I have a brand new home with brand new appliances. Since we purchased the home in January the dishwasher has never worked correctly. We have had repair persons out to repair it 4-5 times. Every time they leave it is worse than when they started. Last Monday June 15th a repair person came out, the dishwasher does not work at all now! He told me he would put in a request for replacement, he did not.. So after receiving no contact regarding the dishwasher I called on Thursday June 18th, the lady that day told me she put in a request for replacement and someone would call me with 24 hours. After receiving no phone call as of Tuesday June 23rd I called back. That lady told me that I was told incorrectly and it could 48-72 hours. So after receiving no phone call as of Wednesday June 24th I called again. No supervisor was available but the lady I spoke to said she escalated the request and someone would call me within 24 hours. After again receiving no phone call as of today June 25th I called again. This time the lady said I was again mistold. I was now told it would be 3 business days, not 24 hrs.As you can see I can not understand why no one will call me back and my dishwasher has not been replaced/repaired. We were going on 12 days without a dishwasher. While I understand this isnt a 911 emergency I have four kids and a life. Being that my house is brand new and the appliances were an upgrade Im a lot pissed off!

If it were possible to rate Electrolux with zero stars I would have done that. I have had a nightmare of an experience with my Electrolux front loader washing machine and this was a VERY expensive machine. The first machine that was delivered to me didnt work at all so that had to be removed and another new machine brought it. That second machine worked for about 10 washes and it went out. Not only was this completely inconvenient to be without a washing machine again, and realizing that this incredible expensive machine was completely unreliable, Working with Electrolux with the warranty to have it serviced was a total nightmare. The local company they used under the warranty to come out and service the machine took almost 2 weeks to get me on their calendar so I was without a washing machine for that amount of time and I just had to wait it out, per Electrolux (thats even after going to their customer service management). When the company came to service it, they determined that it needed FOUR MAJOR PARTS REPLACED, which included a new water sensor, a new motor, new motherboard, etc. I had this SECOND new machine for less than 45 days. Not only that, but 3 of the 4 parts that needed replacing were on backorder. Electrolux was AWFUL to deal with, their customer service kept hanging up on me or passing me around when I was trying to find a solution to this problem and eventually they told me that I had to wait it out and they would get someone to service it when the parts came in. I was the one inconvenienced by their unreliable product and they had zero sympathy for my situation (including the fact that Im extremely pregnant and about to have a baby any day). I regret buying an Electrolux appliance and hope this review reaches a lot of people so others dont go through the same nightmare Ive been through with this company.

Don’t invest in any Electrolux appliances! It’s way too expensive and not well made stainless steel material. In less than a year the plastic around the pullout drawer broke. When I called inquiring about it, they told me I have to replace the entire drawer that would cost me over $700. The front of the refrigerator is rusting. The inside door panel is rusting and leaving yellow stains. Terrible company to deal with.

Purchased Electrolux Washer and Dryer 2 years ago against my better judgement. Now the Dryer has had an error code first time E61 and 1 day after repair it had E64 and again E61. A&E Factory Service (Warranty) are worthless. Been 6 weeks already and over $50 in Laundromat costs to dry clothes. I will NEVER Recommend an Electrolux appliance to anyone. My old Maytag lasted more than 10 years before any issues. This is junk but looks nice, nice junk alright!

I purchased new Electrolux dishwasher from Goedekers.com, was delivered to me in intact box, so nothing to show delivery problem, I open the box and could not see any problem, scheduled installation and the installer discover that under the cover blanket the unit was really beaten up. So I called Electrolux and Goedekers to report the problem. The dishwasher is under 12 mos warranty. They send different appliance repair people to fix it. And the conclusion was the same: Replacement because cant be fix.But after two mos Electrolux/Goedekers game come with the statement: the warranty does not cover the repair (actually Electrolux spent $600 on diagnostics and screwing-unscrewing) + I spend long hrs talking/asking/emailing/listening CS reps, managers, supervisors, corporate executives telling different statements, basically lying and not taking responsibilities. The worst experience in my lifetime and Im 64 years. All this Electrolux/Goedekers reps were advising me to do illegal actions to repair the damage for unit under warranty and all is my mistake that I did not uncover the manufactured blanket when I checked the delivery shipped in intact package box. Also accusing me that I damaged my new dishwasher - insane! I ready to expose the damage that Electrolux and Goedekers are doing.

Four years ago we bought an Electrolux French door refrigerator. After four years of replacing the ice maker numerous times, Electrolux replaced the refrigerator in August of 2014. Two weeks after delivery, the produce and meat werent freezing. A fan up ended being replaced. A month ago the ice maker went out. Electrolux replaces the ice maker and three weeks later it went out. When the repairman took ice maker out he showed me where the ice maker shorted out. He said it could have caught fire! Electrolux was to call within 48 hours for replacement. It is now 4 days and has not heard from them! Dont ever buy Electrolux!

I have had an ongoing issue with the ice maker nearly since I purchased the product 4 years ago. I have paid for numerous Electrolux referred service companies to come out and try to resolve the issues. They have replaced the ice making unit. They have placed massive amounts of silicon around the unit. The lines keep freezing and now, the back of the refrigerator creates blocks of ice causing massive amounts of rust. From past posts, it appears I am not alone in this situation. Electrolux has completely blown me off telling me to call their service providers. The service providers quoted me $175 service call and additional for parts and labor. Electrolux is not taking responsibility for selling me a lemon of a refrigerator. This is past the point of any repair. I have proof of this refrigerator is a lemon since the beginning but after spending thousands on the refrigerator and in repairs. This should be deemed a lemon.

We recently purchased an Electrolux Oven. The unit came highly recommend on several sites online. The unit arrived with damage, including a defective control panel. Electrolux was initially very friendly and professed a desire to do whatever was needed to fix the unit. In the end, they admitted that they had no parts for the oven and would have to manufacture some. It would take at least a month. They then discussed replacing the oven, but decided it needed to be repaired at least once. Of course there were no parts to repair it. In the end, they did nothing. So we bought another oven. Customer service gets an F.

I purchased a refrigerator in October 2017 and by January 2018 it completely stopped staying cold. A servicer was scheduled to come out within 2 weeks so all of my food went bad. A $50 good gesture gift card was mailed out to a short time later. A few months later the exact same thing happened and I lost all of my food again. If that was not enough, in September 2018, my refrigerator stopped staying cold AGAIN and AGAIN I lost all of my food. This issue was eventually elevated to the corporate supervisors, in which I had the displeasure of speaking to Shanell out of Augusta, GA. She was extremely rude and lacked basic customer service skills. She stated that these refrigerators are MAN MADE and thats what happens sometimes. At this time, I have been advised itll be roughly a week before anyone can come out to diagnose the issue and apparently theres only one technician in my area and he only does service work on Wednesdays. I will never, ever, purchase another Electrolux product. Ive never had this many issues with an appliance company at all. Buyers beware!

I’ve had this fridge for about two years now and I still love it. I had my cabinets professionally repainted and new countertops put in so the spot for the fridge was built in and therefore couldn’t fit a subzero without changing out the cabinetry. This fridge gave me a similar look for a fraction of the price and I couldn’t be happier with it.

Feb 16, 2011, I spend $3500 on an Electrolux refrigerator. On Nov 28, 2013, after 4 repair visits for the ice maker, the salesperson on the phone strongly encourages me to buy an extended warranty ($408). I did. I got the Electrolux dishwasher as a package from our home builder. We had problems from the start. Within the first year, while it was still under warranty, we had to get it serviced three times. It would not dry the dishes, the pump failed so it would discharge the water. Right now the touch controls are unusable. I have to open-close the door ~10 times before I can simply press start. Forget about selecting any custom wash cycle. Every so often even that does not work and I have to cycle the power to the unit at the fuse box. We are waiting for the unit to die to replace it. My only consolation is that I did not spend any money on service. I am never buying another Electrolux appliance again, and I am telling everyone I know to follow suit.

I have made numerous call and have been given the complete runaround, such-as They sent the paperwork to the wrong department. The technician from Fleet appliance didnt contact the right department so that you could get a new appliance. We have to resubmit the paperwork that could take up to 7 to 10 business day. I will never buy another Frigidaire product or take an extended warranty with Electrolux. William **.

Electrolux has been nothing but an aggregation. I carefully selected this wonderful looking piece of equipment only to have the fridge konk out. Service was nothing but a run around...3 service visits and replacement of the mother board still resulted in an epic failure of now both the fridge and freezer. Local service company completely useless. Cannot express order parts. Dont even have basic parts for something that apparently is a chronic issue! Its going on 3 months with no fridge. Electrolux totally unresponsive pointing finger at repair co stating they cannot replace unit unless the company deems it unrepairable. Service co is so bad they move at a snails pace. Third visit stated that had never been to the house for a call before. Too many crossed wires. RECOMMENDATION: BUY A KENMORE FROM SEARS!

In 2009, we purchased all Electrolux products from Lowes. BIG MISTAKE..... The oven/cook top is now receiving the 5th service call. Do not self clean this oven.... it can only take about 10 times and then one of the 8 boards will burn and fail. The fridge has had 4 service calls. The control board for ice maker fails once a year. The plastic shelves break. The Ice maker bin broke from ice dropping into it. The microwave has had one. The dishwasher has operated with no service calls but it is not as good at fully cleaning than others I have had in the past.Lowes is no help. Electrolux customer service has no ability to assist in persistent issues. They just say we need to purchase the warranty. We could have bought a new oven with the money we have paid on repairs and the cost of a warranty would by now paid for a new oven as well. 2 weeks ago the fridge was repaired. Luckily we have a 12 year old fridge in the garage that has never had service once as a back up. Our gas grill is our back up when we need oven/cook top service once a year.

We purchased new front loading washer and dryer this winter for our new home. 6 months of use and the washer stopped draining. Warranty service tech came out and found the drain line plugged deep inside the machine. To fix he had to remove the top and front of the machine to get to a plastic inline bowl that he said is prone to becoming plugged. We have a lab and he said we need to shake out everything before washing as the dogs hair will clog the machine. This repair is not for the amateur and if it wasn’t under warranty it would have been about $240. Can’t believe the poor design and difficult accessibility to do routine cleaning. Our dog is 8 years old and we’ve never had a problem like this. Will think twice about buying another one when the time comes.

I have been waiting 6 weeks for my washer to get fixed. I can’t seem to get anyone in the warranty customer service department at RC Willey to tell me at what point I will have a working washer. The repair company has been out three times to repair the washer with no success. Prior to this I had the dryer fixed 2 times using the Electrolux first year warranty and one time through the RC Willey Warranty. Each repair takes a minimum of 2 weeks to complete. The washer/dryer set is 2 years old. I have contacted Electrolux and they said I have a parts warranty but will have to pay out of pocket if I don’t use the warranty. What is the point of purchasing a warranty if you never have a working product? I’m trying really hard to understand why it is so hard to complete the repairs on the unit I have. If you sell a warranty you should stand behind it. I will never buy Electrolux again and most certainly will never purchase anything from RC Willey. Extremely disappointed in both companies.

We purchased 4 Electrolux kitchen appliances, a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and range 10 years ago. Wanted all my appliances to match. The range worked except the oven panel on the bottom started to bubble. I called to get it replaced and they told me it wasnt made anymore so I had to live with it. After 2 years the microwave broke and had to replace it, 3 years later the microwave broke again and had to buy another. Then 4 years went by, and the refrigerator broke down completely! Of course, I kept saying - I want them to all match so we bought a new refrigerator. Well about 6 months later, you guessed it, the microwave broke. That was our third one. When I called to see if it could be fixed or replace the panel found out it was so expensive had to buy another. When speaking to customer support I happen to mention about my oven panel. Said yes, they did have a replacement so I ordered it in February. About a month ago it started to bubble just like the last one. Last week I called them and said had to pay for another. Which I will not do. Have not mentioned my dishwasher because I dont use it!! Sure it would break if I did. Hope you were able to read this long experience. In 10 years I have had 3 microwaves, 2 refrigerators and a oven panel that looks terrible. All Electrolux!!! Terrible!!!

I made the mistake of purchasing an Electrolux bottom freezer refrigerator in 2010. It was not cheap ($3300.00) at the time. I liked the design. The ice maker has not worked since I purchased it. There is always something wrong. Two months ago the ice maker was not freezing ice. I contacted the warranty company and they said they would send someone out. Two weeks went by and I heard nothing. After cleaning up water I called the warranty company again and received a very nice lady (Pamela) and she sent someone different out. They came out and three weeks later put in a new part. That was last Friday. I still do not have ice. Phone calls (3) to Mr. Appliance have not been returned and the call to the warranty company was very abrupt. Latisha could have cared less.

All our appliances in the kitchen are from Electolux Icon. In the first year our microwave oven broke down. A few months later our refrigerator did the same. Now our dishwasher is on the fritz. In less than 3 years we had three product failures. I contacted Customer service a number of times and the only solution they advised is to purchase a service plan. The product is very attractive, a bit costly and not reliable. My argument with Electrolux is that service plans are good for older products. As a consumer I should expect 5-8 years of quality performance before we need to service. It is evident that these products are not made to last but heavy dependency on service plans as a solution.

After buying a Sears top mount refrigerator several years ago, which was made by Electrolux, we had a service technician confirm that we are missing the connecting drain tube that would have routed the dripping defrost water from the freezer to the drain pan. Because the leaking only occurred sporadically, when the freezer was defrosting, it took us awhile to figure out the problem. The insurance company for Electrolux, (Sedgewick), wouldnt look at our claim, however, unless it was verified by a Sears service tech at a cost of $96.00. We are measuring 1-4 oz. of water daily that we are forced to collect in a cup, and empty daily, to avoid any further damage to our cabinets and baseboards. The replacement part is approximately $50.00 with at least 4x that amount in additional labor to attach it.This is unacceptable; that part should have already been attached when we bought the refrigerator. We are already out $96.00 for the service call that accomplished nothing. I specifically indicated to the repair center the part that we needed and this information was never passed on to the service tech. When we documented our complaints to Electrolux, a very unhelpful, and unfriendly Claims Representative made it clear that there was nothing they would do for us. We understood that because of the age of the refrigerator they wouldnt replace it, or pay to repair our damaged baseboards, but we had hoped they would at least reimburse the service call. Rather than spend any more money on this refrigerator we are going to replace it and never buy another Electrolux product.

I purchased an Electrolux dishwasher from Lowes (never again). I paid 1200.00 dollars for the unit. After the first use, there was water left in the dishwasher that wouldnt drain. I called for service repair and a week later they came out to fix it and the same problem still occurred. I had to use my shop vac to remove the water. I called for the second service call and the tech advised me that I needed a new garbage disposal because food was backing up, causing the pump to burn out. I purchased a brand new disposal and had it installed. It still doesnt drain. I have been getting the run around from Electrolux and Lowes and neither company is providing me with good customer service. I requested a store credit so I could get an replacement and I was told I needed 3 service calls before it could be approved. Electrolux Dual Fuel defective Oven F15 motherboard - To begin, the word motherboard defines the perfect depiction of the defective range (item/product) the Electrolux company manufactures. I recently purchased a home that included a 30 slip in Electrolux dual fuel range that the previous owners had originally paid over $2,900.00. Having seen the wonderful Kelly Ripa television commercials, I figured the product must be good if she endorses their products. Within 2 months of having lived here and using the stove, the F15 code has flash on the motherboard of the range which then also shuts down the use of the control board. Doing some investigation, I learned that the previous homeowner had already replaced the motherboard 2 times previously since owning the range. Now into the two months of new home ownership, I am glad that I had taken out a homeowners warranty to cover repairs in the new house. I just got back from Best Buy and hhgreggs to price out a replacement range and was shocked to see Electrolux continues to produce the same style range (which at hhgreggs price was over $3,000.00). Thank God I had my homeowners warranty to replace the motherboard until I find a new replacement range and dump this inferior product. Kelly Ripa... You sold customers down the river with a BAD product that is not backed by the company making it.

In January, 2017 we purchased the top of the line Electrolux Washer and Gas Dryer. Shortly after the washing machine was installed, water started to leak from under the unit. It flooded our laundry room. A week later a tech showed up and diagnosed that a pump was installed incorrectly at the factory. Two weeks later it was replaced. Guess what? It continued to leak. This time I asked for a different tech to come out to ensure he knew what he was doing. He determined it was a different pump that was cracked so another part had to be ordered. By this time I was so upset that I demanded a new machine. After much negotiation, Electrolux agreed to replace the washer. Now last week, our dryer stopped working. We started to notice about a month ago that it was taking longer to dry clothes. Finally on Jan. 5th exactly one year from when we took delivery, the machine stopped working. I called Electrolux Jan. 8th and they said the one year warranty is up so I have to pay for a service call. The customer service at this company is terrible and they forget who is paying their salaries. I will never buy another Electrolux appliance and I urge others to avoid them like the plague!

I did a kitchen reno 3 years ago and through lots of contemplation on which manufacturer to purchase our appliance package from, we chose Electrolux. We purchase the wave technology fridge and Induction stove. We could not have purchase any higher end of a product from Sears other than the GE Profile package, but they did not release an induction cooktop at the time. WHAT A MISTAKE!!! The stove has had several service calls as one of the burners has no heating intensity. The service people that have been coming out have no clue what they are doing and cannot fix the stove. They basically say it is normal. Still working on that problem to get it rectified. We also noticed our laminate floor was swelling a few weeks ago and after investigating the possible cause, I pulled out the fridge and sure enough the floor was all damaged and stained with rust. I had Sears service come to investigate and the end result is it cannot be repaired as it has a manufacturing defect. Seems that Electrolux just happened to not design the fridge with any insulation at the back of the fridge. WOW! I purchased the Extended warranty from Sears due to the cost of these High End appliance and the high cost to purchase.Well that fell flat on support. Sears has offered a credit of $1170.00 toward a purchase of a new replacement fridge as my compensation for the NO Lemon policy on the warranty. Not happy with this result, I contacted Electrolux customer service and asked to speak with a Manager. I was bluntly told that there was no further person to talk to and that Electrolux does not care about any issues after the initial year is over and it will be impossible to expect any input or assistance to replace the fridge that was improperly designed and built! Unbelievable... I am now going to be financially burdened with a $3000 plus cost out of pocket!! What a kick in the teeth after thinking if I purchased High End (JOKE) product, it would pay off.It is looking like I will have to replace my fridge and will now have mismatched appliances in my kitchen, especially since it will not be an Electrolux product. That would be a cold day in Hell!!! I cannot believe what Electrolux is pulling off here. I would be willing to start a class action lawsuit if we could group enough people together to fight this company for selling Improperly manufactured product and not owning up to it.

We bought a Frigidaire refrigerator back in June, 2018. In August 1st, the refrigerator started to act up and stop making any ice or throwing any water. Since it is still under the first year warranty covered by the company, I called Electrolux to have this issue fixed. They have sent five repairs technician from two different service companies to fix this issue and have not fix this yet. Every time a new technician comes to diagnose it, they have to order a part. They have replaced so many parts and still not fixed yet. After three months waiting for technicians and parts to come, I request Electrolux to replace the unit and they rejected the request. They told me that they cant replace it until a technician tells them its non-fixable (the technician will never tell them its non-fixable because hes making money every time he comes to diagnose/repair it). In the meantime, we cant use our product after we paid so much. Electrolux does not stand up for their products, they will have you on and on until you give up and suck it up or until the warranty expires so the problem can be on you.

DO NOT BUY ELECTROLUX! I wish I had read reviews before purchasing these appliances. Theyre 14 months old and the dryer will not work and the spin cycle on the wash machine sounds like an airplane taking off in my laundry room. They were going to send a tech, I booked a day off work and they didnt show up. They then passed me off to an approved service company and Im still waiting - going on two weeks. GARBAGE PRODUCTS!!! Our experience is very much in line with previous reviews from other people. We purchased a refrigerator for a tenants apartment in February. It broke in June and the run-around started. 5 on-site calls from technicians and the problem couldnt be solved. We meanwhile purchased another unit from a different manufacturer and Electrolux insist to send another technician. Never seen anything like this ever before (we probably purchased 50 or 60 refrigerators over the past years). The time wasted by us, the tenant, customer service staff and money for the technicians could have bought 5 top of the line appliances... Never again and I will take Electrolux to court. No way that we spend another minute to entertain another service call. We want our money back.

Bought a new front load washer and dryer from large local furniture & appliance distributor. An upgrade we thought from the used appliances we got from my fiances parents (which should be noted had last 12... yes, TWELVE years). Not even 3 months in and the washer quit. The issue - the flywheel in the back came loose, or was simply not tightened properly when built (HINT - manufacturer DEFECT!!!), and cut deep grooves in the back of the hard plastic housing, so far you can see through it. And it eventually threw the belt off, thus giving the tub no agitation to wash or spin. That was how we discovered something was broken. Completely useless washer. And that is exactly how Electrolux is now working with us (LOL) to resolve the problem. THEY are completely useless!!! Even their local authorized service company confirmed it was inoperable, that it was irreparable AND it was a manufacturer DEFECT. And to further the agony, the apparent leakage of water over probably a few weeks, has caused water damage and mold to the brand new linoleum and woodwork we put into the laundry room as part of our upgrade. And their response - file a claim with OUR insurance company and then see if theyll subrogate. WHY should we do that when YOUR APPLIANCE DEFECT caused the problem?! I say again, Electrolux is completely USELESS! NEVER again will we buy ANYTHING Electrolux. We thought these new washer & dryer were a dream, but now has turned into an incredible nightmare!Hey Electrolux, heres a noble idea... Stand behind your products and take care of the consumer and maybe even small problems will be overlooked and youll get a better reputation. NOT with us mind you, that is utterly shot to heck! Completely useless!!! In closing, AVOID ELECTROLUX PRODUCTS AT ALL COSTS! Save yourselves from the insanity and stress. Weve been hassling with them almost 3 weeks now and no washer. They are a horrible company to deal with. Thank you for reading.

Wow where do I start. Purchased for almost $3800 in 8/09. Less then a yr old, all the door hinges had to be replaced with a upgraded hinge. Three months later the door catches broke and had to be replaced. Six months later the ice maker was making very loud popping noises. It had to be replaced, not once but twice with again upgraded unit. The ice makers still makes lots of strange noises. Service tech says thats normal? The final straw came the week prior to this past Christmas when the info panel read an error code of SY EF. Called for service and after several days they came out to advise me it was the evaporator fan and control board. The unit ran continuously trying to keep at requested temp, all to no avail. You would think an appliance would last longer than 5 years without a major malfunction. Not so with Electrolux. Still waiting for parts to arrive, 2 weeks later. I would go into additional details about the dishwasher and microwave oven at this time. Junk. Ive learned my very expensive lesson.

We bought a new Electrolux refrigerator in July of 2014 and were told by our sales person that Electrolux was a higher grade brand. We believed him and opted to spend a little more to get what we thought would be a bit better quality. Were we wrong! One year and one week to the day, our wiring harness burned out, causing my entire house to smell of burn plastic. All of my food took on the taste and smell of burnt plastic and my refrigerator stopped cooling. When I called Electrolux, they basically told me we were out of luck since we were out of warranty, but they could offer me an extended warranty for $575 (what a deal). We have spent the last 2 days fighting with them over this piece of crap refrigerator that lasted us an entire year and we can either buy the extended warranty or be forced to buy an entirely new refrigerator. Needless to say, I will NEVER buy an Electrolux appliance as long as I live. I will go out of my way to tell people what a substandard product they manufacture and how they provide no concern for customer service or satisfaction. As a consumer I have to wonder why companies push extended warranties when they claim that their products are superior in quality. Shouldnt a refrigerator last longer than 1 year?

The ice maker has never worked. It does not maintain the right temperature to keep the ice from melting. Ice turns into solid block and is not usable. All the parts that could be replaced have been replaced as per comments from technician. There is a design flaws and the technicians have repeated that they have many issues with these refrigerators. Under the service contract, a replacement is called for after 3 similar calls. We have asked for a replacement and all Electrolux does is to send more technicians trying to wear us down. We purchased a refrigerator/freezer with an automatic ice maker in the door on 12/9/2013. On October 6, 2014 we needed to have the water dispenser serviced as it ran by itself every minute all evening and damaged a big area as it ran into the basement, ruining ceiling tiles. A service person replaced the dispenser module which was under warranty. This morning when we got up we found that it had again been doing the same thing and again ran into the basement damaging more ceiling tiles. Now the real problem is that Electrolux cannot find a technician that will service our area and are waiting for a call back. We found a company that would service Electrolux products but they are checking to see if they are an authorized dealer. How long do we wait for service or for a call back? I will never buy an Electrolux appliance again. The same part shouldnt break after 8 months.

Over 3 years ago, we replaced our kitchen with all new Electrolux appliances. Since then the bottom freezer, French door refrigerator has had the ice maker replaced 3 times and repaired many more. For the first 6 months we owned it, the ice maker did not work. Electrolux kept sending incomplete/incorrect parts to the repairman and they still would not give us a new refrigerator. After the warranty expired, we purchased the extended warranty for $350+ per year, for two years, then we stopped. The ice maker has broken again; we spent $450 for a repair this week and it still doesnt work and now they want another $250 for another part.We are beyond angry; we are exhausted by this refrigerator, process, company. We have decided No More! and for now will make ice in trays while I go out to every store in town and begin researching the products, companies and service records to buy a new refrigerator. It is a very sad day in America when American companies treat their citizens this way and we will absolutely never purchase another Electrolux or Frigidaire product. They should be zapped with a fine, like automakers, etc.

Model EIFLW50LIW front load washer. Purchased June 2014. Had required (certified Electrolux) repairman (due to warranty) out several times within the first 12 months. The harness kept shaking loose and tumbler would go off balance and belt popped off. I had to wait a week or two for them to come out and then had to take off from work each time while they fixed it. The last time, they literally had all the parts on my kitchen floor and I asked them why Electrolux just did not send a new machine from the factory. Wasted 5 hours of my day, two repairmen 5 hours and I had to wait for them to come 10 days which meant going over to my mother-in-laws to do laundry. Now 12 months later the belt popped off again but I noticed that the washer was leaking. It revealed severe rubbing on the plastic which was worn through. This unit never made any rubbing noise, clanking and was not out of balance like the issue previously. I called Electrolux and told them that their certified repairmen obviously did something wrong and now it leaks and the harness shakes loose. All they could do for me is give me a break on parts. If your front load washer has belt or harness issues, demand a new one. Repairmen can make Band-Aid fixes only to a poorly manufactured item.

I purchased a brand new Zanussi, European brand from Electrolux, washing machine in May 2011. It was not shipped through to Brazil. When we arrived and tried to use it for first time in November 2011, the machine would not even start. I contacted Electrolux in London and got referred to Brazilian side. I contacted Brazilian side and got referred to local service company. I contacted the service company, who immediately responded by sending a repairman the next day. The repairmen could not resolve the problem and promised to contact us back shortly once he obtains the diagrams for this particular type. I never heard back from him.I called again in January and got a new repairman. This one confirmed that two parts are faulty and must be obtained by them. I never heard back from him again. I contacted again in February, in March and in April. Nothing is being done. In fact, each time we call, the registration number they gave us the last time is incorrect, so we are told.So not only does Electrolux honor its warranty obligations, they do not deliver on promises. They also try to lie and cancel out warranty policies by providing incorrect record numbers. I bet that when we call end of April, when our warranty nearly runs out, they will not be able to assist as our warranty has run out. What a disgrace of a company!

Microwave (Model # EI30BM60MSA / Serial # KG42833822) I purchased a newly constructed home on 03/04/2015. I paid an upgrade charge to have Electrolux appliances installed in my kitchen. I received a one year warranty. Six months after owning the microwave the door handle broke off upon opening it. There are two non-body building adults and no children in the house. It was covered under warranty. A technician was dispatched. He was unable to replace the door handle and had to replace the entire door (destroying my wall in the process). Six months after that, the same thing happened with the door handle breaking off. No coverage as warranty expired eleven (11) days prior. I called Electrolux customer service and spoke with a supervisor. Although polite, she definitely was reading from a memorized script (really frustrating). She was unable to assist with my issue beyond just sending a replacement door handle. I explained to her my disappointment with Electrolux products and she stated she would make note of my complaint. Amazing.I will reiterate my extreme dissatisfaction with Electrolux products and its customer support. This issue is clearly an ongoing one as it has happened twice within a year. At the very least, Electrolux should dispatch and pay for a technician to replace the door handle ESPECIALLY since the last technician found it impossible to perform. If a technician found it impossible, what makes Electrolux think that a customer can replace the handle? Stand by your products Electrolux.

Purchased a new Electrolux Refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer in 2011. A year after purchase the refrigerator started breaking down. First the icemaker, then cooling/freezing, then the ice maker again. The unit was determined to be a lemon. Electrolux agreed to replace the refrigerator, and assist with repair cost. They replaced the refrigerator, and took the old one. When we asked for assistance with the cost of repair they demanded the serial/model number sticker and the original bill of sale. They were given both for the replacement. A year later the replacement refrigerator developed a pinhole in the back and began leaking water. We have now been dealing with getting a replacement for six months. At first they said they could find a replacement in our area. The appliance store that replaced the first one has a new one in their showroom. Then they said they would refund the money spent but demanded the invoice/bill of sale. We did not purchase the second refrigerator they replaced it. We do not have a bill of sale. Now they are requesting letter stating the problem, and that I take the serial/model plate from the inside of the refrigerator. When I said it is unlikely that I will be able to get it off in one piece, the representative said she knows that. All correspondence we have had with them contained the model number including the last letter on June 4, 2015. Yet, I still have to do the impossible to move to the next step. There is no replacement for just the paddle so you have to buy the entire water dispensing system. I called Electrolux who told me to buy an extended warranty yearly for the price of $196. I will never ever buy another Electrolux product again. In short ZERO service. When the repairman contacted Electrolux (from our home), they read what the error code said off a script and didnt ask any other symptoms. That did not give either of us any confidence as they they did say to start with that repair and see if it works. START with a $700 plus repair AND SEE IF THAT WORKS??? I purchased a Electrolux washer and dryer in the fall of 2015 and it has broken 4-5 times. Each time it takes 2-3 weeks for repair. This August they replaced the drum, a plastic piece that goes around the drum and the bearings. Five months later the plastic piece has started leaking a lot. So I have been out of a washer for 2 weeks now... never have I had a washer break so much... I bought it because this was suppose to be the best. Boy were they wrong!Updated on 1/15/2018: I recently wrote a review on my Electrolux washer. It was leaking water and the service person came out and said a plastic piece that wraps around the drum had cracked and they had to replace the drum, bearings and the plastic piece all had just been replaced 5 months before. It took 2 months for them to replace them 5 months ago. For 2 months I was without a washer. They replaced the part Jan 4th. The drum and plastic piece were covered in rust which is why my clothes were getting rust on them. Well 8 days later the washer will not drain. This is the fifth time since I bought the washer 2 1/2 years ago that it has broke. The insurance company says the same Part has to break 5 times before they replace it. This is the 2 or 3rd time the pump has broke. For a high-end washer this washer has been nothing but broke.

We had purchased a 3 year warranty, but this happened after the warranty expired. We hate the stove. It was and still is very expensive and a piece of junk.

We bought Electrolux products in 2008 -- Electrolux Icon dishwasher, oven and stove. In the first year, we had to have the oven fixed twice and the dishwasher fixed as well. The stove never did work right, but the gas company said that they did not know what was wrong with it. 2 burners blow up at you with a poof of fire when turning it on. The store we bought the appliances from were no help. Now 7 years later and our dishwasher rack has rusted out. Of course, Electrolux service is terrible. They dont have any replacement parts for the rack. Now we will have to buy a new dishwasher because our plates dont stay standing. I will NEVER buy Electrolux again. Terrible products, terrible service.

I purchased a new Electrolux slide in range with a self cleaning oven in 2010. At the time I also purchased an extended warranty and am so glad that I did. Since then every time I clean the oven using the self cleaning feature, the oven comes out spotless and then refuses to work. Each time it has been repaired it has needed a new motherboard. The technicians say it is a common problem that they encounter with this model range. I love the range, it is a ceramic top...easy to clean... easy to use. I simply would like the oven to work as it is meant to. This was a $3000 range and I have been very disappointed in the design flaw of the self clean feature.

I had a GE refrigerator for 21 years. For my 50th birthday, I asked for an Electrolux refrigerator (no comments on this please). What a mistake. It is less than 5 years old and I have spent almost $2,000 on repairs. Yep, learned my lesson on extended warranties. The water line has not worked for almost 6 months. The recommended repair company told me to open the freezer door. Wow, thats impressive. The clip on one of my sliding drawers cracked last week. I was on hold for 20 minutes. Gave up and ordered what I thought was the right part online for $15 dollars. This little plastic part is about 1 in diameter. Guess what? Didnt fit. I spent one hour on the phone today trying to order the correct part after I finally reached a supervisor. Seems you cant order the clip alone. It comes with the slider but no directions on how to install. So how much would a repairman cost? What a joke. Never, ever again. The worst customer service ever.

I purchased a side by side fridge at the end of 2009. Something leaked out of it, and ruined my slate floor in the fall of 2010. The repairman could not figure it out. On the third visit from another repairman for the fridge, after the control panel went up a second time, the leak was determined to come from the plug at the bottom of the door. Electrolux sent me paperwork to file a claim with their liabilities department, which I did at the beginning of October. To date, I have not heard back from them, and they will not return any calls, or emails. After spending thousands of dollars on appliances, you would think the customer service would be good. I cannot even begin to understand the total lack of customer service. I have done everything the liabilities department asked, and I would like a reimbursement for the damages to have them repaired.

In January 2016 I purchased an Electrolux electric range, model E130EF4CQSB, serial number AF55000584. In February 2017 while I was cooking dinner one evening, the glass cooktop suddenly shattered. I called Electrolux customer service and was told to email pictures of the damage, which I did. About five minutes later Electrolux called me back to say that their technician had determined that I caused the damage by dropping a heavy object onto the cooktop. I protested that I had done nothing of the kind, but was told the technicians judgment was final and my (five-year) warranty on the cooktop would not be honored. Subsequently I had to pay $570.40 to have the cooktop replaced. I do not believe that Electrolux has a technician standing by at all times to assess broken cooktops. I think the company simply defrauds customers by declaring falsely that customer abuse has occurred.

Units are made in Mexico and are poorly tested, made and stood behind by Frigidaire who warranties this 23 sq ft stainless unit for 1 year. You can get an extended 3 year warranty called a Platinum star warranty as an option. Little faith it might last one year as we see it. Numerous complaints are on the web primarily centering around the a ice maker. We are on # 3 ice maker in 6 years since purchase. Customer service in Ga. was a TOTAL waste of time and we were advised no recalls or bulletins had been issued on any model. Wished you could have heard their lack of concern. We guess after waiting over 30 min. for an agent, most people would have bailed on the call and we called first thing in the morning. Keeps the complaints down if you cant wait an hour to get help. In addition to the ice maker, we now have a ce code alert on the front led panel and no lights in the unit. After shelling out 3 service calls for this fine work of refrigeration- this will be our last, The repair is scheduled in 12 hours and it will be sold.We called our place of purchase Goedekers in St. Louis and discussed our displeasure to the owner whose sales people pitched this as a great deal for $3500 in 2000. The sales people placed it in the category of Sub Zero, Wolf, and Viking. Goedekers were asked today to have the local or regional rep. contact us but they doubted we would hear from them so now we are warning all consumers. We are on city water and when the unit was installed-GOEDEKERS ran the water line. To replace it if that contributes to our issues- the current repair people now say I need an additional plumber charge to re-install it. More charges to remedy a piece of crap that had little testing on it before it was placed in the market place. Craigs list will be seeing this soon- we pity the buyer but will just say we are going with another brand and this runs fine now. It is true Electrolux sucks - in vacuums and now refrigerators. DO NOT BUY ANY MODEL OR YOU WILL SUFFER BADLY. Our model is: EW23CS65GS1. You have been warned.

My son was sleeping when 9:30 AM he awoke to find flames coming from the melted rubber at the top of the freezer door. The flames were igniting baseball cards, etc on top of the refrigerator and reached the ceiling too! He opened the freezer door and flames shot out of the freezer! He closed the freezer door and immediately called the Fire Dept. He then threw water on top of the refrigerator until the fire persons arrived. They came in under 5 minutes time. They told me if no one was home, the whole house would have went up in flames...The ceiling is ripped open to make sure the fire didnt spread to main floor, the walls, cabinets were burnt, cloths and the flooring has water and smoke damage... The whole house wreaks of the smell of smoke. And as the NYFD said we were lucky... BEWARE..... I decided to go online.. They have highly rated products but the service is just awful. Bought through Sears a brand new 8 ft gas dryer (EFMG617STT) and it started making a noise right after installation. The installation person told us the noise would go away. Over 3 months the noise turned into a vibration until we couldnt run it. Had signed up for the Electrolux Platinum Star Limited Warranty so called up and they sent out a service repair company (All County Appliance Service) who determined it needed a blower wheel and motor. It has now been 2 weeks without them being able to fix the dryer. My wife has spent more than 10 hours on the phone tracking it down and no-one can tell where the parts are and when they can fix it. It turns out the repair company has a 1 star rating on Yelp and they dont even answer the phone most of the time and when they do, they refer to Electrolux regarding sending the parts. Electrolux (we have talked to 3 different people) say they have many clients except us and we need to wait. When we contacted Sears (which we have 3 times and they hanged up last time) they say we need to contact Electrolux. Never seen anything like this...ever. Especially when you pay $1200 for a top of the line appliance.

My wife and I bought a brand new home, with brand new Electrolux appliances
My wife and I bought a brand new home, with brand new Electrolux appliances 2 years ago. EVERY Electrolux appliance we bought has had major problems within the first 18 months, and continues to break. The following all happened within the first 18 months of owning the appliances, and with fairly light use. The microwave simply stopped working. The control panel went black and would not response. We paid nearly $1000 for parts and labor to fix it (as this happened just barely after the warranty expired). 6 months later, the same thing happened. No support or coverage, although the technician was quite insistent that he never sees problems with these appliances and that we buy an extended warranty from him, which we did not.The refrigerator door handle became very loose. $90 repair bill. Technician was again quite insistent that he never sees problems with these appliances and that we buy an extended warranty from him, which we did not. About a month later, the freezer drawer handle became very loose. $90 repair bill. The technician was quite insistent that we buy an extended warranty from him. We did not. The Oven stopped working. Simply no heat. Everything looked like it was working, but there would be no heat. $540 repair bill. The technician once again claimed that these appliances almost never have any issues, and was quite insistent that we buy an extended warranty from him. We did not. The dishwasher top rack continues to break loose from its rollers, requiring everything be removed, including unscrewing the brackets for the top rack, and remounting it. This is a very poor design, and seems to be a very common problem on this model. The stove top knobs have all broken loose, and the stove top ignition has stopped working several times. You may be thinking that we must really be rough on our appliances. No.. We barely use them. Our kids have moved away and it is just my wife and I. We are gentle with them, and try to be very careful, especially with what now seems to be extremely fragile workmanship. We have owned several homes and many, many kitchen appliances... We have never had any issues (even when all of our kids were at home and the appliances saw much greater use). Electrolux is without question the very worst. You may be asking why we dont replace them, instead of repairing them. Good question, and we probably will. Of course the cabinets were designed around these appliances, and they all match aesthetically, which is a big part of the reason.

Purchased a Frigidaire Gallery side by side in December and had it delivered to a new house. We purchased January 23rd and the fridge was delivered the next day. On February 4th I came home from work and found my kitchen and dining room flooded and the hardwood floors in the dining room are warped and water-stained. The reason for the water damage was that the water in the door of the fridge came on by itself and ran for hours. A couple of days later, I got a call from Wendy of Electrolux in the claims department, letting me know that I should claim with my home owners insurance because if I file one with Electrolux, I will have to get to estimates and they will only pay a prorated amount on my wood floor because the house was built in 2005. TWO WEEK OLD, SIDE BY SIDE FLOORS HOME AND I SPENT 3 HOURS CLEANING UP THE WATER, AND NOW I HAVE TO PAY FOR DAMAGE CAUSED BY ELECTROLUX.

My 15 year old machine packed up just before Christmas. Given that my sons family of 5 were to stay with me for 2 weeks of the holidays, I decided to buy a new machine rather than have the old one fixed. Nowadays its difficult to check machines out in showrooms, so looking online, I ordered an Electrolux front loader from Home Depot. Free installation and theyd remove the old machine at no cost. Great. Id get it taken care of before the family arrived. The machine worked for the first couple of times, but after a few days, stopped spinning. By this time, Home Depot had washed their hands of me because it was beyond their 48 hour return policy. I contacted Electrolux to request either a new machine, or my money back. They insisted on sending out a technician, who, called the support department to be informed the office was closed for the holidays.I contacted Electrolux again who said theyd send out another technician. I explained that I didnt want a 2 week old machine repaired, I either wanted a new one or my money back. Of course, this wont happen and I have to have another technician review the machine. I have now been waiting for this to happen, and calls to the support department go unanswered. In the meantime, I am becoming very familiar with my local laundromat, and so far have spent at least $100 on using their machines. Now my family has left, I have 6 lots of bedding waiting to be laundered. I cannot believe Im in this situation. I dont know where to turn to next. I think I have been treated despicably and dont feel very good about it.

I purchased a 48-in duel fuel range in 2009. The range was not properly wired, and I have had nothing but problems. My range was actually built by Dacor but that is not the problem. The problem is Electrolux. I have made numerous calls to Electrolux to ask for assistance, request diagnosis of problems, and to try to locate repairmen. Nothing. I finally found a local repairman who has beaten a path to my house from his shop. The latest problem is a circuit board that controls the small oven. That oven inadvertently switches to broil during baking and needless to say, I burns food to a crisp. The repairman has called Electrolux, Electrolux acknowledges the problem because it has happened numerous other times to other people. It is an Electrolux problem, and Electrolux still will not warrant that part which is costly. I have never been offered an extended warranty on my range, but if I were, I would certainly collect all the costs associated with this piece of equipment and get rid of it. Viking or Wolf would certainly be better than the inefficient products Electrolux puts out. Buy Electrolux at your own risk.

After 6 months, my Electrolux gas dryer stopped working. Relieved it was still under warranty, I contacted Electrolux. That was a week ago and my dryer is still not repaired. The hold up is that the 2 lb part that the repairman determined was needed is in North Carolina and I live in California. Electrolux has refused to expedite delivery and has sent it via UPS SurePost which will take 8 days. This costs about $10 vs the $37 2-day UPS services costs. More disturbingly, after much insistence on my part, Electrolux agreed to send it via 2-day UPS service but then did not do it. I have wasted so much time and energy trying to get through to Electrolux customer service agents and then trying to get information out of them. They have gone back and forth telling me stories about the shipping details. Escalating to supervisors has been useless, they, too, make general statements such as, I understand how frustrating this must be to not have your dryer for a long period of time. New 10/2014 Have had issues with ice maker since new. Many calls to Electrolux at which I had to take numerous hours off work. Several different companies have been sent to correct problem at which it has NOT been fixed. Problem still continues and now is making noise on and off. Went before Electrolux board for replacement and was denied due to the fact the service people they use did not call from the house so to them there was not enough evidence. Duuuggghhh! Now, you know they have records of my calls and the people they sent out!! I was told by one Electrolux person that I need to have repairman call them from my house. Is that my responsibility? NO. One repair guy said, Nah no need for me to do that! I do not think it is my place to tell them anything! One repair guy told me that it was as good as it would ever be. It has always put out crushed ice from the cubed slot. To me cubed is cubed and crushed is crushed. NEVER had this issue with my other fridge. I have done tons of research and they have major issues with their ice makers, period! Monday I took off work again to have the repair guy show up and the order that had been called in (by a manager) said I was out of warranty and to charge me. Sooo, he had to leave and now we are waiting again... another day off work for yet another company to come next week! Oh yeah, and by the way they did not get anyone out after the Monday incident, I had to again take my time to call them. This is completely ridiculous and uncalled for! I really want my money back because this is fridge 5, all ice makers with way too many issues, unfixable! All within the first year! I could go on and on but this is just the tip off the iceberg. Today they told me I had to call the service guy to set my time but they had already give them a dispatch number. Called and guess what no #. Sooo again I had to call again! Where to begin. We purchased all of our Electrolux appliances when we built our new home. Fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer. All Electrolux. We have had the induction stove in the past and loved it, so decided we would buy the same brand for all of our appliances. In the first few months of owning them we had problems with everything. The fridge ice maker gets clogged and leaks water. The microwave light stopped working and was replaced just barely under warranty. The new microwave control panel no longer lights up, therefore we cannot see what we are doing. It is now out of warranty and is apparently our problem. The dishwasher. Wow, what a disaster. It’s quiet and that’s about the only good thing going for it. It leaves the dishes wet no matter what cycle we put it on. We have replaced the control panel not once but twice under warranty and the one side still doesn’t work unless we bang really hard on it. It is now also out of warranty and they will not fix it. The washing machine detergent drawer doesn’t drain properly and always has water in it. The dryer is ok but the rubber gasket comes out all the time.We spent over $10,000 on our appliances. Appliances that are supposed to be “high end” but quite frankly, this company not only makes junk, they could care less about customer satisfaction or service. Being a business owner myself, I find this deplorable. I will never buy from Electrolux again and not even 3 years in to owning our appliances, we will be replacing both the dishwasher and the microwave as neither function to get their respective jobs done. Very disappointed. Save your money and buy another brand!

We bought a side by side refrigerator in the summer of 2012. Upon delivery and install the ice maker was spewing out ice - crushed and regular ice all over my kitchen floor. We had to call a service person in to fix the problem. We had to call back a week or so later to have the machine fixed again for the same problem. At this time we realized we may have bought a lemon and added an extended warranty. I called for a part that had broken inside of the door at which time Electrolux said that they did not supply a warranty for that item. I read that they use refurbished parts also to repair their appliances. Someone should have told me this or I wouldnt have bought the warranty. The service call last year was just under $100.00 which I refused to pay since we had just bought it.I requested a refund from my extended warranty that went into effect August 7, 2013. I paid $185.90 and will only get $122.74 minus the $18.59 administer fees bringing the total refund to $104.14. This is crazy! I wish I had done research on this product, but didnt have the time. I will go to Lowes and let the service reps. know that this is a lousy brand and dont recommend it to their clients as well as writing a complaint on Lowes website.

We bought an Electrolux wall oven 5 years ago. At 4.5 years the element and fan needed to be changed. At 5 years the control panel completely died. For almost a month I chased customer service to fix our oven. I wrote 2 complaints on their website with no response. I rang the customer line over 8 times. I spent hours and hours on hold. I received two callbacks that came at a time I was unable to answer so I had to wait on line for ages again just to get through. After waiting a week for a technician to come out, we were told the part needed to be ordered and would be another week. A week later, we were called 20 mins before his arrival to tell us it would be over $650 to fix including the call out. I refused to pay this amount. The oven is only 5 years old. I was told by customer service that because it was 5 years old then parts would breakdown and that I was not obligated to get them to fix it and could find help elsewhere! What a joke! Who buys an oven to last just 5 years!! I told them that after 2.5 weeks without an oven and multiple calls and complaints and emails I would not pay this amount. They agreed to a staff discount amount, however, the part needed to be ordered AGAIN (despite the fact the technician had it in his van ready to install that day), and then once the part arrived we would need to arrange an appointment for a technician again, so another week would go by with no oven. At 3.5 weeks we finally had the technician fix the oven. After my first couple of calls, I insisted on speaking to a manager about this matter, however, despite my complaint being escalated not once was I referred to a manager. I was told at one point to go out on the weekend and buy a new oven and they would give us a $600 discount! Not only would I NEVER buy Electrolux again, I also did not have an easy $2000- $3000 laying around to buy a new oven this weekend and pay for installation! What a complete joke! Not once did Electrolux care about the customer. Not once did they make it convenient of us. Not once did they escalate my matter to a manager. This company needs a serious look at their practices and a huge overhaul of their customer service line. I told they could not transfer me to the manager because they do not have the phone facility to do so! I was also told that even if that first technician installed the new control panel he had in his van, that I would have to pay full price. Why, should I the customer, chase all of this up because they do not have the correct technology or facilities to do what is convenient and right by their customer? They are a HUGE company selling electrical goods but do not have the most basic facilities to transfer phone calls or arrange for a reduced price with their technicians. NEVER BUY ELECTROLUX.

NEVER BUY ELECTROLUX!!! First know that I have previously purchased other products. GE that have lasted 2.5 times longer, no repairs and still running!! I decided to buy two higher END APPLIANCES thinking they would serve us well and add value to our home. WRONG! My refrigerator ice maker never worked properly. Finally I had it checked and repaired for about $600.00. Not many people service these products. Now the dishwasher broke! I called for assistance and they could not help me fix it (I removed the cover directed) then I said I will not pay for this to be fixed. They offered 50% off of parts to repair. I am in business. Parts are marked up at least 3 to 5 times the cost. So they are still making money. I said, fine, as long as I do not pay for service. They replied, cant help you there. Well, how insulting so I could be on the hook for a $300-$600 service call plus 50% of parts! I said, I am fair lets do this, Ill pay for the first $100 in service and 50% of parts. That is fair. If this product wasnt a bad product major repairs would not be necessary. So they could have used the money they would have made on the parts to pay for the balance of the service call. Please note we are a small household. Mother, Grandmother and daughter. These products are not overused or abused! NEVER BUY ELECTROLUX...ITS A WASTE OF MONEY!! IT WILL NOT LAST! THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS! It is not that things cannot go wrong, but its how you handle it, that really tells the story. I was more than reasonable and they still wanted to insult me.

I have an Electrolux Wave Touch Electric Range model # EW30EF65GSH, purchas
I have an Electrolux Wave Touch Electric Range model # EW30EF65GSH, purchased in January 2011 for $3,000. My thought was that, spending that much, we would be receiving a quality product. Yesterday my range starting beeping and showed an E11 error code. Repair man came and informed me that the part to fix this problem would cost almost $600 and it would be $200 for him to do the repair. This is a range that is very gently used - dont cook at home that much. Customer Service offered to discount the part by 20% after much time on the phone with them. So, my $3000 range is now costing me $750 to repair and I have no oven or stove top for a week. There is no way I would ever spend the money on an Electrolux again.

I purchased a full set of Electrolux appliances 3.5 years ago. The dishwasher broke. I run it only once a week and have taken great care of it. Now I see that from this site and others that Electrolux appliances are of very low quality and their service is terrible. I am sorry that I made this purchase. Do not make the same mistake I did.

My fridge was defective, it became evident 1.5 years into using it, but when I called I was told it was cosmetic and I had to pay for it myself. Then 5 years into it right after the extended warranty ended there was rust discovered in the back due to a hole because it was a defective product, the tech they sent made it worse by just covering it up. Now a 7 year old fridge... the entire back is rusted and now $3200 is gone. Knowing they made a mistake I am offered a 20% discount on another fridge. Customer service is nonexistent. Terrible product terrible service just awful! DO NOT BUY!

I suffered a serious head injury (concussion) after the door of my freezer
I suffered a serious head injury (concussion) after the door of my freezer hit me in the head. I filed a report with Electrolux and they opened a case. I recovered and decided to not proceed with the claim. I contacted them to tell them to close the case, but I still continue to get e-mails and letters (at least four of each) asking me to contact them. I had a letter stuck in my door of my home today by someone who left a claims adjustor business card saying hes been trying to contact me. What for? I dropped the claim, yet these people keep harassing me! What next?!

Weve had these appliances for about five years now. Weve had major service on the refrigerator at least four times. The ice maker has been replaced twice and is currently not working, the drawer guides on the main drawer in the refrigerator area have had to be replaced and the temp sensor had to be replaced. The spring on the dishwasher door broke off its mounting plate, the door handle broke off of the microwave, and a year later the entire door assembly has fallen apart. They look pretty nice and the dishwasher is quiet, so Ill give them one star but these are just not well-built appliances. Save yourself expense and frustration. Look elsewhere...

We purchased our Electrolux French door refrigerator (model EW28BS85KS5) 2.
We purchased our Electrolux French door refrigerator (model EW28BS85KS5) 2.5 years ago. Within days of delivery the freezer door would not stay closed, contacted Electrolux and the service company. They recommended twisted the door to get it to close and said it was repaired. Few days later door is back to opening on its own. Another company was sent out who fixed the door. All the plastic around the doors is cracking off now. Electrolux is sorry. Now both ice makers have stopped working. The top ice maker seemed to jam so my husband reached in to clear the ice and received a shock. I called and talked to Jennifer ** the Corporate Supervisor and she advised me only parts are covered. She understands how I feel but I will need to contact 1 of 2 authorized service centers for the repair of the ice makers. Very dissatisfied, Do not buy Electrolux products. My old refrigerator looked new compared to this one and it was 20 years old.

I purchased an Electrolux front loading washer (model # EIFLS60LT.).. from hhgregg in Indianapolis, Indiana on 1/4/14. The washer started developing problems in December of 2015. Through a series of mishaps from the extended warranty service (Warrantech), the service people did not come out until 3/10/2016. On 3/12/16, I started a small load of clothes. About 75 minutes later, the whole upstairs was filled with smoke.

I am writing for my mother. She was using an Electrolux microwave on Tuesd
I am writing for my mother. She was using an Electrolux microwave on Tuesday night and it caught fire. Fire department stated it was electrical. She is elderly with major health problems. She attempted to put the fire out; however, unable to contain the fire she called 911. Luckily, she made it out of the house, although she was not able to normally without help. She is currently staying with us. I cannot believe the extent of the damage in her house. She is displaced for two months until it is rebuilt/cleaned. The emotional turmoil she has been through (and us) has been tremendous. I am losing pay meeting with the contractors, etc. She is unable to return due to a lung condition she has until all the damage has been repaired. I will be pursuing damages and I am not a person to complain about lifes unfortunate circumstances. However, this is beyond stressful (she also just lost her husband). Hopefully this situation will be resolved.
