To Tim Baxter or anyone else that cares about Samsungs reputation and how their terrible customer service and falsely advertised products, dont settle well with the consumer. I am at my wits end with your company and its appalling customer service! For 4 months now Ive tried to get your company to take ownership for a refrigerator it sold us, that claimed to offer a Flex Zone with 4 temp settings, all the way down to -1 Celsius. Tim, we both went to High-school at took basic science classes, but the techs and people in your Office of the President all seem to have either not taken the class or failed it. My wife and I have had food spoiling in that drawer for months, because it will NOT freeze as it should given that 0 degrees Celsius is freezing, therefore anything colder that zero is at least capable of freezing. Well nothing freezes in that drawer. Ive had 3 service people come out, who all are being told the same thing from Samsung that I am being told, which is that the refrigerator works as it should. Tim, please explain to me how its working as it should when food does not freeze in a drawer that offers a -1 degree Celsius setting. Your office of the president, at 888-480-5675 and Loshanda at extension **, has ignored 7 messages I have left for her with the receptionist, and two voicemails. She literally has decided to blow me off. The last time she called me, before Thanksgiving, she told me that Mr. ** its not supposed to freeze, since -1 degrees Celsius is also 29 degrees Fahrenheit, therefore its 29 degrees above freezing... I was without a reply for a few minutes. How do you politely tell a person that they dont know that Celsius and Fahrenheit both measure temperatures, and that -1 Celsius and 29 Fahrenheit are the same below freezing temperature. After Loshandas obvious failure to care to call me back anymore, because she believes its working fine, I called and asked for a supervisor in your Office of the President. Ive been told twice there is no such thing, that I just have to leave a message for Loshanda to call me back. I’ve done that once a week for 7 weeks. I’m exhausted and utterly disgusted with the horrible service from your company. I dont know which is worse, that your techs believe -1 degrees Celsius is not supposed to freeze the food, or that your Office of the Preside could care less at this point, after my wife and I have lost hundreds of dollars in food that has gone bad, Ive wasted hours with techs coming out telling me the same thing, and more hours on the phone talking to your general Samsung support line that offers no help but to suggest I have yet another tech come out, who will waste all our time again. Tim, my wife and I own thousands of dollars in merchandise from you all, from phones, to BluRay players, to TVs etc. Is this how I should be treated? I want Loshanda at least reprimanded or at best fired, and I want and deeply hope for your help in resolving this matter. Your refrigerator does not do as it was sold to do, its that simple. And I need this fixed. Please Tim. Ive left voicemails for others in your Office of the President, they too have ignored me.

My Samsung microwave is less than one year old ,and I am seeing on this site that I better get a new one, because I have the SE message and nothing works to clear it. I have been on hold with Samsung, thinking this had a simple solution, three different times. So glad I checked this site so that I can stop wasting my time and money with Samsung. I will never again buy a Samsung product. Thank you all for posting.

My refrigerator has leaked water into my crisper drawers almost ever since I had it. Then about two weeks ago the refrigerator quit working, but the freezer still worked. I lost a lot of food in the fridge. I had Turner Appliance come out and they charged me $60 to tell my to defrost my fridge for two days and let the icing updefrost and melt. They also told me to contact you because it was an issue with Samsung. What do you plan to do about it?

Purchased a Samsung Gas Range from Home Depot on June 28, 2015. We had the range approximately 6 weeks and the oven in the range wouldnt heat above 150 degrees. We contacted Samsung and asked for a repair. Service technician came out and replaced the circuit board with what I believe was a refurbished board. Not long after this repair we contacted Home Depot and Samsung to let them know that the oven was still not heating correctly. The oven was not reaching the selected cooking temperature. We told Home Depot and the Samsung Customer service we wanted the oven replaced. Home Depot said we had to deal with Samsung. A service technician from Samsung came out again and told us that the oven is calibrated to reach the temperature that we select. In other words, we had to set the oven temp. to 375 for it to heat to 350?We again complained to Home Depot and Samsung and nothing was done to replace the oven, the oven purchased was an $800 oven. Now the oven will not heat past 150 degrees again. We contacted Samsung and they want us to pay for the repair. I explained that the oven never worked as it should from the beginning. Samsung said, Your warranty is up. I said the oven failed on warranty and never worked correctly from day one. We are experiencing the same problem over and over with the oven. I have contacted Samsung at least 4 times and I am getting a run-around. The case Number/Ref Number is **. It is obvious that the oven was a lemon and should have been replaced. If this oven has failed and never worked correctly this problem will continue. This oven should have been replaced. I have contacted Samsung and they will not offer any assistance. The stove is an inferior product. I wish I would have read the reviews for Samsung Gas Ranges. I would not have purchased.

The icemaker leaks water onto my floor. When the crushed ice is used some will stay in the tube and melt. This drops down and leaks water. The ice maker has been replaced twice and still does it. Also it freezes up and we have to call a repairman for that. It produced a loud noise at one time and we called a repairman to fix that. We have had 6 or 7 repair calls but since we purchased an extended warranty from Lowes we have not had to pay yet. We have had approximately 4 different companies to work on this product. We are extremely unhappy with the Samsung and do not recommend it to anyone.

I bought a Samsung RS25H511SR from Home Depot 5 Years ago and have had nothing but issues. We also purchased a 3 year warranty to cover the fridge. So 3 months first issue goes into demo mode. We tried everything that the internet said to. Made the call, guy came out and had to reset fridge computer. Six months fan went out, 18 months the freezer control board went out. So our warranty had a 3 time lemon rule. Cool new fridge right? No! Had to be same part. So we went on like this till warranty ran out and they would not renew warranty. So stuck with a fridge that has cost me thousands of dollars in food not to mention the $1500 I paid for it. Stay away from Samsung and Home Depot

Within one year of purchasing the dishwasher, it failed. It failed again a month after the repair. Its now failed for the third time within 8 months of the second repair. Of course, now its out of its one year warranty. So, the same issue that has obviously never been properly repaired will cost me a minimum of $200 in Samsung labor to repair again! I will not spend good money after bad and repair it again. Its not even 2 years old!!! That $$ will go a long way in purchasing a new dishwasher without the Samsung name on it.

Hi I am from chennai, India. I bought Samsung side by side fridge from Samsung store here. The model is RH77J90407H. From day one I have been facing issues and now I have to deal it legally. Please do not buy from Samsung stores. Visit the store for the features and benefits of various products, but buy from other Samsung dealers who also deal many brands. Samsung store people are hopeless after sales. Dealers other than Samsung stores put customer satisfaction first and help you in getting the refund or replacement. Within one year Samsung technicians have changed water dispenser unit, compressor, PCB board and main mother board in my fridge. Beauty is my noise problem is not solved but is more now. As a bonus four of fridge trays have broken during the problem solving process by technicians.

This is by far the worst investment I’ve ever made. The ice maker constantly freezes over, the temp in the fridge is higher than it states on the screen, and it leaked all the time. Samsung french door RFG298 - I have the same problems and even more. Fridge will be 4 years old next month. It stopped working entirely except for 2 flashing LED lights at water dispenser. No other lights work, no compressor, no NOTHING. The bottom ice maker broke within the first couple of months. Just spent $70 to replace door storage bins and more are cracked. There are stains in between the glass shelves and rubber I cant get out, including stains on the flap of the deli drawer in between the plastic that cant be reached. Had an AHA moment when I read another review saying their fridge had dings all over it as our fridge also has dings I cant imagine why and how that happened. SAMSUNG is not responding to my request for technical help or a technician which I cant find in my areas. Paid $2,500 and purchased at Lowe’s... Its not even 4 years old and USELESS.

Adding one more complaint to the 600 plus list of dissatisfied individuals
Adding one more complaint to the 600 plus list of dissatisfied individuals reports seems pointless but I want to share my experience and my frustration to hopefully shake things up, tell the manufacturers that allowing these products to remain on the market, knowing that they are failing and then telling people who have spent anywhere from $500 to over $1000 that they are now stuck with a useless appliance because the 1-year warranty is up is unacceptable. If this doesnt eventually end up as a class action lawsuit which is my next step, heres hoping I can at least deter someone who is considering buying one of these piles of junk to look elsewhere. I am a first time homeowner and was very excited about all the updated appliances that were coming with my kitchen. During the home inspection, immediately a foul odor couldnt be missed when opening the dishwasher (DW80F600) but after letting it run a full cycle it subsided and we chalked it up to probably being caused by sitting water and the machine not having been run for awhile. BIG MISTAKE. First cycle I did with dishes, the tablet was half-dissolved, dishes were soaking wet, murky and dirtier than they were when they went in with an assaultive sour odor to follow when it actually stopped running about 4 hours later. After some troubleshooting with bleach, liquid dishwasher detergent, rinse aid and running hot water before starting the machine with no changes it was time to contact the home warranty company that came with the house. They happily sent out a technician costing me a $100 deductible. He diagnosed that the circuit board was the problem and that it was causing it to stay in rinse mode. Then when I told him about the odor his response was that most of the newer dishwashers have that smell. This did not sit well with me but figured, maybe with the new circuit board the smell and other issues would go away. Part arrived, he came and installed it. Problem NOT solved with no improvements. Called again, asked for a different company to be sent out (and by the way good luck trying to find technicians who work on Samsung products, definitely a huge red flag). This visit, he said that the problem is the entire pump and needs to be replaced. So this is where I am at now and pretty confident that this dishwasher is going to be an ongoing problem, needing repairs constantly with mediocre improvements until my warranty is up leaving me stuck with paying for all technical support and parts out of pocket. And just a quick side note: I did call Samsung about the odor and the condition that the dishes were coming out in. The response I got from the representative was nothing less than infuriating but went like this: she was quick to tell me that the warranty was up and that unfortunately there was nothing they could do. Regarding the odor, she simply said that this was the first shes heard of this problem. And to wrap it all up she proceeded to tell me the proper way to load a dishwasher, that it is helpful to pre-clean the dishes before loading and to leave the door cracked to assist with the drying. Thank you Samsung. This whole ordeal has struck a very bad chord with me and anyone interested or knowledgeable about making moves towards class action please contact me.

We purchased our French door refrigerator in 2009. Since the warranty lapsed after the first year, we have had to have it repaired 2 times each time costing close to $300 and are now in need of repairs again! Same problem, the back freezes up and the evaporator fan breaks. It is almost impossible to find a repairman who wants to work on them for two reasons: you cannot get the parts (each time they have to be ordered from Korea) and they take days to thaw out before you can even open them to do the repair! I have been in contact with the company only to be told there wasnt anything they could do. Samsung has a no refund no return policy and after the year they will do nothing unless you purchase their extended warranty. Every repairman has told me they should not even be sold! And to never buy kitchen appliances from Samsung or LG! I called Samsung today, spent over an hour on hold and was told they will not back their product... I am so disappointed in this purchase!

We bought the expensive Samsung Range Model #: NE59J3420SS when we upgraded our appliances. BIG mistake! From the start, the door didnt close tightly which makes the oven take forever to heat up and things dont cook correctly. The light inside the oven goes on and off intermittently, then the right front burner stopped working and then the left front burner stopped working (the only 2 large burners)! When I finally had had enough and called Samsung, they would do nothing because it had been over a year! There is OBVIOUSLY a defect with this model! We also bought a Samsung refrigerator and have had many problems with it as well. NEVER BUY A SAMSUNG APPLIANCE!

I bought an RF266 from Lowes in the fall of 2007. Unfortunately, I did not buy the extended warranty. Just after the warranty period ended, the icemaker broke. The ice bin is straight across the back, so when the ice is dropping and you pull the drawer out, it breaks the sensor bar. That has been corrected in newer models. Since that happened, we have not had an icemaker for the first time in over 25 years. I called and emailed customer service and never had a response. Next thing that happened was one of the shelves’ front edge cracked. Then we noticed the egg container and butter door had cracked also. This past summer saw the temperature fluctuating from 48°F down to 26°F freezing everything in the fridge. After talking to a couple of different techs, they recommended putting a good thermometer inside and manually changing the temp. All of the techs said that we were looking at $600-$900 to repair this thing and waiting several weeks to have the parts shipped in and maybe not correcting the problem. Yesterday, the final straw broke when one of the pins holding the deli drawer door broke. As soon as I have some calves to sell this spring, I will buy something that you can actually get parts for without having to wait for them to come from Korea. My wife asked me what I was going to do with the Samsung when I replace it and I told her it was going with all of my other junk steel and sold as scrap or maybe keeping it and storing farm chemicals in it. There is no way I would pawn this piece of work on anyone. Anyone considering Samsung appliances needs to rethink before buying. I have a 15-yr old Whirlpool in the shop that is still getting it on. I wish I had never taken it to the shop but kept it at the house. We just wanted to get the newer style and increase the cubic feet.

I will NEVER buy another Samsung product after the experiences I have had with this refrigerator model #RFG298HDBP. Water from the door dispenser would drip enough to fill up the reservoir and it had to be constantly maintained. While during the warranty period, the lower icemaker never worked properly or regularly. Samsung sent out a repairman who replaced the icemaker at no charge (under warranty). The replacement was of equal poor quality as it operated for a month or so before problems started. Water would overfill and spill into the ice bin... Finally, we decided to shut off the lower icemaker. The warranty had expired and I was not going to pay for a service call because I was beginning to see more problems on the horizon. The upper icemaker would produce ice at a much slower pace, but we survived. Then the water leaking into the meat/cheese drawer began. Puddles of clean water that you could splash in the drawer... I started keeping a hand towel at the back to absorb the water and every few days I would replace the water soaked towel with a dry one. Sometimes the wet towel is frozen stiff. Then, a layer of ice was developing under the meat drawer! Water was dripping under it and freezing up. If the layer built up enough over a weeks time, you would have difficulty sliding the drawer in and out and closing the drawer. As a new maintenance routine I take contents from the drawer, pull the drawer completely out of the refrigerator, scrape out the ice on the bottom of the refrigerator cabinet, then put the drawer back in. Can you believe this? Many of my fresh vegetables are freezing (ruining) in the refrigerated section... not in the drawers but sitting on the shelf. At least once a week I have to go through the de-icing routine, maybe more often depending on the ice build up. As of yesterday, the door dispenser of ice and water has stopped operating. Nothing comes out of the dispenser. Zero.Like everyone else on ConsumerAffairs, I called Samsung who referred me to their service center. I do not care to put anymore money into this lousy lemon. I would feel so guilty to sell this second hand to anyone else! But I dont want it anymore! I have never, never, never had such a terrible appliance. When we spent several thousand dollars to buy this Samsung refrigerator, I had waited a long time to buy something that would last a while and be maintenance free. This has been anything but what I had hoped for. Wheres some help from our government to act upon the company that is stealing from consumers???

I purchased a Refrigerator for over $3000.00, the entire CHEF collection for over $7000.00 thinking I was buying high quality appliances. Model #: RF261BEAEBC/AA (French Door, Freezer on Bottom, NO ice or water dispensers in the door). I have had to call Samsung services and repair four (4) times for my Samsung Refrigerator in the first thirteen (13) months of operation. Every call has been about the ice maker. I escalated this recurring issue to the executive review board (or whatever they call it) stating that I must have a defective refrigerator (or least a defective ice maker). I said they need to address this issue by replacing the whole refrigerator or issue a recall of some parts or something because this is just not acceptable. The response I got back from Samsung is that this is not cause for any special consideration and that normal repair and service should continue. Their response is what really bothers me. I mean I fully understand that if you make thousands of appliances (or cars or whatever), there will be a couple that will be defective. I have no problem with that - just own up to it and resolve the issue for good. I also understand that no matter how much you test sometimes things can be missed. I have had cars recalled for certain issues, you take your car to the dealer, they resolve the issue (no cost to you) and all is good. I mean it is very weird for them to think that four (4) service requests in first thirteen (13) months of operation is not cause for alarm or at least a closer inspection.I actually talked to the last repairman that came out to fix the problem. He said that he sees a lot of repairs on certain models of Samsung Refrigerators that was/is related to frozen water line for the ice makers. So much so that Samsung did a recall and replaced the heating element (or whatever) to keep ice from forming in water line to the ice maker. He said it was a different model than mine and hence no recall for my specific model number.I suspect that this is the issue for me as well, as water is not making it to the ice tray. I could be wrong though and freely admit something else could be the issue. With this type of customer service, it will make me seriously consider any Samsung products in the future. I am not upset so much with an appliance that has issues. Hey, I dont like it and wish otherwise, but the stick-my-head-in-the-sand-and-hope-this-goes-away attitude from Samsung is really bothersome.

I just became aware of the class action lawsuit related to the faulty ice maker unit in my refrigerator. My model isnt explicitly listed, however it does state the list isnt limited to those units. I purchased from Lowes 01/07/2017 for $1805.01. I purchased (thankfully) the extended warranty as well. We dealt with the noise forever; weve had 4 service calls thus far for complete inoperability. Most recently phoned 6/4/21. First avail 6/18; ordered parts; returned 6/25 to complete. Never worked, and is now displaying error codes. Next avail 7/5 to fix. I realize I am fortunate to have the extended warranty but it runs out in 6 months; then Im stuck with a faulty fridge. I am hoping Samsung will do the right thing and pay out for those of us dealing with this problem.

We purchased a Samsung Side by Side Refrigerator from Home Depot in May 2014 for $3,100.00 and paid an additional fee for a (4) four-year extended warranty from Home Depot. Samsung only offers a (1) one-year manufacturers warranty. Our first repair service call was with SAMSUNG on June 2014 for a defective ice maker that needed replacement and was subsequently replaced. Our next service call was December 2014, due to a failed ice maker AGAIN. Our third repair service call was in December 2015, the ice maker wasnt making ice consistently and it was also making CRUSHED ICE in the CUBE MODE, and water DRIPS was constantly falling from the ice bin down into the cup dispenser and rolling down the front of the stainless steel refrigerator constantly staining it. The ice maker also began a HUMMING NOISE. The repair service rep said the ice blades in the ice bin were weak and causing the CRUSHED ICE. He said this was a Samsung DESIGN FLAW that cant be fixed. WE paid good money for this SAMSUNG product and all we got was repeated problems and customer service delays. Now Home Depot refuses to honor their (4) four-year EXTENDED WARRANTY. We are demanding replacement of this SAMSUNG refrigerator for another MORE RELIABLE UNIT. If this is the so-called quality of a Top-of-the-Line SAMSUNG refrigerator, WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT NO ONE BUY A SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR.

We bought a new Samsung refrigerator at the end of 2014. Less than six months after purchasing the ice maker started leaking etc. The same problem everyone else is complaining about. Had it fixed several times and finally gave up. So we bought an expensive refrigerator and had to buy ice 90 percent of the last four years.

The rubber gaskets are coming apart as well....This refrigerator cost was over $2000.00. Called customer service and they said TOO BAD out of warranty ....Model # RF267AEBP. We have had nothing but issues with this refrigerator. Ice buildup on the back of the inside of the refrigerator. It gets so bad it hits the fan and the refrigerator gets warm. Also there is ice buildup on the floor of the freezer. The door won’t close properly because of the buildup and my husband has to defrost it every few months. The noise from the buildup is loud. Plus it leaks onto the floor which has ruined my laminate around it. The refrigerator wasn’t inexpensive so we deal with it but we will never purchase another Samsung appliance. Would love a refund but that’s not going to happen.

My Samsung refrigerator was ordered from Home Depot and scheduled for delivery on 12/2/2013 by 11am. At noon on 12/2/2013, I called Samsung at 855-681-6917 to find out what the delay was. I was told by Samsung that the delivery date had been moved to 12/3/2013 and given no reason for the delay. Later, I received the automated call telling me my new delivery time on 12/3/2013. At 9:30am on 12/3/2013, a representative named Trey from Samsung told me that my unit was damaged and would not be delivered. He would get back with me within 48 hours to let me know my new delivery date. Well, no one called so I called them three days later to find out the status of my delivery. They said it would be 3/4/2014 before I could get my new fridge. Sorry guys, but no one keeps my money for 3 months with no performance. I will cancel my order on 12/9/2013. Also note that when I place the fridge in my shopping cart on the Home Depot site, it shows an estimated delivery date in January. Whats wrong with this picture??? Its a big fat lie. Samsung has a problem delivering and I dont know why. I cant imagine what service would be like after the sale. Im done with Samsung appliances.

We purchased a Samsung side-by-side two years ago and the upper ice-maker started freezing up so we called Lowes for repair. The repairman came out and said it has been a continuing issue with this refrigerator so he attempted a fix because that was all he was allowed to do. We then had to call and request a second time and he said he would have to order parts (that would take a long time to get because of so many being broken). We have now been waiting a over a month with our refrigerator pulled out because the fans can make horrible noises that we cannot endure so we unplug it for a period of time. The service by Samsung is horrible and we could only give a negative response to anyone who wants this refrigerator.

The rollers on top tray of dishwasher fell off. When I say junk its harsh but that is exactly what it is. Lowes sent another fridge and its making noises. On top of their products being junk they had a promotion going on at the time I bought the appliance which I purchased all four at once. Thirty-two hundred dollars worth to mail in recipes and we would receive a free 32 inch Samsung tv. I received a letter back stating that we did not meet the criteria to receive the television. Wow not surprised. I contacted Lowes for their help and reached dead end after dead end. I can truly say this, Their appliances are junk and I will never buy any of their products.

Samsung has very poor customer service, you purchase the product expecting the product to last a while, however, after having it for only 4 months, there are problems. I am not happy with the after purchase customer care, they are not interested in resolving your issues. I was a big fan of Samsung simply because Ive always had numerous Samsung phones, after this issue, I cancelled my phone and purchased an iPhone. I purchased a French door refrigerator RSG309 that has a computerized display, which was my first mistake. I thought, because it was Samsung, it would be okay, I was sadly mistaken. After contacting the customer service center so many times and remaining on hold, being transferred numerous times, having to repeat myself over and over again like a broken record, I gave up. The display does not work, I have to unplug the refrigerator constantly to reboot it so the dispenser can operate properly. This is the worst customer service ever.I am frustrated, I will never purchase a Samsung product again. I definitely plan to seek legal advice because the product is practically new, I purchased an extended warranty and still cant get assistance.

Within 6 months our ice maker began freezing up, then within a year quit working altogether. Samsung couldnt find anyone in the area to fix it and said they would contact us when they did. Never heard back. Within 18 months it started making horrible noises. Found out frost was building up in the back and we would have to defrost, otherwise the fan would burn out. So every six months we did defrosting of our frost free fridge. Now 6 years in it has died and the repair shops said it wasnt worth fixing. I built a new house a little over two years ago. Between the kitchen and laundry appliances, I spent around $6500. Before the one-year warranty was up, the ice maker in the fridge crapped out. I had to get Best Buy to replace the unit as the Samsung repair people didnt want to travel out to where Im located (only about 35 miles). Then after the warranties expired, the washer has an issue - not too bad - a wire fell off the motor. Cost me $159. Now the dishwasher pump burn up - $440 to fix this. Repair guy told me that the pods I have been using, the plastic shell pieces apparently do not melt and pieces collect in a screen that the water goes through that cools the pump. The screen is apparently fine than most units. Sound like a design flaw. After buying all these appliances and having three issues already, one would think the manufacturer would stand behind their products. Nope, no help at all. No more Samsung products for me.

We bought a DD68-00143A_MES about 6 months ago. Since day one we noticed that it simply did not work as well as our old one (was not a Samsung) we had for over 10 years. At first I thought we were just not loading the dishes correctly because they were not clean. So for several weeks we tried to move dishes all over the place and nothing helped. Then we thought maybe it was the dishwasher detergent (even though we had used it for years with no problems, I thought maybe they changed the formula without us knowing it) so we tried all kinds of detergents and nothing helped! So as many of you that have complaints about the washer being the worst ever, I tend to agree. Other things we have noticed is there is this smell that comes from it. At first I thought it was our hard water (we are on rural water) but then I read some other peoples comments and see its not only us that noticed it. We have also noticed that many dishes are stained with something and we cannot remove the stain no matter how we try! Another thing is that I do not think the person that designed (its a laugh to even think someone would really use the word designed) the racks to hold the dishes has ever washed a dish in their life! NOTHING FITS! Its a chore to try and find places to put the dishes to wash them. One last thing. As like most of you we have come to the same conclusion that we will never buy Samsung again! I am however a little different than most of you. I own a lot of rental properties, and I bet you can guess the type of dishwasher that will NEVER BE PUT IN MY HOUSE OR MY RENTAL PROPERTIES! EVER!

I bought dishwasher as well as refrigerator and electric range in 2013. In 2014 the dishwasher started to have problems (the soap compartment wouldn’t open), so the technician came and replaced the whole dishwasher under the warranty. In 2015 the dishwasher started to malfunction again, the same problem. Another technician came in and replaced part under the warranty again. In 2019 the same problem occurred again. This time the first technician couldn’t replicate the problem. The second technician came in, and he said that it’s most likely intermittent problem, and it’s possible that 3 different parts should be replaced, and since the warranty run out, he doesn’t recommend spend the money on the unknown. I really appreciate this concept. When I called Samsung again, they said that the main circuit board under the warranty since it was replaced in 2015. But when I tried to call the company who is fixing the dishwasher, they explained to me that Samsung doesn’t extend the warranty on the replaced parts and everything goes to the original date of purchasing or replacement of the machine. I had a dishwasher for over 20 years in Massachusetts (not Samsung), never had a problem. Never will buy Samsung products again and wouldn’t recommend it to anybody. On top of the bad product, bad manufacturing warranty too.

We bought a Samsung RF26J7500SR 3 door refrig eleven months ago. WHAT A POS. The refrig compartment fan system keeps freezing up (repairman said its an inherent design error! ), preventing it from staying cold. We threw out everything inside on Labor day as all the food spoiled waiting the 12 days for the repairman. Then I was told we had to reschedule since the refrig needed to be unplugged for 48 hours for all the internal ice covering the fan blades to melt. On the return visit days later parts were replaced and a factory anti-freezing kit installed. Now, two months later, the fridge is full of Thanksgiving leftovers and its warm inside again, seems like the same problem. Samsung customer service can only confirm its broken, gave me the number of a local repair guy that will fix it under warranty. I assume the repairman will give me an appointment 12 days from when they call me back, which was how long it took for them to come to the house for the first repair!!! Looks like we will throw out everything again. What a joke. I will have to take another vacation day to wait for the repairman. Anyone who buys a Samsung refrigerator needs their head examined!!! I will never ever buy another Samsung appliance of any kind.

We purchased a 20 c.f. French door, bottom freezer, Samsung Model RF217ACWP
We purchased a 20 c.f. French door, bottom freezer, Samsung Model RF217ACWP refrigerator on August 11, 2013. It was delivered to us on August 14, 2013. We are not happy with the continuous obnoxious noises this refrigerator makes - a very high pitched noise, a rattling noise that gets progressively louder, and a noise like water running. It is constant noise any time this refrigerator cycles through whatever the cycle is at the time. The drawers in the freezer compartment are iced over all the time and have been since day one. This does not seem normal. On Oct. 11, 2013 we went to the Sears store where we purchased this refrigerator to discuss returning it. The salesman told us no problem since the refrigerator was so new but he had to call Customer Solutions to get it scheduled for pick up.Customer Solutions informed us that since it had been more than 30 days since the purchase, we would have to pay a 15% restocking fee unless we have a service technician look at the refrigerator, that this would be the way to avoid the restock fee. We have no intention of keeping this refrigerator and no interest in exchanging it for the same Samsung product. We wish to return it for a refund so that we can purchase a US made.It appears that Sears has recently (October 06, 2013) changed their return policy on appliances. At the time we purchased we were told that we had 60 days to return. On October 11, 2013 the salesman at Sears was very surprised to hear that Customer Solutions was requiring us to have a service technician look at this refrigerator to avoid a 15% re-stock fee. Seems that Sears can change their return policy and make it retroactive. We have read the many complaints concerning Samsung refrigerators, Sears, etc. We would be interested in joining a class action lawsuit against Samsung, Sears and anyone else selling this inferior product.

I purchased a Samsung about 2 years ago. The first year I have several issues with this Refrigerator, but was able to get help on Samsungs helpline. As of today my Samsung-RS265TDP started acting up so again I contacted support, I was having problems with my Refrigerator side not cooling down. Error code, # 5-E & 22-E. We spent several hours trying to reset the system as they guided me through the manual. Next day tried to get more help on these issues, but all I ended up with was about 5 long hours of being shuffled around the world while speaking to people who could hardly understand. I finally got to a representative in SC, who thought he could resolve my problems. But again I was transferred to someone else who had no clue, only that they wanted to sell me a $387.00 one time warranty contract. After doing a little research on this machine, I have found several Class action lawsuits are going on. I contacted a local company and did get my problem resolve for a little less money. The Tech I had advised me as to Samsung has sent out bulletins on this and similar Machines. It is just so sad when you spend almost $1800 on a item and find out 2 years later that Samsung was and is aware of these conditions and still manufacturing these refrigerators. It is kinda funny when you purchase an item at first, how salespeople are very helpful. But when you have some problems they are no place to be found. Personally I thought Samsung was a quality product, but after this ordeal I would not or advise anyone to purchase any of Samsungs Refrigerators. Anyone who has had same issues should do some research online, maybe the big Samsung would try to help people out with all these knowingly faulty problems.

Purchased a French door, lower freezer Samsung fridge from Lowes in 2009. I have a 25 year old Jenaire fridge in the garage that I have never spent a dime on for repairs. I had had multiple problems with the Samsung fridge, including having to replace the ice maker, some other parts that caused the fridge to stop cooling (about $400.00). The ice maker has always leaked water the first time it is used, causing stains down the front of the door & pooling on top of the freezer door. Now my newest problem is that the door that has the ice maker is rusting through, particularly around the ice maker but also at the bottom. My fear is that the insulation in the door is covered In mold.

Shipping company couldnt deliver, rescheduled 4 times. In the end they said.. they lost a fridge and dont know where it is and when is going to be delivered. Called Samsung - basically Samsung said: We dont care if you cancel order. I cancel my order and I will never buy Samsung again... not a fridge... not a tv... and wont recommend Samsung to any of my friend/Family. Buy something else, NOT SAMSUNG. Order # **

Purchased the Samsung Waterwall Dishwasher in June 2014. Brand new technology - $900 worth! Pffff!! Within 6 months, had to have a repairman out because of an error saying there was a problem with an O ring in the water pump. Within 12 months, they were out again for the same issue - TWICE! Finally replaced it on their 3rd trip. 12 months after that (2 days ago) got the 7E error, telling me the waterwall was being blocked and couldnt move. Nothing blocking the waterwall and it is just stuck. Repairman coming AGAIN tomorrow to check. My extended warranty through Lowes is up in June 2019. I WILL be buying yet another brand dishwasher when that happens. I will NEVER buy another Samsung appliance. They should stick to phones only!

I scrolled down and read the reviews until the Dec. 28, 2010 entry where I found someone who had the same dishwasher as I have: DMR57. I loaded my dishwasher last night, put in the soap and shut the door to start it. When I touched the start button, it was dead. The whole touch panel was dead. Thinking somehow a breaker had blown, I checked on that and it had not. The machine was just dead. My husband is an electrician, but he didnt even get a chance to check the electrical. He shut the door and something inside, the latch broke. Now the door doesnt latch. We bought this unit in September 2008. After having it for two weeks back then, we called the service department explaining how touchy the control panel was. If you just skimmed the panel, you could turn it on or off. The instrument was replaced but it is still extremely sensitive. We began to put the touch panel in the child lock mode when in use and when not in use. By doing so protected the touch panel; we couldnt turn it on or off. It is awful when the dishwasher is on and in mid-wash cycle and you accidentally touch or skim the panel and the whole machine is turned off. This dishwasher does not restart from where the cycle was shut off. You have to restart the wash cycle from the beginning. Weve decided to replace the dishwasher with another brand instead of fixing this one. Dishwashers should last some 10-15 years. We will not be buying a Samsung. I must say that we have a Samsung refrigerator that I just love! I may jinx myself, but lets hope not.

I hate my DMT800 Samsung dishwasher. It does not heat the water nor clean the dishes well. It is about 3 years old and its torn up. There are only certain repair companies that are allowed by Samsung to repair their appliances and some will not repair the appliance if its under warranty. The company I call charges $89.95 for a service call and if they can repair it, they will waiver the service charge. I think that this means it will be expensive to repair it. Im going to buy a new one and it definitely wont be a SAMSUNG.

We purchased a counter depth refrigerator back on 2012. We have had nothing but problems with the ice maker and switch to dispense ice since we had it. Not only did we spend a lot for this refrigerator, we have continued to have to sink money into it to keep it working. Then we bought the $500 over the range microwave. Bad move!!! After having for one year, the number buttons on the front became hard to work. Now we have 2 numbers that wont work at all. But of course they are telling me that they dont cover this under the warranty. What good it the microwave if you cannot program in the time to cook??We also bought the induction range. I hope this holds up. We will never ever buy from Samsung again and will also advise all family and friends of our bad experience. My sister also had same issues with her Samsung refrigerator. Samsung might make good TVs but their kitchen appliances are a piece of junk and they do not care how much you spend on them, they will not cover repairing a function like the number buttons! Unacceptable!!

I have a house full of company and Samsung service man cant be at my home for 6 more days. Im so mad I can see stars and the customer service WHICH was the worst. Months of frustration with a ridiculous repair process. We purchased a Samsung electric range as part of a package of appliances from Lowes for our home in Florida in July of 2016. We soon learned that the temperature in the oven was not being maintained properly. We found out that Lowes would not replace and that we needed to go through Samsung for repairs. We have now have had repair people visit 7 times and have had all electrical components replaced three times. Meantime we do not have an oven that works and have wasted all that time dealing with repair people and service technicians at Samsung that do not have a clue. Hundreds of reviews have been written regarding the same issue with these ovens. I am ready to take part in a class action suit/massive recall effort to force the miserably incompetent people at Samsung (think Galaxy Seven Smart Phone) to take appropriate action. In related items we separately purchased a Samsung TV that randomly failed after just two weeks while no one was in the room. Thankfully, Best Buy (unlike Lowes) took a stand and replaced the unit free of charge. Lastly, a craftsman was working at our house and overheard a conversation that I was having with Samsung one day. He told me that he had been a Samsung repair person for four years and finally quit his position because the processes and information that Samsung uses were so bad he was embarrassed. Im not sure if Dr. Oh-Hyun Kwon is still the CEO of Samsung, but he should be the most embarrassed of anyone. Under his leadership a once honored company is now an incompetent laughing stock. What a horrible legacy!

We purchased the Samsung model DMT 300 RFS dishwasher from Lowes. We are extremely unhappy with the performance. First, it has broken over a dozen glasses, a problem we have never had with other dishwashers. Also, after every load, we are rewashing some dishes by hand due to poor cleaning. We have tried different rinse agents and detergents and more extensive pre-cleaning but nothing helps. But the straw that broke the back was a problem four days out of warranty that we had to pay to get fixed. The staff on the help line was rude at best but far better than the supervisor I spoke with. I will not buy another Samsung product after the way she treated me. My advice is if you buy Samsung, buy the extended warranty - youll need it!

This refrigerator is truly junk and is not inexpensive. I have had it four years and as I type this it is not working. Tech suppose to come Tuesday the 14th of August. Purchased Samsung french door RF268ABWP refrigerator from Lowes at the end of 2013 and had problems from the start. I had to return refrigerator and replaced with the same model. I had to have a technician out within months because sliding drawer wouldnt close correctly and a problem with the door closing. Every year since Ive had to have the ice maker replaced. Keep in mind I have dual ice makers. Only one works at any given time. Other. In 4 years I needed 4 new ice makers. Luckily I had purchased Lowes extended warranty. Thats a problem in itself as youll wait weeks for service and even longer for parts. I had them come out for one service call for the broken ice maker and the technician ordered a new part and I was told to wait for the part. Took almost a month with me calling every week to finally get the part and told they ordered the wrong part. Waited months for a replacement part which never came. I called again months later only to find out my extended warranty is expired.I spent over 2500.00 for a piece of junk. No one should is expected to replace an ice maker ever year. I called Samsung after finding out my last ice maker installed had a year warranty which is still valid. I wanted them to replace my ice maker for free. They stated I would have to pay $175.00 for a service call for the tech to verify my ice maker was broke and then installation cost. I asked for them to just send me the replacement and I would have installed myself. No such luck. So my ice maker has a warranty which is useless unless Samsung gets paid for bogus charges. Seems this is a very problematic model from all the complaints listed. There should be a recall or class action lawsuit.

We purchased a side by side Samsung refrigerator and it started freezing on the bottom half of the refrigerator and in the back. I called and they replaced the heater on the refrigerator side. Six months later, same thing happened. They replaced it again and guess what, less than 6 months later, same thing. It cannot be replaced anymore because the tubing has been cut so many times they can’t fix it. So, I cannot put anything in the bottom because it freezes. I have pulled the drawers out and I keep everything in an old Kenmore refrigerator out in the garage. I can only keep certain things in the Samsung. I will never buy another Samsung product. We can’t afford to go buy another refrigerator. I tell everyone not to buy a Samsung refrigerator. Something should be done because too many people are having problems with their product.

We installed model # ME179KFETSR/AA in our remodeled kitchen in November of 2013. In February of 2014, 3 months later, the Microwave went bonkers (as noted in other complaints) and the control had to be replaced. It was under warranty, so there was no charge, just inconvenience. The repairman told me I should run the fan when cooking ANYTHING on my stove, even warming up canned vegetables. I took his advice and used the fan even though it is very loud. Unfortunately, this did not prevent the need for ANOTHER service call for the same problem in April of 2014. The problem has reoccurred for the third time and the microwave is now out of warranty. Even though the micro is less than a year and a half old, Samsung is only willing to give me the part at no charge, which will probably only cost them $30.00. Wow, what exceptional service. They MUST know the micro has a design flaw. The repair has not yet been performed, so Im not sure how much this is going to cost me, besides my loyalty to Samsung.

I am highly frustrated generally over the above company name products. Now heres why: I am a big fan of the Samsung brand, my wife is also too. 99% of all our electronics products are all Samsung products. From cell phones to TVs, tablet, microwave etc, etc. You name it. Here are some CAUSES: I have 4 TVs, in my home I bought, all Samsung products. First time my wife TV went bad, you can hear the audio from the TV but no picture. I called Samsung customer service to explain my situation. On several occasions, I got hung up on. I tried and kept fighting till I finally got someone to talk to about the problem. My sorryful appeal was heard and the problem was resolved. Couple of month later again, Im having the same problem with another TV. Called Samsung, again, it was another fight. Finally, I was told it was a software issue and I needed to buy flash drive and download the new version. I insisted not to spend money over some so-called software so they downloaded the new version and mail it out to me. I then uploaded it to the TV but did not solve the problem either. To date, I still have the TV and planning to trash it. I also have a 10.1 Samsung galaxy 4, that is giving me problems. I took it back to Best Buy, and they kept it for two weeks fixing it. To date, I still have the tablet with the same problem. Now, its my microwave. WHAT IS WRONG WITH SAMSUNGS MODERN DAYS PRODUCT? They will go OFF on you right after their warranties. Im frustrated big time over Samsung modern day products.

Received call today from Samsung requesting receipt. I was then told that Samsung will only be refunding me for the purchase price prorated from the time of purchase. I have a Samsung dishwasher and refrigerator. We bought them at the same time, thinking Samsung is a good name. Wrong! Our dishwasher has never worked right since the first day we got it. It would never dry the dishes. Now, our refrigerator is broken. I am fairly handy, so I was able to fix it myself. However, I needed to know the correct part number to order for my french door. So I called customer service only to be told that they were not allowed to give part numbers out over the telephone. They would ship it to me at a cost that was double what I could get it for on Amazon. They then directed me to their website, where I could look the part number up myself. I have read all of these current complaints and issues with Samsung Refrigerators, I feel bad for all of these consumers. There is something you can do to get somewhat reimbursed. I can say I purchased the 3 year warranty and was glad. After 15 months the Refrigerator froze and stopped the cooling fan. Took 11 days to get parts to have it repaired. Then after the first repair a second incident occurred when the freezing happened under the meat department drawer a week after it was fixed. Had to have a tech come out a second time. Finally they sent me a refund for the purchase price of the refrigerator. That was Asurion did, they were the warranty plan from the Home Depot. If you have a food loss issue you are eligible for up to $300 refund for each occurrence. This did happen twice. It froze and wasted my wifes Insulin 2 times. I was not reimbursed the full amount but I received 2 checks for $300 a piece after filling out the one page application for Food Loss and Medication reimbursement and sending in the repair receipt. Also I did file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau against the Home Depot and Home Depot came through and sent me a $500 gift card for the difference for the loss of the medication and the cost of me buying another refrigerator while I was waiting on this one to be repaired.I also filed a complaint with the BBB against Samsung and twice someone from the Office of the President from Samsung called me and said there was nothing that could be done. So whatever, they need a national recall on their products especially the black stainless refrigerators. So with a little perseverance you can get some remedy out of this bad situation. The Better Business Bureau complaint against the Home Depot really helped and the Home Depot Asurion extended warranty plan really helped also. Complaining to Samsung was useless but now the Complaint is in there and the more in there hopefully will help someone else not make this bad decision of a Samsung Refrigerator.

RF266AEPN/XAA - Purchased 8-2012. Pbm began July 2014. The fan made a loud racket. Sears was great. Repairman said it was due to fan hitting against ice built up on drain tubes caused by putting hot food in refrig (steam turned to ice). Food safety requires hot foods must be refrigerated! I now have to defrost my refrig & freezer for 2 days to install a $200 kit to prevent this from happening again... It should have never happened in the first place. What an inconvenience. While Samsung denies having a problem, they conveniently have a repair kit specifically designed for the Non Problem. It is a beautiful and functional refrigerator but I am disgusted with Samsung. If make a mistake, admit it, fix it and people will respect you. Samsung responsibility is to reimburse everyone for the kit and the cost of installation.

Overall, my whole family is significantly disappointed. We bought both a fridge and an oven/stove from Samsung, and both of them started to malfunction before we were even done paying them off. The knobs on the stovetop are poorly engineered and will easily turn if something accidentally knocks into them (like a pot handle or your arm)--this has led to stovetops accidentally turning on and burning our dinner multiple times. The lower right stovetop also gets unusually hot and the lower left stovetop works unusually slow, even when the knobs are turned to the same setting--this had led to food burning on the lower right stove even when its on low and left unsupervised for just a couple minutes. Dont even get me started on the fridge that has its flimsy door-shelves breaking off (I realize thats a review for another time).

We bought a Samsung refrigerator from Lowes when we moved in March this year. Three weeks ago, the freezer compartment broke down. Samsung’s customer service said that they would send someone to repair it. Two days later, the maintenance staff came to check and said the parts were defective. It took another week or so to fix it. However, the whole refrigerator stopped working the next day, which was last Friday. Everything we bought went bad! The worst thing was to call Samsungs customer service. I waited online for three hours and finally got connected. They told me that they will call me back within 24 hours. Yesterday was Tuesday, there was still no calling back. Finally, I called them again, and was told the calling back time was 72 hours now! It is Wednesday today, and the person in charge has not been contacted yet. There are elderly and children in my house, and our daily meal becomes a difficult, especially in this COVID-19 pandemic. We cant eat out a lot. We have to go to groceries every single day to buy the food for that day! We are taking a great risk!
