On May 12, 2016 my Samsung side-by-side refrigerator (model RSG257AAWP) that I purchased on April 14, 2012 stopped cooling. It has been an absolute nightmare trying to work with Samsung to have someone come out to diagnose the problem. It is now May 23, 2016 and I am still calling Samsung trying to find resolution. I was assigned to a repair service (Home Service Network) on May 14th. On May 16th they informed me that they dont have any technicians that could work on my refrigerator. I called Samsung back and my ticket was reassigned to another repair service (Priceless Appliance Services). I was told that companies are to respond in 1-2 business days. I waited. Nothing! I called Samsung again. My ticket was reassigned again (Mr. Appliance of Central Maryland) and again I did not receive a call from this service repair company. When I called Samsung once more, today May 23rd, my ticket is showing that its assigned to Priceless and not even the last company that I was given so it appears that my ticket was not even reassigned. Now Im starting to think that the Samsung warranty policy is a sham. If they refer a customers ticket to enough non-responsive repair companies, at some point, especially with such an essential appliance as a refrigerator, the customer will become totally frustrated and seek to resolve the issue with a non Samsung repair service. This deems your appliance out of warranty even if you only have someone diagnose but not fix the product that you have so desperately tried to seek help for from Samsung. BE AWARE! BE CAUTIOUS! Its probably best to NEVER, EVER purchase Samsung appliances. In the future, I will only purchase appliances made in the USA.

Doesnt even deserve ONE star!!! GARBAGE!!! I dont know how Samsung has not had a class action case filed against them after reading HUNDREDS of complaints about their dishwashers. Every reviewer has the same complaint about various models, UNBEARABLE, DISGUSTING ODOR!!... And SAMSUNG customer service does nothing!!! Oh, wait, they do offer suggestions on how to CLEAN their dishwashers with TANG!!! Yes, *** clean the disgusting odor in the brand new dishwasher with an orange flavored drink mix!!! *** WHAT??? The odor is unbearable and dishes are cleaner when I put them in the dishwasher than they are when I take them out!!! Shame on Samsung for this disgraceful product and lack of concern for their trusting consumers. They should have stuck to making televisions!!! NEVER make the mistake of purchasing a Samsung dishwasher.

This a wonderful Refrigerator. Lots of room and very strong door shelves. One holds a gallon of Milk and a gallon of Pickles at all times. There is truly an abundance of LED lighting. I also enjoy the power cool and freeze features. The only thing that is the slightest of issues is its very hard close the freezer door quietly in the middle of the night. There is a pretty loud click when it locks shuts. My wife says Im nitpicking. I probably am.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM SAMSUNG!!!! Sears is an issue too. They did nothing to help!!!!!! I will not shop for any appliances at Sears. Buy local.

I bought this dishwasher (Samsung DMT800RHS), though my second choice, a little over a year ago. I agree with the other comments I have read in terms of cleaning and the weird smell the dishwasher always has when you open the door. The icing on the cake is that this morning, the main wash pump has failed and I am just out of warranty. Im a single guy and only run the machine every three days or so. Really? This is completely unacceptable and there was no sympathy on the phone with Samsung customer support. Long and short of the story, dont waste $800 on this poorly designed, stinky piece of garbage. Time to switch back to Bosch!

Samsung refrigerator RF217ACBPXAA - I purchased a Samsung refrigerator less than 2 years ago. Water accumulated in the vegetable and fruit bins. A repairman came and fixed the problem. One month later, it happened again. A repairman came and fixed it, but said he couldnt say that it wouldnt happen again. Freezing occurs and clogs the water from making ice, therefore backing up and coming into the bins. Less than 2 weeks later, it happened again. Samsung says that the repairman has to state that it cannot be repaired for them to take another course of action. I searched online and found this to be a problem with many. I am considering a class action suit. Please advise.

Buyer beware!!! After owning this French door refrigerator for a little over a year, there started to be water buildup under pantry drawer. The water would then freeze and would prevent the drawer from opening. I began the weekly game of trying to thaw the ice in order to use the pantry drawer. The ice would come out in big sheets. Big enough that while pulling a chunk out of the fridge, a piece broke off and dented my appliance. And because there was nowhere for the water to go, it started seeping out onto my hardwood floors which caused them to hoover up. After about 3 months of this NONSENSE I had it serviced. The repairman had fixed NUMEROUS Samsung French door refrigerators with this same issue. SHAME ON YOU Samsung for allowing a fridge to be engineered this way... Thought you were smarter than that. Since that service call I have had to get my ice maker serviced 2 times, dishwasher serviced 2 times and washing machine 2 times. All Samsung appliances. Buyer beware!

We purchased the Samsung RF28HDEDBSR/AA. One of the reasons we purchased this refrigerator is because of the great rating on Consumer Guide. The ice maker has a problem with water leaking into the maker and then freezing so it completely stops the making process, I had to pull out the maker & chip away at the frozen ice (think before self defrosting freezers), not a fun time. The ice maker when working dispensed the ice horribly. I had a tech here & he said they see this problem all the time and would never recommend a Samsung fridge because of the huge design flaw in the ice maker, there is no way to repair/fix the problem. He recommended LG or GE, We purchased an LG, and no problems, I have the Samsung in the garage as a 2nd fridge (no water to it). I have a friend I visited a month ago, she has the same problem! Now she is having frost in her bottom freezer, the tech told her to use a hair dryer. What a joke this refrigerator is, for the money it should work!!

I purchased model #RF25HMEDBSR in 2015. To date Ive had to have it serviced three times at a cost to me of $900. I have been waiting since July 27 for more repairs for the same issues and they cant get anyone to do my repair until Aug 27. The ice maker and cooling issues are defects that have been around since 2006. Samsungs customer service is horrible! They have been giving some refunds for their faulty refrigerators but it can take months of waiting and countless hour on the phone with them, if you can get to a human. I love the design of this unit but having to pay $900 in service fees is unacceptable. Avoid at all costs!!!

Like everyone else who has written a review, I purchased my Samsung French Door Refrigerator two years ago. I realize I am adding nothing new to all of the other complaints regarding this horrible refrigerator. I replaced my ice maker twice and it still freezes up completely. I am now experiencing the second big complaint in that if I use the water dispenser, water leaks and pools in the deli drawer. My appliance service provider explained that it is a design flaw and it simply cannot be repaired. I would never purchase anything from Samsung again.

I started having odor issues with this dishwasher (Model DW80F600) not even a month after purchasing it on 5/25/14. Ive had 6 techs out to look at it and they recommend things like changing the detergent, running the hot water, using Jet Dry, etc. to re-plumbing through the garbage disposal. Ive complied with all of their suggestions. No parts were ever replaced on the unit and the one part that the 6th tech is saying should be replaced Samsung is stating that its a customer maintenance issue and claiming that Ive never cleaned the dishwasher and damaged it. To make a really long story short - its now 5/6/15 and Im being denied service on it because its in Samsungs system that Ive damaged it and its a customer maintenance issue. Never mind the fact that its been an ongoing issue for nearly a year.Ive provided Samsung with the bill of sale, all the receipts of service with tech notes on them, etc. The service notes that I received from Lowes were different than the physical receipts that I have. The techs are claiming to have replaced two parts on the unit & also making statements that are untrue - like Ive never cleaned it. I bought Dishwasher Magic on 12/24/14, which is in both my receipts & the notes I received from Lowes (who handled my first 5 service calls). Every time I talked to a Samsung rep its another story all with the same ending - they cant/wont help me.I received the technician notes (from Lowes) from the service requests that I starting in July 2014. I have attached those notes, along with the service receipts as well as a scanned image of the seal sump part & packing that it came in. This SHOULD be proof that either the technicians or someone at Samsung is LYING about what they have done to service our dishwasher. This is all due to a foul odor that has been going on beginning less than two months after purchase. I would like for Samsung to replace the bottom door gasket under warranty, replace the dishwasher (if its not fixable), OR at the very least authorize another service technician to come out, preferably a manager, to assess the dishwasher AGAIN under warranty. Samsung is claiming that Ive damaged my dishwasher & never cleaned it and therefore are unwilling to replace the bottom door gasket or allow for another service tech to come inspect our dishwasher. Here are the things that Id like to point out. The service appointment from Brand Source states that they put in parts. Id like to know what part they are claiming to have ordered and installed and ask how, since this is our first service, did they know to order that part and have it ready for installation? This is a complete lie - no part(s) were purchased or replaced on the dishwasher. I was told that we should re-plumb through the garbage disposal, try Jet Dry, and run it every couple days. Both of those suggestions were taken. We also ran the dishwasher empty with a cup of vinegar. Those suggestions and CLEANING from July (not 2 months into owning it) didnt work so we placed another service call. The initial tech from A&E came and decided that the tub/sump gasket needed to be replaced so he ordered the part. I have attached (Seal Sump) which is an actual scan of the packaging which was shipped 12/18/14 as well as the scanned image of the seal sump (product #DD62-00050A) still in the bag which I STILL have because it was never replaced as the tech notes are claiming to have replaced on 12/24/14 when in all actuality that tech (who was a different one than the one that ordered the part) said the gasket wasnt bad and that I should try Dishwasher Magic. I bought Dishwasher Magic and the tech put it in and ran started the dishwasher - therefore this was the second cleaning. It was recommended to us to try pod style detergent vs. liquid and to run the hot water in the sink, make sure its good-n-hot, then start the dishwasher. Both of those suggestions were taken and it still hasnt solved the issue. The last service on 4/8/14 performed by One Stop Appliance is completely off base. The tech notes (attached) stated that we need the bottom door gasket replaced and that he would get in touch with Samsung to order the part. I received a phone call from ** on 4/9/14 letting me know that Samsung wont authorize replacement of the part claiming its a customer maintenance issue. The tech notes indicate that I called Samsung and use the words food build up. How can the tech notes reflect something that hasnt even happened yet - my calling didnt occur until 4/9 - service was performed on 4/8. They also state that this is an issue due to never cleaning. Given that Ive provided at least 2 examples, one with a receipt, of times that Ive cleaned the dishwasher - this is just a false statement. In calling Samsung to try to get this issue resolved this has escalated from we have food particles in the dishwasher to we have damaged the dishwasher. The Samsung user manual states: CLEANING THE INTERIOR. Clean the interior of your dishwasher periodically to remove any dirt or food particles. Wipe the inside of the dishwasher and the inner part of the door with a wet dishcloth. We recommend filling the detergent dispenser with dish detergent, and then running the dishwasher empty periodically using either the Normal or Quick cycle with the sanitize option. This will keep your dishwasher clean. If white spots and odor are still present in your dishwasher, run the Normal cycle with the dishwasher empty and without detergent until it ushes. Then, interrupt the cycle and put an 8 ounce cup of white vinegar into the lower basket. Close the dishwasher and let the cycle finish. Do not remove the tub front seal (the long rubber seal enclosing the opening of the dishwasher).I HAVE performed periodic cleanings of the dishwasher and it still has a foul odor. I also rinse ALL my dishes before putting them in the dishwasher, and I wipe down excess water that gets on the door before closing it. This odor can begin within 24 hours of running a cleaning cycle. How is that a customer maintenance issue? Also, some of the phone reps have told me that notes indicate that there are food particles left in the dishwasher. If this is true then why? Shouldnt the dishwasher be rinsing, cleaning, and drying the dishes and therefore the tub? A particle is: From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: A particle is a minute fragment or quantity of matter. [1] In the physical sciences, the word is used to describe a small localized object to which can be ascribed several physical or chemical properties such as volume or mass; subatomic particles such as protons or neutrons; and other elementary particles. [2] The word is rather general in meaning, and is refined as needed by various scientific fields. Something that is composed of particles may be referred to as being particulate. [3] However, the term particulate is most frequently used to refer to pollutants in the Earths atmosphere, which are a suspension of unconnected particles, rather than a connected particle aggregation.IF I have food particles in the dishwasher how is a minute fragment causing such an odor that I have been calling for service on the dishwasher since 7/18/14? In addition if this were a customer maintenance issue then why has it been an issue since a month after the purchase date? And in performing all the technician suggestions it still hasnt resolved the issue? I have filed with the BBB and here is their second response after I contested their first response. Still clearly not paying attention to the facts and still not willing to help. Heres Samsungs official response: Ms. **, Thank you for providing the additional information regarding your claim. Samsungs product team has evaluated all new and existing documentation available on your claim. The warranty coverage remains unchanged. Although Samsung cannot pinpoint the cause, a few examples for the odor are: infrequent cleanings, excessive food residue, the drain hose is connect to the garbage disposer, from which food can get backup into the drain hose. What would not be contributing to the odor is mechanical or part failure and the Limited Warranty only covers product malfunction or defect. There is no such evidence.I understand there were was added concerns about the part that was order but not installed. This was noted but this part nor changing it would address the symptom. With our apologizes, warranty will not be covering the cost of any further repair requests to address the odor symptom. Thank you.

If you find beating ice off the inside of your ice maker enjoyable, this is the fridge for you. At least once every two weeks youll find yourself with a butter knife chipping the ice away. And, dont quit until youve bloodied at least 2 knuckles. I mean who doesnt like a little blood in their ice? But wait, theres more! The water dispenser leaks constantly so you get a nice build up of water mineral in the catch basin. It really adds color to your fridge. I would go ice my knuckles now, but we dont have any ice... :(

I bought My dishwasher last April but I received it in June. It was working good for few months till 1st week of Jan 2022. It showed code PC and stopped working. I called Samsung because I was still in company guarantee. The Tech came 3 weeks later. Its been more than 3 months. They send the Tech to my house to change one part each time. I send them letter and call them, They never call you. I was told they can just repair and they cant exchange or refund. I dont need to tell them I need functional dishwasher. They know but they dont care. I am working and I can accept the Tech in my house just on Saturday. I am waiting quiet every Saturday for Tech, till now they changed more than 5 parts. Do not buy their product.

When we built our new house we decided to buy Samsung products at Sears. The first Samsung Fridge that we bought quit on the first day. This should have spoken volumes to us but we were too excited. The fridge was promptly replaced. We have had nothing but trouble with the fridge. Every 3 weeks we have to remove a significant amount of water from underneath the deli tray. Our ice maker will occasionally work and we cannot up or lower temperatures as the temp controls no longer work. Our strong recommendation if you are in the market for new appliances, especially a fridge, DONT buy Samsung. Youre simply buying JUNK that will be nothing but a headache for you!

I had a 7 year old Samsung refrigerator that froze up completely in the back which stops the fan and then the refrigerator does not cool. Had it repaired 3 times in a month. Problem kept happening and I pretty much didn’t have a working refrigerator for 5 weeks. Finally the repairman told me the whole cooling system had to be replaced. The cost would be at least 1200.00. I wasn’t going to put that much money into a refrigerator that was over 7 years old. I thought this was just bad luck and went out and bought another Samsung refrigerator. 2 years later the exact same thing is happening and I’m going through the same thing with the Samsung Repairman who keeps coming in to fix it and two weeks later it happens again. Now I find out doing my research that this is a common problem for Samsung refrigerators and there are two class action lawsuits against them. Because the refrigerator is less than 5 years old the main cooling system is still under warranty, but Samsung doesn’t want to admit that that’s the problem and replace it. Customer service is not helpful at all and they really don’t care how long you have to go without a refrigerator. Besides this problem the inside of these refrigerators are made like crap. All the shelves on the doors have cracks in them and all the wheels on the drawers have snapped off. I will never buy another Samsung product again, unfortunately it was a very expensive lesson to learn.

This Samsung refrigerator was bought at Sears in winter of 2011. Model number RF266AEPN. Over the past year, we have had to defrost it twice for several days in order to let the ice melt and soak up the resulting water with towels. I clean the back lower area too but this has not been dirty. The problem starts with the back inside vents icing up and the fan begins to make noise. Eventually the temp rises. This is happening again after only 6 weeks. I have not contacted Sears or Samsung as I know it is beyond warranty but I plan to call anyway. I already know I will never buy another Samsung. I had a Kitchen Aid fridge for over 20 years with no problems. Time to go back to them or GE, I think.

At 120 days the same problem occurred so we called the Geek Squad because we purchased it at Best Buy. They came and fixed the exact same problem for another $330. Now we are again about 20 days out of the 90 day warranty and Samsung WONT DO ANYTHING!!Its ridiculous that we have to pay for the same issue to be fixed over and over again. They are supposed to have such good customer service but we are certainly not feeling it. They told me twice they would help but they would charge us AGAIN to fix the same problem for a THIRD time!! Samsung Model RF32FMQDBSR/AA. I purchased the Samsung 4 door refrigerator around 8 months ago. I follow all the instructions regarding the ice maker when I went on vacation. When I got back home again I check my owners manual and follow the instructions with the ice maker. After 24 hours there was no ice make yet. I check the manual again to make sure I did everything I was supposed to do. Once again I waiting and no Ice. After giving it a week and having the Ice maker not making any Ice, I contact Samsung. The lady at the phone ask me for the model number, my phone, and located the account then she proceed to asked me what was the issue. I explained it to her that the Ice maker was not working that I try everything in the manual but it did not work. I also explain that I follow the instructions to removed the Ice bucket, however the bucket wasnt coming out, at all. She ask me some questions about if the Ice light was lit up on the door and if said off the Ice maker wasnt going to make ice. No kidding Sherlock. Im not a moron. I calmly explain to her that after a week of not having Ice I turn it off. No sense on having the feature on if is not working. She then advised me that if it was something they cant fix by phone but they needed to send a repair person then I was going to get charge for the visit. But if the repair person was needed then the visit was free of charge. I was told that a service representative was going to called me within 2 business days. She proceed to gave me the service number reference that I needed to gave the tech (**). As she told me I received a call from the service tech to schedule the appointment. However the service tech was from Oklahoma and Im in Pennsylvania. The tech was sorry for the misunderstanding, it wasnt his fault. I contacted Samsung again and I explain to the male representative the issue with the address and I gave him my reference number. The gentlemen proceed to tell me that my refrigerator didnt have warranty. Wait what happens in 3 days? I explained that it when I spoke with the lady that gave me the reference number my refrigerator had warranty. Well Im not one to argue with customer service representative since they are provided a script on what to said. I told him Just give me the tech number please. He did gave me a service representative from Reading PA. I called them to schedule an appointment and when I gave the lady who answer the phone the reference number. She proceed to tell me I needed to provide for them the receipt of purchased, that the visit was going to be $70 plus labor and parts. I again, didnt want to argue another customer service representative. I make the schedule, however after thinking about it I cancel it. Who knows what they are going to charge me. What happen to the warranty? This refrigerator is Top Samsung Product with a cost of almost 4,000 dollars. If Im going to paid Im choosing who I let in my house. I have Samsung products all over my house since I believed to stick with one company, washer, dryer, phone, microwave on and on and on. I have never contacted Samsung for service. The first time that I need service They give me a hard time, thats not good customer service. Since Im selling my house and moving out of state soon, instead of paying a repair person I will sell ALL my Samsung electronic and start new with another company. Before you spend that much money on a Samsung product make sure they are not going to give you the runaround.

We bought our Samsung French door Refrigerator/freezer 3 years ago. After the warranty expired we noticed the ice maker stopped working. Pulled the bucket out to find large ice over on the ice maker itself. Since then, every 2 weeks we have to manually defrost our ice maker. About a month ago it started leaking water out of the water/ice dispenser. Now we have to wipe the floor and collection tray numerous times a day. This also includes inside under the crisper bins where water collects. I have contacted Samsung on more than 1 occasion. 0/10, would not recommend to anyone for either product or customer service.

What can you say about this tv that hasn't already been said in the previous reviews. I had the choice between buying an additional boxcar on my private train and this tv and made the right decision! I'll probably buy the boxcar next week, or maybe a new train entirely, but I digress. The tv is truly breathtaking and after my hired help had it working, my monocle fell right off my face and would have shattered had I not been able to catch it in my top hat before it fell to the ground. If you have a few extra pounds in your trust fund, have your closest man-servant make the purchase and thank me later!

If you are considering buying Samsung Products - Save your money! We bought a Samsung Washer and Dryer in 2012 and already had to have repairs on the washer ($279 for latch on the door). The dryer is ruining our clothes because the lint trap is defective and sticks up and catches and twists the clothes until they break. Our Dishwasher that we purchased in 2014, sometimes takes 6 cycles to clean. The soap dispenser does not open or the cycle stops and all the lights start flashing. The other day the dishwasher ran for almost 6 hours while we were shopping and was making a horrible noise. I called Lowes, where we purchased and they were no help. I called Samsung and was told I needed to buy a new lint trap, and they could not help with the dryer. As for the dishwasher, I have a transaction number of ** and was told someone would call me within 24 hours to discuss what our next step was. It has been three days and no one has called. We also have a Samsung stove/oven and microwave - crossing fingers those last longer than the other appliances. Bad product and bad customer service!!!

I purchased a Samsung Model # ME18H704SFS Over the Counter Microwave April 17, 2017. I was away two months over this past winter, so the microwave was used about a year. It matched my new Samsung $1300.00 oven perfectly. One day last week, it just stopped working. We tried troubleshooting it and then called the company after that. Unfortunately, it was about 14 months since we purchased it and was no longer under warranty. After pleading the employee from Samsung for some help, they said to call a service center. I was told by two of them that they would charge me $100.00 nonrefundable for just coming (which I understand) and then parts and labor. He said if it is the motherboard or any other thing like that, it could cost $200.00 or more to repair with only a 90 day warranty. It breaks my heart but I had to throw it out. It was beautiful but did not work. I will never buy a Samsung product. We went to Consumers and found out it was rated most poorly. I now am in the process of purchasing either a Whirpool or Frigidaire since they got good ratings. We are heartsick about wasting all the money we spent over a year ago for this item. By the way, there was nothing wrong with my Kenmore over the counter microwave oven that was a Kenmore and 20 years old. It was white and we redid our kitchen in all stainless steel appliances. Fortunately, we gave it to someone who is still enjoying it. Please do yourself a favor and dont get sucked in with the Samsung company. They are unreliable appliances and really dont care about you once you buy their product.

I really enjoyed my Samsung except I do believe that part of my issue is its a side-by-side with a French door and I dont have that much room on the side by side part. The fan in the refrigerator made a horrible noise. The ice maker stopped working within 2 years. Once we turned it off there was a lot of moisture in the fridge. The back inside had chunks of ice. The temperature was about 52. We threw out food often. To get this fixed would have cost too much money. Samsung does not stand behind this. We paid over $3,000 and, after 5 years, just bought a different refrigerator. We are so happy to have safe food now. And ice!

Request for service initiated on 9/28/2015 and this is 10/9/2015 with no service scheduled. Multiple telephone calls to Samsung service and to Home Depot. Warranty expired on 10/4/2015. We purchased the Samsung 24CF counter-depth side-by-side refrigerator in December of 2013 from Pacific Sales in Chatsworth, CA. The unit cost $3149 before tax and we paid an additional $350 for an extended 5 year warranty. Within 6 months, several of the side shelves, which theyd demonstrated as being intended to hold gallons of milk, had cracked or were broken to the point they hung of the door. This was true even of the shelves we used only to hold condiments and smaller, lighter items. Within 13 months, every single door shelf was cracked or broken and the plastic surrounds on the main shelves had cracked as well. The warranty company said the shelves were not covered and Samsungs customer service department said they could not do anything as it was over 12 months since purchase. All they would do was provide me with a number to call so that I could pay for the new interior shelves myself. Given the price of this refrigerator, the quality is really inferior. We had our previous Kitchen Aid refrigerator for over 18 years and nothing inside was broken or cracked when we replaced it. DONT BUY A SAMSUNG.

After reading the articles on here I realize I am not alone in realizing my high end dishwasher is a piece of expensive junk. The only washing I got done was the washing that my bank account took. Barely had it a year and getting a non stop LE code. Pulled the unit out and there is no leak anywhere that I can find. I was silly and did not buy an extended warranty as I thought I bought a quality product, never again. I refuse to pay anyone to repair it and have it fail again. I will buy another one but I promise I will not buy anything with the name Samsung on any item. The joke on me is I replaced a working one that was noisy for this high end quiet one. Purchased a Samsung French door refrigerator in Dec of 2011 from Best Buy for our winter home in Florida for $1670 plus tax. I did not purchase the extended warranty. Big mistake. The refrigerator worked great for 35 months. Loved the external water and ice maker and the wide refrigerator access. Upon our return to Florida for the 2014 winter season the refrigerator freezer was fine (We keep it running year round). The next day the ice maker stopped working and we realized neither the refrigerator nor the freezer were cooling. Called Samsung immediately. The phone contact gave me the name of their authorized service company in my area but told me that they had no service call appointments available for 7 days. She suggested I call the service company directly when I shared that I couldnt wait 7 days as I had just purchased a freezer full of food. I called the service company directly and was told I could not get an earlier appointment. Called Samsung again and asked for another authorized repair service in my area (Boca Raton, FL). She informed me they had no one else in my area. I told her I would have to call another repair service to get quicker service. (This was Friday morning). She said she understood and wished me luck. Another appliance serviceman in my area finally came Friday afternoon. He diagnosed the problem as a bad main board which he related was common for Samsung refrigerators. He said that we should have purchased an extended warranty from Best Buy because it was going to cost $650 for the replacement part and $150 for labor. He also suggested that it would probably break again in 2 years. He shared that he sees this problem in many Samsung refrigerators. We declined service and he graciously did not charge us for the service call. I called Samsung again. She informed me that they now could do nothing for me as I had an unauthorized (by Samsung) appliance repairman open the back of the refrigerator. When questioned, she explained that an authorized Samsung repair service (who wouldnt even come until the following Friday) could have SOLD me a new warranty which might have discounted the labor charges on the $850 repair. Now Samsung could not help me at all.I ran over to Lowes and purchased a brand new Whirlpool French refrigerator for $1499 plus a 5 year warranty for $150 that covers everything (including parts and spoiled food) from Lowes. They delivered it the next day. I have learned that you have to purchase an extended warranty from the store for all major appliances now.

We bought our Samsung dishwasher thinking that all dishwashers were the same. This was just an upgraded appliance that would match our new refrigerator. Were we wrong! The LC code popped up one night after it drained out the water on our kitchen floor. No matter if I opened the door or closed it the dishwasher ran. I had to cut the power off to the dishwasher to get it to stop. Hours on the phone to Samsung only to be sent to some place for repairs that was over three hours away. Looked up reviews for this place and they were terrible. We ended up going back to Home Depot that night where we bought it from. No problem, they took it back and we purchased a KitchenAid for just $100 more. This was on a Sunday evening and we had our new dishwasher on Friday morning. Home Depot stepped up big time on this one. Apparently theres been a lot of this going on and they werent surprised but really couldnt say the words. When our installer came over he also couldnt say the words but did agree with the statement that Samsung dishwashers were the ones they replaced the most. Ill spend the time researching before our next appliance purchase. I guess appliances arent all about the looks and the fancy technology now. Experiences from actual consumers tell the real story. Needless to say we wont be buying any products from Samsung.

Ive owned nearly every brand of dishwasher available in the USA at one time or another, from a Caloric in the 1970s to, Whirlpool, GE, Frigidaire, Kenmore, and most recently a Samsung. None of my previous dishwashers ever leaked water except for the Samsung. The motor shaft seal leaked and the water caused the pump motor to fail. $150 dollar repair if you do the labor yourself. After watching many YouTube videos on Samsung dishwashers I have discovered this to be a common problem. Its a poor design that has cost Samsung a repeat customer forever.

I LIVE in Costa Rica, & bought my first Samsung product 15 years ago---a side-by-side refrigerator came with a 3-year warranty. In slightly less than 3 years, the electronic display on the door went nuts. I had crews taking my fridge apart every week. After replacing the panel/circuit board/wiring harnesses/entire door, they gave up & gave me a new one which lasted 7 years. When my fridge died, so did my washer & I bought another Samsung side-by-side which came with a free washer. I LOVE BOTH MACHINES, which perform perfectly & am shocked to see such complaints about the company & its products.

We purchased a Samsung OTR microwave model SMH9187W (from Sears) in June 2011 and it was installed in July by Sears. I returned from a 3-week trip in mid-August and found the microwave door ajar and the light on. The latch hooks on the door had no tension and could not keep the door closed. Everything seemed in working order when I hand held the door shut. I called Sears and they said, Sorry, youre one month out of warranty. For $75.00, well send a serviceman out, but youll have to pay for parts and labor in addition to that. However, they offered a deal of almost $300.00 for a service contract to take care of the problem. Big deal. I can buy a new microwave (not a Samsung and not from Sears) for almost the same amount. So much for the consumer reports and salesman recommendation! So far, Samsung has provided no more encouragement. They recommended a close by repair service phone number and when called, they said they can supply the part for repair, but did not get back to me on a price. When asked, Is it difficult to replace the part? The response was, Not for us. Such beautiful concern. I asked, Are there instructions with the part? No. How do you people stay in business? Beginning to sound like pre-WWII Japanese junk.

Sometimes we will go for a couple of months without any ice, and then it starts to make ice with no warning. Most of the time it just makes clunking and popping noises. This has gone on for a couple of years and after reading about all of the other problems, I am afraid to have it repaired. It seems I am lucky compared to most of you. We purchased the dishwasher 1 year ago. From the very beginning this design gave us issues. We called C/S Repair Dept & was told the water wall does not go back to original spot, it auto stops when sensor senses wash complete. Not True!!! April 2016. Dirty dishes, repaired 4 times, motor water electrical leak 3 times. Called Samsung. Was told we could purchase an extended warranty. We told the rep we had problems from the beginning, and for the last several months we have not been able to use the dishwasher. Transferred to multiple reps!!! We are told you can purchase an extended warranty. The first repair company was fired by Samsung, new service company came out 2 times to repair the motor water leak. They came out the 2nd time. Advised they did not seal the motor inside & under the motor. We were told to allow 24 hours for the silicone to dry. We gave it 3 days with the dishwasher door open. Hoping the issue was resolved we ran a load. After 40+ minutes we got the LC* warning light. This indicated water to electric leak, its recommended to shut off circuit to the unit to prevent further damage or fire. Today is Sunday 8-1-16, I will contact Samsung on Monday and the service repair company. I do not expect a resolution. I expect to be told you are out of warranty, purchase an extended warranty or we are unacceptable to help you! BUYERS BEWARE.

When our refrigerator quit after 24 years, I was excited to receive our new Samsung refrigerator. The unit was on sale, but my particular unit had been mislabeled in the store, so the salesman gave me the listed price. Perfect! Well, less than 8 months later, the ice maker just quit - on the day of our Thanksgiving dinner. I read all the literature and watched the videos via the QR Codes. My husband and I both reset the ice maker and waited 24 hours. We changed the water filter, even though no indicator light suggested it needed changing. My first call to Samsung left me beyond frustrated. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told no one was available. This technician (I use this word loosely) had me repeat everything that I had already done. Then she finally told me to turn the ice maker off on the door panel and wait 90 minutes for it to start making ice again. When I asked how it would possibly make ice when its off, she just kept repeating her instructions. What did I do? I turned the ice maker off. I wondered if this was some hard reset that wasnt listed in any material. Then came call number 2. I turned the ice maker on and gave it a little time. Nothing. I told the second Samsung person what the first person had me do. He said, Well, your ice maker wont work if its turned off. You think? He started asking me to do everything again...checking filter, resetting machine. He then asked me the temp settings. I told him -2 for freezer and 36 for the fridge. He said I needed to change the fridge to 37. When I asked him why setting my fridge one degree warmer would help, he had no answer. He then told me to wait 2-3 hours and call them back if it was not working. I said, Look, Ive been doing the same procedures for over 24 hours now. Cant you schedule someone to come fix this? He then informed me that it was procedure.Call number 3. When the third technician started to ask me questions, I cut her off. I explained that I wasnt going to repeat everything again for a third person, especially when my husband and I had already performed the same steps the day before. She apologized and told me that someone would be in my area on Friday, but the service department would call and confirm. I received a call from their service department. It was an automated message, asking me to wait. When nothing happened after several minutes, I hung up. On the second call, I decided to put my phone on speaker and go about my tasks. After 30 minutes, no one had picked up! I then called them back. After a few calls, I finally reached someone. I was told that they did not have me down for service for Friday and that the next available day would be the next Thursday. So, we are now waiting to see if someone will actually show for Thursdays appointment. I cant believe that something is broken in such little time. I usually read reviews before purchasing any big ticket items. I didnt with this purchase. When your fridge goes out, you simply go out and get one, preferably one that can be delivered quickly. I wont make this mistake again, and I definitely will not be purchasing a Samsung! I dont see how this company is going to stay in business with poor quality and poor service.

BUYERS BEWARE!! The worst experience involving the Samsung dishwasher DW80H9 series. First year the top rack was not functioning properly. The fix was use zip ties to stabilize, this was from a Samsung tech. Second year continually got the E7 error code, replaced the spray arm motor and assembly. Third year, same E7 code and replaced same parts again, but I had to wait 2-1/2 months to get the correct part. This year is the fourth year, guess what, same error code. Today I canceled all extended warranties, this company needs to remove their products from the consumer base and start over again. The Samsung Protection Plus warranty system is a joke also, the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. If I can change a handful of peoples minds to purchase a different manufacturers product, my job is done. Please be aware that Samsungs appliances are pretty and your kitchen looks awesome, but not functional and you will be spending your valuable time on the phone for hours for repair. I have a Samsung RF25HMEDBSR/AA side by side refrigerator that is nearly 2 years old, The ice maker has been a pain since 6 months after it was purchased, the thing drips water constantly, is moldy, does not produce enough ice, etc. It is mounted in the refrigerator portion of the unit in the upper left corner. It seems like it does not stay cool enough to keep the ice fully frozen and functioning. I had the ice maker and auger replace under an extended warranty package (I have been forced to purchase the warranty to the tune of 300 plus dollars a year), because Samsung customer support will not address the issue. The ice maker failed again this weekend after functioning properly for about 4 months. Thank goodness the warranty is still in place so it will be covered. I purchased your Samsung refrigerator model no: RSG257AARS/XAA, back in Dec
I purchased your Samsung refrigerator model no: RSG257AARS/XAA, back in Dec. 2013 when I bought my first home. While I am not customarily someone who uses ice in my drinks, there are certain beverages wherein I do use ice, such as with a soda or a cocktail. But for water and or juices, I do not require ice and as I rarely drink a soda or have a cocktail, I cant say the ice maker on my unit has had much use considering I am a one person household. This little to no use of the ice maker is potentially why this problem with the ice maker/dispenser did not appear until July 2014. I first noticed this problem when I discovered a large white shaving of plastic floating in a glass of Coca Cola. It was the size of a coconut shaving and so I removed this remnant and secured it into a plastic zip lock bag. Obviously, I disposed of the drink.I then examined the ice maker machine and mechanism, removed the ice bucket etc. and discovered there were dozens upon dozens of plastic shavings sitting in the cavity of freezer below the ice bucket. Upon further examination I discovered areas on the left and right sides of the plastic housing wherein it was obvious the rotary blades (auger couplers) had literally shredded into the plastic housing and it was quite clear from the magnitude of the scratches, shavings and debris that this was a serious problem.I first received service to repair this problem in July 2014. However, the repair took nearly 4 weeks to conclude, two home visits, shipment of parts, and I had no ice available to me in that time. Moreover, I greatly needed ice to medically treat an injury. Thus, the repair was more than an inconvenience. While the repair included some new parts and a new ice bucket, after the repair, I was hesitant and nervous to use the ice cubes for drinking and would look in each glass of ice. Then just a few days ago (20 Oct 2014), I found a SHARP solid chunk of white plastic floating in my Coca Cola. Again, I removed it and secure it in a zip lock bag for evidence. Upon examination of the unit, I now find that the plastic housing under the ice bucket is again being impacted and hit, only this time the scratches and scrapings are now at the front of the housing rather than on the sides. To make matters worse, on the evening of Oct 21st, I observed small white tiny powder like particles, sitting on the outside stainless steel dispenser tray, which indicates I have been ingesting and drinking micro particles of plastic. I have obtained a small sample of this particle by pressing my finger down onto it and then scraping this fine particle off my finger into a zip lock bag, but it is so small and fine that one could literally not pick it up any other way. It would be like trying to collect a single grain or flake of salt.As of late, I have been enjoying one soda a day, in place of eating a desert, and have been having more iced drinks than usual. Again, this draws me to the conclusion that if only this ice maker and dispenser had had normal American household use, this problem would have most likely occurred immediately. At this stage, my main concern is my HEALTH and how my body has been affected by ingesting micro fine particles of plastic used to make an appliance. To be honest, I am more than upset by the gravity of the situation and I find your customer service to be sub-par. In my opinion, this unit is DEFECTIVE IN DESIGN. Any refrigerator that starts dispensing plastic for a HUMAN TO EAT AND INGEST SHOULD BE DEALT WITH IN AN APPROPRIATE MANNER, and does not even fall within the scope of an ordinary repair.I can no longer trust this appliance to provide me ice! In addition, I will never again use it for drinking ice. NO WAY! NEVER! No matter how you repair it or pretend you did, it is obvious that the METAL BLADES are able to make contact with all edges of the plastic housing and therefore will ALWAYS HAVE THE POTENTIAL to feed me plastic.Next time I see my doctor I will consult with him on this matter. In the meantime, feel free to send me the chemical composition with which this plastic material is made of and I will give that to my doctor. Alternatively, we can send samples to a lab and then I will bill and or sue Samsung. I am outraged at this situation! Period! The fact that you are again going to send me a service repairperson who has NO experience with this SPECIFIC problem is ridiculous. Moreover, two Samsung service repair technicians told me they had never heard of this problem. So all you are doing is putting a Band-Aid on this situation, waiting for the manufacturer warranty to run out so that you will not have to contend with it. So yes, I am outraged. I will never again buy Samsung. In closing, I am attaching photos from last July showing evidence of the plastic shavings and impact to the housing. The current plastic particles are to small to photograph and while this is the same problem, the particles in fact are completely different now in shape and size. In fact the smaller particles and this current situation is way worse because I cannot VISIBLY see the micro-particles in a drink, making this a blatant health hazard. Please review the photos carefully! I would like this case to be escalated and dealt with by your upper management.

This fridge worked fine for about 2 years then something went haywire. It took Sears five trips to finally send a repair tech who was competent to properly diagnose the problem. The first tech diagnosed the (wrong) problem and charged me $357. That didnt fix it, so a new tech showed up and made a new diagnosis, and ordered another part. It was the wrong part, so another part had to be ordered. In the meantime, I dont have a working refrigerator so bought a 30-year-old $85 beater that does work. Luckily there was room to set it up in the dining area. Sears sent a third tech who said the initial diagnosis was wrong so ordered a new part -- but this tech then said he wouldnt plug the fridge back in because the outlet wasnt grounded. I called an electrician who charged me $75 to say yes it is grounded (which I was pretty sure was the case). Finally a tech showed up and properly diagnosed the problem, at the cost of $272. The tech said Sears would credit my credit card $85 for the difference between the right and wrong parts. Sears has not billed me for the $272 but they also have not refunded me the $85 for the overcharge. I have called them also asking to be reimbursed for these items: the $85 fridge I was forced to buy due to their technicians continued incompetence, $75 for the unneeded electrician service call, $100 that I felt obliged to offer the tenants living in the house to take off their rent because this entire process took two months to find a competent Sears service tech. I will never again buy an appliance from Sears and sure as heck wont call them to service this fridge the next time it has a problem (and Im keeping the $85 beater in the garage just in case).

We purchased a Samsung refrigerator model RF28HFEDTSR/AA - what a mistake!
We purchased a Samsung refrigerator model RF28HFEDTSR/AA - what a mistake! Like other consumers, we have had terrible problems with it - problems that are typical and that Samsung does not stand behind. This particular model has an ice maker in the freezer (bottom drawer) and an ice maker in the top (refrigerator door location) where the ice and water are dispensed. The top ice maker freezes up and has to be thawed out constantly and water drips out of the dispenser, itself. This is a common problem and a class action lawsuit has been filed - as Samsung has refused to take responsibility and address the well-known issues! In addition, the plastic shelves crack - for no reason - obviously a defect in the type of plastic that is used in manufacturing the shelves. This is another problem that has been frequently noted by consumers - yet, Samsung refuses to take responsibility. I have many Samsung products in my house - cell phones, televisions, sound bars, etc. I am very disappointed in this refrigerator, and especially in the lack of customer service by Samsung. I will think long and hard before I purchase any other Samsung products. When we first began having the freezing problem, I read on the internet how many others were having the same issue. I contacted Samsung and got nowhere at all. After being tired of constantly having to take a hair dryer and chip away the ice - I called a service to fix it - and they said there really was no fix. I had someone look at it today - and all they could do was what I had been doing - and charged me $80. They did find out that Samsung had managed to develop a fix for the problem and it would cost me between 400 and 600 dollars to do it. The service man and I both agreed that I might as well purchase a new refrigerator. This one is only 3 years old! It began having issues - of course - after the warranty period had ended. Please tell everyone not to buy Samsung appliances!

We have had a recurring problem with water that turns to ice in our crisper drawers. In the past month we have had 5 technicians come out all say the same thing, the drain line gets clogged and frozen causing water to overflow into and below the crisper drawers. The fix according to Samsung was replacing the back panel of the fridge, the evaporator panel I believe. We replaced that, in less than two weeks, we had water back in the drawers. Luckily we bought the extended warranty through Lowes but had spoken to a representative at the store that suggest we call Samsung directly. I tried that tonight, after two hours on the phone, I was asked what I expected them to do. Our unit was out of warranty (its three years old), and according to them this is not a known problem whatsoever. In fact, they even told me that there was NO record of this being reported to them at all. Even after explaining to them that I had found multiple reports of the same issue, and even on their own website have found consumers asking why they are having this exact problem was still told there was nothing they could do but CHARGE me for a service call to come and take a look at the unit. After this experience, I will no longer be purchasing any Samsung Appliances and will strongly influence any family and friends from doing so as well. Their customer service is not up to par and it’s apparent that they don’t really stand behind their product or the consumer that purchases their product! The Model Number that I have purchased is RF217ACRS which is now listed as a support product on the Samsung website which I am assuming means they are no longer selling this particular product! Buyer Beware when purchasing a Samsung Refrigerator!!!

We purchased a Samsung French Door Refrigerator August 2014 and have had six going on seven service calls since July 2015 all for the same reason. Samsung will not allow us to see the Technician reports. The Technician is frustrated when he leaves because its not fixed but Samsung Support states that the reports says our refrigerator is operating normally. Samsung stated they will continue to repair but will not replace. We found out that policy is across the board. We did not check Reviews prior to purchasing the refrigerator and apparently they dont have the good reputation we thought. I have comments between Samsung and myself, but as I stated they wont allow us to view the reports. We do not have pictures because our main complaint now is the noise which we can hear over the TV.

I bought a Samsung Appliance Package from Home Depot. Dishwasher - junk - replaced after 6 months with KitchenAid. Refrigerator ice maker freezes up multiple times. Repair dude comes out, defrosts, mumbles something about airleak, put caulk in. Ice maker still freezes up. Notice that ice is coming out of back panel. Force defrost - nope. Repair dude again - removes all shelves and pulls back panel - block of ice. Informs me that this model has icing up issues. Multiple ice maker freezes ups and rear panel freeze up over the following year. Finally had enough and ordered LG which is awesome. The most sad part is Home Depot charged me $25.00 to make this defective junkbox away.

The bottom of the French doors underneath the plastic drawers - its froze with sheet of ice and the plastic drawers have water inside them. We have contacted Aarons in Dallas NC multiple times and they said they ordered new parts but then we keep going to pay the bill and they say it hasnt been ordered again. When I called Samsung support they said its a cosmetic issue and not covered under the warranty. They said it could be caused by prolonged exposure to moisture (Ive had it for a month) or an abrasive cleaner was possibly used. The only cleaner that has been used was warm water and dish soap one time and a mixture of vinegar and water one time. Samsung refuses to stand by their product and Home Depot says the issue needs to be handled with Samsung.

We bought a Samsung Dishwasher Model DMT800RHS in 2011. Repaired it several times due to rack clips breaking off and getting stuck in the impeller. Samsung did not fix the faulty design on those clips and just sent replacement parts. Guess what, they broke again. In 2014.08.05 the dishwasher would not power up at all. Repair person attended and cost $500.00 for the repair! The machine cost me $859.90. In 2014.10.15 the machine broke again, no power at all. The Tech re-attended but now out of the 90 day warranty. He did get it working for 1 day and claimed he did not know what the issue could be but dont call him back as now out of warranty. Great. Next day, machine broke and has been ever since. Called Samsung. Wont help as machine out of warranty. This is clearly a manufacturer defect with the electronics. My only option is to take Samsung to court! Do not buy Samsung dishwashers!!

Bought a Samsung dishwasher from Best Buy and had installed late Jan 2014. Once installed had service come out to the house FOUR (4) times to repair. Would just stop working. It never cleaned that well. Glasses always came out dirty. So here we are AGAIN, the dishwasher has stopped working but because we are now over a year they say our warranty is out and refuse to fix it. If you buy a brand new product and within the first year need service 4 times, dont you think there is an issue? And its convenient that the last time they came out they said if we needed service again they would just replace it... Its pathetic Samsung does not stand behind their products. But I guess they really dont want to because its crap. And in my opinion, my warranty shouldve started over every time they had to come out and repair it.

Did not go through cycle, dishes dirty and not dry. 3 visits from authorized repair, 2 after warranty expired. Repairman installed new improved sensor. Finally agreed to refund, but now claimed unit had to be depreciated. Then came the totally outrageous part: to get refund, consumer must cut power cord purchased separately with the unit (no refund for that), take a picture of cut cord. Then, consumer must remove decal attached to door, affix it to refund request, and send it to company. Decal could not be removed - took a photo of it next to cord. Not enough! Told to use a straight razor, no exceptions! It still doesnt come off. Imagine giving this advice to an 80 year old with a tremor? This company needs a major overhaul. Policies designed for maximum profit and will not honor warranty for defective product.

My dishwasher, another model Samsung (they all seem to have similar issues)
My dishwasher, another model Samsung (they all seem to have similar issues), worked great first 6-8 months. Then would shut off and need to be restarted every few loads. Then every load, eventually several times for each load. Dishes were not clean, but covered in tiny particles of crud. Started to smell, with black gunk around front seals. Had to remove spray arms and filter to clean them out which appeared to resolve the multiple starts issue, but even after cleaning the seals, not the dirty wet dog smell. Began pre-washing everything before loading, to the point that a dishwasher was somewhat redundant. Dishes came out dirtier than they went in, requiring rewashing. Handle grips on front of racks began degrading and uprights on racks started breaking off. Within three months the multiple starts per load started again, and quickly reached the point of not running at all. Dismantled again, also cleaning out float on side of machine under metal panel. Took off handle grips which were leaving a sticky residue on anything (including hands) that touched them. Crud stuck under there too. Job took over an hour. A repairman may have done it faster, but the only $ I will resentfully sink into this clunker now is the dump fee.Its not yet two years old, does not clean dishes, is falling apart, and smells disgusting. It needs about an hours work outside the cabinet every few months to clean out minor amounts of well rotted compost that it is incapable of disgorging on its own. And it still smells like a dirty wet dog. I think these machines might be a health hazard in addition to being utterly useless. Will never buy a Samsung appliance again. They should stick to phones.

I called Samsung customer service and they advised me to go to a local certified Samsung repair shop. Just a few months later the ice maker was defective and water level was out of adjustment and too much water would overflow over the existing ice cubes. The ice cubes would become just one big block of ice and a sensor was dangling in the ice maker area. So we shut the ice maker off. A few months later the entire refrigerator shut down and we could not restart it again. Samsung technician told us that the main electronic motherboard is burnt and this is a major part and shall be covered for at least 5 years. Crack in one of the burner tops. Called every day for over a week. Got the run around every time. Put on hold for hours. Was told I it was cosmetic damage but we couldnt use our stove because if water got in it would short out. It is only 6 months old and under warranty and they wont cover it. We are so frustrated. I would like to post signs warning everyone to stay away from Samsung. Company does not honor their warranties.

Weve had our Samsung microwave for almost 3 years and we dont usually use it as wed rather use gas to cook or heat food than use the microwave. So far, its okay and its working for its function although the self-cleaning feature does not work well. The manual that comes along with it says the self-cleaning feature can help eliminate the odor but it doesnt seem to be working. We have to use conventional methods like using baking soda to eliminate odor trapped in the microwave... I wont really recommend Samsung microwaves if you have other and better choices.

We thought we were buying a top-of-the-line refrigerator when we bought our Samsung fridge 2 years ago. Model RF263BEAEBC. French doors, bottom freezer, ice and water dispenser in the door. From the beginning, the ice/water dispenser was a problem. It leaked and water ran down the left front and over to the left side of the unit, puddling in the floor. If I selected ice cubes, I got ice cubes and crushed ice, with a bit of water thrown in for good measure. Since day 1 it has never worked as it should. We have tolerated it all this time because everything else was fine. Now, we have no ice and have discovered there is (were thinking) no water getting to the ice maker in spite of the cutoff valve being wide open and undisturbed since installation. I have recently noticed water gathering in one of the fridge drawers. I am SO disgusted with this fridge!!! I cannot and will not recommend this brand to anyone!

DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG DISHWASHER. Customer Service hold time is over an hour
DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG DISHWASHER. Customer Service hold time is over an hour. Told this is normal. No return phone calls for follow-up. Seems like they (Samsung) is looking for a way not to repair/honor warranty. Contracted Repair company for my area is 6 hours away from residence AND reviews are disgusting. I wish I had never purchased Samsung Dishwasher. If I could get a refund I would.

DMT800RHS - Dont purchase this item if you have Granite countertops. They only make top mounting brackets. They do not make side mounting brackets. This leaves the dishwasher unstable which continues to cause other issues.. This seems to me to be a design flaw! After reading some of the other complaints, I also agree that there has always been a horrible smell in this dishwasher as well! Very, very unhappy customer!

We purchase a package from HH Greg 4 piece appliances refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and microwave. The ice maker stop working. Had to be replaced within a year. The oven stop working 13 months after the purchase date. I called the customer service center to discuss how disappointed and upset I was about the faulty equipment we were sold. What really upset me is the repair company they referred me to order parts before coming out to examine the refrigerator which lead me to believe the problem with the ice maker was a known issue. The same thing happen when the repair company called about the stove. Im so frustrated they knew of the issue with these appliances and dont have a problem passing the repair bill to the consumers. I owned GE appliances for years. Decided to go with Samsung because I thought they had a good product. Im so upset and disappointed. If I could afford to I would replace these appliances. Im worried the dishwasher and microwave is going to break next. I didnt purchase the warranty because we paid cash and thought we were buying high end products we felt safe. Was I ever so wrong. I wouldnt recommend Samsung to my worst enemy.

Our Samsung DMR77LHW model that we purchased as part of a kitchen renovatio
Our Samsung DMR77LHW model that we purchased as part of a kitchen renovation some 5 years ago has been a source of frustration for the last 4 years. We had it repaired twice under an extended warranty (thank God!!); the first time just a year after purchase (replaced circuit board) and then again this past winter (entire top rack, door gasket, top rotary washing arm). Between those 2 service calls (and continuing to this day), nothing but poor performance and failing parts: Brittle and broken rack clips, recurring SE error (and now a PE code yesterday!) during normal cycle, cleaned dishes and glasses with odd food particles caked on, very wet items after the drying cycle, etc. We will be replacing this piece of cr*p in the next month because we have endured it long enough. Shame on Samsung for STILL producing such low quality products 5 years after we bought our own. I thought that this manufacturer would improve its appliances based on all this consumer feedback, but apparently Samsung doesnt care about that. So, junk products + poor customer service experience = a company to boycott. Bye bye Samsung. You have lost another client. Not just for dishwashers, but your ENTIRE line of products, I.e., Mobile Devices, TV & Audio, Cameras & Camcorders, PC monitors & Printers, Home Appliances, and Memory/Storage (as per your products list at Samsung.com). You will not get my business again!
