A small and simple to replace part (the latch for the dispenser drawer) broke on my EIFLW55HIW0 model washing machine. I contacted Electrolux expecting to be able to order the part. They referred me to their parts manual (which required going to the Frigidaire website). Unfortunately the part was not shown and I was told I would have to purchase the entire assembly. When I told the support person that I had no assembly that even looked like their parts diagram, they essentially said, well that is the parts diagram. There is a clearly labelled part number on the drawer assembly, but it does not match their parts diagram. In other words, although the model number is the same, the design has clearly been changed so that matching parts are no longer available. There is no part number for the part that is broken so apparently that was not considered a separate part.

It is infuriating that a company does not stand behind their product. The interior of my Electrolux refrigerator is falling apart. The plastic supports are cracked and broken, making the drawers sit askew. Freshness of food? I have spoken to customer service twice... no help. When requesting to speak to a supervisor, I was kept on hold for lengthy amount of time only to be told that no supervisor would come to the phone. No supervisor will come to the phone? Customer service?I have been told by numerous appliance retailers that Electrolux appliances are plagued with quality issues. I purchased $10,000 in Electrolux appliances in 2012. Yes, the warranty has expired. But this is NOT acceptable. The interior portion of my refrigerator should be replaced... no questions asked. That is brand support and customer service. Own the fact that there have been ongoing issues, and work to maintain a loyal customer base. That is good business. I am a business owner. I would expect my employees to take better care of my customers. ELECTROLUX should be ashamed! I feel a responsibility to share my feeling with whomever will listen. Its infuriating. You have certainly lost this customer and I feel obligated to spread the word!

Subject: Your Kitchen and Laundry Equipment in Hotel Dar Al Ghufran Makkah. This is to bring to your kind attention that Dar Al Ghufran Hotel Makkah, is one of the 5 stars hotel in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. We have purchased the entire kitchen and Laundry equipment, required for one 5 star hotel use, from Electrolux, through your dealer in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Chbib Trading Co Ltd. The purchase amount was over five million riyals. Now the equipment are over a year in use and we have few machines, i.e., dishwasher, flat ironer, meat bone saw, went out of order and Chbib was called in for check or repair. It is with regret to state that your dealer has no spare parts available with them what so ever, in order to get the machines repaired. They had to place order for the same and we have to wait until they receive these parts and the waiting period is more than a month. And that too when the equipment under warranty? Now the dishwasher is o. Again and we dont know how long your designated agent will take to bring in the spare parts when the warranty period is already over. (One year).Again dish washing machine still is out of order from 20th December till now, only due to spare parts (Frequency Inverter part # OL2601- Model # WTM 140 ERB). After long time, your dealer received the parts and now last four days they are trying to fix, but they are facing some complications with new part installation / parameter, and dish washing machine still is out of service, and I requested to Chbib provide us alternative solution to run the operation. And we buy new meat bone saw of different brand because when saw was out of order (only motor was burnt out) and your dealer was taking long time to repair it, more than two month. What is the solution to get the fast service from your dealer and we want to direct dealing to your company to get the spare parts with in minimum period. Would you imagine this how we will run the operation? This time we feel so sorry for Electrolux Company that we purchased equipment from this company, never the less; we sure will have to think twice before buying any equipment from your company (Electrolux Brand) for our any future properties coming up, or even to recommend your brand to any future Hoteliers. We eagerly wait for your response, if this is the kind of service, after sales, your company and brand provide to your customers.Once again we express our regret to have been associated with your brand.

I really wanted a super quiet dishwasher, which this is. Unfortunately, it needs to be reset frequently, doesnt clean well, sometimes decides not to use the dry cycle for no discernible reason. The stainless steel actually got a stain on it that I cannot remove. Between this and the Electrolux fridge that we dont like, I cant recommend this companys products.

Very expensive French door model purchased almost four years ago. Problems with the icemaker from almost day one. Repairman needed almost every six months. Right now, it functions, but is very NOISY - grinds when trying to make ice. I learned too late from other reviews that the icemaker never worked on the wave/touch model and there seems to be nothing the manufacturer can or will do.

We purchased a refrigerator/freezer with an automatic ice maker in the door
We purchased a refrigerator/freezer with an automatic ice maker in the door on 12/9/2013. On October 6, 2014 we needed to have the water dispenser serviced as it ran by itself every minute all evening and damaged a big area as it ran into the basement, ruining ceiling tiles. A service person replaced the dispenser module which was under warranty. This morning when we got up we found that it had again been doing the same thing and again ran into the basement damaging more ceiling tiles. Now the real problem is that Electrolux cannot find a technician that will service our area and are waiting for a call back. We found a company that would service Electrolux products but they are checking to see if they are an authorized dealer. How long do we wait for service or for a call back? I will never buy an Electrolux appliance again. The same part shouldnt break after 8 months.

I purchased an Electrolux Wave Touch Standard Depth model EW28BS85KS5 a little over two years ago. After less than a year, the Temp Perfect Drawer seized up and could not be opened. I worked with Electrolux rep to get the repair and all was covered under warranty. Either while I was waiting for repair or shortly after the repair was completed, I was contacted by and ESA representative and offered, for a price of course, an extended warranty. The representative was fully aware of the issues I had with the drawer. Since my confidence level in product quality was now low and believing the extended warranty was as comprehensive as the one year warranty, I purchased the extension. It has been a little more than a year and the drawer has the exact same issue. I contacted ESA to advise them of the recurrence. They advised me that the warranty does not cover the drawer. Only functioning parts of the refrigerator that maintain the cool temperature, the ice maker and the water dispenser. I have tried working with them, but to no success. I do not appreciate a product attribute that is designed to last only a year. I hesitate to spend the money to have it repaired again because I fear next year I will have to have it repaired again. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Updated on 09/03/2020: It is now September 3, 2020 and I have finally been able to write to 2 people at Electrolux (Mira and Melissa) about my Frigidaire Refrigerator issues. Even though I have been told the people I wrote would get back to me (5 days ago), I have heard nothing from anyone at Electrolux/Frigidaire. The staff refuse to provide contact information to anyone above Supervisor and Ive been at this since receiving this defective fridge in May 2020. I am frustrated that Ive spent so much money and wasted so much time trying to resolve issues that should not exist in a new product.Original Review: I bought a Frigidaire Professional refrigerator from HOME DEPOT who broke the door upon delivering it. They replaced it with another unit which was defective. The defective unit was replaced with a unit with defective parts again. Electrolux and HOME DEPOT insisted that it be repaired, not replaced. They sent out a tech three times then advised me that they approved a replacement weeks prior. That was on July 29, 2020. The (3rd) replacement was authorized on July 8 (without notifying me). It is now August 20, 2020 and I find myself once again on hold for over an hour to be told Sherine at HOME DEPOT cant find the information and cant help me that I need to call another dept.I called the other dept. who said I had to deal with HOME DEPOT.... Yes, I spent hours and hours calling these companies only to be placed on hold for hours and I am still having to wait for them to figure this out. My review is about the really long wait times on hold (today only it was 2hrs and 17 minutes in total), the fact that too often they dont know how to use the phone and say that there are phone system issues today. Too often they are rude and unhelpful. Consumers need to think long and hard about who they buy from. Too often big companies are buying the competition and limiting consumers options, then remove quality of service. Its time the consumer speaks up or stop buying crappy product from companies who dont care to provide care.

I have a 4 year old double wall oven that I paid a little over $3000.00 for. Every time I use the self clean function, the oven door locks and then does not unlock at the end of the cleaning cycle. Purchased $855 Whirlpool washing machine from Harvey Norman Mornington 3 weeks ago. First wash after delivery and install the house flooded. Rang customer service and next Monday a repairman arrived who said the new machine could not be repaired. Our newly laid carpets were flooded and our insurer was there on the Saturday commencing the drying process. We sustained $2k damage and had to pay $500 excess. The Electrolux company refuses our request to cover the damages or even remove the machine from the laundry! They said they may refund the machine cost if we send them a bank statement to verify our identity. Next stop is ACCC. This treatment by Electrolux seems endemic from all the reviews.

The refrigerator had a recall and because we did not know about it we did not act on the issue. 18 months later the ice maker went bad on our refrigerator and they said they could not honor the claim. Is there a zero star rating? I am extremely dissatisfied in my Electrolux refrigerator. It is just over two years old and have had to have the main computer board replaced (twice) and the evaporator fan to the tune of $1,000! This should be under warranty for a minimum of 3-5 years for these major parts. Model Number is E23BC68JPS5. We bought the Electrolux washer and dryer that said it had fast wash and fast dry. We were planning to buy Samsung as we had this brand before and it worked great. We went to Bad Boys and they persuaded us to buy this brand mainly because of the fast wash and dry features. The washer was fine but the dryers fast dry feature does not work at all. Garbage. We told Bad Boys that we were not happy and they sent someone to take a look. They said that there was nothing wrong with it and that that is how it was. Neither Electrolux or Bad boys did anything further to help us. We spent over $6000 in appliances and no help at all regarding this issue. Terrible customer services on both parts. We will NEVER ever buy this brand again.

Electrolux washer ruined clothes - I purchased a new washer along with the dryer and pedestals in March 2012. Washer started putting bleach stains on clothes. After ruining several pieces of clothing, I called for service. The first service call was very prompt. Because bleach was involved, the tech replaced three parts, all dealing with the dispensing of the bleach. This repair didnt work. I spoke with the service company, and they indicated that there was nothing else they could do and that this problem has happened before. So after bleaching several more pieces of clothing, I called Electrolux again. They said that they needed to send someone out again, so I told them what the repair company had said. They needed verification that the machine was not repairable. It took quite some time for this to happen. I had stopped using bleach in the machine, but somehow, it was still bleaching clothes. I would call, and nobody would get back to me. Finally, after about a month and 15 pieces of ruined clothing at a cost in excess of $800, they authorized replacement of the washer. After making sure the new washer was working properly, I attempted to get reimbursement for the damaged clothing. They had me send pictures of all the damaged articles. Again, after many calls not being returned, I finally started calling every 15 or 20 minutes and leaving a message until they got tired of having to listen to all the voice mails. They only offered $150 for all the damaged clothing. Oh yeah, I have also had to have 2 service calls on the dryer. The door wasnt closing properly.

I bought Refrigerator and Freezer twins at Max Center on 13-02-11, both with one-year warranties. Upon installation by Electrolux technicians the next day, the freezer had a thumping sound and ice formations inside the door. We called the technicians who came several times, made some installations on the door, but never resolved the problems. Lately, Electrolux does not answer our calls, and we are unable to have this problem corrected, or receive a new freezer. The freezer has an air leak which has not been corrected and Electrolux has offered no new solution or help.

My husband and l completely remodeled our kitchen 5 years ago and wanted top of the line appliances. I thought by buying Electrolux appliances, l was making a good choice but soon realized l got rid of better appliances than what we had bought. I had always had Whirlpool appliances before and never had repairs. I have had problems with all four appliances and most recently am facing major repairs to the frig and microwave. I already had repairs to the dishwasher when two pumps had to be replaced and the range required a new circuit board. My extended warranty ended in March of this year so the expense will be on us not to mention the aggravation of getting top of the line appliances repaired AGAIN. I plan on contacting the company but according to the other complaints, l doubt if Electrolux will be of any help.

Purchased top of the line Electrolux dishwasher in 2010 (cost a fortune) and have cursed the dishwasher each and every time I took the dishes out after washing. Nothing ever came out sparkling clean from the first day I used it. The water never was hot enough because the dishwasher didnt have a heating coil to heat the water to a temperature that would give excellent results. I dropped the extended warranty and prayed and hoped it would break down and sure enough 6 years later it did just that. It was the happiest day of my dishwashing life. I promptly went out and bought a Kitchen-aid mid-range dishwasher with 3 drawers. An upper flat rack for utensils and the dishwasher is wonderful. No more Electrolux for me ever.

We bought a new home in 2015. By new, I mean just built. It came with the Electrolux ICON appliances. These appliances are not worth the money. They are poorly constructed and have been repaired several times. They even have safety defects. The Gas cooktop is poorly designed and a danger to all that own it. It needs to be recalled. The burners are placed too far forward and make it impossible to use the front burners. The flames from the burners extend too far out from the base and can easily catch your clothes on fire. The knobs on the gas cook top also turn on by mistake. They easily turn and leak gas if you lightly brush against them. Kids can easily turn them on. These are a real safety issue and need to be recalled. The ICON dishwasher has been a nightmare. It does not dry the dishes and the control panel is always going out. It just starts flickering and has to be replaced. The fridge is ok but the ice and water dispenser are poorly designed and always leave ice and water falling on the floor. They really need to recall the gas cook top. Parents beware!!!

Purchased high end (what a joke) Electrolux appliances. Turned out to be thinly disguised Frigidaire appliances. What a mistake. Fridge ice maker kept failing. Service guy told me Electrolux would send him out 3-5 times then would replace the fridge believe it was 4 times, but even then it took a couple of hours discussing the issue with Frigidaire warranty department. They tried to pull the its out of warranty excuse because it was just over a year. The new fridge has a different ice maker but still periodically must be defrosted and the milk self broke. The microwave needed a new display board, then 6 months later shorted out because it had been improperly painted which allowed it to arc. Even though it was out of warranty by about 6 months they finally agree to replace, but not install a new unit. The plastic impeller on the dishwasher failed. The service tech advised me to wash the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. The stove has failed and needed a $600 controlled board. It has now failed again. Junk.

In 2008, we purchased all Electrolux products from Lowes. BIG MISTAKE. The plastic shelves break. The dishwasher had the mother board fail immediately. I would never recommend these appliances! Lowes is no help and Electrolux customer service has no ability to assist in persistent issues. They just say that I am out of warranty. Our gas grill is our back up when we need oven/cook top.

We purchased new front loading washer and dryer this winter for our new home. 6 months of use and the washer stopped draining. Warranty service tech came out and found the drain line plugged deep inside the machine. To fix he had to remove the top and front of the machine to get to a plastic inline bowl that he said is prone to becoming plugged. We have a lab and he said we need to shake out everything before washing as the dogs hair will clog the machine. This repair is not for the amateur and if it wasn’t under warranty it would have been about $240. Can’t believe the poor design and difficult accessibility to do routine cleaning. Our dog is 8 years old and we’ve never had a problem like this. Will think twice about buying another one when the time comes.

I bought an expensive Electrolux refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher in 2012. So far I have required repairs on the dishwasher (control panel went dead); stove (would not self clean) and the refrigerator has broken plastic that holds up the bins; very hard to remove drawers and put back in for cleaning. The bin handles you pull out are broken on at least 3 drawers. I bought these online thinking if I paid a very high price I would get quality - WRONG. I believe the cheap builders appliances would have been better than the Electrolux fix and repair too often.

I purchased a high end set of kitchen appliances (through Sears Canada) in 2009 - an Electrolux fridge and a top of the line electric range/oven. After 5 years, the fridge literally started to fall apart. The faux aluminum strips on the exterior of the fridge starting falling off and the ice making unit ceased working completely and the inside seal on the door was failing. Sears was very helpful but Electrolux was a complete and utter disaster to deal with. After investing a tremendous amount of time and energy in getting them to step up and deal with their inferior product issues, we were given a nominal credit towards buying another Electrolux fridge. Guess what? Within 9 months, we experienced similar product quality issues and made the decision to get rid of it and replace it with KitchenAid fridge which has been performing flawlessly since day one.Next, the oven stopped working. The burners were not functioning at all. Electrolux herded us over to a local service provider who indicated that this kind of problem was a common theme across the Electrolux high end oven product line. The service technician indicated that he would be unable to isolate the specific problem (we kept getting the e15 code of death). He recommended replacing a component for over $500 but warned us that there was a possibility that this would not necessarily rectify the problem - and if it didnt, we would need to spend a further $1100 to replace a circuit board of some sort. Guess what? The fix didnt work. We contacted Electrolux customer service and after numerous discussions they relented and offered us 20% off, as a sign of good faith, a new one. Really??? Do you actually think that I would buy another one of their products after 3 of them failed inside of 6 years? This is the worst, and I mean worst, product quality issue that I could ever imagine encountering. Never, ever, ever again.

When reading the following please keep in mind that all of it occurs from 1
When reading the following please keep in mind that all of it occurs from 1/13/16 through 1/3/17 - a period of less than 1 year. During this period, service technicians were at our house 13 times! In addition to that time, we also spent HUNDREDS of hours on the phone with Electrolux, Frigidaire and appliance repair companies. We purchased from Sears a Frigidaire standalone freezer. The freezer was less than 1 year old when problems started which didnt bode well for the future so we purchased a 3-year extended warranty from Electrolux which handles the warranties for Frigidaire. The freezer continually developed icicles inside the door, the drain continued to freeze and condensation had nowhere to go, so thick sheets of ice then formed and built up on the bottom of the freezer to the extent that the slide-out drawer was frozen solid and could not be utilized until the frost-free freezer was defrosted to release the drawer. This required that we find a place for all of the food that was in the freezer while it defrosted. At one point the freezer stopped (while we were out of town) and we came home to more than $1,000 of food loss and a smell that still is not completely gone. Of course, that loss was not covered by Electrolux or Frigidaire. The extended warranty covers replacement of the appliance as a lemon if a part fails at least 3 times AND a repair tech says it cant be fixed. Electrolux was able to string us along for more than a year because each time a tech came out for the SAME PROBLEM, they tried to fix it by replacing a different PART and the lemon protection only applies if the SAME PART fails 3 times. (Several parts were replaced 2 times.) So they kept replacing different parts to fix the same problem and none of it worked. The first repair company finally told Electrolux, they couldnt correct the problem and were not going to keep coming out, so Electrolux assigned another company to pursue the problem. That was equally unsuccessful so they tried a third repair company. That third company also told Electrolux the freezer was not able to be fixed. Most service calls required multiple visits because the tech would come out, decide what part needed to be replaced but NEVER had the part in their vehicle so they had to go back and the part had to be ordered requiring another visit for the same service call. The parts almost never came in when expected and the repair companies rarely called to say the parts were in - so we always had to do the follow-up. Several times a single service call required 3, 4 and once even 5 trips to our house because the tech needed a different part, or there were supposed to be 2 parts but the tech showed up with only one, etc. Each trip required us to be at home and therefore we had to arrange our schedules to accommodate the technician. And we had to be available for a minimum of 4 hours because they only give you a window during which a tech will arrive and it was not unusual that the tech was running behind and wouldnt make it during the 4 hour window. On one occasion, the appointment was supposed to be between 8:00 and 12:00 and the tech finally showed up at 7:30 pm - almost 12 hours after the start of the 4-hour window. We eventually contacted state agencies, which then contacted Electrolux/Frigidaire on our behalf. Electrolux made the following offer: For a delivery/removal charge of $150, they would replace the lemon freezer with the EXACT SAME MODEL and, OUR WARRANTY WAS NOT VALID FOR THE NEW FREEZER even though there were still 2 years on the warranty we had already purchased. WE WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER PRODUCT FROM SEARS. We will never purchase an Electrolux or Frigidaire appliance. Choose your appliance carefully!

I purchased a new Electrolux slide in range with a self cleaning oven in 2010. At the time I also purchased an extended warranty and am so glad that I did. Since then every time I clean the oven using the self cleaning feature, the oven comes out spotless and then refuses to work. Each time it has been repaired it has needed a new motherboard. The technicians say it is a common problem that they encounter with this model range. I love the range, it is a ceramic top...easy to clean... easy to use. I simply would like the oven to work as it is meant to. This was a $3000 range and I have been very disappointed in the design flaw of the self clean feature.

I bought a Bosch DW, had it installed and then discovered that it didnt have a rinse-only cycle! So, I went back to the store, upgraded to an Electrolux and had the two switched out (with extra unintended expense, by the way, as the Electrolux was just a bit taller and required that I have floor tile removed - and reinstalled - in order for it to fit). That was 4 years ago. I purchased the extended warranty, just in case. But before the original warranty expired, Id had problems with glassware being cloudy, and with a garbage odor inside the dishwasher any time used the rinse-only cycle. (I always scrape dishes before I put them in for rinsing.) Repairman could never find the reason for the odor; plumber verified that the installation was correct and no crimp in the drain line. Odor continued. After another complaint, this time because some items on the top shelf remained dirty, repairman noted that the upper spray arm was catching on the wand that supported it. Fixed it, but have had intermittent similar problems. Had not called for repair, mainly due to the inconvenience of scheduling and needing to be home for the visit, but also because of some health issues that for a while diverted my attention. Now, after a few months of finding one or two items on the top shelf looking as if hot water never reached them, I called once more. Surprise! My extended warranty expired last year!!! (Upon checking, I find that the e.w. on my Electrolux oven has expired, as well.) I was never notified of the need to renew either warranty! The customer service rep with whom I spoke about this earlier this week admitted that there had been a problem with their notification system, but suggested that I had the responsibility of keeping up with that sort of thing!! I will NEVER purchase another Electrolux product, which, by the way is nothing more than a dressed-up Frigidaire. I have Frigidaire front-loading washer and dryer, which I hate (washer door will not close properly and dryer never has dried sheets or towels on the first cycle!) and about which repairmen just make excuses. Stupid me, I didnt know that both brands were essentially the same. Bottom line, count me totally dissatisfied with both labels!!

We purchased 4 Electrolux kitchen appliances, a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and range 10 years ago. Wanted all my appliances to match. The range worked except the oven panel on the bottom started to bubble. I called to get it replaced and they told me it wasnt made anymore so I had to live with it. After 2 years the microwave broke and had to replace it, 3 years later the microwave broke again and had to buy another. Then 4 years went by, and the refrigerator broke down completely! Of course, I kept saying - I want them to all match so we bought a new refrigerator. Well about 6 months later, you guessed it, the microwave broke. That was our third one. When I called to see if it could be fixed or replace the panel found out it was so expensive had to buy another. When speaking to customer support I happen to mention about my oven panel. Said yes, they did have a replacement so I ordered it in February. About a month ago it started to bubble just like the last one. Last week I called them and said had to pay for another. Which I will not do. Have not mentioned my dishwasher because I dont use it!! Sure it would break if I did. Hope you were able to read this long experience. In 10 years I have had 3 microwaves, 2 refrigerators and a oven panel that looks terrible. All Electrolux!!! Terrible!!!

About 3.5 years ago we totally remodeled our kitchen. We purchased a double oven, warmer, stove top, and two dishwashers. One dishwasher needed a pump replaced after six months. After the warranty expired both dishwashers started to develop problems. They would not totally drain. I had both serviced at different times and the same problem continues. The service mechanic called customer service to see if there was a recall and was told no and that they werent aware of a major problem. When running they are very silent but are not worth the problems or repair costs. I would not repurchase an Electrolux product again. Strongly considering returning dishwashers to front of store where purchased, calling the news media to watch me take a hammer to the items to show my dissatisfaction, costly but very gratifying.

We bought Electrolux Icon Appliances for our kitchen 6 years ago. This was a costly mistake. I wish we never would have purchased the items. Should have bought GE Profile instead. Within the first year, we had the dishwasher and oven fixed. Now 6 years later, and my fridge ice maker doesnt work. The oven does not heat evenly and the stove burners expel too much gas, causing a huge flame when started. I am so frustrated. We were told that this was the top of the line appliances. NEVER BUY ELECTROLUX!!! First know that I have previously purchased other products. GE that have lasted 2.5 times longer, no repairs and still running!! I decided to buy two higher END APPLIANCES thinking they would serve us well and add value to our home. WRONG! My refrigerator ice maker never worked properly. Finally I had it checked and repaired for about $600.00. Not many people service these products. Now the dishwasher broke! I called for assistance and they could not help me fix it (I removed the cover directed) then I said I will not pay for this to be fixed. They offered 50% off of parts to repair. I am in business. Parts are marked up at least 3 to 5 times the cost. So they are still making money. I said, fine, as long as I do not pay for service. They replied, cant help you there. Well, how insulting so I could be on the hook for a $300-$600 service call plus 50% of parts! I said, I am fair lets do this, Ill pay for the first $100 in service and 50% of parts. That is fair. If this product wasnt a bad product major repairs would not be necessary. So they could have used the money they would have made on the parts to pay for the balance of the service call. Please note we are a small household. Mother, Grandmother and daughter. These products are not overused or abused! NEVER BUY ELECTROLUX...ITS A WASTE OF MONEY!! IT WILL NOT LAST! THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS! It is not that things cannot go wrong, but its how you handle it, that really tells the story. I was more than reasonable and they still wanted to insult me.

Purchased a Electrolux Refrigerator Model #EW288S715A. Ice maker stopped working about 6 months after install. Electrolux tried and send us a new refrigerator. Within a few months the ice maker went again. Electrolux said they would sell us another new one for 40% off the retail price. Its a good thing we didnt do that deal - I have since learned that the refrigerator that they would have sold us would have had the same problem. So no ice-maker in a $4000 CDN appliance and after a few years an error message appeared on the panel.Found out that the problem with the ice maker has now caused more serious problems with the guts of the refrigerator from water damage caused by poor insulation that will cost us almost $900 CDN and will probably fail again in the near future. Electrolux know this is a problem but are not reaching out to their customers to tell them what to do - basically the company has stuck their heads in the sand hoping that purchasers of this product dont get together and go after them. I am working on starting a class action suit. Electrolux is one of the largest appliance manufacturers in the world and are abusing their clients with incredibly bad designed products. Stay away from Electrolux. I was told that Bosch makes a fairly good refrigerator.

We built our dream house in late 2013. We purchased a washer, dryer, refrigerator, double oven, gas cooktop, dishwasher and an under counter ice maker. All ELECTROLUX. The washer is full of mold, the oven cooks unevenly, my refrigerator ice maker is unreliable - having its own mind and only sporadically makes ice. At one point after several months of use it dispensed pieces of styrofoam along with ice cubes. Have already replaced the dishwasher due to excessive service calls and mold. The latest slap in the face was my under counter ice maker just stopped working. Called Electrolux. They sent a repair person out - the service call was $145.00 - it was a crack in the propeller on the circulation pump. To replace, the estimate was about $800. It was only used a handful of times, mostly during the holidays. It will be on the curb for trash day. Electrolux products are horrible and so is their customer service department.

We purchased approx. $10K worth of new Electrolux appliances for our new home. The old home was blown away last year by a tornado. Purchased dishwasher, electric double ovens, electric cooktop, microwave oven, side by side refrigerator, and front load washer & dryer. All were top of the line that Electrolux offers. Dishwasher malfunctioned on first use. Sent out an error code #3. Was unable to contact Electrolux at the customer support site, so the wife called during working hours. The person she spoke with said turn it off at the breaker. That got the error code to go away, but it leaks out the front door now.Washer would not complete its cycle on its 1st, 2nd, & 3rd attempt. We got a service man scheduled to come out. Still having to do laundry at our daughters house. Tried to register my products online for over an hour, but their site would not complete the transactions. I find this product and customer support to be of poor quality even though it is marketed as top of the line. I would strongly recommend anyone to reconsider before buying Electrolux products. Oh yes, I tried to take their customer survey online, but that would not function either. Needless to say, I will never ever buy an Electrolux product again.

I bought Electrolux dryer EFMG627UTT recently on Sep 18. Dryer is taking too long to dry and customer service is poor. They already change the motherboard board and temp sensor. The predictive dry is stupid feature and not working good. The empty dryer with no load is running 1 hr and they claim that it can sense the load and moisture and predict accurately the running time. Means it should stop cycle in few min when load and moisture is 0. But still it predicts 57 min and running for 57. Technicians Jose says it is normal and per tech specification and when I asked what is the tech spec, he said he dont know. None of them in customer care knows that spec. Purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator at BrandsMart. A month or so later I received warranty offer to extend the warranty. I paid for it in December 2016 and forgot about it. Then at the end of January I received another invoice from same people for same appliance. I paid it not remembering that I had already paid it in December. I called the customer service line to ask why another invoice had been sent, and the customer service rep said... oh that happens all the time and you will probably get another invoice in the mail. This sounded like a very common occurrence, so I said well I paid it and should not have done so. I called my bank to stop payment on the check I wrote for a duplicate payment. Then in February I get a letter from Electrolux that I owed them $30 as a fee for the stop payment. When I called them, they insisted that I should not have done that as they processed it as if I wanted to extend the warranty out further to 6 years. What! Same bill for same period, why would I extend a 3 year warranty to 6 years when it is not even indicated as an option on the invoice? When on the invoice it only indicates up to a 3 year warranty! It all sounds like fraud to me. The extra invoices sent out trying to get people to double pay, charging a fee for stopping a duplicate payment. It seems that this is a very dishonest organization, and no one seems to care how they treat their customers.

As part of a luxury kitchen renovation we chose Electrolux appliances. Built in refrigerator with matching built in freeze, double ovens and induction cooktop. The freezer broke within the first year and it was like pulling teeth to get someone to service it. Electrolux would not stand behind their product and while waiting for parts it just started working again. We lost all our food twice. Its worked since then but often freezes up inside and often has a huge amount of condensate on the exterior. Similar issues with the fridge. They replaced the gasket on the door which did not make a difference other than now I have a gasket that isnt fully attached. Most recently the induction top died. Three weeks to get a service tech here and it is going to cost $ 1,100 to fix a three year old cooktop. Thank God we have one year manufacturers warranty and purchased additional four-year warranty from Lowes because this machine is a lemon. Problems started following amateurish installation by Lowes. It has only been in use for six months in a two-adult household. No demanding tasks; never overloaded or abused in any way. It is junk. Early on, it began to have failures of all kinds; excessive vibration and noise; six repair visits; one repair required the machine to be in the shop for five days while the inner drum, outer drum, bearing, and rollers were replaced. Sensors failed, door gasket failed, trim ring replaced, feet replaced. Repairman says that Electrolux and Lowes never replace appliances, no matter how needful. Cant wait to see what fails next.

I had a high end Electrolux dishwasher (5 years old) that needed a new pump. I purchased one through Electrolux that took 20 days to arrive and it arrived with the connecting piece broken in 2 pieces. When I called to report this, I was told I needed a service person to come to my house to verify riptide was actually broken (it was against their policy to either take my word or to accept pictures from me). The service company to whom they had referred me sent 5 faxes to document the damage - they had to send 5 times because Electrolux could not find the incoming fax (they said they get hundreds - great system) or they needed more info. By now I was getting extremely close to Thanksgiving - desperate for a dishwasher. They refused to send a new pump overnight so I accepted they would send by 2 days and rescheduled repair for a Saturday. Then on Friday the assistant to the CEO (!) told me she canceled my shipment because the documentation on the damaged pump had discrepancies. She accused me of faking the paperwork and also accused the service company of fraud. What possible motive would we have for faking that I received a broken pump?? After an amazingly insulting and frustrating experience with Electrolux I went and bought a new Kitchenaid dish easier today. WOULD NEVER CONSIDER ANOTHER ELECTROLUX PRODUCT.

We purchased an Electrolux washer (and dryer) - our first Electrolux brand
We purchased an Electrolux washer (and dryer) - our first Electrolux brand of major appliance. We are normally careful to read reviews and check the brand out. All the reviews regarding the product features and benefits were strong. Never having had a problem with all laundry appliances we have purchased over the last 20 years or so, we failed to check the feedback on quality and service. Did check with friends and family with Electrolux laundry appliances - and they had performance concerns but did not have any service issues. Within the first 9 months, the washer developed a bottom leak (which I now see is a common problem). We are not high volume users, doing about 4 to 6 loads every month. Upon calling Electrolux, it seems that the authorized service agent in my area (the greater Boston area) can only come out 2 weeks from the day I called. Since this is the only way I can have my appliance repaired and the cost covered under the manufacturers warranty, I accepted the appointment. I think that it is reasonable to expect a problem free first year (or longer for an appliance that costs as much), as has been our experience over the last 20+ years. And, if it seems that this is a common issue, and likely a manufacturing defect. In my view, the manufacturer should stand behind their reputation and provide extended warranty coverage to address known manufacturing defects while fixing the issue in their design and production. If this were a car, I am quite sure there would be a recall to fix the problem at no cost to the owner. Fortunately, the damage caused by the water leaking is not major in our case. Nonetheless, it is not usable as it is for an extended period. So, families who may have the washer installed where there is potential for water leakage damage or who cannot function without a washer for a couple of weeks (or more), or who may not want to incur the additional maintenance costs - may wish to exclude this brand from their consideration.

We remodeled our kitchen several years ago and replaced our dishwasher, refrigerator and slide-in range/oven with Electrolux appliances. All three have required significant repairs or replacement. The dishwasher has failed twice and has “irreparable problem”. The wire that holds the door open in various position is connected to a molded plastic fitting in the frame. The fitting breaks off the molded plastic frame. The machine is build on and that’s that’s, you need a new dishwasher. After two years of service we received a $200. Credit toward our next $1,000+ machine. The fancy range we bought had a valve fail and that was $400. And the ice maker failed in the fridge. That was $350 for half an ice maker that now sounds like it’s grinding up glaciers. No more Electrolux for us!

Soap will not dispense and load will be soaking wet. Must wash flat sheet and fitted sheet separate. All loads must be 4-5 small pieces only - Tech agreed this a problem. When I called, they saw his notes but did not have any plans outlined to fix this. It sounds as though this is not broken, but actually just the way their product works). We referred this style ref to friends who purchased after we did; they evidently have the upgraded ref w/ ice maker and love the product. That being said, I would not purchase an Elux ref EVER again and their contracted service technicians are paid very little - they are not paid for additional visits. A losing proposition for techs and then ultimately, us as consumers.

When you set the oven to a pre-heat setting the oven heats up to that temperature but it doesnt maintain that temp and the temp begins to fall. Called Electrolux and they recommended a repair company and they came. They replaced the heat sensor for over $200.00 in repairs. No fix. Then called another company on our own and he replaced the motherboard, still no fix. My wifes first cousin (with my help) took the oven out of the cabinet and he found that the heating element at the bottom of the oven burnt up. Replaced that heating element and now the oven works just fine. Electrolux wanted to sell me an extended warranty on the oven for $500.00, not solving the problem. Electrolux customer services is PP even though youre paying top dollar for their product.

I purchased the wave touch dishwasher ($1200.), the microwave ($600.), and the French door ice maker fridge ($2,999.) since 2009. The dishwasher was replace immediately for leaking. Now it makes a noise while running, where before you never heard it run. We have mold that builds up it, we have to take it apart, use brushes to clean the racks. I think that should be a liability for knowing my dishes are being washed with mold build-up. Disgusting. The ice maker has been replaced so many times I gave up counting. Sad part we heard the same thing, yes, we know that is a malfunction in the design of the ice maker. The ice clumps to the front of the bin, starts making a thumping noise & I have to empty so it will make new ice. Thank goodness we purchased the extended 4 yr warranty. The microwave ($600.) the latch that closes the door broke, so you cant use the thing & we had to tape it shut to keep the door from staying open. My daughter purchased their oven ($1200.) & the electronic board went out on it. Thank goodness they purchased the extended warranty. I would never tell my worst enemy to purchase any Electrolux appliance. I insisted on this product & have been unhappy since. We purchased them before retiring (knowing we would be on a limited income), hoping we would be good for at least 20 yrs, so much for that with these products. Please never buy any of their appliances, you will regret it.

Unfortunately they say my fridge is one month past the warranty even their service company wrote letter and told them this problem start from months before almost from start. They are not answering my phone call. Im keep leaving massage but they not calling me back and angry and disappointed.

I purchased four stainless steel Electrolux kitchen appliances (refrigerator, stove, microwave & dishwasher) from EBA in Brooklyn, They were the digital models which cost more and the appliances were displayed in the show room as a package deal. OVEN: The oven is very inconvenient to cook in because there is little room to keep both racks in the oven if you cook something like a turkey, you need to take one of the racks out. You cant cook multiples things in the oven because the ball bearing oven rack (which was one of the salesmans selling point for this oven) take up too much room. Now the rack is stuck and cannot be used in the oven at all. Also, the most important issue is that when you use the stove the knobs (which are also stainless steel) become extremely HOT to the touch. I spoke with EBA/PC Richard and explained the problem. They suggested I contact Electrolux directly. Customer Services response was that they were sorry I was unhappy but that is normal to have the knobs be hot to the touch. Microwave: The plastic handle on the microwave has broken off twice already. Electrolux does nothing to honor their products or try to accommodate the customer at all. I tell everyone that will listen to me - NEVER PURCHASE ANY PRODUCTS FROM ELECTROLUX whatsoever.

My husband and I purchased our Electrolux fridge last November 2014. We chose it because it has a fairly reasonable price compared to other competitors like Samsung and LG. It was our first time trying out this brand and we were not disappointed. Our fridge is almost 2 years old now and it did not give us any headache. It's very spacious and cools greatly. There were also ice trays included in the fridge so that's a plus. It's also very easy to clean and it has a very sleek design! Would recommend to others for sure!

I really have no complaints regarding my front load Electrolux washer but I do have a complaint about the extended warranty! The clip which locks the front load door of the washer broke in half. I called Electrolux on Saturday of Labor Day Weekend. They said they could not get a repair person until Friday, Sept. 11th. They gave me the name and phone number of the repair service who would be coming to repair the washer. I called them three days prior to the service call and told them what was wrong with the washer as I did not want to wait another week for them to tell me they had to order the part and to give them my cell phone number since I would be at work when they called to confirm. I got home late Thursday nite and there was a message confirming the service call for Friday. I called, left a message with my cell phone number and asked that they give me a time frame for the service call and again explained what was wrong with the washer. She said she would have to call me back and let me know if they could get the part. She called back and, of course, they did not have and could not get the part! I was very annoyed since I purposely called them to let them know the problem, as that was the only problem with the washer. I admit that I was irritated, and did raise my voice somewhat, and was told they would not come at all since I was already aggravated! I called Electrolux, they told me that there was nothing that I could do or they could do and that I will have to wait for another repairman (another week). And that if they did not want to order the part in advance that was their choice. That they could come look at the machine, decide what is wrong and I would have to wait if they do not have the part.

We have already spent at least 20 hours following every Electrolux procedure to the letter, regardless of how inane the reasoning only to finally be denied a solution. It is the same story about the defective ice makers they designed and installed in thousands of refrigerators a few years back. Bottom line - We would pay for parts but since the ice maker cant be fixed there is nothing we can do for you. Yes we bought $6000 worth of Electrolux products when remodeled our kitchen and they made a defective product but its on us. Thank you very much. They said they dont care about negative Internet reviews because only unhappy people post - not happy ones. Brilliant! So, we vote with our wallet and words. Never buy an Electrolux or any brand by that company and tell as many people as possible. So, when they hire a consultant to find out why the stock is down maybe they will discover these communications and determine that it does matter to try to protect rational consumer relationships.

We have a very big Electrolux fridge at our parents' house. We've had about 3 different refrigerators in the past 25 years and hands down it's the best we've ever had. The freezer is so cold that it takes less than an hour and a half for tap water to become ice. It's even colder than my ex's heart, LOL. The fridge itself is also very spacious. We never run out of space for food considering the fact that my mom has a tendency to hoard food in the ref for weeks. Everything stays nice and fresh when it's put inside our Electrolux fridge. Being that Electrolux is not really a popular refrigerator brand here (or anywhere I think), I would definitely recommend others to give it a try. You won't be disappointed!

I purchased an expensive fridge from Electrolux. The ice maker never worked. The repair people came out countless times. Repair people told me the ice maker is unfixable. I paid for an extended warranty being told that I could get a replacement for my fridge if it broke down 3 times within the year. When the break downs continued, the repairman told me that they are not allowed to report the appliance irreparable & that they are obligated to continue to try to repair it even though that is not possible. Electrolux basically never has any intention of honoring a warranty with a new appliance. It is all a big scam to get you to pay more money & them not be on the hook for a bad product. Very disappointing from a supposed high end appliance company. The customer service there is a joke and will be so frustrating to deal with. You will want to throw your fridge out the window. They will lie to you point blank about multiple things. Too long of a list to name. FYI my fridge has been the subject of a class action because it has been proven this ice maker is bunk and does not work. But under the class action of course you get nothing -- like $100. Nothing compared to the aggravation or the cost of a new fridge.

Bought Electrolux dishwasher Feb. 2013. So far, three visits from repair man. Even though I listed all of my complaints, repairman said there was nothing wrong with my dishwasher, and left without doing anything. Next visit decides control board is bad. Get new control board, works fine. Serviceman leaves and next day, dishwasher doesnt work, and noticed middle arm hits top basket. This is why top glasses never got clean. Repair man needs to return 4th time because pump does not work. But he needs to see for himself, thus will need to come back 5th time, before one year is up.

We purchased an Electrolux Slide-in Induction Range 3 years ago. It has been brilliant and we LOVE the induction technology. Induction cooking is best weve ever experienced. However, it suddenly stopped working and required an $800 part to fix. Turned out the part didnt solve the problem and Im on the hook for the part and still have a stovetop that doesnt work. Electrolux originally said theyd try and help with repairs but have since said no, told us to buy an extended warranty and basically said it was our choice to purchase the part or not. I wouldnt buy any product from this company, based solely on their abysmal customer service. When you spend over $3000 on a product, you expect it to last more than 3 years and companies that require you to purchase extended warranties clearly dont have much faith in their products.

I purchased a complete set of ICON Electrolux appliances just over 10 month
I purchased a complete set of ICON Electrolux appliances just over 10 months ago. The first time we used the dishwasher, the control panel kept displaying a code 11 that indicated a drain valve issue. I contacted the customer service department and they referred me to a service company to come and review the issue. The service tech had no idea what he needed to do, and advised me that it was not an issue with the appliance, but an installation issue and advised there was nothing he could do. I then contacted a plumber at my own cost and was advised by a 25-year experienced plumber that there was nothing wrong with the installation and to contact Electrolux back to get a second opinion from another service tech. I contacted Electrolux back and after many complaints, they finally sent a different service company to review the product. The new service tech finally advised that the issue was due to the faulty computer board, which he advise Electrolux to replace. Electrolux then advised that the dishwasher I purchased was no longer available and the store which I purchased from gave me a refund. I then decided to give Electrolux another chance and purchased their product. Recently, I used the self-clean on my Electrolux ICON stove and when the self-clean was complete, I opened the stove and noticed the door window had dirty film in between the glass and there were two size toony marks on right and left side of the door. I wiped it with a damp cloth and pieces of the material started chipping off. I sent an email to their customer service department and they advised there was nothing they can do as their guarantee only covers working parts and not visual ones. I could not believe that I received such an email from a high-end company.

Weve had these appliances for about five years now. Weve had major service on the refrigerator at least four times. The ice maker has been replaced twice and is currently not working, the drawer guides on the main drawer in the refrigerator area have had to be replaced and the temp sensor had to be replaced. The spring on the dishwasher door broke off its mounting plate, the door handle broke off of the microwave, and a year later the entire door assembly has fallen apart. We bought our Zen vacuum cleaner in fall 2016, the main selling point being that it was claimed to be the most silent vacuum cleaner in the world. Well, it was silent for the first weeks. Then, there was this loud squeaky noise when vacuuming carpets. Turned out there was an air leak around the fitting of the tube in the handle due to cheap plastic that wears out in no time. Also turned out that the two year warranty did not cover the tube, which was only covered by 6 months. Within these 6 months we had the tube replaced three times, but to what use? The construction itself is wrong in combination with poor material, and it will wear out again no matter how many times you replace the part. This flaw also applies to the built-in nozzle holders that are too weak to hold the nozzle/tube in place. It keeps falling out making noise and waking up the children. Zen is anything but the most silent vacuum cleaner. One more thing while I am at it, the buttons! They are designed for the sake of design, but are absolute useless. Lets just say that the power button of Zen combines the versatility of traditional buttons, and the tactility of a touch screen. Press it and behold, nothing happens! In short, vacuum cleaners from Electrolux may look (and sound) good at a first glance, but the quality is a disgrace for Swedish engineering.

We bought a $3700 refrigerator for our new home, the ice makers kept breaking. I was told I would get a $500 rebate from Electrolux if I bought this model! At Northern Appliance in Braintree is where I was told this and it was on the card on the Refrigerator. I got a service contract for 4 years! Ice maker defects computers replaced. After the first refrigerator I had only 1 and 1/2 years the ice makers died, it was covered by the contract, this was top of the line. After Electrolux told me it was being replaced I called a company to take it away. They said they kept it for themselves. I got the replacement and it was a used or way less value Refrigerator. I called. They said that is what I get! If you can believe it 2 more defective refrigerators and a quote a few service calls from Apollo appliance Brockton Ma. They are very good! The one I have now the ice maker is still broken. I was told the motor is too close to the ice maker, melts it in the back and it breaks. This is unacceptable for an expensive refrigerator. Im writing this with 5 years of experience watching my appliances fail. It started with the warping of the pan in the built-in range and then the failure of the control assembly for that unit. Beside the fact that the racks are very difficult to slide in and out and dont fit well, I just figured this is just a case of a bad unit. Electrolux paid to have it fixed so I was ok at that point. Then the ice maker in the refrigerator quit working properly. It was intermittent, slow, and finally quit. Electrolux paid for this repair also... like three times. It worked for a while and started the same problem about a year later. I called back in and they said theyd replace the refrigerator... and they did. Later I received a mailing about what I think was a class action suit on this issue so I understand why they were so agreeable to replacement of the refrigerator.Next up is the dishwasher. Actually I dont believe it ever really worked that well because the touch pad was stubborn from the beginning. So now the touch pad isnt functional except for the start button and the normal button so no other features are available. Ive been told that the buttons are probably sticking and it needs a new part. Of course were now in our 5th year so the warranty is gone, and since Im going to replace the part, it will be on me if the part doesnt work when it gets here. The only other problem we had with the dishwasher was that something happened with the seal as far as I can tell, and it leaked water, ruining our hardwood floor under the dishwasher, in front of it, and some on the other side of the island. A hardwood guy tells me well have to do the whole room to fix the problem effectively. Its easy to see but were living with it.Just a couple days ago the microwave went out. No microwave and no convection. Check out the reviews folks, this unit is highly unreliable. I did find that Wolf makes one that will fit perfect for a similar price, actually a little less, and I suspect it will outperform this ICON by a landslide. We bought all these appliances for a new home we built. They looked nice at the time and of course we were sold on them. That company isnt in business anymore either. What a mess. I hope this review serves the public well but there are a boatload of reviews on Electrolux and it looks like an average of one star. Please pay attention and save yourself some headaches... buy something else.

I purchased a refrigerator from home depot on the 23rd and it was delivered to me on March 2. Before the delivery guy brought the fridge in he informed me that the fridge was dented and if I wanted a new one I would have to wait another week without a fridge and with a small child that was out of the question. So I decided to call Electrolux to see if I could be compensated for the fridge. I talked with ** and she told me without pictures I could have $40 off the fridge, I took pictures of both sides of the fridge and did not hear back from her. I called the next day and spoke with ** and he said I guess we can give you $60 off. I was upset with the rude comment and said that I was still unhappy and he said well what are you expecting? I was not expecting anything but would have liked to be acknowledged that what I bought was not what I received. He told me he would talk to a manager and call me back the next day, I called and spoke with him again and he said I guess we can give you the $100 off. I was very upset by the way I was being treated and said that I would just prefer to have a new fridge sent since that is what I paid for. His response was oh so now youve changed your mind, we will deliver, then hung up on me. I got no apology for the situation or any details about when the new fridge would be delivered. I am astounded by the horrible customer service this company hires. I called back after being rudely hung up on and he refused to pass me on to a manager. I called back several times after this trying to speak with a manager and not one person would help me. It is now March 20 and after going to home depot in person I got the first apology for my situation and the man working there was amazing and threatened to call head office if my issue was not resolved. Turns out ** did not give my phone number to the delivery company. Appalling, dont use this company, its not worth it

I have been getting the run around from Electrolux and Lowes and neither company is providing me with good customer service. I requested a store credit so I could get an replacement and I was told I needed 3 service calls before it could be approved. I will never purchase another Electrolux appliance and I will never shop at Lowes again. If this matter isnt handled I will be contacting an attorney.

I bought a Electrolux refrigerator in 2011. The refrigerator is a $4,000.00
I bought a Electrolux refrigerator in 2011. The refrigerator is a $4,000.00 piece of junk. Not only is it a product with multiple issues, one being a fire hazard, 2 the ice maker never worked properly. And the customer service is even worse than the product. I called to have the ice maker repaired but when the repairman came, he said, there was nothing he could do because he didnt see a problem. The fire hazard - is that the lighting unit burnt a hole right through the liner. Which I called on and they told me I was out of warranty and that they never heard of that particular problem BUT lucky for me, they sold a repair kit for the particular problem! LOL, really?I decided to contact the BBB because I refused to give Electrolux a dollar of my money. I had communication with Electrolux learning that the refrigerator liner was still under warranty. Or misleading me to believe it was under warranty. Their words were the cabinet liner, compressor, and something else had a 2-5 year limited warranty. With that letter in hand I contacted Electrolux and they agree to send a repair person out to repair the liner but if it was considered to be cosmetic that I would be responsible for the charges. I thought to myself, how in the world could they find this cosmetic? It is a fire hazard and clearly a factory defect. The repair main showed up to my house a couple days later and told me that it was not fixable. Armed with the same letter from Electrolux I gave him a copy of it. He said OK this clearly states you are covered for under warranty and I putting in a request for a new one. But dont hold my breath because its his experience that Electrolux doesnt honor their contracts. They always stick the customer with the bill. And as far as the burn hole, he has seen it many times and is very common for it to happen with their product. They of course did not honor their contract. They refused to cover anything. And deny that its covered because they deemed it cosmetic! Horrible company. Hopefully no one has to die before recalling this fire hazard.

Terrible customer service, I purchased double electrical range on April 22
Terrible customer service, I purchased double electrical range on April 22 2017, for almost 2,00.00, and my issues started. In beginning of September I notice that cooktop of range is starting melt, I called Electrolux, I was asked to send them a pictures, on September 24, 2017 so I did, once get a message that their side is not working, then second time, third time, all the same their site did not worked. Ok something wrong with email or their site. So on October 4, 2017 I decided to sent a pictures again, the same story try few times, the same reply site is not working. I contacted the local technician as per Frigidaire representative advise. Technician came in, made a picture and assure me within few days that he sent it to Frigidaire. Nothing happening. On October 24 again spoke to Frigidaire representative Quintavia and again sent the pictures, as she said that nothing is on my file. Nothing happening.Again on November 22 I spoke to Mona and again I heard that nothing is on my file, so again I resend the pictures, this time Mona called me back and confirm that she received the pictures and finally I got a case number. I was informed that the technician will have all the information from now. I spoke to technician and he told me that the new cooktop has been order and he is just waiting for its exchange, this was November 26, 2017. On December 5, technician has been still waiting for the part, on December 28 I called the Frigidaire with question when I can expect the repair to happened, and surprise I heard that nothing has been approved or ordered, and the Corporate supervisor told me that nothing can be done until January 3 2018. No apologies, no explanation, they did all properly and it seems to be my fault that I bought that range and that it is faulty. This is the worst customer service in my long life. It cost me two thousand and hours on the phone, a lot of stress. Frigidaire products are going down with quality, I am not sure, as I have a old fridge and this is one of the best, but for sure their customer service is the worst that happened to me, no one care, I felt like I was intrusion for staff and how dare I complain. If you can avoid please save yourself a lot of stress and time, spend a money with different company and have a less stress.
