Is this really okay? (Installers said yes so maybe I’m overthinking)
Posted On: July 11, 2023

Just had my new LG washer and dryer arrive and installed by the deliverers from Home Depot; in the space that they are in they have to be pushed this far back so that they aren't blocking a door.

These being the first appliances I've owned, I asked one of the guys if he was sure that this tube being that bent was alright or if it should be a concern and he said it was fine, just to clear the lint trap regularly.

Am I worrying too much or should I pull the machines back out and try to shorten up the pipe in the wall so it has more space and doesn't seem as kinked?

Question from user Adventurous-Quail-29 at Appliances at reddit.

Answer:

Thats false.

They make a piece that is L shaped for this very reason.

I'm not sure if they sell it at the box stores, they have them at the appliance parts store.
