This range is the best purchase Ive done in a while. The range itself is beautiful, all the amenities, the panel has it all. I especially love the way the grills keep heat around the area and doesnt stay warm long after you turn off the gas. The oven itself keeps the food at the right temperature you set it at. The other option of self cleaning works great. Im in love with this range. I would recommend this range to anyone purchasing a new one.

I purchased a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and stove from Lowes in Baton Rouge Millerville location. The fridge had hole in water line to ice maker. The stove made noises. The rollers on top tray of dishwasher fell off. When I say junk its harsh but that is exactly what it is. Lowes sent another fridge and its making noises. On top of their products being junk they had a promotion going on at the time I bought the appliance which I purchased all four at once. Thirty-two hundred dollars worth to mail in recipes and we would receive a free 32 inch Samsung tv. I received a letter back stating that we did not meet the criteria to receive the television. Wow not surprised. I contacted Lowes for their help and reached dead end after dead end. I can truly say this, Their appliances are junk and I will never buy any of their products.

I bought the French door, bottom freezer drawer, water in the door Samsung Refrigerator at a local appliance dealer that Ive done business with before. Bought it because it had the configuration and stainless steel look I wanted. All seems to work fine currently but it is very noisy, making loud humming and intermittent vibrating. This started after about 2 years of use. My mothers long time (30 years) refrigerator started making the same kind of noises about a year before it quit so Im worried.

It is unbelievable that with all the complaints we are reading about the SE problem with Samsung microwaves, the company hasnt responded. I too have the same beeping problem. I hardly used this microwave and have used it less than 2 years after installation. The fix becomes costly if you cant do it yourself. You might as well buy a new one. Then you have to pay for installation of that. I will never buy another Samsung product of any kind as their support is nil.

My Samsung fridge quit cooling at 8 months old. I called Samsung for a repair and they fixed it after 3 repair companies coming out. The first two weren’t qualified to repair sealed system units. Finally got the sealed system replaced and it failed 30 days later. I spent countless hours on the phone with Samsung trying to get a refund. After four months with a too warm fridge, and 4-5 hours a week on the phone with Samsung, sending documentation over and over as they continually “lost” documents emailed and faxes, I finally got my refund. After all my haggling, I discovered that tens of thousands have had the same experience with Samsung.

I highly recommend this tv! The picture Quality is out of this world! The sound is exceptional before even using a sound bar. We now prefer to watch everything on this tv then going to the cinemas as we feel we get a better experience at home with this tv and the Samsung Qn90B sound bar. Our only regret was not getting the 85”!! Though still satisfied with the 75”. After this, it will be hard to settle for anything less. You won’t regret purchasing this product. It brings old and new to life. You will feel like you are there in person. Detail and colour quality will blow you away! A good investment! Enjoy! P.s your friends and family, once they see the quality, they too will want one.

We recently purchased Samsung Dishwasher Model #DW80K5050 that seemed visually fine on delivery. When we attempted to install it a week later, there was internal damage not visible from the outside. Samsung sent a rep to confirm the DW had likely been dropped to cause multiple internal issues. When we shared this with Build.com, they said they had no responsibility since damage was not reported in their 24-48 hr window EVEN THOUGH DAMAGE WAS INTERNAL and COULD NOT BE DETECTED FROM THE OUTSIDE. And when we reached out to Samsung they said their warranty doesnt cover new appliances that had never operated (i.e. delivered broken). So we are stuck with a yet to be installed dishwasher for which we just ordered replacement parts at our expense. I would avoid buying from Build.com that was unwilling to correct this situation despite nearly $20,000 of appliance purchases from them the past year alone. And I would also avoid purchasing Samsung appliances based on their customer service, or lack thereof.

About six years ago we bought a Samsung refrigerator. At first we were quite pleased. But that was short lived. After having the refrigerator for three years we noticed water accumulating in the bottom of the refrigerator. We soaked it up only to notice ice building up from the back. We broke the ice loose and cleaned it up to notice that the water and ice returned within a few weeks. The repairman replaced a few parts and told us that all Samsung are known for many problems ranging from electrical to mechanical such as the computer board, icemaker, and cooling units. After he left, I noticed that the shelves were sagging. The shelves no longer catch in their proper slots. I thought that perhaps the repairman didnt reinstall the parts correctly, but through my own inspection noticed no discrepancy. The refrigerator sides are simply bowing out causing the shelves to shift and sag. Recently, the water dispenser has stopped working, the food at the bottom of the refrigerator is freezing, and at this point I see no further reason to call for repair. Weve had the refrigerator for about six years and it is junk. Samsung has brought credence to the phrase They dont build them like they used to. What happened to the 20-year appliance?

Purchased Samsung Refrigerator in April of 2019, by Sept of 2019 freezer stopped working, a week later refrigerator stopped working. Called samsung and they sent out 2 different repair places, first one told us it was a sealed system and they did not work on those. Called Samsung back and asked them to replace the refrigerator they said they would have to try to repair first and unless there was a second problem that came up they would not replace it. Well that second problem was the refrigerator stopped cooling, I placed a thermometer that I purchased in refrigerator and took pictures, of temperature. The thermometer said 48 degrees while Samsung digital readout said it was 34 degrees. We lost over $400 dollars with of food and we see that Samsung will possibly reimburse up to $200 (maybe). Second repair person came out and said that he could not fix problem today that he would have to order parts which would take 3-5 days to get then schedule another appointment to do a temporary fix, he said he would recharge the system and then when we saw a temperature change of 10 degrees to call them and they would send a tech back out to attempt to find the leak. He stated that once they found the leak they would have to order parts and schedule another appointment to fix said it could take 2-3 weeks. All he did was take down serial number and model number never even checked out to see if he could find a problem. I called Samsung back and they did their Usual BS trying to get me to wait on repairs that could take another 2-3 weeks. I told her how about I come to your house and take your refrigerator away and you have nothing to store food in would that be an inconvenience. She said I understand your frustration but there is nothing I can do. I asked to speak to supervisor and she finally approved to replace the refrigerator said it would take approximately 7-14 days to get a replacement. Their Customer service Sucks. The refrigerator is a POS. I will never purchase any Samsung Products no matter what From here on out. Save yourself the headache and stress of having to deal with them and buy anything but Samsung. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON SAMSUNG APPLIANCES!!!! THIS PRODUCT DOESNT EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR RATING!!!! But unable to give it a negative rating.

Does not clean dishes. Will not run, several attempts to restart. This happens all the time. Frequently find broken bits of plastic in throughout the inside of the unit after a run. Motor makes grinding noises. Samsung is aware that they have mfrd. a dud, to the extent that they have stopped making our model. Our unit is only two years old. I wrote a review earlier this month and I had my 1 ½ yr old Samsung RF217 French Door replaced with the SAME MODEL to give Samsung a chance to redeem themselves. I received the new fridge on September 12, 2013. The installation process was horrible and I will address that with the retail company in person. Anyhow, instead of the Fridge portion being too warm like the RF217 part 1, now RF217 part 2 is an overactive FREEZER. Please note I DO NOT use the ice maker, I have that feature turned off, But for some reason I have snow cones being made in my freezer and I cannot open the top drawer as it is FROZEN SHUT. The installers set it up per manufacturer direction temperatures -2 freezer and 38 for the Fridge. Consumer ignorance?? I think not. Samsung Corp. you make a horrific product and I will be pleading with the store that I bought it from to give me back my money in full so I can go back to my normal life. I cannot and will not eat out for another week, month or year because my $1500 refrigerator does not work properly. And just so we are clear, ALL THREE OF MY SAMSUNG Refrigerators were BRAND NEW. ALL THREE WERE FAULTY. I hope this is clear enough that three times is not a charm. In addition to the bad manufacturing, the delivery service managed to deliver a scratched left front French door, left all the packaging inside, dumped about a gallon of water onto my Laminate Floor which I had to personally dive to the ground with bathroom towels because the water would absolutely ruin the floor and they SCRATCHED the side and front of my BRAND NEW WASHING MACHINE, and then denied the damage. I was literally standing right there during the entire install. Hello I was the one cleaning up the water so of course they scratched it. My towel sure didnt. Anyhow, bad product, bad service, and subpar customer service equals the end of customer loyalty to Samsung. Samsung get out of the appliance business.

When our microwave broke, we were planning to replace with the same brand we had, but the Samsung was such a handsome model, we were drawn to it. Dishwasher worked great for 6 months or so. Much quieter than previous dishwasher. Loved the extra space on the top rack. Samsung Dishwasher DW80F800UWS. Started intermittently displaying OE error code. We would try again, shake things, etc. Eventually it would run. Now, it consistently fails, having tried 10+ times in a row. I opened things up and clean parts and reassembled it. I tried what I thought was the most vigorous setting... pots and pans with storm wash. Failed within a minute. I took out all the dishes and racks. Now... it works. Bottom rack. Works fine. Top rack... fails.Experimenting a bit, it fails when the water first attempts to spray out the top rack. That nozzle at the back of the dishwasher hooks into the spinning bit on the bottom of the top rack. I cleaned and rinsed it with vinegar to remove any build up. Still fails. Of course I let it all dry and tried again. Now it fails and the top part is still dry. I smack the side of it a few times and now its sort of working again. No telling how long until it fails again. It is so aggravating.

Samsung fridge display went out. The repair tech said I would have to pay $650 to fix this fridge -- I am appalled! The fridge cost us $2500 and I see that going down the drain. Lowes where I bought the fridge was not helpful and neither was Samsung. I think these fridges should be recalled -- how many dissatisfied customers is it going to take to get this fridge removed from the market? As customers we should be compensated.

After reading the articles on here I realize I am not alone in realizing my high end dishwasher is a piece of expensive junk. The only washing I got done was the washing that my bank account took. Barely had it a year and getting a non stop LE code. Pulled the unit out and there is no leak anywhere that I can find. I was silly and did not buy an extended warranty as I thought I bought a quality product, never again. I refuse to pay anyone to repair it and have it fail again. I will buy another one but I promise I will not buy anything with the name Samsung on any item. The joke on me is I replaced a working one that was noisy for this high end quiet one. Yup....cant hear any noise coming from it.

I bought a Samsung mirror-finished two-door fridge at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in 2007, in Geant Store Khuraise. My kids phoned me that it is not getting cold. I said to them, they must switch it off as it might burn them. It never made some ice. It was installed by Nirvana Ageng Samsung Polopkoane. I told them the same agent came and open my fridge, and he said it is the compressor. I must wait so that they can check if it is still under warranty. They never came back.We kept on calling him, but no answer. I went to Bokstreet Samsung branch. They said it is not under warranty. If it never makes some ice, they will fix it, but I will pay all costs+transportation. Now it is about 3 years. I reported it to South Africa, and Riyadh , Saudi Arabia. I need my money back or a new fridge. I will give you up to the end of this month. I will go to LG. I paid a lot of money for that fridge. I have already sent my complaint to consumer lawyers.

We purchased the Samsung Microwave brand new less than 18 months ago. Installation was done professionally and we experienced no initial issues, however, one evening out of nowhere we began to smell burning plastic coming from the kitchen. Upon further inspection, the Samsung Microwave was smoking, heating up and began smoldering. The microwave was plugged into an outlet and hung above the stove but not in use when the incident occurred. No electrical issues from the power lines or outlet itself. Fire department advised it was caused by the Microwave. Glad we were home otherwise the entire house would be up in flames from the microwave spontaneously combusting. Would not recommend, stay away!!

Our Samsung refrigerator RFG298HDRS stopped dispensing water. At first I could remove the 4 month old filter and put it back in and the dispenser worked for 2 weeks. Every 2 weeks I would do this. Finally I replaced the filter and it would not give us any water at all. I was using Samsung filters Model DA29-00020B. Samsung tech the first time had me checking the 2 ice makers that would not work. They told me I had knock off filters from Amazon. Then I took the filter out and tried the water everything began to work. Ice makers ran and water dispensed. Called Tech support again. The guy told me that this was the first thing they should have had me try. Since that works its a bad filter. Well. I have now purchased 7 filters spent over $200 and still NOTHING works. I have noticed that Samsung has changed the filter a little too. Different label, Smaller center hole than the original for water to enter the filter however even the larger hole filters which I still had did not work.... Also the literature in the new filters boxes is not accurate. It states to put the replacement label date on the installed filter which there are NO longer any labels supplied and it also states to remove the BLUE cap... The cap is white. Even after buying the filters at Lowes they do not work. Samsung swears to me the fridge is ok since it works without the filter.... I have a tech coming out in 2 weeks the soonest they could arrive. But the techs tell me Samsung does not provide support for them in trouble shooting either. Samsung needs to change the way they do business! As much as they charge for these refrigerators, this is consumer robbery. My fridge is only 3 years old.

Bought unit (Samsung over the range microwave model SMH1622B) in Dec. 2014. Lately when I put something into it, as soon as I close the door, the light inside it comes on and the turntable starts spinning. It does not stop if I press the stop/clear button. The only way to stop it is to open the door. If I press the stop/clear button while the door is open it does nothing, as the unit starts up again as soon as I close the door. The ONLY thing that stops this is if I open the door, press the 1 {1 second} button, close the door, and then press start. The unit then cooks for 1 second, and finally shuts off.

We struggled with a Samsung RF263 for 3 years. Finally it shut off with NO WARNING; was 50 degrees when I realized it. THIS is a major food safety issue, especially with elders who may not pay attention and have repeated bouts of diarrhea because of spoiled food! I reported this as a safety issue to CPSC. Within 48 hours I was contacted by Samsung to schedule a COURTESY tech visit - this after they repeatedly claimed the behavior was normal. He moved the sensor! Two years later I can say I am very happy with the damned thing. Had two Samsung Microwaves let the smoke out with a year of purchase. Lowes replaced first, I threw out the second. Turns out the power transformer uses copper clad wire rather then solid. Bought a GE and NO issues. Then there was the LED TV fiasco. Kept turning off after three years. Almost threw it out until I discovered the class action settlement where they had to to come to the home, replace the 15 cent electrolytic capacitors in the power supply with 50 cent capacitors. Turns out there was actually a business where savvy people bought up broken tvs and replaced the caps. Took the tech all of 15 minutes to do in my home. Samsung close engineers their products. I will NEVER buy another Samsung even though I expect this refrigerator to work for another 15 years. Want to get it fixed? File a food safety complaint with CPSC!!!

On August 2, 2018 a complaint was filed with New Jerseys Better Business Bureau against Samsung. The same day the BBB forwarded my complaint to Samsung and to my surprise the same day we received a phone call from Jamie ** from the Office of The President. Mrs. ** set up an appointment with Service Quick to repair the product for August 6, 2018.On August 6, 2018 I received a phone call from the technician assigned to my repair. Before even showing up at my house he told me he didnt have the parts to repair the refrigerator. He also stated that he was unaware of the refrigerator not working. He stated that the compressor issue is outside of his expertise and would need to be rescheduled. We had to wait another week without a refrigerator and I also needed to request another day off of work to accommodate the repair.I reached out to Mrs. ** to receive guidance because of the above miscommunication. Several phone calls and e-mails were sent to Mrs. ** and were never answered. Why reach out to someone to help solve a problem if you are only going to ignore them. It makes the situation much worse than better. Our refrigerator was repaired on Monday August 13, 2018. On Wednesday August 15, 2018 we purchased groceries. We woke up this morning to the freezer failing two days after the repair and losing all groceries that were in the freezer for a second time. Service Quick is wanting us to wait additional time to schedule the repair.During the conversation with Mrs. ** it was expressed that this was a one time accommodation to repair the unit. This ended up being a sealed system repair per the ticket. This is covered under the five year manufactured warranty per the technician and also our paperwork. So I am not sure what the one time accommodation is and why this is being treated as if Samsung is doing us a favor by fixing the product which is still under their manufactured warranty.I have already taken two days off of work between two technicians and now am being asked to take an additional day off of work. I need your assistance in getting someone out here to finalize this repair and/or replacement. Paperwork was given to the repairmen showing the ice-maker had been replaced (4) times previously. Now it has been replaced five times. This certainly falls up under Californias lemon law. As a consumer I have presented the product to the manufacturer or its representative so they could diagnose the defect and repair it. Along with the duty, as a consumer I have the right to expect the product will be repaired honestly and expeditiously. I have left prior to today a total of three telephone messages and three e-mails for Mrs.**. All have remained unanswered.

I refuse to give Samsung any further business due to their lack of customer service and support. Ive had 4 service calls to fix problem and each technician visit had a different story as to why it occurs. However it reoccurs in less than a year. This makes no sense at all since our house is on a full-house water softener and filtration system. Now Samsung will not admit or take ownership of the fact their this model is faulty. We purchased this Samsung Dishwasher in May of 2013 mainly to replace our 15 year old Whirlpool contractors grade dishwasher, even though, it still cleaned my dishes with no problems. It was a breeze to load and the dishes still sparkled after 16 years of use. We were planning a kitchen renovation within the next several months, so we decided to start with the replacement of the ugly, old, but still effective Whirlpool. We went with Samsung because of its reputation as an electronics top brand. Our whole family had Samsung smart phones and TVs and had no complaints. Apparently that is where Samsung should concentrate their efforts. This dishwasher has NEVER properly cleaned our dishware. After 2 + years, Ive yet to find a sensible pattern to place the dishware for cleaning. My Whirlpool was so easy to load. This one is ridiculous. Even following the manufacturers guidelines, the dishes still do not get clean. I will say however, that it is QUIET! You can barely hear it running. I guess it doesnt need to make a lot of noise if its not doing anything productive. I am so disappointed in this $800 purchase. The stainless steel does, or did, look nice when we first got it. Very soon after, the stainless steel became stained, even though I carefully followed manufacturers instructions on cleaning the surface. Shortly after the 1st anniversary of purchase, while wiping down the front of the dishwasher one morning, the entire SAMSUNG lettering came off on my dishcloth. So now, we dont have to be embarrassed that we have a Samsung kitchen appliance. This purchase has not been in vain however, because we now make sure to always read reviews first before making any purchases of large ticket items. BTW, love our LG washer & dryer, still perfect after 8 yrs of use! Really glad we didnt purchase the Samsung refrigerator, we were so sure we wanted. But thats another story!

STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG APPLIANCES! In 2015, we installed Samsung appliances in our kitchen in conjunction with an extensive remodel. Worse move we ever made. Boy do I wish we could turn back the clock. The dishwasher failed 2 months after we installed it, and we literally had to give up our first-born child to get a replacement unit even though it was still within the 1 year warranty. Next, the element in the oven failed (3 times to date) as well as the control board which set us back $250. The microwave has always had a mind of its own, and will often beep and turn lights on and off during the middle of the night. Since it still seems to work, we are leaving it alone. Finally, the ice-maker in the refrigerator door freezes up and causes a mess, and needs to be defrosted once a month. Apparently, this is a very common problem with Samsung refrigerators. Another reason to stay away from this product. Amazingly enough, we contacted Samsung no less than 10 times regarding these issues and the response has always been your appliances are out of warranty, too bad so sad. If you are planning on purchasing Samsung appliances, I would highly recommended you do your research first and go with another brand! I for one will NEVER buy their products again.

I had a Whirlpool for 11 years and wanted a new stainless steel model. I got this 2 years back from Best Buy. I didnt get the extended warranty because I never used it with my old dishwasher and all money was just gone waste. The Samsung brand proved to be my nightmare. I had to call tech service twice in 1 year. Then again after year for which I paid through my own pocket. The dishes are never clean and top shelf never gets dry. I wash all with a soap, rinse with water then again run the dishwasher. If you put the dish without washing it doesn’t get clean. The material used inside, smells like a rubber and I think my old dishwasher was much sturdier than this WaterWall. Additionally, you have to baby it. The door lock gave up after 1 year, so changed it. Now again and again we keep getting error messages. I am just tired of this washer. I will not recommend anyone to buy.

I bought a beautiful Samsung refrigerator in July. It has water/ice on the door and a second climate drawer. Laid out perfectly - plenty of storage. In August, we noticed it was leaking water under the filter so we replaced the filter and it didnt improve. We turned off the water to the fridge and the leak continued. We called a repairman, through Samsung, and waited a couple of days for him to come. He diagnosed a broken valve and had to order a replacement part that he thought would take 8-10 days. When I hadnt heard back in 3 weeks, I called the repair company and they said the part was back ordered. They suggested I contact Samsung to get an estimated delivery time. Thus began 6 weeks of me contacting Samsung, spending hours on the phone, asking the same question, repeating the same story to every person I spoke with. Finally, I could stand it no longer and begged to be escalated. I finally found out there was no estimated time - no one knew if this part would ever be available. In the meantime, I have to daily mop up the water that comes out and floods under the produce bins; the second drawer is not usable because the water fills it and freezes. It ruins any food packaging. The water also spills out the drawers onto the floors and my hardwood floors are now damaged. I was escalated to Jaz. What a disappointment. She ignored my calls for days and only finally tried to speak with me when I hit 0 from her voice mail and begged another rep to help me. This lady definitely needs additional training in handling angry customers. She ultimately offered to swap the fridge, a frustrating process because we have a small opening and in your newer model of this fridge, youve added side vents that arent included in the specs and wont fit the opening. We finally came to a solution on October 31 and she 100% guaranteed that the new fridge would arrive on November 14 at the latest. On November 17th, I called at the end of the day to say I still hadnt received the fridge, not that I was surprised at this point. She committed to getting back to me once she found out where it was. She left me a message at noon the following day to say that the fridge was with a local delivery company and she would call back when she had a time estimate. I called again today, November 19, and left another message. Its been almost 3 months since I could use my fridge properly. I still have to mop up the leaking water and theres a whole section of the fridge I cant even put food in, not to mention no ice or water. She did offer me $150 as repayment for food spoilage, but I have not seen hide nor hair of that either. This is the WORST experience Ive ever had with an electronics manufacturer and I still have no idea when it will be resolved.

Bought the unit last 2014 and started using it when we moved into our new unit in July 2014. Within 2 years, stains and discoloration appeared on both doors. In April 2017, have shelled out 1k plus for a replacement of what they called sensor, cause my freezer is not functioning. In less than 1 year, as of this writing, March 2018, it malfunctioned again, cant produce ice cubes and the whole unit is not cold enough to cool a pitcher of water. The mechanic from their authorized service center, checked it up and gave me an estimate amount of PHP5,000 to replace a leaked hose etc. I will now spend 6000 plus for a unit that I have used only for less than 4 years. I would rather buy a new unit if I have an extra money, and if I do never would I buy any appliances from this brand.

In 2010 our old dishwasher refused its duty after nearly 10 years of work. It was an AEG/Whirlpool and it made his work properly. So my wife and I decided to buy a new one. At last we gave the Samsung DW-SG720T a try and expected the same performance. First both of us discovered that nearly every dish was not clean at all. We changed the program to the hottest possible cleaning, but the machine did not meet the minimum requirements for cleaning knifes that are simply covered with peanut butter. This night (!) the machines front door stood open, after cleaning and after nearly 5 (five) hours ending the cleaning program without errors, the machine started to turn on the pump and made a signal while showing OE. My wife and I woke up, got downstairs in the kitchen and I had to turn off the fuse to stop it - it has been 1:20 am in the morning. Thanks a lot, Samsung! OE means overflow error but in fact there is no water in the machine after draining. I am angry about this piece of **. My recommendation is: Samsung? Hands off! I am interested in what the support is trying to tell me. Next time: AEG/Whirlpool, which is the same here in Germany.

Had a problem with the ice maker in my Samsung fridge (Samsung RFAERS266). Followed all the troubleshooting suggestions in the book, online, at the Samsung site, and on the phone with Samsung tech support. Finally scheduled an appointment for service through Samsung, technician arrived, unplugged the unit, plugged it back in, said that was all that was necessary to reset the computer, and left with my $100.00!! I wrote to Samsung and told them as a courtesy to their customers, this fix should have been somewhere in their literature or on their site. I was contacted by a rep from their customer service department, basically was told sorry, nothing they could do about it. I did request that they would at least publish this information along with their other troubleshooting suggestions. To date, I have not seen this information on their site. Just want to let others know to try this fix before paying for service call. There was NOTHING else wrong with my unit. Somehow the computer had lost its brain and needed to be reset. This happened out of the blue. No power outages precipitated this event. Very frustrating!! This was the third service call in three years on this expensive appliance. Would not buy another.

Nothing theyve done has fixed the problem. The water has been turned off and disconnected and the line drained. After three water (or something) is still leaking into the deli drawer and onto the floor. We filed a formal complaint with Samsung last week, the only response weve gotten is that it was received. I wish that I had read all of the negatives reviews regarding Samsung refrigerators before I purchased one. I will have to admit that I have had mine 4 yrs. & today is the first repair job but it seems to be the same problem that everyone is complaining about. I have had water collecting in both veg/fruit drawers. After $250.00, I hope the problem has been corrected. The FF was freezing & leaking per info on repair ticket??? The repairman replaced the heat probe. He said that many of these have had to be replaced. The original ones were too short & they are being replaced with longer ones. This sounds as if there should have been a recall since he told me that he had replaced several with the newer type probe. I do not have any hope of anything being done by Samsung but it sounds as if they should have addressed this problem instead of denying that there is a problem.

We bought the expensive Samsung Range Model #: NE59J3420SS when we upgraded our appliances. BIG mistake! From the start, the door didnt close tightly which makes the oven take forever to heat up and things dont cook correctly. The light inside the oven goes on and off intermittently, then the right front burner stopped working and then the left front burner stopped working (the only 2 large burners)! When I finally had had enough and called Samsung, they would do nothing because it had been over a year! There is OBVIOUSLY a defect with this model! We also bought a Samsung refrigerator and have had many problems with it as well. NEVER BUY A SAMSUNG APPLIANCE!

The first time this happened I didnt realize the temperature in the fridge was only 60 degrees because the display read 37 degrees. I ended up with food poisoning and was sick for a week. Each time this happens you need to unplug and defrost the ice off the coil. NOT FUN. Samsung should recall these and compensate customers.

We have had our refrigerator for only a couple of years. First the ice maker broke. Then it started making this loud noise that would stop when we opened the door. We had a technician come out and fix these problems. This was only a few months ago. Recently, I had noticed our milk didnt seem that cold even though the temp read 38 degrees. The problem started getting worse so we reset the fridge by unplugging it. This made the temp gauge work again and the true temperature was 66 degrees! After having already spent over $300 to repair this new refrigerator, I am reluctant to spend more to get this new problem fixed, especially after reading these complaints.

I purchased and a 2 door stainless steel refrigerator assembly and in 3 to 5 months we had to replace the ice maker - since then we are on our 4th ice maker. I have had many contacts with Samsung corp, and customer service and now that the unit is out of warranty they now tell me that the repairs will be at my cost - I simply requested a replacement unit for the one that I have. With saying that I have to add that I also have the microwave, oven, smart tv and dishwasher.I have been on the phones with Samsung tech support for hours going over what we are experiencing with their product - they just keep saying now that the unit is out of warranty and that I didnt purchase an extended warranty my request for a replacement unit is and I quote not an option. My question to them is that this problem was existing during the warranty period and 2 ice makers have been replaced during that time. I would think they would have taken that into consideration for it is obvious this problem was pre-existing prior to purchase. I guess their business is stronger than the consumers of their products. They stated to me the only thing they will offer is a one time free repair to the unit and that was the best they could do. I then asked if we have the repair done and 3-5 months again down the road this happens again then what? They said they could say at this time.In other words you just ** out of luck and $1500.00. I wasnt asking for restitution on any type. I just asked for a replacement unit and that was no longer an option because the unit was out of warranty. In closing, I must say I can no longer support the Samsung product. And in closing a message to the Samsung corporation - the definition of great company service is not defined when things are going right. It is defined when things are going wrong!!!!

Nowhere in the literature does it say that. I called Sears and Samsung multiple times in two days. If I plugged it in and the rest of the machine works, its not me plugging it in wrong! Samsungs customer service, or lack thereof makes me wish I could return this and put my old rusty one back. Dont buy from Samsung! Especially if you plug it in yourself! How ridiculous! We purchased a Samsung elec. range (FTQ353IWUX) in 2009/2010 from Best Buy with an extended warranty. Within the first year, the oven would initially come up to temp. but not hold that temp. and actually begin to fall off. Best Buy had a Geek Squad rep come out. He changed $400 in parts without fixing the problem. When, at my recommendation, he finally began to do some troubleshooting, we found that one of the wires to the baking element had burned off. He cut back the wire and installed a new terminal lug. As of this week, the same old problem surfaced. Being that the unit is now out of warranty, and me being a retired industrial electrician, I shut off the supply power and opened up the back of the range. I found that not only had the same wire burned off its terminal lug but additionally, the two power wires that feed the broiler element had burned up as well.I called Samsung today. I was told that since it is out of warranty, it is basically my problem even though this very same issue occurred while it was under warranty. They offered to have a service co. come out and look at the unit, at my cost. Right. Thank you so much Samsung, for nothing. I explained to the Samsung rep that with these wires being burned up, there were only a limited number of possibilities as to the cause including undersized wiring, undersized terminal lugs, and/or poor crimp connections. Her response was only that it was out of warranty. I expressed my concern that this was a safety issue but that too seemed to fall on deaf ears. Wow. This company really sucks!!

In late 2011 we bought the SMH1816W microwave to match the fridge purchased on the basis of a top rating from a consumer magazine, and the matching stove, dishwasher, washer and dryer at the same time. Not only was the consumer magazine wrong about the fridge, the microwave, dishwasher and washer all have issues or needed repairs. So far (knock on wood) the dryer and range havent broken. The microwave had to be repaired twice for the same problem which ended up costing $50 more than the price we originally paid for it. The fridge was replaced three times before Samsung finally admitted a manufacturing issue that caused the water line to the icemaker to freeze. A new freezer door was eventually installed with the corrected water line. The dishwasher drain pump failed after two years, and the washer is rusting at the bleach dispenser and detergent/softener holder. Once again Samsung claimed no responsibility. We live in a low humidity area (desert) so its not possible that we caused the problem. Not only has it been costly for repairs, but we wasted close to a hundred hours dealing with Samsung. Their support is abysmal, they make it as difficult as possible to even communicate with them - then all you get are stock answers. Requests to escalate to Executive Customer Relations are ignored, or delayed to the point you can do without your broken appliance and end up paying yourself. Samsung is by far the worst company Ive dealt with in 50 years, and as far as major appliances they have the worst quality of any we have ever purchased.Updated 10/22/2016: Of course, now our washer is listed as one of the models that can blow up during the spin cycle, response from Samsung - wash large loads on delicate only. We are taking bets on whether it falls apart from rusting or spinning first! Microwave - dead again - this time we are replacing it with another brand - Samsung quality is non-existent, support is useless. Bottom line, they have sacrificed quality and support for a quick profit, and will lose millions of customers because of this.

I bought model RS267 LBSH side by side in May 08 from Lowes. Right off, the ice maker never worked properly and we were blown off by repair (it never dispensed cubed ice and will block up with big chunks). Digital temperature reading seemed to be off. At times, things in the freezer were frozen rock hard and at other times almost soft. Reading the complaints, we should have bought an in fridge temp checker as I know the temps were fluctuating a lot although the in door reading showed a constant 0 and 38 degrees. Today, the unit quit cooling, but the door temps still read normal. We would not have known until the next morning except that hubby went into the freezer for a popsicle and they were melting. We threw stuff in the chest freezer, and put fridge stuff outside since its in the 30s here right now. I tried all the troubleshooting (what little I could find) from the Samsung site and nothing worked. After going through the complaint, I feel lucky we got 3 1/2 years before the 60 degree mark. Now, Im trying to decide whether to trash our good looking but problem prone fridge and buy another. Im not sure I want to pay for iffy repairs if we can even find anyone here that will work on them. Its the first time I have ever had a major appliance quit working like that so young in its age. This makes me never want to buy another Samsung product again. Ive had cheap dishwashers that did a FAR BETTER job than this overpriced piece of junk! I bought a mid-priced dishwasher with the hidden controls on top. It was very quiet, but found out it was quiet because it wasnt cleaning! I had the technicians come out (under 1 yr warranty) and they replaced the main board, saying that it wasnt activating one of the cleaning mechanisms. After running some diagnostics and saying it was now working correctly, I did another load of dishes. Although they came out a little bit cleaner, and I mean VERY LITTLE, it was still sub-par.I now have to pre-scrub every dish and piece of silverware before washing, and even then, have to wash some again after the load finishes because of dried soap or debris that wasnt washed off. HORRIBLE DISHWASHER! Although Im pretty satisfied with the other appliances I bought as a group (Stove, Microwave, Fridge), I will NEVER buy nor recommend a Samsung Dishwasher ever again. They need to stick to semiconductors and leave the appliances to other more experienced and reliable manufactures.

We purchased this high end very pricey fridge, a high end matching gas range and dishwasher so we spent a pretty decent amount of money. The set was ordered from a local appliance store and was NOT a scratch & dent product. While from a distance the fridge looks fantastic, dont look too close. Under the factory packaging (plastic protective packaging & cardboard was not damaged at all) there were numerous scratches and a small dent in the upper left door. I would expect a new expensive appliance such as this would not arrive in this condition. The appliance store is closing and unable to order a new refrigerator or even just a new door. I dont need an entire new fridge, just an undamaged door.Samsung feels it is our problem and refused to do anything about it. While waiting on hold the recorded message spoke of their commitment to customer service. Well we didnt get that, in fact just the opposite. Interesting is that we really like Samsung and have always promoted their products. This is the first issue weve had and they failed us. I would not recommend this product due to how fragile it seems to be and Samsung will not make it right. I have a beautiful new kitchen with very nice high end Samsung appliances, except for the scratched and dented fridge. Is this really what I waited for all these years? Extremely disappointed. How hard would it be to replace my door? Any other appliance store would have sent it back to Samsung and requested a replacement from Samsung. Why cant Samsung just do that for me?Thanks alot Samsung. Also, I submitted this same review on Samsungs site and guess what? They wont post it.

We bought our Samsung dishwasher two years ago and have had problems ever since. The dishwasher stops working and error lights start to flash. We have had it fixed a couple of times and it keep doing the same thing. This product is a piece of junk and not worth the money at all. I would honestly give it -5 stars if that was allowed. Do not buy this product. You would be wasting your money.

We purchased a Samsung dishwasher... Awesomely quiet but this dishwasher has a stench from ** (so bad that I refuse to rate this unit... Well I had to or I couldnt post my review). No matter how I try to clean it... bleach, ammonia, vinegar or one of the dishwasher disinfectants that you can buy... it still stinks... the same with the front loader machines... What can I do to get rid of the stench? Im about ready to go chew on someone knowing its NOT their fault. I thought Id purchase a well known dependable brand name but I think Id.... Let me rephrase that, I know I like my Magic Chef 100% more than this top dollar unit. Its a shame that the USA allows such crap to be imported from another country... Lesson well learned... DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG DISHWASHER!!!

I bought a Samsung Appliance Package from Home Depot. Dishwasher - junk - replaced after 6 months with KitchenAid. Refrigerator ice maker freezes up multiple times. Repair dude comes out, defrosts, mumbles something about airleak, put caulk in. Ice maker still freezes up. Notice that ice is coming out of back panel. Force defrost - nope. Repair dude again - removes all shelves and pulls back panel - block of ice. Informs me that this model has icing up issues. Multiple ice maker freezes ups and rear panel freeze up over the following year. Finally had enough and ordered LG which is awesome. The most sad part is Home Depot charged me $25.00 to make this defective junkbox away.

We bought this refrigerator from LOWES in 2016 for just under $2600; we didnt know the icemaker had a problem until after the warranty expired because we didnt live in that house but for a few months of the year just before we retired. It froze up and the plastic bin cracked when we removed it from the freezer. The repairman replaced just about everything that could be replaced in the icemaker and we were charged $1170!!! Within 2 months of that expense, the thing froze up again. The repairman just left, didnt charge since we were within the 90-day period of the first repair. But he said Samsung told him they would not replace our refrigerator, they might give us a break on the price of another... What a load of rotten tomatoes!!! There should be a recall, and I should get my money back for having bought their defective product and for the expense of the repairs. The angst and inconvenience should be financially compensated for, too, but I am not holding my breath.

I had a new Samsung refrigerator RF220NCTASR delivered July 2, 2014 and it hasnt worked properly from day one. I contacted Home Depot, where I bought it and they advised me I had to deal with Samsung directly. Despite two of Samsungs technician calls and numerous discussions with their Executive Customer Relations (ECR), there is still no resolution today! The refrigerator portion will not get any colder than about 45 deg. F despite the refrigerator being set as cold as it can be (seven blue lights). I have gone as high in their ECR as I can (according to them), with only apologies and broken promises to show. I faxed a letter to Samsung Canadas President on December 1, 2014 but have had no response. Samsung certainly doesnt appear to be capable or willing to resolve this basic warranty issue in a timely fashion.

My first complaint with my fridge (RF217ACWP) is that the paint on the handles is peeling! I bought this (Samsung French Door Refrigerator) in 2012 and I called them in 2014 after warranty and told me they could not do anything that I would have to buy new ones, each one $230.00. Of course I didnt and they are still peeling!!! It looks like someone just took a hammer to it and chipped it off!! Also the 2nd complaint is freezing in refrigerator underneath vegetable drawers and water in the vegetable bins! Also, the ice maker is broken!! Just like everyone elses complaints! I hope something good comes out of the lawsuit for us consumers!!

French door refrigerator. The worst hunk of junk second fridge in 5 years. First ice maker fan was replaced twice. Then the icing started in ice maker has to be cleaned every 2 weeks. Then behind panel in fridge loud fan noise. Service man came out 4 times to clean ice build up and replace heat element in drain. Well can you believe it did not work. So now I get to empty the fridge every 3 weeks, take the panel off to clean all the ice out around the fan and build up on the lines. The sad part is they know all about these problems and do nothing. Would never buy another Samsung again. Thank you Samsung for giving me some extra work to do every month.

We purchased the Samsung model DMT 300 RFS dishwasher from Lowes. We are extremely unhappy with the performance. First, it has broken over a dozen glasses, a problem we have never had with other dishwashers. Also, after every load, we are rewashing some dishes by hand due to poor cleaning. We have tried different rinse agents and detergents and more extensive pre-cleaning but nothing helps. But the straw that broke the back was a problem four days out of warranty that we had to pay to get fixed. The staff on the help line was rude at best but far better than the supervisor I spoke with. I will not buy another Samsung product after the way she treated me. My advice is if you buy Samsung, buy the extended warranty - youll need it!

Samsung Microwave model # SMH8165ST - I bought this microwave in May of 2011, and it has gone out on me flashing the SE error code across the keypad. Nothing helps; the breaker is not tripped and I tested the plug to make sure it works. It is completely un-usable and of course the warranty has expired. I had to pay $500 plus to get it installed over my stove and a week or so later, pay an electrician another $500 to put in a new breaker for it because it kept tripping. I have been reading a lot of reviews on Samsung models with the very same problem. It appears to me that these should have been recalled long ago, but Samsung continued to sell them.I am 73 and on a fixed income, have no husband to make repairs, and pulling the thing out of my kitchen is out of the question for the moment. It looks like Im stuck; I feel this microwave should have served me for many years no more than I use it. Next week, 7 grandchildren will be here for a week for Camp Grandy and I cant imagine not having a working microwave! Hopefully, this helps someone else. I will certainly steer away from Samsung products from now on. I gave it 2 stars because it did last almost 3 years.

I have a Samsung refrigerator that I purchased about 3 years ago. Last Christmas we lost power for about 10 seconds and the refrigerator stopped working. I unplugged it and waited about 10 minutes and plugged it in again, and it started up again. Whoever heard of such a thing? I noticed one of the doors to the refrigerator was lower than the other, and scraping on the freezer door below... Ice maker is available, but I dont use it, and the cover kept falling off. Eventually the small box fell down into the freezer and I had to keep adjusting it until a friend finally unhooked it. Last night, (Sat. night) I opened the refrigerator door and noticed the temp. was 48 degrees. I unplugged again and waited 1/2 an hour then plugged it in again. It didnt work. I went to bed and this morning the refrigerator was working. I had a Samsung smart tv that lasted about 14 months and stopped working. My repairman said it could not be fixed and he had never seen such a cheaply made tv... I will never, ever, buy another Samsung product...

I purchased the Samsung dishwasher model DMR78AHS at Lowes in May 2010. Also, I reluctantly bought the extended warranty program, but in hindsight, Im glad I did. After about a year, we started hearing a slight grinding noise. I called service and they determined that all (12) of the plastic basket clips had broken off and lodged in the motor (impeller). The service tech had to disconnect the unit, pull it out, and turn it over to remove all of the plastic tabs. Luckily, the impeller was not damaged. The tech said that this is a very common problem with Samsung dishwashers. He installed new basket clips, supposedly made out of stronger plastic, but I seriously doubt it. I am very disappointed in Samsung kitchen appliances and will not purchase from them again.

The 10 year warranty they so proudly display on the outside is nonexistent. It is one year and even they don’t want to come out. You have to beg and beg for them to send someone. Then in Christmas day her refrigerator freezer quit working. We called the extended warranty company. They had a man come out January 6th (12 days after the unit went out) to assess. He ordered the needed part that day. The part didnt come in until January 15th. Needless to say, it still hasnt been repaired... the repairman is scheduled to come on January 20th for repair. They did not offer to rent her a refrigerator freezer during this time. She is on medication that must stay refrigerated. This is unacceptable customer service. If a 0 was available for rating I would rate Samsung with a 0... Never again will they have my business. I purchased my Range glasstop NE59J3420SS at Home Depot on April 2016. Not even a week I was cooking and heard a loud pop noise and removed my pot and saw that the glass was cracked. I immediately called Samsung and the conversation started nicely and was under the impression that they would fix it since the agent told me they would. I send pictures of the damage and of receipt of purchase. They told me they would call me... Never received a call from them. So I called a week later to see what was going on and they had closed my case because no pictures were received they said, which is bs. New agent created a new case number and had to resent everything. She said I had to wait for 3 days and they would call me with an appt sent up for a technician to come and look at it. Again never received a call so called them... They gave me the appt for the technician to come and thought he was gonna fix it. Instead he left with no answers to my questions so called Samsung back and they kept saying they would fix it. Waited and waited and waited and nothing from them. Called again to see what was going on and said again they would send a new technician to look at it. Dont know why. They already seen pictures. But the new technician that came was checking our oven which our oven was working and told him it was the cracked top not the oven and again left with no answers. I called them and said they would call me back. Again they never did. After weeks of waiting for their call I called them back and said it was physical damage and would not be covered. Wtf... Not even a ** week with it and still fully under warranty and they wouldnt fix it. This company is really a ** joke. I was calling them constantly for over 5 months to get this fixed for them to tell me at last that they would not fix it. Very disappointed and frustrated process to go thru with this company. Never ever again will be buying from them. And to make it worst Im still paying Home Depot for this???? PLEASE BE AWARE!!!

I bought all Samsung appl. when we built but Im having second thoughts... the refrigerator (side by side with water ice on outside) is not all worth the $$. The size gets cramped inside without a lot of shelving room and the outside ice dispenser always clogs and you stand there for minutes until the big globs of crushed ice falls out because if you dont get it out when you open the fridge door it all falls on the floor. This is accurate and fair. Here it goes. I purchased this refrigerator in 2014 from the Home Depot. I also purchased the 5 yr extended warranty (just in case). It all began with them delivering the wrong unit and it also had a hole in the back from a forklift. The delivery company left it in my driveway and drove off and in the process, ran into and wrecked my neighbors picket fence and would not share insurance information for replacement. Yes. HD sent two young men to pick up the fridge without a lift on the back so all of us had to heft this into a high bed truck to remove it. Ended up renting a truck and picking up and installing the new one ourselves. So I have had this refrigerator for 10 months and it stopped cooling in the fridge and the freezer. I want to add that the vegetable storage units do not keep the vegetables for long at all. They go bad after a couple of days. Back to the technicians, 3, yes 3 hours on the computer chat with a (3) tech(s) from Samsung to reset the OFF reading on the digital display. After 3 hours of attempting to reset and do all the bells and whistles to reset, the tech(s) then tell me that the panel is bad and needs a technician to go to the home location and repair it. They said to call Samsung to create a ticket. Ok, also called Asurion who has the warranty. They said they would create a ticket and send me a food loss form. Sent food loss form and then Im told that a reimbursement will not be issued until after the repair? I then call Samsung who tells me that there should be a repair person by Wednesday or Thursday (it is Saturday) and they would create a ticket. Then I called the Home Depot who tells me that if the issue was not solved by Wednesday or Thursday they would send me a check for the fridge or a new one? WTH? Its now Thursday (6 days after fridge quits) and no one knows about the problem or any ticket issued. I snapped. We then start all over. I am then told that it is a simple fix and I would have to pay for the repair? NO, NO, NO. I am then sent to the secondary customer person who then creates ANOTHER repair ticket and tell me that the repair person will call me in about 48 hours or so and cannot even conceivably come until next Tuesday or Wednesday. No we are into 11 days of this issue. So, this Samsung refrigerator has NO repair people in this area and yet they are continuously sold. Now what? I paid over $2,200 (on sale) for this absolute piece of mechanical scrap with the worst customer service ever. NEVER, and I mean NEVER purchase this refrigerator or any Samsung refrigerator, NEVER. Repeat that to yourself.

We purchased our fridge Jan 2014 and at first happy with it. Year and a half later the noise started. I could see through the small holes on the inside back, it was frozen over. Ice was coming through the small holes. The noise was awful. Then it quit cooling and the top ice maker quit. Repairman said it had frozen up and the fan that blows the cold air out into the fridge had gone out. The ice maker had quit because it also was frozen over. He took the ice maker drawer out and it was a solid sheet of ice. He thawed it out and it began working again. Not sure for how long. He told me this was a bad problem and it wasnt worth replacing if it didnt start back working after being thawed. Fortunately it did begin making ice again. I guess in the future I will just thaw the ice maker out when it quits again. He ordered another fan, and as a note it was on back order and it took them from Oct to Jan for the part to come in. Now a month later the noise has started again. So I will be calling a repairman again. Not sure what he will say this time. I would not recommend anyone buying a Samsung refrigerator. My brother had bought this same fridge around the same time I did, and it has done the same thing with them. Terrible noise and replacing the fan. His ice maker has gone out 3 times and they have replaced it each time. Why would they continue making this piece of junk? I cant believe I paid 2000 for such this crap. Thus, while we like the design of the fridge, this annoying feature must be a design flaw. We are going to try an LG, and then go back to our old fridge.

Side by Side Refrigerator RS265TDRS is approx. 3 yrs old. Problems with ice
Side by Side Refrigerator RS265TDRS is approx. 3 yrs old. Problems with ice maker freezing up and not making ice since I have owned it. Ice maker replaced one time during warranty, but I continue to have the same problem. Now the refrigerator will not cool, found that the back of the fridge was frozen and the evaporator fan motor will not work. Had to defrost refrigerator with hair dryer. Just read all the reviews with the same complaints. Wish I had read the reviews before buying, but I will not make the same mistake of buying from Samsung twice. I am ready for the class action lawsuit.
