We are on our second Liebherr Refrigerator within the space of six years and this second one is now giving trouble. The main part of the fridge (non freezer part) is freezing the food and there is ice forming at the back of it. These were expensive fridges and to be honest we feel now if we had bought something much more cheaper it would have been much, much better. We feel now that is probably what we will do and just get rid of it. It was so much trouble with the first one what with trying to get it fixed and replaced. After much contact with the company responsible then I dont think we could go down that route again. In the end we had to buy a new Liebherr fridge from them as the warranty had expired (this first fridge was only about two to three years old) but they did give it to us at a considerable discount to be fair. But all this after a lot of phone calls and general hassle. I would never touch a Liebherr Refrigerator again.

I bought a Liebherr refrigerator - CNes 4003, Index 20/001 in April 2009 and after almost 4 years, I found out that I should throw it away since the insulation at the back was destroyed and it could not be fixed. Obviously, this was the last thing I would expect to hear since I had bought this appliance for 1200 euros at the time from a trustworthy & reliable brand in order to ensure peace of mind. Luckily, my high expectations were not turned down. The customer service in Germany has confronted my case with great professionalism and in a timely manner and I was offered to exchange my appliance with a new one with similar characteristics with my refrigerator and free of charge although the warranty had expired long ago. I promised them to acknowledge their response and professionalism since I believe that apart from complaints, we should also share positive experiences and give credit to the people who are able to listen customers voice & respond with efficiency to fair requests. I have purchased a LIEBHERR single door refrigerator in August 2018. I thought that it is a new company. But while enquiring it is understood that it is it is a German refrigeration company with more than 65 years of experience. I took a chance and purchased it from their authorised dealer at Trivandrum. Till now product is working good and stuffed food is always fresh. Especially they are sending engineers for giving demo and clearly explained about the usages. Thank you Liebherr.

We bought the Liebherr when we were renovating our kitchen in 2009. I just opened the site to see how to make the freezer stop beeping. I was not surprised to see that we experienced just about every complaint in the recent postings. We had the second authorized repairman 8 times. I could not find the paperwork for the first repairman. Our first complaint when the refrigerator arrived was the pokey ice production. Our dealer contacted Liebherr and was told that Europeans dont use as much ice as Americans. That was a stunning reply since I bought in the US. Then we started having constant problems with the French doors closing. We had many visits from the first repairman, after which the second repairman , who seemed more knowledgeable, repaired the doors. We had to have the suction trim replaced. We also had a problem with the back of the refrigerator freezing, clogging the drain. The two drawers filled with water and the fresh produce kept freezing. The refrigerator has been a huge disappointment. From our experience, I would never recommend this refrigerator. My husband & I recall our parents having the same refrigerator for our entire childhoods. Those days are surely long gone.

I happen to change my refrigerator this summer season and happen to visit Harsha electronics near my place. This new brand called Liebherr is what I got introduced to and its features made the perfect fit for my kitchen. The product has had no qualms and have been using it for half a year with smooth use. If youre looking for the space, this is your best bet. Truly value for money.

LIEBHERR 265 new brand fridge purchased in July month 2019 which has problem. Within a week lot of water coming out from fridge and complain made to customer care for fixing. Now again issue repeated and freeze is not working at all. No cooling happening & complete shutdown condition of fridge. Issue again reported to customer executive on high priority but no one visited or communicated yet. I request people to be careful while buying freeze based on advertisement. I am already suffering with buying this product.

I bought Liebherr fridge in 2018..346l blue colour... Its really cool looking and good for modular kitchen... I recommend everyone to buy this fridge... But dont worry about reviews.. This is really best product.

Two issues: The main problem is a seriously flawed design in their model RI-1400 refrigerator. A fatal flaw that they should cover as a defect and not rely on the its out of warranty gambit. The problem. Every 18-24 months the temperature sensor fails and the refrigerator becomes a freezer. Totally useless at that point.Then the real issue. They refuse to support the problem. They rely on policy that I have to work through a dealer, even though not one within 100 miles. They WILL NOT sell me the sensor, even though I know its the problem and have fixed it myself once before. They forced me to order it through a dealer and they had issues of their own. They would not give them a price until they placed an order and they would not sell to them on account - forced them to use a personal credit card! When it works, it works great. But a refrigerator that fails every 2 years - like clockwork - is no bargain. And you will be without a refrigerator for days/weeks while you work through Liebherrs anti customer service. DO NOT BUY LIEBHERR.

After we moved into our new dream house, we wanted to get a premium refrigerator. Our close friend who have suggested me Liebherr. So we went to the shop and we had purchased liebherr easy fresh model and we found it best in quality. Loved the product

My wife and I bought a 24 wide x 79 tall Liebherr fridge in 2009 as we were told it was the best in that size. It was like $2800, the price of a used car I thought then. We live on a houseboat in Seattle. From the beginning we had problems - broken handles, shelves that needed mending with plexiglass and epoxy. But worst of all, we had to defrost the freezer at near weekly intervals. And the drain in the fridge compartment would freeze up or smell so horribly that we injected bleach with a syringe to keep the smell down. We are dumping this fridge (and describing its shortcomings to anyone who is foolish enough to get it) for a Bosch, which we are assured will be less challenging. Remains to be seen. I have never had a fridge this disappointing. All the others ran for years, decades even, and failed at the end of their lives - as expected. But they did not fail on a weekly basis. Best of luck to anyone who still has a Liebherr. Never again for us.

Bought an expensive Liebherr fridgefreezer in September 2016 which failed whilst we were on holiday 10 months later. So contents ruined and no compensation from Liebherr or Appliance City who we purchased it from. Independent engineer was sent to diagnose problem and was told twice by Liebherr to regas it, even though it was leaking! Surely dangerous and not going to solve the problem at all! So the nice engineer wrote off the fridgefreezer and we have spent 3 weeks trying to get a replacement under the warranty.Many, many phone calls and emails were needed to chase Liebherr and Appliance City. Neither of them would take responsibility for changing it, both trying to delay as much as possible and telling blatant lies about not having it in stock and exceedingly delayed delivery of another month before they could get one to us in the hope we gave up chasing it. New one just arrived... Will have to see how long it lasts! Great style and massive capacity though.

This is my second Liebherr refrigerator after the first one lost all the Freon due to the defective lining. They use aluminum linings which are corroded very fast. They replaced it after two years of trouble. The representative of the brand in Greece made a conciliation and they proposed to sell me a new one. I paid an extra amount of 500€ to receive a newer model which was worth around 800€. Within two years the problems begun! Now it runs for an hour it hardly cools and then the motor stops and doesnt kick in again. No more expensive worthless Liebherr refrigerators for me!!!

In July of 2014, the ice maker on my Liebherr stopped working. Annoying, but not unexpected. I just let it go. Then, not two months later, the freezer stopped working. Had a Liebherr referred repairman out to determine the temperature sensor was no longer working. As of now (November!), still no parts, no sign of parts, and now the refrigerator is not working. Liebherr has been HORRIBLE in trying to resolve this issue. Im selling the house and am ending up having to purchase a brand new unit. Liebherr, never again!

We have had our Liebherr refrigerator repeated every other month. Specifically, the ice machine. We could have purchased a brand new refrigerator for the same amount we have spent repairing it at this point. Bottom line..This product sucks! Buyer beware!!

I am so disappointed with my Liebherr refrigerator. I purchased it in 2008 and expected it to perform as it was advertised. Since purchase the ice maker no longer works, the side panel refrigerator shelving pulled off and broke, the back of the refrigerator is icing, the vegetable and meat drawers fill with water, and - last straw - the door handle broke off! Poor manufacturing and substandard materials completely negate the refrigerators convenient sizing. I feel foolish for paying so much for this carelessly made train wreck.

This is the most expensive fridge freezer we have ever purchased and it is rubbish. It doesnt seem to freeze food correctly and if I try to freeze an unfrozen item it can take 2 days to become solid. The warning buzzer is VERY ANNOYING, it is like a race against the clock to put shopping away. I just hate it, I wish I had never seen this make in Currys and stuck with the Whirlpool I had for years and just replaced the broken shelves.

In 16/09/2010 - 4 years ago I purchased SBSes 7353 Premium BioFresh NoFrost Liebherr Refrigerator. I knew (I thought) that it is very high quality and user friendly. And despite the high price relative to other brands I bought it. But week ago the BioFresh began to lose temperature. I called to local service and technician comes to check it. As he says there is a gas leak in the pipe located in the refrigerator body. And there is no way to fix it. The only option is exchange whole side (BioFresh and Freezer). And I need to buy it, which is half of whole refrigerator price that is only $1400! Another words after 4 years of use I need to buy new refrigerator!!! After that no response from customer service. No response for mails.

We paid over 1200 for the stainless steel Liebherr Fridge Freezer. What a BIG MISTAKE! We have had problems from the very start. The lights did not work then the door would not shut properly. A year after purchase the ice kept collecting and the fan made a horrendous grating sound. We have had the engineer over at least 5 to 6 times since we bought the beast! And at what a cost. It is outside the guarantee and warranty period and now constantly the Alarm keeps going off in the Ice compartment. I have to try and press the fast freeze or the Alarm buttons constantly to stop the horrible sound! Interrupted sleep every night! NEVER EVER WILL WE RECOMMEND OR BUY LIEBHERR! A WASTE OF MONEY AND UTTERLY USELESS! We had a Westinghouse before that for many many years...The only trouble we had was the light bulb change once! Eventually got tired with it and changed to Liebherr! WHAT AN EXPENSIVE ERROR! Please dont ever make the mistake that we have. The constant call outs have cost an arm and a leg! AND Liebherr....Customer service!! not sure why they call it that ....WHAT SERVICE #? They dont give a damn. Only want to make money by sending out expensive engineers who will rip you off and the problem reoccurs after a while.

We purchased the CS 20 7081 407-00 in November of 2010. Since that time, the ice maker has broken twice. The first time, the unit was under warranty and was replaced quickly. At the time the ice maker was replaced, the technician mentioned that the units were not well engineered and were a constant repair issue. Now we are out of warranty and face the repair bills for a piece of equipment that is poorly engineered and will surely break again. Dont buy this fridge with the ice maker, it will break and you will ultimately be stuck with the repair bills.

I will never buy this product. PLEASE Stay away from this company. I spent $5,000 on this unit and the company tried to correct it and it kept breaking. The refrigerator looks very nice but very poor quality.

The last time that happened, in January 2021, I was no longer able to resurrect the IceMaker. So I called a Technical Service, the next day a technician came, made a series of checks and determined that the fault was in the electronic board that did not give voltage to the mini-pump that supplied water to the ice bucket. As I am trained in industrial electronics, I disassembled that board, and made a magnifying glass inspection. The board appeared to be fine, with SMD components, and no components were burned. It was also varnished which made it resist moisture well. The technician sent me a budget amounting to € 250. This was not an exorbitant price to change a plate at home, but at a glance, that plate did not cost more than € 80 COST. It is already known that later prices increase with transport, working hours, travel, etc. (they charge between € 50 and € 60 per hour). What I already questioned was if the problem was with the plate. I then called another Official Service recommended by Liebherr. That technician started looking at the upper reservoir, as he said he doubted the plate was to blame. Looking a little over that reservoir (which includes the mini-pump), he determined that it needed to be replaced. He budgeted me € 425 for the repair, since to replace that tank the refrigerator had to be removed - it is paneled - between two technicians and therefore the labor became more expensive. As I am quite skilled, I disassembled the tank myself (which the technician did not do), removed the pump, disassembled it and saw that the little motor, which does not cost even 3 € in China, had the shaft stuck. I unhooked it and reassembled the pump. I mounted the tank, and the Ice Maker worked again. Seeing the reference of the mini-pump, searching the Internet, it appeared that it was made in China (of course) AND IT COSTS € 16. In other words, the Technical Service should know that replacing the € 16 pump does not require more than half an hour, it is not necessary to remove the refrigerator, and it would have cost me about € 150 instead of € 425. So it seems that the seminars of Training of these technicians leaves much to be desired.

We have a 36 double door - double freezer drawer model and love it. Recently, we purchased a 24 model and hate it! The 24 model looks great and is a conversation piece - until the compressor kicks in. You can not believe the sound! The factory authorized a guy to come down and listen to it - then they replaced the compressor. It is still noisy. They came back and told me thats just the way it is. Since they deemed that the noise is normal (its just as noisy now as it was with the original compressor), Liebherr will not pay the service contractor for his efforts! I am so disappointed with this company. I could yell. How can this smaller unit sound like an airplane taking off when the compressor kicks on, yet the large unit we own is nice and quiet? Definitely a design problem!

I bought Liebherr refrigerator 2 years back and now every part of it ask maintenance every after 2-3 month. For me its waste of money because if I could bought any Local Indian brand it would be more convenient for me and long lasting. Never go for Liebherr.

I had purchased the Liebherr fridge on August -2020 and since yesterday I am facing cooling issue. I had called customer care and their mechanic visited but in vain and informed me that there is a gas leakage and it can only repaired by Monday. I am surprised and asked him that in Mumbai you are taking 5 days to just to fill the gas, What we should do in this case. I requested lot of times but I didnt got any response... SUCH A POOR SERVICE and Quality of Fridge is very bad.. I suggest not to take this fridge.

I have purchased Liebherr refrigerator in month of August 2021 and from 23rd October 2021. Fridge is not giving cooling.. And we have launched a complaint on 23rd October 2021 as it was Saturday so we were not able to contact so we again called on Monday (I.E 25/10/2021) for complaint customer care people. They accept our complaint and told that they will resolve our complaint within 48 hrs. But still on 29/10/2021 they havent resolved our complaint nor technician has contacted us... After so many call and reminder to customer care everyday their answer is that they keep call on hold and talk with their fake service team and they pass on message that our technician will come in 1st half. This answer I am receiving from last 4 days and we take again followup that your technician has not yet came so the answer is that he is in your area only he will come but from last 4 days he is in our area but cant come.... And today answer after follow up is same that they will come in 1st half and plus they are not providing technician number also.... Worst worst worst service at all...

This is the first time we have ever written a review about a product as we are normally tolerant. Our experience with the Liebherr refrigerator has, however, been so appalling that we felt we had to write about it to warn others off. The problems we have had relate to endless issues with the ice maker, the doors not closing properly, the doors not staying open properly, the handle coming loose very early on and, more recently, the endless quantities of ice that are forming on the back wall of the fridge itself (see enclosed photo). Three months ago we were told that a seal would solve this problem and that it would take 4 to 8 weeks to deliver but we are still waiting. What is nice about the fridge is its look but to quote a well known cliche, Dont judge a book by its cover. Finally, the issues we had began just five months after buying the fridge.

The 48 inch unit has a refrigerator, bio fresh and freezer units. It had problems within the first 6 months. Ice maker cracked and stopped working; got it replaced twice. The plastic boxes for crisper in the refrigerator, bio fresh and freezer unit are extremely poor quality and cracked sooner or later. Bought replacements multiple times but had problems again. Had other problems and had to replace some sensors. Finally this year the freezer stopped working. The authorized service who charged me $1200 replaced parts but it stopped working within a week. Finally I was told by Liebherr that since the unit is 8 years old all they could offer is a 30% discount on the freezer unit but I will have to pay full price on the others - about $10,000! What a mistake - worst appliance I ever owned!!!

Ive had my Liebherr refrigerator for a several years now. It looks good, but so many things have gone wrong with it from the beginning. The inside sweats, a lot. It has sweat so much that water pools in the bottom, under the crisper drawer, if I dont constantly wipe it out. In the freezer, the ice maker stopped working. The ice tray cracked and the mother board failed. It was a mess because water flowed into the ice drawer and froze. Since this is considered a high-end appliance, the repairs and replacement parts were not cheap either. My complaint is that it is a piece of junk with a high price tag, plus huge repair and replacement expenses. Never buying Liebherr again.

If you think you purchased quality because it is German made think it again. After 5 month back and forth with their service department and dealing with different local service representatives they sent my refrigerator still is not cooling and no one seems to care. We are using our backup refrigerator in the garage.

I had friends and relatives who spoke quite highly of Liebherr. And because I trust their judgment, I decided to heed their recommendation. And Im so very glad that I did, because my experience with Liebherr has been nothing short of wonderful so far. Spacious freezer, output design, compact, portable and ease of use is off the charts. Indeed, most of the features are satisfactory. Theres VarioSafe room to store all of the cheeses, cold cuts, milk packs etc. That we consume as a family. Thats obviously a very convenience. One more feature, Spice boxes system is very useful for my masala storage. First time I got, Vegetable sorting system, this is very good helpful for my Vegetable storage.

I purchased 1 year back and technology very nice experience. Its noiseless and very much satisfied. Duo cooling Technology very cool feature. I am suggesting my friends and family members to buy this one to experience world class technology in refrigerator.

The ice maker on my Liebherr fridge stopped working a few weeks ago. The technician from Electra the agent for Liebherr in Israel diagnosed the problem and told me that for the parts and labor it would cost NIS2000 ($600) to do the repair work. I wrote an email to Liebherr Germany to tell them that I had sourced the same parts from their distributor in Holland at 50% of the price quoted in Israel. Germany sent a mail to Electra the Israel distributor and a few days later Electra called me to say that they would reduce the price of the parts to NIS1470 ($400). I subsequently brought the parts from Holland and had my own fridge mechanic do the repairs. He found that only 1 small part which costs NIS150 ($40) needed replacing as all the other parts which the Electra technician had said needed replacing were all in perfect working order.

I bought a Liebherr refrigerator. It was a excellent quality and cooling through is very correctly managed. Brand said insulation and services was good responsibility. So I love the product and services.

I am using Liebherr 220 Liters fridge since 8 Months, its working condition is simply Excellent. Faster cooling. Thick door Quality. Bigger vegetable box is very useful to us. I saw in other brands vegetable box is very small for storage. Easy to adjust. The shelfs are good.

The Liebherr Home refrigerator is simply horrible. I strongly recommend against purchase of a Liebherr refrigerator. The inside walls get wet with moisture. It ruins your food. The refrigerator is advertised as frost free. I have never experienced this with a new refrigerator before.

Excellent Guidance from selection of model to installation. On time delivery with minimum followup. Very friendly executives. Product Interior quality very high compared to other refrigerators. Very much happy to choose the right quality product.

Anyone who has read reviews of Liebherr refrigerators is aware that many are highly critical; most have ratings of 1-2 stars. There are also a lot of complaints about service assistance. That being said, our experience is different. We purchased two 28 refrigerator/freezer units when remodeling our kitchen in 2011. One unit has worked well until just recently. The other unit had multiple problems and after a number of attempts to repair it by several repair companies it was replaced, without charge, in January 2016. The second unit was fine until July of 2018 when the refrigerator temperature started to rise overnight, only to recover after the door was opened in the morning. After three service calls on this unit it too was determined to be unrepairable and it has just been replaced, at no cost to us, by Liebherr. Almost all of the interaction with Liebherr about the problems with our units was via email, and the customer service reps could not have been more helpful. As is obvious, we have had a lot of problems with these fridges. But the unit replaced nearly three years ago has been faultless. And the new units clearly show Liebherr’s efforts to make a better fridge. Newer door hinges, that self-close, are a real improvement. The new model has a metal indoor back panel to prevent the frequent complaints about the back icing up when food comes in contact with it. We went with Liebherr because of its clean, uncomplicated look and simple interior, and we continue to appreciate that. So I give 5 stars for customer satisfaction when problems arose. And 2-3 stars for equipment reliability, but hopefully their efforts toward continued product improvement will bring that rating higher. I’ll update after we have had the second unit for a while.

I was aware of the brand Liebherr. Came across the brand had launched refrigerator here in India since few years. I had got good review from a friend of mine and finally got one. Good refrigerator great space, quality. Loved the product.

Good performance. Low consumption of electricity. In this the have of alarm that when the refrigerator door is open the alarm run. It is good because we can know whether the door is open or not. The service are good.

Product is good with good cooling, door is hard to open. Once closing the door and try to open, one should hold the refrigerator and door handle to pull. I trying to open just with handle the refrigerator shakes by changing the position and food inside will shake and fall or spill.

We purchased a new Liebherr refrigerator in January 2013. Have had countless problems with the ice maker followed by endless service calls. The quality and workmanship on a high priced refrigerator as this completely SUCKS!!

I shopped for 2 years to find the perfect fridge for my small kitchen, and Leibherrs model was the best for many reasons, namely its exceptional 5 year warranty, sleek design and efficiency. Given that I have had 3 major parts replaced within its first year of use (note: I live alone so minimum wear and tear), I am grateful for the warranty. The two different local technical service companies that have repaired it have also been exceptional. My complaint is with Leibherr customer service in Orlando or Miami, FL at 866-543-2437 who I must contact to initiate a service call. Initially, they are responsive and helpful, but on at least two occasions they have sent the wrong parts, even when they have my correct model in writing. When one lives in a hot, humid environment and without a fridge for 2-3 weeks to wait for the needed parts and then wait another 3 days for the techs to schedule a visit, the inconvenience and expense of waiting is very stressful, at best. In addition, the service reps who answer the phone have given me wrong advice of how to mitigate the situation until the techs show up, i.e. not to defrost, not to shut the unit off, etc. When the techs come, they must return later after it defrosts or blow dry my unit before they can even start to repair it. Given my above efforts, I escalated to their management: namely Shauna and Chris. I was always told that they were in meetings and promised that they would return my call, which never happened. Initially, Shauna replied via email and offered to connect me higher management, but she never followed up. The rep who answered the phone refused to give me the last name of Chris, the manager at the site nor him email address. Please note that I have tried repeatedly to express my frustrations directly with them before writing this review. When one spends $3,000.00 USD on a small fridge, wouldnt one expect better customer service from the manufacturer?

We are a couple of seniors and easy on our appliances. We paid a lot of money ($4,706.31) in 2009 for French doors, 2 freezer drawer model Liebherr refrigerator. We loved the look and features showing in and out. Within a few short months, the insides’ starting falling apart. The drawer tracks kept falling off and the milk shelf restraints broke loose. Just five years later, just after the warranty was done, the inside of the refrigerator part started freezing up and frost formed all over the back wall. We hassled back and forth with Customer Service and they finally agreed to send us a part (Evap Motor). We had to pay to have it installed. Now we have it set at 40 degrees, and it still freezes some foods. I am so unhappy with this product and would not recommend it to anyone.

I had a Liebherr fridge/freezer for about ten years. It packed up so I decided to invest in another one. Bad move. We ordered a fridge/freezer and it was so noisy. Plus, on a number of occasions we thought we had closed the doors but we didnt and the freezer door doesnt have an alarm so our food had started to defrost. On our old model, the alarm went off. The shop that supplied our fridge/freezer came to inspect it and agreed it was very noisy and replaced it. The new one has exactly the same problem - its noisy - its like having a vacuum cleaner on in the corner of the kitchen. Plus, we have left the freezer door open now by mistake on at least four occasions - no alarm - I think you literally have to slam the door shut otherwise it will not close. I am so disappointed with my new Liebherr and I will never buy another product from them.

Overall like the unit even though the ice maker failed shortly after warranty and the freezer drawers easily fall out and break if not paying close attention.

In summer 2008 we bought for €1500 what we thought was a state of the art built in refrigerator, the Liebherr IKB 3650. Only 3 years later - in 2011 - the door started not closing properly and cooling was poor. The local service replaced (after 3 visits) the heavy duty door hinges for €200 (past warranty period). The year after - 2012 - cooling was poor again. They came again and changed a sensor, plus check the fan, for another €70-80. It started working again somehow better. In 2013 cooling was poor again (10-12 Celsius) and they came over and over, changing more sensors, for which they did not charge spare parts, only visit labour time €40.Finally in June 2014 cooling was poor again. The local service came another 2-3 times, charging another €77 for changing a sensor and check. Nothing happened. They came back and placed a monitoring device for 3-4 days. After this they said they have to replace the motherboard (€160), which they did, yet nothing improved. Then they said they must take it to their premises and fix it and this is what we did. After 23 days (!!!) they told me its ready and I have to pay another €193 for the new compressor motor, while the appliance is totally new!!!They brought it home, it worked for 10 days and then dropped dead. They told me it is not repairable, they can only return to me the value of the latest spare parts, buy it back by offering me a discount of €600 on the price of the new model and bring me the new IKB 3550-20. Pls note that due to the built-in construction in my kitchen, I have very limited choices for a fridge. I accepted, paying the difference of €500 and today they brought it. Reading the reviews on your site, I wonder if I made a BIG MISTAKE and if I should better find and buy another brand????

I bought a stand-alone Liebherr 4 drawer freezer and a Liebherr fridge in 2003/4 (12-13 years) and these have worked perfectly ever since despite never having had a service. I have had a fire in my apartment and the insurance company has written off the fridge and freezer as it would cost more to clean and test them than to buy a replacement. The kitchen was also written off in the fire so I am looking for built-in fridge and freezer for the kitchen (the stand alone units were in a utility room next to my roof terrace; useful for keeping beer cool). Because of my good experience with Liebherr I was thinking of buying this brand.As part of my search I came across the Consumeraffairs.com site with all of the negative reviews and it is certainly giving me some pause for thought. The most common fault appears to be the ice-maker which, as one respondent mentions, we in Europe seldom use. The second most common problem appears to be the doors not shutting properly, especially on the units with two doors, again something less used in Europe. I am a little more worried about the problems with ice forming at the back of the fridge, the number of components that just break, the unreliability of the temperature control and the poor response from Liebherr. Has the quality of Liebherr dropped in recent years. Have the products become more complex and therefore less reliable or is there a specific problem with US based products – I found one review from the Netherlands where I live among all of the US based complaints.

We have owned C 16 model of Liebherr refrigerator since 2014. Over that time, we have had multiple issues - from breaking shelves on the front door, to the front metal handle coming off, to constant leaking inside, etc. It has been non-stop, and we are sick and tired to dealing. Never in my life have I had issues with multiple plastic parts breaking of a fridge... We are a small family of three, so the problems cannot be blamed on the extensive usage. It is just a cheaply built appliance. Please, save your money, time and nerve cells, and stay away from this model.

Worst company ever! Sells bad units and doesnt care about their customers at all! Zero customer service and take no responsibility for their products. They dont stand behind what they sell. I paid $2800 for a 24 refrigerator and was told theyre comparable to Thermador. What a JOKE. Im stuck with a crap unit which hasnt worked for a single day and they wanna try to REPAIR IT!!! I inherited a brand new Liebherr Fridge (RB1400) and Freezer/Wine Fridge combo (WF1051) with the purchase of our home in 2013. Six months after moving in was the start to the line of issues weve had with the Liebherr units: September 2013: The freezer compressor was replaced. June 2014: The freezer compressor was replaced again along with several other system components as the technician was unsure why the compressor kept going out. December 2014: the freezer ice tray cracked and broke leading to no ice. A new ice-tray kit was installed.May 2016: the door shelving unit to the refrigerator cracked and broke. After living with no door shelf for eight months, we replaced it in December 2016. January 2017: the freezer again began to show signs that it is once again going out (i.e. the wine fridge is not keeping its temperature and the temperature alarm system goes off same signs that we experienced in Sept 2013 and June 2014). The Liebherr authorized repairman many suggested that we replace the sensor. We place the order for the sensor and waited a month for the install. When installing, the repairman realized there was a leak in the evaporator which is non-repairable because it is encased in foam.After speaking with Liebherr customer service about all of my prior issues and this, there is nothing theyll do for me except give me an approximately 30% discount for a replacement. HOWEVER, Ill have to replace BOTH the refrigerator and the freezer/wine fridge combo because the new freezer/wine fridge combos are utilize a different bracket and thus are not compatible with my older (but working) model refrigerator. There is no way Im replacing both sides with a Liebherr product after all the insane issues Ive experienced. Please DO NOT purchase a Liebherr appliance unless you are willing to spend thousands of additional money and time to deal with the issues you are bound to have.

Built quality and the design is an extraordinary when compare to other brands.. I bought Liebherr tcss2620 in the year of 2018.. from harsha electronics Mangalore. Working good and the flat design is very attractive. Will definitely give your kitchen a premium look, when comparing other brands it quite expensive but worth the money you are going to pay. Shelfs are easily adjustable and made my routine easier.. Loved this refrigerator. If you guys are planning to buy a refrigerator 200% you can go for liebherr and its a German originated company and also I would suggest my friends and family, thank you liebherr.

You dont happen to buy a refrigerator everyday. So I happen to visit the Vijay sales outlet with my wife for searching a new one and happen to see this new name Liebherr. The sales guy convinced me that the CNPef 4516 is the latest entrant in the market, however after some research and history it so happens that they have only been manufacturing refrigerators. So we decided to get it home. Its certainly unlike your regular refrigerator where its premium reflects on it being installed. A quick billing and a easy installation is all it took to bestow its presence in my kitchen, the cooling has been magnificent since day 1 and in a city like Pune where the heat can get extreme this refrigerator doesnt let you down. The easy to store vegetable bins and the cooling are the very fact that it does its job well. The freezer is different than others and can go up to -32 with the super frost is amazing.

I bought Liebherr Single door refrigerator few months back and warranty expired recently. Product was not since purchased due to corona period. We were unable to use it because of lockdown. Refrigerator is still brand new but lock is coming out of the fitment. When approached customer care and service engineer they asking service charges of 650 + 200 for such a pathetic lock. Such a new item, and quality of lock is 3rd class, it is made of plastic and they dont even bother to address the issue. I strongly recommend to look at lock quality before purchase and avoid the brand in India. We have many more worthy brands like LG...

IKB 3650 - I see Ive joined the Liebherr fan club. Ive also thought that buying a state of the art fridge is the technical and financial solution for many years. It became a technical and financial challenge for many years now. It also began shortly after warranty expiry date. It started to build up ice on the back plate and in the Biofresh zone. The temperature lowered to minimum (4 deg. C). No matter what I did it fell to minimum. The service team changed the NTC-sensor, charged 40 and good luck. In three years this happened four times. Also the door hinge damper loosened and doesnt do its job anymore. My SWMBO found out a trick. If the fridge is off for a couple of hours, then after she switches it on, it worked maybe for a week or so. But its an old trick and like all old tricks, its also not working anymore. Im guilty for buying the expensive piece of kitchen appliance, I hear every day. So all good men. Eliminate at least one reason for anger and dont buy the fancy Liebherr.

I have purchased the Liebherr 346 ltr double door fridge from Croma Mumbai (based on their recommendation) on 2.8.19. As I have full respect of German Engineering, I purchased it. The fridge was working fine but since mid Dec 2019 (ie. after only 3.5 months) the trouble started. I have not changed any control yet the freezer started forming frost (in a frost free refrigerator). Above all the bottom chamber stopped cooling (for which I had to throw away lots of expensive food items).Technician came and said that due to ice formation the fan on the bottom food section stopped and hence it was not cooling. He used a blower to melt the ice blocking the fan (perhaps) and adjusted temperature and fridge started working, but the food section was not cooling that well it used to. Today I have raised yet another complaint as the bottom food section stopped cooling again and upper freezer section is forming frost and ice as usual. I dont know when I will come out of this ordeal.... What an excellent German Technology I got!!! Not. I am waiting for the technician to visit me, till then I go for another round of expensive food waste.... Cheers!

When I went to buy refrigerator in the market, I liked the Liebherr refrigerator after seeing many brands there. The space for adjusting this refrigerator self is quite good. The vegetable box is also quite large. The toughened glass above the vegetable box is also very useful on which we can place our things. It also has a Spice Box option to contain spices which are not available in other refrigerators. Coolpad is a unique feature that can keep water cool in indoor and outdoor places. The power consumption of the Liebherr refrigerator is lower than other refrigerators. I am completely satisfied by purchasing this refrigerator.

Do not buy one of these refrigerators (Liebherr CS1350). My experience has been a nightmare. We cannot find anyone to work on these and we have been without our ice maker for 6 months. Sears even came out and said they could not work on this companys equipment. I am talking about Sears, the appliance store of all times. Why have one if you cannot get fixed???

Hope that my review will prevent someone from making a bad mistake. We bought our apartment in NYC with the 30 built-in refrigerator/freezer. Nothing but problems from day one. A fortune of money to try and fix broken seals on the doors, faulty compressors, back panel freezing and lack of draining. Customer service is horrendous. They actually told me to take a toothpick and clean out the draining hole every so often, however, it didnt work. The company is completely aware of all the problems with their products and are totally refusing to deal with consumer complaints. These refrigerators are not cheap and I am shocked that they are getting away with it. Someone mentioned a lawsuit, I think would be a good idea.

As the shelf of the defroster on which it is hold is been damaged on corner and can be seen only once we remove which is not noticeable unless removed 6 days back when the service technician came as a complaint was raise at Vijay Sale for the the problem which was taking place in the defrost section there was lot of ice getting accumulated kindly request to please replace the refrigerator as the technician has also mentioned in his service record and the refrigerator is 2 months old. Please note buying Liebherr refrigerator has been my worst experience with an electrical appliance bought ever. This is the first time we bought a Liebherr product with a lot of expectations. Within a 6-7 months use, we have had issues with extreme cooling, water leakage from fridge - leading to health & sanitation issues of my family. My family has also suffered from food poisoning due to spoilt food and erratic cooling conditions of the fridge. There used to be continuous water leakage inside the fridge spoiling all raw vegetables, masalas and also cooked food. There were times, when there was no cooling and sometimes extreme cooling. After logging a complaint for the first time with customer care on 23rd July **, a technician came within 2 days and mentioned that the issue needs to be checked and updated to head office for resolution. A second round of at least 10 follow ups thought 3 weeks, Arun ** obliged and assured that fridge will be replaced. This promise also seemed empty as it took more than a week and a series of follow ups to replace the fridge. Now finally after the packed fridge has arrived, my family has to go through another series of waiting for installation. Finally today I have a packed fridge + old fridge gone - with practically no fridge to use and another long wait for a technician to install. Engineers do not work after 6pm, but Liebherr is ok to have a customer have the worst experience since a month. This refrigerator has been constant trouble. Ive owned it for 4 years and 3 months and in that time Ive had 9 service calls (6 for refrigerator problems & 3 for the replacement of the original French doors that didnt close correctly and a seal replacement.) On top of that, I have a wood floor in my kitchen and this appliance is built in. Every time it has to be serviced, it has to be removed from the cabinet carefully so the floor is not damaged. When I bought it, I expected I would not have to remove it for a good 15-20 years, until I had to buy a new refrig. But after owning this for just a few months, the refrigerator stopped working and I needed a new compressor. It took the service company 3 visits and multiple hours to determine this. I was without a fridge for more than 2 weeks. When I asked the company to pay me back for the lost food, I was told they didnt do that. Now, I need a second new compressor and despite the fact that it was put in last Friday, the refrigerator is still not working. 10 days after I called, I am waiting for another part that hopefully will make this big boy work. Again, no refrigerator for 1 1/2 weeks. The Scottsdale service rep (Jerry) blamed the repair people (who were doing their best to figure out what was wrong) and he never apologized to me for any inconvenience when I spoke to him. His attitude was rude and unhelpful. He told the service people that I was very close to the end of the 5 year sealed system warranty anyway. He did agree to pay for the part. I asked him if I had a lemon or if all Liebherrs were like this. He was evasive and attitude and told me there was nothing more he could do other than call Germany! This refrigerator was expensive, but its been a constant aggravation and I would never buy another one. When it dies, as Im sure it will in the not too distant future, Im going to spend the additional money and get a Sub-Zero.

The 24 Liebherr refrigerator that came with the apartment I purchased is a piece of junk! It was just about 5 years old when the original owner paid over $600 in repair costs over 2 repair visits... Just a few months later I needed to replace the sensor for another $500. Now it is only 2 months later and once again the refrigerator is not maintaining cold temperature. I refuse to put another nickel into this terrible appliance and will have to replace it. Liebherr service was not at all accommodating! All they were willing to do was give me the names of authorized service companies which charge $200 just to walk in the door.

The 24 cannot keep a steady temp. The back wall of the No Frost freezer is thick with ice and its alarm beeps throughout the night (need to wake every 3 hours) but this is not all. Yesterday as I tried to nudge a recalcitrant freezer drawer in place with a small push, the under separation panel (made in glass!!!) jumped out to hit me and land on the floor to shatter in thousand pieces... A repair man came today and had the nerve to scold me about being too rough with the drawer. Its very sensitive you must be very careful!!! (I am in Spain where I guess they dont know about quality fridges.) Oh ya, a real beauty!

I found Liebherrs Facebook site (for their excavating equipment) and wrote them a nasty note saying I hoped their excavating stuff worked better than their fridge/freezers. I heard back from them immediately! So I sent them the entire story. They got in touch with the store it was purchased from and who did the repairs. Liebhherr agreed to pay for all parts/labor for repairs. It seems that all the freon had leaked out! Ive never heard of this in some 50 years of owning fridges of various makes and ages. Their repair people couldnt even find where the leak was so Liebherr replaced the entire unit (and as they had changed the dimensions since the original unit was purchased, they also replaced the fridge part). So Im satisfied, but it took public shaming on FB to get anything done. However, I would never recommend their fridge/freezers to anyone. Dont know about their excavating equipment.

Liebherr side by side fridge is worthless. The first one I had did not cool and the ice maker didnt work. It also developed and awful smell. After countless repairs and a many phone calls they finally replaced it (but not without a huge fuss). THe replacement had similar issues plus the handle broke off the door, the front of the freezer drawers broke off and the drainage line was always clogged and dripping into the freezer causing ice buildup that has to be chipped off or the door wont shut. I send the repair service photographs of the broken handle which after 4 weeks with no contact said they had to reorder because it came in bent. (A solid rod of stainless steel?? I doubt it). Then they said I should fix it myself because I was a difficult customer. NEVER deal with this brand.

CS1311CS1360/07011/7084638 - 00. One shelf on the door broke off after 3 months. The butter compartment broke as well. Now the actual handle on the refrigerator door broke off completely and there were 4 plastic parts scattered on the floor! Were I a very strong woman I might have thought I opened the door too quickly or carelessly. I have always had little arm strength and am frequently called delicate! I am blamed repeatedly for every issue. Having owned 2 extra large SubZero refrigerators in my former home and had no problems with either one, I know it is not me that is making this happen.

I bought this fridge in November last year for my Parents who are living in India and it broke down in 7 months. It took ages to get someone to look at it and so it took another few weeks to get the part ordered. Now company won’t have people who can come and fix the part and every time we call they are giving us different dates but no one is showing up on any dates given so far.When other family member called and ask if we can order a new fridge and when can we get delivered the response was straight away, We can deliver you next working day. So company have people to deliver the New fridge but not to attend the service for broken fridge. When we ask why is it like that the company spoke person don’t have answer for it. My parents are senior citizens And living by themselves and now have to struggle with this situation on daily basis and don’t have any fridge to store food from last few weeks have to buy daily essentials everyday especially in Covid pandemic when they shouldn’t be going out much. There is lack of customer care and no one is being helpful even though fridge comes with 10 years warranty. This is the product that could be great if only the parent company would allow it to be great. Some of the problems weve encountered have been solved (for our needs, anyway). The major problem has not. Some of this will help you, I think. Some of it will annoy you more. Icing on the back of the fridge. There will always be frost and, especially in humid climates, some ice on the back of the fridge. This is a compromise for the depth of the fridge. We put meats and other items like pickles, etc, at the very back of the fridge to keep them as cold as possible. Theres a risk of it freezing if you rest it against the back. We live in an apartment and are used to these compromises. If you live in a house, get a bigger fridge that cools itself more traditionally.Icing and drain plug clogging. These are related issues in our experience. For whatever reason, the fridge circulation fan is defaulted to the off position. With this off you will get a lot more icing on the back of the fridge. This will then clog your drain plug with ice. Turn the fan on and occasionally check to see if it is still on - a power outage will turn it off again. Weve had it running for about a year and no more ice issues.What to do if the drain plugs up. You will need to defrost the fridge completely and have it turned off - leave the doors open. Wait until the ice melts. If there are sheets of ice, wait until they sort of melt, then pull them out - otherwise, expect large puddles. We poured some hot water from the tap (not boiled water) into the drain to help it along, but that took forever. Nows a good time to clean the back wall of the fridge. Not too bad, all things considered.FINALLY: THE ICE MAKER -- this is the worst part about the fridge. If the parts were cheaper, it would be an Ok compromise. It is a small unit and will provide enough ice in the Summer for a couple people who drink ice water all the time. Family amount of ice? No. Problems: the ice tray itself. Our first one lasted about 2 years. Consecutive trays, much less. It has broken in a couple ways: First, the thermistor attachment assembly breaks off the ice tray. Ice stops working. Second, the plastic tray (because it is torqued to remove the ice) gets cracks in it. You then get water and some ice cubes. The water then freezes the ice cubes that do make it out and it freezes into one solid mass on the bottom of the ice tray. Fun.REPLACEMENT COST. Can you buy just the plastic ice tray? No, you have to buy one ice tray, one thermistor assembly, and two plastic parts that never break. Ever. Cost - $150+ shipping. So the only part that ever breaks is the plastic ice tray and the plastic retainer of the thermistor. So, every 9-15 months the ice cube tray gets cracks or the plastic part that keeps the thermistor in place breaks. If it was $20 we would be Ok with it - again, were used to these kinds of annoyances and compromises living in an apartment. Its also pretty easy to replace. But $150? Please.Finally, Liebherr. Its clear they just dont care or they think that if they did sell just the ice tray + thermistor part that this would be admitting something wrong? Considering what theyre involved in besides fridges it would seem that worrying about these products is the last thing on their minds. If people keep buying them they will keep making them, *even if the products are not reasonably serviceable*. That, or because of their price point they think wealthier people will just have them maintained and not worry about the cost?Who knows. Either way, if you buy one of these dont expect the greatest service, nor any help from Liebherr itself. I would expect that the service companies just dont sell enough of them to be experts and their access to inexpensive parts is the same, although I really wonder what wholesale prices are. In case Liebherr ever reads this: I would never buy your products again, but for now were stuck with it.

The worst purchase I have ever made. I write to advise consumers to avoid Liebherr fridge freezers at all costs. I purchased a Liebherr fridge for my daughter in October 2016 and my daughter has been experiencing problems ever since. The fridge had never run at the proper temperature. The temperature is never constant and is always below 38F, it is closer to 50 and lower. We have been told that there is nothing wrong with the fridge. Now we have been told to keep the fridge-freezer at the highest setting at all times! The company refuses to accept the fridge-freezer is faulty. My daughter is therefore stuck with a malfunctioning fridge that is unlikely to last much beyond its 2-year guarantee.

Liebherr fridge freezer Model 1611 - I bought this freezer fridge combination in 2011. Now in 2014 the freezer door seal does not work properly anymore and ice is building up near the door seal. Having a seal fail just a year after the warranty expires, I consider as very poor quality for an appliance that was over $4000 in 2011. When I called customer service for a replacement part I was told that the part is on back order and no time of delivery could be given. So not only do Liebherr appliances break but they also have a subpar part service at least in the USA. Also the replacement requires gluing and is not for everyone. I cannot recommend buying one of those again and would rather go with a Bosch or GE freezer/fridge in the future.

I purchased 2 machines (CBN 3913 and CN 4003) in Sept 2011 and they were installed in a completely renovated kitchen in Oct 2011. CBN 3913 broke down on June 17th 2014. I contacted the service immediately and got someone to see it on June 25th (the earliest possibility for them). The mechanic said the machine is beyond repair and a few days later at the end of June it was agreed that I would get a new machine at the cost of the work. I have tried to enquire a couple of times with no response. I have been in readiness for my entire vacation to let the refrigerator be installed. The heat of July has caused a lot of inconvenience with the refrigerator missing. I wonder if I will have to wait for the other one to break down and get some cheaper and longer lasting machinery instead.

As you know if youre reading this a Liebherr Refrigerator costs as much as a decent used car. For that kind of money youd think you would get quality. Youd think if something breaks there would be a repair network for it. Youd think the customer service people would try to help. Youd be dead wrong on all counts. I have had a Liebherr refrigerator freezer that has been a continual nightmare. The icemaker has been broken almost since we installed the appliance. Weve given up on that after endlessly trying to get it fixed. Now the freezer is not working. For the past three weeks we have had no freezer. I cannot get a repair person out here. I live in a major west-coast metro area. I could understand that it would be hard to get a repair if I were in some remote location, but that is not the case. Of the repair people Liebherr recommended only one would respond. They came out, pulled the unit out of its cabinet, damaging the veneer in the process. Took the back off and decided that another person would have to come out and look at it. For this they billed me $160. After a week, I called and was told they couldnt deal with it. I had the credit card company stop payment and were still trying to resolve that. Second person was from about 50 miles away and would only come out if I agreed to pay him $300. Cash only, no checks, no credit card. I agreed because I need a freezer. He did nothing. Ran some diagnostics. Told me I needed two parts and he would only come back if I paid him another $300. Cash. And Id have to get the parts. These are the best people Liebherr could recommend. This is so sleazy that it borders on criminal. I decided Id had enough with Liebherr and went shopping for a replacement unit thinking Id be better off just cutting my losses at this stage. As it happened the local rep was in the store when I was there. He told me hed work to get it straightened out. So, several days later repairman number 3 shows up. He takes the freezer apart and decides he cant do anything and anyway, hes going on vacation for two weeks so hell get back to me. I have spent untold hours on the phone with these people. I have dealt with three of their repair people. The only thing I have to show for it is a $300 cash payment to one of them and a credit card battle with the other. My freezer is still not functional. My icemaker has never worked. You would be out of your mind to buy a Liebherr anything.

Our experience with Liebherr Refrigerator has been appalling to say the least. We moved into our new house in 2004 and I would think on average the fridge has broken down every three years. The temperature dial for the fridge keeps going haywire. And of course it is always just out of warranty when this happens. Its cost us a small fortune getting it repaired and not to mention the really stressful situations this causes when it happens again and again. I find the suppliers/service people here in Ireland totally inadequate in their response. I dont think once I got an apology from them for all the stress their product has caused. I would not touch any Liebherr product ever again and would advise anybody to run a million miles from them also.

Hi guys, LIEBHERR Refrigerator is a good brand in our India because its a Germany brand and hes cooling and hes service. I used LG and Samsung fridge but not LIEBHERR Refrigerator is best compared to others brand.

I have owned a Liebherr fridge since 2012. The refrigeration has generally been good. Temperature is maintained in both compartments. The main issues, and there have been many, are structural as well as electronic. The plastic shelves have cracked as have the freezer bins. The ice maker fell apart and had to be replaced..The tracks on the two freezer drawers often get stuck. The main control panel had to be replaced. The unit beeps constantly and no one has had a solution. I have had to spend over $2000 on service calls and parts replacements. Buyer beware!

I purchased a Liebherr refrigerator from Abt in the Chicagoland area. The salesperson promoted it as a high-quality appliance, and it was costly. Yet it has been a source of aggravation and expense since the purchase; the temperature panel and door hinge (all plastic parts) break every two years. I am now waiting for the 3rd repair of these parts and hoping my food doesnt spoil, because the door now pops open at random times. On top of this several of the units drawers and shelf tops are also broken; they dont latch in place and often fall off/out. Because they are also made of thin plastic they easily crack. I would nor recommend this product.

We purchased a house in NYC that had this built in refrigerator/freezer. It looks beautiful as a built in, but thats about the end of it. It wasnt that old (2 years old), but the previous owners had given up on it working. We had the Ice Maker repaired for a few hundred dollars...only to have it go bad again 6 months later... The repair company actually asked us not to try and repair it because they said the brand is so incredibly bad. We had it repaired again and again. Why? Because it will cost $7k to replace it (similar to the original price). For that much money, an appliance better live for about 20 years. The problem with the ice maker was 2 things... the ice maker was broken, but it only works when its below zero. The temperature control is so bad in the freezer that my Ice Cream melts and is always soft even when the temp says 4 degrees. The reviews Ive seen from others on this brand are quite similar. Id never in 1000 years want a product from this company again.

Liebherr as a brand has a good reputation and it is actually specialist in Refrigerator product. Some special things which I wants to highlights:-# Door foam thickness is very heavy in comparison with competitive brand products which I find out help in maintaining cooling retention in whole fridge.# Moon Cut Toughened Glass Shelves which very easily without giving strain to your back help in adjust shelves at different heights without removing & re insert, this feature especially adore by my mother and per inch adjustment options is also excellent & life saver.# Vegetable Sorting System in vegetable box is unique & it helps to store fruits, vegetables in systematic manner which prevent Odour mixing & things are easily to search also.# Unique drawer for keeping small items like my sons birthday celebration. I have keep leftover cake in same which actually save space & this box is also adjustable which is superb actually.# Cool pack is actually very useful like I use same in my terrace party I keep beer, cold drinks on it for maintaining chillness for longer.# Special boxes for spices my wife gives 5 star as I belong to typical north Indian family so keeping spices in these boxes increase their aroma freshness & prevent Odour mix up in other things as well.# Shelves quality is very fabulous. I was quite stunned to find their flexible storage options.# One more thing which I like the most is their cooling part, freshness of product which kept in same is very excellent. I definitely give full credit to their Compressor which they call Next Gen.In nut shell being a German brand product quality, design, innovation plays important role & moreover they work on 100% space utilisation, all utility features & superb energy efficiency like just a 221 units per year energy consumption is quite fabulous I found, I believe 5 Star Ratings to performance.

I was bought in last year, but till date something happened in my fridge (ex. Vegetables spoiled). I approached for services, but their services are not good. After 1 year waranty expired, now I am asking for same issues in my fridge, but they told charges applicable. In waranty time they are not solve this problem in corona lockdown period. Till they want charges. So Products and services are very bad.

I had purchased a Liebherr twin door refrigerator but very next day itself its started to works in abnormal condition, not getting cooled in lower portion of the refrigerator, their authorised service person told me that in India Liebherrs almost all products are having many manufacturing defects, so I am telling here that with my personal experience is that dont go ahead with their product.

Within a month of purchase, it started giving cooling issues. The vegetables are getting soggy. Although its a frost-free fridge, the freezer has ice frost accumulated badly. After complaining several times there is no action. Overall worst product.

This Liebherr CS1660 refrigerator was so beautiful, I loved it and it was perfect for my kitchen remodel. I love the counter depth and tall height. Unfortunately that was the only good thing about the refrigerator was the look. We have had 5 major repairs in the 4 years we have owned it. The repairs involved major malfunctions involving the ice maker (water leaking all over my wood floor), the defroster broke, some other major motor broke, the door handle fell off and the freezer motor broke (sorry I dont know the technical terms for each part). The plastic shelves on the door just fall out randomly and so are now so broken. They are now destroyed. I am so disappointed with the fridge. Thank goodness I purchased the extended warranty - the last repair was over $400. I no longer use the ice maker as the repair person said it will definitely break again as it is the same cheap plastic part being replaced. I loved this refrigerator so much and am so disappointed at the terrible quality and the number of major problems I have had. I still cant believe I paid over $4000 for this refrigerator and had a breakdown within the first 6 months. I dont normally write negative reviews but I sure do wish I had read the reviews of this refrigerator before purchasing.

Liebherr Refrigerator freezers: I purchased these 2 units at an auction at Elite Appliance. They were sold as new but with cosmetic issues. They worked for 7 months, then both units failed. When I called for service, I was told that these were not new, rather they were second hand. No one would take responsibility for the lie. Not Elite Appliance, Almo the distributor that sold them the units, or Liebherr. Pieces of junk. Do not buy!

I buy Liebherr fridge 2022 January red colour first. I think new brand wired but product after service but after sales and service good, product also excellent, this is my 2nd fridge compare with my old fridge. This is excellent space and adjustment, big vegetable box. Good product given by Liebherr.

The quality is very good... The freezer has a nice space.. You can freeze more things at a time... I have purchased it in last year Oct 2019. Compact and sturdy build quality, Good cooling effect, low noise, wide range in-built stabilizer. No need to put any stand below the fridge. Leg size is sufficient to clean the floor below, Compressor seems to be of good quality. Low cost compared to similar other brands.
