My refrigerator has leaked for 10 months. I have a side-by-side freezer and refrigerator each freestanding unit, but they are mounted in together. My freezer was reinstalled crooked, and now I’m waiting to hear back from Viking to get it adjusted and installed correctly. I first reported the incident with my original refrigerator in July of 2018. It took me 10 months and 11 service calls to get my unit replaced, and many windows of times waiting for someone to come and service it as recent as yesterday because my Viking refrigerator and my Viking freezer had two different badges on them -- the tag on it that says Viking. One says Viking Professional, and it’s 2x4 inches large, and the other one is 1 inch by 2, 3 inches wide, so they dont match. They sent someone out to fix the badges, and the repairperson was not able to because of the badge that was sent. So, I took time out of my day to be home during my service window, only for him to tell me, “Sorry, I can’t do anything for you. You’ll have to call again.” I would tell others to buy a Sub-Zero instead.

We did a lot of research online so that’s how we figured out Viking is a good brand name. I like it. We bought a whole set of Viking. We have the fridge, dishwasher, hood, stove, and microwave. I like that the refrigerator makes ice pretty fast because I like to drink something cold. It also has a separate compartment for different sizes like for fruits and vegetables. I also like that I can take everything off to wash it. It’s very easy to clean. But then when we called because the fridges icemaker was not making ice, I haven’t heard back anything yet. I got it from one of the distribution partners so the date might not be within the warranty. In the end, we read out on my manual and tried to defrost everything and now it works. That means the quality is good, but in the end, they could never resolve anything for us. We just figured out and did everything ourselves.

The range is large and stainless steel. And it feels like it has high build quality. I coordinated a fix on a gas leak through email. Viking had to send the repair guys out a few times to figure out the leak. They were attentive and followed up.

I purchased my 36 dual fuel oven the summer of 2005 and had installed by mid-fall. It hasnt worked properly since the day I bought it. I threatened legal action after the first oven was installed as the the burners would not ignite and the oven would not maintain a consistent temperature. After several months of frustration and battles, they replaced the unit with a brand new one which has not worked properly since the day it was installed. For the second Christmas in a row, I have not had an oven. I have manually lit the burners for 2 years now after spending a small fortune on replacing ignition units. There has not been a six month period since the unit was installed without one or several repair calls. Viking has no interest in standing behind their products. I know several people personally that have purchased Viking products and got to the point of legal action because of their appliances not working. One in particular installed a wall oven only to have the glass melt off and fall onto her brand new kitchen floor the first time she used (thank God someone wasnt standing in front of it).

Our refrigerator is very convenient, large, and has good quality. The only thing I dont like about it is that adjusting the temperature, which is two little controls up on the top, is not very clear and it doesnt read out the exact temperature, just has these little bars. So, it takes a lot of time to figure out how to use it, how to set it, and get it to the right temperatures. At the very bottom, it freezes up and the water gets into the drain in the back on the bottom and we once had to thaw it out ourselves. Another time, we had to call a repair person cause there was no way for us to do it. If only they have as many other refrigerators have where you set the temperature and it shows you what its set for and what its actually reading, and I would make sure that they have improved the heating unit that would prevent the drain in the freezer from freezing.

Our house was under construction for two months so I didnt get to use it for two months after it was delivered. When I first used it, the switch was not working and did not light up the fire. I still have to call in to Viking for repair. But the exterior of the range looks great and the quality has been good so far.

The stove has been nothing but a headache. This oven worked for literally 5 months then stopped working. We attempted to fix it with experienced repair men but after changing the spark module and the ignitor, still nothing. What the heck have you manufactured Viking. For $5500.00 all we have at the moment is a hunk of metal with a $660 repair cost to boot to the original cost. Thanks for taking my money out of the bank and tossing it in the garbage. As they say happy wife, happy life. Well my wife is not happy therefore my life isnt doing too well.

In the later part of September 2016 we purchased a Viking Range model # VGIC 53014bss with high expectations only to find problem after problem with this range, as a matter of fact its a laundry list of problems and too many to mention. I could write a book in less time, its just not believable!!! My theory is and its verifiable that some of the more important components (parts) they install are sourced from China, Mexico etc. They are not manufactured in the U.S. or Europe and this is where the PROBLEM lies. This might not be politically correct but its a matter of fact, if you use inferior parts you should expect problems, and the words (made in the U.S.) becomes ambiguous, it should state assembled in the U.S. Its like buying a Cadillac only to find it has a Japanese motor. Buy cheap you get cheapNow onto the Viking customer care reps, these poor people are subjected to more abuse from disgruntled customers and their complaints, its as if they were part of the manufacturing process, I personally have had only good if not excellent experience with them! They can only do so much and have no options other than to say theyre sorry when problems arise, the executives are solely to blame (Accountability). It seems they must be distant from the overall process i.e. quality control, part supply, etc, etc, in actuality they should be embarrassed. Why should any Viking customer have to wait weeks or even months for service due to a lack of part availability? This also reflects on the service people and their small companys service job becomes protracted and customers like myself get disgusted.Ive recently dissuaded two of my friends from making a Viking Range purchase and not for any reason other than reliability, I am not going to be embarrassed. I just say dont judge book by its cover (oh but its beautiful). I agree but it does NOT live up to its name, its so sad especially when you spend big $$$s and thats for low end of the Viking range line. In summary and again I will not recommend Viking, hence to be forewarned is to be forearmed!!!

Viking is a valuable brand and it conveys quality. Purchasing our range was super easy. We looked at a lot of local, brick-and-mortar stores here, but no one carried it. They werent carrying a lot of different things because of inventory issues with COVID. So, we ended up ordering it online through a website called Appliances Connection. We got it within six weeks. So, it was great. Install was seamless. Im pretty happy with the rebate. As far as the range itself, I like that the knob lights up and that I can change the colors on it. I like also the bronze gold colored burners. What I dont like about it is you cant keep the bronze gold color burners looking new. Theyre already discolored. So, thats frustrating. Also, in the oven, its hard to tell when its at temperature, as well as theres no broil setting, which is strange. Ive never had another without broil setting on it.

Weve had our Viking for years now since we renovated our kitchen. I love the look of it as well as the induction cooktop. It is incredible. But in the last year, we spent thousands of dollars on getting both the panels of our induction cooktops replaced. The guy that I called at Viking was awesome and he helped get it through. That one was covered under warranty. But there was a stocktake that happened right before Thanksgiving and Viking shut down for it. That meant that parts didn’t ship for weeks and weeks. Who shuts down a cooking warehouse for stocktake the week before Thanksgiving? It’s the most important food holiday in the entire country. What kind of management decision was that? It was insane. We didn’t get the part for our range until after Thanksgiving. We got the first side fixed just before Christmas. And then about three months ago, the other one went out and. That wasn’t under warranty anymore and that cost us over $1,300. The same thing happened with the part too. The guy gave the part but Viking sent the wrong one. The guy came and installed it, but it didn’t work. He then got another part. It came back and it still wasn’t working. He finally figured out that time that they sent the wrong part. The guy came back a third time. It was like a complete saga. I had to be home four times to get the second side fixed. Viking range is incredibly expensive. We probably could’ve bought a range for a third of the price. I expected this thing to last for 30 years and not have a problem with it. But since these induction panels started going out, it had been a nightmare. The other one that was replaced under warranty the other day is doing something funky. We have to keep an eye on it because it has a 12-month warranty on it. Also, my understanding from the text is that there are only a couple of companies in the world that make induction boards. Whatever products you buy, you’re basically getting the same induction board in there. And this one is the best. But it still seems like there are some issues with the technology. At this point in time, it’s been very disappointing overall. You don’t expect to pay for a top-of-the-line range to have to then deal with this repeatedly. When the range is working, it’s wonderful. I love it! I just don’t love that it keeps breaking and it cost me a fortune to get it fixed. It is unacceptable. The interesting thing is the company we’ve been dealing, Appliance Pros, has been pretty great although it was frustrating having to call and be told that Viking was shut down or the part was not yet shipped. We felt bad for the guy who came and fixed the last issue we had. He made four visits for one repair that could have been done in two visits. Im dissatisfied with Viking.

Wolf and Viking were our go-to brands and Viking Ranges price point was better than Wolf. The Viking dealer we bought it from was more of a challenge. We had a damaged Viking hood that we had to get replaced and I know the product was non-Viking. We got a fourth trim kit before it was not dented out of the box. If I didnt go in there and follow up all the time, I wouldnt have it. They could have answered emails or returned phone calls. And I was very disappointed that we spent like $38,000 of them. But we eventually got it all resolved four months later. Its the best oven weve ever owned. When you cook meat in it, everything just comes out so much better. Its easier to cook them to temp. We cooked one of those Tomahawk steaks for the first time and it came out just like in a restaurant. It was amazing. My wife likes the gas grills because before weve had all kinds of high-end electric ovens over the years and they were okay but not like this oven.

Viking stove VES3064BSS electric 4 burner - Is anyone having problems with burning food? My oven runs really hot. I have to adjust the temperature and the time on all the things I put into the oven and its still over cooking my food. I had a repair man in for my dishwasher and he checked it and said it could be the hinges and also checked the temperature in my oven and it runs way over what the temperature is supposed to be. I feel the same as others, Viking does not back their product. I love to cook and bake and this stove has been a disappointment!

Our business is residential remodeling. In 2006 we remodeled our home and spent extra money on Viking appliances (double ovens, cooktop and microwave), because of their previous reputation and because clients often look at our kitchen. Weve had issues with each of the Viking appliances, but weve had the most complaints with the ovens from the beginning. They take a long time to heat up and the bottom oven does not heat up as well as the top one. The broil function is ridiculous because there is no prop on the door to leave it slightly open when broiling, so the oven gets too hot and turns off the broiler and my steak doesnt cook properly unless I leave the door completely open to keep the top coil hot. A couple years ago the clock went out on the oven and when we tried to have it repaired we found the part had been discontinued after only 7 years. I havent been able to find an aftermarket part so my self-clean and timed baking are virtually gone. When spending extra for high end appliances, I expect them to function properly and to last and to be able to find parts for them for at least 10-12 years. Ive tried on different occasions to contact Viking, but have gotten nowhere. I know appliances dont last as long as they used to, but to quit providing parts on appliances after 6 or 7 years seems ridiculous in the customer service world. I dont recommend Viking to any of my clients.

My Viking refrigerator broke. We moved in to a brand-new house and the refrigerator started making a loud, fan-like noise and started dripping water. I called Viking and they gave me the number of a place for repair people but those guys still havent gotten back to me and it has been a month. They call me and tell me that theyre gonna set something up but then they never call back with an appointment. We have brand new Viking appliances and spent a lot of money on them. Ive never been able to use my steam oven because it didnt come with a drip pan. I called Viking for that and they told me that its on backorder and that I would have it in three weeks. That was three months ago. I like the way my Viking appliances look but when they break down, theyre impossible to fix. I have better luck with my other appliances. I had a GE Monogram before and there were no problems. If I had a problem with it, their repair guys would be at my place the next day. Still, my Viking refrigerator which has a full fridge and a full freezer has held a lot of stuff. I can put three weeks of groceries in it. I recommend Viking for the look but Im not happy that their stuff was really expensive and now they arent working already.

We had a Viking range and refrigerator in our old house and the range was fabulous and the fridge was terrible due to the interior water dispenser that constantly leaked water that pooled inside the fridge. When we moved to our new home, we needed to, once again, buy a new fridge and we (stupidly) purchased another Viking fridge because we were told the interior water dispenser was discontinued because it was a defective design. NOW, we have no water dispenser and we have an entirely new problem -- where the ice maker sprays water all over the inside of the freezer causing a film of ice to cover everything. Now, I have to defrost my freezer ever 3 weeks like my mom did in the 1970s by taking everything out and scraping chunks of ice out of of the freezer. When the ice maker DOES work, it makes one tray of ice about every 12 hours which is not helpful for a family of 5. We have had the freezer serviced 3x which has cost us a thousand dollars and each time the repairman tells me how many Viking fridges he is called for -- and how AWFUL Viking customer service is. They wont even return his calls. If I could give them a ZERO, I gladly would.

We purchased a Viking Range and Microwave 5 years ago and we believed it would be a wise choice but it was anything but. The quality was poor. The oven door never closed right and the oven light stayed on all the time. And after many complaints we finally had to have service to change the hinges that never worked right. The bill for that was $600 and the electric oven takes way too long to heat up and the thermostat had to be changed twice. The microwave just failed and that is costing $400 to fix. I will never recommend Viking or the dealer Pacific Sales in So Cal to anyone, dont waste your money on Viking. They are not the company of the past and the quality and durability is no longer there, as for Pacific Sales after they take your money they are no longer interested in satisfying their customers needs. Frankly they suck at service and stand behind what they sell...

My wife didnt want the ice maker on the exterior of the fridge, so we chose Viking. We knew what we wanted when we bought our fridge at Best Buy. The product that we got seems fine, but its kinda noisy and vibrates when it makes ice. The plastic wrap on the door was annoying, but otherwise the fridge is all right. My Viking double oven is a piece of junk. It never properly worked. Ive tried several times to get the ovens fixed and even the repairmen say that Viking is having serious manufacturing problems all related to maintaining heat. My cakes come out in a wavy shape because the heat isnt evenly distributed throughout the oven. The oven is so bad now that it cant stay heated; Thanksgiving turkey wouldnt cook because the oven couldnt sustain an even temperature after an hour or so. I tried turning on the convection and the fan wouldnt run. Just put in a pork loin roast, and the oven couldnt maintain its temperature. Another piece of meat destroyed by Viking. Piece of junk for $7,000!!

The Viking Range is really good and I like their burner power feature. However, we ended up getting one that we didnt even buy which is the appliance dealers fault. We bought the six-burner series with the griddle in the middle but ended up with an eight-burner that they installed. We were not here during the install, which is fine. I’m not upset about that. But trying to get the griddle and our money back has been a chore and we have been at it for two months and cant understand why it hasnt been done. The guy who owns the place is extremely knowledgeable and taught us a lot when we went to see him and he did a wonderful job on the install but the follow-up items after the fact have just been a nightmare for us. But as far as the range goes, my wife absolutely loves it.

The house that I bought had the Viking range in it. Im really happy with my experience with it. I love the center stove. Its huge and it helps me put my plate in there and then make pancakes for the whole house which is very convenient. However, in terms of difficulty, its just very hard to know what temperature the oven reached and how long that would take. Because it doesnt have the setting to say, Okay, pre-heat it. I have to go at least 400 degrees Fahrenheit. And theres no way that tells me that its ready at 400. One time I had one knob that my son broke so I had to call them. But it was out of warranty, so they just said it was out of warranty. I said, Okay, no problem. But they provided me information in terms of who can help me fix it. So I just called an external agency and then set it up with them. Id definitely recommend Viking to a friend.

I got a Viking range lately and Ive had a bit of an issue with the burners. I’m out in the boonies so it’s on propane. We purchased a free standing Viking Professional Range for our kitchen remodel. After a couple of years the griddle went on one night by itself and started a fire in our kitchen at 3am. Needless to say this was a harrowing experience. We had to have our entire kitchen and living room cleaned and repainted. The response from Viking was to send out a repair guy and change the control. Viking offered nothing for the cost of the fire damage and pushed back on helping out with even providing a new griddle cutting board.A couple of weeks ago the replacement switch went off by itself in the middle of the night again. Causing a second fire in our kitchen at 1:30am. We have contacted Viking and they offered to send out a repair company to replace the control again. We want this range removed from our home. This Viking Range is dangerous. There is a national recall on these. Look out for their expensive junk.Viking was bought by Middleby a few years ago. Since then the products are truly not worth it. They are cheaped out cost contained products at a high price. They put some stainless steel fronts with nice logos and call it professional. It is very poorly made unreliable sparkly stuff. Run from this place. Dont walk. Buy a Wolf or a Samsung not this junk....

There was a technical issue with our Viking that led to it being replaced. It was an older model that had a very unfortunate habit of freezing over the freezer at the bottom. The customer service was quite good. My wife contacted a US service representative who referred us to a local repair person who came to our house and assessed the issue. Being that this was something that was recognized as Viking and something that warranted a replacement, he reached out to a Canadian representative who emailed us and spoke to my wife. We then signed a contract and an NDA and they replaced the refrigerator. So far, the freezing at the bottom hasnt happened with the new unit. It functions well.

The Viking is the first built-in refrigerator I have ever had. I am very happy with the way the interior is designed. Everything functions well in the refrigerator portion. I do however find it is a bit difficult to take apart and clean. The exterior door does not open wide enough to remove the bins and shelves easily. It is hard to maneuver. I am also happy having the freezer on the bottom. It makes it very easy to use.I have had no problems with the refrigerator however I had a very severe problem with the freezer. For some reason the small drain where the defrost water cycles got clogged up. This I think is quite difficult to do as it is behind a whole plastic wall. But it happened and the freezer froze full of ice and the door would not open. It was a total mess. The service man who repaired the freezer said that the Viking factory does not install a small part in the drains that would have alleviated this problem because of the fact that then the refrigerator would no longer have the economy rating it has. I do not know if this is a true statement or not but it was what I was told. I want to say that fortunately this occurred three days before the three-year warranty expired as it was an extremely expensive repair.

I saw Viking Ranges a few times and I liked the quality that it provided and how everything was cast-iron, durable. I like to cook so I told my wife if we’re going to upgrade the kitchen, I’m going to go all-out and get the stove that I want. Something that blended a little bit and had that commercial, restaurant look, and Viking was definitely a factor and their warranty was a big reason too. It is what I was looking for. I also looked at some of the higher-end products but I thought of just getting the one that I want with a higher quality. I got the 30” Series 5 and I like its broiling infrared feature. I also bought a range hood for the top. I already told my wife that if we sell the house, they’re either going to have to pay cash for the appliances or they’re coming with me. I went through Elite Appliance and the shipping was free and the delivery was on time. They had it tracked for me. I got a good deal on my 5 Series. So, I was really happy with them. I would definitely recommend Viking Ranges to whoever is upgrading their house. I know it’s hard. People don’t want to spend that kind of money on a stove. My wife still thinks I’m crazy, but every time somebody comes over, it’s the wow-factor. They walk in and say, “Wow, it’s a beautiful stove.” It makes the kitchen almost like a chef-style kitchen and that’s what I like about it.

Last night our Viking oven decided to self ignite, which resulted in a 911 call (electrical fire). The oven was off, and had we not been in the house, or in bed, then the situation could have been much more serious. I contacted Viking directly (this morning) to report the incident, but I am not entirely convinced that Viking is really that concerned - in fact the response was somewhat casual. They were more concerned about whether the warranty was valid.A colleague of mine had a similar issue a few weeks ago - oven (a Viking) self ignited. Again, this resulted in a 911 call. I got the impression that Viking arent too concerned, however, I would like to use this review as a warning to other Viking users to check your oven - make sure you know how to isolate the gas and power to the appliance - make sure your smoke detectors are working - make sure you have a fire extinguisher and is rated for an electrical fire!

We love our Viking Refrigerator so far. The size is great because it is a really tall one. And of course, side by side is good. The only thing is that the side door where the butter is held, on occasion, if I put butter in there whatever keeps that door closed isnt strong enough and it pops open and the butter falls out every once in a while. But overall the refrigerator is restaurant quality, and Viking is professional. And when I originally mailed in the warranty and I had to call because I have the wrong address, whoever helped me there was wonderful.

This is my first Viking Range. Granted, it’s one of the lower end models, but still not cheap. I was very disappointed with the incredibly loud vibration noise made by the convection oven. Repair/ motor and fan replacement was unsuccessful. Seems it’s the back vent that vibrates? Not the fan. Still can’t use when I have people over because it’s in my “open concept” kitchen. One knob had to be replaced because it stuck and I couldn’t easily turn off the burner. This all in the first month of use... not what I expected from Viking.

The quality of Viking is very good. The stovetop and the oven get hot really quickly. I wish it was a little bigger but that was a decision we made and I didnt realize that it would feel as small as it is. But, it doesnt have any fancy electronics and thats a bit hard to get used to at first. We also used to have a griddle but its okay. We have a better functioning stove or oven and its definitely an improvement from what we had last. However, Im having some trouble. When the Viking arrived, it took some time to get it installed because our kitchen was under renovation. It was more than a month. We got a range, and with it, we also got a dishwasher and that came dented. When we called, the reps were like, “Why didn’t you open it right away?” And were like, “We were told that it was going to be a very, very long wait because of COVID. And so we ordered it in April, knowing we were renovating in June.” The company that we bought it through was very nice, and they ended up working with us on it. So it turned out to not be a problem. But they came to replace the dented door of the dishwasher and they brought another dented door. So then we waited again. It took a long time to get it all settled. On the oven, the light shows that its preheating or that its on. Sometimes, we can hear the gas lighting. Also, there have been numerous times where I come back to look at my potatoes and the oven has been off the whole time and this happens a lot. But it’s not like it was smelling gas in the house. So we’re starting to be able to piece together that there’s something that’s not right. It has happened at least seven times where Ill start the oven, it will be hot, Ill put my food in, Ill go back, and then the whole meal is ruined because its not hot anymore. But its on 400.

One of the selling points of the house for my wife and I was that it had Viking appliances in it. Viking has an excellent reputation and it would be my choice. They look so beautiful and they work so well, so were very happy with them. We like the quality too, however, were having a problem with one of the burners. Weve sent in the registration paperwork and took the numbers right off of the appliances. We have to go through our building contractor since its under the one-year house warranty. They are supposed to be contacting Viking to set up an appointment for them to come out and look at the Viking cooktop and see what the problem is. Another issue we encountered was with the registration. We were told everything is verified except for either the microwave or the stove. Other than that we always recommend Viking.

We had a built-in grill when we moved into the house about 40 years ago. We then replaced that and got a 24-inch Viking grill. When we decided to get a new stove, we wanted to match it up. Previously we had an electric stove. We checked other things like BlueStar, but we liked the looks and the style of Viking so we selected it. Its great and the heat of the range is so much even and it works so much better. The temperature control is really nice and I like the one pullout rack which is really convenient. The product is also easy to clean. I lift up the racks on top of this each day and I can dust underneath there. You can take the ceramic tops or the steel tops off the burners as well. It’s really nice and so much better than electric. It also looks like a million bucks and will never go out of style. It always looks like a professional item and is classy looking too. Its the best there is. The installers did an excellent job and we had all the trim pieces. We inquired about getting a broiler from them but Viking doesnt make them anymore. I’m going to have to have some Viking products when we move. I was in the Fire Department before I retired and all the fire stations had Viking grills and gas stoves. There were about 8-burner stoves and that’s where I first saw them. They always worked well. I am thankful for Vikings good products and am appreciative of them. I’d highly recommend Viking.

The new house I bought already had a Viking range and everything else, except for the refrigerator. I then bought a Viking fridge. All is great except with the ice-maker, which is annoying. Ive already had to have it replaced. Its a brand new machine, and every time I open up the door, the ice falls down. It is horribly designed. They should have figured it out. The ice machine is not one of those where you put a cup into it. Its just like a normal ice machine where one has to open up the door. So every time I open up the door, the ice falls down the back side and then I cant shut the door until I go down on all fours and pull it out from that.

My sister has a Wolf range and Ive seen friends of mine who has a Viking. I did my research and I ended up buying a Viking. Its just a sexy looking machine and I like its power and the way it cooks. Its probably the best in the market. However, when I cleaned the range, I did not know that there was a special way to put the pots back on to control the gas. And so, I wasnt too happy at first. But when the guy came out, he showed me what I was doing wrong. And so, right now, I like the range. However, its ridiculous that they have a Viking product through Best Buy. It was three days before Thanksgiving when the installer was to put the range into my kitchen and I noticed that my range wasnt the right range. The specs that I gave them was from the guy at Best Buy. It was the correct specs but that guy ordered the wrong range. And so, Best Buy lucked out because it could have been a disaster with the guy that was remodeling my kitchen because he put in new cabinets. I would suggest that if Viking is going to continue to use Best Buy, they should train their people to benefit Viking because Viking is a really wonderful product. But the Best Buy people in Buford have lied. They wind up doing me right towards the end but two of their employees lied about it and I have no tolerance for that. But I will still buy another Viking range if my range holds up to par. If it does anything like my blower did, I probably would not buy another one. But I have not had any problems yet.

Our new house came with the upgraded package of Viking, but the range never worked. The stove wouldn’t light and we couldn’t keep it lit. It took us almost a year of repeated people coming out. We couldn’t get it right and it was because of multiple things. When they put it in, they got the wrong backing and it took three different people just to get that right. It was a huge relief when Viking replaced the stove for us. I like the stove, but when its on the blower is so strong that I can’t put a low heat on my stove top. If I have the oven on, I can’t put low on the burners because the blower blows into the burners. The repair people that we had were polite and professional and I dont fault them in any way. It was one of them that helped me get the new range. But Im disappointed and I will never buy a Viking again.

The store I went to had the Viking refrigerator at 18 months with no interest. But I had a horrible experience. They had a typical salesman who was just selling a product. But Im not very happy with the refrigerator. The door was bent a little and when I called the store for the warranty, they told me that I had to call Viking myself. A store should have a department to take care of the warranty for the product and not me calling 200 people to the warranty service. It was difficult. And the process that Viking had with their warranty made me feel like they didnt care about their customers. I called several times and they didnt know which companies in my area could take care of my appliance and they asked me to call the companies. I called several but they said they didnt work for Viking warranty. There was a lack of communication. If I’m a company and a customer that buys stuff in San Diego, Id know exactly which to call. It took several calls for me to get what I wanted. I had to wait for a company to come from LA, I live in San Diego, to come to my house to do my repairs. The tech showed up two weeks later. ut because he said there wasnt anything wrong with it, I had to fix the fridge myself. I work in the maintenance division.I will not buy another Viking in my life as I would have paid something cheaper with the same quality. I could have bought a GE or an Electrolux and I would have gotten the same result or better. Availability of parts is better too. I’m a reasonable person. If you spend about $14,000 on an appliance, they should treat you better. Right now, I try to order parts for my refrigerator because parts are not available. The appliance model number is also not in the system yet.

Weve had a horrible experience with Vikings customer service. I got a brand-new fridge from them and it came scratched up. I told Viking about it and I sent pictures. But its very hard to show pictures of scratches, and they said they couldnt see the scratches. They sent somebody to fix it and clean the scratches, but they never really came off. A brand-new refrigerator should be perfect, yet it was leaking as well. It was a nonstop leak and everything was wrong with it. It was a lemon. Also, the door broke and wouldnt close, and we needed a new spring in the door. The refrigerator was under warranty, and we had many customer calls and bad experience. Whenever I called in, I sat on hold for half an hour. The contractor came here and said they couldnt fix the refrigerator. So, after 20 visits, we got a new Viking refrigerator. I had a GE before this that was a cheap refrigerator, but then, this was the worst incident Ive ever had. I wish they would make their customer service better. Purchased a high end Viking Refrigerator in Oct, 2008 for just under $5,000. In August 2015 it stopped cooling due to a Freon leak. Local appliance repair fixed it temporarily by recharging at a cost of $541. Permanent fix required replacing defective Viking parts that were covered by warranty and ordered on Oct 1st. However labor costs of $1,800 plus tax were NOT covered.By Nov. 5 the parts had still not arrived. I contacted Viking customer service and got no satisfaction or assurance, so I wrote the COO of Viking a letter with the facts and expressing my dissatisfaction. It takes over 5 weeks to replace defective parts that are covered by warranty! It costs me $1,800 in labor to replace Vikings defective parts! I received NO response whatsoever from the COO or anybody at Viking. Eventually the parts arrived at the end of November and the refrigerator was repaired on Dec 7 -- OVER 2 MONTHS after the parts were ordered! With that kind of quality and their non-existent service, Ill never buy another Viking product and have recommended the same to every person and appliance seller I know.

My wife first heard of Viking Refrigerators, and we went with them for the price of the unit, the model we purchased and the brands reputation. The team at the Viking dealer was very helpful and delivery was done on time. The style and the temperature settings are nice. However, I dont know if Viking was worth the money we paid for. Weve had less expensive brands in the past that worked as well or had fewer issues than weve had with it. It should be more reliable for its price. The water dispenser is leaking and the ice dispenser has been replaced twice since we purchased the Viking refrigerator. Also, the approved service provider that was recommended on Vikings website was terrible. They came on April 17th, ordered several parts and then they communicated but there hasnt been anything done. They said they havent gotten the parts in yet or they are not sure if theyve gotten the parts in yet. Im having to contact them to follow up, and theyre not calling me despite our verbal agreement. After only 1 1/2 years my Viking range began to smell like gas when the temperature was set below 300 degrees. I had SoCalGas come out to check it and I was told the gas emission was at a safe level. A couple of years later one of the $62 lights inside ceased to function. Finally, the last straw, at the age of 5 1/2 years the oven didnt even heat up past 110 degrees. I had it repaired one week ago by having the spark igniter replaced, as well as the light. The oven worked only once after that. When I called Viking, their reps were very helpful, easy to deal with, and immediately helped me register my range so I could get the process started in the repair that I needed. I’ve had a couple of issues but they’ve been addressed through the warranty. They referred me to a local appliance repair company and theyve been responsive. It took a few weeks to fix the issues and there was a back-and-forth on getting the right parts in, but there had been no extraordinary delays. Currently, there’s still one remaining item for repair and they’re ordering a separate part for that.

Our 30 four burner Professional Viking range is a handsome appliance, but I bought it for cooking and not for looking. Its been a huge disappointment given its cost. The burner ignitors were immediately erratic, continuing to spark after ignition or refusing to spark. Then the oven ignitors failed, something that has to work in order to use the oven. We got them replaced at a ridiculous expense. The Viking-certified repairman was quite forthcoming with details of the Viking scam as he laughed all the way to the bank. Now the burner ignitors do not work, but we simply use a butane lighter. No problem. However, now the broiler ignitor is failing and I have to reach in with the lighter to light it with a nice whump. We have a full suite of Viking appliances. Its pricey but we chose them for their reputation and style. My wife likes the refrigerator more but I find it a little too shallow. Everythings up front. But aesthetically, its very pleasing and it goes with the other appliances as well as the rest of the redone kitchen, and it’s so far, so good. Initially, we had a problem with the refrigerator. It was probably within the first month. Id found a puddle of water below the freezer on the floor. I did not appreciate that at all. It had gone into a defrost mode unexpectedly, and we had to throw everything in the freezer away. The icemaker has that bar that will cut it off as it slows up. That doesnt work. The ice overflows and ends up on the bottom of the freezer. It’s never turned itself off, so you have to turn it off manually to stop the ice being generated. Otherwise, if you pull out the top shelf of the freezer, its higher than the rod because it pushes it out of it, pushes it to the back and out the back, off the end. Were not the only ones. We speak to other people who have it, and they say they have the same issue. From what I understand, there is no fix. It just doesnt do what you thought it would do. Thats something that from a design perspective should be looked at.

This is the one and only online product review I have ever written, and in spite of the many that precede mine, I feel compelled to chime in and advise other consumers to avoid Viking refrigerators (and dishwashers too, for that matter) like the plague!! We spent 2 1/2 yrs. on a complete state-of-the-art rebuild of our official historic landmark Victorian, to which we returned in July, 2007. As a Realtor who specializes in the sale of luxury properties in the San Francisco Bay Area. I had been recommending top-of-line Viking products to clients who needed to refurbish and stage their homes for resale. Today, I feel badly for ever having done that!We have a built-in custom paneled upper/lower Viking fridge that acted up immediately. Within a matter of months, the fresh produce in the lowest pullout semi-froze and had to be discarded. I believe (but am not certain) that special heater was installed under warranty to prevent this from happening again. Before the year was out, another problem (forget the details) and was fixed. Then, right after the warranty expired, the contents of the freezer melted and we paid for the installation of another heater... At some point thereafter, water from the fridge started pouring out onto the hardwood kitchen floor. Thank God we were in town when this happened and able to towel up the leakage for a few days until another heater could be installed. The entire bottom of the unit was frozen solid, and the floor boards immediately against the unit had warped.. Under duress, Viking paid for this repair. Finally, within the past year, the cooling of the refrigerator compartment ceased and we were without refrigeration for 4 or 5 days before -- you guessed it -- yet another heater could be installed (the cooling ducts had frozen). Additionally, we got a recall notice for the defective front door. The dealer who enthusiastically sold the Viking appliances to us stated in response to my expression of distress & disgust: Demand a replacement from Viking. Theyve had nothing but problems with those refrigerators (and dishwashers) -- they suck! I requested a replacement, without success... As for the dishwasher, while all the interior components had to be replaced and I must basically hand wash everything and use the unit for sterilization purposes only, at least its performed better than the refrigerator. Enough said!

I bought a new house and the builder offered Viking. Compared to GE, I picked Viking. However, its not so great so far because not only were the refrigerator shelves broken, I also get a lot of inconsistent temperatures inside. And everything freezes at the the top and bottom shelves. Things are going really bad. So, theres no good circulation of cool air. I sent an email to them a couple of months ago to see if they can send me a replacement but I dont have anything yet. I had a dishwasher that also broke down within a year. I had a lot of difficulty getting through to Viking. I was trying to tell them what happened. It took them a long time to understand when I called them. I asked them if they can just replace the dishwasher because Ive been waiting long to get it fixed. They sent me to the customer service but they couldnt understand what I was asking them to do. They were reaching out to the appliance repair guy when I was asking them to replace it in the first place. I had a very frustrating time. Thankfully its repaired now but it took them two months to get it fixed. I always thought Viking was a very good brand. Im very disappointed. Im not really recommending Viking to any of my friends until I think otherwise.

Had two issues with my range. First, the grate feet have come off my grills. After much back and forth (6-8 emails) a link was sent to me to order on my own. Unfortunately the feet and link were not available to be shipped to Canada. As well my range was still under warranty. I emailed back for another option for a Canadian supplier and my thoughts that this would be under warranty. I had no response (still have not). Secondly, the motherboard and fan stopped working, less than a year old. The process (online) was great to set up a call, however the process of having the claim put through to a technician and to have the product repaired took over a month. I love the product, but would still like an answer to the feet. Thanks.

Were from Mississippi, and supporting a local company seems like a good thing to do. We bought our Viking range from Southern Pipe and the sales team seemed to really know their stuff. My wife had a ton of questions for them and weve had good answers. They seemed to have dealt with those questions before or the saleslady might even own one, so she was able to speak about personal experiences too. We like all the features that came with the range and it has been really good. We havent had a gas stove before, so the fact that everything heats up really quickly is awesome to us. Plus it looks really good in our kitchen. We bought it back in the fall, but only got it installed in February, so were still sort of in a trial period of using it. It still feels pretty new, but everything weve thrown at it so far, its done exceptionally. Its the best stove Ive ever owned.

I’ve seen Viking Ranges around, and Ive seen them evolve into a more sophisticated product than they were originally. They are robust, close to commercial in quality and performance, but have the benefit of being thoughtful of a residential home. They have convection, high heat, and different things one might want, like a broiler and a griddle, and you may or may not want it. And they have stood the test of time. I had a Garland for 25 years. It was commercial and rugged, but it didnt keep up.The reps were not knowledgeable at the store that I bought it at. But they were not unfriendly. I came prepared, having done my homework. And I felt a little rushed. But too bad for me, you have to have tough feelings. I had an insurance plan and something went wrong. And the insurance wasnt the easiest thing to work out. It was hard to get them and to get help. That was a little slippery. The irony of it all is my electrician rewired the kitchen and they had switched the neutral. The stove knew it, and was misbehaving, and we thought it was the stove. The people in Brooklyn who fixed it, top shelf. They could have told me anything. They diagnosed the truth. “You got the wrong polarity, fix it”. We fixed it, but the stove was never broken. That is more important to me than the sales people by a mile. Viking has excellent factory trained technicians. Love that. The reason I bought the Viking was it has a smart sensor. If the flame went out, it knew, and it lighted it. I was stunned at that. It may have been around a long time, but I didnt know about it. So it has everything I’ve seen in lots of places, but it has a smart technology that is lifesaving. It’s fantastic. The caveat is weve had it a few years. The quality is good, and the performance is excellent. We rattle the doors, turn the knobs and spill things just like anybody else. And so far, its just humming along. I would recommend that stove in a heartbeat. And this is a person who had a Garland for a long time.

I had a friend who had Viking ranges and she raved about them. So, I figured I would just go with her recommendation. I like Vikings quality a lot. I had a Viking D3, the older version of this Viking, and this one is significantly better. I just love the level of the flames of the burner, its just consistent and even heating when youre cooking. The Vikings team was great. I actually had no problems at all. I liked the store that I purchased from a lot. The quality is great. I have a Viking oven and a Viking refrigerator, and I love them all. I would recommend them.

The refrigerator that we got is a little noisy, but weve gotten used to it. Other than that, the quality is very good. We have owned many Viking appliances over the years. Our most recent purchases have been a $5,000.00 freestanding gas range (VGSC530-4B) with 2 safety recall problems. Very inconvenient and required 2 days of my time to coordinate service people and repairs. Second, an undercounter microwave oven (VMOD240) which cost $1,300.00 and has a cheap plastic keypad. The finish started wearing off of the numbers within 18 months of normal use (by 2 people). Now it looks unsightly and dirty even though it is clean. I just ordered a replacement keypad part which cost $90... ridiculous for a strip of plastic. A microwave this expensive should be of higher quality and last longer. Also, over the phone, Viking customer service representatives can be snooty and surly. Hello... I am a C U S T O M E R... who has spent a significant amount of money on your products. Maybe you should be nice!! I will consider purchasing appliances from another manufacturer for my next project.

We’ve had Viking for years and thats the reason we got them the second time. We like the stove for the way it’s set up. The refrigerator’s open a lot and the temperatures on it have always stayed the same unless it’s real hot out. The new one has got the LEDs in it, which is nice. The doors in it are a little bit nicer than the old ones we had. We bought the items over the internet and it was real good. At this day and age, it seems like most of the time you buy something, it’s good for three years, and it goes to hell on you. We try to buy quality, and it shows. Viking has been a good product. The stainless steel is nice. The only thing we didn’t have last time was a dishwasher. This time we bought one. My wife had used the dishwasher once and it worked good. It’s real quiet.

My mom had the 36-inch Viking range for a while. She referred Viking and I know Viking appliances last longer. My refrigerator is basic, but I like the way it looks. The chill drawer for the beer and sodas is nice to have. We bought the fridge from Best Buy. They were okay, but they werent Viking-trained. They knew it was a high-end refrigerator and that was it. However, Pacific Appliance, the dealer, should stop using third party people. It was a floor model and it didnt come with a manual. I had to download everything. The guy told us that we should just go on YouTube and learn how to adjust the doors ourselves, and thats why we had to call an actual Viking person to help us out. Even though it was a floor model, they still went ahead and replaced the ice maker just to make sure thats working perfectly and the fridge has been working perfectly since.

I have had my Dual Fuel Viking Range for almost 16 years. I love it. My only complaint is that the self clean function on the large side has never worked. I had it worked on several times in the beginning. If I had it to do over I would have forced the guy to make it right but we built our home and I had a million things to address. The self clean function of my range missed my radar screen. I tried it again the other day and shockingly, STILL doesnt work. :) But now I hear constant ticking. Any suggestions? I would love to stop the clicking and I wish someone had a suggestion for making this feature work. Thanks!

I love my Viking range and it is a very high-end quality product. However, not the customer service at Viking. When I had a problem with the warranty and me registering my product, the issue wasnt quickly resolved. I had made several phone calls before I was able to make a date for someone to come out and look at the issue that I was having. I was being pushed around a little bit because I never registered my product. So, they said that they were gonna register it. I called back a week later and they hadnt done it. Its something that I could have done on my end, but they said that they were going to do it. I had to say, Whats going on? And then they finally worked it out. So, once registering the Viking was taken care of, I was okay with it. But the customer service wasnt the greatest at the time of getting my problems resolved.

They had somebody who comes out especially for Viking who was very knowledgeable. When we first got it, it wouldnt go on properly so somebody came out and adjusted it. Then when I clean and put the pieces back together, one or two of the jets would flare. We’re on our second Viking refrigerator because the first one failed after approximately eight years. The newer refrigerator which we got last year is operating great. It has not had the same problems at this point but having to replace a Viking after eight years, Ive never had that kind of circumstance with any other refrigerator brand. There are some parts that get frozen then they start to melt and leak in the refrigerator. They dont go out to the drain. There is this freezing thawing process that is part of the regular refrigeration process but the pathway for the melting gets blocked up. It gets frozen too so the water accumulates in the bottom of the refrigerator. That had happened a couple of times.Ive had problems with a variety of Viking products from double ovens to the refrigerators. I have two homes and I have full suites of Viking appliances in both kitchens. I’ve not been thrilled with them. Viking is overrated. They have a cachet but their performance and reliability do not live up to that cachet. There are lesser prestige brands that perform better than Viking.

I worked as a purchaser of electronic components and I thought it sounded fishy for a switch to cost that much. I used to pay pennies for some switches and granted there are different types for different uses, but nothing could justify $22.00. I took the switch description and specs and fed it into Google and like magic had a list of them including the one from Viking. Found the one that matched my needs for less than $3.00 ea., sent description of it to Viking and asked what the difference was.Vikings response was that there wasnt any difference between them and either one would be perfectly good to solve the problem with my Viking microwave. I purchased over $25.00 worth of switches because I wanted free shipping. Also, this model has 4 switches behind the keypad and I was not sure if one or more switches were bad. They are ripping off consumers with their high prices for appliances built by Sharp and sticking their Viking name on them and selling their made in China switches for $22.00. If this is not illegal, it should be!??? Does Consumer Affairs look into things like this? Wish they did.

We bought this unit in 2005 for a new kitchen with all new appliances. My problems with this unit are numerous and varied. At first we noticed that the interior plastic parts, such as drawers broke easily. These are very expensive and there is a real gap between the cost and the apparent value of the parts. Next, mechanical and electrical parts began to break down. We needed a small fan, available online for $8 and that took all of 10 minutes to replace, that cost several hundred dollars. We have had sensors go bad for similar costs to repair, and now the freezer wont get cold enough to allow the ice maker to produce ice. I would never buy from Viking again. Their products are flimsy and delicate despite the high price. I am willing to pay more for quality, but I didnt get that quality at Viking.

My friend had a Viking range and recommended it to us. We didn’t have a place for a double oven in the wall, so I wanted a large range and the Viking range happened to be available. We were looking at Wolf initially but the Viking range that we found and purchased was with the dual fuel and it was also the floor model. So it was over the top, but our kitchen is over the top as well, so it went with our kitchen. Also, the quality of the range is wonderful. I like the convection oven that Ive never had before and I use it all the time. It definitely works a lot faster than other ovens. We received a lot of appliances with different brands from the Viking dealer and the reps there were good. When we first had the Viking range installed, the convection fan was really loud and would rattle the floor when we put the convection oven on. They had somebody come out and replace the fan. It still gets a little loud, but it doesn’t do anymore what it did before, and we hope that we don’t have to ever deal with that situation again. They definitely rectified the situation promptly and that was really good. I will go back to Viking Ranges.

The range is at our vacation home and we don’t get out there as much as wed like, so I’ve only used it three times but I am in love with it. It’s nice and it’s a heavy-duty well-made product. Save yourself the trouble and read all the previous one star reviews. I wish I had done that. Two years ago when building my dream kitchen, I splurged and purchased a Viking stove. The stove would not heat up consistently as many others have noted and I finally called Viking for advice. Apparently, the warranty period had changed from 3 years to 1 year so I was on my own. They gave me an authorized dealer and I had to pay $450 for a service call and new igniter part. I was not happy but at least my stove would be working properly. Its now just three months later and again the same thing is happening. The oven turns on but in the middle of cooking, the igniter keeps clicking and the temperature does not remain consistent. Its hit or miss whether youll be able to cook your food. I had a GE stove in my previous home that cost a fraction of my Viking stove and it worked perfectly for 10 years and was still going strong when I moved. Dont waste your money on this overpriced defective product.

We installed all Viking appliances when we built our home. Thinking we had made a great decision on a high end appliance line. It has been very frustrating dealing with these appliances. The dishwasher stopped working and it was more to have it fixed than to purchase a new one. The double ovens have been running 75 degrees high after a year. After many expensive service calls they still are not fixed. The double sided refrigerator has been replaced once and the current refrigerator freezes food that is in certain areas of the refrigerator as well as we cannot regulate the temperature in the freezer, causes food to thaw. We have had many expensive service calls with no success in resolving this very frustrating problem. Viking appliances are beautiful but there is obviously a serious problem with their products.

I liked the quality of the Viking Range that I have observed at a family member’s house. I spent about two hours in the store and we finally landed on a product that I liked. However, I was really dissatisfied when the installer came to put the Viking Range in. They charged me $200 for the install, which I don’t remember having that conversation with my salesperson. I paid $50 to have them install the dishwasher so I thought I had paid for all of my installation fees already when I purchased the equipment. I paid them the $200 because my beef was not with them. My beef was with Famous Tate, who sold this stuff. I then brought my concerns to them. After some back and forth, and then realizing that I was not going to accept their answer, they finally gave me a credit of $200 on the purchase, which completely satisfied me. We also have a slight issue with our oven, where the door does not always close or shut off the lights. It is not pressing that little button that turns the light on and off. I have reminded my wife to call Famous Tate about it.

I am in the midst of a kitchen remodel. When searching for a range, Viking was definitely the brand at the top of my list. We were in Best Buy one afternoon for something unrelated. I went over to the range section of the store to browse, not knowing that Best Buy even carried Viking. As I walked through the aisles I noticed a white Viking Range. It was beautiful and fit my kitchen design perfectly. When we asked about the range, we were told it was returned by the customer, it didnt fit their design. So we purchased it immediately out of box. Last week, my contractors brought it into our home and installed it. Right away, we realized it was not working properly. We were told when we bought it, there was a two year warranty. I made a call to customer support. They patched me through to a technician who thought the issue was air in the gas line. We ran the range several times, following his instructions, and it still did not work. I called back to customer support and was told I had to register first and that takes 24 hours. I registered the range and called back the next day. I was then told the product was registered to someone else. The rep said he had to do some investigation and called me back. Turns out my warranty is expired because the customer who returned the range registered it and this had occurred two years prior. That was their final answer and they did nothing to rectify my issue. So, now I sit here with a Viking range that does not work in my brand new kitchen. While we are pursuing Best Buy to resolve our issue, I feel that the help I receive with my issue was unacceptable, given the price and reputation of the product. I will never look at another Viking product.Updated on 07/05/2018: We bought an “out of box” Viking range from Best Buy. We were told there was a 2 yr warranty - that was Best Buy’s error. When installed, the range did not work. After calling Viking Customer Service 4 times, I gave up. No one called me back. I called a Viking certified repair place and paid to have them come out. It was going to cost $1700 to fix my NEW range. AND, the technician recommended I return it as it looked like it had been taken apart. I did as he recommended and bought a different brand. I will NEVER buy Viking again.

I knew a couple of people who have Viking Ranges and they spoke highly of them. Viking also has a reputation that they stand behind their product and their ranges are very good at heating. However, I had a big issue when I first purchased the stove. I bought it from a store and they shipped it to the wrong place. They said that Viking had some issue then they said someone else had some issue. I was supposed to get it in November but I ended up getting it in January. I finally just called Best Buy and said I’m cancelling the order, then I placed a second order through AJ Madison which delivered it on time.I got the one with six open burners that deliver equivalent heat. So far, the stove has been great but I had two issues before with the stove. First, the oven conked out on me. I called Viking then the warranty people came over, looked at the oven, and fixed the spark igniter that was not working. The second issue was the ventilation hood and for whatever reason, the switch on it stopped working. So, the techs had to come in with a switch part. That took a little longer, though, since they said that they’re usually slow to get parts from Viking. I called them on a Monday and they were supposed to come on a Friday, but they said that they were two weeks out, so I waited a little bit. Both issues have been taken care of and Ive been very pleased with Viking.

I will never buy another Viking product after what we have experienced with our 5-year old Viking refrigerator. Until this year, we were so thrilled with our new kitchen. Then Jan 5, 2013 came and our refrigerator stopped working. We had to throw out well over $1000 in ruined food. Imagine my surprise to find that we couldnt get same day service for such a serious problem. Only after contacting Dave and Donna from RiverBend and Co, where we purchased all of our appliances, did we finally hear from a service company. They came out 2 days later. Since the parts are so expensive for this appliance, they are not kept in stock. Not only were we charged for the new part over $500, we had the honor of waiting almost 2 more weeks for the part to arrive and a service person to come back to install it. A horrible 2 weeks, but at least it was after the holidays and the refrigerator was able to be repaired. October 28, 2013, I came home from work to an alarm. Our freezer had defrosted again! By the middle of the night, the refrigerator alarm was going off. We lost everything for a second time! I called VESCO, the company who repaired our refrigerator the first time and they had no availability to send someone out and were not very interested in our situation. They recommended I call HADCO, and after 24 hrs received a response that they had great news - a serviceman would be in our area in 8 days! I think that is unacceptable. I started searching online to see if other Viking owners had had similar experiences. There are thousands of us posting similar reviews online about these refrigerators. We are heading out to buy a cooler today and now have to wait until Monday to start calling again to get a resolution. We are so disappointed that Viking does not care about its customers. Buyer beware.

I dont know how this company is still in business. I purchased electric ran
I dont know how this company is still in business. I purchased electric range early this year. At some point we damaged glass top of the range and ordered a replacement back in May. Today is October 14th and I sill didnt get it. Ive been given different dates on when glass top should arrive and any time the date comes there is always an issue. Bottom line. I WILL NEVER EVER IN MY LIFE BUY Viking, period and advise anybody who is thinking of purchasing any product from this banana company think again.

The Viking refrigerator is good. It told me when there was a power failure
The Viking refrigerator is good. It told me when there was a power failure and that was cool. It said, Power, when I opened it up. Something was also flashing on the screen. The capacity is good, too.
