I purchased a new double wall oven in Oct. 2012, and was generally happy with it. The first time we tried to use the self-cleaning feature, after several months, after a while running the self clean, the oven showed an error code and then shut down. It worked fine otherwise, but we have not been able to self clean. In the past month, we have started getting the same error code (F43) when using the oven for regular cooking as well. Although we could tolerate the lack of cleaning, we are now trying to fix. Frigidaire initially would not help, as we are out of the 1-year warranty period. Then they offered to pay for parts, provided we use an authorized service technician. They sent me the 3 service technicians in my area, and 2/3 did not return my phone call. The third came out and reported that the labor alone to fix the oven would be over $400, requiring replacing of a fan and a sensor. I contacted Frigidaire again, expressing my dissatisfaction with the oven, and telling them I didnt see a reason that a new oven should require these new parts, as well as being unhappy with being forced to use a particular service company, who seemed to be charging a very large amount. Completely unhappy experience, and I will not be buying a Frigidaire again.

I cannot believe this company. We bought all Frigidaire appliances for our new home. After 4 weeks our refrigerator needed to be fixed. Now one month after our warranty ran out the motor in our dishwasher burnt out and set a fire inside it. We contacted Frigidaire about this and were told that they would cover the parts, which is the entire machine, but will not cover a new machine (which we were happy with at first) until we were informed by 2 separate repair companies that it is impossible to fix. We again contacted the company and were basically told better luck next time. Shame on this companys customer service.

I have six major Frigidaire professional appliances and have had issues with four of them within the last two years of purchase. Warranty is only a year. Have been without a stove since August 23, 2016. Fridge still binging and banging, fan was replaced. Washer leaks and clothes smell. Dryer door broke off. Public Electric is the service provider, not reliable at all. I think its time to call a lawyer.

Purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator from Lowes in April 2016. Since then we have had the repairman out five times. First three times fridge made loud clicking noises, still does, was told it was normal even though we know better. Now for two times in a week, freezer went out. We are out $250 in food and no one cares. All he did was put a Styrofoam piece in fridge to regulate air, worked for less than a week. Got home from food shopping freezer is thawed out again. Cannot come out till Monday. We are told Frigidaire knows this model is a lemon but they continue to sell them as we are told because they have a warehouse full of them. Why would Lowes continue to sell these models knowing they are bad? Whatever happened to standing behind your product? I guess making money selling bad products is Frigidaires way of doing business these days... Buyer be warned.

In 2015 I purchased new oven, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. I have had problems with all except for the microwave (of course the least expensive item). I will never purchase Frigidaire products again. First, the dishwasher started leaking right away, within a week of installation. That was an easy fix. Soon, I noticed that the dishes really dont come out very clean. The repairman came out and told me it is working right, make sure to use the best dishwasher soap. The dishes have to be practicality clean before they go in. My old Whirlpool worked much better. Ice maker keeps breaking on the refrigerator. On the third time now. Had to buy the extended warranty. Oven push button panel already has been replaced once, out of warranty, now it is beeping and not working again. Very sorry I bought this junk.

BUYER BEWARE! In March of 2015 I purchased all new Frigidaire smudge proof appliances, spending almost $6,000.00. I am not impressed at all. Right off the bat, I had an issue with the dishwasher. It was not drying the dishes, I had to manually dry the dishes as I put them away. After several days, I knew something was wrong, so I contacted Lowes (where I purchased them) and they made an appointment for a Frigidaire service call. The gentleman that came out to check it out, was a little surprised to see there was no fan or blower located in the dishwasher which normally dries the dishes, so he contacted Frigidaire for repairs.Needless to say, I was told by the Frigidaire folks that The dishwasher was working the way that it was meant to. With the new technology no blower or fan is needed. What you need to do is after the cycle runs, (which takes about 126 mins or so on a normal cycle) you must open the door and let the hot steam out so the dishes can dry. REALLY??? LOL, I run my dishwasher at night while sleeping, if they think Im going to get up at 2 in the morning to open the dishwasher door so the dishes can dry they are nuts. If this is Frigidaires new technology, I suggest they go back to the old way. (Not happy.)Next is the Refrigerator. The Ice maker is horrible. You can stand there for several minutes and IF youre lucky an small ice cube will dispense into the glass. By the time you get an entire glass of ice, its already melting in the glass. And forget it if you need a lot of ice (ex: in an ice tea maker) it does not make enough ice for that. (Not happy.)Lastly is the Range. After 2 weeks, which I used it 3 times I noticed little bubbles started to appear on the smooth top range. At first I thought it was dirty so I used the little pad and the bottle of cleaner that came with the Range, but to my dismay I realized the smooth top is bubbling, so again I contacted Frigidaire and they sent someone out for a service call. The gentleman looked at it and took photos to send in for review. After 3 weeks, when I had not heard anything I contacted Frigidaire. I was told that some how I had damaged the top and they would replace the top, but I would have to pay almost $200.00 for the part!!! Wait a minute, I had only used it 3 times, and did not scrap it or spill over on it or anything, how could I have damaged it??? First of all I had a Whirlpool smooth top range for 20 yrs, and never did the top bubble like this, and YES, I did spill things on that from time to time. So I guess this means that Frigidaire ranges are not able to handle any normal spills! (Not happy.) The only good thing that I can say about this product, is the smudge proof coating, yes that is a nice feature. Will I ever buy another Frigidaire product - ABSOLUTELY NOT! Will I ever recommend a Frigidaire product - ABSOLUTELY NOT!

I bought a set of products including dishwasher, fridge and stove from Frigidaire. Purchase about 2 years ago. Fridge is bottom freezer, the bottom piece plastic is broke off, the ice machine works about 50/50. The dishwasher has rusted out, the stove is holding up well as well as the mic. I would not recommend the products. I will stick to Samsung or GE.

Purchased a suite of Frigidaire products in May 1014 - fridge, range, microwave and dishwater. From the beginning I had problems with the fridge. The freezer frosted over and was icy. I called a repair company and was told the gasket had to be replaced (on a new fridge???) and had to be ordered. I waited a couple of weeks and after numerous calls was told the part (gasket) was on back order. What does that mean??? I was told to call Frigidaire and did so. What a runaround. They told me I would have to wait for the part which may be in Aug. 4th. Asked to speak to a supervisor who told me they could only give me a ETA on when it would be available and I would have to wait. Wait to fix a broken fridge that I only had a couple of months. I complained. I wanted it replaced and they said they DO NOT REPLACE only repair. They specified they were not refusing to fix, but I would have to wait for the part which would hopefully be in this year (exaggeration). This is deplorable conduct. I have to suffer with a broken freezer until the part becomes available. I never heard of such a ridiculous answer. I contacted my salesman and he is getting in touch with their rep. I have read so many complaints about this company that I think I will have to get rid of this fridge and take the loss. Frigidaire, you are on my you know what list.

I have bought a package deal over a year ago - Fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher. The first week the stove broke. Under warranty but took 2 weeks to get it fixed. As soon as the 1 year warranty is over my fridge is not working. I have a fridge in my garage that I had for 15 yrs and never had a problem. I will never buy a Frigidaire again. As mush as appliances cost they should at least work for 5 yrs not 1.

Updated on 05/27/2020: This is an update to a post of an original review July 18, 2019 on the Frigidaire FFAD5033R1 dehumidifier. I did receive a replacement unit from Electrolux later in the summer of 2019. I was surprised as it just showed up in a box at my door. I used the dehumidifier the rest of summer 2019 with no issues. It is now almost June of 2020 and Ive powered it up for the summer. I am very disappointed to say that its already displaying the FO error code. Not even a full summer of use to this point. Ive sent the required information to Electrolux, again. I dont understand why they dont fix whatever the issue is with these dehumidifiers, or totally scrap the design and start over.Original Review: I purchased dehumidifier in 2017, used for that summer and 2018. Turned on in 2019 and found that refrigerant had leaked out, due to rust all over evaporator coil. This explained a reddish color in water when I dumped the tank. I didnt see the rust until I removed the back cover to inspect. I contacted Customer Service. They send a form and instructions to complete for unit replacement. I complied, but its been 50 days and response. This unit was obviously rusting from the day I purchased. Ive seen other complaints with pictures showing the exact same issue that I had. The design is faulty and Frigidaire no doubt knows this, but assumes it will be out of warranty by the time it totally fails. This was the last Frigidaire product I will ever own. Buyer beware! If you do take a chance, you should probably remove whatever covers you can and inspect as soon as you get it home.

We purchased over $4,000 of new appliances when we remodeled our kitchen in 2010. At the time, Frigidaire was the only company that produced a smudge proof stainless counter depth refrigerator. This is by far the worst buying decision I have ever made after buying appliances for 40 years. The dishwasher racks and the stainless front panel began to rust at 3 years old. The refrigerator never ever cooled properly causing to lose produce to freeze and spoil. The temperature constantly fluctuates, consequently, your temperature control does absolutely no good. If you lower the temperature to keep products like milk, butter, jellies, etc., at 37 degrees the produce compartments go below 32 degrees. We just paid a $430 repair bill for a new control board and we still have the same cooling issues. There is most definitely a design flaw with this refrigerator! The microwave had to be replaced due to failure. It simply stopped at 4 years old. The slide in stove has not caused any problems except for cleaning the glass top surface which requires more work than the floors. Everyone that reads this review should believe every word and please take my advice... STAY AWAY FROM FRIGIDAIRE!!!

Frigidaire Gallery Series purchased in October 2013 are bad. Purchased Dishwasher, Microwave and slide in Oven cost approximately $4300. Today, March 28th, not three months since installed, My Microwave has been pulled off the wall as it has per the service Person a bad magnetron and there are probably more issues. My dishwasher has a bad sprayer arm which doesnt drain before cycle complete causing all the lower clean dry dishes to be soaked all over again. This issue had two service calls and an order for a replacement sprayer arm but still the same issue. As per the service folks, the engineering team has been advised they are looking to correct the issue. The oven grates have rubber tips that melt and now there is constant vibration. A kit is available but it doesnt address the issue. I am now out a microwave. Have to be real careful whenever I am emptying the dishwasher and the stove grates vibrate whenever I turn on the oven. Looking for productive comments. No trash talk. I can do that myself. Yes, I have contacted the Frigidaire website with my warranty issues.

We purchased a new house and we were thrilled to have all new Frigidaire Professional Appliances installed. We immediately had problems with our refrigerator. The seals in both doors are still not working properly after having been replaced. It has randomly stopped working for no apparent reason. We have had a door replaced on it (as it was dented upon arrival). I have asked for a replacement as it is not reliable but because it is still under warranty they will not replace the unit, just continue to try and fix it. Our dishwasher has also needed replacement parts (we have been in this house around 6 months now) as it was not heating properly. The latch on our microwave was not working so when the service company went to replace it, they broke off some plastic parts and currently it does not work at all. Three appliances all with problems within the first 6 months. I have been a homeowner for years and never had such challenges or problems in the past.

My fridge has not worked since I purchased it in March. It is under warrant
My fridge has not worked since I purchased it in March. It is under warranty and Frigidaire keeps sending people here to look at it. As a result, we had to purchase another fridge (we didnt get another Frigidaire) in the meantime while we worked on replacing this one. The repairman deemed my fridge dead twice and it still wasnt enough for them to replace it. The repairman has been to my house about twice a month since March. As a result, they are now replacing three parts in a brand new fridge to attempt to fix it because yet again, they refuse to replace a brand new fridge even though its under warranty. I have called and left multiple messages on voicemails and have not received a callback. However, in their notes, they have that they called and left me voicemails (which is not true at all). This has been a very frustrating process. The parts to my fridge were suppose to be ordered three weeks ago and when I just called, they were not even ordered yet. Sharon, one of the corp. supervisors, was very helpful and said she would overnight them to repair company. Hopefully, this nightmare ends soon but I am not confident it will. I will never purchase another Frigidaire product again and I dont recommend buying any of their products.

I recently remodeled my kitchen. I bought all the professional series Frigidaire appliances. I wish I had not done that. They were very expensive. I can not believe how cheaply made they are and feel as well. The appliances are not even 3 months old and yet I have had the service tech/company to my home 3 times already. Microwave will not heat. My refrigerator barely makes ice yet the cooling drawer freezes everything (This is a drawer inside the refrigerator that should keep things a little colder than the rest of the refrigerator). I have had to throw out vegetables and other food as it freezes everything. The dishwasher racks are so flimsy... I get nervous that it will not be able to hold the weight of dishes or glasses that I put on them. I would love to have my reliable old appliances back that did not cost me a fortune. I would not recommend buying anything Frigidaire. I would recommend GE profile and or Kenmore. Never ever had a problem with these reliable brands.

Purchased a brand new fridge 5 months ago. Unit stop keeping the fridge cool. Called in for a repair which did take some time to get through their stupid automated system and finally got a human to talk to. They scheduled the appt with a local repairman who came out days later... YUP it’s not bad enough you lose all your food. You have to live without a fridge for additional days. Repairman did whatever to the fridge and left. Now its 10 days later and the same issue happened. Throwing all the food out AGAIN. HUNDREDS of dollars in food spoilage for yet another repair. Had to call in again and put up with the stupid automated machine to get a human. Scheduled yet another repair and had to wait for days to arrive...but wait, the repair guy calls and says he can’t get out there and it will be additional days before he can repair the fridge. Called Frigidaire yet again and of course put up with the stupid automated system to get a human on the phone. Now scheduling another appt with another repairman for today (4 days later) waited, waited waited...8-12 goes by and nobody. I called to find out what’s what and believe it or not... the order never got placed with the repairman. On the phone for 1 hour and 15 minutes fighting with reps and managers of Frigidaire to get the fridge fixed to only get I’m sorry for the inconvenience. Got so pissed off I called the repairman who fixed it originally and is coming out tomorrow. BUYER BEWARE! A $500.00 fridge has cost me a ton of aggravation, lost a day off of work, my tenants lost 2 full fridges of food and a half day off of work and had to live out of coolers off and on for 2 weeks. Frigidaire Gallery Series only worthy of a shooting gallery. Upon purchasing our new townhouse from a developer we opted to upgrade our appliances - all of which were Frigidaire products including washer, dryer, dishwasher, stove. A garden hose and a table fan would have been more effective than either the washer dryer combo or the dishwasher. Despite being labelled as commercial, heavy duty, super capacity it doesnt take an active imagination to realize that it must have been opposite day when the marketing team drunkenly scribbled the copy they wanted to label the washer/dryer with. We consistently have to remove wet clothes from the dryer and run it again with only a handful of pieces. It usually takes three complete cycles on the highest heat setting to dry even the most modest load of laundry. The washer stops mid cycle on account of being over weighted with a single set of bedsheets The same goes for the dishwasher which takes over 3 noisy hours to run a single normal setting wash, only to find half the pre-rinsed dishes still need to be hand washed. Complete waste of money and time. AVOID AT ALL COST.

I have never been so disappointed and angry over a purchase. I recently built my dream home and was very excited. All my appliances are Frigidaire and had always thought it was a solid product. My one yr warranty had come to an end this past May. For several weeks now my dishwasher had not been getting the dishes clean but it would work well enough when run on heavy mode. I do not use it that often so it was more of a bother than anything until I noticed several pieces of wood flooring popping up and realized I had a leak of sorts. The builder came to take a look and we saw that water was pouring out from under the dishwasher. There was mold growing. As luck would have it my ice maker in my Frigidaire freezer stopped working as well. I called Frigidaire and was told I would have to pay for the repairs myself as it 6 months out of warranty. I have such concerns as all my other appliances are made by Frigidaire as well. So now not only are my relatively new appliances not working but I have damage to my new home. All of which I have to pay for because this company did not make a quality product. It is just myself and my daughter who is 7 that live in my home so how much wear and tear can 2 people do in a little over a year. My builder who is one of the largest in this area in NC was disgusted as well by the response from Frigidaire and told me its not the first time he has heard this and will no longer be recommending using them in the homes he builds as he wants to keep his reputation of quality homes. I can only tell people I know to NOT buy products by this company and if you do dont expect them to do the right thing. I had a Kenmore for over 15 years without any problems and I will be replacing my Frigidaire. I understand that things break but when something is so new and has very little wear and tear it is robbery. Now I am left with the repair cost of both as well as the cost of the damage to my new home.

Purchased Frigidaire gas wall oven model FFGW2415QS Serial AF71303898 on 4/24/2017 at Home Depot. Oven stopped working 4/30/2018. Have contract with our gas co, they installed igniter. Stopped working 5/15/2019, another igniter installed 5/19, 2 months later stopped again, this time they installed Frigidaire igniter. Oven stopped working 6/30/20 another igniter installed 8/20, stopped again, installed a valve, 2 weeks later stopped again, another igniter. Stopped working 12/25 while cooking Xmas dinner. Had repair here today, they ordered wire & new panel. Advised if this doesn’t work contact mfg. I have called at least 15 times, sent 4 emails, only response I received was to purchase a new service contract! Today I chatted with a Christa, she wants service records which I called for already, however, I asked to chat with a manager. Brandi came on, she is manager of Digital Team, wants records of service calls. Understand, but to get sarcastic on chat. Seven (7) service calls in less than 3 years. Five during pandemic, that was reason why I tried to wait for service. The oven is not used every day, never in summer as grill is used for everything. Reason why calls are so high per Brandi not fully staffed due to covid. Meanwhile consumer has difficulty trying to address our problems.

Has made my summer very comfortable and relaxing without having to worry about the heat. The air conditioner runs cold and is an extremely great product. Will always stick with this brand. The performance of the air conditioner is extremely well. It has multiple settings to help improve a better experience for those hot summer days. It has a great look to it as well as being easy to use. White in color, multiple settings, easy to see buttons, clear writing as well as big buttons. I haven't had any problems with this product. It has been very reliable, the filter has stayed very clean throughout the summer without having to be cleaned or replaced. It turns on no problems and cools down a room extremely quickly.

To replace the unit, Frigidaire wanted me to drive out of town to a small country location to exchange the defective unit for a replacement. Frigidaire did not provide any assistance beyond that. Note: I live in a 250,000 city/county (Greenville).I repeatedly called to complain regarding the insanity and they finally gave me a special 2nd choice. I could send a certified letter (folks, this costs money, right? How is that warranty support?) with their informational requirements to Charlotte, NC. They expressed no concern regarding how to dispose of a portable unit with refrigerant (not environmentally friendly) but left it with me. I quit using profanity about two years back but this issue brings me close to NOT.Please get this - I did everything - even offered to give a credit card for a purchase/return transaction. 90% of vendors allow transactions like this. Nope - not Frigidaire. In my opinion, they just hate their customers with a happy smile. Youll hear repeatedly... our policy ad nauseam. So, readers... today, I certify that I will no longer buy anything Frigidaire, period. Will not, will not, will not. And after telling them I would be posting something truthful like this, they still didnt care.

I had a lemon of a fridge. They paid for labor to have it looked at then told me I would receive a new one in 10 days. After 10 days I had heard nothing. They will not call you back or offer to even help just throw you in a circle to talk to other people. Long story short 3 1/2 months later I personally had to drive to a shopping facility to get my (installed fridge) because they couldn’t ship without more paperwork from Frigidaire. Taking to Frigidaire they said waiting on my payment that they already had. Do not use Frigidaire. I will never recommend them with the headache it caused. I should of just went and bought a different brand.

I purchased a Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator from Home Depot less than a month ago and it’s been a poor decision since date of delivery. My parents and several friends have bought Frigidaire so I felt confident in my choice however their unwillingness to back their product that is only hours old has lost them future business. The fridge was delivered with uneven doors and a squeak that sounds like an old bed frame. They sent a tech who made the doors even but they still don’t shut flush. On top of that the fridge squeaks when we close the door or even touch the fridge, it’s ridiculous!! I asked for a new refrigerator and they have the NERVE to say “the squeak is not under warranty because the tech said it’s just a cosmetic nuisance”!! REALLY??? Well I just spent $2000 on this fridge and expect it to be free of “cosmetic nuisances”! Anyway they have yet to do anything except send technicians who tell me the fridge is not broke. The one guy actually told me to demand another be sent to me. I called Home Depot where I bought it and they said they need Frigidaire cooperation or else I will have a fee. This is nuts!!! I understand things happen, I just wanted it to be resolved especially since it had just been delivered! I will never buy Frigidaire again and I intend to write a review in as many locations as I possibly can. Not to mention, I plan to spread the word like it’s my darn job!! Had they made this right I would have earned them business but now it will cost them business. They don’t seem to care either! One more note, the girl on the phone told me these aren’t made like cars and aren’t supposed to last. LOL. Well I thought it would last longer than a few hours! Very disappointed in the brand and Home Depot!! Plus, train your people not to make those irritating comments, it doesn’t help your reputation at all!

We spent $2000.00 on a new refrigerator, The Gallery. The ice maker on the outside AND the inside freezer doesnt work. The freezer door handle fell off after two months. Customer Service NEVER followed thru on their service calls, then told me we were considered too rural so they would not come to fix it. They gave me an out of service phone number for someone who would supposedly come fix it. We tried to just fix the ice maker ourselves, to no avail. I finally called them again, only to be put on hold for over 30 minutes. I got thru to someone who PROMISED a phone call back in three business days. That was last week. Still no response. NEVER will I buy from Frigidaire again! They should be ashamed of how they treat people!

Purchased an LFID2426TF from Lowes almost a year ago Oct 2017. Dishwasher has had issues from the start with not draining completely, not washing the dishes thoroughly leaving a grainy baked on film behind and not totally drying them. Now recently the latch broke replaced that the dishwasher worked for a few days now. Start button continually flashing and dishwasher not working. Total piece of crap. Will never buy from these people again. Quality control is pretty much nonexistent with this company. If you want people to buy products made in the US then make good products that last longer than 9 months and do what they are meant to do in the first place...

The Frigidaire FFGC3626SS 5 pilot gas range is very pretty and I like everything about it - EXCEPT - The knobs started breaking within a month of installation and all 5 knobs broke 3X within the first year. I was given two free sets, but now, since it is a few weeks past 1yr from purchase (but within 1 year of actual installation & use). I am being offered new knobs at $17.00 each (the full price is $75.00 each for PLASTIC knobs). There is no warranty on the new knobs. The Frigidaire website is FULL of 1 star reviews due to these knobs breaking. Apparently, the heat from the range makes the stems on the knobs brittle & the stems snap & making the knobs completely useless. I did not buy the extended warranty - One reviewer stated that the knobs are not covered by it anyway, but I havent confirmed that. I am down to 1 working knob on a 14 month old gas range. BTW, the size is unique & hard to fit with universal knobs from other makers. Run Away from Frigidaire Range Tops!!!

Dont buy Frigidaire, Electrolux, and sadly GE appliances (all one company now owned in Sweden). My Frigidaire side by side broke after less than 5 years and the only thing they will offer me after calling twice and speaking with a manager (first supervisors name was ** the second was **) both times is 50% off (not including shipping) a part needed when ordered through them after paying for a diagnostic visit of $78. After doing my research consumers should expect a fridge to last 10-15 years. This company only want to guarantee you that their $1,000-$3,000 product will last a year! After that they believe you should pay more to protect yourself from their poor quality and unreliable product as they will not stand behind and guarantee the quality.I think this is completely unacceptable and disgraceful. And the company could care less. I asked them to allow me a credit of $78 from what I would be paying the repair man quote, towards the part as I felt that would be more fair and they refused. So after paying over $1,000 for their product that failed in less than half its life expectancy they were unwilling to give me a credit of $78 with no remorse. Also while calling for service from local repair people I asked them from their experience who are the best and worst out there for refrigerators and they said best: Maytag and Whirlpool. Worst- Frigidaire/Electrolux /GE. Remember when you shop online and look at reviews- companies pay people to write great reviews but not to write bad ones. So take special note of the poor reviews. Consumer affairs has them as a 1 star company.

It has been great overall. Product quiet and effective. Not much water waste either for those who don't like to waste. I enjoy it a lot after a hard day of hot work. Cool, sleek design on some products. They're very edgy and give a home or business that extra touch that makes it seem more modern and beautiful. It has never given me any trouble in almost 3 years. Best investment of my life. I just clean it externally and let it rest for a few hours a day. Other than that nothing needs to be done.

I bought the gallery series Refrigerator, Range, Dishwasher, Microwave on 11/18/2014. On 7/1/2015 the refrigerator (model# FGHS2655PF) quit working completely. I could not get anyone at customer until the next day and my service appointment was not until 7/6/2015 because they only have one service provider for the whole Cincinnati area. I had to leave work early to meet the repairman, only to have him say he needs to order parts and come back on 7/9/2015. Had to take off work again to meet repairman and to have him tell me he needs more parts and needs to come out again on 7/11/2015 to then tell me he cant fix it after 3 1/2 hours. The whole time that I talked to Frigidaire they did not care that I lost everything in my refrigerator (approx $200) or that I didnt have a refrigerator at all for the last 10 days. They still have to review whether they are even going to replace it. $1000 refrigerator lasted 7 1/2 months? What has happened to FRIGIDAIRE? They used to be the brand I sought out to buy.

We were deceived, as consumers, in purchasing a Frigidaire Professional (fridge) in June 2013. In less than 3 years of normal use, the appliance broke down. Many parts associated with the low-pressure header to the heat exchanger, as well as the heat exchanger, had to be replaced. The cost of the appliance was expensive and not of quality. The cost of repair was also expensive, close to $700 CAD since it was no longer covered by the ridiculously short 1-year warranty of the manufacturer. We are taking the battle using legal action against Electrolux as we could not get any decent level of service from them or their accredited repair company (South Shore of Montreal). When we bought our home back in March 2016, we replaced the kitchen appliances with smudge resistant stainless steel Frigidaire ones. We quickly realized that THE HANDLES are not smudge resistant. Annoying. We also noticed that the drawers were so tight and stiff we could barely open and shut them. The company sent us a food grade silicone spray to treat the rails. THEN, 2 months after we got the appliances the motherboard on our dishwasher crapped out. We had to wait 2 weeks for the part to come in. Shortly after, the motor in the ice maker went.Again, replacement needed. Recently, it started being fussy again, requiring the ice to constantly need to be cleared from the blade in the front or it hangs up and won’t spin. And now, AGAIN, the motherboard went on our dishwasher. And we are expecting family from out of town in a week for our daughter’s wedding. At first, Frigidaire offered to pay for the part, but wanted us to pay for the labor, because it was out of warranty, and we didn’t purchase an extended one.So I asked them, How is it, that we spend $580 on a new dishwasher, and we are told we need to spend an extra $100 to $200 in order for the company to stand by their product? I told the Frigidaire representative that I felt like the extended warranty was extortion. I asked her how she would feel, if she spent that kind of money on an appliance and it lasted less than two years? I said that our last home had a cheap KitchenAid builder’s grade dishwasher, and we never had an issue with it in 10 years. She checked with the manager, and then she told me that they would do the repair for free as a one time courtesy. But that I should purchase the extended warranty??? I said no, because if it needs repairs again, I’m getting rid of it.

We bought a new Frigidaire refrigerator/top freezer about 2 months ago. (Model FFTR2021QW1). The freezer shelf sags when I put as little as 2 pieces of meat on there. A sagging shelf means half the freezer space is lost. And when I tried filling my freezer like normal - with things evenly spaced - the whole thing nearly collapsed. The companys customer service rots. So far the answers we got were, and I quote: my mom has the same refrigerator (truthfully, I dont really care); so dont put anything on the shelf (really now! So why did I buy this size model refrigerator/freezer? Or maybe the shelf is just for illustrative purposes only?); and get this: its supposed to sag. (Huh? For what purpose?). Basically, after a week of runarounds, Frigidaire wiped themselves clean from the fact that there is a defect in the shelf. I am so frustrated because now I have a completely user UNfriendly freezer.

I hardly ever write reviews, particularly if I am dissatisfied with a product or service. Ive always figured a mental note to steer clear of further patronizing a particular establishment or buying a product were enough for my personal satisfaction. However, my experience with purchasing a Frigidaire stove from Colders (333 S 108th St, Milwaukee, WI 53214) warrants a stern warning to other consumers TO BEWARE... I STRONGLY DISCOURAGE ANY CONSUMER anticipating doing business with COLDERS or purchasing a FRIGIDAIRE appliance.First off, I bought a Frigidaire stove and refrigerator from Colders in October 2016. Now, for the second time since October, the stove is malfunctioning, for the exact same reason as the first time... Which happened just a few weeks after the stove was purchased. As if the malfunctioning stove isnt enough of an inconvenience, we were informed by the 3rd party repair technicians contracted by Colders/Frigidaire to service their appliances, that the earliest someone could come out to repair the stove was Friday. The stove went out on Sunday. Because the hours of operation for the repair tech also sucks, the earliest we could report the malfunction was Monday. As of today (Wednesday), the repair date has since been pushed back to next Monday because the techs dont have the repair part in inventory. My mother is a senior citizen, and for the second time since October, is without a stove for in excess of a week. The first time the stove went out (did I mention for the same reason), my mother was without a stove FOR TWO WEEKS!!! On both occasions, my mother and I contacted Colders, who referred us to the repair techs. As aforementioned, the response time absolutely sucked! The initial appointment IS ONLY TO CONFIRM THE SOURCE OF THE PROBLEM. The repair tech pre-orders the replacement part (without seeing the appliance), based on the error code and hopes that the part is what is needed to rectify the problem. In our case, it was not! So, for the initial malfunction, the tech had to schedule a second appointment to complete the repair. I am anticipating this repair will work in much the same way. I am thoroughly disappointed in both the product and service at this point. We have requested that the stove be replaced, however we were informed that Frigidaire has to approve the replacement once the 3rd-party repair tech is on site. I am not optimistic.

I have had this appliance for nearly a year, Dec. 30, 2015. Due to illness have not got around to voicing my complaints. This unit was highly praised by the sales man at Coast Appliances, Langley. As there are only the 2 of us to wash for I believed this unit would be ideal for space & efficiency. We cleaned & replaced any of the dryer venting before installation. I think I have given the unit a fair run & can say I am totally dissatisfied with its performance. The dryer will only dry a load on high heavy duty & then it must be full. I cannot dry a smaller load on any setting. Sometimes a small load will take 2 hours to dry. The washer tears clothing, I use tide pods & cleaner as recommended & find that wet clothes often come out with lint stuck to them even a load of delicates that do not contain lint, so I have to sponge lint of many items before I dry them. I also clean the washer & dryer after each load as recommended in the user manual. I am totally disenchanted with this unit that was to be my last washer dryer after 50 plus years of doing laundry. I would not recommend this brand to my friends. Thank you for your attention to, my concerns.

I purchased this microwave to match the Gallery range that I purchased while remodeling my kitchen. Big mistake. Within a few weeks of installation, we noticed that the preset cooking options were not properly calibrated - popcorn didnt pop, oatmeal didnt completely cook, meat wouldnt defrost properly based on the presets. It seemed like the unit was running at about 60-70% of the efficiency it should have. I called Frigidaire numerous times and they said that this is normal, try a different container to cook in, etc. Eventually, I was able to get someone that supposedly was in customer service that dealt with the engineering end of things. They said that a little variation in efficiency is not a big deal. I asked if their acceptable range would allow a microwave to perform at 60-70% of designed efficiency. There was a long pause and a lot of excuse making. They ultimately said that what I was experiencing was within the acceptable range of performance and they said that they would not send out a tech to evaluate the microwave. I called the local rep company and they said that a service call was going to be as much as $125 to troubleshoot the microwave. I called Frigidaire back a few weeks later and the same story. I called Lowes and they refused to help saying it is something that falls on the manufacturer and they refused to make a phone call on my behalf but offered the Frigidaire customer service number. Yesterday - 16 months after installation - 4 months after the warranty expired, it no longer heats anything up.

I purchased a home that had all new appliances including a Frigidaire stain
I purchased a home that had all new appliances including a Frigidaire stainless steel refrigerator (Model FFTR1821QS), manufactured in April, 2015. Within 2 weeks of moving in, on 10/23/15, the refrigerator started making a loud groaning and clunking noise and was no longer cooling. Called Frigidaire and they scheduled a service call for over a week out with one of their contracted companies. The guy came out and determined that there were 3 parts that needed to be replaced, all of which were on backorder, so they likely wouldnt be available for weeks. I called Frigidaire again to figure out some kind of resolution and get a more accurate timeline for when the parts would be in and when the repair could be completed. They were not able to give me a timeline other than one of the parts needed is expected to arrive 1 week from today.I have now been without a refrigerator for 1 week and AT MINIMUM expecting to be without for another week, most likely much longer since the other 2 parts do not have an estimated arrival date at all. The person in the parts administration department was unable to do anything further and abdicated responsibility to the customer service department. When I called Customer Service, I expressed by frustration and stated that having to wait 3-4 weeks or more without a refrigerator is completely unacceptable. After being on hold for a while, the person came back and offered me 6 months of additional extended warranty on the refrigerator which does absolutely nothing for me today. I asked for the brand new refrigerator to be replaced or to be given some kind of compensation because it was obviously a defective model if this level of problems were happening so soon.I was told that a repair and offer of additional extended warranty was all that could be done. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was connected to Danielle, corporate manager, who gave me the same lines the other person did. I asked for a replacement or some other kind of compensation again and was told that the manufacturer warranty only covers parts and labor and not replacement and that Danielle, herself, would research the parts that are needed (for the 3rd or 4th time... apparently that should give me some kind of solace that another person will do the same thing that has already been done) and will give me a call next week with an update. If the parts arent there, they arent there.Theres nothing than can be done to expedite that process. I asked to speak with her supervisor and she refused to transfer me to anyone else. It is absolutely ridiculous how little regard Frigidaire has for their customers and their experience with their products. I will never purchase a Frigidaire product and will recommend that anyone I know steer clear of them as well.

I just ran across this website and had to give my review of Frigidaire appliances that I bought as a full set for a kitchen overhaul. The oven door was the first hint of quality issues. I discovered a spot of rust around the oven window but underneath the coating. It was visible but still felt smooth. I called Frigidaire support and they said it was out of warranty and I must be allowing moisture to get inside the door. I advised them that while I was aware that moisture causes oxidation I was having trouble with the concept of maintaining sufficient moisture upon a vertical surface on the door of an appliance that creates heat being the cause of the oxidation. They finally offer to replace the door skin but only if I used the approved appliance vendor that charges $90 per hour. The skin was only a little over $100 so I decided to save my money towards the purchase of higher quality appliances. My next issue was the microwave which caught on fire at slightly less than three years of age. Based on my previous experience I did not bother to call customer service and was just thankful that once the wiring burned up the fire extinguished itself. (BTW I did not replace the microwave with a Frigidaire, duh!) The final comment is that I just lost a burner on the stove top. The Frigidaire appliances are about 5 years old now. I cant help but reflect on the 30 year old electric GE range on which I never replaced anything.

I bought 4 Frigidaire appliances 3 years ago and have already had 4 service calls - 2 to fix a recurring problem with the refrigerator. The customer support is unhelpful and unsympathetic to their expensive yet cheaply made appliances. I would recommend that someone thinking about buying Frigidaire appliances reconsider and go with a different brand. I have been extremely disappointed.

I purchased the Frigidaire stand up freezer/fridge combo when I built my house. The matching set cost me $5,000 for it. Within the first year of purchase the fridge went out and Frigidaire sent out a technician to repair. Unit should have been replaced while under warranty but they did not want to hear it. Skip forward to some time later, I paid for the extended warranty for the fridge and the icebox but was refunded my money just on the fridge because it was broken under warranty and they would not cover up as I was told but unfortunately for me the rep in customer service didnt seem to put that in the computer and only put refunded due to being broken when it wasnt. Now my unit is out and I questioned them about it. They send me with the runaround. All my appliances in my home are Frigidaire. I will be replacing everything in my house to get the name Frigidaire out of it. I am out now $500 dollars as I paid for a repair service to come look at it and replace items that were replaced before because they broke the first time and Frigidaire doesnt seem to care. Well they will care. I can promise this!!! Sincerely, a pissed off customer.

Through Home Depot in early Oct. 2013, I bought a Frigidaire pedestal for matching washer. I am tall and my back occasionally does not allow for easy bending, so I need the height w/ my front-loading Frigidaire washer. In placing items in the pedestal drawer, I slashed my finger on a razor sharp edge. There is no warning label on this product. I went to Home Depot; their associate phoned Frigidaire right in front of me to explain the problem. I personally spoke to them on her phone. They tried to discredit me immediately, saying I did not cut myself on the drawer edge - that I must have put (my) hand between bottom of washer and top of drawer. I later tried this, and my hand cannot fit in there. I repeatedly stated that the drawer was open, and my hands were inside, filling the drawer. Frigidaires answer was to send a local repair man, and he put a piece of black electrical tape over the edge and wrote on the receipt that this is a temporary fix. Frigidaire has copy of this. A day later, the tape was dangling - there must be some residue causing tape to not adhere. Long story short, in late Dec., after many complaints by me to both parties, Home Depot delivered to me another Frigidaire pedestal. I immediately checked, and it had the same razor sharp edge. I requested the store to take it back. The Home Depot manager, Dave, was away, but I was told by store staff they were told to check it for dents and scratches and knew nothing about any sharp edge - Dave never spoke to me or called me after that, so I now will not shop there, and had spent $1,000s each month there on home renovations - they are so big, so dont care. Worse, the manager on duty, Art, called it a little rough and acted like it was no big deal. To me, it IS a big deal. After cancer surgery, I am missing lymph nodes and was told to be very careful about any cuts, because I have greater chance for infection. I told both parties this. Frigidaire does not care about product safety or customer satisfaction, just dumping inferior products into the marketplace. I spoke to one of their associates who is diabetic, so she understands about the seriousness, but they refuse to do anything to properly make my product safe or to replace it with a SAFE product. I also told them they need a hazard warning label on the product - 2nd one arrived w/ none. I spent a LOT of money for their washer (the second one I bought, since I sold my house and my buyer wanted my older one). This means nothing to Frigidaire, because they know getting a lawyer will cost more than buying a second product from their competitors, so I wasted money and lots of time and effort with them. As a retiree on a small pension, I dont have money to waste. All I wanted was a safe pedestal, and both prefer to lose my business. Frigidaire deserves to be sued for product failure.

I purchased a Frigidaire upright freezer in July of 2021. By the end of December, the freezer had an indicator light blinking which mean the temperature was dropping inside. I had almost $400 worth of food which was thawing and had to be thrown out. This happened New Years weekend, and I was not able to contact Frigidaire until Tuesday, January 4th, when they reopened from the holidays. They sent a technician immediately out the next day, January 5th, and he noted that 5 different components of the freezer had gone bad and needed to be replaced. He also mentioned that hed had over 20 different calls on the same freezer, which the same issues with the 5 components failing. I called back to Frigidaire on January 5, 2022, and told the representative that five components failing was not a fluke but a defect in the unit. I also noted that this model freezer was discontinued....I wonder why? The representative told me that if they were unable to order the five components within 7 to 10 business days, I could get a refund. No one contacted me and I called back on the 11th business day, which was January 20th. I spoke to both a representative and her supervisor and they told me that I would not receive a refund, but would simply have to wait until they received the backordered parts. I asked her what timeline would be reasonable, and she said she didnt know, I would just have to wait! I demanded a refund, and she refused. She said the only way I would get a refund is if the technician declared the freezer unrepairable, which, clearly they will not do. All the while, I am without a freezer, lost over $400 in food, and the 1 year warranty is ticking away. By the time the unit is repaired, I will then be out of warranty and out of luck not if, but when it breaks down again. All I was offered is $100 in food replacement. I want a refund and want this freezer declared defective.

My land lady bought a new refrigerator from Frigidaire at Menards May of 2013. In March of 2014, the freezer went out, lost all our freezer food. Repairman came out once to inspect the problem then several days later to fix. He said the freon was out. He put some in and it worked fine until last week, thats only 4 Months later and its the same problem!! I have been without a fridge for 7 days. Menards passed the buck and so did Frigidaire, will not replace or Give refund for lost food. Repairman came on Friday to see the problem, have to wait 4 days for them coming Out and hopefully will fix it. Will never buy a Frigidaire product!!!

We paid 2500 for a refrigerator that only had a yr warranty. So far we have spent another 1000 on it because its junk! I will never purchase Frigidaire products again. I have a GE refrigerator that we have had for 20 yrs and it works better than the new one. Needless to say I will seek out old appliances before I ever buy a new one again. I purchase Frigidaire Gallery appliances in 2013 and did not purchase the extended warranty. I assume the appliances will go bad, my new stove of 4 years died, my refrigerator of 4 years got a ticking noise coming from it, dont know how long my dishwasher will last, dont use it every day like my other appliances. I would advised DO NOT BUY THESE PRODUCTS, THEY ARE NOT GOOD. Frigidaire knows this, that is why they will push customers to purchase a warranty. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE PRODUCTS FROM FRIGIDAIRE. Also I called customer service, and was told I should have purchase that warranty, so this tells me that is making substandard products, and not only do they make money on the product, they are making it on the warranties as well. My washing machine has not worked since early Nov. 2016. Frigidaire has sent two different repair companies. The first one gave up as they were not able to fix it, the second repair company has not been able to figure out whats wrong with it. They tried changing the computer first which did not fix the machine. 2nd they tried changing something with the door which also did not fix the machine. It has been a pattern of trying different things without success. The current repair company has told us that the machine is not repairable and has also told the Frigidaire, but Frigidaire technicians keep insisting on trying different things.Throughout all this, We have had a total of 5 visits from the repair companies. I had to miss 3 days of work because I have to be home when they go to the home. The second company was able to work on Saturdays, but Frigidaires technicians are not available on weekend so the repair person cant talk on the phone with them while they look at the machine. I have complained about their process without any success since we still dont have a machine that works. I have spoken with 3 supervisors and one manager and keep getting the same message that their technicians still want to try something else. So they shipped some cables supposedly next day delivery on the week of 12/13 so we set up an appointment on 12/20 for the repair company to show up. The cables never made it to the home so I canceled the appointment with the repair company.I spoke with Frigidaire and now the cables were going to be deliver on 12/31 so I set another appointment with the repair company on 1/3. The cables never arrived on 12/31 so I canceled another appointment. Now Frigidaire tells me that the cables will not be deliver until 1/6/17. By now we are on two months in with a machine that is supposed be new and does not worked. I was also told by one Frigidaires support technicians that their notes showed repairs done in 1/16/16 for a similar issue with the door, before I actually moved to the new condo, purchased the condo on 2/16/16 with all new appliances. Unfortunately they are all from Frigidaire and given my current experience with this company I will never purchase and will tell friends to not purchase from this company. This also means that when the cables actually get delivered I will have to miss a 4th day of work so that the repair person can see the machine. It has been a nightmare dealing with Frigidaire as they are very insensitive to their customers needs, they seem to not care for their customers as we are now two months in without a working machine. Thank you.

We bought the set in 2011 and I sat down and read the book with the washer and dryer from cover to cover. My husband laughed at me but found out heavy clothes on the bottom, lighter clothes on the top, has a clean cycle you do once a month. Doesn't show on the panel of the washer but tells you in the book how to access it. Mine is in a basement and has never had a bad odor or any mechanical problem in 3 years. Uses very little water and clothes come out clean and smell great. I open the door when done and pull out the soap and bleach dispenser tray when not in use. My sister says her cleaning woman works for others and has had every front loader break down often. I maintain it's how we treat them. If you load them all carelessly, it makes them off balance and will cause damage. Will buy another set if these ever quit on me.

We purchased a complete suite of Gallery kitchen appliances approximately 2 years ago. Some observations: they look nice but the dishwasher leaked and damaged the kitchen floor. Negotiating repairs was a hassle. Since repaired, no new problem(s). Does a reasonable job but Bosch washers are clearly superior. PS: I ate the floor damage repairs rather than do the dance with Frigidaire. They are not easy to work with. The refrigerator froze items in the bins. There was a part missing (possibly an upgrade that was not with the unit) that diverted frozen/refrigerated air into the bin area. I installed it - it is better now. The unit moans, groans, squeaks, sighs, moans as though its possessed. We were told its normal. Normal? Maybe. Annoying for sure. The ice dispenser shoots ice all over the place. The exterior stainless surfaces are thin. They are generally non-smudge but the door handles are not. The range (glass top) controls suck. The porcelain finish chips very easily. The oven is fine, the convection feature is very nice. The microwave oven is OK. The controls and timer - reminder beeps are annoying. Would I buy them again? No. Id happily pay more for a superior product.

My husband and I purchased new Frigidaire appliances for our daughter a few years ago. She went to Lowes and chose the Frigidaire refrigerator, dishwasher and electric range with the finish that looks like stainless steel. The electric range stopped working as soon as the one year warranty expired. My daughter called a licensed repairman who came back three times, replacing the heating element and some type of circuit board. Within a few weeks, the oven stopped working again. Every now and then it would suddenly start working again, but eventually catch on fire. My daughters husband has installed new heating elements twice, (they couldnt afford to keep calling a repairman) but the oven and stovetop worked for a while, go out, work again and then the element catches on fire. Both my daughter and I have contacted Frigidaire (Electrolux) customer service and have gotten a complete runaround. Their position is that unless there is an official recall they will do nothing. A week ago the oven caught fire again and I told my daughter not to waste any more money to have it repaired. My husband and I are going to buy her a new range, but I can promise you it will not be a Frigidaire product and I want to warn other people to avoid them as well.

We needed a fully functional, energy efficient refrigerator for a tight spot in our small house, which we bought 15 years ago. We did not want bells and whistles like an ice machine, although this fridge does have the capacity for one, door water dispenser, alarms etc. These items are just more to break, need cleaning and cause problems. We bought the 14 Frigidaire and it has been wonderful. Interior is roomy for the size, electricity use is quite reasonable. It is easy to clean and the gasket has held up well. The small size means that we need to use up leftovers, don't have food waste, and keep it neat. The price was right. Should we need to replace it, we will look at the same brand.

I upgraded my kitchen with a new 4 piece silver, grey mist Frigidaire appliances. I was told that Frigidaire was the best. My previous appliance was Frigidaire. I had no problem with them. My refrigerator broke within a 1.5 years. I was awaken by my smoke detector @ 4:30 am on 10/11/14. My kitchen was completely filled with smoke and a burning smell. After searching for what was burning, I saw smoke coming from the back of my fridge; so scary. I have NEVER had a problem with a NEW appliance before this issue. Called Frigidaire and was given no sympathy or empathy. I was told it no longer under warranty and that I should purchase an extended warranty after I have the problem fixed. The parts on my American made appliances were shown as made in Mexico. Very Strange. I could not see paying $1000s for appliances then paying $800 to get a NEW appliance fixed. My heart was broken. After 2 weeks with no fridge, they agreed to pay for the parts, but the labor and service call was well over $300. Frigidaire need to work on their Customer Service Dept. I was hung up on several times, after being on hold for 30 minutes, my call was placed back into the cue, I was given misinformation, the list goes on and on. I just cant believe a company that I thought was so upstanding, turned out to be very disgraceful. I can no longer tell my friends and family to purchase any Frigidaire appliances. I had recently purchased a stove, dishwasher, washer and dryer. Have had problems with all of them. Stove - just before Christmas stove cracked out. Called Spencers home and appliances. Spencers came out and fixed it. ALL FRIGIDAIRE products!!!!! Now here is the sad part. Dishwasher control panel went out again just about 12 months after it was replaced. WOW!! DRYER door broke again. Im starting to see a pattern!!! Ive had to have this stuff fixed. Called customer service. This was a joke. Finally I was baked into a corner where I had to buy their warranty. 250 dollars but didnt go into effect until a month out. Then they put the warranty on the wrong appliances but they didnt care. Then they didnt bother telling me they were going to fix it without me purchasing the warranty. So at the end of the road I got no help from Elizabeth their supervisor. This company plays the odds of who will actually keep coming after them. Dont buy their products. I own a construction company. I am hiring 25 people to stand out in front of a lot of their stores with sign in protest. I will go buy new products.. Yes this will all cost me a lot of money but its going to cost them more. I spent over $1800 in Sears on a small wall oven 5 months ago and what a waste of money. I used the Self Clean feature on the lowest setting for the first time, just to see what it was like. I followed the instructions and everything seemed fine. Until I went to use the broiler the next day. Nothing. Then I tried the oven. Again nothing. Neither would get hot. So I called Frigidaire and scheduled for a technician to come out. I was given a date and took the day off. He didnt show up and their customer service Reps were very rude. So I called back Frigidaire and scheduled for a different service company to come out. The Rep called me and asked what happened to the oven. After I told him, he said he knew what had happened and ordered a new thermostat. It took nearly 2 weeks to arrive. When he eventually showed up with a colleague, almost 4 weeks later, the oven didnt get fixed. The gas pipe is in the wrong position and they didnt want to touch it. So Im still waiting to get this oven fixed and Im extremely frustrated. Frigidaire is not a reliable company when it comes to the quality of their appliances or the companies they use to repair them. We recently had our kitchen remodeled, and we felt we got a good deal on Frigidaire appliances. Now I know why. Weve had trouble with all three Frigidaire appliances: refrigerator, range and microwave. Our biggest problem and what makes me angry is that the microwave, out-of-the-box, was defective. The refrigerator was repaired; were going to find out about whether the range can be repaired later this week, but the microwave was irreparable. So, Frigidaire offered to give us a replacement (however, they have none of the model we purchased in stock and according to their representative, Agneka **, when they will have one is indeterminate). If I wait for a new microwave (which it appears may never happen, since I read indeterminate as discontinued), Frigidaire will pay for installation. My other option is for Frigidaire to buy-back the microwave at retail. This, according to Ms. **, is for the convenience of the customer and not Frigidaire policy (this is a clue to how basically non-consumer centered Frigidaire is). They will not, however, pay for installation of the microwave, even though the reason for an installation charge is their defective machine. As you can imagine, I have to go through a number of hoops before Frigidaire will send the buy-back check. Im guessing it will be three to five weeks before I see the check. In the meantime, I plan to buy a new microwave, but not from our original vendor and not from Frigidaire. Dont buy from Frigidaire, period.

REALLY DO YOU THINK I WOULD EVER BUY THAT MAKE AGAIN? I WILL MAKE IT A POINT TO LET MANY PEOPLE KNOW HOW CONCERNED YOU ALL ARE.

I really like my Frigidaire dishwasher! It cleans dishes well. I will say that it does much better, if you add the Rinse Aide, It helps to dry, Without it, the dishes do stay wet. Other than that, I have no complaints & would recommend!

I have to say, I am very biased. I prefer Frigidaire. We have 2 side by side units, one from 2006, and the other one is from 2017. Both have worked very well, and, yes we have had some minor repairs that I always could fix, but, overall, they just do what we expect. I think the key is to not buy all of the fancy electronics. Both of our units just have water / ice in the door, and that is all. On the 2006, other than filters, I just replaced the water control assy in the back of the unit. Part was less than 40.00. So, I guess I have had good ones. I still would buy them again.

I purchased a FRIGIDAIRE GALLERY, which included dishwasher, microwave, stove, oven, washer and dryer, at the end of 2012. The refer was about $2000. The ice maker started leaking. I took it apart and found the small ice tray inside the maker was cracked which allowed the water to overflow into the ice below and cause a blockage. I attempted to purchase the tray. What a fiasco. After wasting an entire morning working and searching for this part, I finally got through to the company. I was told that I am unable to purchase the $2.00 plastic ice tray separately, like LG and Samsung allow you to do. I need to replace the entire ice maker. I AM TOTALLY PISSED. The ice maker is $110.00 and the tray is $2.00. What a piece of crap. I will never purchase another FRIGIDAIRE PRODUCT EVER.

Frigidaire Gallery Double Oven Range - We bought the range about a month ago. A couple of days ago, I reached out my right hand to open the top oven door and jammed my baby finger into one of the vent openings at the front of the door sustaining a deep gash on the pad of that finger. Today, I used my left hand to hang a dishtowel on the handle of the top oven and jammed the baby finger of that hand into the vent again sustaining a deep cut on the pad of that finger. I have small grandchildren here often and I am worried about those openings on the top oven door. Terrible design and dangerous.

I have a Frigidaire refrigerator that I purchased a few years ago model number frt18qrhw. This refrigerator has been nothing but trouble. I had the compressor changed and I always had water inside the fridge. The last time I had someone come to fix it, he found a wrapping that was not removed from behind the coil had worked its way down and blocked the drain hole therefore the water could not run into the cup and down the drain and it was coming inside the fridge. Someone forgot to take that piece of wrapper out when they installed the coil. I am very disappointed with Frigidaire and I will never buy another product made by them. I kept the piece of wrapping that I removed from the freezer for proof.

I bought a refrigerator almost 2 years ago and have been having problems ever since. Ive contacted Frigidaire 3 times because my refrigerator/freezer was Not Cold and stayed warm. ALL the food was Spoiled that I had just Purchased (SO FRUSTRATING). Frigidaire has No Care or Compassion for their customers concerns. Same problems occurred 3 times and they still insist on trying to just Fix it instead of replacing it. DO NOT PURCHASE FRIGIDAIRE!!! CRAPPY PRODUCT AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL.

I sooo wish I could include a photo of the itty bitty piece of nasty cutting gashing scarring metal that is affixed to the lower half of the dryer door on top of my matching front - load washer. It runs across my forearm as it automatically comes at me incessantly. I wish I could say, Whaa, it scratches me and I hate it... Rather, it cuts me, gashes me and has thus far left three quite distinct marks that come and go with the sunny days...Oh, except for one; its red and is there all the time. I believe its called a SCAR, YOU ** HAVE YOUR NERVE WITH THIS CHEAP ENGINEERING MESSING UP MY ARM... ILL NEVER, NEVER BUY ANYTHING FRIGIDAIRE FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!

I bought my fridge at Teppermans in Windsor. The staff were hard to find and when I did they disregarded my questions and made me feel like I was bothering them because I was multi buying for a discount, I had to tell them it was on sale as they didnt recognize the sale and were trying to tell me they were not on sale until after about 3 sales people tried to find the sale on it and embarrassed me as if I was lying or trying to get it cheaper than regular price and that it was a cheaper brand, I finally proved them right and they didnt apologise, They thought they can make me pay the price on the sticker. I was so upset and wonder how many customers they do that to. My fridge had many problems and they would not fix it. Gave me a hard time so I will not shop there no more and my fridge lasted 5 yrs only.

New stove and the smell that comes off of it goes in to the food that I am trying to cook in the oven... Have ran it through a clean but it still smells and smokes. NEVER buy a Frigidaire stove. If I cant get rid of the smell in one more cleaning I will need to scrap the stove and get a different brand. They dont care as when I called they just said, Yes, it will smell for a while because of the oil etc. in the stove. Not good... Your eyes burn when it runs a clean and there isnt anything in the oven. I am just running another clean to burn off the crap... But it doesnt seem to be working. UNHEALTHY.
