Shortly after purchasing the $4K refrigerator from a local company, the ice maker stopped working. After talking to another appliance shop, I was informed that the other store would not sell the model sold to us since there was a known defect with a control board. Sure enough after contacting the store we purchased the fridge from and Electrolux, a technician serviced our unit but warned us with all the electronics now in these machines, there would increasing problems. We have a Kenmore 22 in the garage that has worked flawlessly since 1986. So two months ago I get a glass of crushed ice for a drink, and just before downing the last bit of the drink, I spy a large screw at the bottom of the glass. Thankfully I saw it before swallowing it. It came from the front control arm of the ice maker and supports a plastic bushing which acts as a support so the ice maker water tray can go through its cycle of accepting water, passing back to the steel chilled protrusions that dip into the ice, heating up and then tilting to release the ice into the ice container below which feeds to the front dispenser. I re-installed the screw, but the ice maker refuses to completely cycle up the right side of the upper department and stops just shy of the little red switch and simply churns in an endless motor spasm. Does anyone know if there are diagnostic tests you can initiate from the front control panel to actually see where the problem is with the door open?

This product was purchased in December 2006 and installed in our home in April 2007 after our home remodel was completed. When we purchased this product, it came to our home from Home Depot in a box. However, after only 4 years, the freezer has stopped working. And, when the repair man came to check the product, he pointed out to us that the product had welder soot marks around the left back bottom and parts had been refurbished inside the unit. In short, the product was not a new product when we purchased it from Home Depot in 2006.When we contacted Home Depot about this matter, the appliance manager was very concerned and stated that they will be checking all products from Frigidaire for refurbished soot marks. He also stated that the freezer should not have stopped working after just a short length of time.As a result, we have contacted our attorney. Our attorney explained that his office will be contacting the FDA and also the Federal Consumer Affairs Office in Washington and request a full investigation into this matter. It is suspected that Frigidaire is selling refurbished products; and 100s of other consumers may have been scammed as well. The product arrived at my home from Home Depot in the manufacturers box and sold to us as a new product. However, the repair annalist informed us on 3 November 2011 that the product was refurbished not new!We called Frigidaire Customer Care Center today at 1-980-236-2000 and talked to a representative who had an extremely illiterate tone over the phone. In short, he basically told us to go to hell.1000s are being scammed by Electrolux Corp (Frigidaire distributor). Please investigate! Thank you.

Electrolux quite possibly has THE worst customer service I have ever dealt with. For whatever reason the original company we purchased this product(Front Load Washer Model #EIFLS60LT) from, and had provided service previously, no longer services our area. We are pushed into using another company for our warranty service for a washing machine less than 18 months old that suddenly the door will not open on it took over a week for an appointment. The repairman finally came out and got the door open. That was it... They did not check to see if it would cycle... Did not look for additional error codes, etc. Well, of course, as soon as we try a load it craps out with a totally different error code and naturally this is on a holiday weekend. The earliest we can get a repairman out to look is another 8 days out!!!!! Absolutely ridiculous! I plan on posting every negative review that I can and will never purchase an Electrolux product ever again.

All our appliances in the kitchen are from Electolux Icon. In the first year our microwave oven broke down. A few months later our refrigerator did the same. Now our dishwasher is on the fritz. In less than 3 years we had three product failures. I contacted Customer service a number of times and the only solution they advised is to purchase a service plan. The product is very attractive, a bit costly and not reliable. My argument with Electrolux is that service plans are good for older products. As a consumer I should expect 5-8 years of quality performance before we need to service. It is evident that these products are not made to last but heavy dependency on service plans as a solution.

I purchased a brand new built-in style Electrolux refrigerator and it arrived dead. A repair company sent by Electrolux identified the problem being there was no refrigerant, he then told me that my compressor will fail most likely within a year because it was run for a short time without the refrigerant and contaminated. Electrolux is fine to deliver dead products to their customers and will only offer to do repairs - not replace the fridge for a new one. Unfortunately, my compressor may fail outside of the warranty period and despite this being part of the refrigerant problem I will be forced to pay. I will never buy Electrolux products ever again.

I have been waiting 6 weeks for my washer to get fixed. I can’t seem to get anyone in the warranty customer service department at RC Willey to tell me at what point I will have a working washer. The repair company has been out three times to repair the washer with no success. Prior to this I had the dryer fixed 2 times using the Electrolux first year warranty and one time through the RC Willey Warranty. Each repair takes a minimum of 2 weeks to complete. The washer/dryer set is 2 years old. I have contacted Electrolux and they said I have a parts warranty but will have to pay out of pocket if I don’t use the warranty. What is the point of purchasing a warranty if you never have a working product? I’m trying really hard to understand why it is so hard to complete the repairs on the unit I have. If you sell a warranty you should stand behind it. I will never buy Electrolux again and most certainly will never purchase anything from RC Willey. Extremely disappointed in both companies.

My experience with Electrolux appliances is junk, junk, junk!!! I purchase three brand new appliances and they all had to be serviced right out of the packaging!! The french door bottom freezer refrigerator is junk. The ice maker in the bottom drawer was replaced within a month and a half after purchased. The upper ice maker has been replaced once, serviced two more times since then and now needs to be serviced again!! It goes through some type of defrost mode which causes the cubes to melt in both the upper and lower bins, which then drips out of the dispenser in the door and once again it does not make ice. It frosts up behind the ice bin itself which in turn needs to be serviced again to replace some seal. I have always purchased GE appliances and gave Electrolux a try being they are suppose to be a higher end appliance. Never, never again would I purchase Electrolux!!

Warning. Do not buy from this company. We bought a Frigidaire double oven. Paid $1500. The very first time we try to cook on it the unit completely shorted out. We contacted Electrolux. They sent out J&M appliances to repair the unit. They replaced the fans four times, the motherboard three or four times plus numerous other parts. J&M Appliances have been to my house 10 times to fix different things but it went wrong with the unit and four times to diagnose it. They called Electrolux for me trying to get me a new unit being it was only a few months old. Electrolux denied the new unit so, I’ve sent emails to the CEO jonas.samuelson@electrolux.com and I believe it was the Vice President jan.brockmann@electrolux.com. Neither of them have responded back to me. Here’s the kicker. I spoke with a RITA **. She’s some kind of an executive assistant pretty high up. I told her I wanted a new unit. That this was ridiculous having to leave work and meet the service rep 14 times. So she told me she was not going to replace the unit. I was out of luck. Mind you it’s still under the one-year warranty. I have proof with the receipt. She didn’t care. Also Rita ** put a block on my Electrolux account so nobody else can help me with the problem anymore. I’ve called them numerous times asking to speak or two different managers and the managers tell me that she put a lock on it and only she can get into my account now. Be warned about this company. Do not purchase any of their appliances. The one year manufacturer warranty or any other warranties do not matter to this company. Do your research. Read all the reviews on Facebook, Yelp and any other social media. I should’ve done it before I purchased with them. I would not have bought any of my appliances through them. This is one crooked company.

I purchased a Front loader Electrolux brand washer and dryer on February 19
I purchased a Front loader Electrolux brand washer and dryer on February 19 from Home Depot for a Presidents Day sale. I was given a delivery date on March 3. Four days before they were supposed to deliver, Electrolux called me and asked if they could deliver on March 31, because my dryer was back ordered and they would only deliver them together. I told them that was very inconvenient because I had no other washer and dryer and I had a 6 month old baby. I asked them what I should do. They told me to call Home Depot. Home Depot was helpful, they said they would reimburse me $300 the cost it would be for laundry service. On March 28, I called Electrolux to make sure they were delivering my washer/dryer on the 31st. They told me that again my dryer was backordered and they would not be delivering it until May 16. They said there was nothing they could do that I would have to contact Home Depot for any help. I asked if they were planning on just not calling me and letting me sit around all day waiting for my delivery to not happen and she said, Well, we try and contact our customers but we dont always get to everyone. Needless to say, Im fuming angry and I am going to try and cancel my order and find something else.

Where to begin. We purchased all of our Electrolux appliances when we built our new home. Fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer. All Electrolux. We have had the induction stove in the past and loved it, so decided we would buy the same brand for all of our appliances. In the first few months of owning them we had problems with everything. The fridge ice maker gets clogged and leaks water. The microwave light stopped working and was replaced just barely under warranty. The new microwave control panel no longer lights up, therefore we cannot see what we are doing. It is now out of warranty and is apparently our problem. The dishwasher. Wow, what a disaster. It’s quiet and that’s about the only good thing going for it. It leaves the dishes wet no matter what cycle we put it on. We have replaced the control panel not once but twice under warranty and the one side still doesn’t work unless we bang really hard on it. It is now also out of warranty and they will not fix it. The washing machine detergent drawer doesn’t drain properly and always has water in it. The dryer is ok but the rubber gasket comes out all the time.We spent over $10,000 on our appliances. Appliances that are supposed to be “high end” but quite frankly, this company not only makes junk, they could care less about customer satisfaction or service. Being a business owner myself, I find this deplorable. I will never buy from Electrolux again and not even 3 years in to owning our appliances, we will be replacing both the dishwasher and the microwave as neither function to get their respective jobs done. Very disappointed. Save your money and buy another brand!

We bought our French Door Bottom Freezer Refrigerator in October 2009 as a result of upgrading and remodeling our kitchen. The installation did not occur until April/May 2010 and we had problems with a leaky ice maker, intermittent making of ice, noisy clicking doors, and notification of expired air filters after 3 months of use. We called one week after the 1 year of purchase anniversary date and they told us our warranty had expired. We called customer service in 2012 and 2014 to express our dissatisfaction with all the problems that continued. They had a log of all our calls and still did nothing to make the refrigerator function correctly. After spending $3,600.00 for a high end refrigerator and have a lemon at that, Electrolux took no ownership for their problems. In January of 2015, the ice maker stop functioning all together. The service tech advised us this past week, there have been over 9 updates of the model we bought and there have been numerous faulty issues from Electrolux. It seems that this is a common problem and there are many consumers with the same complaint with this appliance. Why cant we all pursue a Class Action Suit? There are some of us that remained quiet and didnt scream loud enough and now we have the consequence of a lousy functioning refrigerator. By the way, the display on the temperature started to disappear in 2014. The technician states I need to spend $1,000.00 to purchase 2 kits to bring my refrigerator up to par (and since DAY 1 it has never worked correctly). Also, there is no guarantee after 90 days something else will break. This was the worst purchase of an appliance we ever made. Today the customer service corporate manager failed to help us make this situation go away and failed to assist the consumer to feel right about a costly purchase that never worked. There needs to be a better way to alert the public about Electrolux quality. There are too many of us as unsatisfied consumers with the same flawed design refrigerator complaining about Electrolux not taking action on their substandard appliances and for NOT doing the right thing.

I purchased a top of the line French Door refrigerator 7 years ago and have had a number of issues. Bad seals, broken parts, ice maker freezing up and now I am told the fridge will fail soon due to the internal thermal parts. Apparently I have a model that had a KNOWN PROBLEM on these models and similar Frigidaire models from 2011 to 2017!!!! Yes ELECTROLUX KNEW, BUT DID THEY DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT, seems to be a NO. They supposedly did some sort of recall but NOTHING I EVER RECEIVED. It is NOT COVERED ON YOUR HOME INSURANCE WARRANTY, in fact they tell you to CALL ELECTROLUX. So I did and I was on HOLD for 65 minutes, no mention of any sort of call back which many companies now do. I Guess ELECTROLUX WANTS TO MAXIMISE PROFITS!!!!The lady I spoke to KNEW about this issue (Just as the TECHNICIAN that came out KNEW about this issue). She ended up giving me the number for the CORPORATE OFFICE to speak to a SHELBY so I called. Guess what? Its just a number for Electrolux, no Shelby. This is a $2400 refrigerator, it is a piece of junk and Electrolux seems to be worthless. I have one of their freezers too and guess what? It has had PROBLEMS, so ELECTROLUX YOU APPEAR TO SELL CHEAP PRODUCTS AND DONT STAND BY YOUR PRODUCTS.

I bought the washer in January. Then one day in June, the washer stopped spinning. After researching online that evening, I checked the code which said defective door lock sensor. The repair man came three days later and confirmed that it was a defective door sensor. Problem is he didnt have the part. Twenty days later, the part arrives and the repair man replaces it and proclaims the belt also was off, that some factory lock nut had come off. He said in his twenty years doing this hed never seen such a thing. He put Lock Tight on the nut and tightened it. It lasted less than one load the next day. The repair man returned and said he had to replace the drum, motor mount, pulley, pulley mount, drive shaft, bearings, belt and that it would require another visit (full day) because he had to order the parts. I asked how long and he couldnt guess. Now Ive been without a washer for close to 30 days and it will be longer. It costs me $5 per load at the Laundromat - thats approx. $150 since it broke. Ive had to stay home from work waiting on the repair man a total of three times and now will be a fourth. I dont go to work. I dont get paid. I called Electrolux Customer Service (thats a joke) today and asked why they just dont replace it. Their new product warranty is a repair warranty only - way to stand behind your product. My modest calculations are this washer cost me a total of $1,700 so far; I bought it for $650. If I were a consumer in need of an appliance, I would not buy Electrolux. If I had done my homework, I wouldnt have bought this product for $250. At least my life is consistent. I owned a Fiat when I was younger and it was a piece of junk and now I have another Italian piece of junk.

Electrolux is not living up to the no lemon clause of their service contract which states that if the same part on an appliance is replaced three times the customer is entitled to a cash settlement or another comparable appliance. This contract is not followed by Electrolux for my washer because they do not maintain the records. I have an email from them which states this. Furthermore, the local service companies they use also have no accurate records. They reuse the same service tickets and do not record the part numbers so it is impossible for the customer to make a claim. I have proof of this as well. My transmission was replaced at least four times. They lie about fixing the machine which is still broken. According to them the washer moving away from the wall and damaging components is normal and operating according to factory specifications. Is this case a candidate for a class action law suit or other action?

This is the first time I have ever written on of these reviews, but I just had to because I can honestly say that dealing with Electrolux has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had. And Im still dealing with them. Some background. About 15 months ago I bought a fridge and freezer set from them. They are fairly high end, stainless steel all fridge and all freezer set. Model numbers are # E32AR85PQS and # E32AF85PQS.I am amazed at the number of issues we have had with this fridge in such a short time. The handle is permanently loose, the seal is subpar, but those two issues are minor. After we had owned it for about six months, it started leaking water. We would wake up in the morning and there would be a pool of water in front of the fridge. I called the store where I bought the appliances, and they directed me to call Electrolux. After about a half dozen calls and no real concrete answers they finally gave me the name of two Authorized service providers in my area and told me to call them. I did - 1 was out of service and one wasnt taking appointments for a couple of weeks. We waited the couple of weeks while the leaking continued to ruin our hardwood floor. When the repairman showed up, he called Electrolux and they told him this was an issue they were aware of and they sent him a part to fix it. So this was an issue they were aware of, but they didnt bother to reach out to people that bought the fridge. No compensation for my ruined floor was offered.Jump ahead to about 3 weeks ago and our fridge is no longer cooling. The coldest it is getting is about 15 degrees Celsius (but it is usually warmer). I call Electrolux again and the first agent I spoke to says that I have to deal with it myself as it is past the 1 year warranty period. She asks if there is anything else she can help with and hangs up. Then I call back and get a different agent and I explain all of the issues I have previously had and she offers a part authorization, which means I have to pay for the servicing but not the parts.I do a little more digging into my receipts and manual and see that there is a 5 year warranty on the cooling system (which is obviously where the problem is). I call them back and ask for a supervisor and explain this and then she says yes, they will cover the service cost and parts. I am not particularly happy that I was the one that had to bring this up. Had I not, I would have been on the hook for a new fridge. So, she gives me two services providers to try calling to set up an appointment. The first is the one Id told them last time was out of business and the second one doesnt have an appointment until September (It is August 12th at this time). And this is only to come look at the fridge. I figure by the time it gets replaced or fixed I will have been without a working fridge for at least a month and a half in the summer (I have young kids, lots of milk and yogurt going bad). While this is all going on, I have someone else look at the fridge. He is an appliance repairman but not one of their authorized dealers. He tells me what he thinks is going on (compressor issue or worse) and I relay that to Electrolux. They actually call him to confirm this, but then tell me that his opinion does not matter as he is not an Authorized servicer. There are other repair companies that are nearby that would be able to come take a look at the fridge in the next few days, but Electrolux wont allow this because they arent Authorized. There are other Authorized repair companies that are further away that could come in the next few days, but Electrolux wont allow this. The would rather have us be without a fridge for at least a month. With all of the issues we have had with the fridge, I would assume they would try to be accommodating, but they are not, even in the slightest. So now I wait for 3 weeks for someone to even come take a look. Poor product, worse customer service. I would never purchase another Electrolux appliance and I would suggest others stay away.

We purchased an above the stove Electrolux microwave/convection oven several years ago with the understanding that this was a good solid quality brand. We did not get an extended warranty. Almost immediately after the original warranty ended, it stopped heating. It was too costly to repair - we spent a couple hundred dollars on it and ended up just getting a new one. Same model but with the extended warranty. Glad we did, but after 4 service calls and it still doesnt turn on consistently, I will NEVER PURCHASE AN ELECTROLUX APPLIANCE AGAIN. BEWARE OF THIS BRAND. Im sick and tired of taking time off work for a service call and then within a couple of weeks it stops working again.

I purchased the Electrolux EBP163 refrigerator but it sounds on auto-cutoff. The problem was there from the first day itself. When I complained to the customer care they somehow replaced it with a new one but again the replaced unit is having the same problem. Now no one is listening to the complaint and the customer care people keeps cancelling the complaint given. Purchased an Electrolux refrigerator in June of 2011. I did not bother with an extended warranty. From my past experiences with refrigerators, I figured that I should at least get about 7 or 8 years of use at the minimum.Three months later, while opening the refrigerator, the handle came off in my hand. It actually broke where it connected to the screws on the door. At the time, I had other issues that were deemed more important, so I did not bother with having it repaired. The following summer, I noticed that on very hot or humid days, the refrigerator did not get as cold as it normally functioned. That would last for several days and then miraculously it would return to the normal set temperature. This continued to occur this summer also. From day one, I always said that the refrigerator was loud. Everyday, especially at night when things are quieter, I hear an intermittent popping sound. It is 1:00 AM in the morning, and I just read several reviews on this site. When I woke up yesterday morning, the refrigerator, as well as, my food, were warm. I thought, how in the world can a 2-year-old refrigerator stop working. Granted, that I only paid around 500 plus dollars, I felt I was buying a reliable product since it was a sub-brand of Frigidaire which was the name of my washer/dryer set that I had for 13 years without any problems. At this very moment, the refrigerator is making a very loud humming sound. Earlier I had to transfer food to my deep freezer. I am not happy. I decided to find out if there were any complaints on this product (hindsight) to determine what my next step would be. Well, I have decided to purchase another refrigerator (a well known name brand) and not even bother with a repair service due to the numerous complaints I have read. I refuse to take out the time to experience repeated repairs! Sales representatives will say anything to get you to buy a product. If I have learned anything, it is to research before hand when purchasing sub-brand appliances, regardless of the manufacturer. I will not own another ELECTROLUX product EVER!

We purchased the oven from Lowes in 2012. It did not work from the start. Lowes refused to cover it and so did Electrolux claiming it was a 2008 model so not covered. After a hassle, they replaced the circuit board under an extended warranty plan. It then turned on but the temperature is totally random. It shuts off and on at will. According to the service people if the repairman says it cant be fixed we will get our money refunded. They seem confused about why no one will repair it. Based on our dealings so far and a little inside info about our local Lowes, I suspect it was already returned as not repairable and Lowes sold it to us anyway as a floor model. Do floor models usually not work? It is the worst appliance of any brand or any type that I have ever owned in forty years of buying appliances. Even if it did work, it is not user friendly or intuitive. You have to touch about six different buttons in the correct order just to bake at 350. My first scratch and dent with two knobs worked better. We bought it because it was supposed to replace all those appliances sitting on the counter, slow cooker, bread machine, etc. but it wont even just bake a freaking pot pie. I am grouchy because I have been trying for two hours and my blood sugar is really low.

Continuing the drama from April 2015. After talking to a channel of people with this company, writing several letters and sending endless photos to the higher ups in this company, I will end my fight with them. I have to continue monthly blow-drying the interior door of the freezer to on freeze the water line and the back of my refrigerator continues to rust because of water leakage in the back inner panels of the body in this unit. I believe that it was defective from day 1 but the drawers are the most flimsy I have ever seen and are completely broken. Stick with GE and Whirlpool. Signing off.

My husband and I own a small business. Our employee scratched our customers brand new stainless steel refrigerator door. I called to order a replacement door panel. Upon receiving the part we installed it and noticed it had a light colored stripe running down the middle of the door that looks different than the rest of the refrigerator. I called customer service back right away. I sent them a picture and they tried to tell me it was like a piece of wood. That no two pieces of wood are alike. Really? How is a piece of wood and a piece of stainless steel the same? This door panel was less than quality and no one would purchase a refrigerator like that in the store. They tried to downplay and undermine the situation, making me feel like I was being unreasonable. All I wanted was to make my customer happy and her to have her refrigerator looking new again. I finally got them to agree to refund the door but they wouldnt send a new panel without receiving the other part back, so I agreed to pay for another one to be shipped. That way our customer wasnt without a fridge door in the meantime. I was told they would contact us in a few days to pick up the defective door. I also asked them to call me directly to handle the return. Instead, they called our customer the very next day and scheduled the pick up for Monday. We hadnt received the second door panel yet so I told them we werent ready to swap them out yet. They proceeded to tell me it was too late to stop the request since they had already sent it through but that UPS would leave us a shipping label. Yesterday was Monday and no shipping label. Today I called them again and they informed me to call UPS. UPS is not even aware of any labels and advised me to contact them again. I have now been told that I will have to pay the shipping plus a restocking fee for a piece of ugly metal that is below what the standard should be for a door on a refrigerator that cost close to $3K. Every single person I have spoken to has given me a different answer. The manager I spoke to tonight was rude and insensitive. They do not care about making the customer happy. They will just take your money and blow you off. It is looking like I may be out the money for the other door panel. I am afraid even if I pay the money to ship it back, they will just come up with another story as to why they cant refund me. Unbelievable! Stay far away from this company!!

I purchased a complete set of electrolux appliances just over 2 years ago. The main control panel on my stove burnt out 3 months after purchase. The ice maker on my refrigerator has been repaired 3 times and is now done for good. I have broken cheap plastic trim on my fridge doors and the handle on my microwave broke off last week. Their customer service department is HORRIBLE. Impossible to work with. After the last issue with our ice maker, the local repairman was instructed by electrolux to pull the fridge away from the wall and check to see if there was any frost on the back of the fridge. You should have seen it. Apparently the model I have, has an insulation problem, which is why the ice maker keeps freezing up and stopping. I was told they were going to replace my fridge with a brand new unit...different model of course. BUT...I was on the hook for the delivery and replacement fee...because I was out of warranty. After 5 phone calls arguing this point...they told me I would not get the fridge...unless I agreed to pay the fee. End of discussion. RIDICULOUS. They sell me a piece of crap and I still have to pay for it. Well...its been 2 months since they promised me a new fridge..and I was forced to agree to pay the $200 delivery fee.......and its still not here. I get weekly phone calls...telling me the same story....still not in stock...but they expect it any day. I will NEVER give Electrolux/Frigidaire another dime of my money. Their stuff is JUNK!!

When I moved into my home in 2015, I bought a suite of Electrolux appliances: french door refrigerator, dishwasher, range. The refrigerator is so poorly designed that I had it serviced 5 times in the first year for faulty icemaker in the main part of the refrigerator. Every time you opened the door, it warmed up and the ice thawed a bit and froze solid. 5 years later, the compressor died, and I have a pile of junk. The range oven doesnt heat properly, the dishwasher stinks inside, all the appliances came with heatshrunk plastic on all the surfaces that stripped the finish off when you removed it, the doors of each appliances had dents. I am disgusted with the lot, and have no recourse but to continue using them until I can afford to replace them. I am so sorry I wasted my money and my confidence in what I thought was a good brand. Dont be fooled by a pretty face!

Subject: Your Kitchen and Laundry Equipment in Hotel Dar Al Ghufran Makkah. This is to bring to your kind attention that Dar Al Ghufran Hotel Makkah, is one of the 5 stars hotel in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. We have purchased the entire kitchen and Laundry equipment, required for one 5 star hotel use, from Electrolux, through your dealer in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Chbib Trading Co Ltd. The purchase amount was over five million riyals. Now the equipment are over a year in use and we have few machines, i.e., dishwasher, flat ironer, meat bone saw, went out of order and Chbib was called in for check or repair. It is with regret to state that your dealer has no spare parts available with them what so ever, in order to get the machines repaired. They had to place order for the same and we have to wait until they receive these parts and the waiting period is more than a month. And that too when the equipment under warranty? Now the dishwasher is o. Again and we dont know how long your designated agent will take to bring in the spare parts when the warranty period is already over. (One year).Again dish washing machine still is out of order from 20th December till now, only due to spare parts (Frequency Inverter part # OL2601- Model # WTM 140 ERB). After long time, your dealer received the parts and now last four days they are trying to fix, but they are facing some complications with new part installation / parameter, and dish washing machine still is out of service, and I requested to Chbib provide us alternative solution to run the operation. And we buy new meat bone saw of different brand because when saw was out of order (only motor was burnt out) and your dealer was taking long time to repair it, more than two month. What is the solution to get the fast service from your dealer and we want to direct dealing to your company to get the spare parts with in minimum period. Would you imagine this how we will run the operation? This time we feel so sorry for Electrolux Company that we purchased equipment from this company, never the less; we sure will have to think twice before buying any equipment from your company (Electrolux Brand) for our any future properties coming up, or even to recommend your brand to any future Hoteliers. We eagerly wait for your response, if this is the kind of service, after sales, your company and brand provide to your customers.Once again we express our regret to have been associated with your brand.

I have Electrolux 5 burner stovetop for my home. Last year (2021) 2 of the knobs were not working so I called them and ordered 2 knobs each 35 dollars. This year (2022) again one more know started not working and when I called them they says each one is 72 dollars. That is ridiculous and too expensive. For sure the knobs will be damaging every year for Electrolux stovetop and you need to buy every year. Very poor quality design and expensive.I have issue with Electrolux microwave too. Worst design I have ever seen. The handle screw got loose and dropped into the door and there is no option to fix the screen. When I called them, they said I need to order entire door for 600 dollars. What a design. They design their products to rob the customers for years. DONT buy any Electrolux product. Just stay away from it. Not worth buying. Very poor quality design. I got frustrated with their products at my home.

Over 3 years ago, we replaced our kitchen with all new Electrolux appliances. Since then the bottom freezer, French door refrigerator has had the ice maker replaced 3 times and repaired many more. For the first 6 months we owned it, the ice maker did not work. Electrolux kept sending incomplete/incorrect parts to the repairman and they still would not give us a new refrigerator. After the warranty expired, we purchased the extended warranty for $350+ per year, for two years, then we stopped. The ice maker has broken again; we spent $450 for a repair this week and it still doesnt work and now they want another $250 for another part.We are beyond angry; we are exhausted by this refrigerator, process, company. We have decided No More! and for now will make ice in trays while I go out to every store in town and begin researching the products, companies and service records to buy a new refrigerator. It is a very sad day in America when American companies treat their citizens this way and we will absolutely never purchase another Electrolux or Frigidaire product. They should be zapped with a fine, like automakers, etc.

I have a brand new home with brand new appliances. Since we purchased the home in January the dishwasher has never worked correctly. We have had repair persons out to repair it 4-5 times. Every time they leave it is worse than when they started. Last Monday June 15th a repair person came out, the dishwasher does not work at all now! He told me he would put in a request for replacement, he did not.. So after receiving no contact regarding the dishwasher I called on Thursday June 18th, the lady that day told me she put in a request for replacement and someone would call me with 24 hours. After receiving no phone call as of Tuesday June 23rd I called back. That lady told me that I was told incorrectly and it could 48-72 hours. So after receiving no phone call as of Wednesday June 24th I called again. No supervisor was available but the lady I spoke to said she escalated the request and someone would call me within 24 hours. After again receiving no phone call as of today June 25th I called again. This time the lady said I was again mistold. I was now told it would be 3 business days, not 24 hrs.As you can see I can not understand why no one will call me back and my dishwasher has not been replaced/repaired. We were going on 12 days without a dishwasher. While I understand this isnt a 911 emergency I have four kids and a life. Being that my house is brand new and the appliances were an upgrade Im a lot pissed off!

We purchased a side by side Electrolux fridge around 6 years ago. In less than a year the front display conked out which we reported to the dealership where we bought the unit, however Electrolux does not have the parts on hand. After repeated demands and expiration of the warranty no parts were delivered. Just last year almost 5 years after purchase, after a dismal customer service experience, the referred sub-contractor advised us that the motherboard gave in and lo and behold they even advised us to replace the front display, of course for a considerable fee. After repair and less than a year our fridge gave out again, less than a year mind you. Now the customer service personnel are as bad as usual, sending us unexperienced repairmen. After waiting for a month for the results of the test we were informed that the unit is beyond repair since there was a leak in the cooling lining. Is this how poor Electrolux products are? That your products can stand the test of time... Never will I buy nor recommend, and I would in fact discourage other consumers in buying your very, very, very poor products.

I wish I would have found this website before purchasing the refrigerator 4 years ago. I will never buy another Electrolux product again. The ice maker has never fully worked since we got the refrigerator. Contacted Electrolux when it was still under warranty. The service company came out. Said it was the control board and that they would replace it. Never heard from them again and got busy. Finally the ice maker stopped working altogether about a year ago. I think the biggest problem with these appliances is that they are not made in the USA. This refrigerator was made in Mexico -- you get what you pay for -- low wages, low quality. When are we going to learn? Cheap labor is never better. As with Electrolux they have lost and will lose a lot of business due to these problems. Did they really save a lot of money seeking out a lower labor cost country? I will make sure my next appliance is made in the USA.

Electrolux won’t help us at all. Electrolux is a terrible company when it comes to customer service and Electrolux does not stand by their product. Two stars is too high but Im past angry, just very dissatisfied with my Electrolux appliances. Ive had major problems with my dishwasher. Within several months and after numerous replacements of the control panel, I was already on my third dishwasher. Its working now but it does a questionable job of cleaning. Some of the dishes come out dirtier than they went it. My inexpensive GE did a better job and in ten years I never had a repair issue. The dishwasher now just sits there looking pretty as Im no longer using it. I love my induction range... when it works. At 23 months not one, but two control panels went out. Electolux agreed to cover parts which Im told would have been a couple thousand. I paid a few hundred for the service technician. Repairs took approximately six weeks. Before and after the replacement I find myself making frequent visits to the electric control box to flip the switch and wait while the range reboots. This is extra irritating when I think food prep is almost done only to find the range top or oven is not working. Between the dishwasher and range I estimate Ive had 18 service calls. Each one of them forcing me to take anywhere from two to four hours of uncompensated time away from work. Ive not had any major problems with the refrigerator except that its poorly designed. When you close the freezer drawer, ice slides over the back of the container preventing the drawer from closing. We keep a yardstick nearby to slide the ice out as the opening is too tight to reach our arms in. Guests have needlessly apologized for closing the drawer too hard. Please! The filters need frequent replacement and are expensive. Our salesperson made no mention of this foreseeable cost. And the darn alarm doesnt work when the drawer is open (because of ice thats slid where its not suppose to) and the ice cream is melting; but it goes off in the middle of the night, screaming for me to come turn it off, when all that happened is the electricity went out for a few seconds. The range hood works okay but its noticeably louder now than when we first installed it. Through all of this Electrolux has been more concerned with the performance of the contracted technicians than with the performance of their appliances. Im at an age where lots of friends are doing kitchen remodels. I tell them all, dont buy Electrolux. Spend your $7K+ elsewhere; And they are.

2 years ago we received an Electrolux french door refrigerator as a replacement for the same refrigerator that lasted one year. The ice maker stopped working at 1.5 years and now it wont stay cold. The master repair technician concluded the whole thing is beyond repair. We have now been without a refrigerator for almost 3 weeks as Electrolux tries to determine how and when to replace it. Very dissatisfied with the durability of this $3500 product and the customer service is slow and unresponsive. They keep assuring me that it is moving forward and seem satisfied with their response. I would not recommend spending any money with this company.

I purchased a Electrolux refrigerator on 2/10/2013. After I purchased the refrigerator the ice maker didnt work. The repair man came out to my house and said the water line was frozen and that this was a known issue. He place a part in the refrigerator that would stop the line from freezing. Now, for the last month my ice maker hasnt worked. I had a repair man from ASI appliance repair company come out. He said that the ice tray had a crack in it and that a piece broke off that this was the cause of the ice maker not working. I gave it 24hrs. to produce ice, nothing happen. The repair came back out and said that I need a back panel deterioration Kit and that it will extend my refrigerator out two inches. Also, that the manufacturing is aware of this problem. So, in short Im very dissatisfied with this product. I paid a lot of money for what I thought I was getting a high end refrigerator. This unit is only 3 yrs old. I want to know what are you going to do. At this present time I will never purchase another Electrolux product and will inform social media and friends to do the same.

We would like to express our disappointment with the Electrolux refrigerator model: EW28BS71IS. We purchased this refrigerator in March of 2010 to replace a 7-year old Kenmore side by side refrigerator. We chose this model by brand name knowing that Electrolux is the leader in the industry in quality and service on appliances. Its unfortunate for us to tell you how far youve missed the mark with the model we purchased. Weve had the model serviced three times since weve bought it. The ice maker board has been replaced twice. My wife and I both missed four days of work due to the service calls so the repair person could come to service the fridge, one day for them to figure out what was wrong and another day for them to install it. Our last experience was the most painful. The main board went out and we had to live out of coolers and a dorm size refrigerator for over two weeks. It took three visits by the service repair man before the refrigerator was working again. They ordered the main board from their parts list which took four days. They came to install it and the board in the fridge is different than the one in the repair manual they had. This required them to order another board which took another four days. If we didnt have large Kenmore upright freezers, we wouldve lost all our frozen food.Whats amazing to this story is we arent the only ones dealing with these issues. We happen to be out at a party with some friends telling them our refrigerator saga and that my wife has put her foot down that if there is one more issue, the fridge is gone. They asked the model and when we bought it because they were having similar issues. Sure enough, they bought the same model around the same time. Ive included their story below. I cant believe we are the only two people having these problems and we want to know what you can do to resolve our ongoing issues.

We bought the Electrolux refrigerator ew23cs70153 and also an oven and washer and dryer from PC Richards. Almost $8000-$10000 in product in 2010. They are around 3 1/2 years only. Like many I thought the design was European and sleek perfect for a modern kitchen. Kelly Ripa and marketing they sure spent a lot in!!! We will never buy Electrolux again! We began to have problems right away. LED screen letters some out on oven, round iron plates around burners got rusty on the stainless steel top of oven so had to toss, inside rack you cannot take out to clean the oven, when you push clean oven it blinks and sounds with a message saying take racks out and you hit the lever in the back does release it. No way to get it out. The decals on the front showing which way to turn the dials came off, when it comes on and ignites it makes a boom sound and feels like the oven is going to blow up. We are always worried and jump.I called Electrolux customer service and they sent multiple parts to replace however sometimes had to send up to 10 times for me to finally get the correct part. Very frustrating, I scheduled a repair guy to change the screen and parts. However to date things still are breaking and it was 2-3000 dollars in price. Then on the washer and dryer, the plate inside the dryer in the back from high heat turned black and if I dry any light clothes, it sticks to it and also black gets on the clothes in high heat mode, so I can only use the medium and low heat setting only. Its almost like it is so efficient they didnt think of the parts inside holding up. What a mess. Also the front door in plastic hasnt held up nice and and has gotten cloudy so had to call Electrolux to receive new doors. The overall outside of the unit hasnt held up nice either and we bought in white. And the latest frustration is the refrigerator. When we first bought it the first month the LED screen had one of the letters that went out and when this happens you have to replace the entire screen. Also the regular refrigerator side kept freezing up. The outside easily dings especially the sides of the unit. Electrolux sent us a brand new refrigerator 6 months after we bought the original one. However it didnt stop there. During a storm the power went out and the motor blew so we had to have repair guy come out again to replace motor. We put a surge protector on after that. The latest and last straw is the water line keeps freezing up in the door so we have to keep shutting it off to defrost and then it freezes up again. I cant use the filter water at all!!!! Come to find out after reading reviews many are having this same problem. So I called Electrolux to see if they would send a new door or do anything. They said since it is out of the year and 2 year warranty they cant do anything and they can send a door out for 400 dollars. We just cant believe itI just cant believe they wont do anything when this is a known problem with their design. I asked to speak to anyone higher up and they said there is no one to speak to. We have hit a brick wall. My husband and I just cant believe they would lose a customer over this. I never blog or do reviews but these Electrolux products have been a living hell for how much they are worth! Quality and durability not worth the high price. And the hours I have spent on repairs and calling customer service has to be over 40-50 hours by now. Im 7 months pregnant and we have to buy bottled water because we can use the refrigerator water. So now we have the hose taken out of the unit to use the water, see attached pic.

We bought all new Electrolux appliances in Mar 2010. SIDE BY SIDE BOTTOM OUT Counter Depth SS Refrigerator w/ ICE & Water, Model #EI23BCS6I51. Shortly after installation, the ice maker stopped working. Service call in Nov 2010, replaced several parts on it, working again. Believe the ice maker was replaced. In June 2012, again the ice maker is not working. Aug 2012, ice maker not working AGAIN!! Jan 2013, again ice maker not working. May 2015, the ice maker stopped working. Again the auth tech repair comes, and tells us that there is nothing else they can do. They replaced every part they could and STILL NO ICE!!! We did purchase the extended warranty, but now the warranty is expired and the service company will not even answer our phone calls or come anymore. They know what the problem is, but cant get parts from Electrolux to fix it. They have other owners who have the same problems, and they cant fix their ice maker problems either. CONSUMER BEWARE!! I purchased an expensive fridge from Electrolux. The ice maker never worked
I purchased an expensive fridge from Electrolux. The ice maker never worked. The repair people came out countless times. Repair people told me the ice maker is unfixable. I paid for an extended warranty being told that I could get a replacement for my fridge if it broke down 3 times within the year. When the break downs continued, the repairman told me that they are not allowed to report the appliance irreparable & that they are obligated to continue to try to repair it even though that is not possible. Electrolux basically never has any intention of honoring a warranty with a new appliance. It is all a big scam to get you to pay more money & them not be on the hook for a bad product. Very disappointing from a supposed high end appliance company. The customer service there is a joke and will be so frustrating to deal with. You will want to throw your fridge out the window. They will lie to you point blank about multiple things. Too long of a list to name. FYI my fridge has been the subject of a class action because it has been proven this ice maker is bunk and does not work. But under the class action of course you get nothing -- like $100. Nothing compared to the aggravation or the cost of a new fridge.

We had our house built 6 years ago and I just had to have the Electrolux appliance. The only thing that in my opinion that has worked well is the dish machine. The oven, cooktop, and microwave not so much. For the price I was expecting as other consumers have stated a much better product. I did not get the warranties because them in themselves were expensive as well.Lets start with the microwave because it had the least problems and lasted the longest. Two years ago the door panel came partly loose. Only I had it fixed was because I had gotten the home warranty for all household appliances and it was covered under that warranty. Along with the other two appliances that I am going to talk about. Last year the spring broke so the door would not close. My husband tried to fix it and in the midst of doing that he broke the top piece. A friend came over and saw that the door was taped shut. He asked what was wrong with it; I told him and he fixed for me. The top piece could not be fixed because it was plastic. Thank goodness he didnt charge me. He said it was a minor fix. The top piece I just laid it back on top. You couldnt tell it was detached. Now this year the microwave stop working all together. I put something in it to warm up and it did not come on DEAD. I never cooked in it anyway but dead after 5 1/2 years.Next we are going to talk about the cooktop. I picked out the 36 in induction cooktop. It was working good. I was excited I had gotten it then after 6 months the burners seem to no be cooking as well. I had to cook the food on high if I was using more than one burner because it was not cooking well and taking forever to cook. Thank goodness not was burning. I thought something was wrong but I could not figure out what it was. Then one day when I was cooking for the holidays, midway through cooking the hold cooktop shut off. At that point I had to wait for the fans to cool the cooktop off. Once that happen I had to cook everything one at a time till I was finish cooking. Needless to say I was upset. That Monday I called the Electrolux and they called a service tech out because it was still just under their warranty . When he finally came out he told me that it was a good thing it had shut itself off because it could have set the house on fire. Like that is something a home owner wants to hear. He told me he had to order the part. It took three weeks for that part to come in. No problems after that until the fourth year and it did it again. By this time I had gotten the home warranty I spoke of earlier and thank goodness for that because we had problem after problem. This time one side of the cooktop could not work. The service people sent someone to fix it. Then two months later the other side when out. They sent the same person out again. Then the other side that had been fixed went out again so he had to come back. This was every two months for 8 months. Then finally he realized something was burning out the circuit boards and fix it. No more problems but on the induction side you cannot burn the 2 burners on the same temperature or you will get an error. Thats a small price to pay for not being able to use your appliance that you paid hard earn money for 8 months. Finally we get to the double oven. The first problem I had was the Led lights went out. That was still under factory warranty. This happen two months after we moved in. The next problem again like the cooktop, the oven sensor went out, this was 6 months after we moved in. They came and fixed that. I had no problems until again like the cooktop in the 4th year. I was cooking on normal bake and the oven seem like it wasnt getting hot. Then I started using the convection bake then it seem like it was doing the same thing. One day I was standing there looking at the stove wondering what to do, my daughter said Momma I told you the bottom oven works better than the top. At that point I turned both ovens on and the bottom oven heated up faster than the top. So for a while we used the bottom oven for cooking until it was doing the same thing as the top. The problem with the oven was happening at the same time with the cooktop but it had to be 2 different work orders. The oven took longer to get fixed than the cooktop because we had to wait longer until the part to come in. So I didnt have a oven for 11 months. Because you could not use 1 oven without the other because they were on the same circuit board. Since then we can use both ovens but the bottom oven is still hotter than the top and it still heats up quicker.

No time limit on how long the repair can take. No extension of the warranty for the repaired unit. Will not even replaced the already hacked up unit unless it fails two more times. I wish they had categories for customer service and quality in this review form. They would both be 0 stars. I am seeking other customer of this product to form a class to take action against Electrolux.

Have an Electrolux bottom mount fridge which is 2 years old. Top handle fell off after 6 months and they replaced both doors. Just held on with cheap plastic. It has just fallen off again and my husband has glued it on. This is not good enough. Never had this problem with any other fridges. One is 35 years old. Do not buy. We paid way more that we could bought comparable fridges for. Service agents fixed the first time. We just couldnt be bothered with rigmarole. Have 3 years extended warranty. Just dont buy.

I telephoned Electrolux customer services... and waited... and waited... and waited. After over 10 minutes I decided too many people must be complaining about their dreadful service so I gave up, hung up and phoned my supplier to cancel. I have now ordered a fridge freezer from an alternative supplier... Electrolux? Never again!!

I purchased all 4 appliances: the refrigerator, the stove, the dishwasher and the microwave. Ive had issues with all of them. I am not exaggerating when I say I had 22 repairmen come out to fix my refrigerator, including their own engineer who flew out and spent 8 hours and even he couldnt fix the problem. Very sad! There was issues with the ice machine and sliders which left the freezer door open for I dont no how long and the light comes on when it wants to. The stove has stopped working, so of course we had to eat out on Thanksgiving and Christmas and its still not fixed. The frame around the top was bent when delivered so the whole thing had to be replaced and there were some missing screws. My dishwasher has never properly cleaned the dishes; Ive given up on having clean dishes altogether. What Im saying is if you are on the fence about purchasing Electrolux appliances, take a walk in my shoes. Its been a nightmare since I purchased my Electrolux. I dont mean to bad mouth a company but having my appliances for the short time that I have has only caused me stress and frustration. I saw some of the complaints before I made my discussion and thought that some of the people had nothing better to do but complain, but now I believe all the people that have had issues because Im living it. I’m stuck with a very bad product. I will have to live with it until the warranty run out then they will go on Craigslist. Dont walk away from deciding if you want to purchase an Electrolux product: run away.

In April of 2015 we purchased a new home from a builder. The builder had Electrolux appliances installed so we went with what they had not knowing what a nightmare that would be! The first visit from a repair company happened within 60 days of being in our home. They ended up removing the refrigerator and giving us a new one because the fridge had a bent frame! The second refrigerator is still in our home and I have had to call and have 2 more service calls. Now, we are dealing with an ice maker that isnt working properly so we have ice building up on the back wall of our refrigerator which pushes the drawers out of their slides. We are now waiting for parts that are on backorder so our repair can be done. No worries, I can keep chipping ice off of the back of my brand new fridge! When you call Electrolux for a repair you end up speaking to people who never give you the same information about how or when the service appointment will happen. Their customer service is a mess and the real joke is that they ask you when you are finished setting up another appointment if you would like to take a survey to tell them how they are doing! Ha! Electrolux products, service and service providers stink and as a company they should be ashamed of themselves for making such crap products and charging so much for them! Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for appliances. I mean really, how many days do you want to sit home from 8am-1pm or 1pm to 5pm waiting for repair work to be done? Lifes too short for that!

It was absolutely horrible. I will never buy another Electrolux product and I will never recommend or suggest them to a client to buy their product. I purchased a French door Electrolux fridge at the hefty price of $3,700. The ice maker never worked and after numerous visits and parts ordering over the next 2 months, it was discovered that the inside was dented to the point that the electronic parts that had failed could not be replaced. The appliance company replaced it with a new Electrolux. Four months later, the ice maker stopped producing ice and water started leaking onto the floor from the water dispenser. Two months later, after 4 visits by the appliance company service department, a gasket left of the fridge seemed to be the culprit.I ordered that rubber gasket and 3 weeks later, it showed up. The appliance company came out to replace it but its the wrong gasket. That was 4 weeks ago. I just got a call from them and the correct replacement gasket will be delivered within 5 days. Now, we are going on more than 4 weeks to get that rubber gasket and who knows if its the right one. Thats almost 2 months total waiting for the correct gasket! Im stunned that Electrolux is still in business with this kind of incompetency and bad manufacturing practices.

DON’T EVER BUY ELECTROLUX APPLIANCES! September 2015 is when we purchased a new Electrolux dishwasher to replace our very old dishwasher probably over 30 years old. Never had a problem with the old dishwasher. It served its purpose but could not run anymore. We were excited to buy a new dishwasher hoping that it would sanitize and clean dishes better. Since we got the new Electrolux dishwasher in September 2015, it has broken down 6 times. Also does not clean well and I rinse everything before I place in dishwasher. It’s only 2.5 years old. Called Electrolux over 20 times getting it repaired and begging them to replace the dishwasher because we were sold a lemon. Every time they denied replacing it. There are a few inconsiderate rude Electrolux agents that I talked to and lied to me. I have been lied to many times by Electrolux agents and they keep their stories straight. I record everything; calls, notes, confirmation numbers. Horrible customer service!

Our LG top of the line troublesome fridge of 5 years died leaking water on
Our LG top of the line troublesome fridge of 5 years died leaking water on our wood floor. LG does not stand for Lucky Goldstar or Lifes Good; in my dictionary it stands for Lousy Garbage! Enough about that. We were now in a lurch for a new fridge without having the time to thoroughly research our purchase. Instead of going to a chain store that sells appliances (have you ever attempted to contact a salesman at Sears? Its a joke!) we decided this time to go with an independent appliance store. Initially we may have paid a little more, but what we received in service was priceless! Since we were less than a week away from Thanksgiving the owner bent over backward to deliver within a couple of days and the installation was professional, clean and non-damaging to any of our belongings. We went with an Electrolux counter depth model with the freezer on the bottom. We were impressed with the features and based upon that my husband wanted the deluxe model which had a special drawer for ice cream so that it is not rock hard when you try to spoon it our of the container. After it arrived I looked at ratings for this model and they were horrific. I felt my heart sink to the bottom of my feet, especially after the amount of money we spent. I didnt tell my husband right away for obvious reasons and decided to let time pass to see what transpired.Three months have passed without a single issue. It is a pleasure to have in our kitchen. The produce doesnt freeze, we have loads of room inside because of the design and we have loads of ice, a problem with counter depth french door fridges and one common complaint about the Electrolux. The ice dispenser on the door is great-small cubes just the right size for a glass or crushed if desired. The cubes actually come out when the lever is depressed (non existent with the LG) and water doesnt drip after dispensing water. The ice maker in the freezer is ingenious! Now I dont have to listen to the ribbing from my daughters about the stingy ice maker. All in all, I think that we made a wise purchase, and well worth the money.

I purchased a Frigidaire freezer in 2007 and, three years later, I purchased an Electrolux Extended Warranty (service contract). During the life of the Extended Warranty I called for service because my freezer was not getting as cold as it should and it was accumulating a lot of frost (not a frost free model). Electrolux sent out a, so-called, service technician who looked at it and told me that there was too much food in it and freezers should not be loaded over 50% of their capacity. I found other accommodations for the excess food, ensuring that the freezer was not loaded more than 50% but this did not fix the problem. I called for service again and Electrolux sent out a, so-called, service technician from the same company who had a different story this time, telling me that the drawers at the bottom of the freezer were not going all of the way back, impeding the sealing of the door.I couldnt see that the drawers were impeding the closing and sealing of the door but I defrosted the freezer anyway and discovered that the door seal was still not sealing and I could feel the cold air escaping from the bottom door seal when the door was closed. I called for service again and requested another appliance repair company to do the inspection/repairs because all I was getting from the company that they were sending was a lot of busy work for me which was not fixing the problem. They did send another inspector who took several pictures of the door and bottom seal and left with the comment that the door was misaligned.Several days later I received a call from Electrolux stating that their findings were that the misalignment was the result of consumer abuse of the door and they would not repair the door. I informed them that was absurd and an examination of the pictures that the technician took would show that the door was not damaged and there was no consumer abuse. They informed me that there were NO pictures accompanying the report and Electrolux was standing by their decision NOT to cover the repair of the door. How very convenient that the pictures that were taken which would make my case and refute their claim had just vanished into thin air!?!? I have filed a complaint with the BBB but Electrolux is sticking by their decision NOT to perform on its contractual obligations and they are doing it through deceit. I have also filed a complaint with the California Department of Consumer Affairs and the results of that one are pending. BUYER BEWARE when dealing with Electrolux Extended Service Warranties! Refrigerator Model # EI23CS55GSI Side by Side w/ indoor ice and water manufactured June 2008, installed in 2009, malfunctioning since 2012! Absolutely the WORSE appliance purchase ever. Electronic control panel went out once while in warranty, replaced, 14 months later breaks again, now it doesnt even work, all I get is a readout of C for the freezer and CE for refrigerator. Still makes ice, but no water dispensing, lights work rarely, no way to manually regulate temperatures, all the drawer slider mechanisms - which were made out of very cheap plastic parts have come undone, or just broke. Called an appliance repair company and cost of new control panel is nearly $1000.00 --- absolutely ridiculous!!! This thing has had issues since first installed. Microwave works but LED readout/clock/light do not work at all. All control panel buttons on dishwasher have faded and are coming loose, and this is all in a condo I use about 3 times per week only and I am just one person. So far, (knock on wood) the gas range has worked properly. Electrolux has horrible customer service, factory authorized techs hate these products and readily admit they would never purchase them for their families, nor recommend them. Have all Electrolux kitchen appliances ($10,000) which are a little more than 4 years old. Except for the microwave, the double oven, refrigerator, dishwasher & top gas burner have had numerous problems. Lucky I have a 5 year extended service contact which will soon come to and end. Basically the appliance are made like junk... The refrigerator was replaced be the manufacturer after two days since there was moisture all over the interior of the unit. The replacement refrigerator wasnt any better. They then corked up the air ports in the refrig/freezer wall to limited the airflow which is a ridiculous fix since this restricts the circulation which a major feature of the unit. The freezer cheap plastic draws are broke (no longer slide & not under warranty). The freezer froze up and had to be taken apart to get the ice off the back coils. The water dispenser had to be replaced 4 times to get one that would stop dripping. The water & ice dispensers are poorly designed. During power outage, the freezer starts defrosting in about 4 hours resulting in a flood on the floor from the ice cube tray. Door has no restraint, when opening, to stop it from hitting the Electrolux stove handles which is next to the frig resulting in denting the stainless steel refrig door. As for the stove, the heating elements (flaw in its design) in both the top and bottom have been replaced 3 times. Expect this failure will be repeated again& again. Without the warranty, this would be a huge expense. The stove was out of commission for least 3 weeks each time. The dish washer, first day of operation (bottom shelf loaded with dishes) came out of the washer and rolled across the kitchen floor. It took the repair service several tries to jury rig a fix to solve this from happening. The dishes never get dried since there is no heat cycle and you have to manually wipe down the inside of the machine to prevent the mill due smell that will occur. The wash cycle is over an hour which is ridiculous. The machine occasionally starts by it self. Most of the internal working parts are cheap plastic.Waiting for the microwave to fail. To date, the repair service has been to my house over 12 times... Our 20 year old appliances, refrig & dishwasher, never had a problem. In fact, we have the old Whirlpool refrig in the garage. This is where we now keep all the meats and ice cream... In conclusion, there should be a class action suit against Electrolux.

We have owned this Electrolux Wave Touch (electric) for now two years and experienced nothing but problems with the electronics. Every time we use self clean, something else fails. I expect a $2,500 range to be more than sufficient in reliability. After all, what good is a great range when on Thanksgiving day you have to explain to sixteen guest why you cant finish a holiday meal as the range top does not work after the bird is done? Heck, two service calls later and we are now canceling our Christmas celebration as it still is not corrected.Just say NO to the Wave Touch and I suspect the engineered quality is no better on the lesser models. FYI - calling Electrolux on a two year old unit, as suspected they could care less. I called Electrolux to advise and they stated they again would contact the service tech. I received a call from the service tech stating they do not service Electrolux contracts, and they have no idea why Electrolux would contact them as they only service Frigidaire contracts. I called Electrolux and advised of my conversation with the service tech. An Electrolux mgr. stated he would elevate my service request and I should hear from someone in 2-3 days. I asked, then how many days before I would be able to get service. He basically gave me the impression I should be glad that he elevated my request. I gave it some thought, looked in my yellow pages and noted tons of refrigerator repairmen. Called Electrolux back and asked if I should find someone to service my refrigerator would they reimburse? They said I would need to pay the service tech, submit the bill to Electrolux and they would determine if they would reimburse, because the repairmen in the area were not designated Frigidaire repairmen. So, here I sit, just thinking what an absolute nightmare and waste of time and money dealing with what appears to be a worthless Electrolux warranty.

We have already spent at least 20 hours following every Electrolux procedure to the letter, regardless of how inane the reasoning only to finally be denied a solution. It is the same story about the defective ice makers they designed and installed in thousands of refrigerators a few years back. Bottom line - We would pay for parts but since the ice maker cant be fixed there is nothing we can do for you. Yes we bought $6000 worth of Electrolux products when remodeled our kitchen and they made a defective product but its on us. Thank you very much. They said they dont care about negative Internet reviews because only unhappy people post - not happy ones. Brilliant! So, we vote with our wallet and words. Never buy an Electrolux or any brand by that company and tell as many people as possible. It has run OK, but you cant turn the defrost off, and it seems to run a lot. The handles are our biggest problem. We had to remove the bottom door handle because we hit our heads on it a lot-- opening from the left. It seems to be in just exactly the wrong place. Then, when youre rummaging in the main frig cabinet and straighten back up, POW you hit your head on the freezer handle, very painful and the handles have sharp edges, too. I have thought about removing their awful handles and making my own which curve up, from the bottom of the freezer door. They are not reversible. Emails to Electrolux customer service have gone without response.

We purchased all new Electrolux appliances for our kitchen 2 1/2 years ago. Every appliance has been repaired since purchase, one replaced and two appliances are now on their 3rd or 4th repair (these are major repairs not minor). Electrolux has been making exceptions and paying for the repairs after hours spent documenting repeated problems and pleading with them to make good on their faulty products. Our range was rebuilt last week and tonight our dishwasher broke again, same computer panel as the last 3 times.I called Electrolux again, asked for assistance and they said Id have to call back tomorrow and speak with a supervisor, when I asked if a supervisor could please call me after they review our file they hung up on me... I couldnt believe it. I went on their website to contact them and their contact form is also down, the same experience each and every time Ive tried to contact them via email. This is the absolute worse experience weve ever come across.

I am extremely happy with this range. The quality exceeds my expectations and it looks sleek and modern. The burners heat things up quickly and evenly. Controls are pretty easy but you do want to read the manual.

We purchased the extended warranty and within the first three months we had 2 service calls for major repairs. In both cases the oven overheated and burnt up the food that was in it. A third call was made with another major repair. I wrote letters to Electrolux and the company I made the purchase and requested the appliance be replaced. Nothing was done and as soon as the warranty expired another major problem happened and cost us $550 to repair. We will never recommend Electrolux to family or friends.

Purchased a dishwasher for a summer home and it began leaking after a few washes. Because winter came and we didnt use the dishwasher the warranty was up. During each wash water poured over the floor. Had a drain pump fixed for over $400. Customer service was horrible. Now after two years it is doing it again. Another $400. Do not buy Electrolux appliances.

Purchased a new Electrolux Refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer in 2011. A year after purchase the refrigerator started breaking down. First the icemaker, then cooling/freezing, then the ice maker again. The unit was determined to be a lemon. Electrolux agreed to replace the refrigerator, and assist with repair cost. They replaced the refrigerator, and took the old one. When we asked for assistance with the cost of repair they demanded the serial/model number sticker and the original bill of sale. They were given both for the replacement. A year later the replacement refrigerator developed a pinhole in the back and began leaking water. We have now been dealing with getting a replacement for six months. At first they said they could find a replacement in our area. The appliance store that replaced the first one has a new one in their showroom. Then they said they would refund the money spent but demanded the invoice/bill of sale. We did not purchase the second refrigerator they replaced it. We do not have a bill of sale. Now they are requesting letter stating the problem, and that I take the serial/model plate from the inside of the refrigerator. When I said it is unlikely that I will be able to get it off in one piece, the representative said she knows that. All correspondence we have had with them contained the model number including the last letter on June 4, 2015. Yet, I still have to do the impossible to move to the next step. I am afraid the next step will be just another road block.

Upright freezer 1 and a half years old model ffvu17f4qwa quit working for no reason. Lost all my meat worth roughly 1500.00 and a big bloody stinky mess to clean up. When contacted Leons in Orillia they said they were sorry and no compensation for anything. Went back to old chest freezer that is still working. Never another Electrolux in my house. Would have a least have liked a phone call.

I bought a ** Refrigerator and Washing Machine 5 years ago when I built my house. Both are broken. The fridge leaked water all over the floor causing the base cabinets in the kitchen to suck up the moisture and ruin them. The Washing Machine needs a new circuit board. How does a circuit board fail after 5 years? Incredible. Stay away from Electrolux.

Don’t invest in any Electrolux appliances! It’s way too expensive and not well made stainless steel material. In less than a year the plastic around the pullout drawer broke. When I called inquiring about it, they told me I have to replace the entire drawer that would cost me over $700. The front of the refrigerator is rusting. The inside door panel is rusting and leaving yellow stains. Terrible company to deal with.

It is infuriating that a company does not stand behind their product. The interior of my Electrolux refrigerator is falling apart. The plastic supports are cracked and broken, making the drawers sit askew. Freshness of food? I have spoken to customer service twice... no help. When requesting to speak to a supervisor, I was kept on hold for lengthy amount of time only to be told that no supervisor would come to the phone. No supervisor will come to the phone? Customer service?I have been told by numerous appliance retailers that Electrolux appliances are plagued with quality issues. I purchased $10,000 in Electrolux appliances in 2012. Yes, the warranty has expired. But this is NOT acceptable. The interior portion of my refrigerator should be replaced... no questions asked. That is brand support and customer service. Own the fact that there have been ongoing issues, and work to maintain a loyal customer base. That is good business. I am a business owner. I would expect my employees to take better care of my customers. ELECTROLUX should be ashamed! I feel a responsibility to share my feeling with whomever will listen. Its infuriating. You have certainly lost this customer and I feel obligated to spread the word!

Electrolux is the worst appliances I have ever owned. Do not buy these appliances. The refrigerator had a recall and because we did not know about it we did not act on the issue. 18 months later the ice maker went bad on our refrigerator and they said they could not honor the claim. We have spent about $500 for the repairs on this refrigerator and it is only 3 years old. Bad quality, bad service. Nothing good about Electrolux.

Your product broke in less than 1 year and your warranty and replacement policies are a joke. They are designed to rip the consumer off. Its nearly 1 month since it broke down and after 3 techs visits and 3 orders for possible broke new parts, Im still without a washer and Electrolux are sending yes, a 4th tech out with more parts. If this washer ever gets repaired, its probably going to die immediately after those repairs cause the previous repair guys have torn it apart. They even pulled wires out and somehow managed to get them back into the boards.I saw this with my own eyes and I would bet 1 million dollars that those techs damaged those other boards and wired. And of course who will have to pay for those techs mistakes. Yes, thatll be me the customer. Cause they are in the business of selling horrible products without honoring repairs or replacements as they promise. Electrolux and Frigidaire are 2 names that should not be in business. My work order # **.

I have been verbally abused by this technician whos name is David. He confronted me over the phone, told me to find another technician as he found out that I made a complaint about him before. He did not do a great job last two times. He basically told me that he does not have time to do a charity job! I have been offered a goodwill warranty service but in Davids interpretation, it is a charity job for him. This is not the first time he made this comment, he said it before on his second visit, mentioning that I get the service for free and so I should spent some money to do rest of the job or do it by myself! So he walked off without testing the product. So the dishwasher still doesnt work. He was very abrupt, rude, not listening to me, and talked on top of me which was really depressing. This is unfair and breaching consumer laws and unfair business practices. People like him will destroy Goodwill of Electrolux.

We purchased an Electrolux French door refrigerator five years ago. It is now dead, as a problem with the ice maker caused the back of the refrigerator to completely rust out. I researched the issue and saw that this has happened dozens or hundreds of times with Electrolux refrigerators. I tried to get some satisfaction from the CEO, Alan Shaw, but he would not take my call, hiding behind a woman named Rita. They did offer me a 25% rebate on a new Electrolux product, but I would think since it is a known problem, and the unit only lasted 5 years, I would get a rebate of 65-75%. I was shocked when Rita told me that Electrolux refrigerators only last for 5-7 years. I don’t think I have ever had a refrigerator last less than 20 years. I have a new slogan for Electrolux - “buy an Electrolux - they only last 1/2 as long as the competition. Obviously, I will never buy another Electrolux product and I would encourage you to avoid them at all costs. They have no interest in customer satisfaction.

We first bought an Electrolux Icon French style (2 doors, bottom freezer) 6 years ago as part of a kitchen reno, along with matching wall ovens. From day one the ice maker had nothing but problems - service calls every few months. They did do 1 repair after the warranty expired. The next time I called they offered to replace the fridge at cost, and we agreed as we wanted to maintain the look of the kitchen. The ice maker on this unit worked, but after about a year the unit appeared to lose its mind and would randomly give high temp warnings, and then be OK for a day or two. Service tech diagnosed ice build up in the freezer and evaporator and recommended a full defrost. We did that and it was OK for few months, then happened again. This repeated 6 months later, and now again for the 3rd time. This time I pulled out the usin and noticed a huge patch of rust on the stainless steel back plate right behind the ice maker. So, looks like the ice maker has an internal leak, which builds up as ice inside the unit and eventually screws with the temp sensors. The door gasket is also now disintegrating. Bottom line - these people do not know how to design or build reliable refrigerators. They are quite literally junk. The ovens have been great though :).

We have a very big Electrolux fridge at our parents' house. We've had about 3 different refrigerators in the past 25 years and hands down it's the best we've ever had. The freezer is so cold that it takes less than an hour and a half for tap water to become ice. It's even colder than my ex's heart, LOL. The fridge itself is also very spacious. We never run out of space for food considering the fact that my mom has a tendency to hoard food in the ref for weeks. Everything stays nice and fresh when it's put inside our Electrolux fridge. Being that Electrolux is not really a popular refrigerator brand here (or anywhere I think), I would definitely recommend others to give it a try. You won't be disappointed!

My fridge was defective, it became evident 1.5 years into using it, but when I called I was told it was cosmetic and I had to pay for it myself. Then 5 years into it right after the extended warranty ended there was rust discovered in the back due to a hole because it was a defective product, the tech they sent made it worse by just covering it up. Now a 7 year old fridge... the entire back is rusted and now $3200 is gone. Knowing they made a mistake I am offered a 20% discount on another fridge. Customer service is nonexistent. Terrible product terrible service just awful! DO NOT BUY!

Bought this washer on the recommendation of a friend, and I'm so glad I did! It's so quiet, unless it's on its final spin, but that's okay as it really extracts the water. Love the features, and especially like the pod function and the steam! Best washer I have ever owned.

We have a French Door Bottom Freezer stainless steel refrigerator that we paid over $3,000 for. The ice maker had problems from the beginning. First it would ice up, now it sets off an alarm saying a power failure has occurred. The repairman charges a fortune. The insurance costs a fortune. Really? A $3,500 refrigerator with this many problems & we have to pay? We are more than angry about this. My cousin bought the same refrigerator & her mother board went out! The part had to be ordered. It cost her over $600! I will throw this out the door before I will pay that much for repairs. I bought this in June of 2009 so 5 years!! Do not by this brand!! Nothing is made to last anymore. Just a rip off. Serial #4A91513407 Model #EW28BS701IS.
