We bought a new Frigidaire refrigerator/top freezer about 2 months ago. (Model FFTR2021QW1). The freezer shelf sags when I put as little as 2 pieces of meat on there. A sagging shelf means half the freezer space is lost. And when I tried filling my freezer like normal - with things evenly spaced - the whole thing nearly collapsed. The companys customer service rots. So far the answers we got were, and I quote: my mom has the same refrigerator (truthfully, I dont really care); so dont put anything on the shelf (really now! So why did I buy this size model refrigerator/freezer? Or maybe the shelf is just for illustrative purposes only?); and get this: its supposed to sag. (Huh? For what purpose?). Basically, after a week of runarounds, Frigidaire wiped themselves clean from the fact that there is a defect in the shelf. I am so frustrated because now I have a completely user UNfriendly freezer.

I had a lemon of a fridge. They paid for labor to have it looked at then told me I would receive a new one in 10 days. After 10 days I had heard nothing. They will not call you back or offer to even help just throw you in a circle to talk to other people. Long story short 3 1/2 months later I personally had to drive to a shopping facility to get my (installed fridge) because they couldn’t ship without more paperwork from Frigidaire. Taking to Frigidaire they said waiting on my payment that they already had. Do not use Frigidaire. I will never recommend them with the headache it caused. I should of just went and bought a different brand.

In May of this year I purchased one of this refrigerators for use in my own home. It arrived with a cracked fruit/vegetable drawer, and I called to have a new one shipped over. I had to do this twice before I received a drawer that was not cracked before arriving at my home. Recently, one of the 1/2 gallon door bins developed another large crack. This time, calling their customer service I was told that such an issue was outside their warranty terms (since it was not akin to a failed motor, leaking coolant system, etc.). Things like bins, trays, & handles are only covered by a 30-day policy. I was informed that I could order a new bin from them for $42 (plus shipping, I assume).Overall, I have mixed feelings regarding my experience with this refrigerator & with Frigidaire. The fridge keeps a stable temperature and so does its basic job, but many of the components (drawers, bins) appear to be of poor construction quality as they are made of plastic that is too thin and are therefore brittle. Their warranty policy seems to be specifically designed with this in mind, so as to minimize the companys responsibility for their own penny-pinching.

We purchased a new house and we were thrilled to have all new Frigidaire Professional Appliances installed. We immediately had problems with our refrigerator. The seals in both doors are still not working properly after having been replaced. It has randomly stopped working for no apparent reason. We have had a door replaced on it (as it was dented upon arrival). I have asked for a replacement as it is not reliable but because it is still under warranty they will not replace the unit, just continue to try and fix it. Our dishwasher has also needed replacement parts (we have been in this house around 6 months now) as it was not heating properly. The latch on our microwave was not working so when the service company went to replace it, they broke off some plastic parts and currently it does not work at all. Three appliances all with problems within the first 6 months. I have been a homeowner for years and never had such challenges or problems in the past.

I would like to know how to pursue a complaint. The $625 Frigidaire dishwasher requires a new control/console which with labor is about half what I paid for the thing. The door handle is looser on the microwave every day I notice and soon will fall into the door according to other review. Had to replace motherboard in range while still under warranty. So how can we make their rip off cost them some money for a change?

I would prefer no stars but unfortunately I was not given that option! I will never again purchase anything made by Frigidaire or their partners. I bought a stop top from them when we built our house 12 years ago. After 7 or 8 years, one of the switches broke. There was no problem with this. But when we called to get the replacement part ($123 plus S&H), what they sent us was not the original part. It had been replaced by a very poor quality universal part. I called to tell them that this part would not last and that I was sure it would break again. Their customer service department gave us no options! Well, a couple of years later, the part did indeed break again. We called CS again and was told that they would be glad to sell us another switch and that a repair technician would have to come and replace it. We would have to pay for that charge as well. After much hassle on the phone, they finally agreed to have him come out at no charge to us, because they thought we were not placing the switch in correctly and that was surely the reason it broke! Well, once again, the switch has broken. Our only recourse is to buy a 3rd switch for another $123 plus S&H. I have several issues with Frigidaire in regards to this issue! First, only one person that I spoke to today even tried to be helpful. I was transferred to multiple people and all of them seemed to be confused as to what they were supposed to be doing. They obviously do not understand what customer service really is. They kept asking me what I wanted from them. I told them the problem again and again and asked for a permanent solution to a very expensive problem! After replacing this switch 3 or 4 times, I could buy a new stop top! Not one person offered to send a new part out for free because of this being an on-going problem! Now, that would have gotten a raving fans review! I understand that they dont want to sell me replacement parts. They want to sell me a new stove top! But that is not what I expect from a company that advertises their products as top of the line and high in performance etc. Secondly, it is a crying shame for them to charge $123 for a small switch that probably cost them $5 or $10 to make! That is price gouging if I have ever heard of it. And the last time I checked, price gouging is illegal! I am so disappointed in this company and it is very unfortunate, because overall, I love the stovetop. When it has to be replaced however, it will definitely not be replaced with another Frigidaire product! I am curious to know if other people have had problems with this replacement switch (part no. 318078200)! This is the first time I have ever rated an experience with such negativity, but this has been the most frustrating situation! By the way, I found the switch on www.knobshopper.com for $29. Now what does that tell you?

I purchased new oven/microwave unit in 2008 that developed a problem last August turning on based on a door latch that malfunctions. I spent $234 to fix with Frigidaire authorized service company, who told me it was a simple problem but expensive because you had to remove the entire wall unit to access. 4 months later I am having the same problem. Repair warranty was only 90 days. Fix will cost the same again. So I called Frigidaire’s customer service twice but they cannot help. I wrote office of their president who returned call very quickly but cannot offer any help. The only solution that was offered was that I should have purchased the extended warranty in the beginning. I am left with only two options. Spend $234 again to fix problem which only lasted 4 months the first time, or purchase a new unit. Original unit cost just under $1600. It seems there is a defect on this unit, but I am the one who is left out in the cold.

I bought a new Frigidaire Gallery oven and dishwasher just under three years ago. I have had to have the stove fixed twice (at my cost) and the dishwasher is now broke down for the third time (also our cost) and we have now decided to buy a new dishwasher instead of putting more money into this one. If the stove breaks down again we have been advised to not repair it anymore. I look after my belongings very well and I expect products to last a lot longer than 35 months!! We work so hard for our money and when we buy a product they should be able to stand behind it. Buyer beware DO NOT buy any of these products.

Bought a new French door Refrigerator and have had constant problems with the ice maker. The refrigerator was replaced by Frigidaire and now to find out the replacement was 2 years old and has the same ice maker problem. They call out repair companies that have extremely rude employees and problem cannot get resolved. Never can get the same customer service representative on the phone so have to repeat the same issue over and over.I am considering putting the refrigerator on the front lawn with a big sign on it. This will be the best advertisement. Frigidaire tells me they have a bulletin on the ice maker being bad but can never seem to find a way to correct it. All I want is my ice maker repaired so I do not have to keep buying ice and explaining why to guests. I do not feel with a refrigerator only 3 years old I should be having to write this complaint. If Frigidaire knows they have a problem with these ice makers they should just step up to the plate and make it good.

The temperature of my Frigidaire french-door refrigerator went up to 55F after less than 5 years of regular usage and it stayed at high temp between 44-55F. I called to schedule an appointment for diagnosis, the associate immediately charged me $99 over the phone for the appointment. Later, I changed my mind and decided to buy a new fridge during Black Friday sale, so I called to cancel my appointment on 12/1/2021. 2 weeks later I didnt see refund and called to follow up. Guess what? They did cancel my appointment but they DID NOT process the refund. After that, I had to call many times to follow up my refund, last call was on 12/27/2021. 1+ month later into 2022, Im still waiting for my refund. Good luck if you are dealing with Frigidaire.

I have what I consider a fairly new machine - bought in 2010. It has operated well with minimal use since my children have been grown since its purchase and since we own two homes (both with laundry) and use this less than half time. The last load I washed was fine. As I put a new load in, the error light showed E90 and it beeped. I could not get either to stop, so pulled out all the manuals that came with the washer and dryer that I got from Sears. Spent quite a while reading through all 3 to no avail. So looked online. Still there was nothing to let me know what the problem was. By this time I was feeling very frustrated. So I found an 800 number to call. I was shifted to 4 different people, repeating info several times. By the time I got to a tech, I was very frustrated. Then she could not find the particular Error code - Even with the info on her computer and available from me as to the specific machine! That seems strange. However the tech seemed to be sure that the problem is the computer board. Not sure thats the correct term. My last washing machine lasted over 20 years with no need for repairs. So I am extremely disgusted to find that the board will cost over $200.00 and the service fee will likely be at least $130.00. The tech tried to sell me an extended warranty for $215.00 (to save me money). This washer is only 4 years old! I feel hoodwinked. My washer in my other home is over 20 years old and is fine. Why would I ever buy another Sears product? Which is a shame, because I have gone to Sears for large appliances since 1971.

We bought the Frigidaire Professional Series package from Build.com and since we installed everything in our new home we have had unresolved issues, dozens of service repairs and no resolve on multiple issues. The refrigerator makes loud noises (sounds like an airplane jet & chirping sounds). The oven racks do not slide in and out with ease and are scraping the coating off the inside of the oven and the surface cooktop is discolored with rust. Frigidaire did replace the range with another but we have the exact same issues again. The dishwasher never dries out and Frigidaire told us to leave the door ajar in between wash cycles.Every time we call Frigidaire we have to explain our situation over and over. The representatives just keep sending service repair out to work on brand new appliances. 4 different repair companies have been to our home since July 2016 when we moved in. The repair shops have even contacted the Frigidaire factory technicians to tell them we need a full refund on everything and Frigidaire declines the request. We have filed a complaint with the FTC and tried so many times to get our money back. Every time we request to speak with a supervisor who can resolve our problem they tell us we have no one else to talk to. Frigidaire refuses to own up to the defects in the Profession series line. Frigidaire does not stand behind their products.

I will never purchase another Frigidaire product for the following reasons: 1). After two years, the interior light switches failed, causing the lights to remain on after the doors were closed, resulting in the bulbs burning the top of refrigerator compartment. Repairman couldn’t fix them, due to the fact that there are no cool bulbs to replace with. I still have no lights in fridge. 2). The auto ice maker has no overfill shut-off, until you discover that when door is opened, the ice falls underneath the freezer, and the door won’t close until you remove spilled cubes under the freezer; accessing the spilled cubes is a nightmare, for which I now have a special homemade device for this job. 3). Now that fridge is “old” (2012 purchase), water is leaking to bottom of freezer compartment, the freezer jams if it’s not removed. Every 5-6 days, I must empty the bottom drawer of freezer, get down on hands and knees, chip away 1/2 inch of ice from freezer floor, then re-pack bottom drawer!4). Upon calling Frigidaire about the last issue, representative advised me to “purchase a new one, it’s old”, which I definitely will, however, not from this company or any of its affiliates!

I recently ordered two replacement drawers for my refrigerator directly from Frigidaire. The junky plastic ones they came with broke. At $43 a piece and $11 shipping, I had a hard time buying replacements but I decided to splurge. When the parts came, they were the wrong parts. I looked at the packing slip which said, very clearly, to repackage the items and use the included shipping label to ship them back. If the problem was with the shipper, they would reimburse me for the return shipping. I did exactly as asked and shipped them back. The shipping cost $27.80. After I sent them, I called to let them know and ask how to submit the cost of the shipping for reimbursement. I had paid extra for tracking, as the company had recommended on the shipping form.I waited on hold for almost an hour before I spoke to someone who said that they would not be able to reimburse me for shipping because I needed to call them FIRST. In the 1), 2), 3) list of things to do to make a return, calling them first was never mentioned. I asked to speak to a manager. None were available. This morning, I received this email. From: CustomerService@JennAirReplacementParts.comSent: Friday, December 17, 2021 12:49 AMSubject: Regarding your order#**Hello,I am reaching out to you in regards to your order#**. I bought a new Frigidaire dishwasher model FFCD2413UW at Lowes. Biggest mistake ever. Problem one, there is no mention anywhere about the fact that you must buy additional parts to install your dishwasher. This caused two 70 mile round trips. Problem two, The door on this dishwasher has no latch. With no latch to click to open it you must employ brute strength to open it.Problem 3, once you get this piece of junk open the door wont stay open. The problems here are numerous but the most aggravating is that when you open the door to load the dishwasher and pull the bottom rack out, the door starts shutting on its own sliding the rack back into the dishwasher. I have been employing a brick to hold the door down while I load the dishwasher. Problem 4, I thought my previous dishwasher was loud. This dishwasher drowns out every other noise by a mile. We have been setting it to come on later, it only has one setting for this, 4 hours. So now around 2 am the entire family meets in the kitchen to find out what the racket is about.

This oven trips the dedicated circuit breaker each time a user opens the door during the cook cycle. Luckily, I have an extended service warranty. I have had a switch replaced 3 times now to get the oven going again. Frigidaire just told me they would not replace the unit because it has not been deemed non-repairable. The following is a letter written in response of the poor quality of Frigidaire products purchased for my new home. This letter was uploaded 2 times via Frigidaires website contact us page and mailed via USPS and have had no response to any correspondence. (I have submitted this letter twice via your website and have had no response.)Upon building my new home in 2008, I purchased all Frigidaire Professional Series products for my new kitchen. Since moving in, I have had issues with each piece except the dishwasher (PLD4555RFC2). The double ovens (PLEB30T9FC) hinges squeak when I open or close the doors. The top ovens hinges were replaced during the warranty period, yet they have begun squeaking again. Moisture gets between the glass (an area I cannot open to clean) leaving behind water spots and dust when it dries. This obscures the view of the food I am cooking. No matter how clean I keep the oven, it always looks dirty when viewed through the glass. The microwave (PLMVZ169GCC) touch plate cover had scratches when it arrived and so it was replaced via the warranty.I purchased a full fridge (PLRU1778ES3) and freezer with ice maker (PLFU1778ES3) with the trim kit and gave the specification sheet to my cabinet maker to ensure a custom fit for the unit. The freezer has had frost issues because the door seal would not completely seal when closed. We were able to have the seal replaced during the warranty period as well. Now the refrigerator runs constantly on any setting during any season, but it cannot keep pace to chill food enough, even on the coldest setting. Milk seldom lasts to its expiration date. The compressor has been replaced and the Freon charged but it continues to run all day and all night. When the fridge does turn off--maybe once a week, provided it hasnt been opened for more than eight hours--it seems like something is wrong in the house because it is so quiet! Also when the fridge is off, the contents inside are covered in dripping condensation, which spoils our produce more expediently.Your recommended repair company has determined that it is not feasible to repair the unit because it has a Freon leak, which can only be remedied by overriding the refrigeration device and building a new device on the outside of the unit. Ultimately, a new refrigerator would be more feasible and cost-effective. I have called Frigidaire to inquire assistance for all the problems were are having. We have been informed that Frigidaire refuses to offer any solutions because our products are no longer under warranty. Since we made this purchase, you have changed the design of the full fridge and full freezer. To replace the refrigerator, we would need to replace the freezer and trim kit too! After five years in a brand new home, we are faced with spending $3200.00 on a new fridge and freezer unit. We purchased your top-of-the-line professional series appliances because we love to cook and entertain and we believed your sleek, well-designed appliances would assist us in this endeavor. Your fridge and freezer units are the centerpiece of our kitchen. We designed our entire kitchen, down to our drawer pulls, to match these units.Upon our endorsement of your products, friends and family have purchased several Frigidaire appliances for their homes. Now due to our loyalty to your brand, we would appreciate in-kind loyalty from you by helping us to remedy our lingering predicament. Could you please offer a resolution that will repair the aesthetics of our kitchen and thus endorse our faith in Frigidaire? We would appreciate your graciously offering an in-house credit toward the purchase of a replacement refrigerator, freezer, and trim kit for our home. Although the new appliances would no longer precisely match our current double oven, dishwasher, microwave, and drawer pulls, they would still be the centerpiece of our kitchen. Certainly this is a more pleasing solution than pairing a short Frigidaire freezer with a taller Frigidaire refrigerator below an empty hole where the trim kit no longer fits. Helping us to defray the cost of these appliances because you stand behind your name, would ensure continued fierce loyalty toward your brand. Thank You.

I purchased this refrigerator in September 2016. The plastic lining, the doors have all cracked due to the cold temperatures. The plastic started cracking within a year of purchase. I purchased the warranty and they say it is cosmetic so they will not cover. I have called Frigidaire and they want me to purchase new doors. When I asked to escalate they provided me a P.O Box to write a letter in hopes that I would not bother.I cannot believe that I spent so much money on a horrible product that is cheaply made. We have 4 adults living in our home and expect our fridge to last more than a year. I have a claim currently for my ice maker because it jams, stops working and then drips all along the front side of my fridge. Lets see how that goes. I am writing a letter and I will provide an update if they even respond. DO NOT BUY FRIGIDAIRE! They make cheap faulty products and their warranty and service sucks.

The mechanic came out reattached water tube. This was October 2017. Ice maker froze again June 2018. Mechanic reattached hose and realigned. June 2018, the ice maker is over filling and leaking into the ice tray. The ice maker has problems.

Had fridge for three years, broke 5 times. Two different repair places came to fix it. Fresno was bad, Bakersfield was even worse. Bakersfield tech was great but said Frigidaire has a policy that they have to try to fix it even if it cant be fixed, it would take three attempts to try to fix it. The receptionist lost our or forgot our appointments as she chuckled, but thats another review at a later time. Now Frigidaire said it would take 4 attempt to fix it. Same error code on fridge, same parts repaired on fridge 4 times. I have emails from first manager stating 3 times, now today they say 4. Kind of funny, the story keeps changing. Frigidaire claims until cost-prohibitive - it cost me 1500 plus extended warranty 500 plus 300 for food that went bad over a three-week period for each repair to be completed. So Im out 2300 now, not sure what they deem cost-prohibitive.

I purchased a home that had all new appliances including a Frigidaire stain
I purchased a home that had all new appliances including a Frigidaire stainless steel refrigerator (Model FFTR1821QS), manufactured in April, 2015. Within 2 weeks of moving in, on 10/23/15, the refrigerator started making a loud groaning and clunking noise and was no longer cooling. Called Frigidaire and they scheduled a service call for over a week out with one of their contracted companies. The guy came out and determined that there were 3 parts that needed to be replaced, all of which were on backorder, so they likely wouldnt be available for weeks. I called Frigidaire again to figure out some kind of resolution and get a more accurate timeline for when the parts would be in and when the repair could be completed. They were not able to give me a timeline other than one of the parts needed is expected to arrive 1 week from today.I have now been without a refrigerator for 1 week and AT MINIMUM expecting to be without for another week, most likely much longer since the other 2 parts do not have an estimated arrival date at all. The person in the parts administration department was unable to do anything further and abdicated responsibility to the customer service department. When I called Customer Service, I expressed by frustration and stated that having to wait 3-4 weeks or more without a refrigerator is completely unacceptable. After being on hold for a while, the person came back and offered me 6 months of additional extended warranty on the refrigerator which does absolutely nothing for me today. I asked for the brand new refrigerator to be replaced or to be given some kind of compensation because it was obviously a defective model if this level of problems were happening so soon.I was told that a repair and offer of additional extended warranty was all that could be done. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was connected to Danielle, corporate manager, who gave me the same lines the other person did. I asked for a replacement or some other kind of compensation again and was told that the manufacturer warranty only covers parts and labor and not replacement and that Danielle, herself, would research the parts that are needed (for the 3rd or 4th time... apparently that should give me some kind of solace that another person will do the same thing that has already been done) and will give me a call next week with an update. If the parts arent there, they arent there.Theres nothing than can be done to expedite that process. I asked to speak with her supervisor and she refused to transfer me to anyone else. It is absolutely ridiculous how little regard Frigidaire has for their customers and their experience with their products. I will never purchase a Frigidaire product and will recommend that anyone I know steer clear of them as well.

I love my fridge, I've had it for 25 yrs+, with only one $25.00 problem - the thermostat went bad @ 12 yrs ago. I fixed it myself. It works, and still looks like new after all these years. It's a double door white in color Frigidaire. If it broke down today, I couldn't complain. I don't know if they still make them as well as this one anymore, but it has been great. Best $1000.00 dollars ever spent.

The $900 refrigerator started giving us problems about 2 months after purchasing (made strange clicking and buzzing sounds and would stop cooling and had to be unplugged and then re-plugged into the outlet a couple of times to get it to start working). Fast forward to the present (5 months after purchasing) and the refrigerator and freezer have stopped working permanently (despite unplugging and re-plugging as originally suggested by Frigidaire customer service). After waiting nearly an hour to speak to a person, I managed to get Frigidaire to arrange for a repairman who told us the compressor was shot and the entire unit would have to be replaced. Learned that Frigidaire and its service partners DO NOT COMMUNICATE after another nearly one hour wait on Frigidaires customer service number (when I finally got a person, I waited another 20 minutes as the rep called the repair service to confirm what Id been told). While the repairman had told me the refrigerator would be replaced, Frigidaire says they will first have to check if parts are available (a compressor and a heater). I am now waiting for Frigidaire Corporate to reach out to me with details on how they plan to honor their standard 12-month manufacturers warranty (I should hear back within 72 hours according to what I was told by the service rep). Weve now been without a refrigerator for over one week without any idea of how long it will take to get this situation resolved. According to other reviews Ive read, it may well take over a month!

My wife worked and saved for a LONG time because she wanted to upgrade the kitchen. Once she felt she had saved up enough, she went shopping for a houseful of appliances. She liked the Frigidaire Gallery line and the Affinity washer and dryer. In October of 2010, we took delivery of stainless gas range, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator along with new washer and dryer. The only good thing to be said about Frigidaire is the smudge-proof stainless is the real deal. Too bad its not worth the aggravation. I would rather clean the front of the fridge every day, than deal with this brand ever again. We have paid for extended service contracts on all of the appliances since 2010 and with good reason. The washer has been repaired at least 8 times. It also stinks inside quite often. There was a class action suit for this and all you get is a check for $50. We used it to buy vinegar to clean it periodically (the only thing that works). Dryer has been repaired at least 3 times, if not more. Dishwasher repaired once. Gas range did a weird thing where if you tried to light one burner, all the igniters would fire up. That took time for parts, but it was otherwise usable. The refrigerator, where to begin??? Constant noise and malfunctions with the ice maker. Also, it would never stop making ice, even after the ice bin was full. After five repairs, my wife convinced someone in customer service it was time to replace the fridge. Fridge number two had the same issue with the ice maker, it would never stop making ice. You know the bin is too full when water drips from the ice dispenser. In 2014, we moved and washer, dryer and fridge #2 came with us. My wife likes her appliances to match, so she bought a new Gallery gas range, microwave and dishwasher.Fridge #2 didnt make it far into 2015. Ice maker stopped making ice. Deemed un-repairable, enter fridge number 3. Fridge #3 also has the issue with never stopping ice production. The icemaker was replaced (they finally re-engineered it so they didnt have to bring you a new fridge every time the ice maker quit). #3 is a little noisier than 1 and 2, but tolerable. Also, the replacement ice maker never stops making ice... Two cubic foot microwave deemed un-repairable after just 2 years. They agreed to replace it, but they dont make a 2.0 anymore, we could get a 1.75 cubic foot. Ok, but that unit is cheaper than the one its replacing, are we getting money back? You guessed it, no. They will add 3 months to the original warranty - TAKE IT, YOULL NEED IT!!! We were without a microwave for six weeks while waiting for Frigidaire and Lowes to communicate with one another. As I am typing this, its been almost a week since weve been able to use the gas range after it filled our home with gas. The nice man from the gas company put a DANGER tag on it and shut the gas supply to it. Frigidaire service said someone would be out the next day to look at it, but weve been down that road many, many times and we knew no one would be out the next day. Called the service company and, sure enough, earliest appointment was two weeks out. Call Frigidaire back and said we cant be without a range for two weeks. They said they would escalate to scheduling team, I said, You need to authorize a replacement now. No, we only escalate. I need to talk to a manager. Get Angela on the phone, shes like a parrot and says the same things over and over again. She promised a call back with status the next day, never heard from her again. Called her and left messages twice, no response. If you are reading this and am wondering if my wife and I would recommend Frigidaire appliances... Wed ask you why would you want to do that to yourself? If you just have to have smudge-proof stainless, never be without the extended contracts. Never. Customer service has only gotten worse over the past eight years and my wife is truly regretting the decision to go with Frigidaire.

I purchased a new Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator and had it delivered in January of 2016. I bought it through Best Buy and the delivery was an absolute nightmare. Right away there were issues. I ordered a model with black exterior and received one that was grey and was told that the model I purchased was no longer offered in black. I agreed to keep the model that had been shipped. From the beginning the unit made a lot of unusual noise. Within the first year the water and cubed ice indicator lights quit working and the ice maker would freeze up so much in the back that the auger couldn’t turn to dispense the ice. Every couple of months I would shut the ice maker off and the ice would thaw and water would run out and down the front of the refrigerator door. It seemed to function better through the warmer months of the year. In December of 2017 the ice maker stopped working altogether. I recently called a local repair company to come out and take a look at it. I was told by the repairman that the problems that I am having stem from a flaw in the design of this particular model and that Frigidaire is well aware of that. They build a moisture barrier kit to replace the design flaw in the back of the unit. This flaw causes moisture to continuously build around the water lines, the fan, and the ice maker and it freezes causing the ice build up and malfunction of the cooling fan for the ice maker. This inevitably led to the electronic panels failing. I have been quoted by him at just over 800.00 to repair all items with no guarantee that it won’t happen again. I paid nearly 2500.00 for the refrigerator with two years of use and I’m facing an 800.00 repair with no guarantee of a repeat problem. I contacted Frigidaire to ask if they would at least be willing to assist in offsetting some of the repair cost. I asked them why, knowing that a problem existed so much so to create a repair kit, did they not contact consumers to offer this repair kit before problems like mine came about? They had no good answer for me. They have offered to send me the sweat kit that they claim fixes the moisture build up but are not willing to assist me with any further parts or repairs. So, here I sit stuck with a 2500.00 two year old refrigerator that requires 800.00 in repairs with no guarantee that it won’t happen again. Quality product and customer satisfaction is clearly a thing of the past.

I purchased this refrigerator new about a year and a half ago. Within the first month, the entire refrigerator had to be replaced. Since then, both the upper and lower ice makers have been replaced and worked on multiple times. The refrigerator is now out of warranty. Since the warranty ran out, the ice maker has had to be worked on twice. I have now had to purchase an extended warranty to pay for parts and labor that should be covered under warranty since the problems began right after the purchase. I should NOT have had all these problems within this short time frame since purchase. I have called Frigidaire about 8 times in 4 days, and I still have not had a repairman to my house to fix the problem. To me, this is unacceptable. I am very disappointed, and I will never purchase a Frigidaire product again. Dealing with customer service has been a waste of everyones time!

Frigidaire recommended a service rep for the Kingsport, TN area to repair an oven door inner glass. I took the oven door along with the Frigidaire Range model number and serial number and the manual that was supplied with the stove to Milhorn Appliance Co., Kingsport, TN. I was given an estimate to replace the door glass of $59.95 plus $50.00 labor. It was to be picked up the following Wednesday. When I called to verify the pick-up, I was told that the price now would be $170.74. Milhorn would not return the door without the glass. The range cost $595. I would not have agreed to the increased price. I would have bought another stove. Frigidaire continues to recommend this shop.

We purchased a complete suite of Gallery kitchen appliances approximately 2 years ago. Some observations: they look nice but the dishwasher leaked and damaged the kitchen floor. Negotiating repairs was a hassle. Since repaired, no new problem(s). Does a reasonable job but Bosch washers are clearly superior. PS: I ate the floor damage repairs rather than do the dance with Frigidaire. They are not easy to work with. The refrigerator froze items in the bins. There was a part missing (possibly an upgrade that was not with the unit) that diverted frozen/refrigerated air into the bin area. I installed it - it is better now. The unit moans, groans, squeaks, sighs, moans as though its possessed. We were told its normal. Normal? Maybe. Annoying for sure. The ice dispenser shoots ice all over the place. The exterior stainless surfaces are thin. They are generally non-smudge but the door handles are not. The range (glass top) controls suck. The porcelain finish chips very easily. The oven is fine, the convection feature is very nice. The microwave oven is OK. The controls and timer - reminder beeps are annoying. Would I buy them again? No. Id happily pay more for a superior product.

I would caution anyone any one who is considering purchasing a Frigidaire product. We purchased a complete Frigidaire Gallery stainless steel set of appliances for our kitchen. In 10 months, we have had issues with every single appliance. It first started with our fridge. The compressor was bad right when we received it. Our appliance vendor replaced it. Afterwards, it also started leaking water on our hardwood floors in our newly built custom house and spoiled all of our groceries. We called Frigidaire to file a complaint and also asked for a food credit to replace the $700 Costco trip we had just put in there. The response was basically, We dont really care and we dont do food credits anymore - read line 22 of your warranty.”When our appliance vendor finally replaced the fridge (what a battle this was), they gave us a free upgrade to a Frigidaire Professional series. Days after delivery, the fridge leaked a ton of water on the floors again. The repairman came and discovered a bad water valve and repaired it. A couple of months later, our microwave started arching. Talk about a scary and dangerous situation. We had yet another repairman out and he fixed it. While fixing it, he shared with us the philosophy of many appliance companies. They basically make cheap stuff and it needs to be fixed often. It’s a sad realization after you spend thousands on appliances. Just recently, we have had our gas range have a gas valve go bad and then our dishwasher flooded our kitchen due to a bad gasket. I have had to fight with the appliance vendor to get them to take our appliances back and allow us to get another line of them. It has been extremely frustrating. I dont even want to see the Frigidaire logo at this point and will never buy anything from them again. I would caution anyone who is considering Frigidaire. I wouldnt take something of theirs even if it was free.

Within 6 months we had to have ALL the cooktop, microwave and refrigerator serviced, with the exception of the dishwasher (knock on wood). Fast forward to this year, we wanted to stay with the Professional line since that is what we purchased last year. Received the brand new double wall oven this afternoon, 12/15/2021. Within 30 minutes of the installers leaving the stupid oven gives an Error Code message (F47). My husband has been on hold for more than. We have spent over $7,000 for appliances for them not to work!!!! We were told that the Professional product line was the top of the line appliances for Frigidaire. I will be writing the CEO Mr. Alan Shaw, the Board and everyone else about my issues. I will also be writing up reviews on all of my social media pages. This is ridiculous! I was about to go with Samsung appliances but decided on Frigidaire because I figured that I would have more problems with Samsung. I should have followed my first mind because I am beyond frustrated with Frigidaire Professional. And to make matters worse....its the week before Christmas! People are on this site are here for two reasons: to make a complaints or to review a product. To those who are reviewing, this is for you. I purchased 4 Frigidaire appliances from Pacific Sales in Irvine CA in October of 2011. Within 8 months, I had 7 service calls for dishwasher leaking twice, Magnatron replacement twice and door repair on microwave, and refrigerator drawer breaking and replacement of ice maker. 2 1/2 years later my once quiet dishwasher competes with my refrigerator, my microwave is making funny noises so much that we have a replacement standing by in the garage, the stainless steel range is peeling and the refrigerator back is sopping wet with condensation, not to mention that it runs LOUDLY 24 hours a day. This was $4700 worth of appliances! Now I guess we should have purchased the extended warranties, however I felt that my last (cheap) appliances lasted (hot point range and dishwasher 16 years & Kenmore refrigerator 22 years) so it wasnt necessary. Yesterday, I spoke to Frigidaire customer service? because the repairman advised me to do so. What I received was a telemarketing service doing a hard sell for an extended warranty service for $269. Really? Like receiving numerous Last Chance Extended Warranty service notifications in the mail for the last 2 1/2 years wasnt enough. The representatives could not explain to me why their appliances can only be expected to last for one year. So I am now (after time wasted with repairmen & Frigidaire sales people) looking for a new refrigerator, taking that stand by Frigidaire microwave back to Home Depot, reviewing dishwashers online and peeling my range. My advise is DO NO BUY FRIGIDAIRE APPLIANCES!

Not happy I replace yet another element at my cost. Well this one only lasted 3 months. With ZERO support from Frigidaire we are buying another Dryer and will NEVER buy another Frigidaire product ever again.

I bought a gas range 2 and 1/2 years ago. The first year the oven did not work and the repair was covered under the 1 year warranty.. About 1 year later the oven broke again, not under warranty but after contacting the company they agreed to replace the part and I would pay the labor. The labor was $140 and it took 3 new parts. Last week the oven did not work once again, and I got the company to agree to the same arrangement. The labor was $140, the part was priced at $33... The oven still does not work and I have lost confidence in the product. The company said that the last part was guaranteed for 30 days, but I know that when I call for service they will find a new part to fix and charge me another $140.. I asked the company to replace this unit, there has been no reply..

Grab a bag of popcorn and get ready... I bought the dishwasher, back in March 2016 from the local Home Depot store for my remodeled kitchen. The unit worked perfect for the first 10 to 11 months. Note, I dont have any kids and the unit did get used a lot. Maybe 2 times a month. Around Jan/Feb 2017 the unit began to leak from under the door. I called the company & explained to them in detail the problem. They set me up with a 3rd party service repairman (contracted out) by their choice. This guy arrives a week later. He had to be about 80 some years old. I had to help him off the floor, as he couldnt get up on his own. He told me he thought he knew what the problem was, would order a part, & get back to me. About 2 weeks went by and never heard from this guy, at least to update me. I called him & politely left him a few messages, and he never returned my calls. I called Frigidaire and told them the same. They called the repair guy and got back to me & said he was backed up with other customers. I told Frigidaire, thats no excuse not to at least return my calls. I asked for another service company and they agreed, but it wasnt easy. The other service company came a week later. It took this service company a total of 6 visits over 2 to 3 months to try and diagnose the problem at which by the 3rd visit the service repairman said, this unit is unrepairable but Frigidaire is going to make me try and do everything possible before a replacement, thats how shady they are. At the 5th visit while the repairman was trying to fix the unit, he had Frigidaire Corporate Repair Center on speaker phone. They suggested to the repairman (as I overheard the conversation) that to go ahead and find parts from a different model or dishwasher company and start replacing the customers dishwasher parts with them. I started to flip. The repairman said we are not going that route. Thats like taking parts of a 1990 junk car and putting them on a 2017 Caddy. LMFAO. So just think what kind of replacement appliances Frigidaire sends to customers. HMMM. OBVIOUSLY NOT BRAND NEW ONES.Finally, after the 6th service call Frigidaire replaced the unit on May 12, 2017. It arrived and was set up. It worked for the first few hours/day. The next morning I got up and ran a cycle following the directions precisely. Guess what? It leaked. LMFAO. I called the company back told them about the problem. The company was really rude and ignorant on the phone with me. I told them I dont have time for another 6 service calls with my job, etc. Furthermore, I dont want a replacement unit, just my money back as the unit was nearly $675. I told them I wanted to take my business elsewhere. A day later, another corporate bigwig called me and said we will deliver you a 3rd unit without repairing the 2nd one. I thought, well, Ill hope for the best, even though this is not what I wanted. A week after Memorial Day my 3rd unit arrives. It was set up by their 3rd party contractor. They turned it on and BAM, the piece of junk malfunctioned and started to leak. The 3rd party company assured me it was not on my end as far as plumbing, etc, as I already had all this looked at. The 3rd party company (who Frigidaire pays) educated me, the consumer, that they are taking my 2nd unit and leaving the 3rd unit at my house and on the paper statement writing 3rd unit set up properly, malfunctioning/leaking. The 3rd party company told me to contact Frigidaire for further instructions on what to do with the unit on how to get refund/replacement. I called Frigidaire and explained the same to them and they were nasty on the phone to me, stating it was all my fault for signing for it and now they have to go ahead with scheduling repairs. I told them NO REPAIRS. I told them come get the junk unit and give me a refund, but they REFUSE to agree with the CUSTOMER and keeping saying on the phone I understand your frustration. I tell them they are a bunch of clowns trained to say that, because if they were in my shoes they wouldnt be saying that. Their final sentence to me was, when you are ready for the repairs call us back. Then those ** hung up. Doesnt make sense how the 2nd unit was replaced without any repairs but now they want to go ahead and make repairs to the 3rd one? What a bunch of ass clowns.I am now working with my local Home Depot. A nice manager is working on the case for me. He is going to work with vendor and submit a claim for the lemon law. I should hear back within the next day or two. I told Home Depot I will gladly keep my $675 within the store if I can just bring the stupid junk unit back and get a different brand/unit not Frigidaire product. The manager agrees I have been thru way too much. Frigidaire customer service is absolutely horrible and sucks. They are the most ignorant people I have ever dealt with my life. I have seen and heard dogs at a local SPCA get treated better than this company treats humans, its disgusting. Think long and hard before committing and buying any of these products because in the long run it just isnt worth it!

Brand new purchase refrigerator FGHB2866 12/16. Delivered 12/21. Out of the box ice maker does not work! Contacted seller. Told them I want a new refrigerator in working condition - they told me it is not Frigidaires policy to replace - still to contact frigidaire. Also brand new range - FGGF2058RFC - during operation of the oven the control knobs for the stove top get extremely hot due to vent placement directly underneath knobs - poorly designed - should not have to wear a mitt to turn knobs! Dishwasher DGCD2444SA1A out of the box - dent and scratch lower left hand door panel - not quality control. Products are made in Mexico, China etc. Not USA made. Frigidaire products are junk.

I bought Galaxy range. When I cooked for thanksgiving dinner, the backside of the range with its computer components and keypad melted. PC Richards sent a repair person out who said that we used pots that were too large. We did not use enormous pots aside from there should not be melting components on an appliance that gets hot. It is a fire hazard! Frigidaire keeps apologizing for this defective appliance but not giving solution to a useless range. I am told by Frigidaire that I can only use pots that do not extend over the burners in the back. The burners are 2 inches and 4 inches in diameter? Who has pots that small?

I purchased all new appliances for our kitchen 3 years ago. We bought the professional series 2 door refrigerator with the bottom freezer, the professional dishwasher, the professional cooktop, the professional double oven and the gallery convection/microwave with the ventless hood.. We have had continual issues with the double oven model number fpet3077rfa. Initial install the motherboard and fans burned and almost caught our house on fire. Then we used the self cleaning mode a few months later and the upper oven had several failures and took over 2 months to get it properly repaired. Now both ovens do not cook food evenly. The back half will be burned and the front half will not be fully cooked. Two weeks ago our convection/microwave model number fgmv154clfa completely stopped working. It is not the breaker and there is power to the unit. We have called a service company but they are two weeks out before they can make it here. Our refrigerator is making strange noises and with all we have had to deal with it is overwhelming. We spent a lot of money getting what we thought was quality, top of the line appliances that would last us 10 years plus and they have been problems since day 1. We will not purchase Frigidaire products again.C.

I purchased a Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator back in November 2011. It had the refrigerator on top and the freezer drawer was on the bottom. The Icemaker that dispensed ice was up in the freezer section. I found a couple weeks ago after pulling the refrigerator out to investigate something that there was a chunk of ice that had eaten its way through the back of the refrigerator and was rusting up all around it. When the repairman came out, he said it was a common defect found with this model (#FGHB2844LF7) because Frigidaire had not put any sealant around the ice maker so the air from the fridge was making direct contact with the air in the ice maker and was causing ice buildup in the ice maker which built up over time. The result was that the build up of ice ate a hole through the back of the refrigerator and that it was losing efficiency. The worst part was that as the ice would melt and drip down over time, it was slowly working into the wood floor and causing it to warp. If you have this product, I would look into this to ensure you dont have the issue. The repairman said this product should have been recalled years ago.

Grating noises from ice maker FFHS2611LWMA. I selected this refrigerator b/c it was available to be delivered the next day. Now I know why! Nobody in their right mind should want to purchase this unit. Shortly after delivery, we experienced a racket beyond belief. It is so loud it wakes me up at night. We called an approved service technician, while under warranty. He stated this is just the unit. There is nothing to be done. Two letters to Frigidaire. Today after the 2nd letter, the rep. suggested I contact an approved service provider. I asked her why would I do this, when the provider operates under the dictates of the manufacturer. Therefore, I would incur an expense for no corrective measures whatsoever.... She further stated, this sound is standard for this unit. As for my experience, I have concluded...Frigidaire is aware of this loud and disruptive feature and continues to sell it to unsuspecting customers. The least they could do would be to put a disclaimer on the unit. PLEASED BE ADVISED THAT YOU ARE PURCHASING A BANGING, KNOCKING, ANNOYING REFRIGERATOR. THANK YOU FOR YOUR BUSINESS!!!

I have had my range nearly a year. FFEF3051TBC model number and serial number VF73535062. I have had this range for almost a year and the door falls off constantly until it stripes out. 2 small bolts holds the whole door together. I put it back on the first 7 times until it stripped and had to be replaced and took a month and a half to get parts and them to fix it. Worked for almost a month and same things now happened. I put it on 6 times until it stripped out again now and had to order parts again. Was 5 to 6 weeks again before it was fixed. Work for almost 5 weeks. Now it is broke again about 4 weeks before Thanksgiving and now it’s Tues. And Thanksgiving is Thursday, family coming in and I can’t cook dinner. I have called corporate office many many times they say they have to fix it and only replace if the heat measured isn’t good. Well I have been without the range for 3 months and growing and while it is torn up I am sure it’s not heating right. The bottom is burned and top of food not done. I would never recommend this product to anyone. They try to put it off and off until warranty runs out. I have a new house with a new stove I can hardly use grrr. SO UPSET. I wish I had went with Amman’s product.

We purchased all Frigidaire appliances 4 years ago and we have not been happy with any of them! Our ice maker stopped working 3 months ago and our gas range scratched up so easily on the top by the burner grills that we had that replaced after 6 months! We also had to replace the bottom panel in the oven because it scratched with normal cleaning using a scrubby. Now I have a permanent white spot in between the glass on the oven door. Sent an email to Frigidaire with my dissatisfaction for both appliances and heard nothing! We too are retired and we do not abuse our appliances. I’ve had ranges and refrigerators that have lasted for more than 20 years and still looked brand new. Do not buy Frigidaire appliances. Lowe’s doesn’t care and apparently either does Frigidaire. Cheaply made and made to fall apart after 5 years.

After 9 months of frustration and three failed attempts to repair our fridge, Frigidaire replaced our unit with an identical unit. I had to request a supervisor multiple times, but the supervisor was understanding. Immediately when we plugged in the replacement we noticed a difference in the operation making even clearer that our initial unit was a lemon. I also complained on Electrolux and Frigidaires Facebook pages and they sent a $100 gift card to help cover food spoilage. Lowes protection plan also covered $130 for food loss. Since Frigidaire did give us a warranty replacement I updated my rating to 3 stars from 1, but since the process and experience were not what I expected from spending hard earned money we will not be buying another Frigidaire or Electrolux product.

Bought my electric range a few years ago. Got a great deal on a discontinued model. Love the ceramic top -- easy to clean, although it no longer looks just like new. Stove top and oven work fine and I do a lot of cooking and baking. It's simple to use. Don't like appliances with too many features that make them complicated to operate. Must hold the temperature well because baked goods always get done in the amount of time recommended in the recipe. Love that it's white too. Looks so nice and bright.

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing all new appliances for my kitchen.....Ive been a Frigidaire user in the past and loved the quality of the appliances. I was concerned about some comments on this site, so I investigated other sites and stores. I am extremely happy with the new smudge-proof stainless Professional Series appliances. With 9 grandchildren and a house at the beach these appliances take a beating. Ice maker is amazing....constant ice and quick too!..Range looks and works great...perfect temp rate. Dishwasher is quiet and cleans very well...I got the plastic tub as I always had a problem with wet tub and wet dishes with the stainless interior and I am happy with the choice. Finally, the micro....did have to have service out as soon as we installed...It was due to a loose interior part.....Fixed in 5 minutes by a very professional looking/acting repairman. So, I would recommend the Frigidaire products.....Price is great, products look stylish, and work very well. I did get extended warranty...just in case. Compared with my kids Sub Zero and GE Profile products.......I got the best deal!

This stove isnt practical at all for everyday cooking. It needs constant cleaning or it looks like hell. The rubber feet under the grates melted away after year and go look up much it costs to replace them. After a year the black paint in the back started coming off despite my best efforts to be careful. The back should be porcelain so it can be scrubbed. Paint just sucks. The burners dont even come close to heating evenly. Its really bad! If youre lucky and have a really old stove, keep it. None of the modern stoves seem fit for heavy use. Parts wear out quickly and cost a fortune. I have called Frigidaire and they wont give me new rubber feet but tried to sell them to me for the same high price. I hope they go out of business.

I bought a Frigidaire front load washer, and have had problems right from the start, so we had gotten a extended warranty through Frigidaire, and have had problem after problem (serviced at least 7 times in 3 1/2 years), and told from a Manager at customer service Jennifer that not only will they not replace this lemon of a washer, but are not responsible for the horrible service men they send out to my home, the first one General key Stone tried to lie and say it was something I put in my washer causing the problem to the company, but told me different, and found out from another service man that he just lied cause it was a hard to get to piece he had to replace, and then that service man who came back several times hit a valve and caused my basement to somewhat flood with this rusted water from a old pipe that was not being used, and brand new towels were ruined, along with a throw rug. You also have to wait for the servicemen to come, (and take off from work these days, and pay for wash to be cleaned while waiting), and then wait at least a week or 2 or 3 for the parts, and then another week for the repair Apt. This company is of no help. Do not buy anything from Frigidaire including any service contract. Youre better off just buying a new machine from a good company like Whirlpool. Will never purchase anything from Frigidaire again.

When I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager (I think it was the same person back on the line) I was finally able to get 50% off the part only. They would not stand behind a 3 year old product. That in itself tells you something. Not only did I have to pay $100 to find out the freezers compressor was bad but I lost over $800 worth of food that spoiled. Never again will I purchase a Frigidaire product. I paid $125.00 more than I paid for the Frigidaire in 2015 and got a Maytag with a 10 year guarantee on the compressor. I have a Frigidaire affinity front loading dryer. I bought the Frigidaire dryer that has a lint catcher in the front. The screen frame has large plastic taps at each side to prevent the screen from sliding to far in the slot. I cannot count how many times I have had clothes ripped, straps torn off and ruined by getting caught on the lint screen tabs. I have had a professional look at it. I have called on this issue and I am told there is nothing basically that can be done except I can purchase dryer bags used for pantyhose to place my clothes in to protect them. And the dryer screen is lose and allows lint to pass through the slot meant to catch the lint. This has resulted now in the dryer over heating and the element burning out in the dryer. Again, why did I purchase this dryer?

Weve had this oven for four months now. It takes 30-40 minutes to preheat (to 350 or 400 degrees). The stench of resin from assembly, that the instructions promised would go away after a couple of uses, has still not gone away after 30+ uses. The racks for the oven are too narrow (or the walls of the oven are warped/poorly made). If you set a medium size casserole dish on the racks (with food in it)... the rack can fall out of its supports. I keep thinking to myself; how long have manufacturers been making ovens? Is it really that hard to provide an appliance this simple without design, manufacturing, and quality control flaws?

My washing machine has not worked since early Nov. 2016. Frigidaire has sent two different repair companies. The first one gave up as they were not able to fix it, the second repair company has not been able to figure out whats wrong with it. They tried changing the computer first which did not fix the machine. 2nd they tried changing something with the door which also did not fix the machine. It has been a pattern of trying different things without success. The current repair company has told us that the machine is not repairable and has also told the Frigidaire, but Frigidaire technicians keep insisting on trying different things.Throughout all this, We have had a total of 5 visits from the repair companies. I had to miss 3 days of work because I have to be home when they go to the home. The second company was able to work on Saturdays, but Frigidaires technicians are not available on weekend so the repair person cant talk on the phone with them while they look at the machine. I have complained about their process without any success since we still dont have a machine that works. I have spoken with 3 supervisors and one manager and keep getting the same message that their technicians still want to try something else. So they shipped some cables supposedly next day delivery on the week of 12/13 so we set up an appointment on 12/20 for the repair company to show up. The cables never made it to the home so I canceled the appointment with the repair company.I spoke with Frigidaire and now the cables were going to be deliver on 12/31 so I set another appointment with the repair company on 1/3. The cables never arrived on 12/31 so I canceled another appointment. Now Frigidaire tells me that the cables will not be deliver until 1/6/17. By now we are on two months in with a machine that is supposed be new and does not worked. I was also told by one Frigidaires support technicians that their notes showed repairs done in 1/16/16 for a similar issue with the door, before I actually moved to the new condo, purchased the condo on 2/16/16 with all new appliances. Unfortunately they are all from Frigidaire and given my current experience with this company I will never purchase and will tell friends to not purchase from this company. This also means that when the cables actually get delivered I will have to miss a 4th day of work so that the repair person can see the machine. It has been a nightmare dealing with Frigidaire as they are very insensitive to their customers needs, they seem to not care for their customers as we are now two months in without a working machine. Thank you.

Customer service nightmare. I purchased all new kitchen appliances from Frigidaire back in October. My microwave has broken twice. That is not the good part though. I have had to contact Frigidaire who also offers no advice. The truth is that the nuts on top of the microwave are not attached and rolling around loose in the machine. So there is nothing for the bolts to screw into. I have explained this again and again and nobody there understands what nuts are or the purpose of them. Frigidaire cannot wrap their brains around that and keep telling me there is nothing more that they can do. I have had a defective microwave in my kitchen since. I have sent this to Frigidaire twice now in two weeks with no call or reply. Their auto-reply states you will get a call back within 48 hours. We purchased some land and built a house on it in October of 2014. I went online and compared ratings for the 5 appliances we were going to put in our new house. Frigidaire was one of the few that had pretty solid ratings for all five appliances we needed. We had our builder work with his appliance company which was out of I think Tappahannock, Virginia. They ordered and installed all of them. The appliances we purchased are as follows: Dishwasher (Mod# FGID2474QF0A SN# KH41722641), Refrigerator (Mod# FFSS2614QS0 SN# 4A42730844), Cook Top Stove (Mod# FPEC3685H5A SN# 3535107151), Microwave (Mod# FGMV175QFA SN# KG42705552), Double Oven (Mod# FFET2725PSC SN# AF41601871).Here is a list of the issues to date. Microwave - before we could even use it the front door had issues and it had to be replaced. Refrigerator - this issue still exists and is the latest issue we have experienced. Ice Maker not getting water to the ice maker. I have changed the filter and worked with your support person and the issue still exists. Cook Top Stove - this was the biggest issue we had. Little Appliance came to our house at least 6 times for this unit. We went without a stove for 3 weeks or more one time and a week or two another time. After several attempts they finally replaced the whole unit. Dishwasher - The operator panel was just locking up intermittently and I think after two visits they replaced the board for this issue. Double Oven - this issue still exist as well. When the unit says it is preheated I believe it is the top over still is not as hot as the bottom oven. We were told to give it an extra 15 to 20 minutes after it says it is preheated. I would like a call back from a manager within Frigidaire to discuss these issues. Some additional Information - we have three people that use the products in this house all at the age of 48 and up. No kids.

In February 2018, after seven years of owning a basic cheap model dishwasher (that was working fine), we decided to upgrade to a Frigidaire dishwasher. What an awful mistake; our nice, new, fancy dishwasher stopped working this week. We had a repairman out and were informed that the dishwasher needed a new motor. That is absolutely ridiculous - the dishwasher gets very little usage but is now totally useless to us. Do not, do not, DO NOT purchase a Frigidaire dishwasher. Frigidaire has been in business for years and you would think they would have gotten it right by now. When I was growing up there were a few products that everyone loved: Frigidaire, Tupperware and S&H Green Stamps. (I am really dating myself) S&H Green Stamps are long gone, Tupperware is almost exclusively online and Frigidaire no longer equals quality. What a sham and a shame.

Im selling my house and got an offer, the buyers inspector finds my Frigidaire stove has a recall, havent been fixed. And this fixing was put in that 1 week offer as a condition. When I call Frigidaire, they tell me to post the parts and later arrange the service, and 24 hours later thered be an automatic email send to me. I told buyers side that we will provide the email for them to delete the condition. But several days later I havent got this email. I called back but they said they dispatch the recall request to a service company but failed to tell me, and no email at all. Why not tell me? I told you its an important email for me. Because its a mistake! Im not happy so I want to complain. But the lady just said, If you dont have other things to help hope you have a good day, and hang up the phone! Its worst customer service I ever have!

Frigidaire apparently is one the few manufacturers that wants to deal directly with purchasers of their products. You wouldnt think so today after their service representative wouldnt let me speak to his manager and hung up on me. I bought a refrigerator one month ago from a store in Vaughan. It arrived defective from Frigidaire. They scratched my hardwood, my brand new white rug had black marks on and my walls were damaged. Fixable, but annoying nonetheless. The same day the fridge was delivered, I sent a video to the delivery department, who sent it to Frigidaire, showing the problems/defects. Someone was supposed to get back to us within a few days. A few weeks later, there was still no call from anyone, no follow up. After a total of six calls, waiting 20+ minutes each time for someone to pick up, getting constantly passed off and their CSRs passing the buck back onto us to follow up with them once again if we dont hear back, we finally got a technician out to look at the refrigerator, almost one month later. Repair guy stayed for less than 5 minutes and told us the unit was non-repairable. I called Frigidaire again, waited for another 20+ minutes, and spoke to Rodney, who put me on a long hold. He kept switching off his mic while I was trying to explain what happened. He clearly wasnt interested in helping at all so I asked to speak to a manager instead. He said no. A few times he refused. I asked why and he said because. Then he pretended he couldnt hear me asking and hung up on me. This experience really left a terrible taste in my mouth. People, if you need to buy appliances, rethink choosing Frigidaire. Do your research and try to choose a manufacturer that wont treat you like total garbage after you spend thousands on their product.

Im writing on behalf of my daughter who is due to give birth any day now and who has waited since January for Frigidaire to make right a product that does not work. In the last four weeks, Ive spent nearly 8 hours on hold BEFORE I could actually talk to someone, and though it has been 8 months, the replacement dishwasher which Frigidaire was supposed to deliver has not been delivered. On two occasions, delivery men have brought out a new dishwasher but then, mysteriously, the new machine was deemed broken in delivery and impossible to install. Ive been instructed to send copies of documents to prove our purchase even though they have record of the fact that she owns it. I am waiting for Frigidaire to deliver a serial tag to me - Im supposed to attach it to a rebate email. I have never received the tag.My belief is that Frigidaire is attempting to get out of replacing the product which has never worked by delaying until it is no longer in warranty. They are a dishonest company, run by incompetents or worse, they are criminals and are happy to take money and try to grind consumers down by making their service impossible to get all the while recorded messages assure those of us on hold that Frigidaire is concerned and cares about its customers. RUN, RUN, RUN, but do not buy anything any Frigidaire.

I purchased a Frigidaire washer and dryer in July of 2015. Almost immediately I need service due to the washer leaking, not filling up with water properly and the dryer would not dry the clothes completely. Since then, I have had 11 separate service calls on the units. Each time, there is a 4 hour window for service which requires me to be off work. They have replaced every part on the washer and most computerized parts on the dryer. Now, the washer has the same problem that caused the original service call. I have made numerous calls to the customer service line and always get the same response. Customer service say they are meeting to decide how to proceed and promise a return call. They never do. I have to call them, start the entire conversation history over with another customer service rep.We are now in June of 2016. I may have had 2 weeks of continual usage of the washer and dryer until the next problem with the machines occur. I have asked them to recognize that they sold me a defective product and to stop trying to fix the unfixable and send me a new machine. I have explained to them that my unit got by their quality control department and that they sold me a lemon, a machine that obviously does not work as intended. Of course, the warranty will expire in July and they will then have no obligation to fix (joke) the units. If this was a automobile, it would be recalled. If this was medical care, it would be malpractice. You would think a company of this size would realize that they sold me a bad product and make it right.Today I emailed the CEO Jonas Samuelson with my complaints. Hoping but with major doubts I will hear back. Buyers, beware of this company and good luck dealing with their lack of customer service. PS: I still have no washer and dryer going on 30 days from the last service call. Apparently, they are waiting for parts to arrive. Guess they never heard of USPS or UPS overnight shipping.

Has made my summer very comfortable and relaxing without having to worry about the heat. The air conditioner runs cold and is an extremely great product. Will always stick with this brand. The performance of the air conditioner is extremely well. It has multiple settings to help improve a better experience for those hot summer days. It has a great look to it as well as being easy to use. White in color, multiple settings, easy to see buttons, clear writing as well as big buttons. I haven't had any problems with this product. It has been very reliable, the filter has stayed very clean throughout the summer without having to be cleaned or replaced. It turns on no problems and cools down a room extremely quickly.

I’m posting my review to warn others. Frigidaire refused to post my review bc it may steer customers “away”. Ridiculous. My husband and I saved up for 10 years to do our kitchen remodel. We used the Frigidaire Pro Line for all of our appliances. I have never been more disappointed with a refrigerator. I chose this model because of the smudge proof finish. This is biggest mistake we made for our entire renovation! This fridge accepts magnets and so naturally we excitedly hung up our children’s artwork. In less than two weeks (after removing the artwork to dust the fridge face) I discovered that the ENTIRE front of it was scratched with fine scratches from the magnets. I am just sick over this! Nowhere in the manual does it say NOT to use magnets on the surface. Since it accepted magnets in the first place, we assumed that was considered normal and acceptable use of the fridge. The magnets I used were brand new and not rough! The surface of this unit is ridiculously easy to scratch! Had I have known this fact, I would have NEVER chosen this fridge. It was a giant purchase for us and now I have to live with it ugly and ruined. Also, I’m now embarrassed to show people my new kitchen because of it. My kitchen looks like “new kitchen, but old fridge”. The worst part for me is I didn’t even get to enjoy having what I thought would be the refrigerator of my dreams. It was ruined before I even got a chance to enjoy it. And now I can’t even enjoy my kitchen remodel that we waited years for, YEARS!Please do not waste your money like we did. Buy a regular stainless steel refrigerator instead and just get used to wiping off fingerprints, because at least they come off! My previous regular stainless steel fridge was over 10 years old and barely had a scratch on it. In comparison this expensive “pro” fridge can’t even operate in the simplest of function, to hold up a calendar and children’s artwork on the front of it, without becoming damaged.

Do not buy Frigidaire - Period. Warranty support is rigid and un-workable.
Do not buy Frigidaire - Period. Warranty support is rigid and un-workable. My $250 de-humidifier failed after seven months, with a bad circuit board (top). To replace the unit, Frigidaire wanted me to drive out of town to a small country location to exchange the defective unit for a replacement. Frigidaire did not provide any assistance beyond that. Note: I live in a 250,000 city/county (Greenville).I repeatedly called to complain regarding the insanity and they finally gave me a special 2nd choice. I could send a certified letter (folks, this costs money, right? How is that warranty support?) with their informational requirements to Charlotte, NC. They expressed no concern regarding how to dispose of a portable unit with refrigerant (not environmentally friendly) but left it with me. I quit using profanity about two years back but this issue brings me close to NOT.Please get this - I did everything - even offered to give a credit card for a purchase/return transaction. 90% of vendors allow transactions like this. Nope - not Frigidaire. In my opinion, they just hate their customers with a happy smile. Youll hear repeatedly... our policy ad nauseam. So, readers... today, I certify that I will no longer buy anything Frigidaire, period. Will not, will not, will not. And after telling them I would be posting something truthful like this, they still didnt care.

What a CHEAP BRAND. We bought brand new house with the FRIGIDAIRE BRAND appliances. From day one we had issue with Fridge door panel and water filter. Never get fixed. We turn on the Range stove and oven it starts making grinding noise. Sound was so loud that makes you scared. Service technician came and mentioned that we would have fire if I was continuing to use it. The fan inside the oven was broken. Top range surface working but the color start coming off. Looks ugly however they don’t cover all this. Ridiculous. Brand new beautiful home with ugly Frigidaire scratched stove. They want you to take additional warranty however they don’t even take responsibility on fixing stuff under one-year warranty. Service people come and they are so rude. When you call the customer service they don’t want to hear anything because they are tired of listening to the complaints all day. Used LG and Samsung Brand in the past. Never ever had an issue at all. We left our 7 years old LG stove which looks 10 times better compare to what I have today with Frigidaire. NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM FRIGIDAIRE

My range is 2 years old and have already had the bottom or the oven replaced 3 times because the porcelain on the bottom cracks, which then sends out a horrible smell and ruins your food. I receive no help from Frigidaire since it is out of its one year manufacture warranty even though the first time was only 4 months old. The Frigidaire company will not even talk to me. When I ask to speak to a manager, I am told their managers do not speak to consumers. My extended warranty is from Lowes; their service center only knows how to answer a question reading off a script. Now my electric board went out so again I go weeks without a oven. What happen to the day when the customer meant something to a business.

Really love it. Had my stove for five years and still work like the first day. Also it dont burn your pots like others stoves in my opinion. Frigidaire its the best product they ever made.

My stove-top is having the exact problem as stated in their recall for the stainless version Depending on the model, the surface heating elements can 1) turn on spontaneously without being switched on; 2) fail to turn off after being switched off;or, 3) heat to different temperatures than selected. This poses a fire and burn hazard to consumers. They are not considering this as a recall.

Ordered a replacement part from this company and they sent the wrong piece. Discovered a problem with the people they have in the ordering department. They do not listen to you, make promises they never keep and the supervisors go only by the reps notes so they intentionally do not put anything in those notes to protect themselves. Called three times for a return form and I was told I never called. Ordered my part from a small business and received it in one day. Terrible customer service.Bought Frigidaire refrigerator, stove and dishwasher for the new addition in 2014. Fridge burned out the motherboard 3 years later (used a 50 year old Sears Coldspot that still works for weeks). Ice maker has always had cubes that stick so it clunks till you pull out the cube. Hardly ever use it. The one time I did turn it on and didnt hear the clunking but when I opened the door I found the entire freezer frozen in a giant ice cube from top to bottom. The dishwasher has had a heat sensor burn out. Also the wash cycle would never advanced till our repairman (not a Frigidaire repairman) told us about a design flaw. You cant use the Hot Wash Cycle ever because it will never heat the water enough to advance out of the wash cycle. The oven door has slots so if you accidentally spill you have to take the entire door apart to clean. Will never buy this product again.
