Amdea’s campaign on energy savings

Amdea, the UK Association of manufacturers of domestic appliances, is educating the home appliance retail sector on how consumers can make savings when using products. For this Know Watt’s What campaign, the Association has shared assets in a ‘trade tool kit.’


The organisation has also shared other useful insider tips from industry experts who know their products inside out, including the money-saving merits of sustainable tech. The trade tool kit offers advice in a set of assets for staff training and exclusive use on retailer and e-tailer websites, in newsletters or on social media platforms.


In addition Amdea’s lifetime savings calculator is designed to illustrate to customers the importance of buying as high on the energy rating scale as they can. It is also available on request as a widget that can be embedded in retailer or e-tailer websites.
