I bought a refrigerator with an LG compressor in it in September of 2016. Two days ago it stopped working. I looked at the warranty, parts are covered for 1 year and the compressor is covered for 10 years. After I had a tech out to look at the problem the total cost to repair the fridge was $850 which included a free compressor that was covered under the warranty. The issue was all of the other parts that were damaged by the oil leaking out of the faulty compressor are not covered under the parts warranty. This is a total scam by LG who made inferior products. The tech told me the replacement would be the compressor that just broke and I would be back in the same spot 2-3 years from now. Does LG think 2-3 year for a refrigerator is a normal life span??

We bought a LG washer in 2009 and thank goodness we purchased the extended warranty. We have had so many problems and it has required numerous expensive repairs. In the first year under LGs warranty we knew it was a lemon. After four years of replacing numerous parts it is deemed irreparable. Our service person from the warranty company called LG and gave us a number to hopefully replace it. After six weeks of working with them we were given two reference numbers and felt confident that the problem was being solved and they had our initial sales receipt. We found out we have been working with a call center in the Philippines from a LG representative in Alabama. When I asked why they have indicated to us things were progressing he said you are dealing with people in the Philippines and they are going to tell you want you want to hear.In the end, I was told our washer had gone for final review and we would be contacted in 10 to 12 business days about its possible replacement since it is irreparable. When I called to find out why I had not heard back, I was given the run around again. It was only when I insisted several times on talking corporate that I learned we would have to go through the extended warranty company which was not the information we received at first. So for over six weeks we believed LG was handling this professionally only to find we had been given the run around and dealing with people who really did not understand what they were doing. I am very concerned about this kind of professionalism and why we werent told after numerous calls and all the information they had that they were not going to replace our washer. So if you have problems beware that even though you feel reassured the problem is being dealt with, it might not be. So why did they lead us on for five weeks and numerous phone calls? They could have told us initially we were on the wrong path.

I am at my wits end. I have an LG gas stove. I have already gone through 4 sets of knobs, the original ones, 2 sets that I purchased, and 1 set that LG sent (which they told me were now made better). The set LG sent me have also broken and I am turning my stove on and off with pliers. The reason LG sent me a free set was because I called them and told them I walked into my house and smelled gas and my husband and two grandkids were asleep which was unusual. The knob on the stove looked like it was off but because it was broke it didnt turn off the gas completely. If I hadnt come home when I did it could have been very serious. I am ready to call whoever I have to to get this problem resolved. This is a problem that could be deadly. These knobs should have been recalled a long time ago especially after reading the amount of complaints about this very thing. I look forward to your response.

I was told the linear compressor was a good reason to make this purchase. It was not and is a good reason not to buy LG refrigerators. They indicate a 10 year warranty on the compressor but fail to disclose you have to pay for the labor. I am now living out of an ice chest for the second time in 10 months. My advice to LG you know you sold a defective product, do the honorable and right thing and repair or replace at no charge. My fridge is 7 years old inoperable for the second time in 8 months so I am borrowing space in neighbor’s 25 year old Whirlpool. If LG wants my future business they need to clean up their past mistakes.

We have already had the dishwashers front panel replaced once because of mysterious stains that appeared (off white/greyish color) and now it is happening again. The shape of the stains are very odd and could not be splatter or drips. Is anyone else having this problem? I believe the stains are coming from within the door.... While trying to get a pic of stains, I just noticed my dishwasher leaks too!

Machine sounded as if it was gearing up for take off. LG ran a smart diagnosis over the phone and said everything was normal. I then ran a spin cycle and had the service tech listen over the phone and he said No way was that sound normal. As we live farther than 20 miles from an authorized repair service, our case had to be evaluated for repair or replacement. They replaced it and it sounds much different and improved. With the new machine, the liquid HE soap is not totally dispensing leaving gummy residue in the tray. The manual is not very clear on how much to use for what size load. I was told to use 1 Tablespoon for medium and 2 Tablespoons for bulky loads and that a small amount of water remaining after the load finishes is normal and to wipe it out of the dispenser trays after each load. Definitely not user friendly.

This is an expensive refrigerator, and it looks nice. BUT... the compressor wears out easily and makes a horrible loud vibrating/buzzing noise that drowns out conversation in the kitchen. After the first time it fails, LG charges hundreds of dollars to replace the warrantied part (service isnt covered) and then when the darn thing starts vibrating like crazy again just weeks after they fix it, they want hundreds of dollars to come out to replace the part again. And theyre rude about it.

I would give zero stars if I could. We bought all LG kitchen appliances less than 3 years ago. The oven and microwave are terrible. We are on our second microwave with them. I rarely use the microwave and while it was heating, it just shut off. It was most likely the circuit breaker and when that happens no reason to try to repair. We tried to buy another brand but we wanted to match and the sizes were off, so we spent another $300+ on an LG microwave and are crossing our fingers. The oven I never use because the temp is off. Its too hot and I either undercook or burn everything. Ive even tried thermometers something is off. My old oven and microwave (not LG) lasted over 10 years and I had no complaints, none! These new products are expensive and terrible.

LG High Efficiency Front load Dryer - I read through the complaints and have the same problem as many others. The only difference is my issue didnt happen right away. Ive had it a few years and recently it started making loud noises. I do OK with simple home repair so I opened the unit and found that the barrel was warped from a huge crack in the back seam that I couldnt see from the inside. Also over the agitators inside machine will start to develop a gap inside the barrel causing cloths to get stuck and twisted up ruining them. They also will trap change and other small items inside the agitators then make that noise as well. Why we cant have the old american made products again? Miss that.

The service was relatively quick and the technician was very professional. However, the refrigerator itself seems to be loud and poorly constructed especially in the stress areas where there is no reinforcement, just plastic (for example, the Glide N Serve drawer. Even the inner plastic is not very durable. I am very unhappy with the quality of this LG refrigerator - it is very upsetting especially to my wife.

When we built a custom home two years ago we thought we researched for the best front load washer available for our laundry room at the time. My wife and I decided that Consumer Report would be the best reference point. DO NOT GET LED DOWN THIS PATH. We purchased the Front Load LG WM8000HVA. After a year our clothes started to smell so we ran some cycles with bleach, then vinegar, then AFFRESH. Nothing helped... NOTHING.Just go online and see thousands of reviews for front load washers. I dont think it is just the LG. I think it is a problem for all front loads. My wife has a great nose and with that comes a lot of complaining. The solution was difficult but easy: I bought a new $1200 LG WT7600KKA yesterday from Best Buys in Louisville, KY. Giving our current front load to charity.

The LG refrigerator was on sale. It went beyond expectations. I like the color, ice maker, it was easy to clean and very spacious. I loved the freezer. It matched perfectly with my other appliances. The shelves were set perfect for large and small items. But heavy, loud, handle breaks easy. It was hard to move or slide, it was a real chore just to clean underneath it. You had to be very careful when opening and closing the door because of its weight. But I was very pleased with the refrigerators overall performance. I would definitely have another. It was easy to see what was in the refrigerator.

In July of 2010, I bought an LG LFX25961, 25 cubic feet. After 3 years, the ice maker broke down and started to freeze. The plastic had completed expanded inside. I had to manually operate the arm until this broke down too. I was about to replace the ice maker, when the freezer stopped working. I Called an LG certified repairman who showed me that the back was completed corroded causing the freon to leak. The compressor was burning hot. I was told that I could try to add freon but without any guarantee of the fridge lasting. I would be better off just buying a new fridge. He told me that most of his repairs deal with Samsung and LG which apparently are the brands taking over the big stores. I decided to buy a Whirlpool since it seems to have the least amount of repairs among all the brands. It could have been the case of a lemon, but some of my friends have reported issues with LG fridges. I was not aware that fridges need to be considered as disposable appliances and wont last more than 3 or 4 years. It appears to be the case however. I just bought a basic fridge with no water or ice dispenser. I can live without them. I will stay away from any LG kitchen appliances in the meantime and will not recommend them.

My LG dryer is a standard front loader no frills dryer that was relatively inexpensive when purchased over 3 years ago. The appearance rating was simply because it is pretty basic BUT for the money this dryer EXCEEDS expectations when it comes to reliability, performance, and value hence the superior rating in those areas. When it comes to dryers Bells & Whistles DO NOT improve performance, reliability, and definitely not value. My LG washer and dryer were purchased over 3 years ago as a brand new set from HHGregg in my area. I was told by the salesperson all the reasons I should upgrade and CHOSE not to. I have NEVER had an issue with the reliability of either. They work just as well if NOT BETTER than their counterparts that were 3x their cost.

Initially the LG double oven and 5 burner stove top looked amazing. It did just what we wanted it to do during the holidays. The super boiler burner is great. The double oven did everything we needed for the holiday dinners. The only problem is the burners turn on (Gas) with the least amount of pressure on the knobs. Other reviews have express the same danger and LG does not have a fix according to other reviews. I went to my local hardware store and bought springs that I cut to length and placed them behind the knobs to provide the need for more pressure to activate the ignition. Its a matter of time before clothing or other items get caught on fire. Especially with the Super Boiler burner.

Bought stove in October of 2016. Didnt have gas line installed until Dec, but noticed when we reached up to use microwave we were accidentally turning one or both burners on. Called J. C. Penney about problem but were told that no gas would be released until the knob was turned far enough to light the burner and we would hear the clicking and would have time to turn it off. When we had gas installed to stove we found that wasnt the case. Just a small bump would allow gas to release without warning. Very dangerous situation. At 64 years old we should not have to worry about such a problem. Spoke to J. C. Penney about the problem and were told if we had bought their warranty they could look into it. We were told to contact LG but are put in hold for literally an hour or more until I get frustrated and hang up. Wanting to know what consumer protection agency we can contact about the dangers of this stove. Havent used the oven enough to say if there are problems with that. Sounds like this should be a class action.

We bought our French door refrigerator around December of 2018 when we purchased our new house. We have loved our unit until one day both of the coils for the fridge and freezer part went out. I placed a repair order in August of 2020. LG outsourced the repair work to a local repair shop which was fine. Here it is 10/25/2020 and we are still without a refrigerator. I have contacted LG and the repair company numerous times and nothing is being done about it. LG has basically washed their hands of the whole situation and put it on the backs of the repair company. I got tired of waiting for the refrigerator to be repaired because we have a large family (family of 8); I called LG back once more and requested LG to replace or refund the money from the initial purchase. Since then we are going on 2 weeks and I have still yet to hear from LG as to what the decision is on replacing it or refunding the money. We was happy with the unit while it was working but since then it has been a complete nightmare and I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER LG PRODUCT AGAIN IN MY LIFE because of this incident. I hope my review helps clear the air up for anyone thinking about making a purchase of a LG product.

I purchased a $6,000.00 worth of LG appliances approximately one and a half years ago from Sears. The microwave oven (Model: 2085ST) now needs a replacement door panel not covered by the warranty. The microwave has had minimal usage (average use of once a week which equates to 60 uses). Upon attempting to resolve the problem using the LG customer service line, I was referred to a local service center which did not even work on LG appliances. Additionally, I was placed on hold twice and had to repeat my issue twice to rude employees. The quality of the appliance and the customer service is so poor. Evidently, the company has no responsibility to stand behind their products. I will strongly advise everyone I know to never purchase LG products.

You pay almost $4000 for LG appliance and dont expect them to stop working in a year. Beyond pissed. It sucks. Might as well just bend over. Why dont these major companies warranty their products better? You know why is because they know they will break. I could barely afford the appliances and they want me to pay more to insure LGs faulty products? Really? Im insuring LG? How messed up is that? LG refer LFX25973ST serial number 505TRJL34580.

You have to constantly monitor it or it will waste tons of water and electricity trying to fix the UE all by itself, usually with failed results. I have no idea why washing machine engineers have no idea how to keep a drum from spinning off balance. A couple of rollers or a track at the top would fix the problem for any washer. Idiotic to me.

Purchased in late 2011 as part of a range, fridge, microwave, dishwasher package deal from appliance warehouse. This is the third time Ive had to call for service and pay $60 charge each time on my homeowners warranty policy. The usual problem is burners that dont turn on and in the past, only a few would go out at a time, leaving me a workable burner or two. This time all are out and now the broiler is also down -- only the oven is working now. One service tech said the cables inside the panel were loose. How that happened, I don’t know because the range doesnt get jostled or moved around a lot. Another complaint within the first six months of purchase is an inside drip between the oven door double paned glass but Ive lived with ugly mess because the service tech couldnt fix it without taking the entire range to the shop for a week. But wait -- theres more LG product problems! The side-by-side door fridge problems have also cost me three service calls ($60 each). The icemaker frequently goes on strike for several months at a time and then on its own starts working again. Of course, this renders the ice dispenser constipated and totally useless. The cold water dispenser has the opposite problem and is often incontinent it keeps spewing water for several seconds after the drinking glass is removed.I believe LG must stand for Least Good and the range model number LRE30453ST must stand for Least Reliable Electric ** Stoves Terrible. I will never again purchase another LG appliance and recommend that other buyers also shop for another brand.

We purchased a French door LG refrigerator in Mar 2016. It was delivered and installed in Aug 2016. On Jun 15, 2018 the compressor went out. After an hour on the phone with LG customer service and contacting 12 different LG authorized repair people, none offered Saturday service. We finally found a local guy, willing to work on an LG refrigerator (MANY appliance repair people state on the home page of their website that they DO NOT SERVICE LG REFRIGERATORS or their outgoing VM gives this information). Within seconds of having the freezer torn apart, he confirmed that the compressor was out. We then spent the next two weeks, while on vacation, speaking with LG customer service and the repair person to TRY to get action towards a compressor replacement part before we got home. We arrived home to no compressor part and after ANOTHER call to LG customer service, found out that our claim had inexplicably been closed! WTH? I then barfed all over the LG USA Electronics Facebook page when the social media rep was able to get more information than 7 calls over two weeks with LG customer service had yielded. LG offered to pay for the part and the labor. Problem is NO LOCAL REPAIR PEOPLE ARE WILLING TO WORK WITH LG because they PAY SO LITTLE and this job will apparently take ALL DAY. So LG recommends this repair person who is an HOUR AWAY. It has now been two more weeks (yes, a whole month without a refrigerator or freezer in the heat of California summer) and STILL NO CALL that our repair is imminent. So today we call LG Customer Service again to find out the parts were delivered to the authorized LG repair person on Friday, July 13th and it is our responsibility to work it out with the repair person. To say that I am FURIOUS is an understatement. I want LG refrigerators BANNED from sale in California because of faulty manufacturing and beyond horrific customer service. LG is committing fraud. We did our research before buying this refrigerator. LG refrigerators received favorable reviews. BUT NOT SINCE WE BOUGHT OURS. LG apparently made a good product when the manufacturing was in S Korea or Mexico. Since moving their manufacturing to China, however, we are in the MAJORITY of people complaining about the shoddy piece of junk LG refrigerators now are. I want our refrigerator repaired so I can get rid of it and purchase a quality KitchenAid or Whirlpool refrigerator. WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING LG AGAIN AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE!!!

I have tried every mode, trick, time, spin mode combination there is and still the dreaded UE code comes on. Most of my family has LG refrigerators. We also enjoy the style that LG has that was why we went with them. We like the whole line, so we got the stove, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher. I like the fridges French doors and the way they open up to allow us to access the extra-wide fridge without swinging the door all the way open. Also, it doesn’t take up so much room in the kitchen. LG did a phenomenal job, but I had some issues with the black stainless flaking off. A rep came out to replace the doors, and that was phenomenal. But when they replaced the doors, one side doesn’t shut on its own anymore unless I slam it. I’ve tried calling them back a number of times, but there was no response. That part was disappointing, but the product overall, when it’s set and adjusted right, is phenomenal.

I purchased washer/dryer combo from LG in February 2018. Upon delivery, I left plastic covering on to protect machine, as I have a habit of doing this. Two months later, I removed cover and noticed numerous scratches all over cover of dryer. Calls were made to Best Buy in Levittown, as well as LG directly, over a period of months. I was informed these are cosmetic issues and not covered under warranty. I just want to reiterate the machine was delivered in that condition and not because of my use of machine. As a result, I did not get a satisfactory solution to my problem. Please note I have never given a bad review on any matter. This time, LG deserves this review. This review goes out to Best Buy in Levittown, as well, as the manager I spoke with was very rude and no help at all. I hope this helps anyone looking to purchase appliances.

Since day three of the installation its been malfunctioning, after seven times that theyve came to check supposedly they dont find anything wrong, my food rotting, theyve done some repairs, Ive been complaining I dont want this refrigerator because its been malfunctioning since the beginning (rotting my foods). Nobody has solved this problem for me, I want my money back or a new fridge, I bought it January 2019 brand new. I dont not recommend it at all. Too pricey to not end up working. I regret this purchase.

I find the cycles take a long time to run through and the clothes are not always clean. I have had to add extra cleaners to the washer to get large loads clean. When I add borax it doesnt always rinse out and I need to go back and rewash the load. The fact that it takes so long to do one large load is frustrating.

This refrigerator is horrible! It almost burnt my house down! I smelled a horrible smell and realized the lights in my refrigerator had melted the housing it was in on my refrigerator. It was falling off the top, the plastic all around it was melted and when I wrapped a light bulb with a towel, it still almost burnt my hand. All my food was spoiled. The food was hot, melted and spoiled. Im so glad I got this before a full blown fire started before going to bed tonight. After googling the problem, I see this has been a problem for years with lawsuits (successful lawsuits dating back to 2010) and still 4 years later this is still happening. LG needs to have better quality control. Do not buy LG!!

LG French Door Refrigerator/Freezer- This is the absolute worst appliance Ive ever owned, and Ive owned a bunch. 1st year of ownership computer board failed. Over next 8 years 3 fans went bad - out of warranty of course. Plastic door edge strips both had to be replaced - 5-7 yrs as the doors wouldnt close completely. Ice-maker was a real piece of junk - always jammed up and never produced a decent quantity of ice. Finally compressor went completely at year 12. Average life of unit is rated at 13 years - almost made it! Also learned that few techs will work on LG or Samsung because these units are not designed to produce error codes for diagnosis of problems. Also keep in mind, LG was formerly Goldstar, a very poor quality South Korean electronics company that was rebranded to LG because of their terrible quality and reputation. Run away quickly - you have been warned.

We bought an LG top loading washing machine in July of 2014. Initially, everything seemed to be okay, but after the warranty expired, the machine started showing the ue code. We tried everything the owners manual suggested to no avail. I contacted the LG service center and was told that it would cost 224.94 for a one time repair. That would have been acceptable, except that LG wanted the payment upfront! Now, I dont know of any business that requires upfront payment, except for special orders. We ended up calling a local service company for service. We will see how that plays out. He is scheduled for about two weeks. I will never buy an LG appliance again.

I have experienced the same as all the other consumers with their LG refrigerator pooping out after only a few years. I too am doing the waiting game for having my compressor fixed. I too have thrown out hundreds of dollars in food. All that frozen unfrozen meat right in the garbage. All the water from the ice maker going into my grout. Trying to find somebody to loan you a spare refrigerator. What I worry about now... is even using it after its fixed because what it sounds like is all these people are getting it fixed only to have it fart out and go through the same thing a month later. Im sad because I really love LG..Loved LG. I just bought a brand spanking new LG washer and dryer. Should I worry about that also?

The LG washer we purchased, while now out of warranty, is part of a recall for a potentially dangerous failure, where the drum spins unbalanced and out of control causing the whole machine to be violently tossed about. This has been a three week ordeal, so far. The service center has been very good but the part they need is on back-order, nationally. As of this morning 12/3/2015 Im told by LG that they have an anticipated arrival date of the 12/16. LGs customer service manager tells me that we have no options other than wait. Ever been without a washer for a month during the biggest holiday season of the year? I own an electronics repair shop. Among others, were Samsung authorized. If a part cant be delivered within 7 days, Samsung will ship a brand new TV to the customer. THATs customer service. At this point Im basically forced to buy a new washer, have the LG repaired in the garage whenever they can, and give it to a family member or friend that needs one. Happy holidays LG. Youve seen my last dollar.

I had a Samsung refrigerator and it last two years. I went through hell with Samsung because it was still under warranty and it took me three months to get that resolved. Then I bought this LG refrigerator and the compressor failed in it. But I called LG and it was handled the best way it could’ve been handled. I was very impressed. And service tech came out and fixed it. He was very professional and very good. He put a new compressor in it and the difference is night and day. The refrigerator has been running great since then and they got a loyal LG customer now because of the way they handled the whole situation. They backed the product, so I don’t have a problem and I’ll buy another one. My wife even told me that I had to talk to somebody and tell them how the experience was and how well it was handled.

Lg has a reputable service and quality and that is why I picked it as a brand for my fridge and Im looking to get other products with LG brand because I trust it. It is big and provides a lot of room for sodas and other tall containers. I have plenty of room to hold food and not worry about the food falling or busting on other containers. It also has plenty of room for fruits and vegetables. I would like to improve the way the refrigerator is divided among the shelfs inside, even though its roomy but it could use better build up because we need support there.

This dryer has ruined our clothing. I get so upset every time I use it, the damage it does is upsetting and ruins my day. The clothing gets stuck on the stupid lint filter because it will not go in completely, it sticks up on both ends just enough to damage clothing by twisting it until it breaks. I will never buy another LG product again, and I will be sure to spread the word. This dryer was expensive, I bought it because I expected it to dry our clothing without damage. What is wrong with this picture, this is America, why cant we get satisfaction from a company selling faulty merchandise. The thing constantly goes off balance and it honestly sometimes takes a WHOLE DAY to wash 1 load! We needed a new refrigerator to replace one weve had for a number of years.
We needed a new refrigerator to replace one weve had for a number of years. It was just fine but getting old. I was very attracted by the fabulous design of the new model of the LG. It had the features that I was looking for and I was very happy to find it. But we got a lemon from them. Weve bought two from Home Depot because we live in Hawaii and out in the country a bit. Were also far from major stores, so we buy quite a bulk then go once a month or so to the store. Out where we live, everybody has at least two refrigerators. The design features of the products are wonderful but right after the holidays, the second one that we got from LG that my husband and I mostly use overflowed in the kitchen. Also, it would cool then it wouldnt. My husband had some ice cream bars in the freezer part and they were melting. Hes an engineer and he had been always able to figure out anything and take care of it. But in this case, it wouldnt hold because its electronic and you have to have the part. So we called LG and they had nobody out here to repair it. Theyd have to go to Honolulu, back and forth, and we got very frustrated with that because the refrigerator would start then it would stop continuously. So, we finally called the local repairman who is known all over the area here and the first words out of his mouth were that they dont touch LG. I asked why and he said it was because they get no support. So, back we were to the LG number available to us, which is out in the Philippines. Thank heavens it was in the Philippines and not India, because the Philippines serviced us very well as they could at their point and tried to help us. They suggested this and that and were very courteous. But we fiddled with this and that and nothing worked out of the things that they were recommending. Finally, they started referring me to the home office in Alabama and I got shunted around from one extension to another. Then in March, they were telling me that they got somebody here on the island that could help us. So the person came out and said that he had to order this and that part from Honolulu. That went on for a week then he came back and did nothing. The parts didnt come and they gave me one excuse after another. In the meantime, the refrigerator is completely dead as well as the icemaker. LGs reps didnt appear again and we had more calls back and forth. After that, another person came out and said that he was gonna order something. But he ended up in an auto accident and I got the report that he was injured and that they had to get somebody else. We went back and forth again for this on May and we were into the fifth month at the time. The darn thing cost me $3,000 and I was getting frustrated. Then I was hooked up again via the Philippines, routed again back to Alabama, and then I was telling them again what was happening and what they gotta do. Then this secretary who was out in the front shielding the calls in the office told me again that I had to talk to customer service for that. So, I slammed the phone down and called the attorney. Bottom line, we got no satisfaction and they were not fully prepared to handle and accommodate the product out where they are selling it. The right and the left hand arent getting together sufficiently. I was beside myself because I was caught in the middle. I was listening to my husband who was fit to be tied and mad and an engineer who expects things to be processed properly and wanted the details taken care of. He was all over my back to get some results and I was trying to get results from LG but getting nowhere. We were in town on Tuesday and we decided to swing in to Lowes and see what they have because we were gonna buy a refrigerator to replace that one. I talked to the Sears island repairman who now deals with all different brands, except LG, and asked him what he would recommend and what brands he repairs. I was ready to have only a very economic and simple model for this second backup refrigerator. Im also hoping the LG that I have in the kitchen doesnt poop out on me after all the extra loading from everything we lost in the other refrigerator. So, I found a basic model from Lowes that they will attach an ice maker to, which is the number one thing for my husband. And they’ll have it delivered then the Sears man will service it. It was easily and simple, and cost about 1/3 of the price of the LG. I will never buy an LG again.

This product I paid $854.99 plus taxes and is upsetting to know this washer is done forever. I purchased on May 3, 2012 at Best Buy. I contact Best Buy they cant do anything about it because I dont have the protection plan. Really for a new washer, my grandmas washer is 15 years old and works fine. My husband contact LG they cant do anything about it because the warranty expired within one year of the date of purchase. So we contact Sears for $200. They came over to do the diagnostic so basically the top computer is outdated, running on the wrong setting, needs to be updated and we need to buy the top setting which is $500.00 plus labor work!!! So if we do this means we basically expending $800.00 if you do the math. DONT BUY LG.

So if youre not home to restart.. They smell! The dryer also seems to take a long time to dry. Who would think that products would decline in quality... With all this technology we have today!!! Purchased our LG LFX28968ST French Door Fridge (SS) and spent over $2K to have the compressor stop working and we lost hundreds of dollars in food and condiments. I tried to call the authorized repair person in my area who they gave me and never received a callback. I guess I am lucky I have tile floors and did not have water damage like some people have experienced. So now that I have cleaned out my fridge I am sitting on hold with LG customer service for about 15 minutes already and they still do not have any answers. Telling me that someone will call me back in 24-48 hours, meanwhile I am sitting with an empty fridge and the closest store is 12 miles from our house to get ice (not to mention the time). So now they are sending me a form and said to send in my proof of purchase for the Fridge (which I have and will do) but they said they will extend the warranty to cover the parts and labor. Lets see if this is honored.

Wish I had found this website before I purchased this nightmare of a dishwasher (Model LDT7797ST) at Costco. Unfortunately I was out of town and did not run it before the 90 warranty period expired and now I am stuck with this lemon. The problem is, except for one option, it shuts itself off in the middle of most of its cycles (it has numerous options such as half load, energy level, dirtiness of dishes) and does not clean or drain. The dishes are soaking when the one cycle that seems to run completes. LG did send out two repairmen who both said the machine works (as the motor does work and it can drain when its not running in a cycle) but it doesnt. I have spent hours on the phone with Costco (I have called them six times) and LG (I have spoken with them six times) and have missed work to have repairmen tell me nothing is wrong with the dishwasher, and I spent $900 on the purchase of dishwasher. I am so traumatized by this experience, I have stopped using the dishwasher altogether. Save yourself and go with another company!

Ive had my LG Top Load Washer 2yrs, 4 mo and couldnt be more displeased with it. As others have said, it gets out of balance nearly every load and doesnt wash anything very well. Often I have to wash a 2nd time. Today was the icing on the cake. It overflowed and flooded 3 rooms. I put it on pause and opened the lid, and it started draining water. I let it finish then turned it OFF and it went back to draining even more water in OFF. I pulled the plug and ready to send it off a cliff. NO MORE LG for me. First and last time!! Hoping someone else will read this (and the feedback from countless other discontented LG customers) before buying an LG product. We remodeled our kitchen two years ago and bought all new appliances, including one of LGs expensive refrigerators - model LXFS30726S. About two weeks ago the unit stopped cooling and we called LG to have it repaired (parts are covered under warranty after year 1, labor is not). A repairman came out four days later and deduced that we needed a new compressor and three other parts to fix it. Ordered them and gave us an ETA of one week to be back and have the repair completed. We had to text him on the day it was supposed to be fixed to find out that the part wasnt in yet. Called LG and was told by the hard to understand customer service rep that the parts had shipped and would be in the next day. That didnt prove to be true.Called again two days later and got the Escalation department (which apparently means the excuses keep escalating but the customer service quality does not). At least I could understand this representative, who called the repairman while she put me on hold and said she had confirmed with the repairman (he also works for LG) that the parts were in and hed be out in a week to fix it. We called the repairman because hed said he would be out as soon as the parts were in and we didnt want to wait another week - we have already been without a refrigerator for two weeks and he said the parts were not in and that he hadnt told the customer service rep hed be out the following Monday. So, basically LGs customer service representative lied to me just to get me off the phone. It is sad that such a large corporation cannot get its act together and is acting so shady in dealing with its customers. Im hoping that eventually we have a working refrigerator but not holding my breath at this point. This is apparently an epidemic with LG. Do yourself a huge favor and buy a different brand of refrigerator - we sure wish we had at this point.

This french door fridge (split doors, one fridge drawer and one freezer drawer) was bought in 2015. It has moderate space (the freezer section is a little small). It had to have the compressor and evaporator replaced in December 2018 right before Christmas. Cost of repair was cover by LG. Cost to replace all the food for Christmas that was ruined was covered by me. After that we put a small cheap (freezer on top) fridge in the basement and keep about half our food in it because we were told that this was a known issue and we could not be guaranteed how long before it would need to be fixed again. Its now October of 2019 (10 months later) and the fridge is once again not cooling. A tech is coming to look at it and we didnt lose as much food this time but no one should need two fridges to keep one fridge worth of food cold. I would strongly recommend avoiding LG or any fridge using a linear/inverter compressor. Other brands fridges with lessor warranties may cost less but are often still manufactured by LG with the same technology (which seems to be flawed or poorly manufactured). Our previous fridge was an old and ugly Kenmore but it had kept food cold for 20+ years with nothing but an annual cleaning of the coils.

I purchased a refrigerator, dishwasher and gas range for my new home that I moved in to in 2019. Close to 5000$. Of course they are all out of warranty now and during Christmas of 2021 pieces of enamel was being found in my food I was baking in the oven. Needless to say this has to be a manufacturers defect because nothing I have done would warrant chips of enamel falling off. I called they said, Nope its out of warranty. Even with the fact that we could have consumed some of the enamel they do NOT care. Even the man that I called about checking it out said LG was hard to work with. I am hoping to get this resolved soon being I can not use my oven for fear of consuming enamel. I bought my LG French door refrigerator in 2011 and its pretty much dead now. The ice maker was always flakey but we lived with it. The gasket doors started hanging up and we lived through it. Then ice maker stopped making ice. Ordered new ice maker but found out that it was not making ice because it was not cold enough. Cleaned the coils and it just slowly got worse. Ordered a temp sensor and the main pcb. Tried those parts but still not cooling properly. Called LG. I figured it was the compressor because I read that LG was using bad compressors. Paid a certified LG service provider 600.00 in labor to replace compressor.Called Friday and by Tuesday they were replacing the compressor, wow Im feeling good about now. Two guys 4 or 5 hrs later and calls to LG and they were told they needed the main pcb. I gave them the new pcb I had ordered and the same problem persisted. The compressor shuts down after 15 minutes. They said they would have to order another one from LG and come back. After not hearing for a couple of days I called them and ask them What was up? They said that they ordered but because LG was having so many problems with these compressors they were back ordered and they had no idea when a new compressor would arrive. They said not their fault call LG and ask them.Call LG but they were useless. They said they were not having any issues with bad compressors and dont believe anything you read on the internet. I asked What about the service provider? Is he lying to me? LG responds that it does not take much to become a warranty service provider just ask to be one. No training. Wow! LG pretty much said 7 years is the lifespan of their products and then they become legacy and put at back of the bus. They will provide parts if they can get them. I own a LG55 inch tv that fail after about 5 years, found a main board out of Nova Scotia and was able to repair that. If it wasnt for that it would in the trash. So here is the problem I paid the service provider to replace the compressor and LG provided the part but if they have to come back to do it again who pays for that? LG can send another compressor but theyre not paying for the service. The service provider had two guys for about 4 to 5 hrs. Why would the service provider work for free? I can see this evolving into cant get parts from LG and LG saying they have no issues supplying good parts forever and never repairing my fridge. Thank god I did not but an LG exploding phone. It took them forever to recall those phones!

Last Friday night at 6:00, I discovered that the food in my refrigerator was getting warm. The thermostat said 37 degrees in the refrigerator and 0 degrees in the freezer, but food was warm in the refrigerator and things in the freezer were melting. I started calling appliance repair services. Most were closed at 6 PM but the ones who did answer said, Sorry, but we cant work on LG appliances. I asked, Why not? I was told, Because LG will NOT ALLOW us to be a part of their service network and LG will NOT let us buy parts. The repair services said that they had filled out apps and had been jumping through hoops for LG for 1-2 years without success. Because of LGs policies, I lost $400-500 worth of food and am FORCED TO BUY A NEW REFRIGERATOR. Today, Monday, the other repair services that I had left messages for Friday night have been returning my calls and ALL OF THEM told me the very same thing about LG service policies. LG forces customers to call LG and LG sends a repair person (you have to wait days) who charges 2-3 times the going rate, and LG charges sky high prices for parts. The repair services said to buy a Whirlpool, Amana or Kenmore instead because parts are readily available and less expensive. Whirlpool donates to Habitat for Humanity, too. GE parts are the highest, except for LG.

We saw the LG refrigerator in the store and we were interested in it. It has the French door and the under freezer, and we had a normal purchasing experience when we got it. Its been working well so far but we had to have some work done on it because the compressor failed. They fixed it under warranty though.

After 4 1/2 years, after buying 4 matching stainless steel appliances for the new home, my refrigerator started making loud noises, like an airplane landing. We knew it was a problem, but didnt have a real sense of urgency because the fridge was still cooling; figured wed attend to it when we had time. Then it began cooling inconsistently. Then it finally crapped out. We called customer service and they had us contact the approved list of repair companies. I took the day off, had the repairman look at the fridge (and I do mean LOOK AT it, as he didnt have the parts on hand), and was told it was the compressor that failed and the work would cost over $1000! The part was covered under our 5 yr warranty, but the work was about the cost of a new fridge and wasnt covered. So, the $200-300 part is covered but the $1000 work to install isnt? Gee, thanks, LG!After looking at what a new comparable one would cost, we couldnt find one and came to the disappointing decision to just go with the repair. The repairman was very nice and said this isnt the first hes seen and doubts itll be the last. So VERY disappointed in LG for making such a flimsy, unreliable product! I was a big fan of LG previously - having had a TV, Blu-ray disc player, etc. - and had NO problems, so I thought that competency would apply to all their products. Very wrong and very disappointed.

We bought an LG Front loading washer and dryer from Sears about 1 1/2 years
We bought an LG Front loading washer and dryer from Sears about 1 1/2 years ago. We immediately encountered sporadic occurrences of what looks like oil streaks from the washer. We called Sears and they sent someone out, who replaced the tub and some other items, and also told us to use a different kind of detergent. A few months and a few ruined items of clothing later, we called Sears again and they sent someone out who replaced a bunch of stuff again. They then sold us an extended warranty on the washer. We thought Sears sold it to us, but it turns out we bought it from LG. So the problem has continued and weve called LG, who is telling us that our complaint doesnt fall under the terms of the warranty, that we are complaining about cosmetic outcomes of the laundry. Crazy us, expecting a brand new washer to clean our clothes and not leave grease streaks. They have been horrible to work with. They are offering to refund the warranty which, of course, allows them to walk away from us completely. I guess well need to try and get Sears back involved, as technically we brought this to their attention under the original warranty, and it never was resolved. If you are considering buying LG, I hope you have better luck than weve had. I will never buy another product that says LG on it.

Purchased a double oven model # LDG3035ST/01, within the first year the top oven kept giving a F9 and F11 code and the oven wouldn’t heat past 100 degrees-so we started only using the bottom oven which now gives us the same code. We basically only use our range for the cooktop. So disappointing and we never will buy a LG product.

After spending almost $2000.00 for this unit it developed a sealed system leak. The refrigerator is 3 years old. The service man said we could spend $300 to $500 to have it recharged but it might only last 2 weeks because the leak is in the sealed system. LG would not help pay for the repair service since it was a sealed system leak. Beware, LG only covers parts not poor workmanship.

We purchased an LG LDF8072ST PREMIUM dishwasher from Best Buy on Dec. 12, 2012. Since it has been installed, the performance of this product has been terrible. The drying cycle is terrible and when I contacted LG, I was informed that this was the way it was supposed to work because it is a new advanced HYBRID drying system?? Even when we put it on extra dry, it still did not dry the dishes. With the performance still terrible, 4 weeks ago, the dishwasher quit working completely. When I contacted the LG online chat service feature, it was a joke. I spent more time verifying that I had bought a dishwasher than anything else. He finally determined that my dishwasher was Shot and he ordered a technician to come out. 10 tens later, a technician from a local repair facility came out, and he verified my dishwasher was not working??? He brought no replacement parts, but verified the unit had crapped out.Two weeks later, he returned with a main board and got the dishwasher running. He tested a few cycles and declared it ready to go. I was out of town and my wife was leaving that afternoon, so she loaded up the dishwasher and started it before she left. When I got home three days later and opened the dishwasher, the dishes were still wet????? This is the first dishwasher that I have owned that drying dishes as part of the cycle is part of the dishwasher!I have gone on LGs website and written to them and have not heard back! For what they charge for their products, I would expect a better support/service system in place. Dealing with LG is as bad as dealing with Sears in the past. If this is not resolved, I will do my research and make sure my replacement dishwasher dries dishes and is not an LG.

My husband and I bought our home in 2008. The sellers had purchased Lg appliances one year earlier. We noticed our food was warming intermittently then to discover the light was not going off with the door closed! The melted plastic and fixtures were not repairable. We were told that this was an issue LG knew about, but because we did not hold a receipt, they would not do anything to help us. We also had to replace the electric stove because the glass top burners stopped working at 2 years old. We also had to have a repair to the dishwasher because the electrical harness inside the door melted!!!! We strongly recommend NOT purchasing LG appliances.

We originally purchased our LG LRE3061BD range in September of 2017. Within a week of owning it the cooktop cracked. We called to get a replacement but being as it was a newer model the replacement tops were backordered several months. Going several months without a stove would not work as we are a house of 5 and I need to be able to feed our littles. We went out and purchased another one of the same model as all of our appliances were a matching set.Now fast forward to today and our cooktop is cracked AGAIN. There was no moment where we saw it crack. We went to the stove which was off at the time and saw the crack. I have owned several cooktops over the years and have never had the glass crack before. Now Ive had the same model crack twice in two years. I called LG and they informed me that it was no longer under warranty. They also told us that there is a recall on this particular cooktop for the burners not working properly. After hanging up and researching the replacement part I called LG back. If Im going to Shell out another 350.00 for a replacement cooktop I want the recall fixed as I dont know if this could be what is causing the glass to crack. When I call back I speak to someone else who now tells me there is no recall on this model. I dont understand how in 5 minutes there is such a drastic change in the information Im being given. I ask to speak to a supervisor and I am placed on hold. The man gets back on and says that he spoke with his supervisor and has escalated the call and a supervisor will call me back. I asked when they will be calling and he says that it will be 24-48 hours for the message to get to the supervisor and for them to call me back. I explained to him that this would not work as I either need to order a replacement now or go get yet another new stove to be able to cook for my littles. He says it takes that long for the message to get to the supervisor.I explained to him that in this day and age with email and phones it does not take 48 hours for a message to get to someone. He puts me on hold again and tells me he spoke with his supervisor again and he will review the information and call me back in a few minutes. That was almost an hour ago. We shall see if they call back and if it goes anywhere. I would not recommend purchasing this product. I believe the small triangles in the glass are playing a toll on the structural integrity of the glass. This is the only difference between the cooktops I have owned previously and the two that have now cracked. I am not hard on my appliances and it breaking twice in two years is unacceptable.

I thought I had done my research on what appeared to be a well-designed product. I have had my LG French Door Fridge 26 months, with no less than 14 repair issues, including the right-hand door gasket (four times), and the right-hand freezer door bracket (twice). We are a busy family with three teenage boys, but we keep a spotless kitchen and are not hard on our appliances. The fridge appeared well-designed and fit our tight kitchen, but it has been problematic from day one.The new models seem to address the issues I have had, but LG has passed the buck after year one to the extended warranty company. Warranty service through private contractors has been mainly poor. Response from Home Depot has been mediocre, until I asked for a truck to return the fridge, or said I would drop it in their parking lot myself. I looked at our old fridge to see what broke, and this one seemed to have been built much better, but what a mess. Buy from a private appliance dealer with a service team. This model was available at numerous locations, large and small. Any brand you buy will only be as good as those who back it.

We bought a new LG refrigerator in November 2019. April 24th the ice maker stopped working and the refrigerator was making a loud grinding noise all the time. We had also bought a five year warranty plan - dont do this! We called to let them know and ask for a repair technician, and were told to watch a tutorial. This was not helpful. We called back and asked again for a technician. We were given a reference number. I finally called again on 4/28 and were told it would take five business days for someone to contact us back to let us know if they found someone in our area who could fix the fridge. That means we are now looking at a week! We told them we really needed to have someone come sooner and not let us know if they found someone a week later. They hung up on us.We called back and asked to speak to a supervisor (Julian) - who also hung up on us. We also could not understand them clearly. They had us on speaker and a heavy accent. We called a fourth time that day and finally got someone who looked again and there was no one in our area who could fix the fridge. Lowes - where we bought it from was NO help. They just send you to the LGs customer service line. I will NEVER buy another LG product again because they dont have technicians to fix their products and their customer service people are very rude and not helpful. I am so upset we have a six month old refrigerator and have problems already.

We purchased an LG top load model WT55101H washer in August 2011. By the following year, we started having problems with the UE feature and it would continually add water to try to balance itself. It took hours to wash. It would stop on UE several times. Finally I would remove dripping wet clothes and wring them in sink by hand. I responded to a recall letter in early February. Sears sent 4 repairmen and I made 5 appointments (one no show), always between 1 and 5PM. This went on until March. Sears spent over $1,000 to fix a $900 washer and to this day it has never worked. It kept showing UE. One of the worst features or sensors someone can place in a washer. I will never buy an LG product from South Korea and currently being sold at Sears right now.

This went on several times until the warranty ran out so I had to purchase a second warranty and finally LG sent another company out to work on it. They had several tries at it. Now that warranty is up and still not fixed I try to call customer service. They put me on hold over one hour, they never answered the phone. LG gas stove LRG30355ST - I bought the stove model above in April of 2007. Fifteen months after, the middle knob broke. I called LG to ask for a replacement. I was hoping that they would accommodate my request since it was only 3 months after my stove was a year old. Well, LG was very cold and told me to purchase one which was then $75. To this day, my stove is missing a knob. One other knob is also very loose that a slight nudge will turn on the gas without turning on the flame. I have to keep checking that the knobs are all in off position. The burner caps are also an issue. After two years, they are chipping off here and there but usable. I did not bother to call LG after the cold response in 2008. This LG gas stove model is a piece of junk and the knobs are a safety hazard.

Our family purchased a LG refrigerator four years ago. The refrigerator retailed for two thousand dollars. We started to have problems with the unit after two years with ice build-up on the back. After contacting LG they told us to defrost the fridge. We did that every four months as needed. Now after just four years we woke up to the refrigerator at forty degrees and everything melted in the freezer and now all the food has gone bad. The last refrigerator we owned lasted fourteen years when we gave it to our son still working. Today we spent literally five hours on the phone with service and tech dept. until I wanted to cry in frustration. Two months ago the washer filled up and would not spin or drain. I had to have one of the kids wring the water out of the clothes pc by pc. I contacted a friend that did appliance repairs and asked for some help. He wasnt able to arrive for a week, after which time it was discovered it was the drum of the washer. I contacted LG and they said not to worry that it would be covered as a lifetime coverage. Great! Next problem I bought this off of co-worker and his partner that they had it for about a year prior but was going into a home foreclosure and sold it to me. I didnt ask for the receipt at that time not thinking it was an issues as they bought it at our local Home Depot just around the corner from us both. So as I am speaking with the LG Rep on the phone, she takes my info and then says okay I have everything I need, now we just need your tech to call in the repair call so it can be further processed. I explained the whole story as I did not have receipt and that it was never called in as I was the owner. She said thats okay, not to worry, that wouldnt be an issue. My friend calls in the problem to them, they tell him okay; its covered but all they need is a proof of purchase. Not so easy, the co-workers partner had passed a year ago and there was no remembering what CC was used to purchase or what phone number so Home depot has no way to track it. Needless to say months later, still no washer and now since I am on a fix budget as a single mom, I now have to use a laundry mat to do our laundry, very hard after many years. Its the freaking drum that is cover and I can show them exactly which store the Serial Numbered Washer was purchased from but that is not good enough after one rep said it wasnt a problem. I have told my friends and family, not to waste their time with LG Products as they too will run into POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Nothing but a run around and ** just to get out of the lifetime coverage. Avoid LG if you want better quality. Go with Maytag, I had one for over 10 + years!!!!

Of course, the water situation repeats until somebody realizes and turns the ice-maker off. I purchased my LG Waveforce washer from Sears (thankfully it was on sale). I have the same problem as the Shannon in LA. Takes forever to wash a load, from the error codes. This started from the beginning and I called LG and every time they came out it would not duplicate. Finally after months of this and many phone calls to LG, they actually replaced it. Same thing. I just gave up and have been dealing with this washer for about 4 years now, waiting till it completely dies and I can buy a new washer. I sure do miss my old Kenmore that had a ringer in the middle. That one got my clothes clean. There is never enough water to get the clothes really clean, if and when it finishes washing which takes double time because it stops and starts over. The only setting I use is the bulky/bedding one because it uses the most water. I can never leave the house once I start a load, because it would never finish. Thankfully its only me, dont wash much and I sit near it, so I can hear when it ** up. The clothes smell moldy after washing them, and the machine is always smelly after a wash. Yes I put up with it for this long but when I went to ConsumerAffairs and saw all the complaints on this model. I called LG who promptly told me it was out of warranty and I could buy a one year warranty for $349.00 or a 60 day warranty for $224.00. I purchased an LG French door refrigerator for my newly remodeled kitchen in December of 2008. During this time, I have had 9 service calls - 8 of which pertained to the water system. Each time, there was leakage in the rear of the appliance which remained undetected for some time since the fridge was built in. When finally discovered water had been sitting on my hardwood floor for days and days. The plastic water tube along the back of the appliance split twice and water valves failed 3 times. After awhile the sitting water eventually seeped into the underlayment of my hardwood floor and wicked its way out and under the floor of the eating area of my kitchen which then warped the floorboards terribly. I now have a warped, bumpy floor, very noticeable and will have to spend $3,000 to have the entire floor redone. After repeated attempts for relief from LG, I was told I had not saved all the broken parts so I had no evidence and therefore they would do nothing. Who saves the broken parts once they have been replaced? NEVER, NEVER purchase an LG refrigerator. Every time a serviceman came over he said Oh ya, LG is no good. This is not the first time I have had water and ice in the door. My last fridge was a Kenmore and never saw a sign of a leak. AGAIN, NEVER, NEVER buy one of these refrigerators.

I purchased 5 Major LG Appliances (Range, Washer, Dryer-both with pedestals
I purchased 5 Major LG Appliances (Range, Washer, Dryer-both with pedestals, Dishwasher and Refrigerator) in August of 09. Right away the appliances started giving me issues. The Dryer would not dry completely, due to me calling so many times, a tech was sent and told me not to use dryer sheets, um ok. I then received a part, a whole electronic panel in which I didnt even know was coming with no one to put it on. I still just have to dry my laundry 2 times to completely dry. The washer has had several parts replaced, I actually ordered the parts online since LG gave me the run around. The refrigerator works but has issues with the way it was built, cheaply! The dishwasher does nothing close to washing dishes. I rinse everything before it goes in and they come out dirty, like they were soaking in a mud bath. The MAJOR complaint is the LG LRE30453 Range. It is dangerous. I have called for over 2 years about this range overheating, both the burners and the oven. I was told to unplug, to reset the breakers, leave off 10 minutes, reset temperature but holding down the bake key and adjusting the temp up or down. I have done everything and it does not work properly. The range heats up to 600 degrees no matter what temp it is turned on to. It does not give an error code and it does not lock like it would if it were overheating, there is also a fuse that is supposed to blow if it gets too hot, per the tech that finally was sent this week, per LG extending my warranty on parts and Labor. The tech said that, due to the range being RECALLED, as well as the amount it would cost to fix it, that he would deem it unrepairable and LG should replace it. WELL, LG called this morning and let me know they were going to send me a check for $253.43 plus tax for my range and for me to Scrap the one I have now. I told them that was not acceptable and would not cover the price even of a generic brand and I wanted a supervisor, they had Michael, supposedly a supervisor called me and he gave me an extra year on the warranty to up the amount to $375.14 plus tax (403.25), but he wants me to send the range to LG, wait 3-6 weeks for them to review the range, then send me a check for the stated amount. I asked if they were going to cover meals during that time and he snickered and said, um no maam, we sure wont. I am SO furious about this. The tech said the range could be fixed but, in his line of work, he will usually deem it unrepairable if the cost to repair will exceed the price of LG replacing it for the customer. Well, now I am screwed, LG needs to either fix my range for 1500 or replace it for the 800 I paid for it on sale.I was on the phone with LG , 4 different people, hung up in 2 times after waiting on hold for their escalation team to answer. I called the 3rd time, got a lady names Ross and sat on hold for 25 minutes before she came on the line to tell me that she was reading my notes and I already talked to Michael so, there was nothing to be done. I asked about the escalation line again and she was very rude, and acted like I just wanted a new stove because mine was scratched or the paint was chipped, due to the lady taking my techs call RMAd the range and put due to paint chipping...I guess that was the easiest thing to pick to devalue the range the most. My tech called them and let them know he did not deem it unrepairable due to paint, that was just an issue from the overheating of the unit and it was UNUSABLE not cosmetically damaged like they reported that he claimed. He actually called them from my kitchen on speaker phone to describe to them the issues. Ross then very rudely gave me a number to call the escalation team myself and the phone rang and rang, to finally a recording of, this department is closed, please call back in normal business hours. I was on the phone with these clowns ALL day, with the supervisor Michael telling me that this week is the first time I have ever called them. Funny how all my calls disappeared once I called them out on not notifying me of the RECALL on this lemon of a range. I then referred back to my dryer issue and they acted like I was crazy. I guess at this point, I AM CRAZY, and broke from eating out and ruining food and pots and pans. LG is a JOKE. Life is NOT good with LG, they stink and do NOT stand behind their overpriced headaches of appliances.

Purchased the Refrigerator in October-2016 after we flooded. The refrigerator stayed in its box that it was delivered in until December 2016 when it was installed. In April-2019 the refrigerator quit cooling and we lost all of the food that was in the refrigerator. We called and reported it to the company and made an appointment for someone to come and look at it. No one showed up for the day we set the appointment in which my wife stayed home the entire day waiting on.We called that evening or the next day and was told it would be the next week before someone came out because the part wasn’t in. The question at that time was what part was ordered because no one had been out yet to see what was wrong with it. Someone did show up the next week and changed the compressor out. Since then the refrigerator makes a loud noise when the compressor kicks on. We have called back about the noise and someone came back and looked at it and thought he fixed it. It still makes the loud noise and we have called again but no one has come out to look at it again.

LG has dramatically lower reliability ratings in Consumer Reports than any other major brand. I owned an LG refrigerator that after eleven months and 25 days (five days before the warranty ran out) developed water leaks in two different areas and failed to chill in the cooler section. The company would not stand by the warranty. Executive customer service is a weasel nest, arrogant and totally non-responsive. Run from any retailer that handles LG.

It has a freezer and the ice cubes comes out. Most of all my favorite part of my refrigerator is the fact that it has a tablet built into the door is amazing. It was totally worth buying. I didnt like the fact it was so small, after I would go to bjs my food wouldnt fit in the freezer. I had to buy a deep freezer to put in my kitchen. I like the colors it came in. I got it in a aluminum color. It was also black available. I prefer LG over anything. All my tvs, acs, phones I purchased from LG. They have good products. My home security system is from there my fan. They have a good customer service. If Im having a problem they wont end the call till my problem is solved.

This is the worst refrigerator I have ever had. Customer service is also awful. I would have given this product zero stars if possible. After owning this refrigerator 7 months the ice maker in the top froze and was leaking water. The water was leaking on the floor and also into the bottom freezer. LG solution was to send someone to repair it. So we have had the same problem and it has been repaired at least 8 times. The last technician told me to disconnect the top ice maker when I told him I can’t even put new floor in my kitchen because my floor will be ruined by this refrigerator. Worst refrigerator and customer service ever. I will NEVER purchase an LG product again. This is a very common problem with this refrigerator. The model is LFXS29626W.

The refrigerator is great, the ice maker on door to give more space. The temperature is consistent. The 2 bottom freezer makes it easier to open. The sale price is good for the money. Top shelf slides back to open to fit a gallon jug.

My dishwasher started beeping and turning off mid cycle. This dishwasher is only a year old. I also have noticed more people have the same issue with dishwashers from LG. I Paid too much money for to be experiencing this after a year of use.

What an awful experience it is getting service from LG, they are the worst Ive encountered. My $2000 LG fridge stopped working July 4th and it was stuffed with food the technician who came said he could repair the fridge so he would have it taken away. He made up a story about why he couldnt fix it but most likely he didnt know. The fridge is 3 years old and so he charged me for the collection and now he says its the compressor. The 10-year warranty doesnt appear to apply to whats wrong and he says that LG dont have a compressor to supply him? Ive lost my fridge all the food and I have no respect for LG. I called their marketing department but the lady answering the phone hung up on me after I called to complain. Great customer relations LG.
