We purchased the Samsung Dishwasher to match our other Samsung appliances,
We purchased the Samsung Dishwasher to match our other Samsung appliances, both of which we have never had an issue with. The washer has broken once on month for the year we have had it. We have had innumerable service calls. They have replaced the main board twice. Everything from the pump to the latch have been replaced. Multiple error codes, the machine never works. We are always hand washing dishes, either because we are waiting in service, or if the machine is working you have to wash them before you put them in the dishwasher, per our service man, our dishes were too dirty. Or you have to wash them when they come out of the dishwasher because they are dirtier than they were when you put them in. The dishwasher recirculates the nasty water, evenly distributes it around to all your dishes and then bakes the dirt on in the heated dry cycle. Our friends have a 1990 broke down dishwasher. The door wont shut on. It sound like street sweeper, but it gets the dishes cleaner than our Samsung. What a shame! Our factory warranty is a service warranty, they will just keep fixing it till the service tech deems in unrepairable. You would think someone would have the sense to replace the machine and cut costs. Sounds like even if they did I would still have issues.

It absolutely amazes me that SAMSUNG thinks it is okay for a 4 year old microwave to come on anytime the door is opened. Anyone else see a problem that this is dangerous to our children whom did not realize it was not working properly, so they stuck their hand in the microwave to lay the food on the turntable - all the while the microwave was operating - WITH THE DOOR OPEN??? I have a ticket number, a chat ID number and 2 phone calls from ** from their escalation team. Each of these encounters with their support team showed no concerns nor did they think they were responsible or liable for anything, they will NOT fix my microwave. So, for now I am using my 15 year old Sharp microwave in my garage. I replaced the keypad after 2 years because if you boiled anything on the right side of your stove the vent is not adequate enough nor is the keypad waterproofed so the condensation gets in and shorts it out. The repairman informed me Samsung had since figured this out on the next years model and corrected it, but did they repair my keypad? NO! I suppose I shouldve known better than to think they would care that my microwave comes on as soon as anyone opens the door, they were not concerned in the least! Guess my new 60 inch TV will be a Panasonic, that definitely changed my mind.

I purchased this fridge 8 months ago brand new. The ice maker is out again, 4th time since November and it was purchased in June 2014. Samsung will have someone come out to service it, it will last about a month, then its out again. I have to miss work once a month to wait on appliance repair to basically put a bandage on it. I purchased this refrigerator for over $2,000 and I cant even get a working ice maker. Im so angry with Samsung for selling a lemon for a fridge. I could have spent that money anywhere else but I trusted Samsung. I can see how this was a big mistake, one that will NEVER happen again. Samsung should stay out of the appliance business!!

I was looking for a specific dimension and appearance including water/ice dispenser, but flexible on price. I have a house built in the 1970s, so my kitchen layout is unusual by todays standards. I found a Samsung side-by-side that fit the size requirement and also had large freezer space and water/ice dispenser. After getting it installed, I had a problem for a while with the refrigerator side and water filter getting below freezing, but then I realized I had a plastic container blocking the vent inside the fridge, and its no longer a problem.

We bought a high-end stainless steel double door with freezer drawer. In less than two years we began to hear a noise coming from the fan. We called Samsung and got transferred to five different people. In this lengthy process, we found out that our refrigerator was made in Canada. We bought the refrigerator from Lowe’s in Honolulu. Shortly after we called for a repair appointment, the fan stopped working and hundreds of dollars worth of food got ruined. Refrigerators are supposed to be made to last, at least, ten years. Samsung is an embarrassment to its country a should be ashamed. I will never buy another Samsung appliance and will be wary of buying their electronic products as well. Shame on Samsung for making an inferior product.

I purchased this beautiful refrigerator RF4287HA. After 13 months, an error code showed up on the display. I called Samsung and they sent out a repair service. When this particular one was made, the assembly line forgot to put the protective plastic cover over one of the sensors which allowed the sensor to drop down and be cut off by the smaller plastic drawer in the freezer. Repairman said we should get our money back for the service repair since this was a defect when this one was made (even though it was about 5 weeks over the 1-year warranty).Basically, somebody did not do their job when our refrigerator was made. After 4 calls to Samsung, they told us to send a statement from the repairman and they would refund our service call fee. After 2 months, a message was left that it was not going to be refunded. I talked with the service rep and he said, Sorry, its not going to happen. I assured him that I would make sure everyone I come in contact with would know what kind of company Samsung is. Buyer beware.

Ice dispenser went crazy and was dispensing ice inadvertently into the kitchen floor. 542 dollars later, new front panel with control board, now will not make ice. A&E/Sears made an effort to repair and 3 days later, still no ice. Repair tech said there is a service bulletin if my unit was made 2 months earlier, but parts are still over 500 dollars. To schedule a Tech, usually takes another 2-3 weeks also. Junk is a conservative adjective for this refrigerator. I have read many reviews of consumers with the same problems. I think it is time for a class action law suit against the manufacturer.

On Friday 4/14/17 my 1 1/2 year old Samsung refrigerator had iced up so I unplugged it and defrosted it. Upon start up the display and controls did not work so I called Samsung service. Samsung service supposedly set up a service appointment for the unit to be service Monday morning (they gave me a reference number). I took off work only to get a call from a repair company to set up an appointment. I asked to be transferred to Samsung. A Samsung employee answered and after I started telling her my problem she hung up. I called back and Jose answered this time. He spoke broken/heavily accented English and after being no help in getting a repair person out today, I asked to be forwarded to a manager. He put me on hold, came back after 5 minutes and said he was forwarding me to a manager. After waiting another 5 minutes on line Samsungs system cut me off. I called back a third time and the only thing they did for me was to contact a repair company to set up an appointment. I lost 4 hours of pay waiting on the service that never came. Samsung has poor products and even poorer service. I will never buy another Samsung product again.

Purchased refrigerator during October 2015 and appliance began giving problems about 8 months later. After much bureaucracy to get a repair through warranty, the problem still remains. The Ice Maker freezes in the back of the refrigerator and stops the Ice Making mechanism from making Ice until the ice built up in the back is chilled away or melted with a blow dryer. This process needs to be performed every three weeks. Water also leaks from the ice dispenser and the crisper tray seems to accumulate water under it and ultimately it leaks to the floor under the fridge.

Please do not buy this refrigerator. Im trying to save you annoyance and time. I need to know how this will end. I strongly dont recommend this product of the Samsung refrigerator. They may can make other good things but refrigerators isnt one of them. We have a loud noise coming from the back of it. The repairman told us to cut the water off and dont use it. He said they been having problems with the ice maker. But were like we paid extra for the ice maker. Do you think everybody need to get together and do a lawsuit for them to finally do a recall back on this product?

We purchased the Samsung model DMT 300 RFS dishwasher from Lowes. We are extremely unhappy with the performance. First, it has broken over a dozen glasses, a problem we have never had with other dishwashers. Also, after every load, we are rewashing some dishes by hand due to poor cleaning. We have tried different rinse agents and detergents and more extensive pre-cleaning but nothing helps. But the straw that broke the back was a problem four days out of warranty that we had to pay to get fixed. The staff on the help line was rude at best but far better than the supervisor I spoke with. I will not buy another Samsung product after the way she treated me. My advice is if you buy Samsung, buy the extended warranty - youll need it!

We have a very bad experience with the service of Samsung Refrigerator. It took nearly a week for them to visit our place to check on the complaint made. We had to follow with the service centre every day and request for a call back from the supervisor. The reason for the delay was lockdown. We were already on phase 4 of lockdown and most of the technicians had started moving around. They checked on our refrigerator and was told the problem could be either with the compressor or the inverter board and that they have to place an order for it and it will take 3 days...They finally came after 4 days and they said both and the board had to be replaced. It worked and the technician hardly stepped out and the same problem came up. We tried contacting the technician ..who said he cant come back immediately and he came the following day and said there was a problem with the compressor again... Mind you.. it was a new compressor ...and again they have to place another order and it will take another 3 days. The problem is they will not answer your calls nor will they update you on whats happening. The call center is pathetic. I have been calling them for the last 2 days requesting that we need to speak the supervisor. They say they will arrange for a callback but no one calls. Till now I have not received any call from them. Product may be good but if the service is bad.... We will never want to recommend this brand to anyone... Very poor response and poor service. Higher authorities need to check on this and address this issue immediately especially when there is so much competition. We have been without a refrigerator in this peak summer for nearly 2 weeks now. Dont know how long more we have to wait..??

I paid over $2,000 for a refrigerator that started to make loud noises after one year of purchase which of course was the end date of my warranty through Samsung. I had spoke to Samsung several times about the issue and nothing was done. I had Home Service Plus which I felt was not their job to fix come out seven times deeming my refrigerator unfixable. I also had a Samsung washing machine that exploded in my basement. My house is full of Samsung products and I wish I could return them all. Very disappointed customer.:-(

Like many, didnt read reviews... bought $2000+ fridge in 2014. The ice maker stops working within first year! Repair person said it was the drawer. Fixed for a month or so and then back to ice buildup on the tray which jams the ice maker! We are constantly chipping ice out of the ice maker and de-thawing it with a hair dryer! One thing I am going to check is the 2% back level that the fridge is supposed to be leveled to. A previous post brought this up. From the sounds of the reviews, I am in for many more problems! THIS IS A JUNK PRODUCT, DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG FRIDGES!!!

This refrigerator was installed by the RV Company in our RV. After one trip, the refrigerator stopped cooling. I called Samsung and got nothing but a run around. It seems that there is not a repairman anywhere in our area. We now have a Refrigerator that wont cool and was only used two weeks. We dont have a receipt for this refrigerator because it was installed in the RV by the manufacturer. Samsung has a problem understanding that when you buy an RV, you dont get receipts for every item installed in them. Buyer be aware that Samsung supposedly does there on repair work but there may not be a service center in your area!!

My fridge looks great, is relatively easy to clean, has lots of space and only a few less-than-perfect attributes: you must NOT pack stuff around the air-flow at the back of the fridge; the gasket is NOT tough enough (already cracked after 3 yrs); the plastic cover for the deli-drawer cracked! Overall, I would buy the unit again despite the 3 deficiencies detailed above. It cools well, looks great, and has lots of room.

My Samsung refrigerator model Rf260BEAEWW was delivered 5 days ago. I had to attach three handles which requires 6 small anchor screws. Only four were included, so I called customer service. After a 34 minute phone call with Samsung where I was continually made to feel not like a customer but as a person trying to scam them for two screws. They advised they had to determine if it was within 30 days and after giving them the serial # I also gave them the manufacturing date of June 2017. After 30 minutes, they told me I would then have to send them a copy of my receipt. It would then have to be approved to send these two screws.Totally frustrated I went to the store I bought it. They called Samsung and the salesperson advised, after an hour on the phone with their rep, they were going to contact me and arrange when a tech could come out and look at my refrigerator before it would be verified that I would receive these two screws. Still waiting, totally ridiculous. Obviously a very authoritative organization, lacking leadership and the ability to allow simple decisions to its employees.

We bought a Samsung RF26J7500SR 3 door refrig eleven months ago. WHAT A POS. The refrig compartment fan system keeps freezing up (repairman said its an inherent design error! ), preventing it from staying cold. We threw out everything inside on Labor day as all the food spoiled waiting the 12 days for the repairman. Then I was told we had to reschedule since the refrig needed to be unplugged for 48 hours for all the internal ice covering the fan blades to melt. On the return visit days later parts were replaced and a factory anti-freezing kit installed. Now, two months later, the fridge is full of Thanksgiving leftovers and its warm inside again, seems like the same problem. Samsung customer service can only confirm its broken, gave me the number of a local repair guy that will fix it under warranty. I assume the repairman will give me an appointment 12 days from when they call me back, which was how long it took for them to come to the house for the first repair!!! Looks like we will throw out everything again. What a joke. I will have to take another vacation day to wait for the repairman. Anyone who buys a Samsung refrigerator needs their head examined!!! I will never ever buy another Samsung appliance of any kind.

Purchased Samsung Black Stainless French Door - bottom freezer on 6/10/17. Freezer stopped working in 4/2019. Samsung said they would do a 1 X free parts - I would have to pay labor (or vice versa). Warranty was up (less than 2 years since purchase). They entered a wrong phone on service request - not just a wrong number but something made up like: 12345678 which cancelled my appointment because service provider could not reach me. Called them back and they told me they were sorry and because of this they would also pay both the labor and parts. Meanwhile I had researched what could have been wrong and found quite a few google answers that people experienced same thing and it was the evaporator motor. I relayed that to service provider so if they brought that part it would be fixed sooner than later. (Side note at this point we also had to buy a freezer so all the food we stocked up on during pandemic didnt end up in the garbage). They fixed it. Several months later both the refrigerator and freezer stopped working. I called Samsung and immediately was told I would have to pay for repair. I questioned it ONLY. But was prepared to pay the $99 for a diagnostic. They put in service ticket and then noticed days later it was cancelled? I called them and they said we cancelled it because you refused to pay. I never refused to pay?!I ended up called the service provider - they sorted it out and I paid them $99 for house call. They diagnosed it as needing some kind of sealer and refrigerant and Samsung has lengthened the time of the warranty of that particular problem (probably must be an ongoing issue). They had to come back a week later. I was also told - it may or may not work. Sure enough end of May freezer died. Service provider could not come out until the 11th of June. Beginning of beginning of June 2020 refrigerator died as well. Had to throw out all perishables. So we got less than 3 years use. One correction - I communicated with Samsung through their CHAT option. I ended up cancelling the appointment today 6/9/20 and taking the loss and ordering a different brand that wont be delivered until 7/13/20. Horrible experience with this refrigerator. Purchase date: 6/10/2017 - Garbage date: 6/9/20.

Our Samsung Refrigerator was purchased from Lowes and was highly recommended by Lowes and another appliance center in the area. Our refrigerator has broken down 3 times in 4 years which is a horrible record. I have a cheap Kirkland 2nd refrigerator that I have had for almost 20 years and never had broken down one time. Expensive is not always better! Samsung sent us a repair company which then goes out of business and will not recommend and now gives us a 2nd repair company. That repair company tech only knew how to take out screws of a cover and had to be on phone being stepped through how to do diagnostics on refrigerator, only to tell me a 2nd time that power circuit board needs replaced and will be another week. The circuit board is obviously is defective and not covered under 5-year warranty by Samsung. I will not buy anymore Samsung products. Unfortunately, I fell in love with its center drawer and purchased a 4-door Samsung Refrigerator Freezer 3 and a half years ago, for $3200.00, without doing proper research. The model is RF24FSEDBSR and was manufactured in Sept of 2014. I still love the center drawer, but it is not enough to make up for the rest of the appliance. This is a prime example of a company that thinks highly of itself but doesnt care that it sells absolute junk. The number of problems and repairs for the ice maker, add up to this being the worst purchase I have ever made and that is saying something. I have put up with months and months of temporary fixes, thawing with hairdryers, mopping up pooling water on the floor of the refrigerator section and just doing without ice.Recently, I have had 3 service calls for the ice maker. The ice maker freezes solid and wont dispense ice. Then, I need to move all my refrigerated food to a cooler and my frozen food to the outside freezer; turn off the entire unit for 2 days, with both doors propped open; and put an air circulator/warmer inside, just so the repairman can pry the completely frozen icemaker out without cracking the wall of the refrigerator. On the last service call, he replaced the entire ice maker for about $550.00. My total out of pocket for repairs and service is about $850.00. I fully expect that amount to grow. Now, it sort of works, but makes very little ice, (which will not be enough with summer coming).I cannot get cubed ice, just crushed ice; there is water dripping down the front of the refrigerator and it is a constant source of aggravation. Samsung wasnt sympathetic or helpful when I talked with them, and they suggested that I should have purchased their 5-year Samsung Service Agreement for $1750.00 when I had a chance. Really? They were supposed to call me back (within 24 hours) 10 months ago, and Im still waiting. Complete waste of time, money, effort, energy and resources. Do not ever buy a Samsung refrigerator because they are expensive junk, was the advice of my repair person, who has owned an appliance repair business for many years. I could have saved myself lots of frustration, and money, if I had done my research.

Samsung induction electric range model #NE599N1PBSR - almost immediately this stove top was causing grief. Purchased in Spring 2014 before summer I had placed a call to Samsung to report the problems. I was appeased by the customer service person who declared it was my pots. I had purchased very expensive induction pots and the problem still persisted. I had induction pots as soon as I bought the appliance. I thought they might be inferior. It has continued for 2 years with no solution. Samsung has no record of my problem. Over a month ago Samsungs repair person came to investigate - has been 6 weeks, no callback, I have placed 3 subsequent calls, no callback. I spoke with Samsung today... they have no record, and cant do a thing, they will NOT honor warranty even tho the first complaint was lodged before the expiry of the warranty - once again they have no record of that call. I check the manual again to make sure I did everything I was supposed to do. Once again I waiting and no Ice. After giving it a week and having the Ice maker not making any Ice, I contact Samsung. The lady at the phone ask me for the model number, my phone, and located the account then she proceed to asked me what was the issue. I explained it to her that the Ice maker was not working that I try everything in the manual but it did not work. I also explain that I follow the instructions to removed the Ice bucket, however the bucket wasnt coming out, at all. She ask me some questions about if the Ice light was lit up on the door and if said off the Ice maker wasnt going to make ice. No kidding Sherlock. Im not a moron. I calmly explain to her that after a week of not having Ice I turn it off. No sense on having the feature on if is not working. She then advised me that if it was something they cant fix by phone but they needed to send a repair person then I was going to get charge for the visit. But if the repair person was needed then the visit was free of charge. I was told that a service representative was going to called me within 2 business days. She proceed to gave me the service number reference that I needed to gave the tech (**). As she told me I received a call from the service tech to schedule the appointment. However the service tech was from Oklahoma and Im in Pennsylvania. The tech was sorry for the misunderstanding, it wasnt his fault. I contacted Samsung again and I explain to the male representative the issue with the address and I gave him my reference number. The gentlemen proceed to tell me that my refrigerator didnt have warranty. Wait what happens in 3 days? I explained that it when I spoke with the lady that gave me the reference number my refrigerator had warranty. Well Im not one to argue with customer service representative since they are provided a script on what to said. I told him Just give me the tech number please. He did gave me a service representative from Reading PA. I called them to schedule an appointment and when I gave the lady who answer the phone the reference number. She proceed to tell me I needed to provide for them the receipt of purchased, that the visit was going to be $70 plus labor and parts. I again, didnt want to argue another customer service representative. I make the schedule, however after thinking about it I cancel it. Who knows what they are going to charge me. What happen to the warranty? This refrigerator is Top Samsung Product with a cost of almost 4,000 dollars. If Im going to paid Im choosing who I let in my house. I have Samsung products all over my house since I believed to stick with one company, washer, dryer, phone, microwave on and on and on. I have never contacted Samsung for service. The first time that I need service They give me a hard time, thats not good customer service. Since Im selling my house and moving out of state soon, instead of paying a repair person I will sell ALL my Samsung electronic and start new with another company. Before you spend that much money on a Samsung product make sure they are not going to give you the runaround.

Bought A Samsung Refrigerator 4-1/2 years ago. Bacteria, smell, banging noise, temperature went to 64 degrees. I called Samsung. Warranty only covers compressor and seals. Cost would be $500. I urge consumers not to buy Samsung appliances. I have a wash machine that was recalled and my Microwave and oven are also in bad shape and they are also under 5 years old. Currently Buying a GE fridge! NEVER AGAIN SAMSUNG APPLIANCES!! Look at ratings before you purchase!!!

We have had a Samsung refrigerator with French doors and all the bells and whistles for 4 years. During that time we have had 3 major issues, first with a lead into the bottom of the refrigerator and now the ice compartment freezes up and has to be unfrozen with a hair dryers, AND, worse, the fan motor freezes up and the refrigerator makes a horrible unbearably sound until I thaw out the ice in the back of the refrigerator again with a hair dryer. Only then does it decide whether or not the refrigerator part will keep cooling--usually it takes a few hours. We have had it with Samsung. Each time we called Samsung and it took a week for them even to call back, and then to tell us they didnt have a service person in our area. We are getting rid of this refrigerator. We had it for four years at our second home, so that we only used it 6 months each year. We did not get the extended warranty because we were warned by locals that we would have to wait weeks for service by Samsung even with a warranty. Looks like they were right. If you look online, youll see many consumers have had the same problems.

Our Samsung electric range has been a good product so far, we have had it in use for about 6 months. The range cooktop heats quickly and evenly. It responds to control changes rapidly. It is very easy to clean if you follow Samsungs directions. We think the oven takes a little long to reach temp when starting it, but baked well once it does.

I am very disappointed in our new Samsung kitchen appliances. We bought a new refrigerator, dishwasher, and stove a year and a half ago. The refrigerator ice maker did not work; fortunately, I purchased the service contract through Best Buy and they covered the repair. Now the dishwasher is no longer drying the dishes. The year warranty is over, and I didnt buy the service contract for it as I expected it to work for at least a few years; now I am having to pay over $300 to repair the dryer fan assembly. I dont use the stove much but imagine that will break now that the year warranty is up. I wont purchase Samsung anymore and wont recommend them.

We purchased this Samsung Stainless Steel Model DW80F800UWS from Best Buy as a package deal along with a fridge, oven and washer/dryer. This dishwasher has been the only problem and has been defective in the first two months after our purchase. We had a drainage error code problem which a local company contracted with Samsung came out and replaced the part. After 6 months, they had to come out again and replace test another part. These both were under warranty. A third time the same sensor had gone out and they said it wasnt under warranty and that we would have to pay $350 to fix. This was almost half the price of the product. We could not afford to fix the problem and after leaving it sit for 6 months and hand washing dishes I decided to test it to see if it would work and it has ran 5 full cycles. My only guess is that the sensor has to dry out. So after every time I wash I leave the door open to air dry the unit and wait almost 24 hours before loading it up and running it. This is a pain and I know that my working unit will soon give me that dreaded error code again and Im back to hand washing dishes. Samsung definitely should have a class action lawsuit against them for knowingly having installed faulty sensors that give out immediately and making owners annoyed but happy at a free immediate repair on them until warranty expires and then we have to spend hundreds on a part that probably cost them a few bucks to make. Id also like to include that his unit has never successfully cleaned dishes. There have always been food residue along with wet dishes after the cycle has completed. I actually had a repairmen tell me that with this unit I needed to wash the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. Also, they told me to not use tabs but to use powder so I could add twice the amount of dishwasher cleaner needed to break down food particles. I also need to run the kitchen faucet awhile before starting to get the water hot it would wash better. I, like an idiot did all of these things. Maybe if I stand on one leg and twirl around it might make it work also.

They scheduled their contractor -- Buy Brite Appliances. The service tech came and didnt do anything, and charged us $115 for the service trip, and told us that we need to pay $287 for the other parts on the microwave which need to be replaced to prevent the Magtron overheating again, and Samsung told us that only Magtron is under warranty. I am sitting here one week after having our new Samsung dishwasher delivered and unable to install it because of a couple of brackets and screws that were not shipped with the unit. Upon delivery, the delivery company opened the box and we inspected for damage...none. That was great. We set it aside for installation later in the week, (after a new kitchen floor was to be installed.) When I proceeded to install today discovered that the included parts other than the kick plate were nowhere to be seen. Contacted Samsung... They directed me to the Samsung/Home Depot centre. Their answer “Sorry, not reported within 24 - 48 hours.” Are you kidding me? For the lack of a few parts costing less than $5 they would rather have me return it to Home Depot! Home Depot is now trying to work with them. I simply cannot believe the bureaucratic nonsense and lack of common sense.

This series DW80F600 dishwasher showed signs of high temperature heating errors when it was only 10 months old. We called support and were told that it would cost a certain amount ($273.43 to be exact) to have someone come and look at the machine. Just look at it, not fix it! WE went ahead and had them look at the problem and of course, the part needed wasnt under any sort of warranty. Now just over a year old and we are are stuck with a $498.75 bill for a machine that still doesnt work. The error lights came back on the very next day! We could have purchased a brand new dishwasher for much less and gotten much better results. I am warning all who think purchasing this machine, to rethink that plan!! We purchased our fridge Jan 2014 and at first happy with it. Year and a half later the noise started. I could see through the small holes on the inside back, it was frozen over. Ice was coming through the small holes. The noise was awful. Then it quit cooling and the top ice maker quit. Repairman said it had frozen up and the fan that blows the cold air out into the fridge had gone out. The ice maker had quit because it also was frozen over. He took the ice maker drawer out and it was a solid sheet of ice. He thawed it out and it began working again. Not sure for how long. He told me this was a bad problem and it wasnt worth replacing if it didnt start back working after being thawed. Fortunately it did begin making ice again. I guess in the future I will just thaw the ice maker out when it quits again. He ordered another fan, and as a note it was on back order and it took them from Oct to Jan for the part to come in. Now a month later the noise has started again. So I will be calling a repairman again. Not sure what he will say this time. I would not recommend anyone buying a Samsung refrigerator. My brother had bought this same fridge around the same time I did, and it has done the same thing with them. Terrible noise and replacing the fan. His ice maker has gone out 3 times and they have replaced it each time. Why would they continue making this piece of junk? I cant believe I paid 2000 for such this crap. I chose to upgrade my kitchen, new cabinets, flooring, ceiling, walls and appliances. Now, my old refrigerator was about 10 years old and I never had one issue with it, I just wanted everything to be stainless steel. I happened to go with the Samsung French door refrigerator because I liked the way it looked and that it was big enough to store a lot of food in the refrigerator, as well as the freezer. If I would have known that I would have half the issues I have with it, I would have never of purchased it. Why would I want to buy it if every other month, it has to be defrosted so much so that I have to store my food at someone elses house because the whole refrigerator/freezer/icemaker shuts down and takes 24 hours to get back to the right temperature. I have been a homeowner for over 18 years and I have never been more disappointed in an appliance as I am with this refrigerator. I paid over 2,000.00 for it and I am so ready to put it out as junk!!!!

SAMSUNG BUYER BEWARE - Do not buy a Samsung refrigerator!! We have had nothing but trouble since we bought ours (model #RF263BEAESR) a few years ago. Usually people that right good reviews have only had their refrigerator for a month or two. Ours worked well for the first year and then the trouble began. The icemaker broke first (it costs four to five hundred dollars to replace it) and then the defrost sensor broke (two hundred and fifty dollars to replace it). Now they say maybe its the fan - its never ending. Its a very pretty refrigerator but thats about it. There is a class action lawsuit on the ice maker and the fan and defrost sensor will soon follow. We have had Samsung certified repairmen out six times and one of the repairmen said that there is a design flaw on the refrigerator and that we should expect to keep having someone out to put a band aide on the problem.Samsung knows there is a design problem and they will do nothing to fix it. When we call Samsung they go through their written script and are worthless. We have escalated the matter and they always tell us that they will review our claims and get back to us in three to five days. They never call back. When we call them back they conveniently disconnect our call or they tell us that they cant hear us and they hang up. The Samsung call center is in the Dominican Republic. I felt I had to warn others before they made the same mistake we did in buying this horrible refrigerator. Do not buy a Samsung refrigerator, you will regret it if you do!

I bought this French door Samsung refrigerator cause the one that came with the house I bought had died. After looking at both Home Depot, H. H. Gregg, Lowe’s and Best Buy - I settled on this model RF268ABWP at Lowe’s in white. A little background - I went to culinary institute of America at Greystone and have been a professional chef for over 30 years - I know my way around a kitchen and appliances. This Samsung is the worst - there’s just not hardly any storage room in freezer and it continually ices up to the point the drawer/door is open and water/ ice melts on to the kitchen floor. The door at several places has started to rust, underneath the coolselect crisper drawer in the main body of fridge also continually ices up and the drawer starts to be pushed out. Have to thaw ice jam and remove ice sheet and then dry out fridge bottom and freezer drawer bottom. Complete pain in the **. Called Lowe’s customer service and nothing, also called Samsung and nothing no help. After reading and digging around on internet found that it’s a design flaw and company knew about it but refuses to fix. If I could fit on my boat it would be at the bottom of some lake. Complete junk and a waste of over 1400 bucks - my advice to anyone buying a new or used fridge - stay away from Samsung.

In Jan 2014, a friend purchased a Samsung Dishwasher. A month later, it started to leak water onto the hardwood floor. Multiple service calls included a trip EACH to 1) verify the unit was actually leaking, 2) order a replacement control unit (supposedly had a software update for the vent actuation, which DID NOT fix the problem), 3) verify the leak was still there, 4) verify the leak was still there, 5) replace the unit with a new one (which started leaking the first cycle), 5) verify the leak, 6) verify the leak, 7) Verify the leak, and that time the Samsung Service Tech recommended we request a refund. We did so, and was told that we would be contacted in 3-5 business days with their solution. On the 5th day, not having heard a peep, we called Samsung to learn from an extremely rude customer service representative that Samsung wanted to attempt repairs until it was fixed. We asked to speak to this persons supervisor AND WERE TOLD WE COULD NOT. PERIOD. So we contacted Best Buy, who was involved in the replacement procedure from a month ago, and after less than 10 minutes, had our refund. 2 lessons on this: 1) Never again ANYTHING with the name SAMSUNG it - phone, TV, Microwave, garbage bag... 2) BEST BUY for any major purchase such as this due to the outstanding customer service.

We bought a Samsung Stove Top/Oven last September. On July 31st, a regulator malfunctioned which prevents the gas from turning off. We immediately called Samsung, which (after several phone calls) said that they would give a full refund (instead of paying for the repair). That was their choice, not ours. After two days with no response from Samsung customer service, I called back and (after 40 minutes of hold time... which has been a pretty standard amount of time to wait) I was told my picture of the receipt didnt capture the whole receipt and was asked if I could take it again. I did, sent it into the same email I sent the first and heard nothing for 2 days. I called and (after 40 minutes of hold time) they told me they didnt get it. I resent it and then it was verbally confirmed that they received it and it was adequate. We heard nothing for a day or two and I called back and (after 40 minutes of hold time) they told me it was in process. I explained that we were without an oven and they assured me they understood. Ive called back every 2 or 3 days for a month... always given the same promise that today, someone will call me/email me/contact me which hasnt happened. In one month of dealing with their customer service I have only received one phone call or email from Samsung. Every contact was initiated by me and every email has gone unanswered--even when I request and demand an answer. on August 17th I was told that my refund request was rejected because my receipt was not a valid bill of sale because it didnt have all of the required information (that is, the model number and name of the stove). This was the only receipt I was given, so I called the local store. They sent me some screen shots of all the information they had, which I forwarded to the emails provided to me by Samsung. In the 12 days since, I still have not heard anything from Samsung. They have not called back (as they said they would), they have not answered an email (which they said they will). If I call, I cannot speak to the same person I spoke to the day before, but must listen as this new person assures me they are on my side and want me to get my refund and assure me they will call me back (which NEVER HAPPENS). When I ask to speak to a supervisor (or executive customer service) I wait for 40 minutes and still get zero help. What a COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT the oven has been and what a complete and total mess their customer service has been.

To date, we have had to change out the mother board (Samsung paid for the 2nd mother board--yeah!), the fan assembly, two broken door shelves, and we have gone through four ice makers, three @ $275.00 a pop. And YES! You heard that right: We have had to replace the ice maker on three different occasions; the first-of-four came with the product intact. (Yeha right?) Although we initially selected this Samsung because of its features, unless Samsung offers us a huge rebate for the $725.00 we have spent to repeatedly repair this refrigerators faulty ice maker, not to mention the costs associated with the other things, we will NOT ever, EVER buy another Samsung refrigerator. Not to worry: We are NOT holding our breaths, while contemplating that Samsung will come through for us. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Bought a Samsung oven range at Lowes with a rating of 5 stars and had it delivered (I thought it was an extremely great deal at 100 or so dollars below cost). Do not know who is doing the rating? After delivery I followed the directions precisely as my old stove was extremely old and conventional. I turned on the oven as directed and immediately noticed the continual clicking. Like I stated, my old stove was way outdated and thought maybe this was some sort of break in issue. Then the smell was horrible (HORRIBLE). I then opened every window and door and turned on the central air (it was off due to the weather being about 70 or so degrees outside) and put my dogs outside. I did this for hours, about 5 approximately. I then did not feel comfortable cooking with it but went ahead anyways. I put in a pan of buffalo wings. After the cook time I pulled them out and had no intention of eating them due to the ongoing smell, but found them burnt on top and undercooked underneath. I then decided to make a rice dish and turned the left burner on. It got extremely hot and within a minute. I was impressed honestly until I then turned the burner down to 2 to simmer. It stayed extremely hot!!! Glowing red! I then shut the burner off but the surface heat light stayed on and heat was still radiating for at least a half hour after. At this point I was scared of the stove!!! It was no longer clicking but was very hot and lights were still on although all burners had been off for at least 30 minutes. I decided to open the oven door and brought in a box fan and pointed it towards the open door and turned my Air Conditioning down to 68 degrees. I did not even dare to pull the stove out and unplug it as it was still so hot!!! Oven and stove were radiating, and heat surface lights were on although all units were turned off. After an hour or two (left the room) I came back to find the lights off and it still very warm but off. I then called Samsung and never got through! Called Lowes but it was after hours and no results. Now, I then had a family emergency and death in the family. I then tried cooking on the range Friday (got the range on Sunday remember). Long story short I got the same results and saw the 17 pages of Consumer Affairs issues, so I decided to document my issues and take still photos and video. After all this Lowes (my local store) did not hesitate to offer me a replacement stove. I had no problem with that and it was very fair although they would not pull the range from the floor and I demanded they do so! I insisted it was an extreme fire hazard and they did not disagree but did not comply either, so I called corporate. They did not agree either so I told them I would be filing a grievance and possible suit as well as calling the local investigative reporter. It is now a day later and have not been to the store. Again, tired from all this and my family emergency and death. I can only hope these ranges are no longer being sold. I also took still photos and video of the range burning for at least 40 minutes and heat warning lights on without any stove or oven turned on. YES I REPEAT.... THE RANGE WAS BURNING FULLY HOT WITHOUT ANY FEATURE TURNED ON!!! THAT WAS FOR OVER 40 MINUTES! PHOTOS AND VIDEO OF MY RANGE FULLY BURNING WHILE TURNED OFF. DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG RANGE!!!

All of my appliances are stainless-steel and the only one that is rusting is my dishwasher Samsung serial # a3jag9mc00186-1v model # dmt 400rhs. When I called the company to complain about the rust on the door of the dishwasher, I was told that it was cosmetic and not covered by the warranty, which I knew had expired. I was further told that it [the rust] was due to environmental elements. None of my other appliances, which, by the way are not Samsung, did not rust! This is a defective product that should be addressed at Samsung. I will never buy another Samsung product again! Transaction # when I spoke with executive customer services: ** .

We purchased a new Samsung dishwasher during a renovation 1 year ago. The only thing worse than our new dishwashers performance has been the absolute mountain of frustration attempting to get a repair person to come. After months of frustration, we are giving up and buying a new dishwasher. Never, ever again Samsung. We are passionate about sharing our experience with friends and family shopping for appliances.

French door refrigerator once along with the washing machine that doesn’t drain properly, and as a consequence, smells bad and has to constantly be drained from the bottom making a terrible mess because of the way the drainage is set up. Right now my dishwasher is again having a problem and keeps turning itself off. I can find no leak. I will have to spend another $150 for repair to come out again. I will NEVER buy another Samsung appliance. They should stick to smartphones. In 53 years of marriage, never had a problem with a KitchenAid or Bosch... Should have stuck with what I know.

Despite having a college education, they couldn’t believe the refrigerator wasn’t just in ‘demo’ mode (which it was not). Finally convinced Samsung to send service call. Upon arrival, the service man immediately determined the unit was manufactured without adding the Freon! Can you imagine! Samsung should be embarrassed and just quit while they are ahead. Buy LG.

We bought Samsung, French Door Refrigerator (Model No. 220NCTASE/AA) in January, 2014 from local Leons. Its working fine, but two days we noticed the fridge is not cool as usual and I adjusted the temperature to make cooler, same as for the freezer. And it seemed nothing happens after 24 hours. Then I tried unplugged and re-plugged the power, and waited another 24 hours, I still cant feel any cold air from the fridge and freezer. I am for sure its stopped work just after two years.I then called Samsung support 1-800 phone number and got answered with 10 minutes, unexpected really short wait time. The girl said that she needs to transfer to technical support number. Well after 30 minutes of waiting I got hung up. I re-called the 1-800 phone number again, it happens the same. I tried to re-called the 1-800 from my cell phone and got the same hung up. This is really frustrated getting technical support from Samsung. How could be a big company like Samsung with BAD customer services? The bad thing is that we recently bought a Samsung washer. Well, from now on we will stay away from Samsung brand.

I purchased my Samsung SM 26CF 4D refrigerator in July of 2014 for almost $1000. Now neither the refrigerator nor the freezer are working. In addition, it is kept at a residence I rent out but only had my first renter of the season in May. When he got there the entire contents were rotten and even after a cleaning, the interior smells horrible. I have called Samsung 3 different times only to be told each time someone will respond per their policy within 48 hours. That was 3 weeks ago. They also said they would escalate it to their executive team and they would call back within 48 hours. This means nothing as I last heard from them 6 days ago when I called them. To get me off track the rep said I needed my receipt, which I have had since the first time I called. He then said These things take time. Their customer services is horrible and they look for reasons not to fulfill their responsibilities. Please do not buy a Samsung appliance from them.

I purchased a Sumsung dishwasher new and approx. 18 months later, it stopped working. The replacement parts and repair totaled only $115.00 less than I paid for the product new. The repairman said Samsung was NOT dependable, but they often stood behind their products and would pay for parts and/or repair especially since this machine was relatively new. I also heard that if I paid to have this repaired, that Id probably have to call repair in next few years again. Samsung refused to help pay for even the parts, so Im chucking it and buying a Bosch. I dont need bells and whistles, I just need a dishwasher that works.

Samsung RF217 - I purchased this model (32) after installing a 36 Samsung in my mothers house. I was impressed with the larger model and expected similar results. My initial displeasure with this model was only two door shelves are full depth, so youre limited to 2 shelves that measure about 6x 10 for tall items. The interior shelves have little flexibility and only allow for a maximum height of 9.5, so a lot of my tall items have to lie down (and hopefully dont leak). But my main complaint is one month after the warranty expired (there is 5 years on the refrigeration system), I began noticing water in the produce drawers, a lot. I emptied and cleaned the drawers till today, finally Id had enough and spent 2 hours melting the ice that blocked the drain tube. Lowes would not cover the cost of a service call since it was out of warranty and Samsung will not admit they have a design flaw. If you research this problem you will find it is a common occurrence, so I cannot recommend this refrigerator or brand until they remedy my problem.

Since day one we have had leaking issues, logged several calls to the Samsung services department, most of the time they would tell us how to get the LC to stop but not fix the issue. Now that the Warranty has expired (1year Warranty) they send out a Tech and want $350 to fix a known leaking issue. They even have a special kit just for this issue. WHAT you put out a defective product on the market and don’t take care of your customer that bought it. Well just like the phone and batteries issues I guess.

In November of 2015 we purchased a Samsung refrigerator French door BLK SS unit model number RF263BEAESG. In June of 2017 we started having trouble with the ice maker not working, and frosting up. On June 30th 2017 I contacted Samsung and they put a online service request ticket in for me. They told me I would be notified within 3 business days of when someone could come and repair the refrigerator. On July 10th I received another email from Samsung support and it said that my ticket had been cancelled the email read as follows your repair for service ticket has been cancelled. If you need service please contact us and it gave the phone number 1 800 Samsung. Thank you for your cooperation. Since then I tried to find someone in the local area that could come out and look at and or repair the unit. After several phone calls I was able to find someone that works on Samsung appliances. On July 18th a service tech came to my house and told me I had three issues the ice maker was going bad the fan in the freezer was going bad and at this point it was making a horrendous noise and then the fan in the refrigerator in the back that whole unit needed to be replaced. The total cost for these repairs are going to be about $800. At this point I have a really tough decision to make do I dump an additional $800 into this refrigerator and hope that it lasts, or do I bite the bullet and buy another refrigerator from a different manufacturer. I have responded to the emails from Samsung support I have gotten no further response from them. I do intend to let them know what is wrong with the refrigerator and what it is going to cost to repair it. While I understand it is out of warranty, it is not even 2 years old yet and should not be having these major issues.I will never buy another Samsung Appliance and I would never recommend to anyone that I know to buy one whether they are family friend or Foe. This has been such a disappointing experience for me. I can only hope that some attorney somewhere reads all of these complaints and puts together a class action lawsuit against Samsung. Someone needs to hold them accountable for making a product of such poor quality. People buy for the Samsung name because their Electronics have always been number one in the market. Their total lack of customer support has me wondering if I should even keep my Samsung smartphone. I find it hard to support a company that will not support its customers.

Our dishwasher will be one year old on November 3, repair people have been out three times. On the first visit we explained the washer was leaking. He said it was a known issue and the computer was spraying water when it should not. They ordered parts and more than 2 weeks later came back and put in new seals around the door, new computer, and other items inside the door. Our washer is still leaking, smells, and leaves water on the dishes. Another service person came out and said he thought the pump was putting dirty water back in the dishwasher and that a seal around the door was too short. We are in progress with that issue. We ask Samsung to replace the dishwasher but they said they only had records of one service call and I needed to get Lowes to send them records. I did so and two weeks later I called again and Samsung said they did not have they records. I ask to speak to a supervisor, they left me on hold and then came back after some time and said she was busy and to call Lowes again and have the records sent to a supervisor email and a general fax number. Lowes did so. I called again this afternoon. They said they dont have them, have never heard of that email or a person by that name. It was explained to me that if they repair it and it works up to 30 days it will be out of warranty with the repair people and with Samsung too since my regular warranty will be out Nov 3, 2014.We really should have done some reading before we bought this dishwasher. We have called the repair people and Samsung. We are removing this dishwasher and buying a new one but not a Samsung. We are tired of bad smell, stinky dishes, and water on my wood floors. We told the rep we had problems from the beginning, and for the last several months we have not been able to use the dishwasher. Transferred to multiple reps!!! We are told you can purchase an extended warranty. The first repair company was fired by Samsung, new service company came out 2 times to repair the motor water leak. They came out the 2nd time. Advised they did not seal the motor inside & under the motor. We were told to allow 24 hours for the silicone to dry. We gave it 3 days with the dishwasher door open. Hoping the issue was resolved we ran a load. After 40+ minutes we got the LC* warning light. This indicated water to electric leak, its recommended to shut off circuit to the unit to prevent further damage or fire. Today is Sunday 8-1-16, I will contact Samsung on Monday and the service repair company. I do not expect a resolution. I expect to be told you are out of warranty, purchase an extended warranty or we are unacceptable to help you! BUYERS BEWARE.

Samsung Refrigerator, bottom Freezer, refrigerator defrost stopped working, refrigerator completely frosted and refrigerator no longer worked. I defrosted, retried and within 2 weeks same again. I called a local so-called service person, Greg ** and he came and checked it. It had totally frosted over again. He defrosted and said he had to order the part. What he ordered was probably the most expensive part, the computer module. He returned and installed the new module at a cost of $423.73. 2 weeks later, same thing all over. He returned, rechecked and said it appeared to be functioning and there was nothing further he could do with it. At that time I went online and looked up the problem which was also a problem for others. Since it was the defrost that was not working I guessed that it must be the defrost coil or the temperature sensor. I contacted Samsung and ordered an Evaporator Assy, Refrig SMG for $123.28 and a Sensor, Temp F PX-41C TD at a price of $13.82 (all plus taxes and shipping). I did not know in advance that the Evaporator Assy included a temp sensor. I replaced both the Evaporator Assy and the Temp sensor in Aug 2014 and the refrigerator has been working fine ever since. Had I known in advance I would have only purchased the temp sensor first at a cost of $13.82, that may have solved the problem. My biggest complaint is that Greg **, so called service person, chose to replace the most expensive item first, especially since he admitted it was only trial and error and that he could not know exactly what the problem was. He charged $423.73 for something that he did not fix and I later had to fix it myself. I am not a service person and I was able to get the refrigerator working!
