I have been waiting 6 weeks for my washer to get fixed. I can’t seem to get anyone in the warranty customer service department at RC Willey to tell me at what point I will have a working washer. The repair company has been out three times to repair the washer with no success. Prior to this I had the dryer fixed 2 times using the Electrolux first year warranty and one time through the RC Willey Warranty. Each repair takes a minimum of 2 weeks to complete. The washer/dryer set is 2 years old. I have contacted Electrolux and they said I have a parts warranty but will have to pay out of pocket if I don’t use the warranty. What is the point of purchasing a warranty if you never have a working product? I’m trying really hard to understand why it is so hard to complete the repairs on the unit I have. If you sell a warranty you should stand behind it. I will never buy Electrolux again and most certainly will never purchase anything from RC Willey. Extremely disappointed in both companies.

In September 2013 I purchased numerous appliances for a house I was renovating. Among those were an Electrolux washer, dryer and 2 wine refrigerators. The appliances were delivered and installed in February 2014. The dryer steam valve malfunctioned in less than a year flooding the laundry room and damaging the wood floor; that was repaired under warranty. The washer malfunctioned a few months later - out of warranty - when it would not spin clothes dry. That required a service call and parts replacement for $454. About a year later the same problem arose. Another service call, another $454. Recently the problem occurred for the 3rd time. I was told that I needed a new drive belt and that the bearings were bad. The quote to repair was more than the cost of a new washer. I replaced washer and dryer with Maytag versions. The wine refrigerators have fixed shelves so close together that Burgundy style bottles cannot be placed on them without causing the shelf above to come out as well. The only solution is to skip a shelf if you need to store bottles wider than standard. Oh, yes, one of the refrigerators temperature controls no longer works.

Our Family purchased the Front Loading Washer and Dryer, just under five years ago. To be honest we were happy with the set for the first three or so years. Then we started to notice a Gas smell in our Laundry Room. We had our local gas company out a couple times to try to locate the problem. They could not trace the source? (We always were throwing a load in the washer or dryer, as we were leaving to run errands, work, or whatever). So we never could figure it out for the longest time. Come to find out, while the dryer was drying our clothes, Natural Gas was leaking not from the gas lines, connectors, or something that you would normally think! But from actually around the Drum while the clothes were drying. (Thank God we had good ventilation. Who knows what could have happened) After determining the source, we finally had a Electrolux Authorized Service Person to come out. Come to find out it is a $500 Part, that we have to order and then when it finally arrives, they can come back and pay additional fees to pull it out of the tight fitting Laundry Room Upstairs. At that point we were very upset with the Service Man, who then explained how Electrolux has become a company of ill reputation. To date the washer and dryer now sit in the middle of our garage floor, sacrificing our Indoor parking. We just went out and purchased a Brand New LG Front Loading Washer and Dryer Set. We had attempted to try to get some sort of arrangement made with Electrolux, but was met with the same stone walls everyone else here on this board seems to. Pay money, pay money, go away or do not pay anymore money, but go away. I am hoping that there some class action lawsuits filed and then and only then will they be forced to eat their praised product lines.

The light went out in my Electrolux oven, so I called the Sears repairman and he came and said it needed an entire new panel that would cost $1400.00 to fix. So he took out the one good light bulb and charged me $113.00 fee for nothing. Now I cant see anything in my oven and my husband cant work the controls very well. We had purchased a 3 year warranty, but this happened after the warranty expired. We hate the stove. It was and still is very expensive and a piece of junk.

Where to begin. We purchased all of our Electrolux appliances when we built our new home. Fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer. All Electrolux. We have had the induction stove in the past and loved it, so decided we would buy the same brand for all of our appliances. In the first few months of owning them we had problems with everything. The fridge ice maker gets clogged and leaks water. The microwave light stopped working and was replaced just barely under warranty. The new microwave control panel no longer lights up, therefore we cannot see what we are doing. It is now out of warranty and is apparently our problem. The dishwasher. Wow, what a disaster. It’s quiet and that’s about the only good thing going for it. It leaves the dishes wet no matter what cycle we put it on. We have replaced the control panel not once but twice under warranty and the one side still doesn’t work unless we bang really hard on it. It is now also out of warranty and they will not fix it. The washing machine detergent drawer doesn’t drain properly and always has water in it. The dryer is ok but the rubber gasket comes out all the time.We spent over $10,000 on our appliances. Appliances that are supposed to be “high end” but quite frankly, this company not only makes junk, they could care less about customer satisfaction or service. Being a business owner myself, I find this deplorable. I will never buy from Electrolux again and not even 3 years in to owning our appliances, we will be replacing both the dishwasher and the microwave as neither function to get their respective jobs done. Very disappointed. Save your money and buy another brand!

Bought a brand new house that came with brand new Electrolux appliances including the dishwasher. The buttons get pressed inadvertently during loading and unloading causing the air dry button to get pressed which would lock the control panel. After unlocking the control panel, the air dry option would not work until the main fuse was reset in the garage. This happened at least once a week. Called Electrolux and they sent out Callahan Appliance Repair to fix the dishwasher. They sent the owners son out who claimed that the dishwasher buttons were malfunctioning and he replaced them (he did it so quick that I am not sure he actually did). However, he reported to Electrolux that he replaced the buttons on my microwave!!! He did not do any repairs on my microwave!!!!!Well a few months later, same problem and Electrolux sent Premier appliance out twice because Callahan refused to come out to my house since I called them out on the fake microwave repair. After that in December 2014, just before the warranty was up Electrolux started doing their own repairs and sent an Electrolux tech out. He indicated that the control panel was faulty. He ordered the part and replaced it out and Electrolux extended my repair warranty (parts and labor) till June 2015. However, since he replaced that out, the control panel cover will not fit right and there is space between the control panel and cover due to the heat/steam from the dishwashing cycle. The Electrolux tech has come out and replaced the control panel cover but the problem still is not fixed. It keeps separating from the control board. They have now deemed it not repairable and are willing to replace my dishwasher for me but expect me to pay the cost of the delivery and installation. I think that since it is still under a parts and LABOR warranty it should be replaced at no cost to me. They refuse to fix it now!! I feel that they are not standing by their warranty (Labor included). I have always had Whirlpool appliances and will NEVER buy ELECTROLUX appliances!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!! A GOOD COMPANY STANDS BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS! WHIRLPOOL DOES! I do not have a receipt for the purchase because I bought a new construction home.

Bought 20 cuft Frigidaire freezer in Dec. 2020. Did not work correctly after 2 weeks, frosted up. Fan stopped working. Light did not work. Electrolux who now owns frigidaire, sent out service man a week later. After missing with the door the service man said he would have to order a new door and gasket. After several weeks (the freezer had now stopped working) the door and gasket where delivered. The service man never returned or answered my calls. I called electrolux. They sent out a different company. After a few weeks the service man said he would have to order some parts. He did do something with the fan motor. He did order some parts. After several weeks, 3 or 4 I called the service company and they told me that one of the parts was on back order. After 6 months the part came in. A month before I plugged in the freezer and it started working. Still frosted up and no light. The service man returned and after about 30 minutes he said it needed another part. He was not using the part we had waited over 6 months to get. A week later he returned, put some shims in the original door and everything worked right. Not end of story. The new door is still on my sun room floor on a pallet (6ft long). Its now been 8 months, They kept telling me they were going to pick it up. Now they say because its a residence they cant get it pick up, they had it DELIVERED. Now they say its up to me to dispose of it at my expense. I think I am going to try and sell it!

The gas burns do not all reliably ignite when turned on. The heat range is also not adequate with 3 of the 4 burns having too much flame when turned to low setting. The largest burner sometimes does not light for up to 5 attempts and has been explosive when it finally does ignite. This has pretty well been the case from the time we first used this stove. We have two Electrolux dishwashers as we do a lot of entertaining. They do not always thoroughly clean the dishes and we have to do a secondary sink wash which was not the case with previous dishwashers we have owned.Lately our Electrolux refrigerator door light switch has been failing intermittently. All of these Electrolux appliances are now 2 years old. The dishwashers and stove have not been right since they were new. They were all bought as a suite when our house was new. We are dissatisfied with the appliances and the dealer who sold them to us and falsely advertised them to be reliable.

Electrolux refrigerator EW23BC711S SN 4A04802394 never worked properly. We have a service contract **. The freezer never closed tightly and we have experienced frosting from time to time. The ice maker has never worked. It does not maintain the right temperature to keep the ice from melting. Ice turns into solid block and is not usable. All the parts that could be replaced have been replaced as per comments from technician. There is a design flaws and the technicians have repeated that they have many issues with these refrigerators. Under the service contract, a replacement is called for after 3 similar calls. We have asked for a replacement and all Electrolux does is to send more technicians trying to wear us down. Well have no choice but go to court to get satisfaction.

We have an Electrolux microwave in the office and we always use it every day to heat our food. Its been working fine for some time now but lately we noticed that its not heating our food the way it has before. I used to heat my food for 2 minutes only and it is hot enough. But now, I have to heat it many times or up to 10 minutes so that my food will be hot enough. For boiling water, it sometimes takes 20 minutes just to get the right temperature. Im so dissatisfied with this microwave.

Beware of Electrolux/Frigidaire french door freezer/frig. I have had nothing but problems with my unit. From the day it was delivered it has had door sealing issues which lead to me loosing all my food in the freezer twice. The back of the unit has a water leak through the ice maker lines which has frozen up and rusted the ENTIRE back panel of frig/freezer. The temperature control panel goes haywire and change the temperature which leads to food going bad. I contacted Electrolux customer service as well as their corporate office in Sweden. They basically told me they would do nothing to assist in rectifying all my issues. I even had the repair company that was sent out through my extended warranty company (Lowes) tell me the unit needed to be replaced but Electrolux still did nothing. I will never buy another Electrolux/Frigidaire product again!!

From day 1 I have had problems with these machines. I had it serviced several times, the service people contacted Electrolux to discuss issues and new parts were put into the dryer and it seemed to help for a while, but now it isnt drying the clothes without extra cycles. The washer is a total wreck. The drum broke and that had to be replaced. It is so loud when it spins, it sounds like an airplane taking off. Then it was the thermostat heating the water to boiling hot on every single load even delicates. Now the front door wont stay closed. I hate, hate, hate these machines. I was just curious if there had been any recalls on these machines? Would appreciate any info you can give me. Thanks.

Model EIFLW50LIW front load washer. Purchased June 2014. Had required (certified Electrolux) repairman (due to warranty) out several times within the first 12 months. The harness kept shaking loose and tumbler would go off balance and belt popped off. I had to wait a week or two for them to come out and then had to take off from work each time while they fixed it. The last time, they literally had all the parts on my kitchen floor and I asked them why Electrolux just did not send a new machine from the factory. Wasted 5 hours of my day, two repairmen 5 hours and I had to wait for them to come 10 days which meant going over to my mother-in-laws to do laundry. Now 12 months later the belt popped off again but I noticed that the washer was leaking. It revealed severe rubbing on the plastic which was worn through. This unit never made any rubbing noise, clanking and was not out of balance like the issue previously. I called Electrolux and told them that their certified repairmen obviously did something wrong and now it leaks and the harness shakes loose. All they could do for me is give me a break on parts. If your front load washer has belt or harness issues, demand a new one. Repairmen can make Band-Aid fixes only to a poorly manufactured item.

I purchased Electrolux dishwasher and refrigerator in 2010. We have had nothing but problems. We took out a warranty plan (THANK GOD). Our refrigerator did not make ice, and after 4 visits was replaced in 2013. The new refrigerator makes ice but all in the wrong places. We have had repair come out 4 times now to fix it (it should have been replaced, but due to the 1 year warranty with Electrolux, warranty company is stating that this is only the 3rd visit and they will attempt to try and fix the problem they couldnt fix the 1st 3 times. Repairman stated that in order to fix our Refrigerator we would need to thaw it for 21 hours before he can repair (think of all the circuits rusting). Dishwasher has had 3 motor replacements since 2010. I renewed another warranty plan as the motor goes out every year. We are totally disgusted with our Electrolux products.

First it would ice up, now it sets off an alarm saying a power failure has occurred. The repairman charges a fortune. The insurance costs a fortune. Really? A $3,500 refrigerator with this many problems & we have to pay? We are more than angry about this. My cousin bought the same refrigerator & her mother board went out! The part had to be ordered. It cost her over $600! I will throw this out the door before I will pay that much for repairs. I bought this in June of 2009 so 5 years!! Do not by this brand!! Nothing is made to last anymore. We recently purchased an Electrolux Oven. The unit came highly recommend on several sites online. The unit arrived with damage, including a defective control panel. Electrolux was initially very friendly and professed a desire to do whatever was needed to fix the unit. In the end, they admitted that they had no parts for the oven and would have to manufacture some. It would take at least a month. They then discussed replacing the oven, but decided it needed to be repaired at least once. Of course there were no parts to repair it. In the end, they did nothing. So we bought another oven. Our Electrolux Fridge model EI23BC60KS (ELECTROLUX, REF F/S 24D, FRENCH DOOR, F/D, 23CUFT, 24D, HDN HNG, I/M) started overheating about 9 months post purchase. Since then weve taken at least 12 days off work so far to have service technicians come check it out (6x now) and then waited approx a week to get a second visit where they replaced a different part each time or turned it off. Worst is that every time, weve lost hundreds of dollars in food and we have a baby so had to purchase a mini fridge to at least keep his basic items like milk cool. When I reached out to Electrolux Canada Head office the last time, they indicated they couldnt do anything other than paying for parts given it was the same issue identified during warranty period because I didnt purchase replacement insurance (this was two days post warranty period). Again the same thing happened so this will be our 7th call to a servicing company. This is the second set of Electrolux appliances (we had them in our old house as well and I recommended them to friends and family given no their sleek design). Its so not worth it though unless youre ok having a fridge that doesnt actually function. This has been the worst product and customer support experience Ive had in my life. I paid a lot of money for a fridge that didnt even last 9 months, lost hundreds of dollars in food, taken several days off work to try and resolve and still no solution or support from Electrolux whatsoever.

On Nov 21st, 2018 I called to schedule an appointment for my washer to be repaired and was given one right away, although I had told the representative that it would probably need a new part, the very same day I get a call from a technician saying he would come out to look at the washer which he did on Nov 23rd. On the day of the appointment he shows up looks at the appliance and within 5 minutes tells he would need to order the part and come back and that it would take about a week or so. So Ill be without a washer until then, so I called the warranty company back and explain to the corporate supervisor that a week or so is way too long so she reassures me that this will be priority and that she will put a rush on things. It is now 3 weeks later and Ive not heard back from either party, so I call the tech to ask for an update, he tells me the company took him off my case and knows nothing about the situation. I call the company back to find out what the hell happened and no one knows. Also the part was never ordered, ridiculous! So Ive been back and forth with this company. 4 supervisors later, one of them orders the part and assures me this will be given utmost priority, I get an email confirming the part is been ordered and that I should receive within a couple of days, and that a new tech company will be here on the 11th of Dec 2018 to install it. 2 days later I get an email stating that the part has been cancelled without any explanation, again no call from the warranty company, I call them to find out that again no one knows what happened no one has an explanation, at this point Im over it!! If you are reading this? DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Almost from the beginning this refrigerator has had problems. The ice maker continues to be non functioning as well as the interior lights. Customer Service is good at one thing saying Im sorry. I have put more money into this appliance than any other I have purchased over the past 30+ years. I purchased a new switch hoping that would resolve the lights not working, however it looks as though the board is defective. In order to fix the ice maker and the circuit board, we are looking at approximately 1500.00.At this point, I am better off to purchase another refrigerator, obviously not this brand. You spend more money on quality products and this has been one time where this wasnt the case. If you look at all the reviews, Electrolux obviously needs to go back to the drawing board because consumers arent happy and the issues seem to be the same i.e. ice maker. This refrigerator is only about 6 years old and when you spend 3500 you expect it be in good working condition for many years to come.

Contacted Electrolux over a week ago when my ice maker on the fridge quit working. They called me back in 3 days and stated I would be getting a call from a service tech within the next couple of days to schedule an appt. Never received a call. I called Electrolux to advise and they stated they again would contact the service tech. I received a call from the service tech stating they do not service Electrolux contracts, and they have no idea why Electrolux would contact them as they only service Frigidaire contracts. I called Electrolux and advised of my conversation with the service tech. An Electrolux mgr. stated he would elevate my service request and I should hear from someone in 2-3 days. I asked, then how many days before I would be able to get service. He basically gave me the impression I should be glad that he elevated my request. I gave it some thought, looked in my yellow pages and noted tons of refrigerator repairmen. Called Electrolux back and asked if I should find someone to service my refrigerator would they reimburse? They said I would need to pay the service tech, submit the bill to Electrolux and they would determine if they would reimburse, because the repairmen in the area were not designated Frigidaire repairmen. So, here I sit, just thinking what an absolute nightmare and waste of time and money dealing with what appears to be a worthless Electrolux warranty.

We purchased an Electrolux French Door refrigerator, Dual In-Wall Oven, Overhead Microwave, and Dishwasher. The first to fail was the refrigerator, which could not make ice. Then the dual in-wall oven board failed, then the Microwave display, and finally the dishwasher which wouldnt clean dishes properly or dry them. The refrigerator ice maker failed twice more, the microwave a second time (we replaced it with GE), and the dishwasher wont clean and dry today despite using the highest clean and heated dry settings. Some of these were fixed under warranty, others under an extended warranty.I will never buy another Electrolux or Frigidaire product, and every friend, relative, neighbor, and coworker has heard my story. If Im in the appliance department of a store that carries Electrolux or Frigidaire, I watch for anyone seeming interested in the brand and warn them, urging them to look at reviews and complaints online. I will continue to do this anytime and anywhere I find anyone considering new appliances. Ive had good luck all my life with products and am typically a fairly positive person, but this was the most egregious experience. I guess Ive become a reverse evangelist for the brand.

I purchased an Electrolux Wave Touch Standard Depth model EW28BS85KS5 a little over two years ago. After less than a year, the Temp Perfect Drawer seized up and could not be opened. I worked with Electrolux rep to get the repair and all was covered under warranty. Either while I was waiting for repair or shortly after the repair was completed, I was contacted by and ESA representative and offered, for a price of course, an extended warranty. The representative was fully aware of the issues I had with the drawer. Since my confidence level in product quality was now low and believing the extended warranty was as comprehensive as the one year warranty, I purchased the extension. It has been a little more than a year and the drawer has the exact same issue. I contacted ESA to advise them of the recurrence. They advised me that the warranty does not cover the drawer. Only functioning parts of the refrigerator that maintain the cool temperature, the ice maker and the water dispenser. I have tried working with them, but to no success. I do not appreciate a product attribute that is designed to last only a year. I hesitate to spend the money to have it repaired again because I fear next year I will have to have it repaired again. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

We bought this beautiful refrigerator last year. My husband was taken with the lighting and didnt mind that it was a bit pricey ($3,500). The problem is... it doesnt make enough ice. The ice maker itself is in the top refrigerator area, its a little 7 x 7 box so if I fill a glass with ice, it empties it and it takes 90 minutes to put out another tray. I empty it into zip lock bags during the day as a back up because my husband goes insane every night when he tries to get ice and its empty. We had the ice maker replaced, and the filters changed. Its just too small to keep up. It would be great if you purchase a separate under counter ice maker (at $2,000). We thought because it was an Electrolux, it would be great, we were wrong. Fast forward 30 days into our new home and we are already contacting Electrolux to have our new double oven serviced. 1) Temperature settings are not accurate as things cook at different rates every time we use it (Burns one time and then the next it will take twice as long as prescribed). 2) The fan on the top quiet oven sounds more like a jet engine spooling up for operation. Both issues were addressed with Electrolux. First service call - One repair technician shows up and then proceeds to inform us that it is a two person job, thus the service call has to be rescheduled. Next call, technician diagnoses the issues and orders parts. Parts arrive about a week later...another week goes by when I find out from my wife that they did not set up a follow-on appointment, nor have they called to set one up since the parts have arrived. That was the first time that I learned that Electrolux does not even attempt to go the extra mile for their customers. I called Electrolux and set my follow-on appointment...being spoiled by other companies with exceptional customer service cost me weeks in turn around repair time. Follow-on appointment happens and the parts are replaced and supposedly repaired. Oven still spooled up as if the generators were getting ready to come online and bring the aircraft to life and the temperatures settings were still unreliable. Over the course of my first 10 months, we dealt with this issue multiple times until we hit our breaking point as each time of dealing with the oven repair was mentally and emotionally exhausting with Electrolux. (The process is not smooth...I would say broken, but I dont think it has ever been a well established process.) After the last unsuccessful repair, I contacted Electrolux customer service number to request a replacement oven...the customer service agent pushed back stating that the part would have to be serviced again before replacing. We then had a heart to heart discussion about how we were not going to be inconvenienced for another repair attempt when all of the previous attempts failed. Our request was sent to the Back Office People for review for replacement for which he stated we would receive a determination via email in a few days. Fast forward again a few weeks...I get an email from some random delivery company stating that they were shipping an Electrolux oven to my address. Yes, that is how I found out that Electrolux had decided to replace my oven...in case you are not aware by now, never expect Electrolux North America to ever go the extra mile - aka email you to let you know they are replacing your busted oven. In November 2017, a delivery driver just appeared at our house without a pre-notification and proceeded to deliver our replacement oven. He then proceeded to let our new oven come crashing down on our driveway in front of my wife, who was luckily outside watering our grass at the time. My wife was astonished that the delivery driver continued to deliver the oven...and when approached, he stated that had she not been out there, he would have dropped it in the garage and left without ever saying a word. The questionable ethics of the deliver driver spooked my wife into fear that denying the delivery would only mean that shady driver takes oven away only for same company to bring same oven back a few days later. Since November 22nd, 2017 - we have been dealing with Electrolux North America to come to an acceptable solution to have a one for one swap completed. As sadly as it may sound, I have truly learned that Electrolux North America (especially North American Liaison Rita **) could not care less about the customer and their overall experience. All attempts to have the situation addressed with a means that would put their customer at ease...have fallen on deaf ears. Electrolux customer service, as well as Rita **, will only address a rigid black and white approach of how situations are to be addressed according to a policy and will never apply the Reasonable Person Theory, which would require them to listen to their customers and understand their concerns with at least the slightest bit of compassion. Recommendation - Do not buy Electrolux appliances or appliances of any of their sister companies. If you need any repairs, you will surely regret ever making that purchase...that I can guarantee.

Shortly after purchasing the $4K refrigerator from a local company, the ice maker stopped working. After talking to another appliance shop, I was informed that the other store would not sell the model sold to us since there was a known defect with a control board. Sure enough after contacting the store we purchased the fridge from and Electrolux, a technician serviced our unit but warned us with all the electronics now in these machines, there would increasing problems. We have a Kenmore 22 in the garage that has worked flawlessly since 1986. So two months ago I get a glass of crushed ice for a drink, and just before downing the last bit of the drink, I spy a large screw at the bottom of the glass. Thankfully I saw it before swallowing it. It came from the front control arm of the ice maker and supports a plastic bushing which acts as a support so the ice maker water tray can go through its cycle of accepting water, passing back to the steel chilled protrusions that dip into the ice, heating up and then tilting to release the ice into the ice container below which feeds to the front dispenser. I re-installed the screw, but the ice maker refuses to completely cycle up the right side of the upper department and stops just shy of the little red switch and simply churns in an endless motor spasm. Does anyone know if there are diagnostic tests you can initiate from the front control panel to actually see where the problem is with the door open?

We purchased all new Electrolux appliances for our kitchen 2 1/2 years ago. Every appliance has been repaired since purchase, one replaced and two appliances are now on their 3rd or 4th repair (these are major repairs not minor). Electrolux has been making exceptions and paying for the repairs after hours spent documenting repeated problems and pleading with them to make good on their faulty products. Our range was rebuilt last week and tonight our dishwasher broke again, same computer panel as the last 3 times.I called Electrolux again, asked for assistance and they said Id have to call back tomorrow and speak with a supervisor, when I asked if a supervisor could please call me after they review our file they hung up on me... I couldnt believe it. I went on their website to contact them and their contact form is also down, the same experience each and every time Ive tried to contact them via email. This is the absolute worse experience weve ever come across.

My Stove has been broken since Thanksgivings and I was suppose to get a new stove or a settlement according to my contract. I have made numerous call and have been given the complete runaround, such-as They sent the paperwork to the wrong department. The technician from Fleet appliance didnt contact the right department so that you could get a new appliance. We have to resubmit the paperwork that could take up to 7 to 10 business day. Well it is Christmas now and my family still doesnt have a working stove. I will have to contact my attorney because Electrolux is in clear violation of their contract. I will never buy another Frigidaire product or take an extended warranty with Electrolux. William **.

Electrolux now says after 3 repair trips that the unit works the way its supposed to. Says the turntable is not supposed to turn off for convec. They will not discuss replacing it with a model that the turntable turns off. In other words, Im screwed! I will never buy another Electrolux item again.

I will never buy Electrolux products again.

We purchased all Electrolux when we built our new home in 2009. Oven Control Board went out. I bought and replaced part myself. Dishwasher does not clean well. Drain Pump went out. Leak detector cut the unit off a year later. I repaired myself. A clamp on the main pump hose was not tight enough. Microwave repaired twice. Door switch bad. Then door switch mount came lose.Side by Side Fridge control panel on front replaced, segments of temperature went out. Poor Temperature distribution in fridge, get 42 degrees on top shelf while bottom shelf is 37. Set it any colder and back of both drawers freeze things. So far vent fan hood, gas cooktop, and washer and dryer are OK. Thankfully I have a great dealer with great repair people, ** in Florence. I have purchase receipt for all of these, dated 11-28-08.

Refrigerator Model # EI23CS55GSI Side by Side w/ indoor ice and water manufactured June 2008, installed in 2009, malfunctioning since 2012! Absolutely the WORSE appliance purchase ever. Electronic control panel went out once while in warranty, replaced, 14 months later breaks again, now it doesnt even work, all I get is a readout of C for the freezer and CE for refrigerator. Still makes ice, but no water dispensing, lights work rarely, no way to manually regulate temperatures, all the drawer slider mechanisms - which were made out of very cheap plastic parts have come undone, or just broke. Called an appliance repair company and cost of new control panel is nearly $1000.00 --- absolutely ridiculous!!! This thing has had issues since first installed. Microwave works but LED readout/clock/light do not work at all. All control panel buttons on dishwasher have faded and are coming loose, and this is all in a condo I use about 3 times per week only and I am just one person. So far, (knock on wood) the gas range has worked properly. Electrolux has horrible customer service, factory authorized techs hate these products and readily admit they would never purchase them for their families, nor recommend them. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH ELECTROLUX/ELECTROLUX ICON PRODUCTS!!!

A&E Factory Service (Warranty) are worthless. Been 6 weeks already and over $50 in Laundromat costs to dry clothes. I will NEVER Recommend an Electrolux appliance to anyone. Our experience is very much in line with previous reviews from other people. We purchased a refrigerator for a tenants apartment in February. It broke in June and the run-around started. 5 on-site calls from technicians and the problem couldnt be solved. We meanwhile purchased another unit from a different manufacturer and Electrolux insist to send another technician. Never seen anything like this ever before (we probably purchased 50 or 60 refrigerators over the past years). The time wasted by us, the tenant, customer service staff and money for the technicians could have bought 5 top of the line appliances... Never again and I will take Electrolux to court. No way that we spend another minute to entertain another service call. We want our money back.

Double Electrolux oven - Purchased this oven in 2006, almost immediately had outage problems. Every time I use them, and then clean them, they short-out. The fix was to install new motherboard, expensive computer problem. Electrolux says, Just dont use the self-clean feature. Ridiculous! I paid for that with the assumption it will work... Their warranty says that with 3 repairs for the same thing they will replace them. Ive had more than 12 service calls for the same problem but no replacement. I tried getting the number or address of one of the EXECS, they will not give it to me. I see today, they have won an award for the best oven design of the year 2015. What a joke. We remodeled our kitchen and I wanted all of the appliances to have a high end look but at a reasonable price. We purchased the Electrolux ICON package of appliances... Double Ovens, Dishwasher, French Door Refrigerator with Freezer on the bottom. They look great but beware! These are the worst appliances weve ever owned. After 3 months of use I turned on the cleaning mode, following directions exactly, for the top oven of the double ovens. The glass door shattered during the cleaning process. It took 2 months to get a replacement door. However, now grease has splattered between the glass panels and you cant get them clean. The dishwasher is a worthless piece of junk. We literally have to wash the dishes before we load them. I should have gone back to ASKO. Weve had countless problems with the ice-maker on the refrigerator. Its broken more than it works. We will never purchase another Electrolux appliance, ever.

I purchased a brand new Zanussi, European brand from Electrolux, washing machine in May 2011. It was not shipped through to Brazil. When we arrived and tried to use it for first time in November 2011, the machine would not even start. I contacted Electrolux in London and got referred to Brazilian side. I contacted Brazilian side and got referred to local service company. I contacted the service company, who immediately responded by sending a repairman the next day. The repairmen could not resolve the problem and promised to contact us back shortly once he obtains the diagrams for this particular type. I never heard back from him.I called again in January and got a new repairman. This one confirmed that two parts are faulty and must be obtained by them. I never heard back from him again. I contacted again in February, in March and in April. Nothing is being done. In fact, each time we call, the registration number they gave us the last time is incorrect, so we are told.So not only does Electrolux honor its warranty obligations, they do not deliver on promises. They also try to lie and cancel out warranty policies by providing incorrect record numbers. I bet that when we call end of April, when our warranty nearly runs out, they will not be able to assist as our warranty has run out. What a disgrace of a company!

When all the customers will read this, maybe they will get the clear idea what kind of service they are providing to their customers. I want people should think before choosing the electrolux product. I made a complaint for my semi automatic washing machine but these guys are least bothered. Daily I am following them but they are giving non-sense reason for not doing their job. Not only this, even the Area Service Manager assured me that it will rectified by Monday, till now there is no call from him and if I call his number he is also not picking up the call and then it becomes not reachable. I request the social media of the company to address this issue to the correct dept, so that at least due to some persons the Electrolux as a company should not suffer. Thanks.

Terrible customer service, I purchased double electrical range on April 22 2017, for almost 2,00.00, and my issues started. In beginning of September I notice that cooktop of range is starting melt, I called Electrolux, I was asked to send them a pictures, on September 24, 2017 so I did, once get a message that their side is not working, then second time, third time, all the same their site did not worked. Ok something wrong with email or their site. So on October 4, 2017 I decided to sent a pictures again, the same story try few times, the same reply site is not working. I contacted the local technician as per Frigidaire representative advise. Technician came in, made a picture and assure me within few days that he sent it to Frigidaire. Nothing happening. On October 24 again spoke to Frigidaire representative Quintavia and again sent the pictures, as she said that nothing is on my file. Nothing happening.Again on November 22 I spoke to Mona and again I heard that nothing is on my file, so again I resend the pictures, this time Mona called me back and confirm that she received the pictures and finally I got a case number. I was informed that the technician will have all the information from now. I spoke to technician and he told me that the new cooktop has been order and he is just waiting for its exchange, this was November 26, 2017. On December 5, technician has been still waiting for the part, on December 28 I called the Frigidaire with question when I can expect the repair to happened, and surprise I heard that nothing has been approved or ordered, and the Corporate supervisor told me that nothing can be done until January 3 2018. No apologies, no explanation, they did all properly and it seems to be my fault that I bought that range and that it is faulty. This is the worst customer service in my long life. It cost me two thousand and hours on the phone, a lot of stress. Frigidaire products are going down with quality, I am not sure, as I have a old fridge and this is one of the best, but for sure their customer service is the worst that happened to me, no one care, I felt like I was intrusion for staff and how dare I complain. If you can avoid please save yourself a lot of stress and time, spend a money with different company and have a less stress.

We purchased approx. $10K worth of new Electrolux appliances for our new home. The old home was blown away last year by a tornado. Purchased dishwasher, electric double ovens, electric cooktop, microwave oven, side by side refrigerator, and front load washer & dryer. All were top of the line that Electrolux offers. Dishwasher malfunctioned on first use. Sent out an error code #3. Was unable to contact Electrolux at the customer support site, so the wife called during working hours. The person she spoke with said turn it off at the breaker. That got the error code to go away, but it leaks out the front door now.Washer would not complete its cycle on its 1st, 2nd, & 3rd attempt. We got a service man scheduled to come out. Still having to do laundry at our daughters house. Tried to register my products online for over an hour, but their site would not complete the transactions. I find this product and customer support to be of poor quality even though it is marketed as top of the line. I would strongly recommend anyone to reconsider before buying Electrolux products. Oh yes, I tried to take their customer survey online, but that would not function either. Needless to say, I will never ever buy an Electrolux product again.

My husband and I are very disappointed with our Electrolux French Door Refrigerator! We purchased one in 2009 and paid $4,300. I thought with that price, it should last at least 10 years. Well, after a year and a half, the ice maker broke. Good thing we purchased the extended service warranty for 5 years. Repair man came and replaced the ice maker. Couple months later, it broke again. Called again. Broke again, and again. So finally in 2012, Electrolux gave us a new refrigerator (same model) for a replacement. It worked until late 2015 when the ice maker started acting up again. Water started leaking behind the ice maker, on the back wall of the fridge. And after a while, the water freezes up. I knew my warranty is over so I thought Id live with it. I always had a towel where it leaks so it wont get all over the fridge. Its terrible and embarrassing. Everyone would ask me why I have a frozen towel in the fridge and I would always reply DO NOT BUY ELECTROLUX. About 2 weeks ago, a piece of hard plastic and styrofoam came out of the ice maker while I was dispensing ice. Like, what the heck is it and where did it come from?? Then last Friday, the fridge totally died! I called every technician in town but unfortunately, nobody couldnt make it until today, Monday (weve had no fridge for 4 days!) Diagnosis: the control board is burnt out and it melted! Cost of repair: $522! This expensive fridge is a piece of junk! I am pissed and Im trying to get Electrolux pay for at least the parts. Lets see what happens next. But I will never buy Electrolux again.

We have an entire kitchen outfitted with their top line appliances since May 2010. The cooktop hybrid no longer works and requires a $800.00 repair, the wall oven is missing screws, the dishwasher was replaced in the first 6 months and has had 3 repairs since. Today it is Jan 2016 and my dishwasher is broken. Angry yes. I will never buy another Frigidaire owned company product. I owned GE previously and never has an issue. Electrolux avoids their repairs by allowing third parties fix things they are not trained for. Third party repairs do not remove a broken cooktop. The homeowner must do it in order for them to repair. It is insane to think the repairman will charge you money just to write notes, not touch the cooktop and expect you to pay $200.00 for walking in your door. I am so disgusted with Electrolux. I now must shop for a new cooktop. I paid $2500.00 in 2010. I am going back to a gas stove because It is more reliable than any fancy oven that has a digital electric panel that malfunctions.

I had a high end Electrolux dishwasher (5 years old) that needed a new pump. I purchased one through Electrolux that took 20 days to arrive and it arrived with the connecting piece broken in 2 pieces. When I called to report this, I was told I needed a service person to come to my house to verify riptide was actually broken (it was against their policy to either take my word or to accept pictures from me). The service company to whom they had referred me sent 5 faxes to document the damage - they had to send 5 times because Electrolux could not find the incoming fax (they said they get hundreds - great system) or they needed more info. By now I was getting extremely close to Thanksgiving - desperate for a dishwasher. They refused to send a new pump overnight so I accepted they would send by 2 days and rescheduled repair for a Saturday. Then on Friday the assistant to the CEO (!) told me she canceled my shipment because the documentation on the damaged pump had discrepancies. She accused me of faking the paperwork and also accused the service company of fraud. What possible motive would we have for faking that I received a broken pump?? After an amazingly insulting and frustrating experience with Electrolux I went and bought a new Kitchenaid dish easier today. WOULD NEVER CONSIDER ANOTHER ELECTROLUX PRODUCT.

We bought a side by side refrigerator in the summer of 2012. Upon delivery and install the ice maker was spewing out ice - crushed and regular ice all over my kitchen floor. We had to call a service person in to fix the problem. We had to call back a week or so later to have the machine fixed again for the same problem. At this time we realized we may have bought a lemon and added an extended warranty. I called for a part that had broken inside of the door at which time Electrolux said that they did not supply a warranty for that item. I read that they use refurbished parts also to repair their appliances. Someone should have told me this or I wouldnt have bought the warranty. The service call last year was just under $100.00 which I refused to pay since we had just bought it.I requested a refund from my extended warranty that went into effect August 7, 2013. I paid $185.90 and will only get $122.74 minus the $18.59 administer fees bringing the total refund to $104.14. This is crazy! I wish I had done research on this product, but didnt have the time. I will go to Lowes and let the service reps. know that this is a lousy brand and dont recommend it to their clients as well as writing a complaint on Lowes website.

I wish I would have found this website before purchasing the refrigerator 4 years ago. I will never buy another Electrolux product again. The ice maker has never fully worked since we got the refrigerator. Contacted Electrolux when it was still under warranty. The service company came out. Said it was the control board and that they would replace it. Never heard from them again and got busy. Finally the ice maker stopped working altogether about a year ago. I think the biggest problem with these appliances is that they are not made in the USA. This refrigerator was made in Mexico -- you get what you pay for -- low wages, low quality. When are we going to learn? Cheap labor is never better. As with Electrolux they have lost and will lose a lot of business due to these problems. Did they really save a lot of money seeking out a lower labor cost country? I will make sure my next appliance is made in the USA.

Purchased an Electrolux refrigerator in June of 2011. I did not bother with an extended warranty. From my past experiences with refrigerators, I figured that I should at least get about 7 or 8 years of use at the minimum.Three months later, while opening the refrigerator, the handle came off in my hand. It actually broke where it connected to the screws on the door. At the time, I had other issues that were deemed more important, so I did not bother with having it repaired. The following summer, I noticed that on very hot or humid days, the refrigerator did not get as cold as it normally functioned. That would last for several days and then miraculously it would return to the normal set temperature. This continued to occur this summer also. From day one, I always said that the refrigerator was loud. Everyday, especially at night when things are quieter, I hear an intermittent popping sound. It is 1:00 AM in the morning, and I just read several reviews on this site. When I woke up yesterday morning, the refrigerator, as well as, my food, were warm. I thought, how in the world can a 2-year-old refrigerator stop working. Granted, that I only paid around 500 plus dollars, I felt I was buying a reliable product since it was a sub-brand of Frigidaire which was the name of my washer/dryer set that I had for 13 years without any problems. At this very moment, the refrigerator is making a very loud humming sound. Earlier I had to transfer food to my deep freezer. I am not happy. I decided to find out if there were any complaints on this product (hindsight) to determine what my next step would be. Well, I have decided to purchase another refrigerator (a well known name brand) and not even bother with a repair service due to the numerous complaints I have read. I refuse to take out the time to experience repeated repairs! Sales representatives will say anything to get you to buy a product. If I have learned anything, it is to research before hand when purchasing sub-brand appliances, regardless of the manufacturer. I will not own another ELECTROLUX product EVER!

I have a 3 month old refrigerator and it is not cooling. It is now three weeks without a refrigerator and no end in sight. They have no one that can service the unit and wont replace it. They are now on the second service person and he cant look at it for 20 days. I expect to be without a refrigerator for at least 3 months, this is just not fair. They should have just replaced it. Lets see. A 12 month warranty but the unit doesnt work for at least 3 months and I have renters that have no refrigerator. I will now not buy from Home Depot either because they wont exchange and they dont repair. I will next time buy from a company that sells and repairs what they sell.

I wish I had read these reviews first! Seems as if its a common problem. BRAND new washer and dryer. 2.5 months of use and it quits. Call Electrolux and they send a tech. Its non repairable! As a few others have said... POOR construction. The wheel isnt attached properly, shreds the belt, digs into and eventually punctures the drum... which leads to leaking. The leaking of course wasnt noticed until the washing machine QUIT working all together, after 2 months.... and now we have mold on our brand new floor and baseboards. And do you think Electrolux cares? NO. They refuse to refund my money for their crap product. They dont have a buy back program. Ive missed time from work, had to pay to go to a laundromat, and have now been a full month without a machine... I paid over $1600 for this set, plus time off work and money for a laundromat and they dont care. All I get is Sorry to hear that but we dont have a buy back program. BUYER BEWARE!

I am writing about Electrolux EW28BS85KS5 French Door Refrigerator. This refrigerator was a replacement for the Generation One that had the terrible problem with the ice maker and was subject of a Class Action Lawsuit. My was replaced before the Class Action even started. After many many stressful conversations with Electrolux, they made me buy an extended warranty after the fact and replaced my refrigerator with this is one. I have had this fridge now about 5 and a half years. This fridge started to have temperature problems in June of this year. The temperature of the freezer and also the fridge would go haywire. It would go up then down a bit, then up to high with the alarm sounding, then down again etc. This refrigerator also developed a rusty spot on the back of the fridge where the ice maker is. Now, the rusty spot has a thick ice on it on the outside.I ended up calling out the repair company listed on Electroluxs website. They told me that the defroster is broken and needs to be replaced ($400 for the par). They also informed me that the rusty spot with the ice forming on it cannot be fixed. There is no solution for that. They called Electrolux many times and it is not fixable. They told me that I am better off getting another refrigerator. This will leak in the back, damage my hardwood floor and also cause mold to grow. Of course, I contacted Electrolux and they are no help. Nothing can be done. They cannot and will not do anything for me. I am out of the initial investment of $4K.I am shopping for another fridge. Of course, I am not happy that I have to spend $$$ on a fridge when I only had the replacement fridge for a short period of time. In my opinion 5 and half years should not be the lifespan of a fridge. Of course, I am frustrated, wouldnt you be? I am contacting the AGs office again to file a complaint. If Electrolux had the willingness to stand behind their products, it would eliminate so many customer complaints. But, they do not care of good customer service and repeat business. Too bad for them.

We purchased the newest gas dryer from them. It arrived damaged. We began this hell of trying to get a working unit in June 7. Everything is in business days ranging from a fictional 3-5 to 7-10. There are no customer service managers or supervisors who will call you back, to get a reply from them is 1-2 business days and the excuse is so and such was going to call you tomorrow. On June 18 we were told a unit would be delivered and installed for us. We were told they were en route to the warehouse and we would have one as soon as they got to the warehouse. It’s July 10, still nothing, never a call from anyone and on July 9th we were told they had a unit but refused to ship it to us for fear of damage to the unit. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. The original unit came in a undamaged box, it was next to the washer and the washer was in mint condition. The Dryer on the other hand was boxed and shipped damaged. Its box had no signs of stress, no holes or openings and showed no signs of rebounding. The packaging material inside the box was also in perfect condition. Nothing was compressed or broken as if to show signs of absorbing a fall. The machine is gouged and the top of the machine is not attached to the body of the unit. Someone at Electrolux allowed the unit to ship out broken. We have been trying to get resolve for over a month and no one seems to care at Electrolux. There is zero sense of urgency and zero words or apology or empathy. This is one of the worst if not the worst experience of buying a product, I absolutely regret buying these appliances from them.

We first bought an Electrolux Icon French style (2 doors, bottom freezer) 6 years ago as part of a kitchen reno, along with matching wall ovens. From day one the ice maker had nothing but problems - service calls every few months. They did do 1 repair after the warranty expired. The next time I called they offered to replace the fridge at cost, and we agreed as we wanted to maintain the look of the kitchen. The ice maker on this unit worked, but after about a year the unit appeared to lose its mind and would randomly give high temp warnings, and then be OK for a day or two. Service tech diagnosed ice build up in the freezer and evaporator and recommended a full defrost. We did that and it was OK for few months, then happened again. This repeated 6 months later, and now again for the 3rd time. This time I pulled out the usin and noticed a huge patch of rust on the stainless steel back plate right behind the ice maker. So, looks like the ice maker has an internal leak, which builds up as ice inside the unit and eventually screws with the temp sensors. The door gasket is also now disintegrating. Bottom line - these people do not know how to design or build reliable refrigerators. They are quite literally junk. The ovens have been great though :).

We purchased this model (EI23BC35KS4) about 8 months ago and have had no issues with it. I think that unfortunately many of the other reviews here are referring to older models. This particular model has LED lighting, which I assume must have solved the issue of the incandescent bulbs 'blistering' the plastic because ours doesn't seem to have that problem. I also think the design of the upper ice machine has been improved because ours works just fine. However a few seconds after you dispense ice, there is a flap that must close to keep the ice maker cool, and if you open the door too soon the machine will beep until you close the door and the flap can shut. It is a very minor annoyance. Overall we are very happy with our purchase and would recommend this fridge, and would also recommend that people stop expressing their hatred of other models through reviews of this model!

French door refrigerator - This has been the worst appliance ever created.
French door refrigerator - This has been the worst appliance ever created. We purchased in the late Fall of 2011. Very soon the plastic grey trim popped off the freezer door for no reason. Just two adults live here so no wear and tear. Not happy about it but taped it on until finally giving up on tape holding. Customer services response was lame and we were not willing to pay for their ridiculous fix so I would have to live with this aesthetic. Then we began having issue after issue with the ice maker. Grinding noise, not making ice or it all freezing together -- on and on and it never got fixed. Repairman has been out 3 times in past 2 months. He was back yesterday and we pulled the fridge from the wall and we were horrified. The back had a big block of ice protruding. It had sweated and rusted out the entire back panel. The insulation was shot. This is nothing more than a boat anchor now. We paid a lot of $ for an appliance that didnt even last 6 years and weve hated it since about a month after purchasing. We have lawyers in the family and were planning on initiating a class action suit. I would use an Igloo cooler before I would ever consider an Electrolux refrigerator or anything! They dont stand by their product and they shouldnt be allowed to get away with these continued issues. The fridge should be banned from further production and the company should close its door if they cannot remediate the problems and compensate customers for these losses. We now have to buy a new fridge after spending approx $4000 less than 6 years ago.

I was heating up food in the microwave and a spark started to flare in the corner where the metal rack was held up by the plastic hook. It was a good thing that I didnt walk away from the microwave or who knows how large the fire could have gotten. I called the customer care number and because I didnt buy the extended warranty, they could not help me but provide me repair numbers which I would have to pay for. I asked if this kind of thing happens a lot with their products but they said no. Has anyone out there experienced the same thing I have? My appliance model is EI30MH55GSA.I just feel they should cover something like this because its a quality assurance problem that could definitely have led to a bigger problem (house/electrical fire). Why would I pay to repair this microwave when my confidence in their product has definitely wavered? I would prefer to put my money in a different manufacturer and have peace of mind. I regret buying all of their different appliances because most of them have a problem (oven time display doesnt work and refrigerator ice dispenser spits and continue to serve ice after release). We were really excited to buy their products when we bought our house believing we would receive a high end product associated with their costs, but instead we are greatly disappointed with what it really is. Beware and be wise. Do not purchase Electrolux!!!

I was so happy to finally see my new appliances in action! To my dismay the oven did not work. I immediately called Electrolux and they referred me to several appliance repair companies for a warranty repair. Just like all of the other complaints that I have seen on this site, a month later, 2 technicians and several replacement parts my oven still does not work. I called Electrolux to ask for a replacement since the oven was still not working. I was told they will not replace the oven, that it has to be fixed. How can it be fixed, it has never worked! I now have a call into the company where we purchased the oven. Hopefully they will be able to do something to get us a working dryer. I do not recommend this brand. My very expensive ($1,400) Electrolux dishwasher model EWDW6505 just cost another $311 to fix. This is after replacing the water pump approximately a year ago. It cost me $75 (trip charge) for a serviceman to come over and make a phone call to Electrolux tech support for the error code which resulted in a needed repair kit. I had purchased an Electrolux washer and dryer in July of 2015. I spent over $2200 on the pair. I noticed almost immediately that the washer wasnt completely spinning the clothes dry. I assumed it was because it was too full. I lightened the loads and the problem still continued. I often had to rewash the loads 4 and 5 times to get it to spin dry. I had family come in to stay with me a few months after I purchased it. They used the machine and told me to call the company and have someone come out. I did and when the service guy came out he had told me that the entire inside of the machine needed to be replaced because a bolt came loose and pushed the drum forward. He informed me that the was a lemon and that I should get a replacement machine. He also said this would take 2 weeks and 2 guys and a 5 hr job. 2 weeks without a washing machine was unheard of in my world. I immediately called Electrolux and spoke to a manager. They told me all they could do is fix it and pay for the repairs. They told me to talk to Sears where I bought it to see if they would do anything for me. Well Sears did nothing!!! Literally said its not our problem and they dont deal with Electrolux. Then why the Hell do you sell it??? Never shop there... Ever. Anyway the repairs guy came out 12 days later. Fixed it and 1 week later I called to report the same issue. He retired to tell me its just the way this machine is. Nothing else he could do. Again, 2 weeks later the machine stopped spinning all together. They returned and said the bolt was loose again. This time they glued it. 7 months old and the machine is being glued. Well I said, pretty bad for a new machine to be treated like a 10 year old one. I called Electrolux and told them this was the 3 call on the same problem and this should be treated as a lemon and the machine should be replaced. The woman agreed completely and said she would get on the problem. Well never heard from her again. My husband called, talked to the manager and he said now that its glued it should be fine. I would have to wait for it to break again before any action takes place. Ive been out of laundry for a total of a month and for some reason they think thats ok!! I dont!!! Never ever purchase from this ** company. Save your money please.

I spent around $2000 for what I thought was a top of the line Electrolux washer and dryer from Home Depot. After use for a couple of weeks the dryer started leaking water from the steam valve. I would dry my clothes only to find a pool of water in the dryer and wet clothes. I called Home Depot and they told me to call Electrolux. Electrolux sent a service person and they did nothing to fix the problem. The person blamed the installer stating it was an installation issue. I spent hours on the phone, holding, getting transferred and hung up on with Home Depot and the Install company. After another two weeks the installer came back to check the install. At this point the water was leaking from the dryer back to the floor pan and water was collecting in large amounts on the floor plan. The installer found no issues and showed me where the water was coming from the back of the dryer. Back to the phones again with Electrolux. Another week and the service company came back. They replaced the steam valve and said it was likely not closing. Afterwards I used the dryer again and the water was not leaking but the dryer made a rattling noise and it was getting hot to touch on outer sides of the machine. I called Electrolux and told them I was not comfortable using the dryer. This was supposed to be a brand new top of the line machine and was causing me nothing but issues, time off from work and countless hours on the phone. The Electrolux representative said I may be eligible for a replacement and that they would put in the request and I would hear back in 48 business hours. This was on a Tuesday and by Friday I still hadnt heard back. I called Electrolux again and spoke to two different representatives; the first one said there was no update and I had to just wait. When I asked to speak to a supervisor she transfer me to a customer survey and hung up on me. The second representative said the first person did not file the request correctly and that they would put in the request again and I would need to wait another 48 business hours. Again no response within 48 hours from Electrolux. I am exhausted in dealing with this company, their poor product and customer service. If I had the option I would just return it all and get another brand. What are my rights as a consumer?

We have a very big Electrolux fridge at our parents' house. We've had about 3 different refrigerators in the past 25 years and hands down it's the best we've ever had. The freezer is so cold that it takes less than an hour and a half for tap water to become ice. It's even colder than my ex's heart, LOL. The fridge itself is also very spacious. We never run out of space for food considering the fact that my mom has a tendency to hoard food in the ref for weeks. Everything stays nice and fresh when it's put inside our Electrolux fridge. Being that Electrolux is not really a popular refrigerator brand here (or anywhere I think), I would definitely recommend others to give it a try. You won't be disappointed!

Our LG top of the line troublesome fridge of 5 years died leaking water on
Our LG top of the line troublesome fridge of 5 years died leaking water on our wood floor. LG does not stand for Lucky Goldstar or Lifes Good; in my dictionary it stands for Lousy Garbage! Enough about that. We were now in a lurch for a new fridge without having the time to thoroughly research our purchase. Instead of going to a chain store that sells appliances (have you ever attempted to contact a salesman at Sears? Its a joke!) we decided this time to go with an independent appliance store. Initially we may have paid a little more, but what we received in service was priceless! Since we were less than a week away from Thanksgiving the owner bent over backward to deliver within a couple of days and the installation was professional, clean and non-damaging to any of our belongings. We went with an Electrolux counter depth model with the freezer on the bottom. We were impressed with the features and based upon that my husband wanted the deluxe model which had a special drawer for ice cream so that it is not rock hard when you try to spoon it our of the container. After it arrived I looked at ratings for this model and they were horrific. I felt my heart sink to the bottom of my feet, especially after the amount of money we spent. I didnt tell my husband right away for obvious reasons and decided to let time pass to see what transpired.Three months have passed without a single issue. It is a pleasure to have in our kitchen. The produce doesnt freeze, we have loads of room inside because of the design and we have loads of ice, a problem with counter depth french door fridges and one common complaint about the Electrolux. The ice dispenser on the door is great-small cubes just the right size for a glass or crushed if desired. The cubes actually come out when the lever is depressed (non existent with the LG) and water doesnt drip after dispensing water. The ice maker in the freezer is ingenious! Now I dont have to listen to the ribbing from my daughters about the stingy ice maker. All in all, I think that we made a wise purchase, and well worth the money.

I have had this Electrolux EI23BC35K Counter Depth Refrigerator for about two weeks now, so I am ready to give it a review. Some things that I really like about it are: Looks great, doors and drawers all open and close smoothly. The LED lights come on and transition from off to full brightness in a couple of seconds. Rounded pyramid ice cubes from the door dispenser, and near half moon shaped cubes in the freezer, plenty of ice. So far, the ice makers are working perfectly. Temperature readings on the front display appear accurate. What I don't like about this refrigerator: The compressor and fans run constantly. I have only heard it shut off once, for about 15 minutes. Even after not being opened all night long, it is still running non-stop in the morning. It does have, as other reviewers have noted, a slight, high pitched whine coming from the compressor. It's not too loud, but noticeable. Since it never cycles off, it can be a bit annoying if you have good hearing and your kitchen is open to the living area. The water filling the ice makers makes a loud whoosh noise, much louder than my previous fridge. The refrigerator arrived in decent time, considering it had to be shipped from the east coast to the west coast. Upon arrival, the packaging appeared good, and once the cardboard was removed, it all looked good so I accepted delivery. After I completed the tedious task of removing the protective film from the stainless steel front, I found a small dent in the exact middle of the freezer door. It wasn't visible with the film on, and the film took a long time to remove as it was like peeling duct tape off. The blue film on the handles come off easily, but the somewhat clear film on the doors was a royal pain to remove, taking about 40 minutes to finish. I did not make the delivery people wait while I did this, so could not mark it as damaged in shipping, so I get to live with it. That being said, I am overall fairly happy with my purchase, but would really have to think twice about buying a major appliance this way again. I saved a couple hundred over buying locally, but lost out on having the slight damage repaired. The savings I made were used to buy a SquareTrade extended warranty and new water supply line. If I have any issues in the future, I will update my review.

We purchased our Washer Dryer set less than a year ago. Already it has broken down twice. Both times, a bolt that holds the pulley to the back of the drum has loosened itself causing the pulley to cut into the drum housing and cause leakage. When contacting Electrolux the first time, the repair company they sent made 4 trips out to repair the unit, and we were without a working washer for several weeks. This time they dispatched a company that came out to assess the problem and then returned several days later to make the repair. They showed up at 8:00 pm on a Sunday night, and it is now 11:23 pm and it still isnt back together. To top it off, the repair person just informed me that a wire inside the machine was damaged and he will have to order a new one and return again. Electrolux has told us they will not replace the machine as long as their technician says it is repairable. I am very disappointed. For what we pay for these high end appliances, customer service is a joke. I live 35 miles from the nearest laundromat, and this is a total pain in the ** for my family of four... We have had to resort to hand washing my childrens school uniforms daily to get by and Electrolux seems to feel we arent entitled to a product that performs as advertised. I hope someone files a class action suit. I will never purchase Electrolux products again. Frigidaire has destroyed what was once the best brand name in the business.

We purchased a washer and gas dryer in June 2017. The washer is ok but the dryer seemed to take longer and longer to dry. The lint screen turns out to be the problem as it does not seal and lets lint get by into the blower. The blower blades get packed full and the safety heat circuits shut the gas off. Appears Electrolux also figured that the lint screen filter was a faulty design and on the new model did a complete redesign!! I will not use the dryer since Electrolux has not designed or manufactured a parts correction and will not sell it to anyone else as it appears to be a fire hazard!

I own an Electrolux ICON, high-end Counter Depth refrigerator. The Ice Maker has NEVER worked properly. The fan keeps making noise and freezing up, and the ice maker refuses to fill. Ive checked every possible problem it could be, from water pressure to filter replacement and more. Something as simple as an Ice Maker / Dispenser should just work. Theyve been making ice makers for refrigerators for a long time. Its not rocket science. And, why is Electrolux able to simply ignore this problem without making it right for the customer(s), thousands of them unhappy and likely never to purchase another one again, due to horrible customer service and company unwillingness to fix the problem.

Refrigerator less than 30 days olds. Gear bar in freezer keeps falling off, therefore must remove to allow freezer door to close. This causes drawer to be unbalanced, noisy and wobbly. Called company for replacement. Told my option was repair only. Purchased from hhgregg in Bowling Green KY.

We purchased the extended warranty and within the first three months we had 2 service calls for major repairs. In both cases the oven overheated and burnt up the food that was in it. A third call was made with another major repair. I wrote letters to Electrolux and the company I made the purchase and requested the appliance be replaced. Nothing was done and as soon as the warranty expired another major problem happened and cost us $550 to repair. We will never recommend Electrolux to family or friends.

Im writing this with 5 years of experience watching my appliances fail. It started with the warping of the pan in the built-in range and then the failure of the control assembly for that unit. Beside the fact that the racks are very difficult to slide in and out and dont fit well, I just figured this is just a case of a bad unit. Electrolux paid to have it fixed so I was ok at that point. Then the ice maker in the refrigerator quit working properly. It was intermittent, slow, and finally quit. Electrolux paid for this repair also... like three times. It worked for a while and started the same problem about a year later. I called back in and they said theyd replace the refrigerator... and they did. Later I received a mailing about what I think was a class action suit on this issue so I understand why they were so agreeable to replacement of the refrigerator.Next up is the dishwasher. Actually I dont believe it ever really worked that well because the touch pad was stubborn from the beginning. So now the touch pad isnt functional except for the start button and the normal button so no other features are available. Ive been told that the buttons are probably sticking and it needs a new part. Of course were now in our 5th year so the warranty is gone, and since Im going to replace the part, it will be on me if the part doesnt work when it gets here. The only other problem we had with the dishwasher was that something happened with the seal as far as I can tell, and it leaked water, ruining our hardwood floor under the dishwasher, in front of it, and some on the other side of the island. A hardwood guy tells me well have to do the whole room to fix the problem effectively. Its easy to see but were living with it.Just a couple days ago the microwave went out. No microwave and no convection. Check out the reviews folks, this unit is highly unreliable. I did find that Wolf makes one that will fit perfect for a similar price, actually a little less, and I suspect it will outperform this ICON by a landslide. We bought all these appliances for a new home we built. They looked nice at the time and of course we were sold on them. That company isnt in business anymore either. What a mess. I hope this review serves the public well but there are a boatload of reviews on Electrolux and it looks like an average of one star. Please pay attention and save yourself some headaches... buy something else.

I really wanted a super quiet dishwasher, which this is. Unfortunately, it needs to be reset frequently, doesnt clean well, sometimes decides not to use the dry cycle for no discernible reason. The stainless steel actually got a stain on it that I cannot remove. Between this and the Electrolux fridge that we dont like, I cant recommend this companys products.

In 2008, we purchased all Electrolux products from Lowes. BIG MISTAKE. The double oven has had several F10 codes, this is a runaway temperature code and the EOC board and temperature sensor have been replaced and worked one time and then failed. Do not self clean this oven, it can only took 1 time and then one of the 8 boards will burn and fail. At the moment the oven is inoperable. The fridge has had several service calls. The plastic shelves break. The dishwasher had the mother board fail immediately. I would never recommend these appliances! Lowes is no help and Electrolux customer service has no ability to assist in persistent issues. They just say that I am out of warranty. Our gas grill is our back up when we need oven/cook top.
