Product Reviews:

We bought a $1,500, top of the line E-lux combo microwave and warm-air oven
We bought a $1,500, top of the line E-lux combo microwave and warm-air oven. It is our complementary oven. Our normal oven is primary. We use the microwave perhaps every other day for 1 minute warming coffee. It died, circuit board death. $600 to remove and replace it! It is less than 5 years old with less than 50 hours of use. E-lux told me tough luck. I cannot recommend their product or service. Electroluxs product is poor.

I bought the best gas range at Sears...the cooktop peeled off almost. It looks like someone hacked it up but just heat made it crumble, and every time I put on the convection oven it makes a sound like it is scraping on something. I hate this expensive stove but it is too late for a warranty. It is a very expensive piece of crap.

We bought this refrigerator (Model FGHT1846QF4) to replace a similar model we had before. The fridge is very noisy, much more than the previous one. The overall quality is poor, very light refrigerator that moves easily when opening the door. The customer service people were very nice but the manager was not sensitive to our complain. I do not recommend this product. I was very disappointed with both the product and the company.

In a year and a half we have had every single part replaced in our fridge and actually have had the entire fridge replaced. The fridge freezes your food - period. They customer service have stated that the fridge is operating as it was designed. You must strategically place your food in the fridge. It cannot be near the back part of the fridge - that is by design. That was not in the brochure. That being said you loose about 3 of space in your fridge, otherwise your food freezes. And yes if you place a glass of water near the back - it freezes. I have plenty of pictures to show. Poor design, poor customer experience. If you want a freezer I guess buy from this company but dont buy a fridge. Thank goodness I have a real fridge in my garage.

Terrible customer service, I purchased double electrical range on April 22
Terrible customer service, I purchased double electrical range on April 22 2017, for almost 2,00.00, and my issues started. In beginning of September I notice that cooktop of range is starting melt, I called Electrolux, I was asked to send them a pictures, on September 24, 2017 so I did, once get a message that their side is not working, then second time, third time, all the same their site did not worked. Ok something wrong with email or their site. So on October 4, 2017 I decided to sent a pictures again, the same story try few times, the same reply site is not working. I contacted the local technician as per Frigidaire representative advise. Technician came in, made a picture and assure me within few days that he sent it to Frigidaire. Nothing happening. On October 24 again spoke to Frigidaire representative Quintavia and again sent the pictures, as she said that nothing is on my file. Nothing happening.Again on November 22 I spoke to Mona and again I heard that nothing is on my file, so again I resend the pictures, this time Mona called me back and confirm that she received the pictures and finally I got a case number. I was informed that the technician will have all the information from now. I spoke to technician and he told me that the new cooktop has been order and he is just waiting for its exchange, this was November 26, 2017. On December 5, technician has been still waiting for the part, on December 28 I called the Frigidaire with question when I can expect the repair to happened, and surprise I heard that nothing has been approved or ordered, and the Corporate supervisor told me that nothing can be done until January 3 2018. No apologies, no explanation, they did all properly and it seems to be my fault that I bought that range and that it is faulty. This is the worst customer service in my long life. It cost me two thousand and hours on the phone, a lot of stress. Frigidaire products are going down with quality, I am not sure, as I have a old fridge and this is one of the best, but for sure their customer service is the worst that happened to me, no one care, I felt like I was intrusion for staff and how dare I complain. If you can avoid please save yourself a lot of stress and time, spend a money with different company and have a less stress.

This is the first time I have ever written on of these reviews, but I just had to because I can honestly say that dealing with Electrolux has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had. And Im still dealing with them. Some background. About 15 months ago I bought a fridge and freezer set from them. They are fairly high end, stainless steel all fridge and all freezer set. Model numbers are # E32AR85PQS and # E32AF85PQS.I am amazed at the number of issues we have had with this fridge in such a short time. The handle is permanently loose, the seal is subpar, but those two issues are minor. After we had owned it for about six months, it started leaking water. We would wake up in the morning and there would be a pool of water in front of the fridge. I called the store where I bought the appliances, and they directed me to call Electrolux. After about a half dozen calls and no real concrete answers they finally gave me the name of two Authorized service providers in my area and told me to call them. I did - 1 was out of service and one wasnt taking appointments for a couple of weeks. We waited the couple of weeks while the leaking continued to ruin our hardwood floor. When the repairman showed up, he called Electrolux and they told him this was an issue they were aware of and they sent him a part to fix it. So this was an issue they were aware of, but they didnt bother to reach out to people that bought the fridge. No compensation for my ruined floor was offered.Jump ahead to about 3 weeks ago and our fridge is no longer cooling. The coldest it is getting is about 15 degrees Celsius (but it is usually warmer). I call Electrolux again and the first agent I spoke to says that I have to deal with it myself as it is past the 1 year warranty period. She asks if there is anything else she can help with and hangs up. Then I call back and get a different agent and I explain all of the issues I have previously had and she offers a part authorization, which means I have to pay for the servicing but not the parts.I do a little more digging into my receipts and manual and see that there is a 5 year warranty on the cooling system (which is obviously where the problem is). I call them back and ask for a supervisor and explain this and then she says yes, they will cover the service cost and parts. I am not particularly happy that I was the one that had to bring this up. Had I not, I would have been on the hook for a new fridge. So, she gives me two services providers to try calling to set up an appointment. The first is the one Id told them last time was out of business and the second one doesnt have an appointment until September (It is August 12th at this time). And this is only to come look at the fridge. I figure by the time it gets replaced or fixed I will have been without a working fridge for at least a month and a half in the summer (I have young kids, lots of milk and yogurt going bad). While this is all going on, I have someone else look at the fridge. He is an appliance repairman but not one of their authorized dealers. He tells me what he thinks is going on (compressor issue or worse) and I relay that to Electrolux. They actually call him to confirm this, but then tell me that his opinion does not matter as he is not an Authorized servicer. There are other repair companies that are nearby that would be able to come take a look at the fridge in the next few days, but Electrolux wont allow this because they arent Authorized. There are other Authorized repair companies that are further away that could come in the next few days, but Electrolux wont allow this. The would rather have us be without a fridge for at least a month. With all of the issues we have had with the fridge, I would assume they would try to be accommodating, but they are not, even in the slightest. So now I wait for 3 weeks for someone to even come take a look. Poor product, worse customer service. I would never purchase another Electrolux appliance and I would suggest others stay away.

I did a kitchen reno 3 years ago and through lots of contemplation on which manufacturer to purchase our appliance package from, we chose Electrolux. We purchase the wave technology fridge and Induction stove. We could not have purchase any higher end of a product from Sears other than the GE Profile package, but they did not release an induction cooktop at the time. WHAT A MISTAKE!!! The stove has had several service calls as one of the burners has no heating intensity. The service people that have been coming out have no clue what they are doing and cannot fix the stove. They basically say it is normal. Still working on that problem to get it rectified. We also noticed our laminate floor was swelling a few weeks ago and after investigating the possible cause, I pulled out the fridge and sure enough the floor was all damaged and stained with rust. I had Sears service come to investigate and the end result is it cannot be repaired as it has a manufacturing defect. Seems that Electrolux just happened to not design the fridge with any insulation at the back of the fridge. WOW! I purchased the Extended warranty from Sears due to the cost of these High End appliance and the high cost to purchase.Well that fell flat on support. Sears has offered a credit of $1170.00 toward a purchase of a new replacement fridge as my compensation for the NO Lemon policy on the warranty. Not happy with this result, I contacted Electrolux customer service and asked to speak with a Manager. I was bluntly told that there was no further person to talk to and that Electrolux does not care about any issues after the initial year is over and it will be impossible to expect any input or assistance to replace the fridge that was improperly designed and built! Unbelievable... I am now going to be financially burdened with a $3000 plus cost out of pocket!! What a kick in the teeth after thinking if I purchased High End (JOKE) product, it would pay off.It is looking like I will have to replace my fridge and will now have mismatched appliances in my kitchen, especially since it will not be an Electrolux product. That would be a cold day in Hell!!! I cannot believe what Electrolux is pulling off here. I would be willing to start a class action lawsuit if we could group enough people together to fight this company for selling Improperly manufactured product and not owning up to it.

All my Electrolux appliances broke down. The dryer quit and had to replace
All my Electrolux appliances broke down. The dryer quit and had to replace the motherboard. The microwave broke and replaced it with another over the range microwave and the handle broke within few months. Then last week my Electrolux dishwasher caught fire. It was the motor that caught fire and spread to the insulation. The fire department came and put out the fire and whole house was damaged with smoke. Insurance is handling the claim and I had to pay the $1000 deductible and the dishwasher is not covered by the insurance. It was a loss close to 10 grand. Electrolux wasnt even ready to pay someone to come and do an inspection and I had to pay an authorized repairman to come and submit the report to Electrolux. He is coming tomorrow to do the inspection. I am really frustrated with Electrolux appliances and their accountability.

We purchased a new washer and dryer and was promised a $200 rebate from Electrolux. The products were purchase late October of 2017 and were delivered early Nov. 2017. We filed for the rebate online as it was supposed to be a “lot quicker”. Several days later, on November 21, we received an email stating that our request was received and that it would take approximately 7 business days to review the claim. The email lists a link to check on the status of the claim. However when you go to the website it is a non-secure website and we get a warning that it is not recommended to open the link. On Dec. 20th we received an email that said the prepaid Citibank MasterCard for $200 was mailed to us and we should receive it within 3 weeks. (Not sure what planet it was mailed from that takes 3 weeks). The email stated a number to call if we did not receive within the 3 weeks. As of today, 1/15/2018 we have not received the rebate card so my wife, called that number. She was told it was processed on the 11th. When questioned about that he said it was “requested by Electrolux on Jan. 11th. When questioned further he said we should receive it by the 25th of this month. However if we do not have it by then call back. It is rather obvious that the scam is to not mail the rebate unless the customer complains that they have not received it in the hope that the customer will forget about it. Also obvious is that we are not going to forget about it so hopefully it will actually be sent soon. Of course if and when we get the rebate it is prepaid credit card which I am sure they hope we will lose and not use. We will probably never purchase anything from this company again as they are not trustworthy and we are not comfortable with their sales tactics.

We have been dealing with repair companies that cant even get the parts for at least 3-4 weeks. This is a new refrigerator that is not even a year old yet. 3 months now and they still will not replace it. What a nightmare! The repair companies they use also do not want to do the repairs because they say that they have to go through hell to get paid. I have sent email and tried calling but Electrolux could care less. Dont buy one is my advice. They dont stand behind their products at all. It also cost us 2600 dollars so its not a cheap one...

When you set the oven to a pre-heat setting the oven heats up to that temperature but it doesnt maintain that temp and the temp begins to fall. Called Electrolux and they recommended a repair company and they came. They replaced the heat sensor for over $200.00 in repairs. No fix. Then called another company on our own and he replaced the motherboard, still no fix. My wifes first cousin (with my help) took the oven out of the cabinet and he found that the heating element at the bottom of the oven burnt up. Replaced that heating element and now the oven works just fine. Electrolux wanted to sell me an extended warranty on the oven for $500.00, not solving the problem. Electrolux customer services is PP even though youre paying top dollar for their product.

Can only wonder if the GE acquisition is a factor in the terrible cust service from this once prestigious company! Previous service calls were handled professionally and never had an issue until Sept 15 when I called cust service and ordered replacement part which covers the motor, etc on back of refrig. Unit arrived approx 10 days later damaged beyond use due to improper packaging of unit (modified box broke open, packing material missing, and unit was crushed). Called cust service back and a replacement unit was shipped out and arrived 4 days later but it was the wrong part. There are only two parts on the backside of a refrig -- the metal plate covering 90% of the unit and the cardboard panel covering the motor, etc! Called cust service again and was advised even though Electrolux rep ordered the wrong part, they would only waive restock fee and I was financially responsible for return shipment for a 35 x 13 x 5 box. Lastly, submitted online complaint to cust service expressing my disagreement with the shipping issue. Next day received email reply stating Saw you called in and matter was resolved by waiving of restock fee.I seriously question if there is some type of learning/listening disability issue (such as Attention Deficit Disorder) with the Electrolux service staff. Or perhaps they just dont care -- put in their hours and collect a paycheck and go home. Three out of four reps failed to listen/absorb what was being said and merely mouthed platitudes and repeated errors. While I was very polite to all of the cust service reps, I am thoroughly disgusted with the corporation and would not recommend Electrolux products.

I want everyone to know that these folks do not stand by their product even
I want everyone to know that these folks do not stand by their product even when you have paid extended warranty since 2011. They are telling me I have to live with ice buildup in the top front of the freezer and across the top and left side of the door. WHY. They have set me up with 2 service companies (GURU from Bonifay, FL). Tried 2 weeks and they were a no show. The last one was JC Appliance Dothan, AL Called twice and text them twice and they confirmed the appt Electrolux was suppose to have made nor did they answer the call when they tried to call them themselves. So they set me up with AL POWER in between those two starting first part of December, came back end of December and 2 weeks later came back and I still I have. Company says, There is nothing we can do. It is due to heat and humidity. BUT I have had this freezer since 2011 and have had 8 years of all SEASON and it just started building up last year. AND if that is it why is only in those spots and not the entire freezer. I have contacted BBB and they have contacted the company but all Electrolux had to do was let them know they contacted me NOT helping to fix the issue. I have been dealing with this since Nov 11, 2018. I pay them to have good service companies that know what they are doing and show up. Why do I have to accept an unacceptable results. They cant prove its humidity and I cant prove it isnt EXCEPT LAST YEAR WAS NOT THE FIRST YEAR WE HAVE HAD HUMIDITY. We are in the south, we always have humidity. I pray the good Lord with help me find someone that can point me into the direction where I can get help. BBB suggested contacting Atty General which I did (hope I did it right) but with the recent shutdown doubt I will hear anything. I will NEVER buy another product from them. They just dont care. I wished I could convey to everyone just how little they do care.

We purchased all new Electrolux appliances for our kitchen 2 1/2 years ago. Every appliance has been repaired since purchase, one replaced and two appliances are now on their 3rd or 4th repair (these are major repairs not minor). Electrolux has been making exceptions and paying for the repairs after hours spent documenting repeated problems and pleading with them to make good on their faulty products. Our range was rebuilt last week and tonight our dishwasher broke again, same computer panel as the last 3 times.I called Electrolux again, asked for assistance and they said Id have to call back tomorrow and speak with a supervisor, when I asked if a supervisor could please call me after they review our file they hung up on me... I couldnt believe it. I went on their website to contact them and their contact form is also down, the same experience each and every time Ive tried to contact them via email. This is the absolute worse experience weve ever come across.

In 2009, we purchased all Electrolux products from Lowes. BIG MISTAKE..... The oven/cook top is now receiving the 5th service call. Do not self clean this oven.... it can only take about 10 times and then one of the 8 boards will burn and fail. The fridge has had 4 service calls. The control board for ice maker fails once a year. The plastic shelves break. The Ice maker bin broke from ice dropping into it. The microwave has had one. The dishwasher has operated with no service calls but it is not as good at fully cleaning than others I have had in the past.Lowes is no help. Electrolux customer service has no ability to assist in persistent issues. They just say we need to purchase the warranty. We could have bought a new oven with the money we have paid on repairs and the cost of a warranty would by now paid for a new oven as well. 2 weeks ago the fridge was repaired. Luckily we have a 12 year old fridge in the garage that has never had service once as a back up. Our gas grill is our back up when we need oven/cook top service once a year.

My husband and I purchased an Electrolux refrigerator from Lowes in March of 2017. In May of 2017 we moved into our new home that was just built. In August, 2017, I came home to water in my kitchen that was coming thru the ceiling of my finished basement. A repairman was sent out to replace a part. In September, 2017, I was standing at my kitchen sink and the water dispenser just came on. Thankfully I was home to shut off the water. The repairman asked me to videotape it the next time it happened to document it! Another part was ordered and replaced.About 10 days ago (October, 2018), I woke up early to get a glass of water and found myself standing in water and water again coming thru the basement ceiling. Lowes stated I was out of warranty and to contact Electrolux directly, which I did. This morning a 3rd repairman came out and again stated a part needed to be replaced. I requested Electrolux replace this obvious lemon of a refrigerator but they will not. They can only offer me an extended warranty thru March 2019. I have no confidence in this product. I will not be able to leave my house or go to bed any night for fear that this will happen a 4th time. How many times does this product have to ruin my home before it will be replaced? Do not buy model E123CS35KS4A if you value your home. Shame on Electrolux for not standing by their product.

This is my second Electrolux appliance. The first one I got was a built-in double wall oven. Had a lot of problems with the oven. After a year, they replaced the oven. All has been good with the oven now, very happy with it. Needed a new dishwasher so I went back to Electrolux - it was 3/16/09. I keep having the same problem with it. I get an error code (Er01) leak detector. I have put so much money into this dishwasher, and it still does not work. They have replaced everything that they could inside the dishwasher. The service people said that there is nothing for them to do anymore. The service people said Electrolux should just replace the dishwasher like they did my oven. Its been over a year now and most of the time I do not have a working dishwasher. The time Im spending doing my dishes and the time Im on the phone with them is driving me nuts. I just want a dishwasher to do my dishes not me. I did not buy it to look good, and thats about all it can do. I never thought about taking photos when they were working on it. I started off being so nice. Now I just have one big headache after another each time I try to get them to repair my dishwasher. They keep telling me they are working on it, but all it does is cost me more and more and it still does not work.

I bought a Refrigerator (new display model) from Lowes on 20th October 2020. After two weeks it stop working. I took it to Lowes. They said that I cannot return this item. I was referred to Electrolux/Frigidaire. I called them and they booked a service call. The service man came out and said they needed to order a part that will take a few days. Never showed up again.Called Electrolux again. They promise to deliver the part within two days. I waited for more than seven days. No part arrived. Called Electrolux again. They promised that they will review my case and seek a replacement or refund for the refrigerator. I asked if I need to call again. They said no. More than seven days passed again no information. I called today Dec 24th 2020. Spoke with support staff who asked me to hold the line for more than 15 minute, this call was suspiciously ended by the support end. I called again. Another operator came on the line to say that the technician will fix it next Tuesday. Where in north America can we do without a refrigerator for two months. Above everything else what company is Electrolux/Frigidaire? Such a bad support that they cannot stand to their word. They do not return Email or calls. I will recommend that company for zero star.

Their support is super ignorant and useless. We paid their expensive insurance and their unit broke. We are almost 2 months without a working unit and literally have spent close to the same amount in getting our clothes laundered vs. buying a new unit. So frustrating. We have a child that needs sanitized clothes due to a health issue. Their support is so ignorant and do not care. They got a part in and scheduled the first appointment, took almost 1 month. Then the guys got here and said, Oh the part is broken. So you think they would expediate, right? Well no, now we are waiting another month. DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCT OR EXTENDED SERVICES. Is there a zero star rating? I am extremely dissatisfied in my Electrolux refrigerator. It is just over two years old and have had to have the main computer board replaced (twice) and the evaporator fan to the tune of $1,000! This should be under warranty for a minimum of 3-5 years for these major parts. Model Number is E23BC68JPS5. It is ridiculous to spend an additional $1K on this appliance given I already spent over 3K to purchase it not long ago.

I asked the tech if this was unusual. Tech says yes, but this brand typically only lasts 8 years anyway! 4 years and $2400.00 later, hauled away to the junk yard.

Electrolux Dual Fuel defective Oven F15 motherboard - To begin, the word motherboard defines the perfect depiction of the defective range (item/product) the Electrolux company manufactures. I recently purchased a home that included a 30 slip in Electrolux dual fuel range that the previous owners had originally paid over $2,900.00. Having seen the wonderful Kelly Ripa television commercials, I figured the product must be good if she endorses their products. Within 2 months of having lived here and using the stove, the F15 code has flash on the motherboard of the range which then also shuts down the use of the control board. Doing some investigation, I learned that the previous homeowner had already replaced the motherboard 2 times previously since owning the range. Now into the two months of new home ownership, I am glad that I had taken out a homeowners warranty to cover repairs in the new house. I just got back from Best Buy and hhgreggs to price out a replacement range and was shocked to see Electrolux continues to produce the same style range (which at hhgreggs price was over $3,000.00). Thank God I had my homeowners warranty to replace the motherboard until I find a new replacement range and dump this inferior product. Kelly Ripa... You sold customers down the river with a BAD product that is not backed by the company making it.

I purchased a 48-in duel fuel range in 2009. The range was not properly wired, and I have had nothing but problems. My range was actually built by Dacor but that is not the problem. The problem is Electrolux. I have made numerous calls to Electrolux to ask for assistance, request diagnosis of problems, and to try to locate repairmen. Nothing. I finally found a local repairman who has beaten a path to my house from his shop. The latest problem is a circuit board that controls the small oven. That oven inadvertently switches to broil during baking and needless to say, I burns food to a crisp. The repairman has called Electrolux, Electrolux acknowledges the problem because it has happened numerous other times to other people. It is an Electrolux problem, and Electrolux still will not warrant that part which is costly. I have never been offered an extended warranty on my range, but if I were, I would certainly collect all the costs associated with this piece of equipment and get rid of it. Viking or Wolf would certainly be better than the inefficient products Electrolux puts out. Buy Electrolux at your own risk.

Electrolux Washer Model EIFLS55IIW1 - Washing machine delivered 1/25/2014.
Electrolux Washer Model EIFLS55IIW1 - Washing machine delivered 1/25/2014. Purchased matching dryer 6/1/14. Dryer control panel dies after three months. Repaired under warranty. Just short of 22 months of delivery washer does not spin out clothes. $100 for repairman to come out. Says, Broken belt. Comes back a week later with belt. But NO, not the belt, the pulley, and the pulley ate into the drum, destroying that as well. 22 months old and washer is considered totaled by repairman. However, can be fixed for $1,200 for parts and labor. Wait, I only bought this 22 months ago for $899. Now the fun, Electrolux says that it will warranty parts and that I can pay for the labor. Again, top of the line machine should of lasted at least 5 years, not 22 months!! Frigidaire washer made by Electrolux stood the test of four teenagers, dog blankets, horse blankets, etc., but the more expensive top of the line model could not stand up to two senior citizens doing normal washes, with the wife doing all the appropriate cleanings on machine. Bottom line, if I did not have the stackable set I would of not replaced it with this piece of junk. Even wife says the first machine did not clean the clothes properly, not enough water, and ran far beyond time for a load of wash. Recommendation: Stay away from the Electrolux line. Read the other comments about water, service, etc. They are not going to help and the new machine to replace was even more than the first one. No discounts, no credits. Nothing from Electrolux. Dont buy is our recommendation!

We bought the Electrolux refrigerator ew23cs70153 and also an oven and washer and dryer from PC Richards. Almost $8000-$10000 in product in 2010. They are around 3 1/2 years only. Like many I thought the design was European and sleek perfect for a modern kitchen. Kelly Ripa and marketing they sure spent a lot in!!! We will never buy Electrolux again! We began to have problems right away. LED screen letters some out on oven, round iron plates around burners got rusty on the stainless steel top of oven so had to toss, inside rack you cannot take out to clean the oven, when you push clean oven it blinks and sounds with a message saying take racks out and you hit the lever in the back does release it. No way to get it out. The decals on the front showing which way to turn the dials came off, when it comes on and ignites it makes a boom sound and feels like the oven is going to blow up. We are always worried and jump.I called Electrolux customer service and they sent multiple parts to replace however sometimes had to send up to 10 times for me to finally get the correct part. Very frustrating, I scheduled a repair guy to change the screen and parts. However to date things still are breaking and it was 2-3000 dollars in price. Then on the washer and dryer, the plate inside the dryer in the back from high heat turned black and if I dry any light clothes, it sticks to it and also black gets on the clothes in high heat mode, so I can only use the medium and low heat setting only. Its almost like it is so efficient they didnt think of the parts inside holding up. What a mess. Also the front door in plastic hasnt held up nice and and has gotten cloudy so had to call Electrolux to receive new doors. The overall outside of the unit hasnt held up nice either and we bought in white. And the latest frustration is the refrigerator. When we first bought it the first month the LED screen had one of the letters that went out and when this happens you have to replace the entire screen. Also the regular refrigerator side kept freezing up. The outside easily dings especially the sides of the unit. Electrolux sent us a brand new refrigerator 6 months after we bought the original one. However it didnt stop there. During a storm the power went out and the motor blew so we had to have repair guy come out again to replace motor. We put a surge protector on after that. The latest and last straw is the water line keeps freezing up in the door so we have to keep shutting it off to defrost and then it freezes up again. I cant use the filter water at all!!!! Come to find out after reading reviews many are having this same problem. So I called Electrolux to see if they would send a new door or do anything. They said since it is out of the year and 2 year warranty they cant do anything and they can send a door out for 400 dollars. We just cant believe itI just cant believe they wont do anything when this is a known problem with their design. I asked to speak to anyone higher up and they said there is no one to speak to. We have hit a brick wall. My husband and I just cant believe they would lose a customer over this. I never blog or do reviews but these Electrolux products have been a living hell for how much they are worth! Quality and durability not worth the high price. And the hours I have spent on repairs and calling customer service has to be over 40-50 hours by now. Im 7 months pregnant and we have to buy bottled water because we can use the refrigerator water. So now we have the hose taken out of the unit to use the water, see attached pic.

We have had an Electrolux dishwasher for two years. It worked great until last week and started leaking. I called Electrolux and they stated it was not under warranty, which I knew, and they could send out a repairman. There would be an $89.95 upfront charge which would go against the labor. It was a minor repair on the drain line that took about 10 minutes. However, I had to pay another $87.02 for labor and parts. The $89.95, according to the technician, was a trip charge only. That was not how it was represented by customer service. I called back and talked to a manager that said maybe the rep I had talked to had stated it incorrectly, duh, and that they would educate them to be more specific. It was an intentional misrepresentation in my opinion and they should have know better. I could have called a local company and gotten it done much cheaper.

Bought 20 cuft Frigidaire freezer in Dec. 2020. Did not work correctly after 2 weeks, frosted up. Fan stopped working. Light did not work. Electrolux who now owns frigidaire, sent out service man a week later. After missing with the door the service man said he would have to order a new door and gasket. After several weeks (the freezer had now stopped working) the door and gasket where delivered. The service man never returned or answered my calls. I called electrolux. They sent out a different company. After a few weeks the service man said he would have to order some parts. He did do something with the fan motor. He did order some parts. After several weeks, 3 or 4 I called the service company and they told me that one of the parts was on back order. After 6 months the part came in. A month before I plugged in the freezer and it started working. Still frosted up and no light. The service man returned and after about 30 minutes he said it needed another part. He was not using the part we had waited over 6 months to get. A week later he returned, put some shims in the original door and everything worked right. Not end of story. The new door is still on my sun room floor on a pallet (6ft long). Its now been 8 months, They kept telling me they were going to pick it up. Now they say because its a residence they cant get it pick up, they had it DELIVERED. Now they say its up to me to dispose of it at my expense. I think I am going to try and sell it!

I called Electrolux who told me to buy an extended warranty yearly for the price of $196. I will never ever buy another Electrolux product again. Client purchased Microwave range hood model number (ME16H702SES) Serial number (078N7WTJ301913R) approximately 11/25/2015. After approximately 20 hours of use over the period of a year or so the keyboard on the door was nonresponsive. Flashed 12:00 repeatedly but touchpad would not respond. Electrolux Frigidaire, through their automated response system, supplied the name of a appliance repair company, Best Aid Appliances Service (760-494-6444). We contacted Best Aid Appliances on 1/15/2016. According to the receipt I have. They said they would let us know when somebody will be able to come out and inspect the microwave. A few weeks went by and we agreed on a appointment. They said they are free would be $150. And we had to charge us $75 for a diagnosis fee and $75 upon the repair of the microwave. Over the course of a month or so they arrived three times. Each time they were sent a defective part. After the third time they said they would order a new one and they would contact us in two weeks. We never heard from them. We called Frigidaire. They apologized and referred us to another appliance repair company. This company was Michaels Appliance Corporation. Phone number 818-609-0912. Michaels Appliance Repair tech came over. He was very professional and a well informed gentleman. He made three visits, each time Electrolux Frigidaire concessions sent him a defective part. He suggested I need to contact Electrolux Frigidaire and inform them about once again a defective part. He asked me to contact him when Electrolux Frigidaire sent me a new door. The new door arrived. The gentleman came back. We installed the door and once again the touch controls for a non-responsive. Once again we received a defective product or part. After speaking on the phone with Frigidaire Electrolux tech-support they informed me that the product now is out of warranty and they would not take responsibility for any defective parts they sent me prior and they could no longer assist me with the repair of their product. I explained, You have been sending me defective parts for nine months. So we have a product we paid $602 for plus a $75 diagnostic fee and still we do not have a functioning product???

I have a brand new home with brand new appliances. Since we purchased the home in January the dishwasher has never worked correctly. We have had repair persons out to repair it 4-5 times. So after receiving no contact regarding the dishwasher I called on Thursday June 18th, the lady that day told me she put in a request for replacement and someone would call me with 24 hours. After receiving no phone call as of Tuesday June 23rd I called back. That lady told me that I was told incorrectly and it could 48-72 hours. So after receiving no phone call as of Wednesday June 24th I called again. No supervisor was available but the lady I spoke to said she escalated the request and someone would call me within 24 hours. After again receiving no phone call as of today June 25th I called again. This time the lady said I was again mistold. I was now told it would be 3 business days, not 24 hrs.As you can see I can not understand why no one will call me back and my dishwasher has not been replaced/repaired. We were going on 12 days without a dishwasher. While I understand this isnt a 911 emergency I have four kids and a life. We have had nothing but problems with our Electrolux appliances. This is not just one model, but many different appliances. When we moved into our new house we unfortunately purchased all Electrolux including fridge, stove, dishwasher, popup vent, and over/microwave combo. This was all about three years ago. Since purchasing new appliances, the fridge has needed repair twice, the vent hood fan went out and we replaced it with a different brand (Wolf), the stove and oven have had issues and just recently our dishwasher cooked itself. It made several popping sounds and we smelt electronics burning in the kitchen, then the dishwasher shut down and wont come on again. Its now being replaced with a Bosch dishwasher.Do yourself a favor and AVOID Electrolux and their brands. They make junk. Also be careful as some brands like Kenmore use Electrolux to manufacture their goods. Do your research and stay away. I hope my review will help someone save time and money. We spent about 12K on all these new appliances and after 3 years, we are already in the process of replacing them. Getting the fridge repaired was a major hassle with their repair department. Its going to be easier for us to just purchase new appliances and start clearing our house of Electrolux. Never again Electrolux!!! You have been banned for life from my house and Ive already told hundreds of friends to stay away from your brand.

Purchased brand new front load ElFLS60LTI Electrolux washer and dryer July 2015. Washer leaking from underneath and called service repair company. Back metal wheel with rubber belt had continually been cutting away into the back of the drum and carved out a hole where water leaked out. There was plenty of shredded strips of the rubber belt at bottom of the unit due to half of the belt eroding away as it was carved into the back of drum with the metal wheel. Not worth money to repair. I took photos and called Electrolux customer service and asked for a discount toward a new washer or even a used washer since this one was in use for only 2.5 years. The answer was NO. They suggested I shop around for deals. They did offer me 50% off any parts. Nothing toward labor. So I might as well buy a new washing machine. How about offering me 50% off a washer since this clearly was a defect. Anyway, I will never purchase an Electrolux product again.

I have a high end Electrolux refrigerator that is only 5 years old. The ice maker rusted through the back of the refrigerator and a softball size lump of ice was sticking out of the rusted area. The repairman stated the refrigerator was not repairable, he notified Electrolux and stated Electrolux would make good on it. Electrolux offered a 20% rebate on my next Electrolux refrigerator purchase because of the age of my refrigerator. My refrigerator is 5 years old. A refrigerator life expectancy is 14-17 years, making the average 15.5 years. My refrigerator lasted less than 1/3 of the average expectancy and I expected Electrolux to give me 2/3 off my next purchase. They stated my refrigerator was past warranty. Well Electrolux, this was a KNOWN manufacturer’s defect and you allowed the warranty to expire without informing your consumers. I bought Electrolux because I believed you to be upfront and honest and to stand behind your product and most of all to do the right thing. I couldnt be more wrong. I will never buy from you again and that includes your Frigidaire brand and I will be sure to let everyone I know and even strangers that you do NOT stand behind your product and are deceptive by not disclosing manufacturer defects to consumers at every opportunity.

I bought an Electrolux washer three years ago. Nothing but problems. It has been down FOUR times. Last couple had water on my floor an inch deep. Two of us, hardly used. Electrolux could care less. Spoke with four reps and the best they could do was tell me get an extended warranty. I had one last year and it took 2 weeks for them to fix it, a 10 minute job. PLEASE- never buy Electrolux products; they do not service their products and they are lemons.

On Nov 28, 2013, after 4 repair visits for the ice maker, the salesperson on the phone strongly encourages me to buy an extended warranty ($408). I did. Six days later Electrolux replaces the refrigerator, but the extended warranty does not convey!! THIS IS GOUGING!! AND the ice maker still doesnt always work.

We purchased the Electrolux washer and dryer in 2017 and immediately had a problem with it clanging and banging. We had two techs out and they couldnt find an issue. Now the pedestal drawer broke! I owned a Kenmore front loader for 15 years and never had one problem! Today I called about that part and explained that it still clangs. My husband says its a design flaw and even tho we empty the lint screen after every single use, it is escaping and going into the motor. Today they said they cant cover sending someone out again. Its beyond the time limit! Really!? Dont buy any of their products! The company doesnt build reliable products and then try to pawn it off on the consumer and blame us for waiting so long.. I said its not my fault twice they couldnt figure it out. Never ever ever ever will I buy anything electrolux! Terrible products and worse customer service! They dont even deserve one star. I would give them a negative 5 if possible!

Poor quality caused the display to fail and one of the compressors to fail. This should not happen on a $5000 refrigerator.

I have a new Electrolux microwave that was 1 year old at the time I sent in my first complaint. The Microwave/convection oven is now 1 1/2 years old and still unusable. The door is cracked, it dangles on 2 hinges instead of 4. The original complaint was a foggy door. The first Electrolux authorized repairman claimed door was dirty. Not true. The foggy door turned out to be a warning sign that the door was faulty. A few months later the microwave door bubbled up and melted itself onto the stainless steel body of the unit. 4 authorized repairmen later with repairmen taking photos and writing reports, the melted door was replaced by an authorized Electrolux repairman attempted to mount the replacement door. He didnt tell me but I saw that the door was cracked. Did Electrolux send a cracked door or did he drop it before he mounted it? Dont know. I do know he didnt tell me about the crack. He was unable to hang the door properly. He said the door was too heavy. He gouged the unit itself by trying to hang the door. He crudely marked the unit as he attempted to scratch off the melted door parts from the main unit. He left with the door dangling by 2 hinges, leaving 2 hinges floating. By pushing and pulling the door and the hinges he pulled out the inside clips so far that they push out from the inside of the unit, making the unit look swollen. He crudely took a metal tool to scratch off the melted plastic. He left me with a scratched and protruding stainless steel inside to look at. The door flips open on its own, turning on the light. The door dangles. He said not to use the unit.6 months and 6 repairmen later, Electrolux wants to send another repairman out. They do not want to replace the unit. Instead they send guys to take pics and write up reports that are far from truthful. The unit is unusable as it has been since it first melted 4 months prior, 5 months prior with the first warning of a problem and 6 repairmen later in total. All have yielded a microwave that doesnt work, many days waiting for repairmen, many photos taken by repairmen and many calls to Electrolux in Augusta, Georgia and to Sweden.Their behavior tells me they do not intend to listen to logic, take responsibility for their manufactured goods or stand by the truth. I just want what I paid for: a microwave that works and with no physical damage caused by their authorized repairmen. I am willing to let them have their flammable and damaged microwave in exchange for my money back. It seems like that would be good business practice and the right thing to do but is that their intention?

We purchased new front loading washer and dryer this winter for our new home. 6 months of use and the washer stopped draining. Warranty service tech came out and found the drain line plugged deep inside the machine. To fix he had to remove the top and front of the machine to get to a plastic inline bowl that he said is prone to becoming plugged. We have a lab and he said we need to shake out everything before washing as the dogs hair will clog the machine. This repair is not for the amateur and if it wasn’t under warranty it would have been about $240. Can’t believe the poor design and difficult accessibility to do routine cleaning. Our dog is 8 years old and we’ve never had a problem like this. Will think twice about buying another one when the time comes.

My husband and I redid our kitchen 5 years ago, & we were so excited to purchase the Electrolux 36 range & French door fridge as our appliances. We bought the extended warranty plan offered through Warrantech, since these are pricey appliances. We felt that they would last us for many years. Fast forward 5 years later, our range works only a few months out of the year, takes weeks to months to repair each time, and was red-tagged by the gas company on one occasion because the design flaw which causes the frequent repairs causes it to become a bomb in the kitchen. It once exploded our oven door clean open when I preheated it. Despite being repaired 3 times for the same issue, (pilot located too close to burner assembly causes burner assembly to blister open. Often just causes the pilot to be blown out instead of light, but sometimes resulting in a huge build up of gas before ignition, i.e.: bomb in the kitchen), Electrolux, through Warrantech, refused to replace our very expensive appliance. They refused to replace it because it could be fixed, ignoring the pattern of the same issue occurring every year, the enormous danger of the design flaw, & the length of time it took to repair. The part was always backordered, one would assume because they were having this issue with many other ranges. The range has now been discontinued. Electrolux also had the gall to tell us if we had bought our extended warranty through them, they would have replaced the oven after the 3rd repair. They suggested that we purchase another extended warranty through them once ours ran out. Well, that warranty ran out in Dec. 2016. In Sept., 2016, the oven had needed the same repair for the 3rd time. That repair lasted until February of 2017. Two months after our warranty ran out, the same issue occurred for the 4th time. My husband and I cannot see spending another $500 for an Electrolux warranty, when the company is clearly not standing behind their product, interested in customer satisfaction or safety. We have ordered 2 replacement parts on our own, & will attempt to fix this issue ourselves whenever it occurs. We own a dangerous, $6,000 and counting, Electrolux lemon of an oven. I implore you not to buy Electrolux appliances, especially the 36 E36GF76JPS2. Are there others of you out there like me? Lets start a class action lawsuit. Im also going to file a report with the Better Business Bureau. This is unacceptable.

Picked this up locally, and installation was fairly easy. At first we thought there was a issue with the keys as they didn't seem too responsive. We learned that you must touch and hold for a second to have it register. No biggie, just have to slow down :-) One complaint is the exhaust fan noise. It's LOUD. I have it exhausting out the top to the outside of the house. However it's very loud inside. I believe a lot of it is wind noise, because the fan is rated at a very high CFM for over the stove microwaves. My other complaint is the underside lights. They work great but they get HOT. If left on for a period of time, they will heat up the inside of the microwave. You would of thought they would have used LED's.

Buyer beware, as you can see all over this site the Electrolux refrigerator has a long term known problem. I have experienced the same problems as others, within the first 30 days after purchase I had 5 tech visits to fix the moisture problem coming out of our ice machine. They finally got it to stop dripping, or so we thought. What we have found, now outside of warranty, is that the dripping water was being diverted to the rear of the unit. Building up moisture in the rear insulation of the unit causing the rear wall to swell and rusting the back panel from the inside out. We learned of this because one morning my wife went to get ice and a weird noise happened and the fridge went out. We found that the swelling caused the ice machine to dislodge and a wire fell into the ice, froze in the ice and then was torn out when we turned on the ice maker for ice.We contacted Electrolux and they had another tech come out. The solution - put a 2 foam pad on the back of the unit. So now I have moisture inside of the internal insulation, a fried motherboard, wires exposed and my counter depth unit sticks out of the built in cabinet! To add insult to injury they agreed verbally to provide a labor concession on the ice maker if I bought the parts. After 30 days of arguing I agreed to buy the parts and now they said they never agreed to a labor concession!!! This has been a horribly frustrating process, so do your homework before purchasing from Electrolux. Of the 5 appliances we bought for our new home 3 of them required service in the first 12 months (fridge, microwave and dishwasher). I just wish that Electrolux owned up to their known moisture issue and even outside of warranty stood behind their product. This same issue has been going on for years but I guess they can get by with it! I hope this helps.

Purchased Electrolux washer/dryer from Home Depot late 2017 (product received in Nov. 2017). Issues started soon after purchase with the dryer, it was clogging with lint in the blower motor. Not even sure how this was happening, since these are lint making machines. Service came out and had no options on how to prevent this from occurring. Again other than to contact servicing and have them clean it out. Basically they take the machine apart to do this, not a job for ordinary folk. After speaking with Electrolux, and informing them of this continuing issue. Their response is to continue calling for warranty/servicing. The big question was what if this issue persists beyond the one year manufacturing warranty, Electrolux response... “purchase extended warranty”. Are you kidding me!!! That’s when I contacted Home Depot head office. Their response to this issue was much of the same. I can’t believe either one of these entities could live up to their product (Electrolux) or service (Home Depot). This issue should resolved by a replacement or a full refund.Things to keep in mind, these service requests take up time during working hours cause warranty company doesn’t work after hours or weekends. So we have to take time off work each and every time a service is requested. Other option is to cut my losses and dump these machine and buy new ones. Even after a year of ownership. Extremely disappointed with both Electrolux and Home Depot Canada.

I do not recommend this product at all. We have had the rubber seals go bad. Pieces of some plastic just brake off and now the repairman tells us that the ice maker just ate itself. We have no power to it at all, good thing we were home. The service guy said he has seen where they have caught fire. Again glad we were home. Customer service is NO HELP AT ALL. On Nov 21st, 2018 I called to schedule an appointment for my washer to be repaired and was given one right away, although I had told the representative that it would probably need a new part, the very same day I get a call from a technician saying he would come out to look at the washer which he did on Nov 23rd. On the day of the appointment he shows up looks at the appliance and within 5 minutes tells he would need to order the part and come back and that it would take about a week or so. So Ill be without a washer until then, so I called the warranty company back and explain to the corporate supervisor that a week or so is way too long so she reassures me that this will be priority and that she will put a rush on things. It is now 3 weeks later and Ive not heard back from either party, so I call the tech to ask for an update, he tells me the company took him off my case and knows nothing about the situation. I call the company back to find out what the hell happened and no one knows. Also the part was never ordered, ridiculous! So Ive been back and forth with this company. 4 supervisors later, one of them orders the part and assures me this will be given utmost priority, I get an email confirming the part is been ordered and that I should receive within a couple of days, and that a new tech company will be here on the 11th of Dec 2018 to install it. 2 days later I get an email stating that the part has been cancelled without any explanation, again no call from the warranty company, I call them to find out that again no one knows what happened no one has an explanation, at this point Im over it!! Purchased a matching refrigerator and freezer units with a trim kit for our newly built home. Prior to installing these units, both were plugged in to ensure they worked properly. The freezer did work without issue, however the refrigerator (after three services) still doesnt hold a temperature under 70 degrees. We asked for a replacement from the company we purchased it from (Jetson of Stuart Florida) and was told that the manufacture would not authorize a replacement because the unit could not be classified as unrepairable. Called the manufacture, and was told that they had no record of any service on the refrigerator. After the manufacture called the service department at Jetsons, and discovered no service call history was forwarded to the manufacture, all that could be done was another service call had to be set up. (Runaround, runaround). Of course a technician will get the unit to work for a few hours and again it will fail, and this merry-go-round will continue. I am out $2,000 and no working refrigerator. I will NEVER buy another Electrolux product. Its too bad I wasnt wise enough to check reviews before buying. Almost from the start I had issues with the ice dispenser. After many phone calls & service calls, at least 5, after changing celluloid, main board, ice bucket assembly, they sent 3 incorrect ones before I got the correct one. Mind you they had the part #, after taking at least 4 days off from work to be home for repair tech, I am now close to spending $700.00 in parts. (Oh, they give a 20 percent discount on parts that I have no way of breaking, a celluloid, that takes about 20 minutes to get to?) Main board? Really? We purchased this model (EI23BC35KS4) about 8 months ago and have had no issues with it. I think that unfortunately many of the other reviews here are referring to older models. This particular model has LED lighting, which I assume must have solved the issue of the incandescent bulbs 'blistering' the plastic because ours doesn't seem to have that problem. I also think the design of the upper ice machine has been improved because ours works just fine. However a few seconds after you dispense ice, there is a flap that must close to keep the ice maker cool, and if you open the door too soon the machine will beep until you close the door and the flap can shut. It is a very minor annoyance. Overall we are very happy with our purchase and would recommend this fridge, and would also recommend that people stop expressing their hatred of other models through reviews of this model!

Unfortunately, it has happened again, our warranty is over so we will be purchasing a new microwave. Not an Electrolux. Our dishwasher door was malfunctioning. The service rep told the warranty people that it was non repairable. The piece that needed to be replaced was a small plastic piece that he said they couldn’t get to replace. It is infuriating that a company does not stand behind their product. The interior of my Electrolux refrigerator is falling apart. The plastic supports are cracked and broken, making the drawers sit askew. Freshness of food? I have spoken to customer service twice... no help. When requesting to speak to a supervisor, I was kept on hold for lengthy amount of time only to be told that no supervisor would come to the phone. No supervisor will come to the phone? Customer service?I have been told by numerous appliance retailers that Electrolux appliances are plagued with quality issues. I purchased $10,000 in Electrolux appliances in 2012. Yes, the warranty has expired. But this is NOT acceptable. The interior portion of my refrigerator should be replaced... no questions asked. That is brand support and customer service. Own the fact that there have been ongoing issues, and work to maintain a loyal customer base. That is good business. I am a business owner. I would expect my employees to take better care of my customers. ELECTROLUX should be ashamed! I feel a responsibility to share my feeling with whomever will listen. Its infuriating. You have certainly lost this customer and I feel obligated to spread the word!

We purchased our Washer Dryer set less than a year ago. Already it has broken down twice. Both times, a bolt that holds the pulley to the back of the drum has loosened itself causing the pulley to cut into the drum housing and cause leakage. When contacting Electrolux the first time, the repair company they sent made 4 trips out to repair the unit, and we were without a working washer for several weeks. This time they dispatched a company that came out to assess the problem and then returned several days later to make the repair. They showed up at 8:00 pm on a Sunday night, and it is now 11:23 pm and it still isnt back together. To top it off, the repair person just informed me that a wire inside the machine was damaged and he will have to order a new one and return again. Electrolux has told us they will not replace the machine as long as their technician says it is repairable. I am very disappointed. For what we pay for these high end appliances, customer service is a joke. I live 35 miles from the nearest laundromat, and this is a total pain in the ** for my family of four... We have had to resort to hand washing my childrens school uniforms daily to get by and Electrolux seems to feel we arent entitled to a product that performs as advertised. Electrolux washer ruined clothes - I purchased a new washer along with the dryer and pedestals in March 2012. Washer started putting bleach stains on clothes. After ruining several pieces of clothing, I called for service. The first service call was very prompt. Because bleach was involved, the tech replaced three parts, all dealing with the dispensing of the bleach. This repair didnt work. I spoke with the service company, and they indicated that there was nothing else they could do and that this problem has happened before. So after bleaching several more pieces of clothing, I called Electrolux again. They said that they needed to send someone out again, so I told them what the repair company had said. They needed verification that the machine was not repairable. It took quite some time for this to happen. I had stopped using bleach in the machine, but somehow, it was still bleaching clothes. I would call, and nobody would get back to me. Finally, after about a month and 15 pieces of ruined clothing at a cost in excess of $800, they authorized replacement of the washer. After making sure the new washer was working properly, I attempted to get reimbursement for the damaged clothing. They had me send pictures of all the damaged articles. Again, after many calls not being returned, I finally started calling every 15 or 20 minutes and leaving a message until they got tired of having to listen to all the voice mails. They only offered $150 for all the damaged clothing. Oh yeah, I have also had to have 2 service calls on the dryer. The door wasnt closing properly.

The most money I have ever spent the biggest regret ever. I bought my mom her first side by side and bottom freezer. I thought I was gonna buy something that was gonna make everyone’s experience owning it a good one and it has been a nightmare! Always breaking spoiled food and it locks itself cant use water or ice when it locks. Ice maker has broken too many times. I hate this product will never buy another of this name brand not ever.

I purchased an Electrolux Front Load Washer on April 27, 2015. The belt caught fire and burned a hole in the tub causing a large amount of water to leak on the floor. There is standing water at the bottom of the machine. The door wont open and shut correctly. The machine is loud. It is useless! I requested a new machine, but Electrolux wont replace it. They offered to fix it. My laundry is piling up while I wait for parts and a service appointment. Ive called four times and spoke with a supervisor. They will not replace it. A washing machine should not fail after 2 months!!

We bought all new Electrolux appliances in Mar 2010. SIDE BY SIDE BOTTOM OUT Counter Depth SS Refrigerator w/ ICE & Water, Model #EI23BCS6I51. Shortly after installation, the ice maker stopped working. Service call in Nov 2010, replaced several parts on it, working again. Believe the ice maker was replaced. In June 2012, again the ice maker is not working. Aug 2012, ice maker not working AGAIN!! Jan 2013, again ice maker not working. May 2015, the ice maker stopped working. Again the auth tech repair comes, and tells us that there is nothing else they can do. They replaced every part they could and STILL NO ICE!!! We did purchase the extended warranty, but now the warranty is expired and the service company will not even answer our phone calls or come anymore. They know what the problem is, but cant get parts from Electrolux to fix it. They have other owners who have the same problems, and they cant fix their ice maker problems either. CONSUMER BEWARE!! DO NOT SPEND ANY MONEY ON THE ELECTROLUX PRODUCTS. This refrigerator cost us $3,000 and are VERY UNHAPPY with this piece of crap!!

Purchased 1st refrig in 2011. Problems with ice maker, replaced with new one, making ice but it switches to water mode and shoots water all over the floor. Cant fix. So now I am waiting for them to send me my 3rd refrig. I hope it comes soon before my wood kitchen floor buckles from all the water that leaks out plus water is leaking inside the unit. The back of the refrig is oil canned, I can hear water dripping 24/7. My previous cheap brand refrig I had for 18 years never 1 problem. I hope this new one is the keeper.

Electrolux has been nothing but an aggregation. I carefully selected this wonderful looking piece of equipment only to have the fridge konk out. Service was nothing but a run around...3 service visits and replacement of the mother board still resulted in an epic failure of now both the fridge and freezer. Local service company completely useless. Cannot express order parts. Dont even have basic parts for something that apparently is a chronic issue! Its going on 3 months with no fridge. Electrolux totally unresponsive pointing finger at repair co stating they cannot replace unit unless the company deems it unrepairable. Service co is so bad they move at a snails pace. Third visit stated that had never been to the house for a call before. Too many crossed wires. RECOMMENDATION: BUY A KENMORE FROM SEARS!

Purchased a pair of top of model laundry machine (EWFLS70JSS and EWMGD70JSS for 2900). Gasket was lumpy, color between the two unit was not matching. Dealer told me to contact manufacturer as the issue is caused during manufacturing process. Indeed, its obvious that something went wrong in the factory as model numbers were correct. Contacted Electrolux multiple times and they only agreed to exchange the rubber gasket. The color issue is cosmetic and theyre not responsible for it. Neither dealer nor manufacturer took ownership and each time I get the pass the buck response. Electrolux does not stand behind its defective products, only because it wasnt a functional issue. Im at a substantial loss right now, I paid full price to get lemons. Electrolux offers no help or support to customers. Because of this issue I had to waste numerous hours with customer service and issue still unresolved. The company is not even inclined to assist. Whats even more disappointing is that Electrolux has incomplete record of services. A technician came to diagnose the problems and agreed with the issues with the gasket and color differences. Now the gasket problem is related to the washer, but the service record stated that the repairer came in for the dryer. I will need to take another few days off from work for another diagnostic visit and then subsequent repairs. Electrolux doesnt recognize that the issue started with their manufacturing and had the laundry pair that I got been perfect I couldnt have saved many hours of time on the phone with them and I didnt have to forgo my income to stay home for their repair. Its very obvious that Electrolux doesnt care about us consumers as long as they make the sales. Avoid this brand, you dont get what you paid for. I completely lost confidence in this brand. I know it sounds ridiculous what happened to me, but I want to share my experience with other consumers and hopefully help them make an informed purchase decision.

We purchased a new home and bought the washer and dryer. When delivered, it was off balance and need a repair guy had to come in. Not a problem with the unit, just the service. When adjusted, the washer made very loud loud noise from rattles, belt rubbing, etc. We thought Electrolux was the top of the line, however, it’s just a terrible product. After one day, we asked the supplier to take them back. I wish it would have worked out. My only comment is BEWARE. We are now forced to find an alternative.

I have had this Electrolux EI23BC35K Counter Depth Refrigerator for about two weeks now, so I am ready to give it a review. Some things that I really like about it are: Looks great, doors and drawers all open and close smoothly. The LED lights come on and transition from off to full brightness in a couple of seconds. Rounded pyramid ice cubes from the door dispenser, and near half moon shaped cubes in the freezer, plenty of ice. So far, the ice makers are working perfectly. Temperature readings on the front display appear accurate. What I don't like about this refrigerator: The compressor and fans run constantly. I have only heard it shut off once, for about 15 minutes. Even after not being opened all night long, it is still running non-stop in the morning. It does have, as other reviewers have noted, a slight, high pitched whine coming from the compressor. It's not too loud, but noticeable. Since it never cycles off, it can be a bit annoying if you have good hearing and your kitchen is open to the living area. The water filling the ice makers makes a loud whoosh noise, much louder than my previous fridge. The refrigerator arrived in decent time, considering it had to be shipped from the east coast to the west coast. Upon arrival, the packaging appeared good, and once the cardboard was removed, it all looked good so I accepted delivery. After I completed the tedious task of removing the protective film from the stainless steel front, I found a small dent in the exact middle of the freezer door. It wasn't visible with the film on, and the film took a long time to remove as it was like peeling duct tape off. The blue film on the handles come off easily, but the somewhat clear film on the doors was a royal pain to remove, taking about 40 minutes to finish. I did not make the delivery people wait while I did this, so could not mark it as damaged in shipping, so I get to live with it. That being said, I am overall fairly happy with my purchase, but would really have to think twice about buying a major appliance this way again. I saved a couple hundred over buying locally, but lost out on having the slight damage repaired. The savings I made were used to buy a SquareTrade extended warranty and new water supply line. If I have any issues in the future, I will update my review.

We've owned 3 over-range microwaves and this is our first one that is also Convection. We love it! Larger than our previous ones and much quieter! Lights illuminating our Range are fantastic! Much better than previous units. We like that the control buttons are on the bottom, much easier for shorter folks to see but they are a bit hard to press to get them to do what you want it to do. Maybe they'll soften up with use...we'll see. We do wish the Countdown Timer (which we use quite often) would beep until we shut it off when the set moments have completed. It beeps several times and that's it. If we're not around when it beeps and forget to look to see if the countdown is complete, what we have it set for could get overcooked. Minor problem though...we'll just buy a separate timer at Wallyworld or BB&B.

Our washing machine broke after less than two years. We were required to use their service provider and have had NO resolution for 5 WEEKS! New parts ordered and many service appointments. Electrolux refuses to replace our machine which is irreparable. Customer service has been totally unhelpful. We will never buy an Electrolux product again. VERY disappointed and STILL without a washing machine.

Electrolux is not living up to the no lemon clause of their service contract which states that if the same part on an appliance is replaced three times the customer is entitled to a cash settlement or another comparable appliance. This contract is not followed by Electrolux for my washer because they do not maintain the records. I have an email from them which states this. Furthermore, the local service companies they use also have no accurate records. They reuse the same service tickets and do not record the part numbers so it is impossible for the customer to make a claim. I have proof of this as well. My transmission was replaced at least four times. They lie about fixing the machine which is still broken. According to them the washer moving away from the wall and damaging components is normal and operating according to factory specifications. Is this case a candidate for a class action law suit or other action?

I purchased a top of the line French Door refrigerator 7 years ago and have had a number of issues. Bad seals, broken parts, ice maker freezing up and now I am told the fridge will fail soon due to the internal thermal parts. Apparently I have a model that had a KNOWN PROBLEM on these models and similar Frigidaire models from 2011 to 2017!!!! Yes ELECTROLUX KNEW, BUT DID THEY DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT, seems to be a NO. They supposedly did some sort of recall but NOTHING I EVER RECEIVED. It is NOT COVERED ON YOUR HOME INSURANCE WARRANTY, in fact they tell you to CALL ELECTROLUX. So I did and I was on HOLD for 65 minutes, no mention of any sort of call back which many companies now do. I Guess ELECTROLUX WANTS TO MAXIMISE PROFITS!!!!The lady I spoke to KNEW about this issue (Just as the TECHNICIAN that came out KNEW about this issue). She ended up giving me the number for the CORPORATE OFFICE to speak to a SHELBY so I called. Guess what? Its just a number for Electrolux, no Shelby. This is a $2400 refrigerator, it is a piece of junk and Electrolux seems to be worthless. I have one of their freezers too and guess what? It has had PROBLEMS, so ELECTROLUX YOU APPEAR TO SELL CHEAP PRODUCTS AND DONT STAND BY YOUR PRODUCTS.

Purchased 10/31/09. Ice maker stopped working 6 mos after purchase. After 9 service calls, it is still not working. After 4 years, Electrolux offered to replace. I wanted a refund or extended warranty which they refused. When I decided to accept the offer, I was told it was no longer available. The freezer door handle is loose. The temp display is disappearing and there is a hole about 1 inch above the interior light where the paint is peeling. I suggest consumers with these problems contact the US Consumer Product Safety Commission at Cpsc.gov to file a report so we can get this unsafe product off the market and possibly get a refund.

Purchase a refrigerator less than 30 days ago to find it never worked right after 2 days. Home Depot has refused to take it back as it was over their 48 hour window. Frigidaire has taken nearly a month to repair it and there is still no ETA. It continues to run fighting to keep cool and fear the electric bill will be significantly higher.

We bought a new Electrolux double oven in 2011. In the last year, 2017-2018, we have had to replace TWICE the timer, the power relay, and the varispeed board. We now have the code F14 occurring whenever the oven reaches the temperature which causes the oven to turn off... Our repairman said it is not worth fixing a 3rd time because of faulty electronics. Do not buy this oven.

I purchased a new apartment sized washer dryer combo approximately 2 and a half years ago. It was always noisy when it was on the spin cycle but then the noise became unbearable so I called an authorized repair service. I was told the shaft was broken and it would cost $700 or more to repair and there was no guarantee it wouldn’t happen again, that cost me $100. I called and complained to Electrolux and they said all they would do was cover 20% of the cost of new parts which to me is next to nothing. So the lesson is if you buy from Electrolux get the extended warranty and good to you.

Electrolux-Frigidaire 5 Cu Ft Freezer. I have gone round and round with them over my Freezer making a noise every 10 to 20 minutes. This sound is like a mechanical switch turning on at 63 Decibel. They shift the blame on my set up saying that if I had it on a carpet and something to absorb the sound, it would be less noticeable. They do not say the sound doesnt happen but as long as it is still freezing this is okay. I am very dissatisfied with this unit. Admitting it freezes. But the noise is very aggravating. Sams club freezer is $100 cheaper and totally quiet.
