My new Samsung gas stove is awesome! It has a convection and airfry oven! I love the way the gastop burners work. I had a gas stove previously, but was shocked how much nicer this Samsung is. It is also 5 burners (griddle center burner).

I bought this refrigerator in 2009, and 1 month ago it quit cooling in the refrigerator and the freezer all at once. Got a repairman out to fix it, he said the computer went out. So had to wait almost a month for a new computer board. Finally it came in, he installed it and it still doesnt cool!!!!! So Im told it cant be fixed, have to buy a new refrigerator. A lot of money to pay for something thats only going to last for 4 and a half years. My daughter has a GE thats about 30 years old that runs like a top! Not happy at all.

Purchased from Lowe’s Nov 2019. Refrigerator is so noisy. It will actually wake you up at night. Spoke to Lowe’s. They admitted customers complain about the noise of these refrigerators. Called Samsung. Told them about the noise. Told them it was installed by Lowe’s. Was told if they send a tech to look at it. If nothing actually wrong with it I would have to pay. Refrigerator is three months old now and has extended warranty. Lessons learned. Stay away from Samsung.

Bought a Samsung french door refrigerator from Home Depot in Sept 2014, model RF263BEAESR. Ice maker promptly froze over and ice making stopped. Customer service told us to turn off the ice maker, let it defrost and it would start working. This was true but then it froze over again, and again. In Jan 2015, Samsung authorized repair service, Charika Appliance Repair of Inverness, FL came out to install a new ice maker unit. They punctured the sealed coolant system and the refrigerator stopped working!! Samsung offered to exchange the broken refrigerator with the same model or a refund. On Jan 10, 2015, I emailed Samsung the Home Depot invoice and register receipt, and on Jan 11th a list of spoiled food. We were told that a refund was in process and we would be contacted within 24-48 hours by the refund department. Today, Jan 20th, I called for a refund status and they had not started it yet. They DO NOT refund the $105 sales tax we paid, even though the Home Depot receipt says FULL REFUND. They also DO NOT refund over $250 for spoiled food. BEWARE OF SAMSUNG REFRIGERATORS!!! They are a piece of GARBAGE. Their customer service department is terrible.

This is a Japanese product that is beautiful in looks and style. However, if you need any service, the vendors are few and far between. If a handle loses a screw, they will tell you the whole door needs to be replaced which will cost hundreds of dollars. When you call the Samsung customer service, they will refer the same Japanese repair company and promise to call you back with another repair company (which they never do) when you tell them that company is an unethical company. Also the ice maker freezes up & stops working a lot.

First the motherboard went out and my clams, lobsters, and shrimp got spoiled. I had the insurance right? Ok. The Geek Squad gave me a new refrigerator with the display always showing when you go to open door get ice or water. Now ever since Ive had this fridge every year since 2014 in July the ice maker goes out and a new one is replace. I got tired of paying for the insurance and let it go in October of last year. Guess what. ICE MARKER WENT OUT AGAIN. THUS ITS THE 4TH YEAR IT HAS DONE THIS. IT COST WITH LABOR AND PARTS 419.00. I hate Samsung products. Where and when will there be a recall on this ** ice maker??? Ill make my own goddamn ice!!!

This is the second French Door Samsung fridge I have bought, and it will be the LAST Samsung product EVER to be in my house. The first french door one was perfect. I purchased model # RF263AEWP from Lowes in Dec. 2011. Bought an extended warranty, that was a waste of $. Cant get anyone to come out. There is only one company in the East Bay of San Francisco that will come out my way for warranty work and they have lots of complaints on Yelp. They must all know the problems and dont want to bother? The water pools at the bottom of the fridge, the icemaker works when it wants, frost buildup on the back wall of fridge, etc. Today the final straw was the horrific fan noise that stops when the doors open, and then resumes when the doors are closed. With open concept kitchens, the noise is extremely annoying. I am going to throw in the towel and get a new one, even though I cant afford it. Too bad there is not a designation for negative stars! I cant get to my receipts - the filing cabinet is stuck closed.

I am having the same problem as Kimberly from California reviewed back in September on the water filter replacement cartridge DA29-00003G for the SAMSUNG French Door Refrigerator. No matter how hard I try to twist the filter, it will not seat into the receptacle even though it is the correct filter listed in my owners manual. The previous filter is an off brand made by HDX as a replacement for Samsung and it worked fine. The only difference between the two is the locking mechanism on the neck as Kimberly illustrated in her pics and I have attached my own pic as well. I have used SAMSUNG replacement filters before and this is the first time experiencing this problem. This engineering problem needs to be remedied immediately before someone ends up breaking their refrigerator and paying hundreds of dollars in replacement parts or even having to buy a new refrigerator! In the meantime I will return my filter to the store and spend my money on the other brands filter. This is a very poor oversight on SAMSUNGs part!

Our new puppy likes to counter surf and has turned on the knobs several times but even before that we have done it ourselves by bumping into them. The most recent time caused a small fire. I am very upset. There are Zero safety devices that will fit this design knob. My only option is to remove the knobs when not cooking and its hard to get the whole family to comply with that. This product (Slide in electric range model NE58F9500SS) should be recalled. I cant believe there have been so many reports of this and there is no fix and Samsung has done nothing.

They are not responsible for their issues and there is a class action lawsuit currently going on with them.

I bought a new Samsung fridge 5 years ago. The first day I had it, it would not cool. I called the store and they came the very next day and sent me a brand new in the box. It worked for awhile. However, the freezer never seemed to cool cold enough to freeze ice cream as well as pools of water under my cheese drawer in the fridge section. After many service calls and many repairs I just learned to deal with the issue. On year 5 my fridge completely died. I am extremely disappointed with my fridge and will never buy from Samsung again.

We bought a Samsung stove that broke before the warranty was expired and we called their costumer service, but they didnt respond back until way later. They said they were gonna come and see the damage to fix it, but they never showed up. We called again and they said we didnt qualify for it cause it was our fault that it broke. When we had another stove for 14 years that wasnt Samsung and it was perfectly fine for 14 years. We got the new stove thinking that it would be so much better, but its not. We cant even clean it properly because it represents a hazard and we can get cut or hurt us. If youre reading this is I recommend to please not buy their stove or products because its not that good of quality and their costumer service is not good.

DO NOT BUY FROM SAMSUNG! I ignored all the bad reviews and now Im writing one. Had our Samsung electric range delivered around 1/15/2016. Cooked dinner the other night and noticed a small chip in the surface of the burner. Called Samsung and the woman said it was not covered by the one year warranty. She claims any chips or cracks in the surface are product damage and whether intentional or unintentional, its not covered. This is a manufacturers defect. Ive been using electric ranges my entire life and never had one crack from normal use. I use this range for 2 months and the surface cracks. No matter how you look at it, this is damage caused by a product defect. Luckily Lowes informed me I can return it. Moving on to another brand and will NEVER buy another Samsung product again.

Thinking about buying a Samsung refrigerator think again, Question is - What is Samsung doing about the frozen drain line issue? Do you think that a customer wants a defective product? I dont want to defrost my system every so-often, plus with the Samsung name youd think they would do something. Im almost 4 hours in working basically for Samsung... BS! Contacted Samsung customer service and get what I expected, nowhere.. The customer service rep said this is a unknown issue, https://www.samsung.com/in/support/home-appliances/resolving-drainage-issues-in-samsung-refrigerators/. So, I sent that link to customer service rep... Then was told its out of warranty. Yea, I know I only have it for 1 1/2 year and have learned that I will be repeating this process about every 1-2 years. Luckily, I am a handy person and do not need a service call. If you have a Samsung refrigerator plan on a defrost cycle every couple years when water pools up under the tray thats a good sign to start eating up the food.. Then plan a weekend to shut it down.... What I learned is to stay to the basics. A simple refrigerator without all the crap, ice trays work fine, the sink for water and 2 doors. Oh and that smug free door. Yeah, wanna see a picture it aint smug free and its dame hard to clean it off too.. Venting over!

The worst stove/oven we ever owned. Purchased new fridge and stove, both Samsung and stainless steel. The range is NE595R0AB series. When water boils over, it stains. The oven has never worked well (convection or not), same batch of cookies but one tray might be done but 8 min later next is burnt or rare, hotter one side of even to other. Now the oven isnt working at all. In the short time since we bought these we are so unhappy, we cant believe how poor the quality is. Even the fridge, with the stainless steel. Just try to keep the stains from the fridge! It has stains from the cleaner. We hate them both and feel so ripped off. Wished we had read some of these prior.

I could not understand him. He told me to use vinegar too like I did not know that already. Waste of time. Im SO FREAKING UNHAPPY with this dishwasher but Im stuck with it. Samsung should recall them... Oh by the way, the rollers on the bottom shelf do not glide back and forth. If you take the shelf out too far, it will fall down onto the door. I am highly frustrated generally over the above company name products. Now heres why: I am a big fan of the Samsung brand, my wife is also too. 99% of all our electronics products are all Samsung products. From cell phones to TVs, tablet, microwave etc, etc. You name it. Here are some CAUSES: I have 4 TVs, in my home I bought, all Samsung products. First time my wife TV went bad, you can hear the audio from the TV but no picture. I called Samsung customer service to explain my situation. On several occasions, I got hung up on. I tried and kept fighting till I finally got someone to talk to about the problem. My sorryful appeal was heard and the problem was resolved. Couple of month later again, Im having the same problem with another TV. Called Samsung, again, it was another fight. Finally, I was told it was a software issue and I needed to buy flash drive and download the new version. I insisted not to spend money over some so-called software so they downloaded the new version and mail it out to me. I then uploaded it to the TV but did not solve the problem either. To date, I still have the TV and planning to trash it. I also have a 10.1 Samsung galaxy 4, that is giving me problems. I took it back to Best Buy, and they kept it for two weeks fixing it. To date, I still have the tablet with the same problem. Now, its my microwave. WHAT IS WRONG WITH SAMSUNGS MODERN DAYS PRODUCT? They will go OFF on you right after their warranties. Im frustrated big time over Samsung modern day products.

I bought this dishwasher new. Within the first 2 years the control panel went out, cost $200. The bottom screen tore, replaced at 85. My husband did all the labor or I would have paid as much again for this dishwasher as it cost originally. Now just a simple leak at the bottom of the door. The rubber gasket is old and tore, water leaking all over my floor. Simple to get out. But Samsung does not sell just the door gasket, You must Buy The Entire Door Panel. Why not? It’s holding the consumer hostage for higher priced parts replacements. Repacking a door when you just need the seal! The cost of a gasket $20 maybe, but the entire door is what they want to sell me at $250. just to get a new bottom door seal. Highway robbery. I will never buy your product again. Totally ridiculous! This dishwasher still looks great but it is being trashed. Can’t use it, leaks water all over the floor without the gasket. We bought the expensive Samsung Range Model #: NE59J3420SS when we upgraded our appliances. BIG mistake! From the start, the door didnt close tightly which makes the oven take forever to heat up and things dont cook correctly. The light inside the oven goes on and off intermittently, then the right front burner stopped working and then the left front burner stopped working (the only 2 large burners)! When I finally had had enough and called Samsung, they would do nothing because it had been over a year! There is OBVIOUSLY a defect with this model! This Samsung Dishwasher model DMT300RFW never worked properly. Purchased in 2011, used less than 15 times during 4 years because made dishes dirtier instead of cleaner by spitting dark grease over them. Adjusted hot water temp as suggested, no improvement. This past year, stopped working. Grinding sound when turned on. Appliance repair person said problem was connected to the drainage pump with estimated cost of $200-250 to repair. Since the DW cost slightly over $300 on sale at Best Buy (tho my Worst Buy, ever--now I know why it was marked down to such a great sale price) I opted not to have it repaired. I couldnt even find anyone to take this almost new DW for free. Unfortunately, I still own a Samsung microwave & stove. (The repair guy cautioned me about boiling large pots of water on the stovetop under the microwave because rising steam is the major cause of the electronics of the microwave keypad ceasing to function.)What a major mistake not taking time to first research reviews, being swayed by great sale prices & a supposedly dependable name in technology. Samsungs technology expertise does not transfer over to their appliances. Also beware that some Kenmore appliances are now Samsung made. Ive just purchased a new GE DW from a small, been around for decades, reputable dealer because GE still has a good reputation. I will from now on stay clear of Samsung, or any brand, such as Kenmore, which may be Samsung in disguise.

Follow up; my frustrating experience with all of our Samsung appliances. Stove Model NE58F97. Fridge Model RF267. Washer WF 328 and Dryer DV 328. Stove has a previous review in Feb. The amount of issues with this stove warrants action by consumers. Doesnt cook! Burns, dries out, undercooks food and anything with fat under high heat will be sucked through the convection fan and turn into a smoking mess. Will not broil anything, try and broil a steak, youll be sorry. The only way you are going to bake a potato is to place it directly on the lower stove element and turn it once. Thats how bad the cooking is. This stove is all flash with zero engineering or consumer testing. The glass top ($); well seems everyone is having problems with the top. Too fragile period! I will be replacing my top after a 1 ounce salt shaker nicked the edge. Looked like an innocent looking edge chip but the first time the large burner was turned on it shattered the top. Design flaw or purpose built? You be the judge, looks suspect to me. Wonder how many glass tops were made? The shelving is horrible, we had an incident in previous review where the locking sliding shelf would lock into place randomly. Looked locked in but wasnt. Rest of shelving just falls to bottom with any weight. Really bad on lower half of stove. Dangerous! Burns! Damaged ovenware! Really! Burners are all over the place with heat regulation. Zero simmering capabilities, goes from no heat to blast furnace. Ruined many high quality stainless pans and Revere Ware to the point they are unusable (warped). Way too hot on high settings. Multi burner has multiple control issues. I do not bake cake goods but I can just imagine the problems with that because it can barely cook a pizza. Warming drawer is worthless (low setting too hot) and makes loud banging noises from heat expansion. Do not open this stove without turning your head away, the steam that shoots out of the front of this stove is dangerous. Cooling fan was dead quiet now has annoying high pitch. So it will not cook, its dangerous, will destroy your property and you will need a new top ($500) around every two years if you are lucky. This is my personal experience. Please if anyone has had a good one let us know! Fridge, well the fridge has performed fair but heres the list. Ice maker way under powered. Has been replaced once under warranty ($). Struggles to dispense or crush ice. Interior shelving horrible. Folding and sliding shelves have a mind of their own and continually cause items to fall out of fridge. Folding shelf was stiff so we tried to stay away from using it. Broke ($) at hinges 3rd time we used it. Front lowest edge of shelf is rounded without lip. Stuff slides off shelf onto floor. Fresh drawer broke the 2nd time ($) we cleaned it. Just hangs loose now. Freezer will occasionally go into steroid defrost mode and you will have an inch of frost on everything (normally a 16th of an inch). Washer does good job washing but screams horribly on any fill cycle. Sign they used cheap plastic on their water fill valves ($) and calcium buildup is slowly clogging it. Washer has the load leveling feature ($) which has gotten sloppier. Dryer does well but occasionally acts like the sensor ($) is going and will leave a damp load. I wont buy any of their products again. They got too big too fast and have turned into company that needs profits and have designed their appliances to be cash cows (that is what the dollar sign represents in this review) for their parts and repair business and affiliates. I purchased my stove through the internet from Goedekers in St. Louis, MO in 2014 and paid $1800. I will not bother with their customer service, they have to be overwhelmed and under corporate pressure to not honor their product from what I have read. Stay far away from their products and good luck finding anything of quality out there today. Our own fault we let this go on.

We purchased this refrigerator less than two years ago. It worked OK for maybe a year and then the dispensing ice maker started making horrible noises, dispensing wet ice, cubes freezing together in the ice bin. I ended up simply turning it off and just using the ice maker located in the freezer compartment.Around the end of the first year, we began hearing an annoying clicking sound, which was caused by the cooling fan inside the back panel being COMPLETELY encased in ice.I research this model refrigerator on the internet and found a myriad of Folks having the same issues. For the next 3 years, I periodically had to either use a hairdryer for a quick fix or remove the entire back panel to de-ice the entire bank of cooling coils per instructions on YouTube from dozens of unfortunate Consumers who purchased this piece of junk.ALSO, there are MANY Class Action Lawsuits listed on the internet related to Samsung poor engineering of the automatic defrost function(s) of this particular model. In 50+ years of marriage, we have purchased 8 - 10 refrigerators for our homes and have NEVER had an experience such as this. Today, we took delivery of a new refrigerator. Suffice it to say, it was NOT a Samsung. Samsung should be ashamed to have placed such a poorly engineered product on the market. I would STRONGLY recommend that anyone reading this NEVER purchase a Samsung refrigerator....They did not stand behind this product.

Purchased my Samsung electric range in January of 2015. It has been a year and a half, and the Samsung silver letters located right under the panel that contains the clock, baking settings, and so forth have peeled completely off, the white circles on top of the range that denote where to place the pan/pot are fading. I also noticed that the small black circles that indicate if it is, for example, front right or front left on the range are fading and the black lines around the knobs are fading as well. I was very excited to get this new appliance, and have tried to keep the stovetop as clean as possible. I have only used recommended cleaners for this kind of range, Needless to say, I now have permanent burn spots and I cannot get rid of them. When I clean now, I have to be extremely careful. Im afraid that the fading will continue and my range that is less than two years old will look like its 10 years old. Highly disappointed and will probably not buy a Samsung range again.

My husband found a puddle of water one morning and after resetting the computer several times, the freezer was starting to melt items and the fridge section was 65 degrees. Everything was thrown away and a repairman was called. Two local repairman refused to work on a Samsung product. I had to call a Samsung certified repairman. While cleaning out the freezer I found this little light looking item with wires coming out of each side, it was no bigger than my little finger. When the certified technician got there, I immediately showed him the part that I found in the freezer drawer. He said, I cant fix this refrigerator. The part that fell off was from the top of the freezer ceiling inside the pull out drawer and it was dislodged from the wiring harness that was UP inside the fridge and there was no way to fix it. I asked how much I owed him and he said $75.00. I paid it but 75.00 for less than a 5 minute visit was terrible. Anyway, he left his card and I told him I didnt need it, because I would NEVER have another Samsung appliance. This is a design flaw with Samsung that they could easily fix and unfortunately its on all Samsung refrigerators. We asked our local repairman what he would recommend and he said GE, LG or Whirlpool. We looked at Lowes and all Samsung products had the little item on the top of the freezer ceiling so that if something bumps it, the fridge cannot be fixed. Our Whirlpool has the same item on the back wall of the freezer so that NOTHING can bump it. Losing a 2200.00 6 year old fridge is terrible... customer service was terrible and knowing the problem with the fridge and not fixing it tells me that Samsung is only interested in making money on the sales and ensuring that their refrigerators dont last. Poor design... poor appliances. Samsung stick to phones please.

We bought this refrigerator when we built our new home back in July 2012. From day one, the ice maker didnt work right. I found myself waiting for ice for what seemed like forever. As time went on, it made less and less ice. Then it stopped making cubed ice and it almost was the consistency of a snow cone. Then another issue with it spitting out a good amount of water before the ice would come out, leaving water on my beautiful new hardwood floors. Not to mention it usually got all over myself as well. One day I noticed that the door was not in the track, allowing the cold air to leak out around the doors. I thought this might be why we were having the ice maker problems. So I gave it another week to see if the issue would resolve itself after fixing the doors. It broke... I dont know what in the world happened, it just stopped working altogether. So I called the company and after telling them I was completely done with this refrigerator and the constant ongoing issues, I wanted it fixed ASAP. The service company they referred me to said they couldnt come out for a week. I find this unacceptable on many levels. So I called Samsung again to tell them about the delay. They informed me that I would be hearing from an executive team member in 24-48 hours. Three days later, I called them because I never got a call. The employee apologized, took note of my complaint and assured me I would hear from someone in another 24-48 hours. Here I am, 3 days later, and I am yet to get a phone call. Like many other of the complaints I read, I too have had to eat out and spend countless dollars. And of course I had just gone to the grocery store the day before it broke completely. I will never buy another product from this company and I definitely would NEVER recommend Samsung to anyone.

We have had our refrigerator (bottom-freezer) less than a year. Weve had Samsung out 3 times to check out the random very loud noise that it makes. The resulting opinion is that the noise is normal. I am having to endure it as I type this and would encourage anyone to NOT BUY a Samsung appliance. Another thing is the space inside. The shelves are not spaced to hold American-sized food/drink containers, so we have to store them on their sides. From what Ive read, they make fine electronics - TVs, etc. Just dont buy their appliances.

I’ve been wanting a range with a convection oven for a long time. I finally bought a handsome Samsung glass-top range with a convection oven at Home Depot. The oven is ok...but not anything special. It’s the cooktop that drives me crazy. Put the dial all the way low on the front left burner, and it will burn anything you put on it. Put the dial to low on any of the other four burners, and your food will remain cold. I called the Samsung Customer Service and finally got to a “range specialist.” He told me my utensils were to blame and then hung up on me. Don’t buy a Samsung range unless you’re a masochist..

We purchased the door-in-door, Samsung, side by side refrigerator in November 2016, from Best Buy. We are extremely happy with the larger refrigerator with easy access to beverages. However, the ice maker and water dispenser are the worst. Not only is the ice maker very loud but it ices up and needs to be removed and cleaned out constantly. Also, there isnt any easy access to the ice from inside the door when you need large amounts of ice without taking the unit out. Even with these small problems, the overall reaction is that this was the perfect refrigerator for our family.

We contacted Samsung before and they do not cover under their so called 10 yr warranty! That is the only reason why we purchased it because of the warranty! I will never purchase a Samsung product ever again and I will never refer a family or friend to purchase it either!!! They lost a customer with us.

My ice maker broke within 4 years. I contacted Samsung and they told me to call a repair person and that it is not their problem due to being out of warranty. My washer was broken after 2 years and could not be repaired, had to replace with a new one and spend another $1,000. My fridge was serviced within months of purchase. My decals on all my appliances fell off within one year as well. My Samsung microwave was replaced 4 times within the one year warranty. People be aware and dont waste your money.

Multiple service calls for icing up, seven in a two month period alone, until the problem was fixed. Then noticed discoloration of the doors appearing like a splashing, bubbling effect all over the front. No amount of polishing would take it away. The last service person to come said its a defect in the workmanship and that when the coating was placed over the stainless, air must have gotten in or the seal wasnt prepared properly and the problem of the unsightly look is coming from in between the coating and the stainless making it impossible to look clear no matter how much you polish the fridge. My extended service contract doesnt cover it from P.C. Richards as they say it is a Samsung workmanship defect from the factory. Samsung says they wont cover it because its past the warranty even though its THEIR manufacturers defect. This fridge cost a lot of money and is only four years old and the facade looks like a mess that no amount of polishing can fix. Samsung says sorry....... I say NEVER buy another Samsung product again.

A few years ago we had a Samsung microwave. We had to have it repaired when it was less than two years old. Repair cost about $200. Within a couple of months, the repair failed. Sorry, we guarantee our repairs for only 30 days. Thanks, Samsung. In December 2013, i.e., about 15 months ago we bought the RF323TEDBSR/AA 30 cu ft refrigerator because it had the size and features we wanted. It stopped working a week ago. Luckily, we have a 25-year old GE in the garage, still going strong. Repairman from Samsung came today. Oh, you have to order a $200 part. When you get the part, well come back and install it. Another $200 or more. Service stinks. Quality stinks.

I bought my Samsung refrigerator in 2013. I paid nearly $2000 for this and thought it would last. WRONG! The bottom freezer would ice up and leak constantly. Then Dec 4, 2015 the freezer part just stopped working, ruined the food I had. I called Samsung and their answer was to call a service tech that I would have to pay for. I just left it alone as I had a deep freezer. Just hoped the fridge part would continue to work. Well as of today February 2, 2016 it has quit as well. I again called Samsung and no kidding was on phone for over an hour only to be told Too bad. Sorry for the inconvenience but we are not fixing it. What a crock! I have had cell phones which are Samsung last longer than this refrigerator. So off I went to Lowes, bought just the plain Jane side by side for 856 by Frigidaire. Certainly will NEVER BUY Samsung again... I hope you take my advice and steer clear of Samsung refrigerators.

The first service call the technician installed a repair kit for the fan in the rear of the unit, a common problem Samsung recommended to stop the noise. Several days later it was making a different noise - it sounds like the compressor. The same technician came back and could not hear anything abnormal. Now, 3 weeks later the noise is louder. The service advisor I called advised me if the technician does not hear a noise I will be charged for the service call. This unit is 2 months old. Our previous refrigerator was 30 years old and was much quieter than this one.

We purchased a Samsung refrigerator two years ago. French doors with a lower freezer drawer and a refrigerator drawer. A week ago, the refrigerator door handle became dislodged with no way to reattach it. We had to call a service rep to fix. Only he cannot. The screws that bolt unto the draw and handle are unique to the Samsung product. Using a standard bolt that is longer wont work. Somehow the threads within the draw have dropped back into the draw itself and there is no way to attach the handles. So, we now have to purchase a whole new draw for nearly $500 including servicing. We will never purchase a Samsung again.

I bought a French door refrigerator in October 2009 and have nothing but problems with it. Had ice unit replaced twice and it was never fixed. Told by service technician that Samsung paid that there was a design flaw in Samsung refrigerators and it will never work right. Tried to get unit replaced and Samsung would not respond and delayed fixing until out of warranty. It has never worked correctly. Now I have water/ice under deli drawer and told this is another known problem and a fix has been finally figured out. Out of warranty, so this would be my expense. From what I have read on the internet, I can spend hundreds on repair service and problem will never be fixed. Most people who post suggest dumping the unit and replace it with anything but Samsung. Hate to do this as unit was expensive, but have no other choice. Does anyone know if there is class action lawsuit on these refrigerators?

We have had the Samsung DW80F600 for 2 years and it is not working. Called customer service and ended up in some foreign country with staff who had no idea what to do. The only solution was to call a technician which I did and awaiting for him to show up. I suspect that as with most posts here, the technician will tell us that the repair will cost a few hundred dollars in which case it will be cheaper to buy a new one. WE had a GE dishwasher for 20 years and never had a problem with it. Like their Samsung phones, I suspect they cannot produce good products. Many other good brands to choose from.Updated 9/21/2016 - Samsung has a con system going on. THEY KNOW THERE IS A QUALITY PROBLEM WITH THEIR DISHWASHERS AND THEY CHOOSE TO DO NOTHING TO FIX THE PROBLEM. Please read the rest of the post. I promised to let you know what happened with the fix of my dysfunctional Samsung DW80F600, 2 year-old dishwasher.I called the appliance repair company Totem Appliance that was recommended by Samsung and set up an appointment for September 21, 2016. I was told that they cannot tell me over the phone what the problem was until the technician had a chance to diagnose the problem. The fee for this diagnosis I was told is $115. The technician showed up and lo and behold was carrying a replacement part. I asked him what that part was and he told me that this is the part that needs to be replaced. The exact part is the Brake Case Assembly - I believe part # DD82-01111A (as shown on the package). I asked him how he knew what the problem was and his response was that Samsung fielded many such complaints and by now they know what the problem is. Reluctantly I told him to go ahead and fix the problem. The cost for this part is $400 (a new dishwasher costs $600). He pulled the dishwasher out and replaced the bracket case assembly. He turned the dishwasher on to test it and amazingly it did not work. The Smart Auto error was blinking. He said that the dishwasher senses water and we need to leave the dishwasher door open for 24 hours for the water inside to dry or alternatively, he can dry the water himself. I said he should dry the water rather than us wait for 24 hours (not knowing whether we are going to see this company again). He pulled out the dishwasher (again), flipped it over, and unscrewed the bottom panel. Lo and behold, no water to be found, meaning there was no water as he claimed. He then said he needs to look at the ecs sensor. He took it apart, cleaned it and screwed back the bottom panel. He turned the dishwasher on and my goodness, it did not work again. The Smart Auto light was blinking again. He then said he has to call head office. He did call head office and they told him he needs to replace the pcb which is the main control board. He told me that this part is warranted for 5 years. I wanted to know why did he not replace the pcb in the first place and he said that Samsung told them to replace all three parts, regardless of the problem and then charge for the ecs and bracket case assembly only. In other words, since the pcb is under warranty they want to give you the impression that you are getting a so called deal.Since he did not have the pcb on him, nor did he have a replacement ecs sensor, he said that he will return the next day (Thursday, September 22) with the parts and replace them. So what does this all mean - 1. This is one big CON; 2. Rather than first replace the warranty part, namely the pcb, they sell you the most expensive parts first and if the fix does not work, only then they offer a replacement pcb. This to me is cause for a class action lawsuit and perhaps inform the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) to trigger a recall. If you all agree with me then lets go for it. We all know by now the problems that Samsung is having with the Galaxy phone suggesting that quality is not part of the Samsung culture and secondly, they think their customers are stupid.

I have a 9 year old two door fridge, which when working is a great design. I find it hard to get a repair person to resolve a long-term noise in the fan. I now resort to using my hair-dryer blowing into the vents and this seems to de-ice the fan and hence the noise abates for a few months. Also sometimes the water dispenser decides not to dispense water... ugh! I am frustrated but these items cost a bomb, so I havent replaced it yet.

Purchased in 2009 from Lowes. Was instructed to call Samsung due to out of warranty status. Was informed by Samsung that my complaints were mine and it was not Samsungs issue but was cosmetic and I would have to take care of it myself. She stated that there had been no other complaints such as this and passed me on to Quality Control who also told me that there was nothing like this on any of their refrigerators. Today I spoke with the main office of Lowes and apparently there is nothing that can be done for this except to replace the doors and drawer or pull them off and have someone sand them down and repaint. My concern is this... WHY is there RUST under the white paint??? I do not have any leaks, I do not use any cleaners except for a damp cloth and there has been nothing hit any of the edges to create cracks. I started with one small area 3-4 weeks ago and now it is across the bottom of the left door, all the way across the top edge of the freezer drawer and one small area that has just popped up on the bottom of the drawer. This is only 6 years old!!!

I bought our 4-door refrigerator in 12/11. About a month later, the right door bins started falling out. I called Samsung directly and ordered replacements. No problem. The wrong bins came so thinking I was responsible, I called and reordered them. About 3 weeks passed and I hadnt received them, so I called them again. I was told that the order hadnt been placed so I ordered them again. I still hadnt received them after another 3-4 weeks, so I called them again. I was told that they were ordered but they didnt know where they were? She placed the order again. Another month passed and I hadnt received them yet, so I called and asked to speak to their customer service department. The gentleman assured me that they were backordered (never heard that before) and that they were now in stock and he would ship them immediately. I called the following week to make sure that they had been sent. Some lady assured me that they were shipped on the 15th of September. That was September 15, 2011, today is 9/29/11. I havent received them yet so I called and asked for customer service again. This time, I got their executive customer service rep. I was told that their records showed I had received some bins in early July of 2011. No record of my corrected order. I explained to her that those were the wrong bins and that I had made several calls after that, reordering the correct bins. She just didnt know what happened but assured me that she was looking in to it. I had explained everything to her and then she asked me for my email address and said she would send me one regarding the circumstances. I asked her for a direct call instead and she said she could not make out going calls? That was this morning. Still no email. I called Sears, explained to them what had been going on. They said they had my warranty info and would send them out immediately. He repeated the description to me 3 times so there are no mistakes. He gave me his full name and direct number too. We always buy Sears products and I dont know why we bought the Samsung. Ill never do it again. They dont support their product in anyway. The only reason I gave it one star is because of the size. I purchased Samsung French Door Counter Depth Refrigerator in November 2016 and had problems with the freezer drawer almost immediately. The drawer would not open completely unless you tugged on it multiple times so I contacted Samsung and was summarily dismissed by the first person with whom I came in contact. I was told by this person that the drawer only opens a few inches and that I would basically have to live with the situation. The second person I called tried to get me to be the service technician and suggested numerous things that I could do to try and remedy the problem. I told him that I did not have the time nor the inclination to play service technician and that since the unit was new I expected Samsung to send a technician to take care of the issue. They sent someone from Service Quick who decided the drawer gasket was bad and it was allowing air into the freezer causing frost to build up on the rails thus preventing the drawer from opening completely. The gasket was replaced and the next day the drawer was just as bad as it had been prior to the service call. I made another call to Samsung and the second time two technicians arrived and they decided the rails were bad and replaced both rails. The following day the drawer was even worse than before and it was difficult to open and close. The third and final service call two technicians arrived and one tested the gasket for air leaks and the other used a steamer on just one of the rails (why only one I do not know). These idiots told me there were no air leaks but I needed to wipe the door gasket off at least once or twice a week! Finally I contacted Samsung again and they wanted to send another technician from another company to assess the situation and I refused. I told them that since the refrigerator was new and they could not resolve the issue after three tries I wanted them to consider another way to resolve the matter. Samsung decided they would refund my money, however it has been two weeks since I provided them with the information they requested in order to process the refund and I have yet to get a response to my e-mail inquiring about the status of the matter. I decided to call the Samsung refund and exchanges department and was placed on hold for 45 minutes. While I was on hold 6 PM rolled around and due to the fact that department closes at 6 PM a recorded message came on and said they could not take my call and that I should call back during regular business hours. We have many Samsung products in our household and, fortunately have never needed service on any of them, until the refrigerator. Now I have experienced the abysmal service from Samsung I will never recommend nor will I ever purchase another Samsung product! Samsung cares nothing about the customer as evidenced by the dismal service they provide. My recommendation is to boycott Samsung and buy products from companies that will service what they sell and respond to the customer in a timely and efficient manner!

We have had our Samsung Microwave a little over three years, Model No. SMH9187ST. I noticed it had been getting considerably louder the last six months. It is used by two seniors so it does not get excessive use. The nearest repair service for us was 40 miles from our house. They would come to our home to diagnose the problem for $70. We could take it to their service store, and they would charge us $35 to diagnose problem. We were already quite sure it was the magnetron. The manual said it had a 10 year warranty. When taking down our microwave, we found that it had a broken grill. We had never had it apart so we assumed that is how we received it. The fee to repair our microwave was $175.99 (with the part under warranty). We paid in the $300 range for this microwave. The Samsung salesman did not advise us that we were buying a disposable appliance. A bit concerning for us, as at the time we purchased the microwave, we bought the rest of the kitchen appliances... all Samsung.

In 2011 we purchased a Samsung model # DMT800RHS dishwasher. It required 2 service calls within the 1st year: once because we had to keep flipping the breaker to get it to turn on and once for a problem with the control panel. The racks are held together with plastic clips. The top rack has two positions. After only 2 years, many of the plastic clips are broken, and now the rack will not stay in the up position. One of the rungs (which is also held together with plastic clips) will not stay in the upright position because of the broken clips. We also purchased an electric range and French door refrigerator. We have had one service call on the range. So far the only appliance that has not needed service is the refrigerator. I would not recommend Samsung appliances at all. And I will absolutely never purchase a Samsung again.

There is a serious engineering flaw in the Samsung Refrigerators. The issue is that the refrigerator will ice up creating a huge ice jam in back of the refrigerator. It starts with water flowing down the back and into the crispers. That water freezes inside of the refrigerator causing a huge ice jam to create behind the back plastic covering inside of the refrigerator. This has been reported to be a widespread issue. All that you need to do is look up Samsung Refrigerator Issue on the internet. There are many individuals trying to provide so-called, remedies. However you cannot fix a poor design and the issue amounts to individuals having to defrost their refrigerator every couple months. Also water builds up inside. The internal temperature fluctuates thus causing food spoilage. Additionally the catch basin underneath will overflow with water causing damage to floors. Samsung appears to turn their back on this issue, even though it is widely reported. The issue starts after about the first or second year of ownership.

I have purchased four Samsung appliances within the last four years, and three needed repairs. Microwave, purchased a year and 1/2 ago, needed new keypad which cost $160 repair. My French door refrigerator, purchased four years ago, needed new rear panel and defrost sensor/water build up under deli drawer. This is a common problem we find out. This cost us $185.50 in repair. Front loading washer, purchased three years ago, needed new bellow with repair cost of $137.21. Im very disappointed in Samsung products. I would like someone from Samsung to contact me if there is something they can do to help absorb some of these costs. Do you stand behind your product? I will be building a new home in the near future and will not be considering Samsung appliances.

We have had a leak in the water everytime you use the crushed ice--cannot get it to stop, now the water works and no ice---I notice this is an ongoing problem with this Samsung RF23HCEDBS/AA Bottom Freezer. I have them coming out to fix this and it is 2 years old so it is out of warranty. I have seen that it may cost up to $600.00 to repair this, well we paid over $2,000 for this fridge and if it costs me that much I will dump it and buy a new one but never again a Samsung! This is very frustrating and when I tell them that this is an ongoing issue based on the reviews all they say from whatever country they are answering from thank you sir. Must be the first thing they teach them in India answering the phone!

I purchased a Samsung washing machine and dryer and upon receipt of the appliances the washing machine would not power on so I had to have a service tech come out. Mind you this is brand new. Never ever operated so they had to repair the computer on the washing machine. I asked for a refund immediately or an exchange and they would not honor it so I was stuck with the product. Subsequently maybe a month or so later I had to have a repair on the washing machine drum. The plastic trim on the top that holds it in somehow became chewed up and in disrepair. They came out and repair that. Not much longer afterwards I had the same problem. They came out again and repair that. Weve had a little luck for a year or so but now were faced with the same exact problem again and theyre saying that were out of warranty. Mind you, this is the same exact reoccurring problem. Hopefully they will finally stand by their product and either replace it or give us a refund. My fingers are crossed but at this point I definitely dont recommend any Samsung products and Im sure that Ill never purchase any more myself.

The absolute worst dishwasher I have ever used. Wish I had never bought it! No matter how the dishes are arranged they never all come clean. At least 1 out 4 are still dirty. I now have to soak all the dishes prior to putting them in. Soaking the dishes does not guarantee that they will come out clean. Additionally you will have to clean the area where the water drains each time you use it to prevent Black Mold from growing. If there is a Samsung product in the next home we purchase we will ask for an appliance credit and tell them to take the crap with them. NEVER BUY THIS DISHWASHER!!

I ordered Samsung Gas Range, Model NX58H9500WS/AA from Plessers on April 4th, 2016. In two months, the surface burn grates cracked. I filed a claim, to my dismay, the customer service is the worst ever I had dealt with. I was asked to send the pictures of the defect parts and the receipts. I sent what they asked for on June 20th. Until today, I did not hear a word. I just called and was told that the burner grates and the cap are not covered. The gas range is quite expensive. I cannot believe that the burn grates cracked in two months. The workmanship is extremely poor.

We purchased our Samsung stainless steel french door fridge 1 yr 4 months ago. (FModel # RF261B EAESR). Yesterday I noticed the right door was slightly lower than left door by looking at the top. The same day I went to open the door and it came crashing down on the floor!! Thankfully my 3 year old son and my little dog were not around and no one was hurt. Upon inspection the upper right door hinge broke that anchors the door. I think its a horrible design flaw in the part. Although the door hinge plate is metal the male end of the hinge is plastic! That part is what failed. The fall did cause one of the removable door shelves to crack. Im writing this complaint because Im big on safety and hope Samsung reads this so no one gets hurt in the future.

The unit was manufactured (read, assembled, as the compressor is made in Korea) in Mexico on Jan 2010. We purchased in March 2010 - over the course of these 4 years, weve had several times when the unit stopped cooling. This last time it has stopped all together. Repairman came to look and told me the compressor isnt working. I asked how much to fix and he said good luck finding someone to do the work as the copper has to be cut, the refrigerant has to be captured, new compressor installed, new solder onto the coils and recharge the coolant. At a minimum he said wed be looking at $400 in labor alone and the new compressor costs $250. Oh and thats only a guess because the problem could be within the electrical system but he (the repairman) couldnt test the computers that control the unit. The thing that totally gets me, as others here have posted, is that older units (which ours is out in the garage and still working like a champ even though for the past five years its survived sub zero winters while still running) is that the new unit is already failing, the cost for repair we might as well buy a new unit and that the manufacturer only has a 12-month warranty - complete crap. I used the online tool to get a repair referral from off of Samsungs website - no call back, no email, nothing. I called and left voice mail to the same, referred to repair shop and still no call back.

When redoing my kitchen, I wanted a counter depth refrigerator but only have a 30+ opening. What I found is that Samsung is the only manufacturer offering this under $2000.00. Yes you can buy a Sub-Zero for $7k or a Liebherr for $4k but you also need over 70 in height which I do not have. I am not the only one in this situation. My sister recently faced the same problem, along with 3 other shoppers in the showroom... Right from the start there were problems; food and beverages freezing in the refrigerator, ice buildup and water in and under the crisper bins, water dripping on the floor, crushed ice chips rather than cubes. Repaired once with a new control they said was a design defect, but out of warranty so you are on your own. Now the ice maker has stopped working entirely, the freezing water is back in the fridge and on the floor and the ice cream is melting in the freezer. My friend also has this unit in white. She has the paint peeling off the handles, the same freezing/dripping water problems and ice maker problems. Not everyone has a huge kitchen where they have many choices for counter depth machines. Why are manufacturers ignoring this market? I understand the small kitchen accounts for 30% of homes and apartments in the USA. I am waiting for the repairman once again today... This Samsung is a piece of garbage! Dont buy it. Wish I had the $ for the subzero... but then again Subzero would be a better investment if I have to buy this Samsung crap every few years...

Heard grinding noise after 20 months of owning DMT800. I quickly opened the dishwasher door and got my phone and video recorded the sound when I restarted the dishwasher for the repairman. ALWAYS rinsed dishes before putting in dishwasher so I knew that it was not from food but sounded like plastic grinding. Thankfully I purchased 4 year contract with Lowes because Samsung warranty ran out as of 3/04/2013. Repairman said pump. Pump has plastic fins also so they break easy also. So the pump is being replaced. In my quest to find out why the grinding noise I noticed the plastic clips missing from the adjustable top rack holder (basket adjuster assembly). I went on the internet to find this issue was a VERY common issue. I figure that was the noise. Pump has come waiting for service. Pump is $217.00. Basket Adjuster Assembly Left & right Set $35.00 not sure if it will be covered by Lowes will find out. However, if not I will purchase and replace myself & also use wire ties that are industrial strength and can withstand heat to help support. Thinking of using an epoxy for hot water also to support. I do not want the pump to take a beating again because of Samsungs poor design. I did call Samsung and they claim that they have never had an issue or call (LOL), it was on me because I was out of warranty. Too bad for Samsung because I am in need of a refrigerator and front load washer and am very leery of their appliances with the attitude that I got. They would not even comp me the newly designed brackets or give me the parts number for the top shelf even though it was their poor design. If anyone is looking to start a Class Action Lawsuit on this product I am in. I just may contact an attorney myself and see if he would like to take them on. Too many customers with issues not to start one. Will also make sure I warn everyone of my friends on Facebook and ask them to pass it on and we all know how those numbers can go. Bottom line? Dont mess with a woman and her appliances, it will be trouble? Consequences? We will see what Lowes has to say and see if they may have some pull with Samsung as a dealer to get results. Got to follow every path I can to get results. Samsung may not like it but they just may meet a woman/mom with teeth that bite. :)

Samsung otr microwave smh9207st is very dangerous and should be recalled. It had the door replaced twice and almost every holiday while I was cooking on the stove the steam rose and if the microwave was turned on it died like it isnt sealed properly. I think it was the third time it actually caught on fire and the magnetron and numerous parts were replaced free of charge with the promise if it failed again it would be replaced with no problems. When it died again they did not replace it - they repaired it again. When it died again they admitted they had it on record it was supposed to be replaced but refused to. They would pay for the magnetron but that was it. I would be responsible for the labor and any other parts. The repair service visit for the fire the repairman had just left a place not 20 miles from me for the same microwave catching on fire. I wanted to share my experience because I believe someone might truly get hurt by this product. I will not repair this again for the fear of burning my house down. I will never buy one of their products again because I have found they do not care if it is dangerous. They should recall and discontinue making it.

The microwave just stopped working suddenly and displayed the error code SE. My husband was able to find a YouTube video on how to get it working again. It worked for a few weeks and then happened again. My husband fixed it AGAIN and it works for a while then went out again, and again, and again. Each time the fix lasted for a shorter time period until it just would go back to the error immediately. I cannot understand how companies such as Samsung are allowed to make products like this and rip off their customers. We havent had the microwave long...probably 3-4 years but it seems nowadays you cant expect anything you buy to last long no matter what you pay for them. It is completely IGNORANT that Samsung manufactures these over the range microwave models that dont vent well and the control panel is directly over the burner of the range where you boil water. Seriously? STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG MICROWAVES!!!

We have purchased a four door Samsung refrigerator which in less than a year of usage the refrigerator section no longer was cooling. Called Samsung Customer Service and after spending 45 min on the phone I was transferred to the Executive Customer Relations only to answer a myriad of questions that were already answered during the first call and supposedly documented in the service ticket. The Executive Customer Relations could not provide much assistance except for providing the names of two Samsung approved service centers; however, conveniently forgot to provide a service to be provided to the service center. Therefore, when I placed the call to the Service center I was informed that without that number they cannot assist.Called Samsung again, only to go through the same process described above and waste another good hour on the phone to obtain the service ticket number. Called the Service Center and 48 hours later, a technician showed up; however, due to the size and location of the refrigerator he could not assess what needed to be done. He placed a call to the Service Center to re-scheduled the repair and at the end he informed me that he is going to be on site on the following week on Wednesday at 8 AM along with his supervisor **.Wednesday came and at 8:30 AM I called ** to see what time hell be on site only to be informed that hell be in at 10AM. At 10:30 I called their center and was informed that they will not be in till 11AM. They showed up at 11:30AM. The unit was checked by an experienced technician, not Samsung, and later on he provided me with the technical bulletin from Samsung showing that this unit has two independent compressors and it is Not-serviceable; however, the Samsung service technician said that they can fix it. After they checked the refrigerator, both technicians agreed that the unit cannot be fixed.

Suddenly after 4.5 years the controls on our Samsung model RB194ACRS fridge have gone wonky. The freezer goes away down below the set temperature, the temperature indicator on the door gives the wrong temperature reading, the child lock is on, though not selected. As a consequence the crispers freeze and the defrost water running down the back wall freezes in or under the crispers. The drain issue can be solved by defrosting or adding a part, but with $300 invested in a new fridge sensor, a new freezer sensor and a new motherboard, we are at the end. The authorized Samsung service people do not believe that a second replacement motherboard will change anything and so it is new fridge time. It wont be a Samsung.

Bought from Lowes on August 2, 2013 (4 months ago). Problems with ice maker from the date of delivery. The entire ice maker assembly has been replaced twice. The freezer door deal once. Within days after replacement/repairs same problem occurs. Either no ice produced or very little over a long period of time. Calling Samsung for repairs is an ordeal. Numerous calls. After taking all the information, they say they will call or email within 3-5 days. Sometimes they do. Sometimes they do not. For example, I called on Tuesday, December 10, 20123. Was given Transaction # and was told my case will be considered for replacement or reimbursement. Again, was told I would either get a call or email within 3-5 days. I waited seven (7) days. Called Samsung. Was told that there was no record of the Transaction # given to me. New one given. Again, I was told that I would get a call or email within 3-5 days. Same thing time and time again. On those occasions when they do call me, I am told that a repair technician will be contacting me to set up an appointment in my home. That takes an additional week or two. By far, this is the worst consumer experience I have ever had in my entire life. Real bad. I can just sit down and write a novel about my disposable fridge that would make a priest want to renounce his vows, oh my! And thats not all! So while I have your attention, let me begin with the juiciness of this sought over novel, soon to be released; not appropriate for the weak-minded, lame, sex offenders, and others whom are abusive. My story begins on the purchase date of December 3, 2010, not to be delivered until December 21, 2010 on Model: RF217ACRSXAA; Brand: Samsung 20 cubit ft B/M french doors; cost $1,299.00, growling! OK, its going on 8-years old, so what? Dont you want for your refrigerator to last more than just 8 years, I do? After all, $1,299 isnt anything to laugh about on the high cost of paying for any appliance that should serve their customers well in the long-run; hello, this one doesnt cut the cake, in fact, it lacked in all areas. Listen up now in hearing the truth and the reality of this poorly constructed, over-priced, defective, piece of disposable stainless steel has-been appliance of junk. Not pretty so far, and its not going to get any prettier, trust me. To save time, Im just going to list the issues in laying them straight out for your digestion, and I hope they dont deliver unto any of you any form of nausea, flu-like symptoms, diarrhea, or self-inflicted wounds; even thou tempted. This appliance was doomed when formed in the craters of the stainless steel womb in appliance making; in laymans terms it was defective and unacceptable and much made aware of, however, Samsung continued to disregard any discrepancies of their workmanship and so they continued on. This so-called wannabe fridge didnt pan out at all in its performance and the companies bragging and boasting of such a wonderful product; check out the other sources of reviews regarding their refrigerators and youll see the tremendous faults and Samsungs own claims that it was your fault based upon reasonable wear and tear, other words, your daily usage of their product. BULL! Cheap and stupid comment! Everything we have is considered being used on a daily basis as wear and tear. So it comes down to: a faulty and a unacceptable product with the first thing happening were dents appearing upon the surface front of the stainless steel in various areas where nothing was knocked or hit upon the refrigerator, and this still remains a mystery to this day; and suddenly one day out of the blue when upon opening and gagging, a vile odor of non-delight smacked me right in the face of something raw and diseased in leaving a stench of a decomposed corpse somewhere hiding in my fridge, it was so intrusive and vile that I had to end up removing everything in my fridge to remove the odor of death with vinegar, baking powder, peroxide and rubbing alcohol, which finally helped in this hideous stench, plus it harbored its odor upon my cheese and butter, which I had to dispose of, costing me money in waste, and then having to replace those items which cost me more. This lovely saga lasted over 1-year in the making and it wasnt pretty, as I had to do this every 3-months. When I contacted this lovely and caring company, I was told to wash down my fridge. Hahaha! Now thats funny! I reported to this expertise person filled with much knowledge and wisdom, that this was exactly what I had done. Then her reply was, it takes time and itll go away. Another bout of uncontrollable laughter in asking her, what if it doesnt go away, then what? Only to be told again by this person of much esteem, then call us back. OK, as if my calling is going to be opening their deaf ears, NOT! Now moving on to my wonderful and functional ice maker, which when my fridge was installed, the ice maker wasnt even hooked up due to our older home not having any water hookup for a refrigerator that had an ice maker. So the installer, turned that option off as we didnt use it. So in the 7 years in which weve had our disaster of a fridge with all of its sought after imperfections, were still experiencing problems with the ice maker. This problem has now been addressed 3 times, with a repairman coming out doing his magical diagnostic check to say it was our ice maker programmed in indicating that there is a problem. What kind of a problem you asked, well, its programmed of course with all of its electronic components saying that there is an ice issue and leaking. NOT! So this lovely costly $100 gadget of necessity had to be replaced, why, well its because of the way Samsung designs their appliances causing for them to react in indicating something that isnt. But in order for my fridge to work, I had to pay for it as it was out of warranty. How lovely and kind is Samsung to do that in their designing and corruptible computer technology to showcase this error of DECEIT. So it was done and I had thought over, but once again, the fun and love of this fridge is expressing itself all over again, and less than one year after it was supposedly been fixed and not to do it again. Yeah, right! So this time Mr. Mechanic, Man of Genius (another repairman) comes out and swiftly removes the ice maker saying that it wasnt needed and therefore I didnt need for it to be there. No charge this time, saying it was a courtesy call. And after 3 months, surprised! I know, your hearts must be breaking by now. So once again a call was made and several people spoken with, all whom didnt know what was said nor documented from the others, so I had to repeat everything over and over; my patience was low and running thin by now. So finally a service call was made by a company who would call me to confirm within the week regarding an ice maker that was removed and yet there was still a problem. The company called, the serviceman and I talked, only to find out that what Samsung had told him was nothing that I had said that I needed help on. They told him that I had a water leak, when I had an ice maker that was removed and the code were showing that I had a water leak coming from my ice maker that was previously removed. The serviceman suggested I call them back to report this, as there was no reason for him to come out for something that doesnt exist. The call was made, I had talked to 4 people and was told someone would be contacting me (this was in May of this year 2018). And yet at this time no one has contacted me on scheduling anyone to assist me, and my fridge is still the same as it was before where you have no option in controlling your refrigerators temperature, and its not as cold as it should be where numerous items of food had to be removed and thrown away. So now what? Let this vicious, but yet lovely and caring company who jumps hoops and swims the ocean, climbs the highest mountains and deals with volcanoes just to make sure that their appliances will be serviced well and proper, leaving you with a sense of relief and comfort, and cold foods. Wow! Guess Im in good hands after all; and here I thought Jack the Ripper was bad.

Dishwasher cleans great, but after it was hooked up for a couple months one
Dishwasher cleans great, but after it was hooked up for a couple months one day the dishes did not come out clean. (I must say right off the bat that the dishwasher was in place for a year before it was hooked up so, although it had not been unwrapped, the warranty was up before the problem started.) Thought there might be dirt or something caught in the bottom under the screen. Took the screen and spin wheel thing off to clean it and found the problem was a small bit of plastic from the top rack had broken off and was stopping the little wheel from spinning the arms the water comes out of. Thought it may have broken because I had moved the top rack up to accommodate a tall item. Did not move the top rack again after that, but a month later, had the exact same problem caused by another bit of plastic broken off the rack. It is very annoying since there are 13 or 14 long screws that have to be removed to fix it. Would hate to be paying a repair person every time this happened! Seems awfully cheap production to have the racks falling apart and causing the dishwasher to stop working!
