Product Reviews:

Our LG refrigerator is only 18 months old and has broken down three times.
Our LG refrigerator is only 18 months old and has broken down three times. The first time, LG repaired within the first year. Second time occurred three weeks ago. The warranty company contracted a local appliance repair company to come out. They came out and diagnosed the issue, then said they needed to order a new compressor and should take three to five days. On day three, I call the company to find out status of compressor. They indicate it had not yet arrived. I call every day after that for another week and could not get anyone to answer the phone. My wife and I are both professionals and do not have time to deal with a fridge company. On day eleven or so, I file a complaint on Better Business Bureau website. Less than twenty minutes later, I get a call. Company comes out to install the new compressor a day later. Repair guy says it is fixed and leaves. Later that day, I again noticed the fridge was not working. Fridge is still broken!!! Now another lost work day and more time on the phone and internet wasting my time dealing with a terrible LG Product! There has to be legal recourse with so many complaints. I bet the majority of us have the same model. LG needs to be held accountable for selling a $2500 piece of junk!

Glass cooktop is very difficult to clean and keep clean. In order to clean, it is necessary to use a special Glass stovetop cleaner after each use. Dont like the dials on the front of the stove. Easy to bump into and accidentally turn the burners on. This model is a Slide in and when the oven is turned on it emits a very high pitched sound thru the exhaust on the back of the stove.

Our Lg electric range knobs Model number LTE4815BD are on the front of the range and if you barely bump or brush by them they turn on. We’ve had pizza boxes burn, our wooden oven top cover and other items. My son is scared to death (he is a firefighter) and said this range is going to burn our house down. We literally can have nothing on top because if there is it will catch on fire with the slightest bump of the knob.

I had dealt with our old washer for years. It would become unbalanced a lot. Clothes would come out with washing detergent, dirt, food and baby poop still on them. We decided to buy a new set and not have to worry anymore. We paid almost $2000.00 for the pair. Its exactly like the old one except were out $1000.00. The dryer is fine. Love it, but HATE, HATE THE WASHER. Scale of 1-10 it gets a 1.

I have owned an LG refrigerator for five years, and have now had 3 times where it stopped sufficiently cooling due to a well known issue with the compressor and other internal components. There is even a class action lawsuit that covers numerous models. Part of the class-action lawsuit requires them to extend the warranty up to 5 years. Since I am now about 7 months past that 5 years warranty, LG will cover the parts to repair, but not the labor. Since the repair is quite involved, it is expensive and therefore not worth it, especially since this would have been the THIRD time to replace the compressor and other parts, and there is no guarantee it would be a durable repair. If the third failure of the compressor had happened just 7 months earlier, I would have been entitled, per the terms of the settlement, to compensation. I realize at this point LG is not obligated to do anything beyond the terms of the class action settlement, but it is infuriating to me that a company would produce a product like this, need to have a class action lawsuit to do right by its customers, and seems content to leave me with a product they know is faulty and refuse to take responsibility based essentially on a technicality. Its disgraceful. Avoid LG products. This is a nightmare.

LG Oven Model LRE 30755ST - Tried to bake some brownies at 350 and the oven overheated out of control to the point that the brownies burned, the pan was ruined and smoke detectors went off. Must have been several hundred degrees above 350. Technician felt that the heating elements got stuck on, vs. cycling on and off. I felt that an oven heating up out of control should have been considered a safety issue vs. just another repair out of warranty.

First, the compressor went out in our LG refrigerator that is only 5 years old. We had LG come fix it. They billed us for a tech to just walk in the door. The first tech had to cancel so they sent a different one. However, they billed us for both technicians. This was on Jan. 23. Five phone calls later, lots of being told to be patient, and being given the runaround, its now Feb. 28 and we still dont have our refund. This is stealing. Be warned, LG has horrible quality and they steal money from their consumers. We will NEVER buy another LG product.

When we bought this dryer we were told itll last at least 10 years ~ it died today and its only been a little over 6 years. When we were forced to purchase a new LG washer 5 years ago because the stackable unit that LG makes will only support LG products, we were told by the LG repairman who had to come out twice to fix the brand new washer, told us that in reality the dryer would probably only last about 7 years and the new washer about 5 years because thats the way theyre designed. The dryer didnt even last the 7 years. Absolute expensive garbage and I will NEVER buy another LG product! Its costing us $425-$450 to have it repaired today, but its better than throwing away another $2000 on another set of useless, cheap-made crap by LG.

I purchased this microwave on Amazon a little over 2 years ago. The plastic tabs that hold the glass in place randomly broke one day while not even in use. LG does not care because the warranty is only for 1 year. They want to sell me a replacement door for $115 for a $250 microwave. There is no way the door costs this much. I refuse to buy anything else LG.

Customer service experience was so stressful. Customer service department for LG Canada is located in Panama. The customer service representatives lack experience, cannot answer any simple questions. The bottom racks fell in so we had to call a repair person who literally stretched the bottoms of the racks out so they would not fall into the bottom. We use recommended products and get residue now more than ever. Please stay away from this dishwasher.

I broke down and got a new top loader different company and now this lid is cracked. Purchased a warranty and was told that this cosmetic and not covered. Ive done a little research online and understand that this is a design flaw and obviously with many models out there. Ive tried to contact LG but sending an email doesnt get submitted, I will try calling but am not expecting any positive results. My question is how can I avoid cracked lids?

We purchased our LG refrigerator last November. The ice maker stopped working in March. We were scheduled for service two weeks later. The night before it was to be serviced the refrigerator stops working altogether. I call the service company to give them a heads up that more parts will be needed only to be informed that LG doesnt give the repair service parts until theyve been out to analyze the problem. The service representative comes out and says its the power circuit board and orders a new one that takes four weeks to receive; another week to arrange the service appointment. The service rep (Jeff a good guy) returns to installs the boards and tells us all is well. The ice maker worked for three days and then stopped. I call the repair shop and was told that service cant come back out because LG has closed the ticket; so I have to call LG again. Jeff comes out to analyze the lingering problem to get the replacement part. We were told that the part is back ordered and expected delivery will be a month. Two months roll by without the delivery of the part. It is now July and the ice maker remains inoperable. While waiting for the part, in May we called the service shop to voice our concern about not having our functioning ice maker. The service shop told us that LG was likely going to replace or refund us for our refrigerator since the part is taking so long to arrive. We called LG and they said they needed a copy of our receipts for the refrigerator and they would send us a link to the LG service department. A couple of weeks later the service shop called and asked what was the status of the LGs replacement or refund on this ticket. I told the service shop I was still waiting for a link from LG to send receipts. She told me I should call LG again, which I did. LG said I had given them the wrong email address (my email address is my first and last name so essentially they were telling me I didnt know how to spell my last name). When I questioned why they thought I couldnt spell my last name and asked them to take ownership of the error they hung up on me. I sent in the copies of my receipts. LG never got back to me (as I had been promised). I asked them today (about a month after they had received the receipts) what was happening in regards to my replacement or refund and they said that since the part should be in next week, a replacement or refund was rejected. This action from LG is probably just a delaying tactic on their part. Ive been hung up on about six times from their warranty service, usually after being on hold for over fifteen minutes just waiting for them to pick up after a transfer. They have promised me a call back on several occasions and I have yet to receive a call from them. Their product seems to be of low quality based on it failing within the first six months of operation. Their warranty service would have to improve several steps to make it up to pathetic. I strongly suggest buying from a different brand.

I hate my LG washing machine... it smells and there is water that accumulates in the rubber gasket and black mold! I think the problem is the horizontal drum... The water does not drain properly. I never heard of buying a product to clean your wash machine... That pretty much saying there are issues! The dryer also sucks! It shuts off before clothes are dry... So if youre not home to restart.. They smell! The dryer also seems to take a long time to dry. Who would think that products would decline in quality... With all this technology we have today!!! I want my old fashion washer and dryer back!!!!

What a horrible product! The oven is completely uneven, the warming drawer doesnt warm and worst of all, the core inside the knobs keep breaking. They are made of a very poor plastic and now I find out they are 69.00 US a pop!! (I am Canadian so right now 100.00 x 5 knobs.) Cheaper to buy a new stove!!! I have asked just for the cores, but of course, they only sell the knob and thus I throw more LG crap into landfill. I have tried to talk to management but all I get is the poor woman who answers the phone to read to me their no response! I will never buy LG again! We purchased our LG top loading washing machine back in 2010 from Sears. Almost from the beginning, we were experiencing some very high speed spinning products. After numerous complaints that never amounted to anything, last year 2013 LG sent a notice about reprogramming their computer system in this machine. That changed all the settings, times, etc but did nothing to the UE message we were receiving on the machine which meant an uneven load. Two weeks ago, Nov. 6th, 2014, a new stator for the motor was shipped to us by LG to be installed free of charge by Sears and that did not fix the UE problem.Yesterday 11/25/14, the same Sears technician came to the house and told us we needed to change a sensor and the clutch assembly at a cost to us of $703.20. Today, 11/26/14, I contacted LG and they told me it was not their problem. And I told them I would get an attorney and they said go ahead. I will never purchases another LG product again because they do not stand by their product especially when they are wrong.

We purchased an expensive LG French Door Refrigerator LFXS30766S/02 October 31, 2015. Two weeks and a half weeks ago (at not even three years old), the ice in the door melted all over the floor. Then, the whole thing died. I called LG and was told that someone would call back in 3-5 business days to schedule an appointment. No one called. A few days later, two huge boxes from FedEx randomly showed up. They sent a compressor and two other parts without even looking at it. Still no call. After reading an overwhelming amount of complaints/reviews and finding out that no one around here is willing to work on LG, we decided to just purchase a new refrigerator. We had lost at least $500.00 worth of food and not taking any chances. Who knows how long we would have had to wait. At 12 days in, LG called to see if anyone had called. I had told them no. 14 days in, another person called to ask the same question. I cant believe they havent been held accountable for this issue. Thankfully, we had our new refrigerator delivered this morning and had the LG piece of junk hauled away. We will never purchase ANY LG product again.

Purchased in Spring of 2015, and just before the year warranty went out, the ice maker quit working. After a week or two we got that fixed, and while waiting on that repair, my sons LG refrigerator stopped cooling and he was having major issues with getting it repaired b/c it was out of the year warranty (purchased Fall of 2014). Because he was having so many issues, we decided to buy the LG Extended Warranty, just in case, and it was over $500. So now were in for over $3000 for this refrigerator. FYI, my son junked his after several months b/c he could not find anyone who could/would work in it or even figure out what was wrong with it!!! THEN just this past month, July 18th we returned home from a weeks vacation and the refrigerator had stopped working, so we were up until late throwing out over $500 worth of food and cleaning a nasty refrigerator. My husband called them immediately and started the process of getting the repairs made using the LG Extended Warranty. It took him three calls to just get to the right people that might could help us, and they said it would be the end of the week before anyone could JUST look at it! Well, those folks never called the day before, as promised, so my husband starts calling again. Finally someone showed up on July 28th, but guess what? Its a sealed system and LG wouldnt let them work on it. My husband has spent hours on the phone going from person after person up the chain, and finally on August 2nd he got a supervisor that admitted that they had no one in the State of Louisiana that could even work on our refrigerator!!!We are waiting for a call by 2:00 today to see what they are going to do about the situation, to fix or replace... oh, and the LG Extended Warranty will only reimburse us for $250 of our food, not to mention weve had to eat out much more and buy a smaller refrigerator just to keep a few cold food items in! LG is a JOKE, both their refrigerators and their LG Extended Warranties!!! STEER CLEAR OF LG REFRIGERATORS!!! Ill let you know what happen when we hear back from LG.

I have an LG refrigerator that has a sealed system problem, and still within the 7 years warranty. I had both Sears and LG serviceman telling me its not repairable. I just got a call from LG that they will prorate and give me $333. Thats nonsense. The user guide says, Your LG refrigerator will be repaired or replaced at LGs option... It doesnt tell me anywhere in here that it will be prorated and I get less money than what I paid Sears ($294.24) and LG ($89.00) for determining the issue. I had Sears to checkout the refrigerator and 3 trips, they determined the leak is from the cabinet. They said I have to go to LG. I called LG and they said they wont take Sears word and documentation, and I have to get an LG repairman to come and look at it. The LG guy showed up and told me yep, thats it. Not repairable and should be replaced by LG. LG called me today and they are going to give me less than what I paid to tell them the sealed system that has 7-year warranty is bad. I had an LG front load in the washer for six years and the bearing started to go out and needed to be replaced. I called LG and they sold me a warranty to fix the problem. A week later I was contacted by a local appliance store, who came out and looked at my machine. They said yes, it was a bearing problem, but they were not sure that LG would actually authorize the repair, even though I had called LG and specifically requested a bearing repair replacement and they had listened to the machine as it was operating and agreed that it was a bearing problem. The repair technician called them and they did agree to repair my machine. He ordered the parts and two weeks later showed up to do the repair. He worked on my machine for about three hours and finally got the job done. After he had reassembled my machine he said it would be a good idea to run a cycle to make sure it was all cleaned out after the repair. Without me doing anything, he started the machine, which sounded like it was working properly. He left and a few minutes later I left for an appointment. When I came back about 20 minutes later the door on the machine was knocked open the trashcan next to the machine was knocked over water was all over the floor, And the breaker to the machine had been tripped. I called the repair man and he came back within about an hour and looked at the machine. Now the tub, the plastic one that encircles the steel one, has a crack in it and was vibrating so violently inside the machine cabinet that it broke the heating element compartment and spewed water all over the entire inside of the machine in the electronics in there. I called LG to inquire what to do now and they basically say that they will not cover this repair because I should’ve not left the house with the washing machine running unattended. ** believable… I cannot believe that a company would say some such BS to a customer who contacted their repair department, purchased their recommended extended warranty, and used their certified repair technician. And keep in mind it was the technician who at the end of the repair said it would be a good idea to run an empty cycle to clean everything out of the washer. And he did not say you need to stay in the house with your washing machine. And I would imagine almost everybody has washed clothes and left the house with the washer running.I feel that LG has demonstrated incredibly poor customer service and corporate malfeasance with the way they are abusing people with their worthless warranty. I am considering legal action, and possibly a class action lawsuit to see how many other people they have treated in this way. If you have been treated this way, please call me and leave a message at **. Leave your contact information and tell me about your LG warranty nightmare experience. I will write it up and hopefully turn the materials over to a law firm.Nobody should be treated as poorly as I was… Basically they sent a technician into my home who completely destroy my washing machine in an attempt to repair my machine that obviously went wrong, and now LG is blaming me. Ridiculous. Outrageous. Nobody should be allowed to do business this way. I will also be contacting one of our local TV affiliates who does stories on problems like this and see if they want to pick this up. I am pissed and I imagine there are a lot of other people out there just like me.

LG will not stand behind their product. I purchased this $1,595.81 refrigerator with an extended warranty 5 years ago. In all fairness the warranty expired 4 months ago but I found out from the repair man that this was a bad model that is no longer made by LG. There is a leak in the Sealed System which is built into the chassis. LG designed a poor product. I asked for some type (any type) of a credit toward a new refrigerator. Ive never had a refrigerator (with repairs) that lasted less than 20 years. A product that last 5 years is unacceptable. Especially if was due to poor design on LGs part. I currently also have an LG Microwave, Dishwasher. Bottom line is due to poor service they have lost a customer for life.

I placed a service call through LG for my refrigerator. They said the tech would come from 8 - 12 and call me prior to the visit. After taking the morning off from work and no one calling or showing up I call and they said someone would call me between 1 and 5. I have asked to speak to a supervisor and have been on hold for 15 minutes and counting. I had a Whirlpool for 15 years no problems. This 4-year-old $2500 refrigerator is a hassle. Wish I would have never purchased it.

Bought a Kenmore french door SS fridge for my son less than 4 years ago. Its made by LG. A week ago it stopped working. Had an ex-LG service rep, now an independent repairman, come out to fix it. He made 5 trips. Each time thinking it was a different circuit board after talking with the LG tech department. In the end, he determined it was the compressor that had failed. Most folks Ive talked to said its not worth fixing, just buy a new fridge. From this site, it seems that this is a fairly common problem, and that LG makes a deficient product. Every other fridge Ive owned (and I have 5 rental properties in addition to our own home) have lasted just about forever. Lesson: stay away from LG products!

Purchased a new LG dishwasher on 12/17/20. Model #LDT5678SS. Delivered on 12/20/20. Used MAYBE a dozen times & now there is rust in the bottom of the tub & on the door. Since it is now past 30 days Lowes will not fix/replace it so we reached out to LG since there is a 1 year warranty. The tech they sent out said he owned the same model & kept his outside & his didnt do that. Then he went out to his truck, made a phone call, came back in & told us to call Customer Service & left. We called customer service who informed us the tech said it was improper use on our part. We only used Cascade & water. I dont understand how this is improper use!We also purchased the 5 year extended warranty from Lowes, but because it is still under manufacture warranty, they cannot help either. They also stated that rust on the tub & door is considered cosmetic & would not be covered. Even though in the back of the LG book, that came with the dishwasher, it states there is a lifetime warranty on the tub & 1 year warranty on the parts/labor.So now we are stuck with a brand new rusting dishwasher that sticks like rust inside & Im sure will only get worse with time but thats considered cosmetic. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER LG PRODUCT AGAIN. Its sad because we used to love LG. Own several LG TVs & also just purchased a LG Microwave which Im going to return before the 30 days. We were also looking at purchasing the matching stove & refrigerator but that is definitely out of the question now!! Between the Dishwasher, connectors & warranty we paid over $1,000 & now were stuck with it!

My LG refrigerator failed after about 5 year. LG warranty is 10 years for parts only but labor is $375. I was told that the labor rate is a flat $250 but they’ll charge you an additional $125 for preauthorization fee. Their refrigerators are not good products. My side by side LG freezer (model LSXS26326W) which is only 2 years old has had the freezer die on it 2 times already. It makes no ice and the freezer temperature is up to 40 degrees even though it is set to 0 degrees. We have called the LG company several times but they keep repeating the same thing, Adjust the temperature. But we have adjusted the temperature several times but it does not help. We are seeing that others are complaining about a faulty compressor. I would not recommend this unit to anyone and please before buying any appliance check around and gather information to see what the best one is. I am really upset and I have lost all my meat and frozen food.

We loved this fridge for about the first 3 months. Then the optional second ice maker that we purchased would take a week to fill. We were told the air temp in AZ was too hot for the fridge to produce ice any faster!! Really, how stupid do you think we are? We have had at least 10 visits to repair this issue and now the upper part of the fridge is fluctuating from 30-42 degrees when set at 37. We are losing food to spoilage and freezing. We are paying for all the spoilage. The battle continues to have this fridge operate as it should. VERY VERY FRUSTRATING. I will not buy LG again.

Six months ago, the hot water valve had to be replaced in #2 washer. Today the cold water valve had to be replaced in #1 washer again. I paid over $2,000.00 for these washers. Doesnt anything last more than 4 years? Next time Im buying top loading, cheap washers so when they break, I will just throw them out and buy new ones.

Three months ago I moved into a home with newer LG appliances. Recently, the freezer and refrigerator stopped keeping the food frozen or even cold. This was on Friday evening, so I searched online for possible solutions. I found a YouTube video of someone with the same fridge as I who had the same problem and he solved it by unplugging the fridge and plugging it back in. We did that, but it did not get colder. On Saturday I called the 1-800 number listed in the Smart Diagnosis section of the manual, hoping for this to tell me what was wrong and get it repaired quickly. The employee who answered the phone said they did not have the software to do this. He could send out a technician, but nobody would be available until after the weekend. I had to take the day off work to stay at home, waiting, only to be told that the technician didnt have a new compressor with him. He said he would order one, and although it would be here the next day, the technician didnt have the availability to come back until three days later. By this time, we had to throw away literally everything in both the fridge and freezer. Hundreds of dollars worth of food, not to mention all of the money spent having to eat at restaurants because of the spoiled food.Another day off work and the technician was able to replace the compressor. Thankfully it was still under warranty. He told us to wait until the next day to fill it with anything that needs to be cold as to ensure it is working correctly. He said that he hadnt had a replaced compressor fail yet. We waited 48 hours before we went back to the grocery store to fully replace what we had lost. That was yesterday.Today, I noticed the ice melting and dripping through the dispenser. I call the 1-800 number yet again, and am told, yet again, that Smart Diagnosis is unable to be used because of the lack of software. Unfortunately this time the employee says that she is unable to schedule a technician to visit because that is unavailable to her. When asked to speak with a supervisor I was told that there wasnt anyone available, but someone from the corporate office would contact me within 72 hours. 72 hours? No supervisor or manager available for simple customer service? UNACCEPTABLE!! This appliance needs to be replaced, not bandaged with defective parts. Parts fail, I understand that, but the level of customer service from LG has me unwilling to ever buy another LG appliance.

Bought our LG French door refrigerator Sept 2017, July of 2018 our fridge stopped working. Customer service is horrible. With every call we hear that we will get an email in 3 to 5 days and that there is no one to service it in this area so it will take longer for someone to come out. We never receive the emails and have put out 3 calls to them each time we are told we are on the list. After the second week of waiting, our fridge has started cooling again and we are unsure what to make if it. Nervous to use it since we are unsure if it will stop working again and we will be out more food items. With a fridge less than 1 year old that we are still paying for we are truly frustrated! It has now been 3 weeks of waiting and still nothing. Our fridge is under the 1 year warranty but what good does that do if nobody comes to fix it! Buyer beware!

Believe it or not at the almost end of the 1st years warranty, I was cleaning the washer around the rubber part on top and found that the framework was rusting. I had already reported the bleach dispenser was rusting without results. I called the store and was referred to corporate. I got the runner around there. After trying to work with them they had a recall on a part. After that was installed the washer is slower which I reported right away. We also splurged and purchased the LG combo after being told they were the best. We had them 4 months and the washer began to leak. We had the service people out 7 times. Of course, it would not leak when they were here. We also had the disgusting odor and high-pitched scream when filling with water. The service men informed us that it could no way be their problem--it had to be something we did. They also had no idea how to get rid of the smell. We were still under warranty at the time. I had to keep taking off time from work to be here when they were here. The last time they were here, though, I walked in on one of them talking to their dispatcher complaining that they had been here several times and they were making no money on this call. Isnt that great? I have a faulty washer and dryer and they are worried about money? What about the money we spent on these relics? Needless to say, that was the last time they were here. I just happened to ask a sales lady at Home Depot about the odor and she told me about the front panel and draining that tube and actually running Clorox bleach through the machine. She also said do not use Downy whatever you do as it builds up on the drum and does not come off and always leave the washer door open. But, now, there’s a new problem: the light never goes off in the washer. It used to. I emailed LG and their response was you need a service call. Are you kidding? If there is a class action suit, I want in. I have not talked to one person that is happy with their machine!

We have had to replace our LG French door refrigerator for the third time. We had experienced failures of the water line, ice maker, fridge gaskets (now redesigned) and freezer gaskets. LG refused to honor their warranty. They stated that with replacements, only the original warranty counts. Fortunately, Best Buy did honor their extended warranty, but each time it took a full day off of work to wait for the delivery to unload the bad refrigerator/freezer, get the new one in and the old one out, and reload whatever food had not spoiled. LG denied my poor review of their product, and the CEO has not replied to the certified letter he received over a month ago. LG simply doesnt care. Every Consumer Complaint website has multiple entries noting problems with LG.

We purchased this fridge about 4 years ago. From the start it had a manufacturing defect on the water hose that supplies water for drinking. It would drip down the front of the fridge after you got water out of it. They came out and replaced the whole door, but would not replace the stainless steel lever that had gotten stained from their defect. Then it started to give us ice with what looked like dandruff, I have not been the 1st person to complain about this. All it needs is a new ice tray but have to buy the whole assembly. The door since day one has had moisture collecting on it, bad door seals I am suspecting. You close the left door and the right one pops open. This thing is a piece of garbage, and I got the same dont care attitude with their customer service as others have noted on here. We also have an above stove microwave, 2 went out right out of warranty, not even a month past. LG means life is good for them, cause by time you find out you bought a piece of crap it is too late. I also wish I could post a picture of what the ice tray looks like, it grew some yellow hard something or other on it. Very gross to say the least. It seems to me all they care about is making a sale, but not taking care of the customer after purchase. I will never ever ever ever buy LG again.

This was the number one rated range on several different websites so I thought Id found a winner. Ive had nothing but problems since the day this was delivered and the worst part is that LG has the WORST customer service department I have ever had to deal with. A recent chat representative even wrote that she will go one step a time for me reading from the manual. I have a masters degree in nursing, I can read directions! The stove comes set up for natural gas and it took 2 technicians almost 2 hours to get this set up and installed. Cost me an additional $320 and yes, these were experienced technicians from a reputable company, but very little is known about this model. First issue was that the ultraheat burner would not ignite and had a flare up issue when it did. I had to get approval from LG for a service call and again, even the company of their choice knew very little about this stove. He had to call LG for help from there who talked him through the repair. The upper oven was burning just about everything I tried to bake so I asked him to check that. The oven was set at 350 and his professional digital external thermometer was reading 425 degrees AFTER the preheat cycle and took forever to come anywhere near 350 degrees. The instructions tell you how to adjust the oven temps, but the (+) does not appear on the digital display, as stated in the manual, so you have no idea if the adjustments your making are even effective! After burning lots and lots of food, I finally got the oven to semi work. I put a high quality thermometer in the oven and it was all over the place 300-425 degrees during the baking cycle. Now lets talk about the lower oven. From day one there was a terrible odor which I was told was just from it being new. Again, it burned just about everything I put in so I started playing with the adjustment feature. It got to a point where some rolls were golden brown on top, but the bottoms were barely done, but at least they werent burnt! Not to mention that this thing sounds like you have a jet engine running in your kitchen! Now, heres the real kicker. This morning I opened the lower oven to move the rack and the entire inside was black, covered in soot (see photo of rag I used to wipe just the bottom). I tried to call LG but they refused to let me speak to the technical department to see if this was normal for a new oven or if I needed yet another service call. I was told this department only speaks to other technicians. I called Lowes and this piece of junk will be on its way back to the store later this week. Thank heaven I purchased it from Lowes, at least someone stands behind the products they sell.

Like Nate of Duarte, CA wrote on March 26, 2014 -- by end of 2006 purchased LG LFC25760ST. Had the same issue with the light fixture housing in the refrigerator compartment header, not once but twice. My photos look exactly like his. Last service they replaced the entire electronic board and installed a new light fixture housing also recommending use of lower watt (40 watt) bulbs. This occurred Aug. 2012. At the time I stated I was concerned about possible impact whatever lies above the refrigerator header (refrigerant tubes?). It appeared the plastic header was melted completely through in at least 3 locations. Now I have refrigerant smell in the refrigerator. Service call is tomorrow, so well see what happens but suspect cost to address what I believe are issues with the refrigerant system may be so exorbitant that it may be more prudent to replace after a bit over 8 years than to repair. I dont understand how this fire hazard can be so prevalent for so many years and nothing appears to have been done. If there is a class action suit, I will gladly participate, as this refrigerator is in my opinion, a fire hazard at the very least.

After reading the reviews here, I realize I am not alone. We bought our LG oven prior to buying the LG dishwasher.... a few years apart. Initially, I did not have any real problems with the stove/oven EXCEPT that the control panel cracked shortly after we got it, like a month. Fine, everything else was working. We let it go. BUT, now we are having serious issues & of course, they all came to the surface right before this holiday season. Just before Thanksgiving, the stovetop burner would not turn off. I thought it was just my husband being an idiot as he was rushing out of the house making a Jambalaya for the Giants’ pregame tailgate. However, it turns out he wasnt making it up.... It was hot for a long time and would not turn off. HS, hot surface, was the code but the burner was glowing bright red as if it were on HIGH. Took forever to clean that pan. My Le Creuset no less. Then after that, the oven started burning everything and cooking things funny. Burnt on the outside and mushy, undercooked on the inside. Last night, I tried again to use oven.... F-9 error came up. I turned it on and off. Yes, that was my solution in the moment. Now I see that the ovens with that specific warning are a SERIOUS FIRE HAZARD. The ovens catch fire from the malfunctions according to other reviewers. This is shocking and a real issue. I have 3 kids. Honestly, I cant believe Home Depot carries LG after reading all these other accounts of LG breaking down & just not working. So, no holiday cookies or turkey this holiday season b/c my oven that is LESS than 4 years old malfunctioned & is a piece of crap!!!!!!! No food memories with my kids that you daydream about, look forward to with holidays approaching. Nope! Hopes and dreams dashed by LG. And forget about getting a repairperson to come to work on LG. I called several places in the area, and they practically hung up on me when I said I had an LG. As the previous reviewers noted, repair must be done by certified LG contractor. Finally had Ultra Wiz (recommended through LG consumer support) came to take care of the LG dishwasher, which I stupidly bought not realizing LG sucks. The LG dishwasher is quite possibly the worst dishwasher I have ever had. Pretty much had problems with it after 6 months. Within 18 months now, I have had the dishwasher serviced 3x. Ridiculous. As I write this, I am on hold with LG begging for a refund for the stove but that will probably only happen when hell freezes over. Nope, as usual... They say I have to pay for repair and then my case will be presented for evaluation by said mystery higher up. So, I have to spend more money on junky LG product to even get consideration for a refund.... I would take half of what I spent on the stove at this point and put it towards a product that actually works. The only reason I am not stark raving mad is b/c we are about to renovate our current kitchen, and I am getting new appliances anyway. BUT STILL LG is horrid. Never again will I recommend, let alone, buy another single LG product. NEVER. I wish we could ban together and sue LG. Btw, the CEO Bon-Joon Koo is worth 840 million! No wonder he looks so happy in all the photos.

It had literally been over a month with this issue!! The compressor went out on my fridge. I already knew that, contacted LG and they still had to send someone out to “diagnose” to tell me the same thing, which leads to them ordering parts that they could’ve had already if they had listened. So first of all why give an 8-12 window when the tech shows up at 2. Not once but twice!! Now, I wish I was joking, but they are sending someone out again for the 4th freaking time to fix this damn thing!! Please stop wasting everyone’s time and just junk out this worthless unit. Please believe me, never again LG products. It’s said that I work in retail and have shown them much love, that definitely ends today. I will definitely never recommend, sell or talk highly of. Count on that. What a waste of time and money. Not to mention, not being able to cook meals at home and wasting so much money on having to buy takeout and food spoil. Can’t believe this.

We bought our LG front load model WM2487HRM in 2008 and about 6 months after, it started shaking so bad that our whole house would shake. My husband put some vibration pads under the feet and these seem to help for a long time. However, the mold and regular cleaning has been terrible. In the last year, we have been using only the low spin with only using light loads. This seems to elevate the washer moving a foot, however, it now moves about a foot with all three. The low spin, only putting in half load or less with the pads under the feet as well. There are other problems too. The washer will leak from the front. The washer will sometimes not get the soap into the drum. We have tried all of these options because the set cost $3,200.00, which is ridiculous considering our problems. It will cost $800.00 to $1,200.00 to fix and at this point, we will wait and buy another. But not the same brand.

They scheduled a tech to investigate the problem the following day. This appointment was canceled by LGs automated system after the scheduled time for the visit with a statement that they would schedule something within 3 to 5 business days. I called LG to express my pleasure at the level of their customer service and was told that the repair will probably take somewhere between 5 and 7 days IF the parts are available. In the meantime, I am without a refrigerator.

I trust this brand and I had other products of LG like cooking appliances, microwave ovens, dishwashers in past and always had positive experience about LG products. Cool innovations like space-saving features, eye-catching style and energy efficiency, love the alarm feature, the room for storage and the bottom drawer freezer. Everything worked well except the ice maker. The ice maker clogs frequently and has to be manually emptied or pounded from inside the door to release ice from the door ice dispenser. I had couple of service calls and it still did not function properly.

Purchased refrigerator in October to be delivered to our home that was still in the build process. hhgregg held fridge for us until Nov.22, when it was delivered. $3600.00 later, I could take the thing and run a truck over it. 2 weeks ago, my husband came and got me from another room to show me the control panel on the fridge... it read..... R & DH. No clue what either meant, got the manual, lo and behold manual is in every language, but not one thing referring to the codes on the control panel. Left with one option - call the 800#.. Now that means speaking with someone in God knows where, who cant stop apologizing long enough for you to say what you need.... She informs me that we (my husband, who is 72 and myself who is 67) need to PULL the from the wall, unplug it and let it sit {like rebooting a computer}. Then plug it back in and it will be fine.... She failed to tell us that we would have to do this on the average of twice a day, every day!Contacted hhgregg. Oh we had 30 days for return, too bad!!!! Called LG, when the foreign person answered, I demanded to speak to a supervisor who spoke and understood ENGLISH, she supplied. She said that there was a company who would come to fix it.... She contacted them. They happened to be the ONLY COMPANY WITHIN A 75 MILE RADIUS THAT WORKS ON LG!!!!! Now, how lucky are we????? NOT.Company called, sent a young kid out to access the fridge. Lo and behold, I needed a part that would actually defrost the fridge. The one in there was not working. He ordered the part. In the middle of all of this, my husband had to have surgery. They called me to schedule the appointment and unfortunately I had to call them to come later in the day, I had to get my husband to the surgeons office for an emergency. Called the other kid repairman and he said he would make me the last visit. We got home around 1PM in the afternoon, called him and he said to me, oh I forgot I had another client and I wont be there today, they dont allow us much for gas money. I was furious.... I said to him, this is your job..... I had an emergency and he said, well you are the reason I didnt make it there today. I could have gone through the phone after him.... He then said I would have to contact the office to reschedule.. He had my part on his truck!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I decided to call LG and let them handle it. The gal said she would find someone who could come out and fix the unit... She didnt bother to say that she would not be in touch until the next week. In the meantime, we are still unplugging and replugging... and get angrier by the minute. I finally called LG to find out what happened. Oh the dept that handles that take 3-5 business days to locate someone. I ask her, suppose I had gone on vacation and this happened, I would have lost all my food. Yes you would and it was your responsibility. LG will not reimburse. I am not proud of my profanity at this point, but it was well deserved. LG had me between a rock and hard place. I called the owner of the company that first came out... {let me add this, the owner of the company called me and apologized for the kid that gave me the attitude and said he was no longer working for them, that is not how he treats his customers}. When I spoke to him, he was gracious and said he would be out on Thursday to fix the fridge. He came, apologizing once again, put the part in the fridge, after showing us the frost that was built up on the back of the bottom freezer. Said to us that if this does not work, then we have more serious problems. NOT EVEN 12 HRS AND IT WAS BACK DOING THE SAME DAMN THING. I am so angry, so frustrated..... Of course it happened on Friday so nothing was open until today.... I have posted this review here, next Consumer Protection agency, LG and then hhgregg... Busy morning for this frustrated and angry consumer!

LG needs to have a class action lawsuit filed against them or we all need to file claims against them in small claims court. We have most of the same issues as everyone else: Tromm LG washer and dryer. Washer model WM2277HW and dryer model DLG5988W. The washer smells like mold and always has. Slimy, moldy gasket, towels and bathroom rugs come out smelling like a barn, especially the washcloths. Soap dispenser does not drain properly; dryer does not dry. We have had multiple service calls and nothing gets more than a temporary fix or they declare they cant find anything wrong. These units were supposed to be the best and we have been putting up with them far too long.

WE bought LG washer and dryer after building our new home. First time I buy LG and last time. Not only did it smell which I could deal with it by leaving the door open. In December of 2014 it started shaking so bad when spinning. The repair man came and charged me $120.00. The shaking continued and when I called him back he said we had to replace the whole tub, springs___the guts of the machine. Really! For $780 plus dollars. He said after a few years the springs go from round to oval shape and it is a kit, thus the price to replace the whole thing. I said no thank you. I will use it until I cannot stand the shaking and will buy a different brand. This time a top loader. The last one I had last me 17 years and it was a different brand. So I am going back to that brand. After doing some research, I told the repair man I would post this review to tell other women to beware.

DO NOT PURCHASE ANY LG REFRIGERATOR!!! We bought an LG French door refrigerator less than a year ago and we no longer have a refrigerator already. A very expensive appliance that is required normally important in life has been broken for over a month now. LG sent out a subcontracted company name Tasko who set an appt initially A day or so after report of failure of the compressor. Technician showed up unable to speak English and said I think....after only a few minutes someone else would have to come back...he couldnt fix the issue. I said, why did you come if you can not fix it and when will someone be back? My refrigerator isnt working and all my food is spoiling. EXPENSIVE LOSS!!! Plus its almost THANKSGIVING! He replied, someone will call by Friday...a whole week away...NO ONE CALLED FOR 2 more weeks! I received a call out of the blue on November 5th (my birthday) stating...I am on my way! I said, no you are not...NO ONE CALLED TO SET AN APPT AND ITS MY BIRTHDAY, we are not available! I said, I will call you back to set appt. Before an appointment was made...No phone call or appt was made with me but the Technician who does NOT speak English...KNOCKS ON MY DOOR ON VETERANS DAY! I am not dressed and not prepared for this person to be in my home. My husband shockingly lets this tech in and he had me trapped in my bedroom for probably 5-6 hours in which I was having a medical emergency with my cat and I needed to get my cat to Vet. This Tech finally leaves and did not fix the refrigerator but leaves it unplugged saying do not plug in for 3 hours. My food is still spoiling and after 3 hours the refrigerator is now making a very loud noise and is not working at all to cool anywhere.I received a call from LG the next afternoon and I informed the rep of the horrendous customer service and how very unhappy and angry I was at how this man was in my home without a appt and unannounced at all. The rep said, I understand and will be calling Tasko to discuss this with the Tech and he knew that communication with that company was not easy to accomplish from prior conversations. He is very sorry for our experience. Our refrigerator does not work at all at this time. I call LG back a day or so after not hearing a word back and I AM STILL WITH A FRIDGE AND THANKSGIVING IS FAST APPROACHING!!! I called to request a new refrigerator as this is a class action suit issue across the country and My fridge is under warranty. I got the run around saying I must produce a receipt now even though they gave us all in their computer as customers of this fridge. I said I can not find my receipt and the company we purchased it at HH Gregg has closed all stores so I can not get a receipt from them because they did not upload to the warranty dept that bought their contracts. I am constantly calling for a new refrigerator STILL on Nov 21 and THANKSGIVING is tomorrow...I HAVE NO REFRIGERATOR NOW FOR OVER A MONTH and no one seems to give a flying rip and wants to send the same company back to my home that I have had such a horrific experience with for the past month. I requested to speak to the President of LG and was told they dont have that number!!! I said, Are you kidding me?!! The rep said, I will request a EXECUTIVE will call you within the next two days. Meanwhile, I AM STILL WITHOUT A REFRIGERATOR that is less than a year old and tomorrow is THANKSGIVING!!! I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED A CALL FROM AN EXECUTIVE and suspect I will not be, I think its time to contact one of the class action suit attys! Thoroughly disgusted, frustrated and infuriated! Do not buy any refrigerator from LG...or anything else if this is how you will be treated especially after spending nearly $4000 dollars for such an important appliance in life!

My husband purchased a LG refrigerator a year and half ago and the compressor is already out. We purchased the extended warranty plan. A technician came out and identified the problem as the compressor. Two weeks later it has not been repaired. The first time the parts were not in. No one call to let us know that no one would show up so we sat for 2 hours waiting for the technician. The second time someone called and cancelled. I am waiting for a third appointment. They have a food replacement form that the technician is supposed to give you once the repair is complete. So I have not been reimbursed for the lost food or the numerous restaurant meals I have purchased since I do not have a refrigerator. This feels like a scam to me.

Our fridge failed completely after just over a year. While LGs customer service has been polite and pleasant, they have done nothing to help. We are now without a working fridge for a week so far, with no end in sight. Weve already had one no-show repair appointment, followed by me calling twice a day for the remainder of the week. Despite an escalation to a manager, I still received nothing but empty promises. I finally convinced a customer service rep to just give me the contact info for the authorized technician and guess what - it will be almost another week before they can get out.Further escalation to the Executive Service team has been no better, with them finding a closer-in appointment and then having it disappear from the system seconds later. I am now waiting for a call back, in which I fully expect to be told sorry very nicely and expect nothing to be done. I would like a refund at this point, Ill take my $3000 and buy a better made fridge from someone else.

I bought a set of appliances from LG less than 2 years ago. First the stove failed after 6 months. They came and replaced the main board. Then dishwasher started acting weird. It sometimes work, sometimes doesnt depending on its mood! Called a technician who said it will cost $450.00 to fix. The biggest problem just happened yesterday. The refrigerator stop working. Everything in the freezer section became waste. About $400 - $500 worth of food got wasted. All 3 appliances failed less than 2 years time. Now, I do not really have money to get the fridge fixed. I have never seen anything like this before. I am giving 1 star because there is no 0 star! In the middle of summer, we have no fridge!

I bought an LG refrigerator in Sept 2016, it failed April 2019. I have been without a working refrigerator for over 4 months. They have attempted to replace the compressor 3 times, 2 of these times they also replaced the motherboard, each time its failed. LG told me that they would attempt to repair 3 times before a replacement would be issued. On the day of the 3rd failed attempt I called and was told that they were submitting the approval for a replacement. After not hearing back I called and Im now being told that each of those repairs fell into the same type of repair and that they will be sending a technician to try something different. Not until today was I offered a $150 credit towards a mini- refrigerator. Im being given quite the run-around, a different story each time I call it seems and Im at the end of my rope. How much time am I supposed to take off work to meet repair men, will they attempt this new type of repair 3 more times, then will they try something new? How long will this go on - a year? A refrigerator should last longer than 2.5 years, PERIOD. They are aware they are selling defective refrigerators. There are class action lawsuits about these compressors. Enough is enough. Send me a new unit or give me my money back.

I purchased a L.G. refrigerator model # LFXS29766S approximately 5 years ago. 2.5 years after purchase it completely failed and stopped working. This time however dealing with the customer service department had been horrible. I have now been without a working refrigerator for 3 weeks and have not heard from L.G. once. I have spent several hours on hold on many days just trying to get some help. Completely disappointed with the products life span. You cant sell a product for nearly 3,000 dollars and have it not work. Based on the current situation I find it difficult to believe that I will EVER purchase a L.G. product again. Currently Ive been placed on infinite hold because I asked to speak with a supervisor. Thanks Shawn/Sean # ** for your amazing lack of help and waste of time.

May 2018... My almost 2 year LG French door in black stainless steel stopped cooling. Find out because there was water all over the floor from the ice melting. Lost all my food from fridge and freezer. LG replaced the compressor which lasted 4 days and went out again so of course I lost more food. Had another technician come out and took apart the inside of the refrigerator and found there was a leak. He ordered the new part and LG contacted him and told him it wouldnt be in until the end of July. LG gave me option that they would pay for the remainder value of the refrigerator and deduct the years of use or I would have to keep waiting for the part. I opted to wait for the part because they were only offering me a couple hundred dollars for an almost $3,000 refrigerator. The technician knows that this is an ongoing problem that he has dealt with with many customers around MN. I finally have my refrigerator working as of July 14... Thats 2 months without. Now my worry is for how long??? Another issue is the black stainless steel finish is peeling off of the whole set (microwave, stove, dishwasher, and refrigerator). Tiny pieces are coming off in different areas. I dont know how they can get away with this???

Bought a $3,000 LG refrigerator and the day after it was delivered, I called LG to have it repaired due to the refrigerator arriving damaged with a broken drip tray. Was told I couldnt get just the drip tray, that I would need the entire door assembly and that a tech would have to install it. I have spent 3 days and over 2.5 hours on the phone trying to get this tray fixed/replaced. Finally, I was transferred to a supervisor who set me up with a local service company. The service company would not order the part or come to do the repair because they said that trying to get reimbursement from LG was almost impossible and that LG fought them every time they did a warranty repair on LGs behalf. The service company said they would do it if I paid COD. Why would I pay for a part and labor for warranty work? Called LG back and spent another hour on the phone with no satisfaction. We bought a washer dryer combo from Appliances Connection the end of November 2017. It worked until around Feb 1 2018. It displayed a error code OE. We pull out the owners manual and found out it was a full filter. We cleaned it and it worked for about 3 weeks. Again OE code. We cleaned filter again, not too dirty but the washer worked for week. OE again. Nothing in filter this time. We called LG. They try to walk us through the problem and could not get it to work. They called a repair person. It took 3 weeks for service. The repairman came out. My husband took the day off work to meet him. He was 4 hours late. He look at the machine for about 10 mins said it was fixed. 13 mins into cycle it displayed OE. He was still in our driveway. He went to work on it again. He never took the top off to look inside. 10 mins later he said, Ok its fixed. Went to do his paperwork. 13 mins into cycle OE. He had left. We called and said same thing was happening. Repairman came back 2 hours later. Never took the top off. Said its fixed. Left 13 mins later. OE. Call shop closed. Next day repair shop said it will be 10 days for new repair person. Same guy came out. Hes mad now. Pulled plug on the drain and flooded my floor hardwood. Never ever came to tell us. Took his shop vac and dump the dirt on my front lawn. I have pictures. All area rug soaked. 20 min no top off its fixed. He left. I called LG to tell them of our problem. After 23 calls and at least an hour on hold a piece they agreed they would send a new repair person. New repair person was to come on Saturday. No showed. I called him all day. At 5:30 he returned my call and said he never set an appt. with LG to come. He said he could come in an hour 6:30 at 7:30. John came was at our house for 2 mins. Said he new the problem and would order the part. 1 week later no news. Call LG. They cant help me. I need to call John repair guy. No answer from him. Days pass calling LG and John. Nothing. Weeks later John calls to say he never got the part. I call LG. They say he never requested it. LG said they need a part number to check on it and I would have to get it from John. Called John. No answer. Called LG. Nothing they can do. 2 weeks of daily calls to LG on hold about any hour on avg. John calls me finally the day after LG told me they were going to refund me for the washer and told me he had the part and was coming on Mothers Day to put it in 7 am. I told him we had church and brunch at 9 am. He assured me he would be there. He showed up at 9 am. We did not make church or brunch. 30 mins spent to not taken off. He cleaned the filter and said LG sent him the wrong part but the washer was working. It did work for 4 loads then OE code again. Called LG. Still no refund or replacement or a washer that works. I dont know what to do. We have lost 5 days of work. Over 200 hour on the phone with LG. 45 min one way to nearest laundry at $60 a week. And hundreds of hour of our lives.

LG Dryer Model DLEX3570W. I purchased this dryer less than 2 years ago. From the beginning it has made noises off and on and the drying times were not long enough to completely dry the clothes. Apparently the sensors dont really work, it is by time only and I have to go to manual dry to finish. My biggest complaint is the lint screen and compartment that it is housed in. The lint screen would stick up just a little on the right side and catch my clothes, some it has damaged. I finally found that the design of the compartment that the lint screen goes in has a design flaw. There are little cross sections that catch lint and build up which doesnt allow the screen to seat correctly. Once this happens the screen will be warped.I have to totally dismantle the compartment every 2-3 weeks to remove built up lint and force the lint screen down. I refuse to purchase a new lint screen because it will just happen again. However, all that being said, it is not just the damage to my clothes or the work of trying to keep the lint from building up around the design flaw. This is a fire hazard. I spoke with LG and they said they would send out a repair person but I would be responsible for the service. They have not redesigned the part so that is useless. I also have the LG matching washer, not crazy about that either. I will replace both of these and it will not be with an LG product. They dont stand behind their products and have zero customer service. If you have one of these dryers, beware!! They are a major fire hazard!!

I have two products of LG, first is Semi Automatic Washing Machine and second is LG Window AC, both are only 2 years old and they are not working properly. Earlier I had Whirlpool washing machine and it was too good, I never had any bad experience with that but LG is just opposite. I had purchased my Window AC in 2012 and last year only the gas was finished, I dont know how and why. Overall my experience with LG is very bad and I am not going to buy any product of LG in future. Also I never recommend LG to anybody. Just be careful of LG.

I have an LG dishwasher, stove, refrig and microwave in my kitchen. The stove, I love... The frig, I like. The microwave really works well. The only thing I would like to have that it dont is a quick min button. My other unit that was the button that we used 9 times out of 10. The dishwasher on the other hand, I have hate for. First of all, it never gets my dishes clean. It takes 2 hours to run and it doesnt get any of the dishes clean in that time. (JUST AN FYI... THE ENERGY SAVERS IS NOT ENERGY SAVING FOR THE CONSUMER... MIGHT WANNA DO A LITTLE RESEARCH ON THAT ONE) BUT ANYWAY...The LG dishwasher dont even rinse the dish soap off its own door. It is by far the worst dishwasher that I have ever had and I really dont have time to do dishes, thats why I have a dishwasher. My LG dishwasher has a lovely chime and thats all its good for. I have stuck a slice of cardboard in there with my dishes to see if it would even get wet... It had a few spots on it and it was a little damp from the high humidity during the disinfecting cycle (that by the way is so hot that I have had a couple of ceramic cups crack in half from the extreme heat). Second... be careful if you have one of these LG dishwashers because I opened it and let the door fall to its resting place so I could load it and the handle landed on the top of my foot and I had a large hematoma that turned black and blue covering the entire top of my foot for weeks from having it land on my foot. I thought it was broke to be honest. The thing is Im grown and life is hard enough to deal with manufacturers taking advantage of consumers by selling them products that dont work at all. Surely they did test on these and knew that they were unable to clean dishes. The thing is I use to love LG. Ive had several of their flat screens and of course I did my entire kitchen in LG... But for them to know that they made a shoddy product and not do right by the people that supported them by replacing the metal chimney boxes they sold us instead of dishwashers makes me sad... Ive spent months of my hard earned income on their products and to be swindled like this by them makes me so sad that even though I love their other products, I wont be supporting their company brand any longer. Its a warning... If you want clean dishes, do your kitchen with another brand!

I sure wish I came here before purchasing my LG LFXS29626 refrigerator... As has been noted, a little over 2 years (gee, theres a 2 year warranty... hmmm), the fridge died. puddles on the floor, which I thought might be from the water filter, began forming... Before I realized it wasnt cooling, $500 worth of food had to be tossed into the trash... 1 week later, a service guy fixed it (replaced the compressor, added coolant)... it now rattles, and it isnt cooling... they are coming back again on Weds (5 days from now) to try to fix it again... I dont have much faith. One thing I will say... CALL LG. They covered the labor and the part, despite being past the 2 years. Dont let them tell you theyll cover the part but not the service, as this problem is PREVALENT, and they are (Im sure) just trying to avoid a class action lawsuit at this point.
