Product Reviews:

I remodeled my kitchen 4 years ago and purchased all new Samsung appliances
I remodeled my kitchen 4 years ago and purchased all new Samsung appliances. They were magnificent looking! However, the microwave touch panel malfunctioned after just a few months and went completely black... no lights. Samsung repaired it due to a recall on the panel. Now four years later it is out again! I had to purchase a new microwave today... NOT SAMSUNG. The range already has one malfunctioning burner so now Im down to 3 burners. The refrigerators ice maker stopped working after 7 months.... cost $450 to replace. Samsung only guarantees the ice maker for 5-6 months. Only Samsung repair people can fix your appliances because no one else can get the necessary parts, so the repair charge is double that of other appliance repair businesses. The dishwasher cleans horribly and leaves grit in EVERY glass/cup. The welded stainless steel walls of the dishwasher came apart and my husband had to repair them with rivets. I refuse to spend another dime repairing Samsung products. I will gradually replace them when they break completely. STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG!!!

A small plastic bracket that supports the upper ice maker in my french door
A small plastic bracket that supports the upper ice maker in my french door refrigerator (RF 323TEDBSR) broke. I have spent more than two months with Samsungs official parts department, J & J International, Inc. trying to obtain the part. Initially they told me that the part I needed was the assembly case and auger motor. I couldnt believe it but they swore it was an integrated part. I ordered it to the tune of $175. When it arrived I took it out and it was immediately clear that it was the wrong part. So I called and received a Return Authorization number. I was told that I would receive a shipping label by email. After a week, I called again and was told that it hadnt come to me because they only make these labels up on Wednesdays! I was instructed to wait a few more days. I did, no label. I called again and was told that they had misspelled my email address and would send it again within the hour. I waited two days and contacted on-line customer service. They also told me that my email was misspelled (what, again?) that they had spelled office with two Is instead of two fs. Customer service told me that they had alerted the proper person to the problem. When I asked for that persons information, I was told that it doesnt speak to the public. Nice!Oh, the reason they authorized the return is that the bracket, which is held in place by three small screws is a non-serviceable part because it was installed before the case was foamed in for insulation. They might as well have told me that there was no such part in my refrigerator. They think that they can give you an stupid excuse. Actually, it is a piece of plastic, the size of my hand, that weighs about two ounces. Worth two dollars at most but Id gladly pay $20 because, without it, I have no upper ice maker. I have been in touch with Samsungs Executive Offices to no avail. A company that doesnt support its own products should be forced out of business. I bought this refrigerator from Lowes. I think they should consider the effect on their customers by continuing to advertise and sell this garbage. No more for me.

The ice maker is a standard size and tends to produce ice adequately. HOWEVER, BE WARNED that Samsung ice makers are very poor quality. They tend to dispense crushed ice even when you dont want it. They definitely dispense broken bits of cubes constantly. I have contacted Samsung about this issue and their attitude is well, thats just the way it is, too bad. Its a shame that a $3,000 refrigerator comes with such an inferior ice maker and even a bigger shame that Samsung thinks its okay to sell you a fridge that spits ice in your floor every time you use it. Their customer service department said that if they send a technician out to look at it they will bill me because they dont consider this a defect. Huh?? Be informed before you buy a Samsung product.

I purchased a Samsung dishwasher at Lowes and had it less than 24 hours when it started flashing Heavy. When I called the company, they said that it meant that it was improperly installed & I had to have a tech come look at it. I called Lowes & they said that if it already was giving me trouble, not to bother with a tech and to return it. The Samsung tech wouldnt give me any information as to whether it was electrical, plumbing or whatever. After reading on the internet I realized it was the product, not the install. It is a piece of junk that is an electrical malfunction nightmare!

Buyer beware!!! After owning this French door refrigerator for a little over a year, there started to be water buildup under pantry drawer. The water would then freeze and would prevent the drawer from opening. I began the weekly game of trying to thaw the ice in order to use the pantry drawer. The ice would come out in big sheets. Big enough that while pulling a chunk out of the fridge, a piece broke off and dented my appliance. And because there was nowhere for the water to go, it started seeping out onto my hardwood floors which caused them to hoover up. After about 3 months of this NONSENSE I had it serviced. The repairman had fixed NUMEROUS Samsung French door refrigerators with this same issue. SHAME ON YOU Samsung for allowing a fridge to be engineered this way... Thought you were smarter than that. Since that service call I have had to get my ice maker serviced 2 times, dishwasher serviced 2 times and washing machine 2 times. All Samsung appliances. Buyer beware!

I had an repairman come out and he advise that this Samsung brand always have problems with the cooling unit. It had froze up. He took the panel down and defrosted it. Now 2 months later I am back at the same issue. Now its a bad odor and hot. The freezer is all good. This is crazy. After reading all these complaints I know now that I am going to have to replace my unit. I should stuck to my Whirlpool brand which last me for over 15 years and I only got rid of it to upgrade to this or shall I say downgrade. Samsung rs263tdb.

I bought a full appliance set from electronic express here in Nashville. I bought refrigerator, range, dishwasher and over the range microwave. I spent about $5,0000.00. The microwave right after working one year it just quit working. I called Samsung they sent a tech and he fixed it. After 3 months the dishwasher never clean right. We started cleaning the dishes before we put them in the dishwasher, but finally it quit working - even the dishwasher detergent was left on the dish. I called Samsung and they said it is over a year and warranty expired. So I am out of luck. So I am planning to buy Whirlpool dishwasher since that was the old one I had which worked for over 9 years without a problem. I replaced it because my wife want a stainless steel set of appliance. I am disappointed at Samsung - such a big company makes a good cell phone and tablet like Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note, make a bad dishwasher. Why do not let them stay away from this business and let Whirlpool do the appliance. I will never buy Samsung appliance at all...

Whatever you do DO NOT buy a Samsung refrigerator. Mine is 4 years old. There is a design flaw in the ice maker. The ice maker has been making ice that is wet and the unit freezes up. Samsung told me to defrost the ice maker with a hairdryer. Did that. 3 weeks later same thing. This has been going on for 5 months. Samsung will not do anything to repair it. Our first Samsung was bought November 2009. It lasted one day before the temperature was 65 degree in refrigerator. Since Lowes had hauled our old refrigerator off this created a problem. They found another to replace it until our new one could arrive. When the new one arrived it had a heavy dent in the door. Lowes brought two more and they were both dented. We decided to keep the first replacement, but now the fast freeze keeps engaging and the alarm continuously beeps. The closest repair shop that you authorize is in Rolla Mo 35 miles away. I have had a lot of people tell me STAY AWAY from this service co. They never show up when they are supposed to and then charge ridiculous prices. This has been a nightmare from day one. After Lowes bringing 4 refrigerators, and only the first replacement being the one that worked or wasnt dented it would be nice if Lowes/Samsung would replace this piece of trash. Also we have a repair service T&C appliance service here in Steelville Mo. Why cant they be one of your authorized repairmen? ** from T&C has looked on internet trying to find a resolution to our problem. He has contacted Samsung but since hes not an authorized repairman your company will not work with him. I would like to continue business with Samsung, but I need more help from your end.

This refrigerator is one of the best we have ever had. Being a Navy family, we are always on the move, resulting in new appliances every few years. We found early on that selling our used appliances before a move, was more cost effective than risking damage to them. Samsung refrigerators are priced well, energy efficient, as well as nice to look at. I love the french doors and freezer on the bottom. The middle drawer is the favorite feature in this house. Putting the most used items in the drawer, saves opening the doors to the top storage area so many times each day. The crisper drawer lives up to its name, keeping lettuce fresh and crispy as long as 10 days.

The outside of the fridge however started to rust within the first year and neither place would help out with it so my stainless steel looks crappy! The microwave broke. I just bought a new one instead of messing with Samsung because they are a joke. Now the dishwasher isnt working and when you call you talk to idiots that run through all these questions just to tell you it is not under warranty - yeah I knew that, then that they cant help you. I wish I could give less than one star because thats how disgusted I am with my French door Samsung refrigerator. I purchased it about four years ago. After two years I finally figured out that it was icing up in the back and fortunately it was still under a warranty I had purchased with Lowes but it took close to a month to get all the parts etc. Also lost lots of food. Now again 2 years later the same thing. I called Samsung and became even more irate with the callous we dont give a crap attitude. This refrigerator needs to be recalled and Samsung sued because a company with morals would at least attempt to make a better product after so many of the same problems for so many years. This was to hopefully be my last refrigerator and now I cant even afford to fix the stupid thing. You can add me to the class action lawsuit as well and Samsung needs to recall and take responsibility for wasting our money. I also have a child and infant in the house - Im fearful that someone will end up with food poisoning. This is a huge safety issue Samsung!!!Updated on 07/03/2015: I finally threw most of my food away and pulled the plug on the fridge. It took three days but it finally defrosted. I then plugged it back in and for the time being it is cold and working fine. I suspect that I will end up doing this several times this year but as stupid as it sounds Im bound and determined to get a little more use out of it. So if anyone is in the same situation you might try to unplug, defrost it manually and plug it back in. Hope this can help somebody.

I replaced 15-year old Sears Kenmore appliances with what I believed to be top of the line Samsung appliances. Boy, did I learn a lesson. Problem number 1: the oven dead shorted a heating element. We had a service man out for the repair. He didn’t have the parts. Evidently, Samsung replacement parts are not well stocked or easy to get. We made our own repairs. Problem number 2: the refrigerator ($2700 French door, freezer below) started leaking water under the deli tray and freezing. This appliance has a service plan and the service tech was contacted. It took two weeks to get the part, which was shipped in to our house from California. He made the repairs. The problem was solved for a while.Six months later there is water in the same location. Problem number 3: microwave door handle broke off at the mount. Cheap plastic connection between metal and plastic. Then the key pad started dead shorting and shutting down the breaker. The problem only occurs when you set time and run machine. It doesn’t occur when the preset buttons are utilized. Samsung appliances all less than 2 years old all have problems. The replacement parts are scarce to find except online. All the service techs I spoke with spoke very poorly about Samsung appliances in general. I am completely done with Samsung forever. I just had to replace our 15-year old Kenmore dishwasher. I didn’t even consider Samsung even though it would match our other appliances. I am only going to buy American made appliances in the future. They may not be as high tech or fancy looking, but they work and last and you can get replacement parts. 3 Samsung appliances, 3 bad experiences, 3 strikes--you’re out.

We remodeled our kitchen in 2011, bought all new appliances, all Samsung, stove, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher, on 12/18/2010. There are only the two of us, however I only use it when we have a full load. We rinse our dishes, therefore no smells and I keep it clean. However, it started not finishing the complete normal cycle giving me a s3 code. I had my repairman to look at it ($75). He also had a discussion with online help. We ordered the part ($50). He installed it ($100), still got the same thing and my repairman was told this may not fix it. Then we would have to order a pump, not knowing how much a pump is and $225.00 later and being told this could happen in another 2-4 years. We have bought a new dishwasher, and sure isnt a SAMSUNG. I do expect my appliances to last longer than 4 years.

Refrigerator is three year old and cost about $2000. Last week the evaporator fan (inside of the refrigerator) started getting noisy. After looking online and discovering that this is a common issue I contacted the support people at Samsung. I received a canned response that said it could be caused by lots of things. They recommended that I unplug the refrigerator for 24 hours to let the evaporator thaw and for the ice to melt. If it happens again Im supposed to call for a repair appointment. We had to move all of our contents out of the refrigerator to let the evaporator thaw before we could get the cover off to clean out the drain. Not sure which model I have as the user manual is for all three, but after reading the reviews I guess it doesnt matter much. We bought the dishwasher, along with a suite of Samsung appliances, refrigerator (one service call that took over a month and three visits to fix), microwave, stove and the wall of water dishwasher slightly more than a year ago. Well I know why they call it a wall of water, as that is what you will find on your floor! Weve had two service calls at a cost of $160 on the dishwasher and now, based on the horrendous number of reviews and stories have decided that putting more money in it is foolish. The Samsung dishwasher is the most expensive dishwasher weve ever owned and proves that old saying you get what you pay for is dead wrong.

I bought a Samsung french door refrigerator two months ago on 5-22-2015. I noticed yesterday that the SAMSUNG letters on the front of the refrigerator were beginning to peel off. I emailed a complaint and got a call from customer service today. They claim this is physical damage and not covered by the warranty. I explained to the representative that I have been using a 3M stainless steel appliance cleaner with a microfiber cloth and there had not been any abuse to cause this to happen. She transferred me to a more senior representative who made the same claim. This is ridiculous!!! This is side by side refrigerator and it has water dispenser. The water is constantly dripping from the water dispenser. Also it has a very slow flow. It also has ice maker, however, whenever you try to get ice, it just spills all over the place because the opening is too wide. Very poor design and quality. Samsung tried to sell extended warranty. I told them when this refrigerator dies I am towing it to landfill and I will never ever buy anything Samsung. This is an extremely low quality refrigerator that was selling for $1800. I also have Samsung microwave. Do I need to tell you that the microwave door broke in less than two years? In approx May 2015 we purchased the Samsung RFF18HFENBSR French door refrig/bottom freezer from Home Depot. Our renovations got delayed so we did not start using it until August. I gave it one star because it looks and fits great but the following year (after the warranty was over) multiple things started happening. First no ice, then water in right crisper and water under both crispers freezing up. I went online and this has been a problem with Samsung refrigerators, many models, for years. I didnt call them because after researching they were not even returning calls to those that had warranties. All I can say to those shopping, absolutely do not purchase their refrigerators. This is a continuing problem. I have to call a repair guy but more annoying is it may possibly be a simple fix. There is a problem with the heating coil not keeping the water from freezing in a little hole. So their fix was a metal piece that doesnt quite reach the hole too short so it wasnt a fix after all. So water freezes in the hole, then no ice, water in right crisper and water under both crispers that freezes. It also creates frost in the freezer and food in the refrigerator freezing. But now I have to pay god knows how much money for a repair guy, empty everything out of my refrigerator again. Some repair guys are also saying you have to replace the thermostat piping or something like that. Dont buy this. I never do this but I have a refrigerator in my garage that is 12 years old and has never had a problem and Samsung although they were aware from previous models continued to just make it with the same problem knowing it still didnt fix it.

Our user manual was not up to date and did not show where the “reset” button was located. We called Samsung to complain, were told it was beyond the warranty. The bottom line: We have no ice available in our Samsung french door refrigerator. The ice maker is overly complex, and not user friendly. There are too many ways for this unit to fail. We purchased Samsung appliances at HHGregg in Dec 2013 and installed them in Jan 2014. The stove was delivered damaged and had to be reordered. It came a little while later and I installed it. They all worked good until about 2 weeks ago and the oven quit working. My wife called Samsung only to be told the warranty had expired Nov 2013, and the stove was not registered to our phone number or address. That was not possible because we received it in Jan 2014. She took our information and a person from Samsung called back in a few days and said they were going to replace the stove. They just needed a copy of the receipt. The person would not give a full name or phone number. Just the first name. My wife emailed the receipt and we waited for 5-6 days and no one contacted us. My wife called Samsung again and this time she was talking to a woman who was very rude and said they did not get a receipt. She asked to send the info again to a different place and she waited on the line and said she got it and a repair man would be out Friday. When asked about replacing the range, she said something like why should we. When asked for a written copy of what our warranty is and when it is good to, she refused and refused to give an address to write a letter to, and refused to let my wife talk to a manager. We dont trust them now and think it could be possible we didnt get a new stove. What can we do to make this right?

In late 2012, I upgraded my white GE kitchen appliances with stainless steel appliances. So I purchased a Samsung stainless steel gas stove and microwave and a Whirlpool fridge from Lowes. The stove and fridge continues to operate smoothly. The microwave worked well the first year then begin to malfunction. The power would cut off in the middle of heating a meal. I would unplug the power cord then plug it back in the outlet after 10 secs to turn the power back on. I thought that it could be an issue with the power outlet or breaker. My electrician confirmed both sources were working properly. So this malfunction occurred often until recently the microwave goes out after 5 secs of running. Then I repeat the plugging and unplugging every 5 to 10 secs until the food warms up. This is frustrating because I always have to drag the tall bar stool and use it as a stepping stool to reach the power outlet inside the rear of the cabinet. Sometimes I get so fed up that I just use the oven or stove to heat up my food. I called Samsung service center today and the rep was very polite, took my model number and zip code and provided me the telephone number of the nearest service technician. I called the number and it was not in service. I called Samsung back and this time I reached a rep who was really nice but we struggled to understand each other because of our accents. I explained to him about my earlier call and that the telephone number wasnt in service. He checked and confirmed that was the only service tech listed in my area. I asked whats the alternative. I was advised that since my microwave was out of warranty that I would need to find my own repairer. I asked what is the lifespan of this model because Ive had it 3 yrs and its been malfunction most of the time. My last microwave came with the home in 2001 and still worked fine over 10 yrs later. This is unacceptable.

Also, the ice maker makes a lot of noise. I bought the Samsung electric range model NE59J7630SG in July 2017 from Home Depot when they had the huge sale with refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher. Before, I have been using a different brand electric range for years with no problem. After about 2 months later, I started to see white scratches in the middle of burner. It looked like some liquid residue right underneath the glass top, which I could not get rid of with cleaning. After 3.5 months later, one night, my mom used it before she went to bed, slept, and when we came out the next morning, we saw round shaped broken glasses on the cooktop which soon gave a big long crack across the burner. I called customer service asking for replacement (had 1yr warranty). They sent me a tech to diagnose, then they said they could not replace it because its a physical damage.I requested second opinion, they sent another tech who said he would request for the replacement, didnt hear anything back for 2 weeks. I called the tech and found out Samsung denied it since its a physical damage. The tech said it would cost me $500 just to replace the top after I just spent $750 buying a new one. I have been fighting with Samsung for 2 months now, spoke with 4-5 different managers. Three of them gave me an approval to get it fixed at their cost, but nothing gets done. Every time I call them, I get a different rep at a different location, they cannot connect me to the person I spoke to before. You give them the ticket# with the approval, but doesnt matter. They dont care what the previous manager promised you, you will have to start from the beginning all over again. They are saying its their policy that physical damage is not covered by the warranty, I did something wrong with the range, doesnt admit that its their product defect. I googled to see if people had the same problem as I did, I found people with the same problem!!! Even I found one on this website, this lady her pictures on here and it looked exactly the same as mine and she said one day she heard a loud bang in her kitchen and the crack on her cooktop!! Do not waste your money on Samsung product. Their product is horrible and when there is a problem, good luck with it.

I bought a Samsung model RF217 fridge (no ice dispenser) in Aug 2012. A bit noisy but ok for about a year. Then late summer 2013, I see a puddle of H20 just outside the front door. It wasnt huge and I figured I had spilled it myself. Warranty expired next month. Problems got worse. Ice constantly on crisper bottoms. Massive icebergs in freezer compartment. More H20 puddles... more ice. Ensured nothing blocking air. Powered down to force reset. Oy vey. Theres clearly a design flaw as evidenced by all complaints. When is Samsung going to own up and restore its reputation?

Purchased Samsung FTQ307 in 2012, extended warranty. After 3 years of wonderful use it burns out the inverter and power control board. Contacted Lowes for warranty and they stipulate its out of warranty. I make the purchase to replace burned out cards. It worked for 4 days and burns out in the same fashion. Contacted Lowes again to verify warranty information and then it was under warranty when it originally broke but is not anymore. Contacted Samsung. The glass-top and internals under the glass-top are cover under a 5 year parts warranty. They honored said warranty and added in the labor too since it originally failed under the extended warranty. Technician came out to repair but did not have all the parts. They were on back order. Samsung placed paperwork in to reimburse cost of parts that I installed and began the process of doing a buy back. A few days later Samsung said they never said they were going to reimburse parts cost and that they were would never offer a buy back. Repair guy came out and repaired the stove. 2 hours later it burned out again. Samsung and the repair company have a 30 day labor and 60 day parts warranty. Samsung has now voided all warranty to everything. All my major appliances are Samsung. I will be selling them all with a different company and will not ever own a Samsung device again. In the whole process of dealing with Samsung, they would say and/or offer one thing and the next day take it back or say it never happened. And with the actual repair company Samsung stated that the technician said it was because it was repaired by my hand that I caused the issue, when in fact they did not say that.

The glass top on our stove cracked while boiling water. Contacted Samsung and was given a service ticket and authorized service was dispatched for repair. A few days later receive a text saying the service ticket had been canceled. Contacted and was told they did not know why the service was canceled. They, after contacting them repeatedly for days, issued a new service ticket. Today, two weeks after first contacting, the service finally comes. He has to send pictures of the top to Samsung and they refuse to fix it. The service tech doesn’t understand why and tells us to contact Samsung. I do and they tell me that the pictures show prior damage and they won’t warrant it. I ask what damage they are talking about as it had no damage other the crack that happened while the water was boiling. I was told that there were scratches on the top and a hole. First, we use our every day and there are small scratches where pots and pans sit on the burners and get moved. That’s called normal use. Second I informed them that there is no hole in the the top now, the past or ever. I was told the pictures showed a hole caused by the crack. They actually said I had a hole in my glass top caused by the defective top cracking. Wow. But since there are a few scratches and a made up hole in the top it voids the warranty.

I bought Samsung dishwasher, Model# DWF600UTW/AA. While still it is under warranty service, there was a problem with run ending in the middle and light started flashing. I called for service. The service person pulled out the dishwasher, and pushed it back very hard. When he left, I started the run, and dishwasher leaked all over and water puddled in the basement. There was not just the damage in the basement, but I had to re-install the dishwasher again with my own money. I never had leak before, the service person caused it, and Samsung doesnt want to pay the damages. The standard answer is, warranty is on the equipment parts and not the installation. Although their service person caused it! Another thing, if there is a damage-claim, Samsung transfers you to corporate affairs. They make you wait on the phone for hours! I strongly will advice anyone, not to buy their equipment, because if something goes wrong, this company doesnt take the responsibility. Neither they have a good warranty service.

Purchased RF217ACPN Samsung French Door Refrigerator from Best Buy on July 2011. Nice looking model and would have been great if it lived up to its advertising and promises. Little over a year, then after warranty of course, the refrigerator was not working right. Water accumulated in and under crisper bins. Then eventually loud rotating noise which found out later was the cooling fan. For an energy efficient appliance, I now spend 24 hrs defrosting, packing food in coolers, (still lose some foods) every two months. The WORSE refrigerator ever. I tell anyone I see looking at them in a store and hopefully stop them from wasting money. A class action law suit was filed back in 2011, yet they continue to sell these faulty designed refrigerators ripping off American citizens... Why is this still happening? Samsung has the worse customer service so dont waste your time or phone minutes contacting them. I need a new refrigerator but cant afford it..Thank you Samsung for legally ripping me off. Never again!

I have a one year old Samsung dishwasher and was just told it would cost me $600 to repair it. Of course the warranty just expired...I bought it from Home Depot last year and within 2 weeks was having a problem with it, wouldnt drain, didnt clean well, smart auto error, technician came out to repair and not surprising this wasnt the first time he saw this issue. I wanted to replace it, but of course Samsung wouldnt do that and had to settle for the repair. It is next to impossible to talk to anyone who knows anything at Samsung. ZERO customer service satisfaction! Technician told me to call Samsung and see if they will pay for parts and I would just pay for the labor...I would rather have all my fingernails ripped off than to make this phone call as we all know how this will end! I am so frustrated and angry with Samsung. How do they get away with this??? I would like to take my complaint further, any suggestions? Maybe the BBB? Has anyone attempted this.

We have had this fridge for almost 18 months. We bought it from Best Buy along with a 5-year warranty. When Best Buy delivered it all 3 doors had massive dents in them. They brought new ones within a few days. The ice maker has spewed ice chips no matter what size/shape the glass you use or where you hold it under the dispenser, ice goes all over the floor. The ice maker makes so much noise in the process of making ice that it makes a crashing sound. The right side door doesnt stay open!!! The wonderful techs at Best Buy have been out at least 5 times to repair both, along with sending new parts, etc. and it is just the same as before they tried anything new. This is a defective appliance and NO ON CARES!!! The go through the motions to honor the warranty and now there is nothing they can do. Samsung is even more worthless. How can two large companies be allowed to continually rip people off with products and services that dont work properly? Are there longer morals and truth in business? Who do we have to stand up for all of us collectively? Where is accountability?

I am really scared with the previous reviews. I bought from Sears a Samsung microwave model SMH187S. Then we got the SE message and the constant sequences of 5 annoying beeps. I took the power off even for days hoping the computer will reset... negative. I went to internet where some people claimed cleaning the terminals will do it… negative. This is absurd, a microwave less than 3 years. I have to bring back from my garage a Whirlpool microwave, a very basic and inexpensive model that I have used for more than 10 years and it works well. I am upset with myself letting the Sears salesman convince me that Samsung was the best choice. Where is the government? Where is the customer protection of other times? Where is the respect? It should be an official recall. I will start talking to Samsung and if they ignore me, I will start a movement for a class action against Samsung. The biggest class actions always have started with one person. Arrogant companies that believed were invincible like Blockbuster, Pan Am, Motorola, AOL, Sears went down or are just going out of business. Samsung… beware.

DWF800A (DW80F600UTS) - I bought a brand new stainless steel dishwasher by Samsung on 5th September. It did not work out of the box. I contacted Samsung and they arranged for a technician to call me back. A week later, the technician called and arranged to visit and check it out in a few weeks time. On the arranged day, the technician called to say he wouldnt be out as the parts hadnt arrived. Another week later he called again to arrange a visit - another week later. Eventually, the technician called, replaced the sensors and circuit board and declared that it should be ok hopefully. The dishwasher worked for one wash, then went back to the exact same fault - not emptying. We called the technician back and he said it would be at least 3 weeks before he could call again. Its now 2 months since we received this piece of junk, so I called Samsung again. After 20 minutes on the phone with customer service, they escalated to Executive customer service. After 20 minutes with them, where I asked for it to be replaced or refunded, as it wasnt fit for purpose, I was told that I would just have to wait for the technician to call again. So Samsung are more than happy that I have a non-working Samsung product, have had to take 3 days holidays to wait for their technician and am out of pocket for almost $1000 for a piece of ** not-fit-for-purpose junk for 3 months.I have a house full of Samsung products, from cell phones and TVs to all of the major household appliances. Well Samsung, let me tell you I have gone from being a big Samsung fan to a total hater of Samsung - I will not be replacing any product with another Samsung, due to this shoddy treatment. Please do yourself a favour - dont buy this piece of junk. I will update in another months time, when the technician has had another go at fixing this POS.

Even by todays standards - where risk for product reliability is forced onto consumers who must then buy extended warranties - this fridge is terrible. It makes god-awful noise twice a day that you can hear all over the house. I called BrandsMart three days in to complain and they said thats just how it sounds, too bad for me. I will not buy a Samsung anything ever again - and certainly not from BrandsMart. Service on this through extended warranty has been horrible. I purchased a Samsung 5.9 cu. ft. electric range from Sears outlet (certified). After 90 days, the range wouldnt turn on, all functions stopped. The computer board is defective. Samsung didnt honor the warranty as it was out of the box. Sears, even though has a warranty for a year on all products purchased in their store, required that we buy additional warranty contract. With that, they ordered the part from overseas, and we have been waiting for 7 weeks with no range. Samsung does not provide parts to their range. There has been a class action suit filed against Samsung related to damages caused as a result of the poorly designed ice maker in side by side refrigerator/freezers and the resulting leaks. Repairs are now being made for free for some models made within specific dates. Our particular model is a part of the suit but not for the date on which ours was produced. However, the technician who came to make the repair stated that its the most common call he receives. Our ice maker leaks, the line freezes and the ice maker must constantly be reset. The ice maker must be totally replaced. No costs are covered so this is a $700.00 cost to us. This will be the last Samsung product that we purchase.

If you want the worlds worst customer service and to deal with a company who will do anything to avoid standing by their warranty, then buy a Samsung. On May 16 our side by side fridge stopped working. We have been EXTREMELY frustrated with customer support. We were first told Williamston TV in Farmingdale, NY would be calling us to set up an appointment. After not receiving a call from them, I called their center and they informed me they do not work on appliances. I contacted Samsung again and was given Rods in Riverhead, NY. Someone was suppose to come out today between 9 and 10 am - but no one from their center ever answered their phone. My husband ended up losing a days work because he took off to be home for the repairman. When I googled that company, their average review received 1 out of 5 stars (with many references of no one answering their phone and people never showing up to their house). I then called Samsung again and after 1/2 hour the customer service woman told us those were the only 2 centers on Long Island. Finally she told us we could get our own diagnostic and email it. Local appliance company - Recommended new refrigerator. Unit has bad evaporated coil and cover. According to the warranty from website this is covered under the 5 YEAR PARTS AND LABOR. In addition to the inconvenience, we have lost several hundred dollars in spoiled food, my husband losing a day of work, and a freezer full of pumped breast milk for my 3 month old. We need to have a response and action done immediately as we are continuing to have to go to the store to get ice to store my sons milk and keep my one and half year old sons medicine.Samsungs email response - We are sorry to hear about your response, we will dispatch Williamston TV repair. (Note - this is exactly the company I mentioned that does not work on appliances.) Samsung Executive Customer Service phone response - We need to wait for Samsung to look over and evaluate their contract with Rods. If they decide Rods is not responsive then they will put our claim through an evaluation to see if they will in fact accept the local appliance diagnostic and allow them to do the repair, a process which could take two weeks to get an approval. Shame on you Samsung! Stop telling me I will do everything to help you and I am sorry to hear you are experiencing problems. Purchased the Samsung French door refrigerator in mid-July 2014 (model #RF217ACRS/XAA) from HOME DEPOT and in mid-November 2014, while still under warranty, it stopped working completely and is currently sitting in my kitchen. I called the Samsung 800-726-7864 number on 11/6 to report the failure and ask for service. The woman I spoke to asked me to describe the problem which was that even though the digital readings at the top said the frig was 38F and the freezer was -2F, the food in the freezer had thawed and all items in the frig were warm. I asked for service and she gave me a transaction number (which I recorded) and said a technician would call within 24 hours. On 11/7 no call came in, so I called the service Center at 800-905-9505. They had no repair order for me and told me to call 800-726-7864, which I did and spoke to Frank, who said he would schedule the service and gave me a confirmation number. On 11/8, no technician called so I called the service number again. Again, I was told by Angel, no service order had been created. I went to the website and began an online chat with Vance ** who gave me more numbers (which I recorded) and referred me back to the 800-726-7864. After the chat they asked me to fill out a survey, which I was so happy to do and related the above travails. I then called the 800-726-7864 number again and got a recording that the line was closed for the weekend. On Sunday, 11/9, Samsung employee called and reviewed the previous transactions. She didnt know why the service had not been scheduled and scheduled it for me for Monday, 11/11 between 1-5 p.m. (ticket # **). To double check, I called the 800-905-9505 number to see if they had the order and they did. Monday morning at 8:33 a.m., I received a message from Jason at the service center canceling the appointment as his technicians were ill and was told to call the 800-905-9505 number and reschedule. The repair is currently schedule for Thursday, 11/12 between 8 a.m.-12 p.m. Well see if they show up and if so, what the repair is likely to be. Based on the reviews of these Samsung products I have read here, I am not optimistic that this product will every operate correctly. I would be very interested in joining with others about actions that can be taken to remedy this complete failure to back their products or provide customer service.

We bought our Samsung refrigerator/freezer (model RF217ACRS) approximately 3 years ago. Worked just fine until shortly after purchase, one day noticed the bottom drawer freezer wouldnt close. Upon inspection noticed ice about a half inch thick in bottom under drawers. Chipped it out with an ice pick. Huge pieces of ice! Drawer closed fine once ice removed. Thought it was our fault, since maybe we hadnt shut door properly so didnt worry. This has now kept happening and I chip ice out of the bottom about once a week.Same for vegetable/fruit drawers in fridge. They fill with water (about 1/2 inch) and food was getting soaked/frozen. I ended up buying mats to elevate food in both drawers so they wouldnt get wet! Every week I take out drawers and pour water out. Also, ice/water build up underneath these two drawers too, that I chip/dry out once a week. Usually takes 2 to 3 dish towels to soak up excess water, then I chip away at ice!!! It is a huge pain, but after reading the other reviews here dont feel a service call will do any good. Guess we are stuck with a loser of a fridge/freezer for a few years and doing extra to keep it running and water/ice free. Will never buy Samsung again.Side note: We did not buy the ice maker, so that is not an issue or contributing factor to our problems.

We purchased a 2 door, 2 drawer Samsung refrigerator at a cost of approximately $4,000.00, 3 years ago. The fridge stopped working a few months ago. We had an appliance repair company that was referred to us by Home Depot for this brand. The circuit board was defective. Samsung stopped making that particular circuit board and refused a solution for the repair of our fridge. After checking out the Samsung service of parts for repair, we found out they do not support the repair companies with parts or solutions. Therefore we had to dispose of our 3 year old fridge and buy a new one for about the same cost. What happened to refrigerators that last 10 to 15 years??? I would caution anyone when it comes to Samsung refrigerators, BUY ANOTHER BRAND!!!

Ive had ongoing issues with the error code 9E since I purchased a Samsung dishwasher 3 years ago. Ive had it serviced 2-3 times per year. I had problems under warranty and under the extended service contract from Lowes. Now I am on my own to continue to struggle with it. I replaced a unit from another manufacturer that was 20 years old that worked better. I am very disappointed and will never purchase another Samsung product. The 9E error code is the water fill tank which can get blocked or dirty. I use dishwashing grease cutting soap occasionally to reduce this problem. But I clean and rinse my dishes with soap and water prior and never put food covered dishes in. This has been a major mistake in purchasing. I intend to replace a less than 5-year-old machine as this error code goes on every other washing.

I had bought Samsung fridge freezer side by side and bought quite early as it was on special offer and our home had just started the renovation. So when the delivery came did not open as we put trust on the consumer products and because it was dusty in the house. I just kept it in the box. Once the renovation was done opened the box so excitedly and what do I see? Big dent on the door and small dent on the side of the fridge. We rang Samsung straight away and explained to them what we found and why we delayed on opening the box. But they did not want to know as it was over 28 days. I ask them to just replace the door and that has big dent but No. We have families and friends come to visit us and they see the dent on the door and they laugh. Not on us but on Samsung, and they say See SAMSUNG ARE NOT GOOD.There is no reliability that Samsung offers to their customers after the product is sold. Reading all the other reviews, looks like these problems are just a beginning. I have Samsung products that we have are phones, TV, DVD recorder. We have had issue only with our Samsung fridge freezer, but with this experience we promised ourselves not to purchase any Samsung merchandise in the future. Very very poor service from Samsung home appliance and customer relations. But hey guess what if any of the staff or any other higher position and CEO family and friends had problem they would have helped them with one click.

Unit stopped cooling. I have a $800 bill on a fridge that is 2-years old (out of warranty). $663.10 + $113 non refundable diagnostics call. Almost $800 on a 2-year old fridge. I want to know if Samsung cares about the integrity and quality of their products. I would like Samsung to help me out on this problem (T9000 refrigerator stopped cooling in the main refrigerator area). I built my kitchen around this product that seems to be garbage. Model: RF32FMQDBSR. S/N W76643BFA00409P. List of problems: 1) Compressor. 2) Inverter board X2. 3) PCB Main. 4) Evaporator. 5) Materials + labor.

Refrigerator RF4287HA - We paid $350 to have a authorized Samsung repair service tell us that insulation foam trapped in the overflow tube caused our lower freezer drawer to build up ice and eventually prevent the drawer from opening. Two months later the problem returned. We began a process of turning off power, emptying the drawers, placing hot water in pan within and melting down the build up. We do this 6 to 8 times a year since purchasing it. Today I went online to ask if Samsung has a permanent fix and they gave no advice - but did ask for my credit card for which they claim I would get an answer. Scam? Is Samsung a South or North Korean company? They are the worst.

I am having the same problem as Kimberly from California reviewed back in September on the water filter replacement cartridge DA29-00003G for the SAMSUNG French Door Refrigerator. No matter how hard I try to twist the filter, it will not seat into the receptacle even though it is the correct filter listed in my owners manual. The previous filter is an off brand made by HDX as a replacement for Samsung and it worked fine. The only difference between the two is the locking mechanism on the neck as Kimberly illustrated in her pics and I have attached my own pic as well. I have used SAMSUNG replacement filters before and this is the first time experiencing this problem. This engineering problem needs to be remedied immediately before someone ends up breaking their refrigerator and paying hundreds of dollars in replacement parts or even having to buy a new refrigerator! In the meantime I will return my filter to the store and spend my money on the other brands filter. This is a very poor oversight on SAMSUNGs part!

There is a sensor to defrost the fridge and send the water created down a drain for evaporation. This sensor fails to work causing water to pool inside either under the crisper drawers or the cool select pantry. If the water is not noticed, it will ultimately flow from the unit onto the floor. Sometimes this sensor will also cause freezing of the fan that keeps air circulating in the refrigerator. Personally, I had this problem repaired on 4/3/12 and today, 10/29/12, I have called Samsung to report that it is happening again. Their customer service stated that the repair is not covered, is out of warranty and they will not pay to replace/repair. I decided to do a little research via the web and after typing in various forms of the following question: water leaks in bottom of fridge, water under food drawer, water leaking from fridge, etc, I have come across over 2,000 inquiries to this question just from the Samsung website. When I visited other sites, i.e. AppliancePartsPros.com and ConsumerAffairs.com, I saw another 500 plus complaints. So how do we get Samsung to admit this is a defective part and correct the problem for all of us? I slipped on my tile floor because of the water and now have my ankle in a brace. Other folks have complained about flooring becoming damaged, food loss, all sorts of problems because of this defect. I cant afford to keep calling a serviceman out for the same problem and probably lots of others feel the same. Thank you for looking into this matter.

I purchased a Samsung microwave model # SMH 9151S 1 year and 5 months ago. The unit has abruptly failed. The unit will not power on, nothing responds. I contacted Samsung and faxed them all of my purchase information. Samsung contacted me to say (what I had feared) that it was beyond the 1-yr. warranty and they would contact a repair person to come and diagnose the problem. I would have to cover all of the expense. Many consumers are in the same boat. We can either pay for a repair that will often exceed the value of the unit or buy a new unit.

I called Samsung and they sent electronic tech out after 2 weeks but they could not fix the problem. They came back 2 more times. Total of 2 months of waiting for the stove to get fixed. Just recently the left stove did not work and I purchased it 1 year and 1 month, so I no longer have a warranty. I bought the most expensive range and it did not last long. Please stay away from Samsung ranges.

It was so bad that we had to have towels around the fridge and change them a couple times a day. Scheduled the repair service, however, the repairman couldnt figure out what the problem was. They called Samsung and they have a problem with these models with the water filter housing unit. He ordered the part and scheduled another service call to install the part a week later. In the meantime, my floor is completely ruined from all the water leakage. It will have to be torn up and completely redone.

What happened to those stove and ovens we had for 8-10 years before they showed any distress?!! About 6 months after purchasing and installing our OTR Samsung microwave, the popcorn setting began to burn up the bags of popcorn so we quit using that setting. Then roughly 8 months later (and after the warranty ran out) our microwave started to turn itself off and give an SE error message. After doing this for three or four times, the front panel just went out and never came back on regardless of our attempts to revive it.I went online and began to research the problem and it is very obvious that this is an inherent problem with Samsung OTR microwaves despite their previous top rating. And most of the reports state that the replacement costs are prohibitive and the replacement parts also malfunction. Now we are stuck with a $350.00 piece of junk and it is not even 1 1/2 years since the purchase! Planned obsolescence? I bought this microwave because it was highly rated and because it matched my other Samsung kitchen appliances. Oh well, I cant get my money back and it doesnt make any sense to repair it - so it goes to the landfill. Ridiculous! I wont buy another one, but I do wish that everyone knew about the issues with these microwaves prior to even considering this brand of microwave oven, especially because this is an ongoing problem and Samsung is well aware of it.

Samsung Refrigerator Model RB215LASH - Samsung is a disgrace. I have sworn off any product made by Samsung as a result of my experience with this refrigerator. This refrigerator began giving me trouble at ten months. I went out of town to work and when I came home it wasnt working at all. Neither Lowes nor Samsung was concerned about the fact that they are selling a piece of junk. I contacted Samsungs recommended repair company and during the visit, I was advised that no one wants to work on them because they continue to fail even after repairs are made.A faulty refrigerator is a health and safety issue and has the potential to kill. The digital thermometer displays the temperature incorrectly. Perishable food items stored above 40 degrees for more than two hours can grow deadly bacteria. Samsung, you should be ashamed. Unfortunately, today it is all about the dollar, and honor and integrity have no place in the corporate equation. Im not sure why, but I did expect more from Lowes. Next step for me will be a catchy little video on YouTube where I use my Samsung refrigerator as an anchor, pushing it off of a boat with a big blue ribbon tied around it. (Dont worry, Ill make sure not to harm the environment in the process and to hoist it back up and dispose of it properly after the filming.)

In November 4, 2016 I called to question the ice cube maker not making cubed ice and having water come out with the ice. I did what they suggested but no help. Then started the paper and date trail. They did send someone to fix it in Dec. and said that it was out of warranty but would accommodate. The service company has been here 4 times and they are sending them out a 5th time but now say that the warranty starts from purchase date so even though I started this within the year it was in my possession this was the best they can do. Do they really only warranty from purchase date, why pay for their product until installed then?

We purchased the Samsung RF30KMEDBSG/AA from Home Depot in August 2017. Within two months the ice maker completely froze over and was a giant block of ice. Samsung customer service instructed me to put the ice maker into a forced defrost and run that several times. They said it was because the unit was new and had air in the water lines. A week of getting good ice and then another block of ice. This went on several times until I forced Samsung to send a service tech to my home. I cited the now known class action suit to get them to come service the unit. The tech force defrosted the ice maker, sealed the compartment with clear silicone and replaced the entire ice maker mechanism. He stated this is the standard repair and thats about all they could do. Over the next four months we would get occasional build up on the ice maker which we would clean off and run it through a maintenance cycle. We are at no less than 3 customer service calls for different issues and at least 6 for the ice maker alone. Samsung has serviced the unit twice and given instructions for the homeowner to service as needed which we have performed almost bi-monthly.Last week the freezer compartment warmed up to 52 degrees and all our frozen food was lost. Of course we are now a few months out of warranty and they would come look at it but parts and labor is at our own expense. After reading more online reviews and complaints regarding Samsung products, I will never be purchasing another of their products. I spoke with Home Depot regarding the issue and they were supportive but understandably unable to assist at this point. 14 month old $2500 refrigerator that is useless and unreliable but the one star is because it looks great!

For some reason froze up again and started working. Now there is a continuous build up of water leaking on the bottom of fridge below the crisper drawers. From the reviews Ive read, this is a regular problem with these fridges. Thats what I get for buying made in China crap from an un-reputable company. We lose our manufacturing jobs and keep them employed by having to constantly buy products that are built for obsolescence. We keep spending and getting poorer so they stay employed and richer. We have purchased a four door Samsung refrigerator which in less than a year of usage the refrigerator section no longer was cooling. Called Samsung Customer Service and after spending 45 min on the phone I was transferred to the Executive Customer Relations only to answer a myriad of questions that were already answered during the first call and supposedly documented in the service ticket. The Executive Customer Relations could not provide much assistance except for providing the names of two Samsung approved service centers; however, conveniently forgot to provide a service to be provided to the service center. Therefore, when I placed the call to the Service center I was informed that without that number they cannot assist.Called Samsung again, only to go through the same process described above and waste another good hour on the phone to obtain the service ticket number. Called the Service Center and 48 hours later, a technician showed up; however, due to the size and location of the refrigerator he could not assess what needed to be done. He placed a call to the Service Center to re-scheduled the repair and at the end he informed me that he is going to be on site on the following week on Wednesday at 8 AM along with his supervisor **.Wednesday came and at 8:30 AM I called ** to see what time hell be on site only to be informed that hell be in at 10AM. At 10:30 I called their center and was informed that they will not be in till 11AM. They showed up at 11:30AM. The unit was checked by an experienced technician, not Samsung, and later on he provided me with the technical bulletin from Samsung showing that this unit has two independent compressors and it is Not-serviceable; however, the Samsung service technician said that they can fix it. After they checked the refrigerator, both technicians agreed that the unit cannot be fixed.

I bought my Samsung refrigerator in Aug 2013. The soda stream compartment failed in the first 6 months and was replaced under warranty. A year later, the fan in the back of the fridge made loud noises. It was covered with ice so the repairman replaced the entire panel. A year after that, it froze again and the repairman pulled it out and thawed it with a hairdryer. This continued every year. Now that I am in year 5, the main display is now inoperable and beeps continuously. The freezer is 48 degrees and the fridge is at 43. It is not cooling at all. Repairman out today said the main panel needs to be replaced. He got it running, but now the compressor sounds like a helicopter. I would never expect this amount of aggravation from a quality brand. DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR!!! We have decided to buy another brand after 5 years. You would think it would have lasted at least 15.Updated on 08/16/2018: I called Samsung on Aug 3 and was told since my fridge was just under 5 years old, the warranty on the electronics (power board) and compressor would be covered. I submitted all the requested information on their website on Aug 6. After almost 2 weeks (freezer at 62 degrees), a Samsung repair tech came out. He said its not covered under warranty. This is ridiculous to spend $3k on a refrigerator only to have it completely die in under 5 years. I will NEVER buy another Samsung. Im so disappointed.

Updated on 06/24/2020: I called a technician to look at the stove. He told me that the repair would be $325.00. That is more than half of what I paid for the stove. I strongly suggest that you leave this piece of work at the store. Calling their service department is close to useless. They are inefficient and the bottom line is that they do not care about their customers. You can tell how much they care when you read the responses that some of the other customers left. I am the one that reported that there was a gas leak from one of the valves.Original review: Please do not buy this stove. I have had the stove for less than 3 years. In that time 2 of the knobs on the stove have broken. I did glue one of them back together and I will probably get the other one done too. On Sunday the gas valves were working fine and on Monday morning one of the valves froze in the on position allowing gas to escape. This is also what caused the second knob to break. I did not notice that there was any gas still escaping, but when I checked again, I noticed that the burner had lit. This could have resulted in my dying if it would have happened at night and if I had gone to sleep. Better safe than sorry, leave this stove at the store. It should not even be there.

We were excited to buy our Samsung fridge. It looked nice, was spacious, LED lighting, and more. But we have had a lot of problems with the freezer, and so far, it has not been fully addressed. We have lost food, Samsung repair has been out 2 times, replaced 3 different parts, insulted us on the phone - and yet the freezer still has problems. When this first started, we did not realize the freezer was building up ice on the back of the drawer; this area is not visible. Ice was apparently also building up on the rails. So the freezer had trouble closing, and at some point it stayed open about 1/8 for a few days and we lost all our food. We had no idea this was happening. We had Samsung repair come out and they replaced 2 parts. It is a long story, but we were initially led to believe we would get reimbursed for our food loss; not only did Samsung refuse to do that, but a Samsung employee actually called us, and blamed us. Apparently that person was unaware that Samsungs own repair people had replaced two different parts. Blaming us is an attempt at intimidation, to avoid paying the reimbursement. We have this call recorded on voice mail as well. We had no freezer at all for a whole MONTH - for the Samsung repair process - but I do not get the feeling from anyone I have talked to that Samsung cares about this. And the repair did not fully work. Our problems continue, and we can hear ice dropping. A Samsung employee told us there were no complaints about our model at all, which is hard to believe because when we had Samsung repair come out again, the repairman said there was an actual Service Bulletin out on our model. He replaced another part, so that is 3 different parts replaced. Yet, after this 3rd part was replaced, our freezer continues to drop ice. From extensive observation, it seems likely to me that this is a design problem, for Samsung lower-drawer freezers that have ice cubes in the lower drawer. They overfill the container and fall out of the back. And this is not just my opinion - that the design is at fault - one of the repairmen also talked about this.So its been close to a year now that we have had freezer problems. The way Samsung has treated us - trying to blame us for this, and refusing for a long time to reimburse our food loss - has left us very unhappy with Samsung. They finally did reimburse us recently but only after we went to Twitter, LinkedIn, and other places. We are posting on social media (and on this website) because we want people to know what our experience is. Samsung did not have to treat us this way. I have even started a website also about this, and it has a blog too at: **. I suppose Samsung repair could come out yet again - but if its a defective design, then there is nothing that a repairman can do.Since Samsung seems unable (or unwilling) to help us get this resolved, we will at some point just sell this thing, at a big loss no doubt, and find some other brand of refrigerator. If you want to avoid what we have gone through, I recommend you do NOT buy a Samsung refrigerator - or any other Samsung products, if their customer service in other products is as bad as this!

Okay, bought this fridge/freezer six years ago. Worst thing ever bought. When it was two years and two months old, the fan sounded like it was taking off, and you could see that there was ice forming around that area of the fridge. Thankfully, I have a husband that is skilled enough to take the thing to pieces. Then involved defrosting the iced-up fan with a hairdryer (took ages) until the ice melted. Then trying to dry the now wet polystyrene lining and putting it back together. He wasnt happy. I think that lasted one year, and the process has to be repeated every time we hear the fan trying to belt its way out the back of the fridge. We are now down to every three months, and well and truly over it.What a dog of a unit. I still love the layout and the ease of the fridge, but what use is something that needs major attention every three months. Fingers crossed nothing has happened to the freezer side of the unit as yet. At present, as I sit here typing, all my food is in chilly bins, a heater is busy at the fridge door, warming the ice so that it will melt. The worst thing is knowing that that this will happen again, and again, until we dump the thing and say goodbye to a $2,200.00 purchase that should have had years of life in it. My husband reckons the people in charge of the design should be dealt to very roughly.

I purchased the Samsung French Door RF26V Series Refrigerator at Lowes. App
I purchased the Samsung French Door RF26V Series Refrigerator at Lowes. Approximately 15 months afterwards the refrigerator was not cooling properly and I noticed back wall inside was frozen. I was forced to purchase a used refrigerator and put in my garage because it was unsafe to store food at 45 deg. Repairman told me to unplug it for 3 days and let it defrost or thaw out and try to restart, and if that doesnt work he will come look at it. Also the ice maker just keeps pushing ice out the top of the bin causing it to break the bin - $99 for replacement. I paid $2500.00 for this appliance and I am very disappointed with the Samsung product. I will never purchase another Samsung appliance nor will I recommend the product to friends or family. This is day 2 of defrost, I feel like Im in the olden days of having to defrost the refrigerator. I am a widow raising a teenager and cannot afford to buy a new one. Thank you.

I purchased my microwave in 2010 Serial # J4LVMOSC00753V. After about 2 yea
I purchased my microwave in 2010 Serial # J4LVMOSC00753V. After about 2 years I got the infamous 5E error. I found information on the internet as to how to repair it myself. When I opened the front of the unit to access the inside of the control panel, I found that the hot wire connector was melted. I must have been very close to a fire! I replaced the connector and dried the wires to correct the 5E error. The 5E error reappeared again after a few months. I again dried the wires. To keep the story short, the 5E error appeared more and more frequently, until finally it was happening weekly. The unit is now waiting for the junk man to collect it.

Hoping you can give me suggestion to file a significant complaint to Samsun
Hoping you can give me suggestion to file a significant complaint to Samsung regarding my side by side refrigerator (RS554NRUASL). We bought this two years ago for our second home from which we only used during Christmas and summer or about a total of less than five months. Due to the pandemic, we again use it since August but the unit was already DEFECTIVE. We filed a complaint thru the Samsung website but they only accept queries for their digital units. There was even an option in their website to complain to the Samsung CEO, from which I did, but to no avail. We are also in touch with the local service rep of Samsung since the the first week of September, paid a big amount for parts and service but the unit is still DEFECTIVE! Please help.

I thought the oven/range would be really good because Samsung is well known
I thought the oven/range would be really good because Samsung is well known brand- for keyboards. Oven light stopped working in less than a month, followed by the convection fan. Most recently I discovered the “Samsung” etched on the stove was actually stickers that wiped off one by one as I cleaned. Oh and the indicator light that lets you know the stovetop is hot, sunk into the panel and I can’t retrieve it. The oven cooks unevenly, but the range cooks well. No complaints about the stovetop really.

We also purchased this Samsung Model SMH9187ST approximately 22 months ago.
We also purchased this Samsung Model SMH9187ST approximately 22 months ago. Weve already had several episodes with the SE code. My husband dried it out with a hair dryer and it worked for a while then quit again. Now, nothing works to keep it operational. Considering the number of complaints, a replacement or a work around that actually works is needed. No one who purchased this microwave less than 2 years ago should have to write off their purchase. I will post this on the Sears site (where I purchased it) and on Amazon.com
