We did some research on the appliances before we had our house built. There were Viking appliances at the stores then I ordered and read their book. I thought the quality was good. My granddaughters school had Viking appliances. I talked with the people that run the facility there and asked them what they thought of the Viking and how it worked. They convinced me that it was definitely worth it.All of my kitchen appliances are Viking and I wanted to register for all of the warranties. I went to the Viking website and it would not allow me to do that. Then I was having an issue with the dishwasher, and I couldn’t find in the book to correct it. I ended up having to call the repair personnel to get out of the mode as it went into an error code. I had to schedule an appointment and then it took a couple of weeks for them to get here. I also asked the gentleman to help me register the appliances for warranty and he did that. I gave him the information and he was very helpful. For the money that I spent on this kitchen, I expected a concierge service. But Im pretty much pleased with it. Its pretty good and right now, it seems to fit my needs. I like the way the doors are softly closed in the refrigerator. Its good and its a little larger than the standard size. I also like the ice dispenser. I would like the water dispenser but then that would be an additional cost. Overall, Im well satisfied and I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

I like the price of the Viking Ranges and also the access to obtaining the part so I got one from them. I bought my oven from a store in Chicago that sells Viking appliances, and the service that I got was excellent. Everything looks great and whatever was advertised for the type of oven we bought was exactly what we got and if not more, so its been very pleasant so far.

We were very excited to purchase multiple kitchen appliances from Viking. In the 14 months Ive owned them, I have had to have the stove serviced 5 times, including visits where the tech didnt even bring the correct parts for our model. Repair companies they use are terrible at responding, scheduling appointments and servicing the products. I STILL havent had the stove fixed after multiple calls with Viking. With these issues, I wouldnt recommend anyone purchases the product if you want a fictional stove.

I bought a Viking range because of the way its made and its performance. It’s the second one that I bought. I sold my other home and the new buyers wanted that range. There was nothing else on the market I would look at. I would buy it again. There isnt anything I dislike about the range. It does a beautiful job. The design is beautiful too. I love the style and what it does. Everything is great on the stove. I wish I had a proofing feature though because I bake a lot.

When my range came there were some scratches on it and we’re having issues on getting a new one out. They keep saying they’re gonna order in the part, which they do. But then the part looks worse than the range when it was delivered. I wish they could package it differently, so that when it comes it’s better off. I tried calling Viking’s 1-800 number but they weren’t very helpful with it. The only person that’s helpful is the appliance guy that comes in and he’s been ordering the parts.

I had a Viking Refrigerator in my last house and I liked it. it’s great! The only thing is at my old house, the drain at the bottom plugged real easy but you can’t really move it in and out because it’s built in, so that was a little bit of a drawback. It’s expensive to get that repaired when it plugs so I finally learned how to do it myself. I put towels all over the place but it freezes up. I got a good deal on floor model for my new house. I got the whole suite of products. Its one of the nicest fridges Ive ever had and Im really happy with it.

We had a built-in grill when we moved into the house about 40 years ago. We then replaced that and got a 24-inch Viking grill. When we decided to get a new stove, we wanted to match it up. Previously we had an electric stove. We checked other things like BlueStar, but we liked the looks and the style of Viking so we selected it. Its great and the heat of the range is so much even and it works so much better. The temperature control is really nice and I like the one pullout rack which is really convenient. The product is also easy to clean. I lift up the racks on top of this each day and I can dust underneath there. You can take the ceramic tops or the steel tops off the burners as well. It’s really nice and so much better than electric. It also looks like a million bucks and will never go out of style. It always looks like a professional item and is classy looking too. Its the best there is. The installers did an excellent job and we had all the trim pieces. We inquired about getting a broiler from them but Viking doesnt make them anymore. I’m going to have to have some Viking products when we move. I was in the Fire Department before I retired and all the fire stations had Viking grills and gas stoves. There were about 8-burner stoves and that’s where I first saw them. They always worked well. I am thankful for Vikings good products and am appreciative of them. I’d highly recommend Viking.

We wanted to have a nice Viking refrigerator as we thought it would be better than its competitors. I like the idea that when you open the door, it has the temperature and all of those little controls. The first thing we didn’t like about it was that it didn’t have a water dispenser on the inside or the outside but that hasn’t proven to be a big problem. Another issue is that when the ice falls into the bin, it’s pretty loud. My wife has more issues with it. One time there was some kind of leak and all the ice melted together. We had a nice relationship with the dealer except that when we got the refrigerator and found out there was no water dispenser, we called them and he never called us back. After a while, we just got used to it and I was disappointed in that. He was a good friend when we were buying from him but after we bought it, he didn’t wanna be bothered. But overall, we’re happy with the refrigerator and we don’t have any big deals about it.

My husband wanted to go with Viking. When we were at a store, they were trying to persuade us not to. They kept telling us that the Viking refrigerator tend to fail quite often and a lot of their customers actually had problems with it once it goes out of warranty, and so they have to pay out of pocket to get it fixed. So, we were persuaded not to get it but my husband was determined to get it because we bought extended warranty. We like our refrigerator. We dont have any problems with it overall. We have the one side freezer, and one side fridge. We like it. Its big. I like the icemaker. Its convenient because its so wide. I wish theres more space, but overall, it functions fine. So far, were satisfied.

We have had a Viking french door refrigerator installed since November 2016. First the ice in the freezer spills out behind the drawers not allowing the freezer door to always close completely, or the ice spills out over our wood floor when we open the door. We have had frozen food ruined and continuously have to dig behind the drawers and remove ice. Then ice began forming in the regular refrigerator drawers. A repairman has been out twice and says he is awaiting parts. Why he did not identify the need for the parts the first time he was out, I dont know. The refrigerator is a lemon and should be replaced. It has not run correctly since we bought it. Photo of serial number attached.

I like the range and the dishwasher seems to work well. But the refrigerator was kind of a disappointment. Weve had repairmen out four times in the last couple of months. I thought maybe they finally fixed it, but it’s still not quite right. We built the whole kitchen around it. If anybody asked me right now, I would say I wouldnt go with Viking.

Our freezer arrived and then we had to wait a long time for the refrigerator. Then when we finally were getting it installed, it turned out that the freezer wasnt working. It didnt have coolant in it. So we had a couple of people come out to fix it. Weve also ordered parts for the new freezer but were still determining whether we want to put them in or not because it seems to be working now. Other than that, its a great refrigerator and the quality is good. I like the dispenser of water inside the refrigerator and it looks good.

10 years ago we bought a 42 inch side by side frig. Service and repair began regular visits from day three and it has been a terrible experience. There are too many issues to list here, but if any one cared I would be glad to share the rap sheet. The original dealer was Sewell Appliance in Sandy Springs, GA and the service company was Hadco. One of the frustrating issues was that many of the diagnosis discussions did not make sense. Cause and effect, symptoms and solutions, etc. are not always rocket science. Many ill-fated service calls have been endured. Once again, details available upon request. We have lost contents several times and constantly put up with. High temps, iced up element, overflowing drain pan, on and on - we now have a small back up fridge plus TWO $160 freezers to rely on. I have no confidence in the Viking fridge. Im surprised they are still made. I curse the day we saved $700 by not buying a Subzero. What do I want? I would like to have a qualified Viking rep look at my service records and admit that this is not normal. In the meantime, I would never have a Viking product and am seeking ways to publicize my opinion until Viking would step in for some sort of acknowledgement.

The first two years with the Viking refrigerator was a nightmare. They came out 10 times. First, it was the wheels. Then it was the compressor. Then it was the coils. Something happened when it was put in. The people were inexperienced or they manhandled it. We told them to give us a new one and quit repairing it. It went back to Ferguson and they got us a new one. The install went better but the second refrigerator had a problem with the cooling fan. It was noisy from the second they plugged it in. Eventually, we got someone out. There were four or five different trips to repair this second one and sure enough, it was the fan. After two years, two refrigerators and 15 visits, the Viking refrigerator is working like it should. Its a nice refrigerator, but we went through a lot of troubles. Between two refrigerators and the repair, every time they repair it, you gotta take all the food out and I probably got scuffs on the floor. We wont get Viking again. We paid four or five times as much purely because Viking has such a good reputation but the worst thing about our house was this refrigerator. It got so bad that we called the attorney general of Minnesota who stepped in on the case. Viking’s been very polite when we call them up. The problem is there are different groups to work with - my contractor, Vikings, Ferguson, the person who installs it and a different person who repairs it.

We were in the middle of a remodel and after getting feedback from friends who have a Viking range, we ordered and paid for a unit in November of last year. They took the order in and had it delivered in March, but we had a little trouble with the people we bought it from because they sent us a propane range and they had to reorder a natural gas model. Other than that, once I was able to use the range, I love it. I like its performance, look and durability. It works great and the temperature is on point.

I was searching for a replacement for another refrigerator and I know Viking had some quality about it. My wife liked it too when we were in the store. The team at the Viking dealer was helpful and cooperative. Everything went down smoothly. This ref is our first French door and I will have to get used to bending over to get into the freezer, but I like all of its features. Im satisfied so far with the quality and it hasnt broken down yet in todays world. Id recommend it.

Im in the culinary industry and I always knew that I wanted a more professional series. I knew Viking was a good way to go because they have a great reputation. I like my Viking range and Ive been happy with it. It has a better coverage on the burners which I love. They burn higher more than the average range. My water boils faster and food cooks faster. We had a few bumps in the beginning but Im okay now. I also had a good experience with their dealer. They were professional and had good knowledge of the products. When I had issues, they were pretty very responsive and directed me to the right places.

I purchased a Viking package, should of looked into the dishwasher before I made them replace my first dishwasher after it broke 7 days of using it. It caused so much damage to my custom kitchen. Now that its leaking again, it caused more damage to the kitchen cabinets that I might have to remove the granite counter top and sink! The damage is probably 3x the amount of a viking dishwasher. Its been over a month of waiting to be fixed and still it hasnt been fixed

A friend of ours purchased a range from Viking, and I heard a testimony of the people who told us about them so I went with them. The sales rep was good, but I didnt love the delivery team. The subcontract company from the store was a little bit on the unprofessional side and basically didnt have a rate plan for installation. They just winged it, quoted me a price and we had to do the whole Tijuana dealing. Then, they ended up not doing some good finish work on installation of the hood. They did a partial job. However, they didnt damage anything.

We chose Viking over Sub-Zero and Thermador because of the look. We bought a pretty cool one. It’s a cobalt blue color and the fridge is fine overall. But the ice maker didn’t work originally. It took somebody to finally come out and fix it. There was an issue with the light in the freezer too. It went off for no reason and then it came back on for no reason. But the dishwasher was really upsetting. It came with the fridge as a free giveaway but it didn’t work. I called Viking and complained about it. But two of the people that they had wouldn’t come out for over three weeks. After calling again, we were able to get somebody to come out relatively soon, within a week. They looked at all the units that needed fixing but they wouldn’t replace the dishwasher. They really didn’t stand by it. They said everything was working according to how it was supposed to be. But when we opened up the dishwasher, the dishes were soaking wet and cold. It never ran the detergent either. When you open up the dishwasher after full cycle, the detergent would still be physically in the door. If thats how it was meant to be, then that’s stupid. Why did they even make it? At the end of the day, we had to buy another brand even though it came for free. To get a decent dishwasher was another 900 bucks plus I had to go through the whole rigmarole of getting one.We bought a stovetop from them too but I had to buy a separate propane conversion kit. For the price that you pay, the little orifices that you attach to change the way the fuel comes in should just come with the unit. You shouldn’t have to go and buy a separate kit. It wasn’t terribly expensive but it was silly for them not to give that with the brand-new unit. It was a little confusing too. I got a plumber to come out but they couldn’t get it to work. I had to get a Viking technician to come out.

We like the look of the Viking professional series, but there are some reliability issues. We’ve had two service calls in just over a year which made me a little concerned. The first service call happened when the unit didn’t have a fan, so it was overheating, and the thermostat kept cutting off and shutting down the stove oven. Then the second time was when the control panel that drove the gas valve for the main oven and the igniter for the broiler both acted up. We were unable to use the main oven for about three weeks. They had to get some parts, then came back, and fixed the issues.

We were at Best Buy looking at a different refrigerator brand and there was a wonderful Viking refrigerator on sale there because it was being discontinued. We ended up buying it and it’s been an outstanding product. I like that it’s huge compared to any that I’ve had in the past. I don’t currently have the Viking range but I had one in Chicago, and that is another reason why we looked at Viking. However, I’ve had some problems with the ice-maker so we had some service going recently. Customer service had to order some parts for me so it’s not fixed yet. But overall it’s a wonderful product if you’re able to afford it.

I like the design, quality, size and features of Viking. The delivery of the refrigerator went well. I had it delivered in March, and been using it fine. But it wasnt until about three weeks ago, I had some renovating and remodeling. I had the plumbers come out and they connected the water line to the fridge so it can make ice. They hooked it up and I left for work, came back and only about 10 pieces of ice were made. So, I called up the place that I bought it from and they sent out a technician today but they couldnt figure it out. The technician was like, Oh, you need to send this in to Viking. This is a 700-pound unit. I spoke with them and they said that they will come out again to get this figured out. So, Im not very happy with the fridge at the moment. I also had ordered a Viking hood, a Viking stove, a dishwasher and a microwave. The microwave is fine so far. The range and dishwasher, I had ordered back in May, still havent received them.

When I moved into my house, it had a Viking six-burner cooktop which I thought was very well-done. It was enamel, not stainless steel, but was much sturdier than what I have now. I was impressed with it but its been there a while so I wanted to replace that. We redid our kitchen about five years ago and thought I would use Viking products. Thats how I started looking at the other matching pieces. I do a lot of cooking but the quality of what I purchased is not the same with what I had before. In hindsight, I wish I had just kept the Viking cooktop and had gotten double-oven in its place from somebody else. The stainless steel on the cooktop scratches. Ive already had to replace the grates once. Then the temperature on the double oven wasnt getting correct because the hinges were not strong enough. They had to be replaced to the tune of $400. Even after that was done, I still had to have a repairman come again to calibrate it correctly.Aside from the cooktop, we bought a Viking refrigerator whihc we picked in particular because we have space constraints and it worked well. The only thing I like in the new configuration of the model I have is that theres extra shelf at the top. Its very small but Im a baker so I put my pieces right in there to cool in the freezer. But the quality is horrible. Ive had several other refrigerators with which Ive been far more impressed with. The plastic inside is poorly designed in that the butter dish slides open when the door opens. Now, theyve changed it and within days it dented my initial fridge. I also had to replace an internal part as one of the drawers cracked. My first fridge had an ice maker problem and then the compressor went.I went through many months of badgering Viking to replace this thing. The Viking team members have been respectful but not timely. If I hadnt been a diligent pain in the neck, nothing wouldve happened. I had to keep contacting them before they had somebody come. When they contacted a person and I never heard anything, I contacted Viking again and finally got an email that she had left the company. But there was no follow-up.I finally got a new fridge and the people that Viking contracted with to come out were very helpful. When they came out, I spoke to Sally from Viking and wanted to verify that the trim kit will fit in the unit because I spent nearly $1,000 for the kit to make this thing look built-in. Sure enough, the contractors who came forgot the kit. So they came back again with it and only was able to put it in on one side. I then had to call a carpenter and pay out-of-pocket to have it replaced. I then called Viking again who ultimately recouped that fee for me and made me whole. But then again, the ice maker doesnt work in this new refrigerator. The repairman that Viking contracted with from Dillon Appliance came out this week and said that it doesnt function. So Im very disappointed. For the amount of money and time Ive spent on this, its crazy. I shouldnt have to have a part-time job tracking down Viking. They should do what theyre supposed to do. First of all, they should produce a good product. And second of all, Ive dealt with all these different people to have these things repaired and still have a refrigerator that doesnt have a working ice maker and this is my second fridge. And I was out of a fridge for five weeks. It was a long time and I have four kids. I have a backup fridge in the garage but its small. Nobody at Viking really seemed to be worried about this or really apologetic that their products shouldnt break and theyre very sorry that my compressor completely went under five years.I would never buy another Viking product. Its not worth the money, especially the refrigeration. Its like any other refrigerator and they slapped the Viking logo on it. Thats actually what the guy at Dillons told me. Theres nothing exceptional about it. Then Ive been somewhat pleased with the double oven except I had another double oven for years and never had to replace the hinges. Four and a half years in, Im already replacing hinges which is not exactly what I wanted to do. But I needed to retain the heat. Its a very disappointing experience. The product is by no means worth the amount of money I spent on it. The value isnt there.

We built a new home 14 months ago and had Viking appliances put in it. But my Viking range has been broken for 12 of those 14 months. The repair guy would fix one thing and then something else would go bad or he would uncover something else that was already bad. They were out four times before somebody said, We dont ever do this, but we need to replace the range. So, I ended up getting an entirely new range. But theres not been one day that it hasnt been broken and a ticket was open. Also, if I make a call, it takes at least three weeks to get a response and somebody to work on it. At one point, I waited six weeks to get somebody to come. Thats not acceptable. Also, they are are saying, This part is stuck at.... I am so tired of all these ships because of COVID that are stuck in some foreign space station somewhere that nobody knows exists. But the product has been good once they give me the one thats working. I would buy Viking again because of the product. It was the follow-up that I have a problem with. A high-end company did a very big disservice to a good product because of how they acted post-failure.

I purchased my Viking refrigerator along with my Viking stove and dishwasher with my new townhome in 2003. I had to have service within the first year for my Viking refrigerator and then again. I guess the freezer had shut down and water had been on the bottom of the freezer, then froze and had to try and scrap it off. I called the repair and he supposedly fixed it, but then it became rusted. I had other problems which I won’t get into. The list goes on, but now for the last year (8th year) there is a cooling problem and the alarm goes off constantly. Had the repair guy out here and so he said what I may need, which will now cost me $1000 but he is not sure that will fix the problem. My neighbor has put thousands dollars into theirs and now it is not even repairable.Of course I have called Viking several times and they do nothing for me. My repair man came out again and told me what they were offering 1/2 off a new Viking, but who can afford another $3600 plus tax when the first one was expensive enough? I don’t seem to have a choice because I don’t know if I can fit anything else in my built in and match, etc. Something should be done about Viking. Pay up. That’s all I have to say. I need a new refrigerator and they should pay for it. Let’s do something. They are getting away with it!

We liked the look of Viking and their reputation as well so we went with them. Were not so thrilled with the double wall oven but the refrigerator is awesome. The quality is excellent and this is probably the best refrigerator weve ever owned. Its so easy to navigate in there. You can see and reach everything. But the ice maker could be improved. The bin that the ice goes into should be raised in the back so that the ice falls to the front. Im always winding up with ice all over the floor and on the inside of the freezer because it builds up then theres no way to open the freezer without the ice falling over like a deck of cards. Other than that, weve had a fairly good experience so far.

I am a builder in the Vail/Beaver Creek area in Colorado. One of the most expensive real estate markets in the country. Over the years Ive used many Viking products. In June my Viking ovens electrical control panel failed. The service rep contacted Viking and was told what part to order which turned out to be a metal cover, not the electrical panel. The electrical panel had to be special ordered and cost over $1200. When it arrived it didnt work and the rep was told to order another. We have had no oven for over 4 months. When I talked to the kitchen design company where we purchased $ millions of appliances and cabinets they told us they no longer carry Viking because of poor service and reliability.

We ran into the Viking Refrigerator and it was on sale. Plus, we liked it and it was counter depth, which was what we were looking for. Its quality is good. I like that it’s tall enough so that you can place the wine bottles right on the door where you can move the shelves. And I like the compartment for the wine bottles too. However, you cannot open one of the drawers without opening up both doors. We thought we needed some repairs a while back. When we came back, it wouldn’t make any ice. We replaced the filter and it seemed to work, but it has been taking too long to make ice.

We had a Viking stove and my husband said he wanted them all the same, so we got a Viking refrigerator. The people at the dealership were awesome. We bought two dishwashers at the same time and the rep was really great. We just went back and bought our range from them. The refrigeration is good. Im not crazy about the drawer layout but it was the only one they had. The drawers aren’t deep enough for the vegetables and the fruits. They don’t have a lot of bottles to choose from. Also, they should have a water dispenser. Theyre not practically designed. But I don’t have to clean the coils and when you have four cats, it makes a difference that you don’t have to vacuum all those cat hair.

I spent over $20,000.00 on a complete Viking appliance replacement for 15-year-old Whirlpool Gold appliances. Most expensive mistake I ever made. The dishwasher does not dry the dishes at all and the inside of the dishwasher is always wet after a cycle. The refrigerator is very noisy and the condenser fan is louder than a jet engine when running on full. Freezer items have frost on them and I can only hope it does not break down in the near future. The convection microwave does not even pop popcorn correctly (or at all) unless bag is placed on a bowl turned upside down? Convection cooktop seems to be working okay as does the oven thus far. I have had several repair calls on the refrigerator with no repairs. One repair person indicated it was supposed to be loud. Do yourself a favor and buy Kenmore Elite or something else besides Viking for 1/3 the cost and 100 times better quality. I want my Whirlpool Gold back (as well as my $20,000.00). Viking needs to wake up before they go out of business. Is there a lemon law for appliances. These are all appliance purchased in late 2013 and I am already looking to replace them all.

I had a Jenn-Air range but I didn’t like the way it cooked on the gas. A couple of my cousins and family members have Viking ranges and I also researched on them. I liked the reputation that I read about them and bought a few things - a range, a washer and dryer, and a refrigerator. The Viking range is much better. It cooks much faster. It’s of good quality but the only thing I’m having a problem with is the grates in the oven. I can’t get it in and out easily. It sticks. Also, they didn’t explain clearly that I bought the non-self-clean oven. They didn’t go through everything for me. They didn’t tell me the ins and the outs of each of the ranges. If I could exchange this, I would get the other one.

When we had a problem, it was taken cared of and weve always been satisfied. We had a little bad luck with the refrigerator because at first it had a dent in the door so it was returned. The ice maker, light, freezer, and the fan continue running on the second one so that was returned again. Weve got our third one since June the 26th and its now working great.

The house that my wife and I bought in 2016 has Viking appliances in the kitchen. The refrigerator was a 2012 model that was installed and purchased in 2013, so we were a little disappointed that it released all the Freon and was unrepairable by 2021. Were disappointed that though the Viking Refrigerator that we had to get fit in the space for the one that we had without having to redo cabinets, it no longer has a water dispenser in the door. That was a big letdown. We also had to replace the door seal on a dishwasher and Viking had stopped making replacement parts for it. We ended up replacing the entire dishwasher. The repair service is a real pain in Connecticut because theres only one authorized company. To get them out to actually look at our refrigerator, even on an emergency basis, was a matter of weeks.

I went back several times to look before I actually made a decision because I was also looking at Wolf and one other brand. Still, she was very helpful and not high pressure. I like my Viking range very well. Its very sturdy and I like the way the range top works. The oven bakes and roasts very evenly, too. The stove that I had was terrible and compared to that, I love the burners of my Viking range. They boil water for pasta real quickly and I can simmer things nicely. The Viking range has all the features I wanted and a good reputation for being a quality product. It lasts a long time with not a lot of maintenance issues. We wanted a blue range to match our blue kitchen, so we got a custom one. The first one that we received was a disaster. It never worked from the minute we got it. The spring on the door was damaged so the oven never shut properly. Every time it got up to a high temperature, it would drop suddenly down and just remain there. Every day, they sent a bunch of people out to look at it and the whole process was annoying. After a lot of complaining, they finally replaced it. But even if they could have fixed it, I still wouldn’t have wanted it. Why would I want a defective stove that didn’t work from the second it was installed? It was definitely not an easy process. They were blaming the distributor and each step that we had to go through was very frustrating to deal with. The brand new range doesn’t bake well at all. My wife tries every day to bake in it but it burns. We got the dual range with the gas top and convection electric oven. The gas range itself is great, but the actual oven is not very accurate in terms of temperature. The way it cooks food is very inconsistent and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone who wants to do a lot of baking. I would like to take an actual temperature reading on it because it seems to cook hot. Im overall disappointed with this product.

We were doing a high-end kitchen renovation and there were only a few brands that were built in and have the look and were a 30-inch refrigerator column. We’ve dealt with a small appliance shop in the past that our contractor recommended. Its a family-owned business so we were quite comfortable there and got great information. They treated us well at that store and we had experience with them previously on another renovation. I wanted to buy the Viking refrigerator because it has the technology to help remove odors where the Thermador we were looking at did not. And it holds everything I needed to hold. But we’ve had a second service call for the refrigerator, so were a little uneasy right now.Theres been water leaking into the bottom of the refrigerator, so the tech came out about a month or two ago, and he found something that was wrong and fixed it. And then, they were out again today because it didnt stop leaking water. It was coming in from a different place now, so were waiting on Viking technical services to respond back to us and the appliance repair guys.Getting service is easy. We havent had to wait very long to get appointments when we’ve called. We had vacation in the middle, so we had to wait a little to get the second call put in. But theyve been good on customer service. When I called Viking customer service, it was really good. I emailed them because I was too busy to call and it took several days for them to get back. But then, they dispatched the repair people pretty quickly. The local repair service that is authorized is good so far. They even came into the newly renovated kitchen and looked around at all of the appliances and told us they could work on all of it. Theyve been pleasant and quick to show up, and easy to schedule.

My Viking is about a year old, and within this first year, Ive had to replace an igniter for the griddle on the top and the bulbs for all the lights in the front. Ive found that the preheating cycle on these ovens is extraordinarily long compared to most other ovens. I dont like the feature that while its preheating, you cant put anything in because it will just scald it. There are some ovens that even during the preheating cycle, you can start heating up something or put your food in there. I do all my baking in my $500 gas oven because I just turn it on and I stick my stuff in. But I dont even use the oven of the Viking because it takes about 20 minutes just to preheat. I cant put anything in until the light turns off and its ready. Also, the ceramic paint on the top of my stove has already started to chip off so Ive had to put touch-up paint on it. I had a Dacor stovetop before this and I had it for 15 years, and the ceramic or painted metal part at the top never had any kind of scratching or damages. When I bought this Viking I thought, Wow, Ive got the top-of-the-line. I spent a lot of money. This is gonna be the best. But the burners have been very nice. I enjoy cooking on the gas burners.

We like the Viking range because of its style and how it fits with our cabinets. It was ultimately the better fit for what we were trying to get. I compared it to the Thermador and the Thermador had a smaller range for the same price. With the Viking, I can control the stove top of the gas burners, which is nice. It also fits into our kitchen wall. I use it every day and so far it has performed very well. However, weve had a couple of service issues with it. The first was the door did not close all the way. It was not aligned properly, so we couldnt get full closure. The other thing was the steel would pop when we turned the oven on. Weve already had service calls to come out for the range within the first 12 months. They were able to resolve the door issue, which apparently was a shipping thing. We still have the metal popping but we learned how to fix that. Also, customer service has been good. I had a lot of issues with the dealer, and by the time I got to Viking, the gentleman I spoke with was very compassionate and had a lot of empathy. He cheered me up and did everything he could to help in our situation.

It was flimsy and brittle after a few months of use. Brand specific replacement, $70 from our local appliance store. Fewer than 20 months later the control panel on top acted up. The appliance repair person said it would be at least 6 weeks to get a replacement part, if it was even available. It would cost, with installation, over $300. The stove has had several problems, the microwave/hood has problems. None of this was covered under any warranty. For a low end product the performance would be poor. We wanted a good range and Viking had a good reputation. However, it was not a good experience. We were not given full information about the internal cooling fan, which was not only loud, but it didn’t just cool down and then shut off. Through our entire dinner, we heard the fan going on and off. Another other issue was that the burners all fluttered and made noise. We had our propane company come out and check the pressure of our propane and everything was fine. But we couldn’t get it to simmer without it going out and we couldn’t get it on high, even the highest flame without it fluttering. It never worked properly. There was also an issue with the stove and that was very frustrating. But it got fixed. Then, I had a scratch on it which was right at the surface of the stainless steel ledge. Their person ended up telling me that it was a really common place and it was going to get scratched eventually. So I just told her to forget it, which stinks. But it is what it is and I couldnt wait any longer. I wasnt going to send the range back for a small scratch, but it still shouldnt have been there.Aside from that, Viking did not handle any issues with me. I had to go through the seller, which was frustrating because they just kept saying they were waiting. So because of COVID, it took a while, which I understand. But there was no follow-up whatsoever, so you felt it was a burden calling. Everybody was calling with the same stuff and they were mad about it. I have little children and I didnt have appliances for months. That was so hard and I will never do that again. I love the stove now. But there was so much trouble that I dont know that I would buy a Viking range again.

I was looking for refrigeration, and I was doing renovations. I went online. I had wanted to upgrade from what I currently had, which was the JennAir Professional Series. I wanted something on the Wolf or Viking line. I did not go with Wolf because I could not afford the Sub-Zero Refrigerator. So, I decided to go with Viking. I looked at the reviews. I had ordered it from an appliance shop. Then I went to Ferguson Showroom to see what it looked like because the appliance shop didnt have a display. The salesperson said, “You know what, Latrina, I wish you would have came to us first because our customers had so many problems with Viking. We had to take it off our floor as display items.” I said, “Well, frankly, I wont have these problems.” So, I got the product. But I couldnt have the contractors in because of COVID, so I had the products here for a while. So, they installed them, and now its about the eighth month. My microwave already went out. The refrigerator handles are not so nice. The guy who came and fixed the microwave also had to tighten up the handles. At the top of the refrigerator shelf, you can set it to different levels. We purchased this unit, Viking Refrigerator DDSB423SS, when we remodeled our kitchen in September of 2006 at a cost of $6,000! We also purchased the 5 year extended warranty. We have had ongoing issues with the unit, but most recently it has become unbearable. On Feb 17, 2012, the unit stopped cooling. Everything in the freezer melted. I contacted Carl Schaedel & Co, the authorized repair company in my area. They could not come to diagnose the problem until 11 days later, February 28th. When they came, I had to pay them $189 for the service call. I then received a call from the office indicating that it was a problem with the sealed system, and that the cost of parts and labor to repair the unit was covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, but my $189 fee was not returnable. Furthermore, the first available appointment to come to do the repair was three weeks later, March 19th! Mind you, both my husband and I work for a living, so in addition to not having a refrigerator, we have to take time off from work to deal with this. On March 19th, 2012, the service man came and replaced the mother board. The refrigerator appeared to be working after the mother board was installed. He told me to wait 24 hours before using, which we did. After 24 hours it seemed okay, it was making ice etc. So, I went grocery shopping and purchased $175 worth of fresh and frozen items, put them in the unit and 6 hours later, I opened the freezer and everything had melted. Furthermore, now there appears to be a broken gasket, which was not broken prior to the service call, so the door is not sealing properly when closed. On March 21, my husband called Carl Schaedel again. At this point, he was angry and frustrated so he gave the long list of issues over the years and then indicated that the March 19th repair did not fix the problem and he also mentioned the broken gasket. It took 8 days to get another service call. On March 28, a different repair person came to the house. He walked in to the house and within 30 seconds said that it’s not a problem with the mother board, it’s something else. But he did not have the part on the truck. He will have to order the part! He did however have the new gasket which he put on the door and then told my husband to pay him for that since its not covered under warranty! My husband made him put the broken gasket back on. Why on earth would we pay for a repair to a refrigerator we cant use anyway? So today is March 30. I have just gotten off the phone with Carl Schaedel customer service rep again, asking when the tech will come to do the repair. I was told that she does not have the report from the tech yet, that it usually takes 24 hours. Okay, well its been 36 hours. I am now waiting for her to call me back, to tell me when they will come and whether or not it is covered under the warranty! We have been without a fridge for 6 weeks now. We have two kids and have been living out of a cooler! Doing our best to shop for breakfast and lunch items that dont require refrigeration but dinners have been tough, so we have been eating out most nights which we cannot afford! We also have a Viking 6 burner range which also had problems and had to be repaired several times, but that is another long story and my major concern right now is the fridge, as the situation is really debilitating. We are, beside ourselves and after reading the numerous other complaints, it appears we are not alone. Is there nothing that can be done? I am sure the CEO of Viking is very well to do, at the expense of us consumers. I have seen references to a class action suit. I am willing to participate, will even take a leadership role in making it happen, but I have no idea how to go about this. Can anyone assist? Please?!

Viking Ranges has a good name and their product was what my wife wanted. The quality of the range that we bought from them is fine and we like its looks. Weve only had it for a month or so and we haven’t done a whole lot of cooking or baking on it, but we’re happy with it. The Viking range, though, is very expensive.

Ive known all my life that Viking is a good brand. They had a pretty convenient package at Pacific Sales and their people are very professional. We are renovating and so there was a refrigerator, washing machine, microwave and two other items that all had matching faces, so we decided to go with that. The pull out ice tray of the refrigerator is pretty cute. There are little hiccups with the fridge but its quality is good.

I like to cook a lot and I chose Viking because of their reputation for quality. It’s very well-made and its going to last a long time. I like the burners and the heftiness of them. The six burners and the full-sized oven were perfect for Thanksgiving dinner. The convection oven definitely cuts down on cooking time. Having the higher BTU burners cooks everything a lot faster. Things boil faster. The ability to maintain a simmer without having to constantly watch it is nice. The range looks professional. It’s almost like a statement piece in the kitchen. I’m super happy with the product. It’s better than other ovens I’ve had in the past. It cooks more evenly. I’ve had gas ovens before that didnt cook evenly and my Viking range cooks pretty well. It holds temperature well for a gas oven. Additionally, my experience with the dealer was excellent. They were knowledgeable about the product and it was easy to set up delivery.

Our experience with the range so far has been very nice. The only thing is that when were trying to light the burners, they dont ignite really quickly. The cleanup of ours is manual but we havent had issues doing it ourselves. The only downside is that theres no thermostat and you cant see what temperature the ovens at. Other than that, I recommend purchasing one. Just make them give you an oven thermometer. For what you pay for the stove, I would think they would give you one of those.

Im in the cabinet business, specifically for kitchen and bath cabinets. I have a showroom at a local appliance store and we did a working Viking kitchen. I convinced some of the contractors that I deal with and theyre using Viking appliances. Viking has quality-built products so the name speaks for itself. I live alone and I got a 36-inch Viking range. It was great making the purchase. I worked with not only the local dealer but also the Viking representative. Im still getting used to my range. I dont use it too much, but Ive tried all of its features and Im very happy with it. Its everything that I expected it to be. I tell my contractors that the quality, the price, and the name of the Viking products will help sell the properties that theyre building.

I build houses and I recommend Viking to all my customers. However, I didnt like the range that I got from them that I bought from Nebraska Furniture Mart. The handle on it broke and they sent out a service guy to fix it. I took a video with my phone of exactly what was wrong so there was no reason for them to come out without the part. However, the guy from Viking still came out without the part that he needed. Then, two months later, he came out with the part and fixed the unit. For three months, I had to go without my middle burner thermostat controller working, which was unacceptable for a $7,000 stove. Ive given you guys countless customers when I build homes. How am I going to be able to recommend Viking after the experience I just had?

Not the greatest service for a pretty pricey appliance. The grid was kind of hard to maintain. Overtime, the grill top did look discolored (supposed to be normal) but it kind of bothered us as we had an open kitchen concept. Otherwise, best gas stove we have had so far in-term of cooking/pots - the grill top in the center and 2 cooking grids on either side.

We wanted a built-in refrigerator and something that would be good quality. We were gonna go with Jenn-Air but we heard that the compressors on the Vikings were better. We were also looking at Sub-Zero but we heard that there was a lot of maintenance that needed to be done every year for their compressors. The people that we talked to said that Viking didn’t have that sort of maintenance requirement and we heard that Viking was really good. So, we went with them. We were also looking for something that was fairly wide and the one that we got from Viking was a pretty big unit. We have it for a while now and our experience has been good. Its quality is okay although some things get really frozen at the top of the refrigerator. There was also a squeak in the door, and people came out and fixed it. After that, we havent heard as much squeaking as before and the refrigerator has been doing all right.

We bought our Viking range when we built our house and wanted good range. So we purchased a 36 with a griddle and 4 burners. The problems started 3 months into the lift of the range with the oven igniters failing. The serviceman said these do wear out and this is common - not something you really want to hear this early in use. This happened a couple of more times under the warranty period and as soon as the warranty period ended, I have my first $300 service call to replace them. After 2 of those calls ($600), I started replacing myself with Viking parts, and soon switched to non OEM parts from Ebay that actually lasted longer. Spent some time on the Viking service/support line on the root cause and was told that I probably had dirty power, so I had a electrician check it out and reported all was fine. I have not mentioned that the burners also burned through and needed to be replaced twice in the course of this as well as well as the burner igniter that never stops sparking after the burner is lit. The hinges on the oven door have now broken and rather than spend a couple of hundred dollars on this, we have decided to finally invest in a new range. It is most disappointing when you spend nearly $6000 on a range, but when you have to put in $500/ year to keep in working properly, it is just ridiculous. So today, we have decided not to invest one more penny in the stove and go shopping for a new range. Sad to say, but the experience of the top notch Viking was a very bad experience. I long for the old gas range from our last house. The best part is that this is my first online review. As I was looking for new ranges, I just happened across this discussion and if I can prevent one other person from wasting their time/money on a Viking range, I have done a service. I wish someone had saved us.

Purchased 2 Viking ovens in 2012, stopped work properly in about 10 months. Called Viking for service, found out Viking only warranty is for 6 months. Had a repair person come out, he said the parts would be around $500.00 for each main control boards to fix the problem. Tried using only the convection functions to do most of baking for several years. I did this only because I did not want to spend an additional $1,000. on these damn ovens. Now, the convection is out, called back repair, when everything is completely fixed on both ovens, we are looking at $1,600.00. I think Viking is truly an awful brand, they do not stand behind their products and part are expensive. Buyer beware!

Ive been very familiar with Viking for many years but Im very unhappy with their service, and the service who I bought the Viking from. I knew it was a floor model at the showroom and they told me that it had been out there for less than a year and had never been used, and it was like new and would have the full warranty. But several pieces broke within 24 hours of me getting this $10,000 refrigerator. It keeps things cold but all of the door inserts, such as the shelves in the door, all were broken. When I called Viking, they said that this was a five-year old model. It had been sitting on the showroom for that long, which was never disclosed and they wont cover anything. It was a very disappointing experience and makes me want to avoid using Viking. It’s a nice refrigerator. Unfortunately, they are selling it through dealers that dont understand their process and theyre not standing behind it and not willing to stand up to their dealer. So, its not a company I would want to do business with again.

We remodeled our kitchen in May 2010 and installed a Viking professional 48-inch freestanding gas range. I rarely used the large oven since there are only two of us. On 11/15/13 the gas would not come on. The service company came out on 11/23 and ordered DSI module. The part was installed on 12/12. This was too late to bake Christmas cookies to send to my son in Afghanistan. I complained to Viking and they paid for the part. The labor was 250 dollars. On 12/5/14 my oven would not come on again. Last time the oven was used was two weeks prior. I called the repair shop and was told labor and part would be over 500 dollars. I called Viking and after considerable effort they agreed to cover parts and labor. But conveniently the part is on back order for 2-4 weeks. My son is finally home for Christmas after being in Afghanistan twice, Korea and other duty stations the last four Christmases. I will not be able to bake cookies for the holidays or Christmas dinner for him. I am so disappointed and hurt. We are very disappointed in the product. We spent over 10,000 dollars on it. Not to mention we own a large Viking grill. We expected a high-end product. I dont think thats what we got.

We saw the Viking range at Ferguson and there was a cardboard on display when we bought it that said that there was a temperature probe but Viking has discontinued that and didn’t think it was a good idea to update their literature. Even on the literature with the new unit that we got, it was still mentioning that same thing but we can’t use it because there’s no connection for it. And that is not acceptable. We bought the unit because we wanna have something that we could check the temperature of what’s cooking in the oven with and now we don’t have anything. I’ve asked them to get back on me and the representative for the area here hasn’t yet. I need to have a way to get temperatures inside the oven and I was expecting to have what I paid for or what was on the information that was on the oven. Then, we had a unit that was defective when we got it so we got that returned. The new unit seems to function better. When we’re cooking, it has enough power, which is good. We like the 23,000 BTU burners. The center, when we can get it enough to click on most of the burners, is good and that works well. The broil works really well in the oven but the bake doesn’t work really well. And the convection seems to be working okay, although we haven’t figured out the differences yet of the true con and the regular con.But we are still having issues with the burners, which click at low intensity when you have a hot pan and so on. The response I got from one tech was that the gas pressure was not okay, which is not true, and it is not due to the pressure line. I talked about it with the person that came in and installed the line. We put a new pressure regulator and so on because of the new line that we had to build in for this and that is working fine. We’re also having issues with the bake mode where the top element seems to be heating way too much than what would be expected. We can’t put anything on the top or close the top shelves because otherwise, everything burns on bake where we don’t mean to use convection. We were hoping that there would be an adjustment that can decrease the temperature on the top element on the bake. No one came back to us on that. We’re still waiting for these things. Also, when we got the unit, the convection fan was loosened during transportation. When we started the convection, the convection would rattle like its helix was touching metal or whatever. The tech took the housing off and tightened up the convection fan screws. That took care of that and it hasn’t happened since the technician came. The unit is beautiful when you buy it but as soon as we start using it, the copper pots of the burners are extremely difficult to clean. As soon as something falls on it, it kinda stains. We’ve tried all the tricks that they have in their manual including the ammonia and some salt but that still leaves stains. Also, the base of the burners is already coming off after we cleaned them three times and that also was a big disappointment. The choice of the material to cover this is probably not the best. We bought this semi-commercial unit because we cook a lot and the durability is not what I expected for $12,000. The people that we bought it at advised us against buying it because of the issue that they had. And we went away and bought it because we figured Viking has been trying to face these problems for some years and they must have seen the problems. But they clearly haven’t.

This house has a built-in Viking refrigerator and on the right is the all-freezer. The refrigerator is loud and the compressor was constantly running so the previous owner of this home had to have it replaced under warranty in 2016, which was only a year after he bought it. When we purchased the house in August 2017, and just before we closed escrow, he had to call Viking to get service because the temperature of the refrigerator was not keeping cold and there was a leak in the coil. The appliance is relatively new and that worries me but so far, the refrigerators been keeping cold so I’m thankful for that. But I am surprised at the compressor noise and we live in a development where the builder got Viking for all the units. I looked at several units when I was purchasing and I noticed the same noise in every kitchen because the floor plans are similar. It’s quite loud and it’s not infrequent. I even talked to the owner in one of the homes and she had changed out the Viking for a Wolf refrigerator. She said she did it because the Viking was so loud. Also, at first I was worried that there was a problem, but I looked at the freezer temperature and it’s constant at what it should be used. It just runs hard and it’s very sad to me because I’m going to end up having to replace it at some point. The refrigerators features are reasonable, but for that kind of investment, I would never buy one of this. I have an experience with a built-in Thermador and that has superior quality compared to this Viking.

When we came in, the refrigerator was brand-new, but the ice maker wasnt making any ice. We thought it was still under warranty, then it wasnt because the warranty started when the builder finished the property, and we purchased it eight months later, then we came in several months after that, so it had been over a year. But then, Viking went ahead and sent someone out and fixed it. They said to make sure that its on vacation mode and the levers up for the ice so we did that. We were there during the summer and we came back for Thanksgiving and it was not working again. It was apparently something a little bit more major. But I love its double doors and where the freezer is at the bottom, and then it has the little buttons on the side with all the temperatures control. We bought a new house 3 years ago. The house came with all brand new Viking appliances, wonderful we thought... until we actually wanted to use them. We have a microwave, fridge/freezer, 6 burner range oven and dishwasher. Fridge/freezer and microwave have worked fine, so no complaints there.Oven and dishwasher however, are a bit of a disaster. First of all the oven - the gas was coming in too far from the flame, so it would never light properly, or it would light and then go out after a few seconds, just leaving the click click click as it tried to reignite, and the smell of gas everywhere. Called the engineer and he repositioned the pipe so it would work properly (the original issue might have been the problem from installation and not a Viking problem, Im not sure). Then after this visit, the fan in the oven makes a ting ting ting noise knocking against something if we try to use it - as wed had the engineer out for the dishwasher in the middle of this, I couldnt face getting him here again, so we have lived for 3 years without using the fan. Now onto the dishwasher which wasnt working when we moved in (brand new dishwasher), sometimes it would stop mid-cycle, other times it wouldnt go on at all. We had the service engineer out several times. First time he tried resetting everything, then second time he ordered a new electric panel on the front and came back and installed it later, then after that it seemed to work fine. Until yesterday, when the electric heater failed - at least this is the word on the Viking website talking about this very issue on a product recall (which doesnt include our dishwasher). As I sat about 3 feet from the machine, I heard a strange short circuit sound and a pop, seconds later there was smoke coming from the machine (which was running), I grabbed the fire extinguisher and switched everything off. Moved our two babies to another room, and pulled the machine out of the wall with my husband, smelt where it was coming from, and dismantled the thing to find a completely burnt out electric heater and wiring on the bottom. Very dangerous. We now have a semi-dismantled dishwasher in the kitchen and we are trying to get the part replacement - officially this is on a 6-week order lead time. More to come, but 100% sure that I would not purchase Viking again.

In December of 2010, I had my kitchen remolded and bought an 8 burner, double oven Viking Pro range. When I owned a restaurant in the mid 80s we had a Viking range and I loved it. It cooked evenly and baked, roasted, broiled - fantastic. So Viking was naturally my choice. I paid around $12,000 for the range and $4,000 for the vent hood. The first year after it was installed, I did not use it much. My Mother became ill and I went to take care of her. When I started using it last year, it worked fine for a few months. Then in October of 2013, the oven started to cool down after an hour or so of cooking. Thank goodness I purchased a warranty for five years. The Viking certified repairman came out in November 3 times until a part was replaced that was recalled or so they said. The ovens and burners worked fine when the repairmen left. Two hours later, nothing worked - not even the burners which had no previous problems. Nothing would come on. Three more times repairmen come out. Finally in February, it was fixed until May when it started to do the same thing. The oven would not hold heat. Two more service trips and two months later, it was once again fixed. 10 days later after cooking and baking every day, the oven did not cook properly. My cheesecake and pies were not done in the middle and the bottom crusts were uncooked. A 3-lb chicken took 3 hours to roast and still was not hot enough to be safe to eat. A week later, the repair service is out again. Only this time he only puts his thermometer in the oven and after 30 min. says its holding temp. properly. Cant tell you how frustrated I am. I am not an amateur cook. I was a chef for 15 years and I used good ole recipes that have worked more than a thousand times in the correct time limits. Even after adding an additional hour to hour and a half baking time, pies and cakes were raw in the middle. Repair man doesnt understand it should be cooking properly. Hello, I showed him one of the pies I kept - nothing to say. Hate this oven by now. Cant understand, unless it cant work when used daily, for more than an hour. I will never buy a Viking range again. Bought my son a nice LG. Works beautifully - no problems at all.

Second failing of self cleaning feature on a dual gas/electric Viking Range that I bought specifically so that I could have gas plus electric self cleaning. The range is 11 years old and Ive infrequently used the self cleaning, perhaps 7 times at the most. First repair in 2009 cost $700 and now it is broken again. At this rate, self cleaning is costing $100+ per use. When I complained the first time about the outrageous repair cost to Viking, they figuratively shrugged their shoulders. Were not in a remote area, but its not as highly populated so getting service people out has caused delays. Were actually on our third Viking refrigerator. The first one had been damaged in shipping, and the shipping caused some issues because of the supply chain. Then it sat in our garage because of construction delays. When they came to unbox and install it, it had major physical damage, so we didnt go any further. It took a while to get one, but they found it, and then we had nothing but problems with that second one. Alarms were going off all the time, it wasnt holding, its cold in either side, the ice maker wasnt working, it was horrible. Weve had to throw massive amounts of food away because we bought all new stuff for the cabin so its been a pain. They had somebody come out, did a couple of things, it worked for a day, and then we have more issues. They replaced all these different parts to it and this took us quite a long time because the service company doesnt do repair. Finally, they realized that they would never be able to get it worked so they ordered us another one and that one was delivered and installed and its worked really well, except for the ice maker.I understand the delays in getting attention placed on our case. Im usually a pretty calm person, but I had to get a little nasty with the sales rep because I didnt feel like she was helping. The holidays are coming. We needed refrigeration in our house. It was difficult so I had to put my foot down and demand a loaner. She ended up coming through with that and then she said that I would have to pay for it as well as the delivery and installation. I told her I wont. It was a back and forth show. Also, every step of the way, somebody made a commission off of this and so they needed to come to the table to help a little more. We felt like we got a fair price, buying two Viking items and get a set of cookware free, and we got a free microwave, so we wanted to make this work. Plus, we have wood paneling for the doors. If we were to switch and go with a different brand, which we wanted to do, it would have been a major additional cost to us. Well, Viking has been responsive. Its a $10,000 refrigerator and so they need to go through what they need to do to make sure its working right before they scrap the whole thing. It was just really frustrating while it was all happening.

I bought a kitchen full of appliance from Viking. My refrigerator has caused what appear to be typical problems. Doors not closing or sealing correctly. Ice maker repair four times thus far. Company over the years could have been more congenial!

In the middle of December we went to a place called Famous Tate here in our city and we started looking around. We actually went there to purchase KitchenAid appliances but when we found the Viking, we liked it better. We needed a counter depth fridge and Viking seemed to have more interior space than all the other counter depth ones that we could find. We loved it. The only thing about it is that the ice maker doesnt make ice very quickly and it is just making 10 cubes a day. Their salesman was super nice though. We ended up buying the floor model that they had so we got a big discount in price too. Viking Refrigerators seemed like a higher end product that was built really well.
