I purchased a brand new Zanussi, European brand from Electrolux, washing machine in May 2011. It was not shipped through to Brazil. When we arrived and tried to use it for first time in November 2011, the machine would not even start. I contacted Electrolux in London and got referred to Brazilian side. I contacted Brazilian side and got referred to local service company. I contacted the service company, who immediately responded by sending a repairman the next day. The repairmen could not resolve the problem and promised to contact us back shortly once he obtains the diagrams for this particular type. I never heard back from him.I called again in January and got a new repairman. This one confirmed that two parts are faulty and must be obtained by them. I never heard back from him again. I contacted again in February, in March and in April. Nothing is being done. In fact, each time we call, the registration number they gave us the last time is incorrect, so we are told.So not only does Electrolux honor its warranty obligations, they do not deliver on promises. They also try to lie and cancel out warranty policies by providing incorrect record numbers. I bet that when we call end of April, when our warranty nearly runs out, they will not be able to assist as our warranty has run out. What a disgrace of a company!

I have a high end Electrolux refrigerator that is only 5 years old. The ice maker rusted through the back of the refrigerator and a softball size lump of ice was sticking out of the rusted area. The repairman stated the refrigerator was not repairable, he notified Electrolux and stated Electrolux would make good on it. Electrolux offered a 20% rebate on my next Electrolux refrigerator purchase because of the age of my refrigerator. My refrigerator is 5 years old. A refrigerator life expectancy is 14-17 years, making the average 15.5 years. My refrigerator lasted less than 1/3 of the average expectancy and I expected Electrolux to give me 2/3 off my next purchase. They stated my refrigerator was past warranty. Well Electrolux, this was a KNOWN manufacturer’s defect and you allowed the warranty to expire without informing your consumers. I bought Electrolux because I believed you to be upfront and honest and to stand behind your product and most of all to do the right thing. I couldnt be more wrong. I will never buy from you again and that includes your Frigidaire brand and I will be sure to let everyone I know and even strangers that you do NOT stand behind your product and are deceptive by not disclosing manufacturer defects to consumers at every opportunity.

I purchased a high end set of kitchen appliances (through Sears Canada) in 2009 - an Electrolux fridge and a top of the line electric range/oven. After 5 years, the fridge literally started to fall apart. The faux aluminum strips on the exterior of the fridge starting falling off and the ice making unit ceased working completely and the inside seal on the door was failing. Sears was very helpful but Electrolux was a complete and utter disaster to deal with. After investing a tremendous amount of time and energy in getting them to step up and deal with their inferior product issues, we were given a nominal credit towards buying another Electrolux fridge. Guess what? Within 9 months, we experienced similar product quality issues and made the decision to get rid of it and replace it with KitchenAid fridge which has been performing flawlessly since day one.Next, the oven stopped working. The burners were not functioning at all. Electrolux herded us over to a local service provider who indicated that this kind of problem was a common theme across the Electrolux high end oven product line. The service technician indicated that he would be unable to isolate the specific problem (we kept getting the e15 code of death). He recommended replacing a component for over $500 but warned us that there was a possibility that this would not necessarily rectify the problem - and if it didnt, we would need to spend a further $1100 to replace a circuit board of some sort. Guess what? The fix didnt work. We contacted Electrolux customer service and after numerous discussions they relented and offered us 20% off, as a sign of good faith, a new one. Really??? Do you actually think that I would buy another one of their products after 3 of them failed inside of 6 years? This is the worst, and I mean worst, product quality issue that I could ever imagine encountering. Never, ever, ever again.

Picked this up locally, and installation was fairly easy. At first we thought there was a issue with the keys as they didn't seem too responsive. We learned that you must touch and hold for a second to have it register. No biggie, just have to slow down :-) One complaint is the exhaust fan noise. It's LOUD. I have it exhausting out the top to the outside of the house. However it's very loud inside. I believe a lot of it is wind noise, because the fan is rated at a very high CFM for over the stove microwaves. My other complaint is the underside lights. They work great but they get HOT. If left on for a period of time, they will heat up the inside of the microwave. You would of thought they would have used LED's.

Electrolux is the worst product out there for refrigerators. Please do not buy one!! My refrigerator icemaker is broke and they will not give me a new refrigerator. It was a manufacturer error and they said that they are not going to fix it and I am not getting a new fridge. Now I am stuck with the refrigerator and a broken ice maker!!! They offered to give me a 10% coupon in the mail... Like I am really going to purchase another 5,000 fridge let alone from them!!! Don’t buy it from them!!! You will be sorry! I am so sorry I did.

About 3.5 years ago we totally remodeled our kitchen. We purchased a double oven, warmer, stove top, and two dishwashers. One dishwasher needed a pump replaced after six months. After the warranty expired both dishwashers started to develop problems. They would not totally drain. I had both serviced at different times and the same problem continues. The service mechanic called customer service to see if there was a recall and was told no and that they werent aware of a major problem. When running they are very silent but are not worth the problems or repair costs. I would not repurchase an Electrolux product again. Strongly considering returning dishwashers to front of store where purchased, calling the news media to watch me take a hammer to the items to show my dissatisfaction, costly but very gratifying.

We have a very big Electrolux fridge at our parents' house. We've had about 3 different refrigerators in the past 25 years and hands down it's the best we've ever had. The freezer is so cold that it takes less than an hour and a half for tap water to become ice. It's even colder than my ex's heart, LOL. The fridge itself is also very spacious. We never run out of space for food considering the fact that my mom has a tendency to hoard food in the ref for weeks. Everything stays nice and fresh when it's put inside our Electrolux fridge. Being that Electrolux is not really a popular refrigerator brand here (or anywhere I think), I would definitely recommend others to give it a try. You won't be disappointed!

I called your 1-800-265-8352 number because the dryer I just purchased on December 20, 2021 and tried using for the first time yesterday (there was a delay in using the machines because a plumber was required to hook up the washing machine due to where the drain is in our house) and I discovered that there is no heat in the dryer and its not drying my clothes. I called Canadian Appliance store where I purchased the washer/dryer and they told me to call the number I mentioned. I called, waited 20+ minutes to talk to someone and when they answered there was so much static on the line it was difficult to hear. I have been on the phone for over 2 hours today. I have given the serial number, my name and address multiple times. At first the representative told me it was no longer under warranty, now hes trying to create an account and has given me an account number. Needless to say, this is extremely disappointing customer service. Apparently, a technician will be calling me tomorrow to arrange a time to come, however, given the questionable service so far and extremely poor audible quality I have no confidence that I will actually hear from someone. I tried emailing Electrolux.ca but my email was denied?! There does not seem to be a way of communicating with anyone from customer service. I tried calling again to verify an account had been created and that someone would be calling me tomorrow and that person disconnected the call. I tried calling again to verify and all 3 times it was almost impossible to hear the person on the line because of static and echo. My experience is not good. What are you willing to do to save rectify this?

Whoa -- either in 1970 or 1971, my parents purchased a Gibson freezer. Within in the last 2 years - yep last 2 yrs - we decided to replace the working Gibson. It was still working and never broke down once. But of course, it used way too much electricity and we didnt want to take a chance with a freezer full of food. Went to Lowes and purchased an Electrolux (tag inside of freezer) but says Frigidaire on the outside. Of course, yesterday it died and ruined a full freezer. It just floors me that a freezer thats almost 45 years would still be working and the new freezer that is ** 2 years old took a crap - OF COURSE -- ITS OUT OF WARRANTY!!! WILL NEVER AGAIN EVEN WASTE MY TIME LOOKING AT ELECTROLUX/FRIGIDAIRE.Updated on 07/07/2017: Within a couple of days I received an email back from Electrolux. - blah blah blah -. Yes, they said they were concerned and asked for more information regarding the repair. Explained, repair person was coming Sat. - he came - found what was wrong, said he would order the part and come back to install it. I emailed Electrolux again & explained it was a control of some kind. Never did they let me know NOT to pay the repair person ---- well let me know if you know of a company that will be willing to fix an appliance and then WAIT for payment. After the repair was completed, I emailed back and gave the additional information, & asked where I could mail the invoice since we paid for the repair. HAVE NOT HEARD A WORD SINCE. I do understand no company will pay for any food that was ruined or labor.

I purchased a new apartment sized washer dryer combo approximately 2 and a half years ago. It was always noisy when it was on the spin cycle but then the noise became unbearable so I called an authorized repair service. I was told the shaft was broken and it would cost $700 or more to repair and there was no guarantee it wouldn’t happen again, that cost me $100. I called and complained to Electrolux and they said all they would do was cover 20% of the cost of new parts which to me is next to nothing. So the lesson is if you buy from Electrolux get the extended warranty and good to you.

Same story as many other reviews. Bought a new Electrolux fridge online at Home Depot Canada. Was dropped off and after 24hrs I noticed ice forming in freezer. I called HD and after 4 attempts to contact the service repair place I finally had someone come and tell me the fridge is faulty and I now need to call my local HD to get a new one. After MANY calls I was then told to call HD head office, then was told to call Electrolux direct, then was told to call back HD H.O. - my head was spinning SO MUCH from the royal runaround. I am STILL waiting to get this dealt with. Keep getting promised I will get called back and NEVER once been called back. Ive spend hours of my valuable time chasing this around and sitting on hold. Like others have said I will NEVER buy another appliance from Home Depot NOR will I EVER buy an Electrolux product as their after sales service is non-existent!

My refrigerator needed a gasket. I ordered it through Electrolux. It wasnt delivered properly in the box. The gasket was in worst condition as my existing gasket. The gasket was exposed and clearly had been in heat for hours. Electrolux would not replace the gasket after speaking to a supervisor. Whos to say that the product was not of quality when the distributor packaged it. The supervisor offered a 20% discount to purchase another gasket. Oh my... why would I do that? They have truly lost a customer and I will share with others not to buy an Electrolux product!

Our new home came with Electrolux appliances, which I thought was great. Not so much. My dishwasher buttons are smearing off (Model EI24ID81SS) and the button board requires unplug and replugging when the button board freezes. My wall oven has (EW30EW55PS) has a temperature probe that worked for the two times I used it, and does not work. My microwave (EW30SO60QS) creates steam on the buttons, which have already malfunctioned for 4 months where the time or timer just didnt work. I have to leave my microwave open to make sure the steam for using the microwave does not break the buttons. The gas stove top (EW36GC55PS) didnt ignite one of the burners after 1 month of use so I had to manually grab a lighter & ignite the burner for use. Ive never had so many issues from one brand. The only 1 star is for their aesthetic appearance.

We purchased 4 Electrolux kitchen appliances, a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and range 10 years ago. Wanted all my appliances to match. The range worked except the oven panel on the bottom started to bubble. I called to get it replaced and they told me it wasnt made anymore so I had to live with it. After 2 years the microwave broke and had to replace it, 3 years later the microwave broke again and had to buy another. Then 4 years went by, and the refrigerator broke down completely! Of course, I kept saying - I want them to all match so we bought a new refrigerator. Well about 6 months later, you guessed it, the microwave broke. That was our third one. When I called to see if it could be fixed or replace the panel found out it was so expensive had to buy another. When speaking to customer support I happen to mention about my oven panel. Said yes, they did have a replacement so I ordered it in February. About a month ago it started to bubble just like the last one. Last week I called them and said had to pay for another. Which I will not do. Have not mentioned my dishwasher because I dont use it!! Sure it would break if I did. Hope you were able to read this long experience. In 10 years I have had 3 microwaves, 2 refrigerators and a oven panel that looks terrible. All Electrolux!!! Terrible!!!

I purchased a complete set of electrolux appliances just over 2 years ago. The main control panel on my stove burnt out 3 months after purchase. The ice maker on my refrigerator has been repaired 3 times and is now done for good. I have broken cheap plastic trim on my fridge doors and the handle on my microwave broke off last week. Their customer service department is HORRIBLE. Impossible to work with. After the last issue with our ice maker, the local repairman was instructed by electrolux to pull the fridge away from the wall and check to see if there was any frost on the back of the fridge. You should have seen it. Apparently the model I have, has an insulation problem, which is why the ice maker keeps freezing up and stopping. I was told they were going to replace my fridge with a brand new unit...different model of course. BUT...I was on the hook for the delivery and replacement fee...because I was out of warranty. After 5 phone calls arguing this point...they told me I would not get the fridge...unless I agreed to pay the fee. End of discussion. RIDICULOUS. They sell me a piece of crap and I still have to pay for it. Well...its been 2 months since they promised me a new fridge..and I was forced to agree to pay the $200 delivery fee.......and its still not here. I get weekly phone calls...telling me the same story....still not in stock...but they expect it any day. I will NEVER give Electrolux/Frigidaire another dime of my money. Their stuff is JUNK!!

I purchased a complete set of ICON Electrolux appliances just over 10 months ago. The first time we used the dishwasher, the control panel kept displaying a code 11 that indicated a drain valve issue. I contacted the customer service department and they referred me to a service company to come and review the issue. The service tech had no idea what he needed to do, and advised me that it was not an issue with the appliance, but an installation issue and advised there was nothing he could do. I then contacted a plumber at my own cost and was advised by a 25-year experienced plumber that there was nothing wrong with the installation and to contact Electrolux back to get a second opinion from another service tech. I contacted Electrolux back and after many complaints, they finally sent a different service company to review the product. The new service tech finally advised that the issue was due to the faulty computer board, which he advise Electrolux to replace. Electrolux then advised that the dishwasher I purchased was no longer available and the store which I purchased from gave me a refund. I then decided to give Electrolux another chance and purchased their product. Recently, I used the self-clean on my Electrolux ICON stove and when the self-clean was complete, I opened the stove and noticed the door window had dirty film in between the glass and there were two size toony marks on right and left side of the door. I wiped it with a damp cloth and pieces of the material started chipping off. I sent an email to their customer service department and they advised there was nothing they can do as their guarantee only covers working parts and not visual ones. I could not believe that I received such an email from a high-end company.

After purchasing an $1,100 dryer you would hope to get some longevity out of it. After less than 3 weeks, the dryer belt burned out. 3 months later the same thing happened again. The second time Electrolux sent a service tech who came without parts left and said he would come back again the next morning. Did not show up so we have a dryer in pieces with no word back. My preference is NO STAR, but thats not an option. I paid $263.95 for an extended warranty only to have the tech come out and tell me the unit (refrigerator) was built defective and would need to be replaced. I waited a couple of days and received an email letting me know I need to contact the delivery company and pay an additional $169 to have the defective product removed and deliver a new unit. Electrolux sells you junk and wants more money to replace it. I called the delivery company and they are telling me, your unit is here, but its on hold. I asked the person on the other end of the line, so now what? The response was, Call Electrolux to find out why its on hold.So I call and the person tells me he wants to contact the original customer service person I spoke to and figure out whats going on. He asked if I paid the $169 and I told him no. He confirmed my number and said he would call me back. 3 hours later no call, so I decide to call Electrolux back to see whats going on. I wait on hold for 15 minutes because of the heavy volume of calls. The customer service rep answers and I explain to her whats going on and her response is, they must have gone home for the day is why I never heard back. This is NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE! She tells me she needs my consent to release the product and I will pay on good faith once the replacement unit is delivered. I call back to the delivery company and tell them what I just did and now they are telling me, No, we do not take payment and I need to call Electrolux! I told her this doesnt make any sense and the woman said she will send Electrolux non-customer service department an email to figure out whats going on. I asked if I could at least get my name on their delivery schedule and she said no, as long as the product is on hold she cannot do that and here I am, SUPER FRUSTRATED and have no idea whats going to happen next. I will NEVER BUY from Electrolux again and will NEVER RECOMMEND them to anyone. I hope this gets out to as many people as possible and makes some kind of sense.

I was extremely excited to buy a set of supposedly quality washer and dryer
I was extremely excited to buy a set of supposedly quality washer and dryers made by Electrolux last year in March 2015. We purchased them from hhgregg in Lakeland, FL. Less than a year later the washer made a funny screeching noise and would not fully spin all the water out of the clothes. So thankfully it was under warranty being it was less than a year old. They sent a technician to look at the washer. (He was very nice) He said it was the drum and can order a new part and when it comes in we will come back out and replace it for you. He called in the repair, we were told it would be in the next week on a Monday. So Monday comes and goes. We called and they said the part didnt come in, it will be another week. This is extremely frustrating being we have a new born and have been washing clothes at a laundry mat and a neighbors house. SPENDING MONEY AT LAUNDROMAT!!! Finally after over 50$ in coins spent they came out on 03/15 and replaced some parts. Not only did one of the guys come to our house coughing and hacking all over the place they left scratches on the front of the washer!!! So guess what??? My baby gets a cold, no one is sick in our house and still she is fighting it. Im so upset at this whole ordeal. So even worse!!! TODAY the washer starts making the same sound, this time I recorded it on my phone to show the technician. About less than a minute after recording the spin cycle which is the last cycle... I walk out to the kitchen which is right off the laundry room, I start to smell smoke!!! Like something is burning! I go back into the laundry room and theres smoke coming from the damn washer. I panic and hit cancel, run to the living room, grab my daughter and my phone, run outside and called my husband who called the fire department. The fire department just left and my husband is the phone with hhgregg since our warranty ran out on 03/28/2016. They said OH WELL! My house would have burned down if I didnt hit cancel. We did purchase an extended warranty through hhgregg so we will see what happens. I am terrified to use these machines! I have pictures, video, and a report from the fire department. I will keep everyone updated. I no longer want these machines in my home. I will be returning both units to hhgregg even if we just drop them off. We are being handed back and forth from hhgregg and Electrolux at the moment. This was a very scary event today and we are being treated like no one wants to touch the washer because it caught on fire. Cannon Appliance Service said they want nothing to do with the repair anymore, call hhgregg. We are being told they have to come out and look at it and make sure it wasnt OUR FAULT their machine caught on fire. Thats where we are at, they are coming on Monday 04/04/16 to check it out. The fire department put the washer outside on our driveway. I have a video of the washer and you can actually see smoke starting to come out of the machine which I didnt notice till I watched the video just now.

We built a new home and purchased all new appliances in 2009. We bought an Electrolux French Door Refrigerator and a 30 Double Convection Wall Oven. The first thing to go was the panel on the wall oven. Then the Ice Maker. Twice. Both under warranty fortunately. Then the French Door had to be replaced because the magnet at the bottom of the door kept sticking and we had to pull on the door so hard to get it to open that the door split open. Luckily we were good friend with our Appliance Sales folks and they got an Electrolux Sales Guy to give us a new door. Now the ovens dont work. Started with the lower oven not coming up to temperature. Lets not even talk about either of the temp oven probes which are so badly designed they cant tell the difference between the oven temp and the food temp, so they either turn off the oven to keep warm before your food is cooked, or they cook at the temp you tried to set for the food. Dont think 140 for beef is going to cook anything. Anyway, back to the lower oven. Oven panel says one temp, but gauge set in the oven says much lower. Then the upper oven started doing the same thing. Had a tech look at it, and he asked if I had just run the cleaning cycle. When I said yes, his response was Dont run a cleaning cycle before a Holiday! Meaning that the oven problems happen during a cleaning cycle. Anyway, both oven liners have buckled and are touching the heating elements, causing them to ground out. I need two oven liners, two heating elements, one relay panel, two guys and four hours of labor to repair by oven. Total $2,400 for an oven I paid $3,600 for 5 years ago. You would think you would get more than 5 years of an appliance. Then the French Door went again. This time its the major electrical panel, so now that another $500 service and part repair. Is it worth writing to Electrolux?

Electrolux is not living up to the no lemon clause of their service contract which states that if the same part on an appliance is replaced three times the customer is entitled to a cash settlement or another comparable appliance. This contract is not followed by Electrolux for my washer because they do not maintain the records. I have an email from them which states this. Furthermore, the local service companies they use also have no accurate records. They reuse the same service tickets and do not record the part numbers so it is impossible for the customer to make a claim. I have proof of this as well. My transmission was replaced at least four times. They lie about fixing the machine which is still broken. According to them the washer moving away from the wall and damaging components is normal and operating according to factory specifications. Is this case a candidate for a class action law suit or other action?

Three years ago I purchased a French door refrigerator from Sears but was manufactured by Electrolux. Immediately we noticed the ice maker did not supply enough ice. Sears came out and replaced icemaker three times. Still does not supply enough ice but you get tired of appointments and meeting repairmen to make the same repairs over and over again. The last repairman said this was a common problem with the refrigerator I have. Last weekend I pulled open the freezer drawer and it fell apart. After spending an hour to make it functional I decided it was time to replace it. So this week I purchased another new refrigerator. One NOT manufactured by Electrolux.

I purchased a house with Electrolux Icon appliances. In the first two months, the ice maker required four service calls to get working reliably; the microwave required one to the get door aligned so it would operate, and the dishwasher required two service calls. These were all paid for by Electrolux. After 18 months, the dishwasher is now giving the error 1 code, which appears to very problematic and difficult to diagnose/repair, and one burner on the stove smells like gas, even when it is on, rendering it unusable. At the prices that these appliances cost, one would expect them to run when new, and to last more than 18 months.

I purchased a top of the line Electrolux front load washing machine in March of 2015. I was a happy consumer for 2 weeks. I am now frustrated beyond words with the poor performance of the washing machine, and the I do not care attitude of the Electrolux corp. After many service calls to Electrolux and days without a washing machine, they are now here to rebuild my new Electrolux washing machine. Electrolux is not a product worthy of spending our hard earned money on.The Electrolux corporation and their response to the consumer is more disappointing than the inferior product they build.

Electrolux Model EI28BS56IS8 /double door refrigerator /micro - Final straw was today; after three service visits on our Electrolux microwave they replaced it. That was good however now the new one is starting to make a funny noise. If that was not frustrating enough the ice maker continues to not work. They obviously have a problem with this; I continue to see others with the same problem. Tech have been out four times in the year and half we have had the product. Now today the water dispenser stopped working. FRUSTRATING!

It was checked twice by Ale ASA company, your dealer at Al Khobar, not able to repair yet. I bought this brand because I had good past experience with same brand fridge. Now I am disappointed. Two weeks later the tech came with the second one that also didnt work. One month on a new refrigerator and no ice. Since then, an ice maker service call repair every six months. Company takes no ownership of their products performance and customer service and their supervisor spend their time trying to sell a $300 per year service contract. Thank goodness, I purchased the extended warranty, BUT the inconvenience of having to call for repair, doing without, and waiting for repair to come fix is extremely frustrating. I will be happy when this piece of junk is out of warranty as I will gladly to forced to purchase a new one........ NEVER an ELECTROLUX product!UPDATED ON 04/17/2015: I am on my 2nd Electrolux refrigerator. This 2nd one is only because it was a replacement for the 1st one due to its poor performance with the ice maker. Now, there is trouble with the ice maker on this one. I am awaiting for the part that is supposedly a fix. The part was ordered on 3/30 and is supposed to arrive at my home. Then, I am to call for the repairman to come install it. Going on 18 days and then call and wait for the repairman to schedule... REALLY? With all the trouble I have had along with many, many other people who have had this refrigerator, I would NEVER choose another Electrolux refrigerator. They should have stuck with making vacuum cleaners!!

I have 5 little kids ages 10 months to 9 years and I do laundry as you can imagine as a MUST every second day!! Bought Electrolux washer dryer since I was advised they have fastest washing time and does great wash! To my utmost disappointment and my worst nightmare I got a lemon of a Wash machine! Worked for 1 week! Only! Started squeaking then leaking! Called the company and since it is under warranty they said will send someone down! Waited a full week! Finally the technician says gotta replace 5 parts! Had to wait 2 weeks for parts! You can imagine Im schlepping garbage bags and bags with kids in tow to Laundromat! Aggravation! Finally parts arrive, the technician comes back after a few days- installs back tub, front tub, basket, rubber by door! Every single part in this new machine! And disappears before he even has a chance to check it out properly! Besides for he scratched up my wall, and left all the old parts and garbage by my front door! Heavy parts!!I breathe a sigh of relief though somewhat! Great let’s do laundry! Throw in much needed load, and whoa when it comes to spinning it starts squeaking and bam! Stops spinning totally!!! This was Friday afternoon, can’t reach technician till Monday! Finally reach them Monday after suffering through Laundromat again. Guy comes back, opens the insides, says “oh the rubber slid off”! Puts it back on! And out the door he is! Call me if you have any problem!I had towels that were smelling already, threw in the load and in no time the squeaking started!!! Before I had a chance to do anything smoke started bellowing out of the machine. I pressed cancel and quickly called and ran for all the kids! I grabbed the infant and toddler ran outside! Luckily phone was in hand I called fire dept! Thank God I caught it early and stopped the machine! But I cannot use it now!I called Electrolux and they say they will send other repair company!! I begged, demanded and threatened for a new machine!! Can you believe that!?? They refused!! I need a new machine! I got a total lemon! I have 5 little kids! I cannot afford all the aggravation to wait for them to come figure out that they cannot fix or how.

In the first few months during which I purchased a brand new dishwasher, it began spilling out water, flooding my entire kitchen. I have had repair people service it 4 times already and still the problem persists. I called Electrolux and complained this issue is causing damage to my house. It is very inconvenient to keep changing my schedule to wait for the repair person and we have no confidence at all in putting the unit on as we fear it will flood the house. They told me that the only thing that they could do is to keep sending the repair person, as per the terms of the contract. So I am stuck with a clearly defective, faulty appliance that Electrolux continues to deny to be broken. The main problem is the ice maker. The waterline frequently is clogged, necessitating service repair. The design of the ice receptacle is backwards, so every time you open the freezer, ice falls to the floor of the freezer, making you reach back to remove the ice from the floor of the freezer and the kitchen floor.

I bought an expensive Electrolux refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher in 2012. So far I have required repairs on the dishwasher (control panel went dead); stove (would not self clean) and the refrigerator has broken plastic that holds up the bins; very hard to remove drawers and put back in for cleaning. The bin handles you pull out are broken on at least 3 drawers. I bought these online thinking if I paid a very high price I would get quality - WRONG. I believe the cheap builders appliances would have been better than the Electrolux fix and repair too often.

We have a maintenance contract w/ Electrolux for French Door ref purchased Dec 2010.. We were advised by tech contracted with Elux that the company made this ice maker for 18 mos. Due to failure of same, ice maker replaced in new products. Currently, we have had no ice maker since Jul 7 2014. We have had terrible service from both Elux and local tech. All reps apologize for inconvenience, appreciate our frustration, take a msg and nothing happens. I have a ref/file number, still no resolution. Page 1 of the Maintenance service contract states No Lemon Guarantee with requirements that we have met. Being that we have a ref/file number, tech said unit would be replaced. Again, poor service from Electrolux service i.e advised that no photos recd, no report received when service provider, MasterTech contact Lydia, says photos were emailed and report was sent to Elux. MasterTech sent email photos to me yesterday at my request. I forwarded these emails to Elux to Stacy, customer service (?) rep at Elux with request that she has recd email. No response. I am going to contact local vendor as well as TV station, The Turko File, to report this terrible service. As a very satisfied customer with ref but very unsatisfied with ice maker issue and no real assistance other than empty apologies, its time to move to another level. We referred this style ref to friends who purchased after we did; they evidently have the upgraded ref w/ ice maker and love the product. That being said, I would not purchase an Elux ref EVER again and their contracted service technicians are paid very little - they are not paid for additional visits. A losing proposition for techs and then ultimately, us as consumers.

Our nightmare with our Electrolux appliances is similar to the others on this site. We purchased a fridge and had issues the first year. Husband bought the matching dishwasher before the first issue occurred with the fridge. After at least a dozen service calls between the two appliances and 2 different repair companies, Electrolux did replace the DW with the newer redesigned model. Well that was approx. 2 years ago and we are now on our 3rd issue with the new improved model. The first issue was in the first few months and a typical error code, parts replaced. We since went through a kitchen remodel last year and now the 3rd issue with this new improved DW - possible heating element out? DW doesnt seem hot and theres mold on spray arms, soap dispenser, and racks - smell is horrid. We were offered 50% off another DW after the last issue but I would never buy another Electrolux appliance. We did not buy the Electrolux matching cook top or double oven when we remodeled. The company we purchased from went out of business and the storeowner himself did the installation. When he carted our 20+ yr old Whirlpool DW away, he said it was a good model - just the baskets were old (we should have kept it)! The Electrolux manager who handled our replacement DW had verbally told me if this 2nd DW had ANY issue, they would refund the $ paid for our 1st DW. My mistake, I never got it in writing, so when the 2nd issue surfaced, I had no proof of the offer. The frustration, time spent sitting home waiting for the repair co., waiting for parts to be Fed Exd, nothing was worth the frustration and I could have written a book on my experience. I would never buy another Electrolux product.

Never buy an Electrolux side-by-side refrigerator with a water dispenser and ice maker. We bought one in 2011. After the first year, the water dispenser began to function erratically (the water wouldnt stop running). Over time, this problem cascaded into a myriad of problems that caused the entire unit to fail. We had paid for the extended warranty, so Electrolux replaced it. But now, the replacement unit has the same problems! Were reluctant to start the repair process, fearing this unit may also self-destruct. Our only option is to again pay $800 for the extended warranty but a good product should not require customers to endlessly invest in warranties. This product seems to have an inherent defect that the company has failed to fix. Save yourself this grief and buy some other brand of refrigerator besides an Electrolux.

We bought a counter depth french door refrigerator with the ice maker in the door. From the very beginning we have had trouble with the ice maker. They repaired it twice and it still did not work. The last time my husband called, they said they needed to order a part and we never heard from them again. We finally unhooked the water to the fridge. When Sears sent their extended warranty offer, I wrote them a letter and told them that I would not buy their warranty due to the fact that the refrigerator was not repaired by Electrolux, and Sears did not assist us in any form, so why would I purchase an extended warranty. Now, the seal on the freezer failed. We have never gotten any satisfaction from Electrolux or Sears concerning our refrigerator. We purchased an Electrolux washer (and dryer) - our first Electrolux brand
We purchased an Electrolux washer (and dryer) - our first Electrolux brand of major appliance. We are normally careful to read reviews and check the brand out. All the reviews regarding the product features and benefits were strong. Never having had a problem with all laundry appliances we have purchased over the last 20 years or so, we failed to check the feedback on quality and service. Did check with friends and family with Electrolux laundry appliances - and they had performance concerns but did not have any service issues. Within the first 9 months, the washer developed a bottom leak (which I now see is a common problem). We are not high volume users, doing about 4 to 6 loads every month. Upon calling Electrolux, it seems that the authorized service agent in my area (the greater Boston area) can only come out 2 weeks from the day I called. Since this is the only way I can have my appliance repaired and the cost covered under the manufacturers warranty, I accepted the appointment. I think that it is reasonable to expect a problem free first year (or longer for an appliance that costs as much), as has been our experience over the last 20+ years. And, if it seems that this is a common issue, and likely a manufacturing defect. In my view, the manufacturer should stand behind their reputation and provide extended warranty coverage to address known manufacturing defects while fixing the issue in their design and production. If this were a car, I am quite sure there would be a recall to fix the problem at no cost to the owner. Fortunately, the damage caused by the water leaking is not major in our case. Nonetheless, it is not usable as it is for an extended period. So, families who may have the washer installed where there is potential for water leakage damage or who cannot function without a washer for a couple of weeks (or more), or who may not want to incur the additional maintenance costs - may wish to exclude this brand from their consideration.

NEVER BUY ELECTROLUX!!! First know that I have previously purchased other products. GE that have lasted 2.5 times longer, no repairs and still running!! I decided to buy two higher END APPLIANCES thinking they would serve us well and add value to our home. WRONG! My refrigerator ice maker never worked properly. Finally I had it checked and repaired for about $600.00. Not many people service these products. Now the dishwasher broke! I called for assistance and they could not help me fix it (I removed the cover directed) then I said I will not pay for this to be fixed. They offered 50% off of parts to repair. I am in business. Parts are marked up at least 3 to 5 times the cost. So they are still making money. I said, fine, as long as I do not pay for service. They replied, cant help you there. Well, how insulting so I could be on the hook for a $300-$600 service call plus 50% of parts! I said, I am fair lets do this, Ill pay for the first $100 in service and 50% of parts. That is fair. If this product wasnt a bad product major repairs would not be necessary. So they could have used the money they would have made on the parts to pay for the balance of the service call. Please note we are a small household. Mother, Grandmother and daughter. These products are not overused or abused! NEVER BUY ELECTROLUX...ITS A WASTE OF MONEY!! IT WILL NOT LAST! THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS! Electrolux FFHT2117LWO over-under refrigerator: This was a replacement for our old one under a utility company energy program. It has run OK, but you cant turn the defrost off, and it seems to run a lot. The handles are our biggest problem. We had to remove the bottom door handle because we hit our heads on it a lot-- opening from the left. It seems to be in just exactly the wrong place. Then, when youre rummaging in the main frig cabinet and straighten back up, POW you hit your head on the freezer handle, very painful and the handles have sharp edges, too. I have thought about removing their awful handles and making my own which curve up, from the bottom of the freezer door. They are not reversible. As a few others have said... POOR construction. The wheel isnt attached properly, shreds the belt, digs into and eventually punctures the drum... which leads to leaking. The leaking of course wasnt noticed until the washing machine QUIT working all together, after 2 months.... and now we have mold on our brand new floor and baseboards. And do you think Electrolux cares? NO. They refuse to refund my money for their crap product. They dont have a buy back program. Ive missed time from work, had to pay to go to a laundromat, and have now been a full month without a machine... We first bought an Electrolux Icon French style (2 doors, bottom freezer) 6 years ago as part of a kitchen reno, along with matching wall ovens. From day one the ice maker had nothing but problems - service calls every few months. They did do 1 repair after the warranty expired. The next time I called they offered to replace the fridge at cost, and we agreed as we wanted to maintain the look of the kitchen. The ice maker on this unit worked, but after about a year the unit appeared to lose its mind and would randomly give high temp warnings, and then be OK for a day or two. Service tech diagnosed ice build up in the freezer and evaporator and recommended a full defrost. We did that and it was OK for few months, then happened again. This repeated 6 months later, and now again for the 3rd time. This time I pulled out the usin and noticed a huge patch of rust on the stainless steel back plate right behind the ice maker. So, looks like the ice maker has an internal leak, which builds up as ice inside the unit and eventually screws with the temp sensors. The door gasket is also now disintegrating. Bottom line - these people do not know how to design or build reliable refrigerators. They are quite literally junk. The ovens have been great though :).

We have a defective Electrolux refrigerator. According to the repairman, our ice maker was not insulated sufficiently from the back panel of the refrigerator. It has caused condensate to form on the back of the appliance. We discovered a large (about 6 in diameter) rust spot there with a trailing one of about 18 or so. There is condensate on the back that drips continually and the metal is actually flaking off. We have no idea how long this has been going on. We only discovered it because of a kitchen remodel. Meanwhile, it has been dripping down to a wood floor. We could be dealing with mold inside the back panel or eventually on the back of the refrigerator and wall (which I am highly allergic to). We have contacted Electrolux and all that was offered was us contacting another repairman (at our expense). They are not honoring their warranty. I also have an Electrolux stove. Im not feeling very good about it now! These appliances are expensive. I will never buy another Electrolux or Frigidaire product.

Electrolux quite possibly has THE worst customer service I have ever dealt with. The earliest we can get a repairman out to look is another 8 days out!!!!! Absolutely ridiculous! I plan on posting every negative review that I can and will never purchase an Electrolux product ever again.

I purchased an Electrolux refrigerator 4 years ago based on many trips to appliance centers who all recommended this brand. I have had both a GE refrigerator and Whirlpool in the past with virtually no issues. The water paddle has failed twice (only my husband and I live here). There is no replacement for just the paddle so you have to buy the entire water dispensing system. The board control went out in 11/2011 and now the same board needs to be replaced again for the price of $400-$500 with service. I called Electrolux who told me to buy an extended warranty yearly for the price of $196. I will never ever buy another Electrolux product again. It makes me wonder if this company was paying higher commissions on their products than their competitors due to so many people stating they heard it was the best appliance from so many sales people.

We purchased a new French door refrigerator with an external ice dispenser 4 years ago. The only problem is that the ice cubes have black circles on the bottom. Electrolux has been here every year since to fix/replace the tray in which the ice cubes are made, as apparently the metal from the tray attaches itself to the bottom of the ice cubes. I asked if they were possibly toxic and the reply was that this was not a known problem! They have offered me a 50% discount on a new refrigerator. Right. Like Im going to spend $2000 to get a working icemaker. What is most surprising is that they do not seem to care at all, and of course speaking to anyone who might be concerned is impossible. Never, never again.

Purchased a new Electrolux Refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer in 2011. A year after purchase the refrigerator started breaking down. First the icemaker, then cooling/freezing, then the ice maker again. The unit was determined to be a lemon. Electrolux agreed to replace the refrigerator, and assist with repair cost. They replaced the refrigerator, and took the old one. When we asked for assistance with the cost of repair they demanded the serial/model number sticker and the original bill of sale. They were given both for the replacement. A year later the replacement refrigerator developed a pinhole in the back and began leaking water. We have now been dealing with getting a replacement for six months. At first they said they could find a replacement in our area. The appliance store that replaced the first one has a new one in their showroom. Then they said they would refund the money spent but demanded the invoice/bill of sale. We did not purchase the second refrigerator they replaced it. We do not have a bill of sale. Now they are requesting letter stating the problem, and that I take the serial/model plate from the inside of the refrigerator. When I said it is unlikely that I will be able to get it off in one piece, the representative said she knows that. All correspondence we have had with them contained the model number including the last letter on June 4, 2015. Yet, I still have to do the impossible to move to the next step. I am afraid the next step will be just another road block.

About 3 years ago we remodeled our kitchen and purchased the top model refrigerator that Electrolux had to offer. Within a year, they replaced the entire refrigerator for free because the ice maker could not be repaired. After owning the second refrigerator for a year, we began to experience problems with the ice maker again. We had to pay $250 to have the ice maker replaced. Now, another year in, we are having issues again. The ice maker has stopped producing ice again and I have had to call a serviceman to come and repair it. This is really frustrating and disappointing. I would never purchase nor recommend an Electrolux refrigerator again. Call Electroluxs customer service was fruitless.

Five years ago I remodeled my kitchen. I was talked into the top of the line Electrolux icon line and paid the price for it! Now I am again paying the price for it. Where shall I start? Hmm lets go with the overpriced refrigerator that has now almost completely fallen apart. Every shelf made with plastic fittings has now broke. Shelves are now barely holding one, drawers dont roll and stick and again, plastic parts broken and cannot be repaired. Overpriced built-in convection/microwave. Now not working as I dont want to put an additional $500.00 to repair the thing. Id rather put the money towards something worth having. Oh, and this is the second time its been repaired. Built-in convection oven electrical panel has been replaced once. Im not holding my breath. Now this morning, two of the electrical units on my flat top built-in stove have an error indicator on them. Who knows what is wrong now! All I can say is seriously, 4/4 items being in disrepair in less than five years. Well, you do the math. Do not buy any Electrolux product.

We have a whole kitchen set of Electrolux Icon appliances. Purchased in 2014. The first to go was the induction cooktop in 2017. We purchased a new one to match the rest of the appliances but the top is very dark and hard to read the display. In August of 2019 the dishwasher leaked and ruined our kitchen island and hardwood flooring. Total bill luckily covered by insurance was $30,000. The dishwasher itself was very poor quality. We had to rinse and scrub our dishes before running through the cycle. We changed brands and new dishwasher much better. Hi Now the refrigerator has rust on the inside on back panel. We’ll need to replace that. Two of the plastic drawers are broken. This will cost approximately $800 after shipping etc because we have to purchase the whole drawer and railing system etc. Outrageous!! These items have been treated very gently, only two people in the household. Very disappointed in the quality of these items.

Then 5 years into it right after the extended warranty ended there was rust discovered in the back due to a hole because it was a defective product, the tech they sent made it worse by just covering it up. I purchased a refrigerator from home depot on the 23rd and it was delivered to me on March 2. Before the delivery guy brought the fridge in he informed me that the fridge was dented and if I wanted a new one I would have to wait another week without a fridge and with a small child that was out of the question. So I decided to call Electrolux to see if I could be compensated for the fridge. I talked with ** and she told me without pictures I could have $40 off the fridge, I took pictures of both sides of the fridge and did not hear back from her. I called the next day and spoke with ** and he said I guess we can give you $60 off. I was upset with the rude comment and said that I was still unhappy and he said well what are you expecting? I was not expecting anything but would have liked to be acknowledged that what I bought was not what I received. He told me he would talk to a manager and call me back the next day, I called and spoke with him again and he said I guess we can give you the $100 off. I was very upset by the way I was being treated and said that I would just prefer to have a new fridge sent since that is what I paid for. His response was oh so now youve changed your mind, we will deliver, then hung up on me. I got no apology for the situation or any details about when the new fridge would be delivered. I am astounded by the horrible customer service this company hires. I called back after being rudely hung up on and he refused to pass me on to a manager. I called back several times after this trying to speak with a manager and not one person would help me. It is now March 20 and after going to home depot in person I got the first apology for my situation and the man working there was amazing and threatened to call head office if my issue was not resolved. Turns out ** did not give my phone number to the delivery company. Appalling, dont use this company, its not worth it

In 2011, my wife and I installed Electrolux appliances in our new home: Range model EW301S65JSA; Dishwasher model EIDW6105GS1A; Microwave model E124M0451BA; and Refrigerator model EI28BS56ISD. To say that we have been disappointed would be an understatement. Over the past 3 years we have resided in the house for approximately 20 months. During that time, every one of the appliances has failed. The refrigerator stopped making ice. An Electrolux-certified repairman replaced the control board twice, replaced a faulty solenoid once, and finally replaced the entire refrigerator with a new unit. The microwave display failed after approximately 9 months, so that we are unable to read a portion. Three days ago, the dishwasher stopped in the middle of a cycle: all lights on the pad on the top of the door remained unlit; no lights appeared on the panel behind the kick plate at the base of the unit; turning off power for 30 minutes and then turning back on produced no change. The range has occasionally beeped and flashed an F11 warning, which we have resolved by turning off power for several minutes then turning back on. Today, the F11 error and beeping appeared, and after shutting off power for 30 minutes the error continues. To summarize, every Electrolux unit we purchased has let us down. Currently, two are not functioning. We will have to pay the exorbitant cost of repair. Sadly, it seems we will have to replace the units sooner than expected, and with appliances that have a better track record than Electrolux.

Almost from the beginning this refrigerator has had problems. The ice maker continues to be non functioning as well as the interior lights. Customer Service is good at one thing saying Im sorry. I have put more money into this appliance than any other I have purchased over the past 30+ years. I purchased a new switch hoping that would resolve the lights not working, however it looks as though the board is defective. In order to fix the ice maker and the circuit board, we are looking at approximately 1500.00.At this point, I am better off to purchase another refrigerator, obviously not this brand. You spend more money on quality products and this has been one time where this wasnt the case. If you look at all the reviews, Electrolux obviously needs to go back to the drawing board because consumers arent happy and the issues seem to be the same i.e. ice maker. This refrigerator is only about 6 years old and when you spend 3500 you expect it be in good working condition for many years to come.

After cleaning up water I called the warranty company again and received a very nice lady (Pamela) and she sent someone different out. They came out and three weeks later put in a new part. Ok something wrong with email or their site. So on October 4, 2017 I decided to sent a pictures again, the same story try few times, the same reply site is not working. I contacted the local technician as per Frigidaire representative advise. Technician came in, made a picture and assure me within few days that he sent it to Frigidaire. Nothing happening. On October 24 again spoke to Frigidaire representative Quintavia and again sent the pictures, as she said that nothing is on my file. Nothing happening.Again on November 22 I spoke to Mona and again I heard that nothing is on my file, so again I resend the pictures, this time Mona called me back and confirm that she received the pictures and finally I got a case number. I was informed that the technician will have all the information from now. I spoke to technician and he told me that the new cooktop has been order and he is just waiting for its exchange, this was November 26, 2017. On December 5, technician has been still waiting for the part, on December 28 I called the Frigidaire with question when I can expect the repair to happened, and surprise I heard that nothing has been approved or ordered, and the Corporate supervisor told me that nothing can be done until January 3 2018. No apologies, no explanation, they did all properly and it seems to be my fault that I bought that range and that it is faulty. This is the worst customer service in my long life. It cost me two thousand and hours on the phone, a lot of stress. Frigidaire products are going down with quality, I am not sure, as I have a old fridge and this is one of the best, but for sure their customer service is the worst that happened to me, no one care, I felt like I was intrusion for staff and how dare I complain. Electrolux washer ruined clothes - I purchased a new washer along with the dryer and pedestals in March 2012. Washer started putting bleach stains on clothes. After ruining several pieces of clothing, I called for service. The first service call was very prompt. Because bleach was involved, the tech replaced three parts, all dealing with the dispensing of the bleach. This repair didnt work. I spoke with the service company, and they indicated that there was nothing else they could do and that this problem has happened before. So after bleaching several more pieces of clothing, I called Electrolux again. They said that they needed to send someone out again, so I told them what the repair company had said. They needed verification that the machine was not repairable. It took quite some time for this to happen. I had stopped using bleach in the machine, but somehow, it was still bleaching clothes. I would call, and nobody would get back to me. Finally, after about a month and 15 pieces of ruined clothing at a cost in excess of $800, they authorized replacement of the washer. After making sure the new washer was working properly, I attempted to get reimbursement for the damaged clothing. They had me send pictures of all the damaged articles. Again, after many calls not being returned, I finally started calling every 15 or 20 minutes and leaving a message until they got tired of having to listen to all the voice mails. They only offered $150 for all the damaged clothing. Oh yeah, I have also had to have 2 service calls on the dryer. The door wasnt closing properly.

After buying a Sears top mount refrigerator several years ago, which was made by Electrolux, we had a service technician confirm that we are missing the connecting drain tube that would have routed the dripping defrost water from the freezer to the drain pan. Because the leaking only occurred sporadically, when the freezer was defrosting, it took us awhile to figure out the problem. The insurance company for Electrolux, (Sedgewick), wouldnt look at our claim, however, unless it was verified by a Sears service tech at a cost of $96.00. We are measuring 1-4 oz. of water daily that we are forced to collect in a cup, and empty daily, to avoid any further damage to our cabinets and baseboards. The replacement part is approximately $50.00 with at least 4x that amount in additional labor to attach it.This is unacceptable; that part should have already been attached when we bought the refrigerator. We are already out $96.00 for the service call that accomplished nothing. I specifically indicated to the repair center the part that we needed and this information was never passed on to the service tech. When we documented our complaints to Electrolux, a very unhelpful, and unfriendly Claims Representative made it clear that there was nothing they would do for us. We understood that because of the age of the refrigerator they wouldnt replace it, or pay to repair our damaged baseboards, but we had hoped they would at least reimburse the service call. Rather than spend any more money on this refrigerator we are going to replace it and never buy another Electrolux product.

My husband and I redid our kitchen 5 years ago, & we were so excited to purchase the Electrolux 36 range & French door fridge as our appliances. We bought the extended warranty plan offered through Warrantech, since these are pricey appliances. We felt that they would last us for many years. Fast forward 5 years later, our range works only a few months out of the year, takes weeks to months to repair each time, and was red-tagged by the gas company on one occasion because the design flaw which causes the frequent repairs causes it to become a bomb in the kitchen. It once exploded our oven door clean open when I preheated it. Despite being repaired 3 times for the same issue, (pilot located too close to burner assembly causes burner assembly to blister open. Often just causes the pilot to be blown out instead of light, but sometimes resulting in a huge build up of gas before ignition, i.e.: bomb in the kitchen), Electrolux, through Warrantech, refused to replace our very expensive appliance. They refused to replace it because it could be fixed, ignoring the pattern of the same issue occurring every year, the enormous danger of the design flaw, & the length of time it took to repair. The part was always backordered, one would assume because they were having this issue with many other ranges. The range has now been discontinued. Electrolux also had the gall to tell us if we had bought our extended warranty through them, they would have replaced the oven after the 3rd repair. They suggested that we purchase another extended warranty through them once ours ran out. Well, that warranty ran out in Dec. 2016. In Sept., 2016, the oven had needed the same repair for the 3rd time. That repair lasted until February of 2017. Two months after our warranty ran out, the same issue occurred for the 4th time. My husband and I cannot see spending another $500 for an Electrolux warranty, when the company is clearly not standing behind their product, interested in customer satisfaction or safety. We have ordered 2 replacement parts on our own, & will attempt to fix this issue ourselves whenever it occurs. We own a dangerous, $6,000 and counting, Electrolux lemon of an oven. I implore you not to buy Electrolux appliances, especially the 36 E36GF76JPS2. Are there others of you out there like me? Lets start a class action lawsuit. Im also going to file a report with the Better Business Bureau. This is unacceptable.

ELECTROLUX IQ Touch Top Control Dishwasher #EI24ID50QS - Purchased in Augus
ELECTROLUX IQ Touch Top Control Dishwasher #EI24ID50QS - Purchased in August 2014, our Electrolux dishwasher immediately malfunctioned. The dishwasher drains intermittently and it displays an unrecognizable error code (iFo) which causes operation failure. By Jan 2015, weve had four separate manufacturer service calls and theyve yet to resolve the problem. With a lack of respect for their customers time and inconvenience, Electrolux refuses take responsibility, neither refund or replace their faulty product.

I purchased an Electrolux dishwasher from Lowes (never again). I paid 1200.
I purchased an Electrolux dishwasher from Lowes (never again). I paid 1200.00 dollars for the unit. After the first use, there was water left in the dishwasher that wouldnt drain. I called for service repair and a week later they came out to fix it and the same problem still occurred. I had to use my shop vac to remove the water. I called for the second service call and the tech advised me that I needed a new garbage disposal because food was backing up, causing the pump to burn out. I purchased a brand new disposal and had it installed. It still doesnt drain. I have been getting the run around from Electrolux and Lowes and neither company is providing me with good customer service. I requested a store credit so I could get an replacement and I was told I needed 3 service calls before it could be approved. I will never purchase another Electrolux appliance and I will never shop at Lowes again. If this matter isnt handled I will be contacting an attorney.

We built our dream house in late 2013. We purchased a washer, dryer, refrig
We built our dream house in late 2013. We purchased a washer, dryer, refrigerator, double oven, gas cooktop, dishwasher and an under counter ice maker. All ELECTROLUX. The washer is full of mold, the oven cooks unevenly, my refrigerator ice maker is unreliable - having its own mind and only sporadically makes ice. At one point after several months of use it dispensed pieces of styrofoam along with ice cubes. Have already replaced the dishwasher due to excessive service calls and mold. The latest slap in the face was my under counter ice maker just stopped working. Called Electrolux. They sent a repair person out - the service call was $145.00 - it was a crack in the propeller on the circulation pump. To replace, the estimate was about $800. It was only used a handful of times, mostly during the holidays. It will be on the curb for trash day. Electrolux products are horrible and so is their customer service department.

Double wall oven, undercounter ice maker, fridge, dishwasher and six burner
Double wall oven, undercounter ice maker, fridge, dishwasher and six burner cooktop. Problems with everything except the cooktop. Finally had to threaten contacting state Attorney General. Most have complaint forms online. I agree that they rely heavily on you purchasing an extended warranty.
