We purchased a new home and bought the washer and dryer. When delivered, it was off balance and need a repair guy had to come in. Not a problem with the unit, just the service. When adjusted, the washer made very loud loud noise from rattles, belt rubbing, etc. We thought Electrolux was the top of the line, however, it’s just a terrible product. After one day, we asked the supplier to take them back. I wish it would have worked out. My only comment is BEWARE. We are now forced to find an alternative.

I bought a chest freezer from Electrolux and it broke within 6 days. And then I called right away to get it replaced and they only do repairs. So they told me I had to make an appointment to get a repair but they would get back to me in five days to do so because they didnt have any availability. A week and a half later I called and they said they were still waiting on service (after they put me on a brief hold for two hours). I told the lady I wanted an update the next day and she never called. So I called back the next day – still nothing and still waiting on service. I bought it from Home Depot and that is the second appliance I bought from home depot not only did I have problems with but customer service gave me problems. I am a contractor. I will not buy so much as a drywall screw from home depot. And I will not purchase or install an Electrolux application for myself or anyone else. Absolute garbage and a sorry excuse for a company and ignorant customer service.

We first bought an Electrolux Icon French style (2 doors, bottom freezer) 6 years ago as part of a kitchen reno, along with matching wall ovens. From day one the ice maker had nothing but problems - service calls every few months. They did do 1 repair after the warranty expired. The next time I called they offered to replace the fridge at cost, and we agreed as we wanted to maintain the look of the kitchen. The ice maker on this unit worked, but after about a year the unit appeared to lose its mind and would randomly give high temp warnings, and then be OK for a day or two. Service tech diagnosed ice build up in the freezer and evaporator and recommended a full defrost. We did that and it was OK for few months, then happened again. This repeated 6 months later, and now again for the 3rd time. This time I pulled out the usin and noticed a huge patch of rust on the stainless steel back plate right behind the ice maker. So, looks like the ice maker has an internal leak, which builds up as ice inside the unit and eventually screws with the temp sensors. The door gasket is also now disintegrating. Bottom line - these people do not know how to design or build reliable refrigerators. They are quite literally junk. The ovens have been great though :).

I have had a new $950 dryer that the blower is out on. I have only had the machine for 2 months. They won’t replace the machine. After town ninths, the machine should be replaced and not worked on. If I had wanted a refurbished machine which this will be once they start replacing parts, I would have bought one and saved the money… NO help from Electrolux except parroting the warranty. DO NOT BUY ELECTROLUX! I bought my friend a GE set for half the price–worked just as well with NO problems.

Fourteen months into a $2,000 Electrolux induction stovetop purchase, the thing died. To add salt to the wound, were 3 weeks into the thing dying and no fix in sight. Upon calling their service department, I was responsible with making service arrangements through their local service provider. I gave Electrolux the error code so they knew the faulty part, but still waited 1 week for them to tell me what I already told them. Now, it’s 1 week to order the part and 1 week to reschedule for the local service provider to install the part. The Electrolux stovetop is crap and their customer service is worse than the product. Buyers beware of anything with the name Electrolux on it.

Bought Electrolux dishwasher Feb. 2013. So far, three visits from repair man. Even though I listed all of my complaints, repairman said there was nothing wrong with my dishwasher, and left without doing anything. Next visit decides control board is bad. Get new control board, works fine. Serviceman leaves and next day, dishwasher doesnt work, and noticed middle arm hits top basket. This is why top glasses never got clean. Repair man needs to return 4th time because pump does not work. But he needs to see for himself, thus will need to come back 5th time, before one year is up.

I have a 4 year old double wall oven that I paid a little over $3000.00 for. Every time I use the self clean function, the oven door locks and then does not unlock at the end of the cleaning cycle. Their customer service rep told me to start the cleaning cycle and then immediately cancel it to see if that would get it unlocked. Nopes. They then told me to just call out the repairman on my dime.

I have been speaking with Electrolux customer service representatives for a week now regarding my Frigidaire range and the exploding glass that scattered all over my kitchen when I opened the oven door. Much to my disappointment, the Electrolux customer service representatives have explained to me that they have no responsibility to address this situation or provide my family with a safe oven because the range is no longer under the 12 month warranty. To say the least, I am appalled at this response. My family was exposed to glass exploding in my kitchen. My feet were cut, and my husband spent hours cleaning glass from every corner of our kitchen. We are just thankful that our young child was not in the kitchen and seriously injured. According to Electrolux customer service representatives, a slight bump of the oven door months earlier could cause the glass to explode in this manner. How is this a safe product? Our Frigidaire glass oven door exploding in our kitchen is a horrific safety hazard, and I am deeply disturbed by Electroluxs failure to rectify this situation.

I am not happy at all with our purchase! Was told by technician who came out to check them that I needed to shut my cold water down so we could get warm water wash? Never heard of such a thing! So we put coats in and it shuffles them until the washer is out of balance! The dryer is another problem? We put 3 bath towels and hand and washcloths in and the kitchen towels? When you go to take them out part of them still wet! All we wanted was to have a washer and dryer we could turn on and do laundry! This pair is nothing but computerized junk to us!

We purchased an Electrolux washer (and dryer) - our first Electrolux brand
We purchased an Electrolux washer (and dryer) - our first Electrolux brand of major appliance. We are normally careful to read reviews and check the brand out. All the reviews regarding the product features and benefits were strong. Never having had a problem with all laundry appliances we have purchased over the last 20 years or so, we failed to check the feedback on quality and service. Did check with friends and family with Electrolux laundry appliances - and they had performance concerns but did not have any service issues. Within the first 9 months, the washer developed a bottom leak (which I now see is a common problem). We are not high volume users, doing about 4 to 6 loads every month. Upon calling Electrolux, it seems that the authorized service agent in my area (the greater Boston area) can only come out 2 weeks from the day I called. Since this is the only way I can have my appliance repaired and the cost covered under the manufacturers warranty, I accepted the appointment. I think that it is reasonable to expect a problem free first year (or longer for an appliance that costs as much), as has been our experience over the last 20+ years. And, if it seems that this is a common issue, and likely a manufacturing defect. In my view, the manufacturer should stand behind their reputation and provide extended warranty coverage to address known manufacturing defects while fixing the issue in their design and production. If this were a car, I am quite sure there would be a recall to fix the problem at no cost to the owner. Fortunately, the damage caused by the water leaking is not major in our case. Nonetheless, it is not usable as it is for an extended period. So, families who may have the washer installed where there is potential for water leakage damage or who cannot function without a washer for a couple of weeks (or more), or who may not want to incur the additional maintenance costs - may wish to exclude this brand from their consideration.

My Electrolux EIMED60JIWO front load dryer will not start. Serial # 4D10402611. Purchased May 28, 2011 Hampton, VA. Registered with Electrolux. If I turn the dial to different settings it beeps at each setting, light flashes on and off with the beep. If I try to start, turn the dial, cancel or push any other buttons, it beeps. This has happened 4 times since I purchased the dryer in May 28 of 2011. I believe the last technician said the dryer had to be reset. It will not reset. I tried unplugging, resetting the circuit breaker, factory resetting the dryer by pushing the temperature button and the dryness button simultaneously for 6 seconds. NOTHING. STILL NOT WORKING!!! Of course it is only 4 years old, but out of warranty. They advised that I purchase a 2 year extended warranty for $267.74, and then I have to wait 9 days for the earliest service call. The dryer cost $1100!!! They didnt fix the problem when it was under the original warranty. I am NOT happy with Electrolux. WARNING!!! DO NOT BUY ELECTROLUX!! They offer a poor product, poor service, and fail to honor the warranty. I expected more out of my Electrolux. Please advise.

We purchased a top of the line Electrolux gas range in January. Our intention was to have it installed at our cottage in May, (which we did do with a licensed service company). Since it was installed we have had problems with the double burner. It turns on with a small explosion and when it does light, it does not have flame all around the burner. The service man attempted to repair the problem but gave up and told us to contact Electrolux to have one of their warranty approved service companies to look at this range. I called Electrolux and received the names of three service companies. One only worked on electric ranges, one stopped doing warranty work the week previous, and the other one refused to travel to my location as we live out of the town limits. When I called Electrolux back, they advised me to find a service man that would work on our unit and have them complete the repairs and send them a copy of the bill and they would then forward a cheque to cover all of the repairs costs. I contacted my original service man and he agreed to take another look at the problem. Which he did. He ascertained that there is a manufacturing defect with that burner. I have now been on the phone for 35 minutes listening to the message of how important my call is to them. My impression so far? They may stand behind their product, but only to wave goodbye as it leaves the factory. This is the last Electrolux appliance I will EVER buy!

I got the Electrolux dishwasher as a package from our home builder. We had problems from the start. Within the first year, while it was still under warranty, we had to get it serviced three times. It would not dry the dishes, the pump failed so it would discharge the water. Right now the touch controls are unusable. I have to open-close the door ~10 times before I can simply press start. Forget about selecting any custom wash cycle. Every so often even that does not work and I have to cycle the power to the unit at the fuse box. We are waiting for the unit to die to replace it. My only consolation is that I did not spend any money on service. I am never buying another Electrolux appliance again, and I am telling everyone I know to follow suit.

We purchased an Electrolux dishwasher model EI241D50QS in March 2015. The main board and the pressure switch went in Nov 2016 of course after warranty. Luckily the manufacturer agreed to pay for at least the parts for replacement. Fast forward now to Aug 2017 again the main board looks to be broken in less than a year. Called customer service and asked what they can do to help me as this dishwasher is only 2 years old and should not be broken down for second time and this part is less than a year old. Only response was, “Sorry nothing we can do.” So basically the 1k dishwasher I paid for 2 years ago is junk as the part and about to repair is almost the same cost, what a joke that they cannot stand by their product and give terrible customer service saying, “Oh well nothing we can do. Youre on your own.” I will NEVER BUY ANOTHER APPLIANCE FROM ELECTROLUX OR FRIGIDAIRE EVER AGAIN AND WARN OTHERS ABOUT THEIR PRODUCT.

Purchased high end (what a joke) Electrolux appliances. Turned out to be thinly disguised Frigidaire appliances. What a mistake. Fridge ice maker kept failing. Service guy told me Electrolux would send him out 3-5 times then would replace the fridge believe it was 4 times, but even then it took a couple of hours discussing the issue with Frigidaire warranty department. They tried to pull the its out of warranty excuse because it was just over a year. The new fridge has a different ice maker but still periodically must be defrosted and the milk self broke. The microwave needed a new display board, then 6 months later shorted out because it had been improperly painted which allowed it to arc. Even though it was out of warranty by about 6 months they finally agree to replace, but not install a new unit. The plastic impeller on the dishwasher failed. The service tech advised me to wash the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. The stove has failed and needed a $600 controlled board. It has now failed again. Junk.

I hate them! We have had them for 2 years and we have had nothing but problems, and the repair man and I are on first name bases! Last week, he was here to replace the heating elements. Today, I washed 4 loads of laundry and just put the 5th load going and noticed the screen is blank but lit up. The machine is working so far, but its not done yet either! We saved and saved, and spent $1200 per unit for this! Never again! We had a front loader before and it was fine. We have a large family, 10 kids and 2 adults, so it gets used a lot and we were told this would be the perfect machine for our family. This turned out to be the biggest mistake we have ever made! I have been sure to tell my friends and family this also! We are friends with he people that sold us these machines and I shared my complaints with them as well. I will only buy Maytag and top loaders! On top of the current problem with the washer screen, it also leaks in the front and has now rusted the front of the machine because of this. A zipper took a very small nick in the rubber gasket. This by the way is the second gasket we have had on this machine and looks like number 3 at $125.00 per gasket will be on it again! I cant believe the price we paid for these in the beginning and now with repair bills. Im very unhappy!

I have owned this piece of crap washer since 11/12 and have had nothing but chronic problems with it. I am now facing my 13th repair on this washer next Wednesday, 1/14/15. My problems pretty much started within the first 3 months of ownership whereas the dispensing drawer on my washer would dispense laundry products (detergents, softener, bleach) without the washer A) even being on and B) a cycle having been selected.I have now had my water pump replaced twice and my dispensing drawer and its mechanism 3 times the last time being 8/14. My washer has once again started doing the same thing which is dispensing the fabric softener once poured into its compartment, without the washer even being on or any cycle being chosen. I have fought with Dracut Appliance (the retailer where the washer was purchased) to no avail from month 3 of ownership. I have fought with Electrolux repeatedly, last time being earlier this afternoon, also to no avail. I am taking this opportunity to advise anyone to AVOID BUYING ANY ELECTROLUX APPLIANCE AT ALL COSTS. They have done nothing to stand by their product since my problems started. While I do have a 5 year extended warranty through Dracut Appliances Service Contractor, its done nothing to alleviate theproblem other than to thankfully cover all of the mounting repair calls, the parts and labor for every service call. So do yourself a favor and avoid purchasing anything with the Electrolux Name on it!!!

The repairmen could not resolve the problem and promised to contact us back shortly once he obtains the diagrams for this particular type. I never heard back from him.I called again in January and got a new repairman. This one confirmed that two parts are faulty and must be obtained by them. I never heard back from him again. I contacted again in February, in March and in April. Nothing is being done. In fact, each time we call, the registration number they gave us the last time is incorrect, so we are told.So not only does Electrolux honor its warranty obligations, they do not deliver on promises. They also try to lie and cancel out warranty policies by providing incorrect record numbers. I bet that when we call end of April, when our warranty nearly runs out, they will not be able to assist as our warranty has run out. What a disgrace of a company!

We have had two repairmen look at it. They cant seem to find the problem. Very disappointed in Electrolux. Wish I had my old washer back! Will never buy Electrolux again!

Units are made in Mexico and are poorly tested, made and stood behind by Frigidaire who warranties this 23 sq ft stainless unit for 1 year. You can get an extended 3 year warranty called a Platinum star warranty as an option. Little faith it might last one year as we see it. Numerous complaints are on the web primarily centering around the a ice maker. We are on # 3 ice maker in 6 years since purchase. Customer service in Ga. was a TOTAL waste of time and we were advised no recalls or bulletins had been issued on any model. Wished you could have heard their lack of concern. We guess after waiting over 30 min. for an agent, most people would have bailed on the call and we called first thing in the morning. Keeps the complaints down if you cant wait an hour to get help. In addition to the ice maker, we now have a ce code alert on the front led panel and no lights in the unit. After shelling out 3 service calls for this fine work of refrigeration- this will be our last, The repair is scheduled in 12 hours and it will be sold.We called our place of purchase Goedekers in St. Louis and discussed our displeasure to the owner whose sales people pitched this as a great deal for $3500 in 2000. The sales people placed it in the category of Sub Zero, Wolf, and Viking. Goedekers were asked today to have the local or regional rep. contact us but they doubted we would hear from them so now we are warning all consumers. We are on city water and when the unit was installed-GOEDEKERS ran the water line. To replace it if that contributes to our issues- the current repair people now say I need an additional plumber charge to re-install it. More charges to remedy a piece of crap that had little testing on it before it was placed in the market place. Craigs list will be seeing this soon- we pity the buyer but will just say we are going with another brand and this runs fine now. It is true Electrolux sucks - in vacuums and now refrigerators. DO NOT BUY ANY MODEL OR YOU WILL SUFFER BADLY. Our model is: EW23CS65GS1. You have been warned.

After four months the refrigerator broke. They made me wait two weeks before even offering a loan fridge. I had to call them and spend hours on the phone to come up with any solution (other than not having a fridge). They asked me to go without a fridge for four months because the part they needed was on back order. Bad products + bad service = really really bad company.

Purchased an Electrolux refrigerator in June of 2011. I did not bother with an extended warranty. From my past experiences with refrigerators, I figured that I should at least get about 7 or 8 years of use at the minimum.Three months later, while opening the refrigerator, the handle came off in my hand. It actually broke where it connected to the screws on the door. At the time, I had other issues that were deemed more important, so I did not bother with having it repaired. The following summer, I noticed that on very hot or humid days, the refrigerator did not get as cold as it normally functioned. That would last for several days and then miraculously it would return to the normal set temperature. This continued to occur this summer also. From day one, I always said that the refrigerator was loud. Everyday, especially at night when things are quieter, I hear an intermittent popping sound. It is 1:00 AM in the morning, and I just read several reviews on this site. When I woke up yesterday morning, the refrigerator, as well as, my food, were warm. I thought, how in the world can a 2-year-old refrigerator stop working. Granted, that I only paid around 500 plus dollars, I felt I was buying a reliable product since it was a sub-brand of Frigidaire which was the name of my washer/dryer set that I had for 13 years without any problems. At this very moment, the refrigerator is making a very loud humming sound. Earlier I had to transfer food to my deep freezer. I am not happy. I decided to find out if there were any complaints on this product (hindsight) to determine what my next step would be. Well, I have decided to purchase another refrigerator (a well known name brand) and not even bother with a repair service due to the numerous complaints I have read. I refuse to take out the time to experience repeated repairs! Sales representatives will say anything to get you to buy a product. If I have learned anything, it is to research before hand when purchasing sub-brand appliances, regardless of the manufacturer. I will not own another ELECTROLUX product EVER!

DO NOT BUY Electrolux EI32AR65JS (similar to EI32AR80QS and several other model numbers) OR THE COMPANION FREEZER. The cooling system failed on my unit within 6 months. I have been without a fridge for over a month. This is not just a slight risk, but almost a guarantee based on the amount of feedback on the internet. No coverage for lost food. No time limit on how long the repair can take. No extension of the warranty for the repaired unit. Will not even replaced the already hacked up unit unless it fails two more times. I wish they had categories for customer service and quality in this review form. They would both be 0 stars. I am seeking other customer of this product to form a class to take action against Electrolux.

They have highly rated products but the service is just awful. Bought through Sears a brand new 8 ft gas dryer (EFMG617STT) and it started making a noise right after installation. The installation person told us the noise would go away. Over 3 months the noise turned into a vibration until we couldnt run it. Had signed up for the Electrolux Platinum Star Limited Warranty so called up and they sent out a service repair company (All County Appliance Service) who determined it needed a blower wheel and motor. It has now been 2 weeks without them being able to fix the dryer. My wife has spent more than 10 hours on the phone tracking it down and no-one can tell where the parts are and when they can fix it. It turns out the repair company has a 1 star rating on Yelp and they dont even answer the phone most of the time and when they do, they refer to Electrolux regarding sending the parts. Electrolux (we have talked to 3 different people) say they have many clients except us and we need to wait. When we contacted Sears (which we have 3 times and they hanged up last time) they say we need to contact Electrolux. Never seen anything like this...ever. Especially when you pay $1200 for a top of the line appliance.

Top of the line Front load washer leaks. Door hinge defective and never fit properly. Had Sears fix several times but it is a horrible design. Made in Mexico where they stripped the screws when they put it together. Notified Electrolux customer service but they said my mistake was calling Sears. Since it is now over one year old, Electrolux will no longer help me. Stay away from this brand. They only say they care about customers. Their actions do not match their words. Buy a better brand.

Purchased Electrolux washer/dryer from Home Depot late 2017 (product received in Nov. 2017). Issues started soon after purchase with the dryer, it was clogging with lint in the blower motor. Not even sure how this was happening, since these are lint making machines. Service came out and had no options on how to prevent this from occurring. Again other than to contact servicing and have them clean it out. Basically they take the machine apart to do this, not a job for ordinary folk. After speaking with Electrolux, and informing them of this continuing issue. Their response is to continue calling for warranty/servicing. The big question was what if this issue persists beyond the one year manufacturing warranty, Electrolux response... “purchase extended warranty”. Are you kidding me!!! That’s when I contacted Home Depot head office. Their response to this issue was much of the same. I can’t believe either one of these entities could live up to their product (Electrolux) or service (Home Depot). This issue should resolved by a replacement or a full refund.Things to keep in mind, these service requests take up time during working hours cause warranty company doesn’t work after hours or weekends. So we have to take time off work each and every time a service is requested. Other option is to cut my losses and dump these machine and buy new ones. Even after a year of ownership. Extremely disappointed with both Electrolux and Home Depot Canada.

We purchased our Washer Dryer set less than a year ago. Already it has broken down twice. Both times, a bolt that holds the pulley to the back of the drum has loosened itself causing the pulley to cut into the drum housing and cause leakage. When contacting Electrolux the first time, the repair company they sent made 4 trips out to repair the unit, and we were without a working washer for several weeks. This time they dispatched a company that came out to assess the problem and then returned several days later to make the repair. They showed up at 8:00 pm on a Sunday night, and it is now 11:23 pm and it still isnt back together. To top it off, the repair person just informed me that a wire inside the machine was damaged and he will have to order a new one and return again. Electrolux has told us they will not replace the machine as long as their technician says it is repairable. I am very disappointed. For what we pay for these high end appliances, customer service is a joke. I live 35 miles from the nearest laundromat, and this is a total pain in the ** for my family of four... We have had to resort to hand washing my childrens school uniforms daily to get by and Electrolux seems to feel we arent entitled to a product that performs as advertised. I hope someone files a class action suit. I will never purchase Electrolux products again. Frigidaire has destroyed what was once the best brand name in the business.

Bought a kitchen full of Electrolux Products. Ice maker in frig has never work and 6 repair visits that has not changed. Drawer Frig has had the wire harness to the control panel replaced twice. Dishwasher has stopped working 3 times and all the program lights flash. Turning the power off for a day will reset the control panel for awhile. Am sure that wont work forever. Electrolux knows their ice maker design is bad. How many upgrade kits does it take to figure that out? The repair man that Elextrolux sends is never on time. Today he was going to be here between 10:00 and 2:00, arrived at 4:30. Products and service are terrible. When you contact Electrolux for warranty service, they ask you to take a survey and give ratings. If you checked the box to have Electrolux contact you, dont wait too long, they wont be calling. In the first few months during which I purchased a brand new dishwasher, it began spilling out water, flooding my entire kitchen. I have had repair people service it 4 times already and still the problem persists. I called Electrolux and complained this issue is causing damage to my house. It is very inconvenient to keep changing my schedule to wait for the repair person and we have no confidence at all in putting the unit on as we fear it will flood the house. They told me that the only thing that they could do is to keep sending the repair person, as per the terms of the contract. So I am stuck with a clearly defective, faulty appliance that Electrolux continues to deny to be broken. I was assisting my sister who had an Electrolux refrigerator that was leaking water at the bottom, in the front. After following the common troubleshooting for this kind of problem, I found that the drain trough was clogged with ice, preventing water from going through the drain tube into the drain pan. To get to the drain trough, I had to take most of the freezer apart-removing the ice maker, removing the housing containing the auger motor and dispenser solenoid, and removing two long metal covers held together by several screws.Whoever designed this flunked out of engineering school. Just to get to the light bulb, you have to remove the ice maker and the housing with the auger motor. What happened to just placing the light bulb socket on the ceiling, as is done with other refrigerator models? Im fairly handy with mechanical work, Ive built my own computers. This model is set up to make the average user have to call a service tech for the simplest repairs. Stay away from Electrolux, the design is just terrible.

I purchased a refrigerator in October 2017 and by January 2018 it completely stopped staying cold. A servicer was scheduled to come out within 2 weeks so all of my food went bad. A $50 good gesture gift card was mailed out to a short time later. A few months later the exact same thing happened and I lost all of my food again. If that was not enough, in September 2018, my refrigerator stopped staying cold AGAIN and AGAIN I lost all of my food. This issue was eventually elevated to the corporate supervisors, in which I had the displeasure of speaking to Shanell out of Augusta, GA. She was extremely rude and lacked basic customer service skills. She stated that these refrigerators are MAN MADE and thats what happens sometimes. At this time, I have been advised itll be roughly a week before anyone can come out to diagnose the issue and apparently theres only one technician in my area and he only does service work on Wednesdays. I will never, ever, purchase another Electrolux product. Ive never had this many issues with an appliance company at all. Buyers beware!

A one star rating is drastically too high for a company which I would consider the epitome of Worst Customer Service ever! When we purchased our new home, our builder offered a suite of Electrolux appliances, which appeared to be a good compliment to our home. Fast forward 30 days into our new home and we are already contacting Electrolux to have our new double oven serviced. 1) Temperature settings are not accurate as things cook at different rates every time we use it (Burns one time and then the next it will take twice as long as prescribed). 2) The fan on the top quiet oven sounds more like a jet engine spooling up for operation. Both issues were addressed with Electrolux. First service call - One repair technician shows up and then proceeds to inform us that it is a two person job, thus the service call has to be rescheduled. Next call, technician diagnoses the issues and orders parts. Parts arrive about a week later...another week goes by when I find out from my wife that they did not set up a follow-on appointment, nor have they called to set one up since the parts have arrived. That was the first time that I learned that Electrolux does not even attempt to go the extra mile for their customers. I called Electrolux and set my follow-on appointment...being spoiled by other companies with exceptional customer service cost me weeks in turn around repair time. Follow-on appointment happens and the parts are replaced and supposedly repaired. Oven still spooled up as if the generators were getting ready to come online and bring the aircraft to life and the temperatures settings were still unreliable. Over the course of my first 10 months, we dealt with this issue multiple times until we hit our breaking point as each time of dealing with the oven repair was mentally and emotionally exhausting with Electrolux. (The process is not smooth...I would say broken, but I dont think it has ever been a well established process.) After the last unsuccessful repair, I contacted Electrolux customer service number to request a replacement oven...the customer service agent pushed back stating that the part would have to be serviced again before replacing. We then had a heart to heart discussion about how we were not going to be inconvenienced for another repair attempt when all of the previous attempts failed. Our request was sent to the Back Office People for review for replacement for which he stated we would receive a determination via email in a few days. Fast forward again a few weeks...I get an email from some random delivery company stating that they were shipping an Electrolux oven to my address. Yes, that is how I found out that Electrolux had decided to replace my oven...in case you are not aware by now, never expect Electrolux North America to ever go the extra mile - aka email you to let you know they are replacing your busted oven. In November 2017, a delivery driver just appeared at our house without a pre-notification and proceeded to deliver our replacement oven. He then proceeded to let our new oven come crashing down on our driveway in front of my wife, who was luckily outside watering our grass at the time. My wife was astonished that the delivery driver continued to deliver the oven...and when approached, he stated that had she not been out there, he would have dropped it in the garage and left without ever saying a word. The questionable ethics of the deliver driver spooked my wife into fear that denying the delivery would only mean that shady driver takes oven away only for same company to bring same oven back a few days later. Since November 22nd, 2017 - we have been dealing with Electrolux North America to come to an acceptable solution to have a one for one swap completed. As sadly as it may sound, I have truly learned that Electrolux North America (especially North American Liaison Rita **) could not care less about the customer and their overall experience. All attempts to have the situation addressed with a means that would put their customer at ease...have fallen on deaf ears. Electrolux customer service, as well as Rita **, will only address a rigid black and white approach of how situations are to be addressed according to a policy and will never apply the Reasonable Person Theory, which would require them to listen to their customers and understand their concerns with at least the slightest bit of compassion. Recommendation - Do not buy Electrolux appliances or appliances of any of their sister companies. If you need any repairs, you will surely regret ever making that purchase...that I can guarantee.

We purchased both an Electrolux gas-oven/range and a refrigerator a few years back at a high-end appliance store for our new remodeled $150,000 kitchen. With the assumption that Electrolux has been in the business of developing and building appliances for many other well-known companies, was why we decided to go with their new line. Unfortunately, their appliance line is far from quality, and just cheap junk that starts having serious problems within six months of use. First off, our Model: EW30DS65GS Gas Oven/Range’s circuit board started having issues right off the bat. Now mind you, I have owned a few LED alarm clocks that have lasted me over fifteen years without any problems.Within one year, the LED display on our Electrolux Gas Oven/Range went dead, and we were told it would cost us $350.00 to replace it because it was out of warranty. Our Electrolux refrigerator is just as pathetic, and we have had it serviced out more than five times within the first year, just so our food didn’t go bad! Their customer service is a joke, and they could care less about their customers. It’s fairly obvious that Electrolux appliances are just a cheap line of poorly built Chinese junk for the ignorant mass-market. Don’t waste your money or time!

He stated it wasnt draining properly and the hose needed to be higher. Less than a year later, just after warranty ran out, it did it again. Electrolux then stated we had to pay for repairs. We had tech come out and charge us for call and stated it could be two parts, the control board or drain valve. We replaced both and it still didnt work. Our Electrolux Fridge model EI23BC60KS (ELECTROLUX, REF F/S 24D, FRENCH DOOR, F/D, 23CUFT, 24D, HDN HNG, I/M) started overheating about 9 months post purchase. Since then weve taken at least 12 days off work so far to have service technicians come check it out (6x now) and then waited approx a week to get a second visit where they replaced a different part each time or turned it off. Worst is that every time, weve lost hundreds of dollars in food and we have a baby so had to purchase a mini fridge to at least keep his basic items like milk cool. When I reached out to Electrolux Canada Head office the last time, they indicated they couldnt do anything other than paying for parts given it was the same issue identified during warranty period because I didnt purchase replacement insurance (this was two days post warranty period). Again the same thing happened so this will be our 7th call to a servicing company. This is the second set of Electrolux appliances (we had them in our old house as well and I recommended them to friends and family given no their sleek design). Its so not worth it though unless youre ok having a fridge that doesnt actually function. This has been the worst product and customer support experience Ive had in my life. We purchased - largely for being identical in appearance - the Electrolux dishwasher, oven, and microwave set for a remodeled kitchen. Heres my experience with all three, plus other info. Dishwasher 1: Simply did not clean dishes. Three warranty service calls did not fix. Replaced with the identical Electrolux dishwasher. Dishwasher 2 (replacement): Leaked water onto the kitchen floor, and made an amazingly loud and unacceptable noise in operation. Two warranty service calls did not fix the leak and could not diagnose the noise. Lowes took it back and we replaced it with a now out-of-place looking but functional Kitchenaid.Oven: Several of the blue bars on the lighted timer/temperature indicators are not fully functional at one year old (off warranty), so have to guess at temperatures and time. Very expensive to repair. Went through one temp. probe warranty repair (it was not connected internally at the factory). Troubleshooted and replaced a faulty second probe. The oven has twice stopped functioning, but I was able to get it operational by rebooting it (shutting off the appliance breakers, then turning them back on). Note: At the same time, my son, who lives 500 miles away, also bought the same type Electrolux oven, and he also has experienced the loss of some of the blue bars that constitute the numbers needed for time and temperature reading.Microwave: Many of the blue bars that constitute the numbers for time are not functional. Try operating a microwave without fully functional numbers for time, etc. The cost of the repair (replacement of the electronics is almost half the cost of an entire new unit. We limp along as is because of our attempt to match the appliances in the kitchen, and we are not about to replace with the identical Electrolux. Note: My son bought the identical microwave and he has the same problems. These things tell me that Electrolux shipped an entire batch of ovens and microwaves across the US with faulty lighted numbers. The shipping of two out-of-box failure dishwashers is almost unbelievable. I dont know how a company can survive with such a record of failures across three product lines.

He said that the ice tray had a crack in it and that a piece broke off that this was the cause of the ice maker not working. I gave it 24hrs. to produce ice, nothing happen. The repair came back out and said that I need a back panel deterioration Kit and that it will extend my refrigerator out two inches. Also, that the manufacturing is aware of this problem. So, in short Im very dissatisfied with this product. I paid a lot of money for what I thought I was getting a high end refrigerator. This unit is only 3 yrs old. I want to know what are you going to do. At this present time I will never purchase another Electrolux product and will inform social media and friends to do the same.

My husband purchased this dishwasher from Home Depot a year ago. From the day it was installed, it has given us nothing but problems. If a dishwasher had the power to ruin a persons day, this is the model that would do that. The electronic display never works. Just never works. Push them all day to try to start a load of dishes and you get nothing but beeps. You cannot simply push the type of load and hit start, as most dishwashers allow you to do. Its all computerized and nothing works. When we finally do hit the buttons enough times to get the machine to start, it runs a cycle and the dishes come out the same as they went in - not cleaned at all.Weve called Home Depot... Weve called Electrolux - all to no avail. Electrolux sent out a serviceman who did nothing. They wouldnt accept a return for this horrible machine, yet charged over $1000 for it. Im just waiting until my husband says we should just start over and buy a new machine. He chose this one himself, so Ill probably be waiting a while. Ugh. So frustrated.

I purchased a new Electrolux slide in range with a self cleaning oven in 2010. At the time I also purchased an extended warranty and am so glad that I did. Since then every time I clean the oven using the self cleaning feature, the oven comes out spotless and then refuses to work. Each time it has been repaired it has needed a new motherboard. The technicians say it is a common problem that they encounter with this model range. I love the range, it is a ceramic top...easy to clean... easy to use. I simply would like the oven to work as it is meant to. This was a $3000 range and I have been very disappointed in the design flaw of the self clean feature.

In September 2013 I purchased numerous appliances for a house I was renovating. Among those were an Electrolux washer, dryer and 2 wine refrigerators. The appliances were delivered and installed in February 2014. The dryer steam valve malfunctioned in less than a year flooding the laundry room and damaging the wood floor; that was repaired under warranty. The washer malfunctioned a few months later - out of warranty - when it would not spin clothes dry. That required a service call and parts replacement for $454. About a year later the same problem arose. Another service call, another $454. Recently the problem occurred for the 3rd time. I was told that I needed a new drive belt and that the bearings were bad. The quote to repair was more than the cost of a new washer. I replaced washer and dryer with Maytag versions. The wine refrigerators have fixed shelves so close together that Burgundy style bottles cannot be placed on them without causing the shelf above to come out as well. The only solution is to skip a shelf if you need to store bottles wider than standard. Oh, yes, one of the refrigerators temperature controls no longer works.

Bought a brand new Electrolux model EIFLS60LT washing machine. It had to be repaired three times in the first year. Each time they would come out and work on it they also had to order parts. We went without a washing machine two times for a month and one time for two months. We had to wait for parts that would take forever to get in. I purchased an extended warranty. Guess what broke down again. I asked to get the machine replaced. They said I started a new extended warranty and it will have to break down three times before they will replace it. I had also asked when it was under the manufacture warranty if they would replace the machine. They said it would have to go to a review board to see if that was acceptable. They never called back. Please purchase a Maytag for your own peace of mind.

I have had this Electrolux EI23BC35K Counter Depth Refrigerator for about two weeks now, so I am ready to give it a review. Some things that I really like about it are: Looks great, doors and drawers all open and close smoothly. The LED lights come on and transition from off to full brightness in a couple of seconds. Rounded pyramid ice cubes from the door dispenser, and near half moon shaped cubes in the freezer, plenty of ice. So far, the ice makers are working perfectly. Temperature readings on the front display appear accurate. What I don't like about this refrigerator: The compressor and fans run constantly. I have only heard it shut off once, for about 15 minutes. Even after not being opened all night long, it is still running non-stop in the morning. It does have, as other reviewers have noted, a slight, high pitched whine coming from the compressor. It's not too loud, but noticeable. Since it never cycles off, it can be a bit annoying if you have good hearing and your kitchen is open to the living area. The water filling the ice makers makes a loud whoosh noise, much louder than my previous fridge. The refrigerator arrived in decent time, considering it had to be shipped from the east coast to the west coast. Upon arrival, the packaging appeared good, and once the cardboard was removed, it all looked good so I accepted delivery. After I completed the tedious task of removing the protective film from the stainless steel front, I found a small dent in the exact middle of the freezer door. It wasn't visible with the film on, and the film took a long time to remove as it was like peeling duct tape off. The blue film on the handles come off easily, but the somewhat clear film on the doors was a royal pain to remove, taking about 40 minutes to finish. I did not make the delivery people wait while I did this, so could not mark it as damaged in shipping, so I get to live with it. That being said, I am overall fairly happy with my purchase, but would really have to think twice about buying a major appliance this way again. I saved a couple hundred over buying locally, but lost out on having the slight damage repaired. The savings I made were used to buy a SquareTrade extended warranty and new water supply line. If I have any issues in the future, I will update my review.

Contacted Electrolux over a week ago when my ice maker on the fridge quit working. They called me back in 3 days and stated I would be getting a call from a service tech within the next couple of days to schedule an appt. Never received a call. I called Electrolux to advise and they stated they again would contact the service tech. I received a call from the service tech stating they do not service Electrolux contracts, and they have no idea why Electrolux would contact them as they only service Frigidaire contracts. I called Electrolux and advised of my conversation with the service tech. An Electrolux mgr. stated he would elevate my service request and I should hear from someone in 2-3 days. I asked, then how many days before I would be able to get service. He basically gave me the impression I should be glad that he elevated my request. I gave it some thought, looked in my yellow pages and noted tons of refrigerator repairmen. Called Electrolux back and asked if I should find someone to service my refrigerator would they reimburse? They said I would need to pay the service tech, submit the bill to Electrolux and they would determine if they would reimburse, because the repairmen in the area were not designated Frigidaire repairmen. So, here I sit, just thinking what an absolute nightmare and waste of time and money dealing with what appears to be a worthless Electrolux warranty.

We purchased the extended warranty and within the first three months we had 2 service calls for major repairs. In both cases the oven overheated and burnt up the food that was in it. A third call was made with another major repair. I wrote letters to Electrolux and the company I made the purchase and requested the appliance be replaced. Nothing was done and as soon as the warranty expired another major problem happened and cost us $550 to repair. We will never recommend Electrolux to family or friends.

In late 2008 we purchased an Electrolux refrigerator, glass cooktop, double oven, microwave & dishwasher. We bought all the appliances in late October 2008 but did not receive them until late November. We had been promised them within a week & were concerned we would not get everything in time for Thanksgiving as we were having family stay with us for the holiday. In any case, the refrigerator was delivered & set up while we were still living at our old house. It arrived with a dent in it. A very noticeable dent. We were told it might be several weeks to get the replacement. Everything was top of the line so not in stock in the store. Under the circumstances, we elected to keep it. However, when they installed the water line for the ice maker, they did not remove the plug so the water poured out all over our wood floors until we came to the new house the following day & were met with the mess & flood. Within just a few months, the dishwasher had to be serviced. Again, not a good sign but sometimes things happen. Shortly thereafter, the blue digital display on the double ovens had some lights stop working & the display was messed up. I called, I was told a part would be sent & when we received it, to call back & a repairman would be dispatched. The part did not arrive when expected, another bad thing, I called after a few days, giving ample time & was told the part had not been sent but now would be for sure. About a month later I received a part. I called for service. No one showed up. A couple of weeks later, I called again. I was told AGAIN that the repairman would come. A couple of days later, I received a SECOND part. No repairman. EVER. Anyway, the digital blue displays on the glass stovetop soon followed suit & stopped working as well. Now I have to guess what temperature I am really cooking things at. The only appliance with the Electrolux name on it that has not had an issue so far is the microwave. I hate to even say it, as I probably just jinxed it. The refrigerator is now not working at all. It kept turning off & on, off & on. Then it popped up a CE error on the beautiful blue display that I was once so fond of. We have ordered a part & my husband is saying he will install it himself, again. The top oven of the double oven stopped keeping the correct temperature about a year ago. For example, I can set it for 350 degrees but in actuality, it may not even be 125 degrees. I feel so disgusted that I spent all my retirement money to have the kitchen of my dreams & instead got the kitchen of my nightmares. Compounding my deep disappointment is the fact that I know I can never afford to buy all new appliances again AND that since we bought all of these items at the same time, they will probably all start falling apart at the same time. I bought the hype, I believed I was buying quality & I regret it & will regret it forever. In my blind faith, I bought the kitchen I wanted because I knew I would never ever have such an opportunity again to furnish my kitchen with top of the line state of the art appliances. Refrigerators, microwaves, stovetops, double ovens & dishwashers should all last longer than 5 years. That is just my humble opinion but it is also my humble opinion that I will NEVER purchase another Electrolux anything. I spent a small fortune on Electrolux products to have ALL of them, except the microwave, have issues right off the bat & have a top quality refrigerator fail within 5 years. Kelly Ripa should be ashamed of herself for making money off this terrible product.

Our Family purchased the Front Loading Washer and Dryer, just under five years ago. To be honest we were happy with the set for the first three or so years. Then we started to notice a Gas smell in our Laundry Room. We had our local gas company out a couple times to try to locate the problem. They could not trace the source? (We always were throwing a load in the washer or dryer, as we were leaving to run errands, work, or whatever). So we never could figure it out for the longest time. Come to find out, while the dryer was drying our clothes, Natural Gas was leaking not from the gas lines, connectors, or something that you would normally think! But from actually around the Drum while the clothes were drying. (Thank God we had good ventilation. Who knows what could have happened) After determining the source, we finally had a Electrolux Authorized Service Person to come out. Come to find out it is a $500 Part, that we have to order and then when it finally arrives, they can come back and pay additional fees to pull it out of the tight fitting Laundry Room Upstairs. At that point we were very upset with the Service Man, who then explained how Electrolux has become a company of ill reputation. To date the washer and dryer now sit in the middle of our garage floor, sacrificing our Indoor parking. We just went out and purchased a Brand New LG Front Loading Washer and Dryer Set. We had attempted to try to get some sort of arrangement made with Electrolux, but was met with the same stone walls everyone else here on this board seems to. Pay money, pay money, go away or do not pay anymore money, but go away. I am hoping that there some class action lawsuits filed and then and only then will they be forced to eat their praised product lines.

The gas burns do not all reliably ignite when turned on. The heat range is also not adequate with 3 of the 4 burns having too much flame when turned to low setting. The largest burner sometimes does not light for up to 5 attempts and has been explosive when it finally does ignite. This has pretty well been the case from the time we first used this stove. We have two Electrolux dishwashers as we do a lot of entertaining. They do not always thoroughly clean the dishes and we have to do a secondary sink wash which was not the case with previous dishwashers we have owned.Lately our Electrolux refrigerator door light switch has been failing intermittently. All of these Electrolux appliances are now 2 years old. The dishwashers and stove have not been right since they were new. They were all bought as a suite when our house was new. I was heating up food in the microwave and a spark started to flare in the corner where the metal rack was held up by the plastic hook. It was a good thing that I didnt walk away from the microwave or who knows how large the fire could have gotten. I called the customer care number and because I didnt buy the extended warranty, they could not help me but provide me repair numbers which I would have to pay for. I asked if this kind of thing happens a lot with their products but they said no. Has anyone out there experienced the same thing I have? My appliance model is EI30MH55GSA.I just feel they should cover something like this because its a quality assurance problem that could definitely have led to a bigger problem (house/electrical fire). Why would I pay to repair this microwave when my confidence in their product has definitely wavered? I would prefer to put my money in a different manufacturer and have peace of mind. I regret buying all of their different appliances because most of them have a problem (oven time display doesnt work and refrigerator ice dispenser spits and continue to serve ice after release). We were really excited to buy their products when we bought our house believing we would receive a high end product associated with their costs, but instead we are greatly disappointed with what it really is. Again no oven for 2 weeks until he replaced the control panel and within days the problem started again. So another parts replacement and no oven for weeks. Now the problem started within hours and another replacement, so 3 repairs and still not working. After 3 months of repairs, no oven or stove as if it was plugged in it would continuously beep loudly Electrolux replaced the stove. So now a month with the new stove and its not working, continuous beeping and no buttons work.Tried calling to speak with a supervisor and no luck just the same (we really dont care attitude). So now back to all the stress and frustration and months of repairs. If anyone knows how to get a hold of a supervisor as customer services keeps telling us the supervisors will not take the phone would help. I have had an ongoing issue with the ice maker nearly since I purchased the product 4 years ago. I have paid for numerous Electrolux referred service companies to come out and try to resolve the issues. They have replaced the ice making unit. They have placed massive amounts of silicon around the unit. The lines keep freezing and now, the back of the refrigerator creates blocks of ice causing massive amounts of rust. From past posts, it appears I am not alone in this situation. Electrolux has completely blown me off telling me to call their service providers. The service providers quoted me $175 service call and additional for parts and labor. Electrolux is not taking responsibility for selling me a lemon of a refrigerator. This is past the point of any repair. I have proof of this refrigerator is a lemon since the beginning but after spending thousands on the refrigerator and in repairs. This should be deemed a lemon.

I spent around $2000 for what I thought was a top of the line Electrolux washer and dryer from Home Depot. After use for a couple of weeks the dryer started leaking water from the steam valve. I would dry my clothes only to find a pool of water in the dryer and wet clothes. I called Home Depot and they told me to call Electrolux. Electrolux sent a service person and they did nothing to fix the problem. The person blamed the installer stating it was an installation issue. I spent hours on the phone, holding, getting transferred and hung up on with Home Depot and the Install company. After another two weeks the installer came back to check the install. At this point the water was leaking from the dryer back to the floor pan and water was collecting in large amounts on the floor plan. The installer found no issues and showed me where the water was coming from the back of the dryer. Back to the phones again with Electrolux. Another week and the service company came back. They replaced the steam valve and said it was likely not closing. Afterwards I used the dryer again and the water was not leaking but the dryer made a rattling noise and it was getting hot to touch on outer sides of the machine. I called Electrolux and told them I was not comfortable using the dryer. This was supposed to be a brand new top of the line machine and was causing me nothing but issues, time off from work and countless hours on the phone. The Electrolux representative said I may be eligible for a replacement and that they would put in the request and I would hear back in 48 business hours. This was on a Tuesday and by Friday I still hadnt heard back. I called Electrolux again and spoke to two different representatives; the first one said there was no update and I had to just wait. When I asked to speak to a supervisor she transfer me to a customer survey and hung up on me. The second representative said the first person did not file the request correctly and that they would put in the request again and I would need to wait another 48 business hours. Again no response within 48 hours from Electrolux. I am exhausted in dealing with this company, their poor product and customer service. If I had the option I would just return it all and get another brand. What are my rights as a consumer?

They have set me up with 2 service companies (GURU from Bonifay, FL). Tried 2 weeks and they were a no show. The last one was JC Appliance Dothan, AL Called twice and text them twice and they confirmed the appt Electrolux was suppose to have made nor did they answer the call when they tried to call them themselves. So they set me up with AL POWER in between those two starting first part of December, came back end of December and 2 weeks later came back and I still I have. Company says, There is nothing we can do. It is due to heat and humidity. BUT I have had this freezer since 2011 and have had 8 years of all SEASON and it just started building up last year. AND if that is it why is only in those spots and not the entire freezer. I have contacted BBB and they have contacted the company but all Electrolux had to do was let them know they contacted me NOT helping to fix the issue. I have been dealing with this since Nov 11, 2018. I pay them to have good service companies that know what they are doing and show up. Why do I have to accept an unacceptable results. They cant prove its humidity and I cant prove it isnt EXCEPT LAST YEAR WAS NOT THE FIRST YEAR WE HAVE HAD HUMIDITY. We are in the south, we always have humidity. I pray the good Lord with help me find someone that can point me into the direction where I can get help. BBB suggested contacting Atty General which I did (hope I did it right) but with the recent shutdown doubt I will hear anything. I will NEVER buy another product from them. They just dont care. I wished I could convey to everyone just how little they do care.

We have had nothing but problems with our Electrolux appliances. This is not just one model, but many different appliances. When we moved into our new house we unfortunately purchased all Electrolux including fridge, stove, dishwasher, popup vent, and over/microwave combo. This was all about three years ago. Since purchasing new appliances, the fridge has needed repair twice, the vent hood fan went out and we replaced it with a different brand (Wolf), the stove and oven have had issues and just recently our dishwasher cooked itself. It made several popping sounds and we smelt electronics burning in the kitchen, then the dishwasher shut down and wont come on again. Its now being replaced with a Bosch dishwasher.Do yourself a favor and AVOID Electrolux and their brands. They make junk. Also be careful as some brands like Kenmore use Electrolux to manufacture their goods. Do your research and stay away. I hope my review will help someone save time and money. We spent about 12K on all these new appliances and after 3 years, we are already in the process of replacing them. Getting the fridge repaired was a major hassle with their repair department. Its going to be easier for us to just purchase new appliances and start clearing our house of Electrolux. Never again Electrolux!!! You have been banned for life from my house and Ive already told hundreds of friends to stay away from your brand.

I phoned up customer service regarding our oven - for whatever reason its gone all black inside. We heat it up to get rid of fatty deposits but this is something Ive never seen before. Its still under guarantee. A man from service force came out and took pictures of the inside then sent it to Electrolux. After a phone call the lady came back to me to say its not faulty and get a professional clean. You cant do this with a self-clean oven and already looked at this option before ringing. The top oven also cuts out when turning on but according to Electrolux its not faulty. We cant use the oven as black deposits go over the food when turning up the heat. After telling them this they promised to ring me up in the afternoon as they were going to look at this again. Anyway no phone call - left in limbo over Easter no cooker nightmare. Gave a mark of 1 because at least the lady on customer service seemed nice!!!

We have a maintenance contract w/ Electrolux for French Door ref purchased
We have a maintenance contract w/ Electrolux for French Door ref purchased Dec 2010.. We were advised by tech contracted with Elux that the company made this ice maker for 18 mos. Due to failure of same, ice maker replaced in new products. Currently, we have had no ice maker since Jul 7 2014. We have had terrible service from both Elux and local tech. All reps apologize for inconvenience, appreciate our frustration, take a msg and nothing happens. I have a ref/file number, still no resolution. Page 1 of the Maintenance service contract states No Lemon Guarantee with requirements that we have met. Being that we have a ref/file number, tech said unit would be replaced. Again, poor service from Electrolux service i.e advised that no photos recd, no report received when service provider, MasterTech contact Lydia, says photos were emailed and report was sent to Elux. MasterTech sent email photos to me yesterday at my request. I forwarded these emails to Elux to Stacy, customer service (?) rep at Elux with request that she has recd email. No response. I am going to contact local vendor as well as TV station, The Turko File, to report this terrible service. As a very satisfied customer with ref but very unsatisfied with ice maker issue and no real assistance other than empty apologies, its time to move to another level. We referred this style ref to friends who purchased after we did; they evidently have the upgraded ref w/ ice maker and love the product. That being said, I would not purchase an Elux ref EVER again and their contracted service technicians are paid very little - they are not paid for additional visits. A losing proposition for techs and then ultimately, us as consumers.

Purchased an extended warranty from Electrolux. Washing machine broke within 5 years of purchase. Repairman recommends replace machine. Customer service by Electrolux is a nightmare. They stonewall, and will not do anything; wont replace, nor will they authorize repair. We have been without a washer for over a week since repair estimate was submitted, by their repairman. Have lost all confidence in their product and their support. The support people are not helpful at all, every time you get on the phone you need to start from the beginning, incorrect information is put into the system. It is just really bad. It is as if they want you to stop buying their products.
