I have a Samsung French Door Fridge. DONT PURCHASE ONE!! It is the most frustrating piece of expensive equipment one could own. The ice maker has a mind and a life of its own. It freezes up every two to three days and is totally useless. I am so disappointed with this product and from what I have read above getting help from Samsung is as hopeful as a dog chasing its tail and catching it. You go round and round in circles. I paid almost $2400.00 for it Canadian. I would not recommend this machine to anyone. Stay far, far away from this beastly machine. It is a disaster waiting for a place to happen.

Beautiful stylish look, silent operation, and gets dishes clean, powerful enough for even the toughest of stuck on food, and no spots on glassware, yes it’s pricey but it looks good and does what it’s supposed to. And the best part is it’s backed by Samsung customer service, and customer service is the key factor for me.

No satisfaction from Samsung. Oven Clicks when Baking. Says it’s normal. Okay, I can live with that being normal for the way their electrical system is built but my issue is because I have never known in my lifetime that an oven clicks (loudly) while being on. This is not normal for the most customers, so I feel I should have been told about this before purchasing so I could make the decision of whether this would be my new normal while baking. The clicking noise should have also been described by the sales person as a LOUD OBNOXIOUS CLICKING NOISE. I am still working with Samsung to get resolved. I want a full refund. Till you hear they have resolved this issue through consumer reports or updates, DON’T BUY THIS OVEN!

My Samsung RFG298HD refrigerator is about 5 years old. Earlier this year the icemaker stopped working... Got that problem fixed. Shortly after that, water began pooling in the Cool Select Pantry Drawer and now the drawer seems to be frozen in place and will not open at all. After some internet research Ive learned this a fairly common problem with Samsung refrigerators and apparently Samsung has chosen not to address the problem. This was a very expensive refrigerator and Im not happy with the product and WILL NOT buy another Samsung appliance. My last refrigerator was a Kenmore. We had for over 20 years which was still working perfectly when we replaced it with the Samsung junk.

We purchased a Samsung Refrigerator side by side 4 years ago. In the last 6 months it has stopped getting cold, temp goes up to 59 degrees. The first time a local appliance repairman came out, told me that the fan freezes up. He unplugged it and thawed it out. Worked fine for a couple of months. Later it has happened again. I tried unplugging it and thawing it out. Did not work so I called a Samsung repairman and 1 week later he will be here. I will not ever buy Samsung again. Customer Service Rep from Samsung told me things dont last very long anymore.

I scrolled down and read the reviews until the Dec. 28, 2010 entry where I found someone who had the same dishwasher as I have: DMR57. I loaded my dishwasher last night, put in the soap and shut the door to start it. When I touched the start button, it was dead. The whole touch panel was dead. Thinking somehow a breaker had blown, I checked on that and it had not. The machine was just dead. My husband is an electrician, but he didnt even get a chance to check the electrical. He shut the door and something inside, the latch broke. Now the door doesnt latch. We bought this unit in September 2008. After having it for two weeks back then, we called the service department explaining how touchy the control panel was. If you just skimmed the panel, you could turn it on or off. The instrument was replaced but it is still extremely sensitive. We began to put the touch panel in the child lock mode when in use and when not in use. By doing so protected the touch panel; we couldnt turn it on or off. It is awful when the dishwasher is on and in mid-wash cycle and you accidentally touch or skim the panel and the whole machine is turned off. This dishwasher does not restart from where the cycle was shut off. You have to restart the wash cycle from the beginning. Weve decided to replace the dishwasher with another brand instead of fixing this one. Dishwashers should last some 10-15 years. We will not be buying a Samsung. I must say that we have a Samsung refrigerator that I just love! I may jinx myself, but lets hope not.

Did repairs myself. The refrigerator has been nothing but issues freezing the coil up, the fan being bound in ice and now the ice maker died. 1 week ago the microwave died and it now need the whole control panel. Samsung has been useless in resolving these issues so Im stuck fixing them myself. What a huge waste of money. Do not buy Samsung appliances. Guess my stove will be next.

We purchased a Samsung french door refrigerator in 2012. It has an external ice and water, along with the bottom freezer and a drawer that has various options. Since 2014, we have had significant problems with the ice maker. The repair person has been here 5-6 times attempting to fix what he calls a manufacturing and engineering defect. Apparently he has seen this problem multiple times. It doesnt make ice, then it makes ice but it all melts and refreezes in a solid block. It continued this cycle over and over until it burned out its fan. Multiple calls to Samsung have gotten me nowhere except that I have now spent nearly $1000 trying to fix a $2500 appliance that is still brand new.

This is the third time in less than 2 years that we have had to order replacement parts for what we thought was a fantastic product. First in 13 months after purchase the left vegetable drawer had to be replaced because a piece broke off, then 6 months later one of the door bins on the right refrigerator door cracked and broke. Today I have ordered hinges for both the left and right vegetable drawers which have cracked pieces. I called Samsung immediately to make sure I received refund. To sum it up: After 22 phone calls, countless claim #s, XPO confirming they have the fridge still at warehouse. Samsung has NOT fulfilled the paperwork to recognize proper return/refusal to XPO thus 18 days later I have yet to receive my refund. This morning I was told by a Samsung supervisor we have millions of orders, it is your job to keep checking on your refund status, there is nothing I can do and hung up. Recently we converted our less than six month old our entire upgraded GE kitchen appliances to Samsung Black Stainless Steel at roughly $6,500. In spite of the cost we have always had success with the product brand including TVs, cell phones, tablets, appliances you name if Samsung makes it we buy it. However the dishwashers has been less than acceptable not to mention most disappointing. Besides being noisy theres always standing water after a complete cycle. If unattended the odor of spoiled or soiled smelling water its all but unbearable. No problem. We contacted the local Samsung authorized technician to make a house call and repairs or adjustment. After a half hour he said everything was in working order and the accumulation of the standing water was normal... I quote its needed to prime the pump... That of course is BS!First thing when you start the washer is WATER! Subsequently and after filing a complaint with customer service which I might add are nothing more than pimple face robots sitting in front of computers that reply from canned presentations. Eventually and after some persistence our complaint was sent to another department and after waiting three or so weeks we get a call back saying they are sending us a complete refund. Once again my faith is restored with Samsung; but its not to be! After a few more weeks the promised call back never came so we reached out to their customer service and once again we got a runaround with the pending refund. But today we get a call from the department that makes the final decision telling us it was a mistake and the problem is considered maintenance not covered under their normal warranty... Mind you we are talking about a product that was less than three weeks old. Their (CR) mannerism with a response was being read not communicated like in a normal conversation; most disappointing to say the least. The CR kept repeating the same verbiage word for word over and over several times. Before I wrote this review I did some research and discovered besides Samsung - Bosch and Whirlpool they share this common problem. Their recommendation is adding vinegar and lemon juice in the dishwasher or you can buy a cleaner/chemical specific for dishwashers to control odors; expect to pay around $12-$13. So Samsung potential dishwashers buyers beware!

I purchased a Samsung dishwasher, model DD81-01549A_EN a little over a year and a half ago. It is the worst purchase I have ever made. The dishes do not come clean unless you wash them prior to putting them in the dishwasher (kind of defeats the purpose). If you have cereal bowls, forget about finding a good way to load them. The bottom rack tines are at an odd angle and hold some plates too close together. The silverware must be rinsed and loaded working end up, and dont put 2 spoons in the same bin. I followed all of the manufacturer recommendations for loading and running the piece of crap. It is the worst dishwasher I have ever used. A total waste of money. I should have spent a little more for a different brand. Will never buy Samsung again. Customer service said sorry, you must be loading it wrong. Dont waste your money.

I bought this dishwasher new. Within the first 2 years the control panel went out, cost $200. The bottom screen tore, replaced at 85. My husband did all the labor or I would have paid as much again for this dishwasher as it cost originally. Now just a simple leak at the bottom of the door. The rubber gasket is old and tore, water leaking all over my floor. Simple to get out. But Samsung does not sell just the door gasket, You must Buy The Entire Door Panel. Why not? It’s holding the consumer hostage for higher priced parts replacements. Repacking a door when you just need the seal! The cost of a gasket $20 maybe, but the entire door is what they want to sell me at $250. just to get a new bottom door seal. Highway robbery. I will never buy your product again. Totally ridiculous! This dishwasher still looks great but it is being trashed. Can’t use it, leaks water all over the floor without the gasket. On August 3, 2015 my Samsung Microwave SMH2117S caught on fire and nearly burned down my house. I had notified Samsung about five weeks prior to the fire to report that the microwave was coming on by itself when you would open the door. I was told at that time there was nothing they could do unless I purchased their almost $400.00 extended warranty. I refuse to as the microwave was only one-year-old. And then two days before the fire, the microwave started coming on by itself without anyone even touching it. I then decided to simply replace it. Two days later as I was getting ready to replace it, it caught fire and did major damage to my home. Samsung is coming out to my damaged home in the morning.

RFG298AARS - This sexy-looking refrigerator has major inherent design flaws
RFG298AARS - This sexy-looking refrigerator has major inherent design flaws, and we have had nothing but problems with it. The first unit purchased from Lowes in mid 2008 (with the extended warranty) lasted less than a year. The ice maker stopped working and when the repairman pulled the unit out, the entire new Brazilian teak hardwood flooring underneath was warped and wet from an internal slow leak that was probably missed as it came off the assembly line. Lowes brought a brand new 2009 unit, hauled the faulty one away and provided a credit to fix the flooring. Fast forward to Sept. 2014 (one month out of warranty)... Fridge/freezer stop cooling altogether with no error codes. I caught it just in time to keep everything inside from spoiling completely. To fix the sealed compressor system will be $1000. The external ice/water dispenser is also showing major signs of corrosion (leaking from the inside out), even though this is supposed to be 100% stainless steel... Nothing we have tried will clean it.At this point we have transitioned back to our faux stainless steel 10+ year old side by side in the garage. The Energy Star, digital inverter compressor technology is nothing but headache and money wasted for the end consumer. This unit was produced to be super insulated with one of the largest capacities available. It is now a $2800 decoration, and like most people, I expect an appliance with that price tag to last much longer than 5 years. The issues I have listed echo numerous complaints all over internet forums. We have spent over $10,000 on Samsung products in the past 10 years, but with this incident we no longer have any confidence in their products. In other words, give me old skool. I could have purchased 5 of my mothers fridges for the amount I spent on this piece of junk... and hers is 20 years old.

RF267AEPN French Door Samsung Refrigerator - Nice looking junk! Expensive and poorly made, and Samsung knows it. They should be ashamed. I bought mine from Sears in 2010. Two days ago, I noticed that food in the fridge portion seemed to be spoiling far too fast. Some of the produce and lunch meats needed to be thrown out after only being purchased four days prior. Then today it sounded like the fridge fan was banging against something. I checked the temperature gauges and was shocked to find the fridge was at 53 degrees, even though it was set to 38. The freezer was fine. Set for -2, and maintaining -2. Then I realized I had a pile of water under the Cool Select Drawer. After cleaning that mess up, I wondered if maybe the water filter had anything to do with it. Since it was time to change it anyway, I started to take out the shelf under the water filter, and found I could not get the shelf out because it was frozen in place. Then I noticed that the entire strip that runs down the center back of the fridge for purposes of shelf height adjustment was completely filled with ice. I could not believe I was seeing this sort of thing on a refrigerator that is only 3 1/2 years old. So I started researching to see if anyone else has had this problem with these refrigerators and found this site (along with reviews on vendor sites), and found that a class action lawsuit was filed in 2010, and appears to be ongoing. One of the main law firms representing plaintiffs appears to be Cohen, Placitella & Roth, so I will be contacting them to see if it is possible to add more people. Companies should not be allowed to get away with making such inferior product. People simply cannot afford to be replacing major appliances every three years!!

Im 65 years old. Ive owned a home since I was 19 years old. Ive had experience with most if not all of the major brands over the course of time. In 2016 we purchased a Samsung Kitchen suite of Black Stainless steel appliances. We have had calls on every appliance except the microwave. The stove fried the electronics the very first time we used the self cleaning oven function. It currently sits with most the digital readout gone. The refrigerator is the worst of all of them. The ice maker freezes up about every 6 weeks, and the refrigerator itself freezes up needing complete unplug defrost every 5-6 months minimum. The dishwasher was super quiet for about a year then started making noise. Repairman says its the pump... I can replace it for $275 and it will do the same thing in about a year. If it were me Id wait for it to quit working all together. You couldnt give me another set of Samsung kitchen appliances. My refrigerator stopped working so I called the number on the refrigerator. Thinking even though it was out of warranty No one better than having a Samsung service pro to fix my Refrigerator. So I made the call on Friday the 14th to set up a service. I was told someone would contact me within 48 hours. On Monday 4 days later I still have not been contacted so I called Samsung again. At this time they informed me that I should have been contacted by service company on the 14th. They gave me the number to call the service company myself so I did. The service company informed me that they had informed Samsung on Friday the 14th that I was out of their service area but Samsung never contacted me to let me know. The Samsung call center overseas was very unprofessional and would not even let me to talk to a supervisor then proceeded to tell me that my warranty was over just call someone else. So now on Tuesday Samsung informs me there are no service companies in my Zip code. So I have waited 5 days to get my Refrigerator repaired and now Im calling Sears. After buying ice for 5 days trying to salvage my food its all being thrown away. I will never purchase a Samsung Again only because of the poor service center.

We have had this fridge for less than 3 years, as early as 6 months from when we bought it the ice maker would stop working and the fan would get loud, after having a service tech out he said it was a common issue with these as they constantly do this, so I went on line and found numerous people with the french door and ice maker combo have the same issue--Seems like a design flaw, but Samsung doesnt seem to do anything about it. So usually once every 6-8 months I would have to dump the entire fridge/freezer (we keep an old fridge in the basement essentially to allow for this) and unplug the fridge and allow it to thaw out overnight, then I remove the back panel of the fridge (inside) and thaw the cooling unit out with a hair dryer, re-assemble it and we are good to go.The last year we seem to be needing to do this every 2-3 months, I had to do it tonight after 5 weeks--This is ridiculous. My wife said, Wow you are getting really fast at taking this apart and thawing out the cooling unit--While this was meant as a compliment, its kind of crazy that I need to become fast or good at thawing out the fridge--The one in the basement thats 15 years old I never have to touch--The thing is we own a Kitchen cabinet business and we always have to recommend appliances to clients, guess what we DO NOT recommend to them, 1) samsung appliances in general (just replaces 4 year old samsung washer/dryer set) (2) fridges with ice makers. So please do your self a favour and do not buy this fridge. Samsung needs to stop making the RF25HMEDBSR OR ANY UNIT SIMILAR AS ITS A PIECE OF JUNK.

Samsung DMT300RFW/XAA Dishwasher - A little over two years old and I am getting ready to cart this piece of junk out to the street for the trash collector! The unit never performed at the levels promised. Dishes were left dirty and spotted if used in the normal mode. Per Samsung techs, we were told to use the high energy sanitize mode (so much for the low energy use sales pitch)! Last night, the dishwasher started making electrical sparking noises and producing an electrical smell. We contacted a half dozen reputable local repair companies and nobody is authorized to work on Samsung. The closest authorized place is a TV repair company 30 miles away! We have a million people in South Orange County and not one authorized repair company? Were never going to buy another Samsung product!

We purchased our top fridge - bottom freezer unit from Best Buy approximately 5 years ago. Last May it started making a lot of noise and then stopped cooling. We paid over $300.00 to fix it (defrosted it due to ice in back and replaced some parts). Now, one year later its not cooling at all. The ice maker no longer senses when it is full either. It is a piece of junk. I will NEVER buy another Samsung appliance.

In July 2012, we had to buy a new refrigerator because the compressor on the old one died. We usually buy appliances from Best Buy but now appliances have been taken over by Pacific Sales. We got their cheap extended warranty and, to this day, the ice maker has failed to function properly. Warranty was called and out of the 4 times, they paid 3 and the last one I had to fight the warranty company (Warren Tech the worst company to deal with) because I kept saying that the ice maker isnt functioning properly because every month the ice builds up and no ice comes out. Samsung will not even help because the manufacturers warranty is over and the problem is now the warranty companys problem. If anyone else has had a problem with their Samsung ice maker please tell us what we could do to have the ice maker function the way it should.

I purchased a Samsung Dishwasher at Costco, Model # DW80K2021US. Samsung had its own warranty on it for one year and Costco was kind enough to place a two year warranty on it. I purchased it in June 2017 and it just quit on me October 2019. These should last longer than that but they are absolute junk. The water pump is gone, and it will cost at least $300 to fix - The dishwasher on sale was $499. Costco, please dont carry this junk or anything like it from Samsung. Costco will just get a bad rep from selling these bad products. Stay away from anything labelled Samsung.

Within a few months had issues with the brand new dishwasher. First off it wouldnt latch right, so it wouldnt start. Repairman even said in the future to get a model with a latch you turn and lock yourself. It was under warranty, guy came out about four days later and fixed that. When he left and we ran a cycle, suddenly it wouldnt drain. Guy came out again a few days later, took a look and said it needed a new computer board. They mailed it to my house. Took over a week. After not being able to get the guy to the house, he missed an appointment then showed up the next day while I was at work, we put it in ourselves (Almost 3 weeks, over 2 weeks with water in the bottom of the dishwasher that even with baking soda etc, was starting to stink up the kitchen!). Worked ok for about 8 months. Now it seems like it needs another computer board because it isnt drying the dishes. Its only 18 months old!

Purchased a new Samsung oven, dishwasher and fridge combo from Best Buy. Within 4 months of owning the oven, used very little, the oven started having serious issues. The oven would take forever to heat up, have to put it on 500 degrees to get it to heat up to 350 degrees. When you opened the door to put anything in the oven it dropped about 200 degrees. Have to wait for it to heat up again. In the middle of baking time, the oven would drop its temperature. Other times it would heat above whatever you place the oven temp on. Went to Best Buy, they had to call Samsung. Was going to be on hold for over a half hour so left and placed the called myself. When I finally got a hold of Samsung, they said they had never heard of anything like this before happening. They sent out a tech. The tech determined the whole motherboard needed replaced. Three weeks later the motherboard arrived and a tech came out and installed. Havent had problems since however for the oven only being a few months old the motherboard should not have failed. The fridge is very loud and the freezer causes freezer burn on everything. I am glad that Samsung had no issues sending someone out to repair it at no charge however they need to look more into what is causing the issue. It ruined our Thanksgiving dinner!

My Samsung washer is just over 3 years old and a top loader. The bleach dispenser right under the lid is rusting and the rust is starting right into the metal on the machine and is getting worse. I have a extended warranty on the washer and dryer. I bought the product at Lowes. I called Lowes and they sent someone out. They ordered the top part of the machine and lid. They have been here 4 times and it isnt fixed yet because Lowes put the blame on Samsung and I called Samsung and they said that they wouldnt fix it, saying it is cosmetic. So, what is a person to do? Also I have a Samsung refrigerator and water is leaking into the vegetable bins at the bottom. I dont know where it is coming from. Have had my $3000 Samsung Refrig for just over 5 years. Similar results as everyone else here... the fridge began acting up approx. 6 mos. ago... since then have had 6 service calls to fix. Seems after replacing the ENTIRE back inside panel for $200, fridge is working, but now freezer is not. Cannot even begin to explain how FRUSTRATING AND EXACERBATING this experience has been. Made numerous calls and emails to Samsung, even got bounced up to their VIP Customer Service (for those of us who have had POOR service issues) and they do NOTHING!!! Since is out of warranty, were on our own! I own many Samsung products including washer/dryer, cell phones, TVs, and now will begin buying other brands as I get rid of every Samsung product in my home. There are OBVIOUSLY design defects/flaws in their refrigerator designs (as the serviceman told me also!) and they know it. They keep coming out with these fixes for things... of course, which are NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. So we have to continue to pay for these. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AND FRUSTRATED WITH SAMSUNG IN GENERAL. HOPEFULLY THEY WILL GET WHAT IS COMING TO THEM. I DONT EVEN WISH TO GIVE THEM ONE STAR... THEYRE NOT WORTH IT!!

The fan in the refrigerator made a horrible noise. The ice maker stopped working within 2 years. Once we turned it off there was a lot of moisture in the fridge. The back inside had chunks of ice. The temperature was about 52. We threw out food often. To get this fixed would have cost too much money. Samsung does not stand behind this. Microwave broke under warranty (4 months old). Called Samsung and they dispatched local appliance technicians. The local technicians indicated they cannot repair the microwave and requested the microwave be replaced. The Samsung customer service center responded they will not replace the microwave. Samsungs response is to keep sending replacement parts to try. In some cases Samsung has sent the same part twice. At this point my microwave has been under repair for 6+ weeks and no resolution. Samsung has absolutely terrible respect for their clients or the advice of the service technicians. Even if repaired I worry about the safety of the product post repair as I have seen reports on this site of Samsung microwaves catching fire. I bought the Samsung French door refrigerator from SEARS in May 2014. Bought the extended warranty. The compressor went out Sept 1 2014, lost my food, had out of town visitors, and a technician wouldnt be there for four days. After 4 days, compressor wont be replaced for another week. Sears wouldnt let me return it (policy is 30 days). Said I had to first suffer more than once then they would think about it; however, 5 employees I spoke with earlier told me I had a $250 food replacement and I would be able to return it because it was the compressor. Sears did not replace my food but gave me a $50 allowance for future food for each of the 2 weeks I am without a refrigerator. I had my last refrigerator - NOT a Samsung through SEARS - for 24 years. Not only has the quality of the appliance gone down but the service is horrendous and the training of employees is dishonest.

When I tried to register the product at the Samsung site, it kept kicking me out to correct non-existent errors, giving me the suspicion they didnt want to accept my information or to honor the warranty. I got them on the phone and they cheerfully set-up an appt. with the only Samsung service available in a 75 mile radius, and I live just outside Chicago! Not sure what had happened to my brand new dishwasher, I decided to call the service outlet 12 miles from my home to inquire about the possibility of it being due to bad electric service. They informed me that the visit alone would be $138! I since realized it was Samsungs fault because I have 4 other electronic appliances that have been around for 5 years, trouble-free.But I also decided to Google trouble with this dishwasher and immediately found a website called: Consumer Complaints & Reviews. Apparently, I wasnt the only one who discovered too late, that the most important part of selling me a Samsung dishwasher is getting me to purchase it... Of the top 125 complaints, there are about 20-30 Best Buy customers. The typical breakdown concerns the Chinese electronic control panel which is what my problem is, according to the trouble code. The dishwasher will recover after about 4-8 hours, begins a new wash cycle and then a few minutes later, stops and blinks the LEDs.Ive had it for 6 months and used it 10 times. I have the original box of Powerball tablets recommended by Samsung. I live alone and usually wash a lot by hand instead of wasting energy, soap, etc. Im presently at home with a back injury and no dishwasher! I can only stand for about 2 to 4 minutes and Im still paying for the broken Samsung. So far, the cost is $50.00 per wash load!I called Best Buy for help. I wanted to trade this for a new dishwasher of a different brand and they offered to take the unit away for me, while there, delivering my new purchase! I got angry and said, I couldnt find out it was defective before your time limit. I dont have that many dishes. They asked me if Id bought the extended service plan and I got more angry. I said: Once you get it out the door, it’s next customer? What happened to standing by your product? Youre in this business, obviously, you know this is junk, why is it on your floor to sell to me?According to these bad reviews at Consumer Complaints & Reviews, Samsung had denied, blamed and dragged their feet at the customers expense for months at a time in many cases. So my worst fears about trying to clean my dishes with my injury are coming true! WHY Samsung? WHY Best Buy? I hope you have the decency to allow this review to be posted here, for the sake of your remaining customers, because Ive taken myself off your mailing list and cutting up your so-called: Elite membership! Just in case you censor this review, Ill be posting it all over the internet, everywhere I can, until my undeserved punishment is repealed by you or Samsung.

I purchased Samsung Chef Collection refrigerator around Nov/Dec of 2014. Best looking refrigerator at the time. Paid over $4000. Well, I must say, it does look good, but where is the bases of the GOOD REFRIGERATOR? I wonder. Reason being is that, the ICE MAKER has been giving me problem about 9 months into use. Ice would not come out, so I tried to pull the ice basket off. It was stuck and could not remove it. Called warranty service, then it was close to being expired. Tech came and fixed it, then month later it was doing it again. Seems to me that when ice is being produced, the water splashes along the wall and it freezes the mechanism around it. When tech came, he had to turn off the refrigerator and use the steamer to melt around it. Another problem that I am experience is when ICE is being dispensed, only CRUSHED ICE will come out. So, I guess entire ICE MACHINE is just a JUNK after all. I would not recommend you getting this unit. I should have listen to the sales person, because, he did say, Samsung has weak ICE Machine, but didnt warn me enough. (He should have said, ICE MACHINE is a some Piece of **.) I hope they will do recall on this unit or replace it at no cost. Better yet, they better come out with better ICE MACHINE Technology that will simply produce ICE.

It was billed as being a better cleaning product because the spray arm goes back and forth rather than in a circular motion like traditional dishwashers. I bought my a Samsung RS-261MDWP model # refrigerator about 3 years ago from Best Buy. It has been a nightmare. Within the first 6 months I had 5-7 service calls. Thank God I purchased the extended warranty. The ice maker went out, the display board stopped working, they had to replace the motherboard, and a couple other things. Finally, after about 3 months of nonsense and not getting all the repairs done in a timely fashion, I was so fed up that I just walked in to Best Buy and demanded they give me another refrigerator. Of course I got the story that it has nothing to do with them and I would have to call Samsung or their Geek Squad department at their toll free number. I demanded to speak with the store manager or someone in corporate. I told them I have had several different men in my house for the past 5-6 months because the 3rd party company they are using for repairs doesnt know what they are doing and keep sending different people which all say its something else every time. I finally got a higher up manager that agreed that this was ridiculous and gave me whole new refrigerator. It wasnt even 6 months before we had to have a service call on that one. I have even ignored some of the other problems just because I dont want to have to keep calling them because they put you through so much. Today I had no choice because it has begun to make so much noise, it gets louder than the television. I will never buy a Samsung again. It also has started to freeze up, meaning it locks us out from getting water or ice so we have to unplug it for about 1 min so it will reboot. I say its possessed.

We purchased the RF32FMQDBSR/AA 4 door flex zone fridge, from Conns furnishings, in April 2014. We didnt even get 6 months of use from it by the time the ice maker quit working. I called Samsung support, if you want to call it that. They had me go through steps to defrost it and reset the ice maker. It worked for a few weeks, then did the same thing again. I tried to get them to send out a service tech to see if there was an actual problem, while the fridge was under warranty. They would not do it. They said it just needed to be maintained by us. I got tired of the run around from Samsung, so I left it at that. We can live without an ice maker, because by the time Samsung actually wanted to do something about it, our warranty had expired. Imagine that!!!Now, our new problem. A few weeks ago, we noticed milk and food spoiling in the fridge. We thought it had just expired or something, but it had not. The fridge was not cooling past 60 degrees. The front panel said it was 35 degrees, but when I reset the panel it showed the actual temp of 63. No wonder food is spoiling. I called a service tech myself, because I thought our warranty was out. They listened to the symptoms and didnt even send someone out. They told me to contact Samsung, as it was a problem with the sealed system, and it is still under the 5 year warranty. So, I called Samsung. After 3 different phone calls and 3 different ticket numbers, they sent out their contracted service techs. The tech concluded, after a couple of hours of work, that the problem was in the sealed system. I asked him if it can be fixed, and he said he didnt know of anybody that can fix it, due to the flammable refrigerant they used in these systems. Now, Im waiting on Samsung to get their head out of their collective **, and do something about this, as weve been without a fridge for going on 4 weeks now. I will never buy another Samsung product as long as I live.

In good faith we purchased a Samsung refrigerator in June 2013 from Home Depot. We purchased the extended warranty - we have had use this warranty for repairs over 10 times in under 5 years. On May 5 2018 the entire cooling system failed. I lost a ton of food and had to eat out every day. The repair guy fixed / replaced the cooling system on May 14 2018. Just for the cooling system to fail again on June 1 2018 less than 2 weeks after the fix / repair - this has left me with no freezer and no refrigerator - this unit is now deemed irreparable (it is a sitting duck not working) and I am now left with no way to keep anything cold or frozen while your process takes its sweet time. I have lost over $1000 worth of food and this is not even taking into account the food I need to buy each day for my family just to live, as I cannot keep anything cool or frozen!I was told I need to wait 10-12 days before an RMA is issued from June 5th 2018 - how long after that will it take to get an actual unit! This means I am now 2 months without any way to keep fresh food. I am beyond frustrated. I called today your company on 6/12/2018 just to be told I will receive a refurbished one. Well isnt my new one that was repaired on May 14 2018 considered refurbished? I do not want a refurbished unit. This is so unacceptable as we are suffering not the paper pushers and the approvers. Why does this process take so long? We are out $100 and $100 of dollars in food that we dont have the money to spend so that just means we are going into debt for this hassle. I feel I am being held hostage by your company and slowness to respond. This has been a horrible year with family deaths and now I have to deal with this situation. I have a medical dog who can only eat fresh food due to kidney failure as kibble is too drying for her. So the stress of keeping her alive without cooling is horrid.

Purchased this microwave from Lowe’s in 2013. Broke this weekend after catching on fire internally. White plastic / electrical smoke filled our house. Luckily no other damage. If we were not in the kitchen however, the story could have been different. Contacted Samsung directly to see if they could help with repairs, or a discount towards a new Samsung microwave. The answer: No, we only warrant our appliances for 1 year. Anything past 1 year is the consumer’s responsibility. So my warning to anyone looking to purchase a Samsung appliance. Get the extended warranty, which is very expensive. Because after year 1, and your appliance breaks or causes damage to your home, Samsung will not help. Wonderful company.

So expensive for so little results. Their fridge is worst. Need to have class suit action about the poor quality of their appliances. Faulty built, break easily, expensive to fix, big for nothing.

I wish that I had read all of the negatives reviews regarding Samsung refrigerators before I purchased one. I will have to admit that I have had mine 4 yrs. & today is the first repair job but it seems to be the same problem that everyone is complaining about. I have had water collecting in both veg/fruit drawers. After $250.00, I hope the problem has been corrected. The FF was freezing & leaking per info on repair ticket??? The repairman replaced the heat probe. He said that many of these have had to be replaced. The original ones were too short & they are being replaced with longer ones. This sounds as if there should have been a recall since he told me that he had replaced several with the newer type probe. I do not have any hope of anything being done by Samsung but it sounds as if they should have addressed this problem instead of denying that there is a problem.

Purchased this refrigerator December 2010 for my parents. Within 6 months the vegetable drawers began filling up with water. Parents decided not to replace. January 2nd 4 years after purchase the motherboard went out, a new compressor was ordered and installed, then the New Compressor developed a leak, and now another service call has been set due to the refrigerator still not working. Service has been to my parents home January 2, January 9th, January 16th, January 26th, January 29th and scheduled February 4th, 2015. Samsung has been contacted, their response was its out of warranty. My response is a $1200 refrigerator should last longer than 4 years, if not then the construction of the product is defective. Samsungs response - too bad. Dealing with the Executive Customer Service representative was very unwilling to send me to a supervisor, Im still waiting on a call back. Definitely do not purchase Samsung equipment they do not stand behind their products.

My wife bought her new Samsung refrigerator from Lowes in East Peoria Illin
My wife bought her new Samsung refrigerator from Lowes in East Peoria Illinois, (bought 1/3/14 delivered the week of the 13th same month). She was very pleased with them and their delivery personal, very professional. What I can not stand is the very loud banging noise that comes from time to time from this unit. The unit is just over 30 days old and I finally got her to call about this loud noise that continues to come from the unit. From what I could tell from her conversation is, that its suppose to be normal, and if someone does come out well have to pay a service call. I have never heard of having to pay for a service call on anything that is only 30 plus days old. They convinced her to wait awhile since everything else seems to be ok since it is under warranty. At least she agreed with me to contact the sales person she bought it off of to get there thoughts. Unfortunately, they just happened to be off today. But after reading all these reviews, I dont feel to good about our chances. The one thing I can say is this, if the unit turns out to last for 20+ years like our Whirlpools did, I still would not recommend this product. I just can not stand the loud noises it continually makes, heck its so loud! Its made me jump on more than one occasion. I included no photos because my problem is with all the noise.

In late 2012, I upgraded my white GE kitchen appliances with stainless stee
In late 2012, I upgraded my white GE kitchen appliances with stainless steel appliances. So I purchased a Samsung stainless steel gas stove and microwave and a Whirlpool fridge from Lowes. The stove and fridge continues to operate smoothly. The microwave worked well the first year then begin to malfunction. The power would cut off in the middle of heating a meal. I would unplug the power cord then plug it back in the outlet after 10 secs to turn the power back on. I thought that it could be an issue with the power outlet or breaker. My electrician confirmed both sources were working properly. So this malfunction occurred often until recently the microwave goes out after 5 secs of running. Then I repeat the plugging and unplugging every 5 to 10 secs until the food warms up. This is frustrating because I always have to drag the tall bar stool and use it as a stepping stool to reach the power outlet inside the rear of the cabinet. Sometimes I get so fed up that I just use the oven or stove to heat up my food. I called Samsung service center today and the rep was very polite, took my model number and zip code and provided me the telephone number of the nearest service technician. I called the number and it was not in service. I called Samsung back and this time I reached a rep who was really nice but we struggled to understand each other because of our accents. I explained to him about my earlier call and that the telephone number wasnt in service. He checked and confirmed that was the only service tech listed in my area. I asked whats the alternative. I was advised that since my microwave was out of warranty that I would need to find my own repairer. I asked what is the lifespan of this model because Ive had it 3 yrs and its been malfunction most of the time. My last microwave came with the home in 2001 and still worked fine over 10 yrs later. This is unacceptable.

Purchased french door, freezer on bottom model March 2014. Hinge wheel broke 11/2014, cannot get it repaired because they keep sending wrong part. Dec 2014, start making loud banging noise. Were told they would replace fridge BUT someone wrote it up as installation problem rather than insulation problem. Cannot get any answers. They now say it is out of warranty (I actually told them I thought they were delaying on purpose until we were out of warranty). Terrible service! Spend hours on the phone with Samsung. Last Samsung product we will buy (we have 7 Samsung major appliances).

I purchase a double door refrigerator model digital inverter with 10 years warranty on 16-09-2013 but before 3 months (after purchasing approx 6 month) I noticed the fruit tray was cracked. I complaint to customer care but customer care representative said our company has not covered plastic part under warranty. He demanded rs. 2000/- to replace the tray. After some time I like a hairline crack in the plastic at the front of the tray above the vegetable and fruit drawers. Sir, I dont understand what is the problem in this fridge. I think this fault is from the company... Pls check your product. Before one year your plastic part was cracked automatically... but your staff said this is not covered by us... Pls tell me what I do... what is my fault? (purchasing your great company Refrigerator) Pls solve my matter.

Refrigerator RF4287HA - We paid $350 to have a authorized Samsung repair service tell us that insulation foam trapped in the overflow tube caused our lower freezer drawer to build up ice and eventually prevent the drawer from opening. Two months later the problem returned. We began a process of turning off power, emptying the drawers, placing hot water in pan within and melting down the build up. We do this 6 to 8 times a year since purchasing it. Today I went online to ask if Samsung has a permanent fix and they gave no advice - but did ask for my credit card for which they claim I would get an answer. Scam? Is Samsung a South or North Korean company? They are the worst.

I purchased a Samsung rf267aers refrigerator 12/01/09. The issue with this
I purchased a Samsung rf267aers refrigerator 12/01/09. The issue with this unit is the following. We the owners of this unit all (have) the same problem. Lousy design of defrost system allows the defrosted water to freeze in the discharge tube so it overflows into the lower platform under the pull out shelf. When it freezes, it freezes the roller wheel on the bottom of the shelf in the layer of ice and it wont move until you defrost the fridge to the point it releases. There are YouTube videos of how to defrost the coils but Samsung has known about this forever and wont fix it.So every month I remove the bottom tray and remove the built up ice slab. Now I have called samsung several times. Samsungs directions defrost the refrigerator. But even that process DO NOT solve the problem. ONCE unit was turned on again the SAME problem returned. I once inquired to samsung tech people how much it would cost me to fix the problem $700-$800 with NO GUARANTEE. BUT THEY WOULD put the old parts back. Of course I would have to pay for the labor for the install and removal that was about $165-320. Samsung bad NEWS.

Bought a Samsung Sodastream French door Refrigerator. I bought it June 2014. Dealing with Samsung is a nightmare. They have a call center in Honduras. They have a executive complaint department that is useless and rude. My ice maker had problems. It is in the fridge not freezer. Two service companies came out and said I would have to turn off fridge for two days. This happened April 2015. Still not fixed. It does not make cubes only crushed ice. The ice bucket is frozen and cant get open. It makes a horrible noise when you try to get ice. I have spent almost 100 hours on phone with Samsung. Some of the rudest people I have ever dealt with. This problem occurred in month 10 of purchase. Now Samsung told me one year warranty up, cant fix. Im going to court over this. $3500 for this. I live in Ma and we have a consumer protection here. We can give a 30 day demand letter then go to court. Dont buy Samsung. Service is nonexistent and reps are rude and not very smart. Never again. Im done bunch of morons for customer support.

Today morning dishwasher door does not look. We tried to check the owner manual and DID the setting. Nothing works. I will never recommend this product again due to failure within six month and poor service.

We purchased our first French door Samsung refrigerator in 2011 not only because Samsung was a household name and I figured would make appliances that would outlast their warranty period but I also purchased the Samsung because aesthetically they stood out in comparison to other brands. Well I was completely WRONG about the quality and durability of Samsung appliances. Our first refrigerator was still under warranty and had to be replaced in 2015 because they no longer made the parts needed to repair the 4 year old refrigerator. This four year old refrigerator would make a loud humming noise as a result of a faulty fan motor. We made a second poor decision to purchase another Samsung refrigerator thinking they would have improved upon the issues they had with their appliances, but again we were WRONG. The issues were worse, see list of faults below that started in 2016 one year after purchase:1. Massive water leak behind the water dispenser that requires placing a large towel to catch the water to prevent potential slips and/or falls from the water from pooling on the floor. 2. The ice maker only makes a cup full of ice per day even when pressing the Power freeze button. 3. The refrigerator intermittently makes a loud humming noise.See list of actions taken to address the issues our 1 year old refrigerator is having: 1. Defrosted the ice maker by keeping doors open and using a hair dryer in order to speed up the process. 2. Sealed the crack between housing of the ice maker and the refrigerator with waterproof silicone. 3. Purchase 2- 10 lb bags of ice from Buckeyes twice a week. 4. Keep refrigerator door open for extended periods of time in order to stop the humming noise (yes we had food in it at the time) and speed up the defrost process. Even after initiating our own interventions, we continue to have problems with our Samsung refrigerator making a loud intermittent humming noise, making ice, leaking large amounts of water behind the water dispenser. The reason Im taking the time out of my busy day to share with you these issues is because Im disappointed in this product and to prevent you from making the poor decision of purchasing a Samsung refrigerator. Its not worth the money. There is absolutely no reason why anyone should spend thousands of dollars on anything that is proven not to last over 5 years. When I was growing up, my mother kept the same refrigerator from the time I was 10 years old until I graduated college. Of course repairs were required but as stated earlier, this is my second Samsung refrigerator in the span of 4 years.Yes we have a warranty but this refrigerator began to have problems a year after purchase, my expectations of Samsung setting a higher standard when it comes to quality appliances has not been met. We have had to spend time troubleshooting issues on a refrigerator that cant go the 5 year distance and take time from work to have it repaired. BUY SMART BY NOT BUYING A SAMSUNG FRENCH DOOR STAINLESS STEEL REFRIGERATOR.

I bought Samsung SMH9207ST microwave 17 months ago and like the design. After 1 yr & 1 wk, the buttons push into the panel and I didnt care to call Samsung because its out of warranty. But now the SE error came on, I contact Samsung CS and they said they can set up a technician to call me in 2 days but is not free. I told him that so many people has these problem and it should be free of charges. He said he cant do anything about it. I am very upset with them because I own 4 more appliances from Samsung (cross my fingers that they wont die because its been 16 months old). Samsung RF217 - I purchased this model (32) after installing a 36 Samsung in my mothers house. I was impressed with the larger model and expected similar results. My initial displeasure with this model was only two door shelves are full depth, so youre limited to 2 shelves that measure about 6x 10 for tall items. The interior shelves have little flexibility and only allow for a maximum height of 9.5, so a lot of my tall items have to lie down (and hopefully dont leak). But my main complaint is one month after the warranty expired (there is 5 years on the refrigeration system), I began noticing water in the produce drawers, a lot. I emptied and cleaned the drawers till today, finally Id had enough and spent 2 hours melting the ice that blocked the drain tube. Lowes would not cover the cost of a service call since it was out of warranty and Samsung will not admit they have a design flaw. If you research this problem you will find it is a common occurrence, so I cannot recommend this refrigerator or brand until they remedy my problem.
