I purchased a large LG French Door Refrigerator, with a 5 year warranty, in 2016. It worked fine until 2019, when the compressor failed and needed replacement. LG replaced the compressor, but the refrigerator broke down again the next month. It broke down 2 additional times to-date. During this time, my refrigerator (model LMX530776S) and approx. 50 other models, were identified as DEFECTIVE and covered by a Class Action Suit. At this point, I requested that LG replace my refrigerator. As stated above, the Customer Service Dept. became totally curt and unhelpful. They lied to me about the status of my claim and repeatedly declined to connect me to a manager. Once I received an email from the Problem Solution Dept., that I was later informed didn’t exist! LG dragged this out until my warranty expired and never fixed my fridge. I will NEVER Buy Another LG Product Again.

I have a washing machine that is 3 years old that needed a repair covered under the 7-year warranty. Because I cannot find my receipt after 3 years, you will not honor the warranty, even though the serial number shows its not close to 7 years. Because its a premium product, a receipt is required. I spent $1,000 on a premium machine that LG will not honor warranty on due to a 10-cent piece of paper. This is not how you treat your customers who purchase premium products. And premium products should not break after 3 years.

Your call goes to out of this country and cant understand people on phone. All LG products bad, also service is nightmare. Bought at Home Depot was my first mistake. Nightmare.

Our LG refrigerator is only 18 months old and has broken down three times.
Our LG refrigerator is only 18 months old and has broken down three times. The first time, LG repaired within the first year. Second time occurred three weeks ago. The warranty company contracted a local appliance repair company to come out. They came out and diagnosed the issue, then said they needed to order a new compressor and should take three to five days. On day three, I call the company to find out status of compressor. They indicate it had not yet arrived. I call every day after that for another week and could not get anyone to answer the phone. My wife and I are both professionals and do not have time to deal with a fridge company. On day eleven or so, I file a complaint on Better Business Bureau website. Less than twenty minutes later, I get a call. Company comes out to install the new compressor a day later. Repair guy says it is fixed and leaves. Later that day, I again noticed the fridge was not working. Fridge is still broken!!! Now another lost work day and more time on the phone and internet wasting my time dealing with a terrible LG Product! There has to be legal recourse with so many complaints. I bet the majority of us have the same model. LG needs to be held accountable for selling a $2500 piece of junk!

We bought our LG french door refrigerator from Best Buy fall of 2016 to be installed in our new home in 2017 spring. Almost 1 year to the date of moving into the house we had our first complete meltdown. All of the food was defrosted and water was all over the floor. We called LG and a technician was sent out days later. They replaced the compressor and it worked for a few months. Then it happened again. We called the same technician and they fixed it again. Now its noisy and worked until about a year after the first fix. Then it defrosted. Again same situation. This time it was 9 days before the technician arrived.By then it had spontaneously started working again so she refused to do anything. We paid over $100 for this. Now 1 month later its done again. We were told this is how its designed to work and there is nothing they can do. If this is true no one should ever buy LG. They design to cost you hundreds of dollars and dont back up their appliances. Cant wait to see how long it takes to get a technician and what they will do or not do this time. Each time we seem to have to pay more money plus we never seem to qualify for the supposed $200 in food recompense.

LG handled the entire situation most impressively. The refrigerator was serviced by a very experienced, professional young man and is indeed back in working order as of today. I am hoping that once I have it placed back in my kitchen that it will be in service for years to come, as I really do like this refrigerator. Thank you LG for investing your time and renewing my trust.

Faulty Refrigerator lsrc2925tt - Ice maker started going bad. Was not producing ice properly. Shortly afterwards, a big puddle of water appeared from freezer. Refrigerator went completely out. Called Home warranty company. They have not been wanting to assist me. Accusing me of being the problem and not taking care of the appliance correctly. Luckily, I found a comment on here from Jack ** of TN. He experienced the same problem. Water in the circuit board of the unit. Also called LG and advised. Sent them documentation and this website as well. Looking into legal representation for resolution. Have been without Refrigerator for nearly two weeks.

My side by side LG freezer (model LSXS26326W) which is only 2 years old has had the freezer die on it 2 times already. It makes no ice and the freezer temperature is up to 40 degrees even though it is set to 0 degrees. We have called the LG company several times but they keep repeating the same thing, Adjust the temperature. But we have adjusted the temperature several times but it does not help. We are seeing that others are complaining about a faulty compressor. I would not recommend this unit to anyone and please before buying any appliance check around and gather information to see what the best one is. I am really upset and I have lost all my meat and frozen food.

We purchased an LG Inverter Direct Drive dishwasher from Home Depot. Right after our warranty expired the dishwasher did not drain. A repairman came out and replaced the pump, costing us $160. In less than two months the problem is back. The repair labor was warrantied for 30 days, which has now passed. So we will again have to pay $75 just for the repairman to make a diagnosis. I have checked the hose, and kept the filter clean, though this is not something I ever had to do with any other dishwasher. LG dishwashers are very badly designed, and LG does not stand behind their products.

I bought an LG side by side refrigerator for my home. Recently, I am a divorced single mother of a 2 year old, trying to start over. Here it is, one and a half years later and my fridge totally thawed out all of my meat in my refrigerator. My milk is spoiled and all of my meat and vegetables are rotted and ruined. I am barely scraping by paying the bills, starting over again and I should not have to be buying a fridge after a 1 1/2 years. This is ridiculous. Customer services are good in telling you that your warranty ended at 1 year and that is it. No, they have no sympathy. If it wasnt for good friends letting us eat with them for the next two weeks when I get paid, we would be without food. I cant buy groceries twice. I cant buy refrigerators twice. This is ridiculous! I am telling everyone not to buy anything LG. Beware, some Kenmore refrigerators are made by LG now too.

I trust this brand and I had other products of LG like cooking appliances, microwave ovens, dishwashers in past and always had positive experience about LG products. Cool innovations like space-saving features, eye-catching style and energy efficiency, love the alarm feature, the room for storage and the bottom drawer freezer. Everything worked well except the ice maker. The ice maker clogs frequently and has to be manually emptied or pounded from inside the door to release ice from the door ice dispenser. I had couple of service calls and it still did not function properly.

We had our kitchen remodeled 5 years ago and none of the appliances (several different brands) have been stellar. However, I will never purchase another LG product again because of our LG refrigerator.Within months, the ice maker hose failed causing a leak every time we accessed the in-door water dispenser. When our wood floor started to bubble up, we then realized something was leaking. The hose was replaced but within a few months, another leak started. This has been a constant problem for the entire 5 years we have had it. We just discovered a new leak but this time it is coming from underneath and on the opposite side of the refrigerator so we are not certain if this has anything to do with the ice maker.LG and Home Depot, where we purchased it as well as an extended warranty plan, have been a huge disappointment and we will never purchase an appliance from either again. The extended warranty only covered major parts after the first 18-24 months, so it was of no help after this time frame. Also, the process of getting someone out here to repair it, was inferior. I had to call the main headquarters of Home Depot. They in turn would have to set up a repair order with one of their contracted LG repair companies.Home Depot would then contact me back and give me the number to call. I would then have to arrange a time for the repairman to come to the house which always took a week or more. Once they came, no matter how clear I was about the problem and where the leak was in the hose, etc., they would always have to order the part which would take several weeks. They would then call me once the part came in to set up a time to return to repair the refrigerator.Consequently we would be without our ice maker working for up to 8 weeks. I share this because even the LG repairmen are inferior or they are overworked. I would love an attorney to contact me since our hardwood floors have been ruined over the years due to the repeated leaking.

I have a LG washer and dryer, both are four years old. I’ve been having intermittent issues with the washer not spinning/throwing a code. Three months ago I called LG to ask who the authorized repair rep is for my area (I do not live in a remote area). Two separate phone calls and 45 minutes out of my life and still they could not tell me who to call in my area. I finally emailed again about a month later and was provided two possibilities, one of them does not service my area. By the time I got a repair, the washer was completely seized and cannot be repaired. The washer went to the dump today. An email to the VP of service in Canada four days ago has not even been acknowledged. Absolutely deplorable customer care and more aggravation than it’s worth.

I have a stainless steel LG French Door Refrigerator that I purchased from Home Depot. After approximately 1 year, the refrigerator front seal ripped. When I contacted LG, the stated comment was that they had never had this problem reported before, and it now was not covered by warranty because of the time limit. It is not covered by the store warranty that I bought as it only covers mechanical problems. Frequently, the ice maker freezes (and the door tray simply cannot be removed - poor design) requiring me to use a hair dryer to thaw it out. What a problem! This is not covered by warranty. I contacted LG about this problem, no response. Personally, I would never buy another LG product.

I absolutely could not get anyone to answer my calls. I purchased a washing machine in 2005 and it was starting to smell terrible by 2006. In 2009, it produced error readings so I purchased a new pump. In 2011, it started making noise. I took it upon myself and found out that the support brace that holds the inner drum rotted and broke off in three places. I have soft water and am a registered master plumber. The material used in this brace was no more than cast aluminum or pot metal (neither of the two should be used in a piece of equipment like this). The drum is stainless. What a waste.

LG LRE3023ST - At one year and 5 days the glass top broke, we did not drop anything on it and LG sent their service people to look at it. Their service people verified that it should not have broken, yet they refused to pay so we paid $500 for a new top. Today at 2 and a half years old, the stove is unrepairable. Service estimate was $800+ and its not worth fixing. My last stove lasted for 30 years! Absolute junk and LG will not do anything about it. Purchased this machine in 2010 for over $800. I was told it was fabulous. It was - for a few months. But then we noticed that our clothes were no longer smelling clean. In fact they come out smelling worse than when they went in dirty. There is just nothing that can prepare you for getting out of the shower, grabbing a clean towel and experiencing a smell so sour and disgusting, that you feel as though you need to shower again. They told us that we need to maintain our machine every month. What??? Is this a joke? The energy efficient uses less water machine they bragged about - we are now being told we should run 1 to 3 cleaning cycles, with special, expensive chemicals, EVERY month. EVERY MONTH for the life of the machine. I must do this in order to have clean laundry. Am I the only person who finds this absolutely insane??? I now have to take more effort and money every month to maintain my machine, then it actually took to do my laundry with my old machine. If doing my laundry with an LG washer is going to take this much effort... I might as well drag my laundry down to the creek and scrub it on some rocks. That would actually be quicker and more cost effective and, work better!!! I have called customer service (a bunch of foreign speaking people) numerous times. This last time was the last straw. They do not care for your opinion. They speak to you as though you are the problem. When I explained to the guy that the entire area around my bleach cup has completely rusted - guess what - thats right - it is my fault, and no one else on the planet has had this problem. I called knowing that my warranty is long gone but I told him I just wanted to give them feedback from a consumer about how I felt about their product. But, as you already know he doesnt care. He kept telling me to wash out my machine, and that I dont understand how to maintain my machine. I guess judging from the 100s of 1- star reviews, and similar complaints no one else on Earth knows how to do that either. So here is the bottom line. I own a business cleaning resort units. I have dealt with every machine known to man. I have only ever seen one other machine as junkie as this. I will NEVER buy another LG washer. I will go back to old school, agitator... where my clothes are actually coming out clean, and I never, ever, ever had to wash my machine to keep my laundry coming out the way it is suppose to. PS - you will want to avoid the Whirlpool/Maytag (both the same company now) top loaders as well. They are just as big of a nightmare!!

We purchased a Kenmore Model 79551833412 side by side refrigerator that was manufactured for Sears by LG. This units compressor failed after 17 months. I came to learn there was a class action lawsuit filed against LG for this same issue which unfortunately was dismissed. Because my mother in law is 88 years old and the estimated cost of repair was nearly the cost of a new refrigerator we chose to purchase her a new refrigerator rather than wait for it to be repaired. Sears says their warranty is only one year but the Sears rep said that the manufacturer provides a longer warranty on the compressor but labor would not be included. The LG gas dryer that I purchased from Best Buy on 11/26/2011 and didnt receive until 12/1/2011, has been out of service since 4/3/2012, because the dryer is not igniting. I called Best Buy and because I didnt purchase their black tie warranty and it has been past their 30 day exchange period, Best Buy will not exchange my dryer. I called LG. They referred me to A-Reliable Appliance Service out of Chattanooga, TN. I called A-Reliable (what a joke) on 4/3/12, scheduled appointment for 4/5/12 and they ended up coming on 4/4/12 to see what was wrong with my dryer. A-Reliable ordered parts and replaced on 4/10/12. I work Mon-Fri 8-5, 30 minutes from home. I have to arrange for someone to meet them at my home for repairs. My mother-in-law met the service tech for them to repair my dryer. The service tech replaced sensor and thermostat valve, the dryer was still not heating after 15 min. of running and the tech left my home without dryer working saying that it was fixed. Im no genius but I can figure out that if a gas dryer is not hot after 15 min. of running, that obviously its not fixed. I called A-Reliable on 4/11/12. Trying to get a second repair took over a month of angry phone calls just to try to get a LG certified repair shop to even book an appointment! When contacting customer service they will not let you speak with any sort of management/supervisory personnel and there is no way to receive an address for a letter of complaint. Our convection microwave also stopped working after less than 3 years and had to be replaced at the same time as the second oven repair. Should have been done with the first oven repair but could not get the part from LG in time and they were going to charge for another service call!Side by side double drawer bottom mount freezer refrigerator hasnt had the water dispenser work for a couple years. Their top of the line dishwasher has been having grinding sounds for over a year and this week is now on a continual run cycle no matter which cycle you request, just does not stop as well as having the loud grinding sound the whole time it runs whether 2 minutes or 20 hours! Just waiting for our induction cooktop to be the last of the appliances to quit, should be coming any time now! It astounds me that consumers can pay top dollar for products and get lower than average results with the products and customer service. Trying to speak to anyone within the customer service center is a lesson in how not to conduct business, and not being able to have a contact address or email or phone number for customer complaint is infuriating.

We purchased a French door LG refrigerator in Mar 2016. It was delivered and installed in Aug 2016. On Jun 15, 2018 the compressor went out. After an hour on the phone with LG customer service and contacting 12 different LG authorized repair people, none offered Saturday service. We finally found a local guy, willing to work on an LG refrigerator (MANY appliance repair people state on the home page of their website that they DO NOT SERVICE LG REFRIGERATORS or their outgoing VM gives this information). Within seconds of having the freezer torn apart, he confirmed that the compressor was out. We then spent the next two weeks, while on vacation, speaking with LG customer service and the repair person to TRY to get action towards a compressor replacement part before we got home. We arrived home to no compressor part and after ANOTHER call to LG customer service, found out that our claim had inexplicably been closed! WTH? I then barfed all over the LG USA Electronics Facebook page when the social media rep was able to get more information than 7 calls over two weeks with LG customer service had yielded. LG offered to pay for the part and the labor. Problem is NO LOCAL REPAIR PEOPLE ARE WILLING TO WORK WITH LG because they PAY SO LITTLE and this job will apparently take ALL DAY. So LG recommends this repair person who is an HOUR AWAY. It has now been two more weeks (yes, a whole month without a refrigerator or freezer in the heat of California summer) and STILL NO CALL that our repair is imminent. So today we call LG Customer Service again to find out the parts were delivered to the authorized LG repair person on Friday, July 13th and it is our responsibility to work it out with the repair person. To say that I am FURIOUS is an understatement. I want LG refrigerators BANNED from sale in California because of faulty manufacturing and beyond horrific customer service. LG is committing fraud. We did our research before buying this refrigerator. LG refrigerators received favorable reviews. BUT NOT SINCE WE BOUGHT OURS. LG apparently made a good product when the manufacturing was in S Korea or Mexico. Since moving their manufacturing to China, however, we are in the MAJORITY of people complaining about the shoddy piece of junk LG refrigerators now are. I want our refrigerator repaired so I can get rid of it and purchase a quality KitchenAid or Whirlpool refrigerator. WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING LG AGAIN AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE!!!

First time I have ever felt compelled to write a review but after reading through so many here and having the worst experience Ive ever had with a Customer Service group I really need to. For the reviewer who said they took a day off to be home for a confirmed (via email) service appointment that was a no-show cancellation because LG never actually had a repair person confirmed - the exact same thing happened to me two weeks ago today... I even called that morning 3 hours into my 4 hour window to verify and was told someone was en route only to find out when I called 90 minutes later I was only then told that the appointment was canceled. I later spoke with the repair facility and they told me they had declined the job because they didnt have availability!Seems Im luckier than most that my LG fridge has gone 8 years without incident. 16 days ago my wife opened it in the morning and it was totally dead. No lights, no compressor, just no power. The outlet tested fine but the lack of lights pointed to it being electrical. I called the toll free number for LG on the inside of fridge and the person seemed helpful enough; Said it probably needed a new motherboard, but because it was out of warranty he would need my credit card details and for $361 we could get this fixed. Thats cheaper than a new fridge so I gave him what I needed and they were certainly very expedient in putting the charge on my credit card! I started to look around on the internet to see if any other reports of this issue and if the fridge could in fact be saved and learned that this whole issue likely stemmed from a small, blown 15 amp fuse... A part that LG soldered into the motherboard rather than put in a easily bracket for easy replacement that could be purchased for about 25 cents. After the no-show appointment, LG Customer Service said they would give the job to another repair facility. They put me on hold, came back a few minutes later and told me they had left them a voicemail and they gave me the phone number and told me that I was free to reach out to them too. I phoned, and left a voicemail around midday that Friday and never received a callback. Over the weekend I phoned and left another voicemail to give them my cell # as well as Id be back at work on Monday and that would be the best number to reach me. By midday on Monday I still had not gotten a call. I did call the number through from the email confirmation the previous week and got a speaking person who gave me the true story on the canceled appointment and told me they could see me on Wednesday afternoon. Confirmed it with them and asked them to contact LG and that I would do the same to let them know that their other company doesnt appear to exist and they need to reassign it to the original technician they schedule. I called LG and was on the phone on hold for most of the time for almost an hour. After an hour and 20 minutes I was disconnected and nobody called me back (all this time Im at work and doing LGs work for them!). I called LG back on my way home and the told me all was good to go.Repairman comes on Wednesday (approximately 1 week since no fridge/contacting LG) after I take a half day to be home and the diagnosis is a blown fuse. Great, but despite it being known from the onset that the motherboard needs to be replaced he doesnt have the part, but they do have 2 in their warehouse and will work with the warranty company on the formalities to try and replace by Friday. No appointment gets made, Repair Service says theyre waiting on LG to approve. I call LG and they tell me another Department cant make the appointment as the Repair Services schedule isnt available online. I call the Repair Service and they tell me nonsense, theyre getting scheduling confirmations from them right now. I call LG back, they tell me theyre now waiting on the Claims Department to approve the part, a process that can take up to 3 business days (this despite charging me almost $400 to replace the part over a week ago).Monday this week comes and I have no phone call, and no appointment. I call LG back and again more being put on hold but now the explanation is were waiting on the part to come in. They couldnt answer me when their Claims Dept approved this so we arrived to this step, nor why we couldnt have had the repair facility (a LG contracted provider!) use one of theirs. They have in stock but Im starting to feel this whole thing is shady. They told me refrigerator repairs are given priority status (a joke!) and that my simple repair was being given a priority to be remedied this week.I called LG back 2 days later (Wednesday, 2 weeks of no fridge and first contact with LG) having not heard back from them and was told that the system shows that I was told that I would be contacted by Friday at the latest if the part had not arrived. I lost my patience at that point and told them I was not told the part coming in would take a full week and that I was instead told that my repair would be a priority to be completed this week and how could we be waiting on a part we knew it needed from the onset, that is readily available to purchase online at a fraction of what Im being charged, and that their repair service was in possession of 2 of them. I told them that rather than trying to bilk a few extra dollars of profit on this 5 minute repair job by using the cheapest available board they can assign in their system they really need to make this a customer resolution case as its been 2 weeks and I need to speak with someone who can look at this absurd situation and make an actual decision to get it fixed. They tell me they will try to forward me to a supervisor to see if they can help. After 10+ minutes on hold the person I was speaking with comes back online and tells me the repair appointment has been made for between 8 AM and 12 PM tomorrow. I thought someone in charge realized and was acting in customer-retention mode until they told me it was not the repairman who had seen me a week ago that would be coming but the one who never returned my 2 voicemails. I asked to confirm for certain hes bringing the board and fully prepared for the appointment to make the repair and am told is the case.I take another half day from work, and the repairman shows up early and when I let him in my house I half-jokingly say to him, Please tell me you have the board and he looks at me with no clue and says he didnt bring anything, the work-order he got only said LG Refrigerator - not cooling. Hes almost as angry as I am that he wasnt told the fridge was totally dead of electric and that another technician had already been here and made the diagnosis. I felt bad for him as he came from a good distance away in the teeth of rush hour having been told to make my call a priority but a total waste of his time and mine. At this point I called LG and just lost it with them and essentially told them their Out of Warranty purchase had to be some kind of scam bordering on criminality as there is no way a real business enterprise could be this incompetent! I was told my account was being escalated to their real Resolution people (i.e. the ones tasked with explaining the inexcusable) and it would take 24 to 48 business hours for one of them to contact me and no doubt the buffer is in hopes that Im much calmer.I have a family of 4 thats been living out of a cooler on my kitchen floor the last 16 days and running out every other night for a new 16 LBS bag of ice. I had to invest in a chest freezer for my garage so that we had some kind of food for my kids on-hand. Ive burned 2 full days off from work and have easily spent more than 3 hours on the phone during business hours on hold with LG. And my fridge is still not fixed, and no appointment in sight for someone to come here and essentially unplug 5 little plugs and then plug the 5 little plugs into the new board. And they charged me almost $400 for this level of service when I could have gotten a new board for $120 and done this myself.I think LG right now on the service front is trying to milk the last nickel of profit on these out of warranty purchases on the assumption it will be the last nickel they see from these customers. Perhaps a self-fulfilling prophecy experiences like this will make a reality. Maybe the US market isnt working out for LG Appliance as it doesnt seem like their heart is in it for the long-haul.

On the surface, this is an awesome refrigerator. It looks good, has lots of space and makes ice like crazy. Too bad its broken down 4 times in as many years. The first time was because it wasnt properly ventilated. Never mind that our Frigidaire that we keep in the garage goes through winter and summer cycles without complaint and cost about 1/4 of what this one did. Ok, my bad. That one was at least covered under warranty. Next time it was the compressor. And the time after that, the water valve. Now the freezer light of out (probably the freezer drawer switch). This is pathetic. The last couple of problems werent covered and neither will this one be.

We have only had this LG French door refrigerator since February and we have run into the same problem with the fan freezing twice this year. To make matters worse, we went through both LG and HHgregg - it was a hassle from hell. Going between two services for repair is long and painful. The tech guy came and had it working for 4 hours. We have tried everything. We are not happy with this product, but it seems like they want us to wait until theres a third problem that occurs. Right now it has, so now we wait. Bottom line: They need to give us a new fridge!

Our LG fridge stopped working yesterday. Its not even 2 years old. Came home to water on the floor and thawed food in the freezer. We think it is the compressor, not sure. We will be contact LG Canada and I hope they stand by their products. But this is still very inconvenient for us. The time without a fridge and the cost to fix an essentially new fridge. And it was not a cheap fridge to begin with and it stops working before we have even had it 2 years!! Would not recommend this product.

Keeps even temperature, easy to clean, very spacious. I liked the finish on it. Looked well with other appliances that I already owned in my kitchen. It had a nice price point to it, and I had an LG phone that I liked once that made me find the brand to be trustworthy. It absolutely has met my expectations, also I would recommend it, am surprised to have seen an LG fridge as I wouldnt of associated the brand with major kitchen appliances offhand. But more configuration options with the inner shelving. Perhaps offering even more choices in finishes than standard like fashion colors or a retro shape to it like a fifties kitchenette design.

Model WD-10165FU - I am a South African customer and we have a 9 year old LG Front Loader washing machine (in excellent condition) which has been giving trouble for some time. The problem has been intermittent completion of wash/rinse/spin cycle. I had to resort to taking back cover off and manually coaxing the pulley/V belt to turn the drum. At times during the wash cycle the water would drain out but no amount of coaxing would induce the machine to spin.Today I called out an L.G. Electronics technician who, after checking the brushes in the motor, told me that the problem lay with the P.C. board but then informed me that P.C. boards for this model had been discontinued and there was no other P.C. board which would work. And then the coup de grace - he said I would have to buy a new washing machine. Is there any reason for me to feel totally dissatisfied with L.G. products! I feel that L.G. Electronics have erred badly by not ensuring that such an important part is readily available. I now have to discard an otherwise perfectly working washing machine and outlay big money for a replacement, which most certainly will not be another L.G.!

It was competitively priced versus the competition and I liked the look better. It had most of all the features I was looking for. I had also heard very good reviews regarding LG refrigerators and decide to try it. I like the stainless steel look it had and also the amount of storage it had and also customizable shelving. The freezer also had a ton of storage and temperature controls were included as well. I dont have a whole lot of complaints. It has been and continues to fulfill its purpose. However, if I had one complaint it would be it has no ice maker.

I purchased LG wall oven 2018 LWS3063ST. After having two months I used self cleaning mode and it got so hot it burned up my oven. After three months of no oven and reordering of numerous parts replaced including, fuses, transformer and main motherboard and display panel the oven worked for light duty. I was advised to never you self cleaning mode again. We’re talking brand new oven, 1700.00 as this is typical for LG ovens. I was told the next time my oven would be replaced. Again I was told to never use the self cleaning mode. Fast forward to Jan 1st 2021. I go to turn on one and it won’t heat up. F19 error code. Main part is out again. Mind you, I have not used self cleaning mode since the last time and my LG warranty just went off and I’ve switched onto SquareTrade. They want to send parts again after I was guaranteed a replacement this time for this lemon oven. Apparently the service provider heaped all my visits into only two incidents and LG did not mark my account that oven would be replaced. You see they can’t tell me why the part keeps failing. LG just keeps sending parts for their warranty no matter what instead of replacing. I will not buy LG again. They should back their products. They just replace parts instead of unit until it’s past warranty and youre still stuck with a pile of crap but you’ve now exhausted your warranty and the same defective part that they haven’t fixed or self cleaning mode that burns oven up goes away and youre left with a lemon appliance that you now need to buy a new oven. My last oven was 20 years old. I used self cleaning all the time. Never had one problem or service call on it. LG is junk.

Slick and smooth with an Ice dispenser. The ice dispensed was fairly large and the handle was curved. The fridge itself was of average size. The freezer section wasnt unnecessarily large and was all the space I really ever required. The fridge could have been larger though, but not for its price. The size of the fridge couldve been larger with less unnecessary pullout shelves and more standard shelves. The door shelves were decent though. The production the the aforementioned ice was also somewhat long as well. The price of the refrigerator is what caught my attention. Then again, the fridge was on sale and wasnt at its standard market value, thus this opinion could be skewed or biased.

Had this machine for 10 months. Lid gets locked with wash inside, does not always spin out water. I have had clothes come out 1/2 wet, the other 1/2 dry. Today I ruined 3 pairs of pants. The 3rd load of dark clothes, 3 pairs of pants are bleach stained. I have also had strange spots appear on clothes. They werent there when I put them in, I have had to rewash multiple items because they do not come clean. Also using a stain or spot remover is a must. Want my old machine back. I purchased a washer in January 2013. It started giving a UE signal and delaying the cycles. No matter the size of the load, it kept doing this. It was serviced on April 9th, 2013. It worked fine for several weeks. By June it started the same problem described above. I attempted to make a service appointment online and it keeps saying there is no service for my area!!! I chatted online with an agent and this person (Gus). He asked me for all the information and also stated there was no service for my area and that he would talk to a supervisor to call me. This has not happened (7/18/13). On Monday 7/22, I called LG and the person (Richard) told me that all I had to do was to rearrange the clothes I was washing. I told him that was not a solution and I wanted it to be replaced or money refunded. There was a lot of discussion and then he told me that a repair person (who I need to call instead of them) would charge me for the service, which I refuse to do since this is a new appliance. I went to the store I bought the washer from (HHGregg) and the store manager called LG and there was no solution to the problem. I am not willing to keep this washer giving me such hard times!!

Updated on 5/17/2021: My previous review (Feb 2021) stated 3 repairs within 3 years. My gas oven (LRG 3193ST) will not maintain temperature. Taking 90-100 minutes to cook a pie (45 mins). We had a new oven replaced by Best Buy within 1 month of purchase (August purchase, November install 2017) because the display would not work when installed. We have had the ignitor replaced 2 times in the last 2 years (July 2020, Feb 2021) at our expense because they stated our warranty was expired when contacted first time.I received a call after my previous review (2/2021). The gentleman stated he would work with us either on replace or money back. But when I stated it was currently working due to repair the previous week, I was told he was unable to help us. The oven no longer maintains heat AGAIN only 3 months after repair. I tried to contact LG via phone and a recording state they were overwhelmed with calls to try again at another time. I tried a private message with no response. I AM A FRUSTRATED AND UNHAPPY CUSTOMER.Original review: We purchased a complete LG kitchen package August 2017. They were installed in November 2017 when kitchen was finished being remodeled. When turning on the oven the burners would work, but oven would not turn on. They stated it was the circuit board and a brand new oven was brought in and installed. In July 2020 the oven would not maintain temperature, at times not even turning on. Since it was not covered under warranty, we called a repair company to come in.They replaced the igniter. Starting in January we had the issue again. The oven would get up to heat then turn off leaving food completely uncooked. It would occasionally heat up and maintain the temperature but became so unreliable we rarely used it. Yesterday, February 2, I tried to cook dinner, the oven went up to temperature and then cooled down immediately. I turned off and tried again, the oven refused to heat at all. We now have another repair service call. It is getting expensive and the oven is so unreliable that I would not recommend an LG gas stove/oven.

Our family purchased a LG refrigerator four years ago. The refrigerator retailed for two thousand dollars. We started to have problems with the unit after two years with ice build-up on the back. After contacting LG they told us to defrost the fridge. We did that every four months as needed. Now after just four years we woke up to the refrigerator at forty degrees and everything melted in the freezer and now all the food has gone bad. The last refrigerator we owned lasted fourteen years when we gave it to our son still working. Today we spent literally five hours on the phone with service and tech dept. until I wanted to cry in frustration. I never have been through anything like this in the sixty years I have been buying appliances. I cant believe I chose this experience when shopping for a home appliance. But still do not think this is right in any way.

My washer is just over 3 yrs old and the bearing went. When I called LG to explain the problem they told me that the parts were under warranty but the service call wasnt. So they would charge me for a service call and the labor!! And then they went on saying and if it is something else other than the motor/bearing or parts that are covered then we will be responsible for the parts. All that is wrong is a bearing went and it should be covered a 100%. She goes on saying if you read page in your owners manual it goes over what is covered and that we dont cover service calls or labor. She was very rude and no help at all. I feel a washer should last longer than 3 yrs. I take exceptionally good care of my things and LG just falls apart. I am now looking into other companies that do repairs on appliances cause after reading other peoples horror stories I dont want any of their rude, unprofessional, crappy employers stepping foot into my home. On June 7 of this year my saga with LG started. They attempted the first repair on my not quite two year old refrigerator (LSFD2491ST) which has an extended warranty on top of being under manufacturers warranty. Till today there have been 6 repair attempts plus a few more diagnostic visits and they havent been able to make it work once. Lately the technician whose name is Kevin but wont tell me his last name has become disgruntled. Has failed to show to his appointments 7 times. This means 28 hours of waiting. He has stated on his last two visits that there is nothing he can do and claims he will deem unrepairable but when I call LG they say he has not named it so.I have asked for alternate solutions with other technicians or perhaps outsourcing to authorized service providers but they just keep rescheduling Kevin who hasnt been able to fix and has just stopped showing up. They say they reached out to him and his manager but nothing happens. The extended warranty company called Warrantech states their hands are tied since they only will use LG. I am out of patience and ideas; seems this company is stalling. This has been disruptive to my family, expensive in having to eat or order out much more often, having to wait for hours for a tech that wont show up and the anxiety that it has produced. Out of patience and idea short of a lawsuit. Anyone with experience in this?

Even though it says dont rinse the dishes, just scrape them, this DW doesnt get the job done. Ive tried all kinds of soaps and rinses and I often have to hand scrape food off the plates and from inside glasses. I had a Sears Kenmore for its lifespan and they dont make anything like it. Disappointed, wont buy LG again.

Don’t ever buy an LG refrigerator! Paid top dollar for a top model in 2017. Since then the compressor has had to replaced, and now it will not make ice due to an issue the company is obviously aware of because they issued a tech bulletin to the field that describes EXACTLY the issues I am having. It’s out of warranty now. They want $700 to fix it. Spoke with “Executive Services” after getting nowhere with their regular Customer Service. At least their regular customer service people were polite (if useless). The U.S. based Executive Services were downright nasty!

Purchased LG refrigerator model LFXS24623S in March 2017. After 3 months, the ice maker would not work properly, (would not tumble ice into bin). Service man replaced ice maker. Waited 24 hrs, checked for ice, no ice! Called again, and same service man came, checked everything, replaced entire unit. Checked next day, still no ice. Same service guy came again, ( I knew him by name by now), said there was a problem with this particular serial number line, he had just received an update by email, replaced entire unit once again, you guessed it, still no ice in bin. Bill, (not his real name) said there was nothing he could do other than replace the fridge. Customer service called sometime later to confirm the replacement to be done at end of August. By 1st of August, freezer would not keep food frozen. Some stuff froze others didnt. By date of this posting, all food in freezer had thawed. We had to throw all the meat products out. We are now waiting for the replacement and hope this one actually does what its supposed to do. Im hoping we just got a lemon as can happen with any products. One other thing, the customer service rep we spoke with did not seem very sympathetic but seemed to treat our phone calls with total indifference.

I purchased a WM3500CW LG washer and matching dryer from Home Depot. They were delivered and installed on 5/16/19. When doing the first load of laundry, the washer leaked from the bottom onto my new tile floor. I contacted Home Depot and after a bit of haggling was able to get them to provide a replacement which will be delivered on 5/23. Based on this experience, I have significant concerns about the quality and durability of my new laundry equipment to the extent that I requested LG provide a warranty extension. This request was refused by LG. I will never buy an LG product again and will be sure to spread the word to friends and family that this is a brand to be avoided.

Costco/LG sent a repair person twice over a course of almost 3 weeks. It still doesnt work and the repair person said it could be a couple of weeks before he returns with what he hopes is the part to fix it. I expect better from both Costco and LG.

I purchased an LG model # LRFD22850ST about 5 years ago. On and off for the last 5 years, my fire alarms would go off. We could never find what the cause was. Thought maybe it was just the batteries needing to be replaced in my alarms. Never thought it could be the lights inside our refrigerator. Then one day, I opened up the refrigerator to the smell of burnt plastic. The light fixture cover was melted to the refrigerator. The sockets were black, and the food on the top shelf was as hot as if it just came out of the oven. I peeled off the light fixture and was able to get the light bulbs out. I unplugged the entire unit and called LG. They told me there was a problem (I later discovered there was a class action lawsuit) and that they would send someone out to fix the problem. No charge to me. I was told that I should be fine to plug the unit back in but to make sure not to put any light bulbs in. They set up an appointment with a service provider they chose. The service provider called me and LG and refused to take the call. They said it was very difficult to deal with LG and were never able to get the parts needed. LG then chose another service provider. Same story. They refused the call for same reason. LG then informed me that they ran out of service providers in my area and that my case was being transferred to the Locator Department (I guess this happens quite a bit for the company to set up an entire department to find people / someone to service their appliances!). They said that would take 5 - 7 business days. Of course, this was on a Thursday and Columbus Day is on Monday. So they probably wont even start to look till Tuesday, which means seven business days is actually more like 2 weeks. But I should be ok to plug it back in and wait all that time and take the chance that my house will burn down! I have spoken to several repair companies and many salespeople, and all seem to believe that if an appliance goes on fire you should never plug it back in. So Im off to buy another appliance. Dont think I will ever get anything from LG. Customer service was horrible. If youre looking at appliances, I would think twice on an LG product.

Purchased French Door LG refrigerator from HH Gregg on 10/12/2016. Easter Sunday the ice maker did not work, the freezer followed. Called LG and was told that our warranty had expired. The warranty only last for one year. They said they would send out a technician on Tuesday. The Tech arrives and said he has to order the part (compressor) which would arrive on Friday. He is off on Saturday and Sunday so he would be back on Monday. The tech said that there are not a lot of tech that work on LG Refrigerators. Something is wrong any time a compressor goes up in less than two years.

After 15 years of waiting and saving our money, we finally decided to buy a large size LG refrigerator. We bought one LG large size fridge (Model No - GL-378PLQ4) with 2 extended warranty from Croma store on 30th April 2014. But from day one, only we started facing having cooling problem with fridge. We lodge 2 complaints within 2 weeks and every time they concluded that the Fridge is OK at their side. But when we lodged complaint 3rd time on 17th May 2014, the LG engineer found that yes, there is some issues with compressor and need to get it repair.Since its newly purchased fridge not even one month old, we requested them to replace it. Yes, the product has 3 years warranty. Then they finally started their game. Mr. Sandeep **, senior associate in LG office in Vaishali, promised us to get fridge replace within 2 weeks. But whenever I called them, either they are processing my request or in process state. Later on Mr. Sandeep ** informed me that the company has stopped production of this model and they dont have similar piece now. He assured me to return my money and got ready to initiate the process to refund our money.Again after having so many calls, Mr. **, Senior customer executives collected one cancelled check and they took signed on their document as part of their money refund process. May month was already gone and it was mid of June. Every time I called to LG customer executive person to request them if they can get the status of my request from Local LG executives. Later on, ** associate that handles replacement request called me up and said they cant refund my money, and will provide me another alternate model. Though I was not ready to accept after having such bad experience with them, still I got convinced and asked them to provide me a model at least with same configuration. Since we have already paid for that.I also talked to Mr. **, head of LG department. He convinced me that they will provide me a better model with better configuration than the one I purchased. They offered me LG Model GL- D372RLJM. Since we have been already frustrated from last 2 months with having *N* of calls to all senior/junior executives, I didnt had power to check on LG showroom now. Since they all were saying its latest model than your last model and its much costly than your one. I trusted them and asked them to deliver it. Finally on 3rd July, 2014 they delivered alternative LG model which was of medium size. Its one row less than our one. I called Ms. ** and asked her to take it back and said its not on agreement on what we convinced. She said they will look into the matter and will try to resolve it asap.I called many a time to LG customer executives, Ms. **, Mr. **. But I didnt receive any response. Then after one week, Mr. Sandeep called me stated that they cant do anything now because we accepted their replacement fridge and signed on their documents. And secondly, its being one week now and its too late to raise your voice on this. I tried to convey my message to them and said, Sir, Ive been calling to all of your executives since first day only when you kept your replaced fridge and ** knows all of this incidence. But he didnt agree and said they cant do anything now. Its not cheating and what we call it now. Company has stopped making more model of what we purchased. Thats not customer fault and why customer has to compromise with medium model in that case. I request to this forum if someone can listen my voice and do some justice to us.

They would have been injuries. Called LG service and they didnt know why this would have happened and wasnt under warranty as stove was manufactured May 08. Also, when used at Thanksgiving, turkey was under cooked as oven would come up to set temp but wouldnt hold for more then 10 minutes. Cooked an 18 lb thawed turkey for over 6 hours and still not done. This stove came with the house when we purchased. Dec 13. Cook top is impossible to keep clean. Must be cleaned every time it is used. Would never purchase an LG product nor a stove with a glass cook top or a glass front panel again.

The night before I got a call saying it wont be delivered because they dont have it. After many calls and the runaround I found out it was a system error and I will get my new fridge in a week. Still no fridge and still getting the runaround from customer service saying I shouldnt be calling them, Home Depot should... This is the worst company to deal with and I would love to return this fridge before it ever gets here. If it ever does! They are offering no compensation for my time or inconvenience of not having a fridge I ordered and paid for already!!!

Has been a good product overall. Some of the plastic parts have broken - cheaply made - but otherwise reliable. Has held up well over the last several years but at around 10 years starting to show some wear on the drum suspension from what I can tell. Guess most washers are only made to last at most 10 years. Then when a repairman came to see why it was shaking more than usual would probably be more prudent to buy a new washer than have the old one fixed.

I am having the same problem everyone else is having with their refrigerator. It broke down nearly three weeks ago. I do have a warranty which pays for parts but not repair, however all my food was bad and needed to be thrown away. Had a service man, who was very nice and helpful, who stayed for hours trying to figure out what was wrong. Finally after coming back many times he realized it might be the compressor. Had to order it thru LG which came 5 days later. Now realize I have no refrigerator at this time that works. Couldnt they send it over night delivery? Okay, now service man puts the new compressor in and the next day it worked!! Started getting ice, went to the store to buy food and spent $200. Very happy until today one day later, I wanted to defrost my London broil, which happened to be defrosted already because my refrigerator was broken again. I knew something was up when I had a smell in my kitchen. If there will be a suit against LG I would love to be a part of it. This refrigerator was a lot of money and Im sure everyone else feels this way too! I will never buy an LG product again!!!

LG Top Loader WT1001CW. DO NOT - DO NOT- DO NOT- BUY this washing machine. I agree totally with all the other reviews. It does not fill with water enough to even cover the clothes. There is virtually no agitation to get the clothes clean. Clothes usually remain in the same position in tub during the entire wash process and dry spots remain on clothes.. they didnt even get wet. I have had to rewash loads again just to try to get them clean but still they dont come out clean at all. Spin cycle is crazy and clothes just lay on top. This is the WORST machine ever made. I dont know how they get a good rating. Someone stacked the deck to trick consumers into buying this machine. I have had this machine for about 6 months and wish I could return it. We bought an LG washer one year ago. It started showing an error code last month. I called them, and the code is undiagnosable. For more than 4 weeks, I have been fighting the customer service department, including the team in Philippines and USA. They have absolutely zero empathy and concern for the customer. They have not been able to get my issue fixed at all. And now I am fighting with them about replacement. They seem to have a 1000 different departments for everything, and seem to be extremely poor at coordinating. Also, everything that they tell you...is pretty much a lie!! They go back on it all the time. USA team seems to be even more horrible than the Philippines team!! SO, if your appliance goes bad, you should be ready for a fight and harassment. We bought model LFX31925SB/00 in 2012. Within a few weeks it started making loud sounds and by the second month, it died the first time. LG sent a repair guy and he reset it and it was fine. After about four week, it died again. This time he came back and had to replace the motherboard. I had made a couple weeks worth of meals, because I was having a baby. We came home from the hospital and the refrigerator was dead and the kitchen was FLOODED!! We lost all of our food AND had a damaged floor. I had to deal with the LG customer service, which was a waste of time. They did absolutely nothing. Then I had to call hhgregg and deal with their customer service. Im not sure which one is worse. We ended up getting a repair man ourselves, who had to replace the motherboard three times. What we thought was a good investment has ended up costing us probably five times more than what we spent buying it, counting what we lost when it died. We wouldve been better off buying the most expensive, top of the line refrigerators out there. At least then we would have something that would be worth the money we spent.

Our compressor and coil failed on our 4 1/2 year old fridge. We bought the fridge from Lowes Canada with a 4 year extended warranty. About 2 years ago the fridge stopped working, all the food spoiled. We called the repair company and they fixed it. Just recently the fridge died. LG said they would send out a repair person in about a week! All the food spoiled. LG said the repair man would call us to schedule when he would be coming. The day before he was supposed to come, LG cancelled our appointment without telling us and said they need the repair man elsewhere and they would reschedule the appointment for TWO weeks later. Who does that to their customers? We called Lowes and freaked out. They sent over another repairman who said the compressor and coil were pooched. 3 weeks we waited for him to come back to fix it. In the mean time we purchased another fridge to put in the basement so we could get back to normality (not LG Brand). The fridge is fixed with new compressor and coil but the compressor will not stop running. LG and Lowes have both washed their hands and said there is nothing else they can do! I’ll I can hear in my house I’d the constant hum of the fridge all the time. I have never had such a bad experience with LG and Lowes Canada in my life. Too many apologies and no action. Purchased an expensive french door refrigerator in 2015. In 2016 the motherboard went out and we were out of a refrigerator for 2 weeks. Was advised to purchase the extended warranty to lower the repair cost (to $300). Now, in 2017, the compressor is out and we are again without a fridge for a week and lost all our food. The kicker? The compressor is under a 10 year warranty but only for the $160 part. LG is still charging me $400 for labor. Its their flat fee for warranty work, regardless of how long it takes. They overcharge for the labor to cover the cost of all the parts they have to replace. This fridge has cost me ~$1,000 is service and lost food and its only 3 years old. Spoke with supervisor Donald and he was rude, interrupted me constantly, and flatly refused to provide any customer to lower the labor charge since Ive had so many problems with this fridge. He told me to call other techs and see what they would charge--I have. No one else will work on LG fridge compressors because they fail too often. Im filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and sending a letter to the corporate office. I encourage everyone here who is a victim of LG to do the same. The dishwasher does not clean the dishes, and the soap dispenser always has caked on soap residue. As of this date, I have not had an oven for over a month. Bought a new white side by side LG refrigerator about 1 1/2 years ago from a local big box retailer. The plastic trim pieces around the electronic controls/water dispenser/ice dispenser have turned yellow. The refrigerator is bright white and the large bezel and drain plate is now a disgusting yellow. I first tried to resolve the matter with an online chat representative who was absolutely clueless. She couldnt even figure out what parts they were on her schematic. She finally gave up and had me complete an online upload form with pictures that I had to take. She said she would call me back after I uploaded the form. I uploaded the form with pictures and after two days no response. So I did another online chat with another agent. I gave her my case number and all she said is Sorry its out of warranty. She gave me the phone number of their parts distributor for the Eastern USA and the girl who answered the phone instantly put me on hold and never came back. This is ridiculous! The trim pieces are about $180.00. So, dont ever buy a white LG refrigerator and if you would like customer assistance on their product - Dont buy an LG Refrigerator.

LG LMX225964 French Door refrigerator - I wish I could rate this product as a minus 100. I have never made a worse appliance purchase and will NEVER buy LG again. This French door refrigerator is less than 6 years old (purchased from BrandsMart) and for the last 1 1/2 years Ive received Error IF every couple of months. This means the ice maker fan is frozen (AGAIN) and I have to remove all food from the refrigerator and freezer, put it in the garage refrigerator, and thaw out the unit. Although this process is reminiscent of an older, simpler time it is more than aggravating. I would replace the ice fan assembly but that part is no longer available and there is no replacement part (so much for making repair parts available for 7 years). LG lost a large class action lawsuit on a number of models having a similar problem, but alas my model was not included. (The law firm that handled that case is Callahan, Thompson, Sherman Caudill LLP, http://ctsclaw.com.) This may be the weekend I finally test-drive the sledgehammer on this poor excuse of a refrigerator.

I feel as though I might as well get a washboard out and do the laundry by hand.I replaced my upright washer, which was doing a fine job, so that I could have a quiet washer. The noise is louder and the clothes are embarrassingly dirty to the point where I cannot wear them.Nothing has changed in our laundry, same clothes, same people and same amount of wear. We do not perform any manual labor that would create unusually dirty clothes. My husband uses his washables to lie on the couch and watch television. I am a homemaker who hires out all of the dirty work. We both do workout, regularly. In theory, we are a washing machines dream customers.I hired a plumber to deal with the loud bang in the pipes and he told me it was the solenoid. Today, the solenoids were replaced and there is no change in the loud banging in the pipes. If anyone in the house is asleep, the washer cannot be operated because of the very loud bangs.

Purchased a LG microwave and in less than one year, it stopped working. Called the LG customer service line and was told that the microwave does not have any warranty. After I do some research, I decided to change the oven light and the microwave started working again but this time for only one week. This is the worst appliance I ever had. And after just one year, I have to invest another $600 to get a new microwave, but I will make sure not to get an LG again.

We bought our LG washer and dryer in 2006. You can take any of the complaints/descriptions from the others and put our name under it as our problems are the same as theirs. The problem with smell and extreme mold buildup started immediately and continues to this day. We clean it weekly with washing machine cleaners, bleach and dishwasher detergent to no avail. The washer door stays open when not in use. LG customer service? It does not exist. We will never buy an LG product ever--not even an alarm clock! I would give it zero stars if I could. We have a smelly washer filled with mold and mildew. We are going to buy a new washer today. Good riddance, LG!

The compressor went on our LG side by side refrigerator after only 3 years
The compressor went on our LG side by side refrigerator after only 3 years during the 4th of July weekend. Took 4 days to get technician to look at unit. He was here 5 minutes. Took pictures of model #s. Said he would be back in two days and replace compressor. LG said they would contact us regarding food loss. Nobody contacted us and they allowed $150 total for frozen and refrigerated foods. The compressor was ordered before the technician even looked at unit. I will never buy an LG product again.

LRE 3203 ST stainless steel electric range smooth top convection - This electric range is a Junk. Dont ever buy any LG appliances, same issue with the LG refrigerator and dishwasher. In 2012 just before Thanksgiving I purchased new appliances because I wanted all stainless steel thinking that these high-end all computerized LG appliances will serve me and my family at least for 5 years. Unfortunately I went with LG!! Big mistake!!!!! The worst appliances you could ever buy!!!The stove basically started having issues after 2 years. The burners stopped working, replaced the control panel, didnt work!!! We replaced the cooking element, didnt work. Called the customer service, they told me that this stove is too old and basically I have to pay for a technician to come out who is going to tell me what is wrong with the stove and pay for everything! Junk, junk, junk!!! Thank you LG, Thanksgiving is just around the corner. My 3rd cooking element stopped heating Tuesday this week. I have to buy a new stove now. LG customer service is not helpful, dont even bother to call!

I bought a 4 door LG refrigerator. Its a French door on top with 2 freeze drawers in the bottom. I paid about $50 more to get a counter depth which is fantastic for the space in my modular home with an air vent in front of the space. This model has plenty of space in the refrigerator compartment. It looks like changing the water filter will be easy and convenient. It does have a drawer at the bottom which is nice but it would have been a better design if it would slide out when only one door is open on the refrigerator. You have to have both doors open to utilize the space. The same with the right side drawer that holds produce. You cant get it open all the way before the left edge hits the center strip of the left side French door. I have only had it a month so will have to do another review after 5 years. This LG is a replacement for a 4 1/2 year Samsung that had constant problems with the ice maker freezing up.. I Will never buy Samsung products again. Their Customer Service is atrocious.

I purchased a LG microwave in August 2018. The microwave alone was over $300 and was purchased alongside a refrigerator, and stove (all LG smart appliances). The microwave was used a max of 10 times over the span of two years as I am in the military and spend my time on the base. I was shocked that a microwave used this few times could suddenly stop heating. So I called LG support line. I spoke to a rep named Risaldo, he informed me the magnetron was the issue and is under warranty for 10years. He walked us through the process to file a claim (which we filed immediately with all documentation) and informed me someone would get back to us in 3-5 days regarding scheduling the appointment.A few days later we receive an email stating the microwave is past the manufacturer warranty and they are unable to send a tech to fix the microwave. I called back and spoke to a supervisor who stated that they are unable to help us at this point even though the microwave has been used such few times and despite the item in question (the magnetron) being under warranty. Apart from the microwave alone being a terrible product, the customer service I received spoke very poorly of the brand and company. As someone who decided to spend extra money to purchase these LG products, and given the deplorable customer service I have received from LG, it is safe to say I will no longer be purchasing products from them. I have purchased and worked with customer service with Samsung and GE and have never run into this issue. My fiancé and I have extremely busy schedules and do not have the time to continuously call customer service to resolve a relatively simple issue. I would suggest reading reviews very carefully before investing into their products.
