Purchased LG fridge (LFX25991st) in December 2013 for $2,500. December 2015
Purchased LG fridge (LFX25991st) in December 2013 for $2,500. December 2015 evaporator fan & control board went out. Cost $500. July 2017 the exact same issue. This time Sears repair parts & labor $800. Sears tech. informed us that this was a documented service alert and that there was a design defect in the air-flow cover assembly which has been corrected. Now, three weeks after the $800 repair ice maker is no longer working and the freezer is not working. There should be a lemon law for appliances. LG is a zero on customer service. This is the worst piece of garbage I have ever owned and deeply regret purchasing an LG product at all. I will NEVER EVER purchase an LG anything again.

Many LG Models with the Linear Compressor have failed and settlement to a Class-Action Lawsuit has been reached. But, any compensation will pale to the hassle and cost of your refrigerator failure. Here is my experience: 11/17/20 - My LG refrigerator stopped cooling. It is 3 years old and still under warranty. 11/19/20 - contacted LG and requested service under the warranty. LG contacted a service company and set an appointment for Monday 11/23/20. 11/20/20 - The service company called to inform that the service technician would not come until Tuesday - 11/24/20. 11/24/20 - Tech failed to come within prescribed time, and no courtesy call from the service company. I called the service company and was told they will try to find out where the tech is and call me back with info. By 8:00p that night, no call was returned. Called service co and left message to call me back. 11/25/20 - No call from service co by 1030 am, so called LG again to request service. LG re-contacted same Service provider, and stated that I would get a call to set up appointment that night. LG made Complaint #: ** 11/25 at 2:00pm - Still no call from provider. Called provider again and was told tech would arrive between 5:00p to 8:00p.11/25 at 6:00pm - Service provider called to inform that tech was cancelling again. They could reschedule for another time after Thanksgiving. Told service provider that I will recontact LG, as the service provider was not reliable and confidence to have the company on home site was gone. 11/27/20 - Contacted LG to request service from another provider. Was told it will take an additional 3-5 days to send my request to Field Services before I can get another schedule. Informed that this run-around has gone on too long - Thanksgiving food (hundreds of $$$) are spoiling. Requested LG to replace refrigerator now. LG stated that would not do so until they get a Technician out to look at it - yet as of now that isnt even on the schedule. As of now I own a $5000 bread box.

I owned LGs LFX23965ST for about 18 months. For the last 6 months, the ice machine has not worked. It started diminishing in ice production and then just quit completely. I have tried resetting the default temps, unplugging for several minutes and replugging, changing the filter, and verifying the water supply line, but nothing helps. Water dispenses normally, but the ice maker is a complete flop. Then I read about how another customer was thrilled at LG sending a tech to his place to replace the motherboard that operates the ice maker (amongst other things Id imagine) because this problem is one that LG has known about for some time. Yet to me, they simply replied that there was nothing I could do and that I needed to schedule an appointment. So lets see. Should I continue using my 50 cent ice tray in the freezer or call in their $150/hr tech? Hmm. If this had happened to a car maker, theyd recall it and make good on repairs. LG? Never again will I buy this companys appliances.

This is the worst piece of crap I have ever spent money on. I have only owned my washer for 2 1/2 years and it constantly gives the UE (error code) because it gets off balanced and adds water to compensate for the balance. It will repeat the water and spin cycle over and over until it gives this code. I will never recommend this brand to anyone ever again. I cannot afford to spend $800 on something that doesnt work right. Never buy an LG True Balance washing machine. They are anything but true or balanced!

I purchased the LG Probake gas range 2 1/2 years ago. Of course after a year the warranty was up and I had to have it repaired. It cost 300.00 to repair and it is very hard to find someone to work on it. I was told LG doesnt have spec sheets for anyone to repair their products. It makes it hard. I was also told that it is hard to find parts as LG Discontinues them frequently. Got it fixed in December of 2019 and here we are again. The convection oven stopped working and was shooting out flames. I researched and found out this always fails on this range. Totally disappointed. Couldnt find anyone to repair it in my area and I tried to order the part for it and spent an additional 80.00. Still can not get it to work. Now I am at the point of buying a different range and definitely wont be an LG. I am so upset. I wasted my money. It was the first brand new range I purchased for my family and I have only had it for 2 and a half years.

LGR4113ST - I love how this oven bakes/roasts at such an even temperature. However, the front knobs turn much too easily (they only need to be pushed in maybe 1-2mm). I called after I inadvertently turned the gas on, while reaching for a spice, to see if there was a retrofit, but was told no. My kids late teens/early 20s have all accidentally turned the knobs on the range, and Ive come home no less than three occasions to my home reeking of propane. I thought there were laws in place to prevent such hazards. Do not buy this if you have little ones as its much too dangerous.

LG Gas stove - bought this year - I just walked into the kitchen and smelled gas. This is the fourth time this has happened. I didnt use the stove today, so someone must have accidentally brushed against the stove and slightly turned the knob. There is no safety apparatus to alert you to the knob turning or that gas is leaking (stove doesnt automatically light). I cant believe in this day and age that this appliance passed any safety inspections. Thank goodness I dont have any small children, Id get this stove out of the house immediately. As it is, I frequently go into the kitchen just to verify that none of the stove knobs are turned, I am now paranoid we are going to blow up...

I just purchased LG Washing Machine (412 SS /12 KG). This washer has so many deficiency and crazy programs as it was designed by a kid. Its drum is NOT adjusted and leveled with rounded rubber in front of it. You will never see drum is hanging down. When started it doesnt release water, but it releases water in burst so many time and it waste so much time. Drum keeps turning without water or just barely wet for about 5-6 minutes, depend on its useless programs. Half of its programs are dedicated to Steam-Wash. So if you dont use Steam, half of its programs are completely useless, while they could have add just one steam-key as an option to all programs.WORST OF ALL: it doesnt release enough water to clean the clothes. In fact there is no standing water in washer. They are just barely wet and there is NO option to add water in any program. So as a result I have to wash my clothes twice every time. Completely waste of time. Inside washer is so dark, and you cant see inside to know whats going on. Each program is unnecessarily too long. It just sits idle and does nothing or it spins in one second burst-like and stops or it turns in weird manner not seen in other washers. It sometimes turns too fast, and clothes are just attached to inside drums wall and they dont go through churning motion. It doesnt spin after each rinse to extract detergent. As a result if you dont wash them twice, clothes will come out with powdery stuff on them after dried up.There are no options to had rinse or fast spin to any program. Inside drum surface is NOT smooth, and has rough edges to touch on each and every holes as if they are done from outside to inside rather than inside out to make smooth inside surface. These many rough surfaces will absolutely wear and damage clothes. In addition there is another double horizontal line with rough edges across inside drum, and no one knows what it is for. This is very NOISY Washing machine. So-called OPTIONS on these washer are just that. If you want to change temperature, for example, then other options also change on its own without giving you choices or options are limited when programs are changed. Brief summary of this awful washer is: it doesnt put out enough water to clean the clothes - just make them wet, each program is too long, no option to add rinse or spin. I could add several other deficiencies, but enough said. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS WASHER.

Updated on 07/06/2020: This is my second review about this situation because I am locked out of responding privately to the company representative because they never responded to my last question. I have been trying since June 10 to get LG to honor the warranty on our refrigerator which stopped working on that day. First, I tried to get a letter in email for my repair person allowing him to order the parts which are still under warranty. When the letter finally came two weeks later, it had the wrong address. At that time, the representative who contacted me after my first review had already said they would rather offer an amount than deal with repairs. Still, I gave him the correct address and waited. Neither the correct letter nor an offer had come a week later, so I called the warranty department as he recommended. The lady there did make an agreeable offer and said the process would begin when we got an email about the offer. She said the email should come soon and that all steps had to be completed before we would get the payment to replace our refrigerator.A week later, we have received no email so Im assuming the 5-6 week process she mentioned will not start until we get that email and who knows when we will get it. I have just spent 1:22:00 hours on hold this morning waiting to speak to someone about this. Bottom line: Do not buy an LG refrigerator if you dont want to live out of an ice chest for more than a month waiting on them to honor a warranty.Original Review: After five calls to LG where customer service representatives have told me repeatedly that an email authorization will be sent within an hour, by 5pm, in 24 hours, it has been a week and still no authorization letter has been emailed to my repair service.

Bought the refrigerator in December of 2017. In June of 2021 the compressor went out. Had a technician come out. Told me it was a compressor. LG says they have to send their own own technician out to confirm it is the compressor. Their guy comes out. Confirms what the 1st guy said. LG gets the order for the parts, the technician comes out a month later, puts in the whole new compressor. Next day refrigerator isnt working yet again. Called the technician. They say they dont have anyone available and that if its not working then I need to call lg back. I call LG only to learn that they say the same technician has to come out and they can discuss with their technician over the phone whats wrong with my refrigerator. I will never buy anything from this company again. Horrible customer service. Very, disrespectful. They dont care about their customers whatsoever and if they say they do its a flat out lie.

Shortly after having purchased my stove at a price tag of $1500.00, the control panel went. I replaced it on my dime. The oven emits heat so intense the paint is discolored and peeling near the vent from the oven. The other day I turned the oven on to preheat and went into another room when I heard a horrid noise from the kitchen. I returned to see smoke pouring from the oven and the breaker on my electric panel had popped (fortunately). All lights were flashing and I have not been able to contact LG service lines to report this and inquire into what on earth happened. I will never buy LG again as there are no service people in our city who will touch it. The one company who will service this product put the control panel in upside down when I replaced it and I had to have them make another house call to fix the mess. They are supposed to be trained LG service people. YEAH! I am still sitting here without a stove because I cannot connect with LG. They do not put you on hold, but via a recording tell you they are all busy and to call back. Click! GOODBYE LG...

We purchased our LG refrigerator 3 years ago and have had two problems with it. A year ago, the valve controlling the drinking water ceased working and it cost us over $200 for the repair from Freds Appliance in Madison, Ohio. A month ago, we noticed a mushroom type growth near the base of the refrigerator and discovered that the water line feeding the drinking water and icemaker had a slit in it and was spraying water on the floor. The flooring is ruined and the repairs, not including the fridge, exceed $1,300. Freds denies any responsibility with the problem even though they are the only ones that have moved the fridge since it was initially installed. In conclusion, the purchase of your product was a terrible mistake and we have difficulty understanding how a company can ignore problems like this.

Throws errors LG refused to fix. 2 months old. 3 errors. Model WT7060CV: We purchased from well known retailer, upgraded all external hoses, faucet, etc. at time they installed. Within 2 weeks, started getting errors requiring reset, that worked, now at 2 months of light usage, vacation home, the error claims no water coming into tub. The symptoms however are conflicting: water fills tub and washes, then as it goes into spin, error thrown, tub drains, washer stops working, items in washer are wet. Now we cant get washer to work at all, the current error says requires repair person, we call retailer, they give us LG Customer Service, customer service tells us the problem is no water is coming into tub, I explained that was not the case and reiterated symptoms. We did video call with LG, they found no problem and said the hose must be clogged since no water was coming in. We said yes water is coming in, they said to clean the filters which required taking back off of washer but they wouldnt stay on the call to assist, I said water is coming in and seems odd that after 2 months the filters have to be cleaned and I am not comfortable doing this on my own, they said to stop repeating myself and hung up on me. They gave us 2 repair people in Seattle, 1 out of business, 1 never called back. I asked for repair services closer to East side because anyone further out wont drive to our location, they gave me 2 that are further away than first repair service. Retailer told us LG was supposed to call repair service not us.Now the retailer, who really has been super helpful is dealing with LG and is going to pay for an LG repair company closer to our location that is not on LG authorized list to go out to try to repair the machine. The retailer told me LG is extremely difficult to work with when issues occur with their products. Lesson learned. DONT BUY LG, I now have a shiny new 2 month old washing machine that does not work and neither the retailer or LG will take back. The good news... The dryer works fine. So far.

I purchased an LG refrigerator February 2008, French doors with bottom freezer. I had issues almost immediately, but were resolved under warranty. However, it took 2 weeks for the parts to arrive. Since the warranty expired, the plastic liner of the right door that has knobs to hold the door racks have broke; the door seals are tearing, there are cracks everywhere on the internal plastic liner; the catch for the top freezer tray broke off. This product is literally falling apart. We have contacted LG about some off these issues, but the response has been you are out of warranty and the repairs are on you. What a great company! Never buy an LG refrigerator.

LG electric Range LSB5611SW/SB/SS - I received a safety advisory note from Sears that their burners on certain ranges were failing to turn off after being switched off. Sears was very quick in responding by sending a technician to replace a board. The technician turned on a burner to test that it was working. Later, I started to cook, turned on a burner to mark 5. Loud clicking noises were heard, not once but intermittently. It only stopped when I turned the knob to the highest point or turned it off. Upon my complaint to Sears, another contracted technician (Jim) was sent. He had to call an LG technician for instructions. He checked that the board was connected per LGs instructions, and upon turning on the stove again, he agreed with me that the clicks were loud. Jim said that he would report the matter to Sears. After not having heard back from Sears, I called them again. Apparently, there was no report about any clicking noises from the contractor. Each time, I get to speak to a different agent either in Montreal or Belleville. I then called Jim who assured me that he spoke with Sears in the Burnaby outlet. I then decided to call LG. I spoke with a Josh who asked me when the contracted technician replaced the monitor. I said in January. He said that there was a directive that went out that those units that were attended to prior to February 2013 had to be rewired. That meant that the monitor on my range was wired incorrectly and Sears should have sent a technician to correct the error. On March 18, 2013, I spoke with a Claude from LG who told me that there was no report of my conversation with Josh, and that he would get Josh to return my call. On April 5, 2013, I spoke with Tia explaining the whole story again. I asked to speak with a manager but he was in a meeting. In the meantime, I have purchased a two-burner stove. The clicking noises are annoying. The kicker is that other households have complained about the clicking noises. What is LG and Sears going to do about it? Can they correct the problem? Or is this problem insurmountable? It is 4 months since I received the notice from Sears.

Make a product that works! Weve only had the washer for a few years and its had the issue since the beginning. I am beside myself with this machine. Right from the get go after purchase, the motherboard had to be replaced because it would stop spinning and send an error code. The worst part though is its ruining my clothes. I only put bleach in one cycle and that is my white towels and other whites. It doesn’t matter how long after a bleach load, it could be the next day, the bleach leaks on my colored clothes and has ruined many, expensive towels and cotton expensive cotton shirts. Even if I try to dry the dispenser out. I have called lg and home depot where I purchased the machine. Lg had the dispenser replaced but nothing changed. By the way, I put just a very small amount of bleach in the dispenser. This is so wrong - I have so many ruined towels and I threw everything out before, but now I’m saving them for evidence. Who can help?

I bought a top load LG washer in May of 2014, model WT1101CW, and was very pleased with it. I have three pets and we need to wash large comforters and blankets often; the washing machine did a great job and was easy to use. Then a freak accident occurred within just a couple of months of owning the machine. The washing machine pulled a sheet into the drain at the bottom of the tub and I had to call a technician. Since then, the machine has been operating well until all of a sudden, it stopped two weeks ago and gave me an error message PE. That means the water sensors arent working. I was leaving town and asked my adult daughter to please call and arrange a service call but she said she called the customer service number multiple times and wasnt able to get an appointment set. I called when I returned home and was told that 1) LG couldnt get in touch with four different companies that service their appliances, 2) there are no LG technicians available to help me, 3) that Id have to wait 3-5 days for someone to call me back. I called again today - same story. I told the operator that the wait time for a service call is unacceptable, especially since now were moving in to our third week without a washing machine. I would NOT purchase this machine again. Im sure there are other options out there that clean as well as this one does and are more reliable.

I purchased a refrigerator, dishwasher and gas range for my new home that I moved in to in 2019. Close to 5000$. Of course they are all out of warranty now and during Christmas of 2021 pieces of enamel was being found in my food I was baking in the oven. Needless to say this has to be a manufacturers defect because nothing I have done would warrant chips of enamel falling off. I called they said, Nope its out of warranty. Even with the fact that we could have consumed some of the enamel they do NOT care. Even the man that I called about checking it out said LG was hard to work with. I am hoping to get this resolved soon being I can not use my oven for fear of consuming enamel. I was so proud at how all three units looked in my kitchen and people were impressed with the look of them. Shame on you LG for selling expensive crap!! And then refusing to take care of your customers.

We bought our 4 door LG refrigerator in 2015 when we remodeled our home. It is by far the worst appliance purchase we have ever made. Weve had the compressor fail and replaced early on, then the ice maker was replaced, then one of the glass doors cracked, and now the compressor has failed again. In both cases when the compressors failed, we have had to throw away the entire fridge full of food, which is very expensive for us. I understand that the technology in newer refrigerators may be more sensitive, and life expectancy may be less than what they used to be, but this has been an inexcusable experience with a very expensive appliance.

The refrigerators main CKT board failed (blown fuse) 7 months after purchase on 3/12/2009 resulting in spoiled food. LGs authorized repairs first repair was to jump the fuse. After complaints, I received a new board, which the repair facility installed. I kept the old board. Last week the start relay on the compressor failed also resulting in a loss of several hundred dollars in food. Contacted LG and they referred me to Encompass after I received the so-called replacement relay from Repair Clinic. (It had 2 terminals that plug into the compressor and was not the correct part, which is a 3 terminal device (relay/OLP) with 2 receptacles on the opposite side for the start capacitor and 2 spade connectors for the power (line and neutral). (An easy repair if you have the correct part.) Contacted at least 3 other part suppliers including Encompass and all had the same information and same wrong part. After spending $1600 for this appliance and losing hundreds of dollars in spoiled food and many hours trying to contact LG technicians, I have temporarily hooked up a Supco 3 in 1 (relay, OLP, and the original capacitor). I am a retired physics and electricity teacher (41 years experience) and I think their support is terrible. I wouldnt recommend this company to anyone. The pictures submitted show the original relay, the two replacement parts (relay and overload protector), manufacturers tag and receipt).

I like how high tech the refrigerator is and the control panels are great as well. They are really stylish as well. I really like these fridges a lot. Plus a lot of my family members have them. I think the fridges are fine how they are however if we could work on the pricing a little bit that would be good. I dont like the fact that you have to pay so much for them though they could lower the pricing a little for sure. Just give us some discounts and coupons and everything would be great.

Of course I purchased the extended warranty which is now null and void after having been underwritten by now defunct Sears Canada. LG Canada basically told me to go ** myself. I am Horrified that I spent 4000$ on an LG refrigerator and LG won’t step up to make this right given the known issue of compressor failure. The repair bill is estimated to be 1000$, which I cannot afford. I’ve had to purchase an inexpensive used fridge and move a basically lightly used top of the line refrigerator to storage in hopes that LG may step up and do what is right. It is untenable that consumers are being exploited in this way and treated with such a lack of care or concern. I am thoroughly disappointed and will be pursuing every avenue to see my money returned. So far, LG has proven they are driven by profit - they are knowingly selling defective appliances to consumers. I recommend that folks avoid LG manufactured products and spend their money on appliances that are manufactured by reputable companies that will stand behind their product. Compressors should last 10-20 years. 4 years??! They are defective and LG needs to own their mistakes.

Surprise, I too have a loud thumping dryer drum & visible crack in the drum seal. I called LG. Initially, the representative said, Oh, this is a known problem and there is a recall. Called back with the serial # and surprise, the known recall now requires a receipt, which I dont have 7 or so years later, and LG insists its required to make the recall fix. Is that legal? Do recalls require a receipt. This is the second LG product that has gone bad on me at my expense and NO more. LG is not a good life and I would not opt for their products ever again because as other commenters below stated, their customer service is bad. I plan to call the MA consumer products division tomorrow to confirm if a receipt is necessary for a recall, assuming there is a recall on the product as the first CS agent told me this morning. LGs products are NOT worth the hassle they put their customer through....

We bought a front load washing machine (LG) 2 years ago. I have written customer service to remedy the problem weve had (the SMELL), but they didnt tell me anything that I hadnt already tried. Every time I would do a load of laundry, my entire hallway would stink like rotten eggs. We finally discovered that there was a hose at the bottom of the unit, and learned we were supposed to drain it from time to time. Actually, I have to drain it EVERY TIME! Every time I empty the water from the hose (about 4 cups of water), it stinks like sulfur or eggs. If I dont drain it, that water just goes onto my next load of laundry that Im washing. Im so frustrated & want to give this thing back!!! Im tired of my laundry smelling bad when I use fabric softener AND dryer sheets!!!

We purchased our refrigerator in August 2016. In February 2019 it stopped freezing and cooling. I called LG and the customer service (800 243 0000) and was scheduled for a service call the following morning. Based on the description of the problem the customer service rep advised there would be no charge for the service call or repair. (She didnt advise why, I didnt ask because I was thrilled after reading the other horror stories on this site.) The technician, Bryan ** called me about 15 minutes after the call to confirm our appointment the following morning and ask me about the problem so that he could ensure he had what he needed on the truck to make the repair. The next morning Bryan called when he was on his way to my house. (Within the time window that was scheduled. Another thing that doesnt happen that often that people actually show up in the time frame they are supposed to.) He began working at 10AM and finished by just after 11AM. He would courteous and very competent in making the repair. It turned out to be a failed/faulty compressor which was replaced with a new one. I already loved the fridge, I am extremely pleased with the customer care by all three LG employees I worked with in this transaction. Thanks!!!

Have been very satisfied with my LG Side by Side. Have had it now for 6 years and has worked flawlessly. Recommend this product to anyone looking for a reasonably priced fridge freezer. Hello, after several weeks of looking at refrigerators, my wife and I purch
Hello, after several weeks of looking at refrigerators, my wife and I purchased a new LG refrigerator in December, 2017. This past weekend it stopped cooling. Due to COVID19 the customer service department at LG has reduced hours. I contacted them on Monday morning at 8am and filed a warranty repair. I was told that “someone” would contact me in 24 to 48 hours. I was contacted by an approved service repair company the same day. The repair contractor offered to come out on Thursday. I didn’t find that acceptable when faced with over $1,000.00 of food that would be wasted. So I called LG back and the supervisor gave me 3 other names that I could call. I was able to reach two of them. Both were able to schedule me today!I called LG back to learn that if I wanted a different “approved” service provider to fix it that it would require a letter of authorization from them and that would take 2 to 4 days to issue! What? So my wife went out on a mission to find a suitable freezer that I could purchase to put in our garage. No luck! Due to COVID19 food hoarders the earliest I could get one delivered was possibly Thursday! Again, no solution.By 4pm I was faced with emptying out my refrigerator or scheduling another repair company. So I decided to schedule one on my own. They are coming today. I called LG back this morning and asked to speak to a manager. I spoke to a lady in the “executive” team. She told me that 4 days to get a repair technician wasn’t “that” long and because I was taking matters into my own hands, it would void the warranty! What??? I am voiding my warranty by getting one of their approved service providers to fix my refrigerator faster than they could get it scheduled? Not only did I find one but both of the providers I called were faster than the one assigned. And, because I circumvented their system, I lose my warranty? Nobody informed me till this morning that taking the matter into my own hands for resolution would void my warranty.None of this makes any sense. We spent over $4,000.00 on this refrigerator for it to go out within 2.5 years. Dealing with customer service has been a horrible experience. I cannot believe that obtaining service from an authorized service company would void my warranty. I can’t believe that when I found one that could come quicker than 4 days, LG wasn’t appreciative and simply move my order. Instead, they penalized me. There is nothing right, easy or customer oriented about the process I have experienced. It’s downright wrong.

Had two LG refrigerators fail within 5 years. The monumental problem is the horrible customer support and the way they try to keep delaying until you get frustrated and just lay out the money for another refrigerator. Planned obsolescence and they charge quite a bit. They should not be permitted to sell in the USA. I have been calling for our most recent refrigerator failure and they told me to wait by the telephone. They would call me on Monday and that was ten 10 days ago so I call and each time I call they state they are trying to find a service person and it shouldnt be that hard in a large city. Many times they promise you everything on the telephone in order to get a good call in review then do nothing about the request for help, totally manipulative. The current one that failed, I might add, in about 4 years.

We purchased our refrigerator on July 8, 2018. We were remodeling our home and did not actually plug it in until Dec. 2018. Mid May, 2019 *or there about* we experienced warm food and thawing frozen foods. We called the service center (1-800-905-9505) and told them of the problem - and technician took 2 weeks to come diagnose & repair --- replacing the compressor (Work was done on June 1, 2019). July 11th the refrigerator stopped cooling once again. Food lost and frozen food lost. Technician came the next day (12th) repaired.... and following morning (13th) the refrigerator STOPPED COOLING! Called service center on Saturday the 13th - and am still waiting for a call back from LG to set up service call ASAP. We are thoroughly disappointed with the LG refrigerator we purchased for full price - and will NEVER purchase another LG appliance again. Once we get this refrigerator running again we will donate it and have to spend money again on a new refrigerator. Customer service at LG consists of ALL foreigners - barely speaking English and expressing zero ability to satisfy customers. Sincerely,Steffany

Update : To their credit LG responded by sending out service technicians twice to resolve the problem, both gentlemen were very professional, timely and worked to resolve the issue. On the first visit the circulating fan motor was changed - but this unfortunately did not resolve the issue. On the second visit while disconnecting and reconnecting the wiring at the back of the oven, the problem was resolved (no parts changed). The oven works fine now and the issue is resolved.I would have given this an even higher star rating - except during the repair process it was confirmed that there really are no control board parts available for this particular oven (only newer models of it) - so if the controller board ever goes wrong I will be out of luck.

After about 6 mos, started to hear a high pitched screeching sound - I read other consumers experienced the same problem. Repair person said it was a bad ball bearing in the motor. I bought a brand new dishwasher & after installation from the first wash it displayed error codes. Called LG customer service several times. Finally they sent a repairman out who said the motor was seized. The dishwasher literally has run 2 times - the third time we got the LG error code which is a problem with the motor. LG wants to repair a dishwasher which has never worked. I tried to explain to them that I was not comfortable with that but their policy is they will not replace a unit until it has 4 major repairs in 1 year. I told them this was broken from the factory. They said there was nothing they could do but repair it. So far we have been without a dishwasher for almost two weeks. I am apparently going to have to either pay to have someone take it out, return it & buy another dishwasher (which LG cust service told me was a good idea) or do that myself with no compensation from LG. I even told them I have an LG phone and LG big screen tv but I will not buy LG again if they dont fix this & they didnt seem to care.

We purchased an LG front load washer (LG WM2688HNM) and dryer in June 2007 from Best Buy. We had constant problems with the washer leaking. We had technicians out almost monthly to try and find the source of the leak without any success. After about five months of complaining to LG’s customer service, they did have Best Buy give us a replacement in June of 2008. Unfortunately, the new machine did the same thing, but not quite as often and more like every two or three months. Again, the technicians cannot find where the leak is occurring from. It does not seem to make any difference how much detergent or bleach one uses. About two years ago the machine started dancing across the floor and vibrating items off the shelves in the laundry room. The technician put pads under the washer that are supposed to keep it in place and reduce the vibrations, but to no avail. It just keeps moving from one side of the laundry room to the other side, so we have to put it back in place until the next load.Oh, by the way, the dryer does not work much better than the washer. It goes through the dry cycle (and it doesn’t seem to matter which one) and the clothes are still damp if not wet. It doesn’t seem to matter if one uses the wrinkle guard or not. One technician suggested that with LG, one needed to use normal if you were doing permanent press, clothes, etc., but they still don’t get fully dried. Based on our experience, I would have to say do not buy LG products. As it stands at this point, I don’t think I would take an LG product if they were to give it to me.

As of today the compressor has been changed, then a 2nd trip to fix a leak supposedly, 2 weeks after that the ice maker quits working. I originally gave LG a poor product review regarding my LG fridge. The control panel, icemaker, and water dispenser stopped working. It got off to a rough start working with LG customer service. It took a couple of visits from the LG technician to figure out that the left door would have to be replaced. This was an expensive repair. I contacted LG and requested assistance with the cost of the repair. It took a while (about three weeks), but LG stepped up and bought the part and I paid the labor. My fridge is 4 years old and long out of warranty. Its not lost on me that LG didnt have to do anything. LG is the first appliance/electronics company that did anything for me out of warranty. I should also add that the LG technician was very professional and reliable. Overall, LG turn me around from frankly a pissed off customer to a loyal customer. LG will be first on my list next time Im in the market for appliances, televisions, etc. The only reason I didnt give LG a full five stars was it just took so long to get my fridge fixed and it took several phone calls to LG customer service before I found and agent who took and interest and went to bat for me. I think her name was Marsee. Im not sure about the spelling. One last thing, LG does not mark up their parts. I checked. If you have an issue with an LG product, make sure you use LG technicians. If you call and independent outfit, you can expect that they will (in some cases) mark up the parts double.

Purchased an expensive french door refrigerator in 2015. In 2016 the motherboard went out and we were out of a refrigerator for 2 weeks. Was advised to purchase the extended warranty to lower the repair cost (to $300). Now, in 2017, the compressor is out and we are again without a fridge for a week and lost all our food. The kicker? The compressor is under a 10 year warranty but only for the $160 part. LG is still charging me $400 for labor. Its their flat fee for warranty work, regardless of how long it takes. They overcharge for the labor to cover the cost of all the parts they have to replace. This fridge has cost me ~$1,000 is service and lost food and its only 3 years old. Spoke with supervisor Donald and he was rude, interrupted me constantly, and flatly refused to provide any customer to lower the labor charge since Ive had so many problems with this fridge. He told me to call other techs and see what they would charge--I have. No one else will work on LG fridge compressors because they fail too often. Im filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and sending a letter to the corporate office. I encourage everyone here who is a victim of LG to do the same. There needs to be a class action lawsuit against LG. PO box 240007. Huntsville AL 35813.

I ignored the reviews that said the front load washer leaks. LG will not cover the leaking door in the WARRANTY. It’s a handsome machine, looks great, washes well - but have a rag, sponge, or mop handy because the DOOR LEAKS. MY WASHER IS 6 months old. We have done around 8 loads of wash. We are a couple with no children yet, so we dry clean most of our clothing and have little to wash. The first time it leaked I thought it was a fluke. The second time I ignored it. This machine is pricey and for the money, you should get a PERFECT MACHINE! I am warning people to read reviews then ask a few sales people if the door leaks and they will tell you, YES IT LEAKS. IF THEY SAY IT DOESNT, GET IT IN WRITING! Until LG deals with this problem, they shouldnt be allowed to sell this washer. The puddle gets bigger with each load. I wonder when the floor will be covered with water. We clean the door, the rubber gasket and dont pack clothes into it. Our other front load washer by a different manufacturer does not leak and we have had that pair at our summer house for eight years with no problems. Dont waste $1000 Dollars on a machine that leaks because Home Depot and LG will not help you. LIFE’S GOOD WHEN YOU PAY FOR SOMETHING AND IT WORKS!

This is a beautiful, very large washer. Had great reviews and ratings in consumer magazines, etc. For 10 months or so it functioned well, handling large quantities of laundry, including towels and bedding. Then nearing the 1 year mark, the UE symbol, meaning it cant spin out the water from your clothing was a regular occurrence. I was told to use the tub clean cycle. It may have helped it balance for a few uneventful loads. But it was short lived. If you like standing over the top of a washer watching to see if it will spin, etc., but seeing it add 20 or more minutes over and over, then this is the one for you. A big disappointment.Updated on 1/23/2017: Whenever I have called LG about the frequent (Out of balance) issue they always say run the tub clean cycle, which I suppose tries to re-balance or reset without any clothes in it. I get a call back a few hours later and I am told the next available appointment is actually until 5/18/20. It is currently 90 degrees where I live and since I am at risk have limited my grocery shopping to every 2-3 weeks. Lucky for me I had just gone grocery shopping. I ask LG, Will you pay for a rental fridge? (given its a known problem)….Nope. How about the roughly $200 in groceries I had just purchased....nope. How about sending anyone out sooner....We will call in 24-48 hours.Get a call and now I am being told my new appointment date is 5/19/20. Call back since it is ridiculous to wait 3 weeks to get a known problem fixed. Ask about reimbursement for me purchasing a new fridge….nope. Ask if I can get my grocery reimbursement if I buy a new fridge....nope. Then I am told I can call around to find someone and get all their information etc. and they MAY be able to authorize this company to fix my compressor. All I can say is WOW, really hoped my experience would have been not like I read in other reviews but I guess not. Here is to a waste of a fridge and a horrible customer service experience.

In January 2019 we purchased four new top-of-the-line LG appliances from Home Depot: dishwasher, oven/range/microwave and refrigerator. Within two months we had problems with the dishwasher and LG did not have the needed parts. Within the next several months we had to call for service on the oven/range (twice), on the microwave, and this week on the refrigerator. LG was extremely uncooperative in scheduling a service appointment, even after the Home Depot telephone them on our behalf. They insisted on photographs of our receipts (we have neither smart phones or the ability to transmit photos) although we gave LG THE MODEL NUMBER, SERIAL NUMBER, RECEIPT NUMBER AND DATE AND THE TELEPHONE NUMBER OF THE Home Depot store. The LG representative was rude, and even hung up on my wife. Home Depot had a similar experience, and advised us to NEVER buy an LG appliance from Home Depot in the future. Not much chance of that! Do NOT buy an LG dryer (DLG4971). I hardly had the dryer a month until it stopped heating. I was not going to be at the house where the dryer is for another 5 months so LG extended the warranty until I could get back to fix it. The igniter, valve and thermostats were replaced in May and in December the dryer doesnt heat AGAIN. Of course the dryer is out of warranty now and Lowes tells me the parts are under warranty for only 30 days. So my 1.5 yr old dryer is broke again. I dont like the LG washer either. Doesnt rinse very well. I sold it.

Buyer Beware: We purchased an LG over the stove 2.0 Microwave middle of Nov 2019. After installation I turned the surface light of the microwave on. When I went back to put a dish in the microwave I found it to be extremely hot inside. We had not used the microwave nor the stove below to generate such heat. We turned off the surface light & checked the interior of the microwave it had cooled down. We then put a thermometer inside the microwave & turned the surface light back on to check if the light itself created the heat. In less than 1/2 hr the interior of the microwave heated to 117 F degrees. When we turned off the light the microwave was cool. We then called LG to alert them to our experience. The rep first hinted that it could be an electrical problem with our home. I explained our kitchen had been recently updated including all the electrical which was inspected by our local county inspector. They then sent a service tech out to examine the microwave. LG technical support told the service tech not to touch the microwave. They issued us a Claim number & an internal Bulletin about the problem. The tech told us we had to replace the light bulb ourselves despite it being new & under warranty. My husband is an electrician as well his friend who is a master electrician. They both researched the model. LG changed from the earlier model a 30 WATT incandescent light bulb to a 50 WATT Halogen light bulb in the same lighting compartment & model. The hole for the 30 WATT incandescent light bulb is still in the compartment & next to it is the newly added 50 WATT Halogen light bulb. IT sits just below the microwave box with absolutely NO VENTILATION. We were advised to notify our States Attorneys Office as well the BBB. We alerted the store we purchased it from to check the models they have on the floor & beware of the problem. Had we just turned on the surface light & left our home I cant imagine the outcome. If youre seeking to purchase a new LG microwave first check what type of surface light bulb the microwave is equipped with before you purchase it. LG obviously has no solution or will back their warranty on a less than one month old microwave.

I bought an LG refrigerator (LMCX23746) from Costco in August, 2016. The ice maker stopped working in March, 2020. I paid LG $125 for a diagnosis by an LG technician who told me that a wire in the door is broken. It happened because we opened and closed the French door too many times (2000+). To repair, a new door and control board plus labor will cost me another $625-$875. I called LG and they refused to cover the parts because it is not part of the closed system. The customer service even suggested I slammed the door. I am following up with Costco on this. Even though I wont have an working ice maker in the end, I am not going to send one more penny to LG. Another customer has the same issue with the same LG fridge: **. So if you have an LG French Door unit, try to open the other door more. Or turn the French Door into a Single Door unit because the door with dispensers is dedicated to the ice maker.

1) Super-duper energy efficiency is achieved by hard tumbling. I always set up this machine on the lowest possible setting for soil and spinning, yet it ruined a whole load of clothes. Everything made of knitted fabric (read: all T-shirts and all short-sleeve shirts) after one single washing cycle is stretched to the point that it is no longer usable, precisely - became 2 times wider and 2 times shorter. Also, I have 2 regular shirts ruined - the machine tears off buttons with pieces of fabric, and just tears apart fine fabric. I want to underline again - it happened on the lowest soil and spin setting. So, basically, if you are interested in Delicate cycle - it does not exist. All other cycles have no value, since you will get your clothes ruined anyway. The only thing the machine could be usable - washing jeans and soldier uniforms. Towels and linens are okay too, but forget about washing your clothes, any knitted and fine fabric.2) Because it is high energy efficiency machine, you cannot choose water temperature. Well, nominally you can, but in practice it tries to use cold water. In most of the settings except the last one, you will get cold water in the washing tank. The highest possible setting, hot/warm still uses cold water from the tap, and the machine does not have a water heater. So, to get hot water only you have to dance around it, and turn cold water tap off, then on.3) Water efficiency feature does not exist - it has a couple of settings like half tank and full tank. So, if you want to wash a couple of jeans or 4 shirts, you will get a half tank of water, and the tank is huge.Overall - taking into account the price, the efficiency, and the amount of good clothes I have spoiled by the machine - this is the worst purchase in my life.

We purchased the LG washing machine from Sears for our new home and it never worked right. Sears failed to work with us to properly correct the problem. Finally, Sears came out to repair the machine. However, that made the problem worse. We asked to speak to a supervisor and were told they would call back within 2 hours. After waiting 4 days, we called Sears customer service and again asked to speak to a supervisor. We were told to not call Sears, but call LG. We did and they too sent a repairman (very professional), who said the machine was defective. LG agreed to send us a new replacement. The replacement arrived, but that too failed to work at all. Both the installer and I spoke with LG, that tried to blame it on a water pressure problem. There is no water pressure issue here. The installer stated the new machine is defective. The installers removed the new defective machine and put back the old defective machine. Incredible. Although LG has promised to send yet another new machine, I am now at the point where we will request a full refund. I believe we all have grounds for a class action lawsuit against LG and perhaps Sears. Anyone interested?

We bought a LG refrigerator 1.5 years ago. Very pricey I might add. The Fridge went out. They sent a repair person who replaced the motherboard and thats all he did. He did not check to see if the compressor was working. We wait 12 to 24 hours as he said not working. The compressor is not working. Back to LG We go. They say compressor is covered. They will get back to us on someone coming. They just call today and say they cant find anyone to come and fix it. Now the kicker is We have had no refrigerator since December 10th 2021. After all the hoops LG cant find anyone to fix their product. We live outside Little Rock AR. I have found this whole situation horrible with the way this was handled. I will never recommend a LG product to anyone. Yes there may be fine stuff out there but what if it breaks then you will find out how they stand behind their products. I find it ridiculous the price we pay for refrigerator, washers, dryers etc just for them to be throw away products.

Every time I use my LG Wave Force supposedly “self balancing” washing machine it takes multiple hours to finish one load unless I am constantly readjusting the clothes to keep it balanced evenly. It doesn’t seem to matter if the load is big, medium or small in size. The result is still the same. The clothes do not seem to come out clean and the machine takes forever to finish a load. I spent a lot more than I had expected for this washing machine because of the great reviews that I read about it and have been highly dissatisfied since I purchased this piece of junk. I will never buy an LG washing machine ever again and I am writing this review to help others save their money to put towards their hard earned money towards a washing machine that’s well worth the big purchase. Clearly this one was a huge purchasing mistake. I HATE this machine!!!As if doing laundry wasn’t enough of a chore, babysitting this machine and CONSTANTLY readjusting the clothes is a busy woman’s nightmare!!! I’ve talked to many people and the consensus is the people love their washer if they purchased a Speed Queen. I’ll be looking into that type of washer soon. I would’ve thrown the LG washer out my second floor window by now if I could!!

Even after turning off the ice maker, and making sure the dispenser paddle wasnt stuck, it continued to run. I called LG customer service. They cant send anyone until tomorrow. The motor on the door should be completely fried by then!!! Wow! Before I bought the LG Model WT5101HW in Aug. 2010, I could not find bad reviews on this washing machine. I wish Id investigated further. It is just as noted in other reviews; not enough water in most cycles, not energy efficient (1:09 hr. cycle will take up to 1:55 hr.), water levels will sometimes leave clothes dry and still dirty. Machine has been recalled and fixed by service representative (which took three trips), constantly going UE and adding water, etc. There is no way to shorten a cycle except rinse and spin or spin only. I found the only thing that works reasonably well for cleaning is the Bulky/Bedding cycle. This seems to load the water based on level rather than the weight method. But it always fills it full, so I make sure the loads warrant the extra water used. I am considering biting the bullet on a different washing machine when the extended warranty expires in about ten months. I will NEVER purchase another LG product. Worst customer service Ive ever experienced.

The refrigerator stopped working. The motor ran constantly to the point the back lower panel where it is located became overheated. Lost everything there was in the refrigerator and freezer. Have gone without one for over a week. Contacted LG who said they couldnt get someone out to look at it for about 2 weeks. LG said that the limited warranty for certain parts that was for 7 years after we received the unit would not be honored since we did not have a receipt. We never received a receipt since the Home Depot gave us a store credit. We had other things updated prior to getting the credit. The Home Depot put in new Silestone countertops. It took 3 times for them to come back and put the counter on properly. Silestone felt bad for us and told us to get any of their countertops, so we picked out a different color that happened to be their most expensive. Silestone also told us we could have any edging we wanted, no matter what the cost, so we updated our edging to one of the most expensive. Silestone had no problem with any of this. Then we had Home Depot replace on of our bathroom floors. The installer put the floor in just fine, but also broke our toilet and told us sorry and left. We had to go and buy a new toilet ourselves and install it. Home Depot finally paid for the replacement and labor of the new toilet. I called Home Depots corporate office who gave us a store credit of $1500. We used that money to buy the LG French Door refrigerator. Needless to say 4 years later it broke down. I called Home Depot for them to send us a copy of the store credit that was used for the refrigerator. They were not able to find it in the system since I did not know the exact date of purchase. No receipt or paperwork were given to us. Now the contractor for LG will not honor the 7-year limited warranty and we will have to pay for parts and labor to fix the unit. Prior to getting this LG unit, we had a side-by-side GE Profile fridge. It was about 8 years old when it started to give us minor problems, but it still worked. We got the LG fridge since we had this credit and wanted a French Door Fridge without the water and ice like the GE one had. We never expected this LG unit to have such serious problems at only 4 years old. Very disappointed with this issue. If the service call costs too much, this Fridge will be going and we will go with another manufacturer. LG will never be a company we do service with again. Home Depot will also never have our business again with all the problems we have had with the major updates to our house we purchased from them.

We bought an LG front loading high efficiency washer a few years ago and it has been nothing but trouble. The maintenance required for routine use is more than one would expect for an appliance such as a washing machine. The machine routinely soils and streaks clothes and has ruined countless garments despite the suggested tub cleaning, wiping down, and costly extra tub cleaner. Additionally, the washer often leaks soapy water into the floor despite the use of HE detergent, meticulous measuring of detergent so as not to overfill. Now I must wash only small loads to keep leakage to a minimum--one of the big selling points was the ability to efficiently do large loads. Over recent days, I have had consistent leaking. I suspect we may have water damage below the floor, but no visible staining of the lower ceiling as of yet. I am constantly washing towels that I have to use to clean up the mess from routine use of the appliance. This product is a lemon. There should be some sort of buy back or trade in for some other, more useful washing machine.

I’m writing about my disgusting experience with LG in regards to my washer WM4370HKA. I’ve had issues that started only within months of the purchase of this brand new washer. And the first technician that showed up was in DEC of last year, replaced parts and several weeks later the issue occurred once again. Repeatedly my washer doesn’t complete cycles and gets stuck with soaked laundry. It doesn’t clean properly and the clothes never come out smelling fresh. December, January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, I’ve had more than 3 technicians come to diagnose and attempts to fix the issue. They say they will be calling me back to replace parts but no one does. The issue is still ongoing and LG is denying me any service and has not agreed to my request for a replacement. I’m now ashamed to say that almost all my home appliances are LG because this type of service or lack of, shouldn’t happen. They don’t make you feel like a person, and they will do anything to deny you service. They don’t want to acknowledge that the machine is faulty. 1500 dollars and not even 6 months and it’s giving me hell.

We have a two year old LG fridge, model number LFX33975ST that stopped cooling completely three weeks ago. We contacted LG customer service and they gave us three companies that were LG certified repair centers. We made an appointment (had a horrible time with them) and after three weeks they told us the fridge needed to be replaced and they would work with LG warranties to get that done. LG warranties will not work with them and have forced us to use another service tech. We have the live chats from LG customer service proving set appointment times. Of which nobody showed. We have proof from the service company LG told us to use that our two year old fridge should be replaced and LG wont work with the service company they told us to use. LG says they will not replace our fridge, only the parts even though their service tech said the fridge should be replaced and that the seal system should not go bad in a 2-year old refrigerator. They also said that if LG says they will fix it to let them know this is the type of warranty problem that will go bad every year and we will have to replace the seal system every year. LG still refuses to replace - the manager at LG customer service told us they will never replace only repair. HORRIBLE!

I bought an LG refrigerator in Sept 2016, it failed April 2019. I have been without a working refrigerator for over 4 months. They have attempted to replace the compressor 3 times, 2 of these times they also replaced the motherboard, each time its failed. LG told me that they would attempt to repair 3 times before a replacement would be issued. On the day of the 3rd failed attempt I called and was told that they were submitting the approval for a replacement. After not hearing back I called and Im now being told that each of those repairs fell into the same type of repair and that they will be sending a technician to try something different. Not until today was I offered a $150 credit towards a mini- refrigerator. Im being given quite the run-around, a different story each time I call it seems and Im at the end of my rope. How much time am I supposed to take off work to meet repair men, will they attempt this new type of repair 3 more times, then will they try something new? How long will this go on - a year? A refrigerator should last longer than 2.5 years, PERIOD. They are aware they are selling defective refrigerators. There are class action lawsuits about these compressors. Enough is enough. I purchased my LG refrigerator in 09/29/2015. After 4 years of service it suddenly stopped working. I had not heard of the problems til this moment. Looking at everything on the internet I wonder if I shouldnt just buy a different refrigerator. We have had a tech here and he is ordering a new compressor for our frig. We lost all or most of the food plus we had to purchase a small freezer to keep food in so we werent running out with our concerns about COVID. I had bought an extended warranty at the time of purchase because the fridge. Was only fully covered for 1 year. Now I understand LG has revised it to cover 5 years so I spent that money for nothing. We are retired and so our money is tight and every cost affects the budget. We havent had a refrigerator for just about a week and now I am thinking about buying a small one for my garage just to keep cold drinks and condiments. With the freezer and small fridge Ill have spent 400.00 dollars and I now I think the money would have been better spent buying a different brand. I havent had to deal with LG in any of this with my extended warranty and with other complaints not sure I want to. If you are reading these post stay away from LG refrigerator until they prove they have fixed these problems. They had to settle a class action lawsuit in 2014 and now are back in court as of 2019 with the same problem and new complaints. This means that LG has had an ongoing problem without resolution for over ten years and are willing to continue to sell these products. If this were a car company they would be forced to make a recall.

I called customer service for my LG True Balance Direct Drive Washer which I purchased in 2012, so its 5 years old. It has been going off balance and slow to fill with the dribble of water coming from the internal outlet in the washer. It would take all day to do one small load of wash because of this. The phone service is outsourced to India. When I finally got someone who could understand the problem, they said it would cost $350 for one of their service people to come out. COME ON! When I said that was ridiculous, they said they knew it was a bit pricey. REALLY?The smart diagnosis app would not download. When I went on YouTube to see if I could figure things out, I saw the little blue rinse cap emit water on the cycle, WHAT A SURPRISE, mine never did work, I didnt even know it was supposed to shoot water into the washer. I called an independent appliance repairman who came out for $49, which would go toward parts and labor if I needed it. He took one look at my 5-year-old LG WASHER and said, These are nothing but problems, I have left homes with people crying over the problems with these washers. Dump it and get a G.E.washer. LG used to be GoldStar which was the worst brand out there, they just remarketed themselves. I wanted to cry. I spent A LOT of money on this set and for a repairman to not even open the back panel- speaks volumes. He opened the lid, spun the barrel, and looked at me and said, You have more than one problem here, its going to cost at least $400 to repair, are you sure you want to do that with a machine 5 years old? I did extensive research on these products before I purchased with Consumer Guide and Reviews. I thought I did a good job with choosing wisely. Repair guy said: They all work good when they are new.

Bought model # LMX25964 refrigerator in August 2011. As of May 11, 2015, this appliance just stopped working. Since very few appliance repair businesses are allowed to work on LG appliances, we called LG customer service. Here are directions we were given: Unplug the fridge. Wait awhile. Plug it back in. Open and close the two freezer doors three times. Now, wait 24 hours before opening the freezer again. (am guessing this is when the Voodoo Doctor will visit). We are in that 24 hour wait as I type. Will NEVER buy another LG product again.

Last year in August I replaced my LG microwave oven with an identical one (38 Litre LG Microwave Rounded Cavity Interior - Two). I dont have the exact model number but it is something like LG MS 3842 and has a 38 liter capacity. I now have to replace the one replaced under warranty in August 2013 with yet another one. Both ceased heating as per specifications and emitted a strong smell of electronics and/or wiring overheating or burning. At no stage was the oven used in a manner other than to cook vegetables and rice, the main items prepared for eating in this appliance. I am now going to replace the model with one that claims to have 7 fold Aqua Block System as a safety feature. Good luck to me!
