My washing machine broke a few weeks ago and Electrolux sent the most unqualified electrician to repair it. Not only did he fail to repair anything but charged me 240 dollars and tried to get me to pay double the amount for a new washer. A very dishonest company! I will never purchase anything from them again.

Not only was our washer and dryer late, but when they arrived, the stacking kit (that we purchased with it) AND the dryer vent did not come with. I tried calling like 10 different numbers to not get ANY help, still didnt. So when the delivery people came, they couldnt even set it up for us. Now we had to go back to Home Depot, explain, and show them we paid. They had trouble contacting them! So its going to be another week plus of waiting for the kit! That comes to almost 7 total weeks of waiting when they were originally scheduled to be here November 6 (originally with a 3 week waiting period). It is now November 27 and delivery date for this part is December 5. Im livid. Customer service reps are bogus and people didnt do their job right.

I bought Electrolux dryer EFMG627UTT recently on Sep 18. Dryer is taking too long to dry and customer service is poor. They already change the motherboard board and temp sensor. The predictive dry is stupid feature and not working good. The empty dryer with no load is running 1 hr and they claim that it can sense the load and moisture and predict accurately the running time. Means it should stop cycle in few min when load and moisture is 0. But still it predicts 57 min and running for 57. Technicians Jose says it is normal and per tech specification and when I asked what is the tech spec, he said he dont know. None of them in customer care knows that spec. Worst customer support and worst machine. If anybody can guide to sue them I will be happy to do. Reason of review: Poor customer service. Monetary Loss: $1800.

We have had an Electrolux dishwasher for two years. It worked great until last week and started leaking. I called Electrolux and they stated it was not under warranty, which I knew, and they could send out a repairman. There would be an $89.95 upfront charge which would go against the labor. It was a minor repair on the drain line that took about 10 minutes. However, I had to pay another $87.02 for labor and parts. The $89.95, according to the technician, was a trip charge only. That was not how it was represented by customer service. I called back and talked to a manager that said maybe the rep I had talked to had stated it incorrectly, duh, and that they would educate them to be more specific. It was an intentional misrepresentation in my opinion and they should have know better. I could have called a local company and gotten it done much cheaper.

We remodeled our kitchen several years ago and replaced our dishwasher, refrigerator and slide-in range/oven with Electrolux appliances. All three have required significant repairs or replacement. The dishwasher has failed twice and has “irreparable problem”. The wire that holds the door open in various position is connected to a molded plastic fitting in the frame. The fitting breaks off the molded plastic frame. The machine is build on and that’s that’s, you need a new dishwasher. After two years of service we received a $200. Credit toward our next $1,000+ machine. The fancy range we bought had a valve fail and that was $400. And the ice maker failed in the fridge. That was $350 for half an ice maker that now sounds like it’s grinding up glaciers. No more Electrolux for us!

Safety alert! Purchased this dryer from Sears in December 2017, and have experienced lint clogging problems in the fan assembly since then. Spoke with Rita ** at corporate, November 20, 2018, at 12:30 p.m. central standard time. She first asked what she could do to and I told her to pay for the parts I ordered or replace the dryer. I reviewed my original email message to her (Rita **) as she appeared to not have read it thoroughly. She stated that my installing the filter assembly lint clamshell (530451374) and the grill assembly lint with moisture sensor (5304515376) would void my manufacturers warranty. Even though the parts are newer models (for EFME627U) released after discontinuing my dryer model and would work by using longer mounting screws and transferring the original moisture sensor wire assembly, Electrolux would dismiss the unit and no longer honor the warranty. I stated that the engineers would be very happy to learn about the problem and the repair to correct using the newer design parts. I also asked Rita if she would like grandmothers or other elderly people to have to deal with the felt producing lint buildup in the fan assembly. I expressed concern regarding the high number of bad reviews of this dryer because of the lint problem. Rita promptly tried to tell me that the majority of the Internet reviews are negative at which point I cut her off and explained that I understand how the Internet works as I am an IT professional. People typically post detailed negative reviews when extremely frustrated or disappointed. Rita said something about posting good reviews and I told her that I do not post reviews for every service and item that delivers as expected. It is only the problems that need to be shared or those services or items that deliver in a much better than expected manner. Rita stated a minimum of three times that it was at my discretion to post negative reviews - even when I explained that they would be detailed. With all that said, are you certain that this direction is the one endorsed by Electrolux corporate? It is a great disappointment to me and I will need to spend more time to release the reviews as I do NOT want elderly people or others (think of your family and friends) to purchase such a problematic dryer. This dryer is the FIRST to exhibit these problems - even with washing and drying laundry containing MORE fur and lint with my previously owned, other branded, units. In all cases I am a fanatic about cleaning the lint screen and in the situation of the current Electrolux, stopping the cycle midway to perform an additional cleaning if I am drying whites (cotton based). Note that I also sent email messages to Alan Shaw and Jonas Samuelson receiving NO response or bounce messages (their email addresses are good). Will never purchase Electrolux products again.

We purchased an Electrolux French door refrigerator five years ago. It is now dead, as a problem with the ice maker caused the back of the refrigerator to completely rust out. I researched the issue and saw that this has happened dozens or hundreds of times with Electrolux refrigerators. I tried to get some satisfaction from the CEO, Alan Shaw, but he would not take my call, hiding behind a woman named Rita. They did offer me a 25% rebate on a new Electrolux product, but I would think since it is a known problem, and the unit only lasted 5 years, I would get a rebate of 65-75%. I was shocked when Rita told me that Electrolux refrigerators only last for 5-7 years. I don’t think I have ever had a refrigerator last less than 20 years. I have a new slogan for Electrolux - “buy an Electrolux - they only last 1/2 as long as the competition. Obviously, I will never buy another Electrolux product and I would encourage you to avoid them at all costs. They have no interest in customer satisfaction.

Purchased a matching refrigerator and freezer units with a trim kit for our newly built home. Prior to installing these units, both were plugged in to ensure they worked properly. The freezer did work without issue, however the refrigerator (after three services) still doesnt hold a temperature under 70 degrees. We asked for a replacement from the company we purchased it from (Jetson of Stuart Florida) and was told that the manufacture would not authorize a replacement because the unit could not be classified as unrepairable. Called the manufacture, and was told that they had no record of any service on the refrigerator. After the manufacture called the service department at Jetsons, and discovered no service call history was forwarded to the manufacture, all that could be done was another service call had to be set up. (Runaround, runaround). Of course a technician will get the unit to work for a few hours and again it will fail, and this merry-go-round will continue. I am out $2,000 and no working refrigerator. Buyer be aware, every seller of appliances must follow the manufacture replacement policies. Once you take delivery you are stuck.

Based on positive reviews across the web, bought Electrolux EFLS617 washer and matching dryer. Empty Nest household - Washer quit after 6 weeks. Warranty service into 3rd week wait. Local Service provider stated failed part is recall, and tells us min 2 weeks. I call 2 weeks later, part ordered through distributor and is on back order with no eta available. Called Electrolux for help to on recalled part; Electrolux rep stated part is not recall and would not assist in tracking part down. Asked to speak to customer satisfaction dept; rep stated This is Electrolux customer satisfaction and said no more. It appears Electrolux reps are trained robots assigned to only check failed appliance is registered under your name. This rep deflected all my questions to local service provider. No help, no empathy, no apology for failure or inconvenience. Attitude not helpful - I suspect that failure is their normal. And I’m stuck without a washer. Sorry I bought this washer.

Warning. Do not buy from this company. We bought a Frigidaire double oven. Paid $1500. The very first time we try to cook on it the unit completely shorted out. We contacted Electrolux. They sent out J&M appliances to repair the unit. They replaced the fans four times, the motherboard three or four times plus numerous other parts. J&M Appliances have been to my house 10 times to fix different things but it went wrong with the unit and four times to diagnose it. They called Electrolux for me trying to get me a new unit being it was only a few months old. Electrolux denied the new unit so, I’ve sent emails to the CEO jonas.samuelson@electrolux.com and I believe it was the Vice President jan.brockmann@electrolux.com. Neither of them have responded back to me. Here’s the kicker. I spoke with a RITA **. She’s some kind of an executive assistant pretty high up. I told her I wanted a new unit. That this was ridiculous having to leave work and meet the service rep 14 times. So she told me she was not going to replace the unit. I was out of luck. Mind you it’s still under the one-year warranty. I have proof with the receipt. She didn’t care. Also Rita ** put a block on my Electrolux account so nobody else can help me with the problem anymore. I’ve called them numerous times asking to speak or two different managers and the managers tell me that she put a lock on it and only she can get into my account now. Be warned about this company. Do not purchase any of their appliances. The one year manufacturer warranty or any other warranties do not matter to this company. Do your research. Read all the reviews on Facebook, Yelp and any other social media. I should’ve done it before I purchased with them. I would not have bought any of my appliances through them. This is one crooked company.

We bought a Frigidaire refrigerator back in June, 2018. In August 1st, the refrigerator started to act up and stop making any ice or throwing any water. Since it is still under the first year warranty covered by the company, I called Electrolux to have this issue fixed. They have sent five repairs technician from two different service companies to fix this issue and have not fix this yet. Every time a new technician comes to diagnose it, they have to order a part. They have replaced so many parts and still not fixed yet. After three months waiting for technicians and parts to come, I request Electrolux to replace the unit and they rejected the request. They told me that they cant replace it until a technician tells them its non-fixable (the technician will never tell them its non-fixable because hes making money every time he comes to diagnose/repair it). In the meantime, we cant use our product after we paid so much. Electrolux does not stand up for their products, they will have you on and on until you give up and suck it up or until the warranty expires so the problem can be on you.

I bought a brand new Electrolux dishwasher in February. It never worked correctly so I called Electrolux as it was brand new. Over the past 6 months they have sent 5 Electrolux certified repairmen over. Each one has given me a different excuse and remedy. I finally talked to one of these repairmen and asked why I kept getting these remedies and not a replacement and I was informed that if he were to say that the dishwasher needed to be returned or replaced that he might lose his contract as a certified Electrolux repairman. In January 2016 I purchased an Electrolux electric range, model E130EF4CQSB, serial number AF55000584. In February 2017 while I was cooking dinner one evening, the glass cooktop suddenly shattered. I called Electrolux customer service and was told to email pictures of the damage, which I did. About five minutes later Electrolux called me back to say that their technician had determined that I caused the damage by dropping a heavy object onto the cooktop. I protested that I had done nothing of the kind, but was told the technicians judgment was final and my (five-year) warranty on the cooktop would not be honored. Subsequently I had to pay $570.40 to have the cooktop replaced. I do not believe that Electrolux has a technician standing by at all times to assess broken cooktops. I think the company simply defrauds customers by declaring falsely that customer abuse has occurred.

It was always noisy when it was on the spin cycle but then the noise became unbearable so I called an authorized repair service. I was told the shaft was broken and it would cost $700 or more to repair and there was no guarantee it wouldn’t happen again, that cost me $100. Purchased brand new front load ElFLS60LTI Electrolux washer and dryer July 2015. Washer leaking from underneath and called service repair company. Back metal wheel with rubber belt had continually been cutting away into the back of the drum and carved out a hole where water leaked out. There was plenty of shredded strips of the rubber belt at bottom of the unit due to half of the belt eroding away as it was carved into the back of drum with the metal wheel. Not worth money to repair. I took photos and called Electrolux customer service and asked for a discount toward a new washer or even a used washer since this one was in use for only 2.5 years. The answer was NO. They suggested I shop around for deals. They did offer me 50% off any parts. Nothing toward labor. So I might as well buy a new washing machine. How about offering me 50% off a washer since this clearly was a defect. Anyway, I will never purchase an Electrolux product again.

In April of 2015 we purchased a new home from a builder. The builder had Electrolux appliances installed so we went with what they had not knowing what a nightmare that would be! The first visit from a repair company happened within 60 days of being in our home. They ended up removing the refrigerator and giving us a new one because the fridge had a bent frame! The second refrigerator is still in our home and I have had to call and have 2 more service calls. Now, we are dealing with an ice maker that isnt working properly so we have ice building up on the back wall of our refrigerator which pushes the drawers out of their slides. We are now waiting for parts that are on backorder so our repair can be done. No worries, I can keep chipping ice off of the back of my brand new fridge! When you call Electrolux for a repair you end up speaking to people who never give you the same information about how or when the service appointment will happen. Their customer service is a mess and the real joke is that they ask you when you are finished setting up another appointment if you would like to take a survey to tell them how they are doing! Ha! Electrolux products, service and service providers stink and as a company they should be ashamed of themselves for making such crap products and charging so much for them! Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for appliances. I mean really, how many days do you want to sit home from 8am-1pm or 1pm to 5pm waiting for repair work to be done? Lifes too short for that!

They called me back in 3 days and stated I would be getting a call from a service tech within the next couple of days to schedule an appt. Never received a call. I called Electrolux to advise and they stated they again would contact the service tech. I received a call from the service tech stating they do not service Electrolux contracts, and they have no idea why Electrolux would contact them as they only service Frigidaire contracts. I called Electrolux and advised of my conversation with the service tech. An Electrolux mgr. stated he would elevate my service request and I should hear from someone in 2-3 days. I asked, then how many days before I would be able to get service. He basically gave me the impression I should be glad that he elevated my request. I gave it some thought, looked in my yellow pages and noted tons of refrigerator repairmen. Called Electrolux back and asked if I should find someone to service my refrigerator would they reimburse? They said I would need to pay the service tech, submit the bill to Electrolux and they would determine if they would reimburse, because the repairmen in the area were not designated Frigidaire repairmen. So, here I sit, just thinking what an absolute nightmare and waste of time and money dealing with what appears to be a worthless Electrolux warranty.

I did not get the warranties because them in themselves were expensive as well.Lets start with the microwave because it had the least problems and lasted the longest. Two years ago the door panel came partly loose. Only I had it fixed was because I had gotten the home warranty for all household appliances and it was covered under that warranty. Along with the other two appliances that I am going to talk about. Last year the spring broke so the door would not close. My husband tried to fix it and in the midst of doing that he broke the top piece. A friend came over and saw that the door was taped shut. He asked what was wrong with it; I told him and he fixed for me. The top piece could not be fixed because it was plastic. Thank goodness he didnt charge me. He said it was a minor fix. The top piece I just laid it back on top. You couldnt tell it was detached. Now this year the microwave stop working all together. I put something in it to warm up and it did not come on DEAD. I never cooked in it anyway but dead after 5 1/2 years.Next we are going to talk about the cooktop. I picked out the 36 in induction cooktop. It was working good. I was excited I had gotten it then after 6 months the burners seem to no be cooking as well. I had to cook the food on high if I was using more than one burner because it was not cooking well and taking forever to cook. Thank goodness not was burning. I thought something was wrong but I could not figure out what it was. Then one day when I was cooking for the holidays, midway through cooking the hold cooktop shut off. At that point I had to wait for the fans to cool the cooktop off. Once that happen I had to cook everything one at a time till I was finish cooking. Needless to say I was upset. That Monday I called the Electrolux and they called a service tech out because it was still just under their warranty . When he finally came out he told me that it was a good thing it had shut itself off because it could have set the house on fire. Like that is something a home owner wants to hear. He told me he had to order the part. It took three weeks for that part to come in. No problems after that until the fourth year and it did it again. By this time I had gotten the home warranty I spoke of earlier and thank goodness for that because we had problem after problem. This time one side of the cooktop could not work. The service people sent someone to fix it. Then two months later the other side when out. They sent the same person out again. Then the other side that had been fixed went out again so he had to come back. This was every two months for 8 months. Then finally he realized something was burning out the circuit boards and fix it. No more problems but on the induction side you cannot burn the 2 burners on the same temperature or you will get an error. Thats a small price to pay for not being able to use your appliance that you paid hard earn money for 8 months. Finally we get to the double oven. The first problem I had was the Led lights went out. That was still under factory warranty. This happen two months after we moved in. The next problem again like the cooktop, the oven sensor went out, this was 6 months after we moved in. They came and fixed that. I had no problems until again like the cooktop in the 4th year. I was cooking on normal bake and the oven seem like it wasnt getting hot. Then I started using the convection bake then it seem like it was doing the same thing. One day I was standing there looking at the stove wondering what to do, my daughter said Momma I told you the bottom oven works better than the top. At that point I turned both ovens on and the bottom oven heated up faster than the top. So for a while we used the bottom oven for cooking until it was doing the same thing as the top. The problem with the oven was happening at the same time with the cooktop but it had to be 2 different work orders. The oven took longer to get fixed than the cooktop because we had to wait longer until the part to come in. So I didnt have a oven for 11 months. Because you could not use 1 oven without the other because they were on the same circuit board. Since then we can use both ovens but the bottom oven is still hotter than the top and it still heats up quicker.

I had my cabinets professionally repainted and new countertops put in so the spot for the fridge was built in and therefore couldn’t fit a subzero without changing out the cabinetry. This fridge gave me a similar look for a fraction of the price and I couldn’t be happier with it.

We purchased the washer and dryer in 2017. Was supposed to be this great pair. Well, its February 2, 2019 and the dryer just died. Cant get repair over for 4 days and who knows how long to get parts. Ive had approximately 4 other brands of washers over the years and have never had one do this. All of my washers and dryers lasted well over 10 years. NOT THIS ONE. Luckily, we are building a new home and wont take this or buy another. BEWARE!

We bought our current washer and dryer set around 3 years ago. After the first few months the washer EIFLS60LT1 completely failed and needed a new drum, bearing belt and pulley. It was replaced for us. After another few months the exact same problem came up and got fixed under warranty. Now a couple years later the same problem is starting again with failing bearings and also the LCD screen quit working shortly after it was fixed under warranty.

I purchased a brand new Zanussi, European brand from Electrolux, washing machine in May 2011. It was not shipped through to Brazil. When we arrived and tried to use it for first time in November 2011, the machine would not even start. I contacted Electrolux in London and got referred to Brazilian side. I contacted Brazilian side and got referred to local service company. I contacted the service company, who immediately responded by sending a repairman the next day. The repairmen could not resolve the problem and promised to contact us back shortly once he obtains the diagrams for this particular type. I never heard back from him.I called again in January and got a new repairman. This one confirmed that two parts are faulty and must be obtained by them. I never heard back from him again. I contacted again in February, in March and in April. Nothing is being done. In fact, each time we call, the registration number they gave us the last time is incorrect, so we are told.So not only does Electrolux honor its warranty obligations, they do not deliver on promises. They also try to lie and cancel out warranty policies by providing incorrect record numbers. I bet that when we call end of April, when our warranty nearly runs out, they will not be able to assist as our warranty has run out. What a disgrace of a company!

My husband and I purchased an Electrolux refrigerator from Lowes in March of 2017. In May of 2017 we moved into our new home that was just built. In August, 2017, I came home to water in my kitchen that was coming thru the ceiling of my finished basement. A repairman was sent out to replace a part. In September, 2017, I was standing at my kitchen sink and the water dispenser just came on. Thankfully I was home to shut off the water. The repairman asked me to videotape it the next time it happened to document it! Another part was ordered and replaced.About 10 days ago (October, 2018), I woke up early to get a glass of water and found myself standing in water and water again coming thru the basement ceiling. Lowes stated I was out of warranty and to contact Electrolux directly, which I did. This morning a 3rd repairman came out and again stated a part needed to be replaced. I requested Electrolux replace this obvious lemon of a refrigerator but they will not. They can only offer me an extended warranty thru March 2019. I have no confidence in this product. I will not be able to leave my house or go to bed any night for fear that this will happen a 4th time. How many times does this product have to ruin my home before it will be replaced? Do not buy model E123CS35KS4A if you value your home. Shame on Electrolux for not standing by their product.

We bought the El23BC60KS French door refrigerator. We immediately noticed a constant loud whirring noise and horrible high pitched tone, and the freezer frosted up. The high pitched noise is unbearable, and the compressor never shuts off. Even though this was a brand new refrigerator, Electrolux will not replace it. They said they require two functional failures to replace a new fridge. They only offered to send a repairman to fix it. I did not pay for a repaired refrigerator. They said we will have to work with the retailer to resolve the matter (who says we will have to deal with Electrolux). Today my carrots are frozen, and the freezer is white with frost. We paid $2500 for a defective fridge, and Electrolux will not stand behind their product. Two different customer service reps even told me the same lie about defective cars they bought, and how the dealers would not replace the cars. Horrible product and horrible customer service!

Upon installation by Electrolux technicians the next day, the freezer had a thumping sound and ice formations inside the door. We called the technicians who came several times, made some installations on the door, but never resolved the problems. Lately, Electrolux does not answer our calls, and we are unable to have this problem corrected, or receive a new freezer. The freezer has an air leak which has not been corrected and Electrolux has offered no new solution or help.

First to go was the Dryer first indicated by an error code. Next was their top of the line oven stove Microwave followed by the Dishwasher and not long after came the failure of the Refrigerator. The digital display on the stove is no longer readable. That leaves the Washer which for the life of me I can’t understand why it’s still working. We’ve replaced all of them needless to say with other brands. Never again Electrolux.

Microwave (Model # EI30BM60MSA / Serial # KG42833822) I purchased a newly constructed home on 03/04/2015. I paid an upgrade charge to have Electrolux appliances installed in my kitchen. I received a one year warranty. Six months after owning the microwave the door handle broke off upon opening it. There are two non-body building adults and no children in the house. It was covered under warranty. A technician was dispatched. He was unable to replace the door handle and had to replace the entire door (destroying my wall in the process). Six months after that, the same thing happened with the door handle breaking off. No coverage as warranty expired eleven (11) days prior. I called Electrolux customer service and spoke with a supervisor. Although polite, she definitely was reading from a memorized script (really frustrating). She was unable to assist with my issue beyond just sending a replacement door handle. I explained to her my disappointment with Electrolux products and she stated she would make note of my complaint. Amazing.I will reiterate my extreme dissatisfaction with Electrolux products and its customer support. This issue is clearly an ongoing one as it has happened twice within a year. At the very least, Electrolux should dispatch and pay for a technician to replace the door handle ESPECIALLY since the last technician found it impossible to perform. If a technician found it impossible, what makes Electrolux think that a customer can replace the handle? Stand by your products Electrolux.

Shortly after moving, we decided to upgrade to an Electrolux French Door refrigerator and their newest and best dishwasher. The retailer that I had purchased it from closed their doors a week later after 50+ years in business and left us with only the manufacturers warranty since they never paid the company for the extended protection. After several attempts to get the refrigerator repaired, within the original manufacturer warranty, from the time it was delivered in October of 2014 with the dishwasher, until December we had over 5 service calls, 30+ phone calls and emails, and over 2 hours of video documenting the problems they refused to replace it, insisting they have the right to exhaust all efforts to fix it, at my inconvenience and expense apparently. I even offered to pay any difference in model to try to expedite a return if that was a holdup. I gave them one more opportunity to pick it up, I had already purchased another refrigerator. I suggested that since they keep insisting it still could be repairable although no one can come up with any solutions, that they pick it up, fix it, and donate it to a shelter of their choosing. We dont do that is all I heard. I refused to go into another holiday with this incessant noise issue. I scrapped the fridge (yes actually) and replaced it with a Samsung that has required no service. Now the dishwasher, that has already had 2 service calls in just under 16 months is not functioning again and again I am without the appliance I paid over $800 for and am waiting on a repair and will see just how long parts will take this time. We did not opt to extend the warranty since it only continues to feed the beast that really could care less about its end users. If this becomes an issue, I know that I will be replacing it within the month. The moral of the story is, if you do not have the time to have non functioning appliances or the money to replace them when you have no alternative since the Electrolux Company really doesnt care if they lose customers, DO not buy this brand. I cannot stress enough how much I regret these purchases and the amount of energy expended. As I tried to get them to understand, these are appliances, I should not have to think about them or expend energy on them, they should just work until they dont and then they get replaced. If we are happy with the performance we are more likely to keep in the same brand. I repeat, Electrolux - they just do not care!

I have been waiting 6 weeks for my washer to get fixed. I can’t seem to get anyone in the warranty customer service department at RC Willey to tell me at what point I will have a working washer. The repair company has been out three times to repair the washer with no success. Prior to this I had the dryer fixed 2 times using the Electrolux first year warranty and one time through the RC Willey Warranty. Each repair takes a minimum of 2 weeks to complete. The washer/dryer set is 2 years old. I have contacted Electrolux and they said I have a parts warranty but will have to pay out of pocket if I don’t use the warranty. What is the point of purchasing a warranty if you never have a working product? I’m trying really hard to understand why it is so hard to complete the repairs on the unit I have. If you sell a warranty you should stand behind it. I will never buy Electrolux again and most certainly will never purchase anything from RC Willey. Extremely disappointed in both companies.

They have highly rated products but the service is just awful. Bought through Sears a brand new 8 ft gas dryer (EFMG617STT) and it started making a noise right after installation. The installation person told us the noise would go away. Over 3 months the noise turned into a vibration until we couldnt run it. Had signed up for the Electrolux Platinum Star Limited Warranty so called up and they sent out a service repair company (All County Appliance Service) who determined it needed a blower wheel and motor. It has now been 2 weeks without them being able to fix the dryer. My wife has spent more than 10 hours on the phone tracking it down and no-one can tell where the parts are and when they can fix it. It turns out the repair company has a 1 star rating on Yelp and they dont even answer the phone most of the time and when they do, they refer to Electrolux regarding sending the parts. Electrolux (we have talked to 3 different people) say they have many clients except us and we need to wait. When we contacted Sears (which we have 3 times and they hanged up last time) they say we need to contact Electrolux. Never seen anything like this...ever. Especially when you pay $1200 for a top of the line appliance.

In September 2013 I purchased numerous appliances for a house I was renovating. Among those were an Electrolux washer, dryer and 2 wine refrigerators. The appliances were delivered and installed in February 2014. The dryer steam valve malfunctioned in less than a year flooding the laundry room and damaging the wood floor; that was repaired under warranty. The washer malfunctioned a few months later - out of warranty - when it would not spin clothes dry. That required a service call and parts replacement for $454. About a year later the same problem arose. Another service call, another $454. Recently the problem occurred for the 3rd time. I was told that I needed a new drive belt and that the bearings were bad. The quote to repair was more than the cost of a new washer. I replaced washer and dryer with Maytag versions. The wine refrigerators have fixed shelves so close together that Burgundy style bottles cannot be placed on them without causing the shelf above to come out as well. The only solution is to skip a shelf if you need to store bottles wider than standard. Oh, yes, one of the refrigerators temperature controls no longer works.

I will NEVER buy another Electrolux product. Its too bad I wasnt wise enough to check reviews before buying. Almost from the start I had issues with the ice dispenser. After many phone calls & service calls, at least 5, after changing celluloid, main board, ice bucket assembly, they sent 3 incorrect ones before I got the correct one. Mind you they had the part #, after taking at least 4 days off from work to be home for repair tech, I am now close to spending $700.00 in parts. (Oh, they give a 20 percent discount on parts that I have no way of breaking, a celluloid, that takes about 20 minutes to get to?) Main board? Really? I now have the pleasure of a sporadic high temp 58 degree refrigerator & again no help from Electrolux. They use cheap parts & dont stand behind their product. NEVER AGAIN.

Freezer door handle cannot be secured, and thusly hangs loosely and sloppy. If my recollection is correct, I believe this unit was billed as the most quiet refrigerator ever when first released. In 2011, my wife and I installed Electrolux appliances in our new home: Range model EW301S65JSA; Dishwasher model EIDW6105GS1A; Microwave model E124M0451BA; and Refrigerator model EI28BS56ISD. To say that we have been disappointed would be an understatement. Over the past 3 years we have resided in the house for approximately 20 months. During that time, every one of the appliances has failed. The refrigerator stopped making ice. An Electrolux-certified repairman replaced the control board twice, replaced a faulty solenoid once, and finally replaced the entire refrigerator with a new unit. The microwave display failed after approximately 9 months, so that we are unable to read a portion. Three days ago, the dishwasher stopped in the middle of a cycle: all lights on the pad on the top of the door remained unlit; no lights appeared on the panel behind the kick plate at the base of the unit; turning off power for 30 minutes and then turning back on produced no change. The range has occasionally beeped and flashed an F11 warning, which we have resolved by turning off power for several minutes then turning back on. Today, the F11 error and beeping appeared, and after shutting off power for 30 minutes the error continues. To summarize, every Electrolux unit we purchased has let us down. Currently, two are not functioning. We will have to pay the exorbitant cost of repair. Sadly, it seems we will have to replace the units sooner than expected, and with appliances that have a better track record than Electrolux.

In January, 2017 we purchased the top of the line Electrolux Washer and Gas Dryer. Shortly after the washing machine was installed, water started to leak from under the unit. It flooded our laundry room. A week later a tech showed up and diagnosed that a pump was installed incorrectly at the factory. Two weeks later it was replaced. Guess what? It continued to leak. This time I asked for a different tech to come out to ensure he knew what he was doing. He determined it was a different pump that was cracked so another part had to be ordered. By this time I was so upset that I demanded a new machine. After much negotiation, Electrolux agreed to replace the washer. Now last week, our dryer stopped working. We started to notice about a month ago that it was taking longer to dry clothes. Finally on Jan. 5th exactly one year from when we took delivery, the machine stopped working. I called Electrolux Jan. 8th and they said the one year warranty is up so I have to pay for a service call. In April 2008, I purchased from Lowe’s (Preston Road, Dallas, Texas) Electrolux appliances a double oven, a microwave and a dishwasher. Ive had nothing but problems with them all, but the double oven is the worst! Ive been without oven since November 21st, 2011, no oven for Thanksgiving and Christmas. We have had 5 service visits with no resolution. It appears Electrolux and Lowe’s doesnt care! Dont buy from them.

We purchased both an Electrolux gas-oven/range and a refrigerator a few years back at a high-end appliance store for our new remodeled $150,000 kitchen. With the assumption that Electrolux has been in the business of developing and building appliances for many other well-known companies, was why we decided to go with their new line. Unfortunately, their appliance line is far from quality, and just cheap junk that starts having serious problems within six months of use. First off, our Model: EW30DS65GS Gas Oven/Range’s circuit board started having issues right off the bat. Now mind you, I have owned a few LED alarm clocks that have lasted me over fifteen years without any problems.Within one year, the LED display on our Electrolux Gas Oven/Range went dead, and we were told it would cost us $350.00 to replace it because it was out of warranty. Our Electrolux refrigerator is just as pathetic, and we have had it serviced out more than five times within the first year, just so our food didn’t go bad! Their customer service is a joke, and they could care less about their customers. It’s fairly obvious that Electrolux appliances are just a cheap line of poorly built Chinese junk for the ignorant mass-market. Don’t waste your money or time!

The sealed unit developed a leak after 4 years. Had service company reclaim and inject leak freeze into unit and recharged. 6 months later same problem-unable to fix leak in the wall of unit anymore. I asked the tech if this was unusual. Tech says yes, but this brand typically only lasts 8 years anyway! 4 years and $2400.00 later, hauled away to the junk yard.

We purchased our home with seemingly new Frigidaire/Electrolux appliances. Fridge, a GLR T217TDKD, does not seal well and hangs on hinges poorly. The gasket fell out. Microwave (model FMV156DCC) handle fell off and the machine makes an electronic whine/grind sound while cooking (and no, its not the turntable mechanism). I wonder if we are being irradiated. Dishwasher, model FDB2000RFC1, is frighteningly loud. Grind, grind, grind. Avoid Electrolux/Frigidaire like the plague. Its the Yugo of appliance makers. I am out of warranty, sadly. Whatever happened to quality?

I bought the top of the line appliances by Electrolux for my kitchen. The really pretty one Kelly Rippa advertises. The designers did an excellent job. Love the design and functionality of the dishwasher, fridge and stove. Sadly, the designers were wonderful, but the engineers were terrible. Dishwasher - leaves chalky residue on everything and gets error codes 11 and 1 all the time and has had several repairs that took FOREVER. Stove - needed a new board after only a few weeks. Fridge - has error code EF for evaporator fan. Ice Maker - lets just say that if they had tried to make a more terrible ice maker that it would not be possible. It cannot keep up with a family of 4 without running out. You put it on cube and it crushes the ice. I hate it. These appliances are only 6 years old and I paid a fortune for them. What a shame that something designed so well is engineered so badly. I will NEVER buy anything Electrolux again!!!

I purchased a $2700.00 Electrolux French Door refrigerator. The computer board broke weeks after the warranty expired. It cost almost $550.00 to repair. Next the icemaker and water dispenser stopped working about a year ago. Electrolux knew of the problem and made a kit to address the poor quality and design. After almost 6 months without ice, they finally provided the kit and paid for the repairs. Two weeks later the same problem. Electrolux poor design causes the water reservoir to freeze. The customer service representative offered to sell me another repair kit at a 20% discount. She stated that my warranty expired so they no longer have an obligation to stand by their product. I will never purchase another Frigidaire or Electrolux product again. Buyer beware. Customer service is a joke.

Very expensive French door model purchased almost four years ago. Problems with the icemaker from almost day one. Repairman needed almost every six months. Right now, it functions, but is very NOISY - grinds when trying to make ice. I learned too late from other reviews that the icemaker never worked on the wave/touch model and there seems to be nothing the manufacturer can or will do.

The grates on the top stove do NOT come clean. I have tried every product available on the market. Now my racks wont come out of the oven and the temperature doesnt get hot. We bought a new Electrolux refrigerator in July of 2014 and were told by our sales person that Electrolux was a higher grade brand. We believed him and opted to spend a little more to get what we thought would be a bit better quality. Were we wrong! One year and one week to the day, our wiring harness burned out, causing my entire house to smell of burn plastic. All of my food took on the taste and smell of burnt plastic and my refrigerator stopped cooling. When I called Electrolux, they basically told me we were out of luck since we were out of warranty, but they could offer me an extended warranty for $575 (what a deal). We have spent the last 2 days fighting with them over this piece of crap refrigerator that lasted us an entire year and we can either buy the extended warranty or be forced to buy an entirely new refrigerator. Needless to say, I will NEVER buy an Electrolux appliance as long as I live. I will go out of my way to tell people what a substandard product they manufacture and how they provide no concern for customer service or satisfaction. As a consumer I have to wonder why companies push extended warranties when they claim that their products are superior in quality. Shouldnt a refrigerator last longer than 1 year?

I have had this Electrolux EI23BC35K Counter Depth Refrigerator for about two weeks now, so I am ready to give it a review. Some things that I really like about it are: Looks great, doors and drawers all open and close smoothly. The LED lights come on and transition from off to full brightness in a couple of seconds. Rounded pyramid ice cubes from the door dispenser, and near half moon shaped cubes in the freezer, plenty of ice. So far, the ice makers are working perfectly. Temperature readings on the front display appear accurate. What I don't like about this refrigerator: The compressor and fans run constantly. I have only heard it shut off once, for about 15 minutes. Even after not being opened all night long, it is still running non-stop in the morning. It does have, as other reviewers have noted, a slight, high pitched whine coming from the compressor. It's not too loud, but noticeable. Since it never cycles off, it can be a bit annoying if you have good hearing and your kitchen is open to the living area. The water filling the ice makers makes a loud whoosh noise, much louder than my previous fridge. The refrigerator arrived in decent time, considering it had to be shipped from the east coast to the west coast. Upon arrival, the packaging appeared good, and once the cardboard was removed, it all looked good so I accepted delivery. After I completed the tedious task of removing the protective film from the stainless steel front, I found a small dent in the exact middle of the freezer door. It wasn't visible with the film on, and the film took a long time to remove as it was like peeling duct tape off. The blue film on the handles come off easily, but the somewhat clear film on the doors was a royal pain to remove, taking about 40 minutes to finish. I did not make the delivery people wait while I did this, so could not mark it as damaged in shipping, so I get to live with it. That being said, I am overall fairly happy with my purchase, but would really have to think twice about buying a major appliance this way again. I saved a couple hundred over buying locally, but lost out on having the slight damage repaired. The savings I made were used to buy a SquareTrade extended warranty and new water supply line. If I have any issues in the future, I will update my review.

I purchased a Electrolux washer and dryer in the fall of 2015 and it has broken 4-5 times. Each time it takes 2-3 weeks for repair. This August they replaced the drum, a plastic piece that goes around the drum and the bearings. Five months later the plastic piece has started leaking a lot. So I have been out of a washer for 2 weeks now... never have I had a washer break so much... I bought it because this was suppose to be the best. Boy were they wrong!Updated on 1/15/2018: I recently wrote a review on my Electrolux washer. It was leaking water and the service person came out and said a plastic piece that wraps around the drum had cracked and they had to replace the drum, bearings and the plastic piece all had just been replaced 5 months before. It took 2 months for them to replace them 5 months ago. For 2 months I was without a washer. They replaced the part Jan 4th. The drum and plastic piece were covered in rust which is why my clothes were getting rust on them. Well 8 days later the washer will not drain. This is the fifth time since I bought the washer 2 1/2 years ago that it has broke. The insurance company says the same Part has to break 5 times before they replace it. This is the 2 or 3rd time the pump has broke. For a high-end washer this washer has been nothing but broke.

I purchased an Electrolux washer and a dryer from a local appliance store - Appliance World in Huntington, November 24, 2012. The washer and dryer were delivered on December 10, 2012 and were both not working. The washer was leaking water all over the floor, and the dryer was making a really loud banging sound. I have contacted Appliance World and they informed me that they have a no return policy, and that I have to work directly with Electrolux. I have contracted Electrolux and they have sent a service man to my house 3 different times to fix the problems. My washer currently seems to be working. However, the dryer is still not working - making the same loud noise. I have had to take 3 days off from work for these service calls, and Electrolux is now saying I have to have a 4th service call and that my warranty does not include replacement of the machine.

About 3 years ago we remodeled our kitchen and purchased the top model refrigerator that Electrolux had to offer. Within a year, they replaced the entire refrigerator for free because the ice maker could not be repaired. After owning the second refrigerator for a year, we began to experience problems with the ice maker again. We had to pay $250 to have the ice maker replaced. Now, another year in, we are having issues again. The ice maker has stopped producing ice again and I have had to call a serviceman to come and repair it. This is really frustrating and disappointing. I would never purchase nor recommend an Electrolux refrigerator again. Call Electroluxs customer service was fruitless.

I purchased a Electrolux refrigerator on 2/10/2013. After I purchased the refrigerator the ice maker didnt work. The repair man came out to my house and said the water line was frozen and that this was a known issue. He place a part in the refrigerator that would stop the line from freezing. Now, for the last month my ice maker hasnt worked. I had a repair man from ASI appliance repair company come out. He said that the ice tray had a crack in it and that a piece broke off that this was the cause of the ice maker not working. I gave it 24hrs. to produce ice, nothing happen. The repair came back out and said that I need a back panel deterioration Kit and that it will extend my refrigerator out two inches. Also, that the manufacturing is aware of this problem. So, in short Im very dissatisfied with this product. I paid a lot of money for what I thought I was getting a high end refrigerator. This unit is only 3 yrs old. I want to know what are you going to do. At this present time I will never purchase another Electrolux product and will inform social media and friends to do the same.

Bought 20 cuft Frigidaire freezer in Dec. 2020. Did not work correctly after 2 weeks, frosted up. Fan stopped working. Light did not work. Electrolux who now owns frigidaire, sent out service man a week later. After missing with the door the service man said he would have to order a new door and gasket. After several weeks (the freezer had now stopped working) the door and gasket where delivered. The service man never returned or answered my calls. I called electrolux. They sent out a different company. After a few weeks the service man said he would have to order some parts. He did do something with the fan motor. He did order some parts. After several weeks, 3 or 4 I called the service company and they told me that one of the parts was on back order. After 6 months the part came in. A month before I plugged in the freezer and it started working. Still frosted up and no light. The service man returned and after about 30 minutes he said it needed another part. He was not using the part we had waited over 6 months to get. A week later he returned, put some shims in the original door and everything worked right. Not end of story. The new door is still on my sun room floor on a pallet (6ft long). Its now been 8 months, They kept telling me they were going to pick it up. Now they say because its a residence they cant get it pick up, they had it DELIVERED. Now they say its up to me to dispose of it at my expense. I think I am going to try and sell it!

I purchased an Electrolux washer and dryer set 2 years ago in silver grey colour. Right from the start the doors on both units would not close properly, nor would the detergent dispenser drawer on the washer. As well, you could not partially close the door when airing the washer after using it, meaning the door stayed wide open. This required placing the machine in an area where no children/people would walk past it and hook on to the door. THEN, the entire control panel went on the washer. We were told that Electrolux no longer made that model - ONE YEAR AFTER PURCHASE, and that instead of repairing it, the warranty company replaced it with the next newer model. This entailed that we also had to replace our DRYER, since the new washers colour was a different colour of grey, and the units no longer matched. UGLY!! The 5-year warranty we purchased at the initial time of washer purchase was now also void, meaning we would have to pay AGAIN if we wanted extended warranty. I tried contacting Electrolux Canada to ask if we could get a rebate or refund for the extra costs we endured because their units were faulty and outdated so soon after purchase. Thats when the real trouble started. The young girl at their customer service was the rudest, uncaring person I have ever encountered in the business. She said if it wasnt a warranty issue, that she would do nothing to assist me. She refused to put me through to her supervisor, and any emails that would be sent would go back to her. There was no logic in her approach and needless to say, the whole experience left me totally frustrated and disappointed. I even tried reaching someone at Electroluxs USA and European Office, but was told that it was not within their area, and that I would have to contact their Canadian office- even after I had explained my problems with the first line person there. No one offered to contact a supervisor on my behalf, or even give me a direct telephone number or email address where I could contact a supervisor myself. Although the machines - one year old, are still working, I will never again buy ANY product from Electrolux, after having the worst customer service experience of my life!

Purchased an Electrolux refrigerator in June of 2011. I did not bother with an extended warranty. From my past experiences with refrigerators, I figured that I should at least get about 7 or 8 years of use at the minimum.Three months later, while opening the refrigerator, the handle came off in my hand. It actually broke where it connected to the screws on the door. At the time, I had other issues that were deemed more important, so I did not bother with having it repaired. The following summer, I noticed that on very hot or humid days, the refrigerator did not get as cold as it normally functioned. That would last for several days and then miraculously it would return to the normal set temperature. This continued to occur this summer also. From day one, I always said that the refrigerator was loud. Everyday, especially at night when things are quieter, I hear an intermittent popping sound. It is 1:00 AM in the morning, and I just read several reviews on this site. When I woke up yesterday morning, the refrigerator, as well as, my food, were warm. I thought, how in the world can a 2-year-old refrigerator stop working. Granted, that I only paid around 500 plus dollars, I felt I was buying a reliable product since it was a sub-brand of Frigidaire which was the name of my washer/dryer set that I had for 13 years without any problems. At this very moment, the refrigerator is making a very loud humming sound. Earlier I had to transfer food to my deep freezer. I am not happy. I decided to find out if there were any complaints on this product (hindsight) to determine what my next step would be. Well, I have decided to purchase another refrigerator (a well known name brand) and not even bother with a repair service due to the numerous complaints I have read. I refuse to take out the time to experience repeated repairs! Sales representatives will say anything to get you to buy a product. If I have learned anything, it is to research before hand when purchasing sub-brand appliances, regardless of the manufacturer. I will not own another ELECTROLUX product EVER!

It was absolutely horrible. I will never buy another Electrolux product and I will never recommend or suggest them to a client to buy their product. I purchased a French door Electrolux fridge at the hefty price of $3,700. The ice maker never worked and after numerous visits and parts ordering over the next 2 months, it was discovered that the inside was dented to the point that the electronic parts that had failed could not be replaced. The appliance company replaced it with a new Electrolux. Four months later, the ice maker stopped producing ice and water started leaking onto the floor from the water dispenser. Two months later, after 4 visits by the appliance company service department, a gasket left of the fridge seemed to be the culprit.I ordered that rubber gasket and 3 weeks later, it showed up. The appliance company came out to replace it but its the wrong gasket. That was 4 weeks ago. I just got a call from them and the correct replacement gasket will be delivered within 5 days. Now, we are going on more than 4 weeks to get that rubber gasket and who knows if its the right one. Thats almost 2 months total waiting for the correct gasket! We recently purchased an Electrolux Oven. The unit came highly recommend on several sites online. The unit arrived with damage, including a defective control panel. Electrolux was initially very friendly and professed a desire to do whatever was needed to fix the unit. In the end, they admitted that they had no parts for the oven and would have to manufacture some. It would take at least a month. They then discussed replacing the oven, but decided it needed to be repaired at least once. Of course there were no parts to repair it. In the end, they did nothing. So we bought another oven. We bought an Electrolux gas stove less than 3 years ago. In less than two years, the enamel on the inside of the oven was flaking off where the racks go. These racks are on gliders so if you are cleaning the oven, its pretty much the only time the whole rack gets moved in and out. In other words, the rack stays in place but the shelf itself can glide in and out to remove food. I noticed 3 spots chipped off about 8 months ago after I cleaned the oven and was putting the racks back in. I wrote to Electrolux and sent pictures to them. They sent me back an email saying they had a technician look at the pictures and he determined this was normal wear and tear. So I sent them a reply stating that my last two stoves were over 20 years old, the racks were in and out of those stoves many times and all the enamel was still in place when I got rid of the stoves. This was a manufacturer defect and I would like this fixed. The liaison from the CEO then called me and told me the same thing that their reply email stated and again I told her about my last two stoves never having this problem. She then offered me 60% rebate to buy another Electrolux stove because they cant replace the inside of the stove. I told her, No, I want all my money back so I can go and buy a stove that will last. I had read online many people were dissatisfied with their stoves for the very same reason I was complaining. Also the front right burner doesnt light right away, another complaint from others. When it finally decides to light you get a loud fffumm and a huge flame shoots out of the burner. Now, the other day I cleaned my stove and the next morning I opened the oven to wipe the ash out and in the bottom of the oven the ash was rust colored. I thought that was weird but figured it was the grease that had spilled over before I cleaned it, but once I started wiping it out, I noticed the bottom of the oven is actually rusted and pitted all over. This is not normal. As I see it, the enamel is breaking off when the oven is cleaned. The front of the stove where the knobs for the burners, where it tells which burner is for each knob is all worn off. This is a very expensive appliance with shoddy workmanship! Now Electrolux is telling me they will give me 50% back to buy another one of their stoves. I would never spend that kind of money, and this was the most expensive stove in any of the places we looked. I thought I was paying for a good brand, a long time name in the appliance business and would stand by their product. I will never purchase another Electrolux product again.

This convection / microwave was delivered 1 month ago. It is replacing a Samsung Over-The-Range convection / microwave. The Samsung was ridiculously noisy, had a weak vent fan, poor lighting, and very dim display but overall it did work pretty good. After 4 years of service it got donated to Habitat For Humanity (thanks for the tax write off). NOW I have the Electrolux convection / microwave. It was difficult to install. The holes and brackets from my previous microwave aren't in the same location. I understand that these are different brands but I've hung different microwave brands in the same location before and the mounts where pretty universal - not this time. The LED display on this device is just as dim as the one on my previous device. I guess NOBODY can create a display that's easily visible from more than 7 feet away. Now here's where the Electrolux sets itself apart,,, it looks great, the lights are bright, and the vent fan actually works really well. The interior is all stainless steel with this cool diamond pattern. It looks really nice. When using the convection oven,,, the temperatures are accurate and it bakes to perfection. It is noisy too but nowhere near as screechy and obnoxious as the Samsung. It's just the nature of convection / microwaves to be a little loud. If anyone finds a quite one please let me know. As for the buttons,,, there ARE NO buttons. It's a flat touch panel just like your smart phone. Pushing hard on a number doesn't make it work. You have to gently apply a full fingerprint over the button to get it to work and you cannot be in a hurry. It takes a little getting used to but it's really not that big a deal. This is an expensive device but it was worth it.

All my Electrolux appliances broke down. The dryer quit and had to replace the motherboard. The microwave broke and replaced it with another over the range microwave and the handle broke within few months. Then last week my Electrolux dishwasher caught fire. It was the motor that caught fire and spread to the insulation. The fire department came and put out the fire and whole house was damaged with smoke. Insurance is handling the claim and I had to pay the $1000 deductible and the dishwasher is not covered by the insurance. It was a loss close to 10 grand. Electrolux wasnt even ready to pay someone to come and do an inspection and I had to pay an authorized repairman to come and submit the report to Electrolux. He is coming tomorrow to do the inspection. I am really frustrated with Electrolux appliances and their accountability.

We have a defective Electrolux refrigerator. According to the repairman, our ice maker was not insulated sufficiently from the back panel of the refrigerator. It has caused condensate to form on the back of the appliance. We discovered a large (about 6 in diameter) rust spot there with a trailing one of about 18 or so. There is condensate on the back that drips continually and the metal is actually flaking off. We have no idea how long this has been going on. We only discovered it because of a kitchen remodel. Meanwhile, it has been dripping down to a wood floor. We could be dealing with mold inside the back panel or eventually on the back of the refrigerator and wall (which I am highly allergic to). We have contacted Electrolux and all that was offered was us contacting another repairman (at our expense). They are not honoring their warranty. I also have an Electrolux stove. Im not feeling very good about it now! These appliances are expensive. I will never buy another Electrolux or Frigidaire product.

I spent a total of $240 in contract and renewal for Frigidaire in the last four years and its microwave parts are not available. Electrolux said that they will replace the $250 microwave unit, but I have to pay $200 to have the new unit installed. They said that the installation of replacement unit is not specifically mentioned in the contract so its not covered. The contract says parts and labor are covered and it doesnt mention re-installation. I will go to Sears and buy a new unit and installation for $470 to replace the existing unit. Electrolux contract did not protect me or make me whole. Its a rip off.

I purchased a top of the line French Door refrigerator 7 years ago and have had a number of issues. Bad seals, broken parts, ice maker freezing up and now I am told the fridge will fail soon due to the internal thermal parts. Apparently I have a model that had a KNOWN PROBLEM on these models and similar Frigidaire models from 2011 to 2017!!!! Yes ELECTROLUX KNEW, BUT DID THEY DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT, seems to be a NO. They supposedly did some sort of recall but NOTHING I EVER RECEIVED. It is NOT COVERED ON YOUR HOME INSURANCE WARRANTY, in fact they tell you to CALL ELECTROLUX. So I did and I was on HOLD for 65 minutes, no mention of any sort of call back which many companies now do. I Guess ELECTROLUX WANTS TO MAXIMISE PROFITS!!!!The lady I spoke to KNEW about this issue (Just as the TECHNICIAN that came out KNEW about this issue). She ended up giving me the number for the CORPORATE OFFICE to speak to a SHELBY so I called. Guess what? Its just a number for Electrolux, no Shelby. This is a $2400 refrigerator, it is a piece of junk and Electrolux seems to be worthless. I have one of their freezers too and guess what? It has had PROBLEMS, so ELECTROLUX YOU APPEAR TO SELL CHEAP PRODUCTS AND DONT STAND BY YOUR PRODUCTS.

Almost from the beginning this refrigerator has had problems. The ice maker continues to be non functioning as well as the interior lights. Customer Service is good at one thing saying Im sorry. I have put more money into this appliance than any other I have purchased over the past 30+ years. I purchased a new switch hoping that would resolve the lights not working, however it looks as though the board is defective. In order to fix the ice maker and the circuit board, we are looking at approximately 1500.00.At this point, I am better off to purchase another refrigerator, obviously not this brand. You spend more money on quality products and this has been one time where this wasnt the case. If you look at all the reviews, Electrolux obviously needs to go back to the drawing board because consumers arent happy and the issues seem to be the same i.e. ice maker. This refrigerator is only about 6 years old and when you spend 3500 you expect it be in good working condition for many years to come.

I purchased the Electrolux EBP163 refrigerator but it sounds on auto-cutoff
I purchased the Electrolux EBP163 refrigerator but it sounds on auto-cutoff. The problem was there from the first day itself. When I complained to the customer care they somehow replaced it with a new one but again the replaced unit is having the same problem. Now no one is listening to the complaint and the customer care people keeps cancelling the complaint given. Also an engineer contacted me and told to live with it as the sound is common & universal for all models. I suggest do not buy any Electrolux product. BAD ELECTROLUX.
