Im just thoroughly disgusted and I want to warn others about it..

We have purchased two Frigidaire Professional ranges, and neither will work
We have purchased two Frigidaire Professional ranges, and neither will work. The part number is FPEF3081KF. Frigidaire is saying that the problem is the electrical service in this part of the US (Kansas), however, we arent having any problems with the Frigidaire Gallery, GE, Samsung, or Whirlpool appliances in this same small development. Supposedly Frigidaire is replacing one range (with what knows what), and says the other doesnt qualify because its not a manufacturing defect.I cant follow the logic there, since neither one will work. I guess Kansas must be the equivalent of a third world country and we just shouldnt expect to be able to buy appliances and actually have them work. Another Frigidaire representative says that replacement power supplies are being engineered, and they should be available in a few weeks. In the meantime, two military families are living without being able to cook. If you want logical and caring customer service, dont buy a Frigidaire. Frigidaire thinks its okay for people to wait weeks for repairs.

My microwave at home is an OTR from Frigidaire. 1 month out of mfg warranty
My microwave at home is an OTR from Frigidaire. 1 month out of mfg warranty, it stopped working in the middle of cooking some steam-fresh veggies on July 23rd. I called the service dept and they had me purchase a 1 year extended warranty for about $30 and then created a service tech visit for me. A few days later, I got an email saying the service visit was scheduled for August 27th (more than 30 days!). I called and asked if there would be anything shorter than 30+ days and was reassured that Frigidaire would find a new date that wasnt so far out as they agreed it was a very long wait time. I never got a call back on that and never got a new service window or scheduled time.So Aug 27th came and I called Frigidaire again to make sure this was still scheduled in the system because I never got any confirmation call in the week leading up to the appointment. I was assured this service visit was still scheduled, so my husband stayed home from work all day to wait for the technician. The service tech never showed up (I called them every hour during their 8 AM - 5 PM window and they never answered or returned my voicemails). So I called Frigidaire back and they said they would try to get another service tech scheduled. The next day, I got a call back and was told they couldnt find a service tech, so they would do a product exchange and I would get the details within 2 days.So this morning, it had been 2 days and I still hadnt heard about the exchange details, so I called Frigidaire back. They told me that they will have the ticket for review for 6-8 business days and they will let me know on September 10th if they are able to find a new service tech or if they will do the exchange AND they said that if they do the exchange, I will now be responsible to pay the delivery and installation fees. So it will be 49 days from my initial issue before I find out what the (hopefully) final resolution will be. I was told by the supervisor on this last call that she firmly believes this is a good customer service practice.

We purchased a new dishwasher in late 2009, along with a new kitchen. Within months of our kitchen install, the doors started to peel and crack around the dishwasher. Our first thought was that there was an issue with the finish on the cabinets. Why didn’t we think that the dishwasher was to blame but the cabinet company that replaced the cabinets? Now in our new kitchen the same problem has been happening. This apparently is a well known design flaw. I contacted customer service and they would not even let me speak to a supervisor. Apparently, they do not care about satisfaction in the least. We’re just out $600 for a poorly designed dishwasher that has ruined 2 new kitchens.

We purchased Frigidaire Professional appliances just over 2 years ago - double oven, microwave/hood fan and warming drawer. My issues with the oven were recorded here some months ago. Eventually, after a lot of wrangling and dishonesty on the part of Sears, Sears was forced by me into a buyback and replacement. This last week, we found that the microwave had ceased to heat. So now, in order to preserve the product coordination of our kitchen, Im now forced to purchase a new unit. The failed one states on the label that it was only produced in December 2009. It was installed by me in May 2010 and has been used only to thaw out bread and for heating frozen peas and suchlike, never for cooking as such. I would estimate its use at no more that 15 minutes or so per week.So this time, Im paying for a 4-year extended warranty and will take great delight in calling Sears out at the first hint of any trouble with it. Frigidaires Professional range of appliances are complete and utter junk, inherently unreliable and not fit for their intended purposes. The reliability of them is appalling beyond belief. My advice to anyone and everyone: Dont buy anything with a Frigidaire label on it, youll regret it if you do.

We purchased a suite of Frigidaire Gallery appliances to upgrade our kitchen. We upgraded our kitchen with a suite of Frigidaire Gallery appliances 5-6 years ago. Our household consists of 2 adults 60+ years of age (maybe this will nullify the kid factor). The range failed first - the oven went from temp setting to thermal run-away and burnt everything. We removed it, gave it away and bought a Korean product beginning with the letter L.The refrigerator quit making ice, the freezer defrosted and the refrigerator side went warm. We replaced the ice maker and a thermocouple. The ice maker is still a pain in the **, overfills the bin, shoots out of the dispenser like its fired out of a cannon. Refrigerated items freeze, the vegetable bins insure a short life for new items. The unit moans, groans and sounds like someones trapped inside. Were waiting for a sale and this thing will be GONE. The microwave just expired - DOA. It too was replaced. Next, the dishwasher quit in stages. Certain buttons for wash selection died, other worked. Error codes appeared but could be overridden with a hard reboot (circuit breaker shut off). When PF (power failure) appeared when restarting, it might, on a good day, restart BUT would stop with 48 minutes left in the cycle. Play button push lotto and you might get it to finish wash and rinse - forget drying. Replaced with brand L also. It is beyond fathoming how any Frigidaire kitchen appliance might receive a rating other than DISMAL. My suggestion: research all competitors in your budgeted price range and understand that all manufacturers will have problems .... but the failure of 4 of 4 appliances within 5-6 years? Not likely.

We bought a full set of Frigidaire kitchen appliances in January 2017. Just short of a year after the purchase the microwave went out. It has been repaired 4 times in less than 2 years. Now the dishwasher is out. Control board has to be replaced for almost as much as we paid for the dishwasher. I would never buy another Frigidaire appliance nor would I recommend them to anyone.

My $2,400 fridge stopped cooling after only 5 months. I had to call a 3rd party warranty service just to get ahold of Fridigaire! They were closed 2 days after Christmas and wouldnt answer the phones. After the 3rd day I was on hold for 5-10 minutes and would be hung up on due to high volume of calls. After hours of waiting I finally got through. They did send a local technician but he is at the mercy of Frigidaire sending parts. It is the control board apparently. I had to call and was on hold for 45 minutes just to get an answer on time frame. They said 3-5 business days then who knows when the installer can get to it.I tried to file a complaint or speak to a manager and the only option was a complaint that took the man 10 minutes but said there is nothing they can do now. Going on 12 days without a working fridge now. No apology from FA, and they will not answer Twitter or FB messages. They do not have an email or chat either. My advice is to call service lines before buying thousands in appliances and see how their CS is before buying. I would not have bought from FA if I had known their products are as terrible as their service.

I purchased the Frigidaire Gallery Series: Side by Side Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Gas/Convection Stove and Microwave. Each have problems that continue to this day: *Refridgerator - Control panel LEDs faded so it was unreadable, tech replaced the panel but the fridge had a Quick Ice feature when new but the tech replaced it without the quick ice feature.*Dishwasher- failed to operate at all. Tech replaced the control strip with washer selections but later found that this was not the problem. It needed the controller inside the door panel which he didnt have and had to order one. Waited two weeks for it to be replaced. Takes multiple attempts to get the washer turned on for cleaning. # Stove initial delivery came damaged. Replaced but after awhile gas smells emanate while using the oven, seems to be a chronic issue with this appliance. *Microwave - sounds tinny and cooks unevenlyI signed up with Frigidaire website and noted all of the above. Attempted to see if there was a response to my entry and found none. There was never any contact from them. Prior to that I posted my dissatisfaction on Facebook and received a message from a person that might have been a customer rep. When I attempted to contact this person I could not find the message again on Facebook. The issues all the appliances remain the same today. The oven is rarely used due to the gas smells/leaks. I understand that it might be an issue with a baffle??? I am totally dissatisfied with these appliances and even more so with Frigidaire/Electrolux lack of ownership of the brand and non-responsiveness from them as a company.

Had fridge for three years, broke 5 times. Two different repair places came to fix it. Fresno was bad, Bakersfield was even worse. Bakersfield tech was great but said Frigidaire has a policy that they have to try to fix it even if it cant be fixed, it would take three attempts to try to fix it. The receptionist lost our or forgot our appointments as she chuckled, but thats another review at a later time. Now Frigidaire said it would take 4 attempt to fix it. Same error code on fridge, same parts repaired on fridge 4 times. I have emails from first manager stating 3 times, now today they say 4. Kind of funny, the story keeps changing. Frigidaire claims until cost-prohibitive - it cost me 1500 plus extended warranty 500 plus 300 for food that went bad over a three-week period for each repair to be completed. So Im out 2300 now, not sure what they deem cost-prohibitive.

Paid $1600 for the oven which was installed January 2017, ignitor assembly needed replacement July 2017 and also April 2018. Now April 2019 needs replacement again. Oven very cheaply made and obviously there is an issue with the ignitor assembly as it keeps needing to be replaced. Luckily we bought the extended warranty (on the advice of the 1st repairman) so the repair was covered. However, I find product is inferior and Would never buy another Frigidaire. I purchased a front loading Frigidaire washing machine approximately 18 months ago. It came with a one year warranty. Several weeks ago it ceased spinning properly and then not at all. The repairs cost me $348 on a machine that had cost approximately $600 new. It has had no heavy use in the intervening period. I see online that this problem is not uncommon and recommend that anyone considering buying Frigidaire appliances think twice before doing so.

I bought Galaxy range. When I cooked for thanksgiving dinner, the backside of the range with its computer components and keypad melted. PC Richards sent a repair person out who said that we used pots that were too large. We did not use enormous pots aside from there should not be melting components on an appliance that gets hot. It is a fire hazard! Frigidaire keeps apologizing for this defective appliance but not giving solution to a useless range. I am told by Frigidaire that I can only use pots that do not extend over the burners in the back. The burners are 2 inches and 4 inches in diameter? Who has pots that small?

We purchased our Frigidaire convection oven at Home Depot about 3 years ago. It has worked great till tonight. We were baking potatoes for dinner (in what we thought was a 400 degree oven) when, after about 30 minutes, the oven started beeping non stop and 'F10' was flashing on the display. The stove top was very hot to touch and a strong electrical smell was filling our house. The oven window was dark brown. I opened the oven door, thinking there was an oven fire and the heat that came from the oven was overwhelming! I was unable to turn off the oven, so my husband finally tripped the breaker. After reading all the other reviews, we will be keeping the breaker off and getting a new oven tomorrow!!

We bought the whole suite of Frigidaire appliances for our kitchen a little less than 3 years ago. We have had to repair the refrigerator twice (the ice maker and the water filter) and now the microwave has stopped working. The repairman stated that 4 parts are needed and it will be roughly $300 to repair - that is roughly half of what we paid for the unit. I called Frigidaire and expressed my frustration - I should expect the appliances to last more than 3 years! I was told without the extended warranty, there is nothing they can do. I told them my previous appliances lasted 20 years without repairs and they should have more pride in what they produce. These are not durable or quality products! And, like many others - the refrigerator freezes some items, the stove is inconsistent, and the dishwasher barely cleans! Just not good products!

Frigidaire Gallery Series only worthy of a shooting gallery. Upon purchasing our new townhouse from a developer we opted to upgrade our appliances - all of which were Frigidaire products including washer, dryer, dishwasher, stove. A garden hose and a table fan would have been more effective than either the washer dryer combo or the dishwasher. Despite being labelled as commercial, heavy duty, super capacity it doesnt take an active imagination to realize that it must have been opposite day when the marketing team drunkenly scribbled the copy they wanted to label the washer/dryer with. We consistently have to remove wet clothes from the dryer and run it again with only a handful of pieces. It usually takes three complete cycles on the highest heat setting to dry even the most modest load of laundry. The washer stops mid cycle on account of being over weighted with a single set of bedsheets The same goes for the dishwasher which takes over 3 noisy hours to run a single normal setting wash, only to find half the pre-rinsed dishes still need to be hand washed. Complete waste of money and time. AVOID AT ALL COST.

I purchased a side-by-side refrigerator with front ice dispenser on 5/15/11 for approximately $1200.00.Within a few months the ice dispenser would not dispense ice. I called Frigidaire and they gave me a company to repair which were a no show thrice. I called again and they set me up with a new repair company which to date has been here four times. They have spent about $880 to fix it and replaced everything. I called Frigidaire today to complain and request a new refrigerator as this is obviously unfixable. The representative told me about 6 times they would continue to attempt to fix it and their warranty is very clear that they dont have to replace it and there is no such thing as a lemon law for refrigerators. My concern is that they will ride this out to beyond the year or not correctly repair so that when the year is up I’d be stuck with a bad dispenser. They are sending the same parts they just put on and sending the tech back for the 5th time rather than admit it is a defective fridge and replacing it because under federal law they dont have to, the representative told me several times. In one year I will have no recourse and a bad fridge.

Bought a Frigidaire refrigerator 6 months ago. It stopped working this past Monday. Lost all my food, contacted Sears where I bought it. They would not do anything about it. Told me to contact Frigidaire customer service. They were no help at all. Could not get anyone out to fix until 3 days later. Too late, 200 to 300 dollars worth of food that was in fridge went to the dump. They had the balls to offer me 25 dollars to help on replacing food so service tech came out on Thursday. He was very helpful, the only one had sense but didnt have part to fix so had to order part.So its going to be another 3 days for the part to arrive. They dont care whether they can help you or not. All they could say was, Thats all I can do. So anyone buying this product better think about buying any Frigidaire product because they lie about speedy service and warranty is not worth a damn. I will not purchase any more of their product. Its nothing but junk.

On Christmas morning I turned our Frigidaire range on to cook our Christmas turkey. Our stove is only 2.5 years old. There was a loud pop and I turned to see flames coming from the back of the stove licking at the wall. My husband quickly pulled the range away from the wall as I shut the stove down. The flames subsided but thick black smoke was still coming from the back panel. Never will I buy a Frigidaire appliance again. We could have lost our home on Christmas morning if we hadnt been in the kitchen. Cooking a turkey for a group of guests on an outdoor grill in 40 degree weather is miserable. Thank you Frigidaire for your junk... Your Frigidaire dishwasher starts by itself so it is unplugged... Your Frigidaire microwave with vent is worthless. We are replacing these new Frigidaire products one at a time for our familys safety.

Directly from their site to entice you to buy this warranty are these statements: Enjoy the peace of mind that only Frigidaire can guarantee. No one knows your product better than we do. And no other company is better equipped to provide the specialized parts and service you may need or to replace your product entirely! So invest now in the best possible protection with a Service Contract. And we guarantee to stand behind you and your product for as long as you own your coverage. There was no peace of mind when day after day we didnt know when wed finally have a washer. On the 5th call on 5-15-17 we were told our parts were ordered and again told to contact SoCal Tech. They said they ordered from Marcone and finally gave a tracking number. The replace your product entirely would have been a better option and was part of what was enticing about the warranty, definitely not fulfilled.Up to three full years of freedom from costly repair bills. Whether you choose a one, two, or three year Service Contract, well pay for all covered repairs needed to keep your product in peak operating condition. And that means no surprises to your budget. HUGE surprise to our budget of money and time to have to go to a laundromat which was 14.5 miles away and cost $60 for 20 loads a week for 9 people just to maintain laundry, not even basic bedding and such. A month of no product in peak operating condition.A brand new product, if needed. Its true. Our replacement coverage entitles you to a brand new major appliance with comparable features if yours cant be fixed, or if it simply makes more sense to replace it. Over a month and $1200 to fix a washer we bought for $600 in 2009 would warrant that it simply makes more sense to replace it instead of inconvenience the customer for so long.Convenient, in-home service with a toll-free call, Reliable service is only a phone call away when you own a Frigidaire Service Contract. And the call is always toll-free. True you can call from anywhere but expect to wait and be told to call somewhere else that may not be an actual number like we were given to SoCal Tech. On our 6th call to Frigidaire we talked with Supervisor Tiffany at ** and she apologized and could not do anything or give us any actual contact info for anyone who actually had the power to make this right. She gave us the mailing address for Alan ** who she said was the corporate executive. We have written him a letter.Top-quality repairs by Frigidaire factory-trained experts. You wouldnt want just anyone to service your valuable Frigidaire product. Thats why we use trustworthy professionals who have been trained extensively on Frigidaire models just like yours. True, the quality of the final repair is good, but dont expect answers from the service company SoCal Tech or Frigidaire in the month it takes to get there. Quick access to the correct replacement parts. Forget about inferior parts being used on your product or long, unnecessary waiting for a special component. We maintain an ample supply of quality components designed specifically for your Frigidaire model to ensure we can have it running like new again in no time.Frigidaires idea of no time is definitely different than ours for a family of 9 after a very long, unnecessary waiting of 30 days. Not quick access at all. Our Money-Back Guarantee. If you are ever dissatisfied with the quality of protection you receive, you may have a complete refund of the unused portion of your Service Contract, less claims paid no questions asked. Of course there is nothing left to refund after such a costly repair. Our goal is to keep you a satisfied customer for life. Ordered a replacement part from this company and they sent the wrong piece. Discovered a problem with the people they have in the ordering department. They do not listen to you, make promises they never keep and the supervisors go only by the reps notes so they intentionally do not put anything in those notes to protect themselves. Called three times for a return form and I was told I never called. Ordered my part from a small business and received it in one day. Terrible customer service.Bought Frigidaire refrigerator, stove and dishwasher for the new addition in 2014. Fridge burned out the motherboard 3 years later (used a 50 year old Sears Coldspot that still works for weeks). Ice maker has always had cubes that stick so it clunks till you pull out the cube. Hardly ever use it. The one time I did turn it on and didnt hear the clunking but when I opened the door I found the entire freezer frozen in a giant ice cube from top to bottom. The dishwasher has had a heat sensor burn out. Also the wash cycle would never advanced till our repairman (not a Frigidaire repairman) told us about a design flaw. You cant use the Hot Wash Cycle ever because it will never heat the water enough to advance out of the wash cycle. The oven door has slots so if you accidentally spill you have to take the entire door apart to clean. Will never buy this product again.

I purchased new oven/microwave unit in 2008 that developed a problem last August turning on based on a door latch that malfunctions. I spent $234 to fix with Frigidaire authorized service company, who told me it was a simple problem but expensive because you had to remove the entire wall unit to access. 4 months later I am having the same problem. Repair warranty was only 90 days. Fix will cost the same again. So I called Frigidaire’s customer service twice but they cannot help. I wrote office of their president who returned call very quickly but cannot offer any help. The only solution that was offered was that I should have purchased the extended warranty in the beginning. I am left with only two options. Spend $234 again to fix problem which only lasted 4 months the first time, or purchase a new unit. Original unit cost just under $1600. When the original light bulb in the refrigerated section of my Frigidaire side-by-side burnt out, I really didnt think it was so unusual. Ill just purchase a new bulb and replace it. This should be simple. Well, not so simple. Upon attempting to remove the bulb, it would not turn. I was afraid to apply excessive force since I didnt want to break it off in the socket. I couldnt understand why I was having so much difficulty removing a light bulb. So I poked my head in the refrigerator to get a closer look. I was amazed and concerned at what I saw. The bulb had burned the plastic lining above it. The bulb was stuck to the top of the liner. After several more attempts to remove the bulb, I finally succeeded. There is a considerable amount of damage to the liner, including a small hole in the middle of the egg size crater that was created by the hot light bulb. Im not only concerned that this has compromised the cooling capacity of my refrigerator. But that it could be a potential fire hazard. Still, I continue, with increasing doubt, to replace light bulbs with increasing frequency. I just installed the fourth bulb. Please help! Am I and my family in any immediate danger from this defective product?

We purchased over $4,000 of new appliances when we remodeled our kitchen in 2010. At the time, Frigidaire was the only company that produced a smudge proof stainless counter depth refrigerator. This is by far the worst buying decision I have ever made after buying appliances for 40 years. The dishwasher racks and the stainless front panel began to rust at 3 years old. The refrigerator never ever cooled properly causing to lose produce to freeze and spoil. The temperature constantly fluctuates, consequently, your temperature control does absolutely no good. If you lower the temperature to keep products like milk, butter, jellies, etc., at 37 degrees the produce compartments go below 32 degrees. We just paid a $430 repair bill for a new control board and we still have the same cooling issues. There is most definitely a design flaw with this refrigerator! The microwave had to be replaced due to failure. It simply stopped at 4 years old. The slide in stove has not caused any problems except for cleaning the glass top surface which requires more work than the floors. Everyone that reads this review should believe every word and please take my advice... STAY AWAY FROM FRIGIDAIRE!!!

Ok, that was 2 weeks ago and they called to say we will be there Thursday between 10 am and 1 pm to fix it. Called them to say I could not be here then, I am a teacher in the middle of exams!!! Not deserting my students for a microwave I didnt break! So anyway the woman was very rude and said to call Frigidaire and tell them how I refused to accommodate them... My husband called the repair service and asked them to please find a time that works and they said no. He called Frigidaire back and they said, Oh they dont have the parts yet, please tell me why they were going to come last Thursday if they Dont have the parts... Called Frigidaire and the offered to sell us a 2-year warranty for $498. Wow, way to back your products. 4 appliances and every one of them is total garbage and NOBODY at Frigidaire cares. I will never buy a Frigidaire product again. And to think, this is their PROFESSIONAL line!

Bought a new French door Refrigerator and have had constant problems with the ice maker. The refrigerator was replaced by Frigidaire and now to find out the replacement was 2 years old and has the same ice maker problem. They call out repair companies that have extremely rude employees and problem cannot get resolved. Never can get the same customer service representative on the phone so have to repeat the same issue over and over.I am considering putting the refrigerator on the front lawn with a big sign on it. This will be the best advertisement. Frigidaire tells me they have a bulletin on the ice maker being bad but can never seem to find a way to correct it. All I want is my ice maker repaired so I do not have to keep buying ice and explaining why to guests. I do not feel with a refrigerator only 3 years old I should be having to write this complaint. If Frigidaire knows they have a problem with these ice makers they should just step up to the plate and make it good.

I purchased a Frigidaire 22.2 cu. ft. side by side refrigerator from Best Buy. I have no real complaint with Best Buy or the refrigerator. My issue is with the Frigidaire Parts Department. I called them to obtain the correct part # for the water filter as the time to order light was on. The woman in the Parts Department gave me the part #. As I ordered the water filter from Best Buy. When it arrived I followed the instructions: remove and dispose of old water filter, install new water filter. After the old water filter was thrown away, I attempted to install the new one and it did not fit.I called the Frigidaire Parts Department and spoke with Ashley. I explained what had happened and asked that they comp me a water filter being that they gave me the wrong part # to begin with. Ashley explained to me that because I did not buy it from them they can not comp me the item. As well, as it is a special order item it will not be available for 10-14 days. This I found strange, because after I got the correct part # (hopefully) from Ashley, I ordered it from Amazon for next day delivery. HORRIBLE Customer Service.

I have purchased Frigidaire Model FFHT1831QP, Serial BA53635473. It SUCKS!! Had to get the seals replaced. The air chamber is misaligned (water laying on top shelf). Freezer doesnt work. They called it Intermittent Freezing. Yet the place that I purchased it from (though nice) did not offer to replace & I think they could. They are to have someone come out & look at it again. I WANT A NEW ONE! I didnt pay almost 700 dollars to have a brand new refrigerator already need several repairs. Then later when it has more problems Ill have to pay for it. Quite frankly Id love my money back & Id buy a totally different brand. My last refrigerator lasted me around 30 years with NO problems during this time. SO far I am not happy with the place that I purchased the refrigerator from as I believe they could offer to replace it immediately. I am not happy with Frigidaire so far. I will be happiest with a total refund. I would happy with them EASILY offering & providing me with a brand new refrigerator that is not this model/serial number & a better refrig. AS LONG AS IT ACTUALLY WORKS!!! Do NOT buy this model. The one guy that has been fixing these said that hes had calls on this model for these issues also.

Back in August 25th, 2006 I purchased 3 Frigidaire products: stainless burner gas cooktop, a double gas wall oven and an over-the-range microwave oven from AjMadison. Out of the 3 two are broken or dont function properly. I had my entire downstairs, which included the kitchen completely, remodeled. In 2007 all the new appliances were installed. I started having problems almost right away with the microwave. The hinges started to get really loose to the point of not being able to use it unless we held the door shut. Then the exhaust fan started coming on at will. We had to literally have to unplug the exhaust fan cord. A repairman came out and we thought he had fixed the problem but shortly after that every time we use the microwave it sounds like its about to exploded. The noise is that loud. Now our gas double oven door hinges broke. We had two repairmen at different times that tried to fix the hinges but it can not be fixed or replaced. The whole oven unit has to be replaced because this stupid oven is a one piece unit. I contacted Frigidaire and they said that there is nothing that they can or will do about it because they are no under warranty anymore and that I should have purchased an extended warranty. How dare them! A person should not have to purchase anything extra not unless they want to not have to so that these cheaply made appliances will be covered for some repairs. This company has known for a very, very long time that most of their appliances have serious problems. I refuse to pay for the items I already paid for once. Im sorry, I wont cut the mustard with me. Im very upset and something needs to be done about this on-going problem; otherwise, more people like us will get taken to the bank. We are retired people. I should be enjoying my retirement rather than trying to figure out how Im supposed to pay to replace these things. My question to all of you who are going through these problems with me is what are we going to do about it? I want to file a class action lawsuit. Are you with me or not?

I got a new house, and I and my wife went appliance shopping. We got sold on Frigidaire Professional series appliances (refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher). I gotta say ever since I had them, I have always had issues with them. You would think you spend over $3,000 on appliances and they would last over 4-5 years. First, the refrigerator started acting up, then 2 heating coils broke on the flat-top oven. The microwave shorted out, and my dishwasher control board caught fire and almost burned my house down (Thank God, I was up and smelled it.). I contacted Frigidaire, and they took no responsibility at all. They told me it would be a few weeks and I would get some info in the mail. Needless to say, I never received it; and a second call to Frigidaire has the same outcome. Being in the customer service field, I say Shame on Frigidaire. I share my horror story with every customer I can. Theres no accountability, respect, integrity, or servanthood on Frigidaires part. With the customer service I have received, I will never purchase another Frigidaire/Electrolux product. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. I will not be fooled again by Frigidaire products. They received my payment once but lost a potential lifetime customer. When I am asked by others on what appliances they should purchase and which company will stand by their products, Frigidaire/Electrolux will be the one I tell them to stay away from. Not only will the appliances malfunction prematurely, but they are a safety hazard in your home. At this point, I have no Frigidaire/Electrolux products in my home (Craigslist free ad with warnings). My wife and I both decided they are not worth keeping for family safety reasons.

Do not buy Frigidaire washing machine! I bought one just 6 months ago. I have had the repairman out here last month. Now, this month, he needs to come again! I cant return it to Lowe’s because they dont take exchanges, returns, or refund on major appliances! So I think I will also never buy another major appliance from Lowe’s and definitely not another Frigidaire product of any kind. The shocks went immediately! Now, once again, they need replacing! Sadly, I didnt get the extended warranty. I figured my last washer lasted 12 years and I never had a warranty on any of my other appliances, so I didnt need one this time. That was a big mistake because, unfortunately, Frigidaire doesnt stand well behind their appliances, and they dont stay working for long either! The customer service number that Lowe’s gives needs help too. They cant get scheduling correct, and their computers are down a lot. So, they say it needs to break 3 times on the same item to maybe get a replacement? For real? It is only 6 months old and I am on the second problem! Shame on Frigidaire and Lowe’s! Guess we better start shopping Home Depot. No more Lowe’s either!

We bought Frigidaire microwave thru Jeff Lynch Appliance, Greenville SC. It came with steel rack and glass round turn plate. On first day we put small bowl on the table with rice and biscuit the rack to warm up. It started sparking and burn edges of rack along with burn marks on the plastic tabs holding rack. Called Jeff Lynch. Platinum service tech came. He called Frigidaire tech dept and was told the Frigidaire can not warranty mis-application, we are not suppose to use rack. Jeff Lynch took same attitude. The tech said he can touch up burn marks. We had Maytag Microwave for over fifteen years and it had rack and turn rack. Used it exactly same way. Never arch. Few weeks ago it quit on us and we replace with Frigidaire. What a mistake we made. You are wasting your money with Frigidaire product and dealing with Jeff Lynch.

Six months ago, I purchased a complete Frigidaire kitchen from Comeaux Furniture in New Orleans. Early last week, the freezer went out and the temperature rose to 77 degrees before the authorized service repairman arrived. Four days later, the refrigerator side went out also and the temperature rose to 70 degrees. The authorized service repairman said the mother board went out, and it would take a week for the new part to arrive. Its now been two weeks without a working refrigerator or freezer in my house with four kids. And the only thing Frigidaire is willing to offer me is $50 for food, and an additional six months of warranty. I lost about $500 in food and have to eat out every night because of their defective product. I believe that the proper thing to do would be to allow the dealer to pick up this defective unit and replace it with another one. This could have been done in one day instead of two plus weeks. Frigidaire or Comeaux Furniture will not stand behind their products. I would never recommend either one of them.

2015 we bought all new Frigidaire appliances. Very disappointed. Refrigerator back Iced up and rusted out. Frigidaires fix was to put a 1 and 1/4 thick foam on the back of the frig. Now the fridge sticks out even further from the wall, I wouldnt be able to see if it were iced over with the foam on the back, and the ice machine hasnt worked the same since the repair. Our double oven burns food on the edges. Frigidaire put one of the largest burners towards the back so that the heat from the burner melts the face of the control board. Had it replaced once already and it is melted again. Our Dishwasher wont work on all the setting. If we select Power wash, we end up with water all over the floor. We get constant power failures also. If I could give a zero rating I would. Im surprised this company hasnt been sued. Last I spoke to Frigidaire, I was told that they could help me find a service provider and that once I pot them to fix the issue, they could then offer me an extended warranty. Seriously???

This may come as a surprise to many people, but Frigidaire is NOT part of General Motors. In 1979, General Motors sold the Frigidaire line to White Consolidated Industries (WCI). Less than a decade later, in 1986, the Swedish company Electrolux purchased WCI. Today, ELECTROLUX REMAINS THE OWNER OF the FRIGIDAIRE group. So while Electrolux might have been good at making vacuum cleaners, they apparently have problems with larger appliances. I noticed an another post that somebody mentioned American made in reference to his refrigerator. I am not sure if this applies to everything with the Electrolux/Frigidaire label, but mine is clearly labeled Made in Mexico.

I contacted the head of Electrolux Keith McLoughlin and a Rita ** called regarding my email. I asked for a complete refund. They want to refund the price I paid for just the Refrigerator when I got a better price because I purchased as a suite. The difference is $400.They also offered to replace with another refrigerator that is a different color and will not match other appliances. I again asked to have my entire purchase refunded. I have contacted the BBB and the Attorney Generals office in hopes to get this resolved. I dont feel I should get screwed when it is their products that are the issue.

Bought French Door fridge in July 2015 Model LFHB2741PF5A. Now out of warranty by 9 months. Started having lights go out on touch screen control then quit delivering ice. Have spent $700.00 dollars for replacing 2 control boards and ice maker motor. Lights now work on screen, ice maker still will not deliver ice even though ice is being made. Might as well be using ice trays. Frigidaire customer support response has been that even if I had the extended warranty they would only replace the parts and if it could not be repaired I would have to buy a new fridge on my own. No more Frigidaire appliances for me and please think twice and research before you buy.

I have what I consider a fairly new machine - bought in 2010. It has operated well with minimal use since my children have been grown since its purchase and since we own two homes (both with laundry) and use this less than half time. The last load I washed was fine. As I put a new load in, the error light showed E90 and it beeped. I could not get either to stop, so pulled out all the manuals that came with the washer and dryer that I got from Sears. Spent quite a while reading through all 3 to no avail. So looked online. Still there was nothing to let me know what the problem was. By this time I was feeling very frustrated. So I found an 800 number to call. I was shifted to 4 different people, repeating info several times. By the time I got to a tech, I was very frustrated. Then she could not find the particular Error code - Even with the info on her computer and available from me as to the specific machine! That seems strange. However the tech seemed to be sure that the problem is the computer board. Not sure thats the correct term. My last washing machine lasted over 20 years with no need for repairs. So I am extremely disgusted to find that the board will cost over $200.00 and the service fee will likely be at least $130.00. The tech tried to sell me an extended warranty for $215.00 (to save me money). This washer is only 4 years old! I feel hoodwinked. My washer in my other home is over 20 years old and is fine. Why would I ever buy another Sears product? Which is a shame, because I have gone to Sears for large appliances since 1971.

It has a great look to it as well as being easy to use. White in color, multiple settings, easy to see buttons, clear writing as well as big buttons. I haven't had any problems with this product. I would caution anyone any one who is considering purchasing a Frigidaire product. We purchased a complete Frigidaire Gallery stainless steel set of appliances for our kitchen. In 10 months, we have had issues with every single appliance. It first started with our fridge. The compressor was bad right when we received it. Our appliance vendor replaced it. Afterwards, it also started leaking water on our hardwood floors in our newly built custom house and spoiled all of our groceries. We called Frigidaire to file a complaint and also asked for a food credit to replace the $700 Costco trip we had just put in there. The response was basically, We dont really care and we dont do food credits anymore - read line 22 of your warranty.”When our appliance vendor finally replaced the fridge (what a battle this was), they gave us a free upgrade to a Frigidaire Professional series. Days after delivery, the fridge leaked a ton of water on the floors again. The repairman came and discovered a bad water valve and repaired it. A couple of months later, our microwave started arching. Talk about a scary and dangerous situation. We had yet another repairman out and he fixed it. While fixing it, he shared with us the philosophy of many appliance companies. They basically make cheap stuff and it needs to be fixed often. It’s a sad realization after you spend thousands on appliances. Just recently, we have had our gas range have a gas valve go bad and then our dishwasher flooded our kitchen due to a bad gasket. I have had to fight with the appliance vendor to get them to take our appliances back and allow us to get another line of them. It has been extremely frustrating. I dont even want to see the Frigidaire logo at this point and will never buy anything from them again. I would caution anyone who is considering Frigidaire. I wouldnt take something of theirs even if it was free.

I have a Frigidaire affinity front loading dryer. I bought the Frigidaire dryer that has a lint catcher in the front. The screen frame has large plastic taps at each side to prevent the screen from sliding to far in the slot. I cannot count how many times I have had clothes ripped, straps torn off and ruined by getting caught on the lint screen tabs. I have had a professional look at it. I have called on this issue and I am told there is nothing basically that can be done except I can purchase dryer bags used for pantyhose to place my clothes in to protect them. And the dryer screen is lose and allows lint to pass through the slot meant to catch the lint. This has resulted now in the dryer over heating and the element burning out in the dryer. Again, why did I purchase this dryer?

I purchased the gas range 2 years ago. Within a month something had dripped down on the glass of the door and when I attempted to clean it, realized I was unable to because it was between the two layers of glass! Most ridiculous design. Id noticed that the back panel gets very hot when the oven or broiler is used. Tonight Im unable to turn off the broiler. Ive just been reading some of the other comments made by customers and realize it will almost be cheaper at this point to buy a new stove by another brand than to buy another piece of garbage like this item has turned out to be. The knob design is ridiculous as well. Leaky and different than any stove Ive had in the past. Think Im turning it off and its not off but LOW. Item looks good but shoddy made.Refrigerator is the same. This item looks good but dents so easily because the metal is so flimsy. My shelves are made of plastic and glass and the plastic has become brittle with the cold and many are developing cracks. I would sadly NEVER, EVER recommend this brand to a friend again. I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator on 5/31/14 (approximately 6 months ago) from Lowes. The refrigerator portion stopped cooling. I contacted the 1-800 number and I was instructed by recording to enter my zip code. I entered my zip code and was told by the same recording that they had no service providers in my area and I would have to call a 706 area code number. I dont live in the boonies. I live in Scottsdale, which is a suburb of Phoenix, AZ. I called the 706 number and had to wait on hold for 30 minutes before the call was answered. I was told that they dont have any service providers where I live (once again not in the boonies, right next to Phoenix). They would have someone call my by Monday (I called them on Wednesday) and would schedule a service call then. Who knows how long from Monday it will take them to come out. When I explained that time was of the essence due to the fact that I store insulin in my refrigerator, it was suggested that I purchase a industrial refrigerator. I suggested that Frigidaire manufacture a refrigerator that last longer than 6 months. I was then asked to take a survey. REALLY????

We were deceived, as consumers, in purchasing a Frigidaire Professional (fridge) in June 2013. In less than 3 years of normal use, the appliance broke down. Many parts associated with the low-pressure header to the heat exchanger, as well as the heat exchanger, had to be replaced. The cost of the appliance was expensive and not of quality. The cost of repair was also expensive, close to $700 CAD since it was no longer covered by the ridiculously short 1-year warranty of the manufacturer. We are taking the battle using legal action against Electrolux as we could not get any decent level of service from them or their accredited repair company (South Shore of Montreal). Not-so-professional. Be careful!

Purchased the fridge in May 2016 model # FFTR1821QW. Within a month it started making all kinds of noises. It was under warranty so Frigidaire sent someone out to look at the problem. They said it was a fan motor making the noise and replaced it. No sooner than a day later, the same noise, called again. Sent someone out, said they didnt know where the noise was coming from. Called again, sent someone else out who stated there have been several people calling in with the noises that are coming from the product and theres nothing that can be done. It sounds like someone is knocking at all hours of the day and night plus a crap-load of different sounds. Frigidaire says it normal for all these noises and they sent me a form letter of all the noises this could make. Frigidaire says all these noises are listed in the Owners Manual. DONT YOU GET THE OWNERS MANUAL WHEN YOU ACTUALLY OWN THE ITEM?Do not buy this product. The noises are loud, obnoxious knocking constantly. Every day they keep getting noisier and noisier. $500+ may not be a lot of money for a company like Frigidaire, but to its consumers its a lot of money to spend on a crappy fridge. I bought a stop top from them when we built our house 12 years ago. After 7 or 8 years, one of the switches broke. There was no problem with this. I called to tell them that this part would not last and that I was sure it would break again. Their customer service department gave us no options! Well, a couple of years later, the part did indeed break again. We called CS again and was told that they would be glad to sell us another switch and that a repair technician would have to come and replace it. We would have to pay for that charge as well. After much hassle on the phone, they finally agreed to have him come out at no charge to us, because they thought we were not placing the switch in correctly and that was surely the reason it broke! Well, once again, the switch has broken. Our only recourse is to buy a 3rd switch for another $123 plus S&H. I have several issues with Frigidaire in regards to this issue! First, only one person that I spoke to today even tried to be helpful. I was transferred to multiple people and all of them seemed to be confused as to what they were supposed to be doing. They obviously do not understand what customer service really is. They kept asking me what I wanted from them. I told them the problem again and again and asked for a permanent solution to a very expensive problem! After replacing this switch 3 or 4 times, I could buy a new stop top! Not one person offered to send a new part out for free because of this being an on-going problem! Now, that would have gotten a raving fans review! I understand that they dont want to sell me replacement parts. They want to sell me a new stove top! But that is not what I expect from a company that advertises their products as top of the line and high in performance etc. Secondly, it is a crying shame for them to charge $123 for a small switch that probably cost them $5 or $10 to make! That is price gouging if I have ever heard of it. And the last time I checked, price gouging is illegal! I am so disappointed in this company and it is very unfortunate, because overall, I love the stovetop. When it has to be replaced however, it will definitely not be replaced with another Frigidaire product! I am curious to know if other people have had problems with this replacement switch (part no. 318078200)! This is the first time I have ever rated an experience with such negativity, but this has been the most frustrating situation! By the way, I found the switch on www.knobshopper.com for $29. Now what does that tell you?

Ive owned my Frigidaire refrigerator for two years. Within that time I have had 7 repairs -- mainly to the ice maker. I finally had the ice maker disconnected as I had stopped it through the panel but the fan was still running and making wild noises. Even unplugged it is making wild noises. If this thing catches on fire, Frigidaire is going to have a huge lawsuit on their hands. By the way -- right after the last repair, the handle of the bottom freezer fell off.

So, when my old fridge died, I went to Lowes and found my Frigidaire side by side. I love it! The adjustable shelves in the freezer really help with odd sized objects. The basket in the freezer is great for all my frozen veggies too! And did you know that two of the shelves in the fridge side pull out so you can reach the items in the back more easily. The glass shelves always look so nice and clean and the inset shelves in both doors can be moved too! The built in water and ice maker is a lifesaver when you need a drink! Crushed ice from the dispenser makes a soda the perfect temperature. The Frigidaire Gallery is a really great bargain at only $1100. This should be your next Fridge!

I bought this range in December of last year and already the top of the range is wearing away under one of the burners. When I contacted Frigidaire, they told me nothing could be done about it since it was beyond the 90-day warranty. I was also asked whether I used different sized pots on it! I was also offered touch-up paint for a cost of $22? I cant imagine what my stove top will look like in 5 or even 10 years. Frigidaire should be replacing my stove top as there is no doubt that the finish is defective.

This dishwasher hasnt worked correctly since first purchasing it in Feb 2020. I tried to return it to Amazon within weeks of initially buying it and was told I would have to try to get it fixed through the warranty. Amazon would not accept a return without an outside company verifying that it could not be fixed. Now- 10 months later, Ive been working with Frigidaire/Electrolux warranty repair and it is a NIGHTMARE. DO NOT buy any Frigidaire or Electrolux products. They are crap, their warranty relies on certified repair people to come out and those repair people are scamming.I have been getting multiple emails for months saying the repair people have ordered parts and they have arrived and when I call to schedule the appointment for them to come out as instructed, they tell me they have no parts and they will have to order them. Its very obvious that the repair company is ordering parts from Frigidaire and using them for something other than fixing my machine. Frigidaire will not do anything when I tell them that the repair people are lying saying that they are coming out with parts. All they tell me is that it has to be fixed because the repair company is saying it can be fixed. Its been 11 months now. Im saying that they can not fix it if it has been 11 months. I wish I would have read a review like this when trying to decide which brand to go with. My advice is go with ANY BRAND OTHER THAN FRIGIDAIRE AND AMAZON.

What the hell happened to this company? Their customer service sucks. I wish Id read YELP before buying a Frigidaire Refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher. 3 months after buying my new appliances the fridge stopped working properly. It would fluctuate between being too cold, and not cold enough. First repairman came out and said it could be a number of things, so he ordered them to be delivered to my house and scheduled an appointment. I waited all day with no contact or repairman showing up.I called in. First I called the serviceman, no answer. Next called Electrolux 844 number and waited on hold for 40 minutes listening to someone telling me the call would be answered by the next, blah, blah, blah. Then I hung up and called back... 20 minutes later they still didn’t answer so I called Frigidaire. A woman answered and told me one part was backordered, and they had attempted to call me Nov. 30th. Well that was a lie...no one called. I asked to speak to her supervisor and was put on hold for another 20 minutes. At that time I hung up and called back. The next agent said that no one had tried to call. So, now I find out that they knew the part wasn’t available but didn’t attempt to call me... The first woman had lied trying to make the fact that no one showed (when I took the day off) my fault. I insisted on speaking to a supervisor who said they are now attempting to find the part from another supplier and will call me to schedule a time once they locate it. Ill patiently sit here holding my breath. Frigidaire is an inexpensive brand... Now I know why. Spend a little more and get a better product with a company that has better service.
