The LOUD popping and BOOM noises! Samsung needs to be held responsible for selling and continuing to sell defective refrigerators for years it seems. I have model RF263BEAESR and the noises sometimes make me jump out of bed! I see after reading many reviews here, that so many people have this same problem. Service is coming out again to fix it, but the fix lasts a week, so what good is that? I bought it from Best Buy with all the rest of the appliances. Its a year of hell now and I am thinking about just contacting the credit card company and let them fight between themselves. I dont even want a new Samsung fridge in return. I want a comparable new one from a total different brand!!! THE WORST!!!

My side-by-side Samsung refrigerator, model RS265TDRS, was purchased in December 2010, so its about 3.5 years old. Very expensive unit. It started making noise sounding like a generator - so loud, I was afraid something was breaking in there. When I opened the refrigerator door it would stop, then start again when the door was closed. We moved the food into another refrigerator and freezer, unplugged this unit, and made arrangements with Samsung for a service call. (That itself was an adventure: Samsung rep never responded to email; the phone number in the refrigerator manual was for mobile phone service; the online form for a service request didnt work under several browsers. Finally used live chat and had the chat rep fill out the service request for me.)Two weeks later, I plugged in the unit in preparation for the service techs visit. No noise. The service tech called me to confirm the appointment, then suggested we cancel the service call, because (a) with no noise, he cant really diagnose a problem; (b) chances are it was just ice build-up and may never happen again; (c) removing the panel to get at the fan means removing all tech, because everything is attached to the panel, and that means replacing the panel because you cant just put it back on after its been taken off; and (d) something like his labor and the panel wouldnt be covered by warranty anyway after 3.5 years. These are expensive refrigerators. I like lots of things about it, but I think its ridiculous that I should have to unplug my refrigerator every now and then to make sure ice doesnt build up, and its ridiculous that this problem wouldnt be covered under a warranty. For anyone who has the same fan-sounds-like-a-generator problem, unplug it for a while and save yourself the hassle of getting in touch with Samsung. Im really hoping this solves the problem.

I scrolled down and read the reviews until the Dec. 28, 2010 entry where I found someone who had the same dishwasher as I have: DMR57. I loaded my dishwasher last night, put in the soap and shut the door to start it. When I touched the start button, it was dead. The whole touch panel was dead. Thinking somehow a breaker had blown, I checked on that and it had not. The machine was just dead. My husband is an electrician, but he didnt even get a chance to check the electrical. He shut the door and something inside, the latch broke. Now the door doesnt latch. We bought this unit in September 2008. After having it for two weeks back then, we called the service department explaining how touchy the control panel was. If you just skimmed the panel, you could turn it on or off. The instrument was replaced but it is still extremely sensitive. We began to put the touch panel in the child lock mode when in use and when not in use. By doing so protected the touch panel; we couldnt turn it on or off. It is awful when the dishwasher is on and in mid-wash cycle and you accidentally touch or skim the panel and the whole machine is turned off. This dishwasher does not restart from where the cycle was shut off. You have to restart the wash cycle from the beginning. Weve decided to replace the dishwasher with another brand instead of fixing this one. Dishwashers should last some 10-15 years. We will not be buying a Samsung. I must say that we have a Samsung refrigerator that I just love! I may jinx myself, but lets hope not.

The refrigerator side does not stay cold. Ive had technicians come to the house three times. Ive been told that Samsung has flaws in the design that cause critical areas to freeze up. Once frozen, you have to turn off the refrigerator for a few days to let it de-thaw, then turn it back on again. If that were not enough, because the outlet for the defrost water becomes frozen, you have to chip ice out of the bottom every few weeks. Do not buy Samsung!

Samsung has not responded to our complaint other than to suggest - after 1/2 hr. of discussion - that we call a repair company they recommended. That company said our induction pots dont work on this stovetop because of an engineering issue. They said there was nothing they could do. We returned to Sears in Nanaimo, BC. The sales person plugged in the identical Samsung range, with our pots on it. The pots heated up on the replacement range! The first range was obviously defectve, but neither Samsung of the repair company admitting it. Sears immediately offered us a complete exchange for a new Samsung, or a higher-priced (but unattractive) replacement range. Sears has been great; Samsung ... poor.

We purchased a Samsung Convection oven from The Home Depot in Jasper Georgia for a new home. The range main control board has failed after 18 months. I contacted Samsung and they set up a Samsung authorized service company to contact me. When contacted I asked the service company for a copy of their general liability insurance only to find out they were uninsured.I then contacted a reputable technician who confirmed that the control board was bad. I contacted Samsung and they would not consider replacing it. I also informed them that they were trying to send out authorized Samsung service companies that are uninsured and that did not seem to phase them. Therefore, I would not recommend purchasing their products.

I too bought a Samsung Model RF4287HARS/XAA and spent over $3000 for it while doing a remodel in our kitchen. We designed our kitchen around this (what we thought to be beautiful refrigerator) just to have our new wood floors ruined by this POS! The ice maker dumps ice everywhere. Water runs and freezes under the drawer to the point we cant open the drawer. Then it runs all over the floor and under the fridge. Weve called customer service several time to no avail. I have purchased a Samsung refrigerator and freezer (twin type). It started creating problems and was not working properly, just after installing. The problems were: 1) The hand hold could not be fixed on the door of the refrigerator; 2) The water freezing unit does not operate properly. So, I called Sum Service Company, which is the representative of Samsung in Iran, but no one was responsible for the problems! Once again, I had called the Sum service more than 50 times. After one month, Sum Service Company replaced our refrigerator with a new one. But the new one has the same problem - the water freezing unit still does not operate. I tried asking other consumers and I learned that the water freezing unit basically has this problem. Although Samsung has a worldwide reputation, I regret buying this type of Samsung refrigerator. In the last two months, this issue affected me both mentally and financially. I request you to advise the Sum Service Company about my problem as soon as possible. If you need to contact me, my email address is **.

Samsung warranty repair technicians have come to service my ice maker 4 times, once the ice maker was replaced, but didnt make a difference. The techs simply said there isnt a problem, even when I showed them the ice maker doesnt work! They are like robots and they would not document that they could not fix the refrigerator. I gave up calling them out. I hired two independent repair people and they came out and said it is unrepairable and a design flaw.

We purchased the DW80 series stainless dishwasher less than a week ago & only used it twice. 2nd use it would not drain & leaked water all over the floor. Customer service at Samsung is of no help & warned me we will be liable for service charges for their technician to repair. This is a joke... the appliance is less than a week old! I bought a full set of Samsung appliances & should have better researched to learn of the poor quality of their products prior to purchase. Buyers BEWARE - invest your money with another manufacturer that has reputable service & quality!

I get different reasons why it doesnt work correctly. Last outsider tech rep stated it was the smart app in the refrigerator has a problem. Samsung does not live up to its advertising or product warranty. Would not recommend Samsung to my worst enemy. In the advertising it states Stream music and videos, and watch your Samsung TV directly on your Family Hub... Also bought a new Samsung TV and they are not compatible. So states some Samsung reps. Others say that it should work. Spent a lot of money on garbage, in my opinion.

Bought our Samsung RF23J9011SR/AA refrigerator approximately one year ago. Ice maker malfunctioned. Samsung seemed familiar with the problem. The repairman mentioned a design flaw with regard to the small fan. They did quickly repair the problem for hundreds of dollars. It seems to me if they knew of the design flaw they should make the adjustments at their cost.

We purchased a Samsung side-by-side refrigerator from Home Depot in Feb. 20
We purchased a Samsung side-by-side refrigerator from Home Depot in Feb. 2014. First problem - within weeks of purchase was that the vegetable drawer had no control for air/temp, fresh veggies died quickly, even carrots and root veggies. We bought $100 of special containers to be able to keep food as fresh as the old fridge. Then within the first two months, we began hearing the often-reported fan noise from ice buildup. This got worse over time and I finally called for service, also complaining about the veggie drawer. Prior to that scheduled service being performed, the next issue was the ice maker failing to shut off, even with the door open and jiggling the paddle switch. Another call to Samsung to add the new problem to the fan noise.Service arrived a week later, with a wrong ticket number, no warranty information, and no parts even for the known issue. The tech corrected the paperwork, inspected and ordered parts. Samsungs Andy then called me after the service to see if repairs were completed, and I told them of the problems with the unit, as well as Samsung not providing proper information for the tech so the service was a failure. I was told we could qualify for a buyback, which I said would be taken into consideration, and was there a time limit. I was told no time limit since the service issues were reported within the 1yr warranty period. When the parts arrived, I called Samsung to explain we were seriously considering the buyback, but were in process with the previous service issues, and should I allow the service to take place. I was told to allow the service and did so. The service was performed, both issues I reported separately were handled together on one ticket. The entire back panel housing the fan was iced up, which the tech confirmed is not normal. The ice maker continued to repeatedly dump ice without stopping, jam, freeze up and require removal, thawing and drying, even after the service.By this time we have opted for the buyback, and phoned Samsung to request it. This time I was told by executive customer service member John, that what Andy told me was not how the buyback worked. Buyback could only happen if the unit is deemed non-repairable with three repair attempts. I explained I already made three service calls, had two repairs, as well as complaints on the drawer issue, and other aspects of the design and quality that were proving very annoying. Another service call was scheduled. This time the tech arrived and was briefed on the history and issues, along with our desire to take the buyback. He ordered a new control panel, which arrived and was installed on yet another service call. The new control did not display properly and was defective. It was removed and the old one installed in its place. I immediately called Samsung to complain about their total failure, and was told they did not yet have the service information from the tech, it should be there in a day.I called a week later to inquire on status, and this time was told by exec c.s. rep, Sherry that not only were there not enough service calls and parts replaced to qualify for a buyback, she had no info from the service company on the service. When she said she had to check to see if we were within some 30 day time limit on the buyback, after having specifically asked two exec c.s. people about any time limitation, I was angry to say the least. There were more communications with Samsung on status of the buyback, process, requirements, schedule, and was given different stories and reasons every single time. I called on 11-10-14 to inquire the latest status of the most recent ticket regarding the buyback process, and the exec c.s. rep told me they had only one ticket on their records; I have at least seven ticket numbers for these issues, four of them being the 510-number range generated only at the executive level. When the tech arrived today, 11-12-14 I made it clear that the only resolution is deeming the unit unrepairable. Because one of our reported issued included cracks in the interior refrigerator walls, the tech was able to get a status of nonrepairable from Samsung. In doing so, the tech had to communicate with both his company and Samsung. The first Samsung rep he spoke to was extremely rude, and actually hung up on the tech. The tech called back, reached a supervisor, and with a few more calls finally got the nonrepairable status. Now I am waiting for Samsung to respond. Under California law, we have endured more than enough repair attempts to qualify for the Lemon Law requirement to buyback or replace the unit. Needless to say, for the combination of poor design, poor quality, and downright insulting customer service, there will never be another Samsung product in our home.Other problems with the unit included poor freezer door fit, hung crooked and uneven, gaps between the inner and outer shell where the door seal must fit, may allow warm air in. The tech showed me how the ice dispenser door does not seal properly and is not well insulated, also letting warm air into the freezer compartment.Another little surprise we got, partially because of the imperfect door hanging, is that we didnt get the freezer door shut all the way one night, and I found it in the early morning hours. Cleared out the ice maker so it wouldnt freeze solid, closed the door and left it alone. Checking in the morning, the display showed the set temp standard of -2F and 38F, so I thought all was well. But when I came in for some ice at 2pm and opened the door, the freezer was 58F with ice cream running on the floor. The unit did not reset without unplugging and replugging, a surprise because we had a power outage of several hours some time ago and the unit was fine.So if you are considering Samsung, I suggest not. As a coincidence, as the tech was here today, a friend called and I told him what was going on, beginning to describe the Samsung issues....before I could even get started, he chimed in with the same litany of problems I have experienced with his Samsung refrigerator. The independent service techs were all professional, and were sympathetic to our problems with Samsung. They did what they could to make it possible to allow us to get some resolution. Both techs who visited us multiple times have a very low opinion of Samsung and their products.

My husband & I renovated 2 apartments in 2012 and purchased new appliances from Best Buy -- 2 French door refrigerators, microwave/cook oven -- to the tune of a $3,500 to $4,000. We thought this manufacturer had a trustworthy reputation, thus we bought their brand name. Unfortunately, problems abound with our refrigerator & microwave. The microwave required servicing as did the refrigerator. The freezer is cold but refrigerator is warm. Calls to the service department have been frustrating. Someone was to get back to us -- but didnt. In a total bureaucratic manner one blames the other for incompetency and POOR SAMSUNG SERVICE. Tell your family, friends, neighbors and even people you dont know well -- DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS.

Again like many of you who have Samsung french door bottom freezers, mine is now 2 year old and my freezer door will not shut properly because of the accumulation of ice in the bottom floor of freezer. So now in the fall and winter every several months I have to take out the top tray of the freezer and crack the ice behind it, wait till it falls on the floor and then clean it up, then the drawer will close. I have done everything they have told me to try and resolve this problem. Now I guess the next step is to call a repair facility to correct a design flaw of Samsung. We purchased a French Door Samsung Refrigerator - model number RF4287HARS/XAA 2.5 years ago. We paid nearly $3000 for it at Best Buy. A little over two weeks ago the ice maker went out and soon to follow was the freezer and fridge. We called Samsung and after three phone calls of escalation they finally agreed to cover the diagnostic as an accommodation since we did not purchase the extended warranty. The repair guy has been here twice and has finally deemed it as non repairable. Each visit was over two hours and most of the time was spent with him on the phone with Samsung tech support. They replaced the CFAN and the main PCB but it still will not work. The repair company has sent 11 pictures to Samsung showing the error codes still coming up despite the repairs. Samsung is giving us the run around saying that they want the repair company to come back out. Not only are we out a very expensive appliance, $100s of food plus having to eat out mostly, we have lost countless hours on the phone back and forth as well as waiting on the repair guy. At what point does a company stand behind their product and actually take care of their customers? Samsung should be ashamed.

I purchased a Samsung, over the range Microwave from Home Depot (Model #SMH181613) in December 2013. The microwave stopped working in March just three months after the warranty expired. While I did not expect the microwave to last forever, 15 months is a short life for any appliance. This would not be so bad if I had not also purchased a washer and dryer made by Samsung. Samsung Dishwashers 5E Drain Code Error Flashing Delicate Light Applies to many models. After much research, this helped me. Dishwasher went through all cycles but stopped after trying to drain flashing delicate light. Check the drain line and sink drain for plugging and kinks. Make sure the drain pump is working and not noisy. If it is check the motor resistance with a meter replace if needed from underneath the unit Part # DD32-00005A.MY problem was the rubber check valve / check vane at the bottom of the unit was twisted Part # DD66-00045A and would allow water back into the dishwasher. Hence all the complaints about dirty dishes. A Philips screwdriver is all you need to disassemble the bottom portion of the pump assembly from INSIDE the dishwasher and replace it. It is located at the very bottom of the sump outlet and you pull it out with needle nose pliers. Check the pump assembly diagrams online.Remove the small cover panel + clean off the white ECS sensor Part # DD82-01118A. If you get an E1 error check the resistance with a meter and replace from underneath. Clean out all the washer nozzles they plug up with food particles and re-assemble. Run a sanitize cycle with vinegar as described on Samsung website. This worked for me but there are other problems that may cause this like a control board or relay. Good luck! It wobbled so much that it loosened a hose and poured water all over my house…. My laundry is on my second level and I have a cat walk that water poured down into my living room and hallway on my first level and ran through my ceiling on my first level and through my walls down to my basement…leaving water spots on my first level ceiling and damaging several ceiling tiles in my finished basement. I didn’t notice all of the damage and the damaged tiles in the basement until months later when I had another issue with the washing machine and Samsung sent a third-party service company out here to repair it. They repaired the machine and left. Unfortunately, the service company called, Unique Repair (who I would never recommend, as they do not stand behind their work) managed to forget to connect the hose, which led to another incident of water pouring from my second level down my first level and through my walls to the basement. Fortunately, I was able to get the service techs back quickly to stop the machine and drain it, although the damage had already been done. We went into the basement; the service tech also taking his own photos. This second time around the water even damaged more basement ceiling tiles and left stains on my first level ceiling. Both companies, the service company and Samsung are trying to put the blame on each other. How lame of Samsung, since it is Samsung’s faulty washing machine, under warranty and Samsung sent the third party out here to represent them. The first time it happened it was solely on Samsung. The second time on the repair company. Either way, somebody should be responsible for the damage caused in my house. I have suggested to both companies that they split it, but they do not respond and or communicate with each other. Samsung does not stand behind their products. I am an innocent consumer that has been extremely inconvenienced twice by this Samsung washing machine and damage caused to my home, and Samsung support has been completely lame. Nonresponsive and not willing to provide any resolution. I would never recommend purchasing from Samsung. The last I spoke to Samsung customer support she was closing my case, I had no previous knowledge that my case was being closed, because it had been two weeks and she wanted me to provide quotes for the repair. During the world crisis going on it was difficult to get someone out here to quote me on the repair. Actually, It was against the law at the time, as nonessential workers would be fined if working during that time. I finally provided her with one quote and waiting to get another, so she would reopen the case, and she has not responded to me. I’ve reached out multiple times with no response. Seriously, what kind of company operates like this? I am a business owner myself and I would never treat my clients/customers this way. I stand behind my work. I’ve had to spend numerous hours dealing with both companies and getting nowhere. When I did nothing to cause this situation. I’m sure they are hoping to wear me down.

I have a Samsung RF 217 French door bottom freezer model. It is only 5 years old. 3 months ago water accumulated in the vegetable bins. The repair guy came and hair-dried the frozen water pipe. Now, the freezer has frozen-up. I called the repair guy. He just came but said he could not find a parking space so would not be available!!!!! He said he would call and come back. Well... no way. Electricians, plumbers etc find parking. This is A&E Repair for Samsung. Really bad Samsung so I will not buy anything Samsung. I am trashing this piece of junk and ordering a new fridge.

Weve always loved Samsung products but this refrigerator is a real lemon. The ice maker freezes up every couple of months and we have to use the blow dryer to get rid of the ice buildup. Now the refrigerator wont stay cold. Repairman says it needs a new evaporator. Price to repair ice maker and replace evaporator: $954. Took 8 days to get a Samsung certified tech out to evaluate. Language barrier with phone help desk technician was frustrating. I learned that Samsung, if you have to call them, is not enthusiastic about backing up their products. At least not their refrigerators.

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator in 2016. I have since had to manually defrost the coil and fan three times and as I am writing this, the fan is running noisily and tomorrow I will have to pull off the back panel behind the shelves and defrost it yet again with a hairdryer because this build up keeps the refrigerator from cooling. I am a disabled man living mostly on a fixed income. The refrigerator cost roughly $3000 which took me a year to pay off. I called customer service and the rep told me that he could do nothing about it. I asked to speak to his supervisor to see what recourse I had if any and was met with extreme hostility. He outright refused to resolve my issue or offer anything helpful. Samsung needs to teach its people what professional customer service looks like. I did not appreciate the condescending tone of their customer support agents. I also work for the largest home goods and building material retailer in the United States and have actively informed customers not to purchase any Samsung appliance until they improve the quality of their product and customer support. I would suggest that others provide the same service to family and friends who need to spend their hard earned money on a new appliance. Recently, we needed a new dishwasher and purchased a GE which my wife and I are very pleased with. Presently, we will never buy any Samsung product whether it be a household appliance, phone, tablet, TV or anything else. After the “convenient” freezer door handle, being only supported through plastic, broke off for the second time and after having manually defrosted the fan, coil, and heating element for the third time in two weeks, I bit the bullet and bought a new fridge. It seems you have to purchase the entire freezer drawer to fix one plastic piece. By the way, the Whirlpool I purchased has performed great with all the features of the Samsung for about 40% less cost. I have just finished writing a rather lengthy letter to the consumer protection agency documenting the numerous issues and failed CS conversations. I advise anyone thinking of doing the same be sure to document all calls (i.e. date, time, rep name, etc.). Take pictures with your phone of all visible issues including the rust spots your stainless probably has because of its apparent poor quality. I am hopeful someone may read this who can help...

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator on May 1. It has not been operating properly from the very first day. It froze everything in my refrigerator on two occasions and now it maintains a temperature of 55, which is above the safe level. The repair guy did nothing. It makes a very loud noise on the freezer side that can be heard in the whole apartment. I know something is wrong, but when the repair guy came, it was not making the noise and the food was not frozen so I was advised to just turn it off and plug back in because everything was computerized and it was impossible for him to tell what was wrong. Im going to have to junk it and get me a GE (what I had before). I will never buy another Samsung product.

Samsung induction electric range model #NE599N1PBSR - almost immediately this stove top was causing grief. Purchased in Spring 2014 before summer I had placed a call to Samsung to report the problems. I was appeased by the customer service person who declared it was my pots. I had purchased very expensive induction pots and the problem still persisted. I had induction pots as soon as I bought the appliance. I thought they might be inferior. It has continued for 2 years with no solution. Samsung has no record of my problem. Over a month ago Samsungs repair person came to investigate - has been 6 weeks, no callback, I have placed 3 subsequent calls, no callback. I spoke with Samsung today... they have no record, and cant do a thing, they will NOT honor warranty even tho the first complaint was lodged before the expiry of the warranty - once again they have no record of that call. Shame on Samsung. Elements wont work, oven shots off, at best I can use 2 elements at one time. I bought 4 Samsung appliances that day and already had the dishwasher serviced also. Such a waste of money!

I bought a 4 piece package consisting of Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Stove and Microwave. The Microwave was delivered with a scratch down the front. It will take 8 weeks to re-order. The Dishwasher requires a special water valve that ONLY Samsung sells separately. ie: You need a Samsung installer to deal with the issue since Home Depot, Lowes and local hardware stores have never seen this type of valve. The stove top blister after the first time. After a visit from their tech people they stated.... Thats the way it works and its normal. So after three meals, the top burners look like its 15 years old. Its a piece of crap. Dealing with their customer service is a joke. The only word they know is NO.

We purchased this product on July 27 2017. Months after we purchased it the ice maker started icing up and water started dripping inside the fridge. When you would hit the ice button you would first get water then ice would drop. The ice would not be totally frozen. Then water would drip out after you were finished. Three different times they have replaced the whole ice maker. On Nov 8 2018 they told our repair man they were going to do an exchange. Then on Nov 29 they had another company come in and fix it (3 time). On Jan 24 it started doing the same thing. When we contacted Samsung they told us it is now our problem. They are not going to fix it again. They totally lied to us about exchanging it. This fridge is nothing but junk and headaches. We ended up going to Sams Club and purchased an ice maker. You spend nearly $3000.00 for a refrigerator and you cant even have it make ice. Buy from a different company. They know they have problems with this refrigerator and they wont stand behind them. We will never have another Samsung in our house. Read other reviews on this. I know others have the same issue. We read them but we thought they had the issues resolved. Boy did we find out the hard way.

Today March 22, 2018 theyre laugh while putting you on multiple holds. Customer rep told me to fix it myself and then submit my bill to them and they may reimburse me. I called Sears appliance repair for an estimate with parts and labor. It would be between $590 to $700. We paid $1169.00 for our Samsung refrigerator. It should not break nor should we be out of pocket $700. Plus we lost all the food in fridge in freezer. Go to Samsung FB page. They treat consumers horrible. I have called multiple times, filed a complaint yesterday with BBB, Attorney General & CFPB. They the compressor is still under Manufacturers Factory Warranty. It has 3 of the 5 years left. There should be a Civil Suit filed against Samsung. Worst Refrigerator ever. Customer Representatives should all be fired. They are rude and lie to you. Ask for your ticket number that they have had for weeks. The automotive service knows my name when I call to get me right over to their rude customer service reps at the REPAIR Line.

Samsung RF28HMEDBSR French Door Refrigerator - Bought ours Nov. 2014 and bought the exact same one for my mother-in-law about a month later. Our ice-maker started acting up and freezing almost a year to the day after purchasing. Then lo and behold, my mother-in-laws did the exact same thing about a month after ours started (about one year to the day for her too). I did the hairdryer defrosting trick about 5 times in a two month span and had had enough... Too much work for ice, seriously! So then I got the bright idea to shut the ice-making ability off and buy bagged ice from the store and put it in the dispenser bucket. Works fantastic, except when you pay $2300 for a fridge with an ice-maker, one shouldnt have to purchase ice!My mother-in-law has appliance guard from Black Hills and they came out and fixed it a couple months ago, and it froze over again (just received an email from her this morning). I feel terrible because we purchased this for her as a gift and bragged how much we loved it; that was before the problems. If anyone has a fix, please post the link here. Theres been lots of theories, but I dont want to call out a repairman to temporarily fix what I can do with a blow dryer... ugghhh. Why no class-action lawsuit yet? The complaints are endless on their ice-makers, etc.

I bet we havent used the dishwasher 10 times. We bought it before the condo was finished remodeling. It sat there until the builder could finish so the warranty is right at a year. Even tho we havent been in our condo a year. Its a beach condo so we are not here all the time. You literally have to slam the door to get it started. It washes for 2.58 hours according to the button on top. (If you can get it to run). It stops and starts. We have called Samsung did everything they suggested by unplugging it. Nothing they suggest works. Piece of junk Dont by Samsung dishwasher. Exactly why they dont have a better warranty. Youre just screwed.

The more I try to cook on this stovetop the more I am convinced that the burners don’t heat correctly. I have bought several new nonstick skillets and they seem ruined after a few times cooking in them. I am not a chef but I am not a novice either. I’ve been cooking for over 30 years and this doesn’t seem right. I usually use the right front burner and go with the medium middle setting, never on high. And then I would turn it down to low and things still get burnt. I dont even want to address your Samsung customer service because I know how they give the runaround. My microwave was defective - I saw sparks flying from the inside and turned it off. They did end up refunding the money for it but I had paid to have someone to install it above the stove so I lost $200 there. Plus I had to jump through many hoops to get a refund.

We have had the Samsung Refrigerator Model RF263BEAEWW/AA for about 1 1/2 years now which we purchased from Conns... a.k.a. Cons. This will be the 3rd time that we will have to call the repair service for repair. Because our refrigerator is out of warranty, we are, so to speak, been screwed by the pooch. Conns will not step up to the plate and offer any kind of service or help... Will never go there again, nor recommend that store. (NFM here I come). Nor will Samsung say that there is any problem with this defective product though they have Class Action Lawsuits against them for similar products. Needless to say, we will never step foot into a Conns (Cons) store again, nor buy Samsung if they will not stand behind their product. If anyone has any suggestions or help, it would be appreciated.

Dishwasher with water wall - It started to be defective a couple of months
Dishwasher with water wall - It started to be defective a couple of months after purchase (stopped working and showed a message on the top of the door to indicated what the problem was). Got repaired. But since at first, the problem was sometimes present and sometimes it was okay, they told me it could not be repaired and I would have to pay for the visit if when he comes, he cannot see the problem. So I had to wait for it to be defective all the time for them to repair it. This happened after a month since the beginning of the problems. One year later was defective again but this time more than one problem had to be addressed. The pump had a problem. The water wall isnt moving so the dishes that are on the lower part are not washed. And the motor had to be changed (I dont know if this is the same thing as the pump). And I had to wait a whole month for the parts to be available so these problems had to wait. Then someone came and repaired, or tried to repair. The motor or pump works better, it doesnt make that weird noise anymore, but the water wall isnt repaired, the repair didnt work. So the water wall will have been defective for a month and a half if this time he is able to repair it, or longer if he is still not able to repair it.The extended warranty applies only if the same part is broken three times, not if one part is defective, then later another part is defective and so on. Also the extended warranty can apply if in the end the dishwasher will not be repaired, but how long will I have to wait for them to decide they end the trying to repair period of time? Also, this time they will probably replace the same part that had been replaced during the first year of warranty. But since it happened during the first year of warranty, it will not count for the extended warranty that started at the end of the first year. So even if the part is replaced a third time, the first time will not count. In other words, there is not much chance that my dishwasher that is always defective will be replaced. I am stuck with it. I will never buy a Samsung product again. This is a shame, it is always defective and all this time waiting for a repair wastes time of my warranty since nothing is happening. They should replace it after three problems, not three times the same part broken. And they should extend the warranty during this whole month when I am waiting for it to be repaired. It was an expensive dishwasher. What a waste of money.

Our refrigerator stopped cooling so we had an authorized repair person in. At first he thought it was repaired but the same problem occurred 3 and 1/2 months later. He returned and determined that the unit was irreparable. Corrosion was occurring because the upper cooling unit couldnt drain during the defrost cycle. The whole back panel freezes up to the point that the circulating fan hits the ice and makes a horrible sound. Samsung was sent pictures by my repairman and are giving me the run around. I paid well over $2000 for this refrigerator and now it is worthless in just over 2 years of usage. My mother-in-law has a refrigerator in her home that she bought 30 years ago that works better. I purchased my Samsung Refrigerator RM255LASH from Lowes on Christmas Eve (the only place open with a refrigerator we could take that day). It was the last one and a floor model, but we had no choice. Also, the price was $2,100, which is quite high for a refrigerator but again we had no choice. After three years, the icemaker stopped making ice. We did not do anything about it. Then it started leaking water but again we did not do anything about. I thought it had something to do with the icemaker. Then the freezer stopped freezing. Again, I procrastinated and did not call Samsung. In January of this year, it started making a horrible noise and stopped getting cold. At this point, I contacted Samsung because there are no local appliance repairmen willing to come and look at a Samsung refrigerator. There are no parts available to them. I had someone Samsung recommended to come out and look at it. Its something that should be covered by the five-year warranty. I was assured by two people at Samsung that they would take care of it even though I could not produce a receipt (my Lowes receipt was completely faded). Now after three months of going back and forth between the appliance repair company and Samsung, they said they will not cover it unless I produce a receipt. After reading the many complaints about Samsung refrigerators, it seems to be the norm that they do not last for more than 3-4 years. They are overpriced and inferior products. I would warn people not to buy Samsung because of all of the above and also their poor customer service.

My new dishwasher does not dry dishes. Funny, the sales person never mentioned this. Do not expect any customer service from the Appliance Factory/Brand Source. They do not return calls and they do not stand behind the products they sell. There were hidden charges upon delivery, which is not free. I can only hope that other consumers do not make my mistake in going with this small guy store. I will stick to the big box stores from now on since they at least offer responsive customer service. The appliances were not cheaper at Brand Source and they lied about actual delivery charges. If you’re satisfied with only having your dishwasher wash your dishes and do not mind drying them yourself, then this WaterWall Samsung Dishwasher is for you. Very unhappy with Samsung dishwasher that lasted 18 months and 3 repair persons. All said it needed a new circuit board, which we ordered and the dishwasher still did not work. We trashed it and bought Kitchenaid and are very happy. We have other Samsung appliances and I am holding my breath. They are not great and not worth the money no matter what the sale price is. For your wallet and sanity, do not buy Samsung appliances.

My new Samsung French door refrigerator (RF18HFENBSP) that I purchased from Sears in not working. It is only 4 MONTHS OLD. I called Sears and they explained that I would have to deal directly with Samsung Service. I called the 800 number and was issued a ticket number. I was told that someone would call me in 24/48 hours. That did not happened so I called myself. After being on hold for over a half hour I finally spoke to person. It will be 5 days before a technician can come and see what is wrong. That will be OVER ONE WEEK that I do not have a refrigerator. I wish Sears would have told me that they do not service the Samsung appliances. Judging from the reviews that I read (wish I read them before my purchase) I would not recommend Samsung appliances. Somebody should protect consumers from companies like Samsung.

We purchased the Samsung stainless steel bottom freeze refrigerator (Model RF4287HARS) from Lowes last November. The water from the dispenser is fine but the ice has a musty/plastic taste when it melts and is unusable. I contacted Lowes service and they scheduled a repairman to come out and check the refrigerator. The service guy ordered parts and in a few days, replaced the filter housing and hoses. The ice still tasted bad. I called back to Lowes service and they schedule the service guy to come back. He replaced the ice maker this time but that still did not correct the taste issue. I called service back and they suggested scheduling the service guy for a 3rd visit even though all the parts had been replaced. This was suppose to trigger an automatic Cannot be Repaired process and Lowes would request a Return Authorization from Samsung. First, Samsung refused to revisit the taste issue and also refused to issue a Return Authorization number. More or less, Samsung is saying were stuck with a refrigerator we cant use the ice from. Lowes Customer Support called and said they had done all they could do and that we could contact Samsung ourselves. We talked to a person in Executive Support thats suppose to be trying to get this resolved but, for now, were stuck with this refrigerator. We will never buy another Samsung product of any kind!!! If Lowes doesnt handle this to our satisfaction, we wont do business with them any longer and with our house remodeling business, we buy quite a lot from Lowes each year.

We purchased the Samsung 30 slide in electric range manuf. March 2021 from Lowes and it was delivered Oct. 2021. The burner has twice inadvertently turned on by just bumping the front dials. In both cases there was something on the stovetop that CAUGHT ON FIRE. This happened once to myself and another time by a contractor working in the kitchen. Researching, I found two videos on Youtube that documented similar events. Since the stove has been in place over three months, I cannot return it to Lowes and I have spent many hours unsuccessfully getting assistance from Samsung. This has been a problem with Samsung stoves, apparently for several years. Please, for your safety, DO NOT BUY.

Samsung NE59K3310 Electric Range - Just bought it brand new from Lowes and the oven never gets up to the set temperature. When the beeps ring out that it is at set temp we only get 200 degrees and wait for over 15 minutes to get to 335 degrees. We bought an oven temperature gauge to test it. I followed the factory adjustment procedure and increased it by 15 degrees. Now the oven takes 30min to get to 350 degrees but drops to under 300 degrees within five minutes and doesnt come back up. Before I called to get it fixed I googled Samsung ovens and find so many defective units. Its mind boggling. I have decided to return it to Lowes and buy a GE, Whirlpool, Maytag or ANYTHING else. The other problem is the amount of pressure it takes to activate the controls. Being male with no fingernails makes it easier, but my darling has to use her knuckle to press to get enough pressure to activate the controls.

First, when using the center burner/griddle (that was provided with the stove) I am not able to place pans on the other burners. Secondly the Air Fryer is a great feature, perfect for making Buffalo wings without oil, however since the oven is so large it takes longer than a stand alone air fryer. I do love the size of the oven. I can bake a huge Turkey with plenty of room to slide in some large baking potatoes. This stove is a replacement for an electric stove. So happy with our choice. I can regulate cooking temperature on each burner with ease. No burning or over cooking with gas. Baked goods turn out fantastic. Love the ability to use either Bake or Convection Bake.

About two years ago I bought an over the range microwave; SMH9187ST is the model number. Worked well until one day it started making a beeping sound. I went to go investigate it and found the -SE- error. From what I gathered online from different sites, it is a control board issue. It has been a problem since 2009. Here we are in 2014 and they have not fixed the problem with the control boards. Since they do not make the microwave anymore, there is no way to replace the control board. I will only buy Samsung phones. The rest of their products will fall on my deaf ears.

We bought our Samsung Refrigerator less than 2 years ago and we have had problem with the refrigerator since. Constantly having to defrost the unit manually because it freezes up and finally, 3 weeks ago we starting having a noxious burning smell come from fridge. Although Samsung did extend our warranty past the 12 months, since we have had multiple issues, they could not find the root of the smell after 2 service calls. The last service rep called Samsung and they said that their refrigerators do not emit smells. Well according to both of the service reps, it certainly did. The last one said it even left a bad taste in his mouth after working in the fridge for a little while. A $2000+ refrigerator that didnt even last 2 years. Trust me, dont risk your money on a Samsung.

PLEASE READ. I purchased a Samsung refrigerator model number RF197ACRS in December 2012. It took not much more than a year and a half before I started having issues with leaking and frost build up as described by many other Samsung Refrigerator owners. Samsung support is a joke - belligerent agent who refuse to identify themselves with a company ID#. Refuse you to speak with management or any other company officials. These issues we are having are not typical repairs. They are design flaws and Samsung should take responsibility for them.I have a refrigerator. I paid nearly 2000 dollars for and a year and a half later is virtually useless to me unless I spend countless dollars keeping it running. There are no Lemon Laws in Canada to protect consumers for faulty appliances. If there is a class action against Samsung please inform me. If there is not and you are willing to start one I will start one. Guidelines prevent me from posting email or phone. Please find me.

Quality, Repair and Customer Service Problems with Samsung RF266 - Our frid
Quality, Repair and Customer Service Problems with Samsung RF266 - Our fridge stopped cooling 4 weeks ago. We called our home warranty for service. The authorized repair person was hired through Sears who showed up in week 2. The repair person notified us that the issue is with twin cooling system and it is a known issue. He added that to identify the leak, he needs to use a die test developed by Whirlpool. However, Samsung will not let them use this troubleshooting tool. If used, it would nullify Samsungs 5-year warranty on the twin cooling system. So $225 later, we were told to contact Samsung for repair. We ended up calling Samsung Customer Service three times. First time, they told us to call the same repair shop (A&E Factory Service). We said that A&E had already been on site. Then we were given the phone number for a second shop. That shop (Affordable Appliances) would not return our calls (5) or Samsungs (at a later time). Next time, we were told to call another repair shop which ends up being a Samsung TV authorized shop. On next call, we were told to wait for a call back from Executive Customer Service desk. The call came in many days later. They ensured us that they will work on identifying a repair shop. Couple of days later, Sammy rep called asking for a copy of purchase receipt. A copy was faxed the same day. We are still waiting for Samsung rep to call us back with a plan of action to fix this 3-year old fridge. Meanwhile, our home warranty team has been trying to find a repair shop who would work on Sammy fridge. They went through Sears to bring in a second tech. A second repair appointment was made to bring in a higher (supervisor) level tech. A week later, the same tech showed up. He advised us that he will do as his ticket instructs him. But without having Sammys authorization to use Whirlpool part to identify leak, he might not be able to help us. Two and half hours later, he left with no diagnosis (or fix).We directly hired another shop from a different town to repair the fridge. This tech came up with same conclusion that the problem must be Low/no coolant due to a possible leak. However, with Samsungs restrictions, he can easily identify the leak. So far, we have spent the following: $500 in spoiled food, $400 in tech visit, $500 in purchase of a utility fridge for garage, and more than a thousand for eating out every day. There is still no end in sight! Here is what we will do in our case: stay focus, keep calling Sammy to identify an authorized local repair shop, keep track of our communications with Sammy, and we will not give up on getting this unit repaired or replaced under warranty (from any party).I am a professional engineer with background in global product development and manufacturing with emphasis on quality. I have worked with (not for) Samsung in the past. Samsung is good, if not better than most companies in product development. Most other companies have outsourced their product design and/or manufacturing to 3rd tier companies in Asia. What we have here is a design related issue that surfaces any time between first and third year (based on all blogs). Samsung would not acknowledge the problem to avoid recall action. In situations like this, the legal team is in the driver seat to minimize the cost of recall and other associated expenses. In situations like this, the brand/company involved will try to drag the engagement as long as they can. This way, some of the customer will drop off and replace their units on their own. Some will pay to get their products fixed. Others will receive a full or partial payment from Brand/Company for repairs. Limited few might get some level of assistance with product replacement.

I bought this for my 2yr old Rottweiler, Tika. She loves watching Animal Planet, but I don't feel comfortable sharing the one located in our grand cinema room anymore since she growled at me aggressively when I tried to change the channel last time. They say compromise is the secret to any relationship ( including your pets), so the solution was actually really really simple: purchase the same TV again for her room. As a satisfied customer, I can now safely watch my football and my dog can continue to discover her true roots, and how humankind has bread her species over generations into a docile commodity you can put a leash on and assign a name to. Overall, it's a great TV. I was seriously considering a Christie projector at first, but the cost of ownership was a little too high for me (e.g. bulbs and maintenance).

Fridge purchased less than 2 years ago is not cooling. We have the problem for two weeks already. The food gets bad. The upper part of the fridge does not cool. We call Samsung several times. First, a representative was trying to repair it while on the phone. One of those, Mr. **, with very bad attitude. So, we turn off the circuit breaker for 30 seconds, then again for a minute but nothing. After another call, Samsung gave me a repair case number and said someone will call me. Waiting a few days, no one called but Cristina ** sent an email 3 days later to tell me I have to call to schedule the repair. Her office was closed at the time I read it, so I called the next day and left 4 messages. It seems she called in the afternoon and talked to my son who has a disability. My son didnt know much about what was going on, so Cristina decided to cancelled the ticket. I called her the next day to ask her why it was cancelled after I left so many messages but she didnt care, and told me to call Samsung to get another repair case number. This means to wait again a few more days. Now Cristina refuses to do the repair saying that I was rude, yes I was very upset, and Samsung does not have any other company to do the repair. So, Samsung wont do anything even though this fridge is still under warranty.

It leaks, and Samsung is refusing to replace it. Dont believe their warranties, they will try their hardest to get out of actually doing anything. It failed with a LE code and a puddle of water. We called the same day, and the earliest the Samsung-contracted repair tech could come was a week later. Samsung doesnt contract with a real repair company, its something called General Appliance and Insurance Service. The tech showed up with no parts and almost no tools, and in a tiny car that couldnt haul a dishwasher. He pronounced that while he could see evidence of water (dried soap residue), he didnt see any water, so there was nothing he could do. Never mind that we live in a desert and it had been a week since it leaked. We got on the phone with 1-800-Samsung, who transfers you to Executive Service, which is the call center where they tell you jokes before giving you nothing. I told ** that the tech had been unable to find the leak and made no repairs. Given that nothing had been fixed on the unit, I said it would leak again and asked for a replacement unit. ** refused. He said it has to leak three times before they will replace it. The next day, it leaks again. We call it in, and now were waiting for the tech to come out and do nothing again, knowing weve got at least one more round of this circus before I can throw this piece of trash into their truck and get a decent dishwasher.

Our Samsung FE-R300SX is 3 years old and we heard a loud pop and saw flames and smoke shooting out the back of the range. The circuit board caught fire. Samsung will not cover any of the expenses. Thankfully we saw it right away and our kitchen did not catch fire. This range should be recalled for safety. My husband and I were headed out the door when we heard the loud pop and saw the flames. We were baking Tater Tots and had the oven timer on. Our son was in his room playing video games and was going to turn off the oven when the timer went off. Our kitchen would have been on fire before he would have noticed a problem. We paid almost $700 for this range on sale and it is only 3 years old. We are very unhappy customers and will never buy anything Samsung again. They didnt even call me back about the problem. They sent an email to say they were sorry it caught fire, but they set me up for an out of warranty repair that I will have to pay for. I called them back and was told that I had no recourse and they would not cover the repair. Even thought there is a 5-year parts warranty, it does not cover the circuit board which caught fire.

Purchased Samsung Refrigerator in April of 2019, by Sept of 2019 freezer stopped working, a week later refrigerator stopped working. Called samsung and they sent out 2 different repair places, first one told us it was a sealed system and they did not work on those. Called Samsung back and asked them to replace the refrigerator they said they would have to try to repair first and unless there was a second problem that came up they would not replace it. Well that second problem was the refrigerator stopped cooling, I placed a thermometer that I purchased in refrigerator and took pictures, of temperature. The thermometer said 48 degrees while Samsung digital readout said it was 34 degrees. We lost over $400 dollars with of food and we see that Samsung will possibly reimburse up to $200 (maybe). Second repair person came out and said that he could not fix problem today that he would have to order parts which would take 3-5 days to get then schedule another appointment to do a temporary fix, he said he would recharge the system and then when we saw a temperature change of 10 degrees to call them and they would send a tech back out to attempt to find the leak. He stated that once they found the leak they would have to order parts and schedule another appointment to fix said it could take 2-3 weeks. All he did was take down serial number and model number never even checked out to see if he could find a problem. I called Samsung back and they did their Usual BS trying to get me to wait on repairs that could take another 2-3 weeks. I told her how about I come to your house and take your refrigerator away and you have nothing to store food in would that be an inconvenience. She said I understand your frustration but there is nothing I can do. I asked to speak to supervisor and she finally approved to replace the refrigerator said it would take approximately 7-14 days to get a replacement. Their Customer service Sucks. The refrigerator is a POS. I will never purchase any Samsung Products no matter what From here on out. Save yourself the headache and stress of having to deal with them and buy anything but Samsung. The top ice maker still works but continues to ice up on the outside and will not defrost. I contacted a local tech for repairs and once he heard Samsung - he refused to visit for repairs. Mentioned lack of parts, difficulty of design for making repairs, lack of technical help from call center, etc. I went to Lowes, where we purchased for a recommendation and was told that they had no suggestions for help. Local techs had actually called them and told them not to send these repairs to them. I asked if they still sold Samsung products and he said YES. Unbelievable! That part is 178$ and the labor is 135$. The labor on this job is obscene. There is no one at Samsung that you can talk to and I hope they fail as a business and go under. Bought Samsung model DW80F600/AA dishwasher from Lowes for all the features
Bought Samsung model DW80F600/AA dishwasher from Lowes for all the features it had like quietness, stainless steel exterior/interior and food grinding capabilities. All was good until it suddenly started leaving dirt on dishes. After trying a few different dish washer detergents, decided to call in for repairs. Could not get a technician immediately so had to wait about a week. The technician eventually came and I must say he was really on time. He took a look and decided it was a return valve that needed to be replaced. However, he did not have it and it had to be ordered. The actual part was a small rubber valve that costs under $2. How it would not be in his van really beggars belief. So he ordered the part and had to come again after two weeks to allow for the part to arrive (was shipped by UPS ground!).Second time round, technician was not as much on time as the previous time but in fairness, called in early to say he would be late. So I have no fault with that. He called again when he was about 10 minutes away so I met him at my property. He quickly replaced the valve and ran a quick test. All seemed fine. And now the big disappointment! After just a couple of days, the dishwasher started behaving the same way as previously. I thought, if the original diagnosis was correct, then the return valve must have gone again. I looked at the return valve and it looks like a part that can easily fault so obviously Samsung never gave it some real thought. And now that they know it bends so easily, why dont their technicians carry it in their vans and as a result have to make two trips to carry out a repair? So, continuing with the dishwasher saga, technician called in again. As usual, the first visit is without parts but I still have to wait in the house for either a morning or afternoon appointment. This time decided he needed to replace two more parts (a sensor and a drain pump). As before, had to wait for the parts to ship by UPS to my house. Another appointment in 2 weeks to allow for the parts to be delivered.Fourth time, they sent a different technician. Spent about a couple of hours replacing the parts. Said all was well and left. Hardly a day went by and the same error code resurfaced. All this time, I had been calling the number that was provided by Lowes to schedule service. But this time, I decided I would call Samsung customer service direct. Did so and told them I have already had 4 technician visits. They said they do not have any record of it! They set me up with a new technician to come in and take a look. First appointment was on a Thursday but they cancelled it a day before saying the parts will not have been available. So they set it up for the Friday following the Thursday. Technician came, opened the dishwasher bottom piece, asked for a paper towel, wiped away some water from the sensor that was replaced previously then put it back. Ran a short cycle and it would not drain. He then concluded that it was not working as expected because I had a food disposal unit on the sink. Told me that their appliances should not be connected to the same plumbing as the food disposal so advised that I get a plumber to modify the plumbing. Was fed up at this stage. How on earth do they make appliances that will not work if there is a food disposal attached knowing very well that almost every modern American home has a food disposal unit under the sink????Looked up the user manuals. Found no evidence of mention of food disposal units so decided I was being taken for a ride. Called Samsung customer service again and they told me all they can do is send a technician again to get a second opinion. Told them I already had 5 visits. They told me they only have evidence of one. Asked to speak to a supervisor. None was available so set up an appointment for a supervisor call back. Supervisor called back within about an hour and said the best she could do was send a technician out again. Bad news is I have to wait another 8 days as there is nothing available sooner. So now waiting for the sixth visit and possibly a 7th, because I am pretty sure the technician will not be carrying any parts.I have never been so disappointed by an appliance before. Should have carried out more research before I landed on a Samsung. My older dishwasher was doing a much better job and I wish I had kept it. Dont lose your money buying this appliance!! Samsung should either get their act together or stick to things they do well in such as phones and televisions. They should stay out of the appliance business for now!

This refrigerator has been nothing but a problem. After 3 years, we had to entirely replace the ice maker for over $200 in repairs (not covered by warranty). After 5 years, we had to repair the water dispenser. At exactly, 5 years and 4 months, the freezer died, 1 week later, the refrigerator died. It is out of warranty and Samsung does not provide any support. In our county, there is no longer a Samsung certified repair shop. No one will even touch it. Samsung finally referred us to A&E factory service, more than 40 miles away. They came out to do the diagnostic today (2 weeks after the freezer failed). The repairs for the broken evaporator are over $700. This was a $1,500 fridge purchased at Best Buy. Samsung has been very disappointing. They are not willing to cover anything or provide product support. Will not buy from them again.

I have Samsung side-by-side refrigerator model RS267LASH/XAA bought in March 4th, 2006. A few days ago, its fridge side stopped cooling and all the food inside went bad. Now the fan on the fridge side is noisy. The noise stops as soon as I open the fridge side door. There is no cooling on the fridge side. When I investigated this issue, it seems like this is a very common issue with Samsung refrigerators. This is a just a six years old refrigerator and I always clean it every month. Never in my life had I any problems with the refrigerators I used. I have found out that Samsung people know about this problem, but they wont fix it. I have to pay for it as the warranty is over.

We have had ongoing issues with this fridge since it was 13 months old. We are on the third icemaker and have had the latest motherboard fix installed on 6-12-20. We deal with a drippy ice and water dispenser, water under the crispers, and very inconsistent fridge and freezer temps. The fridge display will say 37° when the temp is actually anywhere between 38-58°. We have lost over $200 in food. I have personally endured an 8 hour online support chat, numerous phone calls, and emails to seek full compensation for this defective appliance so I may purchase a safe fridge. After posting an honest review on the Lowes website I was contacted by Samsung support and on 9-10-20 and Samsung emailed me paperwork offering me a refund of $2448.29 for my defective unsafe refrigerator. This refrigerator has been unsuccessfully repaired three times. We are using a mini fridge in our kitchen because the Samsungs inconsistent temps are not food safe. I completed the online refund paperwork & returned it electronically and mailed the actual paperwork via certified mail on 9-17. They contacted me 9-18 by text and have switched my refund amount to only $1530.18. This is not a warranty issue, this is a known design defective (since 2006) that Samsung continues to sell to unsuspecting customers. They appear to use unethical and fraudulent bait and switch tactics with customers.

If I knew then what I know now about the poor workmanship on this unit I would have not purchased a Samsung. Of all the refrigerators I have purchased over the years this one is the worst. Ice maker constantly freezing up, water leaks under the crispy drawer and freezes up to a point where we can’t open drawer. Need to remove drawer and chip away the ice to free the drawer temporary until the need to break away the ice again, about once every 3 to 4 weeks. Totally disappointed with my Samsung refrigerator and would not recommend any of my friends or family members to purchased one.

I bought a Samsung dishwasher at Home Depot last year. It was on sale, all stainless inside and seemed like a great deal. It worked a couple of times then quit... lights flashing and stinky water remaining in the basin. Home Depot responded quickly and sent someone out twice to repair it then finally sent me an email saying it was not fixable. They gave me a full refund. But, I am stubborn and was determined to fix it. Sometimes it worked thru a full cycle and sometimes it did not. I would have to push a couple of buttons to get it to drain afterward. After months of troubleshooting it finally works for me every time. The key is a balanced load. When you put a dinner plate on one side of the rack you must put the next dinner plate on the other side. Same with the top rack. Equal weight on both sides of the carriages is the trick. It sounds like a pain in the you-know-what but it works for me and I feel like a winner! :)

So much confusion between Samsung and Lowes. Anyway, the dishwasher makes a HORRIBLE noise during the 2nd cycle. I have it a little over 1 year. Its been making the sound for a few months. So frustrated and disappointed. I have to pay $100 plus to get a serviceman out here. I dont want to considering the dishwasher is still new to me.

Overall this Samsung Refrigerator isnt too bad. There could be an improvement in the shelving though. You have to maneuver your items under the shelves due to the metal bars underneath. It makes it frustrating to fit your items into the back. Also the ice machine needs some improvement as well. Sometimes it freezes up and wont make any ice cubes.

The worst stove/oven we ever owned. Purchased new fridge and stove, both Samsung and stainless steel. The range is NE595R0AB series. When water boils over, it stains. The oven has never worked well (convection or not), same batch of cookies but one tray might be done but 8 min later next is burnt or rare, hotter one side of even to other. Now the oven isnt working at all. In the short time since we bought these we are so unhappy, we cant believe how poor the quality is. Even the fridge, with the stainless steel. Just try to keep the stains from the fridge! It has stains from the cleaner. We hate them both and feel so ripped off. Wished we had read some of these prior.
