Just before a year of having the Samsung Glass top stove, the enamel in the bottom of the stove started to crack. I didnt notice at first but the cracks were getting larger and showing in different areas of the bottom of the stove. I attempted to address the issue with Samsung, but days after sending pictures and receipts, they said that they would not cover it. They said its a esthetic issue. They wont cover it! ENAMEL CRACKED in less than one year of use with all the rust that come out its a esthetic Thing! What a JOKE. Samsung company is a big joke. Theyre the worst you can imagine with the worst service you can get. They treat people as bad as they can. We arent the kind of people who even have time to lose on writing reviews. But this time I find it necessary to warn everybody from the worst service they will get if for any reason they need them to repair their garbage products.

Purchased a samsung dishwasher model dw80f600wtb. This is supposedly an $800.00 dishwasher. It worked well for about 13 months. Then I start getting error lights for no reason. Lowes wont stand behind what they sold me ($2500.00 worth of appliances) and neither will Samsung. I should have known after my Samsung clothes washer drain kept getting clogged with things and had to be cleaned out every month to the point I gave that $800 wash machine away for free. But no I didnt learn, I bought an $800.00 dishwasher that is now useless unless I want to pay upwards of $200.00 to have it fixed. I will NEVER EVER BUY ANOTHER SAMSUNG PRODUCT!

Spent 3 months with this service provider to fix my Samsung refrigerator. The results are my refrigerator is still not working after 100 days back and forth with the service. The service was covered by Samsung due to some product issue. But after spending hours to diagnosis and fix the issue, the fridge is still not working. Since then, I can never get contact to follow up again. Really sad that all the time is wasted and spent lots of time and money on it. Should buy a brand new fridge from the first beginning.

I have always been a fan of SAMSUNG products, so when I was gifted with a refrigerator I decided to upgrade my other appliances to SAMSUNG during Christmas of 2020. Installation was very quick. Trust me when I say SAMSUNG did not disappoint. My range is an electric ceramic top with convection model. It bakes very nicely and the cooktop cooks nice and evenly. Although it seems as though the bottom drawer is not as deep as my other range, it seems as though the inside of the oven was a little bigger. In regard to appearance, although stainless steel seems to be the rage right now, I opted for white and it is just as sleek and attractive. It is easy to use, easy to clean and I could see myself purchasing SAMSUNG appliances again!

We purchased a 3 door, 26 CU.Ft. French door Samsung refrigerator with an indoor water dispenser in November of 2012. Approximately a year and a half after the purchase, our refrigerator started making strange noises and there was water spilling out. We contacted Samsung and later had a technician from Best Buy come out and diagnose the refrigerator. Luckily he was able to repair it - he explained that the refrigerator had to be defrosted as the coils had frozen over. Since then, every five to six months we have had to defrost our refrigerator to keep it working. Ice builds up and the cooling element fails. We now keep a close eye on the fridge. The first time it froze over we lost food. Since then we have moved quick to defrost it before it appears to be running warm. But we do worry about the regular cooling in light of this problem. At bottom, this is not what we expected from our purchase. We bought a brand new refrigerator and have not received the quality we expected.

On February 4, 2017 we visited P.C. Richard and Son and we replaced all of our kitchen appliances with brand new Samsung appliances. In July while I was cleaning the glass cooktop on the range, which we purchased for $800, I noticed it was cracked. The crack appears to have started on the Rapid Boil burner and extended in all four directions to the edges of the top. I immediately contacted Samsung support, fully expecting that the damage would be repaired as the range was under warranty. With just two of us in the home, the range is lightly used and well cared for.The customer service agent asked that I send in pictures which I did that afternoon. I received a call from Samsung support looking for the photographs 3 days later – at that point I was told that the pictures would be reviewed and that they would get back to me. Three days later, I received a call from Williston TV and Radio Repair to arrange a time to come out to look at the stove. I expected that Samsung’s agent would be coming to repair the stove, however, when the representative arrived he took more pictures and told me to expect to hear back from Samsung in a few days.A few days went by and I was contacted by Williston and told that Samsung deemed the damage to be physical and as a result would not be covered under the warranty. I asked what the definition of physical damage entailed, and the definition I was provided was basically everything under the sun – cleaning solutions, inappropriate cookware, abuse, etc. In fact it seems that the definition is setup to protect Samsung even in the event of defect.Still in shock, I started to research to see if others experienced the same issue and I was surprised to find many complaints posted to sites online all had a similar story. I’ve attached some of the complaints along with our receipt to this letter. After finding that other consumers had a similar experience, I contacted Samsung to ask for a second opinion, I was told that would not possible so I asked to speak to a supervisor who told me that he would put in a work order for another opinion.Three days later I received a call back from Williston to setup a repair call – I explained that I was looking for a second opinion and was told by the representative that they were the only local Samsung agent and there would be no second opinions. Exasperated I inquired as to the cost to repair the cooktop thinking that a couple of hundred dollars out of pocket would be worth putting an end to this issue. I was informed that the cost to repair the range would be $400 - which is half the cost of range. Even if I pay for the repair, I have no guarantee that the replacement top would not have the same problem because I am convinced that product is defective. My husband and I have used glass cooktops since the 1980s and have never had a problem. The cookware we use has not changed, how we cook and care for the cooktop including cleaning fluids we use have not changed – and yet within 6 months this cooktop is completely ruined and is unusable and here we are in August and we can only cook using the oven and our microwave. I believe that Samsung has an obligation to stand behind its product and the warranty. I expect Samsung to fix the stove top or replace the range.

I have the Samsung RF267AEBP purchased from Sears ($2,100+) 01/02/2011. Shortly after the basic 1-year warranty ran out, the unit began routinely freezing up due to the known failure of the defrost cycle and/or heating coils and sensors malfunctioning. When the ice builds up over time, it locks up the fan motor from the glacier of ice (sounds horrible like a screech owl). Like others on this post and all over the Internet, I have to force the RF267AEBP into a manual defrost; when the ice melts, it fills the space under the Deli/Crisper drawer with water. The first time this happened, we did not realize that the ice could not drain normally due to a defective drain (Note: The defrost water drain has been reported to be too short to drain properly after the refrigerator goes through a defrost cycle). So, after turning the unit back on, the backed up water that pools under the Deli/Crisper drawer freezes into a solid two feet by one inch sheet of ice! Not knowing what was going on, we could not get the Deli/Crisper opened without pulling very hard on it and that brought the entire sheet of ice out and onto the kitchen floor, creating one big dangerous mess! Now, the ice maker is making loud clicking and banging sounds, and the ice maker has malfunctioned too with inconsistent delivery of odd sized ice cubes (more like chunks of ice) and it, too, now freezes up. We have regularly replaced the filter (@ $30+ each) that does basically nothing but filter water for the ice maker and the water dispenser. This has been the most frustrating and expensive major appliance ownership experience I have ever had with a major appliance in over 40+ years of home ownership.Samsung, you should provide us customers that have suffered through the purchase and repair of this known defective refrigerator full refunds for these known manufacturer defective refrigerators and/or provide a totally brand new replacement of equal value regardless of the customer’s choice. This is an expensive major appliance and we should not be having these problems that are clearly a quality control problem of widespread proportions. If I am not contacted by your warranty and customer relations department with a satisfactory resolution, I will be forced to sign on to the class action suit and add my model to the long and growing list of models already posted on the website. I will also have my day in small claims court for not just the cost of the defective refrigerator, but also for the spoiled food cost of replacement, labor and repair cost, and my lost work/wages due to having to take off work to deal with the overall malfunctioning of your Samsung RF267AEBP.By the way, my paperwork from Samsung that came with my refrigerator clearly states, Your Satisfaction is Samsungs # 1 Priority - Do not return to store. Well, Samsung, here is your opportunity to step up and simply do the right thing, especially since you are on record claiming that my satisfaction is Samsungs #1 priority.

We are on our second refrigerator in less than three years. The first unit had problems with the ice maker so we exchanged it in less than a month. Now we have problems with it icing up in the rear around some fan. Samsung said they would fix it and pay for the parts not labor. But now they refuse to pay for the parts. The executive division said the lower representative didnt have the authority to promise to pay for anything. Never buy Samsung products. Theyre junk and the management are liars!

I have had the worst experience with my FIRST and LAST Samsung purchase. My fridge like many others has the issue of the drain tube freezing causing water to drain into your vegetable drawers and under the drawers. It took me a few months to determine this was actually the fridge causing this and not my kids with water bottles. The first agent I spoke to said well why did you wait so long to call, it’s not like this started yesterday. After explaining that I initially thought my kids were placing open water bottles and they were spilling, I was told that I was not covered under warranty as my unit was made in 2014 even though I didnt purchase it till 2015. The agent asked me for proof of purchase and even after I explained it was purchased from a lease to own I was assured that if I had not had the unit for 2 years I would be covered. I sent in my proof of purchase then was told it was not valid and they needed my lease agreement. I again was assured that once that was sent in that Executive Relations has given the go ahead to cover this issue at no cost. I sent in the lease agreement as requested to then be told that I was OOO since the unit was manufactured in 2014 even after I was told they would cover it. I have spoken to several advisors and not one has been able to locate the previous notes on what has been told to me. This has now been an ongoing back and forth for the last 3 weeks. This is a well-known issue on this model and it’s beyond disappointing that a company like Samsung does not rectify the issue when a customer calls in concerning this WELL KNOWN ISSUE. After 3 weeks of back and forth calling I now have to wait another 24-48 hours for the service company to call me and then I still dont know if I will be covered for this issue. I will not ever purchase a Samsung product just in the fact that they are not willing to make things right with a first time customer with a known issue. Customer service goes a long long way and unfortunately Samsung has proven Im replaceable and dont need me as a customer.

Buyer beware!!! After owning this French door refrigerator for a little over a year, there started to be water buildup under pantry drawer. The water would then freeze and would prevent the drawer from opening. I began the weekly game of trying to thaw the ice in order to use the pantry drawer. The ice would come out in big sheets. Big enough that while pulling a chunk out of the fridge, a piece broke off and dented my appliance. And because there was nowhere for the water to go, it started seeping out onto my hardwood floors which caused them to hoover up. After about 3 months of this NONSENSE I had it serviced. The repairman had fixed NUMEROUS Samsung French door refrigerators with this same issue. SHAME ON YOU Samsung for allowing a fridge to be engineered this way... Thought you were smarter than that. Since that service call I have had to get my ice maker serviced 2 times, dishwasher serviced 2 times and washing machine 2 times. All Samsung appliances. Buyer beware!

In November of this year I bought a Samsung fridge side-by-side with the bottom drawer and noticed three months later that the fridge drawer was discolouring, you’re not the same colour of the stainless steel as the rest of the fridge. I called them to complain and get this fixed and they said this was a cosmetic issue and it’s not covered. All this is dealing with them is a way of them playing with words and not fulfilling their responsibilities with warranty, anything but helping a customer as what I got this is definitely not cosmetic, it is a manufactures defect but they don’t use those words. Buyer beware. I will never buy Samsung products again and neither will my family members.

I bought this piece of junk Oct. 2017 at Home Depot for over $1200.00 with the no customer service protection plan through Asurion. This was what we thought was a beautiful sleek side by side that would last at least 10 years. We arent rich people so this was our first side by side. The thing started making a terrible racket a few days ago and just gets worse. It apparently has a design flaw that causes ice to build up around the fan which leads to an expensive failure. After 2 days of around 12 calls to Asurion I have to wait 3 weeks for a repair. They initially set me up with a rude fly by night jerk, but hes not coming so I have to wait three weeks now for a different repair place. Nobody wants to work on Samsung appliances. You call someone in whos not factory authorized there goes the warranty. Since weve been put in this position, were forced to spend money we dont have on another refrigerator. Try finding a refrigerator during a Pandemic while riots are taking place. It seems impossible but we must have a refrigerator. The cheapest we can find is an apartment size for almost $400.00. We cant afford this & Im sure Asurion wont reimburse us for the money we have to spend for a back up fridge.

I just kept defrosting the refrigerator and trying different things. They finally sent a repairman that replaced the ice maker and a few months later I was back to defrosting the refrigerator again. Then in December of 2018 the fan behind the back panel in the refrigerator froze up and I had to replace that. Now I have to defrost my refrigerator every month or two to keep it working. We purchased our fridge Jan 2014 and at first happy with it. Year and a half later the noise started. I could see through the small holes on the inside back, it was frozen over. Ice was coming through the small holes. The noise was awful. Then it quit cooling and the top ice maker quit. Repairman said it had frozen up and the fan that blows the cold air out into the fridge had gone out. The ice maker had quit because it also was frozen over. He took the ice maker drawer out and it was a solid sheet of ice. He thawed it out and it began working again. Not sure for how long. He told me this was a bad problem and it wasnt worth replacing if it didnt start back working after being thawed. Fortunately it did begin making ice again. I guess in the future I will just thaw the ice maker out when it quits again. He ordered another fan, and as a note it was on back order and it took them from Oct to Jan for the part to come in. Now a month later the noise has started again. So I will be calling a repairman again. Not sure what he will say this time. I would not recommend anyone buying a Samsung refrigerator. My brother had bought this same fridge around the same time I did, and it has done the same thing with them. Terrible noise and replacing the fan. His ice maker has gone out 3 times and they have replaced it each time. Why would they continue making this piece of junk? I cant believe I paid 2000 for such this crap. Cost about $2800. Pros: great energy savings, LED light, very well lighted inside and good use of space. Cons: The drawers are not seamless so food, spilled juices, spilled sauces flows into the seams and will NEVER come clean. The glass shelves are not seamless and the same issue with cleaning is the result. The Ice maker worked great for the 1st year after which it continuously leaks water down the front of the door and makes a high pitch whining noise 24/7. Samsung will not warranty the ice maker. The French doors do not open all the way so it is a real struggle pulling out the drawers and shelves. Recommendation: NEVER purchase a Samsung fridge... EVER AGAIN.

We were warned by 2 people not to buy Samsung refrigerators because the ice makers were awful. We didnt listen because we needed a certain size and Samsung made them if you ordered it... Loved the refrigerator for the first few months. Then the ice maker started freezing up and we would have to use a hairdryer to defrost it. Then we noticed when you put ice in a cup it would drop water in it. So much you would have to dump it before putting anything in it. Within 2 years the ice maker was dripping water in one of the doors and would freeze in the bottom of the ice tray causing it to freeze up. We finally just pulled the tray out and turned the water off to it. Now we buy a bag of ice and keep it in the bottom freezer. Do not buy this refrigerator unless you want to deal with these kind of problems.

RFG237AARS purchases 2/2013. I have a Samsung Range and Dishwasher and havent had any issues with those appliances, but this refrigerator is definitely a lemon. There are quite a few Youtubers out there showing the icing problem. They are chiseling ice blocks off the fridge. The fridge starts making an annoying sound which happens to be the twin cooling fan system hitting the ice. Thats not right. Its disappointing that Samsung is not addressing the issue. I have been able to care for mine periodically and unthaw it from time to time, but its definitely a feature Samsung isnt being upfront about. I’m sure at some point the fan will break because of the issue. I can only imagine what expenses they would try to push onto the consumer(me), and given the age of the refrigerator it isnt worth a $500 repair bill. It doesnt sound like people are having much luck with repair(s) either. Some report multiple repairs yet they still have a dud afterwards.

We have had a Samsung refrigerator with French doors and all the bells and whistles for 4 years. During that time we have had 3 major issues, first with a lead into the bottom of the refrigerator and now the ice compartment freezes up and has to be unfrozen with a hair dryers, AND, worse, the fan motor freezes up and the refrigerator makes a horrible unbearably sound until I thaw out the ice in the back of the refrigerator again with a hair dryer. Only then does it decide whether or not the refrigerator part will keep cooling--usually it takes a few hours. We have had it with Samsung. Each time we called Samsung and it took a week for them even to call back, and then to tell us they didnt have a service person in our area. We are getting rid of this refrigerator. We had it for four years at our second home, so that we only used it 6 months each year. We did not get the extended warranty because we were warned by locals that we would have to wait weeks for service by Samsung even with a warranty. Looks like they were right. If you look online, youll see many consumers have had the same problems.

Called for service and the first person did not look at the issue; he just ordered the part and we had to pay before it was delivered to us. Second repair person was terrific. He fixed the problem and found the original issue which was a part the first guy never ordered. We thought we were all set for another five years. Samsung 5 burner gas stove cost approx. $700. Love the 5 burners on the stove. The middle burner is great for simmering or keeping something warm. With having 5th burner I can keep gravy warm while preparing the rest of the meal. Also good for boiling water for eggs. It pays to spend a little more on a good quality stove. You don't want to have to buy another one in two years.

Add me to the 2,180 list of dissatisfied customers who own a French door Samsung refrigerator with twin cooling. We have the same problem with ice building up in the refrigerator section causing water and ice to form under the crisper trays. The compressor was replaced after 1 year but the problem keeps occurring. I question the Executive team from Samsung how they could still be selling a product for the last 5 or more years that has the same issue. If you read through the reviews and see the years it has been the same problem. Their response was, We will send a technical out to fix it and you will pay the bill. The problem should be fixed and there should be a recall. Why would anyone invest more money in a piece of JUNK? Next step is a report to the Better Business and to make dealers aware that they are selling faulty products.

We bought our refrigerator (Samsung RS261M/XAA) from Pacific Sales In Ontario CA. Like many others here, we decided to pay a higher price in hopes of getting a better product. This product lasted about 13 months. The warranty is 12 months. The refrigerator starting making this loud horrible racket which turned out to be the infamous ice dam hitting the fan. We removed all the food and defrosted it. This quieted it down again. Three months later the noise is back and were spending another weekend fixing it. We cannot afford another fridge so were stuck with this cycle for now. Do not buy Samsung Products. They are defective and they do not stand by them when they break.

We bought Samsung fridge on 11 June 2016 (Model No. RT39K5538S9) from BAJAJ ELECTRONICS. Within a week started formation of ice inside the fridge. We kept quiet and it started leaking water in 1st month. We raised compliant (No. **). Customer care people instead of coming to site and rectifying they instructed to do switch off the fridge let the ice melts. We did and one week it is fine. Again started forming ice. Again we raised compliant (No. **). Service engineer came this time and said PCB and Sensor needs to be replaced. Why Samsung is selling damaged products to customers? Without a proper check they are supplying products to the showrooms which is causing problems to consumers. We bought that fridge with 44,000 and suffering a lot. Instead of replacing the product if it is having problem they are repairing the fridge as it is 5 or 10 year old fridge. Disgusting. We informed all our apartment, colleagues and friends, approx. 75 people, not to buy Samsung products and they will not buy for sure.

We purchased a Samsung convection oven range and matching refrigerator 13 months ago. Today as I was wiping down the stove I noticed a film/vinyl paint wiped right off around the handle. Obviously I was mortified as it sticks out like a sore thumb and our oven is just one year old!! I feel like we have been duped we thought we are purging black stainless steel products. This is not stainless steel. This is literally some kind of cheap vinyl painted over... Further, we don’t have children, and we did not use it all summer long... It is very gently used and well cared for! We paid a lot and this is beyond crazy that this is happening!!! We reached out to Samsung and they were absolutely worthless because we are past the one year warranty by one month. Further they can’t even help us in getting a replacement piece. And they were very rude! Since we we realize how terrible the products and service are with Samsung.. And because they did NOTHING to help us resolve this issue, we will NEVER buy Samsung products ever again!

From the day it was installed about a year ago, it leaks badly under the door during the first cycle. It never cleans the dishes well and always leaves funk all over for me to scrape off after. I might as well hand wash! Now the unit will not complete cycle. I have taken it apart a zillion times to clean and inspect. What a piece of **. Locally we have a tire store called Discount Tire. In their TV ad they show a little old lady throwing a tire through their front window and the ad says if youre not satisfied.... bring it back. I wonder what it would sound like when I throw this dishwasher through Lowes front window?

The freezer portion works fine but not the fridge area. I would caution Anyone even considering this fridge to run like the wind to another brand. We purchased a set of Samsung kitchen appliances. Unfortunately, we purchased these before we moved into our home and shortly after we began to use the appliances, the warranty on some of the appliances had expired. Fortunately, the microwave had a longer warranty and we were able to have that fixed without charge. The dishwasher on the other hand had been one issue after another. We have had to make 3 service calls at our expense and the problem is not yet fixed. We have already spent enough to have purchased another dishwasher - and all we have to show is a broken dishwasher that can not wash a load of dishes. Very disappointed with this dishwasher and after reading the reviews of water soaked floors, I am afraid to risk having it looked at for the 4th repair... Probably better off to just purchase a new dishwasher, but what a waste of money this has been.

7, yes, 7 Samsung fridges since May 2011 and not one has lasted. Tried side by sides and moved all the way up to 4 high-end French door models on sale for half price due to holidays. I can see why they can sell these lemons for so cheap, because they are junk. Nothing but major issue after major issue. Samsung could care less. My retailer was good, but even they kept saying “no way you could get so many defective fridges.” Oh, yes, I can and did. I have the service records to prove it; not that that means much considering every technician was clueless with no idea how to fix it. So they just try one or two things and when it doesn’t fix anything, they just say: “Defective, can’t be fixed.” And of course that’s only if they actually show up for the scheduled service call. Personally, I think Samsung should pull every model fridge they sell off of store shelves and should not be allowed to sell these obvious lemons to the public unless they learn how to make a fridge that works and one that can be fixed if something goes wrong. Why won’t the govt step in and stop Samsung immediately? Makes no sense that our governing bodies will not or have not yet, stepped in to the picture and make Samsung recall all fridges until they prove they can make a reliable fridge. Samsung’s are lemons, plain and simple, and should not be allowed to be sold to consumers in the U.S. If other countries want Samsung lemons, then that is their choice; but here in the USA, no way should they be allowed to sell these inferior lemons! Never will I ever go near any Samsung product ever again. Was actually looking at a new Samsung HD TV, but no way will I support Samsung or give them another penny of my money ever!

Ok, this is a very honest review of an expensive Samsung Refrigerator, the purpose of this review is to ensure that people do not face the same harassment and cheat at the hands of Samsung and fault prodicts that we did. If you dont want to read the review, just know that never buy Samsung Refrigerators which are high end Models as they dont have the support team or the resources to sort out any problem, remember its more a warning to the discerning buyers rather than a review. So to cut the story short, we bought a Samsung french door refrigerator with Ice Maker in September 2017. Towards the end of 2018 the Ice maker stopped working and sadly after 7 complaints and paying almost close to INR 12000.00, we are still sitting with the same problem and no one now responds as they dont know what is the problem. We have knocked on all doors but to no avail and still no one bothers to understand the problem. Sir, we have escalated the problem to the highest level, is the standard response is basically inaction post that.Guys, the quality for a high end refrigerator is really bad, there are a number of recurring problems which are magnified by the fact Samsung has no support or product training for its field service personnel for high end models so please refrain. Hope this saves people from the agony we are facing after spending a fortune on a refrigerator!

Have had a problem with water puddling on the floor for some time now. Our Samsung french door w/ bottom freezer, water/ice in the door is a model #RF26VABPN. It is a 26 cu ft unit. At first it was a pretty nice unit. We started to notice small puddles of water every now and then on the floor. This we thought was just a maverick ice cube had escaped and slid under the fridge. It turns out that ice is building up inside the bottom plastic wall cover, thawing and make a small pond under the two bottom drawers. We contacted Samsung customer service but since it was out of warranty...no help. We are now going to relegate this fridge to the garage and buy a new unit and it will NOT BE A SAMSUNG! It is our opinion that their products are very low quality, poor/non-existent customer service, and just plain junk! Our advice to you is dont be mesmerized by the cool lighting, silver-tongued salesman, or the gadgets. These things are expensive so shop wisely.

My less than 5 year old Samsung range, model# NX58H5650WS caught on fire when I used the self clean feature for the first time. Within 15 minutes the oven started emitting white smoke. Then flames appeared. Had to call the fire department to come and pry the door open to put out the fire, since the door locks automatically when the self clean feature is turned on. They claim this is a safety feature. Not so sure. I couldnt put out the fire myself. This was a gas range and was afraid of an explosion. I will never ever buy another Samsung product. My Samsung refrigerator, dishwasher and now the range are all lemons. I bought the service contract for 5 years and the servicemen have been out to fix the refrigerator and dishwasher at least 10 times. But the range took the cake. I almost burned down my house. Very upset as to how these appliances can be sold. Had to put a $10,000 claim into my insurance company so that ServPro could come out and get the smoke damage and smell out of my house. Beware of these cheap Samsung appliances. If I could give these products a zero star rating I would.

Bought this fridge brand new 13 months ago from Lowes. We are not very happy with this design as the french doors close somewhat difficult and often get stuck. That is minor compared to parts breaking so quickly. One of the shelves in the door (door bin) fell out of the fridge last week and the contents shattered on our kitchen floor. Minor damage to our floor also occurred. When I called Samsung, they stated the fridge was long out of warranty. I checked the tags and sure enough the fridge was 3 years old. Bottom line is, Samsung honors purchase date for warranty but Im over by 3 weeks. So sorry they said and offered Samsung parts number. This is an utter joke all around!

From my complaint sent to Samsung: I bought this Samsung side-by-side RS2545SH/XAA refrigerator for my office in 2008. Within the first year, I had to have the service techs in to repair and replace the board because it was causing the fridge to over-cool, either freeze the refrigerator section or leave it uncooled. That was repaired under warranty. In the past year, I have encountered the same issue. Now the board is causing the cold water reservoir to freeze. I have had both our local repairman and yours out to attempt repair. The local reported that it is a common problem with refrigerators and recommended higher temp settings to keep the problem at bay, but wouldnt recommend refrigerators with chips for our next purchase.Your repairman, while polite, wasnt prepared with the parts in the truck for the probable repair. It took him 3 hours to diagnose and defrost the water reservoir. It would have likely been cheaper for him to just replace the plastic unit. He identified that the problem is likely the board or the heater, but could be the wire that connects the two that is not repairable. It would be an additional $350.00 for the repair and another visit on top of the $302.10 already paid to your tech and $110.00 for our local repair tech. The tech warned that with the replacement parts (which he didnt have with him), he couldnt guarantee that it would be fixed because of a wire built into the fridge could be the culprit and isnt repairable. I would be stuck with the costs and a broken fridge.I and my assistant Paul ** (ticket **) have made numerous calls to your call center for updates and requests to review this issue and have been met with what I would call polite stonewalling. I feel that purchasing a premium product should come with support. I also expect a refrigerator to last at least 20 years before needing service. I have not experienced either with this purchase and could not recommend your product to others. I will be exploring additional avenues to file complaints against your company including the store where we bought it and our state attorney general. It would appear, in hindsight, that I would have been better off purchasing a basic model that would have cost me considerably less and would have been repairable.

Approximately 14 months after purchasing a Samsung french door refrigerator (Model #RF28HMEDBSR) the ice maker froze up and stopped working. It had to be manually defrosted (frost and ice removed). This issue occurred every 2 to 3 weeks. We trusted Samsung and did not purchase an extended warranty. Dishwasher worked great for 6 months or so. Much quieter than previous dishwasher. Loved the extra space on the top rack. Samsung Dishwasher DW80F800UWS. Started intermittently displaying OE error code. We would try again, shake things, etc. Eventually it would run. Now, it consistently fails, having tried 10+ times in a row. I opened things up and clean parts and reassembled it. I tried what I thought was the most vigorous setting... pots and pans with storm wash. Failed within a minute. I took out all the dishes and racks. Now... it works. Bottom rack. Works fine. Top rack... fails.Experimenting a bit, it fails when the water first attempts to spray out the top rack. That nozzle at the back of the dishwasher hooks into the spinning bit on the bottom of the top rack. I cleaned and rinsed it with vinegar to remove any build up. Still fails. Of course I let it all dry and tried again. Now it fails and the top part is still dry. I smack the side of it a few times and now its sort of working again. No telling how long until it fails again. It is so aggravating.

I told them Ive learned in the past that if you buy a good product, you dont need to waste money on extended warranty. I was given the name of a repair service company that can repair Samsung. He came out and said it had to be one of two parts. He ordered both parts, came back in 10 days to replace one or the other and we told him go ahead and replace both so we dont have to play a guessing game which one it was. Well, a week later, it started back up again. This time, louder and harder. I just called the repair company and left a message for them on their recorder with the fridge making the noise for them to hear. I took out the water filter so we can get some sleep. I told him I purchased this RANGE in August 2014 but did not take delivery until Nov. He said it is no longer in warranty. I explained the problem of streaks in between the glass on the door first he told me that is normal... I disagreed then he told me to put water in the door. THIS AGENT OBVIOUSLY DID NOT HAVE A COMMAND ON THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE!! Lousy customer support... awful warranty (I would think it would be a year from the time I took delivery).

My Samsung dishwasher worked perfectly until one day it simply stopped working -- no lights, nothing. I called Samsung and was told if it was the control board it would be a warranty repair, but if it was the front panel it would not be. The authorized service repair company came and --without running any diagnostics -- replaced the front panel, and charged me about $300. The unit worked for a week, and then the same problem reappeared. They came back to do the work. Samsung said would be a warranty repair -- replace the control board -- but then after the work was completed, charged me $140 for the board anyway! After many contacts with Samsung, which agreed repeatedly that the control board was a warranty repair, I was never able to get the money refunded and Samsung failed to follow through with numerous promised phone calls. I would never buy another Samsung product after this experience (which is particularly a shame since Ive been a loyal Samsung customer for years -- phones, TVs, memory cards, etc.).

We purchased our Samsung RS261MDRS/XAA a Little less than 5 years ago. It has been a nightmare. The first week, we had to call the company because the refrigerator was not cooling properly. We had a technician come by to fix it. Perhaps it was a computer problem. The refrigerator would not cool properly, and the freezer would frost up. The very first years we had several people try to fix the freezing of the back panel problem. We have nursed it along, but less than 5 years of ownership, for the second or third time, we have had to move all of our food elsewhere to keep from losing it. The fan made a loud clatter, then nothing. Food kept getting warmer - who knows whats safe, so we had to throw it all away again! Samsung is over their head with refrigerators- cell phones, not so much. Buy at your own risk.

Simply DO NOT BUY IT! The SAMSUNG dishwasher DW80F600UTB is by far the worst purchase that everyone shall avoid. Acquired one unit in Aug 31, 2013 at Future Shop Calgary, Canada. The machine was delivered on Sept 6, 2013. It worked marginally well up to Nov 3, 2013 (not even 2 months of use). On this fatidic day, the machine started leaving food residue and unfinished, not washed glasses, and from this point and on, my WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER! In a nutshell, I spent hours and hours on the phone with SAMSUNG (UN)SUPPORT Services(?). They sent me one local (not SAMSUNG) technician that pinpointed several problems (from the Pump up to Water Pressure). After 7 (SEVEN) visits and lots of parts replacement, the technician finally agreed that the machine was NO GOOD! Note: SAMSUNG will only replace your dishwater if their technician agrees that the machine is NO GOOD. In July 2014, I received the NEW UNIT from SAMSUNG but need to pay freight and installation again. The new unit worked marginally well up to February 2015.At this point I decided to wash the same batch of dishes at least 3 and 4 times, and tomorrow (Dec 28, 2015) I will buy a REAL DISHWASHER! This DW80F600UTB has serious design issues not recognized by SAMSUNG. On this regard, I would like to join BORIS of Calgary to enter in a fully documented and water-tight lawsuit against SAMSUNG. SAMSUNG must understand that we, customers, are not idiots nor money grow on trees to be spent in such a JUNK equipment.

In 2013 we purchased a Samsung Refrigerator French door up and down. We paid 2,999.00. First we had the ice bucket replaced twice. This took several months each time to get a service order number. The problem existed. Finally the third repairman told us there was a Freon leak which couldnt be fixed. In March 2015, Samsung finally agreed it was a manufacturing problem and we would be refunded the full amount of our purchase price. I have made well over 50 documented calls to find out when we would receive our check. We have been without a refrigerator for over three months. Each time I call, I speak to a different person. I have been told I would receive a satisfaction survey many times which I have never received. We are still waiting for our check which was apparently mailed over a month ago. This whole experience has convinced me Samsung does not care one bit about their Customer Service. We have many Samsung products. I now pray nothing happens to any other Samsung product. Im not sure I could go through this awful nightmare again.

Samsung microwave SMH9187 - As others describe, the microwave started to beep and the -SE- error code appears. This signifies a display panel issue. Some have had success disconnecting power source for ~15 seconds. Others had success by simultaneously holding the stop/clear and enter/start buttons for 20 seconds. Someone else recommended disconnecting the display panel. This is easy. It is easy to remove the plugs and on my model, only the two white and blue plugs at the bottom could be incorrectly swapped but the blue plug connection has the word blue clearly shown. I had disassembled and am trying to use fans to remove moisture. This malfunction occurred after a nearly two inch rainstorm, so there might be some moisture causing the failure. Samsung said they would extend the parts warranty even though I am outside the 1 year warranty, so I would need to pay for a serviceman. If it is just the display panel and if I can get the part for no cost, this is an easy install.

We purchased the Samsung 24 Stormwash dishwasher in August 2020. After the first time I ran a full cycle, I got an error code OC. I looked it up and the manual said to contact the manufacturer. I tried using another cycle to see if that would work, it didnt. So I tried several other cycles and it finally completed a cycle. But I immediately noticed it didnt wash the dishes at all. Dishes that didnt even have grease on them before, were greasy with debris on it. Mind you, I rinse the majority of the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. So I called Home Depot to tell them it wasnt working and they informed me at that moment that it was purchased from the manufacturer so I would have to contact them. Soooo, I called them and I have had the run around from the very beginning. They arranged with a local company to send a tech out to look at it. That is whole story in itself (and not a good one). He FINALLY came out, said it needed a part, ordered it and came back to install it a week later. After he left, I tried a cycle and it worked. And then I ran another cycle and it barely got about 2 to 5 minutes into the cycle and it stopped. I called Samsung again, and after speaking to the lady (a rather rude lady at that), she finally escalated it for me to get a refund or replacement because they couldnt get in contact with the company that supposedly fixed my unit. They were supposed to call me back within 24 to 48 hours. A WEEK later, I called them because I never got a phone call back and they had the nerve to tell me I didnt qualify for a replacement or refund. They sent a defective unit that cost $1052.85 and now I have to jump through hoops just to get the unit fixed. The rep has been rude and dismissive. The unit is horrible! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. We have everything else Samsung, but we will NEVER buy from them again!

We bought this refrigerator new on 07/24/2011, and on 03/27/2012 while we were at home we heard water running all of a sudden. We went into the kitchen and water was flowing out of the ice maker. We quickly shut off the water to the house and then moved the unit out and turned off the water at the wall. Because we were there and heard this, we prevented $60k to $70k in water damages. Most of our downstairs flooring is wood. The refrigerator was fixed under warranty by a Samsung contracted service organization. Then again on 08/30/2013, the unit failed again. This time I woke up at 5am and heard the faint noise of water running. I immediately went down stairs and stepped into a LAKE. The entire downstairs of our home was flooded and all the flooring, walls up to 16 and cabinets that were built in were ruined. The bill for all this will definitely be well over $50k. NO one should ever buy a Samsung refrigerator with an ice maker. The new unit failed in 8 months and the Samsung repair only lasted 17 months. This is most definitely a product liability case.

The dishwasher is fairly quiet. It has several wash options as well as a separate dry option. The racks fold down so you can put large or unusual shaped items in it. I purchased a Samsung stove from Lowes and also purchase the extended warranty. One day the stove top glass made a pop sound and cracked open. I called the company for repair and they sent a technician over. The technician called the repair company and they decided, dont know based on what, that it is a functional and physical problem and therefore they would not repair it. I have had this stove for 4 years and have been using it according to guidelines. As I explained to the service company personnel Abigael as well as Lowes repair person Keaton, no physical damage was done to the stove glass top; however they still refused to do the repair. I have had GE glass stove top and I have family members and friends that have either Electrolux or kenmore and that does not just happened. This glass top obviously is defective and the company does not want to own up to it.

The knobs on the slide in electric range with the knobs on the front turn t
The knobs on the slide in electric range with the knobs on the front turn too easily. At least twice we have had dishes explode due to the knobs turning from just leaning against them. My 2 year old can easily turn the knobs on and off. Numerous times I have come into the kitchen to see one of the burners red from accidentally being turned on. The most recent dish explosion was today. I had set a bowl of squash on top of the over and about 10 minutes later I could smell something burning, I came out and the cooktop was set too high (I must have leaned up against it at some point), I immediately shut it off and the dish exploded, there was glass all over me, the counter, floor, I stepped on a piece that was in back of me and cut my foot. I was also holding my toddler at the time and I’m thankful none of the glass got in her eyes. There were shards of glass all over the place, we have a dog and two small children. This is very unsafe and Samsung really needs to address the unsafe design of these knobs. You barely have to push on them to turn them, this is a huge safety concern, especially as a fire hazard.

I bought all Samsung appl. when we built but Im having second thoughts... the refrigerator (side by side with water ice on outside) is not all worth the $$. The size gets cramped inside without a lot of shelving room and the outside ice dispenser always clogs and you stand there for minutes until the big globs of crushed ice falls out because if you dont get it out when you open the fridge door it all falls on the floor. We use the full cube but when clogged it crushes inside. The lower freezer is great... very roomy and stores more than avg. I would explore other brands.

Refrigerator temp is not keeping things cold enough - We purchased a refrigerator (rsg257aars) in Dec 2011. From the beginning, I noticed food smells when I opened the refrigerator door. I adjusted the temp all the way to 34 degrees to see if that would help. Finally, I put a digital thermometer in the fridge to see what temp it registered and it was between 42 and 43 . We put two more thermometers to double check and they also read 43. We called for repair and he told me I cant use analog thermometers to check. I asked him to check himself and he only had a laser one and he warned me that it would register 15 or 20 degrees higher. However, he assured me that my refrigerator was working fine.I called Samsung and told them, I need another repairman; do not send me the same person. On 2/28/12, I was speaking with Steve, who told me he was my personal service advocate and he would make sure he sent someone else and he said it was going to work. So while we were having dinner, the repairman rang the bell and lo and behold, it was the exact same person. This time, my husband spoke to him and tried to explain the problem. The repairman could not figure out the problem. Of course I called for a third time and that repairman called Samsung and between the two of them on the speaker phone, they decided it was the sensor. We had to wait a week for the sensor to be delivered and after the sensor was installed, I asked if he had to check if it worked and he said no, it is working and he left. About a half hour later, when I checked the temp, it hadnt improved. I called Steve and left a message and he never called me. Then a woman left her number to verify if the repair work was done and I called her and there hasnt been a callback.Bottom line is, my refrigerator is not working and my next step is to blog or do a YouTube on how poor the service of Samsung is. I called to speak to a supervisor today and they said there wasnt a supervisor available, so they will request a callback. Something has to be done!

Tech comes out and tells us this is a known problem and Samsung is replacing the units for some due to the issue. I called and of course ours was too old. I purchased the stainless steel, refrigerator with french doors, bottom freezer, and ice maker. What a $1300.00 mistake!!! The ice maker has no regulator; so, it only stops making ice cubes when the container is so full that the cubes are spilling behind the freezer. Every time we open the freezer ice cubes slide out from under the door and spill all over kitchen floor. We are constantly wiping up melting cubes and there are always wet areas on the floor. I called Customer Service; I was told it was a design flaw and they are aware of it. Unfortunately, there is nothing they can do about it. Seems like an unacceptable answer doesnt it! I certainly wish I had known about this design flaw before making this purchase. Now I am stuck wiping ice cubes and water up every time I open my freezer. Our brand new refrigerator broke so we called, it took them a week to come, another week to get the part, another 2 weeks to get another part. Its now been 4 1/2 weeks. I said after the first 2 1/2 weeks they should replace the fridge. Samsung... said no. I am disabled and I dont drive. My husband travels and we live in the country so we buy a lot of food and then he flies out. We had just stocked the fridge. I lost over 1000K in food the first time. I called and spoke with a guy about getting reimbursed on the food loss and he said List everything and they would jump on it. A rude lady called me back after the fridge was fixed and said Samsung only gives out 200$ as a courtesy. Why did I go through all the hassle of listing everything if they only give 200$. I forgot to mention that my medicine has to be refrigerated so we had to go get ice every day and again I dont drive. It was horrible. My poor son had to go get us food every day and that was a terrible expense because eating out is so expensive. So now for the worst part. Three weeks later the refrigerator broke again. I called this time and said I just want the money to replace. Please hurry because we cant go buy a new one until we get the money from the old one. That was 6-21-17... Its now 7- 12-15. I was told it should only take 2-3. Its been three weeks and when you load my ticket number in the website it does not give any information. When the refrigerator broke the second time... (YES IT BROKE AGAIN). I even told the ride lady that it was not running well when she called about the first 200$. She said she would have someone call me to set up repairs etc. I never got that phone call. I lost another fridge full of food. So I get one more 200$. Thats all! I just now got an update on the first 200$.That took 2 months. If it takes that long to get the money for the refrigerator it will be terrible for my family. Im not sure what to do? Every time I call everyone says that they will try and get whomever to speed up the process but so far it has been a nightmare. It has caused so much more than just a loss from a fridge. Its been a terrible domino effect. But so far I have lived with no refrigerator for 2 1/2 months... Could you do that? I have had company during this time twice. My son graduated high school and the whole family came. Something should be done and Samsung owes me something more than just replacement cost of my refrigerator. Im very upset. If you can help me please let me know.
