Problems from the start and are with both ovens either separate or together
Problems from the start and are with both ovens either separate or together in convection. After 4 visits and some part changes, there is no change. I did a few extensive digital and analog temperature tests to document that: 1) The initial at temperature beep is usually close but then over time, the temp drifts down to over 100 degrees F below where it should be. 2) When I restart the oven because its too cool, the oven display confirms the low temperature I measured. 3) As the oven restart, the convection fan or fans blow such hot air the food in the middle of the oven that the food is burnt to black while food not in the center or on different racks is not burnt. 4) The restart temperature once the beep sounds is accurate. 5) The convection fans are always blowing the hottest air straight out the middle. Not circulating the air around or reversing fan direction once and a while. So a blowtorch on food in the middle of the oven. From reading web forums, cnet in particular, seems like all of these Samsung ovens do pretty much the same thing. Seems like a programming problem in the firmware. Resolution is under review by Samsung. But do I even want another fix or a replacement? No. I want a refund and Ill buy a different brand.

We bought a Samsung over the range microwave and paid nearly $500 for it. It worked well for a couple of years and then all of the sudden started turning on by itself. Not just the light or the turntable, but it was actually heating as well! Thankfully we were home when it started happening so we were able to prevent what Im sure would have been a major fire. Checked Samsung support site and apparently this is a known and rather common problem with their microwaves, with the only apparent fix being unplug the unit immediately and pay for someone (from your own pocket) to come and fix it. Unfortunately companies as large as Samsung have no interest in dealing with issues like this until someone dies, so recommend NOT buying a Samsung microwave unless you have fire insurance and are hardly ever home.

I and my family are extremely disappointed with a Samsung product (DMR78 Dishwasher). We bought it three years ago and it already stopped working. When asked for support, I was told that a defective part will be provided under warranty, but I should pay for labor to install it. On top of labor, Samsung wants to charge $100 for a service call. This is really bad! This is Samsungs fault, that a relatively new product stopped working (an old GE model worked in our kitchen for 10+ years without a glitch, before we replaced it with DMR). Now, Samsung wants to charge this ridiculous service call charge of $100 on top of the $80 for labor? The total $180 fee for our choice of this product? That’s a very disappointing way to treat your customers, Samsung USA!

I will never buy another Samsung product again! The high-end dishwasher stopped working after three months! They gave us a run-around about the warranty. They tried to say it was an electrical issue and would not send a repair person out until we hired an electrician. The electrician we hired verified it was a bad control panel and not our fault. They finally sent out someone and they confirmed. They were supposed to come back in two weeks to install the new part. We have called over 20 times and Samsung does not return phone calls and claim they will help and then do not respond. They have horrible customer service. We were warned that they never stand behind their warranties, but we bought anyway. Big mistake on our part! We will never buy Samsung again! Please do not make the same mistake we did!

Ice maker & water dispenser have caused unspeakable frustration: We paid a premium for matching upper end appliances including the Samsung refrigerator which has caused my wife and I unspeakable frustration from the first year we purchased it. We love ice tea with ice and thought we bought a high end refrigerator that would allow us to have ice for our ice tea at the touch of a button. But that has certainly NOT been the case! The ice maker does not produce ice due to internal parts freezing up. This problem started within the first year we purchased it and after $100s in repair costs and uncountable hours spend thawing efforts, the same thing keeps happening over and over no matter how dry I get it. Besides freezing up, the motor has always made a loud noise which my wife cant stand and our guests ask what is that noise? Additionally, I had to spend $200 on a countertop ice maker because our $3,000 Samsung ice maker does not work. I hate to sell it to anyone else so we are stuck with it and dont know what to do with the piece of junk! Since Samsung knows that they sold me a design flawed product, I think they should replace my refrigerator ASAP.

Bought in April of 2010. The display broke and had to be replaced. Two of the adjustable milk holders had to be replaced. They cracked and filled with moisture. Then this year, it started making loud humming and grinding noises. The Samsung repairman was here twice and said he couldnt open the drain. So water keeps accumulating under the drawer and leaks down on the fans and they hum and grind. It is so loud it wakes us up at night. I cant even have company without having to go outside. OK, when the ice maker drops ice, that may be a little louder. My last refrigerator was a Westinghouse and it was over 13 years old and still worked. Boy did I make a mistake with this one.

Samsung Twin cooling plus. My fan in my refrigerator (Model #RFG297HDRS) started making noise and then stopped working all together on my refrigerator that is only 2 years old. Bought all new Samsung appliances when we built our house. Stove worked well at first. Liked the rapid boil burner. Right after the extended Lowes warranty expired, the rapid boil burner would go crazy. It was insanely hot no matter what temp you set it on. Burned everything youd try to cook on it. Found the problem, replaced the part. Less than a year later both front burners are doing the same thing. Also used the self-clean oven, enamel came off very badly. Its so damaged I couldnt use it. Top and bottom of the oven look like someone took a grinder to it. Deep gashes. Flaking off. Since its on the top it falls into your food. Noticed today as we were pulling it out to replace with a new range, oven actually has a hole in the bottom. Very expensive Samsung fridge is already starting to freeze items in the back of the fridge. Will never purchase another Samsung appliance. Great TVs, horrible appliances.

I am reluctant to call repair person because it is ridiculously expensive. I hate this appliance. They were recommended by consumer reports. They need to look at it again. Samsung has continued to produce a defective ice maker for more than 10 years. The unit clogs up with frost & ice that prevents the unit from working. The plastic components including the ice bin and auger are very thin and developed cracks soon after use. Repeated calls to Samsung customer service do not solve the problem, they will charge you for a service call, but the expensive repairs do not fix the problem. A class action lawsuit remains open and unresolved. In the meantime user have to use a hair dryer between once a week to once a month to melt out the ice jam in the top of the unit. Samsung refuses to stand behind their product, and even worse continues to manufacture it.

Same problem happened a month ago, the technician came and broke the ice and change the parts. It is OK for one week and I called again and he said I will send request to replace it. Then I called they said we will send another technician and he didnt know how to fix it and I am still waiting without fridge and I have to eat every day outside. I purchased a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and stove from Lowes in Baton Rouge Millerville location. The fridge had hole in water line to ice maker. The stove made noises. The rollers on top tray of dishwasher fell off. When I say junk its harsh but that is exactly what it is. Lowes sent another fridge and its making noises. On top of their products being junk they had a promotion going on at the time I bought the appliance which I purchased all four at once. Thirty-two hundred dollars worth to mail in recipes and we would receive a free 32 inch Samsung tv. I received a letter back stating that we did not meet the criteria to receive the television. Wow not surprised. I contacted Lowes for their help and reached dead end after dead end. I can truly say this, Their appliances are junk and I will never buy any of their products.

Now I’m being told not till the end of October are they expecting the part. Do yourself a favor DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG DISHWASHERS. I was even told by the repairman they should just stick with TV’s.

It absolutely amazes me that SAMSUNG thinks it is okay for a 4 year old microwave to come on anytime the door is opened. Anyone else see a problem that this is dangerous to our children whom did not realize it was not working properly, so they stuck their hand in the microwave to lay the food on the turntable - all the while the microwave was operating - WITH THE DOOR OPEN??? I have a ticket number, a chat ID number and 2 phone calls from ** from their escalation team. Each of these encounters with their support team showed no concerns nor did they think they were responsible or liable for anything, they will NOT fix my microwave. So, for now I am using my 15 year old Sharp microwave in my garage. I replaced the keypad after 2 years because if you boiled anything on the right side of your stove the vent is not adequate enough nor is the keypad waterproofed so the condensation gets in and shorts it out. The repairman informed me Samsung had since figured this out on the next years model and corrected it, but did they repair my keypad? NO! I suppose I shouldve known better than to think they would care that my microwave comes on as soon as anyone opens the door, they were not concerned in the least! Guess my new 60 inch TV will be a Panasonic, that definitely changed my mind.

I have had this Fridge for about 6 years and it a world class piece of junk. The Temp sensor for the fridge defrost went bad and I Successfully fixed that myself with a $5 part. Now the freezer compartment has been icing as well. The same temp sensor replacement did not however solve the icing problem there. I have taken apart the back panel of the freezer to defrost about three times now. A Sears repairman had a brief look and told me it was most likely a bad temp sensor OR a bad Thermal Fuse. I will try the thermal fuse next. Now, something else has developed. The freezer is not cooling properly even though it has been manually defrosted just two days ago. I do not recommend Samsung as a fridge. It looks nice but has given me lots of problems.

Since this is an over the range model, built in my remodeled kitchen, Im stuck with this piece of crap! To make matters worse, we are also experiencing problems with their refrigerator (purchased at the same time as the microwave) and their Smart TV, purchased in July 2012. Come out cubes and crushed together, water works sporadically. Repairman been here twice, still not repaired. Water filter leaked, flooded kitchen floor. Apparently you have to move the refrigerator out and turn water off at back each time you change filter (never had another refrigerator that required that). Repairman could not roll out because the rollers on bottom of fridge have gone flat and will not roll so requires dolly to move each time you change filter. PIECE OF JUNK!!! I contacted the place of purchase and they replaced the range with the same model. I dont cook much and within a couple of weeks, I was once again trying to get rid of the marks on the range top. I used the cleaning product recommended, but it didnt do anything as far as making the top cleaner looking. I contacted the purchaser who couldnt do anything because it was more than 30 days after the purchase date. It was suggested that I contact Samsung. I did and was on the phone with them for over 60 minutes trying to get the range returned and replaced with a new model. Samsung transferred me 3 times. Bottom line is it is a cosmetic issue and they will service it but not replace the defective range. The range is listed as a single product and doesnt advertise it as the best cosmetic range, but the BEST stainless steel electric range. I ran into 2 other customers who had the same problem. Do you think there is a problem with the way the smooth top is manufactured? I would NEVER recommend a Samsung product to anyone. Apparently Samsung is not worried about customer satisfaction. We purchased Samsung Model RS277AC April 2010 for $1500.00. July 2014 the bottom freezer drawer was hard to pull out and we realized it was stuck by a build up of ice under it. Service man told us he knew what the problem was when we told him about the bottom drawer frozen to bottom. Charged $149.00 for a 5 minute visit. He would have to order the heater element and it would cost $30. He said that the heater element touches the inside of the back panel and this will happen again because of a design flaw with the back panel and Samsung has corrected it on the new models! Came back with the heater and said did not need it and defrosted the freezer, put it back together and charged us another $45.00 and within three hours there was a build up of ice in the bottom of the freezer so we cannot use the drawer for storage. Then this week, same thing is happening. Called Samsung and they said someone would get back to me to schedule a repair. They contacted me 48 hours later, and tell me a repair person will be here in over a week. I see so many bad reviews reports... Why doesnt something happen with making Samsung do something about these similar issues???

We bought our 4-door Samsung refrigerator model # RF428 from Sears in Feb 2013. Feb 2014, it started leaking water. It was so bad that we had to have towels around the fridge and change them a couple times a day. Scheduled the repair service, however, the repairman couldnt figure out what the problem was. They called Samsung and they have a problem with these models with the water filter housing unit. He ordered the part and scheduled another service call to install the part a week later. In the meantime, my floor is completely ruined from all the water leakage. It will have to be torn up and completely redone.

I would say Samsung makes a high quality refrigerator that I can trust this brand. I never have any problem with Samsungs refrigerator, temperature, frozen foods, ice-cream, vegetables, beverages. Im able to store them in the fridge without any worries. After being used for like a little over a year, the fridge still works like the first day that I purchased it. Performance and quality both still work perfectly.

Holy **! You spend nearly $3,000 on a refrigerator, and 2 months outside of the standard 12-month warranty, the display goes out. 2 months? Really. The fact that they dont have enough faith in their own products to warranty a $2,800 unit for 24 months is ludicrous. I wish I would have read these comments beforehand. Samsung Microwave model no SMH9151STE - I received the SE Error for the first time a week ago or so and followed the instructions provided to clear the error so that the microwave can function again. Unplugging did reset and clear the SE error only for about 12 hours and then it came back again. I called Samsung and discovered that my warranty had expired. The microwave is under 2 years old. The angering part is that it took the very nice repairman about 15 to 20 minutes total to switch out the part and correct the issue. The total cost of the part was $33.61. I was charged $135 plus tax for about 20 minutes of labor. This seems like a common error and since this is the case, why doesnt Samsung provide some sort of discount since their product is defective? Samsung should stand behind their products and offer customers experiencing the SE error some sort of discount or no charge for 20 minutes of labor!

After 6 months the ice maker would not give whole cubes. This got progressively worse until all I got was crushed ice. Samsung replaced Ice Maker but, again, problem came back. By now refrigerator was out of warranty and Samsung would not do anything! This is probably design defect as so many others have same problem and Samsung cannot correct it. In addition. I also have spot about 3/4 in. long below ice maker where the paint is coming off and, again, Samsung says its cosmetic and not covered. I guess it doesnt bother the company how the product looks and works after theyve made the sale! My recourse is not to buy their products nor recommend them.

However, to save money, I think we are going to order a new convection fan on Repairclinic.com for $40 and install it ourselves after we watch a Youtube video. We are very disappointed! Also, we had issues with the oven taking more than 10 minutes to heat and also had issues with condensation and dirt between the door after a self-cleaning. Purchased washer (Model dw80f600uts) as part of a new kitchen package in May of 2014. From the beginning the unit never cleaned the dishes well, always left food particles caked on to the dishes. After a few weeks it also started to smell. About 2 months after installation started to have problems with soap not dissolving. After a lengthy complaint to Leons I was able to get a technician. He put in a new soap dispenser and advised me to run the hot water before running the dishwasher. This seemed to help, but the dishwasher still did a poor job cleaning.Fast forward 7 months and now the unit stops mid-cycle and fails to finish (apparently the water temperature might be too hot now, ironic!). I have called Samsung and begun the process of getting a technician to come to my house to fix it. Of course, this will only prolong the inevitable; this is a terrible dishwasher and I will have to replace it once the warranty is up in May 2015, since there is no way I am putting any more money into this machine. I would put Samsungs customer service in the same category as their dishwasher. Im pretty sure their main goal is to delay you long enough until the warranty has expired. Their solutions to problems are also a treat. Originally I was told to check the water pressure of my house, and if necessary, have it adjusted so that the dishwasher would run better. Not really sure how one goes about checking water pressure, much less adjusting it.

Samsung referred us to Service Quick to repair it. The serviceman told us the ice maker will need to be replaced and to fix the fridge he will need a sensor. I bought model RF28JBEDBSG less than 2 and a half years ago. For paying over $2000, you would think its going to be an excellent appliance. Since day one, we hated the ice maker. Barely makes any ice. But little by little the ice maker freezes up and the ice blocked up. So we started buying bagged ice. So to fix it, we unload the refrigerator and let the ice melt so we can get into the ice machine to remove the ice. This has happened multiple times even Christmas eve dinner. So I researched the problem and realized there are thousands of people with the same problem along with a class action lawsuit for the same issue Im having. Then someone mentioned the temperature not regulating properly. So I got a thermometer and seen that I have it set for 34 degrees and the temp inside was 20 to 44 degrees that I have seen with my own eyes. Over 40 degrees is unsafe for food. They are giving some people a horrible time getting a fix or even a refund. DONT BUY!!!!

I am stunned and disappointed to find that our problems with this refrigera
I am stunned and disappointed to find that our problems with this refrigerator (no cooling in the freezer or the fridge, alternatively or simultaneously, water accumulating in one of the produce bins) are actually very widespread. Worse still, we had purchased TWO of these duds before the problems began. We bought our first RF217 in September 2010 (#1), and the second one for our weekend house in July 2012 (#2). Almost immediately after buying #1, I noticed a small amount of water in the right-hand-side produce bin, which would accumulate over about a week (on average) to the point of requiring removal and emptying of the drawer. I didnt think much about it at first, believing I just needed to make some adjustment.Within 3 months of buying #2, we came home from a weekend in the country to find that the FREEZER (and only the freezer) of #1 (which was two years old and out of warranty by then) had stopped working while we were away, and heated to approximately 50 degrees. We called Samsung and went through a troubleshooting sequence, but nothing worked and they referred us to outside service people. We were surprised by the reluctance on the part of the repair people to work on it; we had to call three different ones before one was willing to come out. THREE visits over three weeks later, we finally had a fully working refrigerator again, and the water accumulation in the bin had stopped. In the winter of 2012 (only 6 months after buying it), I noticed one morning that #2 seemed warm when I opened it, even though the digital display showed the temperature at which I had set it. I remembered the trick the repair people had taught me, which was to unplug the unit and plug it back in to get an ACTUAL reading of the temperatures in the fridge and freezer; they were in 50ish and 25ish respectively. As I waited for Lowes (where we had purchased #2 along with an extended service plan) to open so that I could call them for help, I heard the refrigerator come back on. This went on two more times over that weekend, so we emptied out the unit before leaving. This happened again with #2 while we were at the house, and we have no way of knowing how often it has happened since. Now, #1 is doing the same thing. The refrigerator is warm; when I unplugged it and plugged it back in, the digital display read 63 and 27 for the fridge and freezer respectively. After about an hour, I heard the motor start again and the temperatures are back to normal. At this point, we have lost all faith in this refrigerator and the ability to repair it, so we are going out to buy a new one. I am completely horrified to find that stores are still selling it, and deeply disgusted with the fact that Samsung is not acknowledging that there is a problem.I am not sure that my words can convey the utter disgust my husband and I feel with respect to Samsung as a company. We will never buy anything they make, ever again, and we say so to anyone with whom the conversation arises.

My complaint no. **. Samsung refrigerator broke down after just 1.5 years in service. When you call the customer care they happily say that your warranty has expired and inform that you have to pay INR 400 for the service engineer to visit and analyze the fault first. And imagine the pain when you have to hear one service engineer tells you that the coil is spoilt and gas is leaking, and that you have to pay INR 4000 to rectify these, for a product you paid INR 14000 just 1.5 years back. Over and above this, they say they have no backup spares and it will take 6 days to get it from Delhi (!) in India in a hot and humid climate. Imagine how to manage food without cooling options at home? The call centre is pathetic... Pls. dont buy Samsung home appliances. That customer care execs are sweet spoken, and will speak a lot of Hindi and English but are unable to provide a solution. In spite of making daily calls and telling them that I cannot afford to wait for 6 days, they will make empty promises that they will resolve this as soon as possible but its just a formality and they make no attempts to solve your problems... Your product fails within 1.5 years of purchase. It takes 6 to 7 days for spares to be available. It costs 30% of the product basic price to repair your product just within 1.5 years of purchase. Over and above imagine the pain and agony customer has to go through because there is no cooling option for food at home. At this rate I could have easily purchased a fridge from a roadside vendor who would have given better services than Samsung at half the rate. Give me 1 reason why should customer buy Samsung product for double the rate for such pathetic services. Now you know why Samsung’s mobile phone business is suffering. I am pretty confident their appliances division will be meet the same fate…

My kitchen was in desperate need of a makeover so I decided to purchase all new products from Sears and selected Samsung. I so wish that I would have checked with Consumer Affairs first before purchasing (3) Samsung products in 2013 - all of which have had issues. I purchased a double door black refrigerator, a black microwave as well as a black gas range. My refrigerator from day one has had issues with the ice maker not making ice and the refrigerator temperature not working properly. The worst product of all was the microwave oven that caught fire while I granddaughter was cooking a hotdog on a paper plate. The plate caught on fire. There were sparks and flames literally shooting from the microwave. I didnt purchase the extended warranty on the microwave because my experience with good microwaves is that they simply stop working after about 6-7 years. They dont catch on fire! I paid $329 for the microwave and Samsung wanted to charge me $325 for the repairs and continue to give me the run around. The matter is still not resolved. So if you are reading this review... save yourself the trouble. Please do not purchase any Samsung product!

We had 1-year manufacturer warranty and 60 months protection plan from Home Depot; however, in this specific issue it was a little difficult to notice the problem since it was on the backside of the refrigerator and as you know how many people go and look at the backside of the refrigerator once its install. JUST DONT Buy ANY Samsung Appliances. If you are even considering buying any Samsung Appliance, find the FB Samsung Refrig Recall page & read reports from all the unhappy Samsung Appliance owners. Sadly I have recently joined that large & unhappy group of ~$2500 Samsung Refrig owners that now dont have a working ice-maker due to a defect & Samsung has no workable solution to repair it... Oh, & if you even lightly brush against the stove controls the knobs turn on... The Microwave sounds like a Jet plane... etc... etc... So JUST DONT...

I have just spent the last half hour reading comments on good old Samsung Refrigerator. I have had a problem for the past year and now comes a time. Where do I start? Whats the cost? The digital front settings are being controlled by a ghost; bounces from ice to water, doesnt stop. Cost? Water on the floor. Ice built up on the back of the fridge really thick and water steady on the bottom of the drawers. Cost? Any advice besides throw it to the curb like people have said? Nice fridge; but really, how much money does an average person need to fix repairs? I was going to try and tackle project by myself but will it work or continue the hair dryer every couple of months thawing it out and putting up with dings on the front panel deciding what it wants to do? Any suggestions? Obviously not after reading the reviews. Would never recommend Samsung to anyone. Bad, bad choice I am just fed up with this problem. Thanks Samsung for the Lemon.

We bought a house and put all Samsung appliances, Refrigerator top off the line, Dishwasher also top of the line, microwave. Since day one we have had leaking issues, logged several calls to the Samsung services department, most of the time they would tell us how to get the LC to stop but not fix the issue. Now that the Warranty has expired (1year Warranty) they send out a Tech and want $350 to fix a known leaking issue. They even have a special kit just for this issue. WHAT you put out a defective product on the market and don’t take care of your customer that bought it. Well just like the phone and batteries issues I guess.

Where do I start? We purchased this refrigerator (4 Door Model RF23J9011SR) at the end of Dec. 2016. Within 7 months we had problems with the ice maker inside the refrigerator. No ice would dispense, all frozen up inside. Samsung replaced all of the ice maker parts except the cube box. Well it worked long enough to get past its warranty, then it failed again. The second time I could not even pull the ice maker drawer out. As it turns out the parts they replace were the old style original ones that were defective. He replaced all of the parts with the new Samsung updated parts, at a cost of 328 dollars to me. I paid then called Samsung. After almost an hour on the phone they agreed to give me a one time warranty extension. While the second tech was here I told him that the refrigerator seemed warm, and the thermometer I had in it said 48 degrees... Clearly not 34 like stated on the door display. He tried to tell me that my new refrigerator thermometer was not accurate (brand new, only days old) and that I had a tear in the door seal. I would call it a small slice. He said it wasn’t cooling because the tear (less than 3/8 of an inch) was letting warm air in. It needed a new door seal, Ok. I said, Replace it. Then he said he had to order it and come out in a couple days. Came out, put the new seal on the refrigerator, still was at 48-50 degrees. It wasn’t the problem. Called again for service. Tech came out, spent almost two hours here trying to figure out why the top refrigerator wasnt getting cold. Turned out the compressor and all of the Freon lines are bad, they all needed replacing. He informed me it was a 3 hour job and that another tech would be out in 2 days.I still have no upper refrigerator. The whole process has reached week three. I called Samsung and demanded a new refrigerator replacement...they said no (no surprise) and that I had to have the tech do the compressor and Freon line repairs. Because the parts had been ordered, the guy just left 10 mins. ago. Keep in mind that my refrigerator isn’t even two years old... Wow I sure am excited about its future and what I can expect. In closing...DONT EVER BUY ANY SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR!! It’s like an Edsel. It looked good but wasn’t all that great of a car. What you read online is true, they are JUNK!!! Samsung customer service is a joke all yes and good and feel real sorry for you. They have heard it all before and could really care less once the great one warranty has expired. One year warranty on a almost 3,000 dollar counter depth refrigerator. SHAME ON YOU SAMSUNG!

The ice maker either doesnt work. Purchased in 2/2014. We paid for a 5 yrs extended warranty. Since purchase we have had nine repair visits. We have spoken to supervisors, case managers, etc. they have given authorization to either replace entire ice maker or entire refrigerator. However, after each attempted repair it continues not to work. This is our second attempt to contact Consumer Affairs. Our next step is contacting KCRA channel 3 consumer advocacy. Will you be replacing the refrigerator.

As the previous 150 purchasers of the OTC Samsung SMH9187SW Microwave, I purchased mine 12/2011, and it has stopped working 2/2013. Since it is out of warranty, I didnt even bother to contact Samsung because Ive had mine for 26 months and knew that if I wanted a Samsung certified repair person, it would cost more than the original price. I live in the San Francisco Bay area so I found a repairman with 135 5 STAR reviews. I told him my problem and he said he stopped working on microwaves because it was cheaper for customers to replace them. He also said he did not know of anyone that he could honestly recommend. So I found this site and followed the advice of the few people that were able to get theirs up and running. Unfortunately, none of the suggestions helped; I tried unplugging the unit, pushing clear and start simultaneously and finally unplugging and resetting the blue and white plugs on the control panel.I had thought of buying a different microwave except for the fact there is not one single microwave under $1,000 with a customer rating above 2 stars. Even the Best Buy rated microwaves in Consumer Reports, Epinions, Amazon, etc. didnt receive positive reviews from the actual consumers. So now I am going to order the control panel (not from Samsung directly) and install it myself. I dont see any other option since I dont want the expense of another microwave plus installation and then worry that another problem will occur no matter what brand I buy. My 1st OTC microwave lasted 20 years, the 2nd for 10 years and now 2 years! I most definitely would like to be involved in a class action suit. One interesting side note: Consumer Reports still list Samsung in the top 4. From now on, Im going to the actual user reviews listed at the bottom of the rating page!

My husband and I purchased this Samsung clunker in 2011. It is bottom freezer type as I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and could no longer manage bending to reach contents. About four months ago, I noticed that the milk was not cold enough to suit me and thus began our ordeal. I can cut out a lot of detail, as it is so very similar to all the other cases, but it concerns the freezing up of the motor and fan in the back. This does not affect the freezer, in our case. The end result so far, (we have another part and new repair company coming in three days), is, after many repair calls, the thing sounds like a B29, but does nothing. I believe, with all my heart, that nothing will come of the new part, and we will be back in the same mess within a few weeks. The ringerreally was something that happened early on. I found a guy on YouTube who made a video showing how to take off the back and defrost the darn thing with a hair dryer! I dont understand, though I know nothing about how to proceed with this myself, why this problem is not cause for a class action lawsuit. Samsung seems to be getting away with murder.

We bought a model NE58H9950WS chefs collection slide in range in early 2015. It belongs in a museum, not a kitchen because it looks beautiful but is useless. Preheat the oven to 425*, put a tray of cold food in and an hour later food is still uncooked and temperature is down to 300*. Tried to cook a frozen lasagna that was supposed to take 1 hour at 350 and after 2.5 hours was still cold in the middle. If you cook something like cookies or a pizza it is OK because they have so little mass they dont soak up the heat but anything that weighs more than a couple of pounds simply overwhelms the ovens ability to reheat.Samsung made 2 service calls under warranty and the replaced everything but the problem persists to this day. I noticed they have discontinued this model and taken down all of the negative reviews but the issue of their ovens not holding temperature is not limited just to this model. There are countless other reviews mentioning the exact same issue. Samsung even tries to disclaim the warranty of merchantability in their paperwork, which is a joke since it basically says they can make an oven that doesnt work and theres nothing you can do about it.I would urge anyone to avoid SAMSUNG products. There is a reason they are rated 23rd out of 23 brands on this site for ranges and stoves. It is because their products are junk. I have filed suit in small claims court (fortunately my state has limits on the warranty disclaimers which invalidate it) and will be getting my money back one way or another. Then I will buy another brand of range. This one costs $2500 and doesnt cook food!

Today Im following YouTube info but getting stuck on the removal of the lower evaporator cover in the icebox drawer. To do a repair by the way you need Philips Screwdriver and a 10 mm socket wrench (for drawer bolts, could just use a shifting spanner). Ill update later with some images...

I am very disappointed with my Samsung SMH9207ST over the range microwave. This microwave was purchased along with a Samsung Range, and Refrigerator as we upgraded all of our appliances to stainless. We have not been happy with any appliances especially the Microwave and Range. The microwave has had many problems and now is displaying an error SE and wont work. We have tried to shut it off at the circuit breaker to correct the error. But, that didnt correct the problem. Samsung does NOT stand behind the problem. It seems that these products are designed to only last to the end of the warranty. Nothing beyond. Luckily our dishwasher was not a Samsung and we love it. Bottom line - dont buy Samsung if unless you want disposable appliances. I have never encounter the multiple problems that we have with these.

I purchased this refrigerator from Home Depot on September 3 2017. It quit working on August 20, 2018. It still has the Samsung factory warranty. They sent a repair person to fix it on September 11, 2018. They had the wrong parts and could not get the right parts. Samsung agreed to replace the refrigerator on September 12, 2018. It is now October 5, 2018 and I still have no refrigerator. Samsung has the absolute worst customer service on the planet. I truly dont know how they stay in business. I asked for a refund so I can buy an American made refrigerator. Still no answer. Home Depot has done everything they can and are no further in the negotiation process with them than I am. October 2016 I bought a 4 door Samsung stainless steel refrigerator (model #RF22K9381SR/AA) from Lowe’s. The panel on the door below the icemaker/water dispenser has terrible water stains that will not come off with any recommended product by Samsung. When I complained to Samsung they sent out a technician to see it. The technician said there was a possibility that it developed a leak behind the door panel and he took a picture and said Samsung will be reviewing it.I then got a call from Samsung saying its not their problem because they are not responsible for cosmetic damage. Stainless is not suppose to stain with obvious water marks. I believe there is some defect with the refrigerator ice maker/water dispenser and/or that the stainless steel product they used is of inferior quality. I am very dissatisfied with my $3,0000 purchase of this refrigerator and am wondering if I can take Samsung to small claims court. I do not recommend purchasing Samsung refrigerators.

DWF800A (DW80F600UTS) - I bought a brand new stainless steel dishwasher by Samsung on 5th September. It did not work out of the box. I contacted Samsung and they arranged for a technician to call me back. A week later, the technician called and arranged to visit and check it out in a few weeks time. On the arranged day, the technician called to say he wouldnt be out as the parts hadnt arrived. Another week later he called again to arrange a visit - another week later. Eventually, the technician called, replaced the sensors and circuit board and declared that it should be ok hopefully. The dishwasher worked for one wash, then went back to the exact same fault - not emptying. We called the technician back and he said it would be at least 3 weeks before he could call again. Its now 2 months since we received this piece of junk, so I called Samsung again. After 20 minutes on the phone with customer service, they escalated to Executive customer service. After 20 minutes with them, where I asked for it to be replaced or refunded, as it wasnt fit for purpose, I was told that I would just have to wait for the technician to call again. So Samsung are more than happy that I have a non-working Samsung product, have had to take 3 days holidays to wait for their technician and am out of pocket for almost $1000 for a piece of ** not-fit-for-purpose junk for 3 months.I have a house full of Samsung products, from cell phones and TVs to all of the major household appliances. Well Samsung, let me tell you I have gone from being a big Samsung fan to a total hater of Samsung - I will not be replacing any product with another Samsung, due to this shoddy treatment. Please do yourself a favour - dont buy this piece of junk. I will update in another months time, when the technician has had another go at fixing this POS.

The freezer side of my side by side refrigerator/freezer started making a really weird electronic vibration-like noise. I finally emptied my ice maker and the shelving and saw that the ventilation vents in the back of the freezer were frozen shut. I imagine that the interior of the fan area was also frozen, so I had to empty the freezer and unplug the refrigerator and let the freezer side thaw to room temp so that the vents would thaw and allow the fan blades to turn without obstruction. I did not have the energy saver mode on. The ice in the ice makers was snow and the snow had drifted outside the container box and down the back of the ice maker as well. I lost a whole day thawing the freezer and cleaning up melting ice. I am hoping that the thaw process will mean that there is no permanent damage to my 1.5 yr old unit, but a new unit like this should not be causing me issues like this. I had my old fridge for 25 years with no issues like this one.

I bought a Refrigerator from Bismi, a leading dealer in Kochi for Samsung Products on Feb 20 2014. Attached the bill copy. Unfortunately, the product stops working just after the warranty period over. I contacted customer care, they took the fridge to their service center. After that, there is no information regarding the product. I had contacted the guy who took the fridge several time but I did not get any updates. So I used the chat facility and report the problem, after that I got a call from the CC and said that it is the problem with the freezer component and will take another 7 days to get the part. After raising the same complaint through this email portal, I got a call from the Samsung Head office and the person assures me that technical difficulty of availing the part for replacement and he told me he will update the status eventually and resolve as early as possible. Also he assures a standby refrigerator if he failed to deliver the product before 1st May 2015. But still after the call I did not get any information or updates from Samsung side. It is difficult to manage city life without refrigerator. Moreover I had a 18 month old kid and no one is in my home to get the daily eatables from the market as we are working daily for more than 10 hours. Please let me know whether I had to go for a new one or how long I had to wait for the product to get back. This is the letter I had sent to Samsung authorities, CEO, etc but no use. Today I got back my Fridge with a bill of Rs 3800/- INR.

Bought this Samsung model #DW80H9930US dishwasher 8 months ago. The piece of crap starting leaking on its third use and has never stopped. The dishwasher leaks from the doors and seems beneath the door. It has never latched properly so that when if and when it ever reaches a steam cycle without human intervention, the steam escapes from the top of the dishwasher and soaks the entire counter top which then drips to the floor too. Sometimes, I would excited because I only had to intervene with the door twice during a cycle to ensure washing completion. 8 months later, I have to re-latch the door six times to complete the cycle while the dishwasher pisses all over the floor. Ive had Samsung out two times already to fix this never ending problem to no avail and I am working on my third time now.Getting in touch with someone to speak with at Samsung who can get me to the right person to fix the damn thing is a nightmare. After speaking with at least two people who I have to repeatedly ask to repeat themselves because of thick middle eastern accents, I am then told to email all of my proof of purchase receipts to an unnamed department without any point of contact information, whom I am told will get back to me within 24 hours. It then goes from 24 hours to 48 hours (as told by the third person with an accent). When I clarify with her that in two days I should be receiving a call, she tells me that its 48 BUSINESS HOURS! So I now have to wait another week before I even get a call back to tell me they have verified I made the purchase legitimately.So... I email my proof of purchase to a totally different group of people (apart from the customer service reps with accents) and they get back with me about 17 hours later, with an e-mail telling me I need to upload the documents instead of emailing the documents; more time wasted. This is Samsung!!! And when they call me back about four days later, with a blessing stating they believe I made the purchase, they call a company in California who contracts with repairmen in my state who will eventually come to my house to look at the leaking monstrosity. And if they dont get it fixed on that visit, I have to start the process over again. I am disgusted with Samsung and will never. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG APPLIANCES. There is a class action lawsuit with their washing machines right now. I am surprised there is not a class action for the dishwashers. Anyone know a good torte attorney???
