After less than three years our Samsung Refrigeration top has slowly gotten warmer and warmer. Samsung Phone support said level the refrigerator and that may fix it. Well that was way off. Didnt purchase the warranty, a big mistake. Samsung brand is Mud for me. The Technician said he is seeing many Samsung Refrigerators with this defrost thermostat issue. These Samsung refrigerators should be on re-call for this obvious defect. Do not buy Samsung!

This dishwasher is awful. It needs to be repaired once a year. It really doesnt wash the dishes very well. You have to wash everything before it goes into the dishwasher. It has many features but it runs way too long (3 hrs.) & you cant turn off the dry cycle. Regular size dishwasher. Its stainless steel & very attractive, but it doesnt wash well so who cares how nice it looks. Fortunately I have an extended warranty. If I didnt, I would have replaced this dishwasher by now.

After 1.5 years from purchasing my Samsung refrigerator the coils started frosting over which caused both icemakers to stop producing ice. I defrosted it several times by removing the freezer interior panel and using a blow dryer to melt the ice. I did some research and all I found were hopeless complaints online. I started thinking the fridge was no good. I did some troubleshooting and replaced the thermistor and defrost thermostat located in the freezer behind the panel. Thank God it worked! Hope this can help someone.

We purchased a very expensive/nice Samsung refrigerator two years ago. Recently we smelled a burning smell and then woke up to find that the entire refrigerator had gone out. The handy dandy electronic panel on the front complete with wifi/music/weather was still working perfectly saying that the fridge was cooling. IT WAS NOT! After, transferring the entire fridge/freezer to multiple coolers on a Sunday we proceeded to call to get a repairman on Monday morning. Well, come to find out not many people can repair these fridges! So, we talked to Samsung customer service who promised to send someone out. A day later, we hear from someone who is coming the next day. Mind you it has now been three days without refrigeration. They finally show up, after we were talked into purchasing a protection plan for another year since ours had expired. After looking at the refrigerator for ten minutes it is decided that the entire compressor is out. They put the fridge right back in place and said they would be in touch. They have to ORDER the compressor (which takes two weeks at least) after they call to get it covered by Samsung. Apparently the compressor is covered for 5 years which means we didnt need to buy the other coverage for $300. I will NEVER buy another Samsung anything and I just want to let everyone else know to steer clear!!!! I hope Samsung will read this and someone up the line at Corporate will take a look at their customer service department!

Samsung microwave SMH9187 - As others describe, the microwave started to beep and the -SE- error code appears. This signifies a display panel issue. Some have had success disconnecting power source for ~15 seconds. Others had success by simultaneously holding the stop/clear and enter/start buttons for 20 seconds. Someone else recommended disconnecting the display panel. This is easy. It is easy to remove the plugs and on my model, only the two white and blue plugs at the bottom could be incorrectly swapped but the blue plug connection has the word blue clearly shown. I had disassembled and am trying to use fans to remove moisture. This malfunction occurred after a nearly two inch rainstorm, so there might be some moisture causing the failure. Samsung said they would extend the parts warranty even though I am outside the 1 year warranty, so I would need to pay for a serviceman. If it is just the display panel and if I can get the part for no cost, this is an easy install.

Bought Samsung 28.5 cu. ft. French Door Fridge (spent $2500) in Aug, 2010 from Sears. After 4 1/2 years, it broke (no longer cool in fridge and cold in freezer). Asked Sears repairman to come (inspection costs $85) and said the compressor has to be replaced. Control board may also need to be replaced which costs another few hundreds. Samsung only covers the compressor parts but not labor. Estimated costs for labor is close to $500. It is totally rip-off and the worst experience for buying appliances. Never buy Samsung again for their unreliable products. I have a 26 years Admiral fridge in the garage which still works fine (except bit dripping water under and bit rust on some outside metal hinge).

I purchased a stove from Home Depot on 10/15/2014, today is 01/13/15. As of today I have been denied a claim for the glass top that chipped and the inner glass that broke while I was cleaning the oven. So to my surprise I called for service and replacement of glass top and inner glass and was told that it was denied for personal damage. Its amazing how you can spend $700 on a stove that didnt last for 3 months. My other stove which was a Kitchenaid was 10 years old before the inner glass broke meanwhile the glass top never broke and it still works perfectly. I will never purchase a samsung stove again.

SAMSUNG MODEL 268ABBP/XAA - Its the same issue as pretty much everyone else; its 3 years old and water is leaking into the crisper drawer and out the sides of the fridge. Ive spoken to numerous people at Samsung and, apparently, Im out repair costs. I just got off the phone with the executive BS dept. They pretty much told me same thing; Im on my own. Ill never ever buy Samsung again... If I had the money, I would load this piece of crap in the back of my truck and dump it at Lowes parking lot.

We bought a Samsung dishwasher less than 2 years ago and it just stopped working. Samsung sent someone out to look at it and he told us it would be $600 to fix it and we would be better off buying a new one. He also charged us $99 to tell us that. When I called Samsung to try and get some money back, anything, they did nothing. You would think if you pay the prices they charge for their appliances they would work for more than 2 years. I had a GE for 23 years without ever having to have a service call. I wont be buying Samsung anymore.

Samsung Model RF263AEPN/XAA - Seven (7) weeks ago my refrigerator began not keeping as cold as it should. When I tried to turn down the temperature it would turn down but then immediately return to the same not really cold state it had been working at. Sounded like it should be an easy problem to fix. However, I called several repair places who told me they would not, or could not, work on Samsung refrigerators as they were not made like other refrigerators, were hard to work on, and parts were hard to come by as only one place in the United States carries the parts. I finally found a repair place that came out and replaced some items and charged us hundreds of dollars, however the refrigerator was still not cold. I called again and the repair person returned. The next time two workers were sent out to look at the refrigerator. On one of the visits I was told me it needed a new green computer board. The repair person ordered the part and came back, only to find that the part sent was not the part that had been requested. This same scenario played out two more times, with today being the last day. I called Samsung and was given the run-around. During todays visit the repair person showed me what had been ordered and the order matched the part number on what he said the refrigerator needed. However, when he showed me the part that had been sent to him, it was the wrong part number. Are Samsung workers so inept at their jobs that the correct part number cannot be sent on three occasions? I will never again buy any Samsung products. I had to laugh as while I was on hold with Samsungs customer relations today, I was put on hold and what did I hear expect that Samsung products are the best. This is a false advertisement to the general consumer. I would urge anyone reading this to NOT BUY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS for several reasons, e.g. parts are hard to come by due to Samsung not making sure their parts pullers have adequate education to do the job they are hired to do, there is only one provider of Samsung parts in the United States, and the normal repair person cannot repair a Samsung. Tonight, my husband and I will go out and find a new refrigerator and I am sure it will not cost the $2,300 that this Samsung did, and the new refrigerator will be able to be worked on by pretty much any refrigerator repair person. I have an appointment to meet with a Lawyer this afternoon about this whole situation and hopefully that will help to alleviate some of the frustration that I am feeling now.

My refrigerator stopped working on 11-19-11. There was a lot of water on the floor and the refrigerator and freezer were both warm. I contacted Sears and was advised that someone would be out on 11-21-11 to repair. That did not happen. I called Sears again and a repair technician came out on 11-22-11. Said he replaced a filter and recharged with coolant. Told me should be cold in a couple of hours. At 4pm, it was still warm. I called Sears again. Repair technician came out on 11-23-11, told me there was a major leak in the cabin part of the refrigerator. He said they would order the part and it would be shipped directly to my home but of course that will not be until next week repair said they would be back on 12-1-11 to repair. I only had this refrigerator for six months. Its the day before Thanksgiving and I have no refrigerator. This is depressing.

I bought this dishwasher because it was recommended in the press as a good product. My experience with a Samsung dishwasher is nothing but problems. The dishwasher will not clean the dishes properly even after you rinse them down to start. I have had to replace the pump on this dishwasher twice and the service charge is around 200 dollars a visit. This is over a 28 month period. My advice to anyone wishing to buy a Samsung dishwasher should look at another product and leave this one alone.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Avoid this company and their dishwashers at all costs. The way they treat their customers is criminal. Here is my experience: On June 20, 2015 we purchased a dishwasher model DW80F600UTS/AA at Best Buy. On November 10, 2015 the dishwasher stopped working and we contacted Samsung and they advised a service technician had to be dispatched to repair. On November 20, 2015 a technician came out to our residence and informed us that the board had to be replaced. On February 25, 2016 the dishwasher stopped working again. We contacted Samsung and they were not able to find a service technician to replace the board. Samsung arranged to have the dishwasher exchanged for a new dishwasher at Best Buy. We received the new dishwasher (same model) on March 11, 2016.On February 1, 2017 the new dishwasher stopped working giving the same error as the first model. We generated a warranty service request. In this work ticket I requested that since we are repeatedly getting the same error with two separate dishwashers that we be refunded full purchase price of original dishwasher due to the problems with this dishwasher model. To keep replacing the boards or dishwasher every 3-11 months and the time it takes to get any resolution to our service issue is inconvenient. When the customer service representative called on February 2, 2017 I reiterated our position and requested to speak with a supervisor. On February 13, 2017 a supervisor called and assured us they could have the dishwasher repaired on February 17, 2017.On February 16, 2017 a call was received from an appliance repair company. I discussed the issue with the dishwasher and they said they would speak to a Samsung representative. I never back from this company. On February 27, 2017 I wrote a letter to the BBB regarding my customer service issue. The next day I was contacted by Samsung who promised I would have service on my dishwasher immediately. On March 9, 2017 Samsung contacted me regarding my satisfaction on the repair to my dishwasher. I informed them that it didnt happen as whoever they contacted to perform the repair never contacted me. I advised this person that I wanted to speak to a supervisor immediately.I havent been contacted yet, and based on my experience with this company, I doubt I ever will. Do yourself a favor and buy another brand. Just look at the length of time it takes them to respond to my service requests. Its been over a month now and still have a broken dishwasher. What company thinks that is acceptable? Samsung does.

Samsung is giving me the royal run-around in trying to: * get a 3rd new replacement refrigerator. I bought a 5-year warranty from Home Depot, where I originally bought this refrigerator on 7/15/13; it arrived damaged out of the box; the 2nd refrigerator, which is sitting in my kitchen, wont make ice and the temp in the fridge doesnt get above 54.6 (so all food has spoiled!)* get my current fridge repaired -- TO NO AVAIL! I have called and spoken with 6 different Samsung reps -- one told me parts were on order from Via Appliance; another said well have to refund your money for the fridge but wont refund my $ for the 5-year warranty (I have to deal w/ Home Depot for that!), and yet another said they couldnt help me -- I have to contact their external affairs dept. but refused to give me a phone number. It seems the ONLY appliance repair company that Samsung has under contract in Northern Virginia is so backed up with Samsung refrigerator repairs from customers that theyre refusing to take new service requests from Samsung. There seem to be so many problems with these refrigerators that appliance repair shops are REFUSING to repair them -- even when NEW and even when THEYRE under contract with Samsung. Unbelievable!!! STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG REFRIGERATORS!!! Theyre not only a piece of junk, their customer service is non-existent!

I purchased Samsung French Door Counter Depth Refrigerator in November 2016 and had problems with the freezer drawer almost immediately. The drawer would not open completely unless you tugged on it multiple times so I contacted Samsung and was summarily dismissed by the first person with whom I came in contact. I was told by this person that the drawer only opens a few inches and that I would basically have to live with the situation. The second person I called tried to get me to be the service technician and suggested numerous things that I could do to try and remedy the problem. I told him that I did not have the time nor the inclination to play service technician and that since the unit was new I expected Samsung to send a technician to take care of the issue. They sent someone from Service Quick who decided the drawer gasket was bad and it was allowing air into the freezer causing frost to build up on the rails thus preventing the drawer from opening completely. The gasket was replaced and the next day the drawer was just as bad as it had been prior to the service call. I made another call to Samsung and the second time two technicians arrived and they decided the rails were bad and replaced both rails. The following day the drawer was even worse than before and it was difficult to open and close. The third and final service call two technicians arrived and one tested the gasket for air leaks and the other used a steamer on just one of the rails (why only one I do not know). These idiots told me there were no air leaks but I needed to wipe the door gasket off at least once or twice a week! Finally I contacted Samsung again and they wanted to send another technician from another company to assess the situation and I refused. I told them that since the refrigerator was new and they could not resolve the issue after three tries I wanted them to consider another way to resolve the matter. Samsung decided they would refund my money, however it has been two weeks since I provided them with the information they requested in order to process the refund and I have yet to get a response to my e-mail inquiring about the status of the matter. I decided to call the Samsung refund and exchanges department and was placed on hold for 45 minutes. While I was on hold 6 PM rolled around and due to the fact that department closes at 6 PM a recorded message came on and said they could not take my call and that I should call back during regular business hours. We have many Samsung products in our household and, fortunately have never needed service on any of them, until the refrigerator. Now I have experienced the abysmal service from Samsung I will never recommend nor will I ever purchase another Samsung product! Samsung cares nothing about the customer as evidenced by the dismal service they provide. My recommendation is to boycott Samsung and buy products from companies that will service what they sell and respond to the customer in a timely and efficient manner!

I have spoken to your representative on numerous occasions regarding the quoted fridge (Samsung Fridge RS2530BWP) purchased Dec. 2/07. Again this unit has stopped working. Now my food is all spoiled. I was told by the repair company that it is the motherboard once again. This fridge has been a problem since just after the first year of purchase and you may check the log of my calls. My fridge was purchased in 2007. I purchased an extended warranty and this service co has now serviced my fridge 4 times. This warranty is now off also and now the fridge has quit completely leaving me to deal with an outside service company who say that it’s the motherboard again. The part has to be ordered and it takes 8-10 days or I can have it expressed at an extra $40 and it will be delivered 4-5 days.Awesome service for an essential appliance, wouldnt you agree? The fan has stopped working 2 times, a motherboard replaced one all just after the Samsung warranty was off, of course. Plus there are several large cracks in the plastic of the interior which Im told are merely cosmetic and there is no coverage for that. It was a very noisy fridge, banging and waking me up at night. To say Im not a satisfied Samsung customer is an understatement.Plus Ive again lost 3 fridges full of food which have to be replaced. I hope all of you will read these reviews and refuse to purchase a Samsung appliance ever. Im now forced to look for a new fridge and believe me, I will not ever purchase Samsung again.

We purchased a Samsung bundle from Home Depot a couple of summers ago. The black stainless finish is peeling off already but even worse, the stove continues to short out when we clean it. The motherboard has been replaced once but it seems as if we are losing another one now. After wiping the top with a soft washcloth with mild soapy water, its throwing the breaker again. Im pretty careful when I clean it and have never had this issue with a stove before. Im so disappointed. My husband and I saved for a long time to be able to replace our old appliances but Id take them back if I could. Things are just not built to last anymore and no company seems to care enough to make decent products. I cant believe our government doesnt hold these companies to a higher standard. I purchased a new refrigerator in June of 2016. The refrigerator was on back order and was received on July 2016, 1 month later. Purchased online from Best Buy. In December 2016 the refrigerator side stopped working. Called Samsung, ticket made, service ticket created, local repair sent to review. Tech said parts were needed and has received numerous calls on same issue. Fans seized and no cooling. When I purchased this refrigerator I felt it was to be a good 10 to 15 years before I would have any problems. My last fridge was a hand-me-down Frigidaire from my mom but felt I would go to a more futuristic appliance with bells and whistles. I was wrong. I have since lost over $400 dollars in spoiled groceries. I cannot use it because it does not cool. Lights are ice. I keep calling Best Buy and Samsung, and get the runaround. Samsung, ticket still open, parts in limbo. Best Buy wont accept it back since its past 45 days of original purchase. I still owe $1,200.00 on a $1,650.00 fridge.I wish I would have checked more reviews on these Samsung appliances. This is to warn others of what can happen to you if you do get such an appliance. Also to point out how Best Buy and Samsung support DEFECTIVE appliances. Samsung thumbs down. Sorry cant help you, is the answer. Best Buy thumbs down. Sorry not our problem after 45 days. Pay 3 times for service and maybe we replace it. Very disappointed with Best Buy on this enigma. Will hashtag this on Twitter and Facebook until I finish paying for it, and hopefully help some other sap from making the wrong purchase, and where NOT to purchase this item with no support or lemon law for defective products that should last at a minimal 5 to 10 years. Very disappointed.

From the time that it was new the ice maker in this model refrigerator was awful even when it was not frozen over and the ice making unit was not in need of de-icing. The ice maker was slow and low capacity from day one, but the real defect appeared within 3 weeks after I got my new refrigerator. Ice making had stopped completely and when I removed the compartment it was immediately apparent why this was. The entire rear portion where the cubes feed into the holding area was caked with ice and ice cubes, and freezer frost, with freezer frost creeping out all of the way the front part of where the assembly seats.I called Samsung for assistance or repair and was told to turn off the ice maker and put hot water on the areas that were frozen over. There was no way to effectively do this because of where the ice had caked - way back in the tightest and coldest area. Very unreachable. After great and careful effort I was able to get it cleared and the ice maker working again. Within two weeks the problem repeated and I called again about my brand new refrigerator that was less than 6 weeks old. After explaining the situation and requesting repair I was told to modify the freezer settings along with the same instructions to use hot water to melt the ice. The thought was that the freezer being too cold or too warm might be contributing to the problem. Once again, failure. Another 2+ weeks passed and the ice maker was frozen over again. At this point I just went to Amazon and purchased a good heat gun and established the habit of thoroughly melting the ice and drying the entire area out, then leaving the ice maker off for a few days while checking to make sure that things stayed dry. After this ritual I turn the ice maker back on and now get about 4-5 weeks of use before having to de-ice again. My 21st century ice dispenser has to be maintained in the same manner as a freezer from the 1950s. Because of this I buy bags of cubed ice on a regular basis as a matter of habit. With the exception of the ice maker my Samsung Chefs Series refrigerator is pretty good with nice features and electronics. But given the price I paid for a flagship appliance from a top name manufacturer the overall experience has been a big disappointment. Even more so when Samsung Customer Support is factored in. This is a two-star review all the way.

I have experienced the same complaint everyone who owns a Samsung microwave seems to have - the SE error code. I contacted Samsung and it took four chat sessions and an angry phone call to have a service person come out. I was told the control panel would be replaced, no charge on epidemic warranty; servicing agency knows nothing about it. I was told I would have to pay for the control box if it needs replacement. It seems like Samsung is well aware of this major problem, but has chosen to do nothing until your unit fails - and it will. Then they horse you around for days to get it serviced. I have lots of Samsung products with no problems, but this microwave has totally destroyed my Samsung vision. It is just an out and out piece of crap. The ventilation system sucks, which I believe is the cause of the SE code because moisture builds up in the control panel. If I have to replace, I guarantee it will not be with another Samsung.

Lowes at least stepped in, said these were so bad I got a new Bosch Ive loved now for 3 yrs. Samsung counter depth refrigerator also had icemaker die in under 2 yrs. Lowes replaced it due to extended warranty but now 3 yrs later I tried again with warranty expired. Also had 2 Samsung LCD TVs die in 2 yrs, with both a Blu-ray player and separate DVD go belly up in that time too. Stupid name for ever buying anything from them after 2nd item. Needless to say I will NEVER EVER AGAIN BUY ANYTHING FROM SAMSUNG! Unbelievably bad quality and worse, truly dangerous!! Stay away, hope they go out of business soon.

6 months ago, we started having problems with the freezer side freezing up and then the fan was hitting the ice and making loud noises. We turned down the freezer control, which helped for a while. We have had this refrigerator for 22 months and yesterday it quit working. We called a repair person and he said that the motherboard and the fan were burned up. He called to get prices on the new parts and said it would cost around $300.00 to fix and replace parts. However, he told us that the motherboard was DISCONTINUED and that the replacement motherboard might not fix the problem with it icing up. We paid $1000.00 for this refrigerator and it was a lemon. Will never buy one from them again. Also, Sears is where we bought this refrigerator and we will never buy one there again for selling us a piece of junk. It started having problems right after the 1 year warranty expired!. $1000.00 refrigerators should last more than 22 months! Also, when we called the first repair company, they said they do not work on Samsung refrigerators. Seems to me they knew about the problems from me and other customers.

I was complainant # 100 and this is a follow-up of the situation. I called a 4th time to Samsung Customer Service to inform them of my success at repairing the microwave SMH9187ST and requested only the cost of the control panel assembly ($71.02). After some deliberation, the answer was no because I was not an authorized repair technician. Had I waited on Samsung to handle this situation with their service, I would have had no expense. Samsung now recognizes a problem with these microwaves and will assist consumers. I feel like Im being punished for being a capable do-it-yourself-er. Whatever happened to good customer service of decades ago?

We have a Samsung Induction Range purchase in 2013. There have been consistent issues, but nothing as serious as last night. I was washing dishes when I heard a clicking sound. When I looked over at the range, the panel and burner lights were flashing. Within seconds there was an extremely loud pop and then major arcs and flames. Since our breaker box was in the next room, I was able to turn power off to the unit right away. The range is out of warranty, however, because an electrical fire should be considered a major safety issue, I contacted Samsung and explained what happened. So, Samsung is sending a appliance repairman out to assess the damage and because my oven was on fire, they wont charge me a diagnostic fee! Really Samsung? Shame on you! You should be taking this oven fire issue a little more seriously than you seem to be, especially in light of so many complaints that have been lodged against you just this year alone.

We bought a Samsung over the range microwave and paid nearly $500 for it. It worked well for a couple of years and then all of the sudden started turning on by itself. Not just the light or the turntable, but it was actually heating as well! Thankfully we were home when it started happening so we were able to prevent what Im sure would have been a major fire. Checked Samsung support site and apparently this is a known and rather common problem with their microwaves, with the only apparent fix being unplug the unit immediately and pay for someone (from your own pocket) to come and fix it. Unfortunately companies as large as Samsung have no interest in dealing with issues like this until someone dies, so recommend NOT buying a Samsung microwave unless you have fire insurance and are hardly ever home.

I bought a Samsung dishwasher less than 2 years ago and what a piece of garbage. My previous dishwasher lasted 30 years and it was a Kenmore. I called a local repair company and they said they do not service Samsung as parts are very expensive and hard to get. I phoned Leons in Collingwood where I got this junk and they gave me a phone number in Owen Sound. The technician came and told us something leaked onto the motor and would cost $600.00 to fix. So we paid $200.00 for service call and this piece of junk will go to the scrap yard. And unfortunately I bought a Samsung refrigerator and hopefully it will last more than 2 years. But I will be purchasing a different product very shortly and it will not be a Samsung brand.

I called an authorized repairman and they have replaced the ice maker, ice bin, auger for ice maker, some kind of filter on the back and it is still the same. They now say I need 2 defroster 1 for the top and 1 for the freezer. I have already spent a lot of money on this sorry refrigerator. I purchased and installed a Samsung Gas Range (NC58H9950WS) in Spring of 2015. I recently ran (Dec 2017) the oven cleaning feature, and now my display is not working. Ive found many similar reviews stating their displays stopped working after running the cleaning program. The cost to repair this is approximately $1100 to replace both display boards (the range cost me around $2500 new). It would seem that Samsung sold us all a bill of goods by saying this feature is available on their range but in fact using the feature will make other parts of the range break down and require replacement. If youve had a similar experience, write your review!

A new evaporator plate was installed. This did not solve the problem. Samsung technicians claim that this loud cracking sound is normal. It is so noisy that we are awaken from our sleep each night. How can the technicians claim that this is a normal sound when they have never heard my refrigerator. Customer service has been extremely bad. We have an extended warranty (thank heavens) but so far, the repair people have not done anything to fix the problem. The tech replaced the fan (the one he had didnt really fit so he used tin snips to make it fit...a bad sign!) Our dishwasher nightmare continues. We purchased our dishwasher in May 2014 from Lowes, replacing a Kitchenaid. The salesman at Lowes talked us into the Samsung when I specifically said, anything but a Samsung after a terrible experience with their refrigerator. He said that Consumer Reports gave it top ratings and led us to a specific model that had all the features we wanted. We reluctantly bought it but we got a great deal on it. Right after it was installed, there was water left in the bottom after the installer left. I assumed it was because he ran it through some abbreviated cycle so I loaded it, ran the dishes through a cycle and, when I opened it, the water was gone. I thought the problem was solved.About 4 weeks later, I opened the dishwasher to load some dishes and, again, there was standing water in the bottom but the smell was terrible. It was like a combination of old garbage and stagnant water. We called the service department at Lowes because we bought the extended service plan on the dishwasher. The man from A & E came over, looked it over and said - to make it so I did not have to pay for a service call - we will say it was food in the disposal and told me to buy a product called Affresh and use it once a month in the dishwasher. A few days later, I ran one of the Affresh treatments in the dishwasher and for 2-3 days, the dishwasher was fine. No smell, no water in the bottom. But then the smell came back.About a month later, another service man came from A & E and told me that there was nothing he could do about it because the problem was that the dishwasher was draining through my garbage disposal, and the water and smells were backing up from that. He told us we needed a plumber to put in another drain for the dishwasher! REALLY? This is the third dishwasher weve had in this home and the first that we have experienced problems like this with!We went to Lowes to talk to someone and were sent to someone in installation. There, another installer was sent to my house to take a look and he removed a loop that was in the flexible tube from the dishwasher to the garbage disposal. This seemed to stop the water problem. But the smell is still awful! A few nights ago I was loading dishes and my husband walked into the kitchen (about 20 feet away) and he asked me what that terrible smell was!I am trying to be patient and give Lowes a chance to help. I am trying to believe that Samsung will do the right thing. I am losing my patience and my faith. I am afraid to try any of the usual things like white vinegar, Borax, or anything else because the machine is only 6 months old. No more Samsung products for us. Not worth any amount of money saved for the problems they deliver!

Service has been to my parents home January 2, January 9th, January 16th, January 26th, January 29th and scheduled February 4th, 2015. Samsung has been contacted, their response was its out of warranty. My response is a $1200 refrigerator should last longer than 4 years, if not then the construction of the product is defective. Samsungs response - too bad. Dealing with the Executive Customer Service representative was very unwilling to send me to a supervisor, Im still waiting on a call back. After 8 months, Samsung french door fridge model # RF197ACRS started making a loud noise. It defrosted the freezer twice on its own - the fridge part was warm. For some reason froze up again and started working. Now there is a continuous build up of water leaking on the bottom of fridge below the crisper drawers. From the reviews Ive read, this is a regular problem with these fridges. Thats what I get for buying made in China crap from an un-reputable company. We lose our manufacturing jobs and keep them employed by having to constantly buy products that are built for obsolescence. We keep spending and getting poorer so they stay employed and richer. We should have paid more attention to the political puppets who brought in free trade for the worlds controlling monopolistic few.

Of course, Best Buy has never heard of anything like this before. Also, Samsung said this was the first they had ever had such a problem and were surprised at our photos. Of course, it is a cosmetic issue and they will do nothing. We are told to purchase new handles and were referred to a parts company who claim they are not part of Samsung. They havent told us the cost. We are thinking removing the handles and taking them to an auto body repair shop to be repainted. Think that will work? On August 2, 2018 a complaint was filed with New Jerseys Better Business Bureau against Samsung. The same day the BBB forwarded my complaint to Samsung and to my surprise the same day we received a phone call from Jamie ** from the Office of The President. Mrs. ** set up an appointment with Service Quick to repair the product for August 6, 2018.On August 6, 2018 I received a phone call from the technician assigned to my repair. Before even showing up at my house he told me he didnt have the parts to repair the refrigerator. He also stated that he was unaware of the refrigerator not working. He stated that the compressor issue is outside of his expertise and would need to be rescheduled. We had to wait another week without a refrigerator and I also needed to request another day off of work to accommodate the repair.I reached out to Mrs. ** to receive guidance because of the above miscommunication. Several phone calls and e-mails were sent to Mrs. ** and were never answered. Why reach out to someone to help solve a problem if you are only going to ignore them. It makes the situation much worse than better. Our refrigerator was repaired on Monday August 13, 2018. On Wednesday August 15, 2018 we purchased groceries. We woke up this morning to the freezer failing two days after the repair and losing all groceries that were in the freezer for a second time. Service Quick is wanting us to wait additional time to schedule the repair.During the conversation with Mrs. ** it was expressed that this was a one time accommodation to repair the unit. This ended up being a sealed system repair per the ticket. This is covered under the five year manufactured warranty per the technician and also our paperwork. So I am not sure what the one time accommodation is and why this is being treated as if Samsung is doing us a favor by fixing the product which is still under their manufactured warranty.I have already taken two days off of work between two technicians and now am being asked to take an additional day off of work. I need your assistance in getting someone out here to finalize this repair and/or replacement. Paperwork was given to the repairmen showing the ice-maker had been replaced (4) times previously. Now it has been replaced five times. This certainly falls up under Californias lemon law. As a consumer I have presented the product to the manufacturer or its representative so they could diagnose the defect and repair it. Along with the duty, as a consumer I have the right to expect the product will be repaired honestly and expeditiously. I have left prior to today a total of three telephone messages and three e-mails for Mrs.**. All have remained unanswered.

In 2010 our old dishwasher refused its duty after nearly 10 years of work. It was an AEG/Whirlpool and it made his work properly. So my wife and I decided to buy a new one. At last we gave the Samsung DW-SG720T a try and expected the same performance. First both of us discovered that nearly every dish was not clean at all. We changed the program to the hottest possible cleaning, but the machine did not meet the minimum requirements for cleaning knifes that are simply covered with peanut butter. This night (!) the machines front door stood open, after cleaning and after nearly 5 (five) hours ending the cleaning program without errors, the machine started to turn on the pump and made a signal while showing OE. My wife and I woke up, got downstairs in the kitchen and I had to turn off the fuse to stop it - it has been 1:20 am in the morning. Thanks a lot, Samsung! OE means overflow error but in fact there is no water in the machine after draining. I am angry about this piece of **. My recommendation is: Samsung? Hands off! I am interested in what the support is trying to tell me. Next time: AEG/Whirlpool, which is the same here in Germany.

So I purchase 2 Samsung smooth top convection ovens July 27th 2017 for a small in home commercial kitchen. The use of these ovens would not exceed what any normal home would do in a year as my business is somewhat seasonal and a very small operation. I had a repair tech come out and after trying else we replaced the main brain. This sadly did not fix the issue. Then in August the other oven started doing the same thing. After exhausting every fix the repair technician said that there is nothing else to replace so maybe call Samsung and ask them to do something. After three months of being told they will get back to me with a resolution not once did they contact me back, as promised, until I got cross with them and demanded some kind of answer. Well there out is my little operation! I was told that even one week of use in a commercial setting voids all warranty and that I would have to just get them fixed. HOW!!!! Upon removing all of the packing tape from my brand new Samsung range, the many problems were revealed. Outer panels were not attached properly (one side held together with the packing tape), behind that panel, another completely detached piece of sheet metal, and the oven light was dangling from its wires. Upon the discovery of this possible electrical hazard, I decided not to risk plugging it in. Now I have a useless range in my kitchen, a fridge full of highly perishable foods to cook, and no resolution for several days... I just have to sit with it and wait for someone for Home Depot to call me back. I assume I will have to take another day off work to await pick-up (Samsung lost my confidence, replacement is not an option). I should have learned this lesson last year when my brand new Samsung phone needed warranty work after two weeks of ownership. I now ask the questions; what is the true cost of this transaction? How much money and personal time will this cost me? Will Samsung compensate me for any of that? After all, it was their carelessness and lack of quality control that lead to this. They could redeem themselves with an appropriate offer, however, based on what Ive read about Samsung CS, its not likely. Goodbye forever Samsung... Thats one Titanic Id like to see sinking.

We remodeled our kitchen and purchased the FE710DRS Stainless Steel Flexible Dual Convection Smooth-Top Electric Range in September 2011. This week as I was preheating the oven, the wiring caught fire. It was really frightening. Filled our downstairs with black smoke and left an awful smell. Hoping that Samsung will respond positively since we paid $1300 and its only 4 years old. Will update.

We bought Samsung microwave, to go along with all other Samsung appliances. We paid several hundred dollars for unit, and have been highly disappointed. Without warning, microwave stopped working entirely. We had all breakers tested to ensure the issue was in fact the microwave. Then, called Samsung Support. When we were told this wouldnt be covered by warranty *though they werent sure what the problem was, and advised we would need to schedule service. An appliance that you pay good money for, should continue working - and if it doesnt, it should be considered faulty by the manufacturer. Forgive me for not wanting to pay Samsung any more money for selling a bad product, being less than helpful, and no guarantee that even if they fix the unit, that we wont continue to have problems.Additional side notes: We used this microwave minimally, always kept it clean, and even advised Samsung Support that we just needed them to provide us a website - in order for us to refer to make the repair ourselves. Avoid the hours of wasted time if youve had your microwave over a year. And, in hopes you havent already bought a Samsung unit, read reviews of other manufacturers and the way they handle complaints, before making an investment. Had we done that, we wouldnt be shelling out hundreds of dollars for a replacement - our savings for Christmas gifts will now be covering malfunctions of something that is less than 2.5 years old. Thank you for your time.

Just before a year of having the Samsung Glass top stove NE595R0ABSR/AA, the enamel in the bottom of the stove started to crack. I didnt notice at first but the cracks were getting larger and showing in different areas of the bottom of the stove. When I purchased my home, I purchased almost all Samsung appliances... After this, I will never buy anything made by Samsung... not even a phone nor TV. Clearly the service rep that came out and agreed that this issue is a defect. I attempted to address the issue with Samsung, but days after sending pictures and receipts, they stated the stove was not under warranty and they would not cover it. To make things worse, I have extended warranty through Asurion (Home Depot warranty) and they stated its something that should be covered by the manufacturer. So, I have a $700 stove where no one want to own up to being the responsible party for coverage.

My Samsung refrigerator ice maker is leaking and icing up. I had an appliance repair company look at the problem and was informed that the repair would require the replacement of the ice maker, auger motor kit and clip pack. The parts totaled $497.39, plus $165 labor along with $39.07 tax, total $686.46. The repairman gave me all the part replacement information and recommended that I contact Samsung Customer service since the problem I am having is common for this model, RF28HMEDBSR/AA. The customer service rep looked up the serial number and said that the ref is three years old and that the ice maker is only under warranty for one year. I said, You mean that Samsung believes that the ice maker should only last one year plus and the ref and freezer should last five years. He stated that he could do nothing because that is the Samsung policy. My recommendation is DO NOT PURCHASE A SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR!

I would never purchase or recommend a Samsung appliance again after our experience with our Samsung refrigerator that we purchased in Fall 2013. After owning the refrigerator for ~9 months, I began to notice water accumulating under the deli drawer. I thought it might just be normal and cleaned it up every month or so. Around 15 months after purchase, I noticed the water accumulating more often and to a greater degree. Water would spill out of the fridge when we opened the doors (sometimes sheets of ice). I called Samsung and the refrigerator was not under warranty any longer.Over a period of the next 9 months, Samsung sent out 3 different repair companies. None of the companies could fix the problem. Water and ice continued to accumulate, spilling all over the floor whenever the fridge was opened. Large amounts of mildew grew due to the moisture. The fridge had to be shop-vacuumed monthly to clean out all of the water. After Samsung telling us that there was nothing else that they could do, we finally purchased a new refrigerator from a different manufacturer. We moved the fridge to our garage and it is now going to have to be hauled away due to the continual growth of mildew due to the water accumulation problem. We are so frustrated that we spent $2000+ on this refrigerator and it cannot even be used in our garage!

Did a kitchen renovation and bought a stainless steel 33 inch Samsung rf197 fridge. 3 months later it starts leaking water into the vegetable trays. The fridge freezes up. Everything inside is frozen and ruined. Ice builds up and stops the fan. After defrosting numerous times again ruined everything. Ice in fridge section again builds up and fridge shuts down again ruined everything. Compressor stops working for fridge section freezer keeps working. I am now on a first name basis with the repairman. Compressor stops 1 week before 5 year warranty up on compressor. Have to fight with samsung for repair. 18 months later the second compressor has gone. Enough is enough. Moved my beautiful samsung to the curb (no marks on stainless steel) and bought a different brand.

We bought a french door refrigerator (RF323TEDBSR/AA) in August 2015; In May 2016 the fan started to make a funny noise. In June the fridge stops cooling. Freezer works fine. We called Samsung, no complaints about the customer service, however the communication between Samsung and services provider is really bad. The first one said our manufacturer warranty was expired in March 2015, but we bought the fridge in August. Second service guy came over; very pleasant guy; changed the defrost panel. It has been exactly a month that they changed the back panel, and the noise from the fan going against the built ice came back. We called Samsung again yesterday, then I decided to check some reviews. I start thinking we made a bad choice buying this product. We have few others, washer, dryer, stove and microwave not installed yet.

Now its Thanksgiving eve and when we arrived home, it was 52 in the frig! I first got out a new gallon of milk, opened it and it was spoiled, all 3 were. I hate Samsung!!!! I bought fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher from Leons in Canada. The extended warranty has been the best money Ive ever spent - ever. Excluding the microwave, in the three years since I bought them, Ive had close to TWENTY service calls on the three appliances. There have been numerous problems. The stove was arcing 220 Volts onto the chassis of the appliance, the top spontaneously (really!) cracked. The burner switch burned out. The ice maker in the fridge has had 5 service calls, drips water on the floor every time you open the door and still ices up regularly. The dishwasher leaves debris on the dishes even though I rinse most food waste off the dishes and they claim it has a food disposal feature. I just had multiple components including the pump and fill module replaced. Dont buy any household appliances by SAMSUNG. They are poorly designed and cheaply made.

This dishwasher makes it difficult to load plates and bowls into the bottom shelf. They slide into guides at an angle, straddling two rows and ending up crooked, requiring constant readjustment. Its a gas stove with a blower in the oven, lets you air fry or roast, the only gripe I have with the unit is the stove top. The four burners arent regulated properly, they stay on high through 2/3 of the knob rotation making it difficult to get the exact temp youre looking for and the center burner that comes with a grill takes forever to heat up. NewSamsung Dishwasher Model DW80F600UTS lots of different issues. From Day 1 hasnt worked properly. Steam vent under front of door wasnt shutting off, so water would leak out the front. HEAVY light started blinking, and pump wouldnt turn off, power wouldnt turn off, either. Had to turn off at breaker. Dried out the flood pan and sensor, and saw moisture on the water intake hose coupling, so tightened that. That helped for a week, then it went off again. Seems to be leaking out of tub, not hose. Luckily, still under warranty so service is coming in a few days.SERVICE: Parts take 10 days!! So the repair guy comes, figures out what is wrong, then has to order the part and come again. It can be 2 weeks before you can use your new dishwasher again! When I talk to the service company (that is not Samsung, but certified to do their repairs), they make it sound like they know exactly what the problem is before they come out - leading me to believe they had a lot of this problem!! If you want the worlds worst customer service and to deal with a company who will do anything to avoid standing by their warranty, then buy a Samsung. On May 16 our side by side fridge stopped working. We have been EXTREMELY frustrated with customer support. We were first told Williamston TV in Farmingdale, NY would be calling us to set up an appointment. After not receiving a call from them, I called their center and they informed me they do not work on appliances. I contacted Samsung again and was given Rods in Riverhead, NY. Someone was suppose to come out today between 9 and 10 am - but no one from their center ever answered their phone. My husband ended up losing a days work because he took off to be home for the repairman. When I googled that company, their average review received 1 out of 5 stars (with many references of no one answering their phone and people never showing up to their house). I then called Samsung again and after 1/2 hour the customer service woman told us those were the only 2 centers on Long Island. Finally she told us we could get our own diagnostic and email it. Local appliance company - Recommended new refrigerator. Unit has bad evaporated coil and cover. According to the warranty from website this is covered under the 5 YEAR PARTS AND LABOR. In addition to the inconvenience, we have lost several hundred dollars in spoiled food, my husband losing a day of work, and a freezer full of pumped breast milk for my 3 month old. We need to have a response and action done immediately as we are continuing to have to go to the store to get ice to store my sons milk and keep my one and half year old sons medicine.Samsungs email response - We are sorry to hear about your response, we will dispatch Williamston TV repair. (Note - this is exactly the company I mentioned that does not work on appliances.) Samsung Executive Customer Service phone response - We need to wait for Samsung to look over and evaluate their contract with Rods. If they decide Rods is not responsive then they will put our claim through an evaluation to see if they will in fact accept the local appliance diagnostic and allow them to do the repair, a process which could take two weeks to get an approval. Shame on you Samsung! Stop telling me I will do everything to help you and I am sorry to hear you are experiencing problems. Was told I would have to call a Nationwide Repair Company & gave me a phone number. When I called the minimum trip & diagnosis would be around $200 - then there would be labor & parts charged for repair. Also could not come for at least a week. I had to have a refrigerator to store ** & other drugs requiring refrigeration. Called insurance & cannot file a 3rd claim on same appliance so Im out another refrigerator of food & hoping it was caught early enough not to damage the **. If there was a negative star... thats what I give our four year old dishwasher. It worked okay for the first year, then dishes were always cruddy, even if we carefully rinsed them. We were forever cleaning it the filter, which was never actually dirty, but to no avail. Then, we started getting the dreaded OE error. Wed restart, and it would generally go, though wasting the fill water in drought struck California. Then, it would not work, right before New Years. Repairman came out, correctly diagnosed the problem, replaced the electronics board for $380. Four weeks later, OE flashing again. This time it was the water valve. The repairman did the rest as described by Samsung to diagnose it, as he had the previous time -- I watched. Replaced THAT part, for another $320. Worked once, then OE began flashing. To say that I am LIVID would be an understatement. I called Samsung and got the company line that because it was so old... My last dishwasher lasted 22 years. By the way, we also bought a Samsung refrigerator. Within a year the in-door water began leaking inside the fridge and then freezing under the bottom door, effectively gluing it in place. This, like the OE problem, is a well known problem and Samsung refuses to fix it. NEVER again.

Large burner (Samsung Induction Range NE58K9560WS) worked properly about three times then suddenly would turn off after about 3 seconds. First service attempt could not get it to work but if he traded out knob would work so was not prepared and had to return with another knob. Second service call different guy with different problems he could not figure out. Third call, original service guy who still could not get it to work properly so the same people they called for help each time said I had to use a VERY large heavy pot for it to work. I was not there. I heard this through my husband. So supposedly the same pot that didnt work before now does work on that burner and my husband was supposedly EDUCATED about the proper pan size to use for each burner. Interesting as my old induction Kenmore never had a problem, and I could use any size pan on any burner. Well when I got home I tried the large pot on the burner but the scale on the knob was completely off. As I turned the knob it does not start until I get to simmer and it boosts to a 6, then the next notch goes to 9. Then 8, then to 4!!! It is suppose to increase incrementally from 1 to 9! So I call back to tell them the problem and I am supposedly in service call time out, as they clearly dont believe the stove has anything wrong with it. I am very frustrated and really wish I had never purchased this appliance. Did I mention that the service techs rely on YouTube like videos to troubleshoot and repair, and also call their tech support.

I purchased a new Samsung refrig 267 that has had a few service issues. The ice maker is very noisy and does not work smoothly, but the largest issue is the cooling system that leaks water and freezes under the cool pantry drawer. I had an authorized service agent come to fix the problem, but after an hour and a service charge, he said it was not repairable. Samsung will not stand behind the product and would not help in any way. Due the fact that they have thousands of unhappy product owners, I would hope that they would take responsibility and own up, even if it takes replacing the product at no charge. I understand the later models have new technology that eliminates the problem that thousands of current owners are stuck with.
